Outsider HC's but they're mainly about Ponyboy,, cuz he is my fav,,

Most of these are just Pony interacting with the gang and his brothers 😭 are they gonna be OOC? Probably. Do I care? No. Am I right abt all of these? Yes. (No.)

ALSO alot of them are post-main story/mention Dally and Johnny's death a lot cuz I am unable to let my favs be happy 🫶 (! None of these are ships btw,, they're all platonic and stuff lol)

Anyways,,

Ponyboy & Johnny

Johnny and Pony regularly have conversations quietly around the gang, most of the time they have a whole conversation with just a couple looks and jerks of their head. They both seem to get what they're saying while the rest of the gang is completely lost on what they're saying/talking about.

Pony is the only one who calls Johnny, J as a nickname.

"We're not scared because monsters don't live here." Was a sentence said many, many time in the abandoned church.

Pony and Johnny can lie pretty well, but when they have to lie together they suck.

Ponyboy & Dally (ft. Johnny)

After Johnny and Dally died Pony stopped drawing and reading or writing for awhile. He picked it up again and his sketchbook is full of doodles and sketches of Johnny and Dally.

Dally has a soft spot for only Johnny and Pony. It takes a lot for him to get soft with the rest of the gang. He's still mean and tough but more just teasing with Johnny and Pony.

Before the fire Pony would read out loud all the time while Johnny would just sit and listen, sometimes Dally would listen too but interrupt with questions and criticizing the characters. Now that they're both gone, Pony will sometimes read out loud on his own, pretending that both Johnny and Dally are there listening.

Dally is very supportive of Ponys hobby in art. He's usually the one who catches him sketching or painting and just watches until Pony is either finished or notices he's being watched. Dally always nods in greeting and says "keep it up, kid." Or "nice job, kid." But Dally will brag to his other buddies that aren't the gang about how talented the kid is. ("Nah man, the kid draws from memory. He drew this one picture of his big brother, yeah the big big one, looked exactly like him. Like a photograph almost. Kids real talented.")

Ponyboy & Steve

Steve says he can't stand Pony and is mean to him, but Steve is very high on the list of people who care about Pony. He's the most frantic (mostly angry) one next to Soda when Pony got jumped. He secretly cares about him a whole lot, like he's his own brother.

Steve will give Pony rides to places or offer rides time to time. (He only does it if Pony's gone awhile without annoying him lol)

Steve (and Soda, but surprisingly it was Steve's idea) took Pony to his first drag race. He definitely should have not been there.

Ponyboy & Two-bit

Two-bit and Steve started sitting in and listening to Pony read, they're not Johnny and Dally but Pony appreciates it nonetheless.

Two-bit was actually so obsessed with toddler Ponyboy, he always insisted on bringing him with the gang and letting him in on games, he always wanted a little brother. He loved how easy Pony was to entertain and make laugh.

Two-bit was the only one who didn't think twice about Pony and Soda's names.

Two-bit sometimes steals art supplies for Pony.

Ponyboy & Sodapop

When Pony would visit the DX Soda would walk him through fixing a car and even let him help out on small stuff. Even Steve would help too.

He'll leave notes everywhere for Pony and Darry and sometimes the gang. They're either dumb jokes or funny little drawings.

Soda gets very excited when Pony asks him anything abt cars, he'll talk for hours abt them.

Soda was so obsessed with Pony when he was born, all he wanted to do was hold him and hang out with him. He would brag to Darry that he's not the only big brother now lol.

Ponyboy & Darry (I'm so obsessed with their dynamic & their growth)

"Dang it Ponyboy you're giving me gray hairs at 20!" Is a regular sentence said at the Curtis residence.

Darry always tells the other guys to be careful with Pony when they're rough housing. Pony thinks it's cuz he doesn't want them to break anything in the house, Darry just doesn't want Pony to get hurt.

