JSoup is very happy about Jacky's lil tooth gap which he thinks is the cutest thing ever. He lowkey doesn't care about not making it any further because honestly, he wasn't getting the starts and he wasn't expecting the starts and he never knows where he's gonna be, maybe it'll be a cup contender, maybe it won't, he's just along for the ride.

Leon and Connor are fighting, because one of them thinks that they should head down to Florida to support Matthew even though they've only just been kicked out of the playoffs themselves, and the other one thinks they should give themselves a couple of weeks together to lick their metaphorical wounds and just be with each other. It is not the way round we expect.

Jeff is cheering on Carolina like he's never cheered any team on before and if you ask him he'll say it's just because they're his old teammates but truly it's because he just wants the panthers to lose...

Sid and Nate had a brief moment of "should we just go to worlds?" and then decided they were far too old and are on holiday in the sunshine working on their golf

He didn’t plan on saying it, but he was just so happy in that moment that he couldn’t hold it back any longer.

It was during a game. You were watching and cheering them on as always but it was the first time that you were wearing his jersey. He didn’t recognize it at first but when you put your hands in the air he could see his number on your chest.

Bokuto just froze for a second and looked at you. You were next to some friends, screaming and cheering him on. Your smile reminded him of the first sunshine after a long storm. So bright and beautiful, he couldn’t believe that you were his s/o.

Without even thinking he sprinted into your direction, ignoring the calls of his teammates. He couldn’t hold it any long otherwise he’d probably explode.

,,I LOVE YOU, Y/N!!“ he shouted as loud as he could. He didn’t care that people started staring at you.

You could feel your cheeks burning and the stares from the others. But to be honest you didn’t really care because you love him too. ,,I love you, too!“ you weren’t as loud as he but he could hear you, right before someone from his team grabbed his collar and put him on the field again.

Bokuto was smiling the whole game through and played even better and more enthusiastic. Every once in a while he looked at you and formed a ,,I love you,“ with his lips.

After the game, he came to you as fast as possible. His hair was still wet from the shower and he wasn’t wearing any shoes or socks. Bokuto ignored all the reporters, he just pulled you in a tight hug and spun you around. ,,I love you,“ he said over and over again.

Tendou Satori

Tendou had a rough day and all he wanted was to crawl into his bed and hide from this terrible world. He didn’t want to see anyone and he definitely didn’t want anyone to see him.

You knew he had one of these days, because he was weirdly quiet during the day and didn’t even looked you in the eyes. Your heart broke when you found Tendou in his bed. If he could just see him the way you do. ,,Satori?“ you asked with a soft voice as you kneeled down and slowly pulled his blanket away. Satori didn’t say a word but his eyes said enough.

,,Do you mind any company?“you smiled at him but he stayed quiet anyway. Tendou just moved to the side and you layed gently next to him. Your head on his chest and your arms around him.

,,Why are you here?“ he finally asked. He sounded so emotionless, it hurted. But you knew better. Satori didn’t meant it that way, he just didn’t know what else to do.

,,Well, my boyfriend seems sad and what s/o would I be if I didn’t show him how amazing he is.“ He didn’t respond, he didn’t even looked at you, so you kept talking.

,,You know, you’d like him. He is so amazing and beautiful, I thought I died and went to heaven. He would never let anyone down or judge someone. He’s one of the funniest persons I’ve ever met. He’s also a lil crazy wich is even better because I love that about him.“ Tendou was still starring at the ceiling but a little tear rolled down his cheek, wich you softly wiped away. You got closer to him and pulled him in a hug. His head was laying on your chest and you could feel how he hold onto you.

,,He’s also very smart even tho he‘s sometimes an idiot. He still believes that we don’t love him, but he’s wrong. We love him, especially me. I think he’s the love of my life and I don’t think I could live any longer without him.“ You could feel more tears dropping on your shirt and how he pulled you tighter to him.

Satori didn’t cry because he was sad but rather because he couldn’t believe how lucky he was. You were by his side and you actually said that you love him. There was still a little voice in his head, telling him he’s nothing, but you were louder. You were there and you loved him so much, he forgot to hate himself.

After his tears dried out, he finally dared to look you in the eyes. You were still smiling lovely at him and he could start crying again. ,,I love you too,“ he said and kissed you.

Iwaizumi Hajime

You and Hajime were chilling in his room and watching some movies. It was a horror movie and you have this habit to talk a lot when you’re scared or nervous. You couldn’t stop talking.

,,Why are they always splitting up, that’s stupid?!“

,,You dumb idiot, habe you never seen a horror movie?“

,,Of curse. He would never find you unter the bed. Dumb bitch.“

Hajime didn’t plan this night like that. He thought if you would watch a scary movie you’d get sacred and cuddle. Instead you were sitting next to him, with your legs over his lap and nonstop talking.

The two of you were 30 minutes into the movie when he lost it. ,,I love you, but I swear to god if-“ Hajime froze as he realized what he just said.

,,What?“ You were coughed completely off guard. Iwaizumi doesn’t really tells someone how he’s feeling. Most of the time you were just guessing what he actually wants or thinks.

Hajime wanted to punch himself in the face. This wasn’t the right time and especially not the way he wanted it to say. Hajime had planed a nice Valentine’s Day date. ,,Nothing. I said shut up,“ he mumbled and kept staring at the TV. He could just hope you didn’t hear him.

Hajime balled his hands into first as he saw how hurt you looked. Of course you heard him! How could he be so stupid and childish.

,,I...I love you,“ he finally said and waited for your reaction. He knows that he can be harsh or mean sometimes and he doesn’t even know why you actually stay with him.

Before and After Rituals

the night before a game you always go over to his house with some meat buns and either stay for a while or spend the night

he always holds onto you in some way

it calms him down

its not anything big but it gives him a good sense of peace and quiet before chaos

after his game you always wait for him outside the gym, win or lose

he goes with his team back to the school and you meet him there too

you either go to his house or yours and one of you spends the night just to calm down his head

you always get snacks and even if he tells you to not get to much junk you always get to much and he doesn’t stop you

if he won then you talk about the next match and his thoughts on the team

he’ll also spin you around when he sees you outside the gym

idk he loves doing it

if he lost than he’ll start on things he needs to do better on and you’ll try and cheer him up with some corny jokes and kithes.

Sugawara Koshi

all the morning before the game you two are attached at the hip.

everyone is just used to you “sneaking” onto the bus to drive with them

in reality him trying and failing horribly to cover you with his jacket and coach just giving up on it

constant quiet giggles at first as you try and calm his nerves

then around the end its more quiet and serious as he focuses a little more

after the game he naps on you the whole way home

if he wins you get to listen to his rambling about some idea he had on signals he could use or a set up he wants to try

he could literally talk for hours on what he was thinking wall watching and playing its so adorable

if he loses then theres a aura of sadness in the bus and if its bad enough he’ll muffle his small sniffs into your shoulder

that hasn’t happen except for date tech and sejioh though and your happy for that

you always sleep over after the game

before the game welcome to teddy bear time

noya constant teasing for a week straight since the big dork is constantly on you freaking out

normally its not to bad and a lot of it is just of how scare he is that his spikes will get blocked a lot and the comments he’s sure to receive about his looks when he gets there

when game day does come you always kiss his cheek and hold his face to tell him good luck

def earning gags from tssuki but you didn’t hear it from me

after the game its like teddy bear time x10

win or lose you get a new weighted blanket for a couple of days

if he wins its a more happy blanket yes but he’s so exhausted that he just falls asleep on you the minute you meet him at his house after they left for the bus

plus a bunch of random ‘holy crap wait i did that?!”’s to himself throughout the day

if he loses he cries a little, blaming himself for the entire thing

you always tell him that its not his fault and that he did his best

he’s honestly so pessimistic the night after and your one it telling him that he needs to remember how it feels but not let it bring him down

you bring him up with those comments and he’s so grateful for it

Nishinoya Yuu

every time the day before a game he likes to go somewhere with you

weather it be the park, the arcade, an ice cream shop

a freaking pet shop (yes you almost got a pet that day)

he finds it relaxing to see you having a nice time with him and every time he always makes sure its a place to make you smile

after the game he’s a koala on you, win or lose

the only real difference is happy koala or sad koala

happy koala is randomly kissing you and laughing, nuzzling into you while Tanaka either gags or whines about how single he feels

sad koala is sniffling into your shoulder and clinging to you even more if its possible, hes pretty quiet too so you know hes waiting until you get home to talk about everything

course after that mini pout session hes all fighting and ready to see that team again and win

either one also ends with a cuddle movie night until like 2am

also unrelated but like he’s so freaking hot when he receives so always tell him that

