“We don’t need the boop button back, people need to use the interaction options we already have!”
Ok well then maybe y’all shouldn’t have spent the past couple of years complaining about Likes, about how they do nothing, about how insulting it is to get a like instead of a reblog!
Yes, reblogs ARE the lifeblood of the site and they ARE the only way to ensure posts reach new audiences since most users never look at the For You tab or “based on your likes” or whatever.
HOWEVER. You were never going to get anyone to reblog every single post that they like or enjoy or smile at. Maybe they just reblogged something similar. Maybe they’ve seen it on their dash five times today and don’t feel like cluttering up their followers’ dashes with it. Maybe they like it but don’t think most of their followers would be interested. Maybe they just don’t feel the need to display every post that ever made them smile on their own blog.
But now people feel awkward or guilty about liking a post without reblogging it. Now sure, some of the time that will lead to them reblogging something they originally weren’t going to, but most of the time it just means they’re not going to interact with the post at all, because they think liking it will just piss off the OP.
So don’t complain about people using the like button as a more passive way to interact and show appreciation, then turn around and say we don’t need a boop button to do that because we already have a like button.

Shion Madarame: Fix Her Daddy
Hey bunnies, I had an improptu inspiration and thought to gift a drabble about daddy Shion after a long time! I hope that you will like it and that we’ll find inspiration from something else together
Characther: Shion Madarame
Warnings: None, Fluff, Dad! Shion, Pregnancy, Kid Crying
Tumblr media
When Shion Madarame hears his daughter sniffling in her bedroom he seems clueless on what to do, he’s scared not to be the best to console his crying daughter that’s why he plans to wait for you to come back.
Chie Madarame, his young kid is always been a mommy’s girl and he knows, no, he is sure, that he can’t help his daughter calm down. But soon the crying becomes unbearable for the blonde man and decide to knock on his daughter’s bedroom, he sees the tiny blonde figure crying on the floor while hugging her stuffed doll. “Babygirl what happened?” Shion asks to Chie lifting her and holding her. The toddler turns and cry on her father’s chest and soon she calms down as he rubs her back, “Mimi lost her eye” Chie explains, showing her father that the stuffed doll with a loosing button eye and Shion sighs, “Oh no, we could always bu-” NO NONO NO, Chie shouts disapproving her father’s plan, “You need to fix her eye so she can be happy again”.
Shion is clueless, fix her? Sewing the button on the doll’s face is hard? This man doesn’t even now where to start, but seeing his daughter pout he can’t help but nod, taking a sight of the doll before going downstairs.
“Daddy needs to get prepared before fixing Mimi ok princess?” Shion asks and his daughter nods sitting next to him on the sofa, as he watches a domestic economy video and  get prepared with needle and thread. What you find when you come back home is a focused man and your sleeping daughter next to him, as he boops his tongue and try to sew back the doll. You can’t help but giggle and Shion turns to you with a proud smug, “Don’t tell me I’m not a good dad” you nod taking your daughter and bring her to her bedroom and when you come back you see that he finished, so you sit next to him and caress his thig lovingly. “Since you’re such a good father I’m sure that you would be glad to know that we’re going to have another one soon” Shion gasps, hearing the pregnancy announcement and hugs you, thinking about the almost horrific free afternoon became one of the best day of his life.

A Future With You
Now that the booping is over, how unfortunate that is, I can continue my scheduled prompts. This one is a time travel, annoyance to lovers ronance au that I didn't know I needed until my fingers slipped and I started writing it. If I had more time this would have been longer, but it's already over 3,400 words long, so I hope you enjoy!
Do you have any prompts yourself? Or do you want to dive into what I wrote before? You can read my previous prompts or send me some new ones.
“So, what exactly does this do?” Robin asked, pulling at a string that stuck out of the metal construction.
“Don’t touch that!” Dustin shouted. Robin put her hands up. “It’s a time machine. It can take you back in time.”
“Does it work?”
Dustin pulled up his shoulders. “I haven’t tested it. It should, but it’s hard to find definitive proof without going back yourself.”
“Can you go to the future too?”
“Theoretically yes. But you shouldn’t.”
Robin frowned. She was already thinking of going to a time where she could be herself. It seemed silly to not check out the future. “Why not?”
“You know the past. We’ve all been told about it time and time again. So, we know what is supposed to happen and we can make sure it happens. The effects of going to the past are minimal. But we have no idea what the future will bring. Seeing that and then coming back can seriously alter everything. One minor detail can create a snowball effect that destroys the world,” Dustin mimicked an explosion. “so, going to the future is not a good idea.”
“Got it,” Robin sighed. “No going to better times.”
“Are you saying you want to try it?”
“Sure, I’ve got nothing keeping me here.” Robin stepped into the metal construction. She doubted it would really work. It didn’t look like much. She’d just amuse Dustin so Steve wouldn’t yell at her and then she’d move on with her life. Next time she wouldn’t ask Dustin what he was up to.
“When do you want to go to, Robin?”
“Quick question, how will I get back?”
“Ah, of course. You’ll need this.” Dustin handed over a tiny black box.
“How does this work?” Robin turned the box over in her hands.
“Just press the button when you want to return to 1986 and it will take you back. Now, when do you want to go to?”
“1024, take me back as far as you can.”
“Alright, have fun.” Dustin pushed some buttons and turned a lever.
And then everything changed. Reality folded in on itself and Robin was in the middle of it. A kaleidoscope of colors around her with nothing to hold onto and so much to look at. Maybe she should have screamed. Maybe she should have worried about death and pain and suffering. But she just looked at the reds and yellows and blues and then she closed her eyes.
She collided with the pavement of an empty road. Nearly empty road. She was still catching her breath when a girl started talking to her.
“Are you alright? What were you trying to do? Kill yourself?”
Robin pushed herself upright on her elbows. “What are you talking about?” Her eyes caught the woman that was talking to her. She was crouching down next to Robin, her hair straight and long, falling down her shoulders. She had deep blue eyes and a sharp jawline. She was gorgeous.
“You just jumped out of that window, or something. You fell from high up. God, you must have broken something.”
“What year is it?”
“What year?” The girl looked puzzled. “You probably have a concussion. It’s 2024. April. Come on, I’ll get you to a hospital.” She was already pulling Robin up to her feet.
“It’s alright, I’m alright. My name is Robin. Robin Buckley.”
“Nice to meet you.” The girl gave her a tightlipped smile.
“What’s your name?” Robin asked. She allowed the girl to drag her away.
“Nancy.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Nancy.”
Nancy didn’t respond. She just kept walking towards an old fashioned station wagon. It wasn’t the type of car Robin had expected for the girl. Nancy looked like the type of girl who drove something smaller.
“I assure you I’m fine, Nancy. You don’t have to take me to a doctor.”
“You fell from God knows how high, I’m not taking any chances. The last thing I need is for someone else to die on my watch,” Nancy said with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
“Someone else?”
Nancy opened the car door on the passenger side, motioning Robin to get in. On her part, Robin merely nodded her head, saluted, and sat down on the car seat.
“How old is this car? 1983?” Robin joked. She had seen similar cars all around Hawkins. Back in 1986.
“It’s old. I got it second hand. It was cheap,” Nancy responded harshly.
“Did I come off mean or condescending or something?” Robin asked, fully turning in her seat to look at Nancy.
“No,” Nancy said, shaking her head, tightlipped smile on her face that screamed she was lying.
“Right. Sorry, it’s just you seem annoyed. You don’t know me very well. I don’t really have a filter or a strong grasp of social cues. So, if I say something that upsets you just know that I know it’s a flaw. Believe me, my mother reminds me daily.” She was rambling. Robin was rambling to this complete stranger who was so so pretty.
“Got it,” Nancy replied, quickly glancing over.
“Okay,” Robin stretched out the word. She felt uncomfortable. Nancy clearly didn’t want her here. She felt in her pocket for the black box. It was still there, right where she had left it. She looked out the window.
She should press the button, disappear back to her own time. Dustin had sent her in the wrong direction anyway. She shouldn’t even be here. But then her eyes caught on two girls walking down the street, holding hands. The one on the left leaned in to give the other girl a kiss on the cheek.
“Is that normal?” She pointed out the window.
Nancy looked over with a frown on her face. “You don’t think that’s normal?”
Robin groaned softly. “That depends on what you’re asking.”
“What are you asking?” Nancy was getting more and more agitated by the moment. Or at least by each word that came out of Robin’s mouth.
“I think there is nothing wrong with two women loving each other.”
“But you don’t want to see it?”
“That’s not it.”
“Then what is? What are you asking?”
Robin cleared her throat. “I’m asking if it’s normal for them to be so— so open about it. Is it normal for them to hold hands in public?”
“Why wouldn’t it be?”
“Where I’m from it isn’t.”
“And where are you from?” Nancy asked. For the first time she sounded more curious than irritated.
“I’m from Indiana.”
“We’re in Indiana.”
“Right, of course we are, I’m from a small town though,” Robin stammered out.
“Smaller than Hawkins?”
“We’re in Hawkins?” None of the buildings had looked familiar. It may have been 40 years since she lived in this town, but buildings were meant to last longer than 40 years.
“Yes, we are. Are you sure you don’t have a concussion? Or temporary amnesia?”
Nancy turned the car on to main street. Robin vaguely recognized where Melvald’s used to be.
“Where’s the Hawk? Or Family Video?” Robin sat up straighter. Melvald’s having closed down wasn’t that big of a shocker, but the movie theater and Family video were the places to be in 1986.
Nancy stopped the car in the middle of the road. Just slamming the brakes out of nowhere. She turned towards Robin with nothing less than a scowl. “The Hawk closed down five years ago, and Family Video didn’t make it past 2003. So, either you are playing a prank on me, or you have a lot of explaining to do, Robin.”
“Would you believe me if I told you that I’m actually from 1986 and that I travelled here via a homemade time machine a friend of mine made?”
“Prove it.”
“Alright, ask me anything you want to know about the past.”
“What?” Nancy frowned. “No, just show me your driver’s license or something.”
“I don’t have a driver’s license.”
“Why don’t you have a driver’s license?”
“Because I’m poor.”
“Of course, very convenient.”
“Actually, I wouldn’t say it really is,” Robin started. She saw the glare in Nancy’s eyes and stopped midsentence. “Oh, but I do have my Family Video card.” Robin pulled her wallet out of her pocket, retrieving the small rectangle and handing it over. “It has my name, date of birth and a picture.”
Nancy looked it over. Holding the card next to Robin’s face. “You’re from 1986,” Nancy stated defeated, handing back the card.
“Yeah, I am.”
“And you travelled here via a homemade time machine a friend of yours made.”
“Exactly. That went so much easier than it does in the movies.”
“This is ridiculous.”
“It’s even funnier when you take into account I really wasn’t allowed to go to the future. He was meant to send me into the past. But well, something went wrong and now here I am.”
“Funny? You think this is funny?” Nancy asked, sinking into her seat.
“A little bit.”
“A time traveler in my car.”
Robin smiled, hoping to convey some sense of kindness. The last thing she wanted was to come off threatening.
Nancy sighed loudly. “Alright, alright, we’ll figure this out.” She started the car up again and continued her route. “I’ll take you to my place for the time being until we figure out how to send you back.”
Robin’s hand reached for the black box. “Right, send me back,” she muttered. Nancy seemed to be muttering to herself, something Robin couldn’t properly hear.
Maple street looked exactly as it had in 1986. As if it had just gotten stuck in time. The house Nancy stopped in front of was one Robin recognized. She and her mom had visited it while it was up for sale. Of course, they couldn’t afford it. An old married couple ended up moving in.
“We’ll go around to the back. That way my mom won’t see you. We’ll sneak up the stairs. You are going to hide out in my bedroom for as long as we can keep you there. If it takes too long to figure this out, we might have to move you, but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.”
Robin saluted. Again. She felt like an idiot. Nancy led her around the house and up the stairs to her room. The entire room was very pink. Not how Robin remembered it. The walls were pink, the sheets were pink, there was a Tom Cruise poster.
“You have a Tom Cruise poster?” Robin laughed, walking towards it.
“That’s old.”
“Of course.” She walked around the room, trying to become accustomed to her new living quarters. There was a pink jewelry box on the dresser. When Robin opened it, she came face to face with a small, twirling ballerina. “There’s a tiny ballerina in here,” she said, delighted.
“Can you not touch everything?”
Robin put the jewelry box back down. Instead, she fell down on the bed. On those damned pink sheets. “Your room is very pink.”
“Perceptive.”
“You don’t seem to like me very much.”
Nancy didn’t respond. Her back was turned towards Robin. So, she couldn’t even read her expression. Not that she otherwise would have been able to make much of it.
“If you don’t like me, why are you helping me?” Robin asked, pulling a stuffed rabbit against her chest.
She was met with nothing but silence.
“Is it because of what you said earlier?”
“What did I say earlier?” Nancy’s shoulders tensed.
“That you wouldn’t have someone else die on your watch.” Robin toyed with the rabbit a little bit. “Who else died?”
