One night, when they were drunk and feeling funny, Carol had dared Steve to walk up to The Freak and demand the alpha eat him out.
“What’s the reward?” Steve had squinted at her.
“A mind-blowing orgasm,” Carol had wiggled her brows. “I heard Munson is really good with his mouth.”
Steve had snorted and that was the end of the topic.
He knew Carol hadn't meant it and had probably forgotten about the whole thing came the morning.
But every time he ran into Eddie at the school, his eyes would always linger a bit too long on those plump lips.
Carol’s words kept circling in his head like a broken record.
Munson is really good with his mouth.
Steve should’ve known better than to give in to his curiosity (and desire), but by the time he stood in Eddie’s bedroom, blushing and trying to not fumble around like an idiot, it had been too late to back out.
He had suggested the school’s bathroom stall at first, but the alpha just shook his head with a lopsided smile, “Princesses like you deserve to be taken to a bed.”
It was supposed to be mocking, but the way Eddie scrambled up to follow after him like a dog with a bone told Steve everything he needed to know.
So now, with Eddie’s head burying between his legs and hot tongue lapping at his cunt, Steve decided that Carol was right for once.
That mouth was really talented.
Steve had his fingers tangled in the mass of dark curls, thighs trembling and eyes rolling back as Eddie pinned him down and drank all of his slick from the very source.
“Eddie,” he mewled, seeing stars when the alpha licked at his sweet spot.
And then, his stomach tightened, the pulsating heat coursed through him and before he knew it, the blinding pleasure crashed over him like a bull.
It was his most intense orgasm and he was still shaking when Eddie pulled away, eyes dark and heavy with want.
“Again?” The alpha asked, hand stroking his hipbone slowly, temptingly.
Steve should’ve turned down the offer, told Eddie it was just a one-time thing, put on his briefs and slacks and gone on his way.
But Steve did none of that. He just nodded and spread his legs wider, “Please.”
It was all Eddie needed to kiss him on the forehead, “So polite. Such a good boy, aren't you?”
Steve let out a chirp but before he could feel embarrassed about it, Eddie kissed him again. This time, it was on his lips.
“Gonna treat you right, sweetheart.”
And Steve was helplessly charmed.
In hindsight, he should’ve seen it coming a mile away with how eager Eddie had been at his audacious request.
Because after three orgasms being wrung out of him, Eddie just kept going, sucking and licking and fucking Steve’s sensitive pussy with his tongue.
He didn't stop until Steve screamed his name and squirted all over his face, cross-eyed and delirious from the overstimulation.
Steve had been too out of it to register whatever the alpha tried to tell him afterward. When he regained his senses again, he found himself all cleaned up with his briefs on and tucked under a soft quilt that smelled of citrus and cigarettes.
It felt like coming home but Steve didn't want to get ahead of himself so he ignored the joyful purr from his inner omega and let his eyes wander, searching for a certain alpha instead.
As soon as he wondered where the hell Eddie was, the door opened and let the alpha in. He smiled teasingly when he caught Steve staring.
“Back to earth, Harrington?”
Steve frowned. He wanted to be ‘sweetheart’ again. But he just pushed through his sudden discomfort and sat up.
“Yeah, I gotta go,” he didn't bother meeting Eddie’s eyes as he tried to stand up on his wobbly legs.
And yet, he was taken off guard when Eddie was by his side within seconds and gently pushed him back down.
“Wha–”
The kiss was a surprise, but Steve wasn't picky so he wrapped his arms around Eddie’s neck and let out those happy trills and chirps.
Was he too easy to please? Perhaps.
Then again, Steve wasn't one to turn down his chance and if Eddie decided to give him what he wanted, he didn't see why he shouldn’t take it and run as far away as possible.
“God, you’re so sweet,” Eddie groaned once they parted. “Never taste anything as sweet as you.”
“Liar,” Steve pouted with a haughty sniff.
“I’m not,” Eddie pecked the corner of his lips repeatedly, as if couldn't have enough of him, as if to stave off the endless hunger. “Been crazy about you for years, sweetheart.”
“Really?” Steve arched his eyebrow and bit his lips to contain his stupid smile.
“Really really,” Eddie seemed to give up the charade and kissed him square on the lips again. “Just say the word and I’ll give you everything, baby boy.”
“Then fuck me,” Steve murmured against those plump lips. “And if you’re good, I might ride your knot later.”
Steve knew he had gotten Eddie right where he wanted when the alpha growled and flipped him over.
The next day, he walked to his locker with a limp and Carol just shot him an impressed look.
Honestly, Steve also felt pretty proud of himself.

When the early morning came, you were stirred awake by the feeling of heeseung’s palm lightly stroking your side as he placed a few soft pecks on your cheek. “Morning, hee,” you whisper groggily, your eyes still closed with your back facing him.
You scoot into him so he can cover you in his warmth, and he snuggles up to you, pressing his naked chest flush against your back. “Morning, my princess,” he giggles, and you can feel the soft rumble in his chest, making you smile. “Sorry to wake you. Didn’t want you to wake up to an empty bed.”
You hum, acknowledging him. “What time is it?”
“5:06, so I need to leave soon,” he mumbles against your neck, tickling you.
You groan in disapproval, but you know there’s no way he can stay. That being said, you don’t say anything, nor do you make any moves to bid him goodbye because you don’t want him to leave.
“I’ll miss you.” he kissed the back of your neck, his toes playing with yours under the sheer white sheets. “Everything you said to me last night, is that all still true?”
“Of course, hee, you know I never stopped loving you.” You placed your hand over his, which was still resting on your waist.
“Me too, love. Just thought maybe you’d come to your senses the morning after,” he jokes, but you don’t really find it to be amusing.
“Hee…” you squeezed his hand for reassurance. “Don’t say that.”
“It’s hard not to when you fuck up the way I did. I’m surprised you even want to see me, let alone talk to me and make love to me.” his voice drops even lower than it already was, and it made your chest ache the way he was beating himself up. It’s not like he intentionally hurt you.
“You didn’t mess up. Everything you said last night was true, right?” You reversed his question on him.
“Yes, mam, so true,” he hums.
“Then I’d be a fool not to want to see you, talk to you, and make love to you.” You smile and scoot even closer to him, your lower parts pressing together, leaving no space for the other not to say either of you wanted space.
A long sigh escaped his lips as he held you tighter. “Thank you for forgiving me, y/n, and taking me back.”
“Thank you for explaining yourself and keeping our promise,” you whispered.
“Of course, baby, you know I couldn’t just let you go like that” he kisses the shell of your ear as he rolls his hips into you testing to make sure he wasn’t getting the wrong signal from you and he knew he wasn’t as soon as he heard you moan quietly and grind your ass up against his crotch. “Really, princess?” He teases you. “You need me this early in the morning?” He whispers in your ear, licking the shell of it while he bucks his hips, matching your rhythm with a soft groan.
“Hee,” you whine, already feeling yourself becoming wet just from his touch. “I need you all the time.”
“Fuck princess, so do I, every fucking second,” he says and closes his eyes, not even trying to hide the effect you had on him while he succumbed to the pleasure, his warm shaft thick and pulsing on the soft flesh of your backside. “We gotta be quick, though, okay?”
You nod as soon as the words leave his lips, and you don’t care how quick you two have to be. You just need him inside of you right now.
You could feel his precum sticking to your ass as he humped his cock against you repeatedly, his hot breath on your ear getting heavier with every motion.
He moved his hand from your waist long enough to grip the base of his length and push the head of his cock in you.
“Hmm,” your opening clenched around his shaft, and he slowly pulled out just to push in again, entering you with much more ease, the stretch fueling your each and every desire for him.
Your hot, wet walls guide him in inch by inch until he bottoms out and reaches your cervix.
He reached around you, his hand gripping your breast while he started out slow to feel every dip, curve, and ridge of your pussy; your silky walls squeezed him in all the right places to have him biting on his lip to stop himself from making too much noise. “You always feel so fucking good” he circled your nipple rolling it between his fingers. “I’m so obsessed with you.”
You arched your back at his words. With the new angle, you could feel him pushing even deeper than before, and your toes curled at the sensation of his cock pumping your dripping wet hole.
You placed your hand on the back of his neck, your fingers gripping his soft hair. “Heeseung,” you moan, not as quietly as you would have liked, and he is quick to do something about it.
He took his palm off your right breast and held his thumb in front of your lips. “Suck on it,” he whispered in your ear, and you complied immediately, sucking on his thumb the way you would his cock.
“Atta princess,” he quickens the pace of his hips as beads of sweat form on your bodies. “Fuck, I’m so lucky to have you,” he says out of breath already. “I fucking love you so much.”
You want to say it back, and he knows it, but the harsh clenching of your walls tells him all he needs to know as his hips meet flush against your ass, and he fills you to the brim with his thick cock over and over.
You can only moan around his thumb, softly swirling your tongue around his digit as you soak his shaft with your creamy wetness, losing your mind to the pleasure.
He pressed his face against your neck, licking and kissing beneath your earlobe as he started to twitch inside you uncontrollably. “I’m really close,” he whimpers softly, his kisses turning wet sloppy, and desperate the longer he strokes deep inside your warm cunt. “Keep quiet, pretty,” he says before withdrawing his thumb from your mouth, his hand traveling between your quivering legs to play with your clit.
“Oh god, yes heeseung, yes right there, don’t stop,” you say as best as you can, keeping your sounds to a minimum as the heat builds in your lower stomach, and all that’s left is to patiently wait for that inevitable pressure to release throughout your body and disperse into the most intense euphoric sensation you’ve ever felt. “Kiss me.” You turn to him as best as you can, your eyes locking on every last beautiful feature of his face.
His eyes were lidded with arousal, the strands of his hair stuck to his sweaty forehead, and his lips were parted as shallow breaths came out, making him the most attractive sight you’ve ever laid your eyes on.
You pulled his head closer by the nape of his neck, your lips messily locking in the first kiss of the morning.
He groaned into your mouth, his tongue immediately swirling with yours as you exchanged saliva and soft moans of pleasure. “C-cumming,” you mumbled into the kiss, your orgasm hitting you hard as your walls spasmed around his veiny pulsating length, and you both weren’t just connected physically but mentally as well as he let himself go, following your lead into bliss.
“Me too.” his words get lost in the messy, heated kiss as you both struggle for air, never parting for even a second until your orgasms fade and you’re filled with every last drop of his love for you.
Heavy breathing fills your bedroom as you stare into each other's eyes, and out of nowhere, you both smile and break out into a fit of giggles as he holds you close. “I love you too,” you tell him since you didn’t get to earlier.
“God, you make me so happy.” he smiles and squeezes your figure, and as much as he was enjoying himself, sadly, this moment would have to come to an end. “I don’t wanna leave you,” he whines jokingly, but you can see his eyes are a little watery.
“Don’t worry,” you whisper, looking back at him. “I’ll text you all day today, and I’ll call you tonight, and maybe if you’re up to it, you can sneak over again.” You smile shyly as he grins at you.
“Okay, princess, sounds like a plan.” he kissed your lips softly and gently pulled out of you. He checked the time again, and you both lay down a little bit longer. “Seven more minutes”
After the few minutes were up, he peeled himself off you with a lot of protest from your end. “I’m not leaving just yet, princess. I'm just gonna grab some tissue to clean you up with.” You shyly hid under the sheets, and he winked at you, going to the bathroom and grabbing some wet wipes off your counter.
He removed the sheets slowly from your body and began wiping your intimate area. The soft look in his eyes while doing it made you melt, and you couldn’t believe you got so lucky to be with someone like him, and the aftercare was a big plus.
He discards the used wipes in the bin next to your bed, and all you can do is smile at him, not even noticing him rummaging through your drawers until he is handing you a pair of underwear and a shirt. “Here, baby put those on.” You do as he says while he dresses himself as well.
Once you both finish, he covers your body with a comforter, tossing the dirty sheet to the side and kissing your forehead before he gets ready to leave. “Love you, my princess. You promise you’ll text me?” He says with a pout, getting all cute on you out of nowhere.
“Promise, hee,” he smiles, leaning down to peck your lips one last time.
“Bye, love. I’ll be waiting for your text.”
“Okay, bye,” you whisper, and the last thing you see is his bright smile before your door closes.
You sigh sadly, but you know he has to go before your parents wake up. Luckily for him, he was able to sneak out of the house quietly, but he was gonna have to get used to this cause he’d definitely be coming over quite often to see you.
-
It was 3:05 when you received a notification on your phone. You were chilling in your bedroom, texting back and forth with heeseung like you promised, and when you heard the chime, your phone made you smile, reaching for the device.
You tapped the power button expecting to see a text from him, but your heart dropped to your stomach when your best friend's name flashed across the screen.
You immediately dropped the phone, and a loud gasp left your lips.
The absolute last thing you were expecting was a text from her, and your mind went to the worst places possible.
Did she find out?
How does she know?
What is she texting for?
“We need to talk”
You opened the message, reading the text over and over again, your heart racing in your chest rapidly.
You grip your phone tightly, your thumbs shaking with nerves as you type a reply.
“Sure, what time?” You try to respond as casually as possible.
She replies immediately.
“Now”
You’re so scared you leave the text on read and rummage through your closet, throwing on anything that’s suitable for going out.
You rush downstairs, your mom calling after you, and you say a quick bye before slipping into your shoes and rushing out the door.
Your mind was riddled with the worst thoughts possible, and your legs couldn’t move fast enough to arrive at your ex-best friend's house.
When you finally did, you knocked on the door, balancing on the balls of your feet until the door swung open, revealing your best friend.
Before you can even greet her, she shuts the door after you take a few steps in. “I know,” is all she says, and your world feels like it’s coming to an end.
That means she knew you were still going behind her back and lying to her, plus heeseung was doing the same. You felt terrible.
But you could only imagine it felt much worse for her to be lied to by her father and her best friend. It was the most heart-wrenching betrayal, and you played a big part in it.
You were shaking with nerves, eyes starting to water with tears. “I’m sorry”
You apologize through a sob. You weren’t sorry for being with her dad cause you loved that man with everything, but you were sorry for doing it all behind her back.
The silence is loud as she chews on her lip in thought.
You tried to step forward and hug her, but she moved back, and you felt your knees grow weak. “Please forgive me. I’m so sorry,” you cried, now, wet tears dripping down your cheeks cause you missed her so much.
It takes about another minute of silence before she finally responds. “You’re really sorry?” She asked, looking you dead in the eye.
“So sorry,” you reply hoarsely, wiping your tears with the cuff of your hoodie, only for more to take their place.
“And you love my father?” Her tone is one of questioning, but her voice is calm as if she had already thought long and hard about this before asking to talk with you.
“More than anything in the world,” you whisper quietly.
“Then okay,” she says and smiles afterward, which shocks you completely.
“O-okay? What do you mean, okay?” You reply, confused, your eyebrows furrowed, and you're not so patiently waiting for an explanation.
“Then you two have my approval.” She nodded to herself. Now that the words were coming out, her heart felt lighter, and she knew this was the right thing to do, even if she was a bit uncomfortable with it.
Just as you’re about to respond, Heeseung comes through the door from his shift. “Sweetpea, I’m ho-“ he stops dead in his tracks when he turns around and sees the both of you in his living room.
His face goes pale as he looks between you two. The same thoughts that were running through your head earlier are now running through his, and he tries to do his best to de-escalate the situation once he sees that you have tears in your eyes. “Sweetpea, it’s not what you thi-“
His daughter cuts his words, repeating the same thing she told you. “I know everything, Dad.”
His shoulders slump, and his head drops with disappointment. “I’m sorry,” he mutters with his head down. “I really am. I tried so hard to make things right, but I just couldn’t see a way to do that without going behind your back. You’re the most important girls in my life, and I just wanted you both to be happy after all this time. After the divorce, I wanted to be happy too, but all I did was complicate things, and y/n, I’m sorry for everything.”
He stared at the ground, his fingers fiddling with the seam of his suit pants.
It went silent again, but after he felt his daughter wrapping her arms around him, he forgot everything else, dropping his suitcase and immediately hugged her back in the tightest embrace he could muster.
“I know, Dad. I’m sorry, too. I know I was selfish, but I was just hurt, and I felt betrayed because you both hid things from me. But seeing you so down for years after the divorce, I realized that I just wanted you to be happy, even if it was with my best friend,” she sobs onto his shoulder.
“Oh sweetpea, I won’t ever hide anything from you ever again. I wanted to tell you, but I just didn’t know how.” A tear ran down his cheek as he rubbed her back to comfort his baby.
You watched the two of them talking through everything that had transpired over the past few months, and for once, you didn’t have to hide the love in your eyes for your best friend's father.
The scene before you was so wholesome you’re just happy that they were able to work through things despite what happened in the past.
He kissed her on her forehead as they separated from the hug. “Promise?” She stuck out her pinky, ready to swear on it.
Heeseung smiled proudly at his daughter, so grown but still just his little baby at heart. “Promise.” he looked over to you, and your smile made his heart feel at ease, and he could see a whole future with you in your eyes. “Come here.” He beckoned you closer.
His daughter stepped back, giving you space to reunite with each other. “I love you,” you whispered in his ear as you engulfed him.
“Love you, my princess,” he pecked you on the lips.
“Eww, not in front of me, not yet, at least.” Your best friend looks at you both with a disgusted look, but behind it, you could tell she was trying to stop herself from smiling.
“Hey! Group hug,” heeseung cheered as you three formed a circle and hugged each other.
“Okay, that’s enough.” his daughter pulls away first, and he ruffles her hair, getting a glare in return.
“There she is, back to herself self,” heeseung laughed as his daughter walked upstairs.
“No kissing in front of me, no flirting, and y/n, you’re my best friend, not my mom, so don’t even try it.” With that, you hear her door close and then turn to look at heeseung as you both release a relieved sigh.
“So…” he breathes out, his smile growing wider the more the reality sets in.
“Sooooooo?” You chuckle and wrap your arms around him.
“I’m so happy,” he grins and closes his eyes, pressing his lips to yours softly. “I love you.”
You held each other in the middle of the living room, the same spot where you both fell in love. It was definitely a bumpy ride, but you’d do it all again if it had this same outcome.
You hum against his lips. “I love you too.” You confess your love to him, and that definitely won’t be the last time.
here it is, I hope yall are happy. 😒
Thanks for reading please reblog and leave feedback.

