Artists, do you have at least one sketchbook? Does it have a bunch of disembodied eyes drawn in it?
Yes sketchbook, yes eyes
Yes sketchbook, no eyes
Yes sketchbook, yes eyes but drawn somewhere else
No sketchbook, yes eyes but drawn somewhere else
No sketchbook, no eyes

"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" the people give up some of their rights to be underneath a government who is given power, is alive through the people's wages, the people build all of society through plumbing and cooking and even entertaining, the people who are biologically male are automatically drafted so they can be whisked away for war whenever the time arises, the people vote and the people decide what goes through and what doesn't. The people are the ones who bring money its value, and the ones to pay for all of the government's needs. The government's trade for this power and work is security, safety, and serving the people.
By existing, people are doing everything to keep these countries up. People are the ones keeping it going. You're not even securing us, or picking us up when we have hospital bills, you won't use our taxes for anything but the army, which breaches our safety from other countries because you're picking fights all the time, the authorities you have watch over us are systemically abusive, you've broken every promise. But we're the problems. Ok.
You're not complaining about freeloaders. You're complaining that we have needs too.

Happy Palm Sunday everyone!
This year, the observance has really moved me. The image of people lining the streets where Jesus rode through and shouting "Hosanna!" keeps replaying in my mind. It's a word I feel like shouting at the moment. It's a word which means "save us", a plea for salvation, but it's also a cry of joy and praise, like the children at the temple shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David!". It's a plea for salvation spoken with the joy of knowing the Saviour will deliver it to you. In the week leading up to my baptism on Easter Sunday, my heart is crying out "Hosanna!" too. ❤️🌿

It's so funny that we call pro lgbt, anti capitalist, anti-war Christianity "progressive Christianity." Personally, for me, it's literally just following the original scripture.
