At long last, my analysis on the down fall of the cartooning industry.
Cartoons have long been a medium of storytelling for all ages. You’ve got things ranging from Dora the Explorer to Family Guy.
And you’ve got all the in between’s that (while not rated for all ages) everyone can watch. Like Miraculous and The Owl House.
Cartoons (or animated series) as a whole have always been made for everyone. The use of beautiful and fluid animation is a great way to draw in viewers and get them engaged. And then in most cases, the plot comes through and gets viewers hook, line, and sinker.
Unfortunately as this form of storytelling gains popularity, the stigma around it continues to grow. That stigma being that Cartoons or animated series are only for children.
The idea surrounding that stigma is false. You wouldn’t let a child watch shows like Family Guy or South Park or even Camp Camp. And those are cartoons.
With the rise of more child friendly cartoons though, the misconception continues to rise as well.
The most prominent example of this in the Modern Animation Era? The Owl House.
Despite the creator, Dana Terrace herself, tweeting about her target audience for this show, many still believe that this show is for kids only.
This was only proven false though when Kids weren’t tuning in though. In fact, a majority of Owl House fans consisted of people ages 13-25. Not the audience Disney expected.
Unfortunately it wasn’t the audience they wanted either. In 2021 Disney announced it would be canceling the show and shortening its third and final season into three, hour-long specials.
A lot of Fans (and even the creator herself) speculate it has to do with Homophobia seeing as the show featured Disneys first WLW/ Sapphic couple in a children’s cartoon. And while I think that definitely contributed to their decision, I think there’s a bit more to it than that.
The Owl House, from the get go, set itself apart from other Disney Series. It jumped in with its darker concepts and art styles. The color pallet was different from Disney’s typical pastels. The character was relatable to audiences and portrayed the struggles of growing up different and weird.
Then, after a good Season 1 A, the second half came in. Here’s when the plot developed. This is where I believe Disney began to have problems with it.
Because of the complicated storyline and development of actual plot they couldn’t just air it on the Disney Channel on cable.
Which means they couldn’t get children to sit still and watch when it was on. Which means less people watched the Disney Cable channel.
Essentially what is happening is Disney as well as other streaming and Cable services are “kidyfying” Animation to make it cable worthy for children.
Hence The Owl House “not fitting their brand” and being cancelled while shows like Big City Greene and The Loud House have been, and traditionally are, aloud to run for multiple seasons one after another.
And shows like Infinity Train and The Owl House get cancelled or shortened.
I believe the act of doing this will truly be the downfall of the cartoon industry.
By reducing cartoons and animation to be kids only your depleting 75% of your audience. The 75% that is able to go out and buy mercy or go to see movies produced about the shows or convince adults to continue paying for services to watch these shows.
They’re killing their biggest sources of revenue and with it killing one of the greatest forms of story telling through television.

How do you feel about Liane Cartman? I see a lot of debate about her character and how she's impacted Eric, so I'd love to know what you think! Also love your art, it always puts a smile on my face when I'm stressed out :) <3
I’m fascinated by Liane as much as I pity her. Her character was the byproduct of Trey’s lasting grief over his cheating fiancé (of the same name) and in the early seasons, her one dimensional attitude was just a surface level explanation why Cartman starts out as a brat. All characters are a tool to convey the message or feelings of the author, but Liane more than any other character to me, is a literal representation of Trey’s embitterment.
But as Trey got over that grief, it reflected in Liane’s portrayal. She’s not just a whore, doing drugs if she’s not tending to eric’s demands or cooking. We start to get hints that she’s artistically and musically inclined, that her love for Cartman is overly saccharine (pet names, babying) as much as it is transactional (“if you go to the ice show with me, I’ll give you a toy”) if not hinted to be conditional (hesistance in assuring she loves cartman regardless if he’s ginger or not, her asking if it’s too late if she can abort an 8 yr old). But somewhere down the line… I wanna say tsst, or coon trilogy… she’s tired of putting of with Cartman and starts to resemble other south park female characters that are fed up with their male counterpart for their incompetency or moral failure (such as wendy or sharon). That character transition is bumpy in my eyes, and with the implication she’s given up her “adult tutoring” to fully take on the responsibility of parenting Eric, trying to get a stable job and seemingly no longer taking drugs, I question what it is of her we’re left with. Whoredom and poor parenting is the foundation of her character, after all.
At the very least I’m glad the show/ liane has the self awareness to verbally acknowledge she hasn’t been a good parent (Shots). And I appreciate her talking directly to the crowd of sp and therefor us in saying that at least now, she’s trying. It made me realize that like Eric, she’s received little sympathy from her peers and even less grace in her efforts to change.
I don’t know why Liane’s parenting is a topic of debate when SP shows us that her life is lonely, she bore a child she didn’t want but kept to treat as a friend than a son, who’s lifestyle choices made her irresponsible to raise a child. All of which contributes to Cartman’s rancid behavior. This isn’t subtext, or reading between the lines, or overwritten canon. From season 1 to now, this is what we know of Liane.
I’m not opposed to the modern shift in her portrayal as long as she is written with solid personality traits to keep it grounded. To keep Liane, well, Liane.
But that’s it isn’t it? of the 25 years we’ve known her, we don’t really know who Liane is other than the few things outside of sex she likes. And with the focus of Cartman and Liane in overarching stories like the hotdog arc, I think adding depth to her character and mapping out who she is would enrich these stories, especially in light of Cartman seeming to finally, belatedly, apologize for his actions (panderverse).

