-grey
———
Lizzie and Yn have been together for three years. Best three and a half years of Yn’s life. She’s with the girl of her dreams, what more could she ask for?
For the past six months, she’s been planning something for Lizzie. Talking to many jewelers to get opinions on what ring designs. Even talked about it to your closest friend, basically a sister to you, Scarlett Johansson. In those six months, Lizzie noticed how secretive her girlfriend has been. She didn’t think anything of it at first, but every time she asks, she gets no explanation.
One day, walking to her usual coffee shop. Grabbing her coffee, she turns around, only to be hit by a force, spilling her hot coffee on them.
“Oh, shit! I’m so sorry.”
“You’re fine. I wasn’t paying atten— Lizzie?”
Elizabeth looks up.
“Robbie! Hey. How are you?”
“Soaked as of this moment.”
“I am so sorry about that.”
“It’s totally fine. It’s my fault anyway. How ‘bout I buy you another cup while we catch up?”
“I would love that.”
After that moment, they started to hang out more often. They didn’t end their relationship on bad terms years ago, so she thought, why not befriend him?
She would go over to his place, have movie nights, cook dinner and he would come over to her place whenever you were out doing whatever that Lizzie stopped questioning.
It was surprising that the paparazzi hadn’t caught them hanging out together out of the comfort and privacy of their homes.
You were out running some errands one afternoon, when you decided to get something to eat. Walking to yours and Lizzie’s favorite coffee shop, you see her sitting at a table through the window. You pull out your phone and decide to give her a call.
Lizzie hears her phone ring, seeing your name on the screen, she silences it and out it away just in time for Robbie to come back from the restroom, not knowing you were outside watching the scene play out.
“Who was that?” He asked her.
“No one important.” She replied.
You don’t think much of it, just thought that she was catching up with someone, not being able to clearly see who she was with, you went home instead.
Some time has passed. You have three weeks until your four year anniversary, meaning three weeks until you propose. You’ve picked up the ring from the jewelers and it looked even better as you hold the finished product in your hand. You’re excited and can’t wait to spend the rest of you life with Lizzie.
Going home earlier than you told Lizzie, you picked up both of your favorite takeout to surprise her with. Not seeing her as you walk in, you set up all the food at the bar, going up the stairs to cal her down. Nearing your shared bedroom, you hear an unfamiliar voice.
“Give me another chance, please.” It was a man’s voice.
“Robbie.” Isn’t that Lizzie’s ex? You ask yourself.
“I like you, hell I still love you and these past couple of months prove that you have feelings for me too. Meet me at our favorite restaurant tomorrow at six pm if you feel the same way I feel towards you.”
There’s a small pause.
“Okay.”
You couldn’t listen to anymore of the conversation. You quietly hurry down the stairs write a note and grab your keys and wallet and drive off, not having a destination in mind, just wanting to be as far away as possible.
Lizzie walks downstairs shortly after, hearing a car outside thinking it might be you. Once she gets down, she sees the table set up with food. Getting closer to the table, she sees a note.
Will be gone for a while. Don’t know how long. Don’t call.
-Yn
She throws the note away and reheat the food to eat for dinner.
Three Weeks Later
In those three weeks, Lizzie did meet up with Robbie at their favorite restaurant. They’ve been seeing each other regularly without Yn being in the way, even forgetting about her existence.
They decided to go for a long scenic drive, turning the radio on high at a popular station.
“We have some new stuff that we’re gonna be playing in a bit. One song is from an artist that has not released a song in a long time. So, without further ado this is Out of Love by Yn Yln.” Lizzie’s breath hitches and her body tenses. She hasn’t heard about her for a while.
I won't tell you I'm lonely
'Cause it may be selfish
I won't ask you to hold me
'Cause that won't mend what's helpless
There's not a thing I could say
Not a song I could sing
For your mind to change
Nothing can fill up the space
Won't ask you to stay
But let me ask you one thing
Oh, when did you fall out of love, out of love?
Oh, when did you fall out of love with me?
Did you find out about her and Robbie? How did you find out? When did you find out? When did she fall out of love with you? Did she actually fall out of love with you or just filling a missing void while you were gone?
I can't float in an ocean
That's already been drained
I won't cry at your feet now
I know my tears will fall in vain
There's not a thing I could say
Not a song I could sing
For your mind to change
Nothing can fill up the space
Won't ask you to stay
But let me ask you one thing
Robbie hasn’t said a word. He knew what they were doing was wrong, but he was too caught up in finally having the girl back that he didn’t care for the consequences.
Oh, when did you fall out of love, out of love?
Oh, when did you fall out of love with me?
No use wondering
Why your change in heart has wandered
So I'll ask you this question
'Cause it might help me sleep longer
Oh, when did you fall out of love, out of love?
Oh, when did you run out of love for me?
Out of love (out of love)
Out of love (out of love)
Out of love with me
Lizzie was now full on sobbing. It made her remember all of the times she was with you, all the times she listened to your music and made being away from you hurt a little less. How did cheating on you suddenly become something she resorted to?
“That was Out of Love by Yn Yln. Wait, what?” The radio host mutes himself for a bit. “We’ve just received some very horrible news. Music sensation Yn Yln just passed away a couple hours ago.” Elizabeth’s world just came crashing down. She just froze, not knowing how to react to this news. “Her representatives have spoken and released a statement. Stress Cardiomyopathy or Broken Heart Syndrome, is what they said. Wow, she was so young too. That’s just crazy. Rest in peace to such a young and talented musician. She’s touched our hearts with her music. Thank you for blessing us with one last song.”
One. Last. Song.
Those words struck something in her. The song that just played was the very last one you released before you died. And it was you questioning her love for you, or lack there of. She felt guilty. You died from a broken heart. A heart that Elizabeth broke.
She never got a call about you when you passed. It seemed as though you removed her as your emergency contact. She stopped spending time with Robbie. He tried comforting her, but she didn’t want to be anywhere near her living and breathing guilt. She told him to stop contacting him and to lose all contact with her.
Leading up to the day of your funeral, dressed in all black and made her way to where you friends and family were gathered. Scarlett, seeing her come closer, stepped away from her husband.
“You have some nerve showing your fucking face here!”
Lizzie froze in her spot. All the attention was on her now.
“You don’t deserve to be here. I don’t give a fuck if you’ve been together for years because YOU are the REASON she’s GONE! GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HERE! FUCK YOU!” Scarlett was getting pulled away by Colin. “LET GO OF ME!”
Lizzie breaks down, crying of guilt. Scarlett breaks down, crying of anger.
Lizzie eventually decides to leave, not wanting to upset Scarlett more. She knew how close the two of you were, how you passing is harder for her.
“Wait!” She turns back around seeing Scarlett walk to her with a box. “These are go you. You don’t deserve any of it, but she wanted me to give this to you. I don’t know if she knew of her dying, but she knew she wasn’t gonna see you anymore.”
With that, she drives back to you shared home with all the horrible memories with Robbie and the fainted ones with you.
Opening the box she notices three things. A letter, a flash drive and a small velvet box. Opening the velvet box, she sees a beautiful emerald ring. Knowing instantly the meaning of this ring, tears flood out of her eyes. Unfolding the paper it reads…
Lizzie,
If you’re reading this, then Scarlett thought that it was a good time to give it to you. I don’t even know where to start.
Well, I found out. I came home early to surprise you with our favorite takeout and went upstairs to call you down for dinner and overheard your conversation with Robbie. I wanted to know if you went through with his deal and you did so I am writing this as a goodbye to our relationship or not a relationship anymore I guess and to you.
In the flash drive, there’s a song I wrote—
Putting the letter down, Lizzie quickly grabs her laptop and plugs in the dive. She sees one file. She clicks on it and a song plays.
(it’s Emerald Eyes by Anson Seabra you don’t have to play it, just the song I had in mind)
—and it was supposed to be played right before I got on one knee and asked you to spend the rest of our lives together.
(You know how much I love your eyes, so I decided to write a whole song about how they make me feel.)
But, that won’t be happening anymore. After four years of us being together, you still weren’t over Robbie. I just wish that you broke it off with me before getting back together with him. Make it hurt a little bit less.
The ring is something I’ve been working on or working with people on. Took six months. It’s why I was always gone and secretive, which ultimately made you go to another so this whole thing is actually my fault. I drove you away and I’m sorry for me, but glad that you found your way back to the person you love even if that’s not me.
Im just rambling on paper now. I won’t be coming back for any of my clothes or anything. Only took the essentials so you can throw everything out. This is goodbye, I guess. I love you. I always will even if you don’t love me back.
Forever yours,
Yn
How can you blame yourself for her infidelity, she asks herself. You loved her so much that you couldn’t even point the blame at her.
She wishes there was a way to apologize to you. To tell her everything she did was a mistake. Most importantly, she never fell out of love with you. You understood and loved her like no other. She’ll never find anyone to love her like how you loved her, not even Robbie could love her like you did.
She was too late. She can never gain back the time to be with you again, not even for a minute. You were gone, believing she fell out of love.
Lizzie took the ring out of the box and slid it on her finger.
“I do.”
But it’s too late.

Summary: Lizzie has to attend a party and you know your girlfriend very well so you plan a relaxing surprise to help her with anxiety.
Warnings: None. Just bunch of fluff here and there. lol
A/n: Hello! I'm back. Happy Valentine's day peeps! I'm here with a new fic of my favorite genre, fluff! This fic is for my Curious George anon. Thank you for helping me brainstorming on this one, darling! I feel a little rusty with my writing but Happy reading y'all! I hope you enjoy this.
Also, here is the song I mentioned in this fic:
Main Masterlist
The soft white light shines the room perfectly. Calming sophisticated tunes float around the venue of the party you and Lizzie are at.
The clock shows that both of you have been attending the party for over two hours then you look at your girlfriend again. Bunch of friends and colleagues have come up to both of you to catch up and have some small talks. Her smile and laughter really warm your heart but you know how she really feels because of her social anxiety. You saw her keep playing with her ring whenever she is talking with somebody.
You knew this would happen, no matter how well she handles it. You know that Lizzie always gets nervous every time she has to be in a social event with a lot of interactions but she couldn't miss this party so here you are with her now with a surprise you have planned for her.
As soon as Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams finally get distracted from talking to Lizzie by other Marvel casts, you gently pull her away a little to talk to her.
"Love, come with me. I have something to show you.” You whispered and took her hand.
“Okay. Where are we going? What is it, babe?” Her eyebrows furrowed as she asked curiously in a whisper.
Her soft hand grips yours tighter as her steps follow yours to the valet service in the front of the party venue.
"Babe, why are we leaving the party? Wait, is that your truck? Why is it here?" The blonde looks puzzled as soon as she sees the valet clerk drives your car and pulls in front of both of you. “It’s a surprise. Now, shall we go, my lady” You smile lovingly at her question and proceed to open the door for her as your hand gestures the way for her to get in.
Flustered and with blushing cheeks, she smiles. “Wow, you are really full of surprises, aren’t you Y/n Y/l/n?” She finally gets into your truck. “Yes, I am.” You wink and you close the door.
On the way to where your surprise is at, Lizzie gives quite some effort to find out what you've been planning or simply how or who helped you with this but you are adamant not to say any of it and always try to talk about something else.
You can't lie, you are nervous yet excited at the same time when you have arrived at the desert.
Lizzie looks around outside then looks up to your truck's sun roof and instantly holds your hand. "Hmm so quiet here and look at all those stars babe! This is really nice! Thank you for the surprise, y/n." She exclaims and leans to kiss you cheek.
You chuckles. "Lizzie darling, you don't think that we would just sit here to watch the night sky, right?"
Once again, she looks puzzled. "Isn't this the surprise you meant?"
Your thumb rubs the back of her hand. "Well, part of it. I know your anxiety would come because of this big party so I planned this so you can calm down and relax from everything. I asked Aubrey to drive this truck so we could switch rides. So here you go, get comfy and put this on. I'll wait for you outside. No peeking." You take your turn and give her lips a quick kiss shortly after you hand her a pair of sweaters and sweatpants you prepared. She takes them off your hand happily.
You are preparing everything while she is changing. "Ready, Liz?" You asked.
"Yeah, can I see it now?" She asks. Anticipation is killing her by now.
You scurry to the passenger side. "Close your eyes, sweetheart." She follows what you ask her as you lead her way to the back of your truck.
"Okay. You can open your eyes now."
A gasp flew out of her as soon as her eyes adjusted with the view in front of her. Fairy lights around the frame of your truck. Two pillows lay perfectly on a mattress that is covered by a warm thick blanket. Lizzie sees a tray of cheese and fruit plate with some small pieces of her favorite sandwiches complete with a bottle of sparkling cider and two glasses.
"Are those…" she asks but you finish her question. "Your favorite sandwich and sparkling cider? Yes." You smile with your hands rubbing the side of her arms.
She turns to you in a split second, hugging you and giving you a longer peck of kiss. "Thank you baby! This is beautiful!" Excitement sounds clear in her tone and oh that smile of hers is priceless.
"Anything for you. Now let's enjoy your surprise and watch the stars." You pick her up to get on the back of your truck and take a seat on the soft mattress. Silence spreads wide in your surroundings, a cold breeze brushes over the skin but is defeated by the blanket over both of you. Two of you share food and drink together while talking about anything, joking around with each other and sharing some laughs as well.
Warmth spreads inside her and joy rapidly bubbles in your heart. You look at the woman you love next to you and every second you fall in love all over again with her.
She leans to you and lays her head on your shoulder as soon as you extend your arms for a hug. You wrap your arms around her, feeling her snuggle up as close as she can. Your hand runs slowly on the side of her arms and then enjoys the view of the sky full of stars together for another good half hours in a very comfortable silence. Letting the lovely intimate and romantic ambience soaked in between you and your girlfriend. You give a short gentle kiss on the crown of her head.
"Liz, do you remember when we talked about an old radio I had when I was younger?" Your question breaks the silence.
"The one that you always use to record a list of songs with it?" She answers you with a question with a very relaxed tone.
"Yes and guess what? I found one online and I got you something." Your arm unwraps her body and you pull out an old radio tape of a box
"Another surprise?" She asked in such a thrill followed by an ear to ear smile.
You laughed. "Yes. Here you go." You shook your head a little at her antics and handed her a cassette tape.
"Our Soundtracks." Lizzie mumbles the title of the cassette and it definitely lures even a bigger smile and happiness bloomed inside her. Her eyes avert to the nice rows of song titles that you wrote on the cover. They are all meaningful songs for you and Lizzie throughout 2 years of relationship.
"You made me this?" She asks and gets a nod and a smile from you as an answer.
Her brain shortly ordered her green eyes to search for one particular song and she gasps softly. Her eyes look at you in awe. "Aaw you put Noah Gundersen's acoustic version of Yellow in it!"
Her excitement makes you laugh. "Of course..it's our favorite song. Let me play it." She lets you take the cassette and plays it. The soft romantic song starts to play and all of a sudden Lizzie brings herself off the truck. While your mind trying to figure out what she is doing, she extended her hand. Without a question your hand takes hers.