“Is that any of your business?”
“I’m sorry, I just— I guess I’m just trying to understand.”
Nancy turned around, her eyes carried a sadness that hadn’t been there before. “My best friend died. Three years ago.”
“And you blame yourself?”
“It was my fault.”
“How so?”
“She drove me to a party, and I was too busy chatting up boys to realize something was going on. She crashed into a tree while she was driving home. Without me, because I left her there.”
“That sounds like you made a mistake you couldn’t have known was one.”
“What?”
“Well, you couldn’t have possibly known that leaving your friend at the party would result in her dying. So, while it sounds like you made a mistake, it barely is one. It definitely doesn’t sound like you killed someone to me.”
“It’s my fault she was even there.”
“My grandpa died of a heart attack.”
“What does that have to do with anything?” Nancy asked. She was looking at Robin with an unreadable expression.
“I’m going somewhere, I promise. So, my grandpa died of a heart attack. He had been visiting me and my parents for a couple of days. It was his 80th birthday and my mom wanted to celebrate big. So, we had this big party for him, and all was swell. He was supposed to leave two days later. But he ended up missing his train, he only ever traveled by train. Anyway, I didn’t know he hadn’t left. So, I had invited this girl over. We were sort of seeing each other. We were sitting on the couch, making out, when my grandpa came in. He was so shocked that his granddaughter was a lesbian that he died on the spot.”
“That almost sounds like a joke.”
“Wish it was. It happened last year. Or well, last year for me. 1985.”
“I’m sorry for your loss.”
“Thanks. But do you think I killed him?”
Nancy shook her head. “No, you couldn’t have known he would come in. And you definitely couldn’t have known that he would have a heart attack and die.”
“Exactly, and you couldn’t have known your friend with drive into a tree. You didn’t kill anyone, Nance.”
“No one has ever said that to me,” Nancy confessed, looking down at her feet with a small smile.
“Well, maybe that’s why I was accidentally send here. To convince you that you did nothing wrong. You were just being a teenage girl, Nance. You’re allowed to be a teenage girl.”
“Are you hungry?” Nancy jumped up from her seat and left the room before Robin could reply.
Robin turned to the rabbit in her hands. “You think she’s warming up to me, bud?” She moved the head of the toy in a nodding movement. “Yeah, I think so too.”
-
“Robin?” Nancy asked from her spot on the bed.
It was the middle of the night. Robin lay on the floor of the room on a pile of blankets. Her back would not forgive her for this any time soon.
“Yes?”
“Are you comfortable down there?”
Robin laughed softly. “Not particularly. But I’ll make do.”
“I was just thinking, this bed is big enough for the both of us.”
“You really are warming up to me then?”
“What?” Nancy sat up, her head and shoulders becoming visible to Robin.
“Nothing, just something between me and your rabbit.”
Nancy grabbed the toy. “Are you and Mr. Rabbit gossiping about me?”
“We wouldn’t dare. Mr. Rabbit was just comforting me. I thought you hated me, Nancy. I was so down in the dumps because of it. But Mr. Rabbit assured me you were warming up to me. Now I see that he did not lie,” Robin spoke dramatically. It reminded her of an audition she once did for a play at school.
“You’re an idiot, Robin Buckley,” Nancy said. The words didn’t quite surprise Robin, but the fondness in Nancy’s tone was shocking. “Come up here?”
Robin crawled to her feet and stumbled to the bed. “Thanks for all of this, Nance.”
“Anytime, Robin.”
-
When Robin next opened her eyes, Nancy lay half on top of her. The pressure felt surprisingly nice. The other girl looked peaceful in her sleep. Not a single wrinkle on that beautiful face. Robin could feel her breath on her neck, right where Nancy’s face was nuzzled closer to her.
“Are you staring?” Nancy said a few moments later. Her eyes still closed.
“Just a little.”
“Did you sleep alright?” Nancy finally opened her eyes, instantly untangling herself from Robin.
“I slept very well. Best sleep I’ve had in a while.”
“Yeah, me too.”
There was a soft blush on Nancy’s cheeks. Robin wondered if her own face matched.
“So, back to business. We need to find a way to get you back to 1986.”
Robin cleared her throat. “I need to confess something.”
“Oh?”
“We don’t need to find a way to get me back. I have a way to get me back.”
“Oh,” Nancy looked away. “Why didn’t you tell me yesterday?”
“Because I wanted a break from 1986. Because here I wouldn’t have to hide who I am. Because you are really pretty.”
“I’m really pretty?”
“Yes, you are, Nance,” Robin confirmed with a hint of amusement.
“And that contributed to you wanting to stay?”
“To be fair, that was the main reason. I knew that if I went back, I’d never get to see you again. It’s going to be hard to never see you again.”
“What if you stay?” Nancy asked hesitantly. Her fingers were toying with the sheets.
“I don’t know if that’s a good idea. Me being here would probably change the future, mess everything up. For you most of all.”
“Well, it already has. You fall from the sky, hit your head, and become the only person in my life to listen to me. You’ve set the bar so high for everyone else. And even if you leave right now, I’ll always know you were here. And I’ll forever keep thinking about what could have been if you had stayed.”
“Five minutes ago, you wanted to send me back,” Robin joked. Or at least she tried to joke. She wasn’t sure what to do. She thought of Steve, of Dustin, of her parents. They’d all be worried sick if she didn’t return.
She thought of Nancy. Of herself. She wondered if she could ever be happy in her own time. How long would it take for her to get this far? Would she ever get this far? She didn’t know her own future yet. Maybe if she went back, she’d just be going back to die. But if she stayed, if she stopped hanging on to time, she could be whatever she wanted to be. She could be happy.
“Am I asking too much? I’m totally asking too much. God, you’ve literally told me you were seeing someone. Now I’m asking you to abandon everything to start a life with a girl you barely know who is clearly filled with trauma in a time you’ve never lived in before. That is beyond too much to ask. Just forget I said anything.”
Robin got off the bed, she pulled the black box out of het jacket pocket and held it in her hand. “If I push this button, it’s supposed to take me back to 1986, back to the moment I left,” Robin explained. “But if you are serious about asking me to stay… God, Nance, if you’re being serious right now, I don’t think I can press this button.”
Nancy bit her bottom lip. Staring from Robin to the black box and back.
“Are you serious?”
“You should press the button. There are people waiting for you.”
“Nance, are you serious?”
Nancy nodded her head. “But you can’t stay. You got a girl waiting for you back in 1986.”
Robin frowned. “No, I don’t.”
“But you said—”
“Oh, her? No, we ended things shortly after my grandpa died. Something like that does put a relationship in jeopardy. And her ex-boyfriend returned to town, and she went to him.”
“And your family?”
“And what about me?”
“What about you?”
“I want to stay, Nance. I want to stay with this girl I barely know, who is clearly filled with trauma. And I really want to get to know her. And I really would like to kiss her too.”
Nancy stood up from the bed. “That thing takes you back to the moment you left?”
“It should, if it even works.”
“Okay,” Nancy said, crossing the room and pressing her lips against Robin’s. The kiss was magical, everything Robin had ever dreamed off. And then she felt Nancy’s hand around her own, grabbing the black box and pushing the button.
Robin wanted to shout, wanted to start crying, wanted to go back. But when she opened her eyes, she stared into Nancy’s confused gaze.
Nancy pressed the button again, but nothing happened. “I thought this would take you back?”
“I guess it doesn’t work,” Robin said with a bright smile. “You are stuck with me, Nance.”
The edges of Nancy’s lips curled up. “Thank God,” she whispered before throwing her arms around Robin and pulling her back in.

Evelyn pressed the button on her home system to allow Nari up into the apartment, running around and making sure the animals had everything they needed for an overnight stay with her bestie. Her heels clicked on the hardwood floor as she walked over to check on Bleu first, smiling when she saw the kitty snuggled down into the blanket inside of the carrier fast asleep. Winnie was laid off on the side, chewing on her rubber ball making it squeak obnoxiously with each bite down.
“Hey there hot stuff,” Nari whistled as she walked in, closing the front door behind her, toeing her shoes off before walking further into the apartment, “Looking like a hot mama.”
“Do I look okay?” Evelyn hadn’t turned around yet, rummaging around to make sure both of the animals had plenty of stuff while they were away for the night. Maybe she was overpacking for them, but having more than you need is better than not having enough. “I couldn’t decide for the longest time and just went with this.” She turned on her heels and looked at Nari, her eyes practically falling out of her head when she noticed another person in her apartment.
“Surprise!” Nari wiggled her fingers, stepping aside and showing off the other person fully. After a few years living abroad in London, Minji was finally back in Korea after so long.
“Look at you,” Minji gushed as Evelyn practically sprinted into her open arms, giggling as she wrapped her arms around the younger girl. It was a few minutes later before Evelyn had pulled away and looked between her two former group mates.
“Wha-..How-...” Evelyn couldn’t even form words as she covered her mouth with her hand. By this time, Winnie had actually registered another person in the apartment and abandoned her ball, barking and jumping at Minji’s feet. Nari to the rescue picked the wiggly puppy up and gave her kisses to her head, scratching behind her ears.
“I came back to visit my parents and of course to see you girls again. Nari picked me up at the airport yesterday!” Minji nodded her head, taking a seat down at the kitchen island.
Evelyn pouted her lips slightly as she looked between her two former group mates, fanning her eyes with her hands quickly, “I wish I knew we could’ve-.” But she was cut off by both women waving their hands and murmurs of refusal between them.
“Oh none of that,” Minji smiled at Evelyn as she leaned back against the island, “And besides, I’m here for a few weeks so we have plenty of time to hang out. And from what I’ve heard from Nari over here, today is your man’s birthday, so who am I to keep you from him.”
“All I’m saying is-,” Nari cuts in as she crossed her legs sitting next to Minji at the kitchen island, “I know it’s his birthday but he better fuck you so good tonight with how hot you look.”
Evelyn blushed furiously at Nari’s sudden comment, Minji giggling in her seat as she covered her face with her hand.
“Don’t encourage her,” Evelyn pointed a finger at the giggling woman before tossing Winnie’s leash in Nari’s direction. At that, her phone pinged and when she noticed who the text was from, she turned quickly on her heels and waved her phone around jokingly, “Oh my god look at the time, you two must be going now please.”
Nari wiggled her eyebrows before hopping off of the stool and clicked on Winnie’s leash, Evelyn in the process had bent down and gave the puppy a kiss on her head, booping her nose gently. She then moved over to Bleu’s carrier, unzipping the front flap and scratching the kitty behind her ears, heart melting slightly at the purring as she zipped the flap back up.
“Winnie, your mother is going to pound town later, send her your condolences now,” Nari hooked the handle of the leash around her wrist before grabbing the bag of food and toys, while Minji helped out and took care of the cat carrier.
“Yah, don’t corrupt my children like that,” Evelyn shot Nari a playful glare, “You don’t know, maybe we won’t and we’ll watch a movie or something.”
“Yeah okay,” Nari winked and gave her an okay symbol with her hand and a wink, leading the way out of the apartment. Minji gave Evelyn another hug and promised her that they would hang out while she was still in town before following Nari out, and right before the door closed shut behind them, Nari poked her head back in, “And wear protection children. I’m too young to be an auntie already.”
“Out!”

Evelyn was running around like a mad man, changing her earrings for the third time and applying a different shade of lipstick before she heard the familiar jingle of her home system for the second time that evening. Looking at the monitor, she smiled to herself seeing Mingyu dressed nicely in the camera, pressing the button and waiting patiently by the door for his familiar tune of knocks.
A few moments had passed by before three knocks sounded at the door and Evelyn felt that jittery feeling in her bones when she opened the door.
“Excuse me Miss, do you know if an extremely gorgeous girl lives here? She’s about this tall,” Mingyu gestured with his hand before looking down at his non-existent watch, glancing up at her with a smirk, “I’ve come to retrieve her for our dinner date.”
“Hmm, she doesn’t sound familiar but I’ll let you know if I see her,” She giggles as she steps backwards and allows him into her apartment, wrapping her arms around his midsection in a hug when he closes the door behind him. He reciprocated the action, his arms hugging her tight to his body with a hum.
“Happy birthday my love,” She lifted her head up, her eyes finding his as she pressed a kiss to his lips, her heels giving her a few extra inches. Mingyu hummed into the kiss as he pecked her lips a few more times.
“Mm thank you baby,” He leaned back and let his arms trail down her sides, his eyes traveling down her figure slowly. The velvety red dress she was wearing complimented her body tremendously and the pair of black heels paired well with the red color.
His hand found hers as he laced their fingers together, “God I feel so underdressed with how beautiful you look.”
“Not at all,” She held his navy tie in between her fingers, fixing the material around his neck, “If anything, you’ve out dressed me.” She pressed a kiss to the side of his mouth, her hand falling down his chest.
Mingyu caressed the back of her head as he watched her with so much love and adoration behind his eyes. He fixed the watch on his left hand, eyes widening playfully as he wiggled his eyebrows, “Let’s get out of here before we miss our reservations.”

