Jason Todd Canon Lore Stuff:
@jashjdh Ask and you shall receive! :D this is sort of part 2 to this post of mine, where I did the same thing for Dick Grayson. Here, since there are so many comics and so much conflicting lore, I read the fandom . com entry for the character and then type out the most important bits of what I learned, both to help myself remember it, and to teach others ^w^
!TW for Batman-like things, such as spoilers, mentions of injury and death, a brief mentions of drug use, a brief mention of sewerslide and r(😬)e, etc)!
•To begin with, a lot of people argue "Jason is the angry Robin!" Or, "Jason ISN'T the angry Robin!" I think for the most part, this misunderstanding happens because originally, Jason was a very calm kid. In his original appearances he had a similar backstory to Dick Grayson(Being an acrobat in the circus) and was much more chill, however in the post-crisis revamp, he became more violent and troubled. In the words of the wiki, "the post-Crisis Jason is impulsive, reckless, and full of rage."
•Jason lived a troubled childhood, with his father being a petty crook. His dad at one point served a jail sentence for his crimes, but even once he got out of jail, he never came back to the family. This left Jason alone, taking care of his drug-addicted mother. He would rip and remove the parts from cars around the city, selling them for cash to make sure they were fed and clothed. His mother eventually died from an overdose so he took to the streets, continuing to take apart cars for cash.
•One night he came upon the Batmobile parked in an alleyway. Batman had just replaced the tires, but had not yet put on his new custom hubcaps. Jason took this opportunity to snag the tires, and managed to get one and out of there before he came back for a second tire. This is when Batman caught him, hence the iconic interaction of him throwing his tire iron at Bruce and calling him a 'big boob' as he ran away.
•Batman tried putting Jason in a boarding school for troubled kids, however this didn't work out either because the owner of the school was actually running a program to train young criminals. When Batman busted the criminal operation, he decided that perhaps Jason's anger could be used for crime fighting, so he took him in because he was worried that if he didn't, Jason would become a criminal. While Jason wasn't an acrobat like Dick, he was strong, and had lots of skills from his time on the streets.
•On their first official mission together, though, it was revealed that Two-Face had killed Jason's father. Despite the fact that Jason's father had abandoned him, he was still enraged by this and he went on a rampage. However, he showed restraint when he allowed Two-Face to be arrested instead of killing him, which made Bruce very proud.
•As much as Jason was a good, enthusiastic student, he was also a very troubled one. His time on the streets had raised him with a tilted sense of morals, and with the tendency to lash out and get violent when threatened because of his street survival instincts. Because of this, Jason often had the opposite ideals and morals to his mentor. He tended to use excessive force when trying to stop criminals, such as how in one adventure he was asked to 'hold off' some villains, and he immediately shot at them despite Bruce's dislike of using guns.
•The most notable of these times was on the case of Felipe Garzonasa, a man who had r(😬)ed a woman, an event that led to her sewerslide. Jason tracked this guy down, and moments after Jason arrived, Felipe fell to his death off of his apartment balcony. While it was never confirmed nor denied, it's fairly possible that Jason pushed Garzonasa off, breaking Batman's no kill rule. (We love a man who respects women ✊)
•Bruce was so afraid that Jason was going to possibly kill someone, either intentionally or with his reckless actions, that he called Barbara Gordon and asked her to work a case with Jason, in an attempt to figure him out. They did work together, however Barbara could come up with no real way to help him, and simply warned Bruce that there was 'a darkness in Jason'.
•Jason eventually discovers that his mother was not actually his biological mother, so he runs away from home on a mission to find his real mom. He follows lots of leads, but eventually ends up in Ethiopia, finding his bio mother Sheila, working as an aid worker. He's incredibly happy to be reunited with his real mom, but he soon discovers that Sheila is being blackmailed by the Joker, being forced to supply him with medical treatment. Sheila herself has been embezzling funds from the agency, and to keep from getting caught, she directly hands Jason over to the Joker who brutally beats him with a crowbar and leaves him and Sheila in a warehouse with a bomb. Batman is unable to save them on time, and both of them perish in the explosion. Bruce is obviously devastated (and starts going crazy because of this a bit later on), and the bodies are both buried in Gotham City with the cause of death on Jason's death certificate being labeled 'smoke inhalation'.
•Jason is dead for at least a decade, his memory constantly haunting Bruce as his 'greatest failure', keeping Jason's Robin suit on display in the Batcave. Bruce begins to spiral over the thoughts that he himself had failed to train Jason properly, and that he had also failed to save Jason from the Joker. (Personal opinion, I don't know if I actually blame Bruce for 'Not saving Jason in time'? Because the way the wiki framed it, it made it seem like Jason ran away and didn't tell anyone that he was going to do this, plus I don't know how Bruce would've known that the Joker was blackmailing Sheila to begin with? Idk, maybe I'm missing some context here)
•Many years later, while Bruce is fighting with Hush, Tim gets kidnapped. When he confront the kidnapped it ends up being 'Jason', but it turns out that this version of Jason isn't Jason at all, and is just Clayface pretending to be Jason.
•Superboy-Prime, trapped in the Paradise Dimension, alters reality. This shift results in Jason's revival, as he's once again given life. He breaks his way out of his own coffin with his bare hands, and drags himself 12 miles before eventually collapsing (since he still has many lasting injuries from the Joker's beating). He's found at some point and hospitalized, where he stays in a coma for a full year, and even when he awakens he has amnesia. At some point he's recognized by a petty criminal, who informs Talia. Talia brings him to the Lazarus Pit, where she immerses him in the water where her father Ra's is also bathing. This restores Jason's memories and his physical health, however it's implied that the Pit's energy + Ah-Gul's energy messed with his mind and personality (Though it's always possible that these changes really just came from his trauma)
•Jason Todd takes up the mantle of Red Hood, and returns to Gotham City.