“This song always makes me want to slow dance with you.” She says as she pulls you closer to her and both of you start to sway slowly.
"You know that I can't dance, right?"
"Oh sweetie, I know you can." Her smile brightens up the dark desert around you and your heart.
"Hey now, you are the one who always does the happy dance, not me." You tease and then you raise her hand to spin her slowly. She giggles as soon as she's back in your arms after the spin.
The more you both dance, the more you and Lizzie sink in such intimate moments. Your heart feels light and she feels drunk in happiness. You can hear her take a relaxed deep breath.
“Thank you for all this, babe. You are the best! The whole package and I’m so lucky to have you.” She expressed then hugged you a little tighter.
You laugh nervously and you are relieved that she doesn’t see your blushing cheeks. “Oh, quit it, love. I was just doing my best pampering you because you deserve it.” You rub her back so gently.
She looks up to you in adoration. “And I was just telling you the truth.” She completed her compliment with a small gentle kiss then she smiled on your lips.
In mid slow dancing and enjoying the delightful sky, you heard her exclaim “Y/n, a shooting star! Quick! Make a wish.” She points and immediately closes her eyes. You find it very cute to see her smile while she quietly makes her wish.
She opens her gorgeous eyes, you could’ve swear that your heart skipped a bit just now when you see her green eyes that you adore with all the love you have for her. It always happens no matter how many times you see them, you are even sometimes stunned by her beauty and forget how to breathe. She smiles at you. “Did you make a wish?” She asks in a blissful tone.
“Oh uh no I didn't. I was looking at how excited you were, it made me happy and I forgot to make a wish. What wish did you make?” you chuckle.
“Nope, I’m not gonna tell you about it.”
You cackle once more and let out your curiosity about her answer. "Why?"
"Because… what if it's not gonna happen if I tell anyone about it?" She quickly gives you her reason.
"Ah okay okay. Well, tell me when it comes true please." You request as you spin her one more time.
"Oh yeah, for sure.. You'll know it."
With that you and Lizzie spend a little more time enjoying the night.
______
The night’s sky is clear, fairy lights shine in your surroundings. You feel her soft hand holding yours and the other on your shoulder as you wrap your right hand wraps her waist. Both of you sway around together with the same song you played that night at the desert is playing softly.
Everybody is quiet and drinking the view in awe, watching you and Lizzie cherish each other. You admire every single feature of her face. Her eyes twinkle and they are prettier than any stars you’ve seen in the sky. Her cute nose whenever she scrunches it always makes you laugh. Her ravishing smile makes her as pretty as a picture. You are hypnotized by her look in an all white wedding dress, doing the first dance together.
“Babe, remember that night I made a wish when we saw a shooting star in the desert?” She asks softly with an elation.
“Yes? What about it?”
“This was it. I made a wish that someday we will get married and grow old together.” Your wife revealed, looking up to you with heart eyes.
“Aww, that was really cute but you know what? Make a wish or not, I would still marry you. I knew you were the one since the first time we met.”
“You are so adorable. I love you, Y/n.”
“I love you too.” You sealed her lips with a loving kiss.
A/n: Welp, that's it for today. Let me know what you think. Reblog and comment are highly appreciated. Follow me for more. See you in next!

Imagine being a DC actor and getting married to Elizabeth Olsen.
Tumblr media
“Therefore, it is my privilege, by the authority given to me by the State of California, to pronounce that you are husband and wife. Y/N, you may now kiss your bride.”
This was really happening. This wasn’t a play, it wasn’t a movie being shot, it wasn’t a television show or a rehearsal. This was real. Your wife, Elizabeth Olsen, was beaming at you, looking more beautiful than she ever had before in her white gown. And you went in for that kiss, wrapping your arms around her and making sure not to let go.
Cheers erupted from both sides of the room. Both filled to the brim with family and celebrities, anyone who didn’t make it into the bridal or the grooms’ party. On Elizabeth’s side was basically the entire cast of the MCU, filling up the benches to capacity. Her own-screen husband, Paul Bettany, was wolf-whistling her marriage to her now in real-life husband, you. And on your side, you had many DC actors - including almost everyone who ever played Batman before you, Gal, Jason, Henry. A full standing ovation for the kiss that a lot of movie geeks on the internet had been bitching and moaning about.
After the ceremony and all of the pictures, it was almost time for the big entrance. You both waited in the hallway, hearing the music coming from the large room. You took hold of your wife’s hands, waiting for the Emcee to announce you. “Have I told you today that you look gorgeous?” You asked.
“Hmmm - once or twice,” She said, teasingly, since it’s all you said throughout the photoshoots.
“Oh, well in that case, let me tell you again. You’re gorgeous.”
With the emotions high, the good mood seemingly never running out, she grabbed the back of your neck and pulled you down to her 5‘5 height and laid a thick one right on you, just as the doors swung open to prepare for your arrival. Laughter and cat-calls was what you were greeted with, as you raised yourself back up with a bashful face. Elizabeth fixed your bowtie, and sheepishly, you both entered to the room filled with the most supportive people that you could ever imagine having in your life. Even if you did start to overhear a couple of arguments after drinks were had about which movie universe was better, this was the best night of your life.

Reader usually comes to set punctually but when one day she doesn't appear and Scarlett, Florence or Elisabeth doesn't get a response to their worried messages/calls, Lizzie calls your mother. She finds out you had an car accident while driving to set and you're barely hanging on. Fast forward, you come back to filming and they take care of you. Fluff pls
Tumblr media
ᕚ---ᕘ
Elizabeth Olsen tried to reach you on the cell phone for the fifth time this morning. It was already 9am at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and you should be awake and actually on set by now. But your calls always were forwarded to the mailbox and her desperate messages to reach you did not come through.
She was beginning to worry. It was not your style at all not to answer the phone, let alone not appear on the film set punctually like you always did. Anxiously, she dialed your number, trying to use the house phone this time, but the call was not answered over it either.
Already during the countless attempts, she was on her way to the other girls who had to shoot their scenes in the new Avenger movie and stumbled into Scarlett's trailer, with the phone firmly to her ear while nervously ruffling her hair. "Have you heard anything from Y/n?"
Both Scarlett and Florence shook their heads thoughtfully and the brunette started pacing in circles. Liz scrolled through her contacts, she hesitated briefly, then she pressed the green receiver and listened to the annoying ringing.
After the second ring, a muffled voice took the call and she could hear the other end trying to squelch some sobs. "Good morning, y/m/n. This is Lizzie. I can not reach y/n and I was wondering if you know where she is? My calls go out but she does not answer. We spoke on the phone last night and she has a shooting day that she did not show up on."
The line went silent and a queasy feeling flared up in the brunette. She bit her lip nervously, fiddling with her coat considerably. Sobs proliferate in her hearing and she did not know what was going on. "Mrs. y/m/n?"
"I am sorry," your mother swallow hard as the words fell out of her mouth in a whisper. She had intended to call your co-worker and best friend, but she had delayed her call this far. She did not know how to teach the tender soul about the news, but she could not help but pour her pure wine now."Y/n had an accident on the way to work."
"Oh my god, what happened?" she asked, drawing the attention of the other two women as well. She quickly supported herself on the small kitchen counter and put her hand over her open mouth.
"According to witnesses, she lost control of the car when a tire hit a very deep pothole." the woman on the other end of the phone said carefully, pausing at each word to maintain her composure. "She crashed into a guardrail, which was breached. She got hurled further until her car finally came to a stop in a ditch. If a nearby tree had not stopped her, she would have-"
She sighed, not daring to voice her thoughts about the horror scenarios in her head. Lizzie's suspicion was quietly confirmed, the feeling deep inside her never deceiving. The brunette wiped her face, on the verge of tears.
"What condition is she in? Which hospital?" The brunette paced restlessly on the rough carpet, trying to find her inner calm after the heart-pounding news. By now, Florence and Scarlett had gathered around her, putting their heads close to the receiver to overhear the conversation. "Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She is in critical condition, doctors are unsure if she will survive the night."
"I will be on my way immediately." She quickly ended the call and threw her cell phone in her coat pocket. With her car keys firmly in her hands so that they were already leaving marks, she hastily left the small room and drove to you, not caring an inch about her job.
ᕚ---ᕘ
The following months were torture for your family. For the first few days the doctors kept you sedated so as not to add to the psychological stress of the pain in order to allow your body to recover as much as possible. Several times a day there were threatening situations in which you had to intervene - from fluctuations in blood pressure to the correct ventilation of your damaged lungs was a constant trouble spot in the intensive care unit, which the doctors kept on their toes.
A pulmonary embolism also spread, which they first tried to solve with conservative methods before they had to intervene surgically to save your life. Even after that, the tension of your mother and your colleagues did not let up. Your blood was so diluted by the drugs that you could suffer a cerebral hemorrhage at any moment.
That evening, Elizabeth Olsen sat on the edge of your bed and held your hand. She talked to you softly, so that no one could hear her. Just like the doctors suggested to her heart. -Talk to her. Hold her hand. She needs something to keep her alive. Tell her about her dreams and goals, if you know them. She needs to want to live-
She did that until late at night. Sometimes she dozed off and slept for an hour, but at last she woke up with a startle, thinking that she felt a squeeze of your hand in hers. And sure enough, after weeks of being in a coma, you finally woke up on your own.
That was three months ago and only today you were able to go back to work. It was cold and raining and you rushed to the set with a large cake pan under your arms. You carefully walked around the puddles to the make-up trailer, the door of which was not completely closed but only ajar.
With your hand raised, you slowly opened the door and saw your best friend getting ready to play her role as Scarlett Witch with her stylist and make-up artist. "Lizzie?" you called, raising your voice to give it more expression and let it shine through the soft music in the background.
Her eyes sought the spot in the mirror that gave her a view of the door before her head was hastily turned to face you. A wide grin stretches across her red lips. "Oh Y/n I did not know you were going to show up for work today," she stammered, and as she spoke, the brunette stood up and walked towards you happily.
"Uh yeah, sorry. I wanted to make it a surprise. Even brought cake, homemade." only now did she notice that you were holding a cake tray with chocolate cake firmly between your arms that was pressed tightly against your body. Elizabeth grabbed your shoulder and gently but firmly pulled you into her arms. "It is so good to have you back."
"I missed your hugs." you sighed and snuggled up to her even tighter before you looked up at her and met her emerald green eyes. Liz looked at you too and she felt her pulse suddenly quicken. There was something in your gaze that made her very nervous. "How are holding up? Any pain I should know about?" she lifted her hand and tenderly stroked your cheek.
You felt your skin tingle under her touch and you wondered if that is how it's supposed to be when you are just friends. She smiled broadly at you and that smile made your heart beat even faster. "A little tug in my thigh every now and then, but do not worry too much. I have survived worse."
"You know I will always worry about you," the brunette replied and you thought you heard a tremor in her voice. You said nothing but still felt her hand warm and soft on your cheek.
All of a sudden you seemed to come back to reality and detached yourself from her. "Where are the others?" you murmured softly and were not impressed by your physical withdrawal, you would like to stay in her arms and feel her closeness as long as you possibly could.
"They are already on set. They will be glad to see you again."

Beautiful
 PAIRING: Elizabeth Olsen x fem!reader
WARNINGS: bad grammar
CONTAINS: fluff
SONG: Perfect - Ed Sheeran
A/N: In Los Angeles is February mostly without snow and it’s warm weather. Or at least Google said that.
gif isn’t mine
Tumblr media
Today was the day. Today was Lizzie’s birthday. More precisely, today is February 16. Lizzie was in the grocery buying food for dinner so I had some time to pack the gift I have for her. It’s beautiful necklace with heart shape ruby. The necklace was in a shiny black box with velvety white inside.
That wasn’t everything. I wrote on a little piece of paper one hundred reasons why I love her and put it into a jar with little ribbon on it.
The last thing I wanted to do with her today was take her to flower meadow I found recently. I know how much Lizzie loves flowers so I think it’s perfect to take her there and give her the gifts on the meadow.
I heard rattle of keys so I quickly put packed gifts under our bed and go down stairs to welcome Lizzie. I saw her holding two large bags while she was struggling taking her shoes off. I ran to her and took one of the bags. It was pretty heavy.
‘Oh thank you love.’ Lizzie said while she was still taking her shoes off. We want to make spaghetti together for dinner. ‘You want help with the shoes?’ I asked with little smile on my face.
‘No, no I got it.’ Elizabeth quickly responded. She finally took her shoes off and turn to look at me. She had little messy hair from it but she was still wearing that bright smile.
I smiled back at her and make my way to the kitchen. Elizabeth was right after me. I put the bag on the kitchen desk and Lizzie does the same. ‘So today plans are that you’re gonna go into a car and wait for me.’ I said with little smirk on my face.
Lizzie put her grumpy face. ‘I thought that you’re gonna tell me more that that.’ she said while she was still trying to act grumpy. I could tell that she’s excited. At least a little bit. ‘But before I go into a car I’m gonna use the bathroom If you let me.’ she said jokingly.
‘Sure, go.’ I replied. Lizzie turn her back on me and goes to the bathroom. I ran as faster as I could to the bedroom for the gifts. I grab them put them into backpack where I had some food for picnic and blanket. I ran down stairs hoping that Lizzie was still in bathroom and she was so I put my shoes on and go out to a car. I open a car’s doors and put the backpack on the back seat.
When I did that I heard the doors opened. I looked on the door and saw Lizzie already coming to me. I open front door of the car and I sat behind the wheel. Lizzie went to sit in the passenger seat. When we put on our seat belts I started driving from our driveway.
‘So where are we going?’ Elizabeth asked. I sigh and laugh a little bit. The flower meadow wasn’t so far from our house but it was in nature. And there was privacy. So we should be there in like twenty minutes. ‘That’s surprise I’m not gonna tell you.’ I said back.
‘Ugh I really want to know and you know I’m not very patient.’ Lizzie mumbled. I just laugh and didn’t answer her on it. She had to be patient I didn’t want to ruin the surprise.
I turned into a dusty dirt road. We are really close so I started looking for a place to park. I parked and turn of the engine. ‘We’re here, come on.’ I spouted. I got out of the car and opened the back door where the backpack was. Lizzie got out of the car too. I grab the back pack and lock the car.
‘This way follow me.’ I pointed. We were going through a small forest. The forest was before the beautiful flower meadow we were going too. The flower meadow was surrounded by forest so it was completely in private.
‘Give me your hand and close your eyes.’ I giggled. She smiled back at me and does what I asked her for. We step out from the forest and walk more into the flowers. ‘Should I be scared?’ she asked.
‘No.’ I blurted out. ‘Now open your eyes.’ I said while smiling. Elizabeth open her eyes and gasp. I can see how her pupils dilated. You also can see little spark in her eyes. ‘Wow that is beautiful.’ she said. She turn to look at me and I saw little tears in her eyes.