rafe can’t handle it when you cry. he’s a problem solver at heart, and if something is bothering you, in his eyes it’s his responsibility to fix it. he was on a business call when you burst through the front doors of tannyhill, cheeks already stained with tears as your kitten heels click through the house. “rafe?” you call, sniffling and desperate to find him.
he hears you, attention shifting from his meeting to you. rafe is used to your dramatics, but something about your tone sets off alarm bells in his head. he gets up from his desk, cutting off the investor on the other line. “hey — hey man, i hate to do this to you, but could you just give me one second? somethin’ just came up.” he puts the call on hold and shoves his phone in his pocket before they can protest, and just in time for you to walk through his office doors. you’re a mess, shivering with mascara running wildly down your flushed cheeks. rafe’s forehead creases in concern, rushing around his desk to meet you where you’re standing so you can throw yourself into his arms.
“woah — woah, baby. breathe for me, alright?” rafe’s voice is soft but demanding, and he pulls away when you don’t respond, placing his warm hands on your upper arms to steady you. “hey — tell me what’s goin’ on.”
you suck in a few shaky breaths, whining and pawing at your eyes. you’re already so upset, and trying to condense your frustration into any sort of coherent answer has you even more overwhelmed. you just shake your head, more tears welling up in your eyes. “i don’t know! everything is going wrong.”
“okay, listen to me. you have to breathe.” he leans down to your level, commanding more of your attention as he brings one hand to wipe your tears. rafe knows you’re a sensitive girl, sweet and delicate — it’s one of the things he likes the most about you. as much as he hates seeing you upset, he does love being your knight in shining armor. “what do you mean going wrong? what’s going wrong, princess?”
you finally take a deep breath, wet eyelashes fluttering. it really is everything. you offered to plan a surprise birthday party for one of your friends at the country club, but now that you also have to start organizing your plans for midsummers, you don’t know when you’re going to organize it — and soon enough, tourist season is going to make work at the golf club impossible. the icing on top is that rafe has been busy all day, barely even texting you between meetings, and you really missed him.
all of it comes out in a jumbled string of sobs until you finish with a deep sigh, lip still wobbling as your watery puppy-dog eyes bore into his. “alright.” rafe starts, letting go of you now that you’ve settled a little. “tell you what, i’ll help you out with the shit for midsummers. we can head out to the mainland tomorrow and get you a nice dress, yeah?” he pauses to make sure you’re following, and you nod with a sniffle — already feeling a little better with a promised shopping trip. “and, baby — i know you can handle a little party planning. n’if you need me to, i got no problem pulling a few strings to get you a nice reservation, okay, but for now — you’ve gotta relax. go take a nice bath and wait for me, alright? i have to take this.” rafe pulls his phone from his pocket again, the screen lighting up with the call still on hold. he brings his free hand up to wipe your remaining tears, followed by a gentle kiss pressed to your forehead. “you’re alright, princess — i’ll be right there.”
the whole ordeal has your head spinning, one second you’re flying off the handle with anxiety and now you feel light as a feather. but that’s why you came to tannyhill in the first place, knowing rafe would know just what to do to fix your terrible mood.

⚠ — Phone sex.
➥ You’re on a business trip for the weekend, but those two days seem to be taking forever for Minho.
Tumblr media
It was company retreat season again. Or commonly known as hell on earth.
Yeah, it was nice to strengthen the sense of loyalty and commitment and whatever, but an entire day of workshops, seminars, round tables didn’t exactly mean a carnival, no offense. You would much rather be home, curling up under blankets and watching trash reality shows with your boyfriend instead.
You checked your phone on your way to the lunch area, and noticed a few missed calls and a couple of texts from Minho waiting on your screen.
❥ Cat dude Wyd? Miss u I’m so lonely Send nudes
You couldn’t help loudly snorting at his very straightforward request and quickly typed back a reply.
You Stop being so romantic or I’ll marry your fucking face off <33333 You’re gonna have to wait until the end of the day
As if he was waiting by the phone, he called right away. As you were cornered by a director right at that moment, you rejected the call, and for Minho it automatically meant ‘Blow up her phone’.
❥ Cat dude I know where you’re at Pick up Or I’m coming over to fuck you I’m serious Pick up the phone!!!!
It was an exchange that barely lasted five minutes, but seeing the string of texts invading your storage, you actually burst out laughing. You answered the call that arrived right at that moment, but the cheery tone of your voice was not welcome by Minho at all.
“What’s so funny about wanting to blow your back out?”
“It’s not that,” you subdued your laughter into faint chuckles, “The threat caught me off guard a little.”
“God, how long is this retreat hell gonna take?” he whined, completely annoyed.
“You know I’d much rather be there, but I gotta adult sometimes to sponsor your pudding addiction,” you confessed, “What’s up with the sudden peak in horniness?”
“I was gonna take a nap,” he started explaining himself, “But I made the mistake of spraying your perfume on my pillow to feel you with me, and now I have a problem.”
“Because of some perfume?” you questioned, utterly dumbfounded.
“No one told you to smell this erotic.”
“What’s so erotic about powder notes?”
“It raids the room when I make you sweat,” Minho sighed long and deep, “That’s what us having sex smells like to me.”
You felt a tingling sensation between your legs. Your clit was buzzing as if you were downing drinks back to back. Unbeknownst to you, you found yourself turning around and heading to the elevators instead of the lunch line.
“And you couldn’t try watching porn, I guess,” you quipped into the receiver.
“I tried! None of these girls can do what you can do to me.”
“What am I doing to you?”
“It hits different when your own girl gets nasty for you,” his voice turned several notes deeper all of a sudden, “Take care of me, baby. Please.”
You were gone for less than twenty four hours, but it was the awareness of you being in another city that distorted Minho’s perception. The time started flowing slower, and hours were dragging on into days. Obviously he wasn’t going to tell you that he was burning alive with how much he missed you already. Cue the lame excuse of ‘I’m so horny’ instead.
It was actually quite endearing when you thought about it.
“What are you doing right now?” you asked in a voice that also changed octaves. His favorite. Threatening to get desperate quite soon.
“I’m in our bed,” he exhaled contently, “Your sleep shirt is on my face.”
“Yeah?”
“I’m getting you one of these that says Minho parking only.”
You inadvertently chuckled and swiped the keycard on your door.
“Are you naked?”
“When the fuck did I get into these sheets with a piece of fabric on me?” he retorted like the brazen know-it-all he was, “You know I’m a bedroom nudist.”
You hastily removed your clothes to be on equal grounds with him and laid down on the comfortable mattress, wishing he was right here with you to kiss all over.
“Are you touching yourself, baby?” you started softly caressing your pussy.
“Yes,” he almost whispered into your ear, “I’m imagining I’m there with you right now.”
“What are we doing?”
“I’m just between your legs under a table, eating your pussy the whole day and making you cum over and over again.”
Wet. Instantly. Minho always had this effect on you—he would form one sentence, but it would be just the right thing to say to have you throw yourself at him.
“What if I pass out?”
“Wouldn’t it be fucking amazing to come to your senses in my mouth again?”
“It really would,” you closed your eyes and started rubbing your clit with your slippery fingers, “I miss waking up to your body weight on me.”
“And I miss fucking you awake,” his needy growl reverberated throughout your body, “I miss showering you with cum first thing in the morning.”
“Are your hands doing a better job than my mouth?”
“Never. I feel empty when you’re not the one milking me.”
“How hard are you right now?”
“Rock hard, baby. Perfect for you to sit on.”
“Spit on your hand. Squeeze your cock tight for me,” you slipped two fingers inside your throbbing cunt, “Feel me sit on you.”
You listened to the love of your life moaning, pleasuring himself to the ghost of you for some time, complete music to your ears. Behind your eyelids, it really felt like he was in that room with you, touching himself right next to you, deprived, needy, desperate for your attention, and it was adding tanks of fuel to the fire he set on your body.
“Just listening to your voice gets me so fucking wet,” you panted breathily, “You could just talk to me and I would cum untouched.”
“We gotta try that sometime,” Minho chuckled on the other end of the line, “If I can keep my hands off of you.”
“Which is never.”
“Yeah, forget I said that,” he instantly caved, “Are you fingering yourself?
“Yes.”
“How many fingers?”
“Two.”
“I need all four,” he quickly demanded, his breathing getting a bit more labored with each second, “Shove it in your soaked hole for me. Stretch it good.”
You didn’t even think twice. You didn’t think if it would hurt or not. You just did as your man told you, trying to feel his fullness inside you as much as you could. You were missing him even more with each sentence he uttered.
“Two days without getting fucked and you have no idea how tight it is,” you whimpered, “You want me to taste myself?”
“Oh, fuck yeah,” he eagerly responded, “Tell me how thick your cream is.”
“Very,” you informed him with a hysterical laugh, “You would immediately blow feeling this on your tip.”
Minho’s grunts in your ear were pure heaven as you loudly licked all over your fingers, making obscenely wet sounds for him like his personal ASMR.
“My pretty princess slurping on herself for me to listen to,” he contently chortled, “Don’t stop now. I wanna shoot my load hearing you cum.”
“All over yourself?” you snickered, “Don’t cum too much when I’m not there to lick you clean.”
“No, all over your panties,” he corrected your gravely mistaken assumption, “Your black lace was in the laundry basket.”
“Isn’t that the one you ruined on my birthday?”
“The very one.”
“You nasty son of a bitch. I fucking love you,” you moaned into the phone and picked up your pace even more, “Shit, I’m so close.”
“Deeper, baby.”
“Minho…”
“Go deeper for me. Hit that spot I love so much.”
“Minho… Minho, please… Fuck, I’m cumming!”
“Baby, I love you.”
You arched on the bed and came all over your fingers, imagining how his cum spurted out of his cock in thick strings to land on your body like warm raindrops. Minho kept moaning your name over and over again like a mantra until it reached an orgasmic tune, then receded like a fadeout to an upbeat song. Silence was all you shared as your urges erased themselves from your body and left you with the soft glow of satisfaction.
“I love you, Min,” you smiled as you uttered the words, hoping he could see you do exactly that when he closed his eyes, “We’ll talk in the evening, okay?”
“Baby?”
“Hm?”
Minho took a brief pause to preface his final words before hanging up. His voice was tainted with something that made you want to sob really hard for some reason.
“Just come home already.”

Strangers
Accidentally posted this one first. Oh Well. I'm working on Notice Me.
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Reader
Summary: Steve from school is completely different than Steve in the back of his car at 12 in the morning. Why is it that he only talks to you when he wants something from you?
Warnings: asshole!steve, cursing, idk if there's anything else.
I tried to make this as non-specific as possible. If I happened to specify anything, please let me know and I'll fix it.
*Not Proof Read*
Based on Strangers by Kenya Grace.

" I like being here with you. " Steve's voice is soft. He gently brushes a strand of my hair out of my face, his eyes staring into mine.
I smile at him. " I like being here with you too. "
His eyes shimmer in the glimmering moonlight. His lips curl into a smile, his teeth barely peeking through.
We don't say anything else. Instead we both stare up at the sky, enjoying each other's presence.
The air is cold but I don't mind. Steve's close body helps to keep me warm. It's moments like these I love. The world feels so safe and peaceful. No stress. No anxiety. Just us and the stars.
Steve gently draws circles onto the back of my hand. His touch is faint and tender but it leaves a patch of heat behind its path. He has that effect.
I wonder what he's thinking. When he looks at me, what does he see?
" I should get you home. Don't want you to break curfew. " Steve breaks the silence. He gently pulls my hand up to his lips before leaving a soft brief kiss on my knuckles. It's so light I can hardly tell he touched me.
Steve stands up but doesn't let go of my hand. Immediately, I miss his warmth and the smell of wood mixed with aftershave that always follows him.
Steve helps me stand up before finally letting go of my hand to pick up the blanket we were on. We make our way back to Steve's car, listening to the faint cricket noises as we step off of the field we're on.
When we get into his car Steve asks me about my day. He always checks in about my day on our way back to my house. It's sweet.
The night is over before I'd like it to be. Soon Steve is pulling onto my street and eventually stopping at the curb by my house.
It's about right now when I begin to wish the trip to my house was longer.
" Here we are. " Steve says while looking over at me. " I'll see you tomorrow? " His eyes are hopeful.
I smile. " Of course. Bye Stevie. " I open my door.
" Wait. " Steve calls, gently grabbing my arm. His other hand gently cups my cheek and brings me towards him. His eyes flicker down to my lips before making their way back up to my eyes. His breath is warm on my skin, the faint smell of peppermint lingering on his breath. He slowly leans down and his warm, soft lips meet mine.
His kiss sends shivers down my spine. Warm butterflies erupt in my stomach. I gently run my hand through Steve's already slightly messed up hair.
His lips feel desperate and hungry. His hand slides around to the back of my neck as he gently cups my head.
I want to stay like this forever.
Unfortunately, we can't. We both break away, breathless and flushed.
The cold air from my open door floods my heated skin.
A small smile breaks onto Steve's face. " Goodnight, baby. "
" Goodnight. "
Steve watches as I make my way into my house, ensuring I get inside safely. I lean against the closed front door with my ear against it. The sound of Steve's car fades away, muffled by the wood.
Until tomorrow.