Toddler Pony would follow Darry and Soda/the gang everywhere but mainly Darry. If Darry was doing homework in his room then boom Pony would be in there quietly playing or sleeping on Darry's bed.

Darry regularly cuts Soda, Pony and his own hair. They don't have the privilege of going somewhere to do it so Darry just does it and he does surprisingly well. It's a whole day activity.

The night after Dally and Johnny died Pony had trouble sleeping, even though soda was there. The first person he went to for comfort was Darry. Darry was in the kitchen cleaning, trying to distract himself when Pony walked in. Darry held him in his arms the rest of the night.

On the first father's day without their parents Pony makes a card with a drawing of him and Darry on it and leaves it on the kitchen table for him because he's embarrassed. Darry keeps it forever. (He did get very emotional over it but not infront of anybody. When he got home he hugged Pony, smiled and walked away. Those actions spoke a thousand words between the two and Pony knew he said thanks.)

I will be doing more of these 🙏 I wanna try to do individual characters cuz ik some here didn't have a lot as well as ALL of these being pony centric and I love them all lol

Also can you tell I love when Dally and Steve are nice to pony lol? Love it. Love the idea that Steve actually cares abt him and shows it sometimes or Dally caring just as much abt him. THEY ARE ALL A HUGE FAMILY YOUR HONOR 🧑‍⚖️🧑‍⚖️🧑‍⚖️🧑‍⚖️🧑‍⚖️ I'm also so obsessed with Darry and Pony,,, they are so,,, complicated sibling relationships get me everytime

Are some of these good? Probably not. Do they make sense timeline and story wise? No and idc. Am I so normal about them? Yes. Most of these are based of fanfic versions of them anyways so yeah

Aizawa x Enby!Student!Reader (Platonic) - Misgendered

"You're so pretty! Isn't she so pretty?!"

You can't help but feel a little dejected at the complement, Mina's loud, energetic and enthusiastic voice filling the room, accidentally misgendering you in the process. Aizawa looks up from his papers at his desk, giving you an unreadable look.

A forced smile presses at your lips while you fight the dysphoria, rationalising it in your head by telling yourself that you haven't gotten around to telling everyone yet. Yet, part of you is a little disappointed that you don't look as enby as you feel.

Your teacher notices this easily, bothered by the saddened flash in your eyes that noone picks up on, and he feels bothered that one of his students is facing such a problem on their own. Aizawa is the only person that knows out of the entire class full of people, because you had opened up about why you'd been distracted and unhappy for the few days before. From then, he made it his mission to bring the class closer together and encourage teamwork to show you that you have friends who won't see you as anything different.

"Aw.. t-thank you, Mina... I guess we could be two pretty best friends, huh?~"

Mina's cheeks go pink... Well, more pink than they were already. She's blushing and it's absolutely adorable. Flirting and complementing others is your love language after all, and you definately think she's one of the prettiest people you've ever met. She has the heart of an angel too, it's just a shame that you don't know how to come out to her and tell her that you're non-binary. It really sucks.

Aizawa looks at you dryly as you shamelessly flirt with everyone in the class, his eye twitching as he deadpanns, an expression on his face that seems to say something along the lines of "kids these days..."

He huffs and continues with his teaching, separating your little group as the break ends and carrying on with the lesson, planning on pulling you aside after class to talk about what happened.

Though to his surprise, you had come to him of your own accord after everyone had filed out of the room and he doesn't even have time to speak before you're interrupting him.

"I want to come out... I- Can i make an announcement during our next period?"

"... It's rude to interrupt your teacher, problem child. Yes, you can make an announcement. Is this about Mina's comment earlier?..."

You pout as he gives you the same monotone voice and stares straight into your soul, nodding your head and feeling yourself deflate a little as he still reprimands you for interrupting him and flirting during class.

"Jeez, i get no special treatment, huh? Not even for your favourite resident creature? Damn."

Your sensei can't stop himself from chuckling at your antics as you hang your head down in an act of disappointment, shooing you away and telling you to go and hang out with your friends.

