Saw this come in ystrdy but was only about 10 mins in and wanted to give you a good answer so I've let it marinate and watched so that I am now also about 1 hour into the video

Hmmmmmmm very very interesting Sidemen Sunday, this one... I'll list down a bunch of rando thoughts n u evaluate them with me and give your own opinions also

For reference, this is the Sidemen Sunday of the week:

SO! Thoughts:

Simon always hits so well whenever he's host - moresidemen, main channel sidemen, he's honestly really good at filling in all those little gaps in conversation and he's quite quick-witted with his jokes, and I think that might be to do with the fact that he loves Stephen Tries and Beta Squad, British-type humour and he's done really well with emulating that type of humour in a way that fits his vibe

Ah, I love seeing Deji in Sidemen videos! He's such a sweetie, looks and acts like a big teddy bear which I love for him. I feel like he's such boyfriend material, like, he's so cutesy and honestly kinda fine, like, why does nobody else SEE THIS SHIT!!! Would be the best hugger, so funny + positive, absolute listener, so real with you... Ugh, need his energy in my life

ANOTHER VIK + HARRY TEAM DUO! These two together give me LIFE! I feel like Harry just loves tryna bond with Vik because whilst Vik is so so so intellectually smart, Harry is so practically smart and that bright sort of person that balances out Vik so well. Like, Vik studies theory and Harry knows how to do it practically, is their duo's vibes.

Also about Harry + Vik - I am (haven't watched the full vid but currently they're dead last) ROOTING for this team to win. They have chemistry, they have effort, I know damn well Harry's a good cook... Idk, this team j gets me smiling most, I wanna see them succeed

Ethan and Tobi duo is more interesting. Generally I think these team/duo works really well together because Ethan's hilarious and Tobi laughs a lot + they j vibe like that and it's fun to see! This vid though, Ethan's more stresso about the cooking aspect bc obvi he wants to win and he's come across (so far) as a little whiney and complaining... Tbh, Ethan's whining does get on my nerves a touch, but in the end I end up sympathising + feeling worse for Ethan bc i know SDMN fans CANNOT empathise w Ethan's stress or shouting or however he reacts and then they bully him? Like, Sidemen fans see one thing they don't like and they just will not shut up about it. We saw this about the colleague's thing, how ppl started hating on Ethan- calling him insensitive and ungrateful for calling the boys "colleagues", as if the fans weren't practically agreeing with him prior when they made their comments of "Sidemen feels overproduced, we prefer the old videos where it's just banter between the boys", like, Hello??????? Dunno if this point made sense but summary: Ethan's complaining mildly pisses me off but I actually feel bad for him instead of annoyed, because I know fans will have a go at him for complaining + take things wayyyyy too serious.

And oh deary dear, JJ and Deji?? I love love love these boys on their own but in a weird way why are they so jarring on a team together? I feel like Ethan and Deji would've worked rly well, maybe Tobi and JJ on a team instead? JJ always acts so unhappy to be with his brother and it kinda reminded me of 2017-2020 beef between Dej and JJ. Like, JJ was just being mean and telling Deji to fuck off, that he's useless... But they're both at the same competency level?? Like, sure, Deji isn't really competence, but JJ is no better (even though apparently his omlettes are delicious). I feel as though JJ always takes place as Sidemen's greatest wally/idiot asw, and having Deji there means that JJ cannot be the biggest oblivious-one there, but he doesn't know how to fit in other than that... And so he takes on the character or the persona of a bully/just being mean to Deji, but (at least in my opinion) it feels really jarring and sort of uncomfortable to watch. I don't think this is a very popular opinion that I have either- maybe I'm just deeping it, or maybe I'm just projecting my own experience onto others.

Slightly more lighthearted note asw, I thought Kimberly (Special masterchef guest!) looked a lot like Faith which was quite funny lol. Like the American version of Faith :D

yansim honorific headcanons

i’ve always found it super interesting on how the game setting is very obviously set in japan, but the topic of honorifics besides the obvious “senpai” and occasional “-chan” never really come up. honorifics are a very big part of japanese culture, and can also provide subtle and nuanced insights to a character’s mannerisms and relationships.

and of course, these are my own personal hcs!! these are like super, super rambly, haha, but feel free to share and discuss your own :> small disclaimer, i’m definitely not an expert when it comes to honorifics or japanese culture, and this post could of course, contain some inaccuracies.

without further ado, let’s get started!

this post will be focusing on the 202X main characters (ayano, taro, and info-chan), as well as the ten 202X rivals. “FN” stands for first name, and “LN” stands for last name

Ayano Aishi - Uses polite, non-personal honorifics. As a child, I think she would address everyone by their (first/last) name without honorifics, because that’s how they introduced themselves, but eventually began using LN-san or LN-senpai in attempts to blend in more.

