thankfully my shitty MacBook Air is a-o-kay and doesn't make my eyes burn.
but literally every single other computer does, I have to fandangle with all the settings to make it slightly useable.
it hurts my eyes, I have vision problems I have to stare at the screen closely because most software DOESN'T MAKE THE TEXT BIGGER HUISYFUTXYJTKDFYLTFIYDUTKFYLTRDTUKYX
I am just suffering, crying from how much it hurts my eyeeeesssss
hot take but websites/apps/browsers not having a dark mode setting is a form of structural ableism. bright ass screens can be a trigger for migraines, seizures, and a whole host of other bad symptoms. people deserve to browse the internet without having to burn their corneas out

honestly share the info, my eye's feel like they are bleeding bc my stupid softwares don't have damned accessibility settings
Does anyone know if there's a way to dim white on my screen specifically? other colors are fine but no matter how far down I turn my screen light anything pure white or near white is still painful to look at so if there were any programs that could let me do that/mess with the balance and contrast on my screen in specific that would be a huge accessibility tool for me

Because I was two days ago old when I learned apparently they’re not supposed to look like that and I have an astigmatism. Was anyone gonna tell me?? So I’m on a trip with my robotics team and there’s only two “girls” (me, an enby, and a cis girl), so we get our own beds in our own room, but the guys are rooming four to a room, but there’s only two beds in each room. Which means that two guys are sleeping on the floor every night.
I’m not joking. They were literally arguing over who’s sleeping on the floor tonight (apparently they plan on rotating).
And I asked them “why don’t you just share a bed?” And they all gave me the same answer:
“No, that’s weird! That’d be gay!”
And I just looked at them and I decided to break the bad news to them