" Eddie stop scaring children. " I roll my eyes at the older boy who's mid lunge at a group of freshman.
His hands are up high, fingers spread out to look like claws. His lips are twisted into an exaggerated grin.
One of the underclassmen let's out a started yelp before dodging behind their friends. The group of freshmen moves away from us, curses and middle fingers flying towards Eddie who returns the gesture.
Eddie let's out a loud laugh as he rushes to catch up with me. " Somebody's gotta humble those fuckers. "
We stop at my locker. " What'd they even do? " I ask while spinning my combo into the lock.
Eddie leans against one of the lockers near mine. " They made fun of the club's shirt design. " He gestures to his chest where the design is currently located. " Dustin spent hours making this. That little shrimp put his heart and soul into this thing. How dare they shit on it. " Eddie's words are frustrated.
" I'm sorry, Ed. " I sigh sympathetically while setting my stuff inside my locker.
" I'm just hoping Dustin doesn't catch wind of what they're saying. " Eddie replies honestly. He crosses his arms over his chest, his eyes wandering to the boy who's chatting with his friends at the end of the hall. " Little dude's already having a tough enough time dealing with the outrageous amounts of homework they're piling on him, he doesn't need to be worrying about making a new design too. "
I've always admired how protective Eddie is over his friends, especially Dustin who he treats like a brother. He will always stand up for them, no matter how stupid it makes him look.
" There's Tweedledee and Tweedledumbass. " Eddie nods to someone behind me.
I look over to see Steve walking down the hall with his group of friends surrounding him. His laugh sends butterflies soaring around my stomach.
Tommy sticks his leg out partially, causing a passing boy to trip and nearly drop his books. This sends Tommy and Carol into a bout of laughter.
" What an ass. " Eddie mutters. " Carol and Steve are no better. "
" Eddie. " I sigh, a frown forming on my lips.
" What? They just stand there and let him do shit like that. They're bullies, just like him. They're shallow jerks who don't have enough brain cells to realize that other people in the world exist and not everything revolves around them. I mean, have you ever seen either of them stop Tommy or help someone he's fucked with? "
He has a point. While Steve might not be engaging in the bullying, he definitely doesn't do anything to stop it.
But he's not a horrible person. The Steve I know, the Steve who's with me almost every night, is kind and gentle. He's caring and smart. He's different.
" He's just complicated. " I defend the boy.
" Why are you defending him so much? " Eddie asks, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
Steve and his friends pass by and I manage to catch his eye. I send him a small smile.
Steve sends me a small nod, quickly returning to his conversation with Tommy.
I've given up on saying hello to him in the halls. The last time I tried he gave me a forced awkward smile and Tommy wouldn't stop questioning him on why he was talking to me.
It's just easier to not say anything and smile. He knows I'm saying hi.
" Fuck no. " Eddie blurts. " You're with him again. "
I turn my attention back to Eddie. " Ed-"
" What the fuck? He treats you like shit! Why the fuck would you get back together with Steve Harrington? " Eddie hisses. He's never been the biggest fan of Steve. Actually, he's one of his biggest haters. When he accidentally found out Steve and I were hanging out, he lectured me for an hour on why I shouldn't date someone like Steve.
Like I said, he's protective over his friends.
I slap a hand over Eddie's mouth, looking around the make sure no one's paying attention. " Shut the fuck up, Eddie! Someone could hear you! " I let go of his face and drag him towards one of the empty classrooms. I close the door behind us.
" What the fuck are you thinking? Steve of all people? "
Anger bubbles in my chest. He thinks he knows Steve. He doesn't. Steve isn't as bad as he thinks. " You don't know him like I do, Eddie! Stop pretending you to! He's sweet and kind and he gives a shit about me. "
Eddie scoffs. " He's trying to get in your pants. Why else would he be forcing you to keep your shit a secret? Really, think about it. Have you two ever actually gone out together? Have you been seen together? " Eddie's eyes are narrow with anger. " He is using you and you refuse to see it. He barely even acknowledges you in the halls. "
" I'm a big girl, Eddie. Look, I appreciate your concern but I am going to do what I want to do. This is my life and I know what I'm doing. I don't need you to protect me from this. "
Hurt flashes across Eddie's features. " You know what, fine. " He walks towards the door and grabs the handle. " I know deep down you know he's using you and you're just too afraid to admit it. Do what you want but don't say I didn't warn you when he breaks your heart. " With that Eddie leaves, not bothering to shut the door behind him. I watch as he disappears in the crowd of students.
A sinking feeling fills my stomach. Deep down I know he's right.
But if I admit that, then I have to end things with Steve and I don't know if I'm ready to do that.
♤♤♤♤♤♤
Steve has never taken me on a date in public. It's always a late night picnic in the park or a pool date at his house.
It didn't use go bug me. I was just happy to be with him. Happy to get to know the real Steve.
But ever since my conversation with Eddie a few days ago I've started to notice the things he pointed out.
Eddie's still mad at me. He's back to talking to me but it's superficial and short. Not like how it used to be.
The ride back to my house is quiet and honestly I'm thankful for that. I need to think.
Why does Steve only want to hang out after dark. Is he embarrassed of me? Why is he so open when we're alone but so distant when we're at school?
Steve pulls to a stop. " I'll see you tomorrow? " He asks like usual.
The moon lights up his face, casting a beautiful glow over his features. A loose strand of his now messy hair lays gently against his forehead. His eyes are big and bright.
He looks so good.
" Steve, " Am I really doing this? " I actually need to talk to you. "
Confusion flashes over his face. His smile fades slightly. He picks up my hand and gently begins to draw invisible shapes on my palm. " Sure. Is everything alright? "
Here we go.
" Actually no. "
Steve tenses.
" This has been bugging me for a little bit so I'd figure I'd ask. " I take a small deep breath. " Why are we doing this? "
Relief floods Steve's face and he let's out a small nervous chuckle. " What do you mean. I like you and you like me so naturally we hang out. "
I shake my head and pull my hand away from the boy. " That's not what I mean. Why are we doing this in secret? Why won't you say hi to me in the halls? "
Steve's smile fades. " What? " He obviously wasn't expecting this.
" Why do you treat me so differently at night than you do during the day? "
My heart is pounding. I'm afraid to hear his answer.
Steve sighs. " Because...Because I thought you liked hanging out at night. "
" I do, Steve. I really do. But the problem is you don't even acknowledge me at school? I'm confused what the fuck is going on between us. " Anger bubbles in my chest.
" It's just what we've always done. " I can tell Steve's beginning to get a frustrated.
" That's not good enough. "
" I don't know what the fuck you want me to say! "
" I want the truth, Steve! I just want the truth. " I answer honestly. " I'm confused about us and- "
" I'm embarrassed of you! " Steve blurts.
My heart drops. " What? "
Steve's eyes widen. " Fuck! I didn't mean to say it like that. "
" Then how did you mean to say it, Steve? "
" I-Look, I really like you, Y/N, but we don't...run in the same circles. " Steve states slowly.
" So? "
Steve lets out a sigh. " You...I hang out with people like Tommy and Carol. You don't. It just...if we went public it would...complicate things. "
I'm not good enough for him. He's basically saying I'm not popular enough for him. What the fuck.
" Because I'm not popular and you are. " I scoff, shaking my head. " You know, you act like a dick at school and some part of me thought that deep down there was no way you were actually like that. I was wrong. You're an asshole, you know that? I never realized you were so shallow. You are just like Tommy and Carol. "
Steve's eyes turn dark. " I am not like like Tommy. "
" You're right. You're not. You're worse. At least Tommy's upfront about being an asshole and isn't tricking people into thinking he actually gives a shit about them. "
I feel like crying. I'm so angry right now.
" What the fuck do you expect? You hang out with people like Eddie Munson and his little band of rejects! " I've never seen Steve this angry before. " This was a fucking mistake. We never should've started doing this. "
That hurt. His last sentence sends a blow to my heart, officially shattering it into pieces.
For a moment I'm silent, trying not to cry. Suddenly this car I've grown to love feels suffocating. Memories of our times in the back seat or on the hood watching the stars fill my mind. What was the fucking point of all of this for him?
" You know, Eddie may be a 'freak', but at least he doesn't give a fuck what other people think. He doesn't care if others see us together. His whole life isn't a popularity contest. " I whisper. " You're right Steve, this was a mistake. Don't talk to me again. Whatever the fuck this is ends now. " With that, get out of his car, not bothering to look back when I make it inside.
Unlike every other night, Steve's dropped me off, I don't wait by the door to listen to him drive away. Instead, I head upstairs debating whether to call the guy I know I can rely on.
He's mad at me though.
But he still cares.
" Hello? " Eddie's groggy voice mumbles through my telephone.
" Eddie. " I swallow harshly. " I'm sorry. " I try not to let the tightness in my throat prevent me from talking. " I should've listened to you. "
Eddie sighs, sounding more awake than he was moments ago. " What happened? "
" I ended it. You were right. He's embarrassed of me. He was fucking hiding me to protect his ego. "
" I'm sorry, kid. " Eddie's tone is sympathetic. " He's a dick. You deserve better than to be treated like that. You deserve someone who knows you're worth. Someone who's not afraid to be with you. You'll find that person someday. "
" I don't know, Ed. I miss him. " It feels so stupid it's only been a few minutes, but I do miss him. " But I'm also so fucking angry. He's so shallow. I'm so mad at myself for getting myself into this situation. "
" You fell in love. You can't choose who or when you fall in love. Unfortunately, you fell for the wrong guy. You'll get over this, kiddo. You just need to keep moving forward. "
I lay down on my bed, staring up at the poster on my ceiling. It's a poster Steve gave me on my birthday, one from one of my favorite bands.
I don't know where I'd be without Eddie. He's different than how other people expect him to be. He's always looking out for the people around him.
" Eddie? " I whisper after a moment of silence.
" Yeah? " He responds back, equally as quiet.
" Thank you. "
I might not have Steve anymore but I'll always have my friends, and that's the most important thing to me.

Blackjack au. (I think it's called that? Lucifer x Lillith x Alastor) ft baby Charlie.
When Charlie was young she was an escape artist. No matter what Lillith did she managed to escape. It continously freaked Lillith out. One time Lillith was taking Charlie for a walk in hopes it would calm her down a little nothing too major just a pre cleaned area of pride city. Charlie of course immediately disappears as soon as Lillith looks away for .2 seconds.
Meanwhile Recently dead currently hunting Alastor runs into Charlie. Pretty much literally. Now he doesn't care for children perse but he won't hurt a child. This is the first child he's seen in hell and it's fascinating. He manages to get her name and chat with her a bit when Lillith runs around the corner looking for Charlie.
Lillith: charlie!!!! Oh thank everything! Don't you do that again!
Charlie: sorry mommy.
Lillith: and who are you?!
Alastor: Alastor pleasure to be meeting you quite the pleasure. Little Charlotte over here is simply a doll. Very entertaining hahaha.
So Lillith is suspicious but leaves after thanking alastor through gritted teeth gotta set a good example after all. This was a one off thing. Or so she thought.
It happens 3 more times before Lillith realizes that Alastor is A. Newly dead and B. Has no idea who she or Charlie is. Only then did she give Alastor the name Lily close enough to her real name but far enough away to keep up the facade.
This continues happening. No matter what when Charlie disappears outside Alastor finds her. Lillith starts to relax a little around Al because of this and Charlie absolutely adores her deer friend.
What changes things is when Charlie was kidnapped. One of the Sovereign Overlords terrified of Alastor going after them conducts a plan to kidnap Charlie to force the rulers into a deal. Alastor of course finds Charlie first. He is pissed. He doesn't like bullies on a good day but Charlie and Lily. Have become sort of important to him. That Overlord was shown no mercy. Though Alastor couldn't be there in person for The Show. After all Lily is probably pulling her hair out in worry and The Show is not suitable for children.
Now Alastor is no idiot he kind of figured out who Charlie and Lily where a while ago but didn't really care. So he immediately goes to the palace to a frantic Lillith and 30 imps running around in a panic.
Lillith: CHARLIE!!!! Your ok!!!!
Alastor: yes yes not a hair out of place! Can't say the same about that Overlord haha.
Lillith: Thank you Alastor.
This eventually leads to Alastor being Charlie's nanny/guard/compass since Lillith really needs help and Lucifer is unfortunately really far deep into a depressive episode.
(I have more but this is getting a bit long :3)