‘I’m glad you like it.’ I smiled. God how glad I’m that she likes it. ‘But that’s not everything.’ I added. She quickly looked at me again with open mouth. ‘What there is more?’ She gasped. I giggled and nod at her. I pull out a blanket and spread it on the ground.
We sit down and I started putting food and sweets on the blanket. ‘You got food? So we’re having picnic.’ Lizzie spoke up. ‘Yes but there is still little surprise.’ I replied. Lizzie looked at me confusedly and I giggled a little.
The food was already served and I grab the gifts. First was the necklace because I know that Lizzie loves more my handmade gifts. I turned at her with the biggest smile I could put on my face. ‘Happy Birthday!’ I yelled.
Lizzie gasped when I opened the little shiny black box. ‘Wow! I don’t know what to say. I- Thank you baby!’ she said. She pull me into a tight hug and kiss me all over my face. I giggled and told her to turn her back on me so I could put it on her neck.
I gently zap it and grab the jar with those reasons why I love you. Elizabeth turn at me with smile and when she saw the jar in my arms she couldn’t take it anymore. She started crying.
I smiled and give it to her with whispered little happy birthday. She took it from my arms and examined it in more detail. ‘I’m glad you like it but please don’t cry.’ I said. She giggled and wiped away her tears.
‘Thank you so much! What did I do to deserve you?’ she asked. ‘I love you so much.’ she added.
I smiled and started tearing up a little bit but I hide it. ‘I love you too.’ I replied. She hugged me around the waist and put her head on my shoulder. And I put my head on her head.
Lizzie POV
God I’m so lucky I have her. Y/N is the best thing that happened to me. I have the best girlfriend on the world no one can prove me otherwise. I thought.

The art of eye contact - Wanda Maximoff
Tumblr media
★Pairing: stripper!Wanda Maximoff x innocent!f!reader
Summary: your friend drags you to a strip club, what could happen there to such an innocent little thing like you?
★Warnings: little NSFW 18+, lap dance, grinding, pet names, a little fluff (sorry I can’t without fluff)
★Word count: 1.5k
★AN: hi anon! In general, my requests are closed, but I found this very interesting, so here we are. there was nothing about 18+ in the request and I decided to remove this part (well, almost). hope you’ll like it
Tumblr media
The loud music and shining lights of the club were blinding as you sat shyly in your seat and looked somewhere at the floor. There was a can of soda on the table nearby. The people around are mostly men, but your eye notices some women who also came to watch the show. And only one question: what the hell are you doing here?
“Come on Y/N let’s go, I’ve been there more than once, maybe you’ll like it.” This is exactly what you heard from your friend half an hour ago, when you were sitting in her apartment and just playing online games. You came to her in a terrible mood because of a failed college exam and sought solace in this meeting. In the last couple of weeks, your nerves were on edge and all you need now was to let off steam after a series of failures. “Fucking shit, can’t you see they’re shooting at you!?” You told her angrily as she turned away from the laptop screen without following the game. You definitely needed another way to relax.
Despite your 21, you had never been to this kind of establishment and of all your friends, you were the most innocent person, not knowing what relationships and sex are. "Come on, let's go, don't be so boring." She insisted, "If you don't like it, then I give you permission to hit me." You took off your headphones and sighed. If you think so, then you were curious to visit the strip club. "okay." After that, within 10 minutes you were riding in a taxi to an address unknown to you.
Returning to the present time, you tried not to stare too much at all these people dancing at the poles, the clothes on them were becoming less and less every minute and your cheeks were flushed red. Your friend hit you with her elbow, signaling for you to look (she paid for the entrance and doesn’t want her money to disappear into the floor in which you are ready to make a hole with your gaze). You look up again and look at each dancer in turn until you reach her. To your right is dancing a woman with long red hair, which is pulled back into a messy bun with a shiny clip. Her top was already off, revealing a red fabric bra that did not hide the softness of her breasts. She was still wearing a long skirt that cut out to her hips, so you could see her legs, which seemed to be moving closer to you. Stop why is she coming to you.
While you watched as if under hypnosis, the stranger was already in front of you and grabbed the soda from your hand and put it on the table to put her hands on either side of you on the armrests. Her back arched and she made a small wave, so that her breasts were a few centimeters from your face, it seemed like you were ready to explode from what was happening. Her head tilted, her lips reached your ear so she could shout to you over the noise of the music, “I’m Wanda, nice to meet you.” In your opinion, people usually don’t get to know each other by sticking their almost bare breasts under the noses of strangers, but remember where you were and toss all the questions. In any case, all you did was nod and again direct your gaze somewhere to the side. It seemed that you had turned into a bundle of nerves and embarrassment.
Wanda took this as a sign that she needed to look for another client for the night, but your friend, who had been watching all this time from the side, took the redhead somewhere to the side and seemed to give her a bill and instructions on what to do.
"Where have you been?" You asked the girl as she approached with a sly grin, noticing how red you were. Why the hell did she bring you here and leave you to your fate? “I have another little gift for you that you’ve been eyeing so eagerly.” Was she teasing you? Defined. “What are you talking about, what kind of gift am I thinking enough for today.” Then your friend stepped aside and showed Wanda standing behind her. The girl leaned over so only you could hear, “I paid, so have fun.” You didn’t immediately understand what exactly she paid for, but Wanda’s sweet smile brought the idea to your brain and your eyes widened.
The redhead gently took your hand in hers and you obeyed (only out of curiosity) and followed her into the private rooms. When the red matte door closed and it became much quieter, you sat on the sofa with your hands on your knees and asked a question. “What exactly she told to do?” One of your knees is bouncing from the fact that you are shaking your leg trying not to be nervous. Your friend has already explained to the redhead what an innocent little thing you are, so the woman decided to first ask permission for some actions.
"She ordered a lap dance, but you're such a sweet girl that I was willing to do it for free just for you." She came up to you again and leaned in, so close that her breath was on your neck and you could smell the scent of her cherry perfume. “Can I sit on your lap honey?” Her soft sexy whisper drove you crazy and you squeaked in agreement. Immediately you felt the weight of her body on you, how her long legs in stockings wrapped around you and your core began to pulsate just from this. "What should I do? I…I never…” Wanda’s hips rocked and her core pressed against your stomach. “Oh I know baby, I can see it right away.” She giggled. “I’m sitting right on top of you, can you tell me your name?” Your head fell back and your hair fell into face, you really didn’t want to seem like what you were, namely the inexperienced mess right under her. “My name is Y/N.” Your hands grabbed the upholstery of the sofa, you didn’t know how to touch her, or whether it was possible at all.
Wanda's hands dropped to yours and placed them on her hips. “That’s it Y/N, you can touch me if you want.” Your head turned towards her and you finally looked into her big green eyes. It was so beautiful that no part of her body interested you as much as this. “Your eyes are so…lovely.” The woman seemed confused at these words. Her clients told her a lot, in particular something about her breasts or ass, but never before had anyone given her a compliment with such trepidation. “Oh, what a cute little thing you are Y/N.” She stood up on your knees, her hands reached for the clasp of her skirt, which she was still wearing, but you stopped her. “No, don't. I mean, you're so beautiful, you don't need to take your clothes off to prove it."
This was the third time you had confused her that night. Of course, your inexperience spoke to you, but you also didn’t want to do something so blatant with her, at least not right now. Although perhaps there was one thing that you wanted to get. “I...can you kiss me? That is, if you don’t want to or it’s forbidden, I don’t insist, but...” Her soft, full lips fell on yours without allowing you to finish, it seems that at these words the woman’s heart sank painfully. Her dark lipstick mixed with your cherry gloss and with every movement of your lips, your hands gripped her soft thighs tighter. “Wanda...” You wanted to ask, but she wasn’t done with you. When there was not enough air, she pulled away and turned her head away. “Sorry, it was not according to regulations.” You didn't understand why she was apologizing.
“No, no, everything is fine, at least... it sounds so stupid but... maybe you would like to get to know each other better and go on a date, for example?” You realized how naive it sounded, asking the girl from the strip club you had just met on a date. Surely everyone who was with her in this room made her such an offer.
Instead of words, the woman got up from you and you thought that the time that your friend had paid for was over, but after a few seconds she handed you a piece of paper with numbers. “Here, this is my number, text me in the morning if you don’t change your mind.” You took the small piece of paper from her hands and carefully placed it under your phone case.
For a minute you were in an awkward ringing silence. “Can I kiss you again?” You asked shyly. Even then, Wanda couldn’t refuse you.
When you left the private room and said goodbye, your friend immediately met you with questions about how everything went. You told her, not knowing that in this evening Wanda did not bring anyone else into the room where you were together.

Heart Drawing - Wanda Maximoff Oneshots
Tumblr media
Summary: Dinner with Mr. Heart takes a different turn. Or, what anyone who wasn't a synthezoid would have done at the sight of Wanda in that dress.
Warnings: (+18), purely smut, bottom!Wanda (bratty), rough smut, creampie, strap-on, fingering and oral (w rec),  Westview setting, established relationship, kinda semi-public (?), almost getting caught but Wanda keeps doing magic tricks | Words: 1.169k
A/N-> I can't believe I finally wrote this, it's a fixing of the scene from WandaVision because I always thought it was unbelievable. If Wanda prepared a romantic dinner for me, especially wearing that, there would be no dinner at all. A good Wandavision anniversary for all of us btw <3
General Masterlist | Wattpad | AO3
-&-
Although it was one of the skills she developed first, mental control could be very difficult. Especially if Wanda was experiencing some other strong emotion, such as stress, anger, or sadness.
Or physical exertion, like a fight with an alien or lifting machines or the like.
Or just being so close to cumming in the middle of the kitchen.
And you, well, you weren't making it any easier for her. Your hips never faltered in their brutal rhythm against her and every time the fake cock attached to your waist slid between her tight walls, Wanda had the impression that even the magic around the house was failing.
Her eyes were still red, though - Wanda is still surprised that she has any control when you slide your fingers down to tug at her neglected clit and she's forced to muffle her whimper with a bite on your shoulder.
She's sure she won't be able to keep the two guests static in the kitchen if you keep this up. But the soft protest is little more than a choke; "S-slow down, detka" she gasps directly into your ear.
You adjust the angle, and your hips slow down, but god, you thrust hard enough for the kitchen counter to crack. The dress she called a surprise barely hanging on her body is pushed down even further with the rough motions and Wanda won't be surprised if the the magic fails her once and for all with the reach of her orgasm.
She wasn't complaining, after all, this was the whole point of the night. A misunderstanding about a heart drawn on the calendar had led her to believe that tonight would be an anniversary (of which, she and Agnes came to no conclusion, and Wanda preferred to pretend it was supposed to be a wedding one). She got chocolate fruit and a dress that made you ignore your boss in the other room and force her against the counter as soon as you caught the first glimpse of her cleavage.
Wanda tried to be the voice of reason, even if her voice was hoarse and not very determined. She asked you; "What about them?" but all you did was give her a dirty little smile as you unbuttoned your pants.
"Play your tricks, my lovely little witch." That's what you whispered before sliding into her in probably the only gentle thrust of the night, and well, we're back to the beginning.
Wanda being fucked roughly on the counter in the kitchen while trying to keep the two guests in the living room.
She doesn't know, or think she doesn't know, at least not consciously about how that toy ended up inside your pants. She doesn't think about it, nor about when your hips start to buck and how when you come first, she can feel something hot squirting inside her. She can only mew in arousal, feeling your weight fall on her as you return your movements, faster than before making it impossible for her to hold back any longer. Your mouth finds hers again, and you swallow every dirty moan she lets out as she finally reaches her climax a moment later.
The kitchen, perhaps the whole city, shakes with the force of this orgasm. Wanda doesn't notice, but you're kind of mesmerized by the whole thing. She doesn't even realize she has lost control, still panting and soft under your body but you hear footsteps approaching.
It's your powers that keep the kitchen door tightly shut, and Wanda blinks exhaustedly at the knocks.
"I'll tell them dinner's canceled." You murmur, kissing her cheek before pulling out, the act drawing a gasp from the other. Wanda forces her body to react when you make mention of moving away, her legs hooking behind your knees while she gestures in the air with her fingers glowing red.
"They'll find their way on their own." That's what she says before pressing her mouth to yours again. You smiled into the kiss, saving a mental note to comment that you'd probably lose your job for this. But those were problems for later; right now, you were focused on your darling wife moaning on your tongue.
Your kisses descended to her collarbone, marking the skin gently as Wanda struggled to breathe. Your body soon followed the lead, and you ended up on your knees on the kitchen floor with your face between her legs, taking a moment just to admire the image of Wanda's pussy leaking your mixed cum.
Your breathing against her was driving her crazy, she moved her hips forward, one of her hands grabbing a handful of your hair and trying to pull you in, but you fought back. Wanda meowed in protest.
"Please." It didn't sound much like begging, and you raised your eyes to her. Wanda blushed heavily at the image but tried to bait you by moving her free fingers to her own pussy, spreading the wetness before sinking a finger in. She whimpered before teasing; "Come on baby, I know you want a taste."
You bite your tongue, but you can't contain the shuddering of your body and Wanda smiles at you, a finger teasing its way in. You try not to fall for it but she mewls as she pushes her finger further inside and you curse quietly before you take action. Your hand pushes hers away, and you sink your face into her pussy before Wanda can complain; she chokes on a moan, her back arching on the counter as you eat her out in hungry determination. Your hands grip her thighs wide open and Wanda struggles to control the sounds, trying to find some ground as she clutches your hair, but all it serves for is to keep your head in place as she grinds harshly against your face.
She is almost robbed of her orgasm the next moment when there is a knock at the back door. It's she who is startled, failing in her movements towards your face, but you groan in frustration at the interruption and instead of stopping the whole thing, the vibration takes Wanda over the edge, and she has to cover her mouth with her hand to avoid the sound that escapes her as the climax washes over her.
She's still trembling on the counter when you stand up, a mess of cum running down your chin that you wipe off with the back of your hand, which Wanda watches with exhausted eyes as you lick it clean a moment later.
"I'll send her away." You mutter, evidently against your will to get off her. When Wanda mentions protesting, you offer her a wink, your hands busy hiding the toy back in your pants. " We'll carry on upstairs."
She tries to stand up on shaky legs while you answer the back door to the nosy neighbor. By now, Wanda's mind is so dizzy from a good fuck that she doesn't even care if Agnes was able to hear anything.

Bulletproof
Tumblr media
Summary: You're the only Avenger who sleeps in a cell. | Series Masterlist
Word count: 2.9k+ | Tags: Mild Angst, Fluff, Sharing A Bed, Enemies to Lovers
Ship: Wanda Maximoff x Gender Neutral Reader
Requested by anon:
could i maybe request wanda x r where the whole team kinda mistreats them and wanda is especially bad. & r saving wanda on a mission, with this: wanda: “How'd you know you were bulletproof?" r: "I didn't. I just knew that you weren't."