Tanaka Ryuunosuke

ok ok this boy omg

so before the game its MAJOR sucking up to you

literally after a while you’ll get more used to it and get what kinds of attention he wants but like at first its just a lot of complements and stares and draping

literally ennoshita is stretched so thin the week before hand by it all

no one even understands why he’s sucking up to you other than him, you (after a little), and ennoshita

he just wants you to return the energy

after the game all depends on winning or loosing

if the win he will always, without fail, kiss you like a million times all over your face when he sees you next

does not matter if its outside the gym or if its when he gets back to the school or what

every time

if they lose, well you now have a very sad puppy on your hands

mentally during a game he’s like no one you’ve never met but when he gets home and has sometime to think its all a bunch of ‘i could have done better’ and ‘i should have done better’ s

you are constantly reassuring him thats he’ll do it next time and that its not his fault

BACK RUBS ARE BIG WITH HIM AND YOU CANT TELL ME NO

but win or lose yall’s main thing is a movie and snack night

after that he’s really to go the next morning and beat up some volleyballs lol

lol he’s the most chill i think

before the match he’s really calm

bb doesn’t think he’s gunna play but like he’s ready

honestly though the biggest switch is that he’s an even bigger cuddle bug than before

like he keeps it together at school but hangouts? coming over?

better have gone to the bathroom before cause you’re not moving for the next couple hours

it’s like it calms him down after practice enough to think over what he needs to work on

after the game is the same no matter win or lose

every.single.time. he will always have a sit down with you to talk about what happened during the game

like quick nap, the meeting, then off to your house to go over the pros and cons on the game

he always has the moments when he thinks he’s not worth it to be put in the game but you always just ruffle his hair and tell him thats the furtherest from truth he could get

alright this boy before the game is normally fairly daily ngl

you get normal bouncy sunshine that will follow you anywhere and everywhere all the time

but the night before you get meditation mode where he sets out his game stuff and sits there for like half an hour

first time this happened you got scared for him cause he never sits still that long

now though you just sorta hang on his bed watching him cause its cute

after the game is the biggest depending there is out of the rest

if he wins he is bouncing of the walls after a little nap

when you finally get him home he’ll have you throw the ball back and forth for like an hour before you call it and make him lay down or eat or something

if he loses its like he lost all his energy for a little while

he tries to fall asleep but cant due to a replay of something he did wrong

you always run your hand through his hair and try to calm him down

calm down as in cheer up not energy

at least until someone says something (usually tanaka) that gets him on another energy high to beat them next time

you always sleep over though it just happens so often that it became normal

I like to think he’s a heck tone more affectionate in private

his before game time isn’t anything special though

he does come with you to the store to get snacks with yamaguchi more often tho so

after a game is really calm and slow

once again I think he’s a lot more affectionate in private so you lay on him while hes on his phone to calm down

half the time its calming you down since you were freaking out more than him

but same difference

like if they lose and he tried he might lay on you instead but its normally just like that

honestly thinking of him being more affectionate in private just makes me fall for him ahhhhhh hate this but anyways

so before a game he literally shaking

like he was fine the whole week but the day before he’s slowly freaking out more and more

tssuki will laugh at him while your trying your best to talk him out of his up coming panic attack that might come

a good light smack on his back and a cheek kiss is good enough to get him distracted fro thinking to much though

after a game is always the same thing unless he screwed up a serve really bad

you two always go to the store and gets some snacks and them go to his house and just talk about anything ad everything

if he wins its normally about the game but when he loses you bring up random things to cheer him up

if he messed up he’ll get quiet and just lay on you for hours

but you know that if you can get something about his amazing improvement he’ll eventually brighten up

bb just wants some love (that doesn’t mean you don’t smack him upside the head when he makes fun of someone tho

So overall. The beginning was a tiny bit cringe, but not as bad as the trailer made it out to be.

I really liked Fei. She grows on ya. And I liked Lady dragon. I liked the renlings

I will say it is a better special in terms of Lore and plot than the NY special. It was lacking in the love square interactions that I wanted. But they were still cute when they had them. I do think there are a few plot holes, like Eagle being an action figure. WHEN DID THIS SPECIAL TAKE PLACE. (Edit, found out it was an animation error, NVM)

Also, now the elephant in the room? Was the special racist?

The answer is, no.

It wasn't racist, so we can all calm down about it?

So I give it an 8/10

Day 1 of TMI Gang appreciation

Headcanons

TMI Gang has game nights, they get together and play, when Jace and Magnus team up they beat everyone, and Max always calls sitting in uncle Jace's lap, Rafe rolls his eyes and sits by Izzy.

Clary and Jace started redecorating the institute after they became heads, their bedroom is their favorite place in the institute now

Izzy and Simon got an apartment not too far from the institute, they decided it would be nice to have their own place with just the two of them, (Simon cooks) they each picked things that representated their personalitys and interests, Izzy said they should paint their bedroom red and Simon lost the fight, so their bedroom is deep blood red.

Once things with the new Clave chilled out, the Lightwood-Banes went on a much needed family vacation, they took the boys to the beach for a week, and Alec helped his sons make sand castles while Magnus somehow made the sand glitter.

Clary and Jace will host dinners and at the end of the night Jace will play the piano and Sizzy and Malec will dance, Max and Rafe will dance, and Clary will sit by Jace watching him play, with the look of pride and love mixed.

Clary and Jace will babysit Max and Rafe often, Max always asks when they are going to have a baby, he says he wants to hold a baby and wants a cousin, Jace will look at Clary with puppy dog eyes and she finally gave in and they started trying, besides Clary had wanted to have a baby after Max and Rafe, she realized how fun kids are and how fulfilling it is to take care of them. They hadn't told anyone they were trying though. And it took them a while before Clary did get pregnant, they were worried they may not be able to, and just when they were sad and about done for a bit, Clary took one and it was positive, she was so excited she ran to Jace right then and told him, he started crying in her arms and so was she, they couldn't wait, they didn't tell anyone she was pregnant until after the first trimester, it was scary in the beginning.

Izzy and Simon are still waiting to start their family, Izzy isn't ready yet and Simon said he isn't quite ready either. but they both agree that one day they will probably have a kid or 2, but they feel fulfilled being an Aunt and Uncle right now.

When Clace told Magnus and Alec they were having a baby, Alec teared up a little and said "I'm gonna be an uncle?" They were surprised Alec teared up but Jace hugged him and was happy he was so happy, Magnus went to Clary and told her she could always have Catarina as her doctor, he told her Catarina was an excellent choice, and Clary did pick Catarina to help her, Jace read up on as much as he could, and Catarina checked on Clary and the baby regularly, it brought her a little closer to Catarina.

When Izzy found out she jumped hugged Jace and almost took him to the ground, Simon hugged Clary gently saying he didn't want to hurt the baby, Clary couldn't help but laugh, and Izzy hugged her too, Jace and Simon hugged without refusing for once.

Magnus decided he would throw a party for Clary and Jace once it was close to the baby coming (it was an excuse to throw another party) and Alec helped.

Max and Rafe would talk to Clary's stomach, Rafe saying "hi, I can't wait to meet you." And Max would have full conversations with the baby, Jace would watch and just enjoy his family, his nephews who he would do anything for and always keep safe, Clary knew he was going to be an amazing Dad.

When they found out the baby was a girl they were very excited and started looking for a name, Max said they should name her flower, he said "cause she'll be pretty just like flowers." And Jace broke down crying and hugged him, he had gotten more emotional since Clary became pregnant and she thought I am the one that's supposed to be over emotional 😂.

Izzy enjoys shopping for her Nephews and unborn Niece, she got Clace many onesies that said stuff like "I am a badass baby" and had one made that says "Fairheron #1" she insisted that Clace make their kids last name Fairheron, Clace said it can be a nickname but not last name 😂🤭, they love the onesies tho

Izzy got Max and Rafe shirts that day "Team Malec" Magnus loves them and Alec secretly does as well, the boys wear them all the time

Izzy cried when she met her niece for the first time, she told her "I'm gonna teach how to be a little badass baby girl."

Simon loves his niece and often watches starwars when he is holding her to give Clace a break

Magnus has gotten them many glitter onesies

Alec will rock her to sleep and she always sleeps for a long time in her uncle's arms

Catarina delivered Clace's daughter and is officially Aunt Cat

Ragnor worries that this baby may turn out to be too powerful 🤣

Lily when she first met Clace's baby asked "how did you help make such an adorable baby Jason?" And Jace gasped jokingly offended, and Lily and Jace actually laughed together

Maia and Bat offered to babysit if Clary ever needed it, cause everyone loves this little girl

Max and Rafe are super protective of her and Max has said "I'll stab anyone like Uncle Jace stabs demins if anyone ever hurts her" and they all laughed at that, but Max is serious.

