On top of this my father has terminal cancer of the pancreas, which is horrible for everyone already but it means that- at some point this year- I am going to be the only person with an active income in my house. I am disabled, do not make a lot of money, and the cost of living is skyrocketing. Combine that with months of Despair at the world right now, with the multiple wars, genocide, corruption and AI and the loss of control any of us have over our IP or lives and I just decided it was time to end it all.

I somehow remembered this was a bad idea to act on immediately (hard during a period of entirely irrational thought) and instead went for a very long walk, crossed the bridge I could have jumped off and during that I came out of the worst of it. I then came back home to so much love online I felt deeply ashamed for ever contemplating it, and I cried a lot. My nose is still puffy and now my feet hurt! lmao

Anyway. Yeah. There's your context. I am not going to stop hoping, making, or living. I am prone to moments of weakness and this was one of the worst of them and I am still here, thanks in a large part to all of you. I might need you in the future to defend me against this, or people who take our ideas, but I hope you know that I will do the same for you. We need each other, and to be there for you I need to be here at all.

And he's right, the injury is minor and he's quietly bandaging up MC or massaging them, etc. The silence is soothing and it seems he's humming quietly while working his magic. The Warlords and the Strawhats are all staring at each other as Boa tries not to swoon for Luffy. The seraphim are with them and looking at them all like they're dumb. Jinbei is so excited as he looks at his other coparents who are looking at mini versions of themselves and to the pirate crew and then to Jinbei specifically. Buggy is so confused and scared. He knows that Sanji is the kid of his "lieutenants" and the other three warlords but like honestly, he's scared.

"What the hell are these?" Crocodile asks.

"Seraphim is what Vegapunk called them. Look at them! It's us!" Jinbei says excitedly. "I know I've been unfairly having too much time-"

"You're in the crew!" Boa yells with a finger. "Of course you get a bunch of extra time with them!"

"But now with these you can all have a child again as well!" Jinbei grins and Mihawk just crouches down in that "Oh no God why me way" as he looks at their kid. Basically. Sanji is gripping their hair which Jinbei tries to get him to let go of. Doffy strings Sanji's hands to get them to stop. The Crew is ready to fight.

"Calm down, it's fine, I wasn't going to kill them this time." Doffy laughs.

"Oh but you would have last time?!" Sanji yells at him.

"If it came to it." Doffy shrugs with a grin and Sanji just starts yelling at him in a foreign language. Doffy is just laughing and then Sanji's legs light on fire and Mihawk groans. Crocodile sighs while Boa runs forward and holds Sani in a bear hug and squeals about no one mentioning that! She has Sanji in the air and spinning. Sanji is yelling at her now as Doffy laughs his ass off.

"What is going on?" Usopp asks in despair.

"He's our child, duh." Boa says.

"Well I'm their boyfriend so can you let them go?" Luffy asks. Nami chops Luffy's head, Zoro is screaming at Luffy for saying that and Mihawk for hiding it.

"So just to be clear, our child can set themself on fire, is dating their captain, Doffy almost killed them and would have if it came to it." Crocodile says.

"And they can sky walk." Jinbei nods proudly. Boa screams in delight and swings Sanji around more as they screams in another language and just losing it at his crew but Luffy blanks out.

"Sanji. Family meeting. Buggy, entertain them." Mihawk demands.

"Why me? Are you taking those things?" Buggy screams gesturing at the seraphim.

"No." And all the parents leave and Sanji is being carried by Boa as he's still yelling.

After the meeting Doffy, Crocodile, and Jinbei agree it's not worth trying to give Luffy a shovel talk. Boa and Mihawk on the other hand are going to give their child's captain a deep, deep, shovel talk. Also everyone is asking about the fire and Boa and Crocodile are picking apart his outfit which Boa and Sanji say Croc doesn't really have a leg to stand on there.

When they filter out of the tent where said family meeting took place they see Buggy and some of his crew members doing circus acts for the Strawhats and Seraphim. Luffy immediately rockets to Sanji and saying he's hungry and Sanji nods and invites everyone to the Sunny for dinner.

"Wait, so did you know Sanji before us?" Usopp asks Robin.

"No, I had heard of them but by the time I joined Sanji was already working at Baratie." Robin answers.

"How come you never told me the cook was your kid?" Zoro asks Mihawk.

"Because that would include explaining this convoluted mess and Sanji would have told you if they wanted to." Mihawk answers. "Strawhat found out at Marineford."

"What'd I find out?" Luffy asks.

"That we are Sanji's parents. Although there was quite a lot going on so I don't blame you for forgetting." Jinbei says with a pat to Luffy's shoulder.

"How did five warlords even end up with a kid?" Franky asks.

"Mihawk got me and Zeff off the rock and I went with him. Didn't want to leave me alone on Kuriagana so I went with him to meetings." Sanji shrugs. "The first few times I went with the others was because he had a job and then I just started getting passed around."

"You were so tiny back then!" Boa wails as she grabs Sanji and holds them close. Franky sets up the barbeque outdoor counters and Sanji frees themself and mutters the whole way to the galley to start gathering ingredients and supplies. Boa saddles up next to Luffy and starts to try the shovel talk but then she watches Sanji start chopping and slicing as the grill heats and just watches Luffy watch Sanji with the softest eyes. So instead she thanks him for getting Sanji back from Germa.

"Well yeah, he's my cook." Luffy says like it's obvious and suddenly to Boa it is.