Author's note: Thank you to the anon who requested this :) Not sure if this is exactly how you wanted it, but I had fun writing the battle (my first time!) Hope you don't mind I took some liberties ;) Takes place before Civil War.
--
“You don’t have to be so mean to them,” Natasha tells her.
Wanda's eyes narrow as she continues to fixate on you, her glare seemingly willing the daggers to find their mark. You can sense the energy of her powers tingling in the air, but she maintains control, stopping the daggers just short of their target.
“They need to know what they’re up against,” Wanda retorts, her accent slipping through in a rare moment. “If they’re going to be one of us, they have to prove themselves.”
Natasha moves to stand between you and Wanda, her body language calm but assertive. “They will, in time. But not like this.”
You can feel your heart pounding, but you refuse to let Wanda see any fear in your eyes. Your choice to leave your former life and join this team wasn't made lightly, and you won't be intimidated.
“I'm right here,” you say, stepping forward. “And I'm not going anywhere. If you want to test me, do it properly.”
Wanda smirks, and the daggers drop to the floor, clattering loudly in the silence. “Impressive,” she says, almost as an afterthought.
Steve Rogers, observing from the sidelines, steps in to defuse the situation. His authoritative presence commands respect, and his voice is steady and even. “That's enough for today. We're a team, and we need to start acting like one.”
He looks at you, his eyes filled with understanding but also a hint of caution. “However,” he continues, his tone shifting, “You'll still be sleeping in the cells.”
Your heart plummets, each word from Steve feeling like a blade to your chest. Being sent back to that room, devoid of windows, with only a tiny bed and a comforter too thin to ward off the chill, feels like a betrayal every time. You've spent nights there, shivering and reflecting on your decision to join this team, yet still, you find yourself confined.
“After several months of captivity, even cooking your dinner, you still don't trust me?” you ask, trying to keep the hurt out of your voice.
Steve's expression softens, but his resolve remains firm. “It's not about trust,” he says quietly, his voice carrying a weight of experience and pain. “We've been crossed so many times before, mostly by former HYDRA agents.”
Like you, he doesn’t need to say.
You understand the logic, but it doesn't make the reality any easier to swallow. The sense of being an outsider, the cold isolation of the cells—it wears on you.
Wanda, who had been silent up to this point, suddenly speaks up. “Maybe you should just leave then. If it's so unbearable, why stay?”
The room goes quiet.
A thousand retorts spring to your mind, but you swallow them down, unwilling to escalate the situation further. The temptation to throw back that it's rich coming from her, considering she's also a former footsoldier of HYDRA, is strong, but you bite your tongue.
You look at her, stunned by the bluntness of her suggestion, but also recognizing the challenge in her eyes.
Her words strike deeper than she may realize. Leaving isn't an option you've entertained, mainly because there's nowhere for you to go. No one left in your life to turn to. This makeshift “family” despite their reservation and distance, is all you have.
-
The days that follow are marked by a subtle but relentless isolation.
In the training room, Wanda's partnership becomes more aggressive than usual. Her powers lash out without warning, her critiques sharp and cutting. You hold your own, but the lack of camaraderie is palpable. Each comment she makes stings, and with every barb, you feel more and more alone.
At meal times, the rest of the Avengers seem to be in their own world, deep in conversation, sharing stories, laughing. You sit at the end of the table, your presence barely acknowledged, a shadow among them. Your attempts to join in are met with curt replies or indifference. You try to brush it off, believing that you should be used to rejection by now. But no matter how much you tell yourself that you're accustomed to it, that you've developed a thick skin, the pain is still there, raw and fresh.
Mission briefings are no better. Your opinions and insights are consistently overlooked. You contribute where you can, but your ideas are dismissed without consideration. You are a tool, a means to an end, not a part of the team. The realization gnaws at you, festering in the pit of your stomach.
Casual encounters with the team become equally disheartening. Tony passes you in the hallway without so much as a glance. Natasha avoids eye contact. Bruce mumbles something noncommittal when you try to engage him in conversation. Steve's assignments are devoid of the warmth or encouragement he shows to everyone else.
Your cell becomes a constant reminder of your status, metaphor for how the entire team treats you.
You’re both just a weapon and a first-aid kit at their disposal.
Wanda is relentless, her words sharp and her gaze cold. You have no idea why she treats you worse than any of them, why her manner towards you has turned so hostile. You don't understand why you get under her skin without even trying, why she seems to target you with a venom that feels deeply personal.
You were expecting that Wanda would be the one to understand what it feels like to be an outsider, given that you both share a common history as former HYDRA agents.
As the days turn into weeks, the isolation wears you down. The walls of your cell seem to close in, and a growing determination to prove yourself begins to take hold.
You'll show them all that you're more than just a disposable weapon.
But underlying that determination is a gnawing doubt, a fear that no matter what you do, it will never be enough to earn their respect, their trust, or their friendship. It's a lonely road, and for the first time, you begin to wonder if Wanda's earlier suggestion might hold some truth.
Perhaps it would be easier to leave.
-
It’s not like you know the extent of your abilities, but they bring you along the most dangerous missions for one thing:
Your healing ability.
On top of your martial arts training, you provide a sense of security to your teammates, knowing that you'll be there to heal them if they get hurt.
Now, you find yourself on one such mission, infiltrating a den of underground supers. These aren't ordinary criminals; they're mercenaries hired to carry out the dirty work of high-ranking government officials. It's a treacherous job, one filled with unknown risks, and you've been paired with Wanda for the operation.
As you and Wanda are attempting to escape, things take a turn for the worse. You find yourselves cornered in an alley, your escape route cut off by a group of armed thugs and a few individuals displaying unnerving superpowers.
Wanda takes on those with special abilities, her eyes glowing red as she unleashes her powers in a flurry of attacks. You, on the other hand, focus on the armed assailants, wielding two-handed pistols with expert precision. Bullets fly, and bodies fall as you both fight for your lives.
But in the midst of the chaos, you notice something that sends a chill down your spine. Snipers, perched on a nearby rooftop, taking aim at Wanda. Even with your healing abilities, you know that a precise shot to the head would be fatal.
“Wanda, get down!” you shout, but she's too engrossed in her battle to hear you. Your mind races, knowing that you have only seconds to act.
Without a second thought, you turn and run towards Wanda, your body moving on pure instinct. Bullets whiz by your ear, but you keep going, your focus solely on reaching her before it's too late.
You leap into the air, positioning yourself between Wanda and the snipers just as they pull the trigger.
You hear the distant release of the bullet, muted but deadly.
The world seems to slow down as you brace for the impact, only to feel the bullets bounce off your skin.
You land, unscathed, your mind reeling from the realization that you're bulletproof. But there's no time to dwell on it.
Wanda looks at you, her eyes wide with shock but also gratitude. “How did you–”
“No time!” you cut her off, urging her to keep fighting. “We have to get out of here!”
Wanda's eyes flare with a vivid scarlet as she zeroes in on the snipers in the vicinity. With a flourish of her hands, she uses her powers to locate each of their positions. A pulse of energy emanates from her fingertips, reaching out to the snipers' weapons, and within moments, the firearms disintegrate into dust, leaving the men defenseless.
Seeing an opening, you reach for Wanda's arm, your grip firm but not rough. There's no time to waste, and you start pulling her towards the exit, half running, half dragging her to safety. Her breath is warm on your neck, her body close to yours, as you weave through the maze of alleyways, your heart pounding in your chest.
Once you're at a safe distance, Wanda turns to you. “How'd you know you were bulletproof?”
“I didn't,” you admit, still in disbelief, and much to Wanda’s horror that you almost got yourself killed for her sake. “I just knew you weren't. And if those bullets got to you, I wouldn't be able to heal someone who's already dead.”
Wanda stares at you, her eyes searching your face as if she's trying to see something… deeper. Her lips part, like she wants to say something more, something that's just on the tip of her tongue but won't come out.
That's when you realize that you're still holding her arm, your bodies so close that you can feel her heartbeat. A flush of embarrassment washes over you as you become aware of the intimate proximity. Wanda clears her throat, a delicate, almost shy sound, and you immediately let go of her arm.
The silence that follows your sudden step back is heavy and awkward. You can't help but glance at the spot where your hand had been moments ago, still feeling the ghostly sensation of her arm beneath your fingers.
You look at Wanda, and she's looking back at you, her eyes wide and filled with something you can't quite name.
And then, without warning, Wanda starts to laugh.
It's a soft, bubbling sound at first, almost as if she's surprised by it herself. Her laughter grows, becoming louder and more contagious, and you can't help but stare at her, your mouth agape, wondering if she's lost her mind.
“What's so funny?” you finally manage to ask.
Wanda wipes a tear from her eye, still chuckling. “I was just thinking,” she says, her nose scrunching, something you haven’t seen on her and you find it quite… adorable. “You're like a shield now. As effective as Steve's vibranium one, maybe even more so.”
The absurdity of the statement causes you to finally join in her laugh, and your heart seems to flutter at the sound of Wanda's glee.
“I don't know about that,” you say, trying to sound modest but unable to keep the smile off your face. “Steve's shield has a bit more style.”
“Oh, I don't know,” Wanda teases, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “There's something quite stylish about being bulletproof. And practical too.”
Was that a compliment?
You shake your head, still smiling, your previous awkwardness forgotten. You're not only pleased at the first light banter you've shared with a teammate but also smiling at something else, something that stirs deep inside you and that you're not quite ready to confront.
Your crush on Wanda Maximoff.
-
The toll of the day's event is weighing down on you and Wanda, but like every mission, you're required to report the details of the mission–successful or not. Your muscles are sore, your mind is weary, but the mission was a success, and you can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment.
Arriving back at the Avengers compound, you follow Wanda into the debriefing room where Steve is waiting. Wanda explains what happened, how you discovered your newfound ability, and saved her life. Her voice is filled with respect and something more, something warmer, as she recounts your bravery.
Steve's face lights up with pride. “You both did well today. I'm proud of how you handled yourselves out there.”
You exchange a glance with Wanda, waiting for something more, perhaps some acknowledgment of your change in status within the team, or even an upgrade to your sleeping quarters. But instead, Steve simply nods, his face turning serious. “Dismissed.”
Wanda's face falls, and you feel a sharp pang of disappointment. You start to retreat towards your cell, the cold, windowless room that's been your home for months, but Wanda's voice stops you in your tracks.
“Wait a minute, Steve,” she protests. “After all that's happened, after all Y/N has done for us, don't you think it's time for a change? A real room, perhaps?”
Steve looks between you and Wanda. You hold your breath, hoping for a reprieve from the isolation you've been feeling.
Finally, Steve sighs, his face softening. “Wanda, if it were up to me, Y/N would have their own room already. But it's not that simple,” he explains, his voice strained. “I still need to place an official request with Tony. He's the one who approves these things.”
You can hear the frustration in Steve's voice, and you realize that he's fighting for you, in his own way.
“Fine,” Wanda says, crossing her arms. “But this needs to be done quickly, Steve. It's not right.”
“I agree. I'll talk to Tony first thing tomorrow.”
As you turn to leave and retreat back to your cell, Wanda's hand on your arm stops you, and you look back at her, surprised by the action.
“Come with me,” she says. Without another word, she leads you towards her quarters.
Your heart quickens at her words, and you follow her, trying to process what's happening.
Is she really inviting you to stay in her room?
Once inside her quarters, the reality of the situation sinks in, and a nervous tension takes hold. Her room is filled with personal touches–little trinkets, photographs, her clothes all over the place–that provide glimpses into a life you've only seen from a distance. You feel like an intruder, momentarily paralyzed as you take in the intimacy of her space.
Wanda seems to pick up on your hesitation, her eyes narrowing as she studies you. A smirk plays on her lips as she teases, “Don't look so terrified. I won't bite.”
You chuckle at her remark. “Well, that's a relief.”
Wanda's eyes sparkle with amusement, and she moves further into the room, gesturing for you to follow. “Make yourself at home,” she says. She then goes to the closet and begins to pull out a spare pillow and blanket. “You'll be staying here with me until we sort out a room for you,” she says.
“Thanks, Wanda,” you say softly.
Without further comment, you move to make your bed on the floor, your movements deliberate and slow as you try to give her space and respect her privacy.
“What are you doing?” Wanda asks, her eyes widening as she realizes your intention.
“I'm just getting ready to sleep,” you explain, feeling slightly embarrassed. “I'm quite tired.”
“No, what are you doing on the floor?” she clarifies, a hint of disbelief in her voice. “You're sharing the bed with me.”
“I wouldn't want to impose,” you say, though the offer is tempting.
“You're not imposing,” Wanda assures you, her eyes sincere. “You've earned a proper bed, and I trust you.”
The word 'trust' hits you like a wave, and you feel tears pricking at the back of your eyes.
Blinking them back, your voice cracks a little as you reply, “Thank you, Wanda. That means more to me than you know.”
“Good night, Y/N,” Wanda whispers, turning on her side to face you.
“Good night, Wanda,” you say, just as softly.
You both settle on the bed, and with a flick of her wrist, Wanda uses her powers to switch off the light.
The softness of Wanda's bed is worlds away from the harsh, unforgiving mattress in your cell. You find yourself sinking into the plush comfort, every muscle in your body releasing the tension from the dangerous mission earlier. The scent of Wanda on the pillows only adds to the incomparable comfort they provide. The difference is staggering, and it contributes to you falling asleep much more quickly than you have in a long time.
In the middle of the night, you're stirred awake by the feeling of Wanda rolling closer to you. Her arm finds its way over your stomach, and her soft snores fill the room. Being ever alert, the small action wakes you, but as soon as you realize it's just Wanda, a smile forms on your face.
You lie there for a moment, taking in the warmth and the gentle pressure of her hand. A soft blush creeps up your cheeks as you place your hand over hers to keep it there.
You've become more than just teammates.
You've become friends.
And maybe, just maybe, something more.

“Come on detka. It won’t be that bad.” Nat muttered into your ear as she held you from behind as you stared at your form in the mirror, her arms wrapped around your waist gently. “It’ll be a couple of hours then we can come up here and cuddle okay?”
You hummed looking up, meeting her eyes through the mirror. At the moment, all you wanted was to rip away from Natasha, strip down, put on some safe comfy clothes and burrow into your special duvet however you nodded, putting a small smile on your face. “Okay Natty…”
She released your waist, one hand dragging down to capture your hand gently and tug you away from the mirror. You pulled your hand back, a normal motion for you. The girls didn’t know why but sometimes being touched made your skin crawl however they never questioned it much. You fidgeted with your top as you followed your girlfriend out to meet up with Wanda.
“You two finally ready?” She mused turning around to look at the two of you. Her face turned from a smirk to a loving smile. “You two look amazing…”
“You look great too detka.” Nat said placing a soft kiss on Wanda’s cheek before the two of them turned to face you, your hands fidgeting with your shirt again. Each of them placed a chaste kiss on your cheeks before the three of you made your way down to the party.