დ︎ “too purty..” — elvis x fem! reader დ︎
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
note: part two of “can’t sleep?” / warnings: MDNI, p in v sex, no protection,  legal age gap (19 - 42) , elvis calls reader “lil girl”, oral f receiving, elvis takes readers virginity, slight crying during sex, idk what else tbh, mediocre smut, i actually tried having a plot, buildup. / summary: the night before elvis had "taken care"of you in hopes to help you sleep, but he’s not done yet, he wants to take your virginity.
Tumblr media
You couldn't sleep. After tip-toeing back to Lisa-Marie’s room, shamefully checking if she was awake, you laid back down on the makeshift bed, which wasn't any more comfortable than it was before. Your mind was racing, what would the morning be like? Would Elvis pretend it never happened? What if Lisa-Marie found out? You rolled over, and closed your eyes, trying to force yourself to sleep.
Soon enough, soft rays of sunlight pooled into the room. You could hear Lisa-Marie downstairs, laughing about something. Sleepily raising up you rubbed your eyes then sighed softly. You really should get up, you thought to yourself before doing so. Rummaging through your bag of clothes you pulled out a light blue dress with long mesh sleeves. Quickly changing and fixing your hair you headed downstairs, feeling your heart begin to race as you heard Elvis’s voice. Stopping on the steps you debated going back up in the room. “There you are!” Lisa-Marie exclaimed, causing you to jump. “I was wondering when you’d get up!” She peered from the doorway, nervously you smiled. “I had trouble sleepin–” You explained, fiddling nervously with your hands as you slowly continued down the steps. “Well come eat breakfast!” Lisa-Marie smiled and disappeared back into the kitchen.
As you walked in you saw Elvis sitting in one of the chairs at the table, cigar in hand, and smiling as Lisa-Marie plated slightly malformed pancakes and slightly burnt bacon. Approaching the table to sit down Elvis’s gaze moved over to you. “Well, good morning sleepin' beauty.” He teased, and you smiled nervously. You sat down across from Elvis, fiddling with your hands still, your gaze lowered to the table. “Here!” Lisa-Marie said, placing plates in front of both you and Elvis. Looking up at her you noticed she was wearing her ‘going out’ dress. “Ain’t you gonna eat?” Elvis asked her, putting out the cigar and picking up his fork. “Oh no! I’m not hungry right now- besides, I gotta run to town.” Lisa said, grabbing her bag off the counter. “What- Why?” You asked quickly. “Ah- well, ya know...I just wanna pick up a few things..” Lisa-Marie said, her face growing red a bit. She was going to meet her little boyfriend, which meant she would be gone for a good while. Elvis nodded as he ate, not even questioning his daughter's obvious lie. You wanted to ask her to stay home, or at least if you could go with her. “Alright Yisa..be safe.” He said and Lisa-Marie smiled, “Thank ya!” She exclaimed heading out the door leaving you and Elvis alone at the breakfast table.
The tension was undeniably thick, taking small glances at Elvis as you took small bites of bacon you couldn’t help but notice his nonchalant nature, as if nothing had happened before. Elvis finished off the last of his pancakes, washing it down with a swig of his coffee. The silence between him and you was palpable. He glanced over at you, a sly smirk forming on his face. “You look mighty nervous this mornin',” he began, leaning back in his chair. "Is there somethin' on your mind, sweetheart?" You bit your lip, hesitating for a moment then finally looked up at him.  "Well...last night- that was my first time ever doing anything like that and I–" The words tumbled out in a rush, your cheeks flushing red with embarrassment.
Elvis chuckled, his eyes twinkling mischievously. "Well now, darlin', ain’t no reason to be embarrassed.." He smiled at you, his fingers tapping on the table. “Tell me this…did ya like it?” Elvis asked, his tone was oddly serious. Your hands shook, your heart pounding in your ears as you responded quietly, "Well…yeah.." You looked down, heat rushing to your face as you spoke the words aloud. Elvis leaned back in his chair, his smile widening. "That's what I thought," he murmured. "My, my, my...Don’t you just look so purty in that dress." Your eyes widened, the sudden change in conversation shocking you. "You think so..? you whispered, your face beginning to flush. “Course lil’ girl,” Elvis said, smiling, you couldn’t help but notice something lingering in his eyes. Elvis's smile grew wider as he continued, "You know, I've been thinking, darlin'. We got us a whole day ahead, and I reckon we could find some ways to pass the time." Your eyes met his. "Like what?" you asked. He leaned across the table, laughing slightly. "Well, how’s about I show you the Jungle Room?" he asked, tilting his head. Confused, you nodded, pushing your breakfast plate forward the both of you stood up.
Leading you to the Jungle Room, Elvis walked ahead of you in long strides. You felt timid behind him, like a small mouse. Opening the door you looked around the room. The lush green carpet matched the plants and vines scattered around the room, wooden tables, and brown fur couches and chairs adorned with wooden accents. The room was undeniably beautiful. As if sensing your amazement Elvis chuckled. “Ain’t it nice?” He asked, looking at you smiling. You nodded in response, finding yourself unable to speak. Elvis had already made his way across the room, sitting down on the couch leaving you standing in awe. “C’mere little girl, come sit down,” Elvis called. As you approached him, Elvis patted the seat next to him, a grin playing on his lips. You hesitated for a moment before sitting down, your heart pounding in your chest. The room seemed to grow warmer, and the two of you seemed much closer than before. “Now, tell me…When do ya think Yisa will be home..?” Elvis asked, the question was innocent enough, but something told you it was all but that. “I-I’m not sure...Maybe a couple hours?” You responded, adjusting the hem of your dress. “Well, I spose’ we should find somethin’ to pass the time.” You feel his calloused fingers run along your inner thigh, a small chuckle escaping his lips. “Now, now darlin’ no reason to get all tense...Ain’t the first time.”
His hand slowly begins to knead your thigh, looking up at him you notice his little smirk. Leaning in as he kisses you, you could feel the warmth of his breath against your skin. His hand continued to massage your thigh, his fingers gently probing deeper. You could feel the familiar tension building within you, a mix of excitement and anxiety. The kiss deepened, his tongue exploring your mouth, the feeling was foreign. You tried to follow in his footsteps, moving your tongue carefully with his. You moaned softly into the kiss, your body trembling. His other hand moved to your waist, pulling you closer to him. You could feel his erection pressing against your thigh, causing you to pull away. “E-Elvis..” You muttered breathlessly. His hand moved from your thigh to your waist, his fingers trailing down your spine. You shivered at the sensation, your body yearning for more. his eyes locked onto yours, "You gonna let me take ya, lil’ girl? " he asked, his voice hoarse. You nodded, your heart pounding in your chest. "Yes," you whispered, your voice barely audible. His eyes gleamed with approval, his hands moving up your dress. Lifting it up and taking it off, you heard his tongue click at the sight of your white lacy panties and bra. Elvis's hands rubbed across your folds, feeling your wetness grow. "Mmm, doll..," he whispered, his breath warm against your ear. He began to stroke your clit gently through your panties, his fingers massaging the bundle of nerves. "Feel familiar?" He teased, his voice low. You whimpered in response, your body trembling.  He continued, his fingers darting in and out of you, your wetness coating his digits. "You're so tight, lil’ one. But I’ll stretch you out, ain't that right? " He questioned, his voice dripping with lust. You nodded, your mind hazy with pleasure. He leaned in, whispering, "I'm gonna take these off, baby." His voice was low, husky, and filled with desire. You blushed, nodding, your heart pounding. He finally slid your panties off of you, exposing your swollen cunt. "Mmm," he hummed, admiring the sight before him. His hands roamed your body, rubbing along your sides and finally stopping at your bra. Unbuckling it, he chuckled. “Look at them..” Elvis said, cupping one in his hands. You couldn't help but feel much more vulnerable. After all, you were completely naked while Elvis sat completely clothed, his cock hard against his leg. “E-Elvis..” You muttered, looking at him with slight frustration. “Now, now darlin’ I'm getting to it.” He said, unbuttoning his already slightly unbuttoned shirt. Whimpering at the sight of his body you felt so needy, just the sight of him soaked your thighs. Once in his boxers he loomed over you as you laid down on the couch. You watched him smirk as he studied your face. Pulling down his boxers his cock sprung out, swollen and leaking copious amounts of precum. Elvis must’ve noticed your surprise, letting out a small chuckle. “Think you can take it?” He teased, stroking it a few times in his hand.
"Don't worry, baby, I'll ease you in." Elvis bent down, facing your puffy cunt, A shiver ran through your body, arching your back into his touch. "You're going to like this, trust me." With that, Elvis leaned in, running his tongue along your slit. You gasped, your hips bucking off the couch. Elvis chuckled, the vibration ringing against your cunt. His tongue darted in and out of your entrance as his fingers continued to work your clit, flicking and rubbing gently. You felt the tension building once again, your body trembling in anticipation. "Oh, Elvis..." you whimpered, your hands grasping onto the couch behind you. He continued to eat you out, his fingers and tongue working in harmony. You could feel your orgasm building, growing ever closer. Just as you felt yourself about to cum, Elvis pulled away, leaving you panting and wanting. "Not yet, baby girl. I want to feel you tighten around my cock." You could hardly hear him over your ragged breathing.  He positioned himself between your legs, rubbing his cock against your slick entrance. You could feel the head of his cock press against you, your breath hitched as you felt him slowly insert it. Groaning with every move Elvis bit his lip focused on the sight of your cunt struggling to take him. “Goddamn darlin’, you gotta ease up. I-It won’t fit if ya don’t..” He stuttered as you tried to relax, feeling his cock inch deeper. Covering your face in embarrassment you felt a sudden pricking feeling, causing you to cry out. “Calm down lil’ girl, it’s in now.” Elvis said, groaning.
With a deep breath, Elvis thrust into you, filling you completely. You yelped out, a little bit of tears fell from your eyes as your body tensed around him. He pulled out slightly, before pushing back in, “There you go, hunny.” He said, admiring how you squirmed beneath him. With each thrust becoming deeper than the last, you could feel every inch of him. Your body bouncing up and down as you let out whimpers of pain.  But as he continued to thrust, the discomfort began to fade, replaced by pleasure. "Fuck, you're so tight..." Elvis hissed, his pace increasing. He began to slam into you, your cries of pleasure echoing throughout the room. Each thrust made you feel so full. Blabbering mindlessly, you begged for him not to stop, his hand gripped your breast as he continued pounding into you. The room was filled with the sound of flesh smacking against flesh. "F-fuck Elvis! I'm close!" You cried out, your body writhing beneath him. You could hear him begin to growl as his thrusts became sloppy and more needy, begging for any kind of friction. “I’m gonna cum, lil’ girl,” Elvis said, through a shaky moan. “Gonna fill ya up. Gonna- Gonna..” Elvis stuttered leaning over you, his head resting above yours as warm cum coated the inside of your cunt, causing you to gasp. “E-Elvis..” You whispered breathlessly as he leaned up and pulled out of you. Closing your eyes you took deep breaths, trying to find your composure.
You felt Elvis get off the couch and heard the rustling of clothes before you turned over and looked at him. He was already almost entirely dressed, now buckling his belt. "That's it, hunny. Just breathe.." He said, his voice gentle and soothing. He grabbed a cover from one of the chairs and handed it to you before reaching a hand out to you, Elvis helped you sit up and pulled your dress back over you, fixing it in place. “You did so, so good darlin,” Elvis said, fixing your dress before admiring you. “I’m assumin’ Yisa will be back soon..” Elvis said, looking up at the door. You looked up at him, fixated on his face. “I love you.” You muttered under your breath as you pulled him into a hug. His arms quickly wrapped around you, holding you as close as possible. “You’re mine now, lil’ one.” He said, stroking your hair and kissing you softly on your forehead. “I love ya. I truly do.” He said, stepping back, his hands resting on your shoulders.
“My purty girl. All mine.”

Astarion the Musical
Today, I spent several hours creating a playlist that tells Astarion's story (a version of it) through songs. I want to share the playlist with you, along with this post as a companion to describe the context.
In my mind it plays out like a musical would- context and dialogue happening between musical numbers. I hope you enjoy.
Song explanations:
The Code: Post game Astarion introducing his story to the audience. A synopsis of his story from the POV of the person who lived through it.
"I, I went to Hell and back To find myself on track I broke the code, whoa-oh-oh Like ammonites I just gave it some time Now I found paradise I broke the code, whoa-oh-oh"
The story starts when he is attacked by the Gur and is approached by Cazador.
The Killing Moon: Cazador turns him into his spawn.
"Under blue moon I saw you So soon you'll take me Up in your arms, too late to beg you Or cancel it, though I know it must be The killing time Unwillingly mine Fate Up against your will Through the thick and thin He will wait until You give yourself to him"
Dead Arms & Dead Legs: After he has turned, coming to terms with his new undead self.
"I have been out walking with these Dead Arms & Dead Legs And the mysteries of the universe are patterned in my head The terrain becomes unbearable - too steep to stick your heel I imagine myself here again in 50 million years I run to the left... I run to the right And all my fears become a life And what is left... and who are you in the end?"
Queer: He is seducing victims and luring them to Cazador using his body and charm.
"Hey boy, take a look at me Let me dirty up your mind I'll strip away your hard veneer And see what I can find The queerest of the queer The strangest of the strange The coldest of the cool The lamest of the lame The numbest of the dumb I hate to see you here You choke behind a smile A fake behind the fear The queerest of the queer"
The Dead Come Talking: Feeling guilt about the victims he led to death. He can't seem to forget them.
"Feel the worms eating holes through my mind Like regrets that'll kill me in time Walking backwards is always a guess Distant faces burn holes in my chest, mm-mm, mm-mm Shadows floating, they're out in the hall They still haunt you long after they're gone Buried in the basement, cold cement Dead come talking, can't put them to rest"
rises the moon: Montage of his life as a slave under Cazador, time passes and his hope for an escape becomes less and less.
"Days seem sometimes as if they'll never end Sun digs its heels to taunt you But after sunlit days, one thing stays the same Rises the moon Days fade into a watercolour blur Memories swim and haunt you But look into the lake, shimmering like smoke Rises the moon"
Abbey: He is out in the city hunting, daydreaming of freedom.
"There is a light, I feel it in me But only, it seems, when the dark surrounds me There is a dream and it sleeps in me Keeps me awake in the night Crying, "Set me free" And I wake every night Crying, "Set me free" "
Kidnapped by the Nautiloid.  Nautiloid crashes.
Hand Me My Shovel, I’m Going In!: He wakes up at the crash site and is freaking out. He is in the sun, and not burnt to ash.
"This is not enough, this is not enough to prove it yet No, I need to hit the bottom This is not enough, this is not enough to prove it yet No, I need to hit the bottom Gotta get to the bottom of this Gotta get to the bottom of this Gotta get to the bottom of this"
Meet Tav.
Survival: He realizes he has an actual chance at freedom now that he met Tav.
"You won't pull ahead I'll keep up the pace And I'll reveal my strength To the whole human race Yes, I am prepared To stay alive I won't forgive, the vengeance is mine And I won't give in Because I choose to thrive Yeah, I'm gonna win!"
Biting Down: Drinks Tav’s blood for the first time. His first time drinking blood from a thinking creature and he realizes why it was kept from him. He feels alive. He feels powerful.
"Skip a hit, don't make a sound (It feels better biting down) Breathed so deep I thought I'd drown (It feels better biting down) Listen to the beats resound (It feels better biting down) It feels better biting down (It feels better biting down)"
Little White Lies: Gaining Tav’s trust, making her fall in love with him for protection.
"Would you leave me for dead, or would you come to my aid? If I don't tell you some pretty words Should it keep you coming my way I never meant to lie, but there are things we do and say to get by Little white lies, a small surprise, how big they grow in size It all starts simple enough Your present is dark because your childhood was rough So you shed your skin and you change your name in the hopes of Putting air in between you and the pain, so grab a mask Fill up a flask, slither like a snake into the mascaraed"
Terrible Thing: Seduces Tav enough for her to sleep with him.
"I know what you're doin' here Made your intentions clear Oh you, you terrible thing, you Terrible thing, you Terrible thing, you Beautiful thing Honey, you're so cold You left me on patrol Lose my self-control with you (when I'm with you) Do things I don't want to do, ooh"
Laplace’s Angel (Hurt People? Hurt People!): Feelings for Tav are growing, and the guilt of manipulating her is starting to get to him so he tries to justify his actions.
"It doesn't take a killer to murder It only takes a reason to kill We've all got evidence of innocence, it's "everything's coincidence" The difference twixt fate and free will is whether you're singing Ooh, could you take a look at me? Am I bad, am I bad, am I bad, am I really that bad? And now we're singing, ooh Whatever you think of me If you were in my shoes (yes, it's only natural!) You'd walk the same damn miles I do Oh, oh, right!"
Gilded Lily: After Tav does not force him to drink Araj’s blood. He is processing his trauma. He realizes that Tav cares for him more than anyone ever has.
"Haven't I given enough, given enough? Always the fool with the slowest heart But I know you'll take me with you We'll live in spaces between walls Every city's got a graveyard The service bought and paid for Now I'm sleeping in the backyard Passing out as night turns into day"
Against the Kitchen Floor: He confesses to Tav that he was originally manipulating her but now has genuine feelings for her. He has never known the feeling of somebody wanting him for more than his body and he doesn't know how to handle it well.
"I don't owe you my heart And I don't owe you my body But you should know that I'm sorry For being careless with you Lord knows I owe you more Than I'm pretty sure I ever could give anybody But I can't pin down what normal people want from foreign objects Bottom shelf erotic products like me So, I could hold your hand but keep you at arm's length Or hang me from a branch too high to climb and shake Less rare than scarce, less diamond than rough Unlikely to be more than just the coal you fail to crush, and I swear, I'm really trying It just don't come natural to me to think that you'd want me for me I swear, I'm really trying Oh, I'm sorry, I promise, I'm doing my best I just haven't learned how to be human as you are yet"
you should see me in a crown: They find out from Raphael what his scars on his back mean, and about the Ritual of Profane Ascension. He is fantasizing about what he would do if he managed to overtake it in private. He wants the power it would grant him.
"You should see me in a crown I'm gonna run this nothing town Watch me make 'em bow One by, one by one, one by, one by You should see me in a crown Your silence is my favorite sound Watch me make 'em bow One by, one by one, one by, one by one"
Perhaps Vampire is a Bit Strong But... : Astarion fights and confronts Cazador for the centuries of abuse he put him through.
"'Cause all you people are vampires And all your stories are stale And though you pretend to stand by us I know you're certain we'll fail I've seen your eyes as they fix on me, full of confusion Your snarl is just so condescending Try to explain that we're onto a win If the fee we are in near recoups what we're spending"
He can choose to complete the ritual in Cazador’s place, or kill him. Tav convinces him to not go through with the ritual, he kills Cazador:
What Was I Made For?: He kills Cazador and doesn’t complete the ritual expecting a sense of relief and gratification but feels nothing. He thought he would feel free without a master to rule over him, but he feels lost.
"What was I made for? Hm 'Cause I, I I don't know how to feel But I wanna try I don't know how to feel But someday I might Someday I might"
Two Coffins: He is coming to terms with Tav’s mortality. He is mourning the loss of the opportunity to have her forever by not going through with the ritual.
"Two coffins for sleep One for you one for me We'll get there eventually In the dark of our graves our bodies will decay I wish you'd never change How lucky I ever was to see The way that you smile at me Your little moon face shining bright at me One day soon there'll be nothing left of you and me Two coffins for sleep Two coffins for sleep All the things that I have yet to lose Will someday be gone soon Back into annihilation All things will fade Maybe it's better off that way I wish you'd stay with me"
Rain: For a moment, he regrets not going through with the ritual and feels a slight disdain for Tav for stopping him. This song is when he comes to realize it was the correct choice and is thanking her. He knows that he would have just become just like Cazador, and thanks to her he is breaking the cycle of abuse.
"For so long, I have waited So long that I almost became Just a stoic statue, fit for nobody And I don't wanna get in your way But I finally think I can say That the vicious cycle was over The moment you smiled at me"
My Instincts Are The Enemy: He is confiding in Tav that he wants to be with her forever, but explaining what that means for her. He is tied to the night, and she is tied to him. Is she ok with that?
"I'm paralyzed, engaged in civil war What can I do? Either way, I lose You lose, too Days are nights, and nights are unbearable What can I do? Chained to this mood You're chained to me Keep asking different questions The same answer I receive I need you more than ever To tell me what you've seen"
Sunlight: The Netherbrain is defeated and the tadpoles are gone from their minds. Without the tadpole he is now unable to withstand the sun. He is coping with the lack of sun by replacing it with Tav. From now on she is his sunlight.
"I had been lost to you, sunlight And flew like a moth to you, sunlight, oh, sunlight Oh, your love is sunlight Oh, your love is sunlight But it is sunlight All the tales the same Told before and told again A soul that's born in cold and rain Knows sunlight, sunlight, sunlight And at last can grant a name To a buried and a burning flame As love and its decisive pain Oh, my sunlight, sunlight, sunlight"