She addresses Taro as Yamada-senpai, but refers to him as just Senpai in her head. I think she would also be easily flustered at the thought of addressing him by just first name, (like, can you imagine the cuteness of this when she confesses in the golden ending??) And if they ever get to that point, I think Taro would ask her to use his first name. I’d imagine she would stutter a lot with it (and then attempt to revert to Yamada-kun/chan) before she can get truly used to it. Idk if she’ll give him the -kun honorific or just refer to him by first name, but that’s mostly bc I haven’t thought that much about Ayano’s post-Taro personality LOL.

Besides Taro, if someone else requests to be addressed by first name or with another honorific, she will hesitate a moment before switching; she’s not used to it, but there’s not much of a reason to not follow up after all.

Taro (and Taeko!) Yamada - As the average person he is, he uses average honorifics, just like Ayano. When he first becomes friends with someone, he’ll switch to their first name and use -chan/kun/san depending on who they are and how acquainted he is with them, but eventually he’ll drop the honorific entirely after becoming very close with them, such as Osana.

When Ayano confesses in the golden route, I think it’d be really cute if he insists on calling her Aya-chan (which would fluster her so badly bc she’s been used to yan-chan her whole life!! AND, the fact that aya can also mean color, like the fact that he’s the one that brung “color” into her life, IT JUST FITS TOO WELL) and then one day he will call her just Ayano in a moment so special to the both of them, it will shock her to the core!!!! (bc at that point, dropping honorifics would feel like the ultimate way to intimacy off of just names and all that)

Other side note, I think he would also do the same with the other rivals minus Osana and Hanako and the teachers ofc, just because he’s polite like that.

Info-chan - Okay, listen, I’m actually not really sure, bc the -chan implies that she could be super genki, but she really isn’t? She’s super aloof and kinda cruel and honestly doesn’t really seem to be the type of person to use -chan with herself.

My own hc was that her first client as super flirty or something and used that bc she didn’t have a name for herself yet, and it kinda just stuck. But of course we have no canon text supporting that, but the thing is, she refers to Osana as “Osana-chan,” so maybe she really is just like that?? I still think she would refer to everyone by last name without honorifics normally, but maybe the select few people she chooses (probably victims LOL), she would address by fn-chan/kun, but I think we need more between her and osana first to figure out what the connection is. Personally, I think she’d only bring out the cutesy honorifics in moments of sadism, bc her current character just seems too aloof otherwise.

Osana Najimi - Debating between FN-san, or LN-chan/kun with her, as she seems pretty friendly and outgoing with that spunky personality of hers, I’m leaning towards the former, personally. When she’s friends with someone, she’ll switch to FN-chan/kun, but when she’s extremely close to someone (Raibaru and Hanako), she drops the honorific entirely. If addressing someone she dislikes, she refers to them by their last name alone.

In the case of Taro!! when she was younger, she also referred to him as “Taro-kun”, but as her crush developed more and more, she attempted to put some distance and began referring to him as “Senpai”. This happened sometime after he went into high school, and he simply accepted the change as just them growing a little distant, but he does miss being “Taro-kun” with her. I think she would drop all honorifics when she confesses though, just so she is “reaching through the barrier” and becoming as close and intimate as possible.

Amai Odayaka - I think she defaults to the typical LN-san formal speech, as she seems very polite. She probably switches to -chan and -kun when she gets closer to someone, but would always asks for permission first. Since she has the reputation of being a “big sister” with the school, I don’t really see her dropping the honorifics ever? Since it’s just too intimate otherwise. Maybe unless the other person is super super close/intimate, like maybe with Taro if they got together, or her suitor, and of course, most likely Shoku.

Kizana Sunobo - I’m not really familiar with the stereotypical himedere honorifics, but she seems like the type that would address someone by their full name. But tbh, I don’t think she’d even bother learning other peoples names when she thinks they’re beneath her (which would probably be like. everyone LOL). She probably defaults to last name though, but if she’s working with someone she respects, she’ll probably just address them by first name, no honorific.

Oka Ruto - Rather straightforward, uses the typical polite LN-san/senpai. The exception is with her clubmates, where she’ll use LN-chan/kun, since she’s closer to them, I would think. She wants to call Shin and Chojo “Senpai”, but i think they would both decline as she is higher in rank to the both of them as their club leader.

Asu Rito - She’s supposedly really friendly and outgoing, I can see her adding -chan/kun to everyone she talks to! Don’t really know whether it’d be first or last name basis though, since honestly we don’t have that much on Asu and I feel like if I speculated anymore, it would go wayyy too into headcanon territory. But I think it’d be really sweet to see her refer to Itachi by his first name, he seems so intimidating that I think everyone would just refer to him as Zametora only.