Why Scott is a Better Rival for Eric than Kyle
Tumblr media
Obligatory disclaimer: these are my thoughts, not meant to offend anyone, etcetera, etcetera… and just my opinion. Feel free to have your own, or to disagree.
Even though I have these numbered, they’re not necessarily in order of importance.
Also, for this post I’m counting “Tenorman’s Revenge” as canon.
1. Scott is a larger threat
In his initial appearance in STMD Scott might not have seemed more than a quick-witted but simple bully who scammed a younger kid for $10, but upon his return in season 14 and in the video game released a couple of years later, he proved to be much more than that.
Not only did he re-organize the Ginger Separatist Movement and picked it up from where Eric had left it, basically making the other gingers his servants, he also made dozens of fully functional robots (some of them maybe even more than 10 feet in height and some having a completely realistic human appearance).
Of course over the course of the series Kyle has proven to be smart a lot of times too, but when it comes to going up against Eric he doesn’t seem to have the motivation or the ability to gather as many resources or as much help to fight against him.
2. Kyle is somewhat overused
(Boy, if I’m getting backlash about something here it’s going to be this…)
25 years is a lot. During these 25 years Eric has had a handful of schemes that directly or indirectly involved Kyle. Whenever an episode is centered around a fight between Eric and Kyle it basically comes down to a format where Eric has a scheme of sorts and Kyle tries to stop him because he believes it’s morally wrong (and or rare occasions Kyle concedes because he teams up with Eric, like in the Crack Baby Athletic Association).
Sure, it can be an entertaining formula, but with South Park having so many seasons it’s bound to get repetitive at some point – if it hasn’t already, for some people.
In the meantime, Scott has not appeared in the show since season 14 (almost for 13 years) while his last words before he disappeared promised a return. Any time for him to be brought back would be convenient, and there are dozens of possibilities a plot with him could turn out. There are still so many things to explore with his character, so many routes that can be taken, so much depth that can be given to him.
On top of that, Scott’s and Kyle’s motives for going up against Eric are vastly different, so I do think such a change would be refreshing. Usually Kyle objects to Eric’s plans because they clash with his morality, while Scott seemed uncaring about morality from the start, and now has a vendetta to settle with Eric.
Which brings me to my next point.
3. Scott’s rivalry with Eric is more personal
Yes, Eric and Kyle have been “friends” for years, they’ve been through a lot together, but a big part of their rivalry is Eric insulting Kyle and Kyle defending himself, or Kyle trying to stop a scheme that has hurt or exploited people. Such actions on Kyle’s part do not have as much of a direct correlation to Eric as Scott’s actions do.
Ever since STMD, it’s clear that Scott has made it his life’s goal to get his revenge for what Eric did to him. Everything he does involves (or aims to involve) Eric some way or another. He doesn’t seem to care what Eric does outside of having killed his parents. He doesn’t care about what Eric’s moral code is outside of him, unlike Kyle, who mostly tries to defend both himself and any other people Eric intends to harm in some way, like Heidi.
On top of that, after 201, we also know that Eric and Scott are brothers, so there’s another layer that makes their dispute even more personal, while Kyle has no relation to Eric.
4. The payoffs with Scott are higher
Be it Eric’s complete victory in STMD or any of Scott’s (thus far) unsuccessful attempts at revenge, the stakes are higher, and the overall experience as a viewer gives you the impression of being more grandiose.
The second (and last) time he appeared in the show he gathered almost half the town to witness Eric’s reaction as he revealed who his real father is – a mystery discussed since season 1, a question that had been nagging Eric nearly his whole life. Even when he did something as childish as to steal Eric’s Xbox hard-drive, in order for Eric to get it back he had to fight Scott’s army of robots, had to chase him quite literally to Hell, Heaven and back.
In one of the episodes that depicts Eric and Kyle’s relationship well, Tonsil Trouble, all Kyle did was threaten to “break everything Eric owns”, when he learned Eric had just infected him with AIDS. The most “extreme” action he has taken against Eric that comes to mind is the plan he constructed in the end of Le Petit Tourette. (But I could be wrong, you can let me know if there’s something more.) In any case, his plans are still not quite on Scott’s level.
5. Scott’s dynamic with Eric is more unique than Kyle’s with Eric
Unpopular opinion, I know.
A lot of people find it difficult to define Eric’s relationship with Kyle. They’ve been hanging out together ever since they’ve been in pre-school, yet Eric hates Kyle, and it’s obvious Kyle more often than not does not enjoy having him around. It’s safe to say Eric is obsessed with Kyle at times, while Kyle for the most part does not interact with him unless he is somehow forced to, directly or indirectly. Despite all that, they have saved each other’s lives in the past.
It certainly is a special dynamic these two have, and one that can be pretty satisfying to watch. But it isn’t unheard of. Half-friends half-enemies (bear with me for simplifying it down to that) are not new as a trope or as a dynamic.
But Scott and Eric?
I don’t know about you, but I struggle think of a hate relationship as intense as theirs, especially one between siblings. Eric’s dislike for Scott was so strong it made him hate all ginger people, while Scott has let his persistence with revenge take over his life. He had to be treated in a mental hospital because of what Eric did to him, and it looks like he has since been unable to think of anything else besides him.
If Scott hadn’t pushed Eric as far as he did and Eric didn’t end up feeding him his parents, Scott probably wouldn’t have discovered their biological relationship in the first place. They’re brothers, yet they’ve never had an ounce of brotherly love for each other and most likely never will. They’ve never shared what could even be remotely considered a civil family moment. They only emotion they feel towards one another is unadulterated hate. Eric (a pretty lonely child, if the conversations he had with his stuffed animals are anything to go by) learns he has a brother, yet he is also the person Eric hates because he has humiliated and tricked him in the past, while said brother wants nothing more to do with him than to kill him.
They’d both do absolutely anything to destroy each other, and taking everything else into consideration, I do believe this is a dynamic that at least is much rarer.
   +Bonus:
I also love Scott very much and I need to see him come back again. (I like him much better than Kyle.)
And I don’t think his return should equal the obligatory erasure of Kyle’s interactions with Eric. Maybe they could both team up to fight against Scott.
Or the three of them would make up for a funny rival triangle: with Eric being obsessed with Kyle and Scott being obsessed with Eric, but Eric being mostly indifferent towards him, unless he becomes quite the serious problem, and he has no choice but to confront him.
Plus, I guess I’m just a bit tired of seeing a lot of people saying that Kyle is Eric’s “one true rival”.