Eddie's Magical Boo Boo Healing Powers
In which Buck has a daughter named Eliza, who is really close to his best friend, Eddie.
***
They were at a BBQ at Bobby and Athena's place and Eddie was in the kitchen talking to Athena, Maddie, Karen, and Hen when he felt a tug on his pant leg. He looked down to see Buck's 3-year-old daughter Eliza pouting up at him with tears in her eyes.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Eddie gently asked as he got to her level after putting his beer down on the counter.
"Eddie, I gots hurt," Eliza sniffled and stuck out her elbow towards Eddie. "Can you make my boo boo better?"
"Aw, of course, sweetie," Eddie replied. He examined her elbow to make sure she wasn't severely hurt. He just noted the scrapes and figured she must have fallen somewhere. "Okay, you know the drill, what do we say?"
"Boo boo boo boo go away," Eliza started saying along with Eddie.
"We don't wanna see you for one more day," Eddie added. He kept his palm at about an inch distance from the scrape and pretended to heal it. "Because playtime isn't over and boo boo you're a-"
"-LOSER!" Eliza finished the sentence for him and giggled.
"Does that feel better?" Eddie asked.
Eliza nodded enthusiastically. "Mhmm!"
"Do you mind if I clean the scrape anyway and put a band-aid on it? That will make it feel even faster!" Eddie told her
"Okay," Eliza shrugged
"Athena," Eddie said looking up at her "-do you have a bandaid? And a clean cloth?"
Athena gave Eddie an amused look and nodded. "Yeah, I'll get them."
Eddie found all the women giving him an amused look but he ignored it and went back to Eliza. "Where's your dad?"
"Daddy's playing video games with Chris," Eliza replied.
Athena soon returned with the cloth and the bandaid and also gave him a small bowl of water. Eddie thanked her and very gently cleaned Eliza's scrapes.
Eliza hissed and was on the verge of tears again.
"Shhh... It's okay, sweetie. I got you," Eddie assured her. Once he finished cleaning her wound, he put the Care Bear bandaid on it. "Now it will heal faster and you won't even feel it tomorrow!"
Eliza nodded and yawned. Her bright blue eyes, which were exactly like Buck's, were filled with exhaustion.
"Do you wanna take a nap?" Eddie asked. "You can take a nap on my shoulder."
Eliza nodded and raised her arms for Eddie to pick her up. Eddie took her into his arms and stood up. She put her head on his shoulder and slowly drifted off to sleep, clutching onto his shirt.
"You're so good with her," Maddie commented. "When are you and my brother getting married again?"
"We're not even together, Maddie. Buck and I are just friends."
"Right," Karen chimed in. "Friends who are somehow raising each other's kids."
Eddie blushed at that.
"Eliza?" Buck came wandering into the kitchen calling out to his daughter. He stopped when he saw her with Eddie and smiled. "There she is."
"Yeah, she was sleepy so I let her sleep on my shoulder. I hope that's okay," Eddie told him.
"Oh, it's more than okay," Buck replied. "Hey, so I was thinking, maybe instead of eating at home this Tuesday, we can take the kids to that new arcade with the food court that opened downtown."
"Eliza doesn't like video games, though," Eddie pointed out.
"She'll love this place and if she doesn't then we can always leave and go to a different place. I'm sure Chris will love this place, though."
"We have to think of both kids, Buck," Eddie reminded him.
"Fine, how about we eat at home and then go to the movies afterward?" Buck suggested.
"I like that. But none of those action thrillers that you and Chris like so much. We need something kid-friendly for Eliza."
Buck let out a long, drawn-out sigh and nodded, "Fine. Anyway, I came to get Coke Zero for Chris and me. Gotta get back to the game."
With that, he took out the drinks from the cooler and left.
The ladies all looked at him with varying degrees of the same look. "See what we were talking about?"
"Oh my god, shut up," Eddie told them, without any of them saying a word, and blushed again.

━━━━ PRETTY LITTLE BIRDS (3)
pairing: simon “ghost” riley x reader
2.4k. you go to work and run into some familiar faces.
“Seriously?! You played darts and he drove you home — that’s it?? Not even a steamy make out sesh in the car?!”
You shrug, nibbling on another little bite of your sandwich. “Maybe he’s just a gentleman. I mean, he did walk me to the door.”
Sasha snorts. “Yeah, or maybe he really is gay.”
“A loss to women everywhere, if true,” you add absentmindedly, looking out to the guys currently occupying the track. Most are running at a good pace, but some are off to the corner stretching. The sound of gunshots barely reaches your ears here from the range.
“Well, at least Jessica will be happy that you didn’t bone him.”
You jerk your head in her direction. “So she is pissed at me?”
Sasha shrugs. “More like embarrassed. I think she could have handled the rejection a little better if five minutes later you weren’t coming from the bathroom with Simon fucking Riley and heading straight for his table.”
You gotta give her that one. Hell, roles reversed — you might have been pissed at you. “Got me there.”
You like Sasha. She’s only a few years older than you, one of the nurses here. You hit it off instantly when she learned you were a nurse before — but especially when she learned you worked the ED for most of your nursing career. She, along with most of the other nurses, now prefer to come to you for things because you get what it’s like to be in their shoes and you have a little (quite a bit) more power than they do.
“Jess is a barracks bunny. She’ll get over it soon enough.” Sasha’s eyes go wide as saucers in realization of what she just let slip. She smacks you lightly on the arm. “And don’t ever, ever, ever, repeat that.”
“Barracks bunny?!”
Sasha shushes you and looks around before half-whispering. “She gets around. And guys like Simon? Well they’re untouchables, top of the bunny list. Nobody has ever heard of him sleeping with… well anyone. I was wondering if you might be the first.”
“And you?” you ask her.
“Nah, not for me. Don’t get me wrong, there's plenty of fit men here I would sleep with. But… I don’t really think I’m cut out for it.” She waves her hand around. “I don’t wanna end up falling in love with one of them and then worst happens. No, I’ll take a nice, boring job for my next man. A mail carrier maybe?!”
A chuckle escapes you listening to Sasha. Honestly, you hadn’t been here long enough to really start thinking like that. All your patients that had been in recovery from various accidents had nothing major. You go back to nibbling on your sandwich, enjoying the nice breeze that the day has provided. It’s very much Springtime, but smells reminiscent of Summer are in the air, and they always serve to lift your spirits.
“You know, speaking of Jess,” Sasha points towards the track, “I think she’s already over it.”
You follow her finger to see a blonde in blue scrubs that is unmistakably Jessica, talking to a few of the soldiers stretching near the track. You and Sasha burst into laughter, trying to cover your giggles with your hand in order not to draw too much attention.
“Anyway, I gotta split,” Sasha stands from where she was sitting next to you, brushes off the grass from her scrub pants. “Catch you later?”
You nod up at her. “Later, Sash.”
The rest of the afternoon flies by in a blur. You have a few routine physicals to clear soldiers for active duty, two combat-related injury managements (one bullet wound and one particularly nasty stab wound), and four family medicine exams — all for kids that live near base with their parents. A couple of routine vaccinations, one surprising case of springtime influenza and one broken bone.
By the time you finally slink out of your office from updating chart after chart, the sun is already starting its descent past the horizon. The base has quieted down considerably from this afternoon, other than what seems to be an impromptu soccer game on one of the fields. Football, you remind yourself.
You’re tempted to go over and watch… you’re pretty sure Monday nights are the ones where food trucks park past the first security check point — but you're bone tired. Bed sounds good, you think.
“What’re you still doing 'ere, dove?”
A voice from behind draws you out of your reverie, startling you slightly. You turn around to see Simon, clad in dark jeans, a black zip up hoodie and balaclava, same as when you first met him. He walks over, his long legs carrying him to you in just a few steps. “You working overtime?”
A sigh releases itself from your chest. “Busy afternoon, and I wanted to finish charting before I left for the night. What about you?”
He nods to the game happening just north of the two of you. “Soap’s playing. Figured I’d grab a bite and hang around, harass him a little.”
“Soap?” you ask, brows furrowed together.
He lets out a low chortle. “Johnny.”
“You call him Soap??” A slow smile graces your face.
“You saw him at the bar. Slippery little bastard.”
You can’t help it when a belly shaking laugh escapes you. The kind that causes you to cover half your face with your hand and hope to whatever deity that you don’t snort right in front of him. Simon chuckles along with you. “You eat yet?”
You shake your head no.
“Wanna join me?”
The tension in the air is suddenly thick —or maybe it’s the lump in your throat — but you can feel it. You can’t put a name to it but there’s something on a molecular level, brewing, buzzing, building when he’s around. Something that sings to your skin, electrifying it. You never been one to believe in soulmates; how could you, with the countless divorces you witnessed as a child? But this feels… tangible, real.
You shift your weight back and forth beteeen your feet and chew on your lip. Exhaustion is hitting you like a ton of bricks. Fuck it — what's that saying? You can sleep when you’re dead?
“Only if there’s a taco truck.”
You swear he's smiling under the mask. He holds out an arm to you. “There is.”
You both get some food, and find a good place away from the main crowd of spectators to sit down and eat. Simon takes off his sweatshirt and lays it on the grass, his broad arms looking like they’re about to pop out of the hem of his gray t-shirt. You take notice of the tattoo sleeve he has on one arm. “Sit,” he directs, pointing to his sweatshirt.
“Oh, I can sit on the grass…” you start to counter.
“Sweetheart,” he says a little sternly, almost like he’s reprimanding you. “Sit.”
You can’t help it when you stick a fraction of your tongue out at him playfully and sit on his sweatshirt. After taking the first bite of your taco you unintentionally let out a moan. “Fantastic.”
Simon has his mask rolled up to his nose and is stifiling a smile when you look over at him. You swear the speed in which he inhales his tacos is superhuman. He carefully rolls the mask down while you still have half of your food left.
A comfortable silence settles around the two of you. The game is rowdy, and you would expect nothing less. You easily pick Johnny out of the group of men playing — he’s on skins, not shirts — and keep an eye on him as you finish up your food. Once you’re done, you ball up your trash in stick it in the little baggie.
You pull out two sticks of gum and hand one to Simon, pointing at his twitching fingers. “A new oral fixation might help you if you’re trying to quit.”
His head whips in your direction. You blush, unsure if you said something wrong. He studies you a moment longer before clearing his throat and slowly taking the gum from your outstretched hand. He doesn’t speak until it’s in his mouth and the mask is rolled back down once again.
“How’d ya know?”
You give him a sheepish smile. “You mean, besides that it’s in your chart?” You pause, looking back over the game. “My dad was a smoker, rolled his own cigs and everything. I know the signs.”
He clears his throat again, shifting in his seat on the ground. “H..Have any suggestions?”
“Well, usually nicotine gum is better than this. But I’ve known things like lollipops, tic tacs or mints can work for some people. You just have to find the right thing for you that occupies your mouth.”
Simon shifts again, his stare burning a hole through you. You’re about to break the silence with something when Johnny runs over to you, absolutely drenched with sweat. “Glad to see parta me fanclub could make it!”
That serves to get a chuckle out of you. “Fanclub? Oh no, actually I’m here for him.” You point to a random guy in a shirt.
Johnny clutches his chest in an exaggerated fashion, and pretends to start sinking to the ground. “Breaking my wee heart, lass. Least I got LT.”
“Actually Johnny, I’m here for him too.”
Simon going along with your bit really makes you laugh, and you clutch your stomach and almost fall backwards at the face Johnny makes at the two of you. Simon splays his hand across your back to keep you upright until your giggles subside.
Johnny is getting called back to the field by someone. He points at the two of you while he jogs backwards. “This isn’t over!” he jokes.
“You guys always been close?” you ask after Johnny’s well out of earshot, peering up at him. He’s even tall just sitting next to you.
“Pretty much… he’s a good kid,” Simon settles on.
“Seems like it.”
Simon taps you lightly on the arm. “Just don’t tell him I said so, or I’ll never hear the bloody end of it.”
You smile at him. “Deal.”
It’s dusk now, and with it comes a slight chill in the air. Your eyelids are dangerously droopy as you try to keep focus on the game. You and Simon keep up a nice little chat, but neither of you are afraid to let a little silence settle in between you either.
“So…” he starts. “Any plans for the weekend?”
You purse your lips, eyes still tracking the ball and Johnny. “No, hadn’t thought about it yet. You?”
Simon takes a breath. It’s now or never. “Yeah, got a wedding on Saturday.”
“Oh! That’s fun! I love weddings,” you say absentmindedly.
“Yeah… they’re alright. I actually… erm… don't have a plus one yet… and I’m in the wedding party so…”
You stop watching the game and turn to look at him, wetting your lips with the tip of your tongue. “You need a date?” You shyly smile.
“Yeah… do you… would you like to come? As my… my date?”
You pull your bottom lip between your teeth. “Okay. I'll be your date, Simon.”
“Lovely. Thank you, dove.”
•·················•·················•
Simon’s not a good man, despite the fact that he’s somehow led you to believe otherwise.
He tells himself the listening device he put in the trees at 0500 this morning was well intentioned. For your safety. Only to be able to listen in if any creeps tried to approach you on your lunch break. But now he’s been listening to you and your coworker chat since she sat down 20 minutes ago.
Simon knows a good man wouldn’t do that.
He also knows a good man wouldn’t camp out near your office to see when you leave for the day. To be fair, he had meetings with Price later this afternoon and Johnny did push him to bring you as his plus one for the wedding. He wanted to give you a fair heads up since it was this Saturday. What if he’d asked you later in the week and you’d decided to go out of town?
He wasn’t sure if you’d accept his offer to hang out after you were done working. Hell, he was just going to leave if you didn’t — he loves Johnny like a brother but he’s got better things to do than watch the bloody base footie game. Things to prepare.
“A new oral fixation might help you if you’re trying to quit.”
He’s instantly hardening hearing you say that, mind running a thousand miles an hour. Oh, he would love a new oral fixation, and he definitely has one in mind. He’s been craving a cig since he sat down but he figured you probably wouldn’t be into it, and the last thing he would want to do is turn you off of him.
He shifts how he’s sitting, trying to not make it obvious what he’s thinking. If you looked down, you would know. Lucky for him you don’t, but he knows that his lack of response is making you feel like you did something wrong. So he takes the gum.
“You just have to find the right thing for you that occupies your mouth.”
Fuckin’ hell love. Now he can’t think straight. How is he supposed to just sit here with you like normal when you say these things to him? He’s painfully hard now. His skin is on fire under the mask.
He sees his saving grace when Johnny starts running over to the two of you. Your playful banter with him helps take his mind off it… a little.
He’s nervous. So fucking nervous. It’s a new emotion for him — he’s always so confident, so sure. Has never cared enough to be worried about the sting of rejection before. You can’t say no to him, because he’s not sure he’ll recover.
And… you don’t. You don't say no. Even though he fumbles a bit with the ask. Even though he can barely get the words out himself. You say okay. You say you’ll be his date.
“You just have to find the right thing for you that occupies your mouth.”
I think I already have, little dove.