Muja & Mida - Putting them both together bc as teachers, they’d just use LN-san, both for their students and their coworkers. Maybe they can also substitute with -kun? Particularly Mida, but that feels more grandpapa-ish if you get what I mean. I think they would both definitely refer to taro as Yamada-kun though, to accentuate how special he is to them though LOL.

Osoro Shidesu - Definitely just last name with no honorific. Even with authority, she won’t use -sensei or anything like that, unless its someone she respects, then she’ll use -san (like maybe Genka? It’s too early to tell I think, but I imagine they have a complicated relationship). I think she would use first names ONLY on extremely special moments, (the delinquents all want to hear that someday, but that someday is yet to be reached). Taro doesn’t hear it until Friday, most definitely. Speaking of Taro, I really, really can’t imagine her calling him Senpai, (Yamada would work just fine imo, it would especially help with Taeko dialogue too), but only time will tell I suppose.

Hanako Yamada - Definitely has an excessive use of -chan/-kun with her bubbly personality, but I think she would use primarily last names since she’s a first year who’s transferring in. I think she probably would use -niichan/-neechan with senpai since she’s supposed to be super clingy, but I recall dev saying somewhere on reddit that she might use Senpai when they’re at school? I think it would be cute to hear her stumble over saying Oniichan, realize her mistake, and then say Senpai.

Megami Saikou - She definitely uses the extremely polite LN-san. I think she would addresses all her upperclassmen as Senpai, because Megami is extremely humble and wouldn’t do anything to flaunt arrogance by insisting she’s on the same level as them. She definitely wouldn’t use anything informal like -chan or-kun, after all she must be extremely perfect, and any sign of affection is a sign of weakness.

With her parents, she would definitely address them as Otou-sama and Okaa-sama, because they’re both important figures in high society. However, with people she’s secretly close with, I think she would address them by their first name only. These people being Aoi, and eventually Taro (and Kencho by default). To people she “resents,” I think she would privately drop the honorific and address them by last name. (these people being Kaga and Ayano LOL. maybe even Osoro too depending on how the lore turns out) She would never do this in public though, as it could tarnish the Saikou image.

i was wondering as a someone who doesnt have the entire cutesy pink pleated skirt and white thigh highs aesthetic and is quite the opposite actually, would touya nii see the reader differently when they first met if she dresssed and just presented more physically like him aesthetic wise? like for example, i have both sides of my nose, my septum, my bridge and i have a vertical laberet piercing and i have around 40 tattoos, and style have this like 90s hippie mom gone alt, a mix of like @/kiefcrumbs and @/starshynee on tt. would he think its so cool bc of how similar alt reader is to him? would it maybe make him more interested to get in her pants?

also curious about the same question but like culturally, im black and hispanic and am giggling thinking about touya nii trying some different food than what hes used to and loving it as and him laughing at reader having silly habits and superstitions because of her culture hehe

he would treat her differently IF her personality differed from his original reader’s, only because it would be necessary for him to treat her differently and employ different methods of manipulation etc to catch her, trap her, shatter her, put her back together his way, and make her his forever. i’ve said this before but what initially draws touya to his reader is 1. the step-sibling dynamic and 2. her personality, not necessarily her visual aesthetic—it’s her extreme need for external validation and to be told that she’s good. with that being said, he’d still be interested either way, of course. touya-nii isn’t picky in the slightest, and he enjoys trapping all types of prey and the unique challenges each will present. he’d probably ask you so many questions about your tattoos and be genuinely interested in your reasonings for them and their backstories, if they have any! since you both have tattoos and piercings, that provides a similar interest, a perfect jumping off point, and that’s exactly what he’d use to initially hook you. you’d possibly prove more of a challenge than his reader, but he’d have a lot of fun with that tbh. it would be even more rewarding when he finally breaks you down!

i purely write my readers as cutesy baby bratty lil things because that’s what i am and that’s what comforts me most + what i enjoy writing the most! at the end of the day, i write for me, first and foremost. as i’ve said before, my work is extremely self-indulgent (that’s half the fun!) and also pulls from my own life, so c: i purposefully leave *most* descriptions of her clothes beyond ‘skirt/dress’ vague, so you’re always more than welcome to picture her in more alt-type dresses if you’d like to! that would be a really interesting dichotomy hehe <3 but alt girls can be just as cute/cutesy as girls who dress in pink etc!!!!! having a certain visual aesthetic isn’t a prerequisite for being cute!!!