By the time next period rolls around, it finally dawns on you just how scared you are to actually come out for real, and you almost entertain the thought of backing out until you make up your mind at the sight of Izuku and Kirishima being absolute cinnamon rolls. There's no way such kind hearted, genuine heros could have any kind of prejudice in their heart. What were you even thinking?

That's it. You're gonna tough up and face it. So when you stand up in front of the class as they all file in, you ignore their curious and confused looks and spill your secret.

"Uh- guys? Sorry, I just wanted to say something- uhm... Im enby, a-and my pronouns are they/them. I've felt this way for a while now... and i'm sorry it took a while for me to say anything..."

With that, you stay quiet, anxiously waiting for any kind of reaction until you hear Kirishima and Denki interrupting eachother with words of encouragement, though you don't really understand because they're speaking at the same time and you're getting confused. A small smile plays at your lips as Mina nearly knocks over her desk to embrace you, squealing as you almost fall down, excited and encouraging chatter erupting in the room while Aizawa looks on with the tiniest smile.

None of you know just how proud he is of this class. And he decides that you never will because brats don't get that kind of positive reinforcement from him. He's oviously going to keep working you all to the bone and making sure you all suffer for being problem children. But for now, he can be proud, and watch on with hidden relief while you get flooded with reassurance.

Ole Munch Time

LET'S TALK ABOUT MUDMAN AGAIN. Let's talk about…the biscuit scene. There's gonna be a part 1 and a part 2 cuz OH BOY I GOT STUFF TO SAY.

Part 1

So, Ole Munch shows up at the Lyon's home and sits patiently for Dot while Wayne keeps him company, who I imagine is trying to chat our mudman up and just be his regular friendly self? I doubt Munch really knows what to do with that, he's out of his comfort zone here. I think the last time he was given a warm welcome was likely centuries ago when he met the people of the plains.

Then Dot arrives and the fun begins.

As they talk he does this strange balancing act between polite guest and grim reaper. He tries the tough guy act and the music reflects it in the scene. He's all intimidating; scowling, a bit snarly, Mister Grim & Gruff being all, 'no, our fight isn't finished', 'this is the way it has to be', 'you took a man's flesh now you must give your own in return'. Old Testament, yadda yadda yadda. But I don't think this is what he REALLY wants, it's likely that with the way his life has gone that this is just what he thinks is fair. What's available to him.

A little note about him being gone for a year and dressed all in black; what was the mourning period in medieval times for a child facing the loss of a parent? A year. And the appropriate color garb when in mourning? Black. He's trying to honor Irma's passing.

Let's talk about the handshake. Wayne offers his hand, and Munch, still staring at Dot, tilts his head away from it. I don't think he's flinching or cringing in fear, but I could be wrong. Maybe he's never been offered a handshake before, wasn't expecting the gesture, or…he knows what the gesture is and doesn't want to accept it.

It kind of feels like a pouty kid going, 'No, I'm not gonna shake your hand. I can't. I'm not allowed. I have no choice but to be the Harbinger of Death and you're ruining it. :c'

Dot approaches then, and Munch says, "We will finish our engagement now."

Dot's confused, says she thought they were done. What is he doing here, he had helped her and said she was free now. She hadn't understood his meaning then, that it wasn't about her and him. I think Munch telling her, 'The tiger is free', was meant as in free from Roy. Period. Her debt to Roy as his runaway bride was going to be absolved.

So, the debt. He's had much taken from him. Not just his flesh; remember, the money he was paid to go after Dot in the first place was stolen back. We saw Roy find the duffel bag in Gator's closet after he'd been abducted. Not just that, but Munch's new mother figure was also killed. He's gained nothing for his pain and suffering. The only debt that could possibly be paid fairly, according to his Code, is his ear.

And then he's being given a soda and he looks away from Dot to peer at it like..'??? What is this bright thing…oh, a beverage.'

