Hi! I did a poll to decide who to write for, and Konrad won fair and square! I'll write Mothman someday I promise Here's your food.

Summary: Horus and Fulgrim come into contact with Konrad's new partner.

Content Warnings: Fulgrim existing except Horus is more annoying because I like to write him as kind of a dick, uncomfortable social situation, Konrad is also a bit of a silly billy because I am unwell

You'd been wandering the Imperial Palace for hours now. You'd tried to backtrack a few times, but it had never worked. This wing was a lot more refined than what you were used to, with gold tastefully added in where it accentuated a particular piece. You reached out your hand to touch one of the ornate picture frames, you couldn't help yourself. The metal was smooth underneath your fingers, cold to the touch.

You heard their footsteps before you heard anything else, a pair of them. They were far too heavy to be that of baseline humans, or even space marines. You ran towards the noise, ignoring their idle chatter. If Konrad wasn't in the mix, they could at least give you directions back to his wing of the palace.

"Hello?" you asked, dashing around the corner.

You recognized the violet armor of the one on your left first. Fulgrim. You took a step back without thinking about it. You knew he was closer with Konrad than many of the others, but there was something about his presence that was unnerving. Almost as if he was too perfect. To the right was none other than Horus Lupercal, arguably the most important of his brothers with his fancy Warmaster title. He sported clean teal armor and stood slightly taller than his brother.

Fulgrim spoke up first. "Ah... you're my brother's partner," he remarked. He stepped up slightly closer to you, and you backed away.

"It's strange," said Horus. "I never expected him to be the first of us to get a partner, but here we are. How is he treating you?" He stepped up to come side-to-side with his brother again.

"Oh," you said, shuffling your feet. "I mean, I think it's pretty nice?" you asked. "He's--"

Horus cut you off with a chuckle. "Imagine that," he said, turning to his brother. "What do you think, Fulgrim?"

"I think..." he said, putting a finger to his lips and looking down. "I think that we should let the little one get a word in, don't you think?"

Little one? "Sure thing," said Horus. He looked down at you expectantly.

"I..." you started. Sure, they were around twice your size, but did that give them the right to... it was too much effort to contest it. It was probably best to just head back on your own. "I guess he sometimes just pops up out of nowhere, uh... I just wanted to know how to get back to his wing, honestly." You turned around to retrace your steps yet again.

Horus stepped in front of you. You looked behind you, and Fulgrim had that pleasant smile on his face that almost never left.

"We haven't seen you in person yet," remarked Horus. "Why don't you stay and talk for a little? I'm quite curious to know how our brother is as a partner," he said.

"Uhm..." you started, looking to the side. I can tell, you thought to yourself, though you wouldn't dare vocalize it. "I... he..." you started, sinking back into yourself. You felt your face go warm, and you fiddled with your hands. Horus looked down at you expectantly, a dickish smirk on his face.

You heard your name from a familiar voice. You snapped your head around to see none other than Konrad, hastily adjusting his armor. "You got lost," he said. You nodded, closing your eyes. "I see you've met my brothers?"

"Your partner is a delight to talk to," said Horus. "They should stay on Terra a while, I'd like to get to know them."

"I think they'd like to go," he said curtly. Horus stepped out of the way, and Konrad grabbed your wrist. You felt Fulgrim's stare at the back of your head, slightly bemused. "Isn't that right?"

"Very well," said Horus. "Talk to you later, I should hope?"

Several weeks ago, my retirement-age mother requested that I play Baldur’s Gate 3 for her because she has trouble with controllers/keyboards and wanted “to see what all the fuss is about with that cute wizard boy.” For context, my mother and I have done this sort of thing in the past with certain RPGs (dragon age, mass effect, etc.), but it’s been a few years since she’s personally requested a game like this. Basically, I control her Tav but let her make all the choices so she can determine how the story plays out without worrying about mechanics. She treats it like a choose-your-own-adventure book.

Anyway, here is a list of some of the things my mother has said and/or chosen to do throughout the course of BG3 in no particular order:

She is (obviously) romancing Gale. She is quite smitten with him and his passion for books and learning; she also thinks he’s polite and qualifies as “relationship material.” She also REALLY likes the things he’s said about his cat so far (my mom is a cat lady), so I know she’s gonna flip shit when we meet Tara in Act III.

She’s playing a normal druid Tav with a generally good alignment. Her favorite spell is Spike Growth because she thinks it’s hilarious whenever enemies walk into the AOE and die. I usually end up having to cast it at least once per battle per her request. Sometimes twice.

