Day One (April 26th): Fusions: your culture, field of study, science, space, favourite music/books, interest, etc, & Sam Winchester

Sam week!!!! I've never participated in something like this so this is my first time doing anything like this and I'm really excited!!

I choose to go down the interest route, one of my current interests is Stardew Valley!! I've been playing the game like nonstop and I'm actually so so so bad at it 😭😭 but I'm trying 🙏

So!!! I did some quick sketches of Sam playing the game!!! I added some fun pictures from the game too!! (Ik this doesn't fit the time-line of the show,,, but idc 😭 LET HIM HAVE FUN)

I think he'd really enjoy the game cuz it's peaceful SOMETIMES 😭😭😭 he'd probably be pretty good at it idk 😭 also can you tell idk how to draw a Switch 😭

I have a very important question,,, which SDV character do you guys think he'd go after?? Cuz I have NO clue 😭

But yeah!! I had fun with this and I'm hoping I can take more time/make better art for the rest of the prompts!

Everytime I see a video of an orange cat they're like crazy and hyper and stupid 😭😭😭

I have an orange cat he's none of those things 😭 he's awkward and he's an introvert he's fat and he likes to linger in doorways as if he doesn't live here 😭

He wonders around the house like its a museum and he's not allowed to touch anything, he sits like a human and all he wants in life is to go inside the laundry room and wonder around 😭

He decides when he wants to be pet and he decides who and where can do so 😭 he sounds like owl when he purrs and he always goes "hmm?" When you suprise him

He doesn't play with the millions of toys we buy him he only wants to play with hair ties or the occasional old Barbie he finds 😭

He loves lounging he loves hair ties he loves sleeping he loves the laundry room he loves being manhandled by little kids and he loves belly rubs 😭😭😭

For those who don't know, Rafah Crossing is closed. Meaning Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are technically not allowed to go into Egypt through Rafah Crossing (with exceptions, like holding a foreign passport) so in order to evacuate, Palestinians need to bribe Egyptian border security officials. The standard price used to be about $5000 - 7000 per person but some Palestinians have been told to pay $10,000 per person just to cross the border, forget other expenses like food and boarding.

For a group of people who are enduring genocide and the complete destruction of their homes that money is impossible to raise without the help of fundraising. That and the collapse of the UNRWA is the reason you're seeing so many Gofundmes nowadays. The entire aid system is gone with the exception of local aid organisations that have limited reach.

So if you see a credible fundraiser, please at the very least share it so it can reach more people. This list by @el-shab-hussein is a good place to start.

I SWEAR there was a fic where the Avengers or SOMEBODY went to the store and so many shenanigans happened 😭 guys I love shenanigans omg 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻💕💕💕💕💕

My fav thing to do ever is when a TV show/movie/book are really fast passed and like really serious/dramatic and have a found family is to like think abt them doing regular stuff 😭

Like ya ykw I WILL picture Sam and Cas having a day spent at the local grocery store because Dean's out on a hunt so it's up to them to get their groceries and it just gets really silly

And I'm so glad I'm not the only one cuz I'll see a really serious post/a deep dive of a characters trauma and then right after it is a post abt like "what if they had a garden :) and made bread? :)" like you're so right they DO have a garden and make bread

I LOOOVEEEEE thinking abt THE CHARACTER doing mundane things and going out and running errands