Mihawk tries when Sanji drags Zoro to go do dishes with him saying it shouldn't take too long. Luffy is playing with the Seraphim who seem interested but confused. Luffy doesn't have a lot patience but he does have a lot of perseverance so he takes to teaching these things easily. Mihawk simply nods at Luffy who smiles widely at him.

When Sanji comes back out Nami wraps an arm around them and with a devilish grin.

"So how many drinks do I have to give out before I start to hear embarrassing stories?" Nami asks sweetly.

"Please don't." Sanji says.

"One time I took Perona and Baby 5 to Baratie and Sanji almost died five times!" Doffy calls from where he's perched next to Crocodile.

"Perona knew!?" Zoro yells.

"Yes, but she would only go to Kuriagana. I spent a lot of time painting nails." Mihawk drawls.

"Oh, I forgot to mention on our previous phone call but Sanji did kick Saint Jupiter." Jinbei nods proudly.

Mihawk pinches the bridge of his nose and groans as Doffy laughs. Boa is once again swinging Sanji around, Crocodile nods his approval at their child. Sanji is then pulled to their captain as the parents tell about Sanji's childhood. Boa coming through with photos she had marines take at warlord meetings of Sanji and their parents doing their absolute best or worst depending on the photo.

The thing you would have least expected to happen was travelling back home in the same carriage as the crown prince. You were sent on this trip with him as a means of protection, of course. It's your job as a knight.

But knights don't usually sit with the person they're protecting.

You realise what this means for you. The royal family trusts you a lot more than you thought. You grew up during the same time as the prince, sure, but you were never super close to him, only seeing him in passing or during training sometimes.

Even so, Iwaizumi has always been a very amazing man to you. Both looks and personality wise. He is a little rough with others, but kind and strong willed nonetheless. You respect those qualities a lot, especially in a leader. Have you mentioned how attractive his muscular arms are yet?

In fact, it was about time for him to get married now. A wedding with him painted your deepest fantasies.

You know you shouldn't think of his majesty that way, as you are just a knight working for the royal family and it would be very arrogant of you to even attempt a relationship with him. So you've settled on gazing at him from afar.

The grip on the sword in your hand increased, you tried your best not to stare at him for too long. You're supposed to be protecting him, not crushing on him!

"Here is our stop for tonight." The other knights outside announced in a firm voice, the carriage stopping in front of a luxurious inn. They really are pulling out all the stops here, aren't they?

Well, you probably should have expected that the royal family spares no expense for their son. The carriage driver opens the door, and you step out first, standing to the side to let his majesty exit.

As the knights, including you, sorround him for protection while walking inside the inn, the royal advisor who was assisting Iwaizumi with the work on the trip calls you over.

"WHAT?!" Everyone in the room turned to you, and you quickly corrected yourself. "I mean excuse me, sir?" The royal advisor glared at you for a second before explaining again, now with everyone's attention on the two of you. Yet that didn't make you feel any less mortified.

You were to share a bedroom with Iwaizumi Hajime. Nobody said anything in response but you could tell by the look on Iwaizumi's face that this was not a pre-arranged matter or atleast it wasn't discussed with him. It was as much of a surprise for him as it was for you.

And so the two of you walked to your room for the night. "I'm sorry about that. It wasn't my decision." He apologised, and you immediately reassured him that everything is fine. Well, mostly.

The two of you entered your room... to find a single bed.

"I'll sleep on the floor, your majesty." you offered before he could say anything. You've slept on the dirt as a knight before, and while it wasn't the most fun, you are not about to let the prince sleep anywhere but on the bed. And besides, the clean floor is much better than dirt.

"Absolutely not." the conviction in his voice surprised you. He was that unwilling to let you sleep on the floor?

"I will go back and request another room for-" Iwaizumi walked to the door, fiddling with the door handle that looked to be stuck. "Hold on- A new room just for- you!!" the door refused to budge.

"What the hell?" Iwaizumi muttered. He isn't a weak man, and you know that well. So that must mean...

"...The door is locked." both of you came to the same conclusion, saying it out loud at the same time. You would smile at the timing, but that meant you were stuck together. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but rumors will spread and you do not want to dirty the prince's image.

"Dammit... who did this?" the door was locked from the outside, and neither of you could discern a good reason as to why someone would want you two in a room together.

An abstract assasinaton plan? But then why would they need you to be locked in for it? You're extra protection, the opposite of what an assasin would want. Are they scheming something with the royal advisor? Or are the two of you just overthinking it?

Iwaizumi sat down on the bed. "Well, nothing bad has happened so far. We can relax our guard for a bit." he stretched his neck, removing the sword from his belt and placing it on the ground.

"You can take your armor off. Wearing all that crap on you all day makes your back hurt. I would know." he said, looking off awkwardly into a random corner of the room.

He takes on a surprisingly gentle tone when talking to you. And you know that isn't the case with all of the other servants. Not because he's arrogant or overly bossy to them, but there's just this... kind, gentle undertone to his voice when talking to you.

You slowly and cautiously take off your armor, looking to him with a sense of uncertainty. He simply gave you an encouraging nod in response. Without armor, you look a lot less intimidating, or so you would like to think.

"Why are you just standing there? Join me." He tapped the bed beside him.

"But your-"

"Just shut up and join me. My reputation will be fine." Somehow he knew exactly what you were thinking, and you silently joined him by his side. He looks even more handsome up close.

You didn't even realise you were staring before his eyes met yours. You quickly looked down. It's quite embarrasing for a member of the royal guard to be so easily distracted, no?

"Um, we should get to sleep, you know?" he suggested, albeit a bit awkwardly. Despite your inhibitions, you are to follow the prince's orders and suggestions. (You definitely were not over the moon to sleep in the same bed as him deep down.)

