(Spoilers for Twisted Wonderland Chapter 7-53/54)
Imagine...
You stand before Malleus Draconia, consumed by blot and seething as you and Silver denounce his domain of endless, beautiful dreams.
His sneer prickles like static. You're ready for the worst, for the consequences of his angry, petulant power trip, but then- he laughs. A familiar sound that you would easily be lost in if not for the mirthless tone and pitch-black ink crowning his brow. You ground yourself against the ache in your chest.
“As the king of this peaceful eternity I should quash any rebellion outright. However," the tainted prince lingers, his gaze heavy and leering as it fixates upon only you.
"For you, Child of Man, I’ll play along with this hero act."
Something wistful and mischevious sparks in his eyes. Malleus had felt quite jealous at how each overblot brought you much closer to the others. How wonderful, then, that you awakened from your eternal dream to share this with him.
Except he would not lose to you like the others.
You shudder and realize your goosebumps aren't from his gaze. The charged air grows with the green light that gathers around him.
“Well then, Child of Man… come for me if you dare."

🗣️: "It's so boring to read books"
No bro, it's the most wonderful feeling anyone can experience. Watching some of the most beautiful words flow effortlessly on a piece of paper unveiling the most show-shattering storyline with those beautiful beautiful flawed characters who make us feel at home every damn we enter their universe is what not everyone can understand.

Vincent Price with his beloved dog, Joe circa 1961.
From his book, The Book of Joe - About a Man And His Dog, he writes,
"This is a tale of how I went to the dogs or, to be numerically correct, to the dog. Now please do not expect this book to end with a glorious proclamation of rehabilitation. Not a chance. After fourteen years I'm incurably hooked on, intoxicated by, and addicted to - my dog Joe."
This made me smile so big!! I needed this so bad. He seemed like such a sweet fella. And I'm honored to be his fan.

In all the fuss about love triangles, literature has forgotten the joy of the complicated love chains. Where the girl is in love with one boy, and doesn't notice the other boy who's hopelessly in love with her, and then that boy is breaking the heart of a different girl who's pining over him, and so on and so forth until you finally pair these people up and reach the end of your gloriously convoluted Victorian serial novel.
