Unhoneymooners!? - G.S.
Tumblr media
Synopsis. The universe was surely playing a joke on you. Here you were, trapped on a luxury getaway with your - dangerously handsome, extremely obnoxious - ex. Either you were going to kill each other or end up pinned beneath him, split apart on his cóck. You just didn’t know what would come first.
Pairing. Gojo Satoru x Reader
Content. MDNI, fem! reader, exes to lovers, unprotected, argument as foreplay, slight enemies to lovers, more like annoyances actually, cunnilingus, oral (male + female), spitting, creampié, one bed trope, rough, Satoru is still EXTREMELY down bad for you, and unfairly hot, forced proximity, cúmplay, pet names (sweetheart), swearing.
Word count. 8.5k
A/N. It’s impossible to not write Satoru without bullying him at least a little bit.
Tumblr media
You broke up with Gojo Satoru exactly 5 months, 2 weeks, and 16 hours ago - not that you were keeping count, of course.
So why was he outside of your resort room blasting “Kill Bill” by SZA like he’s auditioning for the world’s most dramatic comeback tour? On what should’ve marked your fourth anniversary, no less.
Well, given you were the one to lock him out, but still - the stubborn bastard could at least have some decorum.
With an exasperated sigh, you throw yourself onto the king-sized bed of your honeymoon suite, trying to will away that annoying, grating voice - not SZA, no, more so Satoru singing along at the top of his lungs to the chorus.
How did you even get here? And with Satoru of all people - your Satoru. Or at least he was this time a little over a year ago.
You first met Satoru when you were in university, back when he wore those pretentious circled sunglasses and waltzed around those halls like he owned the place. And after a single literature assignment together, he wasn’t just your (self-proclaimed) best friend; he was the reluctantly favorite thorn in your side.
Like the rest of him, Satoru’s introduction into your love-life was anything but subtle. It wasn’t like he strolled in, gave a polite nod, and blended into the background. Oh no, he bulldozed his way in and dragged you to dance with him on the tables of some dingy frat party in what you could only assume was some joke from the universe at your expense.
And damn him, you think bitterly, you couldn't resist him that night. Spinning you into a dramatic dip, silver chain brushing your face as his half-lidded eyes bored into yours. You couldn’t not kiss him after the way his hands were just searing into your skin.
God, you’ve never been able to listen to “Gasolina” the same way ever since.
Satoru was in love as he was in the rest of life - a force of nature, and it was too easy to find yourself caught up in him.
That night at the frat party was just the beginning. From then on was a rollercoaster of everything from heated debates over the best flavor of ramen to impromptu road trips where you’d end up under a carpet of stars. Wrapped in each other’s arms and sharing whispered secrets for an unpromised future - oftentimes where Satoru would crack a joke or two about running away to Tokyo with him. To which you’d laugh it off with a “Yeah yeah, I’d leave everything I’ve known behind in a heartbeat for your dumbass, Toru.”
You just didn’t think that it would be the downfall to your relationship. All the empty promises.
Because as those heavenly days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, eventually two years had gone by. The whirlwind romance settled into a comfortable rhythm, but with it came the looming promise of graduation and Satoru moving to work under his family company in Tokyo.
Under pressure, it wasn’t long before the cracks began to show, the arguments more frequent, and the silences more deafening. And as your relationship slowly turned into nothing more than a husk of what it used to be - so did the both of you.
Long story short, graduation was a bittersweet goodbye - and you think both of you knew long before it was actually over. Neither of you attended the afterparty - with Satoru on a flight straight to Tokyo and you at home to stuff your face with chocolate. Hey, at least you could blame your tears on finally leaving university, right?
You had meticulously erased his name from your phone, your social media, and even your dreams - well, almost, the bastard still came around to bother you occasionally. It was messy, painful, and final.
But “final” really didn’t explain your current predicament. Because if there’s one thing you’ve learned about Satoru is that he’s always there - whether you liked it or not. He was there when you needed a partner for that literature assignment, and he was there to turn your world upside down at that dingy frat party.
Hell, he was even there to help you stubbornly chug mountains of ice cream and win that raffle for this five day-long getaway trip to the Maldives. Though, you think he might’ve chugged the ice cream without the promise of a vacation anyway.
But, when ultimately those shiny tickets came in the mail - Satoru wasn’t there. Oh well, it might’ve been a couple’s trip - but you could have a hot girl summer, right? Maybe you could even snag a hottie by the end. You’d almost forgotten that he’d be getting his copy of the tickets as well.
Yet, unfortunately - as the beginning notes of P!nk’s “So What” bursts through the heavy wooden door - you were inevitably reminded of the fact that he was here. Right now. Goading you into coming outside.
You find yourself groaning inwardly (and outwardly) because of course, why wouldn’t he come back even more obnoxious than before? You haven’t seen him in ages, yet here he is, crashing back into your life with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Or - you furrow your brows at his purposefully off-key singing carrying over the sounds of the waves outside - with the subtlety of a manchild with a JBL and a premium account on Spotify.
Rubbing your temples in frustration, you contemplate how much longer of this it would take before you’re both kicked out of this resort. And after you ate so many ice creams to win this getaway trip? No chance.
With a resigned sigh, you rise from the bed, smoothing out the bathing suit you’d just put on before the devil incarnate showed up knocking at your door. Something hot and prickly pools in your stomach as you approach it, and you can’t help but roll your eyes at the sheer absurdity of the situation. So like Satoru.
Taking a deep breath to steel yourself, you shakily reach for the handle. It’s fine. It’s not a big deal actually.
What’s the worst that can happen?
Slam!
The door swings open, and there in all his smug glory stands a very shirtless Satoru. Gojo pain-in-your-ass Satoru, the same asshole you’ve blocked on even Gmail.
Except, you’re momentarily struck by how high you have to raise your eyes to meet his. Are growth spurts even a thing anymore? You didn’t have a chance to take a good look last time before slamming the door shut at the first flash of white hair and a smug grin.
But right now, traitorously, your gaze catches on just how broad his shoulders look and…since when was he so chiseled? Damn you, Tokyo - you were doing him too good.
His hair is slightly longer too, curtaining those slightly more mature features, stopping just above that ever-immature grin. One which moves as he hums, “Well, happy fourth anniversary to me, If I knew this came with the suite then I’d have swam here myself.”
You scoff, suddenly feeling strangely self-conscious as he wiggles his brows, striking blue eyes sweeping your figure from head to toe. “I’d prefer if you swam back. What are you doing?”
“Why, just showing up to our room on our lil’ honeymoon, sweetheart.” Satoru sing-songs, leaning against the doorframe to fully prevent you from slamming the door in his (admittedly) pretty face again. “And before you try to break my nose with that door again, I won that ticket here fair and square, y’know. I ate just as much ice cream as you did for it.”
“You ate most of those before you knew about the getaway raffle.” you sigh over his nonchalant shrug, pinching your nose, “And stop calling it our honeymoon, I dumped you five months ago.”
“Well aren’t you just the gift that keeps on giving. Keeping count?”
“No. Don’t be a pest.”
“Always thought you had a thing for pests. After all, you did date me.” As Satoru grins impossibly wider, you couldn’t help but roll your eyes. He winks, “And if I’m a pest then you’re an itch that just won’t go away.”
“At least I’m not the itch that shows up uninvited to someone’s honeymoon suite.” you hiss. And with that you start shutting the door ever-so-slowly, delighting in the panic that overtakes Satoru’s features as he reaches out frantically.
“Hey!” he sputters, “I didn’t know you’d be here! And besides this ‘pest’ forgot his slippers all the way in Tokyo and can’t stand on flaming-hot boardwalks for too long so let me in.”
And sure enough, you glance down to see that Satoru isn’t wearing any slippers on the scorching boardwalk. The realization almost brings a smirk to your lips. This idiot.
“Wow.”
“‘Wow’ at my feet or-”
“I should leave you here to rot just for your pure idiocy.” you deadpan, eyes locked on the way he’s burning his soles off yet still has the audacity to flash you a cocky smile.
“But you won’t.” he hums.
A beat passes. One. Two. And Satoru’s grin almost falters, before you finally relent - opening the door just a crack, cursing his entire bloodline under your breath. “You’re incorrigible” you mutter as he saunters inside victoriously, dragging his hefty luggage behind.
“Why change perfection, sweetheart~” he calls out, heading straight for the bedroom, only to let out a delighted “OooOOo” at the sight of the king-sized bed in the middle. The only bed. “How scandalous, maybe you’ll even fall in lov-”
“Don’t. I’d rather gouge my eyes out with a seashell.” you warn, holding up both keycards threateningly, “I get the bed, you take the couch.”
“But-”
“And I’ve got the keys, so slippers or not you’ll be back out on that boardwalk.”
A slight smile tugging at the corners of your lips at the way Satoru looked so dramatically crestfallen, you continue - just to be petty, “And no more ‘Kill Bill’ that’s on my angry ex playlist.”
With a heavy sigh he sulkily makes his way to the bathroom, calling out as he does, “Fine. But I’m showering first.”
As he disappears from sight you throw yourself onto your bed, basking in what little peace and quiet you’ll have because of your unwanted guest. This was going to be a-
“And I’m using all of your body lotions.”
“...”
“I will use one of your body lotions.”
Groaning, you sink into the plush mattress, just wishing it would swallow you whole and spare you from this torment. And this was only Day 1? This was going to be a very long five days.
---
The first night with Satoru, honestly, wasn’t too bad.
You don’t know what you expected exactly - maybe for him to pour hair dye in your shampoo or something. But he actually stuck to his word, slept on the couch after only a bit of taunting, and used only one of your body lotions. Your best-smelling, most expensive one, but one nonetheless.
Feeling slightly more optimistic, you spent most of the second day at the beach, meanwhile he stuck to lounging by the pool. Add in a bit of pretending you didn’t know him by the salad bar at dinner and that made for an almost-perfect hot girl summer.
Well, considering that you were rooming with your insufferable longtime ex - in a honeymoon suite of all places.
The only catch came that night, fully content at the burning soreness from being pushed around by the waves outside. You got ready to splay out on your bed, humming along to the tunes of your playlist and…Satoru’s lamenting?
“I swear my back feels like it’s been run over by a truck. Five of them, and a zoo.” he complains from behind you, dramatically draping himself over the couch - his impromptu bed.
“Good.”
“What if that was my last straw?”
“Even better.”
His exaggerated, disappointed whine is both embarrassing and almost-endearing as you roll your eyes, resisting the urge to suffocate him with a pillow. “Maybe call your chiropractor guy.”
Satoru shot you a pointed look, his expression a mixture of faux innocence and irritation, which you knew too well. “I wish but he’s trekking through the Himalayas. C’mon~ Don’t you think that lovely king-sized bed is too big for just one?”
“No, but the boardwalk sure is. Maybe you should try it out.” you monotone, getting ready to end this conversation once and for all.
But when has Satoru ever let you off easy? He sits up abruptly, a devious smile curling his lips. “Ohh, I get it.” he taunts, batting his long lashes mockingly, “You’re scared to sleep in the same bed with me.”
Huh?
“Out of all the idiotic-” you cut yourself off by whirling around to face his smug grin, “Why would I be scared to sleep in a bed with you. I’ve done that far too many times already.”
“Exactly,” he chuckles. “And all those times you could barely last an hour before without keeping your hands off of me. Scared you’ll end up pinned underneath me and stuffed full like old times, sweetheart?”
You narrow your eyes at him despite the heat burning your face. “The only thing I’m scared of is your icicle feet on my side.”
He laughs, a sound that’s equal parts irritating and endearing, and stands up from where he was slumped on the couch. Making his way slowly, but surely towards you, “Oh, c’mon. For old times’ sake, admit it, you miss me.”
"Yeah, missed the peace and quiet I don’t have because of your big mouth,” you scoff. Finding it hard to meet his twinkling gaze as he comes close enough that you’re toe to toe with him. Your cheeks burn at the proximity - hot enough to match the heat radiating off his body.
Satoru shakes his head, undeterred by your threats. And suddenly you get the overwhelming urge to throw him out the window and straight into the ocean. “You can deny it all you want, but you still have feelings for me.”
Your jaw clenches at his audacity. “You wish. I’d never.”
“Then prove it.”
Damn, he was good.
Which is probably how you found yourself lying in the same bed as Satoru, with a wall of all the pillows in the room erected between you two - and a few extra from room service just in case.
“Sweetheart, this is a king-sized bed. Is the fortress really necessary?”
You wrap your blankets tighter around yourself, trying to ignore the figure radiating warm right next to you. Muttering out a muffled little, “Yeah, so you can keep your mitts off of me.”
Satoru groans dramatically, bed creaking as he shuffles what you can only assume to be closer to you. “You keep your mitts off of me, you lecher.” he quips, voice dripping with sarcasm as he inches closer.
You stiffen at his proximity, feeling his warmth seep through the layers of blankets and pillows as he chuckles softly, the sound sending shivers down your spine, “Oh, come on, don’t be like that. We used to share a bed all the time.”
“That was before,” you interject. God, you didn’t like where this conversation was going.
“Before what?” Satoru presses, his voice low and insistent.
Now, you might’ve let yourself be goaded into sharing a bed but these were old wounds better off left alone. You hiss, tone firm, “Before. Now sleep”
Before when you didn’t have to make a wall of pillows. Before when he would hold you tight and whisper sweet secrets into your ear. That he’d buy you the biggest ring he saw and promise you the world. Before-
“I missed you, y’know.” Satoru breaks the silence barely audible over the sound of your own thoughts. The word pangs through your mind and claws at your chest. And at your silence he continues, tone a little lighter, “And stop hogging all the blankets, I’m gonna freeze to-”
“Boardwalk.”
“My apologies, ma’am. Goodnight, ma’am.”
And he sinks back into his pillow with a huff, you let out a sigh of relief. Something hot coiling in your stomach as you close try to catch as much sleep as you possibly could with the bane of your existence laying right beside you. The suddenly taller, dangerously handsome, still as-obnoxious-as-ever bane of your existence.
You just wonder if he remembered “before”.
Oh, how Satoru remembered “before”. So much so that he had sixteen different playlists dedicated to you even after the breakup.
It’s divine punishment - it has to be. Satoru thinks there’s no reasonable explanation for the series of unfortunate events happening to him other than punishment from his ancestors above for being such a pussy and losing the love of his life.
First he forgets his slippers, then he ends up locked out of his own honeymoon suite by said love of his life. Granted, all thoughts of his poor burnt soles went out the window the moment he caught a glimpse of you in that positively sinful bikini. God, were you glowing. A goddess upon Earth - he could really give the Gojo Satoru of five months ago a good, hard kick.
And now he’s stuck in a - very comfortable - prison with you just inches away, tossing and turning in that way he knows means that you can’t sleep either.
Honestly, very funny universe, the great Gojo Satoru demands a refund. Way to punk’d him into confronting the feelings he’s desperately been trying to bury these past few months - ever since he got on that plane to Tokyo and contemplated faking a heart attack just to get off.
Realizing just then that he lost the love of his life - and the only woman who’d tolerate his karaoke nights. But with that realization came another, more jarring one: he was too late.
Every touch, every laugh, and even every time you rolled your eyes was etched into his very soul, and it felt like a montage from a sappy breakup movie directed by a sadistic screenwriter who had it out for him.
And it really didn’t help that this was the exact suite he was planning once upon a time to propose in. God, how you’d feed him to the crabs if he said anything about that - nevermind the fact that he was actually one that booked this-
But still, some traitorous, annoying part of his heart interrupts, she still hasn’t made you sleep on the boardwalk yet.
Maybe - just maybe - he’ll wake up to a second chance?
Ha. As if.
“I can’t sleep.” Satoru groans out loud, more so to drown out his own thoughts than anything.
“Well, I can. Goodnight.”
Ah, his girl was such a lil’ liar. Undeterred, the mattress creaks as he shuffles his weight to excitedly face you, taking a moment to admire how pretty you looked under the dim moonlight. He plows on, “Hey, if you promise not to make me crab food, wanna walk along the beach and watch the stars?”
A beat of silence. One. Two. so deafening and tense that Satoru was half a second away from obnoxiously laughing it off as a joke and pulling out his Emo Times™ playlist.
“Or I can go back to the couch and-”
“Shut up. Let’s watch the stars, Satoru.”
But what do you know - maybe the universe hasn’t given up on him just yet.
And, well, if he woke up the next morning breaching your fortress - your warm breath tickling his neck and his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, like the lifeline he never knew he needed - then, neither of you mentioned it.
---
“Hey, Satoru. You think we’ll always be like this?” you hum into your boyfriend’s chest, barely a whisper as the looming fears of, well, everything ring in your mind.
He pulls you close, flashing a mischievous grin before planting a dramatic kiss on the top of your head. “Duh, I’ll always be around to drive you dangerously close to a stroke, sweetheart.”
You roll your eyes, yet bury yourself closer to his warmth anyway.
“Besides, it doesn’t matter if I have to drag you by the leg to Tokyo. Wherever you are is where I belong. ”
---
You’ve come to learn that a resort island is only so big when you’re actively trying to avoid your 6’3 manchild of an ex.
Now that you were rooming with Satoru, sleeping with Satoru (in a literal sense only, of course), and just-so-happening to bump into him at the beach - somehow, talking with him is a little easier, his presence just a bit more exciting than you’d care to admit.
If the you of four days ago could see what had become of you, then she’d probably slap some sense into you faster than you could say “Kill Bill”. Sleeping in the same bed (still only literally), having dinner, watching the stars - with Gojo Satoru? You’ve gone completely off your rocker.
But could you really be blamed? These last few days have you feeling like maybe you’ve been dropped into an alternate universe, where you and Satoru never broke up.
Yet, reality is a persistent little bastard. And with the end of your trip looming dangerously closer, the past you would be cackling mockingly in your face, flashing a large sign in big, red letters reading “I TOLD you so.”
Whatever. Maybe by this time tomorrow both of you could laugh this all off as a silly little adventure and call yourself somewhat begrudging friends. Maybe you’d even end up unblocking him by the end - on Gmail, at least.