Mingyu groaned as he threw his head back against the chair he was sitting in, his vision obstructed by the blindfold secured snuggly around his head. After arriving home from their dinner date, Evelyn had sat him down in one of her chairs in her living room, tying one of her scarves around his head while she got his present ready. The anticipation was killing him on what she was even doing, she was being way too quiet.
“Hey baby? You didn’t leave me right?” He picked his head up as he looked blindly around the apartment. The material was thin enough that he could make out objects around the room but just thick enough so he could barely see anything else.
Evelyn walked quietly into the living room, a giggle leaving her mouth as she took a look at Mingyu’s clueless state. She looked down at what she was wearing, biting the inside of her cheek gently before stalking over towards him, setting down the objects she was holding down onto the table next to him.
“Now why would I leave the birthday boy by himself on his birthday? What kind of girlfriend would I be?,” She pressed a kiss to his forehead, climbing onto his lap so she could straddle him. Mingyu gasped softly as he instinctively grabbed at her hips to keep her from falling off. Evelyn rubbed at the sides of his head with her thumbs, gently toying with his ears before reaching behind his head and untying the blindfold. It took a few minutes of rapid blinking before Mingyu had regained his vision, looking up to Evelyn now that she was taller than him with curious eyes. That was until his vision went down the length of her body and realized what she was actually wearing.
“God baby…” Mingyu groaned as he took her all in. There she was, perched in his lap and dressed in nothing else but his sheer white detailed shirt that he always wore fastened by just a few buttons and a pair of white lace panties.
“You like?”
“I fucking love it,” He leaned forward and smashed his lips onto hers, grabbing her around her waist. She smirked into the kiss, reaching down and grabbing his arms and moving them off of her. She pulls away with a wicked grin on her lips, moving his arms down so he was holding onto the arms of the chair instead.
“I’m glad you think so,” She sat back in his lap to gaze down at him. There was a fluttering feeling in the pit of her stomach as only she knew what was to come, “Because that was only one part of your present. All you have to do now is sit there and enjoy yourself for the next part. However-,” She traced a hand down his chest, feeling rather bold and cheeky.
“One rule,” She toyed with his tie, leaning in close to his ear as she hooked her index finger in to loosen the fabric, her voice only slightly above a whisper, “No touching.”
She then leans down to nuzzle at his neck, her lips brushing the skin just below his jaw ever so slightly. Mingyu’s hands tightened against the arms of the chair and his eyebrows pulled tightly together, wanting nothing more than to take her to bed and completely ravish her right then and there.
Mingyu inhaled a sharp breath the second Evelyn started to press kisses up the length of his neck. He swallowed thickly when she had pulled back to grin at him before she mouthed underneath his ear, leaving a soft and teasing kitten lick just behind his lobe.
“What, do you like when I kiss you here?” She smiled into his skin, pressing a kiss on the spot she had just licked, “Or here?,” She proceeded to move down to press a kiss on his jaw. Mingyu lets out a pleasure filled groan as she continues her attack on his neck.
“How cute…my baby seems to be so sensitive everywhere,” She nipped at the skin on his neck, sucking a bruise into the skin. The stylist would get on her case again but this particular moment she could care less.
“You’re killing me baby,” Mingyu groaned as he bit his lower lip, his palms starting to sweat as he held onto the arms of the chair, “Please can I just hold onto you?”
“Ah-ah,” Her thumbs rubbed his cheeks playfully as she pressed a kiss to his nose, “That would ruin the present.”
Pressing a final kiss to his lips, Evelyn crawled off of his lap and sunk down onto the floor to her knees. Her hands made quick work of unbuckling his dress pants and with his help of tilting his hips upwards, she pulled them down so that they sat just past his knees. The bulge in his boxers was more prominent with how much he was turned on. With a teasing hand, she reached forward and cupped his bulge, her thumb teasing the tip through the fabric. Her eyes never left his as he sucked in a sharp breath watching her below him.
“H-Ha..please baby.”
Evelyn responded back with a hum as she felt the wetness from pre-cum soaking through the material of his boxers with her thumb. With a grin painted to her lips, she hooked her fingers in the waistband and pulled the boxers down to join his dress pants, dropping a dollop of spit into her palm before grabbing hold of his cock and started to work him up and down while making sure to tease the tip coated in pre-cum. Mingyu choked out a gasp as he tilted his head back against the chair with a thud, blunt nails digging into the arms of the chair.
“Fuck babygirl…” It comes out more like a whine as she continues to jerk her hand up and down his length giving herself ample time to work up enough saliva in her mouth. She loved having him like this. Being an absolute weak puddle in her hands. It was such a nice role reversal that she had been craving for so long.
A mantra of curses poured out of his mouth when she sat up on her knees, leaning forward and wrapping her lips around the tip of his cock. Eyelashes fluttered against her under eyes as she gazed up at him from her spot on the floor, Mingyu subconsciously tilting his hips forward slightly. Evelyn took him further into her mouth, humming around the hardened length sending bolts of pleasure straight to Mingyu’s brain.
She took her time, hollowing her cheeks and bobbing her head up and down his cock in a good rhythm. Occasionally, she would slowly pull all the way off and suckle at the tip, using her tongue to flick and kitten lick around the head before moving down and dragging her tongue over the thick veins on the underside of his cock.
“Ah- F-Fuck baby,” Mingyu groaned as he picked his head up from where he had thrown it back against the chair, his gaze dropping down to watch the show in front of him. His eyes slammed shut as he involuntarily picked his hand up and threaded it through her hair, pushing her back down onto his cock. But just as quickly as he had done that, Evelyn was pulling away from his cock and yanking his hand out of her hair with a stern look, “Breaking the rules already?” She playfully glared at him as her hand slowly jerked him, waiting for him to respond.
Mingyu shook his head back and forth against the chair, clenching his eyes shut and his mouth open to pant, “N-No baby I– just feels so good,” he slurred his words together, bringing one of his hands up to run it through his own hair, grabbing onto the short strands, “Gonna cum if you keep it up like that.”
Evelyn giggled as she rotated her wrist a few times, “Oh yeah? Feels that good, huh?” Bringing her other hand up to fondle with his balls.
Mingyu’s eyes shot open and he swallowed thickly, his abs clenching with desire, “Y-Yes– Soso fucking good babygirl.”
Evelyn licked her lips before she brought her mouth back down to his cock and pressed a feather-like kiss to the tip before she continued down the length, peppering random kisses wherever she deemed was worthy enough. Every so often she would dart her tongue out and lick alongside the veins as if she was licking a lollipop.
“Fuckkk– m’so close baby,” His breathing quickened and dull nails scraped against the leather of the seat, “Wanna cum down your throat– please please baby.”
Evelyn rolled her eyes as she pressed another kiss to the tip, “Giving order now?”
“Please baby,” He begged her. He was using every bone in his body to keep his composure and hold off his orgasm but she looked so good on her knees in front of him and he would do anything to have her lips wrapped around his cock again.
Evelyn grinned up at him as his cock started to pulse in her hand and she knew he was about to snap any second. She twisted her wrist around a few times before she obliged, leaning forward and dipping her tongue in his slit, gathering up the beads of pre-cum forming. Without any further warning, she shoved a good portion of his cock into her mouth and bobbed her head repeatedly. It was more than she had ever taken before. She breathed heavily through her nose as if silently willing herself to not choke. Her eyes flickered up to Mingyu watching as his head fell back against the chair with a thud and his face was tilted up towards the ceiling, mouth open and pant after pant escaped.
He was losing his mind. Each stroke of Evelyn’s tongue and each suction from her hollowed cheeks sent him overboard. His leg started bouncing from how close he was getting. He opted for digging his nails into his palms to save her leather chair from any further nail marks. His brain was fuzzy and his eyes were on the brink of rolling to the back of his head every time Evelyn sank down and engulfed more of him into her mouth.
“I– I’m gonna cum– shit,” Mingyu dropped his head back down to watch the rest of her taking him. His eyes were half-lidded as he bucked his hips slightly.
The whole sight was such a mess. Strings of saliva were dripping from Evelyn’s mouth down onto his balls and covering her hands as she pumped what little of his cock was left unattended. The vibrations of her moans and the sounds of her gagging were sending him into complete overdrive. With one last suck in from her cheeks, Evelyn forced herself to swallow him entirely, her nose brushing his neatly trimmed hair as she gagged a little more, hot ropes of cum shooting down her throat. She pulled back slowly as she swallowed down the cum, moaning around his cock as she sucked him dry.
“F-Fuck yeah baby,” He practically whined as his jaw went slack, his eyes never leaving Evelyn’s as she welcomed his orgasm, “Such a good fucking girl. Swallowing everything so so pretty.” His entire body buzzed like it was on cloud nine, his head spinning and the dress pants around his knees restricted him from any drastic movements of his legs.
Evelyn pulled off of his cock with a pop, using her thumb she cleaned up the remnants of cum that leaked out of her mouth and pushed it back in to swallow, sucking on the digit as her eyes fluttered up to Mingyu’s. With a dull ache to her legs from how long she had been sitting on them, she used his knees as leverage and pushed herself up off of the floor, climbing back into his lap and straddling his thighs.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and brought their bodies closer together, pressing their lips together in a messy, passionate kiss. Their tongues danced together in beautiful harmony and Mingyu couldn’t help but groan as the faint taste of himself lingered in her mouth. Evelyn was the first to pull away, pressing a kiss to the tip of his nose.
“How was that?” She asked with her voice sounding a little hoarse, her hands finding their way to the back of his head to play with the little baby hairs at the base of his neck, scratching her nails up into his scalp.
“So fucking good baby, you have no idea,” Mingyu’s blissed our face matched his slurred speech, “You’re such a good girl.” He grinned up at her pouting his lips and asking for another kiss. She obliged and leaned forward, this time the kiss was slow and meaningful. They took their time and explored each other’s mouth a bit more before the pulled apart, Evelyn scooting herself back on his thighs a bit.
“Now, it’s my turn.”
Before he had time to process what she had said, Evelyn had tapped two fingers on his mouth, Mingyu immediately following orders as he parts his lips. She gently pressed her two fingers inside instructing him to suck on them. He took his time and swirled his tongue around the digits, coating them nicely in copious amounts of his saliva. Her eyes were locked onto his as he took his time moving her fingers around his mouth, pressing down on his tongue gently at times. She couldn’t help the grin plastered on her lips. She loved everything about this. Loved the control that she has over him in this current moment.
Once she deemed them as well coated, she removed them from his mouth and pressed a kiss on the side of his mouth. Her hand trailed down until she reached her core, sliding her fingers right through her folds, dipping the tips of her fingers into her entrance before sliding the digits over top of her sensitive nub.
She moaned directly into his ear when she managed to get a good rhythm going with rubbing tight circles over top of her clit and giving herself some stimulation, “A-Ah…” She squealed as her free hand gripped the back of the chair behind his head. Mingyu’s mouth dropped open in awe as he watched her bring herself to release above him, eyes flicking between her fingers rubbing her clit and back up to her face twisted in pleasure. He loved watching her come undone whether it be at the wrath of himself or her own fingers. His hands wandered away from the arms of the chair and smoothed up her thighs, but again just as quickly as he did, she sat back in his lap and pulled his arms off, her lust filled gaze staring him down for the second time, “That’s strike two. One more and I’ll finish myself elsewhere.”
“Can’t help it baby- you look so fucking hot right now,” Mingyu swiped his tongue over his bottom lip as Evelyn got back on track, her fingers rubbing herself faster and faster to make up for the lost bit of time. Beads of sweat trickled down her face and she scrunched her eyebrows together as the peak was approaching again.
She let go of the chair and brought her hand up to her chest, grabbing a hold of her left breast through the shirt and tweaking her own nipple, pulling and twisting the bud between her fingers at the same time as she was rubbing her clit. A quiet gasp left her as her toes curled tightly behind her, sparks of pleasure coursed through her body.
Despite the awkward angle, she slipped her two soaked fingers inside of her entrance, letting go of her breast and bringing that hand down to take the place of rubbing her clit, “Ngh– Gyuuu,” she whined as she threw her head back. Working up the strength, she managed to pull her right leg forward and place her foot onto the arm of the chair beside Mingyu’s arm, giving her room to spread her legs and let him have a nice view of her.
He was completely mesmerized by her, the loud squelching filling not only his ears but his cock as well. Her fingers were coated in her wetness and with each thrust in and out, the slim digits were only getting wetter and wetter. He dug his fingernails into his palms again to ground himself.
Evelyn gasped as she squeezed around her own fingers, her body practically doubling over as she circled her clit faster. Her mouth fell open and squeals of pleasure fell out as she clamped her eyes shut, leaning so much forward that her forehead landed on Mingyu’s shoulder. He could tell she was getting close to the edge and decided to give her a hand at getting herself there.
“Feel good baby?” He couldn’t see her face but he could hear her heavy panting against his shoulder and the loud squelching coming from her entrance so he could only imagine.