•Jason goes to find the Joker (who had been run out of town by Hush), and gives him a beating with a crowbar just as the Joker did to him, though he keeps the Joker alive to use him against Batman later on. He also assumes the control of several gangs, and starts a mini war against the Black Mask criminal empire. His general plan is to clean up the cities violence and drug dealings(probably because he doesn't want anyone to end up like his non-bio mother), as well as kill the Joker for revenge. Because of his intense and violent methods, he has many brushes with Batman. It's around this time that Bruce finds a Robin mask in the Batmobile, one that never belonged to Dick or Tim, but looked like a mask in the style of Jason's old Robin costume. He also realized at this time that Jason's coffin is empty, and that's when he starts to believe that Jason may have genuinely come back from the dead.
•Jason, hearing that Tim had replaced him and was supposedly a 'better Robin' then him, he got angry and broke into the Titan tower to confront him. Wearing a newer version of his own Robin costume, Jason makes quick work of immobilizing the other Titans. He was absolutely furious that there was no memorial for him in the Hall of Fallen Titans (Despite the fact that he was only a Titan for a very short time), Jason demands Tim tell him if he was really as good of a Robin as Jason himself was, and Tim stubbornly says 'Yes' before he passes out. As Jason is leaving the tower, he rips the 'R' logo from Tim's costume. However, it's revealed in the epilogue of that comic that Jason actually holds some respect for Tim now, begrudgingly saying an "I'll admit. He's good." As he ponders how he could've been a better Robin had he acted more like Tim.
•At some point Jason kidnaps the Joker and uses him to lure Bruce to Crime Alley, where they had first met all those years ago. Jason is of course angry that Bruce never 'properly avenged' him by killing the Joker, since Jason believed that Bruce would because the Joker had "Taken me away from you". Bruce explains that it would've been easy for him to kill the Joker, that he continuously fantasized about taking the Joker away, torturing him and eventually killing him, but that he wasn't willing to cross that line (Partially because he wasn't willing to stain the memories he had of Jason [that he clung so tightly to while losing his sanity] with blood). Jason decides on a deal. Either Bruce kills him, or he will kill the Joker. So he holds one gun to the Joker's head and gives the other to Bruce, counting to three. However Bruce, obviously not wanting to kill Jason but also not wanting Jason to commit this crime, uses a Batarang to cut down an object that ends up slicing Jason's throat. The Joker uses this time to detonate some explosives and plunge both of them into the waters. (I don't even know what to say about this part, I have a lot of opinions here. I will say though, I think that if Tim hadn't become Robin, Bruce might've legitimately killed the Joker.)
•Jason shows up again after about a year, now as an evil version of Nightwing. Jason uses this costume to taunt Dick, suggesting the two become a crime fighting team, but Dick refuses because he doesn't want to be associated with Jason's violent methods. Not long after, Jason is kidnapped by unknown mobsters. Dick, albeit hesitantly, saves him, and they team up to defeat the Pierce brothers. After the fight Jason leaves New York and drops the Nightwing mantle, leaving Dick a telegraph that says he has returned to normal, and that he still considers Dick family.
•Jason's kidnaps a girl named Mia, wanting to convert her to his side since they both had somewhat similar pasts and he feels they're kindred spirits. She refuses, so he blows up her high school. (WTF JASON???? 😭)
•I dunno how to explain this one too much, but basically he went on a mission with a Monitor that he called Bob? And he met an alternate reality version of Batman, who had started killing after Jason's death.. And then the Darkseid thing happens and Batman 'dies', which makes Jason absolutely furious (Because he cares about Bruce despite not agreeing with the way that he handled things back when he died).
•Jason, back as Red Hood, tries to take control of some gang wars to calm things down, but it actually makes things worse. Since Batman is supposed to be dead, and Nightwing is unavailable, Tim is the one who has to help clean up the mess. Jason asks to team up, but Tim refuses because of Jason's questionable methods. Due to a combination of some things, Jason gets shot in the leg and arrested. When the gang war is resolved, Tim stops by the prison Jason was in, using a disguise and a fake name to deliver Jason the code that will let him out of his cell because he believes Jason deserves a chance at redemption.
•After his escape Jason is summoned to the Batcave, where he is brought in to hear his part of Bruce's Last Will and Testament for him(Y'know, since Bruce is supposedly dead lmao). He listens to Bruce's final piece as he talks about out of all his failures, Jason was his biggest, and how he regretted not getting Jason actual help or showing much empathy over him hardships, instead dressing him up and having him fight. Unfortunately this heartfelt message is what makes Jason fully snap.
•Jason began dressing up in a Batman-like outfit, leaving slips of paper saying 'I AM BATMAN' where he worked, however he used much more aggressive and lethal forms of punishment on the criminals he fought. Due to the violent nature of his vigilantism, Nightwing and Damian are after the fake Batman. Dick figures put pretty quickly that the imposter Batman is Jason, and after an argument, Jason shoots Damian. Tim is also searching for the fake Batman at this time, dressing up as Batman as well to demonstrate how Bruce would've really acted. Tim finds Jason's fake Batcave, but has to be saved from a boobytrap by Catwoman. Jason returns to his 'cave' and finds them there, impaling Tim with a Batarang. Dick and Jason fight, with Jason thinking and claiming that Tim is dead, while Damian and the Squire are actually busy saving Tim. Dick kicks Jason off a moving train, but when he tries to pull Jason back up to safety(Because he still considers him family, just as Jason does him), Jason refuses his help and falls to his 'death', while claiming they'll meet again soon. This is when Dick becomes Batman.
•When Jason returned, having survived the fall, he decided to become direct competition to Batman and Robin, making it his mission to get to all of the criminals before them and become the new Gotham Hero. He even got his own sidekick, a girl named Scarlet. Jason was very public about this, posting things on social media, talking about how killing the villains was the best way to do it, and a lot of people actually agreed. At one point Jason kidnapped Dick and Damian, locked them up and stripped them both naked(😰), claiming online that if the post got enough attention, he'd reveal Batman and Robin's secret identities. However his plan was interrupted by an assassin names Flamingo, that he and Scarlet weren't strong enough to beat. Dick and Damian escaped and saved them from death, though Damian got pretty seriously injured.. Jason just ran Flamingo over with a truck- Jason was taken into police custody and as they took him away, he claimed that if the Lazarus Pit could revive him, why couldn't it revive Bruce too?