The music was loud as Natasha pushed the door open, revealing a throng of people dancing around, milling around the bar and sprawled out on the multiple couches chatting. Going in there seemed like the worst idea however, you had gone this long without anyone finding out as you managed to avoid any parties that Tony had thrown. Your brain instantly started to scream however you put your mask on and followed the two in front of you to the bar where they both ordered a drink before turning to you.
“What do you want malysh?” Wanda asked placing her hand on the small of your back, bringing you back to the present. Your eyes glanced over to Natasha who had concern swimming in her green eyes. “Do you want me or Natty to order for you?” She mumbled into your ear. You nodded softly, one hand going up to fidget with your necklace.
After ordering your drink and receiving the three of them, the three of you made your way over to the couches where all your friends were sitting.
You sat silently between the two girls as they all chatted. Your body stopping you from talking, earning you a few glances from your concerned friends, glances you brushed off with a small excuse of being tired.
After a couple of hours, your mask had started to slip and your could feel overstimulation take over. Your hair being in your face was causing you to constantly push it behind your ears. The clothes you were wearing were too tight, the shoes pinching your toes, your makeup felt like it was burning your skin. The music suddenly felt like the sound of nails on a chalkboard. the throbbing lights causing a migraine to start forming behind your eyes.
You started to feel your fuse grow shorter and unfortunately it was Natasha that received your final snap.
“Oh my god Natasha. Just fuck off!!” You screamed, your whole body freezing as soon as you realized what happened. Natasha turned to you with wide eyes, confusion running over her face. “Detka…?”
Your head whipped around to face a mad Wanda. “Y/N! Natasha did nothing wrong! What is wrong with you?! You’ve been nothing but stand off ish all night! She was checking to see if you were okay!” You could feel electricity running through your veins so you stood and bolted out of the party, ignoring all the people trying to bring you back with tears now streaming down your face.
You pushed the door to the staircase open and bolted up to the living floor where you flung your old bedroom door open and closed it behind you. After some digging through your drawers, you found some old safe clothes and peeled the fancy clothes off pulling on the cotton material. You flicked the small light off and burrowed into your weighted blanket after whispering for Friday to sound proof your room and unplugging all the electronics. It couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes before you heard a soft knock on your door and you let out a soft whimper.
The sound shattering the hearts of the two women outside your door. Natasha pulled Wanda a little farther from your door. “Autism.” She muttered causing the witch to look at her in confusion. “She’s got all the signs. I don’t know how we’ve never noticed it before. It explains why she exploded.” Wanda’s heart shattered again taking a glance at your door.
“I snapped at her… what do we do?” She asked softly looking back at the assassin who wiped the tears off the brunettes cheeks.
“We put on some cotton clothes, grab her little stuffed animal and her other comfort items and go check on her. She may not want us to touch her and that’s okay but she needs to know we’re here to support her okay?” The redhead said with a soft smile at the witch before the two rushed off to their room.
Your heart felt shattered as your brain played Wanda’s little rant at you over and over again. You had messed up and now she hated you. You knew eventually your autism would ruin it for you. It always did. It’s the reason your parents gave you up and you never found a forever home, dealing with the shit side of the foster system. You hid it from the team over the last 3 years, the fear of being a burden to strong to tell them.
You were once again snapped out of your thoughts with a soft knock on your door. You didn’t respond but the door opened anyways letting in some light causing you to whimper, pulling the cover over your head blocking it out. You heard two sets of footsteps and the door closing before pulling your head out of your blanket to see a sheepish Wanda and a concerned looking Natasha holding all your comfort items.
“Im so sorry detka… i shouldn’t have snapped at you…” She muttered placing your bear in your arms before taking a step back, your hand instantly reaching out towards her and your other girlfriend making grabby hands. “Do you want us to hold you malyshka? It won’t be too much?”
You shook your head. “Pressure…” Your voice came out shaky and almost silent. Both girls climbed into bed with you, you settling your head on Wanda’s chest, Natasha spooning you from behind.
It took around 40 minutes for you to finally feel okay to talk. “Im sorry… I-I-I… I didn’t mean to be a burden… I tried so hard to be normal… but I can’t…”
“And you don’t have to love. You are NOT a burden and anyone who ever called you that is wrong. You are you and that is beautiful.” Natasha muttered pressing soft kisses to your head.
“We love who you are no matter what you think. Your autism doesn’t change that detka. Being “normal” isn’t real sweetheart. Your differences are what makes you exactly what you need to be. Understand me?” Wanda said softly into your hair.
You sniffled and nodded softly in her shirt. Both women pressing kisses into your hair is what you fell asleep to that night.
The next morning, you woke up buried into your two girlfriends who were talking quietly. “Morning sleepyhead…” Wanda said looking down at you, you just tucking into her neck again with a soft whine. “How are you feeling?”
“Better but still tired…” You murmured. “I’m sorry again… i should have been honest with you but… i don’t want to lose you…”
“None of that. We aren’t going anywhere baby. Nothing will change that. Understand?” You nodded into the witches neck receiving soft kisses. “I can’t imagine how bad it was last night but you never have to go to one of those parties again okay?”
“I can go just not for that long… I have to learn my limits…” You said glancing up at Natasha who smiled softly.
“We will help you with that baby.” She said tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “Because we’re always with you.”

Happy New Year
Tumblr media
Elizabeth Olsen x Reader
Happy New Year guys! I rushed this one, but wanted to get something out before the year ends. Hope you enjoy!
You were sitting by the bar, nursing your drink, observing everyone dancing around you.
“Guessing you’re not a party person?”
Swiveling your seat around, you’re met with the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen.
“Really good guess. What about you?”
“Same as you.”
“Name’s Y/N by the way.”
“Lizzie.”
“Oh, I know. Just didn’t want to fangirl, but I do appreciate your work.”
“Thank you. I appreciate it.”
Both of you talk for a while, conversations flowing easily, almost like you’ve known each other longer.
You stand up from your seat, holding a hand out to Lizzie.
“Come on. We’re bored out of our minds here.”
She grabs your hand, intertwining your fingers.
“Where are we going?”
“No clue.”
Walking out of the host’s house, you walk around the neighborhood in a comfortable silence, surprised that Lizzie hasn’t let go of your hand.
“Any of your friends gonna be looking for you?” You asked her, slightly swinging your intertwined arms.
“No. I’m pretty sure they’re all waisted making out with some random people. I didn’t want to come in the first place, but they kinda forced me to come.”
You nod. “Same with my friends. I was in a long term relationship that ended couple months back. It was mutual, so they thought that I needed to go out more and not lock myself at home.”
“I got divorced. Found him and some chick doing it on our bed. I probably have slept in the bed after them without knowing too which is fucking disgusting.”
“That’s an ass thing to do. I never understood people who cheat, especially those who cheat on people who are beautiful and way out of their league.”
You were looking around so you weren’t able to see the red tint form on Lizzie’s cheeks.
After walking around, hands still clasped together, you both have made it to a park. It was dark out, the stars can be seen shining brightly.
“Maybe after today, if you’d let me, I would love to take you out on a date.” You said, breaking the silence. You see a smile form on her face, almost reaching to her eyes. She wraps her arms around your neck and you wrap yours around her waist, pulling her close.
“I would love that.” You see her glancing from your eyes to your lips, you doing the same. She finally grabs the back of your neck, placing her lips on yours, you quickly reciprocating. Fireworks explode around you, surprising and breaking you apart, laughing. “Happy New Year.” She mumbles against your lips.
“Happy new year indeed.”

Cupcakes For My Cupcake (E.O)
Elizabeth Olsen x Short!Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Pairing: Elizabeth Olsen x Fem!Reader
Summary: Everybody calls Lizzie "The Y/n whisperer" for a reason or maybe two.
Warning: None, I think. Just a little teasing about height. But mainly FLUFF.
Requested: Yes.
A/N: Hello! I'm glad to say that I finally got some requests done and this is one of them. Thank you @honey-sweet-hiraeth for helping me brainstorming and picked the title. I was dealing with ear pain and couldn't think of any title.. lol. Also, this wasn't proofread well. Anyway, happy reading! I have another Lizzie fic coming. Enjoy!
“Cut!” Anthony, one of the directors exclaimed and the filming of a part of a scene stopped instantly. All the cast who are in this scene turn their head to him. “Uh, okay, Y/n, maybe we should try to move you somewhere else. I can barely see you from any angle if you are next to Hemsworth. It looks like you are gone completely when you stand next to him.” Anthony expresses his thoughts as he crosses his arms in front of his chest. His thinking face looks so obvious.
“Aww, come on y/n. Don’t be shy and hide behind me.” The Australian actor pitches a joke in a sing-song tone. You laugh. “I wasn’t hiding, it’s just your muscles are too bulky and taking my spot here.” Everybody laughs. It was a playful sarcasm but they found it funny.
Being 5 feet tall has its own pros and cons. People always think you are adorable. It’s not hard to find clothes your size and other perks. The cons? Well, of course they are no fun. Despite being called adorable sometimes makes you feel nice if it’s in certain circumstances by certain people. You are definitely not immune to some or perhaps lots of jokes about how short you are. Families and friends casually poking fun about it and you are used to it. Sometimes you play along but sometimes you don’t. And when you don't, they never take your retorts or feisty come back personally. They all love you.
For working situations, as an actress, it hasn’t been really an obstacle for you to get a role. Surprisingly, you got some projects with Marvel. It's no secret that your height has been a little something extra for the director to figure out especially on camera angles because your friends a.k.a other marvel casts are taller than you. Sometimes the directors think you are “drowning” when you are surrounded by them
Since you joined Marvel, you have officially taken Scarlett’s title as the shortest Marvel’s cast and she is pretty much happy about it because now, she is not the target for all those height jokes anymore. You are.
Today’s filming has been a little challenging for you. If you can be honest, you are tired and the jet lag from the time difference of different filming locations doesn’t help at all. You were excited when you woke up to go to work but then your mood descended as soon as you found out that Lizzie is not scheduled for today’s filming. Your friendship with her has been very close and inseparable. She is your favorite person you met through Marvel.
“How about if she stands next to Benedict?” Joe proposes his idea. “Yeah, we can try that.” Anthony agrees.
You follow their instructions to move next to the British actor and restart the scene filming. You understand that this is about your height but this time it agitates you a little, not to them but to your own shortself. You thought the angle problem had been solved this time but you were wrong.
“Cut! No, it still doesn’t work well. How about next to Mark? No. We can’t put her next to him either because of the Hulk visual effect.” Joe mumbles her thoughts.
“Maybe we should lift her up a bit with the invisible wire, put a little visual effect so she will look a little taller.” Benedict’s heavy voice and thick accent cover another teasing comment and this time you let out a fake bitter laugh but everybody’s laughter sounds really spontaneous. “Don’t mess with a short girl, Benedict. With wires or not, I still can kick your ass.”
"Ouh, you better be careful, Benedict. Don’t piss the little one off, you won’t be able to see where shorty goes and before you know it, you’ll get your ass kicked. " Another one of the cast, Josh Brolin, adds a remark, joining in with the other joking around. This time you only patch a quick smile and reply “Okay, purple giant. I guess, thanks?” Josh laughs at your snarky response.
“Y/n, how about standing on Jer's left? I think that would be the best. Sorry, y/n.” Anthony requests and he notices how tired you look and having a mood swing but he understands and even kindly apologizes to you.
Your stomach growls but not loud enough for anybody to hear. You are starving because you didn't get the chance to have breakfast. “Yeah sure. No problem.” You agree without hesitation and move again. Then they ask you to wait for them to check the view from different angles.
“Don’t worry, y/n. We all know that you are vertically challenged, we’ll figure out the best angle so fans will see you in this scene.” One of the camera crews pointed out more as he laughed with others and that was it. You are on your limit on being bombarded with endless height jokes.
“Well, I believe that making fun of the short girl really IS the best way to let out everyone know you are compensating for a ‘sizeably’ challenged dick.” Just like that you blew up a little and you made the air quote. “Oooohhhhh burn!” everybody reacts in unison at your reply to him.
“Dang! Y/n! Mic drop.” Anthony Mackie was genuinely surprised by your words and a few seconds after that everybody laughed along with the guy that you addressed your frustration just now.
“You know what? I’m sorry, I need a few minutes.” With that, you walk off the set to your trailer.
“Uh-oh. She is pissed.” Jeremy comments as he watches you walk away. “Of course, she is. It was like one after another of jokes you guys threw at her. Poor y/n. She’s not in the mood today.” Scarlett finally breaks her silence.
“Oh yeah, shit. How couldn’t we notice that? Lizzie’s not here today. I guess we kinda forgot the line with the jokes.” The god of thunder actor points out his realization.
“So, should we call the ‘Y’n whisperer’ to make her feel better? Lizzie has been the only one who can calm her down or cheer her up.” Mackie lets out the first solution that came up in his mind.
“It’s Lizzie’s day off, we can’t call her for that.” Chris Evans disagrees. “Well, just let her take her time a little bit. We all can take a break. It’s almost lunch time anyway.” The directors announced.
Little do everybody know, Scarlett stepped aside and reached her phone to call Lizzie but she got no answer. A minute later Lizzie walks in with her hands full. The security guards help her to bring some more stuff in.
“Hi everybody! I cooked some food for lunch. Come and get it!” She greets as she puts on the tables where the food usually is. The casts right away greet her and go to the table to have lunch together.
One by one they thank Lizzie for the food. “Where is Y/n?” It was the first question that jumped out of Lizzie’s lips as her eyes searched for her while she set the food.
“Y/n walked off the set. The boys pissed her off.” Scarlett answers quickly. “Aww, did you guys joke around about her height again?” Lizzie guessed with a knowing look.
“Not me. It was Hemsworth, Benedict, Josh and one of the camera crew, I forgot his name.” Jeremy denies and casually tells Lizzie who did it with a little laugh. “But she gave a great come back to him though. It was awesome and she was feisty!” Mackie proudly tells Lizzie about you while he scoops some food to his plate.
“And she called Josh ‘purple giant, don’t forget that’.” RDJ slips in a comment and they all laugh. “Well, she is probably tired and hungry. I made her favorite food so I’m gonna find her and talk to her.” Lizzie casually speaks and grabs one brown paper bag that was separated from others. With a smile, she walks away to find you.
_____
You heard a knock on your trailer door. “I’ll be on the set in a few minutes.” You subtly refuse to open the door to whoever it is behind the door.
“Y/n, it’s me. Let me in, please. I cooked your favorite food.” Oh that voice feels like rain on a desert. It soothes you and lifts up your spirit. Your favorite person comes to surprise you. You quickly opened the door and a wide smile welcomed her. “Lizzie!” You open your arms inviting her into your hug.
“Hey you, grumpy Gus. Whatcha doin here?” Lizzie jokingly greets you and hugs you tight and rubs your back then walks in. “Oh, nothing. Just need a little break.” You smile awkwardly then close your door and back to your chair.
