Ava Silva is either some kind of emergency responder (EMT, Police officer, etc) or a half vigilante citizen. Her nickname (inspired by Hozier) is Angel/Halo, since an edit of her being called the ‘Angel of small death and the codeine scene’ went viral. The reason the edit was made is because she has a talent for finding and saving victims of OD, with many survivors describing an ‘angel’ saving them. She is also very charismatic and flirtatious.

Enter Beatrice Young - a woman who escaped her parents and tried to rebel. Her one night stint of rebellion ended with her meeting this ‘angel’. But after she finds a stranger passed out in an alleyway and the angel appears once again, they have an odd fascination with each other. Beatrice starts tipping Ava off, but then they eventually fall for each other.

note - ava is dedicated to saving victims of od because Sister Francis got her addicted to drugs in an effort to control her. she nearly died, but didn’t and vowed to save people from the same fate