You lay down next to eachother, your entire body stiff and too afraid to move. There's no way you're getting any sleep tonight.

Even so, you close your eyes. After god knows how long, you got a bit more comfortable, rolling over on your side, facing away from Iwaizumi. Though you still felt far away from being able to sleep. You're living every noble lady's dream right now.

You tried your best to steady your breathing, trying not to make it obvious how much this is affecting you. Agh, he's probably asleep anyways, why are you so worried?

Suddenly, you felt two arms wrap around your waist, and you had to hold back from flinching. You heard a satisfied huff behind you as his chest pressed against your back.

Eh?! Is this a dream? Is what you think is happening actually happening?

"Mm, I love you..." he mumbled, and you damn near died on the spot. You tried your hardest not to show that you're still awake, not wanting to make things awkward. And besides, with how flushed your face is right now, you worry that you might not have the confidence to adress his words anyways.

He chuckled slightly. "God, I'm such a coward..." he sighed before resting his head on the back of yours, slightly squeezing you in his hold.

You weren't going to lie, his arms were a very comfortable and warm place to be. But you had bigger issues right now.

He... loves you. Huh.

If you couldn't fall asleep before, you're definitely not sleeping now. Not with your heart beating a thousand times a minute.

"Was it a success?" the queen asked the royal advisor, who nodded briefly. "Well, when I checked in, they were all cuddled up, so I assume it was atleast somewhat successful."

The king huffed, satisfied with the answer.

"Ahh, the plan is going along swimmingly! We'll have that knight falling for our little Hajime in no time!" the queen clasped her hands, happy at how things turned out.

"Shouldn't we atleast apologise to them for locking them together so abruptly? They must have been scared." the king reasoned.

"And reveal our plan?! No, that won't do. And besides, you know Hajime. Being the good respectful son he is, he would just help our knight get a new room if I hadn't done this."

Hello! Former 🐺 anon here! (I always struggle to not forget the "-🐺" at the end of the asks so uhh I guess imma make the job easier for myself by revealing true identity, i guess?? 😅)

Anyway. I don't remember if this has been written about before, but... Can we talk about Dottore's earring? The connection between segments? And fragile reader?

That little trinket is one of the mysteries surrounding our beloved Doctor. Is it just a fancy accessory? Perhaps. But then why do all of his segments wear one? At very least, the ones we've seen? I feel like it might have something to do with connection between them. Could it be a hive-mind device? Basically something that connects all the segments into one net so they can communicate telepathically? That would explain how Omega managed to delete all of the segments so easily.

But yes. Imagine if theory about it being a telepathy bond device. What if Prime gifts fragile reader one of those? So that when he's away on a mission or something, fragile reader could reach out to him! Almost like the two were having a phone call! (Since Teyvat doesn't have phones apart that strange dodoco ball thingy).

Or it could also be used for when the reader is too scared to speak their thoughts. Imagine Dottore holding them tightly in his embrace, his soothing voice whispering in the reader's head to just think what troubles them and use the telepathic bond to tell him. I just feel like Zandik would use this as a way to reassure the reader. Like, it's silence, but also not. Of course, many forehead kisses and headpats are included in this procedure.

YESSS DOTTORE'S EARRING... <3 I love that thing... :3 (Webttore and Dottore actually have two different designs of earrings so I love to hc that each segment's earrings are a little bit different, even though we see they're the same in-game 😭 Maybe it's a way to tell them apart from each other as well 💗 Alright moving on-)

Besides the signature masks of the segments, they are never seen without their earring, the mysterious blue liquid inside squishing around with their movements. What could it be? That is unknown, but the agents would prefer not to know considering it's the same color as that vial he always carries around. And the vial's contents are similarly unknown... no one wants to be the first one to try. Well, regardless of that, most would never guess the earring is used for the segments' communication with each other. Truly technology far more advanced than what the majority of Teyvat could ever dream off.

It was when you complained about how long letters took to be delivered back and forth that he realized a rather easy solution. The earring's communication device was no easy procedure, with the materials and skill, but for you? He got it done with ease. Obviously, you're elated! Though there are probably times you abuse your new privilege now. For example, even when he's not away, you'll call him. He'll think it is urgent, considering your health and all, but what did you call to tell him? That you love him, and are coming to give him lots of kisses and hugs and- he hung up on you.

It would also be quite cute if your earring could connect to various other earrings like the segments while they're away on expeditions as well... they have most definitely slacked off when you've called them. Them being in the middle of killing/threatening/general Dottore things but pausing to take their beloved's call while the guy watches them in fear and confusion.

Dottore using it as a way to comfort you though... 🥺 that is just so cute. Because sometimes it's too hard for you to verbalize all of your troubles and negative thoughts, and the words get stuck in your throat. Making it quite hard for the two of you to communicate with each other since you can't open yourself up like that. But now you can let out your feelings telepathically and your husband can know, and perhaps get a further reach into what your mind is like. The silence around you combined with Dottore's soothing voice is the perfect aid to make you feel better.

Catching feelings for Jinx was the last thing you planned but you couldn't even look at her in passing anymore without your heart skipping a beat. She noticed you looking and teased you a little about it. She's not ready for a real relationship just yet but she'll gladly call you hers if you allow it.

"Ya can stop starin at me ya know sugar? It's gonna burn holes in the back of my head if ya keep that up. Caught feelings just from that? Was I that good? Blew yer mind huh? I get it, I'm awesome. Vi treated you with outmost care and affection during your one-night stand. Honestly when some treats you like that it's no wonder you caught feelings for the firey brawler.