Bingles Lore: There is an about 25% chance that any given 'celebrity guest' will be a completely made up person treated with the weird stilted manner of a real life celebrity the viewer is supposed to recognize. There is a 50% chance they will be a hyper obscure micro-celebrity too small to even have a wikipedia page. The remaining 25% are invariably treated horribly by the majority of the Bingles with no explination.
Rejected, but only because I want to steal the only funny joke that South Park had where in the early seasons every celebrity guest would always be playing an animal character that does not speak.
They were such cowards for not keeping that up, among other reasons, and I would be so happy if The Bingles were praised for a funny bit that was just outright stolen from a worse show.

My response to Bloom’s video on Pip, which I find to be very disingenuous to him as a character and his purpose within SP. This is a comment I wrote out which is on the video itself, but there’s some points here that I think are relevant to the tumblr fanbase as well. May need to watch this utterly painful video first to get where I’m coming from (godspeed) but still:
1, Hate Pip all you like, I really find it disingenuous to compare Pip to Butters. Matt and Trey's intent for both characters was wildly different from the get-go. "Even though they essentially fill the same role" as a statement not only disregards what Pip was was created to do, but also Butters and his development. It also doesn't make any sense to consider TGNIAHT as the "passing of the torch" because Pip was still a character long after that episode, and Butters didn't replace him in any way, shape or form. "Character that the main 4 push around/don't like/throw under the bus" is not a singular archetype that belongs to any one character. If you're going for that angle, up until very recently, Scott had the same amount of relevance and character development as Pip-- and last time I checked, everyone seems to like him well enough. You could boil him down to "kid they don't like who has diabetes and they make diabetes jokes at him haha funny" and that was IT.
2, South Park characters, as a whole, have a very fluctuating set of character traits because M+T are making a comedy show above all else. They will shoehorn just about anyone into a role and make them do something previously considered OOC just for the sake of a joke. Pip being the butt of the joke in that manner (in relation to your statement that despite the jokes being funny you still feel him being empty) is EXACTLY the point of what early sp was, and still in some way is to this day. We've now got 25+ years of solidity for some of these boys' characters, and they still pull things out that surprise us in terms of what we think a character will or will not do. Pip being Pip, as he was, was exactly spot on for season 1-5 humor and characterizations. We're comparing apples to oranges with Butters since he's had YEARS more development time. Even on that note, Butters now is a completely different character than he was then.
3, I am part of SPHS, who made the iceberg from your previous video, so I do know somewhat what I'm talking about when discussing fandom trends and history-- we literally research this stuff, and I have been in this fanbase for years. Your response to the tumblr post was really weird and twisted completely what the person who posted was saying-- I read that post properly in it's entirety (which you don't frame, you cherry picked a small section), and I agreed with it. Pointing out a trend within the community as to who and where certain ideas are coming from is not making you out to be the bad guy. Like you said, you own that you have somewhat of an influence because of your YT channel, but there's also a lot of younger/newer fans looking at old episodes through season 23 rose colored glasses, who may just be using this as a justification.
Anyway, that’s my thoughts. Goodnight