Contrary to her alignment, my mother tasks me with robbing every single chest, crate, barrel, and burlap sack we come across; this also includes people and their pockets. The party is always at max carrying capacity. ALWAYS. She doesn’t like selling things because “what if I need them.” The camp stash is in literal shambles. There is no hope of organizing it. She’s got like fifty seven sets of rags and a billion pieces of random silverware.

She MUST talk to every animal and corpse in the game. I think five hours of her total playtime so far (47ish) has been spent speaking to animals as many times as humanly possible. Like, I was thorough in my own playthroughs, but this is on a whole other level.

She did NOT get Volo’s lobotomy, but she did let Auntie Ethel take her eye in hopes of a cure for the tadpole. I did not understand the logic then. I still do not understand it now.

She is far more interested in fashion than equipment stats. Do you have any idea how much gold I’ve had to spend on dyes just to make things match? SO much. Same vibe as that “please someone help me balance my finances my family is starving” tweet but instead of candles it’s thirty thousand fucking bottles of black and furnace red dye.

We broke the prisoners out of Moonrise, but they got on the boat too early and bugged the fight by leaving Astarion and Karlach behind. Wulbren Bongle somehow got stuck in combat mode even after engaging the cutscene on the docks below Last Light; he he kept trying to run ALL THE WAY BACK TO MOONRISE nine fucking meters at a time while I frantically tried to finish the fight with the Warden, otherwise Wulbren would have run straight into the shadow curse. (I would’ve let him go; fuck Wulbren Bongle, all my homies hate Wulbren Bongle. But my mom didn’t know that, and she wanted to keep him safe. So.)

She had me reload a save like eighteen times to save the giant eagles on top of Rosymorn Monastery. Wouldn’t even let me do non-lethal damage just to get past things. I think getting that warhammer for the dawnmaster puzzle took us like an hour and a half alone. (Yes, I know you can use any warhammer, but SHE didn’t.)

She’s started keeping an irl notebook to keep track of her quests between play sessions. She writes down ideas and strategies when she thinks of them during the week, then brings them to her next game session at my house. I think she wrote about three pages on possible approaches to the goblin fortress alone.

She insists that I pet Scratch and the owlbear cub before every single long rest, no exceptions. Sometimes I have to do it multiple times until she is absolutely sure that the animals know exactly how much she loves and cherishes them. She has also commissioned a crocheted owlbear plush from a friend of hers and is very excited.

I’m sure there’s a bunch of stuff I’m forgetting, but those are some fun things I thought of. She’s enjoying the game and is telling all of her retired friends to get it and play it for themselves. She asked me “what is Discord” yesterday and I think my life flashed before my eyes.

au that came from a fever dream

This AU was basically a dream I had where video game worlds learned of players.

There were varying reactions to this revelation, but then the worlds looked passed the players and imminently found each other. So the players where now needed because plot amour was the only thing holding this multiverse together.

The extradimensional entities and Eldritch horrors did not make this easier btw.

The Hiss from Control attacked the SCP foundation and the Lobotomy Corporation.

The Heartless from Kingdom Hearts attack and infest dystopias like Beholder, Mirrors edge and Fallout.

The Brother Moons from Dead space are at war with the Flood from Halo, with other zombie games getting caught in the crossfire.

All of the hell's, the Dark Dimension from Dark Deception, etc, are also fighting. (the Dark Dimension didn't change much lol)

Same with all the world conquering aliens. (Destroy all humans, Earth Defence Force, Half life, etc)

The Lamb from Cult of the Lamb has discovered that the Red crown can now travel to other worlds and is recruiting left and right.

Warhammer 40k is also there. if you know what it is then I don't need to explain why that's bad.

Most kid-friendly games are in quarantine and are a base of operations for those who managed to get out. (those who were possessed by or close to someone possessed by a player.)

So the multiverse/s is/are currently is shambles, and refugees have filled up the universes that still have some version of sanity.

Luckily, there is one guy who knows what needs to be done to fix the worlds. The G-Man.

Using the remainders of the protagonists, final bosses and other badasses to from the Multiverse to form the Multiverse Defence Force.

(He's been hired to help fix the multiverse, not name things.)

And reinforce them with Players so they can't die.

Unfortunately, that's when I woke up. I think I got paired with Pyro from TF2 but that's all I remember. I may still develop this au tho, I just need to think of what to call it.