Evelyn nodded against his shoulder, “F-Feels so g-good Gyu,” Her rhythm was getting sloppier by the minute and she was ready to burst at any moment. She was starting to see stars and her mind was going blank.
“C’mon make yourself feel good,” She was close enough to him that he could turn his head and press a kiss to the side of her head, “Make yourself cum,” and that’s all it took for her to bite her bottom lip as she moaned against his shoulder, her walls squeezing around her fingers as she orgasmed around them. Her fingers slipped out of her entrance with ease and she brought both of her hands up to grope her breasts, rolling her nipples between her fingers for some added stimulation.
“That was so hot baby,” Mingyu murmured into her hair, talking her through her high. He didn’t know if this counted as touching her but she was either too far gone or just didn’t seem to mind so he kept pressing kisses to her head and nuzzling his face into her neck, “Wanna touch you,” he mumbled and his lips formed a pout when she leaned back, moving her leg down to straddle him again.
She shook her head with a lazy smile, eyes heavy, “M’not finished with you yet.” She reached over and grabbed the small bottle of lube and condom packet.
Holding the corner of the packet by her teeth, she ripped the packet cleanly and took out the condom, rolling the rubber down his already hardening length. Mingyu groaned when she made quick work pouring a glob of lube into her palm, stroking his cock to coat it evenly.
Taking hold of his length, she rubs the tip back and forth against her clit causing them both to moan one after another. She proceeded to line it up with her entrance and sink down onto his throbbing cock slowly, her eyebrows pulled together at the stretch. Her hand’s fly to his biceps as she sinks down until she’s flush with his hips, a small gasp falling from her lips as she adjusted to get used to his size.
Mingyu groaned as her walls squeezed tightly around him. His eyes were drawn down to where they were connected, smiling up at her, “Always take me so well hm? Such a good girl.”
Evelyn’s face flushed a slight shade of pink at the praise, leaning forward to capture his lips with hers as she started to rock her hips back and forth. She couldn’t take it anymore with him moving inside of her and she moaned against his lips as they broke away. Her nails dug into his biceps when she lifted her hips and started to bounce herself up and down, “A-Ah– Gyu.”
“Fuck baby,” Mingyu groaned right along with her, his head falling back against the chair to watch her with hooded eyes.
She was a hot mess of whines and slurred cries as she continued to bounce in his lap. It was getting harder and harder for her to maintain this dominant act over him and she was readying herself to cave at any moment. She brought their faces together and smashed their lips together in a messy kiss, pulling back so she could pant against his mouth. Her thighs burned deliciously with how long she had been riding him for and each drop down made her body shudder violently with how close she was to her peak.
“I-I’m getting close-,” But just as she speaks, her sentence is quickly interrupted as she cries out a loud moan. The tight coil in her stomach was ready to snap any second and she wanted to cum so bad. The room was quiet and there was nothing but exasperated moans lingering between the two of them, Mingyu was busy fighting every bone in his body to keep his promise and follow the rules, hands pressed securely to the leather arms of the chair.
“Mhm,” Evelyn hummed softly, her head tipping backwards as she rocked her hips back and forth, bracing herself against his shoulders as she rode him, this being the perfect angle for him to reach deep inside of her.
“Fuck baby,” Mingyu groaned in the back of his throat, pulling his bottom lip in between his teeth as his eyes flicked back and forth completely mesmerized from where the two of them were joined and up to Evelyn’s face contorted in pleasure, “Feels so good like this baby- look so fucking good.”
Evelyn’s nails dug into his shoulders as she continued to bounce on his cock despite her burning thighs, “Gyu-,” She practically whined, lolling her head forward to look down at him. The muscles in her thighs felt like they were on fire causing her bounces to become sloppy and uncoordinated, the steady rhythm she had fading away. As much as she didn’t want to throw in the towel on being the dominant one tonight, she couldn’t go on for much longer, “I-I…”
“Talk to me baby,” His eyes scanned every inch of her face looking for any signs of discomfort.
“I-I can’t go anymore,” She confesses as she squeals out another moan, her sharp nails falling from his shoulders and onto his biceps, “Please ...please help me.” At her words, Mingyu’s hands flew to her hips and helped her reach her orgasm. He had been waiting for this moment all night long. He rocked his hips upwards as he aided her in bouncing on his cock. Her vision clouded over with stars as she rode out her orgasm, gripping Mingyu’s messed up dress shirt which was a miracle that he even still managed to keep it on. She collapsed against his body, her own tingling with pleasure and oversensitivity, “Your turn. Touch me all you want.”
Tumblr media
Once in the bedroom, Mingyu had Evelyn laid out in the middle of her bed, his thumb swiping over the opening of the lace panties, dragging his middle finger through her folds and rubbing gently at the still sensitive nub, “Crotchless panties hmm? Must’ve riled me up so good to not notice these earlier.”
Evelyn bit the inside of her cheek as she nodded against the bed lazily, huffing out a soft sound of pleasure as he moved his thumb down to tease her clit, “Mhm, wanted to be pretty ‘n wanted to wear them for you.”
“You’re always pretty to me,” Mingyu unbuttoned his dress shirt with what little buttons were still hooked together and dropped the garment onto the floor; his dress pants and boxers long forgotten in the living room. He climbed on top of Evelyn, caging her between his arms, pressing kisses to her lips as he spoke each word, “You’re gorgeous — kiss — beautiful — kiss —sexy,” he began pressing kisses down the column of her neck, down her collarbone, all the way until he reached the valley of her breasts. She only had the top button of his white cover shirt buttoned so it was easy access for him to take one of her nipples into his mouth and suck while his hand came up and pinched the other, rolling the bud between his fingers.
Evelyn threw her head back against the bed as she threaded her fingers into his hair and tugged at the short locks, “Ah– Mmm,” she was beginning to realize that not only was the no touch rule torture for him, but for her as well. She always craved his touch, especially in moments like these.
Mingyu leaned back on his heels, reaching into the drawer and pulling out another condom. He tore the packet with his teeth and slipped the rubber out and onto his cock, giving himself a few jerks of his wrist. He looked around the room before it had dawned on him that the lube was still sitting in the living room, “Baby, I’ll be right back–,” he started but Evelyn cut him off when she used her foot to hook behind his back.
“I’m good enough still,” She nodded her head as she lifted her arms above her head, “Just– Inside please.”
A grin formed on Mingyu’s lips as he leaned forward, guiding himself down to her entrance. His tip barely poked in before he glanced up at her, “You sure?” With a nod of her head, he slipped the head of his cock in, bracing himself on either side of her head with his forearms and rocked his hips forward in one quick thrust.
Evelyn moaned out loud as she dropped her arms down around his shoulders, her nails digging into his back. Mingyu pulled out before thrusting back in, his jaw clenched tight as her gummy walls squeezed his cock like a vice grip.
“Fuck yeah baby,” He leaned back and hooked the back of her knees in the crevice of his elbows, leaning forward again so she was practically folded in half. This new angle caused him to slip inside deeper and the two of them moaning in sync. The speed of his hips picked up as he slammed into her, hitting one spot in particular over and over again.
“Oh fuck,” Evelyn turned her head to the side as she whined, bringing one of her hands up to her face to bite on her index finger while her other hand securely dug her nails into his shoulder. Mingyu continued to pound into her from the angle, biting his bottom lip and groaning in the process.
Evelyn unlocked her ankles from behind his back and tapped Mingyu’s side with her foot to gain his attention, causing him to pause his thrusts, drop her legs and lean back to look down at her in concern that something was wrong, “Are you okay? Is it hurting?” She shook her head as her eyes scanned around his face, her chest rising and falling as she panted heavily, a thin layer of sweat covering both of their bodies.
“I just wanna turn over,” She pulled her bottom lip in between her teeth, batting her eyelashes up at him.
“Yeah– Yeah baby,” He pants out as he helps her flip over onto her stomach, waiting patiently like an eager puppy until she adjusts herself comfortably, crawling up the mattress a little on her hands and knees. He grabbed a pillow and shoved it underneath of her hips to make this position a little more comfortable for her to be in.
With a quick swipe of his tongue across his lower lip, he rested one palm of his hand around her waist and the other made a swipe through her folds before pressing into her again in one quick motion, plunging inside of her tight entrance once more. Evelyn gripped the duvet cover between her fingers as she dropped her head to moan into the sheets.
“So g-good,” Evelyn slurred as she dropped down onto her forearms. She arched her back so she could meet Mingyu’s thrusts, mantras of whines and moans echoing into the room, “I love you Gyu.”
“I love you too baby,” Mingyu rubbed at her sides with his hands, leaning forward and capturing their lips together as his thrusts slowed up just a bit. Evelyn pulled away so she could drop her head, he peak reaching closer and closer.
“F-Fuck-,” Mingyu sucked his bottom lip in between his teeth, leaning back and tilting his chin to look down at where the two of them were connected and he groaned out loud at the visual of the creamy white ring of cum that was collecting at the base of his cock.
With his fingers rubbing hard and fast on her clit and his cock pummeling forwards into her, “I’m- I’m cumming,” Evelyn squealed out a loud moan as a gush of liquid soaked the bed sheets below in a decent size puddle, the slight force nudging Mingyu’s cock out slightly. Her toes curled inwards as her thighs quivered from the third orgasm of the night.
“Ha Fuck–,” He drawled out his moan as his open hand found her hip and held on tightly, speeding up his thrusts as his climax was reaching closer and closer, “M’almost there baby,” It was only a few more jolts of his hips later that Mingyu was yanking himself out of her, ripping the condom off and tossing it to the side before jerking himself to his release, spurts of cum landing in various spots on Evelyn’s back and his shirt, some going as far to drip down the curve of her ass.
Evelyn’s arms finally gave way as her chest fell forward onto the bed, her ass end still being stuck in the air. Her eyes fluttered closed as the overwhelmingness and oversensitivity from her intense orgasm started to fully sink in. She could honestly fall asleep in this position with how spent her body was. Her eyes lazily popped open when a gentle hand pushed up his shirt a little and rubbed at the skin on her back, moving down the length of her back down to her ass and back up again. A groan left her mouth when she processed what exactly he was actually doing.
“God you’re so gross,” She whined as Mingyu practically massaged his release into her skin, “And I can’t even move away I’m too tired. You can take the hassle of cleaning me in the shower then.”
A big dopey grin plastered across Mingyu’s face as he chuckled from behind her, leaning forward so he was hugging her. His semi-hard length rubbed alongside her folds as he nuzzled his face right by her head. She stuttered out a soft whine at the sensitivity, tilting her head slightly so Mingyu could press kisses into her skin.
“Best birthday ever.”
“It better be, my legs can’t stop shaking,” Evelyn joked as she wiggled over to make room for Mingyu as he let go and flopped down onto the bed beside her. He brought a hand up and cupped her face, bringing their lips together in a slow and passionate kiss.

You're A Good Dad

Trevor sat comfortably on his couch waiting for them. Bean was currently on spring break and had traveled from Boston to California, so he could see his son.
It was proving to be difficult though. Still not many people knew about Zephyr causing them to have to sneak around.
So when Jamie was out for the afternoon, Bean agreed to bring the baby over, but they must have been running late because it was already one pm and they were supposed to be there an hour earlier.
He was considering calling Bean to see what was up when there a knock on the door before it was opened and Bean burst through the threshold with the carseat in one hand, the diaper bag slung over her right shoulder and her computer bag on the other.
"I'm sorry we're late. I was trying to finish one of my like five papers that are due and then someone decided to have a blowout and needed a bath before we left."
Zephyr, still in his carrier, gave Trevor a big gummy smile, laughing at his Mommy, knowing some how that she was talking about him.
"Don't sweat it Bean." Trevor tickled Zephyr's little feet while freeing him from the carseat. "If you want you can use my room to work?"
"You don't mind?"
"We were just gonna play out here anyways. It's no biggie."
"Thank you Z" Bean's smiled melted his heart.
She started making her towards his room when he grabbed onto her wrist, pulling her closing to his body and giving her a kiss. Even though they weren't together he loved giving her kisses and she loved receiving them.
"Anything for you Momma."
Trevor had a small tub of toys that he mainly kept in his room and only really brought out when Zeph and Bean came over. Today Zeph wasn't really interested in any of the items he had, opting to throw them at his father instead of playing.
"Ow, little dude, that one hurt." Trevor made a face when the baby got him again, sending the child into another fit of giggles.
Zeph was not enjoying tummy time very much. In his best effort, Trevor kept pressing the button on a dancing/singing llama that was somewhat keeping his attention.
Zephyr grunted and fussed in frustration when the llama stopped again.
"I know Zeph. I don't like doing this either, but Momma says we have to, so maybe just a little longer and then we can go bug her to take a break?" He tried to bargain with the baby who had no idea what he was talking about.
Bean had one paper down and one more to go when she figured she’d take a second to check in on her boys. She observed them playing before joint in on the fun.
She took Zeph's favorite bear and booped him with it. The 6 month old smile and reached for the bear.