At the very least, dinnertime was a solace - both from your thoughts and the smug bastard talking your ear off about how he could “make that spaghetti better than a thousand Italian grandmothers.”
Until the fourth - and final - night, that is. When the resort, deciding that your current torture wasn’t already enough, arranged a special candlelit dinner. A romantic one. By the beach. With Satoru of all people.
Great. Wonderful. Perfect, in fact. Going out with a bang. Was this really part of the all-inclusive package? It was like the universe was playing some twisted joke on you - or some awful version of wingmanning.
You grit your teeth silently as you’re ushered to the beachside table, thoughts barely audible over the waves crashing against the shore and the soft, romantic music drifting from the band nearby.
The complete opposite of Satoru, who was already seated at the table and enjoying himself far too much for your liking. He lounged back in his chair, a self-satisfied smirk playing on his lips as he watched you sit opposite him uncomfortably.
You hated to admit it - but God was he dangerously beautiful in that crisp white button-up, one that you knew was from his overpriced collection for special occasions. You found yourself fighting to avoid the amber hues twinkling in his eyes as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting warm shadows that bring out his pretty features.
Pretty? So frighteningly pretty - until he speaks, that is.
“And here I thought our honeymoon couldn’t get any worse. You’re sweating bullets, sweetheart. This your first date with me or something?”
“We’re not on a honeymoon, Satoru. And no, it just brings back memories.” you scoff. Relishing in the way he inches his chair closer to listen, clearly not expecting this sudden sentimentality. “Memories of why I blocked you on every social media.”
All but slamming his head down on the table, Satoru whines out, “Ouch, straight for the jugular. That mouth is still as bitchy as ever, huh? Though I do prefer it choking on my-”
“I’m going to throw you into the ocean.”
“Ooo, kinky~” he hums, swirling his wine glass, “But you know what this reminds me of? That one time we had dinner under the stars.”
You froze, the memories suddenly flashing back to you despite your best efforts to suppress them. “Oh yeah,” you muse. A chuckle leaving your mouth despite yourself, “Wasn’t that where you spilled ketchup all over your shirt and then insisted it was a fashion statement?”
He leans in closer, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Hey! It worked, didn’t it? I got compliments from everyone including you.”
“I was just trying to stop you from bursting into tears.” you roll your eyes, shaking your head at the memory.
“Exactly, sweetheart. Like moths to a flame.”
“More like to a bug-zapper.”
Satoru throws his head back and laughs, loud and unabashed. A sound that echoes across the beach and makes something warm and sticky strum at your heartstrings. And at that moment, that stupid, little part of you didn’t even mind that you were at a special candlelit dinner. A romantic one. By the beach. With Satoru of all people.
And he didn’t even have to goad you into it with SZA this time.
As the orange glow of the setting sun melded into the cool blue of the night, it almost felt like slipping back into an old routine. The food had long since been finished. Jabs and shared memories flowing through the air like the gentle waves lapping at the shore.
The cool air was now thick with contentment and something so unknown yet so familiar that it made your heart race.
 “I swear.” you groan over Satoru’s loud cackles, “He tried to charm his way out of the bill by flirting with the waitress. In front of me.”
Satoru doubles over, clutching his stomach as he laughs uproariously. “Classic move! If he’s going to be a cheapskate then he should’ve at least been successful with it.”
Damn, was he eternally grateful for these dim candles. Otherwise you’d surely have caught the rosy flushing tinting his cheeks. How dare you sit there so gorgeous and perfect in front of him. Perfect for him - you haven’t changed one bit.
“Right? She looked ready to fling us both out.” You chuckle, eyes catching on the little dimple just at the corner of his mouth as Satoru shoots you a sly grin. “Mhm, I know if it were me I would’ve charmed us out of the bill successfully.”
You raise a brow, retorting, “Oh please. I’ve had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of that ‘charm’. You’d probably end up charming us into washing dishes in the kitchen.”
Ah, right now, he doesn’t think he wants to be anywhere but here - bickering with you.
“Ouch, you wound me, woman!” Satoru feigns offense, placing a hand over his heart dramatically before leaning down to whisper, low and conspiratorial, “Besides, I doubt you even remember what pleasure feels like since being with me.”
A thrill goes down your spine as you realize the insinuation of his words, steady and searing - matching that of  Satoru’s fingers on yours - which had snuck their way across the table, lazily tracing patterns along your skin.
When did they even get there? Sly bastard.
Your mouth drops into a soft oh! at the dangerous glint in his eyes. But you refuse to back down, “Don’t flatter yourself, Satoru. I’ve had other guys make me cum much harder than you have.”
Touch burning. Mapping every curve and dip he’d known so well, and this time - you graze them back. A challenge. God, you missed that warm little flutter in your chest.
That seems to catch him by surprise, as those darkened blue eyes widen. But there’s a dangerous edge to his grin as he purrs, voice low. “Is that so?”
And with that, Satoru’s chair is scraping softly against the sand as he stands up, “C’mon, you’re gonna regret that, sweetheart.”
Oh.
Satoru knows that it’s been 5 months, 4 weeks, and 8 hours since you two lasted an entire dinner civilly - not that he was counting, duh.
So when he begged the resort staff into setting the two of you up on this special candlelit dinner, he was expecting you to drown him in the lobster tank halfway through or at least end the night with a slap.
What he certainly did not expect was to end dinner with you shoved against the closed door of your suite, legs wrapped impossibly tight around his waist, and lips trailing hot, openmouthed kisses down your neck. He angles your neck, body pressing so impossibly close to yours.
Inwardly, you curse his button-up for being so goddamn thin that you could feel his abs rub against you with every little movement. Toned chest rumbling as he groans at your hands tugging at those soft locks - just a tiny revenge, for your body lotion.
“S-Satoru,” you whisper, and he breathes it in with an almost-pained sigh - not wanting to part for even a second. Because fuck it took so long to get you back and he wasn’t going to waste a single moment.
Pulling just a hair’s breadth away, “Tell me what you want. Always knew we’d end up-”
“Just shut up and kiss me, you smug bastard.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
And, well, who was he to deny you? So he does.
His lips are searing on yours, hasty and greedy. With a tinge of something so painfully familiar. Your hands make their way onto his chest, feeling the thundering heartbeat against your fingertips - matching that of yours.
Sweet. You tasted so sweet. Just like honey, and all the dreams where he didn’t leave you behind. Where he didn’t get on that damned plane but instead ran to you all the way from the airport like those sappy romcoms you love.
He licks at the seam of your lips, drinking in your gasps as he intertwines his tongue with yours. Kissing you like he’ll never be able to again. Because, God, knowing his luck - he probably won’t.
One hand cups your cheek so gently - a tenderness that doesn’t translate to his lips as he kisses you deeper. Meanwhile the other wanders the expanse of your body, leaving a burning trail of fire in their wake.
Satoru parts with a playful nip to your bottom lip - and before you realize what’s happening, the zipper hits the ground. He’s ripping your pretty dress off - mumbling something about “buying a new one” before large hands surge forward, groping and kneading your tits.
His mouth waters at the sight of your bra. Light blue - to match his eyes. “You evil, evil woman.” he mutters into the soft valley of your breasts as you giggle delightedly. Oh, how he couldn’t get enough of you.
And if there was ever a moment that Satoru thinks he could cream his pants right there, then this would be at the very top, followed very closely by the sight of that withering glare you shot after opening that suite door to him just a few days ago.
He unhooks your bra with one hand, throwing it blindly across the room as if it killed him to see you clothed.
Immediately, Satoru drops to his knees with the desperation of a madman, coming face-to face with the heavenly sight of your clothed cunt, soaking through your thin panties.
“Didn’t specify where I had to kiss, sweetheart.”
Your gaze pierces through him, as it always did. “What are you-” Your words get choked up in your throat as his tongue darts out. Licking a long, languid stripe over your clothed cunt.
“Shit. So sweet f’me, jus’ like I remember. Just one taste and I feel like m’gonna cum in my pants.” Satoru groans, urgently sliding your wet panties down your quivering legs.
“F-flattery won’t work.” you stammer out as his hot breath fans your quivering entrance as he waits just a second - one, two.
Drinking in the view of your pretty pussy with dazed, half-lidded eyes. Wet - so wet, he almost wants to tease you - just a bit, to see if you’ll get even wetter. Ah, he doesn’t have enough time to take in this view - probably never will. Would it ruin the mood if he took a picture?
“Oh, I’d say it worked pretty well.”
Cock twitching carnally, Satoru needed to taste you now. He immediately surges forward. Breathing you in so sinfully, pooling your juices on his tongue. Eyes rolling to the back of his head as he tips his head back back back to let it slide down his throat.
Shit, if you were the forbidden fruit then he would gladly be cast out of the garden of Eden.
Half-delirious thoughts running through his mind, Satoru flattens his tongue across your swollen folds. Leisurely sliding between them, catching on your throbbing clit up and down up and down up and-
“Oh- hngh, Satoru faster-”
“So bossy.” he hums prettily around your swollen clit, the vibrations stimulating it just right. But of course, what his girl wants, she will get.
Lewd squelches and your mewls of his name ring in the heady room as he speeds up his ministrations. Rolling his tongue harshly along your clit, sucking so sensually. Licking at your sweet cunt, dipping just into your sloppy hole.
You almost miss the long fingers that deftly slide their way up your thigh, spreading your folds with his thumbs. A low groan sounds at the back of his throat as your walls flutter so sinfully around nothing - aching for more friction.
Urgently, Satoru bullies his fingers past your folds, sinking deep into your plushy walls as his tongue continues its abuse. So warm and wet around him. Curling his fingers just right.
“Ah- fuck, Satoru- Feels s’good.” you gasp as he starts thrusting his fingers back and forth. A ruthless pace that has tears stinging your eyes, hitting that spot over and over and-
“Oh yeah? Thought you didn’t like my ‘big mouth’?” he purrs, muffled around your clit, “Look at you, sweetheart, now falling apart cos’ of it.”
You scoff, fingers tangling in his silky hair, pushing him deeper into your dripping pussy - mostly because you needed it, but somewhat because you really needed him to shut up. “Yeah, I like it better when you shut the fuck up.”
And with a dark chuckle, his mouth is back on your cunt. Your slick glossy and dripping down the corner of his mouth as he alternates between sucking unforgivingly on your ravaged clit and fucking into you at the same time as his fingers.
And in the delicious stretch of your cunt, you barely register the metallic clinking of a belt before Satoru presses his clothed erection into you.
Shit. You clench so obscenely around his tongue at the feeling of his clothed, painfully hard and throbbing against your leg. Fuck - as big as you remember. You weren’t gonna be able to walk for a while.
“You like this, huh?” he murmurs, speeding up the rhythm of his fingers. Vibrations sending white-hot jolts of pleasure down your spine.
Cracking an eye open you risk a glance downward. Greedily eyeing the hand wrapped tightly around the base, moving up up up. Pumping in small, jerky movements at the same pace of his fingers fucking into you. “Like the way m’getting off to tonguefucking my girl?”
“Like thinking about how this is what I thought about all those lonely fucking night without you?” You arch into his touch, fingers searing on his scalp and angling Satoru just right to make your knees weak.
He’s so close that you can feel the precum smearing onto your leg. Mouth fucking you in a way you knew he wanted to with his cock right now. Rough and unrelenting.
“Like thinking about how you’re all I can fucking think about.”
“Hngh- Yes, Satoru! Yes-”
You see stars as you cum - or maybe those were the tears in your eyes. Pulling Satoru impossibly closer to your quivering pussy so that you could ride out your high on his pretty face. And he readily accepts it - letting himself be handled roughly with the conviction of a man that wouldn’t mind dying if it was suffocating in-between your pretty thighs.
Your vision is hazy, blood still roaring in your ears as Satoru stands up. Not even bothering to wipe away the wet trail of your slick prettily glossing his lips before capturing yours in a searing kiss.
“Y’know, sweetheart,” he gasps in between heated kisses. “We got a king-sized bed so we better make use of it, hm?”
Your back hits the mattress before you can even react. Reeling from shock and the audacity as you bounce at the sheer force of his throw.
“Next time you do that you’re-”
Whatever insult at the tip of your tongue melts away immediately at the purely pornographic sight of Satoru stalking his way towards you from the foot of the bed. Eyes hooded, cock rock-hard, kiss-bitten lips parted slightly in a way that was so fucked-out.
Unhurriedly approaching you with such a predatory glint in his darkened eyes as he fucks his fist slowly - so agonizingly slowly. Eyes locked on you.
Despite cumming not even minutes before, your pussy jumps in anticipation. Immediately reaching over as soon as he’s close enough - as if in a trance - to replace his hand with yours.
He was big - so mouthwateringly big. Flushed your favorite shade of pink at his leaking tip, pulsing veins glistening in the dim light - every part of Satoru was so unfairly pretty.
So hot and heavy in your hand as you pump him at a steady, methodical pace. Precum smearing on your palm, trailing down your wrist as you pump. Tighter on the base, thumbing teasingly under his slit the way you knew he used to like.
“Oh fuck, sweetheart. Still remember, huh?” he hisses lowly. Ah, the way he still likes.
“Mhm.” you hum absentmindedly, thighs clenching together at the way his hips grind in shallow, mindless little motions into your soft hand. Meeting your strokes as if trying to fuck something so delicious out of him.
And, well, you just couldn’t resist a taste. Bending down in one, fluid motion to delicately lick at his angry, hard head. Slightly salty taste on your tongue as you swipe at the droplets of precum pooling on his tip. Tracing lightly - ever-so-lightly - down his prominent veins.
Satoru groans, low and hoarse with desire, “Shit, hah- you don’ ngh- have to-”
“Shut up, Satoru.”
And with that, you’re shoving down as much as you can of his throbbing erection down your throat. Cunt clenching at the way he hardens impossibly as you choke and gag around him.
“Shit, oh- Oh fuck, m’girl. Yes yes yes-.” Satoru lets out a guttural moan. Fingers threading through your hair as he uses it as leverage to fuck himself slowly, deeper and deeper into your heavenly mouth. Hips stuttering and jerky with pleasure. Yeah, he definitely missed this.
Half-delirious and cock-drunk, you take him all the way till your nose was buried in the tufts of white at his toned pelvis, already so wet with saliva and precum.
Still got it, some smug, utterly debauched part of yourself titters.
It was dizzying, the way he was pulsing in your throat, his heady scent filling your senses. Beginning to move up and down up and down in hasty, desperate bobs of your head. Pulling such lewd gasps and moans from his lips.
You moan around Satoru’s thick cock, clawing at his toned hips for some semblance of stability. Some truly animalistic part of yourself relishing in the neat, red lines down his milky skin. The sight hazy through the tears that spring to your eyes at the way his fat tip hits your abused throat. A relentless, sinful tempo you were steadily losing your mind to.
Messy.  It was so fucking messy.
You just wondered if his orgasm would be the same…
But, alas, one can’t always get what they want. Because Satoru pulls you off of his achingly hard cock with a lewd pop! that rings in his ears and makes your cunt twitch.
“Shit, sweetheart. Any longer and I’ll have to start thinking about ol’ Prof. Gakuganji to not cum.” he pants through ragged breaths, flashing you a deceptively innocent grin. “Now, lay back and spread ‘em f’me and let me see if your pretty pussy can still handle me.”
And that you don’t argue with.
It’s almost embarrassing - the way you scramble desperately to sink back into the mattress. Letting Satoru manhandle your legs open so shamefully for him, throwing them over his muscled shoulders. But that’s a problem for the future, not lust-drunk you.
Right now you couldn’t give less of a fuck as his hungry gaze locks on your glistening pussy. Pausing for just a split-second before spitting once. Twice. Thrice onto your waiting cunt. Making you feel more and more like an object as the warm saliva mixes obscenely with your slick, trickling down to form such a sinful pool on the sheets below.
And you liked it.
Almost as much as you loved the way Satoru drags his tip along your swollen folds, catching so maddeningly on your clit. Teasingly pooling your slick on his leaking head. It was so sloppy. And too slow.
“Satoru, I’ve waited five months too long for this. If you’re going to fuck me then fuck me like you mean it.” you grit out, frustration and pure need boiling over within you.
“Oh? So it’s like that, huh?”
And maybe you were a mastermind, maybe you were an idiot - probably both. Because Satoru immediately pushes in one, long thrust into your dripping cunt. Your words catch pathetically in your throat as he loses grip on whatever semblance of restraint he had - or his sanity - whichever one would break you first.
Fuck, it feels so heavenly. Oh, how you missed him.
Bowing his body down down down till his damp forehead met yours. Folding you completely underneath him in the way you’ve found that only the smug bastard, Gojo Satoru can.
You could almost sob at the stretch as he presses in - deliciously painful, borderline insane, and exactly what you’d been trying to deny that you’d been craving all these past five months. Being split apart on his throbbing cock, feeling like you were about to be absolutely devoured underneath him.
It seems Satoru was just as needy for you, hot and throbbing agonizingly inside you, each little bump bump bump against your walls matching that of your heart thundering against your chest.
Or was that Satoru’s? At this point you couldn’t even tell.
“Oh, god yes-, jus’ like that ah shit shit shit-”
“This what you wanted, yeah?” A low growl leaves his throat at how sinfully your walls were milking him as he pulls back. All the way till his leaking tip was just innocently kissing your sloppy hole - only to ram his cock all the way back into your snug cunt. “To be split apart on my cock?”
Shit, he could just about pass out right now with the way your cunt was sucking him in so greedily like she never wanted to part.
Guess she missed him too, he thinks deliriously. Not even having to think about it as he starts fucking into you in shallow, mindless little thrusts. Pushing himself deeper and deeper into your plushy cunt.
“Äh- fuck, yeah. S’all I’ve wanted.” you mewl, feeling so vulnerable and exposed under the hungry eyes boring into yours. A dark gleam in them as he grins, “Then take it back.”
Disoriented, you gasp out a strangled, “What?” before Satoru’s hips become rougher, chasing his high as much as yours.