•After Bruce's revival, Jason files an appeal to Arkham Asylum, wanting to be released because the tests show that he's perfectly sane, just willing to kill. He ends up being transferred to a Gotham prison, where as soon as he arrives, the sewerslide rates spike and there are several homicides(Though these mainly occurred in self defense from Red Hood killing people in the prison who attempt to kill him first). On top of this, Jason poisons the food and kills 82 inmates, making 100 more sick. He's immediately taken back to Arkham Asylum, but is quickly broken out by some mercenaries. Jason breaks free from the mercenaries and fights them off as Batman and Robin arrive. At the end of this mission, Red Hood and Scarlet escape in a helicopter, warning Bruce and Damian not to chase them because he planted bombs all over the city months ago, and he's willing to detonate them. Dick doesn't do anything about, deciding that Jason was lying about the bombs, and that even if Jason decides to do better he'll only rejoin the family when he's ready to.
•Jason, trying to reform, forms his own hero team called the Outlaws. He changes the red symbol on his chest to a bat, a sign of his somewhat awkward but slowly-beginning-to get-back-on even-ground relationship with the Batfamily. The costume he now wears also used to belong to Dick. His relationship with Tim is now at least neutral, if not a little friendly, as the two can be seen eating together and making some jokes. However his relationship with Bruce is still strained, and a bit hostile. While he keeps his aggressive and lethal style of fighting, he now only uses it when he believes necessary, and doesn't always shoot the second he sees a problem.
•At some point his team disappears, and he goes back to being a solo hero.
Extra Fun Fact! Because of the Lazarus Pit, Jason no longer ages and he heals much much faster then a normal human!
TAADAA! I might do more if I get the motivation ^w^

hi! i know it must be kinga boring for you recive questions about castiel bc ppl are obsessed ober him for years but like the other person who asked you a few days ago, i follow you (and ply mcl) for like 10 years and ever since day one my fav boy has been tiel. till this day at the age of 22 he's my favorite and my comfort boy so i joke that he's not a fictional character anymore for me and that i know him personally at this point lol
with that being said, i bet you can imagine that over the years i've been elaborating his personality beyond what the game gives us but he's your boy, you created him therefore you know him and your word is canon, so i'd like to ask a few stuff!! nothing too big, dont worry but here we go.
tiel is an amazing songwriter and since he's very emotional not very good at express it (he does it a lot better now that he's an adult 🥹) i bet his lyricism is very deep and poetic so i have this headcanon that he at first wouldn't like taylor swift because obviously lol but then he payed attention to her lyrics and ends up basically being a swiftie since he likes her writing a lot. what you think about that?
and what kind of music crowstorm sings? like there are any bands that you listen and think "hey this would be in a crowstorm album!" (i have a playlist with this name btw lol). im probably wrong on this one but since this is my fav band i like to think that catfish and the bottlemen are the irl crowstorm, musically speaking
and the last one: another thing that gives me so much comfort is the lystiel friendship. not having present parents, being so closed off i know that lysander is such an important presence on tiel's life because he was basically the only close person he had (specially after the debrah fiasco); if lys didnt had taken the farm and went to college and bla bla bla do you think he would still be part of the band with castiel? im not sure if im mixing the canon with a fanfic i read a while ago (lol) but the band was more of a fun thing to lys, right? he liked writing most (i always imagined him getting into a literature degree or something like this). i also like to think that he helps tiel with lyrics at times, even if he's out of the band (in my head the canon is that they are best friends and pretty close till this day, i pretend lys never left our lives just like armin)
anyways sorry for this big ask 😭 i dont even know if you will read it all but if you do, thank you! and dont feel like you have to answer, i know its too much its just that mcl is my hyperfixation till this day like for real, i have a fanfic that i write still and i even plan on making it into a book sometime. except from the main characters (who is my oc) all the characters will be based on the game's ones :)
ilysm take care and stay hydrated!!
Hellow !
Aww thank you so much and for all your love for Castiel ^^
What a long ask, I'll try to answer in order.
Castiel being a swiftie. No sorry, I don't think he would be. If candy likes her, I'm pretty sure he would try to listen. Also he is an open minded person for sure, so I'm sure he would be curious to listen and study what all the hype is about, it could also help as some sort of far away inspiration, but I don't see him being a fan.
Tumblr media
What kind of songs Crowstorm sings This is hard to answer because my musical knowledge is pretty limited and I'm sure I would miss on lot of potential groups or singers that would fit well. And it would require too much research time to have a real detailed and clear answer, but I still did check a bit and here is a little list of songs/groups that I think would have a fitting vibe for Crowstorm
City of the dead - Hollywood Undead The worst in me - bad omens Paranoid - I prevail Trauma Just pretend - Bad omens Ice Nine Kills - A grave mistake Catfish and the bottlemen sounds nice but I think its a bit too soft for what I imagine for Crowstorm.
What is his voice like I think something similar to this (not necessarily the song itself, just the voice. )
bonus, I think this song is so so fitting for Castiel's breakup song, I love it. Dial Tone - Catch your breath
Castiel and Lys friendship. It was'nt mentionned much in UL/LL because I didnt wish to bring too much drama by mentioning Lys when he was not there for the players, but of course Lys and Cast always kept in touch. It is very clearly mentionned in Lys' AL that they keep in touch, that Lys helps Castiel write songs and Cast also like to come to his farm to have a break and spend time together. You should play it if you havent, you'll have a good chunk of Cast and Lys friendship :) However yeah I can confirm that Lys would not like to do it serisouly and professionally, but he'll be all the way around to support and help Cast.

The War of the Scaleborn: A Timeline
Mounting Tensions
The events of the novel start just over a decade after Galakrond’s demise (32). By the end, it has been around five centuries or so since the dragons were granted the titans’ gifts (368).
Tyr, worried the dragonflights needed to grow more quickly to face whatever threats might arise, commanded Alexstrasza to take primal dragon eggs from the wild and forcibly infuse them with Order magic (19, 24). Ysera and Nozdormu disagreed with this course of action, but Malygos and Neltharion persuaded the Dragon Queen it was necessary. Alexstrasza ultimately acquiesced to Tyr’s demand with one stipulation - that they only take unguarded eggs that had been abandoned (23-25). It seems, however, that this edict was not always obeyed; some of the primal dragons reported their entire clutches being stolen time and time again (83, 206).