Lizzie puts the paper bag on the table and takes a seat face to face with you. “I heard what happened.” She starts the conversation and grabs your hand tenderly. Her thumb delicately rubs the back of your hand, making your heart leap.
In a millisecond, you are not upset anymore. You feel better. “Yeah, I didn’t mean to be a bitch about it. You know me, I usually don’t mind their jokes about me being short. I was just not in the mood I guess.” You try to keep your cool in front of her while explaining to her.
“I know, y/n. You are tired and hungry. Also, you miss me aaand my cooking." She scrunches her nose and confidently shows you how well she knows you and followed by a little laugh as her sparkling green eyes look at you.
"Yes, yes and no." You tease her by your pretend disagreement that you miss her and your cooking. She was right, you miss her. That's what trigger your mood swing in the first place.
"Ooh?? Okaaay. I see how it is now. You don't miss me and my cooking? Alright then, I will go right now and take this with me." Lizzie cutely plays along with your joke and pretends that she is leaving with the bag she brought.
"No..no..no.. Wait.. wait.. I was just kidding. Yes, I miss you and your cooking.. Happy now?" You admit it in defeat and giggle as you grab her hand. She turns around. You hear her laughing and saying " Yes, I am. You know me, I love it when I'm right." She gently taps your nose with the tip of her finger followed by her adorable giggle.
"Now, where is my food?" You ask as you rub both of your palms excitedly.
"Well, it's on the table where we usually eat. Everybody is eating now but I also made this special for you." She slides the small brown paper bag to you.
"Really? Special for me?? Sweet!!" You quickly open the bag and pull out a box of it like a little kid on Christmas morning. Her warm forest green eyes are drinking the view in awe. Cherishing every second she has with you.
"Cupcakes for my cupcake." She said, her eyes sparkling with adoration and love. She always loves seeing your excitement every time she makes something for you.
"Chocolate cupcake!!" You exclaimed with an ear to ear smile.
"Uh-huh. With Scarlet Witch red frosting too. Since you like her so much." She points it out in a proud tone.
"Yes, I like her so much but I love the actress that plays her." You casually speak as your finger takes a little of the frosting and you taste it. You hum in such enjoyment with your eyes closed.
You and Lizzie are really close friends. Both of you sometimes casually express how much you love each other or compliment each other and even tease each other.
"Gosh, I love everything you cook and bake. They are always so delicious." You compliment with a satisfied sigh.
"Don't tell the others that I brought you these cupcakes because I only made them for you." She giggles. "Oh, wow. I'm that special. I'm honored, Liz."
"Of course you are." Lizzie leans and gives one quick soft kiss on your cheek before she stands up. You died a little inside with happiness for a few seconds. The feeling of her lips brushing your cheek makes your lungs forget what oxygen is.
"You are my favorite short girl, remember?" She jokingly pats your head.
"Well, special for you, you can call me short or joke about my height anytime you want. I don't mind." You voluntarily propose the idea.
She laughs louder and the sound of it makes your brain turn into a puddle. "I know, honey. Now, let's go have lunch. Everybody's waiting for us." She grabs your hand and leads you out of your trail.
_____
“Y/n! You are back! Come here, have lunch with us!” Scarlet welcomes you in such a thrill. “Well, look who’s back!” Jeremy gives the same excited tone as Scarlet did.
“See! I told you! Lizzie, the ‘Y/n whisperer’ ! I was right. Only Lizzie can cheer Little Miss Grumpy back and bring her here.” Pride sounds clear in Mackie’s tone.
“Hi guys! I’m back!” You greeted them with a cheerful tone, totally opposite from how you were earlier.
“Come sit here” Hemsworth’s heavy voice chimes in as he points at two empty chairs between him and Benedict. You take your seat. “Y/n, we are sorry if our jokes crossed the line.” The man with the red cloak apologizes on behalf of everybody.
“Oh no. It’s okay. I’m sorry too that I was a little over reacting.” You stated.
“A little? You were a total drama queen earlier.” Mackie blurted out playfully. You know he was joking. “Well, an adorable short drama queen.” The buff blonde man wraps his arms around your shoulders close to him in a brotherly manner. You gotta admit that what Mackie and Hemsworth said were funny.
“Okay, y/n. Here, I already prepared a plate for you from home.” The brunette lays the plate of food in front of you. You thank her and instantly take a bite of it.
"Oh my god. My favorite..So good.." another praise comes out of your lips as you eat. You even dance a little from how delicious it tastes.
"Wait, Y/n got a special prepared plate? Wow. You both need to date, seriously." The archer cast finally vocalized what everybody has been thinking.
You choke a little from the comment and grab a drink right away. You look at Lizzie, she doesn't say anything but all smiling complete with blushing cheeks.
"What–uh what did you mean?" You clear your throat nervously as you stutter with your question.
“Oh please y/n. You know what he meant. We all know you both are VERY close." Scarlett stated with a knowing smile.
"Yeah, like Mackie said, Lizzie is the only one that can cheer you up whenever you are not in the mood. Everytime Lizzie comes to the set or any event, you are the first person that she will ask or look for." RDJ adds more facts to back Scarlet up.
"Well, look at you now. Just from eating what Lizzie cooked, you are a completely different person now, all smiling and dancing. Earlier you were a feisty little woman." Chris Evans laughed out loud with his hands on his chest as soon as he finished talking.
"And, Lizzie here keeps smiling. Not saying a word says a lot about this, darling" The tall British guy takes his turn pitching in his opinion. As Lizzie sits between him and you.
You look at her, and Benedict was right. Lizzie is all smiling yet not saying even a word, you start to think if she agrees with everybody that you both need to date. Does it mean she likes you?
You have been having a crush on her for a little while now. You don't know what to do because you are worried it will change your friendship. Also, you think that there is no way the goddess of beauty herself will like you back more than as a friend.
You try your luck to find out by playing along with them and joke "Well, maybe if she'd ask me out we would be dating already." You try your best to look as if you're joking but deep down you were actually serious about it. That's actually the thought you have been thinking every time you have a "what if Lizzie.." thinking session by yourself.
"Oooohhhhh" the cast exclaimed all at once, very thrilled. “The truth has come out!” Hemsworth exclaimed as he raised his hand up as if he just won something.
Lizzie finally hinted in a subtle way the truth from her side. “Y/n, you’re already coming over for movie night, tonight. I’ll order take out and we can cuddle on the couch and call it a date.” She innocently smiles, glances at you and then takes another bite of her food.
“It’s a date!!” Mackie shouted in elation. Without a doubt, the others cheer.
Meanwhile, you marveled at what Lizzie said and how she nonchalantly addressed it. A pat she gives you on your shoulder brought you back from your daze. “You okay?” Her gaze really lifted your mood and calmed you down. It felt like a caffeine buzz and sedative at the same time.
“Y-yeah. I’m okay.” Once again, you stutter. You got a warm, fuzzy feeling.
After lunch, everybody walks back to the set and you are the last one at the table. “Well, Liz, I gotta go back to the set. Thank you for the lunch and the cupcake. I love it. You made my day.”
“You’re welcome. I’ll see you tonight for our first date.” Excitement raced through her. She glows inside. You feel drunk in happiness as you get another kiss on your cheek before you walk away.
You felt giddy and couldn't stop smiling. Tonight, you will have your first date with the woman who always has her way to your heart.
A/n: Well, that's it for today. I hope you enjoy the fluff! I'm in the mood of fluff writing, so you'll see more fluff coming. Reblog and comment are highly appreciated! Follow me for more. See you!
Cheerio!

...
Growing up, you never truly dated anyone. Sure, you had crushes on fictional characters in the media you consumed, and you allotted arguably too much time to admiring celebrities online; but, you never saw anyone in your personal life in such a light. At various hangouts and sleepovers over the years, you noticed just how much your friends discussed their love lives. Hushed whispers and sighs of the same phrase, “I really like them,” flooded your ears in the hallways at school. You had originally tried to join in on the conversations, not wanting to be excluded, but you simply couldn't engage in them wholeheartedly; eventually, the inability to relate began to upset you. You naturally boiled it down to something that must have been wrong with you — how could it possibly be normal to be like this when everyone else around you seemed to share these romantic sentiments?
Thankfully, you became completely preoccupied, both mentally and physically, by the prospect of university. By the time your junior year of high school had started, your love life — or lack thereof — no longer held too much importance to you. Instead of keeping whimsical love letters on your desk like others your age did, you opted to pile various books. From Camus to Aristotle, you discovered a deep fascination and affinity to the field of philosophy and the metaphysical discussions it posed. Therefore, when your senior year had arrived, you threw yourself head first into your studies, determined to build up your application in order to get into a top university.
After accepting your offer into one of the best philosophy programs in the nation, you anticipated your time at university, daydreaming about all of the things you would study and all of the people you would meet there.
But never could you have anticipated someone like Wanda Maximoff.
You had met her during one of your introductory courses in your first semester. Wanda was the type of person that, upon first glance, you would be scared. Not just because she was undeniably pretty, but she also had this stone cold exterior to her. Her lips were permanently etched into a slight frown, and she never really showed too much expression while she spoke during class. To put it simply, she intimidated you; so, you settled on admiring the brunette from afar (two seats up, one to the left — if you were to be specific).
Your plans changed, however, after the two of you got assigned to be partners for a class project. It was just a presentation, but it required you both to meet outside of class to work on it. You would be a liar if you said your heart didn't skip a beat at the thought of seeing Wanda outside of these four walls of your classroom, even if it was just to work on this assignment.
Seemingly unbothered by it all, she gave you her number for you to set up a date and time to meet. Her messages were all business, but they still made you feel like a dopey teenager every time her name showed up on your screen.
The day quickly came for you both to work on the presentation. Ultimately, you had settled on the two of you meeting in your dorm, which you made sure to deep clean before she came. You were not necessarily messy by any means, but the idea of Wanda, the most daunting person you could imagine, stepping into the safe space of your room made your blood run cold for some reason.
As Wanda knocked on your door, you rushed to open it. The two of you stood face to face for a moment, divided only by the doorframe. She still had her typical frown, but you noticed it shift into the slight uptick of a smirk. After a moment had passed, she finally broke the silence. "Are you gonna let me in, or...?" she asked, teasing you and your awkward nature.
Your cheeks flushed in embarrassment as you stepped aside for her to enter, "Oh, right... Sorry."
You led her to your side of the room, where she stood for a moment analyzing all of your possessions. You felt small as she did so, like a tiny insect under a bright, unsettling microscope.
She suddenly turned to face you, dropping her bag on the floor, "So, are we gonna work on this or not?"
That is how you found yourself on the floor, her laying on her back and you on your stomach. You had your computer in front of you, typing furiously as she provided you the words and ideas. You glanced over at her every now and then, especially if she was being awfully silent.
Most times, she would just be looking up at the ceiling in thought, her brown hair sprawled in random patterns underneath her; however, after a particularly long bought of silence, you looked over at her to find her gaze directly on you. You quickly returned your eyes to the screen of your computer and began typing whatever came to your mind. You hoped she did not notice the blush rise to your face.
She did.
She sighed, turning her body to lay completely facing you. "You're very quiet, you know," she stated, closely observing your reactions highlighted by the light of your screen.
Unsure of how to respond, you simply say, "So I've been told."
"Oh," she exclaimed, her smirk from earlier returns. "She has jokes."
You hum in agreement, "Just a few, unfortunately."
With the project now finished, the two of you abandoned it in favor of simply talking to each other. Never would you have guessed that Wanda could be this... warm. Unlike what you had witnessed in the classroom, she was very friendly and sarcastic in the privacy of your dorm.
You discovered a lot of information about the brunette during this conversation, such as how she loved coffee but only if its iced, how she never loved texting (preferring to call or talk in-person) but will do so if she must, how she immigrated with her twin brother from Sokovia when they were children. As she recounted her memories from Sokovia, you could hear the accent she once had poking through the surface; although, you did not point it out, afraid it was an insecurity of hers. Maybe you would tell her another time how nice it sounded, but for now, you bonded with her about collecting CDs and vinyl records from various artists.
While the two of you casually spoke, all you could think about was her — how pretty she was under the dimmed lighting of your dorm, how every joke she told was the epitome of humor, how much you wanted to stay in this moment with her. She was perfect.
Is this what people were talking about in high school?
As the night came to an inevitable end, you found yourself feeling quite sad, for you no longer had an excuse to hang out with Wanda. Though she had her number, you did not have the confidence to use it and ask if she wanted to meet up again.
You did not have to worry too much about it. As she packed her belongings back into her bag, swinging it over her shoulder, she spoke, "You know, you're pretty cool, Y/N."
You tried to hide the shock caused by her words, "Thank you, I think?"
She chuckled lowly, "My friends are having this thing at my place this weekend, if you wanted to join?"
Your head perked up, eyes blinking rapidly in shock. Unable to deny her offer, you nodded, "Yeah, sure... okay."
“Great,” she replied, walking toward your door. You followed behind her and reached around to open for her. She smiled at the gesture before speaking again, “I’ll text you later with the details and everything. See you in class.”
“Yeah, see you,” you returned. As you closed door behind her, you feel your mind finally catch up to reality: you, the stereotype of a nerd with very few friends, are going to hang out with Wanda and her friends.
You close your eyes, leaning your head onto the back of the door. “Oh, shit,” you whisper aloud into the open air. What have you just gotten yourself into?
Decoding your own thoughts and feelings about the Sokovian in the days leading up to your next class had revealed just how infatuated you had become; yet, you didn't even know how to act upon them. For years, you had only observed romantic behaviors from the outside looking in, whether it be through your friends' dating experiences or the words on a page from whichever sapphic novel you had picked to read. Now that you finally found yourself in the loop, what were you supposed to do?
Should you message her about whatever? No, that would come across as needy and overbearing.
What if you found her after class and ask to hang out again? No, that's even more overbearing than the text message.
The internal war waged on, resulting in your mind and body being paralyzed out of anxiety. For now, you have settled on simply waiting for her message regarding this weekend and presenting your assignment with her this week during class.
Days later, you walked into the class, practically shaking from your nerves about the presentation and the girl that you had to present with (who had just so happened to become your first teenage crush over the span of weeks).
You sat down in your unofficially assigned seat. Being so focused on the way your leg bounced repeatedly, you failed to notice the familiar brunette enter the classroom. Instead of sitting in her typical seat, however, she dropped her bag on the floor by the seat directly next to you.
Wanda instantly noted your nervous demeanor. While she had her own anxieties regarding the presentation and such, hers remained within her mind. She never showed such things outwardly, unless she was with someone with who she felt undeniably comfortable expressing those thoughts.
She slid into the seat and reached over to place her hand on your bouncing leg. Immediately, you noticed the feeling of someone's hand, breaking the chain of your anxious thoughts; upon glancing to your side, you discovered the culprit: Wanda.
"Hey," she started. "Everything is going to be fine, I promise."
Unable to find the words currently, you opted to remain silent, but you provide her with a uncertain nod in return. With a squeeze of her hand as a final attempt at reassurance, she placed her hand back within her lap and waited for the class to begin.