AH OKAY see i’m italian and i daydream about the same thing!!!!!! not with touya-nii but with dabi in general! just trying authentic italian foods made by my mom or my nonna, making ravioli + sauce from scratch with him, and introducing him to all of my family’s traditions etc <3 it’s a very cute thing to think about!

some light cuddles too maybe, but i don't see her as an overtly physical type of person. some soft tracing of your arms, some nestling into ur strawberry-blonde hair are likely the go-to moves, but she values being with you more than touching you or going out to places also if ur lying down, her 5'5 ass can pretend she's taller than u bc she digs the height difference dynamic i bet.

Hand in hand, you were strolling through Akihabara with Bakugou. The other hand holding two bags of merchandise you had bought – a successful hunt indeed. Katsuki, however, only had one small bag with a new video game he bought for you both to enjoy, so all in all the free day you two had was very relaxing and stress-free for once.

Until it all went down the drain…

“Babe, do you wanna get something to eat before we go back?”, you asked while already looking around. You knew an incredible restaurant that wasn’t too far away from your current location.

“No, [Your.name]! Did you forget already? We need to cook something with the chicken in our fridge before it gets bad.”, Bakugou playfully rolled his eyes while nudging you. To think he was ever having such a …domestic talk with someone. A year ago he would have laughed hysterically at the thought of living together with someone and managing a small household.

“Oh… right.”, you chuckled before you leaned in to smooch him, “Ain’t I lucky to have such an amazing boyfriend who remembers these things.”

“Yeah, right. Keep sweet talking and I might even-“

“YOOOO [YOUR.NAME]!”, someone yelled, interrupting your intimate moment, hence Katsuki shooting him a death glare, however…

“Oh! Akitoshi, hey.”, you greeted the significantly smaller male as well.

“It’s been a hot minute. How you doin’?”, he grinned, then looked at Katsuki, “I see, already slipping into the next pair of panties, huh?”

This little bastard- Though Bakugou’s string of thought was cut when you just awkwardly laughed and hugged his muscular body closer to your side.

“Akitoshi, this is Bakugou Katsuki, my boyfriend, so be nice, okay?”, then you turned to Katsuki who was scowling, “Babe, this is my ex, Ninomiya Akitoshi. We mutually agreed to separate so there weren’t any harsh feelings, he’s a good guy.”

“Nice to meet you, bro!”, Aki tried to break the ice by going in for a fist bump, but Bakugou was not having it as he just kept staring at him.

“Hey…”

While you were talking to your ex for a few moments, Katsuki couldn’t help but start eyeing him up and down. He was small, skinny, feminine looking and kind of dainty. Everything he wasn’t. To be quite honest, Bakugou was the complete opposite. He was as tall as you, very buff and well-trained and suits wanted to cry when he would try them on because of his sheer build he acquired due to being a pro-hero for many years now. And seeing how your type was, very obviously, something very different before you met him… Bakugou was suddenly a little insecure and he hated feeling that way.

“Okay, well, Aki, it was nice meeting you, but we need to go now and catch a train.”

“Same, dude, same. Glad you’ve found someone you like, you look happy, man.”, he said with a small smile as he looked at you and Katsuki, who was still just grunting and holding extra tight onto you.

And with that, you and your boyfriend finally walked back to the train station.

Once you were at home though, you watched as he flopped onto the couch, hence you asked, “Okay, what is going on? Ever since meeting Aki you’ve been quiet.”

“What? No! He’s…”, he paused, then tried to fake a smile, “really… lovely. A nice guy.”

“Babe… I love you but holy fuck you can’t lie.”, then you sat down beside him.

“Hey, talk to me. Did he do something? I know the slipping into panties thing was weird, but-“

“That’s not it, [Your.name].”, Katsuki sighed and crossed his arms.

“Then what is it?”

A long pause followed where you just looked at him and Bakugou stared at the desk in front of him with your and his bags on. Only for him to finally open his mouth after a few moments of silence.

“I look nothing like him.”

“… And that is a problem… why?”, you were visibly confused.

“I mean, fuck he is… he’s a fucking femboy. I just- I am NOTHING like him. Your type is a skinny little dainty femboy and I am literally the complete opposite, so like- Why the fuck do you even like me?”, Katsuki finally blurted out, gesturing with his arms wildly before he flopped back onto the couch.

You, on the other hand, just stared at him for a moment in disbelief.

“That… That is what it’s about? Really?”

“Yeah… You probably could swing him around like a toothpick while I am… well I am heavy.”

“Babe, please. I love you, just the way you are. Just because Aki was one type of guy, doesn’t mean I can’t find another type of guy attractive as well, you know?”, reaching out, you took his hand in yours.

Drawing circles on the back of it, you then slowly progressed to touching his face and softly turning his head so he would look at you eventually.

“Hey…. I love you. I love that you could snap me in half at any possible second.”, thankfully, Katsuki snorted and mumbled an “Idiot.” yet he didn’t break eye contact as his hand slowly wandered down to play with your t-shirt.