It's funny how he rejected the handshake but accepted the drink, yet we saw previously how distracted he gets by the marvels of the modern world, so he accepts it if just to inspect the soda. And THEN he accepts the kind gesture behind it, but not before side-eyeing Wayne suspiciously. Like he's maybe mulling over whether or not he should thank him, or he's wary of Wayne's intentions. But Munch is clearly touched by the gesture, even if he doesn't WANT to be. He's being shown real hospitality and he finally accepts it, because deep down he WANTS it, so we get an almost begrudging, "A man is grateful".

Like he's going, '…Okay fine. I'll admit...this was nice of you.'

Then Wayne starts asking about him, and notice how Munch is STILL looking at Wayne, not at Dot. And his body language changes a bit, like he's surprised, maybe flattered, that someone is showing interest in him as a person. And he responds to that. Munch doesn't ignore Wayne, he opens up to him.

And the whole scene is hilarious because we can see how receptive Munch is to respect and kindness and family that it's like…buddy, your Code is a mask and it's about to crumble right off your face.

Dot then steers the conversation back to the reason he's here, the debt. She challenges it, but in a respectful way. She doesn't understand why everyone insists on paying debt no matter what. She understands, "keeping a promise, but people always say 'debt must be paid'. Except what if you can't? If you're too poor, or you lose your job, maybe there's a death in the family (all things I think Munch can intimately understand). Isn't the better thing, more humane thing, to say the debt should be forgiven? Isn't that who we should be?"

Remember his monologue in the bath? How the ones who have plenty insist on greed, insist on taking from the ones who have nothing? As if life itself owes them a debt, their greed must be fed regardless of the cost. And the cost is death. This scene feels like a continuation of his talk of kings, and I think he's reminded of what a kindred spirit Dot is.

I think to Munch, the debt is about keeping a promise to himself. Because all he has IS himself. His Code. If no one else is advocating for him, HE must advocate for himself. But now he has to reconsider what debt is to him, if it should be paid, if it should be forgiven. And he struggles with it because this will change him and he doesn't know if he should let it. Will this get him hurt? Will it be worth it? It's such a vulnerable place to be in.

And then Wayne mentions it's probably time to make biscuits. And it takes Munch a second but his attention snaps to Wayne. A hint of interest, maybe?

And Dot goes, "You know what? You're right." She smiles. Enough of this, she's said all she needed to say about debt and payment. Time to move on.

Dot asks her family to set the table, and looks back at Munch, and she's smiling in this certain way at him. Like she thinks she knows what to do next. Because I think she's starting to realize how alike they are. Maybe she used to think the way Munch did before she escaped Roy.

An eye for an eye. Think back to Dot's dream; Dot insists Linda owes her, that she needs to do something about the hurt and suffering she went through. Pay the debt. But Dot forgives her. She can move forward, no longer trapped. I think Dot recognizes Munch is stuck in survival mode and hurting, because she was stuck in it for so long.

Her family walks away and her smile fades. Munch looks confused, unsure of what to do next. So Dot gives him a choice, "Whatever it is you think you came here for, we're halfway to supper. And it's a school night. So either you wash your hands and you help, or we do this another time."

And Munch looks like he's pouting but he's considering his options. Dot gets up and leaves him to mull it over.

I wonder if Dot remembers that dream, of making a doll and having dinner with those other Linda's (other versions of herself). She fought against it at first, but deep down she wanted to heal from her past. She wanted forgiveness, love, and joy. Family. So she offers Munch a chance to do the same, because deep down she knows he wants that too. He wants to escape but doesn't know the steps to take. That's why he's there.

And Munch's faaaaaaaaace. He's in turmoil, he's confused, he's thinking of debt and forgiveness and Irma. His want of family, his want of being cared for and having people to care about in return. He peers up at the family and the music is tense with, 'oh no is he going to attack??'

But honestly? I think the music is a hint to how he's feeling. Munch is terrified of this family, of joining them. BUT HE JOINS THEM ANYWAY.