“What you said at dinner.” your lips fall into a soft oh! as you realize just what he’s talking about, “Admit that no man makes you cum as hard as I do.”
God, you don’t think you could answer even if you wanted to, choking on the harsh, purposeful movements of his hips just to fuck your soul out.
Heavy balls stinging your skin, the lewd sounds of skin-on-skin fills the heady air. Driving you to insanity. An absolutely unforgiving cadence that has the bed creaking in protest. Ah, whatever, he could buy them a new one anyway if this one just so happens to break.
“Take it back yet?” He had to break you first though.
Slick gushes out of your heated cunt, dripping down his length and pooling at his heavy balls, stinging your ass at each merciless thrust. “No.”
A large hand hastily makes its way down to draw rough, frenzied little circles on your throbbing clit. Voice strangled, sweat beading on his forehead, thrusts becoming increasingly sloppier. “How about now?”
“Ah- hngh- oh fuck. Satoru!” You could only moan softly in response, broken whimpers leaving you each time his tip kissed your cervix. Angling his hips just right to expertly brush against that one spot he knew so well would have you keening and bucking up into his cock. Your face almost burns at the sheer familiarity of it all. This bastard knew you too well.
And something about that made such an uncomfortable, prickly feeling pool in your stomach.
Something which you knew would only be sated if you looped your arms around his neck. Nails digging into his sculpted back as you pulled him impossibly closer.
Kissing his flushed cheeks as he murmurs, “Take it back, sweetheart.”
Despite the thick cock splitting you in half till you probably couldn’t walk tomorrow morning, you find it in yourself to huff out a soft laugh at the way Satoru’s tone teetered on just that endearing side of sulky. “Fine. You win, Toru.” you whisper into his lips,
And then you’re cumming. White-hot pleasure flashing behind your eyes and Satoru’s lips gently slotting against yours as he fucked you through your high. Acting as if the fucked-out whimper of his nickname is one he’ll never forget.
As if he couldn’t cum simply from hearing it leave your pretty lips. And he does, shooting thick, hot ropes of cum painting your plushy walls white with a raw groan of your name. It oozes out of your cunt and onto the mess of sheets below as he fucks his seed into you as a lover would. As he would.
It was intoxicating - everything from the way you milked his cock so sinfully, to the arms tight around his shoulders. Pulling him close, running soothingly along his skin as Satoru collapses onto you with a final, fucked-out thrust.
And despite being a lightweight, Satoru’s never been so easily drunk off of something than he was off of you. God how he missed this - how he missed you.
So much so that he can’t put it into words - and probably won’t ever be able to. But it’s alright, because your sticky body snug against his, and Satoru arms tenderly around your waist - but you didn’t mind. Both of you understood.
Satoru traces his fingers lazily along your side, neither of you bothering to tackle the mammoth task of cleaning up for now. Each movement slow and gentle, as if any sudden movement might shatter the delicate balance between you.
All is quiet in your little haven, and you could almost fall asleep. The most contented one you’ve had in a while - 5 months, 3 weeks, and 7 hours ago to be exact.
But, of course, Satoru can’t keep his mouth shut for nothing. You jolt out of your reverie as he hastily tries to stifle the startled laugh that huffs out of him. Your dazed eyes meet his in the dim lighting, raising a brow in question.
“It’s just…” he starts, voice soft, “You still call me Toru. Feels like home.”
Ah.
You find yourself chuckling softly with him. Heat rushing to your cheeks, burying yourself deeper into his warm chest, to hide the embarrassingly flustered smile breaking out across your face if anything.
Chuckling, Satoru shifts closer, touch now feather-light against your cheek, tracing the line of your jaw with his fingertips. Faltering ever-so-slightly as you mutter out, “Happy anniversary, by the way. I didn’t say it earlier because someone was being a public menace.”
“Hey! It’s not my fault that someone locked me out of my own honeymoon suite.” he laughs, drinking in your pretty lil’ smile.
Ah, you were perfect. As you always were. Satoru can’t help but utter out a little, “Hey, if I tell you something absolutely stupid, would you promise not to make me fish food?”
“Absolutely not.”
He knew you’d say that. So he flashes you an easy grin, a hint of nervousness in it that he’s sure you see through - you always do.
“So…” he begins, “First thing’s first, I’m thinking of expanding my father’s company further overseas and it might just so happen that I’m leading the branch development and get to pick where exactly.”
God, you made him feel like such a teenager. At your stunned silence, Satoru could barely raise his eyes to meet yours as he plows on, stumbling so uncharacteristically over his words, “You, I picked where you are.”
You’re breathless, words barely audible as his sinks in. “What? Toru that’s-”
“And don’t be mad but you kinda sorta didn’t-win-the-raffle-so-instead-I-planned-this-getaway-when-we-were-together.”
Any and every trace of breathless euphoria leaves your tone as you narrow your eyes at the very guilty Satoru beside you. Fidgeting under your intense scrutiny. Finally - after what seems like an eternity - you find your senses after his whiplash-inducing information dump.
A hand immediately shoots out to squeeze his side, right where you knew he was dangerously ticklish.
“You sneaky little-” you scold over his laughed out yells of, “Mercy! No murder on our honeymoon!” squirming helplessly beneath you.
“I can’t believe you let me chug all that ice cream.”
“Exactly- hah- help! You w-would’ve been so sad that you ah- didn’t win.” he manages to choke out under your attack.
Finally relenting, only once you’re sure he’ll be feeling the burn of laughter until your flight tomorrow, you release him from your grasp. A satisfied smirk playing on your lips as you lean in close. “You’re lucky I still love you, you smug bastard” you deadpan.
“Aww, you beat me to it.” Satoru whines. Yet he reaches out to cup your cheek, “And I love you,” words hanging in the air like a promise. “With every fiber of my being.”
You let yourself be begrudgingly pulled into his embrace again, hands caressing along your skin like the highest form of worship. Satoru sighs out a contented, “Best honeymoon ever.”
But of course, you couldn’t help but bully your idiotic boyfriend. “This is not a honeymoon, Toru.” you mutter into his heated skin.
He only presses you closer to him. Yeah maybe not, fingers deftly dancing along your left hand. But maybe next time.
“Wanna watch the stars and tell me all about that branch development?”
“Of course, sweetheart, but first can you at least unblock me on Gmail now?”
“...”
You broke up with Gojo Satoru exactly 5 months, 3 weeks, and 12 hours ago. And as for how long it’s been since he won you back - well, you think it might just be one of the few things you didn’t keep count of.

steve's favourite thing to do is interchange the names in songs with people's he knows. usually just as a bit of fun, like singing "gimme, gimme, gimme ro-bin after midnight!" to make her laugh in the car when she's had a bad morning. or, "i wish that i was dustin's girl!" in a horrific impression of suzie that makes the kid body slam him in retaliation.
so one day, when him and eddie are hanging out in his kitchen, amicably flitting around each other as they make food, he can't help himself. the drums start up from the radio in the corner and a smile spreads across his face, because he thought of this one weeks ago and has been dying to use it.
he whirls around and points at eddie, who's looked up at the sudden movement, with the business end of a wooden spoon. "oh, eddie you're so fine! you're so fine, you blow my mind! hey, eddie!" he takes a step forward, relishing in how munson's jaw drops to the floor. "hey, eddie!"
he does a sort of half shuffle, half dance around to eddie's other side, where he continues, jumping up and down and shaking his head back and forth with the beat, "oh, eddie you're so fine, you're so fine, you blow my mind!" he gets up in eddie's space, to where they're practically nose to nose, "hey eddie!"
"oh my god, what is happening?" eddie asks, trying his hardest to suppress a grin. steve continues to dance and sing like an idiot, abandoning the spoon on the counter to grab both eddie's hands and pull his arms back and forth in an attempt to get him dancing too.
by the start of the first verse eddie is half-heartedly bouncing along, watching steve with wide eyes and flushed cheeks. he thinks he's fucking beautiful like this- big blinding smile, full of energy- and takes a second to ponder the turns his life has taken to bring him here, in this moment. where steve harrington is singing a cheesy, upbeat love song at him, having replaced the name in it for his.
steve cups eddie's hands together and uses them as a makeshift microphone, belting out the lyrics to the chorus as eddie giggles along in the background. "-oh, eddie! what a pity, you don't understand," puts his best pouty face and places eddie's hand on his chest, over his heart. eddie's eyes widen. "you take me by the heart when you take me by the hand! oh, eddie, you're so pretty," really fucking emphasises the word pretty. because, damn. "why can't you understand? it's guys like you, eddie!" grabs him by the shoulders and rocks them both back and forth with each word. eddie's hand drops from his chest to circle around his waist, seemingly out of instinct, and fuck, he liked that.
eddie was staring at him now, sparkly eyed and hopeful. steve clasped his hands together at the base of eddie's neck, as he sung, a little less overzealous now, "oh, what you do, eddie, do eddie," as the gap between them got less and less. steve had to work to bite down the grin on his face.
"don't break my heart, eddie." he said, barely loud enough for them to hear over the music. eddie grinned, pressing their lips together as the chorus ended.
it was objectively bad, with the way they both smiled and giggled through the whole fucking thing, but god, who cares. to them, in that exact moment, it was the best damn kiss either of them had ever had.
until, that is, when eddie pulls back (very fucking regretfully) and realises something.
"we did not just have our first kiss to 'hey, mickey!' by toni basil." he whispers, in genuine horror. steve throws his head back with such bright laughter, still pressed against him, that it almost makes it worth it.
keyword almost, because then the menace leans back in, all coy, and replies, "i'm never, ever letting you forget it."

isagi yoichi is smiling at his phone again.
he’s pacing, too. up and down, back and forth— the whole nine yards. literally. on a hot summer’s day, instead of spending his break from practice cooling down or getting water, he chose to spend it ignoring his teammates and glued to his phone. he was so immersed in the little screen that he had yet to notice the rest of his friends watching him with raised brows from the benches.
“what’s up with him?” reo echoes everyone’s thoughts, flopping down onto the bench next to nagi.
“no idea. but he’s been basically drooling over his phone since our break,” chigiri replies. “we’re probably going to end up having to pry it out of his cold, dead hands.
a lapse in conversation follows isagi’s slight laugh as something happens on his phone screen— just what could he be laughing at?
“maybe he’s playing tetris,” bachira suggests. he is met by blank stares until nagi finally says his piece, “why would he be playing tetris?”
“oh, you’re one to talk—“
bachira is cut off by, again, the sound of laughter. everyone turns their gaze to see isagi, bashfully covering his mouth with his free hand while typing out a text reply. so he was texting someone, they deduce.
“who could he be texting? aren’t we, like, his only friends?” reo wonders out loud.
nagi’s hand rests on reo’s side as he glances over to the subject of the impromptu investigation again. “dunno. his mom?”
“doubt his mom is that funny.”
“maybe it’s his girlfriend,” bachira sings. eyes snap to him for the second time that day.
“he has a girlfriend?”
“isagi can pull?”
“before me?”
their chorus of replies, ranging from flabbergasted to bitter, draw the attention of the man of the hour, who finally, for the first time in a solid 10 minutes, glances up from his phone. “is.. something up?”
bachira laughs. everyone else stares. reo is the one who finally speaks:
“who are you texting there, buddy?”
isagi grimaces at the tone. it’s reminiscent of a dad who knows he’s caught you doing something wrong but is trying to get you to admit to it. he feels like he’s a little boy with a hand in the cookie jar when he replies meekly, “no one?”
chigiri smirks. that’s the only way to describe his expression, really; a smug little stupid smirk that sends sweat down isagi’s spine. “it’s rude to call your girlfriend that, yoichi.”
the world stills. blood roars in his ears. isagi is absolutely certain his face is burnt-tomato red, and he feels overwhelmingly warm with embarrassment. “uh..”
and then: an incoming call. a familiar, separate ringtone sounds as your name lights up his phone.
a set of devilish, devious grins spread across his present teammate’s faces.
“you’re not going to ignore that, right?” bachira smiles.
isagi swallows.
isagi hits the green button.
and he’s met by silence. only a slight staticky feedback on the other end, and some garbled noise that might be faraway conversation. no girlfriend, no voice.
the teammates exchange a glance. chigiri speaks, “bachira, if you were messing and that really is his mom—“
he’s silenced by a voice. one he’s never heard.
“yoichi? you there?”
you sound crunchy on the other end of the call, but unmistakably, undoubtedly real.
“hey, hi! i’m here.” and what else is the way isagi absolutely lights up when he hears your voice. like a new wave of energy has just consumed him, like he was asleep and got hit by a bucket of ice cold water.
isagi gives his friends a shit-eating grin before waving and walking away, still talking to you on the phone, instantly reentering his own little world. reo looks ay nagi. nagi looks at chigiri. chigiri looks at bachira. bachira looks at reo.
“at least he wasn’t playing tetris,” reo finally says.
nagi nods solemnly. chigiri shrugs. bachira glares at the purple-haired boy: “what’s wrong with tetris?”

summary: Chris heard from a friend of a friend that that pussy was a 10 out of 10
...or the one where you’re shy and Chris gets curious.
~
You perked up at the sound of your name being called, eyebrows raised, and eyes widened in wonder as you turned around. Your hand was still on Dodger’s head, stroking it with a gentle touch that the canine really seemed to like. Your eyes met Scott’s as his head poked from above the couch where he lounged. Tessa was next to him, expression eager. In fact, you noticed that they all seemed to look at you fervently.
You were a part of the festivities, but not really. You were Scott’s friend first, had been his friend for years, so he and Chris were used to your need to just be off by yourself sometimes. When you’d met Tessa through Chris, and became the best of friends, she’d grown used to it too. They never commented on it, so naturally neither did anyone else, but you could tell that the other Chris, the one who played the mighty Thor himself, often wanted to rope you into their madness.
Said madness tonight included drinks and engrossing trips down memory lane from what you’d gathered. You had left the conversation in preference of Dodger’s company when Chris had gone on a drunken tangent about how much he loved making love to his wife. It was cute, but also a little too much information than you wanted to know.
“She’s not going to tell you,” Tessa threw at Scott, head leaning on her hand.
“Tell you what?” you wondered, standing.
You noticed a few smiles grow as Scott fully sat up.
“Craziest place you’ve ever had sex, go.”
You laughed to yourself, shaking your head.
“Tessa’s right, I’m not going to tell you,” you sheepishly replied with a shrug.
A chorus of disappointment rang out as you rounded towards the table, pouring yourself a drink.
"I told you,” you heard her sing. “Y/N doesn’t kiss and tell.”
“Who are we going to tell?” Chris wondered, exchanging a glance with his name twin before they both chuckled.
“Chris,” you started, taking a shot. “You tell your wife everything, and it’s cute, but…no.”
“At least we know there’s an answer,” he loudly whispered to Scott, and you rolled your eyes.
You caught the older Chris’ gaze, fixing him with a mock apologetic look and a shrug. While you knew that he and Scott were content to respect your privacy and reserved personality, you also knew that Chris didn’t necessarily like it. For years he’d known you, and the knowledge that he still couldn’t quite figure you out ate away at him.
He’d told you so.
“You’re just so quiet,” he’d told you one day. “It hit me that I’ve known you for years through Scott, and I feel like I don’t really know you.”
You had placated him with a story about the time you’d broken your arm. You could tell that wasn’t what he’d meant, but you had slipped away before he could say anything else. It wasn’t long after that that you noticed Chris liked to watch you…a lot.
It wasn’t in a rude way or even an overtly obvious way that anyone else would catch on to. In fact, the only reason you feel like you did was because you’re just an observing person by nature. You watched him watch you when he thought no one else was looking.
When you’d be talking to Scott, when you’d be over their mom’s house and would help her cook, or even when you’d harmlessly flirt with Anthony whenever he was around. You could feel Chris’ heated gaze on you, and you would ignore it, pretending like you hadn’t noticed, but in truth…
You kind of liked it.
It felt almost like a game, only Chris was the only one playing.
You were just naturally quiet, naturally reserved by nature. If you didn’t have anything to say then you wouldn’t say anything, and you didn’t feel the need to share everything about yourself. Sometimes something would come out, something new and unknown that Chris never would’ve guessed about you, and you could see it. The way his eyes would light up, a certain glint in their blue depths as he latched onto the information like his life depended on it. The time you and Scott had gone skinny dipping, your spontaneous trip with some man to Venice, when you owned a motorcycle for a year.
It wasn’t intentional, but you supposed that you were teasing him, and with every crumb thrown his way…the more he wanted to know.
“Y/N likes to play coy.”
Your eyes met Chris’ again as he said that, and if you didn’t know any better, you’d say the small smile on his face was less fond and more…bitter. You chuckled to yourself, shaking your head before making your way to the kitchen. You could feel his gaze on you the whole way there, and from your place at the fridge in search of a nonalcoholic drink, you heard him throw a snarky comment to his brother.
“You sure she’s not a virgin? Because I get that from her…”
Your swallowed down your laugh, reaching for a bottle of Sprite, thinking to yourself that now he was just trying to be mean. You could see Scott swat at him when you returned, and as you sat down beside Tessa, you carefully avoided Chris’ gaze.
The conversations flew around you with your occasional input, and if anyone else noticed Chris uncharacteristic silence, they didn’t comment on it. You took another sip of your sprite, glancing up as you did, unsurprised to find his eyes on you again.
Why Chris was so curious to know everything about you, you’d never know, but considering how long this had been going on, you should’ve guessed he’d never just let it go. You didn’t know if he felt like he couldn’t trust you or if it was some weird ego thing or genuine interest, but his almost bratty attitude concerning your lack of desire to share every minute detail about yourself was amusing to watch at best. Annoying at worst.
You supposed that at some point, something had to give. You never would’ve guessed it’d be sooner rather than later. A get together at Chris’ place that obviously included his brother, you tagging along as Scott’s close friend, and none other than Sebastian and Anthony showing up in attendance too. However, the last person you expected to see walking in with those two was your ex.
You were glad that it ended on a good note, making it easy for you to jokingly push him out of the door. Or at least attempt to. He’d laughed at you, asking how you were, and that was when Anthony and Seb seemed to catch on.