“I love you too, [Your.name]… Thank you. I don’t know what happened to me, I guess seeing your ex just fucked with my brain for a second there.”, he then said before leaning in for a kiss that you happily returned.

“Hmh, it’s okay… I know you’re very different from everyone else I’ve dated before, physique and personality vise, but… I am also the most happiest when I’m with you.”, you gently played with his hand while smooching him over and over again.

“So I am better than anyone else, hm?”, Bakugou grinned instantly while being pushed back into the couch willingly, his big, heavy body pressed against your own.

“Hmm absolutely.”, you purred back.

Your hands were already busy slipping underneath his t-shirt as your lips pressed hot kisses onto his sensitive neck, earning his little groan that made your heart jump. Even though Bakugou probably wouldn’t believe you if you said it out loud, but… he certainly was very cute, even if he wasn’t dainty or small.

A very delicious smell softly shook him awake, ruby eyes fluttering open as he looked around for a moment. Sitting back up, Katsuki inevitably had to smile a little when he saw the blanket you put over his naked body, realizing once more how stupid it was to get jealous.

“Babe?”, naked as he was, he walked into the kitchen where the scent was coming from.

“Hey, Kat.”, you turned around a bit, though was it already too late when arms snuck around your hips and you felt a weight on your shoulder.

“Hey… The chicken?”

“The chicken.”, you chuckled and softly nudged his head with your own.

“If you hurry, you can still take a shower before we can eat.”

“Hm… sounds good.”, Katsuki whispered.

However, before he could walk away completely, he turned around once more, catching you off guard a little when he was back to hugging you from behind.

“Also… thanks.”, he only mumbled with red cheeks, before he nudged your head to the side to connect your lips.

“Hmmm…”, you purred while returning his kisses happily.

“Always. Now go.”, with a giggle, you playfully smacked his naked butt when he finally turned around and walked away.

And as Bakugou stood in front of the big bathroom mirror, he couldn’t help but blush even more intensely. His muscular body was visibly covered in hickeys, making him facepalm and sigh. Though… he also couldn’t suppress hat little grin that formed on his lips.

Really… getting jealous was so stupid.

Hey, so i’m questioning, and am hoping for some advice.

I think i’m somewhere along the lines of cupioro and romance neutral

I’ve been in what i thought was love before… I was in a two year relationship with this guy and I really did care about him, like a lot. So it hurt like hell when he broke up with me, but looking back at how I really felt after the breakup and even during the relationship has me questioning a lot more about myself.

For example:

even though it hurt me that we broke up in a relationship aspect, I was more worried about losing him as a friend since we had been so close.

Platonic love? maybe that’s all i can feel. maybe I did love him but only platonically?

I was also mainly just worried about being alone and never finding someone else. which brings me to the idea of being cupioro, but then again maybe I’m just bad at love?

Looking back though, I never really felt anything for him romantically. And whenever I would think of cutesy romantic things with him in my mind, it always felt like I was watching from third person and couldn’t actually feel any of it. Again… cupioro? or something else?

Here’s the other thing tho, I love the idea of love. Love songs, romantic movies, fanfics, exc. I love them, and i want to experience it in my own life, but it’s almost like i’m physically incapable of romantic love, or feeling it. I know from everything I read/watch/listen to what i’m supposed to do and how i’m supposed to feel, and i’ve been living my life basically acting to fit that criteria.

But it’s not that i can’t love, bc i can love platonically so hard. i get attached to my friends so easily, and i am such a propel person over all. so it’s not that i’m fully incapable of love either, however it’s almost like i’m incapable of feeling love. Like when someone shows me love, it doesn’t do anything for me, or it wierds me out. I again, put on that act and respond how i’m “supposed to” but it never feels right.

I have a few friends that are aro/ace so i’ve looked into that, but it doesn’t feel right because i crave love and i fear not being loved.

anyways this has turned into a whole rant, i’m really just trying to figure myself out

what am i? cupioro? romance neurtral? aro/ace? something else? or just straight with bad love experience?

any advice? i’ve been reading litterly everything i can find and so much is so relatable, but i don’t know what to do.

and if i am cupiro or anything else… does that mean my past relationships have been fake?

i may not feel attraction but i still care about people and it feels like i can love..? atleats platonically.

this is... a lot to read through and process. I might not be able to give you as detailed an answer as you were hoping for. But I'll try my best.

It definitely does sound like you could be on the aromantic spectrum. You said that you were sad when you broke up with your partner because you saw him as a very close friend, but that looking back you don't think you felt and romantic attraction to him. This is a common experience for arospec people - and to answer your later question, if you are arospec, it absolutely wouldn't mean your past relationships have been fake! Aromantic people can still be in relationships, romantic or otherwise, and you said yourself that you loved him as a friend. Just because it wasn't romantic love, that doesn't invalidate the love you felt for him.