The dragons placed no restrictions on ordering dragons who were with clutch as long as they consented (134).
The whelplings born of primal eggs taken from the Dragonwilds were aware they had been stolen, many remembering vague sensations of Order magic transforming them while still in the shell (53, 83, 133, 206). Vyranoth expected hundreds, if not thousands, of eggs were stolen over the course of the war (211).
The Aspects engaged in diplomatic relations with the primal dragons for two centuries, Wyrmrest Temple acting as a neutral embassy between the factions. Unfortunately, the Winterskorn War only served to increase the primal dragons’ mistrust of the titan-forged and, consequently, the Aspects (44, 175).
Iridikron launched a propaganda campaign against the ordered dragons, claiming they were responsible for everything from forcing Order magic on tarasek to the primal dragons being pushed out of their hunting grounds. Iridikron continued this campaign by forcing his clutch-sister, Ikronia, to burn down the towns of tarasek and mortals alike, spurring even more negative sentiment against the ordered dragons (74-76, 88). Some mortals actually joined Iridikron’s forces as a result (76).
It was at this time Iridikron officially named his faction of followers the Primalists (117).
Raszageth and Ikronia terrorized mortal and tarasek settlements for 50 years (116).
While Raszageth often attacked ordered dragons on the edge of the Broodlands, she never dared to fully cross the border until her final attacks on the Reach (126).
Despite Raszageth’s attacks on their borders and Iridikron’s rapidly growing army - stirred by primalist propaganda as it was -, Alexstrasza strove for peace (88).
Neltharion attempted many times over the years to send emissaries to meet with Iridikron in Harrowsdeep, but all were turned away, sometimes even violently (88).
Alexstrasza allowed the primal dragons to hunt in the territories around Wyrmrest Temple so long as they did not harass the ordered dragons (111).
Alexstrasza forbade the drakes from fighting with the primal dragons unless lives were at stake (136).
A Rising Storm
Tumblr media
Though it was not the case initially, the primalist forces outnumbered the Aspects’ at the onset of the war by three-to-one (115, 198-199).
Neltharion kept the truth of Tyr’s death from the dragonflights, though the Aspects knew (112). It was not until war officially broke out many decades after the keeper’s death that the ordered dragons found out the truth (230-231).
Stormsunder Crater, a region in the eastern part of the Forbidden Reach, was formed when Raszageth crashed to the ground during her assault on Neltharion’s dracthyr (154).
Raszageth’s attack on the Reach came to be known as the Battle of Stormsunder (242).
Neltharion did not want word of what transpired that day in the Reach - and the dark truth of what he did - to get out. Nor did he want Iridikron to turn the dracthyr against the Aspects. Afraid he could not manage either of those things without the control Oathbinder afforded him over the dracthyr, he gave them one last command with the remains of the destroyed artifact and sent them back to their creches (158, 164). A short time later, Malygos would freeze all of the dracthyr in a deep slumber (165).
Neltharion lied to Malygos about what happened at the Reach, telling his old friend that he’d personally attacked and incapacitated Raszageth before imprisoning her (161).
Malygos agreed to help Neltharion conceal the truth of what occurred at the Reach under two conditions: 1) that he would be in Malygos’ debt, to be called upon at any time, and 2) they tell Alexstrasza the Incarnates attacked the Reach right away (163).
Neltharion did not want to tell Alexstrasza about the dracthyr out of concerns that the Dragon Queen, dedicated to peace as she was, would disapprove of his choice to breed soldiers for war (161).
After Raszageth’s attack on the Reach, Alexstrasza declared all primal dragons banned from the Broodlands and Wyrmrest Temple (168).
Battle Rages
At Iridikron’s behest, a newly-made Incarnate Vyranoth and the Primalist forces attacked Wyrmrest Temple in retaliation for Raszageth’s imprisonment. Aside from Raszageth’s attack on the Reach, this was the first battle of the war (183-184).
Iridikron later launched another attack on Wyrmrest Temple in an event now known as the Battle of Dragonblight. The ordered dragons won, but at the cost of any territory they had beyond Wyrmrest Temple (219).
Iridikron and other primal dragons often sent earthquakes throughout the Broodlands in covert attempts to destabilize the ordered dragons’ efforts. In response, the blue and black dragonflights erected a series of magical obelisks along the Broodlands’ border that would make the land impervious to Iridikron’s earthly attacks. Each of these obelisks was connected to Vakthros through a ley line (86, 201).
During the war, Malygos lobbied to alter the obelisks so that they would form a shield of sorts over the Broodlands. Unfortunately, Malygos warned the strain placed on them would cause the already old obelisks to give out in a year’s time. They lasted twenty-five, falling victim to sabotage from within at the last (201-202, 219, 225, 235).
The ordered dragons suffered only a hundred casualties over the first twenty-four years of battle while the Primalists lost about a thousand (220).
Nozdormu was the one to suggest building a vault to hold the Incarnates in perpetual stasis, though it was Alexstrasza who inspired the idea by insisting they not kill them (205).
Alexstrasza established flight academies for drakes at this time to teach them the skills they would need to defend the Broodlands (220).
Nozdormu saw a potential alternate timeline in which Alexstrasza hunted down and killed each of the Incarnates, one by one. The dark truth of what she had done in that timeline broke the alternate Dragon Queen’s mind, causing her to terrorize the world. In another, she forced all dragons to choose between Order magic or death (223).
Nozdormu also told Alexstrasza that her death would inevitably lose them the war in every timeline (224).
According to Nozdormu, Fyrakk was always the first or second to fall in the potential timelines he saw (246).
Six ordered drakes, among those who had been stolen from the Dragonwilds as eggs, turned against the Aspects in outrage when they learned the truth of their upbringing. Their ranks included Talinstrasz, Sirigosa, Ellegos, Nolizdormu, Azarian, and Ivarus. They were the ones who sabotaged the magical barrier protecting the Broodlands (227). Sirigosa would later claim she saw the error of her ways and repent (280).
Malygos was the one who captured and imprisoned Fyrakk in a conflict now known as the Battle of Flamesfall. He weaved an illusion over himself to appear as Alexstrasza, then whisked the Incarnate through a portal to the Vault once they engaged in combat. Ysera put Fyrakk in a deep slumber, allowing the Aspects to imprison the Incarnate once and for all (258-259, 265).