How she acts with others, and sometimes with you, was very different to how she treated you in bed. The most awkward thing was seeing her again during social events and pretending that you don't have feelings for her. It got to the point where Caitlyn had to drag you off to an empty room and put on her investigator voice to get the truth out of you because it was driving her nuts.

"What's going on with you lately darling? You've been acting pretty odd since our night together. Have I offended you somehow? Done something you didn't like? Then... why do you keep looking at me like that. I know you want to tell me something, so just get it over with please. Oh. Oh! I... I see. So that's it. After your one-night stand with Sevika you were actually scared to confess because you didn't want to her to push you away. You knew very well the reputation she had with her lovers, she never caught feelings.

So you kept silent for a while, still meeting up with her because you liked her so much. It was in a moment of weakness, and post orgasmic bliss that you confessed to her. She wasn't surprised by it honestly. She suspected it by the way you looked at her, she'd seen that exact same lovestruck look on people before. Who knows maybe over time you can get her to feel the same.

hey! i started OL2 demo recently and i didn't have any friends to talk abt qiu 💀 so what's your fav qiu moment so far? mine is when he told mc that he likes one of those (school-y) kids and proceed to point at mc which got a GIGGLE from mc 😭😭 they're sickeningly cute omg i just knew they are gonna be UNBEARABLE to the whole school bc they can see their crush for eo from MILES AWAY SJSKSKSK

so far, in all of my playthroughs for the demo my fav moment, rather moments (because i can't choose just a single one hahaha) are in no particular order:

i found it quire first met qiu in his hideout spot, when we showed him the paper airplane we found and he called us a thief or a wizard. i just found it quite amusing how his thought of the mc as such and how it was in good fun anyway. plus, i also found it quite adorable when pieces of paper fell from his notebook and how proud he was that he doesn't lose things but he didn't even notice that some of the paper fell already (lowkey hoping that we get the chance in-game to buy him a new one so that his paper wouldn't get scattered anymore)

although my personal favorite is the moment wherein we were walking to school with qiu and tamarack, especially during the part when the mc is like anxious or scared of going to school but doesn't actually show it but qiu KNEW that something was wrong without us even telling him or tamarack. he's well observant perhaps because of the fact that he's sociable and he's famous in the area and among his peers, which helps in making him able to notice if something is wrong or not. he's also good in giving words of encouragement and comfort which just shows how he's clearly got good interpersonal skills for a kid of his age and that's amazing in my opinion.

and the last moment that i actually was surprised (in a good way) like for real was when qiu called us pretty. my mc called him pretty when we first met qiu but i didn't expect him to actually SAY IT TOO ESPECIALLY IN FRONT OF EVERYONE HAHAHAHA.

so for now, those are the moments with qiu that i liked so far after playing and replaying the demo for our life: now & forever. i'm really excited for the entire release of the game and i'm just so so so thrilled to see what's up in store for the game.

"I was kind of thinking of making us flower crowns~! As a way to symbolize our friendship"

You happily exclaimed while flashing a big smile.

"Now come on! Are you going to tell me or not?!"

"Oh, it's white carnations.."

"The flower that symbolizes purity and sweetness? That really fits your description too Kanade!"

Kanade's cheeks turned a little red once she heard about your compliment. Surely she doesn't fit the flower's resemblance at all right..?

Kanade then proceeded to shake her head.

"I don't think I fit that flower's description at all.. I don't think I'm pure or sweet."

"Are you kidding?! You have a heart of gold, always putting other people first before you..! Sigh, if only I could be like you."

"Haha, you don't need to be like me [name]. I love you just the way you are.. Well then what are your favourite flowers?"

"Chrysanthemums! They're just so pretty~!"

"And what do they symbolize?"

"Oh! Erm, happiness and well-being!"

Now, she was in front of a grave tying flowers together with a thread.

Upon finishing the flower crown, she placed a white flower crown on her head while putting the chrysanthemum one on the grave.

"..Happy Birthday [name].."

"..I can't make you happy.. I'm so sorry.."

As more tears started flowing down one by one.

The Grand Eureka Colony Tour!

It's here at last! The Grand Finale Colony tour! Woo! I'm very proud of this colony, I hope you like it too.

For a sample, let's begin with a shot of the whole of Eureka:

Ta-dah! Isn't it gorgeous? It's a very big colony, so once again I'm going to put the rest of it under the cut so it won't clog up people's dashboards with my screenshots and rambling.

Starting on the left, we've got our first animal pens. The large pen is home to a variety of animals, listed as follows:

Laser, Dominator, Tryst, Clementine, Quintin, Nikita, Safari, Excalibur and Ragdoll the alpacas

Devotion and Mozart the neutrolopes (like boomalopes but for neutroamine, from the 'ReGrowth: Core' mod)

Verona the Cyrenian hind (from the 'Alpha Mythology' mod)

Samson the teratogenic originator (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod)

Teacup, Hayley, Portia, Nadine, Aiko, Fraiser, Salty, Chaplin and Smarmer the horses

Also sleeping in the large pen's barn but not confined by the fences is:

Calvin, Honcho, Whoopie, Zombie, and Paprika the nightling cubs (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod)

Kiki the murkling (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod)

Bryanna and Marauder the red pandas (from the 'Vanilla Animals Expanded' mod)

Tommy Brock the badger, one of only two animals in the colony who does not have a randomized name (from the 'Vanilla Animals Expanded' mod)

Elegance the baby razorjack (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod)

The small pen is where we keep our ducks. They are named Olivia, Pepe, Shrimp, Dynamo, Zack, Tipsy, Augusta, and Adele. They're very useful for eggs, and we cycle through the duck population every few quadrums so we have fresh meat to make kibble (don't tell the ducks that, though).