✧˖° — windbreaker men

✧˖° — this is a story not one shot.
The next day, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened. The events of yesterday were driving me crazy, and I wanted to scream in my room. The Sabbath Crew kept popping into my mind—Wooin, Joker, and especially Jay from Hummingbird. I bit my finger while staring at the blackboard. Our physics teacher was checking our assignments. I did Dom’s assignment as promised, and I also did Jay’s. I ignored his suggestion to work on it together. There was no way I was doing that. Besides, I could handle it on my own.
But when I handed Jay his assignment, he seemed annoyed. Was he really mad at me, or was that just his usual expression?
"Is this real?" Our teacher looked up in surprise. "Dom, Jay, and Demitra got the highest scores on the assignment," he announced to the class. "All three of them tied for the highest score."
Dom’s jaw dropped as he stared at me, but I kept looking out the window. Honestly, the assignment was tough, but I managed to ace it.
"Come on, Sir! Can't you believe I have some hidden genius too?" Dom shouted, making everyone laugh.
"Well, I just can't believe anyone matched Jay's score. He always gets the highest in our class." The teacher looked at me. "It seems our new student is competing with him. This is very exciting." He grinned.
Jay kept his usual cold expression, staring at his notebook. I shrugged and started packing my things since the teacher was leaving and it was time to go home. Our classmates started making noise again as soon as the teacher left. It was like a zoo with all the ruckus they were causing. I never expected Korean students to be this loud.
I froze when I saw someone standing in front of my desk. It was Dom...
"Can we talk to you?" he asked with a sweet smile plastered on his face.
"Who's 'we'?" I replied, then noticed Jay, Mia, and Yuna also standing up.
"We saw how you ride a bike, and I gotta admit, you're really good," Dom said, stroking his chin as if deep in thought. "I don't know what happened yesterday that made Jay win when it was obvious you should have."
"Maybe Jay's just better than her," Yuna interjected, giving me a dirty look.
I smiled sarcastically. "I still don't see why you're all here in front of me."
"Join us." We all turned to Jay. His eyes were directly on mine. "Join our crew," he clarified.
I laughed, but when I realized they were serious, I laughed again.
"What is this? This is so random." I shook my head and put my notebook in my bag. "I lost, so why would I join your crew? Besides, I already did your assignments, so why—"
"Shelly's been gone for months now because of a family emergency in England. We need a rider for the cycling tournament. We're short one person for the next round. It's only temporary," Dom explained, making puppy eyes at me.
I felt like a bucket of cold water was poured over me when he mentioned Shelly's name. I had suspected she might be the Shelly I knew, and now I was right. It really was her.
I clenched my fists.
"And didn't you say that if you beat Jay, you'd join their crew? It means you really want to join—" Mia started, but I cut her off.
"Believe it or not, I was just joking back then." I looked away from them. "I didn't expect you to take it seriously. Look, I'm selling my bike because I don't use it anymore. Just find another rider or bring Shelly back." I stood up. But before I could leave, someone grabbed my arm. I looked up to see Jay staring at me with no emotion on his face.
"I'll do all your assignments this time," he uttered. "Just join us," he said firmly.
"I don't need your help."
"But we do."
I looked at him in disbelief, meeting his gaze. Okay, I had to admit, I wanted to try their tournament, but I didn't want to show my face. I knew Sangho was handling that event. He might recognize me, and I didn't want him to know I was in Korea.
"Fine," I said, and Dom, Yuna, and Mia's eyes widened as if I had said something shocking. "Don't help me with physics, just Korean," I added, looking away.
"Wow, you really don't seem like someone who struggles with our language," Mia remarked, amazed.
I gave them a small smile. "Just tell me the time of your training," I said to Jay.
"We were planning to train right now," Dom chimed in.
Oh fuck
This isn't bad, right? And it's only temporary. They just really need a player for a new match. I sighed, thinking about Shelly again. That woman... So she's Jay Jo's girlfriend. I thought they were talking about a different Shelly because there was no way that woman would come to Korea. Last time she told me, no matter how boring her life got, she wouldn't go to her mother's country.
"I really appreciate you accepting our request," Mia said suddenly as we walked out of the school. "If I could join them, I would, but I'm not really good at biking." She said sadly.
"When is Shelly supposed to come back?" I asked, looking at the parked bikes. I can't believe I kept saying I wouldn't bike, but I still use it to get to school.
"We still don't have any news from her... Actually, I'm starting to worry, especially for Jay." We both glanced at Jay, who was now putting on his helmet.
"Why?"
She swallowed. "Ever since she left, Jay hasn't had any contact with Shelly. These past few months, it's been obvious how down he's been. He really loves Shelly," she said with concern. I paused and looked at Jay Jo again.
He frowned when he noticed me staring, so I quickly looked away.
"She'll come back," I said to reassure her. I can't believe I had a crush on a guy who was Scott's boyfriend.
"YUNA, MY LOVE! CHEER FOR ME IN FRONT OF DEMITRA, OKAY? SO SHE KNOWS HOW MUCH YOU LOVE ME!" Dom shouted from afar.
Disgust was written all over Yuna's face. "You're just training. What cheer are you talking about?" she rolled her eyes. Dom pouted like he was being mistreated by his girlfriend. I just grinned. They are really entertaining to watch. Why would Vinny leave this crew?
I saw Mia approach her friend Yuna. I watched them from behind as we walked, carrying my bike. I didn't know where we were going, but I just followed Dom. They seemed to have a specific place for their training.
I was surprised to see Jay walking beside me. He wasn't riding his bike either, but he was already wearing his helmet. I couldn't help but laugh. He looked cute, though. He glanced at me and raised an eyebrow.
"So... Inertia drift is your thing, huh?" I asked, surprising him. "It was impressive, I watched some videos of you racing." I said, looking at the road. I noticed we were falling behind. Dom walked really fast.
He still didn't say anything. He was like a mute.
"I also watched how you lean in." Based on what I saw, it was surprising that he could pull off that move. It wasn't an easy skill; it was dangerous.
"But your slide is a bit risky. Your grip on the bike isn't in the right position."
"What?"
And now he was finally talking.
I smiled at him. "You need to balance your body. The grip of your hand and your body should be opposite so you can slide lower. That's the technique to make the lean-in look better." I explained. I showed him how I held the bike. "And also, this is how you should hold the handlebar."
He looked confused, but then he suddenly got on his bike and tried the position I showed him. His grip still seemed wrong, so I walked over to him. I parked my bike to the side.
"I noticed from the video that this is why you almost fell. You need to widen your elbows." I moved closer and adjusted his elbow.
I narrowed my eyes as I focused on his grip, then reached out to adjust the position of his hand. Just as I lifted my head to explain, I realized he was staring right at me. My eyes widened in surprise when it hit me that I was actually holding his hand! I quickly pulled away, feeling a rush of embarrassment.
"It's fine." he muttered, causing me to feel flustered.
"So yeah. That's how you do it." I cleared my throat before stepping back a little.
He was silent for a moment. He lowered his hands while sitting on the bike. How could he look so hot?
"Did you master it before you did it in the tournament?" I asked, looking at him.
He shook his head. "No..." It was obvious.
My eyes widened. "So you did it without practice?"
"Hmm," he nodded.
"Where did you learn that, by the way?" I asked as I finally sat on my bike.
"I don't know his name." irritation plastered on his face.
"So it's a 'he'? Does he have blonde hair?" I smirked. "It was Owen, right?"
He stiffened when he heard me mention that name. His expression darkened. He seemed shocked that I knew.
"How did you know?"
"Because I'm the one who taught him that move." I said with bitterness in my voice before looking at the road.
He was silent, but I could see the amusement in his eyes. I couldn't blame him. He might be even more surprised if I told him I knew his girlfriend too. I didn't want to mention that because he might ask more questions. I don't really want to talk about them anymore.
"What's your relationship with him?" he asked suddenly.
"Just someone I know." I lied. "Why? Is he your friend?" I asked, but his face darkened even more. He looked so annoyed.
"I'll teach you about Korean after this training." he changed the topic.
"Why so sudden?" I laughed.
He stared at me for a few seconds before looking away. "Your Korean sounds lame."
"What?!"

Cloudy With a Chance of Murder.
Part I: leaving the crime scene.
Part II: the phone call.
Part III: a visit to the morgue.
Part IV: the lunch break.
Beckett stood by the coffee machine, waiting for the last of the espresso double-shot to drip from the machine so that she could pour the perfectly foamed milk into her mug. She was getting better at this; soon enough she'd be able to make herself a cup of coffee to rival Castle's, she was sure of it.
The boys had paraded through the bullpen with Reggie and his body guard only ten minutes ago. Their interrogation was far from over and, with everything panning out the way it had been, Beckett had decided that now was as good a time as ever for a caffeine boost.
Castle evidently had the same idea.
He walked into the break room and moved to take his place by her side. But he stood too close. Too close for at the precinct, anyway.
Out of habit - yes, after only two weeks they had already formed too many habits - his hand came to rest on her lower back and his chest brushed against her shoulder. She knew he wasn't doing it on purpose: trying to drive her crazy with the close proximity, the familiarity of his touch. But she hated having to hold back and it would be a hell of a lot easier if he wasn't constantly putting her in the position of having to be the one to redraw those boundaries.
With a sigh, she stepped to the side and regretfully created some distance between them.
"You know what I was just thinking?" Castle asked her as he turned and leaned back against the bench.
"That it's always the nice guy athlete that lets you down?" she mused with just a hint of bitterness.
Castle frowned. "There's obviously a backstory to that snide remark," he commented curiously. She looked at him, waited for the hounding questions but he shook his head. "No. I was thinking..." He allowed his voice to trail off as he stepped closer to her. After just a quick glance over his shoulder to ensure they were still alone, he looked at her with a mischievous grin. "It's almost lunch time."
Beckett looked at him, waited for him to maybe continue on with that train of thought. Instead, he just waggled his eyebrows.
"And?"
"And, I just happened to leave my packed lunch at home this morning."
She frowned; since when did Castle pack a lunch? But then she realized what he was suggesting. "So you'll be needing to go home to get it."
Castle smiled, took another small step in her direction. He was invading her space again; the smell of his cologne too alluring to ignore and she - for the second time that day - abandoned her coffee.
"I was hoping that maybe you could give me a lift?" he asked, still playing this game he had obviously decided he liked. "You know, save me the hassle of trying to hail a cab."
"You seem to have forgotten the case we're working on. The one that is far from solved," she reminded him.
He shrugged. "Gotta take your mandated break, right?"
"And you want me to spend my break playing taxi for you?"
"I promise to make it worth your while."