everyday I am haunted by the fact I binged 25 whole seasons of southpark
like sincerely I am sorry aswell.
below is a rant about liane cartman and a shitty analysis on her character, if you wanna hear it feel free too press the keep reading!
if not skip this post!
anyway, since I watched like 25 whole fucking seasons of the shit storm that is southpark.
there are some parts that people who haven’t watched the whole series completely miss, which by fuck is fun to talk about.
anyway you know cartman? Yeah the racist antisemite of Uber awfulness????
Tumblr media
yeah anyway his mother liane cartman, IS EVEN FUCKING WORSE.
Tumblr media
you have to bear with me here while I explain some things, cartman as a character did not start off as a crazed nazi racist no he did not at fucking all.
he sucked and was a bully but like he was not racist or anything character wise yet that was a later addition lol
(watching season 1-7 is a fucking trip because you literally see in real time how Matt and Trey were like “let’s make cartman the worst”)
but like, liane??? SHE IS LITERALLY A NAZI AND HORRIBLE BEYOND HORRIBLE.
like, she seems like this pushover in the show that cartman is manipulating or something like it’s the furthest fucking thing.
she is literally single-handedly the worst fucking character, because she gets away with it.
like cartman is literally the epitome of what indoctrination and pipelines looks like, and it’s really fucking something to see him become this heinous horrible person. When you watch the show it’s just what the fuck is happening.
because liane is the fucking puppet master, she has every single person on her side and she is HORRIBLE.
liane made cartmans costume, liane told and taught cartman to be a literal nazi, liane is a fucking homophobe, like its fucking her.
because you literally canonically see the shit she says to cartman, she looks so fucking innocent out of context but she is the puppet master of the whole stupid show.
like literally when in the post covid special cartman hits the fucking road and leaves liane and south park behind he fucking changes big time. Having unlearnt a lot of shit and settled down got married had kids became A FUCKING RABBI like it’s out of left fucking field.
and he wholeheartedly did change, and it’s such a comedic moment and honestly telling of fucking liane.
she is a manipulative, bigoted, horrible human being.
like it’s not even subtle it’s overt.
like, alot is off screen but like why is there no liane hate she is single handedly the antagonist of the show.
every time I see like people who don’t really know her character talk about her like she’s some damsel in distress I die inside because she is LITERALLY CANNONICALLY horrible.
she is a antisemitic, racist queerphobic piece of shit.
she LITERALLY OUTRIGHT SAYS THE SHIT.
and cartman being a fucking asshole kid, gobbles it up and spews her own words at his friends. He understands literally none of it, but he keeps saying what she told him.
like UGHHHHH
I’m not a cartman defender man I’m just pointing out that liane is like 2x worse than him.
again, cartman started out as a normal ass kid stupid a bully but mostly normal.
and like you literally see lianes fucking presence in how he functions and works and talks, like every single thing he says, is things liane says covertly.
like UHGHGGHHGGHHGHHH
like, to give cartman like one thing. He does not deserve a high, mother who literally lets him get fucking all types of abused and neglected.
everything else is on him, but like fucking liane sucks.
especially early liane she’s not even hiding it, she’s fucking jovial about her sons genocidal rampages.
she literally cannot imagine her son without her manipulation and babying, (as seen in “Tsst”) like she’s horrible.
she looks like the victim but by hell is she, she’s literally a nazi! She’s LITERALLY CANNONICALLY A NAZI!
like, butter’s parents are horrible.
but liane is just another level, like she is the worst of them all.
like, honestly cartman’s anger at her is fucking justified.
SHE LITERALLY LEAVES HIM TO DIE on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, wether she was high, preoccupied with being a sex worker, or any of the other bullshit.
(Btw no shade to both sex workers or drug addicts, you are not liane cartman from SOUTHPARK this is not about you lol)
like she is AWFUL, and cartman is a reflection of her.
like I can’t believe people are liane defenders like fuck her canonically.

This was fun, bingo by @2aryn2tar at twitter thank u.
Tumblr media
Wowzie a straight line, an indication this season was good.
They reference old South Park - Well I mean....Kyle's gay little speeches came back in not one but two. ( Cupid ye / Worldwide privacy tour. )
They mention the queen/ pope's death - They only mention the queen and I'm sorry but I laugh on how her body was placed in the coffin ( worldwide privacy tour. )
They mention tiktok - They did and it was terrifying...in an entertaining way ( Cupid ye )
More gay things happen - Stan Marsh I know what you are.. ( Cupid ye ) + Rick and Garrison things ( Spring break )
outdated joke/ meme - Is dikinbaus can be considered being part of this. ( Dikinbaus hot dogs )
Episodes focus mostly on the kids - 4/6 in this season focuses on the kids AND I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY YESS.
Randy is annoying again - What do you expect from this. ( Japanese Toilets and Spring break )
The whole season is actually really good - Definitely better than season 25 I enjoyed each episode and most people agree with me.
Cartman says something offensive - Ehem ( Cupid ye )
A character is killed off - I mean the doctor died and he's a character despite it being his debute soooooooo ( Japanese Toilets )
Bonus: My personal episode rankings these season • Dikinbaus Hot Dogs • Deep Learning • Cupid Ye • Worldwide Privacy tour • Spring Break • Japanese Toilet