Speaking of meat, next to the pens are our abattoir/kibble-making freezer, our nutrient paste dispenser, and the prison. Prisoners (and suspected-mime Eva) are put on a strict nutrient-paste-only diet, so the proximity helps.

You can also see three of our twelve chemfuel-powered generators and a teeny-tiny secret patch of smokeleaf that we're growing to keep hippie-drug-cultist Gracie happy. Below that are some decorative chemfuel barrels and our sewage treatment plant.

Next there's the hot tub room with its adjoining facilities, famous for its romantic pink lighting and for being the place where Wookshys proposed to Albina back when I didn't like him.

Also pictured is the children's bedroom, with high-tech illuminated beds, dresser, and end tables so they don't need to worry about being scared of the dark.

Moving on, we have the classroom that has seen so many of my colonists pass on their knowledge to the children in a variety of sweet and amusing interactions. Next to the classroom is the obligatory schoolyard vegetable patch, which provides most of the vegetarian component for the kibble made in the abattoir next to it.

Don't mind Jesse and his square, by the way. I was already drafting this post before a lovely anonymous ask helped me fix the Curse of Jesse's Box (I love you, anon)

Here is the ship we have worked so painstakingly to construct, pictured alongside the tomb for cuterpillar Bernie, a patch of opuntia (prickly-pear) cacti from when Albina was testing one of her psycasts, and the thrumbo barn where Pharaoh, Brandi, Big Dipper, Caramel, Bellboy, Ray, Belladonna, Dollie, Apollo, and Dallas sleep at night.

The Ancient Danger has been transformed into a delightful hybrid space, as it is one part laboratory for mechanitor Fafo to muck about in, one part rec room with a billiards table, a dartboard, and even a television set, and one part drug operation because it is where we grow our psychoid plants ready for when Hussar Henry is old enough to need them (along with some mint and uranium root for funsies).

There are also six more chemfuel generators, an infinite chemreactor, and the legendary monument that Fafo carved depicting her then-fiance now-husband Kaz, which is used as a meditation for all colonists with the artistic focus type.

This is the pool room, which comes with an arcade machine, longwave radio, and roulette table. Next to it are the last three chemfuel generators.

Underneath, there are two barrack rooms. The one on the left is home to Gracie, Emerald, Grump, Hot Minute, and Sam the razorjack. The barracks on the right is currently only home to Jesse and Kelorul, along with Beau the razorjack. There's also a bathroom close by for easy access.

The devil sheep pen is home to many adorable little red devilstrand-producing sheep from the 'Alpha Animals' mod. Sixteen of them to be exact! Their names are Blossom, Petit, Persephone, Tank, Clarence, Crockett, Stellar, Dudette, Violator (my favourite), Honed, Soldier, Heather, Seargent, Fabian, Adonis, and Cassandra. Ingrid the red panda also sleeps in the devil sheep pen for some reason.

To the right you can see a neat little dining area with some sculptures and an industrial radio for recreation, and below that is the temple used by followers of Wendy, Laurie, and Jesse's ideology. There's also a horseshoes pin, for anybody who feels like some low-tech recreation.

Then there are the boomalope pens, made out of granite instead of wood to avoid any potential fire mishaps. They contain the main providers of the chemfuel we use to power our twelve chemfuel generators. The top pen contains our two male boomalopes, Hunter and Dude, and the bottom pen has the three females, Margarita, Missile, and Liability.

I am of the opinion that "Missile" and "Liability" are the best randomly generated names a boomalope could ever have.

Here is our Wedding Chapel/music room, a lovely little space that the couples of Eureka like to frequent in order to enjoy some musical romance with one another (demonstrated here by Kaz playing the drums for his lovely wife).

Outside we also have a little barbecue and dining area for those few colonists who aren't vegetarian, and in the top left corner, you can see the band node that Fafo is tuned to so that she can hopefully get more mechs in the future!

This is Eureka's clothing closet (and where we keep the caravan bedrolls too). That long rectangle building in the bottom left is a "monument" we built for the Empire, which is now a fireproof chemfuel storeroom, and also where we brew chemshine to sell to traders (and to satiate Eva's chemical interest trait).

Fafo made both of those monuments, but only one of them (the pyramid) is of legendary quality. The other is only excellent quality, and depicts "a politician playing blackjack with a thousand hooligans".

Some of the planting zones are here, too, including our blueberry field and apiary, one of our chickpea patches, some rice, some cotton, and some sugarcane.

Some more planting zones (rice, chickpeas, potatoes, onions, more rice and chickpeas, even more chickpeas, gold fern, allspice, plasteel bulbs), along with our only wind turbine and the first solar panel we ever built.

The bedroom at the top right is Albina and Wookshys' room, they share it with Rogan the rottweiler (from the 'Vanilla Animals Expanded' mod). The bedroom below that is Kaz and Fafo's room, which they share with Kaz's bonded razorjack Roxy (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod). The bedroom in the middle is where Hazrov and Candlelight sleep, along with Reaper the razorjack and Anatoly the Tasmanian devil (from the 'Vanilla Animals Expanded - Endangered' mod).

Four more bedrooms here:

Top left is Wendy and Tamarind's room, shared with Stabber the razorjack (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod)

Top right is Kawoo and Andrei's room, shared with Frisbee the pulmonoscorpius (from the 'Megafauna' mod). Outside their bedroom are also three cheese presses, where we... ~drumroll please~... make cheese!!