Maybe you celebrate Easter. Maybe you celebrate Trans Day of Visibility. Maybe you celebrate both, or neither. I am here to make those holidays infinitely worse or better, depending on how you look at this post. LORGAR AURELIAN- 11 inches, 28 cm. You weren't expecting the second shortest Primarch to pack so much, were you? Golden tattoos come close to it, but he hadn't the will to cover himself there. You'll spend a lot of time with him; he'll use his tongue for hours on end before finally gratifying himself.

VULKAN- 10 inches, 26 cm. He's warm all over, and below the belt is no exception. In the cold reaches of space, he's a great comfort. Even if he's not the biggest of the Primarchs, he likes watching you struggle on him. He's girthy, and he likes to choke you with it too. Gives the best aftercare.

CORVUS CORAX- 11 inches, 27 cm. He's long, slender, and he keeps a close shave. He's a gentle lover when you're properly going at it and not hiding your risque behavior while in public. He'll hold your hands and whisper praises into your ear, even if he has to bend himself at an uncomfortable angle.

The office was large and suffocating. Of course it was, it was built for a man maybe twice your size. You'd forgone the crowded halls of his wing of the Imperial Palace and shut the door. You'd quickly noticed that you were at eye level with the desk at which your husband worked. He was out of his normal golden armor, this time sporting a simple shirt and leather trousers. He turned his head at the sudden noise, first looking at the door before looking down at you.

"Why do you call me in?" you asked, slowly pacing towards him.

He slid his papers to the side, crinkling them before turning to you. He slipped his hands under your arms and picked you up, setting you on his desk. He ran his hands along your sides, pushing your shirt up. He was silent for a few moments before he spoke.

"You're fertile," he said. His voice was deep and reverent as he moved a hand up to your face. "I can smell it on you."

You felt your heart speed up in your chest. "Oh?" you asked, putting a hand over his. His hand engulfed you, and yours was laughably small against his.

"My lady," he said. "If I could have you here, would you be willing?"

You looked up at him. Even when he was sitting in front of you, you had to turn your neck to look up at him. His expression was ever stoic, but there was a softness in his eyes that you didn't see often. With his hand in place, he ran a thumb down your cheek.

"Please," you replied softly.

He leaned in, hands placed close to your legs. You wrapped your legs around him as he went in for the kiss. He was rough with you, his tongue soon parting your lips. You let out a whimper, grabbing at his shirt to pull him closer. His hands trailed up your sides, pulling at your shirt. He pulled away, looking down at you.

"Your shirt, my lady."

You lifted your arms as he pulled it off of you. It fell to the floor, out of sight and out of mind. He fiddled with the clasp of your bra before unclasping it, pulling it off of you with ease. One hand slid along your body, and the other caged you underneath him. You shuddered as your face went warm, placing your hands on his chest before he began to gnaw at your collarbone and you relented. Your hands ran through his cropped hair as he pressed kisses against you, leaving marks with some of them.

"Nngh... Rogal..." you moaned.

"Quiet," he commanded. "There are people outside."

You yelped as he bit your nipple, thankfully not hard enough to puncture you there. He stayed there for a while before he moved to the other one, giving it the same treatment. Despite the fact that you were wearing pants, you felt a finger press between your legs. You let out another moan, high pitched and feeble, before he released you and tugged at your pants. Before you knew it, they were off, along with your underwear, and his head was between your legs.

"Lay down, my lady," he cooed.

You looked behind you. There were papers and inkwells there. "But your papers..." you said quietly.

He slid his office supplies to the side, and you slowly laid back on the desk. It was hard against you, but the feeling of your husband between your legs more than made up for it. His tongue soon grazed your entrance, and you let out another moan.

He pulled back for a brief moment. "Remember. There are people outside."

He pushed himself in deeper, holding you down at each side. You writhed in his grip, holding onto his forearms like a lifeline. He pushed himself in until you came on him for the first time, his name on your lips as you threw your head back in pleasure.

He pulled back after a while, looming over you. You were out of breath as you looked up at him. His hands left your sides to push his pants down slightly to reveal himself to you. He was thick and throbbing, and let you look for a few moments before pressing himself against your entrance.

"Please," you cooed as he rubbed himself on you. You grabbed his shirt and looked up at him.

"Come sit on me," he said, taking you off of the table and placing you on his lap. He lowered you down on him, prompting yelps and squeals from you. You were stretching out on him, a bulge forming in your stomach. You buried your head in his chest as you sunk down on him, muffling your moans. With one hand he brought you down, with the other he ran his hand through your hair.