If you're not on multiplayer your allies wont disappear after a battle, one will literally just die
Its also incredibly short
And Stan isnt actually evil.
South park is literally rotting bro
Like... 6 episodes a season and 2 specials
I HATED SEASON 25 OKAY
:3 im glad the creators wanted to try something different but... this was terrible when compared to Stick of Truth and The Fractured but Whole. It doesn't feel like a south park game, just a fighting game with south park characters and voices.
Uh 4/10 cuz it was fun in some places but highly disappointing and if you plan to buy it later on, DONT.

The Main character was relatable to audiences and portrayed the struggles of growing up different and weird.
The 75% that is able to go out and buy merch or go to see movies produced about the shows or convince adults to continue paying for services to watch these shows.
They’re killing their biggest sources of revenue and with it killing one of the greatest forms of story telling through television.

RANDY MARSH IS A CLONE lets talk about one of my favorite south park characters - randy marsh! or rather, about how much he has changed through all 25 seasons, turning from a geologist and a loving father into a selfish drug addict. the main question is - what caused him to change? (spoiler: it's not because of weed)
my friend came with a theory that randy, who we see in recent seasons, is actually a clone. initially it was just a joke, but i tried to seriously look into this theory and we came up with a conclusion, that it really fits into events of the show. now we will chronologically look through all the things, which have happened to randy, based on our hypothesis.
at first, randy is shown as an ordinary middle-aged man. he has a wife and kids, his job is a geologist and his character is pretty phlegmatic and apathetic. randy is hungry for public approval and admiration, so he fills this need with pretty common ways - benefits the society with his geologist work. he's not a perfect father, often expressing indifference towards stan's problems, but nothing out of ordinary. he's a simple man.
the 302 episode "Spontaneous Combustion". this episode plays a big role in our theory. the citizens of South Park start to randomly explode and randy is the one to come up with a solution, despite being a geologist and not having much knowledge in human anatomy. randy is awarded with a noble prise, which frustrates his opponent - doctor mephesto, who thinks the prize should go to himself for his seven assed Galapagos Turtle. he gets revenge on randy by blaming him for the arising global warming. the man falls into despair, his prize gets taken away, but thanks to kyle, stan and the Bible (could there be any religious subtext?) he saves the town once again. everyone's happy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but mephesto wasn't shown. what's his reaction? is he mad for not getting his vengeance? or.. did his revenge succeed?
despite mephesto being known for his many-assed animals, in episode 105 we see his new creation - stan marsh's clone. this clone was very flawed and unintelligent, but his son worked on it for the most part. anyhow, mephesto is capable to create a human clone and he already practised on randy's close relative - his son. doctor could've actually create randy's clone behind the scenes, replacing the real one. real randy is either dead or was kidnapped by mephesto.
Tumblr media
now let's see what exact changes did "randy" go through. in my opinion, all notable traits of our new randy marsh (the clone), such as selfishness and alcohol/drug addiction, were present in the real randy, but were far less severe. these flaws became the key part of clones character, progressing as the show went on; he turns into a more unbearable man. but the clone seems to have its own temperament - he became more hot-headed, comparing to the real randy, and is way too fanatic and immature. overall, the clone acts differently, even in his manner of speech.
episode 308 "Two Guys Naked in a Hot Tub". it's hard to tell if the actual randy had a repressed attraction to men, or it's just the clones trait, but that doesn't matter. the events of the episode can hardly be called abnormal, but the plot is interesting - it's realistic and could've possibly happen to an ordinary person. randy is shown to have a familiar to the viewers temperament, unlike in first seasons or the crucial 302 episode.
episode 616 "My Future Self 'N Me" - randy cuts off mans hand (without particular reasoning). it is also necessary to note that his attitude to marijuana is rather skeptical and he's afraid of stan becoming a drug addict.
episode 914 "Bloody Mary" focuses on randys developing alcoholism, selfishness and infantilism.
episode 1109 "More Crap" - randy breaks the record of his most largest crap. should i add anything else?
episode 1206 "Over Logging" reveals randys unusual sexual tendencies, featuring proclivity for zoophilia, which affirms in season 24.
episode 1403 "Medicine Fried Chicken" - here randy really loves weed and is ready to obtain testicular cancer for it. throughout the show, his love for drugs becomes stronger and more uncontrollable.
episode 1414 "Creme Fraiche" once again touches the topic of randys sexuality; he develops a food fetish, becoming obsessed with it.
throughout all these episodes randys egoism, obsession, addiction tendencies progress. the climax of all his traits - things he goes through after moving to Tegridy Farms. i feel like they don't require further explanation..
next thing i want to discuss is unusual physical characteristic or even superpowers randy possesses, that have appeared in last seasons. it is another proof of randy being a clone.
2401 "The Pandemic Special" - for some reason, not many people joke or discuss this episode, but it plays a major role in our theory. randys DNA not only literally caused the covid-19, but also served as a cure to it. this is not a typical thing for humans organism to have.
in 2506 "Credigree Weed St. Patrick's Day Special" randys superpowers are shown for the first time, which he uses to escape from the prison. he just shoots rainbows with clovers, nothing strange about that.
"South Park: The Streaming Wars Part One" - in this special his superpowers took a hold of him, randy turns into his second (after lord) female alter-ego - karen. he causes chaos, while his egoism and racial prejudices progress even further. his insanity and sudden destructive superpowers even lead to amnesia. his "magic" became different, more devastating, comparing to his leprechaun persona.
i think it's important to put forward this theory right now, when the second part of streaming wars was released not too long ago. this exact special made it clear, that the whole show and characters (including randy-clone) understand, whats happening to him, while mocking fans for hating Tegridy Farms and asking to bring "the old randy" back. but that randy is gone. weed didn't cause randy to change, he kept the mayhem going even while being sober. because that wasn't even randy marsh. it's just that the show prefers to focus on mephestos creation, spiraling out of control.

