Ya know I find it funny how many exclusionists arguments fall apart at the simple phrase "it is not lgbtq/queer people's job to be palatable"
"Well -insert identity- makes us look bad!!! How are we going to be accepted when we're compared to THAT?"
It is not our job to be palatable.
"But homophobes & transphobes will use this as fuel to hurt us so people shouldn't use that label!!"
It is not our job to be palatable.
(Also with both of those: screw you for blaming homophobes and transphobes hurting and oppressing us on US. Victim blaming much?)
" But this identity is weird or confusing and might turn potential allies away!"
It is not our job to be palatable.
" Well as an -insert more mainstream ID-, -insert lesser known/accepted ID- is invalidating!"
It is not our job to be palatable.
It is not our job to water down our queerness, our transness and our orientation, to cater to anyone else. Our labels are for us. Not cishets. Not other queer people with internalized shit that they need to work through that make them feel others labels are a personal attack. They are for us.

Lookin thru the anti-radqueer tag and it's very misinformed. Radqueer supports transid and harmful paraphilias. THATS what makes it bad. Not that it supports endos or mspec lesbians or ANY OTHER FUCKING HARMLESS CONTRADICTORY IDENTITY. We are anti-radqueer and pro endo. Pro mspec lesbians and all that shit. You're only radqueer when you support harmful paraphilias and transid. So sad that being anti-radqueer (a really harmful thing!!) Is giving others the excuse to be ableist and queerphobic.

mspec gays and lesbians are the coolest tbh. like there's so much depth to that identity and i love love love learning why ppl identify that way !! lesbians who sometimes like men? gay men who are only romantically intrested in women? it's awesome!!! people are using labels and customizing them to fit how they interact w their identity. i just like it a lot :]

It's really funny to me when republican queer pick mes get rejected and kicked for being gay. Don't get me wrong it's deplorable what they do to their gay "friends" but you joined their side to harass, silence, and discriminate against queer people but you never thought even for a second that they didn't care about you either?

A demonstration of how truscum reuse transphobic arguments:
TERF: "You can't be trans, you're erasing real women!"
Truscum: "You can't use microlabels, you're erasing real trans people!"
Both are toxic and exclusionary. Stop policing people's identities.

Bonus Warning for Critical Inclusionists
Tumblr media
This is the anti-critinclus flag
It is a flag made purely to spread misinformation that critical inclusionists are exclusionists and are "hiding behind different labels". It's definition is below:
Tumblr media
It's explicitly making critical inclusionism = exclusionism, as well as promotes the idea that 'real inclusionists' should always support trace, transage, transabled, transbody, transautistic, and the alike. It mocks the idea that critinclus people are critical and if you see this flag you are interacting with someone who is anti-critinclus and believes you must be radqueer to be inclusive

I’m posting a lot today but oh well.
The reason I use crit inclus rather than rad inclus even tho I am technically both is bc the “good faith identities” concept is flawed as literal any identity no matter what it is new or old can and usually is seen as “good faith” by the person who uses it.
Being a bi lesbian or mspec vincian is in good faith and it isn’t harmful to anyone and it’s included in radical inclusionism! But a pedophile can consider identifying as a pedo as good faith and therefore still be included in radical inclusionism, even though pedophilia is harmful.
And you can say that “no you can’t be part of radical inclusionism!” But because radical inclusionism is based on the completely subjective idea of good faith saying that would go against it.
Queer history is based on critical inclusionism in the first place. Anarchoqueer ideology is critical inclusionist ideology. Queer liberationist ideology NEEDS critical inclusionism to function.
“No true inclusionist would be anti-proship, anti-para, or anti-transabled!” Except they would. And they are more inclusionist than you will ever be.
It’s kinda bad logic but it’s logic used by the pro-para crowd a lot to include themselves in our communities.

[image ID: a flag with six horizontal stripes. from top to bottom, the colors are medium brown, brown, light brown, grey-brown, tan, and white. end ID] - genderfuzzy describes a gender that is everchanging and often unexplainable. this gender is considered a subset of genderfluid - pronouns suggestions: it/its, fuzz/fuzzy, weir/weirds - this gender is open to anyone but created with neurodivergent people in mind. any pronouns can be used alongside it! <3 - flag and term created by me, requested by no one

Today on "wow exclusionists are fucking wild" I legit just saw someone crying over people IDing as lesboys(on tik tok, surprise surprise). Like visibly had tears in their eyes, voice was shaky and cracking, the whole mile. All while saying "why can't you just accept that you're straight"
Like dude maybe you need to go offline enough if someone's orientation and gender labeling gets you worked up enough to CRY over it idfk

exclusionists fucking confuse me lol. like yea sure, you can say someones not queer or deny their queer identity's validity or try to exclude them from your measly part of the community but do you really think thats gonna change how queerphobes see them? or for that matter how they see you in comparison to them? i almost guarantee that if they were to see even the most "normal" queer next to an unapologetically queer person they would hate us the same. they might give you empty platitudes but its only to manipulate and weaponize you against your own community. and that "privilege" they grant you is conditional, limited and never really existed to begin with. queer was never a box you fit into, it is everything the box rejects.
(for the record this post is open to responses from exclusionists, just be respectful and dont hold ill-intent or you're getting blocked)

Lately, I've been seeing discourse about if it's okay to romantically ship Alastor with other characters regardless of the fact he's canonically aroace. I've decided to put my two cents into this as an aroace person.
As a romance and sex favored aroace person, using the whole "ace/aro people can be in relationships" thing should only be used when aphobes and exclusionists are trying to dehumanize Ace/Aro people, not in shipping discourse. I understand that people are trying to say that in good faith. However, that statement can be used as a way to exclude and invalidate romance/sex repulsed Ace/Aro people.
The only way it's okay to romantically ship Ace/Aro characters is if those said characters aren't romance/sex repulsed. Alastor is clearly a romance and sex repulsed aroace character, and putting him in romantic/sexual ships ignores his undesire for a romantic and sexual relationship. However, there's nothing wrong with putting him in platonic or "frienemies"/rival ships as long as you're not doing it for the purpose of wanting him in a romantic/sexual relationship.
I can not speak for the entirety of the Ace/Aro community, but it's important to acknowledge that there's nothing wrong with aroace people who don't pursue romantic/sexual relationships. It's completely valid, and it's also important to normalize the diversity of the Asexual, Aromantic, and aroace spectrums.