Clary and Jace still had a hard time believing they were parents, and some days Jace was still shocked at how much love he has in his life now, life is a funny thing he thought

Clary and Jace can often be caught snuggling their new baby even when there's paperwork to be done, they can't help it.

What Subjects I Think LOK Characters Would Teach:

Lin: PE, obviously. Dating Kya and all the kids are happy cause there’s a noticeable shift in Lin’s mood once they start dating. She no longer forces kids to run a mile every day and instead does it once a week now, so the kids are hoping her and Kya stay together. She also coaches Golf and Lacrosse.

Kya: Waffled between MILF Math teacher, MILF Science teacher, and hippy/chill Music teacher, but decided on MILF Science Teacher. Getting strong Biology vibes. Very fun labs and not strict at all. Her and Zhu-Li are super passionate about leading the Science Bowl team. Seeing these young people be so passionate about STEM and helping their fellow teammates makes her hopeful for this young generation.

Tenzin: He kinda gives math teacher vibes, but a large part of his character in the show is about him keeping his history alive, and teaching others abut learning and respecting history, so I feel like he’s a History teacher. His class is a lot of notetaking but he plays quiet music and does a five minute meditation in the middle of class to encourage kids to relax, so students really like him and actually listen to him. Also, he’s kind of gullible so they make up fake trends to tell him. He once spent a week addressing people as “brony” cause students told him thats what people say now instead of bro. Kids got a good laugh out of that one. Him and Pema are another favorite teacher couple.

Bumi II: Def gives off eccentric/unhinged English teacher vibes. Very interesting and informative conversations in his class, but things get off topic very quickly. Whenever kids ask about Bum-Ju, he gets distracted and will talk the entire rest of the period about what to dress Bum-Ju up as for Halloween. Probably plays a lot of videos. And students don’t worry about if they read the books Bumi II assigns cause they don’t think he’s even read the books he assigns. When having discussions about the books in class, sometimes kids will make up stuff and say it’s in the book and for the most part, Bumi II goes along with it cause he doesn’t know what actually happens in the books.

Varrick: Also gives off eccentric/unhinged English teacher vibes, but because he’s a businessman/war profiteer, I’m gonna have to say he teaches Econ and gives students lots of unsolicited financial advice. Also supervises the Engineering and Robotics Club.

Zhu-Li: Science teacher, probably Chemistry. She’s very good at explaining and getting kids to follow her instructions. Not only is she a co-supervisor for the Science Bowl team, she helps Varrick run Engineering and Robotics Club, cause if it were only Varrick running it, no kids would come. His intensity and eccentricity scares them.

Iroh II: He’s definitely the young Math teacher everyone has a crush on. Very chill and doesn’t give a lot of homework. Kids love when he shows pictures of his dog to the class and eventually he brings in the dog cause admin think the dog is too cute to say no to.

Tonraq: Resident DILF History teacher. Kind of a hardass but also a nice dude so most everyone passes his class. Probably that History teacher that is also a football coach, so during fall he doesn’t give a FUCK about whether anyone actually turns anything in. Him and Senna is the teacher couple that seems like opposites but actually are pretty similar and balance each other out.

Senna: That English teacher that every mentally ill student becomes emotionally attached to. You know what I’m talking about. She’s so sweet, funny, and chill so all the kids love her class. Tries to include memes in her presentations to seem “with it” but they’re like, doge memes from 2014. But the kids appreciate the effort.

Pema: Definitely the sweet English teacher that occasionally has a mental breakdown when the students test her patience. Otherwise very chill. Also teaches the Childhood Education and Development class. Her, Senna, and Bumi II run the school newspaper.

Bataar: Drafting. Pretty chill, very skilled, and def smokes on the weekend. Also, him and Suyin are that teacher couple that everyone likes.

Suyin: Dance. Super nice and always has like to of those smelly plug in things going so her room smells good and has a “good vibe that evokes emotion”. Always plays EDM or weird 80s rock to get the kids moving. She runs the school dance team. When Bataar has prep period, he sometimes drops in to see Su dance, cause she’s mesmerizing to watch. All the kids think that, coupled with the fact that they eat lunch together every day, makes them the cutest couple ever.

Amon: Drama. He loves directing kids on how to totally live a role. If you can imagine, he sometimes gets a little overdramatic about drama, forgetting that these are just highschool kids, not Oscar winners, but his passion makes the class more enjoyable. Runs Drama Club with Tarrlok.

Tarrlok: Probably Physics. A difficult class, but he’s pretty good at explaining so most kids don’t struggle too much. His main focus is running student government, which he takes pretty seriously. Sometimes too seriously.

Unalaq: Teaches Psychology. The most pretentious teacher on campus. It’s literally so bad, that even other teachers avoid him. Amon abandoned his coffee still being brewed in the machine in the staff room cause Unalaq walked in and he didn’t want to be in a room with Unalaq again after he said that Amon’s outfit “looked like something stolen from the lost and found of a funeral home”. Unalaq sees it as “telling it like it is”.

Zaheer: Government and Politics. Tries to teach the class very well but also injects his own opinion into teaching a lot. The students find him scary but some also kinda think he’s hot. Also does Yearbook. Him and Senna run Mock Trial. Replaced the old Government and Politics teacher Hou-Ting after she retired. She was that one old teacher that made it a hobby to harrass students and constantly reminisced about when you could smack students.

P’Li: Math teacher. Much scarier than Zaheer. Plays her trash ass music very loudly while the kids work. Def yells at kids. She’s kind of funny when she’s in a good mood tho, and when she roasts kids it’s really funny cause it’s usually dead on. Her and Zaheer are those teachers that flirt a lot and you know they’re sleeping together.

Ming-Hua: Art. Loves drawing and, you guessed it, watercolor painting. Very chill and plays soft music but lets you listen to your own music. Super sarcastic and all the students eat it up. Literally a universal favorite. She runs Art Club and Fashion Club.

Ghazan: Guitar. Pretty cool teacher that definitely has some weird stories. All the students know he has a crush on Ming-Hua cause they flirt constantly, but he denies it. Runs E-Sports Club. Idk why I think that, it just feels right. Him and Ming-Hua are also the kinds of teachers kids become emotionally attached to.

Kuvira: Government and Politics also. Seems calm and reasonable, but is a total ass. Makes kids give up their phones, allows almost no talking, gives out more detentions a week than most teachers do in one year, and doesn’t allow for much discussion. Everyone wants her class cause she’s hot but most drop within the first week, to the point that counselors have to say no to some kids so they don’t have to get rid of the class altogether.

Bataar Jr.: Computer Lit teacher. None of the students respect him so they’ll play Minecraft the whole time or play inappropriate videos really loud. Doesn’t really put much effort into teaching, which for some kids is a dream, but for others is an annoyance. Him and Kuvira are the teacher couple that makes everyone say “wtf”. Literally no one knows why they’re together.

Izumi: Secretary/Attendance. Pretty much remembers everything and is super organized. She is the glue that holds the school together. Most students don’t know her name though cause she’s super quiet and works mostly behind the scenes. Whenever Zuko sends anyone her way though he reminds them of her name and to say thank you cause he recognizes how hard his daughter works to keep everything running smoothly. Izumi catches on to this and always manages to thank her dad with a nice tea and a hug.

Toph: Vice Principal. Scary as fuck. Doesn’t ever call kids’ parents cause she efficiently scares the shit out of every kid, so they never do whatever bad thing they were doing again. When she has to work dances, Katara always tries to get her to dance with her. She resists every time, but she always gives eventually. She’s happy to though, cause although she’ll never say it out loud, seeing Katara this happy at her old age warms her heart.

Katara: Health Clerk. Very sweet and everybody loves her. Sometimes kids pretend to feel sick just to talk to her. She doesn’t mind though cause a kid that has a tummy ache and a kid that needs to talk are both kids that need help, and she’s happy to offer whatever support she can. She also always offers to supervise dances when the school has them and always manages to bust a move.

Zuko: Counselor. Wants to be to students what his uncle was to him. Aang and Sokka were counselors too, some years ago. And while they could give some good nuggets of advice and offered the kids amazing support, they also would totally fuck up student’s schedules by accident cause those numbskulls were exactly that- numbskulls. So usually Zuko would have to fix that. He misses fixing their messes and, more importantly, he misses them (they aren’t dead, just retired). He hopes to retire soon too, cause he’s getting too old for this, but he secretly doesn’t want to retire just yet cause working at school allows him to see and spend time with Izumi. Since they’re both working, it’s not like they have too much time together, but even just her popping into his office to bring him tea or check in on how he’s doing that day brings a smile to his face that doesn’t leave for the rest of the day.