Season 1 Summary and Character Introductions
You find yourself in a corn maze, following the sounds of rustling among the corn as you approach an opening. The corn sinks into the ground immediately and almost like a pop-up book, trees and bushes rise from the ground. Their wood is purple and the leaves are black. The only thing familiar is the deep green of the grass on the floor. As you take one more step forward you see a house pop up in the distance and follow the path that takes you there.
Upon walking in, you come across stairs and shelves that tower over you. This was a workshop, and it was busy. Books flew overhead before putting themselves back into their place. Tiny wax men were hauling Potions and herbs up small ladders to higher shelves. The one thing that interested you was the gentle humming in the distance.
As you followed it, you walked through a small hallway to see a woman sweeping and humming to herself. As she noticed you, she smiled and let go of the broom, which continued to sweep itself. You followed her as she lead you to the front desk.
???: Hello, sweetie! Welcome to Wonderland. Why don't you have a look around?

Season 1 Summary
A few years ago, two people went missing. Flora Grimrose and Elodie Ravenswood. To Azrael, Flora was a friend, and Elodie was her sister. To the rest of the party, Ruby Goldcrest, Crimson Valdex, and Manea Grayson, Elodie was also a friend. After they had disappeared, a search was sent out. They looked for over a month, to no avail. A week after they called off the search, they were declared dead. A funeral was held for the two, but none of the party could give up on them. After the funeral, you all met up. You discussed what could have happened to Flora and Elodie. Azreal was the key to this conversation. If there was a pattern in the two's actions, maybe they could find out where their friends were. Azreal notes that they went out together the night they went missing. So, they start from there.
Over the next 5 years, the party found traces of magic. They learned their own spells and began practicing magic in their own ways. Crimson found he could control and help plants grow, Ruby found that her specialty was in time manipulation, Manea sought out answers and realized they could see the future, and all the while Azreal tried to sort out their feelings, they too found they could feel other's emotions. While practicing magic, they found different ways to communicate with Elodie, which gave them hope. They traveled to other dimensions and fought off demons to find their friends. Eventually, they found the perfect spell to take them to Elodie and Flora.

Ruby Goldcrest
Name: Ruby Goldcrest Age: 25 Pronouns: She/They Introduction: Heya, the names Ruby Goldcrest! I like a lot of things like cooking, writing, and reading, just to name a few. I've got cool time powers and stuff! I can't really go forward or backwards but I can pause and slow it down. Not as cool as time travel but I make do. If you were to ask for my opinion on the disappearances, the whole thing kind of messed me up a bit. And by a bit, I mean a lot... Especially after the search was called off and the two were concluded dead. It uhh, took me a while to get back into the swing of things before I continued searching with the others. Player introduction: Haiii !!!! My name's Octave (Tavi, pronounced Tay-Vee, for short) but I'll also accept Neon if we're close online friends. Warning- do not follow me I'm really fucking cringe (by that I mean I'm hyper-fixated on South Park AND Hiveswap) I draw???? I guess??? Like I don't draw actual full pieces often. I also don't know how to talk to people so yeah that's all.
@neonsquidz and https://twitter.com/neonsquidz?t=es2U7wqGt6fT-OeaZIMY3A&s=09 are Tavi's socials and they use any (prefered they/them) pronouns as well as any neopronouns.