As always, Wanda was right. Your presentation went well; there were a few instances of stumbling words on your part, but otherwise it went great.
When the two of you returned to your seats, she leaned over and muttered under her breath for you to hear, "Told you so."
As you began to do your typical nighttime routine that evening, you heard your phone go off. Unsuspecting to who it was, you tapped on the screen under the assumption that it was just another email added to your overflowing inbox. You were wrong yet again.
Wanda: hey y/n !! are you still able to make it to the thing this weekend?? its gonna be on saturday at my place... lmk !!
You stared at the message for a moment before confirming you would still be in attendance, of course. Was it normal for your heart rate to speed up this much from mere words on a screen?
Saturday night rolled around quicker than you had anticipated. It was almost time to leave, yet you were currently standing still in your pajamas, surrounded by the miscellaneous clothing items you had thrown around. Ultimately, you had settled on the outfit you had first chosen, resulting in a bunch of unnecessary cleaning afterwards.
When you arrived to her place, you promptly knocked on the door. A moment passed before the door creaked open to reveal the Sokovian. Her outfit was considerably more casual than others you had seen her wear around campus. She stood in front of you, adorned with an oversized band tee and jeans; her fingers were still littered with her usual assortment of rings. However, the thing that surprised you the most was her lack of makeup. Not that she needed it, of course; in fact, it was quite the opposite. Tonight she seemed to have abandoned her typical heavy eyeliner and rose-colored shade of lipstick, choosing to only use her mascara and some chapstick.
"Sorry for the jumpscare," Wanda joked, her nose scrunched in amusement from your reaction. She continued to explain, "I know I'm dressed down compared to class. I just don't like putting in the effort to get ready sometimes, especially to just hang out with friends."
"No!" you exclaimed, quickly trying to backtrack the way she took your shocked expression. "No, you're fine. You're beautiful, actually, I just- I was just surprised to see you without the eyeliner and all."
Her cheeks became flushed at the compliment, but you seemed to miss it being overly concerned with your own response. She chuckled at your awkwardness, "Thanks. Oh, you can come in, by the way. I think everyone is here now."
She introduced you to each friend, after which you gave an insecure wave in return.
As the night progressed, you gradually loosened up. Whether it was time or the alcohol in your bloodstream, it frankly did not matter to you. You were not drunk by any means but definitely buzzed enough to not worry about every single decision you made. You even talked to one of Wanda's friends, Natasha, for awhile without the Sokovian present (given that she had left to use the restroom, but it still counts in your mind).
Suddenly, you were sat on the floor, playing childish party games with the others. It was fun, you couldn't lie... until it wasn't. You had already survived Truth or Dare, but someone (Tony) had suggested Spin the Bottle. With no romantic history, it was practically a given that you subsequently had not kissed anyone yet. For your first kiss to be during a stupid game of Spin the Bottle would be depressing; but, you didn't want to be the loser who said no to playing because the reason would be too humiliating to explain.
So, you elected to power through the hesitation, hoping the bottle just would not land on you.
At first, you were confident. The game was now three rounds in, and you remained lucky.
Eventually, the group had noted your lack of participation and had chosen to give you a "free spin." You silently prayed it would at least land on someone with whom you had become somewhat acquainted. With a shaky hand, you reached forward, spinning the emptied beer bottle. In the moment, it felt like the bottle would never stop spinning, but, once it did, it felt like time froze altogether.
It landed on Wanda.
Though you liked the brunette, you truly did not want your first kiss to be this way, especially with her.
She instantly noticed your apprehension. Turning to where Tony sat in the circle, she offered, "Hey, what if we did a hybrid of this and Seven Minutes in Heaven?"
Your eyes widened at the question, feeling unsure about all of this.
With a smirk on his face, Tony agreed, "I like the way you think, Maximoff. Alright, new girl, go follow Maximoff, and don't have too much fun while you're gone."
Before walking off with Wanda to the nearest bathroom, she briefly turned around to aim her middle finger at the boy. Though you were extremely overcome with anxiety about what was about to occur in the bathroom, you released a chuckle at her response.
She pulled you into the bathroom, flipping the lights on. As the door clicked shut, you faced her with your back against the wall.
"So, um, what are we supposed to do?" you asked.
"We don't have to do anything, Y/N," she replied, leaning against the bathroom counter. "I just noticed you weren't very comfortable with the idea of kissing me out there, so I improvised a little bit."
"Oh, okay," you breathed out. "Just for the record, it was not the idea of kissing you that made me uncomfortable. You- You're cool, so, it's fine."
Wanda tilted her head in curiosity, clearly not expecting that response. "Oh?" she questioned. "What was it then? Because I could clearly tell you were not very comfortable in there... I mean, you were visibly stiff."
"It's not you, I just..." you looked away, unable to meet her gaze.
"'It's not you, it's me'?" she joked, narrowing her eyes.
"Yes! No! I mean..." you exhaled. "It's not that the idea of kissing you makes me uncomfortable because, believe me, it very much doesn't. I just- I've never done this before."
The blood rushed to your cheeks during your admission. You felt utterly embarrassed, wishing you could just be back in your dorm in this moment.
"Y/N," she called softly. Despite every ounce of your body screaming at you to not do so, you returned your gaze to the Sokovian. "Do you want to kiss me?"
You couldn't read her tone. A part of you was nervous, maybe this was all some sick joke between her and her friends; yet, the other part of you was thrilled by the proposition alone.
"I wouldn't oppose," you muttered, automatically employing humor as your defense mechanism.
Wanda rolled her eyes at your antics, "Ok, then, let's play a new game." She looked down at her phone, checking the time. "We have less than four minutes in here."
Confused by the sudden change, you acquiesced in her request, "Okay?"
She stepped closer to you, standing a foot away.
Her tongue escaped her mouth, briefly licking her lips, before she proposed, "Are you going to marry, kiss, or kill me?"
Your eyes widened at the unexpected question, but you attempted to recover in order to return her playful energy, "Can I choose all three?"
Her eyebrow had risen, the infamous smirk forming on her lips. Slowly, she inched closer and closer to you until you could feel her breath on your skin. One hand found refuge on your hip, while the other she brought to the side of your face. She used her fingers to tuck a few loose strands of hair behind your ear then cradled your face. You licked your own lips and closed your eyes in anticipation.
Then, you felt it. Her lips brushed against yours, softly and slowly as if she were testing the waters. It was only a peck, but you swear your heart burst from the experience.
A moment passed before she pulled away enough for her to speak.
"Was that okay?" she inquired, ensuring you were still interested in this.
"More than," you affirmed.
She smiled, "Good, because we still have a few minutes left, and I intend to use them."
Without another second, she connected your lips once again. This time was different, however; there was a newfound fervor behind it. Her kisses started slow like the initial pace, gradually becoming quicker and deeper. Uncertain about what to exactly do, you continue to follow her lead. You felt her slide her tongue across your lips, asking for entrance. How could you ever deny her that? As her tongue began to clumsily caress with yours, a familiar feeling settled in the pit of your stomach, but you ignored it and kept kissing her.
A knock at the door pulled you both back into reality.
"Time's up, lovebirds," the voice called. "Clothes better be on and straightened when you leave."
Wanda chuckled at her friend's words and bit her lip. For the first time, you think you see her outwardly nervous. She swallowed as she shifted her gaze from your lips to meet your eyes, "Hey, I um- I hope this wasn't a one time thing."
You sighed in relief, "With you? Never."
She leaned forward once more, placing a final peck on your lips before grabbing your hand to return to the circle. Instead of your prior placements on the floor, in which she sat on the other end, Wanda refused to let go of your hand, instead pulling you to where she had been sitting.
Thankfully, no one mentioned how your cheeks were now incredibly plagued with a pink hue, allowing the game to continue onward.
After the group decided to finish playing games and turn on a movie, you followed Wanda to the couch in order to sit next to her. As soon as you found your place at the end of the sofa, she gravitated closer, leaning into your side. Her head rested on your shoulder as if you both had been close for years.
The movie American Pie started playing, all of her friends too engrossed in it to note how the two of you were cuddled up together. She picked her head up from its place on your shoulder. You didn't think too much of it, imagining her neck must have simply gotten uncomfortable in that position.
However, she turned her head to face you, taking in the sight of you and her friends all hanging out and watching a movie. Unable to resist herself any longer, she leaned in closer, her breath hitting your ear as she whispered to you, "I can't focus on the movie. All I can think about is kissing you right now."
You rotated your head to face her, biting your lip at her words. "Shush, your friends are here," you quietly argued, but you were secretly enjoying her antics. You peered over her shoulder, observing her friends who sat quietly with their attentions fully focused on the film.
Wanda pressed a soft kiss to the base of your neck prior to returning to its original position on your shoulder. You sighed at the feeling of her affection, wondering if it would linger forever.
Soon enough, the movie ended, and it was time to go home for the night. Her friends had left moments ago, but not without saying how you should "come around more often." Honestly, you were deeply excited that you received their approval, especially after the recent developments with Wanda.
You stayed behind for a little, attempting to garner as much alone time with Wanda as you could without being interrupted.
With the others now gone, you allowed Wanda to be more affectionate; or rather, you allowed her to give in to her desires and kiss you again, and again, and again.
After the final peck, you pulled away with the cheesiest smile and swollen lips. She loved seeing you this way: giddy and carefree.
"I really like you, Wanda," you proclaimed with a sigh, effectively breaking the comfortable silence between the two of you. "Like, a lot."
"I really like you, too," she replied. "You know, in case it got lost in translation with the kissing and everything."
You playfully slapped the side of her arm. "I'm serious," you started. "You make me feel so... high school."
She raised her brow, gesturing for you to continue.
You resumed, "I never felt like this, especially during high school. For a while, I actually thought something was wrong with me." Her lips formed a slight pout at your past conflict. "I was always so... jealous of others my age, having all of these teenage experiences with crushes and romance. Since I never did, I just assumed that it was my fault, that something was wrong with me. It was isolating; it felt like some inside joke that everyone else knew about except me. But, I'm happy I waited, truthfully, because now I can experience all of those high school feelings with you."
End.

⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷⋆⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
It's strange how sometimes a single sentence can change someone's entire life.
Wanda's thought about what sentences could change her life—usually, they're morbid and depressing.
'You have cancer.'
'Someone you love has died horrifically in an accident.'
'Your cat actually finds living with you miserable and would prefer the dangers of living in the streets.'
Never in a million years would Wanda ever think it'd be, 'Hey, have you ever noticed how your best friend exclusively only dates girls who look like you?'
And don't get Wanda wrong. It wasn't a morbid or depressing change; it was just...a change. An irrevocable change because now, Wanda couldn't stop thinking about it or noticing it.
This was all Steve's fault.
Because if someone like Stupid Steve could notice something like that, it had to mean something, right? But as Wanda remembers about the past girls you've hooked up with and brought around, she doesn't know what to make of it.
A part of Wanda wishes she had never talked to Steve that night at the bar.
"Where's Vis?" Steve asked, looking around.
"With Tony playing pool, I think," Wanda shrugged. She doesn't particularly keep track of where her on-and-off boyfriend goes. She thinks they might be on an off-period right now, anyway.
"And where's—oh, nevermind, there she is," Steve started to say but cut off when they both saw you across the bar talking with the bartender, flirting over drinks—which were probably free if Wanda could guess.
Wanda's slightly annoyed because it's been a long week without seeing you, and Wanda's been used to seeing you almost every day for the past several years of her life. But you've been gone on a work trip this week for a wedding shoot and only came home just a little after lunch and needed an immediate long nap before tonight's get-together.
That meant Wanda was sorely missing out on best-friend time, and now you were off flirting shamelessly with the hot bartender. Wanda's rooting for you, make no mistake. The bartender is definitely easy on the eyes, luscious hair, and lips—something Wanda knows you're weak for.
Plus, Wanda's worried you're not anywhere near getting close to settling down. She wants you to be in a happy, fulfilling relationship. But she supposes she's in no position to talk herself.
Wanda loves Vision without a doubt, but their relationship is definitely chaotic, and Vision keeps pushing for something more serious now that they've been dating (sporadically) for a long time. She's been considering it in her downtime and thinks it might make sense as the next step.
Best friends do everything together, right? So, maybe if Wanda decided to take the next step in a serious relationship, you'd find someone to commit to seriously as well.
Then, both of you could get married at the same time. Then, they could buy a house in the same neighborhood right next to each other. There'd be endless double dates and vacations together. Wanda wouldn't have to miss you.
But first, Wanda needed to regain lost best-friend time, one-on-one style.
"Hey, you know what I just noticed?" Steve said, breaking Wanda's drifting thoughts.
"What?"
"Bug—"
Wanda makes a face at your nickname. Granted, it was Wanda's fault you ended up with it back in your first year of university. You never let her forget it, especially now that you're a professional photographer.
"—over there has a very specific type she goes after for girls," Steve mused, sipping his whiskey before continuing. "I mean, they always have green eyes and brunette—wait, that's not true. She had two red-headed girlfriends in our last year of university. They still had green eyes, though."
"Oh," Wanda said, unsure what to say since she's never paid attention to the girls you were dating. On average, they were a brief fling, and only a few lasted longer than half a year. "I guess so?"
Wanda distantly thinks about how she dyed her hair auburn in her last year of university because she was looking for a change that year and Natasha was insistent that she'd look amazing. Wanda recalls you were a fan of the look.
"Yeah," Steve nodded along. "Ironically, they always look like you in some way. Check out that bartender now—long, wavy-haired brunette with green eyes. She's got thick, long lips and even does that dark eye-shadow makeup thingy like you."
Steve just laughed it off, finishing his drink, thinking nothing more of it before he started talking about Bucky.
But it was like something clicked into place in Wanda's brain. A daunting realization that she was wholly unprepared for and not equipped to do anything about.
Wanda watched as the bartender clocked off for the night and dragged you into a corner booth, drinks in hand. It gave Wanda the perfect view that the bartender wore many rings just like she did.
In the poor privacy of the dimly lit corner booth, there was a staunch and needy kiss from the two of you, and Wanda swallowed roughly.
From here, if you were none the wiser, Wanda could be easily mistaken for the girl in the booth with you.
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷⋆⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
Sometimes, Wanda believes she's just being absolutely ridiculous. So what if you go after girls who share the same features as her? That didn't have to mean anything. You've always told Wanda she was beautiful, and it was perfect how you said it.
It didn't feel insincere or creepy. It felt good to know her best friend thought she was absolutely gorgeous. But just because you thought she was beautiful doesn't mean you harbored secret feelings for her.
You'd be insulted if you knew Wanda had ever thought that. She'd just be another one of those girls Wanda's seen you humble on multiple occasions when they found out you dated women, and they were worried you might have a crush on them.
But then, Wanda couldn't stop thinking she actually might be one of those girls because then she'd think about if you didn't consider her like that, it wasn't about her looks but something about her personality that wasn't your type.