Raiko: Principal. After Toph stepped down cause she’s “too old for this shit” (her words), Raiko stepped in. The students aren’t a fan of him but he’s not terrible. And since Toph is still Vice Principal, she keeps him in check.

OK hear me out I really really adore sk8 the infinity esspeically for its ability to tell a story but I'm going to be completely honest here and I may get some hate for it. But I personally found the final episode under whealming.

Yes there were some cute scenes during it but that was it. I kind of feel like we ended up with more loose threads and more questions by the end of it.

From watching the show week to week it seemed to be going in a solid storytelling direction, but it was almost as if during the final episode they paniced and tried to end it as fast as possible.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion! And it wasnt a bad episode by any means! Just under whealming and a tad confusing in my opinion. Some things I would of liked to of seen for example would be-

-Langa losing a race, since the very beginning he never lost and even during that beef with Adam he barely took any painful hits like the ones everyone else took, it was too op, and if they had langw lose a race at least once at least that way we could have Langa truely say winning or losing doesnt matter because skating is fun.

-i would of liked to see Adam stay the villian and be treated as such, from a writing standpoint i really enjoyed adams character up till now, he was a very well written villian that was made for you to dislike him. But ending the show in a way that makes it seem that langa and adam are just chill now?? Kind of messes with the other storyline within sk8.

For example, It makes it seem like Rekis fears were pointless, like he had no reason to fear Adam, It then skims over Joe and Cherrys past with Adam and just treats like they solved all their problems despite cherry straught getting hit with a board and Adam seeming tense (which we never got an explanation on), the whole detective plot line that got swished under the rug after episode 8.

- I would of liked to see Reki won a beef even just agaisnt a bsckgrojnd extra so that way we have actual proof that he is a very good skater in S.

-It also would of been nice to see a more flushed out example of Miya's interactions with the group.

-i definetly was not here for this whole Adam is still obsessed with langa thing and langas chill with it BECAUSE ARE WE REALLY SUPPOSE TO FORGET THIS MAN HAD A WHOLE DRONE FOLLOWING A TEENAGER.

- the ending seemed really rushed and if im honest my friends and I were talking and agreed that a timeskip would of suited better, maybe skip to when reki and langa graduate highschool and they talk about the future.

-or skip to where maybe the squad is in a Canada trying to learn to snow board

-heck even if it skipped into the future where they are all adults but still meet up to skate, it would of been a rather satisfying end.

The episode ended up feeling like bits and peices of random scenes rather then a fully flushed out episode, as tho the writing team only realised it was the last episode 5 minutes in.

The episode could of been amazing if they were given more time. If perhaps the final episode was made into 40 minutes insted of 20.

But if we do end up getting a sk8 the infinity season 2, but I don't think we will, I hope they can tie up all these loose ends and flush out what they wanted to more.

Because despite it, I still love sk8 the infinity and still rewatch episodes . These are just my thoughts tho, feel free to comment your own feelings on the episode! :)

here... take this bolin headcannon... just take it

i feel like there’s not nearly enough bolin stuff and since i’m almost finished w LOK, i guess ill aid this deficiency :)

also, i just started Book 3, so if theres some things that aren’t right or something, ignore it

Bolin HC (during Book 1/Book 2)

so you guys met at (you guessed it) a pro-bending match

you were an Earthbender for the Ba Sing Se Badgermoles, a widely known team because you guys represented such a big city and you guys were actually kinda good

the Badgermoles were constantly interviewed, put on the covers of magazines, and bombarded by fans. The people loved you and your team

and so the day came where the Badgermoles were put up against the Fire Ferrets

you had heard about this team a lot; how they lost a member of the team, then the Avatar, actual master of the elements, filled in that empty space

it honestly took you so long to process

anyways, your team didn’t get the chance to meet the Fire Ferrets before the match; you just threw on all of your gear and made your way to the play area

you saw the Ferrets and instantly saw Avatar Korra, the only girl on the team

honestly, you couldnt see her well, but she was so pretty

anyways

the battle started and the Badgermoles got the advantage pretty quick

you took out their firebender and was working on the earthbender while the rest of team handled the Avatar

the earthbender put up a huge fight, it was so impressive

he even knocked you back a zone, but you recovered and, with a streak of luck, knocked him straight out of the field

you guys won that round

the next round didn’t go so well

the fire ferrets managed to knock all three of you guys off the platform, resulting in a win and a knock out

this meant that the entire match went to the Fire Ferrets

the other members on your team were annoyed and angry, but you weren’t phased too much

after all, Ba Sing Se treated you all extremely nicely, whether you win or not

so after the game, your team found themselves walking through the Fire Ferret’s locker room so you could leave

after your team mates walked past, you stayed behind and talked to one of the Ferrets, the Earthbender

“Hey, you were really good out there.”

you took off your helmet, just like in the movies, and he swore time slowed

he just stood there, completely frozen with his mouth agape

you raised an eyebrow at his antics and it wasn’t until Avatar Korra slapped him on the back that he came back to

“You- good- were good, uh im- im Bolin.”

you just laughed at Bolin and smiled

“My names Y/n”

you walked up close to him, noses inches apart

“And next time, we won’t lose.”

he just gulped and nodded him head

you turned and walked out, laughing quietly to yourself

the interaction boosted your mood up exponentially

anyways timeskip to when their looking for the airbenders

you were just chilling in Ba Sing Se in the upper ring

you and your team were given super nice houses since you were the city’s pride and joys

then suddenly, you see Bolin and his brother walking around calling for someone

“Bolin? is that you?”

that boy turned around so fast

he blushed so brightly when he saw you and kinda looked at his brother for help

“well, well, what are the Fire Ferrets doing in my city? you know.. i’ve been dying for a rematch!”

you were only joking of course

you knew that their team had broken up after the year you met Bolin

not that you were keeping tabs on their team

of course

“yeah not right now, we’re looking for someone” his brother said

“oh? need some help?”

it took some time to convince Mako, the brother, but eventually you annoyed him enough to let you join

you were all walking through the upper ring looking for some kid named Kai, but you weren’t really paying attention

you maybe, kinda, might only be there so you could hang out with Bolin

from what you had heard (once again, you definitely weren’t searching for info), Bolin was an outgoing, loud guy

now he was quieter than a mouse

“So, i heard you were making movers now. What, getting tired of being a Pro-Bender?”

“Huh? No. I still play! I’m just doing this until the season starts...”

you were visibly happier after hearing that

you had thought that acting was going to be his permanent thing from now on

but still one thing plagued your mind

“And whats that princess girlfriend of yours gonna think about it? Ginger, I think her name was.”

Spirits you had done wayyyy too much research on this man

to be fair, you didn’t think you’d see him ever again

he blushed and stuttered out something about how they weren’t really dating, how it was a publicity stunt, blah blah

you weren’t really paying attention because after hearing his availability, you decided that today was the day you were gonna make a move on him

if it fails, then you don’t really have much to worry about; he lives in an entirely different city and you would only have to see him once a year

but if it succeeds; ohohohoh you’d finally get to live out your crush

the pros really outweighed the cons right now

so you guys searched for Kai for a while more

you decided that you were going to make some subtle hints toward Bolin

you let your hand brush against his a couple times, but never really looked up to see his reaction

then, you guys found Kai

he was stealing some old guy’s money by... airbending? why does this day just keep getting weirder?

so you guys chase him down an the streets and eventually follow him onto a train

unfortunately, he tricks you and sends you guys all the way to the lower ring

you used to live here when you were younger, before you became a Pro-Bender, and it wasn’t a nice place

only now, it seemed to have gotten worse

all of you tried to find a way to get on a train back to the upper ring, but none of you had your passports or any money

if only you hadn’t left your house in such a hurry

you even tried to pull the “im a Pro-Bender!” card, but it didnt work

so you guys stayed on the streets for the day

Bolin was really trying to lighten the situation up, but it wasn’t really working

“C’mon guys! Korra will realize that we’re gone and then come rescue us! I know it!”

she did not come

eventually, they had to find a place to sleep and no where was letting the stay for free

so they found a place in an alley and slept on the floor

yup, the dirty floor

you were not used to this

you almost wanted to stay up for the whole night to avoid sleeping on the ground, but Bolin assured her that it wasn’t as bad as it seemed

it was

“mmm here! you can use my jacket.”

he took off his jacket and laied it out on the floor neatly before gesturing for you to lay there

you hesitated for a second before sitting, not really putting up much of a fight because of how tired you were

Mako was already asleep somewhere across the alley and Bolin began gathering up some papers to use as blanket

then he found a spot somewhere away from you and started to settle down

“hey Bolin? do you maybe wanna share the jacket?”