“You two?” Anthony asked, pointing between you in shock. “You and him?”
“…and just what are you trying to say?” you wondered, one hand on your hip and the other holding your cup.
“He’s just so…ugly,” Anthony sighed, and you waved him off. “I thought you had better taste than that.”
He placed his hands on his chest, looking hurt. You pulled Anthony into the kitchen, leaving Seb with his friend, your ex, just as Chris passed you both. Anthony lightly tapped Chris’ chest, disbelief still coloring his features.
“Get this,” he started, gesturing between you and the man by the door. “Those two used to date.”
“Oh my God, it’s not that big of a deal,” you laughed, taking a sip.
The other man before you looked between you two before resting his gaze on you, eyebrows raised.
“Really…”
You didn’t like the look on Chris’ face. There wasn’t as much shock as there was curiosity, and if the man wanted to pump your ex for anything he could learn about you then he was welcome to it.
“Yes, really. The actual shocking thing here is that Sebastian never brought him around until now. Small world,” you hummed, pushing Anthony into the kitchen to get him a drink.
Truthfully, you didn’t understand why Scott even dragged you along. In a house full of guys, you weren’t shocked when the evening was reduced to them watching some game on the TV. You didn’t care to pretend to be interested, and while you certainly enjoyed your solitude, you definitely thought this was something you could’ve missed out on.
Then again, you never would’ve run into your ex and found out that he and Sebastian were friends. Although, from the looks of it, he was becoming fast friends with Chris. They stood by the couch, talking about what you assumed was the game. Chris either had good timing, or he sensed the weight of your gaze because his eyes met yours when he glanced up.
You had the strangest thought that his blue shirt made his equally blue eyes pop, the buttons of the Henley undone to show a teasing peek of his tattoo. It was hard not to notice how attractive he was, but you’d never given it too much thought. He nodded at something your ex said, seemingly listening, and you watched the way he ran his hand over his beard, finger trailing over his lip, and that was when you looked away.
When the game was over, Sebastian forced you to sit beside him, asking you the usual ‘how’s life’ questions. It had been a minute since you’d seen him, and you took the opportunity to ask how he even knew your ex. By the way he laughed, you guessed it was a funny story, and with him on the brain, you glanced around to find him and Chris gone.
Scott noticed your frown.
“I think Chris went to show him where the bathroom was,” he answered your silent question.
It was a few drinks later when Chris appeared once more, and you were trying to keep from choking as Anthony and Seb argued about something that happened on set. You felt Chris standing behind you, one hand on the back of the couch with his fingers coming dangerously close to touching your back.
You were a little too aware of his presence, his body heat seeming to surround you. If you took a deep breath, you were positive you’d be able to smell what he’d showered with or what cologne he'd put on. When his fingers did eventually graze your skin, you found that you couldn’t focus on much else, not even aware when your ex returned.
Chris seemed content to hover around you. In fact, he lingered near you the entire night. If he wasn’t standing behind you, then he was getting you another drink when yours was empty. When he got tired of that, he actually made himself comfortable beside you on the couch, leg brushing against yours and arm grazing yours.
You mostly remained quiet for the rest of the night, adding to the conversation here and there when Scott wanted your agreement on something. Alas, the night had to come to an end, and by then, Scott was so drunk he couldn’t walk straight. Let alone drive. You weren’t nearly as drunk as he was, but you didn’t feel comfortable driving anywhere, and truthfully, you didn’t have to.
It wouldn’t be the first time you had to stay in Chris’ guest room.
You waved Anthony and Seb goodbye, sending your ex off with a lingering hug. When you pulled away, his own eyes hooded from alcohol, he looked like he wanted to say something. However, he seemed to think better of it, wishing you a good night and telling you how nice it was to see you.
When you turned back around, the living room was empty. You guessed that Chris had helped his brother into bed, and you took it upon yourself to start cleaning up the mess left behind. You had gathered all of the trash into a bag when you heard Chris’ footsteps, rounding the corner just as you placed the bag in the kitchen.
“He’s going to regret every choice he ever made tonight when he wakes up in the morning,” you chuckled, glancing at the older brother.
Chris didn’t respond right away, leaning against the wall as he stood in the entryway. He seemed content to just watch you clean up, but after a while, he took 2 of the glasses you’d cleaned and poured 2 drinks. Not wanting to be rude, and a little curious about one of the few times he seemed to be acting like he was your friend, you took the one he offered.
“I’m not going to lie,” he started, taking a sip. “When Anthony said that was your ex, I didn’t quite believe him.”
You finished your drink, looking at him with a frown.
“Why not?” you wondered with an awkward chuckle.
The blue-eyed man offered you more, and you held out your glass.
“…he doesn’t seem like your type,” he murmured with a smile.
You rolled your eyes, fixing him with a look.
“You don’t know my type, Chris.”
He nodded at that, accepting the truth in it.
“I don’t know a lot of things about you…”
You held his gaze from over the rim of your glass.
“…and you just hate that,” you said with a shake of your head. “It’s really nothing personal despite what you clearly think. I’m just not very talkative.”
You watched him fill up your glass again, and you playfully narrowed your eyes at him. He tilted his head at you, a small smirk on your pink lips.
“Are you trying to get me drunk? Loosen my lips…?”
Despite the fact that you were onto him, you still took another sip. Chris sat the bottle down, moving closer to where you leaned against the counter. You gazed at him from beneath your lashes, and you didn’t miss the way he ran his eyes over you.
“Maybe I am…”
You raised your eyebrows at that, and he continued.
“Your ex said that you broke up with him…”
You nodded, letting out a hum of confirmation, curious as to where he was going with this. He was much closer to you now, one hand on the counter as he leaned in. There was a look of wonder on his face, the corner of his lip twitching slightly.
“…he also mentioned how much he wanted you back because you were, and I quote, ‘the best sex he’s ever had in his life’.”
You couldn’t hold in your laugh at that, thinking about your ex’s hesitation at the door. You finished your drink, fondly shaking your head.
“I’m sorry he shared that with you-.”
“I’m not,” Chris interrupted. “…but it is a little hard for me to imagine you being the best sex of anyone’s life. You’re so…”
He trailed off, hands flailing around slightly, and you knew what he was trying to say. Shaking your head and laughing at him, you sat your empty glass down.
“Don’t think about it so hard,” you told, standing up straight.
Your chest brushed against his as he moved closer, blue eyes dancing between yours as his other hand joined his right one on the counter, trapping you. Your lips parted, and his gaze was drawn to that as he looked down, eyes lingering on your mouth. He spoke again when his eyes met yours.
“What if I want to think about it?”
Things seemed to click for you, and you let out a light scoff. You looked away from him, admitting to yourself that the thought was tempting, but Scott was your friend, and truthfully, you weren’t going to have sex with Chris to satisfy some sick curiosity he had for you.
With a wistful sigh, you laid your hand on his chest, gently pushing him away.
“I think you’re almost as drunk as your brother,” you replied, brushing past him. “Goodnight, Chris.”
You didn’t spare him another glance.
Tumblr media
By the time you’d gotten out of the shower, the alcohol had really settled in your system. The world threatened to tilt with every step you took, and it made looking for the last spare shirt you’d left here that much harder. The towel was tight around you, the cool air of the A/C causing a shudder to travel down your spine.
So focused on finding something to sleep in, you didn’t notice the other presence in the room until a hand rested on your neck. You gasped in shock, heart skipping a beat before settling when a familiar voice gently shushed you. He pulled you back into him, lips grazing over your damp shoulder, and you laid a hand on your chest.
“Chris-.”
“You’re always so quiet,” he murmured into your skin, pressing kisses towards your neck now. “It drives me crazy to wonder what you’re thinking.”
His beard scratched against your skin, making you shiver.
“…but now I want to know what you sound like in bed even more.”
He nipped at your skin, making your lips part before he turned you around. Chris swallowed any protest on your tongue when he covered your mouth with his own, moving it against yours with a hunger that frankly scared you. A hunger you didn’t even know existed.
“I need to know what you sound like…feel like…”
The desperation in his tone was evident, and you wouldn’t lie and say that it didn’t settle warmly in the pit of your stomach. Your hands were pressed to his chest, but when he gripped the hair at the nape of your neck and pulled your head back a bit, your fingers became light. He didn’t waste any time before kissing down your throat, getting dangerously close to your chest.
Your mind was spinning so much that it was hard to decipher if you really wanted this. It seemed insane to think that you didn’t, but you knew that Chris was here now, desperate to get you under him to satiate this strange fascination he had with you. This desire to figure you out in some way, any way. He really couldn’t stand how little he knew about you, the wall that he’d been trying to get through for years, and for some strange reason, you hadn’t actually expected him to just…snap one day.
You weren’t prepared for it.
That was how you found yourself spread out on his guest bed for him, the tip of him poking against you and slipping past your lips. The evidence of your arousal made his own lips glisten, the taste of you still on them, no doubt when his tongue darted out to swipe along them.
Your nails pressed into the hands he had placed on your thighs, spreading you open for him while he slowly pushed his cock into you. Your lips parted into an ‘O’, a silent moan leaving your throat as he slid in inch by inch. When his hips were flush with yours, he took one of your hands and pinned it beside your head. Your chest was heaving slightly, and Chris groaned when you clenched down onto him.
He didn’t take his eyes off of your face as he pulled out. Only the tip of him remained, and he pushed back into you with a pace that was borderline agonizing. You reached out to touch his chest, head thrown back when he set a steady pace, hips curving into yours with one purpose.
He wanted to hear you.
You could see it all over his face. How determined he was to make you scream and squirm beneath him. His lashes fluttered, and you didn’t know if he was drunk from the alcohol or the feel of you warm and tight around him, sucking him back in with every thrust. When he hit a spot in you that had your breath hitching, you weren’t able to hold in your whimpers.
His blue eyes gleamed at that, and you panted as he took one of your legs and bent it. Your knee was pointed towards your chest, and a choked gasp escaped you as he moved closer. He let go of your hand to place it on the headboard above your head, completely caging you in beneath him while he fucked you.
His cock slid in and out of you with ease, almost embarrassingly so, but you saw no point in pretending to be ashamed of how wet you were. You could feel the mess you were making of his sheets and hear the squelch of his cock dipping into you. You moaned his name, a hand sliding over his back while the other reached up to grip his arm.
Every noise you made seemed to egg him on, fascinate him, eyes wide and lips parted when you found yourself on top of him. Your fingers were threaded through his as you rode him. Your head was thrown back, soft moans leaving your lips while you slid yourself down onto him again and again. Your walls clung to him with every movement, desperately seeking a release, fingers tightening in his.
When Chris let your hands go, he sat up, clasping his hands behind your neck to bring you into a kiss. He nipped at your lips, one hand sliding down to hold your waist and guide your hips over him as he moved back to lean against the headboard.
“Not so quiet now, huh,” he groaned into the kiss.
You didn’t have the words to respond, only whimpering. You sighed his name, one hand dragging your nails down his arm.
“My shy baby just needs to be filled,” he whispered against your skin as he trailed his lips over your jaw. “…you just need to be fucked good, isn’t that right?”
You wrapped your arms around him, grinding down onto his cock. He flipped you both, the sound of skin slapping against skin filling the room as his movements became almost animalistic. You held onto him, gasps and broken moans climbing out of your throat as his thrusts fueled that fire in the pit of your stomach.
“Fuck, look at you…”
You could feel his gaze on your face, but you were too busy focusing on lifting your hips to meet his with every thrust. Chris brushed his thumb over your cheek, and your gaze fell down to where he disappeared into you. The sight pushed you closer to your climax, and you wrapped your legs around Chris, pulling him closer while running your fingers through his dark strands of hair.
“Come inside of me,” you moaned, tone pleading, and you could tell that it took him by surprise by the way his hips stuttered. “I want you to.”
You leaned your head up, kissing his chin and nipping at his throat. It pushed him over the edge, a low moan leaving him while he pushed his cock into you, emptying himself inside of you. The feel of him spilling into you and flooding your insides triggered your own climax, and you clenched around him, milking him and rolling your hips.
You could feel him spilling around you, and there was a warm tickle between your legs when he pulled out of you. You felt so sensitive, shuddering when Chris reached down to slide two fingers into you, curling them inside of you.
“If I was your ex, I’d want you back too…”
He leaned down to kiss the corner of your mouth, humming.
“…sucks for him that you’re mine now.”

Do you remember when we used to sing?
Eddie is away on tour while Steve is taking care of their daughter a few hours away. Too bad she can't fall asleep without her special bedtime song...
--
Steve’s brows pinched together as the cries grew in pitch and volume, almost drowning out the familiar click of ‘Hey it’s Eddie, call me back or don’t, I’m not your mother.’ from the speaker of his phone.
He had shifted from frustrated to desperate as he glanced over at their daughter, red faced and snot nosed. Bedtime was a solid hour past due and didn’t seem to be looming any closer.
“It’s okay, sweets, we’ll call him again.” Steve soothed as he ran a hand down the toddler’s back.
“Daddy!!!” She screamed again, choking with the effort of her sobs, as she squeezed her eyes shut. It had been love at first sight for Eddie and Steve when they had met Rayne’s mother. She was young, just turning 20 in the fall, with curly blonde hair and big brown eyes. She was looking for someone who wanted a baby that couldn’t naturally have their own and the agent connected the dots for them. After several months, little Rayne was theirs.
“I know,” Steve muttered as he pulled up Eddie’s contact again. Eddie had taken a break from touring after the adoption of their daughter but had recently started back up. It started off pretty well, the excitement of getting to have a Dad weekend with Steve pulling her through, but now the newness was gone and all little Rayne Munson-Harrington wanted was Eddie.
Eddie usually found weekend gigs but had found a week long slot in a club in St. Louis that promised great publicity and even better payment, so Corroded Coffin hit the road and Steve held down the fort with some help from Robin and Wayne. They were obligated to babysit, she was named after both of them afterall, and he was grateful because work had been taxing enough without adding a feisty 4 year old to the mix.
A flu bug was sweeping it’s way through Hawkin’s Elementary and it spared no casualties in Steve’s kindergarten classroom. He spent the day trying to keep the class from putting things in their mouths and making sure everyone washed their hands, sending a child or two home after seeing the greenish pale tints of nausea pass over their faces. He knew that he’d have to deal with kids puke at some point, especially as a parent, but he’d like to avoid it at all costs.
“Pick up your phone you ass.” He hissed through clenched teeth, rocking the inconsolable girl in his arms as he dialed again.
***
Eddie first felt the familiar jolt of vibration in his back pocket  just after the first chorus. The second time was just a few verses later. He smiled into the microphone as he continued to sing, ignoring his phone. The third time was in the bridge of the song, a particularly terrible time to take a call as Eddie’s hands were preoccupied with his guitar. The fourth time happened in the final notes of the song. The fifth during the applause. Eddie frowned as he pulled the device from his pocket, ignoring a glare from Jeff.
“Hey guys, you won’t believe this but my husband is facetiming me right now. This is like the fifth time he’s called so I’m going to answer, everybody be quiet and let’s see how long it takes him to remember that we had a later show tonight.” Eddie laughed as the audience silenced quickly. Steve’s irritated yet grateful face popped up on the screen seconds later.
“Hey love…” He crooned with a cheeky smirk.
“Your daughter is very upset with you.” Steve ignored the affectionate nickname.
“Why is she my daughter whenever she’s mad?” Eddie rolled his eyes. “Is she alright?”
“She’s been screaming since 8:30 Eds.” Steve ran a hand through his hair and blew out an exasperated sigh. “She’s refusing to sleep until you do it, that’s why I’ve been calling.”
“Steve I’m um…” Eddie glanced nervously at the audience in front of him. “Kind of in the middle of something.”
“Yeah I wanted to be relaxing right now too but our kid needs her dad and since he’s five hours away the very least he could do is sing her the damn song so that we all can get some rest.” Steve squinted at him. “You’re being weirder than usual. Are the guys there with you?”
“Yeah the guys are definitely with me.” Eddie ignored Gareth’s snicker. “Can I call you-”
“Edward, so help me God, sing the song so that she can go to sleep.” Steve interrupted. “Look at her.” Steve turned the camera to the distraught little girl and Eddie’s heart clenched.
“Hi angel, I hear you’re a little sad.” He frowned in solidarity with her as her lip stuck out. “No, don't cry, it’s okay Ray Ray.” She howled louder, tears popping from her wet lashes. He winced as he lip quivered, his resolve wearing down to nothing. He glanced over at Gareth, leaning over to whisper to him before looking back to his phone.
“Alright fine, let’s sing it, yeah?” Eddie placated. “You’re breaking my heart Bambi.” The wide eyes and long lashes practically gifted the nickname to her. He glanced back at Gareth who gave him a thumbs up before looking at the audience. “Daddy’s band is going to help him sing it, is that okay?” Rayne whimpered as she nodded, snuggled into Steve’s arms as he held the phone in front of her.
“Wait, are you on stage right now?” Steve leaned forward. “Shit, I’m sorry babe, I didn’t mean to interrupt the performance.”
“You couldn’t interrupt if you tried.” Eddie smiled. “Isn’t that right?” Steve could hear cheers from the audience. “We love our rock and roll family here and we honor our traditions, most of all the bedtime song. Ready boys? Sing along if you know it, our most honored guest is in the audience tonight and would love to hear you guys.”
With that, Jeff  played the opening notes on the guitar while Gareth tapped out the beat with the rarely used tambourine. The bass thumped along to Eddie’s singing, and though it admittedly wasn’t their usual style, the band loved Rayne like she was their niece and they would play anything to make her happy.
“-In the misty morning fog with our hearts a-thumping” Eddie held the microphone in one hand and the phone in the other, beaming at the smile on Steve’s face. “And you, my brown eyed girl.” Rayne giggled and clapped, tears still on her cheeks but sadness having finally passed.
***
Hours and miles away, Steve smiled as he shut the door to his daughter's bedroom, the nightlight softly glowing, as he hummed the song to himself. Tomorrow there would be a series of tweets about Eddie going soft and videos flying all around the internet, but for now, and for the first time that evening, the Munson-Harrington home was quiet.