Five hundred of the Primalists’ forces were slain in the Battle of Flamesfall. It was the second single greatest loss of life during the war, second only to the Battle of Emberfall in which a thousand casualties were suffered between both sides (265, 267).
In the Battle of Emberfall, the brood-mother Oxoria made a push into the Reach to free Raszageth. Nearly two hundred of the black dragonflight perished in the battle (267).
The red dragonflight also had to contend with a growing force of djaradin encroaching on the Waking Shores at this time (267).
The djaradin had only become increasingly hostile in the last century, perhaps using the ongoing war to their advantage to claim territory in the Waking Shores (269).
Alexstrasza forbade drakes from fighting on the front lines against full-grown primal dragons (270).
As time went on, betrayals became more common among the ordered dragons. Black dragons played double agent, bronzes attempted to reverse time to help the Primalists, and members of the green and red dragonflights made a bid to kidnap eggs from the life pools, among other things. Many of them were imprisoned beneath the Obsidian Citadel and later freed by the Primalists (270, 277-278).
Iridikron’s Rockfuries did not personally join the battle until centuries into the war (287).
Alexstrasza challenged Vyranoth to single combat. The terms were such that if the Dragon Queen were to win, Vyranoth would consent to being imprisoned within the Vault of the Incarnates or perish. The duel was held at the Icebound Eye, part of Vyranoth’s territory (290, 293, 300, 319). This event occurred over fifty years after Fyrakk’s imprisonment (266-267, 289).
Upon Vyranoth’s defeat and subsequent imprisonment, her dragon companions swore to join Alexstrasza’s cause as long as she honored her original promise to Vyranoth and not force Order magic on them (321).
For centuries, Iridikron’s earthquakes had been part of a plan to carve out secret caverns and tunnels under the earth for an eventual underground attack on Valdrakken (298).
For the next few decades after the battle at Valdrakken, Iridikron tried and failed to create more Incarnates to replace his lost commanders (331).
It wasn’t until the end of the war - after three Incarnates had been imprisoned - that Iridikron turned to the djaradin (334).
After Razviik, Mithruz was Vyranoth’s third-in-command. He would fall in single combat against Ysera toward the end of the war (235, 325).
Neltharion ultimately subdued Iridikron by using the gifts the Old Gods gave him. He vowed to himself it would be the last time he ever gave in to the whispers (371-372).
As part of the negotiations made between the ordered dragons and the remaining Primalists at the end of the war, Alexstrasza promised to withdraw from the Dragonwilds and grant them to the primal dragons. She also swore that no primal egg would be stolen from its nest ever again (375).
Alexstrasza then personally visited each dragon that had been taken and ordered in the shell, promising all of them a boon as recompense for the act she had committed without their consent (376, 378).
Alexstrasza and the Aspects resolved to never speak of the War of the Scaleborn again, wishing to avoid imposing the horrors of it upon future generations (380).
The Vault of the Incarnates was bound with three magical protections: one of time, one of arcane, and one of stone (381).
Alexstrasza & The Red Dragonflight
Before and during the War of the Scaleborn, a red dragon by the name of Saristrasz acted as Alexstrasza’s majordomo (5, 301).
Tyranastrasz, one of the Dragon Queen’s consorts before his death during the Second War, may have actually been her mate as far back as when they were proto-dragons (8).
Alexstrasza knew the name of every dragon hatched at the life pools (133).
The Ruby Flamebringers served directly under Alexstrasza (272).
Neltharion & The Black Dragonflight
The black dragonflight’s majordomo was Nalaxa (159).
A black dragon by the name of Umbrenion was principal architect of the Obsidian Citadel and various structures within Zaralek Cavern (29).
The Shadowscales were a military sect of black dragons dedicated to gathering intelligence on the enemy. They were led by Egnion (61, 86).
The Ironscales were one of the largest battalions in any dragonflight, numbering nearly two hundred (304). By the end of the war, they still boasted around one-hundred-fifty (346).
The Onyx Reavers of the black dragonflight were incredibly deadly in combat. They used their speed to their advantage, often dropping on unsuspecting enemies from above at such breakneck speeds that they would easily shatter their enemies against the ground (236, 254).
Custom dictated that the bodies of black dragons be burned, their bones interred in mausoleums in the Veiled Ossuary, and their ashes spread over the magma falls in the Waking Shores so that they could return to the earth from which they originally drew power (160, 242).
Neltharion had heard whispers since even before he became Aspect. It wasn’t until sometime in the next two hundred years that they grew stronger, afflicting him with tormenting thoughts and whispers. He never told another soul about them (87).
Neltharion heard at least four separate voices whispering to him (87). This is of note since at this point, Aman’Thul had already dealt with Y’Shaarj, leaving just three Old Gods.
Neltharion experimented on mortals in secret for years, seeking to understand them so that he could create a hybrid army capable of withstanding the primals’ burgeoning might (105).
At this time, Rashok was captured by the black dragonflight and imprisoned within Aberrus (105-106).
Neltharion discovered Oathbinder deep within a titan vault. He asked the titan-forged to modify it so he could use it on the dracthyr specifically (149).
Neltharion was still mostly in control of his faculties after submitting to the Old Gods during the battle at the Reach, though he acknowledged he would never again be the same after letting them in (157). With time, the whispers would only grow stronger, sometimes even debilitating (195).
The black dragonflight spent 300 years preparing for war in secret, having started forging a massive cache of armor and weapons since the day after their oathstone was empowered. In doing so, they developed new forms of blacksteel and elementium, lightweight metals that could provide the dragons protection in the air (193).
The Blue Dragonflight
Beregos was the archlibrarian of the Azure Archives (220).
Centuries after Iridikron began his movement against the Aspects, the blue dragonflight learned how to summon and control arcane elementals (130).
The blue dragonflight frequently employed arcane elementals glamoured as dragons on the field of battle to make their numbers look bigger than they actually were (282).
Malygos and Nozdormu usually fought side by side (281).
Malygos was able to enchant stones that would portal a dragon at a moment’s notice, should the need arise (342, 361).