And just like Dot in the dream with the Linda's, he fights it at first. Shaking his head like, what is he doing, this is all wrong, a man has a Code. And he tries to insist on his Code. It's all he has, it's all he is. It's everything. It's safety. Change isn't safe, it's a risk and he just wants to be safe. Yet there he is in the kitchen trying his best to prepare something for everyone to eat.

They take his coat, accepting him into their fold, and you can see how uncomfortable he is. Exposed. His hands hover by his hips, like he wants to reach for a gun or a knife. He's struggling but he's trying. He saw himself in Dot and wants to understand just as much as he wants to be understood.

He clutches the measuring cup with both hands, maybe to give himself some sort of security. Grounding himself as he watches what Dot does with clear interest. Then Dot starts talking with him about the job he took from Roy. She discusses the risk that naturally comes about with accepting such work. She acknowledges that he got hurt. And that he can't be mad at the risk because he accepted the possibility of risk when he took the job.

You don't get mad at the boulder for being a rock. You don't get mad at the risk for existing in whatever form that it takes. And he understands that.

She makes him realize that he's not here because of the risk or the lost ear. But that forms a paradox because he thinks that's why he is here. So then…why is he here? He shakes his head, it doesn't make sense. That HAS to be why he's here. His Code.

Dot talks about family, of why she was a risk to him. She asks him to empathize by thinking of his mother across the sea, loving him. What if someone went after her? Tried to take her away from him? Wouldn't he expect her to fight like hell to get back to him? Wouldn't he understand his mother making that choice? Wouldn't he understand why Dot made that choice?

Munch responds, "You say that as if life is a circle, but it's a line. Mother is the start, this is the other side."

It doesn't make sense for him, because he's lived so long. Life just stretches out and out and out. A line, not a circle. It doesn't curve back and connect with itself, with all those memories of living sitting side-by-side. I can't help but think when someone lives so long, memories begin to fade. And the memories of his mother are so far away. Dot is discussing something that happened at the very beginning of the line, and this job happened at the other end of the line. It's been so long, he doesn't remember his mother and what she would have done, doesn't understand why Dot would mention such a scenario. He can't imagine it because to him it might feel like she never existed.

Dot doesn't know what he means, but she rephrases. She puts it in a way he can understand, "What I'm saying is, it's a choice. You made a choice."

They both made choices in life. He made a choice to take the job. He made a choice, and by doing so, became a threat to Dot. Dot made a choice, and by doing so, became a risk to Munch. For every action there is a reaction. It's natural.

She's not going to yell at him for being the threat, just as he shouldn't yell at her for being the risk associated with that threat. That's just life and where their choices led them. Now they have more choices to make, and she's made hers. She's accepted and forgiven him for being a threat. It's his turn to choose, which means thinking about what he wants.

The look on his face when she says that reminds me very much of the look he sported when Irma asked him what he wanted. Just, pure vulnerability and longing.

Dot guides him forward. She acknowledges his hurt and gives him options. Follow his Code, or accept change. Let his Code become something healthier that will serve him in the long run, instead of being trapped by it like she was.

Okay, lemme preface this by saying, I know it's a kids show.

Okay, was it just me, or were the reactions to major things kinda lackluster from Team Zym? Like, Amaya and Corvus almost die, and yes they were sad, but like, it was real quick? Yes, Callum saw them get to safety, but they just quickly moved on? I work at a library, those drop boxes ain't that tough.

Then Zubeia gets hurt and only Soren notices? Then when she doesn't show, they're worried for like .5 seconds and they've moved on? Like, I know times of the essence, but not even a mention later or Zym feeling worried for his mom?