o. buoy
If Satoru was forced to use some sort of ocean-related terminology to describe you, he’d say you’re a buoy.
You were the marine biology major. (What was the difference between that and oceanography? Satoru had no idea. You explained it to him at least twice though). Because of that, Satoru heard his fair share of marine terminology from you.
Buoys were those floating things at sea, the ones from Finding Nemo that had all the seagulls on it. You said they were guiding posts, gave heads up for reefs or they could be warnings for hazardous zones.
To Satoru, you were like an anchorless buoy that ー no matter how far he sailed ー he could never reach.
i. halocline
You’ve never felt permanent; not to Satoru.
You sooner felt like one of those quickly formed friendships you thought would last forever only for it to dwindle out as fast as it started. Then that person was just a forgotten name in your contacts list until you’re scrolling down and going ‘Who the hell is this? Delete’ without a second thought.
It was strange.
An oxymoron of the highest degree.
How did someone who was such a constant in his life from the moment you set foot in it simultaneously feel as impermanent as foam on the waves? One minute you were there, the next you weren’t. Satoru wasn’t sure when the fear of you disappearing entirely crept in.
When those looks started appearing on your face.
All he knew was that it started long before he started sleeping with you and it started long before you left.
One moment you’re hanging out ー undoubtedly doing something stupid. Singing the wrong lyrics to a song on the radio, putting Suguru’s hair in pigtails, watching María la del Barrio with Utahime who took one Spanish class and made telenovelas her entire personality for a month ー then you’d grow quiet and this far away look would be in your eyes. Satoru never knew where you went in those moments, but it wasn’t there.
So he’d do something to anchor you back to land. It didn’t have to be much.
A poke to the cheek,
a tickle to your side,
calling out to you,
sometimes he’d even play with your fingers.
It didn’t matter what he did as long as you’d blink and grin and go “what’s up?” and everything would feel right in the world.
It never would feel right long enough though; the look always came back and the feeling would persist.
When you sang songs in the car.
(“I can do it fast or slow, it really doesn't matter, though. 'Cause I'm a pro, what you say? You wanna take me toe to toe? Uh no, dude, I think so,” you’d rap Kel’s verse flawlessly like you’d rehearsed it for hours. “My style is phat and Immature’s got my back on this funky trackー” you pointed at Satoru enthusiastically.
“You want fries with that?” Satoru would point back with way too much passion for a line that went way too hard for what he was actually saying. “Coo coo ca-choo whatcha gonna do?”
Shoko would roll her eyes but she’d still be smiling when Suguru softly brought in the chorus with rhythmic bumps of his head, “watch me do my thing, I like to do my thing, watch me do my thing, everybody sayー”
Your head continued to bump along but you stopped singing along and looked out the window. Satoru remembered he threw his arm around your shoulders loudly belting the rest of the lyrics until you laughed and joined back in.)
When you indulged Utahime’s telenovela personality change.
(“[First], quit zoning out. I’m bored.”
“Hey, unlike you, I’m actually paying attention.”
“Oh yeah, then what’s been going on?”
“Soraya Montenegro is gasping in Spanish right now.”
“Can you both shut u- OH MY GODー”
“IS NO ONE GONNA STOP THIS BITCH?”)
And at parties.
(Satoru always knew you were about to leave when you made that face. Things could start perfectly at the beginning of the night. You’d finally skulk out of your cave like you were Gollum from Lord of the Rings and wave him over. The next moment? You were in deep thought while your friends made joke after joke, rip after rip.
“Sorry gang, but my lips don’t touch anything but Don Equis and Asahi,” you’d say with an air of regality not suited for a party of college students. “Maybe Corona if there’s nothing else. I’m not drinking... whatever this is. So I’m gonna head out, there’s a 24 hour liquor store around here somewhere.”
“You coming back?” Satoru didn’t know why he asked, he already knew what your answer would be.
“Nah, I think I’m done for the night. I’ll catch you guys later though.”
“I’ll walk you back to your place then.”)
He doesn’t know why he looked at your lips that night at the park.
You were friends, he liked being your friend. That’s all there was to it. It had always annoyed him up until that point when Suguru and Shoko joked the two of you were more like a couple than anything else. That he chased after you like a lovesick puppy, the pathetic but funny kind. He wasn’t sure why it annoyed him so much.
Maybe it was because it felt like it reduced everything about his friendship with you into that shit take that the opposite sex couldn’t just be friends.
Maybe it was something else entirely. He doesn't know.
You weren’t permanent.
Not while you sat beside him in a park at who knows when in the morning and not even when you reassured him his life would work out the way he wanted and you touched him like he was something precious to you.
“Be careful I don’t disappear for months, spirited away by the sea folk on my Children of the Sea shit. I’ll come back to shore occasionally, mysterious as the sea itself.” You already were as mysterious as the sea itself.
“Even if you got spirited away, I’d just go and bring you right back.” Satoru meant it. Even if, more than anything, it felt more like he was making that promise to reassure himself. It didn’t matter how far off to the sea you went as long as Satoru could bring you back to the shore. “You’ve doomed yourself.” More specifically you said that to him. Maybe he should have taken it more of a warning than a light-hearted nudge.
“You said it first, remember?” You did. He remembered it as clear as day. He’d stumbled onto an unstable boat and you were a buoy far off in the distance.
“There’s no ditching me now, not even at sea.” So stay. That’s all Satoru needed you to do.
The sprinklers that decided to join in on the moment must have been a sign that he was in the middle of a prophecy that was going to be fulfilled whether he wanted it to or not. That’s why he kissed you first in the doorway of your bathroom when you just came to ask if he wanted tea.
Buoys are supposed to have anchors, right?
Maybe he could be yours.
When Satoru woke up the day after the first time you slept together, he woke up alone.
It wasn't until he reached out an arm lazily to your side of the bed and he patted the mattress several times that he realized no one was there. The bed had long since gone cold so you had to have been gone for a while. Yes, you called five minutes later from McDonald’s cheerily going “Yooo, Satoru, I’m at Mickey D’s, what do you want?” Still it cemented your impermanence and that was only the first of many times he woke up by himself.
You could be out the house or in; Satoru preferred when you were in. Sometimes you’d be in the kitchen humming some unknown tune, other times you’d be watching TV on the couch. Either way, he could drape himself over you with a tired ‘morning’ and hold you close.
(“What are you wa- is that the new episode of Love is Blind?”
“Um… I only just started it two minutes ago?”
“[First], what the hell!? While I was asleep?!”)
From then on when Satoru saw those far away looks, he’d kiss you since it was on the table now. Satoru put everything into those kisses and you’d kiss him back just as hard.
Don’t go anywhere. He’d thread one hand into your hair and the other would pull your waist closer to his. Satoru didn’t want or need anything else. Stay.
You kissed him like you would.
It’s crazy how easily you could just slip away from everything like a ghost that hadn’t been there at all. It was shockingly apparent that impromptu trip you took to the beach in the middle of the semester.
Everyone had been together in awe of the bioluminescent dots in the sea and it donned on him you hadn’t said anything in a while. You were gone.
He’d painted his panic in his usual bravadoー nonchalant and grinning, claiming he was gonna go bother you for a bit.
It was a relief when he found you.
It was dreadful when he found you.
Satoru couldn’t see your face clearly but he could tell your look was intent on the sea and how it shined with the glow of a billion bright lights. If there was a ghost ship calling you out to the depths, Satoru knew you’d leave in a heartbeat.
You slowly became more noticeably distant from your group of mutual friends after that trip. It didn’t start immediately, you’d acted the same as usual at first. You still sang songs in the car, Utahime had grown out of her novela phase in favor of all of you losing your shit at the editing of Indian serial dramas and in between those moments Satoru found himself in your bed again.
It was around that time you started kissing his forehead; when the kisses started, that’s when you started drifting away from his orbit. You said it was homework, your profs telepathically communicating to increase your workload.
You alright?
What kind of sadists are your professors if you’re this busy?
Just let me know if you need me to come over some kind of distraction. Sorry for coming over earlier unannounced, I shouldn’t have assumed. Just wanted to make sure you were okay.
“Do you think she thinks I’m being clingy?” Satoru mumbled as he stared at your text that you were fine just dying from homework. You definitely thought he’s being clingy. He’d always been a bit clingy with his friends. He was probably more overbearing than usual though.
“Yes,” Kenjaku replied without missing a beat. “You’re gonna get dumped if you keep this up.”
God what does Suguru see in this guy? He’s like a fucking parasite. “I wasn’t asking you,” Satoru glared. “And she isn’t my girlfriend.”
Suguru snorted, running his hands through his boyfriend’s hair, “play nice both of you,” he said lightly and Satoru rolled his eyes. “But if [First] is saying she’s fine, then just trust that she’s fine. She’ll come back around when her workload decreases.”
Satoru glared with a pout, “you’re worried too, don’t act like it’s just me.”
“I never said it was, it’s just that between the two of us I’m handling it better. I sent her a surprise uber eats delivery yesterday.” Asshole, that was a brilliant idea. Satoru wished he thought of it first. Instead he asked Shoko to check on you; maybe you’d be more receptive if it wasn’t him bothering you for the tenth text in a row.
Shoko went to check on you. Apparently you were fine and Satoru was worrying for nothing. She even said that you would come and hang out with them soon. Some people might say it’s a bit petty to celebrate the failures of others. In another universe, Satoru might even agree with them. But in this universe, Satoru was a hater first and foremost. So if he and his friends wanted to go out to eat to celebrate the fact Zenin Naoya was bitching about a failing grade on an essay, he and his friends were going to go out and eat to celebrate Zenin Naoya failing his essay.
Apparently, you were all haters.
It was also just nice seeing you again. If Satoru was more poetic, he’d probably add a bunch of other things to that statement. It was just nice to have you back.
“Karma is probably gonna come back to clap us in the ass for celebrating someone getting a bad grade,” you snickered.
“Sounds like a problem for future us,” Suguru grinned with a twinkle in his eyes.
“We go to school with the Japanese version of Ben Shapiro,” Satoru choked on his strawberry smoothie when Shoko said that. “I think we’re covered on karma.”
“Y’all are terrible people,” Satoru clicked his tongue, shaking his head in disbelief and shame.
“Hey, good neighbor, this dinner was your idea,” you nudged him with a dry tone and a smile.
Satoru nudged back with a grin of his own.
Dinner was fun, lots of drinks and jokes. It was a non-alcoholic beverage sort of night. Shoko said it was because they’d clearly been drinking too much if Satoru of all people had gotten better with holding his liquor. Her point was fair but rude nonetheless yet when Satoru turned to whine for you to come to his defense, the distant glaze was over your eyes and your smile was smaller than it had been the last time he looked at it.
“[First],” your motion to close your apartment door stopped and you hummed with a raised eyebrow. Satoru felt more dread than usual that night. Something about the air had been different. The face you made felt different than it normally did. It was always distant, you were always far away, but tonight was the worst it had ever been. “We’re good, right?”
You look at him like he grew an extra four eyes. “Why wouldn’t we be?”
Satoru couldn’t meet your eyes as he shrugged wordlessly. You’d probably say he was being ridiculous and clingy if he mentioned anything but he couldn’t find anything else to say to make himself seem unbothered either.
You rolled your eyes with a grin before stretching your arms out wide. “You’re being overdramatic, you big baby. Come here, big guy,” Satoru pulled you in close, burying his nose in the corner of his neck. Despite welcoming your embrace, it did nothing to soothe Satoru’s anxieties.
“I’ll see you later, yeah?” Satoru asked without pulling away from you completely.
The way you smiled at him was warm but it still somehow felt unreadable. Satoru knew all of your smiles. Your happy ones,
the sad ones,
the one you made when Sora finally got into Smash.
The ones you made when you were mad that he was successfully charming his way out of you being mad at him.
Satoru didn’t know this one.
Despite that fact, Satoru let you cup his face in your hands and he let you stand on the tip of your toes to place a kiss on his forehead. “See you, Satoru."
ii. undertow
Sleep didn’t come to Satoru after he laid in bed.
His head was too full as he kept running back through what you told him after he took you home.
You didn’t say you’d see him later.
You’re just being overdramatic, Satoru forced his eyes to close. You’re always overdramatic. It’s my best trait 30% of the time.
No one else said anything that night, it was just him who felt like this, right? It was always just him. If everyone else felt like something was off all night, someone would have mentioned it by now. With that, Satoru forced his eyes closed for all of five minutes before he decided to send, at the very least, a dumb meme. Something that’d make you laugh when you saw it and would make you reply “I’m wheezing” or “that’s so us!”
A quick stroll through his photos was all it took to find something suitable. He can’t remember exactly what it was, only that it was stupid.
It was stupid and didn’t go through to your phone.
A disconnect and reconnect dance to his wifi later and it still didn’t go through.
Satoru’s feet was on the pavement before not even a heartbeat after he calmly made sure his apartment was locked.
He just had to be sure you were okay. It was just him being an overdramatic, big baby. Your phone died or something and that’s why nothing was going through. Or maybe this was like the time you put your phone in airplane mode to narrowly avoid sending Shoko the wrong meme and then forgot to switch it back off.
You don’t answer the door when he knocks and he goes back and forth between knocking and trying to reach you on your other socials.
Twitter? Blocked.
He can’t find you anywhere else.
Instagram.
LINE.
Discord.
It’s like you were never there, gone from all the group chats and servers you once shared.
Satoru stayed outside of your apartment for the better part of an hour before one of your neighbors opened her door tired and annoyed.
“Dude, do you know what time it is?” Your neighbor asked groggily. She’s a nice girl, the reason rent was low enough in the area you could afford an apartment on your own. Apparently she wrecked shit in the neighborhood on the low to keep the rent down. Even better was the fact she was the landlord’s daughter. Not all heroes wore capes.
“Sorry,” Satoru knew he must look like a maniac with his messy hair and wide eyes. “have you seen [First]? I’m having a hard time reaching her.”
The neighbor gave him a funny look, “she moved out tonight,” she told him like that was the fifth time she told him that her favorite color was orange. “I thought it was weird you didn’t help with moving her stuff out a few days ago. She gave me the key to give it to my dad tomorrow. Didn’t she tell you she was leaving?”
iii. la niña
Satoru didn’t know which was worse sometimesー the fact Shoko kept the fact he had a daughter a secret for five years or how he found out.
It wasn’t like Shoko approached him one gloomy night when memories of the most prominent ghost in his life began bubbling to the surface. She didn’t grimly say that she needed to tell him something and he should sit down for it. She didn’t start off with apologies, saying she felt she had no choice or that if things had gone different she would have told him.
None of that happened.
Satoru found out by accident.
Accident.
All because Shoko didn’t hear him approach her when she was on her phone scrolling through instagram. She was so focused on whatever she was looking at, she didn’t even notice how Satoru quietly snickered to himself and snuck behind her to give her spook. He was just about to say something, ready for swears and ‘you’re so annoying, what are you 12?!’s when he took an instinctual glance at her phone and he saw you.
Thoughts of scaring Shoko went out the window in a matter of milliseconds. He didn’t even feel his body move when he snatched her phone out of her hand.
“Heyー” Shoko started with an offended hiss but when she looked over her shoulder, she looked like she saw an impending storm and her jaw clamped shut.
Satoru took in the photo like it was the last thing he’d ever see. You were dressed in a blue t-shirt and cream colored shorts, some aquarium’s logo stitched into your clothes. You were holding a kid, hugging her tightly and kissing her cheek while the girl was caught mid-giggle. And when Satoru looked at the little girl in your arms, it was his eyes that looked back.
“I- she told me not to say anything,” Shoko murmured, brown eyes looking anywhere but at him. Then the secrets came rolling out one after the other.
“If I didn’t see this picture,” Satoru’s grip tightened on Shoko’s phone to ground himself to the present. “Were you still going to keep this a secret from me?”
Her answer was silence.
iv. el niño
“I have to be honest,” from the corner of your eye, you see Satoru chasing after Itsuki, Nanako and Mimiko. Suguru is watching next to you on the bench, your respective care bags for accidents and playground injuries at the ready between you. “I thought I’d be more surprised you’re a dad now. But it kinda just makes sense. You always had ‘single mom’ energy in school.”
Brown eyes flash with recognition, “you had a dream about me adopting kids once, right?”
“No, I had a dream where you were off a perk and calling people without powers ‘monkeys’,” you correct your old friend petulantly. As if he should have remembered after all these years without contact. “You just happened to adopt children in the process of all that.”
Suguru snorts, “my apologies for getting the details wrong. So you had a dream that I adopted kids once and that I was off a perk."
"Exactly, thank you."
A silence somewhere between comfortable and awkward settles over the two of you, save for the squeals of little girls and Satoru’s manic laughter as the evil sorcerer king.
Suguru looks nice.
He’s still rocking the man bun but he’s opted to let some of his hair hang loose and he’s a couple hundred pounds down a shitty, parasitic boyfriend. Suguru and Kenjaku broke up halfway through the semester after you transferred. “Before you ask, yes, we had dinner to celebrate,” Suguru told you when you saw him for the first time in years a few days ago.
You’ve had your fair share of private updates on the lives of your old friends you didn’t keep in contact with. Shoko kept you up to date on everything. A surprising number of your old friends had gone into the field of educationー Utahime, Suguru and Satoru. You wonder how Satoru’s parents reacted to that information. You have yet to ask; it seemed like too much of a mood killer when Satoru happily recounted stories about his students a few weeks ago.
When Itsuki almost trips you make to stand but Satoru catches her before you can blink.
“He’s pretty good with her,” Suguru says like he’s a mind reader. “There was this kid we used to babysit, Riko, when we were younger. He said he hated it but he’s always been pretty good with kids.”
You can believe it. There’s plenty of things you remember Satoru complaining about despite his inherent talents in them. It makes you want to cry sometimes seeing how good he is with Itsuki. Your daughter is smart enough to play neutral when he asks but you’re pretty sure your daughter has a favorite parent. Adorable little traitor, you laugh softly to yourself. You’d think five years would give someone an edge.