"You know you're a good dad?” Trevor blushed at the compliment.
"I'm the farthest thing from a good dad. I'm never around, he barely knows me." He corrected Bean. They both knew it wasn't true.
Trevor wanted to be there more, he didn't like that she was taking more of the load when it came to him. Hopefully he could convince her to transfer out here and they could permanently move out here.
"But you're there when you can be and you talk to him pretty much every day. He loves his daddy. Please don’t sell yourself short.”
Trevor grabbed her chin again and gave her another kiss.

Somehow, we got Robin and Steve in the back of the cart, Dustin and Erica sitting up front while I drove. I guess I hit a turn too sharply because I heard Steve slur, “Jesus, babe, slow down.”
“Do you want to make it out of here alive or not?” I asked.
“What is this, like, the Indy 500?” Robin slurred.
I guess we’re gonna be hearing them slur from here on out.
“It’s the Indy 300,” Steve said.
“No, dingus, it’s 500,” Robin corrected.
“It’s 300!”
“Let’s say… a million.”
They both started laughing as I quickly closed my eyes with a sigh. Guess I was going to have to use some tactics on them like I did with Steve when he smoked.
“What is wrong with them?” Erica asked.
“I don’t know,” Dustin said.
“Best to say they were drugged with some… kind of drug,” I said, looking at my brother and Erica. “Fuck, I don’t know! I just want to get the hell out of here!”
“Olivia, watch out!” Erica said.
I looked in front of me, screaming as I hit the brake while crashing into some metal barrels. Hearing groans coming from Steve and Robin behind me, I turned my head a little and asked, “You guys alright back there?”
All I received were groans in response. Turning back to Erica and Dustin, I frowned and said, “They’ll be fine,” before getting out of the vehicle.
Erica, my brother and I rushed to the back, opening the back door, seeing Steve and Robin sitting against the grate.
“Come on, let’s go,” I said, Erica and Dustin joining me in urging the two other teens out of the back of this thing.
Pulling Steve out first, I said to Dustin, “Take that keycard and unlock the elevator. See if it works.”
“Here goes nothing,” he said, a few seconds later.
“This sucks!” Steve said.
“Yeah, well, you got drugged,” I said, putting his arm over my shoulders, struggling to keep him up. “God, how do I do this when you’re drunk?”
“You’re normally drunk with me,” he said, booping my nose.
Swatting his hand away, I muttered, “Stop that,” as I walked him inside the elevator. Once we got inside, I set Steve up on a table, urging the other three inside.
Dustin hit the button to go up, and I guess Robin and Steve decided it would be fun to surf on a rolling pallet.
“Hey! You look like you’re-” Robin started, Steve saying, “Surfing!” with her.
Erica tapped me on the shoulder, saying, “They seem drunk.”
“Why would they be drunk?” Dustin said.
“No, they’re not drunk,” I said, arms crossed over my chest.
“I’m a natural,” Steve said. “Babe, check this out!”
Robin pulled the pallet away from him, holding her hands out while chuckling, “Wipeout!”
They were both laughing while I bent down next to Steve, Dustin following my lead and putting his hand on Steve’s forehead before saying, “He’s burning up.”
“You’re burning up,” Steve retorted.
“Oh, my god,” I said. “Steve, shut up.”
“Check his eyes,” Dustin said.
Sighing, I said, “I don’t need to check his eyes.”
“Why? His pupils are super dilated. Even I can see that from here.”
“Yeah, I saw his eyes after I cut the bonds, dumbass! Besides… they’re drugged.”
Steve put his fingertip to my nose, saying, “Boop.”
“Don’t boop my nose,” I said.
“Steve, are you drugged?” Dustin asked.
“How many times, Dad? I don’t do drugs. It’s only marijuana,” Steve said.
“Baby, this isn’t funny, okay,” I said. “We need to know what they did to you. I need to know if you’re going to die on me.”
Reaching up with his finger again, Steve booped my nose, laughing.
“We all die, my awesome teenage friend,” Robin said. “It’s just a matter of how… and when.”
Looking from Robin back to Steve, I asked, “Where did you park your car? Because they’re going to be looking for us up there, and I don’t really feel like dying at 19, okay?”
“We’re 19?” Steve asked.
“Oh, for the love of god,” I breathed, dropping my chin to meet my chest.
“Can we make a pit stop at the food court?” Steve asked.
“I would kill for a hotdog on a stick,” Robin said.
“Ooh!” Steve uttered.
Picking my head up, I exclaimed, “Yes, we can make a freaking pit stop! But only if you tell me where your car is parked, high off his ass boyfriend of mine!”
“Uh-oh!”
“Uh-oh?” Dustin and I asked.
“The car’s off the board.”
“What?”
“They took the keys. The Russians, they took the keys,” Steve said, turning out his pockets. “Like, forever ago.”
I sighed, exasperatedly, while hanging my head again, Robin and Steve both laughing. Smiling at me, Steve said, “That’s a bummer, right?”
~~~
When the elevator made it back to its top stop and the door opened, we all piled out, the two high off their asses Scoops employees enjoying the outside air… while trying to eat it.
“Steve, can you taste the air?” Robin asked.
“I taste it! I taste it!” he answered.
“Shit,” I said, spotting two more guards coming through a gate in front of us. Turning around, I ran for Steve, grabbing his hand while saying, “Come on!” and heading for the pair of doors to our left.
“Why are we running?” he asked, Robin laughing while Dustin and Erica ushered her in before they, too, were inside the back of the mall.
“Where are we going?” someone asked.
“Just trust me!” I said, spotting a door at the end of the hall. I stuck my head out, seeing we were in the theater part of the mall, pulling Steve in the hallway while gesturing for Dustin, Erica and Robin to follow, turning to my first left.
Steve grabbed a bag of discarded popcorn on our way in, Back to the Future playing on the screen.
“What did I tell you? 88 miles per hour!”
I groaned quietly, and turned towards Steve. “I wanna see this movie so bad! You’re bringing me when all this is over.”
“Come on,” Dustin said, leading us all down the aisle to two empty seats, where we sat Steve and Robin.
“For the love of god, don’t move,” I said.
“These seats blow,” Steve said.
“Then don’t watch it.”
“We wanna watch it,” Robin said.
“Then watch it!” Dustin said.
Some guy shushed us, so I shushed him right back.
“Sorry.”
“Whatever you do, do. not. move,” I repeated.
“Fine, mom,” Steve said.
I shook my head, moving down the front aisle to sit an empty seat. Dustin sat on the floor in front of me, Erica beside me. Tapping Dustin on the shoulder, I said, “Remind me to never have kids.”
“Not even with Steve?” he asked.
I thought about it for a moment before I leaned back in my seat. “This is so not how I wanted to watch this movie with Steve.”
“What are we doing here?” Erica asked, leaning closer to me.
“Laying low,” I said. “Cooling down.”
“Like Oswald,” Dustin added.
“Oswald was found dead in a theater and shot to death,” Erica said.
“Yeah,” I said. “A week later.”
“The point is, his plan didn’t work.”
“He was set up.”
“What?”
“He was just a patsy,” Dustin said.
“Tell me he’s joking,” Erica said.
“Shh!”
“You shh!” Looking around, Erica said, “We need to get out of here.”
“Alright, Dusty, you watch Tweedledee and Tweedledum,” I said. “Make sure they don’t move.”
“Where are you two going?” Dustin asked.
“To find us a ride.”
“You sit, I’ll go,” he said, getting up and taking the walkie from Erica’s bag and walking off.
I looked down at Steve and Robin, the former munching on the popcorn. Michael J. Fox’s voice brought my eyes back to the screen.
“Are you telling me you built a time machine… out of a DeLorean?”
~~~
A few minutes later, Dustin came back asking about Double A batteries. “Oh, my god,” I muttered. “What did we tell you about the batteries?”
“I guess we’ll have to go to Plan B.”
“What’s Plan B?” I asked.
“Liv.”
I looked down at Dustin, seeing him looking at Robin and Steve… who weren’t in their seats. “Where… are… they?”
“Shit,” I whispered, getting up from my seat, hearing their footsteps behind me. Once we reached the mall, I turned to them both and said, “We’re splitting up. I’ll check the bathrooms, you two check the food court.”
I didn’t wait for an answer as I ran towards the bathrooms, checking every single one before I stopped my hands from pushing open the ones we were standing by the entire time, hearing their voices.
“Have you ever been in love?” Robin asked.
“Yep. Twice,” Steve said.
“Who was the first?”
“Nancy Wheeler,” he said. I closed my eyes, willing the tears to not make an appearance as he said, “First semester, Senior year.”
“Oh, my god. She’s such a priss.”
“Turns out, not really.” A single tear fell from my waterline as he slightly defended her.
“Are you still in love with Nancy?”
“No.” “Why not?”
“Because I found someone better for me. Since Dustin’s been home, he’s been saying, you’ve found your Suzie, you’ve found your Suzie.”
“Wait, who’s Suzie?” Robin asked.
“Liv’s told me a little bit about her. It’s some girl from camp, I guess his girlfriend. To be honest with you, I’m not 100% sure she’s even real. But that’s not– that’s not really the point.”
“Who’s the second?”
It was silent for a moment before Steve said, “Olivia Frances Henderson. She’s amazing… been there for me since day one, knows all my secrets, knows how my homelife really is. There isn’t a single thing that she doesn’t know. Well, she doesn’t know one, but she will. Soon I hope. Once I became King of Hawkins High, we kind of… drifted apart for a while, but once we came back to each other, it was like… we never drifted. She was even there for me when Nancy broke up with me. She’s never once left my side since we… drifted back, I guess.
“She hated my friends, but endured their presence for me. Especially Tommy H. and Carol. Liv always wanted to punch her in the face. I remember her being so excited for me when I was announced prom king, but flabbergasted when she won queen. She didn’t even want it.”
I smiled when Robin said, “Really?”
“Yeah,” Steve chuckled. “She hated being in the spotlight like that. Even when we walked the halls after…” He paused, not wanting to reveal the night he and I got together. He cleared his throat. “After Nance and I broke up. Liv and I were pretty quick to get together, but I think most people expected it because no one really talked about it. She’s always careful to say the word bullshit around me because of Nancy.
“I never once compared her to Nance, not once. Liv’s everything she isn’t. Liv’s… been respectful these last eight months, she hasn’t rushed anything and we actually talk about things. It’s nice for a change. Like, I’m so in love with her, it’s ridiculous. I can see a future with her.
“And she’s freaking hilarious, always dropping dad jokes, saying the most random shit while we’re sitting in silence and it’s uncomfortable for her. I’ve laughed with her more than I have anyone else, besides you, of course. Liv’s way smarter than me, too. She used to help me with my homework. Because of her, I know what a hivemind is. She’s not anyone I’ve ever met before.”
I was full on silently sobbing at his words at this point. I didn’t know he felt that way. I mean, I felt the same way, but I wasn’t about to burst into the bathroom and tell him that. That was for a more intimate moment that I was dying to share with him.
Stepping back into the mall, I wiped my eyes, a smile on my face as I did so. Once this was all over, I was going to share that moment with Steve. I’ve been with one other guy, but it was only because of a stupid bet he had going with his buddies. Happened Sophomore year.
I turned around to make my way to the right when I crashed into a body that belonged to my little brother.
Putting his hands on my shoulders, he asked, “Hey, you okay? Did you find Steve?”
Sniffling, I decided to lie to him. “No. I–I didn’t find them.”
Dustin went around me to the bathroom door, hearing Robin and Steve laughing about something. He, Erica and myself walked into the bathroom before Dustin said, “Okay. What the hell?”
“Damn, you sound like a parent,” I said. I went to the mirror to check my mascara, thanking the makeup gods that it didn’t smear. Seeing Steve approach behind me in the mirror, I smiled, turning to face him. Putting my arms around his neck, I breathed in deeply, feeling his arms go around my waist. “I love you,” I whispered.
“I love you, too,” he whispered back, leaning in to press his lips to mine in a sweet, loving kiss.
“Hey, love birds!” Dustin said, breaking us apart. “You can suck face later. Right now, we have to blend in.” I rolled my eyes as he went to the door, slowly opening it, the four of us standing behind him before the five of us looked out of the door. “Okay. And… blend.”
We all walked out into the mall, Steve and I hand in hand, doing our best to blend in with the crowds that just came out of the theaters.
“Well, shit that worked,” Erica said.
“ ‘Course it worked,” Dustin said. I could hear the smile on his face. “Now, we just have to get on the bus with the rest of these plebes, and home sweet home, here we come.”
“Uh, Hendersons?” Steve said.
“What?” Dustin and I said.
“Yeah, we might not wanna go to your house.”
Looking at Steve's profile, I asked, “What the hell did you do?”
“Well, I might’ve told them both of your full names.”
“What is wrong with you?” Dustin whisper-yelled.
“Dude, I was drugged.”
“So?”
“So?”
“Babe, you were supposed to resist,” I groaned.
“You tough it out,” Dustin said. “You tough it out like a man.”