Manea Grayson
Name: Manea Grayson Age: 24 Pronouns: They/Them Character Introduction: Hi I’m Manea Grayson I enjoy Stargazing, photography, painting, and Acting. My power is that I can see into the future although it has to be at night, under the moon. I'm only able to see it through flames although those around me can’t see it. The closer to a new moon it is the farther I can see into the future I can’t see everything though and I can’t choose what I see but it’s still helpful. My opinion on the disappearances? Well, I don’t really think it’s like those two to just disappear without saying anything to anyone, and especially with how long they’ve been gone it’s really worrying. I miss them and am hoping they're ok. Player introduction: Hello! I’m Dusty the name ‘Dusty’ comes from a bit of an inside joke that just ended up sticking. I like Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, drawing, writing, and just hanging out with my friends and getting into Shananogins. My current project of mine is a Rise of the tmnt alternate universe called "Back to the Past au" and I’m working on it with two other friends.

Azreal Ravenswood
Name: Azreal Ravenswood Age: 20 Pronouns: She/Her Introduction: Hey there! My name is Azreal Ravenswood. I like to draw and write! With my power, I can feel other people's emotions but I can't choose whose emotions I feel I just feel the emotions of everyone around me. It's a bit overwhelming sometimes so writing and drawing help me calm down! When Flora and Elodie went missing I was confused and upset with everything. I had a bad attitude and a short temper and tried to deny it even though I knew it was true. Player introduction: Hi! My name is PastelGum! I like to read, write, and draw just like Azreal.
https://www.wattpad.com/user/Aku_Miyabi_Asrahttps://www.tumblr.com/gayemohoe and https://www.quotev.com/Suki72497 are PastelGum's socials and they go by they/them pronouns.

Elodie Ravenswood
Name: Elodie Ravenswood Age: 26 Pronouns: She/her Character Introduction: ¡Hola! ¡Bienvenido a la casa de la magia! I'm Elodie, your host, and I will be sharing with you the most wonderful and wonderous parts of Wonderland! I'm bilingual since most humans who live in Wonderland speak Spanish. Mic and his family taught me it in the five years I've been waiting for my friends. Not much else to do when you're desperately trying to get back home, am I right? Anyways, my power is through the cards. I can see anything the cards see, and recently I found that I can communicate with others through the cards. Almost like a walkie-talkie! Oh? Do you want to know my opinion on the disappearances? That's silly to ask me, I was the one disappearing! Though... to be completely honest... I miss them. I miss Crimson and Manea... And especially Azreal and Ruby. Player introduction: Hi there! I'm Chris, I'm the one that created this amazing world and all the lore that resides in it. I play one of the main, mysterious characters and the party's childhood friend, Elodie Ravenswood as well as all of the other NPCs. I hope you enjoy this amazing world I have set up as we watch the story unravel into what I think will be an emotional rollercoaster for both my players, you, and me!
@pasteloctoz and https://www.quotev.com/Crazypasta are Chris's socials. He uses He/They pronouns.
Tumblr media
Crimson Valdex
Name: Crimson Valdex Age: 24 Pronouns: He/Him Introduction: Hi! I’m Crimson Valdex. I’m 24 and like to garden. Whether it be Planting Fruits, Vegetables, or just any plant in general! I can understand them, they’re all different in personality, accent, and voice. And they even do things for me if I ask! Also no, I can’t full-on control them it’s like asking someone to do something like “Yo, bro I forgot my keys in my car! Could you go grab them for me please?” even though you’d be locked out of your car they still did it for you because you asked them nicely. My opinion on the Disappearance? Oh, I just think it's odd that Elodie and Flora would just disappear like that, including with zero traces, and if you're asking yeah... I miss them. Player introduction: Greetingz! Im CD. And before you ask yes “CD” as in “Compact Disc”. A reason as to why I chose CD is because I have a CD collection consisting of mainly KoRn. I'm a huge fan of KoRn and genuinely if I had the chance to go to one of their concerts id go, no questions asked.
@r3dcd is CD's Tumblr and he goes by he/him pronouns.

English:
The three Russian kids from South Park Evgeniy Novikov, Vasiliy Morozov and Davey Solokov (Evgeniy and Vasiliy are my OCs, but Vasiliy is an unnamed background character who has appeared in Season 22 Episode 8 "Buddha Box" and in episode 3 of season 14 "Medicinal Fried Chicken" while Davey is canon and starred with Butters in episode 4 of season 25 "Back to the Cold War") along with their respective parents Sergei Novikov, Ilya Morozov and Dan Solokov (Sergei is an OC, while Ilya (who is a character that appears in the series but represented only with the name "Russian taxi driver" in episode 4 of season 18 "Handicar", so I decided to name him and background to his character and Dan appears in the aforementioned "Back to the Cold War") and Dan are South Park canon characters. Sergei "Seryosha" Novikov is a Russian Lieutenant Colonel who has served the USSR and currently serves Russia, has had a long history as a soldier and is very proud of his youngest son Evgeniy "Zhenya" Novikov, who wants him to follow in his footsteps, as he comes from a family of Heroes of the Soviet Union soldiers. Ilya Morozov is a former singer of the Perestroiska years and alcoholic Russian taxi driver, he is Sergei's best friend, while he is a widower since his wife and mother of his only son Vasiliy died in a car accident. Dan Solokov is a Russian railway worker and former sportsman who is close friends with Ilya and Sergei, while he wants to help his son Davey fulfill his dream of being a great horseman and take him to London. Obviously like their fathers when they were young, Evgeniy, Vasiliy and Davey make a very good trio of friends.