It's also important to note that feeling platonic love doesn't mean you can't be aro. Aromanticism is simply a lack of romantic attraction. There are many other types of attraction and many other ways to love people without it being romantic.

With regards to whether you may be cupio, from what you've said it's definitely a possibility. And you mentioned not wanting to be alone forever - maybe you could experiment with non-romantic relationships, like qprs?

Being romance neutral is a very wide and personal label. There's lots of room for interpretation. If you like the idea of romance but wouldn't want to be in a romantic relationship, you could absolutely use romance neutral to describe that! or even romance favourable if you're feeling daring (@romo-aro-culture-is might be able to help on that account)

At the end of the day, all I can say is go with what feels right (helpful advice, I know). If you're reading resources about being cupio/aro/ace and you find them relatable, if you think "that sounds like me!" then chances are... you are cupio/aro/ace!

Hello!!!! Welcome back!!! Your requests are absolutely immaculate!!! Thank you for more Hawks, I love writing for him! I find writing for him to be rather easy and pleasant and this helped me write myself out of writer’s block so ty for the request!

Time to be honest real quick: I don’t get the appeal of asking someone what they think a character looks for in a s/o (I’m not shiting on ur request I promise I had fun writing it and really giving it some thought!), it’s probs due to most of the time the responses reading pretty much my opposite, but I will give you my opinion n e way!

Let’s jump right into this :)

Hawks is a rather laid-back dude so he needs someone to match that, so no one super uptight, they’d be fun to tease for a bit but they’re just not what he’s looking for in the long run

He looks for a certain level of maturity bc as much as he enjoys a little childishness every now and again you have to understand that sometimes things need to be taken super seriously, he doesn't want to end up feeling like he’s your babysitter instead of your boyfriend

You need to be rather open and able to communicate properly, he doesn’t like fights or arguments or whatever (I mean no one does but you get the point)

I would like to think he appreciates it if his s/o isn’t too like emotionally charged bc that can lead to all kinds of jumping to conclusions and miscommunications and he’s not about all that hassle. He’s a man working a demanding job dammit

Now I think it’d take him awhile to be open about much, his past, whatever it is so you have to okay with him being slow to open up to you

He works late and often so he’s looking for someone who’s not too clingy and rather independent bc in all honesty he can’t be around as much as he wants to :(

Ok se he’s a big tease, we all know this so this can actually go two ways

I think he’d either want someone who can keep up with his remarks and return the favor

Or he wants someone who’s easily flustered by his antics

I see no in-between

Physically he’s not looking for anything in particular, he’s a personality man :)

part 3! jotaro(before the crusade) x reader relationship headcanons

joot isn’t very affectionate , so he would need time to actually confirm his feelings and confess them since we all know he isn’t that in tune with anything romantic

baby is very shy lowkey but his bad boy exterior wouldn’t have anyone thinking that , so when he asks you out it actually startled you

i hc that his favorite coffee is a vanilla sweet cream cold brew because it’s not overly sweet but it’s not overly bitter either ,, so he asked but softly told you to come get coffee with him

goin down the road to future dates , joot gives me the vibes of anything that has to do with study or animals

this meaning ,he would subtly but not subtly plan dates to places like museums , aquariums,observatories, zoos etc

now when it comes to physical affection , joot is more standoffish when it comes to receiving it so he’ll stiffen up a bit until he can fully get comfortable

he also isn’t a man of many words so i feel like arguments wouldn’t be a thing unless one of you is really pent up , but even then he isn’t the type to argue back bc he knows it won’t do anything

also speaking on this , joot doesn’t really say his affection nor is he one for love letters and constant flirting but he knows how to show his love if it makes sense

so don’t expect for him to have many words to say when you’re particularly feeling down , but he’ll listen and comfort you in the best way he can even if it means having to get physically affection

also jojo is very attentive so he remembers your favorite things and important dates like your birthday and y’all’s anniversary , so just maybe he’ll plan some unexpected dates

he is a phone call type of person because he needs to know that the person he’s talking to is there , and he won’t tell you but he likes hearing your voice

so calls are type frequent if you guys aren’t together , or can’t see eachother

another random headcanon , he would want to hand craft you something ( not bc holly told him he should-) and would accidentally injure himself in the process with something like sewing

i feel like jojo’s love language would perhaps be gifts but he would subtly be like “oh this? yare yare don’t ask, just take it”

7 Anti LO Asks

1. ok, tell me if im wrong here, but i physically cannot find lo hades attractive because he just looks like a tumblr sexy man version of snow miser from those old stop animated christmas movies. like theyre literally the same 😭

