A few weeks after the rebuilding of Casita, Bruno’s abilities cause a stir in the Colombian underworld, and a fierce assassin to be sent to retrieve him at all costs. A man who can read the future sounds like the ticket to finally taking control, and it’s not one that they intend to miss out on. Regardless of the human cost.
Can Bruno make it back to his family, or is he going to have to rely on being rescued? Really, there's only one option.

I am also a fan of found family so many of my fic recs will already have that included, so I'd definitely recommend checking out my other rec lists if you haven't already. If you have, I hope you can find something to read from this list!
Souls on the Shore by lovelyleias - This is a nice one featuring Annie and Johanna. It's post-Mockingjay so it's inherently a little sad, but hopeful too. It really highlights the bond between Annie and Johanna and how their shared experiences tie them together.
Josie by Shaylinne - This one is such a cool look at Johanna's life and especially her relationships with the other victors. It definitely leans into the found family theme (especially in the post-war setting, although Finnick lives) which makes it a really enjoyable read.
Right Till the End by deathmallow - This one focuses on Finnick and Johanna's friendship pre-canon and also incorporates some of the other victors. The victors camaraderie really shines through here, which I love.
Still 22 days left till the end of the world by kawuli - This is a great Finnick and Johanna found family one, and everything in this series has a lot of connection between Johanna and the other victors (mainly Finnick). It's dark but a great read, especially if you're interested in the victors in the Capitol pre-canon.
Mentorship by thankyoufinnick - This is a long and in-depth one about the relationship between Mags and Finnick. I love it and the found family is really strong here.
Wherever There Is You by BeesKnees - This one takes place while Annie is in the Capitol. It shows how she uses her relationships with the people she loves to keep her going. It's so beautifully done and I would definitely recommend it.
We Must Be Killers: Tales From District 2 by lorata - I don't usually venture far beyond Odesta fics but lately I have been devouring this series. It may not be exactly what you're looking for but I highly suggest giving it a try. The dynamics and relationships in this are incredible, not to mention the amazing District 2 worldbuilding.

Summary: “I don’t know about this,” Darius tries to insist while Hunter is already hopping onto the couch, brandishing a truly hideous hat, and aiming straight for Darius’ head. Darius ducks under, then to the side, sticks out his tongue but doesn’t dodge for the third time, even though he sees Hunter coming at him.
Luz had gotten Hunter practically jumping off the couch with excitement when she'd asked him if he wanted to "go get boba" (whatever the fuck that meant), and after Hunter had confirmed they were going to “the good one” and “not that one that’s popped up just because it’s a fad, the good one next to the thrift store” (whatever the *fuck* that means).
And Darius knew that he was going too, as soon as Hunter had turned around and grinned. Even though Darius would much rather have stayed on the couch, and even though his back and branded arm was smarting something fierce, when Hunter asked for something, Hunter got it. Simple as that.
Post-Day-of-Unity, Post-Collector, Post-Everything, Hunter introduces his father figure to boba and other Human Realm delights and against the backdrop of So Much Shit, they're both happy they exist and get to grab boba.

It’s the first anniversary, and even before this, Natasha knows Tony well enough to know that he doesn’t want to be in New York for it. Let other people give those bullshit emotional speeches filled with flowery adjectives and action verbs to the memory of a man that they screen-print on shirts instead of listening to what he had to say. Let them stand before the empty grave and weep.
Let them stand before the stupid monument that’s so phallic-shaped that if she pointed it out, he’d desperately try to bite down the laugh but she’d know that he was thinking it, too.
Let other people do that. Let other people stand around and mourn in the street. It’s all fake and unnecessary, and anyways, Tony doesn’t grieve that way. And neither does Natasha.
That’s why they’re in a small bar in France, sharing a drink instead.