Then, the big stuff on the ship. Callum is literally tortured and the only one to really react is Rayla? Obviously she reacts, but what about Ezran and Soren? Ya, Soren stands up, but it's in favor of Elmer (which was very cute, and great character growth for Soren, don't get me wrong, but I also hoped that it would start something with the crew). Then Rayla almost gets eaten, and yes, Soren and Ezran react a little to that too, but it's there and gone? Oh! And when the captain is finally gone and Callum is sitting by himself, hurt and clearly thinking about something deep (using dark magic again), Rayla comes in with a joke??? Like, really? Not asking he's okay first? Only asking after he doesn't joke back?? Like, he was tortured??? You all were just held captive???

I know I'm being nitpicky, and like I said, it's a kids show, but it just sort of bugged me. It's actually bugged me the whole show, cuz it's all like that. I love the show, don't get me wrong, but some times it feels like the parts where there could be heavy emotional bits either happen super quick, or get played over for laughs.

Anyway, done ranting. Loved the season, and can't wait for more!

Liking the first season of 'Torchwood' BUT...

See, I knew of the show 10 years ago. Watched some of it. Hated it. Forgot about it. But was watching like top 10 most shocking tv deaths (or something like that) and they had season 4 (did NOT know they had that many) of 'Torchwood' on there, saying how the latter two seasons were SOLID AF compared to the first 2 seasons.

And I am getting into it. On the 1st season finale. But I gotta say this show has so many plot holes (record setting for just 1 fucking season), and characters who make the wrong call EVERY TIME, you wonder...who am I supposed to cheer for? Cuz, by the numbers, Torchwood has hurt far more than it helped so far.

The lead-she cheated on her boyfriend (with EASE. It felt weird how easy it was for her being in a committed relationship), drugged him, erased his memory, lied to him, and then (Spoilers) got him killed. Also thru negligence, released an alien that killed a BUNCH of dudes.

The butler-he literally chanced cyber men taking over the world, and got an innocent genius doctor killed, cuz he was too much of a COWARD to let his clearly dying gf go.

Tech lady-She reads everyone's deepest darkest thoughts, then got mad when Jack sent an alien who had been murdering for centuries into the sun. She's not bad, per say, more...neutral. She's harmed the least, for sure. That's such a low bar, tho...

Captain Jack-The original reason I watched the show. I LOVED his character on Dr Who. But...this is not him. Not the same guy. Not the free spirited, happy, goofy, witty, always ready, near-god. No. This is an immortal having a mid mid mid life crisis cuz he's lived so long and WANTS to die. Seriously, cuz of his shit, and the lead's, this is like a partial drama. I will say, tho, he has had to make some TOUGH calls which did not make him well liked, but I respected him cuz you knew, deep down, it had to be done, and no one else was gonna do it*.

The doctor-In the finale I am on, he was fired. And I hope his character dies. I fucking hate him. I hate his face, his voice, his actions, his brain; everything. He convinces the noobie to cheat with him, after he basically mouth rapes her. He's angry ALL the time, yells at people thinking he's a genius when he's like the 3rd smartest. He 'falls in love' with a women, tries to demand her to stay, and gets all pity party after ONE WEEK WITH HER. Can you fall madly in love in a week? Sure. But suicidal and a threat to others cuz 'you're sad'? Go fuck yourself, you bitch. Oh, and he basically openly chooses to chance ending the world NOT because he wants to save his team mates (tho he claims that) but because he's tired of being a bitch to the time tear (or whatever the fuck they call it).

So...WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CHEERING FOR? Jack is the only semi cool character, and he's still kinda an ass. They're ALL kinda...selfish, short sighted, fuckers.

But I will finish this series. Because, storywise, the themes and plots they got going, are HIGHLY original and almost always have 1-3 good twists I don't see coming. You don't understand: I have been exposed to so much media, I can predict most things I see within a short period of time (even whole movies from trailers). I'm SO good (or writing is THAT predictable) I actually can, based on context, guess, WORD FOR WORD some lines. Sometimes in real time. Not usually. But not too far off, either.