2. I absolutely hate how everyone is making Persephone to be this bubbly little girl who is way too nice, and in LO’s case it’s the worst. Sure Persephone is associated with spring, but spring isn’t only flowers and happiness. Spring brings aprils rain, burning sun, in some places it’s hunting season, and animals which were hibernating wake up and go and hunt other animals and you know, kill them and eat them. Spring is uncontrollable weather, one moment it’s warm a couple of minutes later it’s cold again. Today is sunny tomorrow there’s a storm. Associating Persephone only with the good parts of spring makes her a weak and one dimensional character, especially since she is also knows as queen of the underworld. Spring brings as much death as it brings life. It is not a cutesy season and associating Persephone with it and just making it this cartoonish is a dumb move. In some panels Hades talks about how there were some moments where spring seemed much more wild and uncontrollable, since Persephone was the one doing the work. Why can’t we see that in LO? If Persephone is spring why isn’t she wild and uncontrollable as well? This part of Persephone should have been written from the beginning, instead of seeing a little melancholic girl who can’t say no to people.

3. LO could have beee more creative with the modern timeline tbh. Poseidon could have been like a Steve Irwin type with a sea-life tv show. Zeus could have been a fantasy version of a Prime Minister. Hera could be a socialite. Apollo could have been the leader of a band (the muses are his background sisters/musicians), i could go on. LO just went "uh, they all have vague businesses and cell phones" and that's it. Oh also they video tapes, you know a thing no one has used since 1997.

4. I just remembered that in a chapter when Hades and Persephone were talking, Hades told her how she seemed sad at the olympus party? And it doesn’t really make sense bc why would she be sad? She got the freedom she wanted, she’s going to a party without her overbearing mother, she’s with a friend? And since she’s so friendly and bubbly wouldn’t she be able to make friends straight away? She knew Artemis, Hera and i’m guessing Hestia and Athena must have been there as well. Was it so hard for her to just move around and see who she knew? And then we have creepy Hades who is like “you seemed sad, like me, at that party 🥰🥰” like??? Just bc you are sad and don’t like your life why the hell do you think other people are too?

5. I don’t understand why every sheltered character (usually if not always female) is always like “uwu I’m innocent and don’t know about the bad things in the world! I act shy at first but in reality I’m open and extroverted!” I mean some people who were sheltered are like that and and there’s nothing wrong with it but it’s never deconstructed or seen as creepy in stories like LO (i.e. naive young person x powerful older person power imbalance) why can’t we have a “I struggle to properly communicate informally with people my age and it affects me deeply, I’m cold and distant but I feel lonely at the same time, I’m outcasted for my interests because I‘ve been closed off from the world” type? A story about them developing relationships and getting some character development whilst still being introverted would be interesting, but I guess when you have female characters like that they can’t be sympathetic /s

6. I think Rachel shot herself in the foot when it comes to Persephone's act of wrath and the stans are basically fixing her mistake in their mind. If stans really wanted to pull the "she's a god, gods just do those kinds of things nbd"-card, Rachel should've actually made it no big deal. Instead, she put in place that gods cannot just kill mortals willy-nilly. Eros was going to be reprimanded for his Heartbreak Act of Wrath, but basically got saved by Zeus' General Horniness because, well... Zeus I guess? 🤷‍♀️ But the rules are there. If it's not okay for Eros, why would it be okay for Persephone? I low-key hate that I'm agreeing with Zeus the hypocrite here, but he is right: Hades (and the stans) are biased.

7. I'm only partially sarcastic when I say that I am low-key jealous of Rachel. I don't think I would be getting away with such an inconsistent art style- and I do mean in every way possible, she literally admitted on Twitter and I quote: "my drawing style is inconsistent, but I think that's part of the charm? Being flexible is what allows me to stay engaged with projects I've been doing for years now".

Don't get me wrong, there's an art style improving over time, heck there is a creator realizing a certain art style just doesn't work well on the long run and -TELLING THEIR FANS- it will change from the pilot chapter on, but then there's.... whatever Rachel is doing. Seeing how much the crew of Steven Universe got shat on for having inconsistencies while two animation studios were working on it just makes me wonder why Rachel doesn't seem to get that bs from her stans. At least Steven Universe has character sheets....