of our own making
(an X-Files fanfic)
Chapter 23/34 - filing cabinet
[Read on AO3]
Tumblr media
The water cooler gurgles as he fills a small paper cup and takes a sip. Today had been the day. After weeks of going through personnel files for prospective replacements, they finally met with a few candidates. He meant what he said to Scully; he’s ready to let go of the reins a little. That doesn’t make the actuality of handing over the X-Files any easier.
Force of habit, he thinks, to resist any and all efforts to boot them from the X-Files. He has to keep reminding himself that it was his idea this time, and that they’d still be working on them in a consulting capacity anyway. He isn’t quitting cold turkey. And besides, they’re moving on to bigger and much better things.
Lost in thought, he doesn’t notice at first when a few other guys gather around, each filling their own cups with water.
“So, Garcia,” the first one says, addressing a man Mulder vaguely recalls works in Organized Crime. “I hear the wife’s about to pop. You ready?”
Agent Garcia smiles, nodding his head. “Oh yeah. We’re going out tonight. One last night on the town before the baby gets here, you know?”
“You gotta do it,” another agent says. Agent Mann, or something silly like that, Mulder thinks. “They call it a ‘babymoon,’ you ever heard of that? My wife and I took a trip down to the Isle of Palms for ours before Michael was born. Great beaches. Now we’re lucky if we make it to the coast without one or all of our kids ingesting sand.”
The men share a hearty laugh, and Mulder feels a little out of place.
“Amy would have killed me if I hadn’t taken her out for a nice dinner before our first,” the first agent says. “It was another two years before we were able to go to a nice restaurant alone, so I wouldn’t have blamed her!”
Is this something people do, Mulder wonders? Is Scully expecting it? Maybe he had missed the memo at some point. Is there a soon-to-be-dad handbook somewhere that tells them how to win points with their wives before they become parents? Should he have come up with a plan to do something special for Scully? Their lives are about to irreversibly change, and he hadn’t even considered, really, that very soon, it won’t be just the two of them anymore. There will be a third person, someone entirely dependent on them just to stay alive.
He fills his paper cup again, feeling sweat begin to form under his collar.
Dinner. He can do dinner, that’s a good idea. He should ask her. One last hoorah as the infamous Mulder-Scully duo for old times’ sake. She’d like that.
With a polite nod and a forced smile at his fellow agents around the water cooler, he heads back toward the elevator, and back to the basement.
-.-.-
“Hey, there you are,” Scully says as he shuts the door behind him. She’s elbow deep in one of the filing cabinet drawers, evidently rooting around at the back for a stray piece of paper that has escaped a folder. “Help me figure out which files to make copies of. I know you’re going to want to keep some of them,” she says.
She knows him so well. He’s already started making a mental list of ones he wants to have in his personal collection. The Bellefleur file, for example. And of course, the ones with his name or Scully’s in it, but those are for much less happy, nostalgic reasons.
Slouching his suit coat off his shoulders, he rolls up his sleeves and approaches the drawer, offering his assistance in reaching the wayward scrap of paper. Her little arms are too short, a fact which he intends to tease her about later. His fingers successfully find the edge of the document, and he extracts it with careful precision.
A familiar picture stares back up at him, giving him a hearty chuckle.
“Remember this one?” he asks, turning his sketch of the Jersey Devil back toward her.
She laughs as she takes it from him, inspecting it. “How could I forget?” she says, “I think this image is forever ingrained in my psyche.”
“Hey, don’t make fun of my drawing,” he says. “I want a copy of that file. With my beautiful artwork, please.”
She rolls her eyes, but opens up a folder and slides the paper in its rightful place. He can’t help but notice it was already in the ‘to-be-xeroxed’ pile before he said anything.
The office falls silent as he continues rifling through the cabinets, plucking out a file here and there that he wouldn’t mind keeping. It’s a walk down memory lane, for him. Flukeman, Big Blue, the vampire sheriff in Texas… Who would have thought that seven years later, he’d still have Scully by his side as he prepares to let go of what became his life’s work? Their life’s work. She should have run screaming from here years ago, but she didn’t.
Now look where it’s gotten them.
Glancing up at her from over the top of the overstuffed file drawer and filled with a sudden surge of gratefulness that he doesn’t know what to do with, he blurts, “Let’s go out to dinner tonight.”
She freezes, and he mentally kicks himself for the hasty delivery of his idea. Theoretically, he should have planned a better way to ask her. After a second that feels like an eternity, she turns to him with a skeptical tilt to her brow and a small smile.
Well, at least he knows he’ll still get to see her make that expression at him even when they’re off the X-Files.
“I mean, we could try that new place in Dupont Circle. The one your mom was telling you about? If you want.”
“What’s the occasion?” she asks, folding her arms expectantly in front of her chest as she leans back in his office chair.
“You know,” he shrugs, “pretty soon it won’t be just us anymore, and I– I like… spending time with you… So I just thought it would be nice to—”
She smiles shyly. “That sounds great, Mulder,” she says, interrupting his fumbling explanation. “Tonight at seven?”
He grins, ducking his head to hide his goofy expression. “Yeah, seven. I’ll make the reservations.”
-.-.-
In hindsight, this is a crazy idea. The restaurant they’re going to is extravagant. Ostentatious. And he knows Scully knows it, too. The margin of error for plausible deniability here is extremely small, and if she doesn’t have some idea of his feelings for her already, he’s going to have a hard time keeping it that way as they sit in a low-lit room munching on those fancy breadsticks and drinking expensive wine.
What had he been thinking? He asked her out without even sparing it a thought, not realizing how it would sound. To be going out on a date with your best friend who is also technically your wife? Langly and Frohike were right. He is an idiot. What is he supposed to do on this ‘date?’ How is he supposed to act? Does she expect anything from him? Is this his last chance to make a move? What does it mean that this is one of the last nights they’ll spend alone together before someone literally hands them a baby and lets them take it home?
The idea of making a move, after all this time spent explicitly trying not to do exactly that, has him in a spiral. He paces around the floor in his bedroom, trying not to think about what dress Scully might be putting on in her room on the other side of the hall or what she might be doing with her hair.
He can’t upset the status quo like this with the baby due any time in the next few weeks, can he? Bad idea. Bad, bad, idea. But at the same time, when else would he get the chance? He’d heard what the other agents had said… it was years in some cases before new parents got the chance to really be alone. What if he had to spend the next several years silently pining for his own wife in the home they share together, watching her be a mother to the baby they adopted? Maybe there’s a reason people don’t get into arrangements like this with their platonic best friend, after all.
How stupid was he to think he could do this without letting his feelings get in the way? Why on earth didn’t he just tell her months ago, before all this started, instead of getting his hopes up?
The answer, of course, is that he wants this. He wants this family more than anything, even if it's never anything more than friendship and cohabitation with Scully. He would have scared her away if he told her the same day she found those adoption brochures on his desk. It would be too much at once. He knows her, she would have been overwhelmed.
But, man… What if?
He checks his reflection in the mirror one more time, smoothing his hair into place. He hopes he didn’t overdo it on the cologne. Should he be wearing a tie? He puts on one that Scully got him several years ago, complete with a tie clip he’d gotten from her mother at Christmas.
He hesitates over the chain he wears under his shirt. What would Scully think if he took it off and wore it on his finger tonight? He finds that he wants to. Just a normal husband and wife grabbing dinner together. Without giving it much thought, he loosens his tie and unbuttons the top button of his shirt to free the necklace from its usual place. He knows that if he gives it much more consideration, he’ll talk himself out of it, so he pushes those thoughts to the back of his mind and slides the band onto his left ring finger.
There. He’s ready.
He takes a deep breath and opens the door to his room, intent on continuing his pacing in the living room if Scully isn’t ready to go yet.
“I’ll be ready in a minute,” he hears her call from the bathroom as his door creaks open. At a quick glance, he can see the back of an elegant dress he’s never seen before, black with a neckline that swoops down low in the back. She stands at the sink, fastening an earring in place, and it feels like junior prom all over again.
“Oh, I’m in deep trouble,” Mulder mutters to himself, rubbing his hands over his face. Forcing himself to turn away, he walks straight to the kitchen and fills up a glass of water, downing it in record time.
Not five minutes later, he hears her emerge, and he prepares himself for the sight of her.
Sure enough, it knocks the breath out of him, a fact which he makes every attempt to hide. He’s pretty sure she catches it, though, because the corner of her mouth quirks up and her eyes drift to the floor, as if she were somehow self-conscious about her appearance.
Impossible.
He’s suddenly very glad he opted for the tie, if this is what she's wearing to dinner. Although, it’s feeling a little tight, at the moment.
“You, uh—” he starts, at a loss for words. His mouth is bone dry, despite the water he had just chugged a few minutes ago. “You—”
“Thanks,” she says, mercifully sparing him from further embarrassment. She tucks a gently curled tuft of hair behind her ear, drawing his attention to the careful way she’s arranged it. “I figured this might be my last chance to get properly dressed up for a while, so… It’s been… years, I suppose, since I’ve had the occasion to.”
This just confirms it. He’s been an idiot. Years of missed opportunities, chances he’s wasted. He could have been taking this gorgeous, magnificent woman out to fancy dinners all the time, if he’d just been able to pull himself together and see past the end of his own rather distinguished nose.
If time travel is ever invented, he’s gonna use it to go back in time and kick his own—
“Mulder?” she says, smiling amusedly at him. He gets the sense that that’s not the first time she’s tried to get his attention, and he feels his cheeks warm. “I said, are you ready to go?”
“Yeah,” he chokes out, finding his voice at last. She reaches down to grab her purse, and he coughs to clear his throat. “Yeah, let’s go.”
She shakes her head at him in mock admonition, but happily accepts his proffered arm as they exit out the front door of the apartment. In the hall, he glances down, taking in the sight of her hands wrapped comfortably around his right bicep.
Her ring. She’s wearing it. He swears his heart might leap out of his chest at the thought. This might just be the thing that does him in. Put it on his death certificate. ‘Cause of death: the woman he loves is wearing his ring.’ What a way to go.
He doesn’t say anything—couldn’t, even if he wanted to—but he can tell that she saw him take notice. How could he not, with the way it sparkles on her finger, like it belongs there? He feels her hold loosen, and it stirs up a mild panic in his chest. She shouldn’t be embarrassed. Please, please don’t be embarrassed.
He lifts his hand to stop her from releasing him, running his thumb over the diamond inset on her finger. It’s okay, he’s saying. Look, I’m wearing mine too.
He sees the moment her eyes fix on his ring, as he rests his left hand over hers on his arm. She avoids his eyes, but he can tell she’s moved. She swallows back her emotion, and her hold on him tightens again, which sends a wave of relief through his body.
“Come on, we’ll be late for our reservation,” he says, his voice low, just for her ears.
She nods, and lets him lead the way.
-.-.-
His first mistake was thinking that he could get day-of reservations at one of the trendiest places in all of Washington, D.C. His second mistake was not considering that his straightforward request for a table that evening might somehow be misconstrued to mean that evening a year from now.
It takes all his self restraint not to raise his voice at the host at the host stand, because really, why would he be asking for something like that? He’d like to give them a little lesson on the use of the English language, but he won’t, only because Scully is there and he doesn’t want to completely ruin the evening.
She’s there watching him as all this takes place, undoubtedly amused as he fights back frustration. After a moment, her hand lands on his arm, her typical method of pulling him back from the brink of a poor decision that she’s perfected over the years, and she shakes her head.
“It’s alright, Mulder,” she says. “We can just go somewhere else.”
Yeah, but where?
“Have a good evening,” the host says dismissively, and his tone is just a little bit too smug for Mulder’s taste. It reminds him of stuffy dinners with his father’s associates or interactions he had with the pompous law students at Oxford. Maybe they don’t want to eat here after all.
Scully feels him tense under her touch, and gently guides him out of the restaurant before he can respond. What would he do without her? He’d probably get beaten up a lot more often, that’s for sure. Or at least kicked out of places, like he would have been tonight.
She leads him outside, and soon enough, they’re standing on the sidewalk by the street, at a loss for what to do next.
“I’m sorry, Scully,” he says, mentally kicking himself for screwing this up so badly. “I just wanted to do something special, and now—”
“Mulder,” she stops him. “Seriously. It’s okay. I’m happy with wherever we decide to go tonight. This is about spending time together, right?”
“Yeah.”
“Then let's go,” she says, grabbing his hand. “Come on, I have an idea.”
She holds tight to him as she leads them down the sidewalk, passing other couples on the street on this lovely spring evening. He has no idea where she could possibly be taking them, but she’s in a great mood, so he tries not to let the minor setback ruin his night. If she’s happy, then he’s happy.
The sun draws closer to the horizon, casting a golden glow on everything and everyone it touches. It makes her hair shine like fire, and once again he counts his blessings. It feels a little bit like the night of their wedding, and that thought brings a smile to his face.
They walk past several up-scale restaurants, and Scully doesn’t even spare them a glance. Wherever she’s taking them, she must know the way there. After a couple more blocks, she comes to a stop, standing out front of a greasy diner, maybe just a little nicer than the ones they frequent in small-town America.
“Really?” he asks, looking dubiously up at the neon sign. “You sure you don’t want to go somewhere a little fancier, Scully? You got all dressed up.”
Her answering smile is resplendent in the glowing light.
“I want to eat here, Mulder,” she says, stepping toward the entrance. A bell above the door jingles as she pushes it open. “It seems fitting, doesn’t it?”
It does. A wave of nostalgia hits him like a truck when he realizes why she brought them here. Why a diner, of all places, would be the place she chooses for their ceremonial last meal, just the two of them. He can’t count how many formica tabletops just like this one they’ve shared a meal at, over the years. Hundreds of hamburgers with a side of fries, maybe a milkshake they end up splitting when Scully’s ice water loses its appeal. Ripped vinyl booths that Scully thoroughly wipes down with wet wipes she’d started keeping in her bag for that exact purpose.
“Well, don’t you two look nice?” a waitress in uniform says as she approaches their table. Her hair looks like the 80s have come back with a vengeance, all frizzy and permed, and she chews a wad of bubblegum aggressively, smelling like her last smoke break.
In short, it’s perfect.
“What’ll it be?” she asks.
Mulder orders for the both of them, knowing Scully’s usual order by heart. She smiles the way she always does when he remembers to ask for a lemon for her water, and he makes sure to tell the waitress to bring two straws for the milkshake instead of one.
When he looks across the booth at Scully, again, he imagines a little girl sitting next to her, coloring away on a kids menu with two, cheap, plasticky crayons that break in half if you look at them wrong.
It won’t be long, now. That will be their life. Mulder, party of three. Maybe Scully will start to carry a plastic baggy of the good crayons in her bag, for when they go to places like this. He’s absolutely certain she’ll at least double her use of wet wipes and sanitizer. He’ll become a chicken strip connoisseur, knowing all the best places in the city to get the child-favorite delicacy.
“To us,” Mulder toasts once their drinks arrive, lifting his chocolate milkshake in the air between them. “To… endings and new beginnings.”
“To endings and new beginnings,” Scully repeats, clinking her glass against his.
-.-.-
It’s past dark already, barely a hint of color lingering on the horizon, but that doesn’t stop them from prolonging the evening with a walk to the National Mall. The moon is bright, and the streets are lit up for tourists making the most of the warmer spring weather. It’s a pleasant walk. Scully feels drunk, despite the absence of alcohol with their dinner. She wonders if Mulder feels it too.
He guides her with his hand in its usual place, and she feels what can only be described as complete and utter contentment, as each brush of his fingers propels her gently forward. The street leads them straight to the reflecting pool on the National Mall, a favorite spot of theirs, not that they find the time to visit often enough. They’ve missed the cherry blossom blooms by only a couple weeks, but the sweet smell of them persists, unless it’s just her imagination.
Something about being with Mulder like this dials all her senses up to eleven. She has never experienced life like this before. Are the stars always so bright? Does the cool breeze always feel like silk on her skin?
Maybe it's his cologne that has her feeling tipsy. She selfishly hopes the scent of it will linger on her clothes and in her hair even after this night has come to its end.
The Mall is quiet and mostly empty at this hour. The Washington Monument looms in the distance, lit up brightly and casting its imposing reflection on the still waters of the reflecting pool. A family of ducks disturbs the glassy surface, sending ripples radiating outward as they paddle from one side to the other.
Mulder has this peaceful expression on his face, the corners of his mouth quirked upward ever so slightly. If she didn’t know any better, she’d think he had never been here before, taking in all the sights for the first time. He watches the ducks for a moment, expelling a breath of laughter through his nose as a small duckling falls behind, then swims faster to catch up with the rest of the crew.
His hand drops from her back, but before she has a chance to mourn the loss, he entangles his fingers with hers, clasping their hands tightly together. She follows after him in a daze, her lips pulled back in a self-conscious sort of grin. She can’t help it. He makes her feel like a teenager, and… she doesn’t even know what this is, really, but she likes it.
They circle the reflecting pool for a bit, wandering aimlessly at a lazy pace, reluctant to put an end to their time together. Eventually, they end up sitting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, the gargantuan statue of the nation’s sixteenth president a silent sentinel behind them.
Scully leans her cheek against Mulder’s bicep. Despite her best efforts to keep them open, her eyes fall shut, her body succumbing to the serenity of their surroundings and the comfort of good company. He offers her his coat, draping it over her shoulders to combat the slight chill. It dwarfs her, the extra fabric at the hem pooling on the ground behind her.
“How about we come here on the weekends?” his voice rumbles, the first words spoken since they left the diner almost half an hour ago.
“Mm?” she hums in question.
He jostles her slightly with his arm, and she forces her eyes open again.
“You know, take the stroller for a spin around the pool,” he says, gesturing ahead of them. “Maybe stop into the Air and Space museum if we feel like it…”
She smiles. She can picture it so easily, the two of them experiencing the wonders of this city through the eyes of their child as she grows. Of course Mulder would want to go to the Air and Space Museum. It’s a wonder he hasn’t dragged her there before.
“Every weekend?” she asks doubtfully, her words slurring slightly.
He wraps his arm around her shoulders, pulling her into his side as he chuckles.
“No, not every weekend,” he says, pressing a kiss to her hairline. “I’m sure some weekends we’ll want to sleep in. Maybe have a late breakfast and watch movies. I can make pancakes. Chocolate chip.”
“Children need to have healthy breakfasts, Mulder,” she says admonishingly. Something tells her it will be a constant battle to keep Mulder from spoiling their daughter with sugar and empty carbs. But if that’s the worst of their disagreements when it comes to co-parenting, she’ll happily accept the challenge.
He rolls his eyes. “Fine. Half blueberry, half chocolate chip,” he concedes. She decides to let it slide for now.
Above them, an airplane soars across the sky, lights blinking rhythmically as it passes overhead.
It’s funny. Before Mulder, she never looked twice at things like that. But now, she finds herself checking a second time, her gaze lingering a little longer, just in case it might be something other than an airplane.
What has this man done to her?
Mulder follows the direction of her stare, his chin tilting upward. Against the backdrop of stars, the perfectly normal, human-built aircraft flies out of sight. The hand on Scully’s shoulder drops to the ground, his palms resting against the stone steps as he reclines back a little.
“Thanks for hanging with me all these years, Scully,” he says softly, his eyes never wavering from the heavens. “I really couldn’t have done it without you.”
Her lips pull back in a smile. “We make a pretty good team, huh?” she says over her shoulder.
His lowers his gaze to meet hers. “I like to think so. You think that will translate to raising a kid?”
She has often wondered that exact thing, but for the life of her now, as she looks into his eyes, she can’t think of even one reason why she questioned it.
She leans back onto his shoulder, her eyes falling shut again.
“Only one way to find out,” she answers sleepily.
He sighs happily. “Any day now.”
-.-.-
What a day. What a night.
Mulder can’t sleep, lying stiffly on his back in bed with his hands clasped on top of his torso. All he can think about is how beautiful she looked in the blinding fluorescent light of the diner, with a bit of ketchup smeared on the corner of her mouth from when she stole one of his fries when she thought he wasn’t looking. How she held his hand, content just to walk in silence beside him in the shadow of some of the nation’s most revered monuments.
What a perfect way to put a cap on their time working on the X-Files together. He couldn’t have planned it better himself (clearly). Who needs expensive wine and stale classical music when you have bottomless milkshakes and a jukebox playing the greatest sock-hop hits of the 1950s?
It wasn’t a real date, he has to remind himself, but it sure was close to one. Usually a first date doesn’t end with both parties going home together, that’s one difference. Or, well, going home to the apartment that they both live in together, he should say. But tonight, as they returned home, they got ready for bed side-by-side at the sink, brushing their teeth and washing their faces, and it felt like they’d been doing this for years. There was no awkwardness there, just a wave of peace and stability he wasn’t sure he’d ever feel in his adult life.
If they ever move somewhere else—somewhere closer to Quantico, maybe—he’ll make sure the bathroom is equipped with a his-and-hers vanity. A sink for each of them, and plenty of counter space for all of Scully’s specialty serums and creams. It’ll be nice, he thinks.
When he finally falls asleep, it’s to visions of wraparound porches and matching rocking chairs, and maybe a nice playset in the backyard with a couple of kids running around. Now that’s a dream worth dreaming of.
-.-.-
This is ridiculous. She should just go back to bed, try one more time to actually fall asleep, get a few hours of rest at least.
But she can’t sleep. Because Mulder had gone and put it in her head that everything is about to change, and it really could happen at any moment. Somehow, when she’s with him, she forgets every apprehension that plagues her, lured into a sense of security and assurance by some mystical power he possesses. Okay, maybe not a mystical power, but it is frightening how easily she casts aside her doubts when he’s within eyesight.
But then it all comes flooding back the moment she’s left to her own thoughts. It’s infuriating. She thought she was ready for it—for this massive life change—but she’s not. It terrifies her.
What if she can’t do it? What if she misses working in the Hoover building with him too much? What if she and Mulder have a disagreement about something trivial and it pulls them apart? What if he meets a nice woman at Quantico and wants out of this arrangement? What if it’s not enough for them to just be friends and raise this baby together? What if her feelings get the best of her, and she scares him away?
Or perhaps worst of all… What if they don’t get to go home with a baby at the end of all this? What if the mother decides to keep it? What then? Would they even have it in their hearts to try again? To wait a little longer, when there are drawers full of onesies and newborn diapers already in their home?
For weeks, the same nightmare has plagued her. Standing in a hospital hallway, their path blocked by people from the adoption agency telling them to turn around. Go home. You do not get a child.
She wakes feeling emptier than ever, and wishes for the millionth time that things could be easier.
There’s so much to think about, and she can’t take it anymore. She’s scared. And there’s only one person she likes to go to when she’s scared, and he’s sleeping peacefully right behind this door.
She sighs, leaning her head up against the door frame in exhaustion. She’ll just poke her head in for a moment. Remind herself that he’s there, and he’s not going anywhere. She repeats the words he’s said to her over and over in her head like a mantra, ways he’s reassured her in the past that he’s in this for the long-haul. But for some reason, they’re hard to recall in these moments of doubt. Maybe she’d misunderstood him. Maybe she’s remembering it wrong, applying more meaning to his words than he’d intended.
Her stomach tosses and turns uncomfortably with nerves. She’ll never be able to sleep like this.
As quietly as possible, she eases the door open, a sliver of light from the hallway piercing its way into his room. He looks warm and soft, the way his face lays slack against the pillow. He’s made himself at home here. His knick knacks line the shelves, unpacked from their boxes after the move and scattered about. As she steps carefully inside, she spots a photo of them that once sat on a shelf in their office. He must have moved it here recently, part of the slow transfer of their lives out of the basement of the Hoover building. She can’t help but notice that it sits beside him on his nightstand, right next to his glasses and whatever book he’s been reading lately.
She lets out a breath, allowing the comfort he unknowingly offers to dull her senses. Just a minute longer, then she’ll go back to her room and give sleeping another shot.
Or she would have, if he hadn’t started to stir, slowly waking from his peaceful slumber. It’s almost like he’d sensed her there, some kind of psychological link that told him when she was near, and in distress. She quickly turns back to the door, hand on the door handle to open it and make her exit before he truly notices her presence, when she hears her name spoken in a confused whisper.
“Scully?”
Her shoulders slump in defeat, and her hand falls away from the doorknob.
“Sorry,” she says, turning to face him sheepishly. “I didn’t mean to wake you.”
He props himself up on an elbow, blearily rubbing sleep from his eyes with a fist.
“You okay?” he asks.
Her mouth drops open to reassure him that, yes, she’s fine, but she takes just a second too long to answer, and she knows he sees right through her. It’s not even worth lying to him.
“Come here,” he says, scooting over to make room on the bed beside him. “We can talk, if you want.”
She really shouldn’t, but his offer is tantalizing. She’s too vulnerable to be in this position, right now. Who knows what will slip from her mouth in her exhausted and overwhelmed state? Her feet carry her toward the bed anyway, and she slides into place under the covers, staring blankly up at the ceiling as he settles on his side facing her on his side of the bed.
“Can’t sleep?” he asks knowingly.
She shakes her head, her hair rustling on the pillow.
“Took me a while to get to sleep too,” he admits. “A lot to think about. A lot, a lot.”
At least she’s not alone in this problem, she guesses. She hates feeling like the insecure one in any situation, and that’s how she’s felt more often than not throughout this process so far.
“What’s keeping you up?” he asks, gently urging her to open up.
She tries to shrug, but she knows she’ll have to come up with an answer sooner or later. There’s no reason to hide this from him. Sometimes, he knows her better than she knows herself, and that can be a blessing and a curse.
“I’m going to miss working with you, Mulder,” she says honestly, her lips sealed tight to fight back the slight tremble in them. She can’t stop hearing her own words spoken by the reflecting pool a few years ago. ‘If I quit now, they win.’
She feels a hand land on her upper arm, stroking it comfortingly. Her eyes flutter shut. She can lie to herself all she wants, but this is why she really came in here. There’s a type of comfort only Mulder has ever been able to bestow, and she needs it now more than ever.
“We’ll still be in the same building,” he says appeasingly. “We can get lunch together every day, talk about our classes, complain about the new recruits.”
It’s silly, but his words do help. She imagines sitting across from him in his own private office—probably decorated a lot like their current office is—and munching on a salad while listening to him complain about an essay one of his students turned in. It sounds pleasant. Easy. Maybe he can come help decorate her office too. She’s gotten used to his clutter. She isn’t sure she’d be able to work in the sparsely furnished office space like she’s naturally inclined to.
“And besides– We’ll still see each other here,” he adds. “Every night. And the weekends.”
The thought sends a thrill through her. Sometimes it still feels like a dream, what they’re doing. Giving up the X-Files… that’s a tangible thing. But the baby? She’s still an abstract idea, despite the fact that physical reminders of their plans are scattered throughout her apartment. The picture he’d painted earlier of a relaxing day at home together feels out of reach—like a nice idea that isn’t really attainable. Is she that traumatized from all the disappointment in her life?
“Are you sure you’re ready for this?” she asks, her mouth downturned in a frown. “I mean– I know you’ve said before that this is what you want, but I—”
“You’re gonna have to learn to trust me sometime, Scully,” Mulder says, a slight sadness in his voice.
She does. She does trust him—maybe even more than she trusts herself. That’s what the problem is.
“I do,” she says. “I’m sorry. I guess I’m just…”
“Freaking out?” he finishes, smiling at her in amusement.
“Just a little,” she says, returning his smile.
He breathes in deeply, his face pensive like it always is when he's mulling over a difficult question.
“I think we’re ready,” he says, projecting confidence into his voice. “I think you’re going to be a rockstar mom, and we’ll wonder why we didn’t do this years ago.”
“You think?”
“I know.”
“But what if—”
He shakes his head, putting a stop to her words immediately. “You gotta stop that, Scully,” he says seriously. “This is going to work out.” His fingers find the dainty necklace she wears, his thumb brushing over the cross. “Have faith,” he implores.
She closes her eyes, letting out a breath, and with it, trying to release some of the fear that keeps her up at night. She wants to do what he asks, to let herself go, but it's not as easy as that. Sometimes she can't help but feel like they're trying to cheat destiny, to force things into going their way when they've been repeatedly told “no” at every turn.
His reassurance does help, though. Wasn't that why she'd come here in the first place?
Mulder settles back, turning his attention back to the ceiling.
“What did you think of the new agents?” she asks after a moment, changing the subject. It’s hard to believe that it was just this morning that they’d interviewed a few of them, hoping to find some trustworthy hands to leave their work to.
“Reyes seems sharp,” Mulder says. “I think her background in folklore and ritualistic abuse is a good starting point.”
“Mm,” Scully hums her agreement. “And what about Doggett? Too staunch of a skeptic for you?”
Mulder chuckles. “He comes highly recommended by the higher ups, so I don’t know,” he says. “It’s always good to have a variety of opinions around, though, don’t you think?”
She turns her head to the left, her eyes meeting his in the darkened room, lit only by what little moonlight comes through the blinds.
“I think… we’ll be okay,” she says then, willing the words to be true as she speaks them. Her assertion brings a smile to his face, and he leans back on the pillow, focusing on the patterns on the ceiling like she had been a moment earlier.
“We will,” he agrees. “For once, I think we’ll be better than okay.”