"You're taking me so well, my lady," he grunted as he slid all the way in. He kept you there on him for a few moments, running his hand up and down your back before sliding his hands to your hips to lift you up. You could only choke out muffled moans in response.

A rare smirk dusted his face. "You look gorgeous like this," he said, pulling you down again. He went in a little easier this time, and you stretched out a little less. Your face scrunched up against him and you clutched his shirt even tighter.

"Rogal..." you managed to choke out, stars in your eyes.

"What is it?" he asked, pushing himself in and out. You looked up at him and opened your mouth to speak, but you were only able to manage a loud moan. He let out a chuckle as he drilled you even faster. You looked up at him as he planted a kiss to the top of your head.

He had a Primarch's endurance, and while you knew he was enjoying himself, you got the idea that all he wanted was to pump himself into you one last time, filling you up. You lost track of time as he worked you on that chair, until he started to speed up. By this time you were practically a drunken mess on him, eyes drooping in euphoria.

"How much do you want this?" he asked, finally starting to show signs of tiring.

You couldn't formulate a coherent sentence, instead letting out more pitiful moans. Your hands and head were pressed against him, anchoring you.

He smirked as he released himself inside of you. You squealed as he throbbed inside of you, releasing more with every pulse. He held you down on him, staring intently down at you as your eyes scrunched shut. While liquid dripped down your legs, he held you close to him, once again running a hand up and down your back.

"I could not have asked for a better mother to my children," he said as you leaned into him.

Whatever it was in your head was starting to fade. Still, you tossed over and fumbled for him as your eyes fluttered open. You couldn't see anything, but you knew he was right next to you. Before a moment had passed, you'd grasped a segment of his loose fitting shirt. You weren't much next to him, but this sudden movement was enough to rouse him. A gruff "hmm?" escaped him as he turned his head down towards you.

"Ferrus--"

"You're shivering," he said, the metallic arm around you tightening.

Your grip loosened, and you realized that he was right. You were shivering. Before you could say anything, his lips grazed the top of your head. He was large, more than twice your size. You knew that he could break you in half if he so wanted, but you'd not gotten the impression that he'd wanted to.

"I am," you replied.

He ran a hand down your back. His hands were cold against your clothes, against you. You felt chills go down your spine. His hand engulfed you-- it took up maybe half of your back. The folds of your nightdress gathered at the small of your back under his hand. You looked up at him. From what little light entered the room, you could barely make out a clouded expression on his face.

"Is anything wrong?" you asked, snaking your way up the bed to press a kiss to his lips. They were much bigger than yours, but you were able to make it work.

Ferrus sighed. "Just..." he started. "I can't feel you with my hands. That's all," he said.

You frowned. "Oh..." you said. You ran a hand along his chest. "Surely..." you said, feeling a lump forming in your throat. "Surely you can't feel me with anything else?"

Both of you froze for a moment before Ferrus sat up in bed. He released you, and you fell to the bed with a thud. "Disrobe," he barked as he undid the buttons on his own shirt. You fiddled with your nightdress before it came off and you cast it aside, somewhere near you on the massive bed.

He grabbed your wrists, and laid you down underneath him. For a moment he remained there, eyes roving your body, before he leaned in for a kiss. He was far too large to kiss with tongue, but you felt butterflies regardless. His hands trailed down your body, stopping briefly to play with your nipples. You were thankful that you were in his chambers, far from prying ears, squeaking and moaning his name.

When his hands were at your thighs, he pried your legs open with no effort. You looked down at him as he lowered his head, his tongue licking your inner thighs.

"F... Ferrus..." you moaned, your legs pinned to your side by metallic hands.

"Let me feel you," he said, before his tongue trailed between your legs. You cried out as he found your apex, swirling it in his mouth before he entered you. You grabbed for his chopped hair, sinking your fingers into it. He chuckled. It didn't take long for you to climax the first time, crying out and trembling underneath him.

Right when you were working up to the next climax, he removed his mouth. "On your front," he said.

You flipped over, and almost instantly felt something poke at your entrance. You let out a pathetic whimper as you arched your back and looked over your shoulder at him. He was built like a truck; not only 13 feet tall, but wide. His steel gray eyes caught yours, and a smirk graced his face.

You felt yourself quivering under him. He pressed against your entrance; you wanted it, he wanted it.