Five years.
“Are you… mad?” You look at your old friend from the corner of your eye.
Suguru takes his time answering, mulling over unknown thoughts in his head. Playful as you remember Suguru being, he’s always been introspective. He thinks before he acts, lets things slowly come to a boil before turning off the stovetop. “I was more worried than mad to start,” he finally speaks. “It’s not everyday an entire group of people gets ghosted. I’m a little mad you didn’t open up though.”
Your smile is small and your eyebrows knit apologetically.
“But at the end of the day, this is nothing compared to what went down between Satoru and me in high school. So I guess I can forgive you.” You never did get the story about Satoru and Suguru’s mysterious high school turning point. The itch to know all the details is minor compared to the way your shoulders relax when Suguru shoots you a familiar smile. I missed you too. “Just don’t do anymore disappearing acts.” Smooth as they come, Suguru raises a closed fist just above your care bags.
Smile a bit more grand, you bump the side of your fist to his. “I can happily vouch that it won’t be happening again.”
“Good. It’s nice to have you back.”
“It’s nice being back.”
v. sea state
“Did you get an undercut?”
“Yeah, a while ago,” Satoru grins. “I look nice, right?”
“Please accept the compliment normally so your arrogance doesn’t rub off on our daughter,” you shake your head but a good-natured grin is plastered on your face. “Itsuki, make sure Daddy behaves. You’re in charge as the honorary aquarist.”
Itsuki’s eyes fill with delight at the duty bestowed upon her. “I will,” she promises, chest puffed with as much pride as a five year old can produce. It’s a rare day off in the middle of the week for Satoru. Normally he’s confined to his school during these hours, but thanks to some school holiday you scheduled in advance for him to take Itsuki around your aquarium. It isn’t the first time Itsuki’s been, you’d taken her there before she could even walk. It might as well be her first visit though from how she’s beaming. “Daddy, you have to be good so Mommy doesn't get mad.”
“As you command, general,” Satoru salutes playfully, picking Itsuki up in his arms. “Now then, if you excuse us, this father-daughter duo is gonna enjoy the aquarium while you work.”
“Bup bup bup,” you tut before the man can take off. “At least let me get my goodbye kiss before you run off to have fun without me,” you peck Itsuki’s cheek once, twice before blowing a raspberry and she squeals. “Alright,” you place your hands on your hips. “You two go have fun. Tell Daddy all the names you gave the whale sharks, okay?”
You think that’s that until Itsuki innocently asks, “where’s Daddy’s kiss, Mommy?” You blink once. Maybe you misheard- “You’re supposed to give both of us goodbye kisses, aren’t you?” Apparently you haven’t.
“I think Daddy’s too old for goodbye kisses, Itsuki.”
Itsuki squints, unsatisfied with your answer, “but Grandma always kisses Granny and they’re ancient.”
Why do your parents have to have a long lasting and fulfilling love life?
You and Satoru share an awkward smile as you both wonder what either of you can do to get out of this situation. Kissing Satoru used to be as easy as breathing. He’s always been the more affectionate of the two of you and it rubbed off on you some time during your university days. But you’re not in university anymore and your relationship has most definitely changed since then.
Still with bated breath, you gesture for Satoru to bring his head low enough for you to kiss his forehead, “there. Now both of you go have fun.”
If you think you see Satoru’s expression dim, he’s all smiles the moment you blink. “Try not to be jealous when you see us feeding the stingrays, [First].” He’s gone before you can tease you’re the one of the employees that help with that.
Once a maelstrom, always a maelstrom.
You love your place of work, it always has a familiar noisy sort of peaceful bathed in the light of blue decorated in corals, pinks and purples. Aquariums have a special magic to them. You fell in love with the sea when you were young and never fell out. The magic somehow is renewed every time you clock in, even on the most trying days.
How can you not when you see the dozens of people that stop by with the same love?
How can you not when you see dozens of people that stop by and fall in love with it for the first time?
“Hi, Mommy!” You hear Itsuki call from a distance. You wonder how she can even see you when you look up and see she’s on Satoru’s shoulders. It’s so natural, the two of them together. She’s wearing his sunglasses, if you can really say that. They keep sliding off her face but she holds onto them resolutely and Satoru is smiling widely in front of the tank full of black tip reef sharks, whale sharks and dozens of other fish in between.
You don’t know how your heart can fill with even more affection than you thought possible but it does. “Hi, baby,” you wave back. “I love you!”
“I love you too!” I have to enjoy that before she gets old enough to start thinking she’s too cool to tell her mom I love you. You know Satoru should too when you see her lean over to plant her father an awkward kiss on his head. You can’t hear what she tells him but you can guess she must be saying she loves him. Even from his profile, you can tell Satoru is saying he loves her back from how adoringly he looks up at her.
You see Itsuki giggling and saying something else you can’t hear, looking down at her father in earnest.
Whatever it is she says, Satoru looks over at you with eyes that are wide and somehow reflect all of the blue from tank lights. Despite how it makes your heart twist, you give him another small wave. When he doesn’t wave back, you wonder what it is your daughter could have said that had him in such a stupor.
Whatever he says to Itsuki, his eyes stay on you while he says it.
vi. nearshore
“Do you still like the same brand of honey or no?” You call over your shoulder from the kitchen.
It’s unusually quiet in your apartment since Itsuki is at your parents’ house for the weekend. You only realized you’d forgotten to tell your co-parent when he showed up at your house with sweets in hand. “What Itsuki doesn’t know won’t hurt her,” you told him with a snicker when you invited him inside to eat them.
“Satoru?” You call out again.
No response.
You turn off the eye your kettle is on and look out into the living room. He’s right where you left him. “Hey,” you sit on the ottoman in front of him. He blinks in surprise when he sees your hand waving in front of face. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Satoru smiles but it doesn’t reach his eyes.
“Let me rephrase that question,” you start anew. “What’s wrong? Come on now,” you grin crookedly. “You’ve always sucked at pretending to be okay in front of me.”
Satoru’s smile falters for a heartbeat, “yeah?”
“Yes, Mr. Bravado,” Satoru might have been an expert at fooling others, but you know him. He was the guy who never took notes but passed every test because he worked his ass off in the background. The type who’d act oblivious but you realize halfway through a meal that the reason he took you is because he noticed you’d been feeling down lately. It’s one of the things you love about him. “So come out with it, fess up.”
One, two, three seconds pass before Satoru finally cracks.
“I’m mad. More at myself than anything.” Before you can reply, Satoru opens his mouth again but it feels more like he's talking to himself. “I shouldn’t be upset anymore, right? We made up.” Satoru runs his fingers through his hair in frustration. “We made up,” he says again. “I shouldn’t still be mad about anything. Things have been going great.”
Satoru finally falls silent and he looks tired. You hate you’re the reason for it. “It’s okay to still be mad about Itsuki. I’m sorry,” you whisper. “I… I’d take it back if I could. I know that doesn’t mean anything after five years but I mean it. Even if I was scared I should have told you. I just- I don’t know, it had gotten into me. I was thinking how you couldn’t commitー”
“You thought I was non-committal?” Satoru raises an eyebrow and he looks hurt by your revelation.
“Satoru, you have never been in a relationship with anyone throughout the time I’ve known you,” you rub your finger and thumb together nervously. Five years later is as good as any time to have a conversation you should have had long ago. “You were scared when I asked what our relationship was, remember?”
“I didn’t know what the right answer was,” Satoru argues with his hands raised. “I thought you were tired of our friends always talking about us being a couple.”
“You were relieved when I said that-” you stammer over your words thoughts going much faster than your mouth could. You remember the tormented days of unrequited affection quite clearly. If there was someone who avoided romantic relationships like the plague, it was Satoru. He was a flirt, relished in the attention he received for his well-known good looks. Regardless, he’d never committed to anyone. “You said fucking someone else was a non-issue! For all I knew you were sleeping with someone else, it wasn’t like we were-”
“It was a non-issue if it meant you weren’t going to take off and start avoiding me!” Satoru snaps like you’ve grown a second head. Maybe you did judging by how he looks at you incredulously. Your mouth closes, unsure what to say next and Satoru looks away with a scoff. “It’s the other way around,” he mutters so soft you almost didn’t catch it. “you were the non-committal one.”
“Excuse me?” It’s your turn to look at Satoru like his body has magically sprung additional body parts. When he doesn’t immediately say anything, you double down. “Satoru, you don’t get to say that and then turn around and not elaborate on it.”
“You know, the first day we met, Suguru told me that I acted like the sun shined out of your ass,” Satoru says much to your confusion. But he went on, lost in his memories, “it might as well have, I thought you were so cool. I wanted you in my life so bad from pretty much the moment you said I doomed myself. I didn’t care what happened next in my life as long as you were there for it.
“But you left me,” Satoru croaks with a smile, crystal blue eyes dark and empty. “You left me.” The way he says it breaks your heart. “I’m so gone for you. I’ve always been gone for you. I just didn’t want to see it. Somehow I always knew you’d leave.” He laughs, cold and humorless and completely lost. “And you did.
“You could be right there with me and then suddenly be so far away. It always felt like you would just up and leave one day. You and Utahime always talked about intuition and trusting it. I guess mine was saying from early on ‘this girl is gonna break your heart one day, don’t fall in love with her.’”
“I knew it when you got those far away looks in your eyes. I knew it when I woke up that first morning alone. I knew it when you didn’t say you’d see me later. And just like that you were gone on that ghost ship. You left and didn’t even tell me you were going. Do you know how much that fucking hurt? I wait outside for hours and your neighbor’s the one who tells me you’re gone. I may have purposely lied to myself about how I felt but I never slept with anyone else. I didn’t want anyone else. I was the one who kept reaching out, you never reached back.
Itsuki’s the second tier on the cake and the rest of the frosting. You’ve been gone on that ghost ship for five years and when I finally catch up, I still feel like I’m drowning.”
“... I didn’t mean to make you feel that way. I didn’t know.”
“I know. That’s almost the worst part. Guess I didn't wear my heart on my sleeve as much as you thought.”
.
.
.
“It was the week after our second year midterms,” you recall when you were six years younger and the biggest problem you had in life was a professor was out to get you. Midterms had finally passed and you were on a victorious emotional high after finishing your last exam. At least until some asshole who should have covered their mouth coughed and you were coughing by the end of the day. “I got a cold and just so I could breathe better when I slept, you let me lay on you on the couch the whole time even though you ended up getting sick afterwards.”
You’d felt so bad, coughing all the while but Satoru hadn’t let you budge an inch, proudly claiming ‘I don’t get sick, I’m built different so cough away.’ When he got sick days later, he said over coughs, ‘This has nothing to do with when you were sick. This is from Suguru.’ “That was when I realized that I’d been stupidly in love with you ever since I met you.”
Gojou Satoru has been called many things throughout your years of knowing him. But for you, the fall child has always been easy to love. He was made for it. “You were a pain in the ass but you were my pain in the ass. I never wanted it any other way.”
“Stop being mean to me,” Satoru leans forward to rest his head on your shoulder just as you wrap your arms around his back. “Don’t you know who you’re being mean to when you’re being an ass?”
You laugh weakly, “the guy I’m still gone for?” When you hear a sniffle in the corner of your neck, you tighten your grip.
"Don't go away this time," Satoru hugs back.
vii. ocean deep, seafoam soft
Satoru finds himself in your bed again for the first time in years.
“I confess my love to you and you try to kill me, I'm hurt.”
“Oh don’t be such a baby, I didn’t even know it was there,” you chuckle fondly after the two of you stumble into your bed after nearly tripping on a stray toy on your floor. Satoru loves that laugh. He loves how you look up at him with all the adoration in the world. “Remember that time we forgot that textbook was on your bed?”
“Please don’t remind me, my back hurts just remembering it,” Satoru whines but laughter escapes him despite his apparent trauma. It wasn’t one of your best moments during your shared years of sexual escapades in college. You pull him down kiss his lips tenderly and he practically moans, relishing the feeling. No more forehead kisses, he wants to tell you. You did that a lot before you left.
"I love you," Satoru whispers in awe at the words falling out of his own mouth. In awe at the fact you’re even there with him at that moment. “I love you.”
Your hands cup his face like he's something precious and you thumbs away the tears pooling in his eyes despite the ones in your own, "I love you too.”
Satoru’s had sex with you more times than he can count.
He memorized everything, refused to forget a single detail. It feels like the first time all over again.
The way one set of your fingernails dig into his back while he envelopes your other hand with one of his own. How your fingers intertwined tightly. How amazing you feel squeezing around him tightly. The speed of your pulse as he peppers your throat with kisses and soft nips. The ache between his legs as he rolls his hips into you gently yet persistently, chasing his high but wanting it to last long beyond the confines of this singular moment.
It’s not just this one moment anymore though. “[First],” Satoru squeezes your hand tighter. “[First].”
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
Don’t leave me this time, Satoru gasps like a man starved for air before kissing you again desperately. Stay.
(When Satoru wakes up the next morning to you in his arms and playing with his hair at the base of his neck, he feels like could cry. He nestles into your chest with a tired grin, “morning.”)
viii. anchor
Gojou Itsuki, that’s the name staring back at him.
Satoru loves when it’s his birthday. Until Itsuki was born it was arguably the best day in the universe. The importance of birthdays tends to titter on the rope of priorities, but it’s the one day of the year when the people important to him would pop up to say ‘hi’. Even people from the past. An old teacher he used to drive crazy but always said he thought Satoru had a lot of potential.
His mom still sent him a birthday text even if most of their exchanges are dry the rest of the year.
Even his students will tip in to get him a card and some sort of celebratory gift on December 7th.
December 7th lost a bit of its shine when you exited from his life. With you and Itsuki both in it, it shines tenfold.
It’s just the light is too blinding when Satoru takes out his last present of a plain envelope and he sees Gojou Itsuki written in bold and clear text.

Number One (PG6)
Summary: Gavi being your biggest supporter.
A/N: Quick one! Miss him on the field already :(
Word count: 700+

Tumblr media
“I can’t tell you all how much it means to me that you’re here – I love you. Thank you so much for your support!” You exclaimed, in awe of the crowd chanting your name.
“I wanna dedicate this song,” you continued smiling as the cheering intensified, “to a special someone who’s basically my muse for this whole EP, thanks for getting me famous,” you joked, “Oh, and also for making me feel loved.”
The beginning beats of your most popular song began to play and if you thought the crowd was loud before they went even crazier, screaming when they saw the camera pan over to Gavi in the VIP section, a proud smile on his face while he cheered along with your fans.
You had just confirmed the rumors that had been circulating for weeks – you were together.
You couldn’t keep the grin off your face as you sang the chorus, hearing the crowd sing along, the camera once again panning to Gavi, showing him scream-singing the lyrics with his sister, his grin mirroring your own.
You bowed once you had finished your set, thanking your audience once again. You looked over to the VIP section and made eye contact with Gavi, he immediately put his hands into a heart shape, lifting it above his head for you to see.
You felt your heart swell, usually, you would be the one doing that at his games, and it meant so much to you that he had come to support you and had done the same thing.
Without a second thought, you copied his actions, taking a final bow as you exited the stage.
Your heart was pounding, adrenaline racing through your veins.
You couldn’t believe it. You had just played your first big festival and everyone had seemed to love it.
You were in the middle of taking off your earpiece when you saw Gavi and Aurora walking towards you.
You finished unhooking yourself before you met them in the middle pulling them into a group hug.
“You were amazing Y/n!” Aurora praised you.
You let out a laugh, “Thank you! And thank you guys for coming!”
“I wouldn’t miss it for anything.” Gavi replied.
Aurora huffed, “He’s definitely not lying about that.”
You gave her a questioning look.
She sighed, giving Gavi a glare, “Gavi was so annoying, he kept rushing me. He was so worried we wouldn’t make it in time that we left an hour and a half earlier than we needed to, and he wouldn’t even let me walk around, scared that we would miss your performance, so we stood in that tent for like three hours.”
You turned to face a blushing Pablo, who was desperately trying to avoid eye contact with you, embarrassed at having been called out.
You reached out, wrapping your arms around his waist as you peered up at him, “Awh Pablo! Thank you, you didn’t have to do all that.”
He finally looked at you, hands coming to rest against your shoulders, as his fingers absentmindedly played with the ends of your hair.
“Couldn’t miss your first performance. Especially since it was dedicated to me.”
You rolled your eyes at him, “Mhm how do you know I wasn’t talking about another guy?”
He gave you an offended look, “Please Y/n. We both know that no one makes you feel the way I do.”
You felt your stomach fill with butterflies at his words, you wanted him, and he knew it.
“Am I wrong?” He asked, face inching closer to yours.
Your eyes stayed fixed on his as he moved closer, a mischievous grin adoring his features.
“Ugh enough coupley shit.” Aurora groaned from beside you.
You laughed, pulling yourself back to reality and separating yourself from Gavi even as he tried to bring you back.
“Sorry! It’s all friendly here.” You declared.
Aurora smiled, grabbing your hand, “Perfect. Well, in that case, Gavi we’ll meet you by the food carts, I have to show Y/n this stand.”
You giggled as she pulled you along, looking back to see Gavi with an annoyed expression on his face as he watched his sister pull you away.
“I’ll be back!” You yelled.
“Not soon enough.” He shook his head smiling.

Oh wow, I was not expecting a whole drawing of them trying the dance and falling around. It's very beautifully done, I rmmbr just staring in awe for a while at first 🩵
I have another odd question about the she trio/ass gang, which u don't have to draw
Cause I saw a little video of Harvey going hard; dancing to MiseryxCPR(xReese's Puffs) and it had me laughing for a long while, and I wondered who would be the ones singing the song if say the stardrop saloon had some kind of karaoke night
My head tells me both Sam and Abagail would end up doing Reeses's puffs, but that would leave one of the other songs without a host :/
Harvey would probably end up saying stuff about how cpr doesn't require mouth-to-mouth anymore or smthn, and Shane probably worried Marnie would walk in-or just, too drunk off his ass having fun to care 🤔
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
nah man i just have to draw them. and oh look I even have another essay under readmore! 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
✨Also my commissions are open! ✨ if anyone is interested! :D< please reblog/share the og comm sheet ,if you can! it would help me a lot thank you!!!