*I will say, the call the writers/show/characters are supposed to hate was Jack giving the child to the faeries. NO. GREAT call. Best call you could make. Every other call would have sucked. See-the girl was fucking evil. Sociopath. Straight up. Like the faeries. She hated everyone. Talked to no one, but the faeries. She was borderline evil. And the faeries straight up said if you don't give us the kid, we will kill en mass, starting with HER ENTIRE SCHOOL. And the girl WANTED to go. So...where's the problem giving up the kid? Her mom's sad? Who gives a shit. You just saved TONS of lives, an evil fucking kid is gone, and the fairies disappeared. Only one who really lose was the mom. Her long time boyfriend (he was an ass) and her kid: BOTH GONE, SAME DAY. That is cruel, but long run, genuinely, it's even best for her. Her boyfriend was abusing her kid behind her back, and her kid was cheering on the torture of kids. It's a win-win-win. Fuck you for trying to make me feel bad for him giving up the kid. She wanted to go, and I wanted her to go. Fuck her.

Secondly your idea about the IV fluids thing is SUCH a good vote!! This is soooooo good!!! I absolutely can see something like this for Cyno 👀👀 give that boy strep throat or something (cuz that virus can spread to the stomach too and cause vomiting/I used to get strep all the time and it’s truly a bitch) so he is sick and needs the er cuz the only way to get better is antibiotics!! So you HAVE to go to the doctor or it will just get worse. AND when strep- naturally talking fucking sucks. So he’s not even able to fully express himself he just has to suffer in silence ??? Like not actually ofc lol. idk if this is weird or not- but one of the weirdest memories from my strep adventures as a kid was getting strapped into the car at like 12am to go to urgent care, and I remember just bursting into tears. My dad i think? Was like already panicking and trying to get me to explain what’s wrong and I just was sobbing and said something like “I’m not supposed to BE here!!!!” 🤣

also the good thing with strep in my experience is that once the drugs are in your system you start feeling better fairly fast? It takes longer to actually recover but the difference in relief once you have something in your system fighting the infection is soooo big. BUT if you get it bad enough that you’re vomiting or even having diarrhea it can be tough to keep the meds down so sometimes you just get a fat shot instead.

I'm a little sad to see it wasn't the winning prompt at the end of the day, but Tales from the Waiting Room is still a fantastic prompt, and I already have an idea brewing for it (lemme know if you guys want to hear what I've got in mind!). Plus, I can always still write the IV Fluids idea outside of Sicktember as just a fun lil' thing!

That's such a good concept, oml! I usually avoid writing specific illnesses/naming the illnesses I'm writing for the sake of avoiding misrepresentation, (especially if it's something I haven't had myself. Which applies in this case, I have never had strep throat, so I'd be a little worried about writing it accurately!) but I still reallyyyy love this idea.

Tighnari's (gently) putting his foot down and saying "no, Cyno, we have to go see a doctor, I'm sorry, but this isn't something you can sleep off," and Cyno's just. desperately grabbing Tighnari's hands and shaking his head. He can barely speak so he's just looking at him with large, desperate eyes, holding Tighnari's hands and shaking his head. Poor Tighnari's heart is breaking into a thousand little pieces as he's forced to take Cyno anyway, knowing how much Cyno despises any medical settings and treatment, but he just has no other choice. Bonus points if Cyno gets worse because the mere prospect of having to see a doctor puts him under an enormous amount of stress.

Also I love that little story- XD Like I feel really sorry for poor little-you and I'm sorry you had to go through that at all, but that's so real, when you're at that level of sick. I wish I had a silly little story of my own to respond with, but I have very few childhood hospital memories that I actually remember, most of them happened when I was too young.

Ooh I'd love ta! I'll put it under a read more cuz it's gonna be long!

Siousxie my Morpeko (named after "Siousxie and the Banshees"), was of course my first pokemon, and she was given to me by my big bro! I was real shy as a kid and didn't have many friends, so Piers caught her for me so I could have a partner, and she's definitely lived up to that~. She's always by my side no matter what, and I usually always have her out of her pokeball cuz she likes being with me. Despite her size, she's also a great battler!