It was a beautiful sunny morning I thought as I looked out my apartment window. Today was the day my glorious king skibidi bae Ino Takuma comes back from work. I sighed and looked at a picture of him that was sitting on my desk. Ugh he looks so fine in the photo. (What The photo looks like)
Tumblr media
Ima go 𝓫𝓸𝓷𝓴𝓮𝓻𝓼 if I don't see my lil kitten soon I thought to myself. I get my ford f150 ready and start to drive to his workplace. While I was hitting the road there was an enormous gigantic car that looked like a cyclops that was a big back. It comes to me at full light speed and it crashes into me. Our car rolls up and down and left and right and it starts to float. Out of curiosity I open my door but then I slip and fall. I start to fall down quick as my body sways like an inflatable, I almost sharted myself until someone snatched me. My eyes were closed in fear but I heard something in the distance… ~now, now daddy's home darling~ no need to fret lil one” I open my eyes and I’m met with bright and luminous blinding blue eyes. I couldn't even tell it was blue because of how bright it was. It could almost make the whole city shine “shine bright like a diamond!!!” *the man covers ur eyes* “guessss whoooo” “Omg!!! Fast forward to gojos apartment
“It’s freaky time 😈😈😈😈” Gojo says as he slowly teasingly takes off his top. “G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-gojo San!!!! Nani are you doing?!?!” I exclaim. Suddenly, Osamu miya and Ino walk in!!! You know where the place nonia is?” “w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-what is nonia?” I nervously stammer. Tumblr media
“because either way… we are about to give you the most devious backshots' ' Osamu mentions as he grimaces and oils me up. Gojo lifts me up and lays me down on the mattress “don’t worry… we’ll take real good care of you” Gojo says with an evil grin as he smacks my ass so hard it leaves a skibidi red hand print! Gojo then whips out his ohio grimace cock and shoves it in me. “ owchies!!! Then gojo came. I lay on the bed breathing heavily but then I hear, “my turnnnnnn~” I look up and I see Ino my glorious pookie wookie dookie! “Uh ohhhh” I say
69 ohio Gyatt rizzler minutes later
We are all worked up, oiled up, and resting with each other on bed while making all the place wet. Until we hear a loud BOOM outside. It was a big radioactive explosion!!’

here - have a horny vampire bite scene
we're still a couple chapters away from this in my fic, Juniper & Starlight, but i'e already written the bite night scene (because of course i have) and fuck it, i wanna give a sneak peek.
so here - have an unnecessarily horny vampire bite scene. (or part ofit, at elast. gotta save some for the actual fic lol)
***
“Okay,” June says. “Just…be careful.”
“Really?” His mask drops again. He’s genuinely surprised by her trust. But just as quickly, he recovers and smiles sweetly at her. “Of course. I won’t take a drop more than I need.”
That isn’t what June had meant by ‘be careful,’ though. That thought she has had several times over the last few days slithers into her mind again: the feeling that her blood itself is rancid, cursed by some unknowable darkness. She wonders if it will taste as terrible as it feels. She wonders if it will hurt him.  Maybe that’s part of why she has agreed, so that she can find out if her blood really is as vile as she believes.
“Let’s get comfortable, shall we?”
Scratch growls again, moving to stand protectively in front of June before Astariion can shift closer to her.
“It’s all right, boy,” June assures the dog, reaching out to give him a pet.  “He ain’t gonna hurt me. Not real bad, at least.” Scratch whines and leans into her hand as she scratches his ear. “Go on, now. Go check on the others.”
Scratch looks between June and Astarion for a moment before giving one final growl in Astarion’s direction and then bounding off toward the fire and the circle of sleeping party members.
Astarion watches the dog go with clear fascination. “The mutt has taken a liking to you rather quickly, hasn’t he?” He turns to look at June again, a flirtatious smile curling his lips. “Though, who could blame him? You are a…captivating creature.”
“Captivating?” she repeats. “Really? That’s the word you’re gonna use for why a dog might like me?”
“It’s the word I’ll use for why I like you.”
Lie, lie, lie.
But June doesn’t have the energy to call his bluff tonight. Instead she just sighs and asks, “So how do we do this?”
“You lie back,” he says, his voice a low purr as he shifts closer to her. “And let me take care of the rest.”
June resists the urge to roll her eyes as she unfolds her legs and lays down on the bedroll. She wills the tension from her muscles as Astarion moves to hover over her, crawling up her body until his face is only a few inches above hers. One of his hands moves her curls away from her neck before sliding beneath her head and cradling it gingerly.
“Just relax,” he whispers. But June can’t help feeling like he’s talking to himself, not to her, when he says this.
This thought is quickly chased away by the sudden, icy pierce of fangs in her neck. June gasps and her back arches, but this only serves to press herself closer to Astarion. The pain fades soon enough, overwhelmed by a rush of adrenaline. June’s heart races, her body trembles. She finds herself clinging to him in an effort to hold herself still, one hand in his hair and the other on his beck, clenched in the soft fabric of his shirt.
Astarion’s chest rumbles against hers as he makes a noise of intense satisfaction into her neck. His knee pushes between her legs as it presses down into the bedroll, and the hand beneath her head tightens in her hair. His other hand rests on her ribs before it begins to make slow, soothing caresses along her torso.
June’s breathing becomes deep and slow as the trembling eases as she begins to relax against him. This is the first time she’s been touched since waking up in that pod. She hasn’t realized how starved she is for physical contact - for tenderness - until now.
It’s so much more than that, though. She can feel her blood flowing into him. It’s a connection unlike any she could have imagined. She doesn’t know when the last time she had sex was - or with whom - but she can’t imagine it compared to this sort of intensity. This intimacy. This is what it feels like to become a part of another person. This is what it feels like to sustain someone.
This is what it feels like to be consumed.

Please do ramble, we are very interested.
SO, [starting from the beginning because my posting on this has been sporadic and from what I can tell not the most comprehensive] I had a funny joke theory when the game first brought up the idea of Leif having descendants that it was gonna involve Mothiva, which I accidentally got attached to even though it's obviously not a thing.
But anyway my thoughts are: Grandpa canonically mentions that he has brothers [which I get why they don't have Leif chase that mention in canon but also. ?!?] so obviously Mothiva is the child of one of them. I very consistently go back and forth on whether I want/think it's logistically/thematically sensible for Grandpa to be Leif and Muse's only child with the other siblings being from a later relationship/Muse wanting more kids or if they're all related to Leif.
What I am sure on is that I like to think Mothiva had a close relationship and a lot of admiration for her grandma Muse when she was growing up, and that her stories about her time scouting for Elizant I were a good part of Mothiva's motivation to eventually become an explorer. (Also I know I've mentioned this bit at least once probably more but my brain goes insane every time I think about Mothiva's kick attack combined with Leif's one mention of Muse's fighting capabilities being that she had "pretty strong kicks" so you know where I think she learned that one from).
Although by close I mean emotionally, not physically. For Mothiva's immediate family situation, she grew up in Bugaria but outside of the ant kingdom proper [dont' ask me where that's part's not my problem], so while Muse did come visit it wasn't exactly a super regular thing. Generally I think her parents were decent and did their best with her, she was also the younger middle of a large pack of siblings so I think she dealt with some issues with needing more attention/affection than she felt like she got. And while Muse definitely gave time to all her kids and grandkids I think she got along most with Mothiva among her siblings so for Mothiva that additional attention also had an effect on her.
Which leads into my thoughts on Mothiva's feelings on Muze. Which are that she fucking hates her so much. Her cousin is an only child, never having to fight with siblings for attention. Who gets to live in the Ant Kingdom, far more interesting than her middle-of-nowhere home, and where she sees their grandmother all the time. Who takes almost perfectly after Muse in looks. Who's literally named after her. Years of compounded childhood jealousy combined with Mothiva's anger issues, and it's so fucking delicious to think about.
Don't know exactly when Muse dies but I think it's when Mothiva's about 12-15, and not too long after that is when Mothiva decides to run off to the ant kingdom on her own, change her name, and bank everything on becoming an idol both for its own sake and as a way to eventually become an explorer.
[two big sidetrack notes: 1) the whole thing of Mothiva's feelings on Muze kind of developed out of me tossing around the idea of Mothiva's father big resenting Muse and Grandpa especially because he felt like Grandpa was obviously the favorite child because of his parenthood situation (95% sibling jealously 5% yes there was a difference to the feelings dynamic even though Muse didn't actually like him better and tried not to make it a thing in general). and the idea of that translating even better onto Muze and Mothiva. and 2) it also comes from a thought about in my "mothiva gets fired "au,"" she at some point going out and about with Leif (disguised) and them running into Muze. Mothiva recognizes Muze instantly of course and is pissed off about being reminded of her everything about her (especially now that she's doing just fine while Mothiva's having a crisis). And then on top of that, since Leif has no reason to try and conceal it, it gets dropped that Leif and Muze are 'cousins or whatever' which has Mothiva all WHAT and internally freaking out now]