The Bronze Dragonflight
During the war, the bronze dragons discovered they could reverse wounds with time magic (267).
The Green Dragonflight
The green dragonflight’s majordomo was Vathira (208).
Toward the end of the half-century Raszageth perpetrated attacks against ordered dragons, Ysera oversaw the creation of the Eye of Ysera within the Dream (126).
The Incarnates
Tumblr media
Thanks to Fyrakk’s help, Iridikron discovered the means by which primal dragons could imbue themselves with elemental energies and become Incarnates. It is unclear if this means Fyrakk uncovered the crucial knowledge, or if his being the first to survive the process simply helped Iridikron crack the code in his own discoveries (though the latter seems more likely) (33-34).
Hundreds of primal dragons perished in the initial attempts to infuse themselves with elemental powers. Fyrakk was the first to succeed, followed by Iridikron, who then helped Raszageth through the necessary rituals (31, 32, 36). Iridikron did not consult Fyrakk when he opted to add Raszageth to the Incarnates’ ranks, something which greatly angered the fire dragon (31).
While ideologically opposed to visage forms, the Incarnates decided taking on forms rooted in the elements could give them a tactical advantage in the war (116).
Fyrakk
Fyrakk is Alexstrasza’s cousin. He was the one who taught the Dragon Queen how to hunt and fight (21, 179, 248).
Iridikron
Neltharion and Iridikron had long been rivals by this time, though they were once close thanks to their shared interests in the earth. While it is unclear exactly when they grew apart, it seems likely their disagreements over the titans’ gifts caused a rift to form between the two dragons (22, 86, 124).
Even as an Incarnate, Iridikron was smaller than Neltharion (124).
Though Alexstrasza was close friends with Vyranoth and cousin to Fyrakk, she had never actually met Iridikron (22).
Iridikron had a sister named Ikronia who willingly submitted to Order magic and became a black dragon (70-71). Few of the primalists knew she even existed (169). Though allied with the Primalists, she perished at Raszageth’s hands during the Incarnate’s attack on the Reach (148).
Vyranoth
Vyranoth initially thought Iridikron no better than the Aspects, having altered himself for the sake of power just like them (46). Though he obsessively sought to recruit her to his side, she refused to pick either him or Alexstrasza over each other, instead desiring peace and neutrality (49).
Vyranoth hadn’t laid a clutch of her own in centuries, having declined to take a new mate ever since Galakrond slew her last one (50).
Alexstrasza and Vyranoth used to meet for a hunt at least once a season (61).
Razviik, once of the proto-drakes Vyranoth had taken under her wing, was the one to bestow the moniker “the Frozenheart” upon her (206).
The Mortals
A tribe of trolls took up residence in Apex Canopy, a small region in southwestern Waking Shores. Having seen that they would shape the fate of the world in time, Nozdormu informed Neltharion who then told the other Aspects of his plans to reach out to them. Each of the Aspects, cloaked in an invisibility spell by Malygos, descended upon the settlement to investigate the mortals (63-65).
Neltharion claimed the trolls migrated to the Broodlands from larger well-established civilizations in the south (65).
The Aspects debated over how best to approach the mortals. Ysera thought they shouldn’t interfere with their development, but Nozdormu insisted a relationship between dragonkind and the mortal races would be important in times to come (65-66).
Ysera was the first one to propose the dragons don visage forms to empathize with and understand the mortals (66-67).
Malygos initially wove illusions around the Aspects, trying to mimic mortal forms to little avail (67).
Alexstrasza eventually sent emissaries to the mortals cloaked in temporary visages developed by Malygos (103).
Both the green and red dragonflights took to visage forms much more quickly than any of the other flights. As a result, the mortals forged strong bonds with the green dragonflight and moved in great numbers to the Emerald Plains (112, 131).
After five years, the mortal settlements in the Broodlands grew to triple their initial size (103).
By this time, mortals had trained wolves to hunt alongside them (104).
The dragonflights began forging relationships with Northrend’s indigenous mortal races as well (111).
The dragons gifted technology and knowledge of projectile weapons to the mortal tribes living in Apex Canopy so that they could defend themselves in the event of an attack (176).
Locations in Lore
Tumblr media
The Aspects were the ones who conceived of Valdrakken, not the titan keepers. That said, Tyr may very well have influenced its building by teaching Alexstrasza about cities (4, 11).
While the Dragon Isles were originally known as the Broodlands, the vast expanse of territory beyond them - stretching far into modern-day Northrend - was called the ‘Dragonwilds’. The Aspects’ law covered the disparate territories of the Broodlands, but did not extend to the Dragonwilds. As a result, many primal dragons averse to the titans’ influence chose to live there instead of the Dragon Isles (14, 31-32).
Iridikron was rather reclusive and usually kept to his underground den, a place called Harrowsdeep near the Stormscale mountain range, part of what is now known as Northrend (22, 31, 39). Vyranoth’s aerie was in the ‘Frozen Fangs’ - likely Icecrown - while Fyrakk made his home in the ‘Caldera’ (33, 49, 81).
Raszageth’s aerie, the Whorl, was the closest of the Incarnates’ dwellings to the Broodlands (169).
Wyrmrest Temple was constructed simultaneously with Valdrakken (32).
Twenty years after Wyrmrest Temple was built, construction finished on the Obsidian Citadel. Shortly after that, Vakthros was completed as well (43-44).
Alexstrasza had an upper tier added to the Ruby Life Pools two centuries later after its original establishment (48).
Construction on the Vault of the Incarnates was completed after twenty-five years (222-223).
Stormsunder Crater, a region in the eastern part of the Forbidden Reach, was formed when Raszageth crashed to the ground during her assault on Neltharion’s dracthyr (154).
The mountain range at the northern edge of the Dragon Isles is called the Scalecracker Peaks (159).
The mountain range housing the Obisidian Citadel is called the Black Mountains (254).
The mountain range on the eastern edge of Thaldraszus was one of the tallest mountain ranges in northern Kalimdor, rivaled only by the Storm Peaks (266).
Some of the many new regions mentioned in the War of the Scaleborn, exact locations unspecified, include: Icewing Rift, the Molten Abyss, Emberstone, the Glacial Maw, Frostfire Chasm, Cinderfrost Vale (220, 237, 249, 254).