Honestly i can imagine them all just being pissed drunk before attempting to sing the song😂. i know fersure the SHE trio would require more liquid courage for it (heck even to join/start a kareoke sesh!)
Shane gives of major Kareoke Tito (uncle) vibes~. Yknow that one tito who specifically sings “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and has a bunch of classic rock songs under his belt. He’s not good at singing perse but he can at least carry a tune. He and Sebastian would totally connect with singing Misery. but like Shane vaguely knows the song (he’s heard it on radio a bajillion times but he doesnt know the name of the song so its not quite on his playlists) so he when he’s super sloshed and can barely read the screen, he tries to sing it from memory and misses a couple of the words. but hey! at least he knows the chorus and is in tune.
Meanwhile Sebastian has Misery “secretly” on his go to playlist. He doesnt admit it (the songs is too main stream and overplayed but he stumbled upon a vocaloid cover and rest is history.) He definitely always chooses the song every kareoke sesh (although not his first choice) and he’s passionate about it even has a little performance too(lots of head bangs, fist pumps and that classic 2000s disney knees bent together, feet wide apart moment)! For his duet with shane he’s the first to shed a lil tear and that gets shane going and they cry through most of the song in their own lil misery world ignoring the chaos around them.
Sam is a fucking menace for singing CPR and I do agree He and Abigail would go off on Reese’s Puff BUT i can definitely imagine being commited to singing CPR (we all know he’d awkwardly twerk). Especially if it was to troll on Harvey who probably thought it was a wholesome song about doing CPR at a specific BPM.
Harvey good lird poor harvey! He’s probably the most sober out of everyone. It doesnt help that he’s no light weight + lowkey becomes designated baby sitter everytime (he’s soooooooo going charge them extra in the morning if they come stumbling into his clinic asking for some hangover cure). He was so excited about adding a new song to CPR tempo list he was gonna teach at the nex first aid classes!! Who would have thought that a singer with a cute wholesome name like Cupcakke was just so… sooooo SCANDALOUS!!! He should have known Sam was up to something the moment he grabbed him by the shoulder!!! “This is medical malpractice, Samson!!!” He spends the whole trying to sush Sam who’s having so much fun laughing at Harvey’s reaction 😂
Abigal. F e r a l.
Help! Elliot has fallen over! He honestly just has a mild peanut allergy but he has been drinking and hooo boi. thats not good. thank goodness Harvey is sobered up (with the help of Sam ofc) and has an epipen on hand! Catch Leah cackling from her seat by the bar before assisting Harvey.

The Music In Me
Fandom: Ted Lasso
Pairing: Jamie Tartt x F!Reader
Summary: You and the AFC Richmond team go to a karaoke bar to celebrate a win.
A/N: phil dunster, pls serenade me. i beg.
Tumblr media
Your relationship with Jamie was fairly new. You were a photographer that Keeley hired to do some campaign shots of the team. Jamie made you laugh when it was time for his shots and the rest is history.
You two were definitely still in the honeymoon phase of the relationship. Something new and exciting. You thought being with a hotshot like Jamie would be difficult, with his fame and notoriety, but it wasn't. It was the complete opposite. He made things so easy. You enjoyed his company, he made you laugh, was considerate of your feelings. You felt seen and heard by him.
You were smitten and everyone can tell he felt the same.
"Cheers!" you holler with the Richmond boys, clinking your shot glasses and beers together. Jamie was the only one drinking water now, since Roy gave him a limit of two beers.
You down your shot and wince. Jamie snickers, "Strong?" he asks, offering you his water.
"Very," you gulp some of it down and hand it back to him, "Think I'm done for shots tonight."
Jamie nods, "Probably best. Don't want you completely plastered when we go up there," he points to the stage where Dani is getting ready to sing his song.
You look at him in surprise, "You signed us up?"
He nods, "Yup. I need everyone to know that me girl's got a voice of an angel."
You snort, "Think you're exaggerating a bit, babes, but it's fine. What song did you pick?"
He smirks at you, "You'll see."
_________________
You, Jamie, and the guys burst into hollers and whoops as Sam and Bumbercatch hop down from the stage after their rendition of "No Scrubs".
The emcee walks up and speaks into the mic, "Wow! That was surprisingly really well done. Anyway, next up we have," she pauses to look at the clipboard of names, "Jamie and Y/N!"
The boys are no cheering for you and Jamie as you stand and make your way to the stage. Jamie hops up first, offering his hand out to you to help you onto the platform.
You shyly smile at him as he guides you to one mic stand and he stands at the other. There's a a screen at the corner of the stage so you can see the words "Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheeran" appear.
You smile widely at Jamie and he gives you a wink. He knows you love to listen to Taylor Swift.
The acoustic guitar rang out from the speakers and the screen told you to get ready to sing in 3..2...1.
All I knew this morning when I woke Is I know something now, know something now I didn't before And all I've seen since 18 hours ago Is green eyes and freckles And your smile in the back of my mind making me feel like
You turn to Jamie smiling from ear to ear and he's looking at you like you hung up the stars in the sky.
I just wanna know you better Know you better, know you better now I just wanna know you better Know you better, know you better now
Jamie joins in and takes you a bit off guard,
I just wanna know you better Know you better, know you better now I just want to know you, know you, know you
The both of you go into the chorus and you stare at Jamie wide-eyed because you didn't know he sings so well. Sure you've heard him singing under his breath or humming, but never so loud and confident like this.
Then he goes into the next few lines and you just stare at him in awe. He moves closer to you, having you face him while he sings. He knows this song by heart because not once has he glanced at the screen as he serenades you. You're caught up in him that you forget to sing, jumping back into the chorus with him.
You two continue this song and dance. He twirls you around while singing with you and you do your best to keep up. Your heart and stomach are fluttering in the best way as he pulls you in as you both finish the last line of the song
All I know since yesterday Is everything has changed
The guys are absolutely losing their minds. It's clear none of them knew that Jamie could sing.
Jamie hops down from the stage, offering his hand again as you jump down as well. He kisses your temple and wraps and arm around your waist, guiding you back to the group while everyone applauds.
As you two reach them, the guys are patting you and Jamie on the shoulders.
"Bruv, how come you didn't tell us you can sing?!" Isaac asks in disbelief.
Jamie shrugs, "Not really important in football, is it?"
"Still. You got mad talent," Isaac says.
Dani chimes in, "A voice of an angel!"
You snort and nudge Jamie, "So much for showing me off. You took my spotlight," you say jokingly.
Jamie winces, "Sorry, babe."
You chuckle, shaking your head, "No, no it's fine. Really. I'm more upset at the fact you never sang around me like that before. You know you definitely have to sing more around me now, right?"
He grins at you, "Whatever you want, love," he kisses your cheek.

ghoul the baby fever is in me full Force good lord and re-reading some of your works Truly makes my primal hindbrain work overtime …
Bun please excuse me while I talk about babies. I have thoughts I cannot get outta my head. This is just pure baby fever and family fluff, and Soap giving his niece her nickname
No one would describe your family home as quiet, and that certainly didn't change with the introduction of your little one. There were quiet moments sure, but now isn't one of them. Now is full of music and laughter and a baby in a bouncy seat jumping excitedly along to the music Soap plucks out of his guitar. The man himself is laid on the ground beside the baby, only sitting up enough to grab a drink or steal a kiss from Moon. It's a good night.
"You wanna play somethin' that ain't half solo work," You ask, kicking Soap's boot. He laughs, and hardly bothers changing his tune.
"Ah dinnae ken," He sits up with a grunt to pick out a nursery rhyme for the baby, "you got a request wee one?" She giggles, bouncing excitedly in her seat and grabbing at his face. You hear familiar pickings and shake your head, this kid is never going to grow up normal when ever song she hears involves something dying.
"Go jack-rabbit runnin' through the wood, you had a good night and you feel real loose, heard they got you goin' 'round the goosecreak shed, tryin'a fill yer belly full'a buckshot lead," Soap sings to the baby, she squeals, and jumps along with his strumming. You take over for the chorus as he laughs.
"Hops more than she walks," He teases, "You sure you got a bairn not a frog?" You swat at him.
"Why couldn't she be a rabbit?" You laugh.
"You not listenin' to the song, people kill rabbits." Soap raises a brow, before cooing at the baby, "They do froggy, I know." He leans back, settles down on the floor again, "'Sides, she's cute like a frog, real good at the noises too."
You baby looks up at you, jumping with her pudgy little legs. She babbles and reaches up to be held. You really can't say no to her, and scoop her up into your arms. Soap returns to his idle picking, fingers quick on the frets as he plucks at the strings.
"You a little frog, Mary?" You ask her, bouncing her on your hip. Mary babbles, matching your tone as best she can. She taps her head dramatically against your shoulder as you walk.
Simon glances your way as you enter the kitchen, leaned back against the counter talking to your dad. He's got a bottle dangling between his fingers, and a lazy stance. You love seeing him so at ease. He hardly pays any mind taking Mary from you when you offer her, setting his beer on the counter and plucking his daughter from your arms without losing his sentence. She picks through his dog tags, chewing on the chain while you reach behind him to grab a bag of pretzels for her.
You hear an excited giggle and the sound of Simon kissing her chubby cheek. You turn in time to watch Mary do the same, smushing her face against his jaw in a loose approximation of the affection. Simon still smiles, always a small sliver of emotion that makes your heart light up. He tips her forward to let her hang out of his arms before pulling her back up, along with a barrage of baby laughter.
"Soap's callin' her froggy," You tell him, offering your overexcited infant a pretzel.
"Never gettin' rid of that one," You dad laughs.
"You're loud like one," Simon tell Mary in agreement. You smack his arm, he chuckles, bouncing her as she gums a pretzel. "Cute like one too."
You hum, leaning your head against Simon's shoulder. "Kids'll tease 'er."
"Don't the McCoys have a kid named Booger?" Simon asks.
"Good point." You laugh, and take your daughter's hand between your fingers to kiss.
"Frog's good, people like frogs," Price finishes his beer and tosses the bottle in the trash, "Just gotta keep 'er from beating up Bug."

Notes: This fic is in the growing pain collaboration with the awesome @napofamoon. Haven’t written this much in a long time and this really inspired me so thank you.
Warnings: shy!reader, rockstar!gyu, musician!reader, vocalist!reader, unprotected sex(don’t.), public sex, implied squirting, dom!gyu, light choking, mention of trauma.
Summary: When Beomgyu and his band meet yn at auditions in his hometown for an opener he finds he’s attracted to more than just her voice and insane guitar skills. Beomgyu makes it his mission to get her alone while on tour and really give her something to sing about. He fears she’s already his new favorite.
Sometimes you think you do a little too much trying to justify your hopes and dreams. Maybe it’s the trauma, the copious amounts of coffee or the fact that you have not shut the fuck up since you discovered your ability to talk and sing. You pant as you wipe down the tables of the diner in preparation to close shop as your coworker, Mark, laughs at the way you hastily switch from table to table.
You had an audition to get to early in the morning and after classes you only had a thirty minute gap to rehearse your song before you had to clock in for the lunch rush.
“Excited for auditions tomorrow?” You crack a smile at him and give a shrug.
“I hope it goes well. Apparently the lead singer, Beomgyu, is super picky so there’s a chance I won’t make it past the first note.” Your stomach plummets at the thought but you chuckle to alleviate your apprehension. Mark rolls his eyes as he pulls out a chair to sit on to give you his undivided attention.
“You release good music and people listen. You’re gonna kick ass yn.” He encourages sincerely.
You smile at the boy shyly and nod.
“Thank you. That means a lot.”
“Of course. Don’t forget me when you're famous.” He quips, rising up from the chair before he pushes it back in.
“Forget you? Never that.”
Mark’s stomach drops at your words but he shakes it off, playfully shoving you before urging you to go home. You insist on staying to close with him but he denies you the pleasure when he snatches the rag from your hands.
-
You carefully cross the busy street of the city as you look around constantly, anxious that you might be in the wrong place but your doubts are put to rest when you see the line outside of the exact building you suspected. The people in the line converse while fans are occasionally getting escorted out for showing up in hopes to meet their heart throb of a boy band. You are wide eyed and curious at the things happening in front of you. Reality starts to set in as you realize you can’t mess this up.
Taking deep breaths is the way you choose to ground yourself as the line gets shorter and shorter until it is your turn to walk on the stage where a table is set up with three of the members sitting with varying expressions. You make a note to yourself to not make eye contact or hold it too long but before you can take your own advice your eyes lock with one of them in particular. He’s dark eyed and his hair is cut to a length that frames his face so beautifully. He smirks as his eyes examine you from head to toe.
“Contestant 7Z please set up your equipment and introduce yourself when you are done.”
You are brought back from your trance at the sound of the man who sits next to the one you were shamelessly drooling over before you begin setting up your electric guitar swiftly. You strum a few times to ensure it is in tune. When that is done with , you put your soundboard on the stand before standing up straight in front of the mic with a wide smile decorating your beautiful face.
“Hi, my name is yn. Hope you enjoy my sound.”
Your fingers begin picking at your strings as you nod your head to the sound before moving over to your soundboard and picking the bass option and singing your first note confidently into the mic. Your performance is not yet interrupted so you continue singing verse to verse and chorus to chorus until you get to the last line and stop your soundboard before playing the last chord.
“Thank you.” You say softly before stepping back and letting out a breath you didn’t know you were holding. Disconnecting your equipment from the jack hastily you zip your guitar back into its case.
“Yn please make your way to one of the seats in the auditorium.” Beomgyu speaks loudly. Your eyes meet his again when he smiles promptly and leans in to whisper something in his bandmates ear, all while keeping eye contact with you. Your stomach turns as you walk down the steps and find a seat. Keeping an eye on the fact that no one else has made an appearance on the stage for the past thirty minutes has you gaslighting yourself into believing that you passed the audition. That or the lead singer is fucking with you and not in the way you would prefer. You stare down at your feet and pout at your anxious state before a shadow looms over your figure and you look up to be greeted with Beomgyu. He startled you and there’s no way you were subtle about the fact.
He chuckles, “ I really liked your song. Best one we’ve heard all day.”
“T-thank you.”
I am going to go home and bury myself in the deepest hole ever.
You think to yourself but if anything it draws Beomgyu in. Who would have thought the girl that can shred on the guitar is so modest with the way she carries herself. You know you’re good but you don’t gloat about it. You seem a little shy too but he doesn’t want to assume since he hasn't gotten the chance to know you yet.
“That being said. It’ll be a pleasure to have you on the road with us.” He leans in closer as his voice lowers to a whisper. Your eyes drop to his lips that he bites down on, attempting to hide his smirk. He’s flirting. He has to be. Your thighs squeeze together at how close he is to you. His skin shines in the auditorium light and you’re quickly realizing you would peel back all your morals if he asked you to.
“Is that a yes, darling?”
“Yeah I’d like that.” You nod and answer softly.
“Good.” He leans in more, making your lips slightly graze his and your pussy jumps at the gesture and Beomgyu’s rationale has flown out the window at this point as he presses his lips to yours gently. He’s testing the waters by trying to be gentle although he wants to bend you over the auditorium chair and make a mess of it. Your body responds late as you didn’t expect to have him on you this soon. Your hand has a mind of it’s own when it finds the way to his long tendrils to tug on them slightly, eliciting a groan from him that vibrates through your whole being.
“Hey! Beomgyu stop eating our opener please?” A voice booms. Beomgyu looks back at his bandmate and smiles mischievously.
“Can’t make any promises!” He shouts back with a wink before turning to face you again.
“Come with me will you?” Beomgyu asks, holds out a tempting hand
All while flustered you nod and take his hand before you are dragged to god-knows-where.
-
You swear your skin is hot as asphalt as Beomgyu kisses every inch of exposed skin he can find before his lips meet yours again and your hands are finding their way under his shirt. His skin is as soft as you imagined and the thought makes you moan into his mouth before you can stop it.
“Fuck. I love your pretty noises.” His hands palm at your tits and your body is leaning into his touch and your questioning what has gotten into you to make you act this way.
“I don-I don’t usually do this.” You say between each of his lustful kisses that fall onto your lips.
“Do what, Pretty?” His voice has your panties soaked and you can’t help but let out a giggle.
“We just met and I’m considering letting you- ya know.” You shy away from saying the term and his eyes that burn holes into you. You know after tonight you won’t be able to mix business with pleasure so the pros seem to be outweighing the cons.
“Stop thinking so much. Do what you think is right. We can stop whenever. Do you want me to stop, Darling?” He tilts his head. You shake your head. Not trusting your voice to not waver.
“You're so quiet. Let’s fix that.” He says lowering himself onto the floor of the bathroom stall, letting his head disappear beneath your skirt. Your teeth gnaw at your bottom lip in anticipation and you feel the rough pads of his fingers move your dampened panties to the side.
“You are soaked, pretty.”
You squeeze your eyes shut in embarrassment, maybe if you pray hard enough you’ll disappear into thin air. He blows onto your wet folds before wrapping his lips around your clit without warning causing your breath to hitch before your mouth falls open in pleasure. Your hands bunch up the frills of your skirt to give you a better view of the beautiful man devouring you like you're his last meal that he will ever have. Audible squeals are leaving your mouth as you try to force yourself to be quiet but Beomgyu finds entertainment in the fact that because of him you are struggling to keep your quiet and shy act going much longer.
“Want you so bad.” You moan out.
His eyes meet yours as he his mouth makes out with your clit and your hands frantically search for something to hold on to and before you have time to solve the issue yourself Beomgyu is lacing his fingers through yours as he sucks on your clit in the most perfect way. So perfect that it has your mouth falling open and your eyes rolling to the back of your head.
“Ungh yes right there! Mm-”
Your body is on the edge of finishing when he breaks away from your center and kisses your lips with your essence glistening on his lips and chin. It’s messy and in any other case you’d find it gross but here in this bathroom stall you want him to take his dick out and ravish you mercilessly.