he looked up so quickly and even the soft light from the lamp post caught his blush

“uhh sure”

and so he came over and laid halfway on the jacket so that you could take up most of it

he even offered you some of his picked up trash to use as a blanket, but you grimaced at the grossness and shook your head

you turned away from him, not wanting to be too overwhelmed by his proximity, so you didn’t notice that Bolin was staring at you

before you could completely fall asleep, a cool breeze burst threw the alley way and you began to shiver

maybe you should’ve accepted his paper

“hey Y/n you awake?”

since you were currently bouncing between consciousness, you decided not to answer

you feel him scoot closer

“okay please dont be mad at me when you wake up”

then you felt his arm cover your cold skin and warm you instantly

Spirits, he should be a firebender with how warm he was

you scooted back to meet his chest and let him envelope you

you fell asleep so quick

both of you woke up to Mako above you speaking loudly

“hey lovebirds, wake up”

since you already know of the position you were in, you didn’t really jump back with the surprise that Bolin had

“S-Sorry Y/n! You just looked so cold last night that I-”

“its fine Bolin” you smiled at him “and thank you”

spirits he was so cute

and so you guys went on with the day, thinking about stealing food, then meeting their long lost family

it was such a nice reunion

they talked a bit about their family history, but since you felt out of place, you settled for playing with the babies on the floor

you bended little toys out of rocks and watched as some tried the same

it was so cute

meanwhile, Bolin was having a little dilemma

he and Mako had just finished having a heartfelt conversation with his Grandma and now he walks out here to see you playing with little babies and laughing with them

you were just so cute

“you know she likes you too right?”

“huh?! what- staring? im not staring.”

Mako just sighed because wow his baby brother is so dumb

“just talk to her before we leave Ba Sing Se”

and so they got their passports and left to the Upper Ring

you were so excited to go back home and sleep in a real bed

but you had one more thing to do before all of that

“So uh Bolin”

“So uh Y/n”

you guys spoke at the same time

“Oh! you can go first”

once again at the same time

“listen Y/n, I think you’re really pretty and super strong, like you could beat me up if you wanted to and i think thats really cool.” *cue your confused stare* “um anyways what I meant to say was, I think I’m about to fight the queen of Ba Sing Se and if I make it out alive, do you think we could hang out? like just us two?”

you decided to ignore some parts of what he said because umm you can only handle so many things at once

you settled for kissing his cheek and confessing too

you went back home so excited

even tho your crush was about to commit treason <3

how many people are you following: 358 which somehow feels like a lot but also like way too few?? i should probably search for some new blogs with other topics than cql, bts and/or dmbj bc i do love a lot of things at once

how many followers do you have: over 800

average hours of sleep: i’d say around 7h

lucky numbers: i remember answering 5 previously? i don’t really have a lucky number but 5 pops into my head

instruments: nope, no. not touching those tyvm. i admire everyone who can play any instrument tho

what i’m currently wearing: black jeans, socks with foxes on them (plus my woolly socks), a gray cardigan (my fave thing ever!) and an orange/brown top

dream job: writer would be ideal but that is very faaaaar into the dream zone

dream trip: around different parts of asia to taste all the amazing food ;; maybe a road trip of sorts through europe? or inter railing? another trip to london bc i miss that ;; a trip to the very northern part of lapland to see all the auroras etc! i’ve never been that far north :’D

top three fictional universes you’d like to live in: i remember thinking about this a lot the last time i answered this but hmm. currently i’d say dmbj still bc that world is fascinating AND i would love to talk to the characters. mass effect would be the second one currently bc i miss those games and the space stuff is super cool! and the third one would be assassin’s creed rogue bc that is my fave ac game and i like the northern sea and the places in it AND i could probably be one of abstergo’s employees instead and just test/play those simulation games haha

Part II

Last Song: am currently listening to my playlist with just everything so i have Andrew Belle’s The Enemy playing right now (also I only just now realized that Andrew Belle also sings Pieces which is one of my fave songs? my bff linked that to me after it played in some tv series she was watching)

Last Movie Last Stream: i didn’t want to mention the same movie again or skip this question and i’ve wanted to talk about this anyway so! i watched Liu Chang’s bday live last night :’D it was so much fun even if i couldn’t understand anything. it was just nice to watch him being himself and have fun and chill with his fans. also the songs were amazing ;; i cried with Liu Sang’s character song as well as the ending. and all the while i couldn’t turn my gaze away from his eyes! he has such pretty eyes and they were absolutely Sparkling throughout the whole stream, it was so nice :’)

Currently Reading: Devotions by Mary Oliver (i adore her poems! they’re a very nice change after Siken haha) and then some uni stuff for a course about culture and mental health plus my thesis

Currently Watching: Douluo Continent, Word of Honor, The Long Ballad

all of these are amazing and make me feel different things! i started Douluo Continent just a while ago and am now on ep 16 i think? it’s been very pretty and very chill and i watch it during the weekend while i wait for new episodes to the other two :’D it’s nice to see Xiao Zhan again and i’ve enjoyed the rpg game type of feeling in it? the group of seven is doing amazing and it’s interesting to watch them craft their team work! Word of Honor again has reached the ending and i just hold my breath with it. am not too far gone with it so i am not getting as heavy feelings about it as i probably could but i enjoy it alot still and i do cry at times ^^ and then The Long Ballad has just blown me away! i didn’t expect to love it this much and be this invested in it but everything about it has been such a positive surprise and it keeps making me super emotional! i love the characters and the story and the romances even! it’s a great accomplishment for me. also yes i cry on the daily bc of hao du and bc of ashile sun’s hair haha

(i am also rewatching Ultimate Note kind of and been thinking about getting into rewatching Reboot bc it has been on my list ever since i finished it)

What is antipoetry to you: okay hmm i had to google this too and have to agree with Kiddo here. i don’t have strong feelings about poetry tbh, i wasn’t into poetry that much before maybe a bit over year ago? Siken has really blown me away haha. but i have always loved song lyrics which i never thought as poetry but then Kiddo said to me that they consider them poetry and yeah ok. i agree? so idk poetry can be whatever i suppose. i’ve never seen any rules in it anyway. i know there are many rules for different types of poetry but then again. i feel like poetry has always been just words put together to feel things and i guess that is the core purpose of every written type of art in the end right?

Currently craving: a drama as good and as personal as The Journey Across the Night. that show really just stole my heart and i want that feeling back. i think about that show every day. i miss Li Jia and his two partners. i miss the vibes. i miss sitting on my floor watching it and just sobbing my heart out haha. also! craving a properly subbed, whole version of Anti-Fraud League. only the first 12 eps are badly subbed out there. wetv has... blocked? deleted? the whole show??? i need it to my life, i wanna see Xiao Yuliang being cute as Mi Ruo and i wanna know where the story goes smh

What if the Sound Trio survived and became Leaf ninjas?

Headcanons under the cut (bitch, it’s a lot of headcanons)

~ Chunin Exam Finals/Invasion~

Dosu was shown to be suspicious of Orochimaru because of the whole Sasuke/curse mark thing and seemed like he wasn’t wanting to be a part of Orochimaru’s shit anymore so he’s the one who realizes something is up

Rather than face Gaara he somehow finds out about sand’s allegiance with sound (overhearing Baki and Kabuto on the way to Gaara, eavesdropping on Orochimaru [because, again, sus], etc...) and that’s what pushes him to defect from sound (also how he manages to live)

Dosu, Zaku, and Kin aren’t necessarily close, but in the anime Dosu did sort of say he was gonna get revenge on behalf of Zaku for what happened to his arms so there is a sense of something there (whether it be friendship, camaraderie, or just wanting to stick together to survive... idk) and Dosu tells his teammates what’s up and convinces them that they gotta GTFO

Zaku is a little more difficult to convince because why would Orochimaru do that to him? He saved Zaku from being a street rat, he gave Zaku power

Dosu ain’t having it and is like “if you wish to stay behind then that is your decision, in the end it is better for us to not have to carry any dead weight” (obviously referring to Zaku’s inability to do anything because of his arms)

Dosu then proceeds to tell Zaku how he no longer serves a purpose without his arms and he was nice enough to still want to take Zaku with him, Orochimaru would not be so kind

Zaku is upset because he knows Dosu has a point and they all leave

They (read: Dosu) decide that their best chance of survival is staying in Konoha because, the minute they leave, the sound village/Orochimaru will be gunning for their asses and also they’d be missing-nin, so others would try to kill them too

But what can they do to assure they don’t get imprisoned or killed due to having worked under Orochimaru? Rat out the sound village and give all the information they know/found out about the invasion and sand’s involvement

Third Hokage is a cool dude and also was Orochimaru’s teacher so he knows the kind of power this bitch can have over people which is why he agrees to let the sound trio stay and have them watched by Anbu

Dosu does not participate in the chunin exam finals because witness protection, or something

The invasion still happens because Orochimaru ain’t stupid. His “pawns” are nowhere to be found so it’s likely they’re betraying him, so obviously he makes changes to the plan

Dosu, Kin, and Zaku do not participate in fighting off the invasion because, uh, super strict house arrest orders???

