You...are aware that people who are both men and women are allowed to be gay, right? And lesbian? Their other genders doesn't cancel their connection to womanhood, or manhood, or whatever else they id with. They are allowed to be gay despite their fem-alignment, and they are allowed to be lesbian despite their masc-alignment.

It comes from these weird online spaces that the standard to be gay or lesbian is to be a "non-woman" or a "non-man," which is inherently transmultiphobic and...extremely ahistorical. And completely misunderstands nonbinary identity. So if you're both then you just don't belong anywhere I suppose.

I don't know if anyone reads Remarried Empress, but it's horrifying and fascinating to look at the fandom's reactions to flawed female characters.

The premise is that an enslaved woman is found by an Emperor, who then takes her as a mistress to the discomfort of his wife. He then proceeds to let his mistress flounder in high society, uneducated and out of place in a social game that could ruin her. The story focuses on the Empress' reaction to her husband's extra relationship and emotional neglect of their marriage and while the fandom rightly loathes the Emperor for this...... they hate his mistress. Instead of being a woman desperate for stability, unsupported, and manipulating her way into a high position after literally being raised as a slave, she's just some bitch. Even when the Emperor is responsible for all the conflict in the story and she has every reason to act the way she does.

It's wild. She's not a great person, but she's a fascinating and sympathetic character but her fan nickname is literally "Trashta" like.... come on??

LEONA, JAMIL, AND VIL IN THE LOUD CATAGORY?!?! 👀👀👀 pls,,,elaborate, you put them in a row too like the torture 🥵

I imagine Vil is going to be unabashed in his expressions. He sees no shame in being loud, and if your relationship with him isn't a secret of course he's going to want to flaunt it. He's proud of you and the relationship he has with you, so why should he limit that in bed? Also, I just think Vil can be dramatic and bratty in bed sometimes and so there are moments where he's louder than he usually is.

Jamil and Leona are within the same sub-category of fucks you so good that others nearby can hear the bed creaking and the headboard banging against the wall. Leona just doesn't care; he's shameless like that, so all of Savanaclaw is going to know he's getting laid. He growls a lot and if he really loses himself in sex those growl-moans of his can get quite loud. <3 but also when Leona's in the mood you're going to need help walking afterwards and everyone's going to know who rearranged your guts lol. That, and Savanaclaw's layout is open and many beastfolk have impeccable hearing, so if they don't hear the bed creaking or Leona's groans then they're definitely going to hear you.

Conversely, Jamil isn't one to make much noise verbally. He's more likely to be quiet, grunting or groaning softly in your ear. But he has a tendency to fuck you roughly when he's in the mood to do so (which is more often than you'd think because being Kalim's servant is both irritating and exhausting; and the bedroom is one of the few places Jamil has control), which often results in the bed making more noise than he does simply because the pace he sets is brutal and relentless. He often pushes your face into the sheets to muffle your sounds so that no one will hear either of you, but if anyone listens close enough they can put two and two together after hearing the creaking bed and the sinful slap and squelch of skin on skin.

one of the most annoying things about fandom is the way people misunderstand ptsd and downplay the way it affects people and the characters they write. a lot of people misunderstand what it's like to live with ptsd but it's especially annoying when a character has ptsd and people immediately denounce it as unrealistic or childish. like wow ptsd is uncomfortable to witness and go through???? who could have predicted that trauma may have some effects that you are unable to romanticize. who would have thought! the amount of times i have seen characters be dismissed as evil or childish or even as a crybaby whatever thats supposed to mean because they have a realistic reaction to death is. bizarre!!!

yknow something that's kinda interesting to me Trolls band together gave us villains that perfectly hit on a few different trendy topics of conversation completely by accident.

first of all they have such appealing designs, super cunty and classically evil in the way everyone has been saying they miss in animated villains. They also have an INCREDIBLE villain song. Perfect contrast to people's disappointment with the villain in Disney's Wish.

But on top of that. THEIR WHOLE THING IS THAT THEY'RE PLAGIARISTS who literally steal other people's talent to get famous and claim that they're working hard for it. This came out a little less than 3 weeks before hbomberguy posted his plagiarism video and turned the current topic of conversation to calling out plagiarism.