And what could that be?
Wanda thought long and hard, trying to remember the girls you've introduced her to.
Sometimes they were funny, and Wanda was funny. She made you laugh all the time. She specifically remembered one time in high school when she made you laugh so hard you peed your pants just a little.
Sometimes they were intellectual, and while Wanda didn't have an IQ of 160, she did fairly well academically and was on the right track in her career.
Sometimes they were charming, and Wanda was the type where she got more charming the more you got to know her.
So, Wanda just doesn't understand. She's nowhere further with her thinking ever since this weird information has been bestowed upon her.
Maybe it all just means nothing. You just didn't feel that way about Wanda despite the type of girls you dated suggesting otherwise. You didn't need a reason for it, and maybe the fact you only felt friendship for her was the reason.
"Wanna order pizza in tonight?"
Wanda turns her head from the tv and notices you've put your book down. "Hm, not really. We had pizza last week," Wanda shakes her head.
"How about that Greek place that just opened up on Willington Ave?" You suggest. "Pretty sure I heard you grumbling about wanting Greek food earlier this week."
"I was not grumbling!" Wanda scoffs but smiles when you raise your eyebrow at her. "Okay, I was grumbling a little."
You snicker as you pull out your phone to order delivery. "Oh, sweet golden best friend of mine, whatever shall you do when you get married to Vis, who hates Greek food. Do I foresee a life of Greekless cuisine? Oh, the suffering you'll go through!"
"I don't need him to like it," Wanda slaps your arm, sticking her tongue out before she cuddles you. "I have you to eat it with."
You laugh unabashedly, a sound that Wanda's accustomed to hearing the joyful sound. "Better hope the person I marry also hates Greek cuisine. I don't know if I can live a life of eating double the Greek food. I love tzatziki sauce, but if I grow to hate it from eating it too much, I will make you suffer the consequences of that."
Your voice trails off as you focus on ordering food, unable to see the cogs in Wanda's head turning.
It's all so easy. There's no tension, no electric vibes happening. Just best friends enjoying the banter and making plans to eat.
It was all in Wanda's head, right? You're her best friend, so of course you'd know everything about her.
The right type of friendship is fulfilling and soul-connecting, and that's what Wanda has with you. When you have a one-in-a-million connection like that, the line between friendship and romance is thin, isn't it?
Wanda hates Steve. She'd never think about this if it wasn't for Stupid Steve. She can hear his dumb laugh, blissfully ignorant about the observation bomb he dropped upon her.
"Do you wanna get ice cream after?" You ask, throwing your phone to the side. "I'll even treat you to the gelato despite knowing I'm going to suffer through your crazy farts later."
"Oh my god, I'm going to trap you under the blanket with it just for that!"
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷⋆⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
Within two months, Wanda forgets about it. Forgets, as in that she decides to drop it (let it linger in the deep depths of her brain that she refuses to acknowledge), and resolves that Steve has no brain cells and has no idea what he's saying.
"Have you seen my strapless black top?" Wanda shouts from her room with the door open. "The one with the v-shaped front!"
"In your closet!" You yelled back from the living room, not taking your eyes off your phone.
"I can't find it," Wanda whines, and she hears you sigh as you get up. The footsteps approach her room, and she finds you standing at the door with an unimpressed look.
"I don't want to hear it," Wanda sniffs.
"Hear what, brat?" You say with a brow raised before you start rummaging through her closet. The nickname was a joke you started that Wanda was entirely a spoiled person, exhibiting bratty behavior at times. "That I'm not gonna be your roommate forever, so you need to learn to fold it yourself before putting it away?"
Wanda makes grumbling noises that are mostly nonsensical but smiles when you pull out the top she was looking for.
"You are the apple of my eye, stinky," Wanda grabs the top from you before she runs into her washroom to briefly change into it.
"A match made in heaven, yeah, yeah," you roll your eyes with good humor. "Hurry up, Natasha will kill us if we're late for Yelena's birthday. They're on an upwards mend in their relationship, so she's been so unbearably uptight lately to make sure nothing goes wrong."
"I know, I know," Wanda mutters, carefully pulling the top over her head to not ruin her makeup.
"Alright, I'll hail us a cab, meet me outside."
"Wait, wait!" Wanda calls out. "I need help putting on my necklace."
You chuckle, walking back just as Wanda steps out of the bathroom with the delicate necklace she wants to wear.
"Alright, alright, relax," you tell her. "Your accent gets really strong when you're stressed."
"You're stressing me out by rushing me," Wanda scrunches her nose even though you can't see it. "I'm also stressed knowing that you have to rush me, or I'll spend the party getting lectured by Natasha."
Wanda's voice comes out husked with the accent, something she's struggled between hating or loving, but mostly loving since you've expressed how lovely it is.
You grab the necklace from her hand, and Wanda moves her hair out of the way. The routine of it all starts to bleed the tension out of her shoulders.
Then, that horrible Stupid Steve Sentence kicks into her brain.
It's only as you put your arms over, placing the necklace against Wanda's chest, and focusing on trying to get the clasp in. Wanda can feel your warm breath against her neck, summoning goosebumps along her arms. You're so close, and she can feel the heat of your body radiating onto her, your fingers just barely brushing against her.
The tension comes suddenly, squeezing inside her chest as her breathing slows and shakes. Her body warms in an unexpected way.
"Ah, got it," you say, but Wanda can only focus on your voice and breath on the shell of her ear. "Cute necklace but the clasp is so annoying."
You pull away and start walking off. "C'mon, I bet if we tip our taxi driver an extra $20 bucks, they'll speed and we can pray we're on time."
Wanda's left standing there, knowing she probably sounds like she's fresh out of Sokovia with how stressed she is. Her right eye twitches.
Was that...Wanda gulps. Was that sexual tension?
And was she the only one who felt it?
Fuck.
She's going to kill Steve.

Natasha's absolutely neurotic when they arrive. It's just a simple backyard party, but it almost looks like a wedding venue with all the catering and flowers.
Wanda's pretty sure Natasha's only being like this because she's overthinking about whether to cling to Yelena or give her sister some space to mingle with others. She seems to be sizing up Kate, who Yelena might be seeing, but it hasn't been confirmed.
Yelena looks between exasperated with Natasha and secretly happy about the entire thing. Wanda can sympathize with her. After all, she's also a little sister, and Pietro can also be way too overprotective. Sometimes she's glad he's abroad in Europe for work while she remains in New York, but she misses him more often than she admits.
"Alright, alright, Natasha," you groan, and Wanda's mind slips back into the conversation. "We're 3 minutes late, relax, will you? Damn, are you always gonna be like this until you and Yelena get back into whatever sibling bond you had before? Hope you're just like this with us because otherwise, you're gonna scare away all her friends, and she's going to hate you."
"Oh my god, do you think she'll really hate me?" Natasha bites her bottom lip in worry while looking around at all the people that they can only assume she's nagged about being late or whatever mishap.
"Oh, man," you sigh, putting your hand on her shoulders before pushing her towards the bar. "You need some drinks and maybe some desserts in you."
Wanda's about to follow you when you turn around and nod your head in a different direction. She looks over and sees you're nodding toward Vision.
"You should go say hi to him," you tell her. "You've been complaining about not seeing him all last week, even though I don't know why you guys won't just FaceTime, but I digress. Come find me later, or I'll find you after."
You look over at Natasha, who's peering on her tippy toes to see if she can find Yelena.
"And, hopefully, I'll have ditched this nutjob," you whisper conspiratorially and laugh when Natasha turns around to smack your arm.
"I heard that!"
Wanda chuckles as you walk off with Natasha while she turns and heads toward Vision. Despite how she was complaining about not seeing Vision last week because she did miss him, her expression was sour as she made her way toward him.
Vision spots her immediately and waves at her with a warm smile. Wanda feels herself somewhat loosened at his expression. They'd also been friends a long time before they started on-and-off dating, so at the very least, she does miss his easy friendship.
"Hey," Vision hugs her, slightly rubbing her back before he pulls away but keeps his arm around her. "It's been a while; you look lovely."
"Thanks," Wanda smiles with a shrug. She looks around and sees he's standing with Tony and Pepper. "How are you guys?"
"Could be better," Tony sighs dramatically. "Natasha won't let me do any of my cool party tricks as if I'm going to ruin her little sister's party. If anything, I could make it the party of the century!"
Pepper rolls her eyes good-naturedly. "We were just talking about how we're thinking of going to the Bahamas for vacation in December and escaping the cold. We've invited you and Vision along since it's been awhile since we've all gone together. Of course, we can also invite Bug and Natasha."
"Oh," Wanda says for a lack of anything else to say. She doesn't know how to feel about it, but she peers over at Vision, who's just smiling at her and looking eager about it.
"I need another drink if I'm going to suffer through this party," Tony sighs. "Maybe I can convince Yelena instead!" He grins, dragging Pepper along, and they walk off together.
"So, what do you think?" Vision asks when they're alone. "I didn't want to reply on your behalf since I wasn't sure, but I think it'd be good for us. I've missed you," Vision pauses as if he's about his next words but then says, "a lot."
"Yeah, me too," Wanda starts to say, but then her brain gets all haywire because it feels like a lie. She did miss him, but did she miss him a lot? "I think."
"You think?"
Wanda wants to smack her forehead because she didn't mean to say that out loud. "I mean, I was complaining a lot that I haven't seen you in a while all last week."
"Yeah, work has just been overwhelming. I get so tired after work, I just can't keep up with the texting or calls."
But you can, Wanda thinks. Granted, you're her roommate, so it's easier. But even when you have to go on work trips, you regularly text her no matter what time and squeeze in a quick call, even if it's just to say goodnight.
The entire thing makes Wanda bite her tongue because why was she even thinking about that? That was completely irrelevant to Vision.
Then—because as if just thinking about you wasn't enough—her eyes trail across the room, and the scene before her makes Wanda even more confused about her feelings.
You're standing there with Natasha at the bar, but it looks like Natasha's calling someone over to introduce you to them.
Another brunette with long, wavy hair, like she just had a blowout done. Wanda's not 100% sure from this distance, but she has an inkling that the brunette also has green eyes. She's wearing a white halter top and wide-legged sage green pants. She wears a lot of rings, but her makeup is lighter and more summery compared to Wanda's darker, smokey eye makeup.
In short, this woman was the clean girl aesthetic version of Wanda.
And you look interested.
This was ridiculous, Wanda fumes, feeling her stomach sink and cheeks flare hot in anger. As quick as the anger came, it dissipated.
Why was she so angry?
She feels betrayed, and her thoughts are turning very ugly. Wanda is definitely not being a girl's girl right now with how much she's thinking she's better than the girl in front of you.
But that just makes everything so much more confusing.
"Wanda?"
Wanda turns her head back to Vision. He looks concerned, and even when his eyes trail toward what Wanda's staring at, there's no additional reaction. He's not upset that she's staring at you, and that has to mean something, right?
It must mean there was never a concern about how Wanda might've felt about you. Sure, there were a few things Wanda couldn't be without, and you were one of them, but nobody can't be without their best friend.
No one had ever blinked twice about you and Wanda.
Except now.
And that person was Wanda herself.
The more Wanda thought about the entire thing, the more she became curious. The idea of you dating people who looked like Wanda was intriguing. She wanted to ask questions but didn't know what to ask.
It might mean nothing, but it also might mean something.
And if it does mean something, Wanda wants to know what exactly it is.
Therefore, Wanda needs nothing in her way to find out the truth and exactly what she wants, regardless of the answer.
This was insane, wasn't it? Wanda's always been ambivalent about dating women. She's never gone out of her way to try it since she had Vision. Never mind entertaining thoughts about dating her best (girl)friend. And now, she was giving everything up in the pursuit of finding out what it could mean that her best friend was dating her lookalikes—and why she cared.
Wanda doesn't even know what she'll want to do with that information.
Wanda looks at Vision, peering at his features she's always found handsome. When she thinks back, she's not even sure why she complained to you about how she hasn't seen or heard from him lately. She hadn't even gone out of her own way to do something about it.
"I'm not going on the trip. I don't think I actually missed you like that."
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷⋆⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
The girl introduced to you was named Raye, Natasha's coworker that recently moved from Nashville. It was also confirmed she has green eyes, though they had specks of brown in them. She was a southern belle with a bold attitude, witty, and a wicked sense of humor. All in all, undeniably charismatic.
At least, that's what you told her in private because all Wanda could feel was unrestricted aggravation with the other girl. The southern twang made Wanda's eye twitch, mostly because she knew you were head over heels for accents.
"And then before I knew it, I was panicked and more lost than a blindfolded turkey on thanksgiving!"
You burst out laughing while Wanda's expression is stony, but when you look at Wanda, she forces a smile on her lips.
"Hahaha," Wanda dryly let out. "So funny."
But it wasn't. What the fuck did that even mean?
Raye continues to talk while you listen with rapt interest, and Wanda takes the time to observe your features in a way she's done many times before but with a different mindset.
Your lips are curved in a smile, glistening from your chapstick. They're shapely, and they look soft. It rivals her favorite feature of yours, which is your eyes. They've always been so expressive with her, and Wanda's been around long enough that she knows what every expression means. She can tell when they glint with mischievousness or are soft with immense compassion and empathy.
"So, what did you think of Raye?" You ask Wanda as you leave the party.
"She's cool, I guess," Wanda answers nonchalantly.
The rest of the party was excruciating between Raye constantly hanging around you and Wanda also being too nervous to be alone with you.
"Really cool," you sigh with a grin. "Glad I got her number. It's been a while since I've met someone so funny."
Was she funny, though? Wanda wonders.
"Funnier than me?" Wanda finds herself asking.
"No one could be funnier than you, brat," you smirk. "I almost peed myself laughing again when you almost knocked off Yelena's cake. I thought Natasha was about to enter into a coma." You snicker while Wanda rolls her eyes with a smile.
"Glad I can always give you the biggest laughs, stinky."
Wanda glances over at your face, recognizing the excitement by the brightness in them. It's just another reminder that, as your best friend, she knows you like the back of her hand.
But lately, when Wanda watches you pick up girls, she can tell when they're heady with desire. That look hasn't been directed at her, and Wanda wants to know what it'd be like if it were.
Wanda recalls the night you kissed the bartender and imagines if it had been her instead. She pictures your hand sliding across her jaw and cheek while your other pulls her closer at the waist.
It's horrifying when a slow pit of arousal builds in Wanda's gut and...other regions. It feels utterly frightening and wrong like she's betraying the friendship for having and then reacting to such thoughts about you.
But there's another part—the part that tells Wanda there's nobody in this world that she loves more than you. The mere idea of ever being apart from you was unfathomable. Wanda could and has endured so many things, and it would always be okay as long as she had you.
So, knowing that Southern Belle Raye has the potential to be more than a one-night stand to you, Wanda realizes that she has a very small window to not only come to terms with her newfound feelings but also act on them as well.
If this didn't go well, Wanda would definitely murder Steve.