Bottom left is Vu and Laurie's room

Bottom right is Baz and Zonovo's room, which they share with Jellybean the razorjack.

Moving on, we can see the temple of The Wavian Path (Wookshys' sub-cult), with the tomb we built for Wendy and Pearl underneath it. Pearl is still buried there, alongside Fafo's nephew Pinovo because Wendy was resurrected.

Across from the tomb is the landing pad for shuttles and such, along with our ground-penetrating scanner and long-range mineral scanner. In the top left corner, you can also see our main workshops, which contain our smelter, smithy, machining table, fabrication bench, and animal bionics tables. The room with the fabrication bench is also where Buccanneer the drebbbd (from the 'Ebbbs' mod) sleeps.

Outside the workshops are our weapons shelves.

I'm glad I eventually decided to like Wookshys, look how content he is hanging out here on his little fishing bridge. He's close by a lovely picnic table, some bathrooms, an obelisk, and some plantations of almond trees and water chestnuts. He's having a grand time. This site is so pretty, it's one of my favourite places in the whole colony.

There's also a bathing zone on the other side of the bridge, but I... Uh... I wouldn't swim there for a while. The recent raids might have polluted the water a bit.

Here's our natural meditation area, home to our beloved Anima tree, three Gauranlen trees, and a little jade nature shrine.

Connie is connected to one of the Gauranlen trees, and she has two berrymaker dryads named Herbert and Mortimer. They're very sweet, and I love them both.

Jesse is connected to another Gauranlen tree and currently has a medicinemaker dryad named Wiseguy. A big help to the colony and an all-around cute little guy.

The last Gauranlen tree is connected to colony leader Albina, and she has a funky little acidic spitter dryad from the 'Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Dryads' mod. His name is Rolland, and I adore him. He's so snakey and fun. I should try to draw him someday.

Here's our freezer, our kibble shelves with Colonist-Gracie's secret smokeleaf-joint-rolling crafting spot hidden between them, one of the bathrooms, the water pumping/treatment facilities for said bathroom, and our single mortar with the shelf that has shells for it.

This is the majestic temple for The Path of Animism, the one true ideology for The Animist Alliance. We don't do a whole lot in here, but it's nice to look at. Below the temple is the storeroom for things that don't have to be in the freezer, which is mostly wood and silver at the moment.

We also have the crematorium and some of our fruit trees (four lemon trees, two avocado trees, a blood orange tree, and an apple tree). In the weird divet in the wall of the crematorium is an animal sleeping spot for our geriatric salamander Orion, from the 'Alpha Mythology' mod.

Here we have the obelisk marking our crash-landing site, next to our patch of peas and our outdoor dining area. In the top left corner is Debby and Eva's bedroom, which they share with Polly and Limbo the nightlings (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod).

Beneath that room is the room Brennan used to share with Debby, but now sleeps in alone since the divorce. There are sleeping spots in there for Cinnamon and Moonstruck, Brennan's steel and rock constructs, but I don't think they actually sleep, so the spots aren't used. Behind her room is the stonecutting bench.

In the middle, above the pea patch, is Barghest's room. He's ascetic and doesn't care for fancy things, so it's just him, his bed, and a sleeping spot for Flicker the razorjack (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod). Sleeping along the outside of Barghest's room are:

Hood, Elias, and Huck the red pandas (from 'Vanilla Animals Expanded')

Sinbad the thrumebbb (from the 'Ebbbs' mod)

Witch the cave bear (from the 'Vanilla Animals Expanded - Caves' mod)

Echo the short-faced bear (from the 'Megafauna' mod)

Asset the ankylosaurus (from the 'Biomes! Prehistoric' mod)

And then on the right side, we've got the kitchen/dining room, alongside the art and tailoring benches.

Eureka has a very well-equipped hospital, with plenty of high-tech medical facilities and a sterile drugs lab which has been put to use making lots of medicine to tend injuries and go-juice for when Henry is old enough to be dependant on it.

The research lab is where Brennan spends most of her time, and often one of the kids will hang out in there with her, radiotalking to get their learning desire up.

You'll never be short a bathroom in Eureka, there are plenty to choose from, and most of them are quite nice (in my humble opinion). There's also a lovely hot spring surrounded by manicured lawn, should you choose to relax that way. It is situated quite close to our rock/bone pile, but I can't be bothered rearranging it, so it remains an eyesore, I'm afraid.

There are also some transport pods that are used for the occasional trip out-of-colony or to dispose of toxic wastepacks until we finish researching the wastepack atomizer.

If hot springs aren't to your taste, you could always relax in the saunas! They're found right beside the bedroom that Irwin and Connie share with Bartholomew the ripper hound (from the 'Alpha Animals' mod) and Energizer the angora rabbit (from the 'Vanilla Animals Expanded - Royal Animals' mod), who is the only animal aside from Tommy Brock the badger to not have a randomized name.

Next to Irwin and Connie's room is a small table and two more animal sleeping spots, one for Chianti the boombat (from the 'Vanilla Animals Expanded' mod) and Bernardo the dimorphodon (from the 'Biomes! Prehistoric' mod).

Eureka has plenty of guest rooms for hosting friends and family from other factions, mostly our allies from The Android Alliance. We don't charge for staying here, as the bounties of The Animist Alliance should be free of charge for everyone to enjoy!

In the top right, you can also see most of the water treatment facilities attached to the prison bathrooms and the hot tub room.

Finally, we have some more solar panels and our cocoa tree plantation, surrounded by coral coconut trees grown by another of Albina's psycasts gone awry.