Sawtooth Mountain was near Wyrmrest Temple (336).
The Icebound Eye was a natural sinkhole in the Frozen Fangs (294).
The earth tendrils curving around the Vault of the Incarnates are not naturally occurring structures. They were made when Neltharion ossified lava Iridikron pulled from the surrounding magma pools during their confrontation at the Vault (316).
Misc
Drakonid are actually tarasek who have been transformed by Order magic, not unlike the dragons (14).
Ordered creatures apparently take on a subtle scent of something akin to “smoke and stardust” (15).
Only one in four whelplings in the primal dragonwilds ever made it to drakehood. Alexstrasza supposed barely half of those even saw half a century of life (25).
Primal dragons often abandoned their young when they grew into drakes, though one brood mother - Oxoria - was notorious for raising broods with sustained familial bonds (200).
The ordered dragons’ whelplings were raised communally, allowing their parents to be as involved in the upbringing as they desired. Sometimes this meant they chose not to be involved at all, complete strangers to their offspring (53, 135).
Dragons can be identified by their scales (92).
It is not unusual for one to experience great disorientation and vertigo after their first portal travel. It can take hours to recover (259).
Captain Drine has been guarding Valdrakken ever since the War of the Scaleborn (305).
The dragons were under the impression that they needed titan keepers to create more Aspects (322, 326).
The Dragon Isles are the djaradin’s ancestral lands (334).

So apparently auri limbal rings (the outer ring on an auri eye) are created through magical means and not determined by genetics, and thus that is why they can be changed through the aesthetician.
Very, very interesting bit of lore!

Joshua Izzo Q & A from Omaticon
Kaltxì ma frapo! Here’s some of the info that I’m allowed to share from the Q & A with Lightstorm Entertainment’s Vice President of Franchise Development, Joshua Izzo!
  - Neytiri’s new ikran does in fact have a name, given to it by Zoe herself on set! The name, however, has not been shared publicly yet.
- Quaritch’s ikran does not have a name, though there will probably be a name forthcoming as they focus on that ikran more.
- After the death of an ikran, like with Seze, there is a mourning period that a person goes through before returning to rebond with another ikran.
- “Toruk: First Flight” is canonical
- None of the older games are canon, only “Reckoning” and the upcoming “Frontiers of Pandora” are canon, though in different spheres.
- The Survival Guide is being phased out in it’s regard to canon material.
- There is no information on how Amirita is used to prevent human aging.
- The word “tribe” shouldn’t be used due to it’s connotations in western society for referring to indigenous people. Instead, the word “clan” is preferable.
- The other reef clans are similar to the Metkayina, but are their own clans, and have their own pods of tulkun.
- There is no written language, only pictograms.
- Na’vi have significantly longer lifespans, going up 100+ years. This same aging applies to the avatars.
- If you’re having issues with PAD (Post-Avatar Depression), you should try going outside and appreciating the natural world around you. Pandora is a metaphor for Earth.
- “Avatar is a marathon, not a sprint.” Due to the size of the world and it’s lore, there will be a more gradual release of information.

What would be the reaction of Sticker and Gloss if they saw how their other father from another universe Fresh, gets along, with his children, and they live happily, would they...be upset???
"If Sticker and Gloss saw another universe where they all weren't parasites and didn't try to kill each other then honestly it would depress Sticker because of jealousy (he wish he had a fun and simple life like that) and as for Gloss, she would still be upset because of the burning hatred of Fresh she has either way and will never see him in a good light. She'd still be out for blood 😂 . Allow me to draw the official reaction of how it would be✨" - Unhealing

The Nexus has a new mod for Elminster.
Tumblr media
Aside from being a homage to the Gandalf Big Naturals meme, Mystra has canonically turned Elminster into a woman for a few years to expand his understanding of the Weave.
Elmira, as she was known during these years, didn't have a long white beard of course, but it's still pretty funny how lore-accurate a meme mod is. :P

Hello Chino!
First of all I wanted to thank you for the great work you've done to made Eldarya and Dolce flirt (is the name of the Italian version☺️).
I wanted to ask about something that was never really explained...if you can of course!
Why does Ezrael dislike to be touched? Is it because he is germophobic or because of some past trauma😩😩?
hi ! thank you 🥰
I must say there is not always a super deep explanation for everything. And here is the case. Ez just doesnt like being "surprised" by someone entering his private space and touching him. He prefers being the one to initiate a contact, being in control of a situation overall. But nothing about being germophobic or a pastr trauma or anything so peculiar. Have a nice day !

Welcome to the Clan of Drifting Icecaps
To celebrate the Crystalline Gala, I have been working to update my on-site lore thread in the Flight Rising Forums.
If you are fan of lore lairs, enjoy making clan alliances, or engaging in short-form roleplay such as through clan letters and mail I think you'll find something to enjoy here.
My thread has existed since 2017, but many of these sections had not been updated since 2019. The following sections have had major overhauls:
• Introduction post has had artwork added + a current events section • Clan timeline has been completely updated to a new format with years added to show lengths of time and give everyone more proper ages • "The Leaders" segment, which is a 2nd person POV tour of the clan that introduces you to the main leaders, has been updated to match the current timeline of events. The old version has been reposted in the thread and linked to compare how clan life was previously. • Clan Roles section has been updated to the current timeline including dragons that are officially in the clan despite being in my 'projects' tab • Lair Statistics bonus section has been updated
Other areas are still a WIP but will hopefully be updated soon! You can also learn more about the clan by visiting dragons individually or exploring the #lore tag of my blog.
Thank you for looking if you do choose to visit, and I hope you enjoy!

My yautja lore and info
Some of it is canon and some of it is not. This is just my perspective on the yautja on them and their lore. There are two parts; Safe For Work and Not Safe For Work.