Third Hokage dies and this FREAKS the trio out because a) oh shit Orochimaru actually did it and b) we’re only allowed to be here because of him, so what’s going to happen to us

Council is deciding what to do with them and has them staying hidden/as they were, but what’s more important to them is finding Tsunade and having her take over as Hokage so the trio are just anxiously chilling

Tsunade is Hokage now and she decides to let them stay because they turned their backs on Orochimaru and also she trusts Sarutobi’s judgment on letting them stay initially, but they are still going to be watched by Anbu to be sure

Naruto and co. find out about the trio and they are PISSED because “not only did you try to kill Sasuke, not only are you from the village that attacked us, not only did you work for Orochimaru but you did nothing to defend Konoha during the invasion. If you want to be a part of this village then you should have helped”

Tsunade tells these bitches to simmer down. They were under Anbu house arrest. She’s Hokage and they need to respect her decision. Also Zaku, let’s fix your arms.

~Sasuke Retrieval Arc~

Everyone is immediately on the trio’s ass because “we knew you couldn’t be trusted”

Tsunade has to tell everyone to stfu again

The trio want to go (to prove themselves) and feel they can be of assistance but Tsunade is like Catherine of Aragon because she says there’s no no no no NO WAY. It’s already a dangerous mission, it might be more so for them because Orochimaru is probably after their heads for betraying him and knows all of their skills

Everything about the arc is the same until the point where Shikamaru, Kiba, and Lee need help. Instead of the Sand Siblings being the ones to arrive it’s the sound trio

Zaku saves Kiba... mainly because I imagine them being friends once the trio are accepted and I just want this to be the beginning of their friendship. How he saves him idk because I’m not creative when it comes to fights

Kin saves Shikamaru. Again idk how. Zaku’s slicing sounds waves make more sense here because they work similar to Temari’s fan but I want it to be Kin because kunoichi vs. kunoichi, genjutsu vs. genjutsu, and also the idea of Kin saving the guy who beat her in such an embarrassing way does something to me, but also is a sort of redemption? I just want this battle to show off how skilled Kin can be because she was very underutilized and kinda weak in the original story and I love her so much, she deserves to do cool shit. So let her outsmart Tayuya and, in a way, she is outsmarting Shikamaru because he had no more plans to fall back on

Dosu saves Lee. Again, idk how and, again, I think Zaku’s slicing sound waves would be better here because they can keep Kimimaro (a close range fighter) at bay but I guess seeing Dosu and Kimimaro throwing hands would be cool. And then you have that redemption moment with Lee because Dosu kicked his ass in the forest of death and now he’s saving Lee!

After the mission, despite its failure, the trio are accepted as leaf shinobi and are introduced to their new sensei: cue Anko crashing through the window with a big sign introducing herself again

Similarly to the moment when Naruto spoke out and Anko threw a kunai at him, Zaku gives a snide comment and Anko is immediately at his throat, and then she’s like “JK! But don’t say that again you little shit!”

Anko was chosen to lead the trio due to her past with Orochimaru and because of that she can better understand them

~Other Headcanons~

It took the Konoha 12 a while to accept the trio. The first ones to accept them were Kiba, Lee, and Shikamaru (duh) but also Choji and even Naruto. Choji became cool with them when he found out Shikamaru was cool with them because he trusts Shikamaru’s judgment, and despite originally trying to kill his teammate, Naruto accepts them because they came out and helped so that means they’re a-okay in his book. Neji was slightly taken aback but also accepted them pretty quickly. Basically, the retrieval team was like “yeah okay” and vouch for them.

The ones who took the longest to come around were Ino and Sakura because did y’all just forget what happened at the forest of death???

As I said, I imagine Kiba and Zaku being friends. Mainly because I feel they have similar personalities in the sense that they’re both pretty cocky, boisterous, and talk shit. I imagine them kinda being like rivals in the sense of they’re always trying to one up each other

Zaku is still not fond of Shino because of the whole bugs in arms thing so whenever Shino is around Zaku is just like “I hate your teammate” to Kiba

Kin/Shikamaru could potentially replace the Temari/Shikamaru relationship. Both Kin and Temari are very similar in the sense of being an ex-villain, being viewed as scarier/more intense compared to the Konoha girls, being older by a couple years, and they both lost (well, Temari technically won but we all know she lost) to Shikamaru. Because of this the Kin/Shikamaru relationship wouldn’t be all that different to how the Temari/Shikamaru relationship is shown

That being said I love the sand siblings and don’t want them gone and because of how similar I feel Kin and Temari are they become really good friends and Kin enjoys when Temari visits. They both make Shikamaru’s life hell though. Double Trouble™️

Also I said potentially because I like exploring the idea of Kin/Zaku or Kin/Dosu (:

Dosu and Shino actually get along really well (much to the dismay of Zaku). They’re the type of people where they can sit in silence with each other and it’s just chill. And when they have to work together they kinda have flawless teamwork and don’t even need to speak to know what the other plans on doing

Kin and Sakura actually get along now? They’re not best friends by any means but they can be civil and respect each other

Team Kurenai and Team Sand are the teams that the trio get along with the best/most easily tho

Kin cut her hair to her lower back. Cue everyone cracking jokes about Neji and Kin looking the same from behind. Kin stops tying her hair after that

The trio have really well trained ears because back in Otogakure they had to learn to pick up on the subtlest of sounds in order to spy on enemies and communicate at such a low volume that to any normal ear sounds like silence but to them the message is loud and clear

Because of this they’re all amazing singers (Dosu is the best tho because he has the best trained ear. Seriously, being able to tell what someone is writing based on the sounds of their pencil? Skills.) and everyone likes hearing them sing.

That being said, despite being from the land of sound they didn’t actually know any songs because the sound village doesn’t really do music. It was forbidden because no one is allowed joy in the land of sound. Jk. But it did have to do with depriving people of normalcy because Orochimaru was creating an army of followers

This little singing/music tidbit was discovered by Naruto and he took it upon himself to show the trio music. It wasn’t all good music, but it’s music!

Also, despite being the best singer, Dosu doesn’t really do it. Dude doesn’t even hum. He’ll only sing if Kin and Zaku start pestering or if Anko wants him to

The first (and only) time Kin and Zaku saw Dosu cry was shortly after they became leaf shinobi. Anko and Tsunade were telling the team how brave it was for them to leave Orochimaru and sound behind, and Anko especially complimented Dosu on taking him and his team out of that situation. Kin and Zaku had been trying to hold back tears and keep up their tough image but the minute they saw Dosu crying, not trying to wipe away his tears or hide them or anything they lost it

No one talks about their little crying session. It’s a secret

Despite getting his arms fixed by Tsunade, Zaku still has problems with them, especially his right one (I think that’s the one that got blown off) and needs to get them treated consistently. Partly due to the fact they he didn’t give himself all the time to heal after Tsunade fixed him because he went to help the retrieval team and, mainly, because of Orochimaru’s experiments. Like, essentially Zaku’s air tube surgery was actually kind of botched and, for lack of a better term, experimental, and is fucking with the nerves and muscles and chakra in his arms and kinda eating away at them. And the crazy damage he took from getting his arms blown off only fucked everything up more

Eventually Zaku gets a better version of his air tube in his left arm and has to completely replace the right arm with a cool prosthetic that lets him do stronger/cooler jutsus

Kin has combined singing with her genjutsu and has created a sort of mind control jutsu... I may or may not have gotten this idea while listening to Come Little Children and remembering that Sarah Sanderson would control kids with song

The trio think Sasuke is a fUCKING DUMBASS for willingly going with Orochimaru. Like, bitch we had to leave that no good asshole for the betterment of our lives and you just waltz out of Konoha and straight into his arms?! What is you doing Uchiha?!

okay i have Feelings about NEO: TWEWY and nobody to shout them at because literally nobody else I know plays it which is truly a crime; the original twewy remains one of my favourite games to this day. but anyway. massive NEO TWEWY spoilers inbound:

First of all it truly is a miracle that this game even exists. I never once actually believed we’d get a sequel. Let alone one this good!! It is really, really good!!!