And that concludes the endgame colony tour! I hope you like Eureka as much as I do. It's been a lot of fun playing with the City Builders meme, as I usually go for the "massive superstructure" instead of "quaint village", so it was a nice change of pace. I also think the end result is a very homey feeling community, so that's nice.

Don't worry I'm definitely not rushing!! There's so much content and I'm still learning- stuff like wizards and warlocks scare me since they seem so complicated so I've been using Karlach and Lazael since they seem more straight forward for now. Astarion is definitely my favorite playstyle though- I've always loved Ninjas so being able to do 2 bonus actions is...*so* nice! Yeah- I can't say I'm surprised at the fixation 😅

Admittedly, I do absolutely adore him and am looking forward to writing for him; already have a fic in progress in fact- but I've seen a very similar thing happen to another character where he's either made entirely negative and insane or entirely positive and has to be "protected" when it's really a mix of both. Some parts of fandom I think are just like that 😅 Glad I found here and other more indie blogs who focus on npcs and niches though too so I get a wider variety!!

I'm so weak to being patronized and being talked to all condescending like and I just imagine this mean, bully male drow just targeting this crybaby Human in camp. They try to act all tough, but the drow just knows they're being a brat so he'll put them in their place. He's so damn *mean*- and he only gets worse when they run to their camp mates for help, or to hide. He steals your diary, telling you to "come get it" in a note he leaves them and they have no choice but to reluctantly leave their camp mates tent to go into the forest. It's dark- and even with their weapons, the Human's hypervigilant- but they still get taken off guard. Pulled back against a tree by their fragile little throat. Reading their most personal thoughts to blackmail them- ugh. Their crush in camp- how desperate they are, maybe even their secret kinks and desires? Gods, I'm so weak.

Oh God- or imagine a Human who's *scared* of the dark? Or a Drow who makes them scared of the dark by constantly frightening them during it? The predator/prey dynamic? *Please*. Also, self-indulgent(like all this *isn't* lmao-) because I'm sick atm and can't take large pills but Drow watching a Human work themself up to taking the medicine and just- taking it himself and then kissing them to force it in their mouth, not breaking it till they swallow, purple fingers dragging down their throat to make them shiver and raise thier shoulders. You've ruined me author. I can't do this. 😭 When I transfer my side blog to my new main blog I may have to write something for this dynamic because of you. So glad I could make your day a little brighter like you do ours lovely! Thank you for all that you do, as always! Sorry this is so long- the writer inspiration hit out of nowhere lol ❤️ -S

Like maybe the other species keep their restraints a bit while in the party with the human, as much as their mind runs wild, they attempt to show some decorum and dignity. Only act like the perverts they are when the human isn't watching.

But once the male drow joins them? He's picking on the pathetic little human on his first day. Pulling and picking at your clothes, asking if humans really just walk around wearing slutty clothes all day?

He probably gets off on tormenting you, reminding you how he's hundreds of years older than you so you should shush your pretty little mouth and let him do what he wants, afterall aren't you humans so obsessed with showing respect for age? Then show him the respect he deserves whenever he pulls you on his lap, out of the blue and without a care to whoever is watching.

It's like second nature to him how casually he demeans your entire being, everything you ever hoped to achieved he probably has already, every place you wanted to see or travel to he has already seen, most historical events you read about he has lived through himself.

So in every way, he tells you that he clearly better than you. So don't go whining whenever he steals your diary and taunts you with all of your embarrassing secrets, or whenever he takes something precious from you and make you beg for him to give it back.

He teaches you some words in drow elvish, excepts they're completely not what he told you they meant. Watching you confidently call yourself his personal slut when you thought you were saying something else. Refuses to give you his name, makes you use all of these titles that are so humiliating to yell outloud midbattle, but he won't help you if you don't use them so poor you.

Honestly one of the best demos I have ever read. Maddock is aloooooot omg. I loved it. And thank you so much for the RO povs i swear those are the best parts of any story.

So much intensity in your writing had me feeling all the feels. You are so talented and this is one of the IFs I'm incredibly excited for ♥️ The hunger intrigues me because my toxic ass just apparently loves punishing myself with the extremes in these stories soooo saw this asked in a different page but i loved the question especially seeing as there are so many different dynamics do you mind telling me what the different ROs reaction would be to someone openly trying to flirt/pick up our MC while they were around. 😇

And I love writing the RO POVs, I love being able to give you all a glimpse into their minds, it's so refreshing to write from multiple perspectives.

And this is a super fun ask :D

Maddock: He'll see someone come up to you and he's immediately on guard, he won't come up right away, this could just be someone asking a question after all. But the small warning bell in his head doesn't go away, the person's body language is too practiced... too smooth.

He notices their sly smiles as they try to lead you off somewhere, the way they lay hands on your arm. He grits his teeth, tightens his fists, and he notices your uncomfortable expression, the way you're darting your eyes around--looking for escape.

He walks up to you both, and he drops an arm around your shoulders and pulls you close to him. He rests his chin on your head and stares at the person trying to pull a move on you, with a sharp smile plastered on his face. His size and expression are very intimidating to the average person so he's definitely succeeding in scaring them away.

That's what they get for trying to take his person after all.

The Hunger: It doesn't like the way that Firde is standing too close to you. Talking to you, smiling at you. They're too close to you.

A burning feeling rests in its gut, a white hot feeling.

Its claws shoot out from its form, digging holes into its brand new leather gloves... again. It reigns itself in immediately. It takes a few calming breaths, then it stalks toward you both.