“Oh, yeah, it’s easy for you to say,” Steve said.
“You two fight like siblings,” I breathed.
“Guys?” Robin said after we rounded a corner, stopping us from walking any further.
We saw two Russian men talking with some people from the crowd, one of them looking in our direction.
“Abort,” Dustin said, reaching back to grab my hand, the other man looking in our direction as well. “Abort. Abort.” We turned and started running back the way we came to the escalators, but they had that velvet thing in front of them, blocking anyone from using them.
“Shit,” I said. “Slide down the middle.”
Robin went first, then Erica, Dustin, myself and Steve at the end. Running toward Great Cookie, none of us stopped until we were all over the counter, hiding behind it. I tried quieting my breaths as I heard multiple guards, one of them saying something that I couldn’t understand.
It was quiet for about 15 or 30 seconds before we all jumped at the sound of the car alarm going off.  “Sweet shit,” I whispered, hearing the sound of the car crashing afterward.
Turning around, I placed my hands on the counter, pulling myself up and peaking over, seeing all the Russians dead on the floor, the hubcap spinning around until it ultimately stopped before we looked at where the car landed, the underside facing us.
Wanting to see how the car ended that way, I turned my head to the left, looking up and seeing El. Mike, Lucas, Max, Will, Nancy and Jonathan showing up behind her a few moments later.
“Fuck yes,” I whispered, a smile on a my face.
Leaping over the counter of Great Cookie, I made my way towards their group, immediately going to hug El as Dustin said, “You flung that thing like a Hot Wheel!
Embracing El, I let my tears flow, happy to see her. “I’m so happy to see you!” I voiced. Pulling back, I smiled at her before wiping the blood from her nose, wiping it on my shorts. “That was awesome, El! I know that took a lot from you.”
Chuckling, she said, “It did. I’m happy to see you, too.”
“Ask them, it’s their fault,” Erica said, sassy as ever.
“Oh, yeah, blame it on us,” I said, keeping one arm on El, but turning to face Erica, the now twelve of us in a circle.
“It’s absolutely our fault,” Steve said.
“I don’t understand what happened to that car,” Robin said.
“El flung it with her mind,” I said, duh tone to my voice. “She has superpowers.”
“I’m sorry?”
“Superpowers,” Steve said. “She threw it with her mind. C’mon, catch up.”
“Basically what I just said,” I retorted. “And how long did it take for me to explain El to you last year?”
“That’s El?” Erica asked.
“Who’s El?” Robin asked.
“I’m sorry,” Nancy said. “Who are you?”
“No need to get snippy, Nance.” Me.
“I’m Robin, I work with Steve.” Robin.
“She cracked the top secret code.” Dustin.
“Which is how we found out about the Russians.” Steve.
“Russians?” Jonathan asked. “What Russians?”
Pointing behind us, I exclaimed, “The Russians!”
“Some of them,” Erica said.
“What are you talking about?” Lucas asked.
“Didn’t you hear our code red?” Dustin asked.
“Yeah.” Mike. “But I couldn’t understand half of what you were saying.”
“Goddamn low battery.”
“How many times do Liv and I have to tell you with the low battery?” Steve exclaimed.
“Yeah, well everything worked out, didn’t it?”
“We almost freaking died!” I exclaimed, feeling El move away from me.
“Yeah, but we didn’t.”
“But we almost did! It was pretty damn close.”
“Okay, Russians?” Lucas asked. “As in, they’re working for the Russian government?”
“What is it that you’re not comprehending?” Dustin asked.
“Is he not speaking English?” I asked.
“We have a full-blown Red Dawn situation.”
“So this has nothing to do with the gate?” Max asked.
“It’s got everything to do with the gate…,” I said, looking behind me at Eleven on the ground. “Holy shit.”
Mike was the first to jump into action, running to her and kneeling down by her side.
“What’s wrong with her?” Erica asked.
“What’s wrong?” Mike asked, looking down at El.
“My leg, my leg,” El whimpered.
“Her leg, her leg, okay,” Jonathan said, taking the wrapped bandage from her leg.
Once her leg was visible, we all voiced our disgusts, tears springing to my eyes at seeing her leg looking like it was severely infected and… moving on the inside? It looked almost like a worm moving inside.
El screamed, and a tear slid down my cheek.

Upside Down Feelings III
Chapter 7: The Bite
Tumblr media
summary:
word count:
JUST A HEADS UP: THIS CHAPTER HAS NOT BEEN EDITED OR PROOFREAD!!
“Jesus, slow down, Robin!” Steve slurred.
“Yeah, what is this, like, the Indy 500?” You agreed.
“It’s the Indy 300,” Steve corrected.
“No, dumbass! It’s 500!”
“It’s 300!”
“Let’s say a million,” You smiled before you both burst into laughter.
“What is wrong with them?” Erica asked Robin.
“I don’t know.”
“Why are they acting so weird?” Dustin looked at her. “You think they were poisoned?!”
“I don’t know!” She shouted. “Stop asking me questions, I’m trying to focus-“
The small red car slammed into something, sending you flying against the metal grate that separated you from the kids up front. You both yelped and groaned in pain, rubbing the back of your heads.
“You alright back there?” Robin asked.
“You’re never driving the Bronco again,” You mumbled, making Steve giggle.
“They’re fine,” Dustin rolled his eyes, hopping out and running to the back to open the doors for you. “Come on. Get out.. LET’S GO!!”
You both began to move before all three of them yanked at your limbs, earning annoyed, slurred grumbles as they shoved you into the elevator again.
“Stay there,” Robin ordered before pressing the buttons.
“It’s not gonna work!” Steve shouted.
“Yeah! It’s not gonna- Woah!”
You both stumbled back as the elevator shot you back up towards the mall with speed.
“I have an idea!” Steve looked at you, hopping onto the red cart beside you. You held it in place as he appeared to surf, whooping and giggling together as he tried to hold his balance.
“They seem drunk,” Erica told Dustin.
“No, I’ve seen them drunk before. And this was not what they acted like,” Robin shook her head. “They’re high.”
“High?!”
“Like on drugs?!”
“ON LIFE, BABY!” You shouted, earning a cheer from Steve before he lost his footing and slammed into the ground. “WIPEOUT!”
You both giggled again. Dustin placed his palm on Steve’s forehead.
“He’s burning up.”
“You’re burning up!”
“One sec- One sec- Steve, hold still!” Dustin parted his eyelids to get a closer look at his eyes, earning whimpers of pain. “His pupils are super dilated.”
“Yeah, because they obviously got drugged!” Robin rolled her eyes, walking over to you. “Look at me. Are you drugged?”
You gasped.
“I would never!” You frowned. “Okay, fine! You caught me. But only because Eddie said it was fun.”
“You got high with Eddie?!” She widened her eyes. You giggled. “I knew you were lying to me when I asked you!”
“Of course I got high with Eddie! He sells weed, Robin. Obviously we smoked the weed,” You rolled your eyes.
“Y/N, look at me! Did the Soviets drug you?” You grabbed her cheeks.
“You are the prettiest girl in the whole world, Robin. No Russian will ever take that away from you. Your beauty is patriotic.”
“What does that even.. Yeah, she’s definitely high,” She brushed you off. “Dustin? How’s it going over there?”
“Steve, are you drugged?” Dustin ignored you both.
“How many times, Dad? I don’t do drugs. It’s only marijuana,” He booped Dustin’s nose.
“This isn’t funny, okay? I need to know what they did to you! Are you gonna die on us?”
“Boop!” He gently slapped his nose. “You both have the cutest noses.”
“Dustin had the cutest little button nose when he was a baby,” You grinned. “Hey, remember when I bet you five bucks you couldn’t fit that lego up your nose? We had to take you to the ER. Speaking of noses, I can’t breathe through mine. Is it still on my face?”
“They’re going to be looking for us up there so I need you to tell me where you parked your car,” Dustin continued to ignore you.
“Oh, can we make a pit stop at the food court?” Steve looked at you.
“I would kill for a hot dog on a stick,” You smiled.
“Ooh!! If these guys didn’t know we made out already, I would kiss you right now!”
“YOU MADE OUT?!” Dustin shouted.
“Dustin! Focus!” Robin shook her head. “Yes, you can eat or make out as much as you want after this but you have to tell us where you parked your car-“
“Uh-oh,” Steve blinked. “The car’s off the board.”
“What?”
“They took the keys!” Steve emptied his pockets. “The Russians, they took the keys! Like forever ago!”
You giggled as Robin searched your pockets, finding them to be just as empty.
“Stop it! That tickles!”
“That’s a bummer, right?” Steve grinned up at Dustin. “Boop!”
The sober kids all stood up, looking at each other with anxious frowns. They all ignored you and Steve’s intoxicated banter, propping you up once the elevator halted and opened. You followed the pack outside, sticking your tongues out to taste the air.
“STOP!” The gates burst open, revealing armed Russian guards.
“SHIT! COME ON! COME ON!”
“GO! GO!”
“RUN, YOU IDIOTS! RUN!”
“WHY ARE WE RUNNING?!” Steve asked as you all sprinted back into the building. You both got herded through the hallways, only pausing when your guides were unsure if the coast was clear. Robin led the way through the familiar path until you all somehow ended up in the movie theater.
“You two! Sit!” She hissed.
“No, no, no! These seats are too close!“
“Dude, these seats blow!”
“Then don’t watch the movie,” Dustin whispered.
“We wanna watch it!” You frowned.
“THEN WATCH IT!”
A round of shushing erupted through the packed room.
“Sorry..” Robin whispered. “Whatever you do, don’t go anywhere.”
“Fine, Mom!” Steve rolled his eyes, making you laugh again. The group all scoffed and wandered off to find their own seats.
“Does this count as a date?” Steve whispered to you.
“Totally,” You nodded. “You even bought us popcorn and everything! Best date ever!”
You reached into the bag and grabbed a fistful of popcorn. You both watched the movie for a few minutes before he looked over at you.
“You’re so pretty,” Steve sighed, completely mesmerized.
“You think I’m pretty?” You giggled.
“Uh, duh! Like, the prettiest ever,” He snorted.
“You’re really pretty too. But God, you can be such a dick sometimes.”
“I really can be. I’m trying not to be one anymore but it’s such a hard habit to break,” He nodded. “If I’m ever too much of a dick, just kiss me. That’s like the red button at the gas station that stops all the gas from flowing if there’s an accident.”
“Your lips are buttons?”
“My lips are dry buttons.”
“Ew! Dry, bloody buttons.”
You both giggled, earning around round of shushing.
“I have a solution for your dry buttons,” You whispered. “Two words. Water. Fountain.”
His eyes lit up, grabbing your hand and leading the way out of the theater. You both stumbled into the lobby, taking turns drinking from the water fountain.
“This water tastes like heaven,” He gulped.
“So, like, I wasn’t totally focused in there or anything but.. I’m pretty sure that mom was trying to bang her son,” You said.
“Wait, wait, the hot chick was Alex P. Keratin’s mom?”
“Yeah, I’m pretty sure.”
“But they’re the same age.”
“No, but he went back in time.”
“Then why is it called Back to the Future?” He snickered.
“‘Cuz he has to go back to the future because he’s stuck in the past. So the future is actually the present which is his time.”
“… Wh-.. What?”
“‘S a good thing you’re handsome, Harrington,” You sighed. “My mouth’s dry.”
“Here,” He moved aside, presenting you with the fountain. “Drink.”
You grinned, stumbling over before allowing the sweet, cold liquid to flow into your mouth and making its way into your stomach. You couldn’t help but hum with happiness, downing the nectar of the gods.
“See! I can share,” He crossed his arms. “I’m like so good at sharing.”
“You are good at sharing,” You looked up at him. “You always share your slushee with me when you come back from your breaks!”
“Like I’m good at being a part of something.. A couple. I’m good at being in a relationship.”
“What are you even talking about right now?” You giggled.
“I’m telling you that I’d be a good boyfriend,” He scoffed, annoyed that you didn’t get the memo the first time. “I’m like an awesome boyfriend.”
“Steve, The Hair, Harrington? A good boyfriend? How many girls have you slept with since October?” You snorted.
“None that I really liked!” He defended his honor. “It’s not that I didn’t try to like them. They just didn’t really compare to this girl I’m crushing on. The downside of liking her is that she always steals my slushees after my break.”
You giggled, wiping your mouth with your wrist before speaking up again. “I have no clue how you’re so good at relationships. I’m horrible at them.”
“Nah,” He stepped away, looking up at the ceiling as he continued. “You were just with the wrong…” His voice faded as his jaw dropped. “Woah… Hey, Y/N. You gotta check this out.”
You swallowed another mouthful of water before standing up and waltzing over to him. You followed his gaze and were greeted with a light show. The lights danced around, melting into one another and reaching down to kiss your noses. Utterly mesmerized by the show, you didn’t dare look away even as you felt as if the world around you was spinning.