"Ferrus... please," you choked out. "I need it. I need you in me. I need you to rearrange me. I..." you trailed off, your voice wavering. "I don't want to be able to walk tomorrow."

With that, you felt him enter you. You cried out, grasping at the bedsheets as he slid inside. You felt him in your belly, making a little bulge in your stomach. He held you down with one hand and grasped your throat with the other, lightly playing with your airways. You clenched over him, beginning to see stars. He could easily choke you to death, he had to be very careful with you. The one person he's loved, and they're delicate like every other baseline human.

He started to pull out, and he relented his hold on you, letting you catch your breath. "Ferrus..." you breathed, your head pressing against the bed.

"What is it?" he asked, as he entered you, faster this time.

You couldn't even grace him with a coherent response, instead moaning fragments of words and phrases. He pressed inside of you further, and you could feel him in your ribcage. He was gentle... until he wasn't, and you knew you were going to bruise in the morning.

He held you down with one hand as you climaxed again, with him following not long after. You felt him throb inside of you, bruising you, marking you as his own. He shot inside you for a long while before he finally pulled out, a sticky liquid trickling down your legs. You were still swelling a little bit from how much he'd shot inside of you as he turned you over, picking you up and placing you on his lap.

"You're gorgeous," he said, holding you close to him. He ran a hand up and down your back again, and you melted into his touch. You knew that you were going to be bedridden for the greater part of tomorrow, but you wouldn't have it any other way.

"You again?" he rumbled as you entered the room, rolling in a cart of basic hygiene supplies. You slightly turned the lights up and shut the door. No matter how gently you tried to close it, it would always make a loud snap. Not many got to enter the quarters of the Night Haunter, but here you were. His quarters were in disarray, and you had to step around pieces of discarded armor that were built for someone maybe twice your size. Even if the lights were turned up all the way, it would have been a nightmare to navigate.

"How did you know it was me?" you asked before the idea of ignoring him crossed your mind.

"Revealed to me in a dream," he sighed, rolling over in bed to face away from you. He grabbed a pillow and brought it to his chest. His scarred back was exposed, somehow paler than it had been depicted. His hair was thick and unwashed, but that's where you come in. You pulled out a bottle of dry shampoo and sighed.

"Don't make this harder than it has to be," you said, approaching him. You squirted a little bit onto your hand, and he curled up in his bed as you hopped up to get close to him. Whatever he had, you were told that it wasn't contagious anymore.

"Fine," he relented. "Do what you must."

You ran a hand through his hair, lathering in the dry shampoo. You could swear that there were other serfs called in to take care of him in this state, but he didn't look taken care of. You had the self-preservation to not ask, at least. You massaged his scalp gently, but hard enough to clean him up a little bit. And you could swear that you felt him lean into it a little bit.

"Feeling better, my liege?" you asked.

He grunted into the pillow he held. Your hand retreated as you put your materials back. You hesitated before you curiously reached out to one of the jagged scars on his back. You barely got to trace it before he turned over, released the pillow, and grabbed your wrist. So much for self-preservation.

"Lord--" you sputtered out, your heart skipping a beat in your chest.

"Don't go," he said, his fingers threatening to tear into your wrist. His eyes were more sunken than they normally were, and his grip never got any looser.

You looked away from him, feeling your cheeks go warm. "But what will my boss think if I don't come back?" you asked as he pulled you in closer.

"I will let them know you were attending to some... business," he said. Before you knew it, you relented, laying down in the massive bed with him. He drew the covers over you and put a hand to your cheek, absolutely engulfing it. You felt your heart drum in your chest again. He could so easily turn on you--on anyone around him. But here he was, almost in need of a companion.

"Why me?" you squeaked after a few moments.

"Do you think any of the other serfs were so gentle? Do you think any of them treated me like a... person, instead of a...?" he trailed off, a clouded expression crossing his face. You wanted to ask what he was talking about, but being this close to him, this was probably a bad idea.

"I don't know," you finally relented. You felt him pull you close to him, and you closed your eyes. It felt... nice. Much nicer than you'd felt in a while. He was cold, but you hadn't felt someone rise and fall against you in so long. Any reservations you may have had were long gone now, melting along with you. He put one hand at the back of your head and the other at your waist, pulling you in further. He breathed a sigh of contentment.

You knew that even though the higher-ups said it wasn't contagious, it was a Primarch that had fallen ill. This couldn't be a normal disease. You knew that what you were doing wasn't safe, but how could you say no?