Things I Enjoyed:

- The gameplay. Whoo boy. Up to about 4 team members, anyway. It’s fast paced, button mashing satisfaction, that manages to keep elements from the original game while still being fresh and fun, if not entirely chaotic, which is why after 4 characters, it was a bit like, ‘okay, chill, let us switch out or something’ lmao

- The new characters. Although I feel like we leave the game not knowing as much about them as I would like, the new team are really great, and Nagi in particular really shone in terms of character grown. Rindo.. I feel like I know as little about him now as I did at the start :|a Maybe I just missed something.

I honestly found the teams and their leaders kinda forgettable >>;; Although the heel-face turn on Motoi was pretty great. I needed more from Kanon to feel anything when she, yknow.

The new reapers were... a mixed bunch. Shoka was fantastic, Susukichi was... a bit much in English, great in Japanese, Tsugumi was great but didn’t get enough screen time (unless she gets more post game, I dunno yet) Shiba annoyed the fuck outta me, Kaie was alright.. the others... meh. They don’t hold up to Kariya and Uzuki. And obviously Kubo sucks ass pfft

- The reappearing characters. of course i loved them. i got a hit of serotonin every time one appeared on my screen. neku my son. josh the reapers. i was never a huge minamimoto stan lmao but he was fun. even curry don. but some were DIRELY underutilised which i WILL COME BACK TO

- THE MUSIC. twewy cannot fail on its music, it’s amazing, it’s glorious, it’s multi faceted, it goes hard. and adding in Beat’s psyche, a rhythm mini game acting as the fast walk button???? yes. yes yes yes yes. yessssssss.

- The graphics. Mostly. Everything looked beautiful, and HD, and the character designs were great - not toooooooooo Nomura but Nomura enough, yknow? And the occasional chibi faces were great lol. The chaotic battles sometimes caused lag which... I mean, they coulda given us the option to turn off some of the animations or damage graphics lmao but hey. the forced perspective on shibuya was a bit off occasionally but it was how the original game did it and it’s all for the ~aesthetic~ so hey. And it was great seeing some of the original locations looking so much more fleshed out

- The Localisation. Personally, I think the translators struck a perfect balance that made the kids seem like they’d fit right into today’s culture. It wasn’t forced, it wasn’t ‘look at us we are Teenagers’, it was right on the mark. And it was really, really interesting hearing just how different the Japanese VA lines were compared to the English translations. They really went all out and it paid off, imo.

Dislikes: (i haven’t read the secret reports yet tho)

- UNDERUTILISATION OF THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS - now, look, okay, I’m biased. I admit it. I’m a Josh and Neku stan lmao, so I was looking forward to seeing them the whole game. And as it went on and on and I realised I wouldn’t be until much later, it bummed me out. The bait n’ switch with Beat was funny at first, and I enjoyed it a lot, until I realised that yeah, that’s what they’re going with. Beat’s probably my least favourite partner from the original (sorry) but even disregarding that, it annoys me that they gave him like 10,000x more screen time than even Neku.

Not to mention Shiki and Joshua! Josh in particular I could write a whole essay on how pissed I am. The lost potential. Nobody mentioning him, ever, once. Until he just sorta shows up and says a few things. It makes NO SENSE, he’s the fucking composer, Neku and Beat worked with him, why aren’t they questioning his whereabouts when Shibuya’s turning to shit??????’ I just?????? I had low hopes for Josh content tbf but I am still disappointed :( And naught but one singular Hanekoma mention, as well. Sigh.

Shiki, it’s a shame she doesn’t appear more, she certainly could have - I can think of like 5 ways off the top of my head - having her as a partner would have also been extremely good.

Neku at least we got..... half a week with. and as a PC. And like, I know it’s not supposed to be about them, but throw us a bit more than cheap fanservice, yknow. And Kariya and Uzuki were great too.

- why, oh why, was every single team lackey male???? they couldn’t be arsed to make female designs????? it baffled me.

- SO. MUCH. SHIBUYA. TRAVERSING. I don’t remember if it was that bad in the original?! But oh my god lol. I think a lot of it was padding. Sure felt like it. Paired with the slightly hand hold-y mission progression cutscenes, they coulda cut a bunch of those out.

Other Stuff:

- The voice acting - fantastic in Japanese, okay in English, except for the returning characters?? didn’t sound great??? in english??? I was hyped to turn English back on for Beat but.... nah. Nahhh. Nagi’s English VA was absolutely the best imo.

- They nailed the feel of the old game without totally copying it - the food, clothes, general aesthetic, music. That said, it still felt a little too tied to the original. Ironic considering the rant above I know lmao but... yeah. The player psyches were a nice touch but I feel like it needed something to set it apart a lil more from its predecessor.

- I didn’t realise A New Day existed until literally today and I wish I had seen it before I played Neo. Now I know who Coco is lmao. And Shinjuku’s erasure was part of that too! arghhhh. Nomura stop burying plot points in other things. I’m a DS OG dont do this to me

- Rindo’s time travel power was cool but jumping back to the same point like 3 or 4 times in some cases got old

- You could really feel the KH3 energy of ‘play 30 hours until something or someone pivotal finally appears’ lol. Nomuraaaaa.

... anyway.

TL;DR good game, needed more Josh, also needs more fans please

Requested by @lina-lovebug: Jaime Reyes x Bucky Barnes daughter! Reader? And when they finally meet, Scarab is like, "Jaime Reyes, your heart rate has increased" "Jaime Reyes, he wants to kill you"

A/N: loved this prompt so I made this a short oneshot! Bucky is literally my favorite person to write as a dad (Music Meister is a close second tho)

“Jaime, you have got to chillax, dude.” Tye watched as his friend paced back and forth in front of the tv. “And move, I’m trying to watch the game.”

“This is a little more important than football, Tye!” Jaime snapped, running a hand through his hair.

You were on your way to his house, along with your father. And your father was the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes. The man with a huge metal arm that could probably kill someone with his thumb. Jaime’s parents were cooking in the kitchen, his sister was over at her friends house, and he called up Tye for moral support. And oh how helpful he was being, as usual.

“Okay, but stop pacing, you’re driving me nuts.” Tye rolled his eyes. “You need to calm yourself. It’s just the Winter Soldier. It’s not like it’s...I don’t know, Doctor Doom.”

“But it’s the Winter Soldier! He used to be an assassin! His best friend is Captain America! He’s an Avenger, hermano! What do you mean ‘it’s just the Winter Soldier’?!” Jaime grabbed Tye’s shoulders and shook him.

“Jaime, let’s not give Tye whiplash, please?” Jaime’s mother calls from the kitchen. “I’m off the clock, I will not be setting any broken bones tonight.”

“Sorry, mami.” Jaime sighed, smoothing out Tye’s shirt.

“Anyways...just act like you always do, everyone loves you.” Tye motioned for Jaime to get out of the way of the tv. “And maybe take a deep breath before you pass out.”

Jaime nods but doesn’t take the deep breath.

‘Jaime Reyes, your heart rate is dangerously high. I suggest following the Tye Longshadow’s instructions.’ Khaji Da piped up.

“I told you no side commentary today! What part of that do you not understand?” Jaime hissed at the Scarab.

Tye raised an eyebrow at Jaime, honestly worried about his friends sanity. He knew Khaji Da was probably talking Jaime’s ear off right now, but the dude needed to calm down. Meeting girlfriends parents was always nerve wracking, so it was reasonable for Jaime to be slightly panicked about meeting an Avenger.

Jaime jumped when his phone buzzed, and quickly dove for it. He picked it up, reading a text from you.

“They’re five minutes away!” Jaime shouted to nobody in particular, dashing down the hall to the bathroom. He checked his hair for the millionth time that day, wanting to look perfect for you. He took a few deep breaths, finally heeding Tye and Khaji Da’s words. He ignored Tye yelling at the tv and his parents cooking, just trying to remain calm. That didn’t last long, when he heard the doorbell rang.

“Jaime, that’s for you!” His father shouted down the hall.

“Should I get that or can you handle not going into cardiac arrest?” Tye asked from the couch as Jaime rushed to the door.

Jaime took one more breath, before slapping a smile on his face and opening the door.

“Y/N! Hi, mi rey!” He smiled happily, temporarily forgetting about the giant man behind you. He leaned down to kiss you on the cheek, then stepped aside. “Come on in.”

“Hi Mr and Mrs. Reyes!” You wave to them. “Hey Tye!”

“Sup?” Tye nods in acknowledgement, not taking his eyes off the football game.

“Hi Mr. Barnes, I’m Jaime.” He holds out his hand to your dad. He looks him up and down slowly, before finally, and very firmly shaking his hand.

“Nice to meet you, Jaime.” He says quietly. His eyes are narrowed at the boy as if he were suspicious of him, and his mouth was twisted in a frown.