Tsukishima Kei seeing you cry for the first time

you'd had deep conversations with Tsukki before, but raw emotion was something you hadn't encountered in your relationship yet. It just never came up, but it couldn't be avoided forever

tbh you were terrified to let him see you cry, and you felt horrible for it, because you did trust him but you had no idea how he'd react to that side of you, or rather, what you'd pictured wasn't good

it hadn't even been a bad day, that's the thing. It was just everything weighing down on you all at once that finally made it spill over

now you're able to get past it normally, push it down or tell yourself it's fine, then find a way to deal with your stress later. Really that "put a pin in it" attitude and then you never do get to it

you're not one to show these thoughts on your face either. Like Tsukki you distract from it with a snarky comment or bright smile, etc, and you even distract yourself

so you and Tsukki were hanging out in his room doing homework, and you'd been going out for a few months so it's not weird or anything

he is a perceptive guy, so he'd noticed your mood was off for a while, but when he'd asked earlier how you were you'd hit him with the "fine" and he assumed you'd tell him when you were ready nope

you had spent the last ten minutes on this single math problem, and no matter how much you tried you just couldn't figure it out and it just got to you, yknow? These thoughts in your head about how useless and dumb you were, spiraling irrationally into all these other bad thoughts

a shudder, a sniffle, a choked sob, whatever small thing it is, he notices right away

bc this mf is observant and attentive okay?

and he just freezes. and his mind just starts racing and lowkey freaking out? bc he'd never heard that sound from you and it stirred something in him

not in a good way. It was dread, and fear, and confusion

he just says your name, no emotion or anything, just an acknowledgement

"y/n?"

and then you freeze because shit of course he noticed

"y/n...are you crying?"

his voice is astoundingly even, after all he's good at masking his emotions too

your immediate reaction is brush it off and ignore

bc you'd never been vulnerable like this. tbh you really thought he'd be uncomfortable with such strong emotions, which is why you'd avoided talking with him about it. The last thing you wanted to do was make him uncomfortable

but oh boy is that about to change

so you shake your head, "I'm fine."

but oh, your voice breaks, and it's like the floodgates burst. That little bit of panic and stress pushed you over

and then Tsukki internally goes oh fuck

Honestly? It hurts him to see you cry, so so much, but seeing you try to hide it from him? Absolutely rips him apart

Did he do something? He goes through every little thing in his head overanalyzing and feeling worse and worse

he really spaces out for a moment bc he has no idea what to do. He's not a natural comforter by any means

"hey, what's wrong?"

"nothing"

"it's obviously not nothing"

"it doesn't matter" why are you even trying at this point

then he scoffs bc obv it does matter, or you wouldn't be crying over it.

and if it matters to you, it matters to him

but oOf that was the wrong reaction

bc you immediately think you've annoyed him,, so you just start packing your things to leave and you choke out

"I'm sorry"

and he breaks

tsukishima: fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck

"Don't--" He winces when it comes out harsher than he means and he takes a deep breath and walks over to you

and just wraps you in the biggest hug, pressing his face into your hair and you hear the softest, most gentle:

"don't... don't ever apologize"

and then you break fr fr

because this is something you never expected, and he's so warm

every reservation and fear you'd been holding onto with him falls apart and you cry into his chest lowkey feeling bad about his shirt

and he just holds you so tightly not saying anything, just being there, and it feels so good to have him there that even after you stop you just stand there for a while

when you finally do pull away he holds your face and wipes your cheeks with his thumbs, but your eyes are still on the ground

"look at me"

and when you do, you don't see pity, you see an expression of genuine love and concern for you, which is so foreign on him and simultaneously the most beautiful it makes you want to cry again

"look, you don't have to tell me what's wrong if you don't want to, but don't forget I'm here for you, dummy"

jokes on him, because you do tell him everything, just let everything out. As hesitant as you were in the beginning once you start you don't stop

and he's a great listener. Not the type of active listening where you say mhm and that sucks etc, but his eyes never leave you and he'll drop an occasional question to understand better and show he is paying attention

wraps you in a blanket and holds your hand the entire time

and you feel a bit silly for ever thinking he'd make fun of you or reject you

and it becomes a regular thing for you two to just check in on each other and vent so you don't bottle shit up, bc even if he denies it, he does the same thing

doesn't let you get away with it anymore, bc like hell he'd see you like that again. And though he's not one to cry, he does compartmentalize emotions but you make sure he talks through it

and honestly? your bond is so much stronger for it

crying for reasons like that becomes less of a frequent thing

but obviously shit happens

not even god can save any person that makes you cry oop

he's still awkward, but much more prepared, an absolute angel. You really brought out the soft side of this boy💕

bc his heart breaks every time your eyes so much as water

there's always little gestures of comfort when he listens to you

holding your hand and rubbing his thumb over your knuckles as a constant reminder he's there and listening

If it's possible sometimes he'll wrap you in a blanket again and let you lean on his shoulder

but in terms of hugs and stuff you usually initiate it bc he wants to respect your boundaries esp if you don't want to be touched at that moment

"Kei, can I...?" *gestures with arms*

he gives the most dramatic sigh but opens his arms anyway

oh yeah he's still a snarky little shit. will throw in a little tease every now and then bc he knows it makes you smile, but chooses his moments carefully so he doesn't step over the line

is the type to kiss your tears away aw