Media I've obsessed over throughout the years!!
2010-2019: My Little Pony: FIM
Was definitely my favorite show. I still love that show sm. Definitely has the most active fan base of them all. Making art for this show definitely inspired me to be the artist i am now. -- This show rased me, and raised me good. The older fandom is questionable, there's definitely some generational trama given to us Gen Z by them, but it was a very pro-lgbt space, and i loved this so sm.
Favorite character then: Fluttershy / Now: Trixie
2017-2021: DuckTales!! (Woo-hoo)
Always kinned Louie, and always will. I mean hell, i named my first MLP OC after Lena!! -- I really loved the episodes Quack Pack and GlomTales! (the latter if wich being because is was A. it Louie centered episode, and B. he proved to his mother that his scamming isn't all bad which i was proud of him for). I think i loved him sm just bc, well one, my favorite color has always been green, but two he's so relatable. Like the episode where he wasn't so sure and up to the idea of Della suddenly coming back and being his mom when he'd never even spoke to her once was just so good. Now i can look back and see how it was relatable, but even then when i didn't know what ik now i found him to be the most logical person in that situation.
Favorite character then: Louie (maybe i liked Lena a lot too?) Now: Louie
2019-2023: The Owl House
When MLP ended, this was the show that came in and swooped me up. As of writing, the shows only been officially over for about an hour. And while yes, DuckTales was there when MLP ended, it still definitely made me feel like something was missing. It did take about a season for me to realize TOH was filling that feeling but it got there. This show has probably effected me about as much as MLP. Like through the episode “Lost in Language”, apon watching some reviews and theories on the episode, i found out Luz was bisexual. At the time i hadn't really heard the term b4, but only about a day of finding it out, i was already comfortable going by it! It just fit too well!! I also got my preferred name/s from Emira and Edric!! Sigh, i could write sm about TOH since it literally just ended, but i don't want to be here all day.
Favorite character then: Hunter, Now: The Collector. // Kinnie: Edric and Emira all the way, baby.
2023-???: Welcome Home! @:3
And now we're here. I already know this will be the thing i obsess over for the next 3-4 years, i can smell it. If things wrap up before 2026, i know the fandom will still be alive. Like idk maybe I'll laugh at my naivete in like two years rereading this post but come on!! Everything lines up way too well!! When MLP ended, TOH was there. Not TOH is ending and, oh, what's that?? WH!? I don't think its too unrealistic to think this story can take 3 test to make.. look say DHMIS, The Mandela Catalogue, and the Walten Files!!
...And well i mean if not, South Park has been going to 25 years and strong!! So I'll probably love that.
Favorite character: Julie!!!! (And Frank) // Don't make me pick favs from SP bro they're all so great. :')
Bonuses!!!
2021(-2023?): Loki
Bc of this show, i discovered i was gender fluid :]] I also found a wonderful community from it, and i love all of those people i met!!.. except for J***. You know who you are. Lmao, jokes. But yea, I'm no marvel fan or anything, but i love Greek/Norse mythology.. so it's no surprise i love Thor and Loki as much as i do!
Fav: Owen Wilson.
2021-2022: Inside Job (+ the 2000 other animated shows Netflix cancelled after one or two seasons..)
Yes there are shows that ended justly, like Kid Cosmic and CentaurWorld. They only planned on having two seasons so they ended great and with a banger. But like,, Dead End, and Glitch Techs, and give BNA another season, goddamn it!!
Fav: Brett 1000%
2020(-2023?) And 2021-2022: Animatics and The Cuphead Show respectively
I decided to add these two after ranting in the hashtags bc i just had to. :] Not much to say, i rlly love these shows. Made some art in my sketchbook and sh/t.
Fav: Wakko // Muggsie.
There's so many more shows (on tv, steaming, or online!) I'd live to acknowledge but I'm bored as hell do I'm calling it. Buhbies!!

so far season 25 (hated by many) is being my favorite. since literally half of the chapters focused on children. and the other half in adults. Which is not happening with 26. (That everything revolves around the children of South Park) sometimes I think… that they gave us Randy's chapter, for people who want adult characters in the plots to shut up. (the final scene of that episode with Sheila,Darrel,Ned…etc also felt like do you want adult characters? here you go, and be happy because this is what you will see them this season. 4 seconds. and as background characters .
Please let there be an adult cameo this Wednesday. or that the final chapter of the season revolves around them. 🙏🙏🙏
PS: I don't hate the children's characters of sp. I just want a balance. a 50/50. Not 90% of chapters focused on children. (We'll see if it's not 95%) Compared to 5 or 10% of chapters focused on adults.