“Dad, be nice.” You say through your teeth. You had told your dad to go easy on Jaime, and to try and not give him a heart attack. Your dad was always kind and gentle with you, but it was a completely different story with any of your boyfriends. You loved Jaime and wanted this relationship to work out, so you warned your dad to not scare him away.

“I am.” He muttered, eyes wandering to the tv. “What’s the score, kid?”

“Cowboys are loosing 13-22!” Tye shouted angrily, crushing an empty soda can in his hand. “And it’s the last 3 minutes!”

“Told you your team sucks.” You snicker, then laugh harder at the glare you receive.

“I’m gonna watch the rest of the game.” Your dad tells you, then glared at Jaime until he’s sitting on the couch.

‘Jaime Reyes, the Bucky Barnes has hostile intentions towards you. I suggest we neutralize him.’ Scarab says.

“We’re not killing anyone, Scarab!” Jaime whispered.

“Ignore him.” You tell Jaime, in deference to your dad. “He’s a big Teddy Bear, he’s just a little...”

“Terrifying?”

“I was going to say overprotective, but that also works.” You giggle. “Don’t let him scare you. I promise by the end of dinner he’s going to love you.” You give him a reassuring smile, along with a kiss on the cheek.

“Jaime, will you come help set the table?” His mom asks from the kitchen.

“Coming, mami!” He rushed over. You follow and help him set down plates and silverware, despite his mom insisting he’s got it.

“Oh come on!” Your dad and Tye both groan at the tv, as the game ends and the team lost.

Your dad introduces himself to Jaime’s parents in the kitchen, while Tye joins you two in the dining room.

“Your dads cool. Even if he’s a Colts fan.” Tye says as he plops down in his seat, not offering to help finish setting the table. “What are you so worried about Jaime? He’s chill.”

“You’re not dating his daughter.” Jaime mumbled as you giggled.

“Got me there, man.” Tye leaned back in his seat.

You all sit down for dinner, your dad easily has a nice conversation with Jaime’s parents. Jaime listens to every word his parents say, signaling to stop if they start to talk about something embarrassing or stupid he’s done.

From your point of view it’s going really well. Your dad and Jaime’s parents easily start chatting about...whatever it is adults like to talk about. You watch as Jaime’s hands shake nervously as he eats, and his eyes are darting between his parents and your dad as they speak. Tye’s not paying attention, digging into his food as if he hadn’t eaten in his life.

“So Jaime, do you play any sports?” Your dad finally turns to him.

“Uh...I’m on the basketball team, yeah.” Jaime nodded, stuttering as he spoke. “Used to play baseball too.”

“Basketball, nice.” Your dad nodded in approval. “You any good?”

“Jaimes on varsity.” You smiled.

“He’s a star point guard.” Mr. Reyes smiled. “We’re very proud of him.”

”And what grades do you get?”

“Straight A’s, sir.”

“Do you have a drivers license?”

“Um...yes.”

“You don’t sound sure about that.”

“I’m sorry, Uh...I have my drivers license sir.”

“Mm hm. Have you had a job yet?”

“Dad!” You hiss at him, giving him The Look™️. Mr and Mrs. Reyes look between the three of you, actually trying not to laugh. They both get that a father can be protective of their daughter, so they understood all the questions directed towards their son.

You and your dad narrow your eyes at one another, as if challenging each other. Jaime makes eye contact with his parents, shrugging. Then Bucky glares down at the kid, making his eyes widen in fear.

“Can somebody pass the pico?”

You all slowly turn to Tye, who apparently didn’t realize the tension in the air between your boyfriend and...everyone. He looks up from his plate expectedly, raising an eyebrow at everyone.

“What?”

“Oh por el amor de Dios.” Jaime shook his head as his mother passed it over, then smacked her sons hand. “Ow! What?”

“Cuidado con lo que dice.” She mumbled to him.

“Am I missing something?” Tye asked.

‘Kill the Tye Longshadow. He is too stupid to allow to live.’ Khaji Da folds Jaime. He bit back his response, but didn’t let the Scarab activate the armor.

Dinners quiet after that, awkward tension now in the air. Jaime got even more anxious, worried that he completely ruined it and that your dad truly hated him.

‘Jaime Reyes, your mate is growing angry. I suggest you calm her.’ Scarab alerts him.

He looks over and noticed you glaring at your dad, both of you raising your eyebrows at each other as if you were telepathically communicating. Your fists are balled up in your lap, and he discreetly places his over yours under the table. You loosen one hand and intertwine your fingers with his, slowly cooling off.

‘Jaime Reyes. We should annihilate the Bucky Barnes. He will get in the way of your companionship with your mate.’

“Stop.” Jaime whispers as quiet as he can, but everyone could hear it in the tense silence.

“So...who’s up for dessert?” Mr. Reyes stands up, taking some of the empty plates.

“Allow me.” Your dad clears his throat, taking the rest of the plates and following him to the kitchen. Mrs. Reyes gives an awkward smile before following them. You look at The expectantly, but he doesn’t take the hint to leave and just pulls out his phone.

“Khaji Da, I told you not today!” Jaime scolds the Scarab. “Man, I’m totally blowing this, aren’t I?”

“No you’re not.” You reassure him. “I’m gonna talk to him again, I told him to knock off interrogation mode.”

“Are you sure?” He asked, still not quite believing that he’s making a good impression on your father.

“Positive. You’re on varsity basketball, I’m surprised he hasn’t asked more about that.” You rubs his shoulder. “Try to bring that up again, he loves sports.”

“Ooh, and tell him about the big win last season.” Tye smacked his arm, not looking up from his phone. “And tell him how you stole the ball from me.”

“For the last time you passed it to me, it’s not my fault I happened to make the wining shot-“

“Hey!” You snap your fingers. “We don’t have time for your saltiness, Tye.”

“I am not salty.” He grumbled, but you both ignore him.

“Just keep up the sports talk, it’ll be fine.” You tell Jaime.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, Jaime!”

“I’m just making sure!”

He shuts up when he sees the parents all coming back to the table, setting down plates of chocolate cake for everyone. You thank Mrs. Reyes before beginning to eat, nudging Jaime to tell him to start talking. He shook his head and shrugged, not really knowing how to start up the conversation.

“Hey dad, did you know Jaime scored the winning point for the tournament last season?” You clear your throat.

“Really? That’s impressive.” Bucky perks up. “How’d it go down?”

Jaime excitedly tells him (in much detail) about the last minute of the game and how him and Tye scores the winning points. He’s smiling and motioning around as he answers your dads many questions about it, and you feel better about this dinner now. You think it’s really cute when he talks about something he’s passionate about, so you catch yourself gazing at him.

“Well maybe you two can come down to the Avengers Compound, and Y/N and I can put you punks in your place.” Your dad grins and lightly punches Jaime’s arm. “If that’s okay with you, Mr. and Mrs. Reyes.”

“Jaime’s a superhero, I think some basketball will do him some good.” His mom stands up to take her empty plate to the sink, ruffling Jaime’s hair as she passed.

“Mom!” Jaime swatted her hand away, smoothing our his hair that he fixed for hours.

“Cool, can’t wait to crush you two.” Tye piped up, finally putting away his phone and opting to cross his arms.

“You wish, Cowboys fan.” Your dad scoffed.

“Oh yeah, Colts fan? We’ll see about that.” Tye challenged.

“No more football talk at the table.” You scold them.

“Well, we have to get going.” Your dad announces. “It was so nice to meet you.”

“You as well, Mr. Barnes.” Mr. Reyes smiles and shakes his hand.

You follow your dad as he says his goodbyes, give your boyfriend a kiss, then leave with him.

“So? Do you like him?” You ask your father as you get into the car.

“I actually do like this one. He’s polite and respectful.” He nodded as he started the car. “Sorry for grilling him back there, I didn’t realize I was doing it.”

“It’s alright. You liked him and that’s what matters.” You grinned.

“No, you like him and that’s what matters.” He corrected you.

“I love you, daddy.” You lean over to hug him.

“Love you too, babydoll.” He half hugged you. “Now get off I have to drive.”

You giggle and pull out your phone to text Jaime; He likes you! He says your polite and sweet!

Jaime reads the text and sighs in relief, thankful that the weight was lifted off his shoulders. Him and Tye were in his room now, preparing to play a new video game that just came out.

“Is that her? What’d she say?” Tye asked as he turned on the XBOX.

“He liked me.” Jaime set his phone down and picked up his controller. “Thank god, I thought I was gonna die.”

“Drama queen.” Tye mumbled.

‘Jaime Reyes, the Bucky Barnes still seemed to have hostile intentions towards you. I insist that we kill him.’

“Khaji Da, I am not telling you again!”