-Please don't interact if you are a minor-
sfw
Lowest to highest yautja ranks:
Bad Blood: a yautja who has lost their honor by breaking the honor code whether is be on purpose or accident
Unblood: a yautja in training and has yet to be on their first hunt
Young Blood: a yautja in training who has made their first kill on a hunt and hunts under the supervision of their assigned teacher
Blooded: a yautja who has completed their chiva (right of passage) and has killed a Xenomorph successfully
Elite: a yautja who is more skilled and can take on multiple Xenomorphs at once
Enforcer: basically the police of the yautja. They bring in or kill Bad Bloods
Clan Leader: the leader of the clan. They tend to be old
Matriarch: the female counterpart of the clan leader. They run Yautja-Prime along with the Elders and Ancients
Elder: an old and wise yautja who runs yautja prime
Ancient: a yautja who made yautja society/rules/enforcement and honor code or is just suuuupppeeeerrrr old
- after a Young Blood's chiva, a party will be thrown in honor for the ones who survived and for the young hunters who died honorably.
- in order to get the Elite rank, a skilled yautja will have to ask for their blessing from the council of Elders. If they give the yautja their blessing, that yautja will become an Elite and a party will be thrown. If the blessing is not given, then the yautja will be put through a trial to challenge their honor. If they pass the trial, then they will become an Elite, if not, they will be die with honor. Basically, if they Elders see the yautja as honorable and skilled enough, they will give the blessing without the trial.
- to get the rank of Clan Leader, the current Clan Leader will either have to be challenged to a fight to the death for the rank or a yautja will rise to the rank after the Clan Leader dies
- female yautja are born with honor while the males have to earn it through their hunts
- yautja don't mix with other species because they like to keep their species pure and clean. A half-breed yautja is seen as an abomination and will be killed
- Bad Bloods can be half-bred yautja or yautja that have modified their DNA
- Bad Bloods are more likely to own slaves
- most females are bigger and stronger than the males and sometimes can be more agressive and assertive.
- most yautja Elders and Ancients are females because most males die honorably during hunts off-planet. This makes a male yautja Elder or Ancient more respected
- Yautja society is a Matriarchy
- males will court females by giving them gifts whether it be bones, daggers or a trophy from their hunt
- female yautja love receiving gifts and presents from their mates
- males like to have a "Boys night out" before going out to court females. The older males will teach the younger ones how to look nice for the female they want to court. They will get all prettied up for the females to make themselves more attractive
- some mothers are super protective of their newly born offspring to the point that they will attack their mate if he even holds the pup wrong
- female yautja can purr like cats while the males can't. Instead, the males can make a chuff sound like big cats. Females are able to purr to help calm their pups when they are upset.
- when a yautja pays a compliment to another yautja, it is expected for the one who is receiving the compliment to touch the dreads of the other yautja as a sign of respect and to accept the compliment, otherwise it would be a sign of disrespect not to
- a friendly sign of affection that's common for yautja to show is by gently head-butting one another. Similar to cats
- their version of a kiss is by placing their foreheads together (for close friends and family) or by locking their mandables together/brushing their mandables up against the other (for mates and partners)
- most yautja are polymerase since most male's goal is to have a big and strong bloodline. A few yautja will have a life mate that they will only breed with
- yautja only celebrate their birthday every 10 or 15 years
- pups chirp just like baby cheetahs
- pups take longer to learn how to walk compared to human babies
- pups can be very fast once they learn how to walk so they must be kept in sight at all time
- if a yautja student isn't improving in training and is slowing the other students down, the teacher will kill the student after having permission to do so from the Clan Leader
nsfw
- females are very agressive during breeding to the point it can become dangerous or life-threatening for the male
- some males like to be handled roughly by the females
- most of the time, the male and female will fight for dominance while mating. The female will usually be dominant
- the males will show off their scares they get from the females after breeding season. They will not share who the female was since they would consider that to be dishonorable
- females can and will try to convince a male to mate with her through scent and pharamones. Usually when she is in heat
- they all definitely have a breeding kink
- more seasoned yautja will teach the younger and inexperienced yautja how to properly mate with a female
- yautja see being gay as selfish since they believe the purpose of mating is to make pups. A good chunk of Bad Bloods are gay, lesbian, bisexual or pansexual
- Male and female yautja are noisy during breeding since it is also a pleasurable act for both sides
- males and females will get horny outside of breeding season but it is a rare accurance. Sometimes they will have sex just for the pleasure. Females are more likely to want sex for the pleasure outside of breeding season
- a female that's in heat is very picky when it comes to choosing a male. Some won't be picky at all and will want to mate with any male they can get with.
- females will want to mate multiple times during breeding season. Usually one time right after another to ensure she gets impregnated
- if a female wants to mate again, she will bite her male counterpart, display herself to him or will pester him until he complies (that is if he doesn't already want to mate again)
- males have a retracted penis and a knot. When a male reaches his climax, he will have the instinct to thrust his knot into the female. The knot will take up to 3 hours to calm down or as less as 20 minutes.
- males can get aroused easily and they can reach their climax under a minute if they want to
- young males are very hormonal and will dry hump things during breeding season if they are still a Young Blood (since young bloods don't get the female's attention).
- if a male yautja breeds with anything that's not a female yautja, he will either be banished from his clan or yautja society as a whole, or he will be castrated and stripped from his honor
- in order to get the attention of a male while she is in heat, the female will call out for a male with a special mating call. This is only when she is desperate for a mate

I love having friends who let me ramble.  I let them ramble too of course, but my rambles gets a bit... out there thanks to canon lore and how many things wind up being pulled in.
Friend: “Who is Mephiles the Dark?”
Me: “Are you ready for a summary of the plot of Sonic 2006, a quick reference to Sonic Rush for one character and the implications of non-Sonic CD Time Travel as applied to previous games, a nod to Dragon Ball Z’s Future Trunks with another, and then if you have time an explanation about who Shadow is and why copying his appearance just made things even more weird thanks to his game’s retcon?"
Me: “Good news: I’m completely skipping over Sonic Forces and most of Sonic Adventure 2, as well as whatever went on with the Ancient Echidna’s Gizoids thanks to Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic Battle, and Sonic Chronicles... and Sonic Advance but that’s a copy of the OG Gizoid with salvaged data installed.  And apparently Sonic Frontier.  I’m also not counting the one Chaos Energy bit from Sonic Unleashed since you do not need a full account of CHAOS 0 and why Dark Gaia’s monsters and the Werehog thing all pull from aquatic life and weird stretchy limbs.”
Friend: “Include pictures of who these characters are but sure.”