"Little bird, is this a new friend of ours?" It looks the stranger up and down, its gaze hidden deep in its hood.

The stranger gives it a lopsided smile. "I was just getting to know this gorgeous creature, hopefully you don't mind if I steal them away?"

It clenches its jaw together tight. You shake your head and roll your eyes at the Firde. "Yeah... I don't think so, I'm staying here with my companions."

The stranger makes a face that it can't discern. Well, it will be a face that it memorizes. Along with their scent.

Tonight will end in a wonderful way, it got to be with you, and when you sleep, it shall feed.

Captain Ward: They don't even bat an eye before immediately coming to your side and wrapping an arm around your waist, pulling you into their chest. They give a lazy grin to the person trying to flirt with you.

"Whatcha doin'?" They purr into your ear.

You trace circles on their hand and shrug. "This person said they had something they wanted to show me."

They lean their head into the crook of your neck. "How about you come with me instead, I'll show you how the stars can sing if you get close enough to hear. It'll be a lot more fun." They whisper, a seductive lilt lacing their words.

You grin and nod eagerly, the stranger backs away, a dejected slump in their shoulders. Good, they know that nobody else could possibly hold your attention like they can.

Xep: They'll be chewing on their bottom lip, anxiety filled watching you from afar.

Please don't go, please don't go... their hands clench tight around their mug of wine. Some vinegar tasting piss from this hovel, and now they have to suffer this.

They can't take a betrayal a second time. Please be a better person than Kellia, please reject them, please come back home with me. Please don't hurt me.

A sharp sound pulls them from their thoughts, eyes immediately locking onto you. You had slapped them, now you're swearing up a storm. Xep watches as you make your way toward them.

"That fucking asshole, they didn't want to talk, they just wanted to get me in their bed." You shake your head angrily.

"You said no?"

You look at them a bit bewildered. "Of course I said no, we're together. And even if we weren't I wouldn't have, nobody likes a fuck-head who can't take a no."

You wrap your arms around Xep. "Can we head out now? I'm sick of this place."

Their heart sings with joy at your actions.

Maybe this time it's real love.

Fellis: She doesn't notice anything amiss, you're just having a chat, perhaps a new friend will be made tonight?

Oh, she should go over and introduce herself. More friends are always better, she wonders what they'll be like. Do they like knitting maybe? Oh, all three of us could knit together.

She skips toward you and the stranger, a giant smile on her face, her entire being radiating happiness.

You turn towards her, a relieved smile on your face.

"Well as you can see, I'm here with my girlfriend."

Her heart starts beating wildly at those words as her eyes widen. She's heard them before, but she just can't get over being yours.

"So obviously I wouldn't be interested in spending time with you, like I had said... multiple times." You turn away from the stranger and take her by the hand dragging her away.

"What's going on, honey? Was that not a new friend?'

You frown. "Unfortunately, they're not worthy enough to be your friend, or mine. How about we go home and make some tea and cakes, my heart?"

Fellis starts flapping her hands in excitement. "We are SO knitting tonight! Do you fancy a new scarf?"

You chuckle. "Sure, Fel. That sounds nice."

This is going to be a great night!

Okay I'm the annon from this ask and OMG I JUST REMEMBERED BOOK 2 SAVANACLAW we literally slept there🤩 and they're the category i was also going(but the sleep thing could also extend to the others)

So going with canon and stuff i can just imagen a very stressed lion thinking we're/Yuu is dieing each time they go to sleep keeping him awake. Probably swayed his decision more onto helping us so we get out quicker ☠️ (saved throat ig)

could make them loose sleep(make them grouchy), try to talk to us by knocking on the door disrupting our sleep and Leona's ☠️, ect (what makes it funnier to me is that this could apply to not only the Canon characters but NPCs too)

The heart attack we would give leona. That got me thinking.

Leona had just let the herbivore sleep in his dorm. Now he has to share his room for the night?

What a pain.

Walking into the bedroom, the gray furball yaps something that he couldn't care less about. So after telling them to shut up and to not dare wake him, he falls asleep.

Many hours go by in the blink of an eye when he's asleep.

So then, after Ruggie woke him up, he went to get ready for morning training.

But Ruggie stopped talking.

That's odd.

Leona turned around and saw Ruggie standing next to the herbivore.

He had tried to wake them up... but they didn't respond.

That was when he heard it. (Or, in this case, didn't).

The herbivore's heart was not beating.

Both of them began to panic

Someone had died in their dorm.

Grim was panicking along with them. Since it's always Yuu waking them up, he wouldn't know about the deep sleep either.

The comotion reached the rest of the dorm, and now there were Savanaclaw mobs flocking to the dormleader's room to see what was happening.

They eventually heard a small, faint heartbeat from Yuu.

They all froze.

Leona abandoned all dignity and started shaking Yuu awake.

They eventually started to wake up, and they groaned.

Everyone started fretting over them, asking if they were alright.

"Yeah, I'm fine. What happened?"

"Grrrrr. Herbivore, you have quite some nerve."

"Shyihihihihi. Did you get scared, Leona?"

"Shut up! I just didn't want my sheets smelling of dead corpse."

Everyone was asking what the hell happened to Yuu when they noticed they were quite sickly and groggy looking.

Yuu told them through wheezes and groans that they were in deep sleep. The most important time during rest, and because they interrupted it, they would be feeling bad for the next few hours. Maybe even the whole day.

Leona thought it as a suitable enough punishment for embarrassing him like that.

Maybe he should really help them with thier contract after all.

He won't admit it. But when the Prefect goes into deep sleep every night, it freaks him out.