It wasn’t until you both grunted, trying to swallow down the water that attempted to force its way back up, that you both took off running into the bathroom. You coughed and gagged, barely making it to the toilets on time to release the contents in your stomachs. You both retched for about fifteen minutes, only gaining back a semi-sober consciousness after the second to last flush.
“The ceiling stopped spinning for me,” You sighed, laying down on the tile below you. “Is it still spinning for you?”
You heard him shuffle in the stall next to you. “Holy shit. No. You think we puked it all up?”
“Maybe,” You responded. “Ask me something. Interrogate me.”
“Okay,” He chuckled. “Interrogate you, sure, um.. When was the last time you, uh, peed your pants?”
“Today.”
“What?”
“When the Russian doctor took out the bone saw!”
“Oh, my God!” He cackled.
“It was just a little bit, though,” You giggled.
“Yeah, it’s definitely still in her system,” He muttered to himself. You continued to laugh as you sat up, leaning on the wall behind you and crossing your legs.
“Alright, my turn!”
“Okay,” You could tell me was smiling by the way he spoke. “Hit me.”
“Were you actually in love with Nancy?” You asked.
“Kinda. I thought so. It felt like it in the moment,” He sighed. “Were you in love with Eddie?”
“Nah,” You chuckled. “I never thought so.. I think he was right to break up with me. I loved him, I just wasn’t IN love with him, you know? He deserves better than that.”
“Oh.”
“You still kinda in love with Nance?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“I think it’s because I found someone who’s a little better for me.”
“Robin?” You teased. He laughed.
“No, not Robin. Hasn’t she told you?”
“Told me what?”
“.. I- no, it’s not really my place to-“
“Oh, that she’s into girls?” You laughed. “Yeah, I’ve known since sophomore year. I’m surprised she told you!”
“Yeah, me too,” He chuckled. “It’s crazy though. Dustin thought she was the one I liked. He kept saying, you know, you gotta find your Suzie. You gotta find your Suzie..”
“Big talk for someone with a fake girlfriend,” You added, making him snort.
“To be honest with you, I’m not 100% sure she’s real either.. But that’s not-that’s not really the point. That doesn’t matter. The point is this girl, you know, the one that I actually like..” He swallowed down the nervous knot in his throat as he continued. “I think Dustin might actually want us to get together more than I do, if that’s possible. And, I don’t even know how exactly I got into the same exact situation I was in as a fourteen year old, but the girl who broke my heart once totally has the power to do it again. She was my biggest and baddest heartbreak, and I’m not entirely sure I ever got over her..
“Especially after Halloween when she held me until I stopped crying and took my back to her place. That night, she was having this nightmare and wouldn’t stop gasping and whimpering until I put my arm around her. Then she just fell right asleep on my chest and it all felt so… right.
“I convinced myself I could put my feelings aside so we could be friends, because I didn’t wanna lose her again but then.. she kissed me and, as if she wasn’t all I thought about before, now it’s like she’s the only thing that is able to dance around my mind. Even when I was getting beat to a pulp, my mind couldn’t wondering if she was okay.
“And she’s funny- I mean so fucking funny. Ever since I became her friend again, it’s like I’ve laughed harder than I’ve laughed in a really long time. And she’s smart. Way smarter than me, like first in her class type of smart. She can crack, like, top secret russian codes and.. She’s honestly unlike anyone I’ve ever met before…” He finally paused, feeling his heart drop at your silence. His knuckles knocked on your stall. “Y/N? … Y/N, did you just OD in there?”
“No..” You drew in a shaky breath. “I am still alive..”
A brief silence ensued before you watched his legs slide under the stall, the rest of his body following along, before he propped himself on the wall opposite you.
“The floor’s disgusting,” You scrunched your nose, wincing a bit at the pain that erupted throughout it.
“Yeah, well, I already got a bunch of blood and puke on my shirt, so..” He smiled softly as you let out a breathy chuckle. Your face fell as you got a better look at his battered up features. You reached forward, gently lifting his chin to examine the damage.
“Jesus, they got you good..” You breathed. He shrugged.
“At least my nose isn’t broken,” He teased.
“Does it look broken?” Your eyes widened, making him chuckle again.
“Little bit, yeah. It could just be swollen though,” He nodded, looking down at it sympathetically. You sighed, letting your head hit the wall behind you at you both sat in silence once more. “So, what do you think?”
“About?”
“This girl.”
“I think..” You drew in a breath before looking into his eyes. “She’s scared.”
“Of.. losing the friendship?” He blinked, trying to fill in the blank. “Of telling him she doesn’t feel the same way?”
“No, it’s definitely not that,” You shook your head. “She’s scared because she does want this boy in the same way but she doesn’t know if she can offer him what he wants.. What he deserves… She’s scared because you.. You have this way of tearing down the walls that I’ve strategically placed for relationships. Steve, I’m scared because I don’t know if I could fight it with you.”
“Fight what?” He blinked. You looked down. “The urge to leave again?”
“The urge fall in love again,” You shook your head, briefly looking into his eyes before fixing your gaze on your fingers.
“I wouldn’t..” He leaned forward with a serious look, adjusting his body so that his arms rested on your knees. “I wouldn’t hurt you, you know. I actually don’t think I have it in me to hurt you. Look, I know it’s scary to put your heart in someone else’s hands but we can take things slow, you know? As slow as you want. We don’t even have to say the L word. Maybe not for like the first year or two-“
“Years!?” You couldn’t help but giggle at his future plans. Part of you was shocked at how natural it sounded falling from his lips and how badly you wanted that. You couldn’t put your finger on what exactly made it so different with him. For the first time ever, the thought of spending years with someone didn’t scare you. It didn’t send you running for the hills. Nor did it make you shut down emotionally.
It excited you.
“I mean, yeah. Is that too soon? We could wait for year five or ten if it makes you feel better,” He shrugged, making you laugh. “Look, my point is, I know how you feel about relationships. But this one would be on your terms. We’ll take it as slow as you need to. Every milestone, every kiss, everything- I promise I won’t do any of it without your consent. I just.. I want this. I want you.. so bad.”
“I want you, too,” You smiled, feeling him happily squeeze your thighs. “So bad.”
“Okay, but just making sure, this is like official, right?” He blinked. “Like officially exclusive?”
“Yes, Steve, it’s officially exclusive,” You laughed.
“Like, how exclusive?” He clarified. “Like when people ask me if I’m single, do I say I’m seeing someone or do I tell them I have a girlfriend?”
You threw your head back in laughter.
“What?! It’s a serious question!”
“Is this seriously your way of asking me to be your girlfriend?”
“What? Is one drugged up movie date and a couple makeout sessions too quick to ask?” He chuckled.
“No, but that’s the least romantic way I’ve ever been asked to go steady with someone!”
“What?! The whole first part was super romantic!” He laughed. “That was like the most romantic thing that’s ever come out of my mouth! Come on, Henderson- I have to get some points for that speech.”
“That was a very romantic speech,” You admitted.
“Thank you!” He playfully shouted, causing you both to giggle for a moment before your eyes locked once more. You felt him gently rub your skin with his thumb, looking at your lips with those dreamy eyes of his. “I wanna kiss you so bad but your nose really does look wonky. It’s like tilting to the side.”
“Shut up!” You giggled, holding your side as the pain began to sink in again. “Stop making me laugh- it hurts!”
“Plus we just puked so that would be the worst tasting kiss ever,” He added, dropping his forehead on your shoulder as you both erupted into a cackling fit. The door beside you burst open to reveal Robin, your brother, and Erica looking at you both with annoyance.
“Okay, what the hell?!” Dustin shouted. You both froze for a moment before looking at one another. It only took a single snort from your mouth for you both to burst into laughter again. He slapped your leg, falling back as you both wheezed and held your stomachs, hoping to ease the pain stabbing at your bruised ribs.
“Get them off the floor. The movie’s almost over. We need to move,” Robin huffed. The children helped you both up before you all wandered into the back hallways again.
You reached the lobby just in time to catch the crowd as they exited the movie theater. The kids led you into the mass, allowing you to blend in as you all walked out.
“That actually worked,” You smiled.
“Of course it worked. It was my plan,” Robin scoffed.
“Now all we have to do is get on the bus with the rest of these plebes, and home sweet home, here we come!” Dustin smirked.
“Yeah, we might not wanna go to your house,” Steve spoke hesitantly.
“Why?”
“Well, I might’ve told them your full name.”
“And address,” You nodded.
Dustin’s eyes widened. “What is wrong with you?”
“Dude, I was drugged!” Steve blinked.
“So?”
“So?!”
“So you resist! You tough it out! You tough it out like a man!”
“That’s easy for you to say!” You stepped in. “You weren’t-“
“Guys..?” Robin muttered. You all looked up to see the same Russian soldiers checking ticket stubs at the exit. You paused just as they looked over at you.
“Abort. Abort! Abort!”
You twirled around again, taking off towards the food court. Once you reached the escalators, you chose to slide between them to speed you all up. The group followed you as you led them towards the pizza place. You all crouched down behind the counter, hugging your knees and breathing quietly as you heard several footsteps descend from the escalator.
Men spoke quietly, moving even quieter as they searched the place for any sign of you. Steve took your hand in his, squeezing it tightly as those footsteps collectively close closer. You clenched your eyes shut, preparing yourself for the worst, when a car horn began to blare loudly through the vast space.
You all jumped, freezing in place before the men screamed and a series of ear piercing sounds echoed through the room until something finally crashed loudly behind you.
You all looked at one another with confusion before peaking your heads out from behind the counter to see what that was about.
Your eyes took in the view: bloodied men scattered about and a car crashed into the mall to your right.
To your left, stood Eleven. Dustin’s friends ran up from behind her, along with Nancy and Jonathan. You all let out sighs of relief before running to go meet with them.
“THAT’S MY GIRL!” You shouted, following your brother to the escalators.
“You flung that think like a Hot Wheel!” Dustin giggled, running into Mike and Eleven’s arms.
“Lucas?!” Erica cried.
“What are you doing here?!”
“Ask them. It’s their fault,” She pointed at you.
“True, yeah. Totally true. It’s absolutely our fault,” Steve nodded.
“I don’t understand what happened to that car,” Robin looked at you.
“El has superpowers,” Dustin spoke up as you opened your mouth to explain.
“I’m sorry?”
“She threw that thing with her mind,” You agreed.
“Come on. Catch up,” Steve rolled his eyes.
“That’s El??” Erica asked.
“Who’s El?!”
“What the hell are you doing here?!” Nancy asked you.
“Cracking a top secret code,” You frowned. “Why do you think we were hiding from those Russians?”
“Russians?!” Jonathan asked you. “Wait, what Russians? And why are you both all bloody?”
“The Russians!” Steve pointed at the bodies behind you.
“Those were Russians?!” Max questioned.
“Some of them,” Erica added.
“And we’re fine, thank you for asking,” You rolled your eyes.
“What are you talking about?!” Lucas waved his arms.
“Didn’t you hear our code red?” Dustin asked.
“Yeah, but I couldn’t understand half of what you were saying!” Mike explained.
“Goddamn low battery!”
“How many times do I have to tell you with the low battery?!” You and Steve shouted simultaneously.
“Well, everything worked out, didn’t it?!”
“Worked out! We almost died!” Erica scoffed.
“Yeah, but we didn’t, did we?” Dustin snapped.
“It was pretty damn close.”
“Can we please go back to the whole Russian thing?! They’re working for the Russian government?”
“What are you not comprehending?!” Dustin rolled his eyes. “Am I not speaking English? We have a full-blown Red Dawn situation!”
“So this has nothing to do with the gate?” Max looked up at you.
“It has everything to do with they gate,” You shook your head. “They built this machine that’s opening-“
A thud and yelp behind you interrupted you mid sentence. You all turned to see Eleven lying on the ground with bloody actively running from her nose. You quickly ran over to her, crowding around her as she whimpered in pain.
“My leg!” She responded to the questions. “My leg!”
“Move! Let me through,” You pushed aside the kids before unwrapping her bandage to reveal a very infected, oozing wound with something white bulging from the middle. You all exclaimed in disgust, gagging and groaning at the sight before whatever sat inside the wound began to violently thrash around. El groaned before letting out a pained scream. You felt Steve pull you back as you all watched helplessly for a moment as the young girl screamed and sobbed.
“What do we do?!” He asked you. All eyes landed on you.
“I don’t know!” You shouted, looking back at the wound that moved around, making painful, gushing sounds. “I don’t know! I don’t know!”
“Think!”
“I DON’T KNOW!” You screamed, heaving as you looked up. The kids fell silent for a moment before your eyes lit up and your heart sunk at the idea that popped into your head. “Someone get me a clean, sanitized knife.”

The Angel In Garden of Evil | Chapter Eleven: Putting The Pieces Together Again
Summary: Hobie's in town and Angel isn't a very good patient.
Warnings: 18+ Only, mentions of injury, soft Peter, angsty Angel, mentions of the bombing, medical equipment, business talk, genre typical tropes.