Helena is my Liepard (named after an MCR song)! I found her durin' my gym challenge as a purrloin, and she grew so quickly! She's very sweet, but also a bit mischievous~ We like to get into trouble sometimes, she's my partner in crime!

Veruca my Toxicroak (Named after the girl-punk band "Veruca Salt") is my training buddy! We love to go on runs and exercise together. She helps keep my head on straight and makes sure I do my daily exercises and battle training. She's tough, but also sweet, I couldn't ask for a better partner.

Rebel my Scrafty is a lot like Veruca and likes to go training with me, although she can be a bit lazy at times. She's got powerful kicks and strong legs and can run and jump super well! She and my bro's scrafty, Cash, get along great and basically have a sibling dynamic just like Piers and I do! It's super cute and funny to watch them play fight.

Nephilim my Grimmsnarl is my biggest helper! I actually found him in Glimwood Tangle as a morgrem- or uhh rather he found me! Ya see I got a bit lost in the woods, during my gym challenge, and wasn't paying attention to where I was going. From behind the shadows, he lit up glowshrooms for me to show me the path out to Ballonlea. I'll never forget his act of kindness, he's always been super helpful and protective of me ever since.

Riot is my Pawniard (named after my fave Paramore album), given to me by my Uncle @grimsley-official! She's real scrappy and likes to take things head on. She's small, but she also super tough and headstrong. She does have a sensitive side though, I think she gets scared of making mistakes and failing moves, but I'm teaching her it's okay to make mistakes, because you can always learn from them.

Shirley my Krokorok (Named after Shirley Mason from the band Garbage) is my little goofball (I forgot to mention she evolved recently, oops, but uhh now you know)! Anyway, she loves going to the wild area and digging around in the sand and dirt, she gets super dirty sometimes, but it's alright, I don't mind getting dirt on me! She was given to me by Mr. Clay's son, Sigmund, and I'm so happy to have her by my side. Thank you Sig!

Were you named after anyone?

Not a real person but a Biblical figure my mum once memorably described as "the person who invented sex." (You can probably figure out my name now...)

When was the last time you cried?

I am pregnant so I am crying constantly at the moment. I cried throughout the Barbie film yesterday!

Do you have kids?

Just the one currently underway.

Do you use sarcasm?

Rarely.

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

I don't know if it's necessarily the first thing I notice, but I've always thought people's shoes are quite revealing.

What’s your eye color?

Brown.

Scary movies or happy endings?

Not a big fan of either. If I had to choose, I'd probably go for happy endings but they have to be well earned and not trite.

Any special talents?

I don't really have any party trick-type talents anymore. When I was a teenager, you could give me a series, episode, scene and line number of any episode of Red Dwarf I-VI and I could tell you the line.

Where were you born?

In a ward for especially young and especially old mothers (my mother was the latter) in a hospital in London, England.

What are your hobbies?

Nothing very serious. I draw a bit, although not enough; I do a bit of baking and I'm half-heartedly attempting to learn Russian. Very occasionally (like, every 5-7 years), I write some fanfic.

Have any pets?

No, I travel too much. I used to have some African pygmy hedgehogs (hence my profile pic), but sadly couldn't bring them with me when I moved from the UK to France six years ago.

What sports do/have you played?

I am the world's least sporty person and I hate competition! I have been doing yoga regularly for more than ten years though.

How tall are you?

5'7"/170cm.

Favorite subject at school?

Art, hands down.

Dream Job?

I wish I knew. For a long time I thought I wanted to work in media production, then I tried it and realised I don't like the constant stress, long hours and big egos (though I do still see the appeal). Since then I've been vaguely pursuing academia as I like analysing stuff and hanging out with students (mostly), but I've never really properly tried to get a full-time, permanent academic job cuz deep-down I'm scared of the workload, especially the constant stacks of marking.