“Taste so fucking good.” He whispers against your lips.
“Please.” You say, looking into his eyes.
“Please, what baby?” He smirks cockily.
“Fuck me, Gyu.”
He’s shocked at your words as you stare at him all docile and doe-eyed while speaking such vulgar words. Your hands trail down to the button of his ripped jeans and undo them slowly before following up with his zipper. You keep eye contact with him as the plush of your pink lips are gnawed on by his teeth. Your movements are slow and cautious as you stare at his face to gauge hiseaction.
You’re taken aback when he smacks your hand away and turns you around so your ass is facing him and your cheek is pressed to the cold wall of the stall.
“If that’s what you want.” He breathes out as he palms at his hard length. Letting his other hand touch your center slowly. You’re soaked and with every touch he’s becoming more and more full of pride that it’s because of him. His tip grazes you, testing the waters as he lets his length rub your clit as you hiss, sensitive from all his ministrations and you release a breath you didn't know you were holding when he enters you. Your whole body shivers in content as he starts thrusting into you at a brutal pace.
“Fuck, you’re so tight. Taking me so good.” His hand finds the back of your neck ,pushing you further into the cool wall, keeping a firm hold on you. You know you’re not gonna last long at this rate. You’re struggling to keep quiet as moans tumble out of your mouth.
“Does it feel good, baby?” He whispers, warm breath hitting your scorching skin.
“Yes-please right there-”
He gives a particularly rough thrust, eliciting a gasp from you as he leans forward to place a gentle kiss on your cheek. The gesture is quite romantic, out of bounds for the image you created for Beomgyu but you’re too far gone to dwell on it.
“Gyu, I’m gonna cum-” You whimper out, feeling tears form in your eyes.
Beomgyu tuts at your words, pulling out of you and flipping you around so you’re facing him now. His lips capture yours in a rough kiss as he lifts you on the ground, guiding your legs to sit around his waist.
“Wanna see that pretty face when you cum.” He says, keeping intense eye contact that you attempt to stray away from but he realizes and he’s having none of it. His hand grabs your face firmly, getting the timing just right as he thrusts into you once again.
“Look at me. Or I’ll stop.” He’s stoic although he’s enjoying this more than you are. You, wet as can be as you hang around his neck like the finest diamond. Finer than any Cuban link that’s ever adorned his neck. You’re a moaning, squelching mess and he knows you're close as you struggle to keep your eyes open.
“T-too much-fuck,Gyu don’t stop.” Your eyes roll back in ecstasy and his thrusts become more brutal as he’s determined to give you what you’ve been waiting for.
“Nuh-uh eyes on me, he adjusts your gaze with his hand again. Your fucked put face bringing him to his end as he puts his fingers in your mouth and fucks you roughly.
“I’m-right there, yeah.” You mumble around his fingers, body shivering.
“There?” He teases, knowing the answer.
“There!” You clench around him so beautifully as he watches moisture fall out of you onto the ground.
“Fuck baby.”
His hand that isn’t occupied toys with your clit as he pulls out of you to let his hand bring you to another dimension and that it does as you scream in pleasure and push his hand away from your center.
“Want me to stop?” He asks, searching your face.
“Yes-no-fuck. S’ just a lot.” You speak clearly when he removes his fingers from between your pretty lips. He smiles, drunk on you and your body. His new favorite. You.

Summary: You sing Lorgar an ancient Terran hymn.
Content Warnings: Nothing I can think of? Show your parents this one if you like.

It wasn't often that he had to sleep, but here he was, hands on the back of his neck. His eyes were half-open, the gold of his irises strikingly bright against his honey-brown skin. You traced the tattoos on his face, your fingers soft against his skin. Your eyes were also half-open, focused on him. And you were idly humming a song, something from Terra that you had on your mind.
"What are you singing?" he asked. His lips were slightly upturned, his eyes lighting up yet his voice groggy.
"Oh," you said, your hand trailing down to his collarbone. "It's... it's just something I learned from Terra. Is it bothering you?"
He let out a chuckle, one that made your hand shift a little, and you felt the tenseness in your shoulders relax. "Actually, I think the opposite," he replied. "You have quite the sonorous voice. I'd like to hear more, if you would give me the honor."
You felt red-hot blood rush to your face. You opened your mouth to say something, but nothing came out. As you closed it, he let out another little laugh. "You don't have to, I just think you sound lovely."
You felt his eyes on you, and you smiled at him. Your hand trailed to his chest, tracing his tattoos there. "Well..." you started. "It was an important song on Ancient Terra... oh, second or third millennium? It's a lot different than what's in vogue today, but I think you might like it."
"What is it called?" he asked, perking up.
"I'm not sure," you replied. "We don't have a title or a name associated with it. It's a wonder that it survived the Long Night, honestly. But I'm glad it did."
"Well, please don't keep me waiting," he said, his face giving way to a gentle smile.
"Okay. Here goes." You inhaled and exhaled, feeling the air go through your lungs. You knew that laying down wasn't an optimal position to sing in, but laying next to your lover was more important. You shifted in your bed. This was a head voice song, for sure, but it never hurt to get better airflow. Finally, you were ready to start.
"With the taste of your lips I'm on a ride..."
You were focused on singing, but Lorgar was focused on you. His eyes were directed towards your lips, moving vigorously with each syllable. He listened like your words were a lifeline; he hung onto every word like it was the last he would ever hear. By the last chorus, he knew the words well enough to sing it with you.
"With the taste of your lips I'm on a ride..." "You're toxic, I'm slipping under"
When the song was done, you let out a nervous laugh. "I hope you liked it," you said, brushing a lock of hair behind your ear.
"If it came from your lips, of course I loved it," he replied, grabbing your waist and pulling you close. He was warm against you, and you could hear the beating of his multiple hearts against your ear. You wanted to say something to him, but you instead melted in his arms. He ran his hands along your back, ruffling the fabric of your nightclothes. You let out a little sound as you adjusted yourself.
"There's nobody I'd rather fall asleep to," he cooed, finally closing his eyes.

In Case You Didn’t Know
ft Jamie Drysdale
Tumblr media
a/n just a quick little blurb bc it’s all i’ve been thinking about lately and i wanted to start writing again
pairing: trevor zegras x reader
warnings: just kissing and pure fluff
summary: in which Trevor won’t let Jamie sing in the house, so y/n comes up with her own plan
~~~~~~~~~~~
“Trevor Zegras!” you yelled at your boyfriend as you shut the door this his place.
Trevor— who previously wore a shit eating grin, halted in his tracks to quickly mentally assess what he could’ve done wrong.
Nothing. He thought of nothing.
“Yes, my love?” Trevor asked warily.
“Jamie finally got the chorus down to the song he’s been working endlessly hard on, and you still won’t let him sing in the house?!”
Trevor’s tension left his body when he realized you weren’t angry angry at him, “He’s not a good singer, Y/N!”
Trevor walked up to you and placed his hands on your hips, pulling you in for a kiss. He thought your glare was precious, but only because it wasn’t from true rage. Now that glare? That glare was terrifying. You placed a hand on his chest to stop him from kissing you, and it was his turn to glare.
“Really?”
“I want to hear it!”
“He can play it all he wants, he’s just not a good singer!” Trevor laughed.
You rolled your eyes and yanked him back in by his shirt to kiss him quick. Trevor stumbled forward when you pulled away fast and left his grasp.
“Jamie!” you screamed for the other member of the house. Jamie came bouncing down the stairs, “Yes, dear?”
You and Trevor rolled your eyes playfully at the pet name. To Trevor, you were “my love.” To Jamie, you were “dear.” It started out as a joke when you and Trevor first got together, and it has evolved so much that you swatted at Trevor the first time he called you dear telling him it’s because “that’s Jamie’s nickname for me!”
“I wanna hear your song!”
Jamie smiled, “Really?!”
“Of course you big dork,” you laughed.
“No singing!” Trevor called out.
“Sit down and hush baby, just trust me on this,” you instructed.
Both Trevor and Jamie gave you inquisitive looks. You just said that Jamie wouldn’t be singing and asked if he was going to play the chorus, or start from the beginning of the song.
Jamie began strumming the opening verse to “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young. You smiled fondly at him, and at Trevor when you realized he was also softly smiling at his best friend finally feeling confident at player, then opened your mouth to sing.
“I can’t count the times, I almost said what’s on my mind, but I didn’t,” you sang quietly, semi adjusting your pitch to the key Jamie was playing in.
Trevor’s jaw dropped slightly and his eyes grew twice their size. Jamie stumbled in his picking to look at you, equally as wide eye.
“You can—“ Jamie stuttered out.
“Keep going!” you brushed off his comment.
Jamie told you he’s going to start over and began playing from the top. You finally found the right key to sing in to match well with Jamie’s playing at the chorus. “In case you didn’t know, baby I’m crazy ‘bout you. And I would be lyin’ if I said that I could live this life without you. Even though, I don’t tell you all the time. You had my heart a long, long time ago. In case you didn’t know.”
Trevor was looking at you so dumbstruck— you couldn’t help but laugh.
“You were great, Jamie!” you said while still laughing at Trevor.
“I was— I was great?! You were great! Did you know you could sing?!”
“I had an inkling of an idea,” you blushed.
“She had a… Trevor! Did you hear her?!”
Trevor used his arms to hold himself up as he inched his way across the couch cushions to get to your place on the ottoman, “That twang…”
“You’ve heard my southern accent come out before!”
“Yeah, but never like that! God you… Wow!”
“Oh yeah?” you smirked, heavily enjoying your boyfriend oogling over you.
“That pretty little mouth of yours does so many amazing things,” Trevor said breathlessly. He cupped your cheeks and slowly brought you into a slow kiss.
“Oh god, yuck!” Jamie groaned. “We were bonding! And then you became a pervert!”
Taking care of their baby alone | Headcanons
gender neutral
-> It had been around 6 months your baby was born, but it was the first time he had to take care of them alone, you being ready to return to your hero duties.
-> (S/N) is son’s name, (D/N) is daughter’s name. Obviously the students are now adults and pros.
-> Dabi, Eijiro Kirishima, Fumikage Tokoyami.
Touya Todoroki | Dabi
Tumblr media
Sure, he had been rehabilitated and was now watched by his father as a way to show society that no, he wasn’t a villain anymore. And sure, he had had a kid with you, Endeavor’s favorite trainee. But he just… couldn’t take care of a baby alone after all these years !
(S/N) had been a surprise for the both of you. And at first, Dabi wanted to get rid of it. But he realized… he could give this kid what he would have wanted. He could break the cycle. So he decided, after all, he needed another proof of his rehabilitation and he had secretly been wishing for a loving family.
But (S/N) was crying right now. He had been okay playing with his little cubes for a while, and liking whatever Dabi was watching on TV. But right now, it wasn’t time to eat but the baby was crying. « I… I don’t know what you want, I’m sorry ! » the man said, picking him up.
After some minutes, Dabi’s pleas turned more into threats. « Listen little shit, I have to prove to your mom/dad that I’m responsible enough to take care of you and I wanna be a good dad, but you’re not helping ! » Unsurprisingly, it didn’t help.
That’s when the man remembered this movie Toga and Twice would cry watching it, the father would sing a lullaby to his kid. It was the only thing that Dabi actually remembered from the movie, cause he had secretly been listening to the song a few times after, wishing his father would have been this loving.
He decided to give it a go. « The monster’s gone, he’s on the run. And your daddy’s here. » he started singing in a faint and low voice, while bouncing (S/N) slowly. The little copy of him started calming a bit. « Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful… » he continued, kissing his forehead. « Beautiful boy. »
After repeating the same chorus over and over for quite some time, the toddler fell asleep. Dabi looked at him, smiling to himself. He was a rather good dad ! He could take care of his baby ! His baby that looked just like him before his own dad abandoned him ! He put him to his crib, finishing his show while waiting for you to come back.
Eijiro Kirishima
Tumblr media
Kirishima was always sad when he had to do some hero work, leaving his little (S/N) behind, even with you. But this time, it had been decided that you would be the one going to work and him taking care of the baby. And he was so excited about it.
« Hey, I always take care of you with mommy/daddy. Me alone won’t change much, right ? » The baby stared at him, his eyes wide opened… and immediately started crying. The man picked him up, already harassing him with kisses and hugs.
« I know, it’s the first time they’re going away without youuuuu ! I miss them too every time they’re not here. » he said, hushing the baby. But it didn’t last long. He tried everything ; giving him food, checking his diaper, putting him in his crib… but nothing worked.
« … We’re so alike. (Y/N) always says we’re so alike physically and mentally and I would laugh it off but they’re right. I feel like that too, when they’re not here with me. » he said, dramatically. « But it’s not manly to make them feel bad about it, right ? »
And then he realized ; he had caught you singing rather quietly to (S/N), to make him fall asleep. He knew you thought he didn’t know, but he would just never admit he had heard you. Maybe a little lullaby would help ? So he picked his son up, hugging him close and tight.
« My baby, my baby… » he started, trying to sound as good as possible -he was a horrible singer. And even though he thought that his horrible singing would just make his baby yell louder, it actually seemed to catch his attention immediately.
« You’re my baby, say it to me. » the rest of the song wasn’t that cute, but Kirishima guessed it was the calming melody that his son liked. You never really sung the whole song anyways, your son falling asleep quite fast after the first notes -which happened with him too. He smiled, putting him in his crib, spamming his friends with pictures of him after that.
Fumikage Tokoyami
Tumblr media
Tokoyami was really insecure about taking care of your daughter alone. Sure, he had been a good dad with you around as well, but all alone ?! « You’re never really alone anyways, Dark Shadow’s here, right ? » you had told him, which only made him reply : « You trust Dark Shadow with a baby ?! »
But here he was, reading a book next to his toddler who was asleep. He would caress her hair from time to time when she seemed to hum or move in her sleep -like you would often do- but nothing really out of the extraordinary was happening. That made him confident.
Talked too fast, right ? Yeah. (D/N) woke up, silently looking at her dad. He smiled at her, patting her head, waiting for her to do something that would scare him. He didn’t have to wait for long, since as soon as she realized you weren’t there, she started whining.
Tokoyami immediately picked her up, hugging her. « I knoooow, I miss mom/dad too. Come here. » he said, humming a bit to her in hope it would calm her down. While changing how he carried her as the position felt uncomfortable after quite some time, he briefly made her touch his beak.
That’s when he realized, she had stopped crying. « Oh ? Is it my beak ? You liked it ? » he said, holding her in front of his face. (D/N) stared at him for quite some time before being attracted by his beak. Slowly, she touched it and smiled. Hearing her father chuckle, she actually started laughing as well.
« Yeah ! You like dad’s beak ! » he said, Dark Shadow peaking out in the process. « Hey ! (D/N) baby ! I wanted to see how you were doing with her… and I… also… missed her…. » he confessed. Tokoyami only nodded, trying to find what to do with a baby this young.
And that’s how you came back home to two sleeping figures, on top of each other. Tokoyami was holding a random baby book and you wondered if (D/N) had really been interested in her dad’s reading. Still, they had seem to have had a good day, so you were relieved that your husband had gone past his fear.
Ok I already wrote this out in my notes but I thought I’d post a compilation of some of my thoughts/things I noticed about Hadestown when I saw it in London.
Firstly I mentioned in this post a thought I had during Doubt Comes In about Orpheus being injured after Papers and that making it harder to walk out of Hadestown
Secondly GENDER NEUTRAL HERMES IS ELITE. I loved that they were actually referred to with they/them pronouns a couple of times. Also Orpheus saying “excuse me Hermes” instead of “Mister Hermes” like. This boy is so polite.
Dónal Finn was absolutely devastating during Is It True. Like the way he just SOBBED “is this how the world is?” gave me intense chills
Multiple times during When The Chips are down Eurydice seems to be pleading with Hermes to tell her what to do, but Hermes just doesn’t respond. It really showcased how they can only tell the story, they can’t influence it
Also during Why We Build The Wall Hermes is the only character who isn’t singing—they’re just standing there the whole time stony-faced and silent despite at points Hades singing directly at them like he’s trying to get a rise out of them. Like it portrays so well how Hermes is outside of the story and also how they’re mourning it and have been since they started telling it.
Just in general Melanie la Barrie did such a good job portraying the tragedy of Hermes and being the powerless narrator
Zachary James was made for the role of Hades. His voice was incredible and his physical acting was so enjoyable to watch.
Also His Kiss, The Riot was incredible. Probably on par with Stewart Clarke’s Javert’s Suicide
After Why We Build The Wall Hades walked over to Persephone and touched her arm and she flinched and shoved him off and it was a really powerful moment because for the whole song Persephone is like a wall herself and in that moment you see the cracks in her composure
During Epic III after Hades hears The Melody he rushes over to try and subdue the workers and is physically taken aback when he realised he doesn’t have power over them anymore
Also at the end of Epic III when Hades finally sang The Melody Persephone burst into tears and Oh My God
Hades and Persephone’s dance was so dorky and sweet in They Danced and honestly Zachary James’s Hades was just so dorky in his more human moments. Peak endearingly awkward old people.
During Orpheus’s parts of Doubt Comes In the stage is completely dark with only him lit so that we can’t see Eurydice either and even we’re not actually sure if she’s there
I love all the ways in which they make the audience complicit in the story. Like obviously there’s the “we’re gonna sing it again” motif and like, by nature of us being there we’re part of the reason the story’s getting told again
But also in Epic III the audience laughs when Hades says “oh, it’s about me” and that’s what makes Orpheus lose his nerve and have to be encouraged by Hermes
Also when Hermes tells Orpheus and Eurydice “you’re gonna have to prove it before gods and men” they gesture to Hades, Persephone and the Fates as the Gods and then to the audience as the men. Like it just cements how we have a role to play as Orpheus’s audience, the thing that gives him his power
Which also makes me think (even though it probably wouldn’t work) how cool it would be if in Our Lady of the Underground the audience was expected to join in on the chorus lines (when Persephone sings “brother what’s my name?”)