Unfortunately, just like how Gotham draws you in and refuses to give you up: refuses to straighten out lives and let you leave town; how you leave only to find yourself standing back at the door, swearing it’ll be the last time. Unfortunately, despite all of the Joker’s intentions: the hair just grew back thicker.
Gotham wouldn’t stand for what happened to Jason Todd.
Jason Todd wakes up gasping for breath in a plush coffin.
But in this life, Gotham doesn’t stand for the desertion and desolation of Her favourite son: in this life, she gives Her un-knighted protector a second chance some would argue he does not deserve. In this life, the people of Gotham notice when a boy crawls from the grave even if it’s a stormy night. Even if it’s Gotham, where weird shit goes to mingle.
Or: the citizens of Gotham actually notice a boy breaking out the grave and do their very best to get Jason back to his dad, who’s very determined to love Jason like never before.

hi!!! I've been going through your fics recs lists and I gotta say THANK YOU so much for having them sorted out so thoroughly and specifically!! I've only recently started to read Finnick / odesta fics and I can't wait to start new ones from the lists. I was wondering though, if you could rec (it can be from those lists already as I haven't read most of those yet) some fics that focus at least partly on Finnick's relationship with his family? reading BeesKnees' fics (his sisters there and the estranged bond with his father) and Playing the Game on ao3 (my favorite I've read yet! love the relationship with his father there too) I'm left aching for more of that, especially when so many other fics focus only on the capitol side of it all or just odesta (which ofc I still love both too, and I wouldn't mind at all fics including all these things too). but yes, I love the tension of his family knowing or not knowing about what truly goes on in the capitol vs Finnick handling that. anyway, sorry if this is too much a specific thing, but there's so many fics out there I just don't always know where to start! and tragically it seems there are no "Finnick's Father" or "Finnick's Sisters" tags to filter through on ao3 lol. thank you lots again!!!
Hi! I'm glad you've found the lists helpful, that's been my goal with those and I'm so happy you're finding odesta fic! So I also really like exploring Finnick's family and that tension, but unfortunately there's not a lot about his family because we know so little from canon. And most of his familial bonds come from people like Mags or Annie, who of course already know a lot about him. But I will see what I can find!
Scylla and Charybdis / A View From the Lists by Mithrigil, puella_nerdii - I can't recommend these two enough. I know I've mentioned them several times and I'll keep mentioning them forever because they're some of my favorite THG fics of all time. While there's definitely a lot of Capitol stuff, Finnick has a big family and they're quite a fixture of his time in D4.
Treading Water by sabaceanbabe - This one also has some great stuff with Finnick's family. The beginning takes place at the 3rd Quarter Quell announcement so as you can imagine, Finnick wants to clear the air on some things with his family. There are some great moments in here and it's definitely worth a read!
Feverish Misconceptions by Phoenixrising003 - I think this will really fit your request because it has a lot of outsider pov elements regarding Finnick's family. The chapters are titled based on the pov character, so you can easily look for Finnick's family interactions if that's what you're interested in.
The Letter by TheWalkingGrimes - This is more of a hypothetical take on your request but I still think it's such a poignant concept. I love the relationships Finnick has with others in this one and the way they have to work to rebuild.
Second Intermission: Lotan by Shaylinne - This work is part of a longer series but you don't have to read that series to understand this. It's from the point of view of Finnick's brother and it's such a great look at their relationship, so definitely check it out!

We finished a campaign on Tuesday run by yours truly. The party was named The Cause and it was a great three years, spent switching from lounge to lounge in our dorms and people coming and going from various clubs and other activities. It might not have been the most important game to anyone else, but it was great to be able to create and embrace and love everything that each person brought to the table. I'm so sad to have been forced to end it this early, but I'm so glad to have spent these past three years making something amazing with my friends. Thank you, players, for inhabiting my world.

Here’s something that the pamphlets say, but also don’t:
Jayce has a plant in the corner of his office that he knows he’s supposed to water. It’s a gift from Mel, and he doesn’t know why she entrusted him with it, but she did and now it’s not that he’s forgetting to water it; it’s that he’s walking into the room, noticing that it needs watering, but sitting down at his desk to knock some work out and swearing that he’ll do it when he gets up again.
But he doesn’t, because he’s just not like that. He pours over everything that’s late, and notices how the pile’s growing instead of shrinking, and he only gets up when he hears a crash and in the time it takes him to shove his ass off the chair and dart to the door, he’s already imagined four ways that Viktor could crack his head open on the kitchen tiles and that’d be the end of it.