Word Count: 3.1k
A/N: Okay, so I'm still really unsure about the end of this, I feel like things went from 0-100 real fast regarding Angel and Felicia and feel like the end just feels clunky in rhythm but I don't know how to fix it so we're just gonna let it be and keep moving forward. This is mostly plot and dialogue. We are bringing things down into a slow period here because everything else so far has transpired in the space of around 48 hours and of course with Angel's injuries we need a little time to settle. Anyway we start puzzling together the back story of why Angel really came back to New York in this chapter so I hope you're ready...

ELEVEN
Beep boop… Beep boop… Beep boop…
“I don’t care how much it’s gonna cost, I want her at home where it’s safe, not in some shitty hospital room where anyone can walk in off the street.”
‘Peter?’ Her body was so heavy, her brain foggy. ‘What was that sound?’
Beep boop… Beep boop... Beep boop…. Kurrrrsshhk. Beep boop... Beep boop...
‘Did he say hospital?’
Nothing.
Beep… Beep… Beep.
“Hey, boss, the British cavalry has arrived.”
Eddie?
Beep… Beep… Beep.
There was a change in pressure on her hand. The scrape of chair legs on the floor.
“Thanks man, do you think you can…”
Nothing.
Beep… Beep… Beep…
Ouch. Her whole body ached. She scrunched up her face, her skin felt so dry as her facial muscles creased. Uhhhggg. Why couldn’t she move? Why did she feel so heavy and achy and…
She opened her eyes, blinking a couple times in the dark room. Where was she?
“Hey Sleeping Beauty- No, no! Don’t move.” A feminine voice said beside her.
She rolled her head to see a woman with bleached blonde hair sat in a chair beside her, a magazine now held closed in her fingers as she sat forward and reached a hand out to her.
“Hurts.” Angel said hoarsely.
“I bet.” Felicia said as she stood up, stepping closer to something just out of sight of her vision. Felicia hit a couple of buttons on the morphine machine and it let out a small hiss as the next dose was released down the tube, feeding itself into the cannula in the back of Angel’s hand. There was a couple second delay as it took the liquid a moment to start pumping through her bloodstream, but she soon released a small sigh of relief as it began to take effect.
“There you go.” The blonde said as she stepped back into Angel’s field of vision.
“Where’s Peter? What happened?” Angel tried to say.
“Don’t move, I’ll go get him. Just wait here okay.” Felicia said. Angel noted it was the kindest she’d ever heard the young woman speak.
Angel let her head sink back into the pillow as she tried to remember what had happened. They’d interrogated Jackson Brice and she and Peter got into a fight because she had shot him… then she had stopped in at the cafe… wait she had been picked up by Miles… Then it came back to her. The bomb. She grew panicked, trying to sit up, the machines that seemed to surround her suddenly increasing their beeping.
“Hey, hey, hey. Stop! Don’t move.” Peter said, rushing into the room. “Angel stop it. Stay still-“
She sneered at a pain in her side, a bandaged hand bracing her ribs. “Ahhhgg.”
“Baby- Princess, look at me. It’s okay, you’re okay, relax.” Peter tried to soothe.
“-Miles!” She attempted to interrupt.
“He’s okay, he’s okay.” He reassured her. “He’s currently sitting on the sofa down the hall with his leg up on the coffee table watching cartoons, he’s okay. It’s gonna be okay.”
His hands helped to relax her back into the pillows of the bed as the beeping machines began to return to their previous steady rhythm.
“The hub.” She croaked, tears in her eyes as she looked at him. He couldn’t say anything, his eyes falling to look at the bed sheets as he gave a small shake of his head.
“No.” She said quietly. “NO!” She said again, her voice breaking into a wail as tears stung her eyes. “How many people?” She tried to ask, her words strained as she fought to contain her tears. He shook his head again, unable to speak. “Peter!” Her voice pleaded.
“They’re still digging people out of the rubble.” He said broken.
Her head rolled away from him as she sniffed, tears silently staining the pillow as she tried not to sob, knowing it would hurt her body too much. He brushed a soothing hand over her arm. She sniffed again as she turned back to him and asked, “how bad-“
“You sustained a small fracture to your wrist and broke 3 of your ribs. You’re probably also gonna have a nice scar here.” He said, lifting his thumb to gently ghost across her left eyebrow, not close enough to actually touch, but still indicate where she’d split her head open. There was a pause as he looked her over. “If you guys hadn’t stopped off at that cafe…” he said, his voice trailing off. Then they probably wouldn’t be here right now. Her mind filled in for her. “What made you…” she could tell he was too emotional to even complete his sentence, just relieved she was still alive.
“My Mom.” She said wistfully. Her brow furrowed, “We turned onto the street and I just, after our argument, I just needed a time out… Peter she was there. I know she was there, I could feel her. She saved me.”
Peter never really believed in ghosts or spirits but he knew there had to have been someone looking out for him that day to be able to bring her back home to him.
“How long…”
“You’ve been asleep for a couple days.” He informed her.
“What else have I missed?”
“Hobie arrived last night.”
“Hobie’s here?”
Hobie Brown was the head of their British operation. They’d sat down with a few people on their London visit four and a half years ago to help expand Peter’s operation and reach. Hobie had been her choice. He was old school British punk with a heart of gold, a stick it to the man attitude with loyalty to the little guy, just like Peter. She thought he had been the perfect pick and it turns out she wasn’t wrong seeing as their London alliance was still going strong.
“Yeah, he called and said he was hopping on a plane the moment they started showing the bombing on the news.”
“Okay, so what’s the plan?” She tried to shift herself back up against the pillows so she sat up, instead of lying down.
“The plan is that you’re going to rest.” Peter quickly said.
“Am I fuck!” she began to protest.
“Angel, you have 3 broken ribs and a fractured wrist, what do you think you’re exactly going to do?”
“I can’t just sit here and do nothing.”
“Yes you can. And you will.” he insisted. “Unless you’re hiding away any other secrets that are gonna help us put an end to the Vulture, then there’s nothing more you can do and I’d sooner die than let you go back out there and get hurt- again.” he pressed.
She was silent. She had to analyse the facts, no matter how much she hated it, he was right.
“Look I promise to keep bringing you updates but there’s no way I’m letting you leave this building again until I’ve personally put a bullet in Adrian Toombes’ head.”
There’s a long pause between them before she asks, “So I guess this means you’ve forgiven me for everything that happened downstairs?”
Peter fights the smile that tugs at the corner of his lips at her choice of subject change as he turns his head to look at the ceiling, composing himself, before he can look at her again.
“Princess, I heard that bomb go off and immediately thought the worst, you think I’m gonna stay mad at you for what happened?” There was a quiet raspy chuckle to his voice, like he couldn’t even believe she had asked that question. “But there is something I need to ask you about.” He said, his voice turning serious. “I need you to tell me what happened when you came back from Italy.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, your Father was adamant about keeping you out of the city, heck even out of the country to keep you away from me and caught up in our drama. Why did he suddenly change his mind?”
She thought a moment as she tried to work out what he was getting at before recounting the events that had brought her back to the city. “Hymie just showed up at the house one day, said he had orders to bring me home.” she said with a frown.
“And you didn’t think that was odd?” Peter asked her.
“I mean yeah a little, but I had been writing letters to my Dad and asking to come home ever since he sent me there. I figured things between you and him might have died down, that you might have come to some sort of arrangement, but then I got home…” her voice trailed off as she continued to think. “They took me straight to his office when we got back. I was so jet-lagged-” she shook her head as she tried to shake off the drugs and recollect, but it just made her head throb and feel dizzy. Peter recognised the anguished look on her face and immediately reached his hand out to cup her cheek and hold her head steady, his thumb brushing over her temple as she closed her eyes.
“It’s okay, you should rest.” he cooed.
“No, no, no. I can do this,” she reassured him. “They took me to the office.” she started again, “He said he’d allow me to stay home on three conditions.”
“What were they?”
She opened her eyes to look at him. “I mean the first and most obvious one was I wasn’t allowed to see you.” Peter reluctantly nodded in understanding, willing them to get past the fact before it started to consume them again. “Then he said he wanted me to learn how to use a gun properly and how to fight. I was awoken at 5am the following morning by Luka to start my training. I wasn’t allowed out of the building until I was deemed proficient enough.”
“Okay and what was the third thing?”
“I had to do exactly what he said, when he said it. Said it was for my safety and protection.”
“Did he say anything about the Italians?” Peter asked her.
“No, not at first. Not until the stash house on west 53rd and 9th got raided.” her brow furrowed again, trying to work out what her husband was getting at. “Why?”
“Hobie said the Vulture had had a sit down meeting with the Romano’s in Italy not long before shit started kicking off with your Dad.”
“As in the Italian mob?” she asked.
“Yeah, seems they reached out to the Bianchi’s over here who started targeting your Dad’s business.”
“But what’s that got to do with me coming home?”
“Did your Dad mention something to you about a break in at the Phoenix?”
“The club?” she asked.
“Yeah.”
She shook her head. “No.”
“We thought it was just some kids breaking in and stealing some liquor, but turns out it was never about that.”
“What do you mean?”
“It’s not about what they took… It’s about what they left behind?” She was silent as she waited for him to get to the point. “It was pictures of you.”
“What?” her voice was a whisper, she didn’t understand.
“They were pictures of you, in Italy.” Peter said, getting his phone out of his pocket and pulling up the snap shots Eddie had forwarded on to him after he’d gone digging and asking questions the day before.
There was picture after picture. Her walking through the little village grocery shopping. Her helping a neighbour pick grapes. There were even pictures taken of her through the windows of her little secluded cottage. Pictures of her cooking in the kitchen. Getting changed in her bedroom.
“They were left on the desk in the club’s office. Jimmy found them when he came in the following morning to find the place had been robbed. Whether the kids were sent to deliver the pictures or just the perfect cover we still don’t know but the message that was left was pretty clear. They knew where you were and they wanted your Dad to know they knew that.”
She was silent as she tried to process it all. “So he brought me home because he thought it’d be safer by his side.” she questioned, her brow frowned to the point Peter thought she was gonna split the stitches above her left eye.
“Hey! There she is! I heard you was awake.” Hobie’s voice boomed as he entered the room. His tone and ever jovial mood instantly broke the brewing tension that had been beginning to fall on the space.
“Hey Hobie.” she smiled for him as he moved over to try and gently hug her. She groaned slightly, her muscles still slightly tense, achy and bruised, despite the morphine now steadily pumping through her body.
“You know, this guy right here has been one moody fucker without you.” Hobie jested, slugging Peter in the shoulder.
“What? Spider boy here?” she jested with a smile, “Never.”
“Haha.” Peter deadpanned, still uncomfortable with being the butt of the joke, ever since she returned. “Look she needs to get some rest, I’ll talk to you downstairs.” Peter said, kindly dismissing Hobie. Although Hobie worked for Peter, he was much taller than Peter and he’d seen Hobie throw a punch many times; and being at the end of Hobie’s rage was not a place Peter ever wanted to be. so he always made sure to speak to him like an equal. “You gonna be okay if I’m gone a moment?” he turned to ask her.
“Depends, how long is a moment?” she asked back coily.
“Get some rest.” he said standing before leaning over her and placing a kiss to her head. “You hungry? I could get Eddie to bring something up if you want?” He checked in with her as Hobie left the room.
At the mention of food her stomach growled and they had to hold in their laughter at its uncanny timing. “Can I get one of those chicken avocado sandwiches from the Diamond?” she asked sheepishly, as if it would be too much of a task.
“I’ll go get an order put in now and have someone run it over.” he said. “I’ll try not to be too long.” he said again before reaching to place another kiss to her head. “Rest.” he commanded as he pulled the door too, but she was having none of it.
With no one else around, she fully assessed the room. It wasn’t their bedroom and it didn’t look like either of the guest rooms Peter had shown her either. She assumed she must be in one of the other empty apartments in the building, the room having been especially kitted out to fit the machines she had around the bed. Her body groaned as she tried to carefully reach for a tv remote on the simple bedside cabinet, her fingers hitting the power button and switching it over to the news channels, eager for any news to start piecing together what had happened.
‘16 dead, 49 still critically injured after Chinatown bombing.’ A headline across the bottom of the screen read.
“2 days after the bombing here on Mulberry Street,” a reporter said as she stood in front of a line of yellow caution tape posted at the end of the street to cordon the area off, “the final number of those injured or deceased is still to be determined. Police are saying the explosion is tied to an increasing number of incidents linked with organised crime families here in the city.”
“Hey, turn that off.” Felicia said as she stormed into the room.
“But I want to know-”
“No, you don’t. Trust me.”
“They said 16 people were dead.”
“Stop asking questions you really don’t want the answer-”
“For fuck sake!” Angel exclaimed, snapping. “I am not a child. I have been wrapped up in this shit since before you were even born.”
“Don’t get all high and mighty with me!” Felicia sassed back. “You have no idea what I’ve been through.”
“Yeah, I’m sure fucking my husband has been so hard for you!”
“HEY! HEY! HEY!” Eddie said as he rushed into the room. “WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? WE’RE ALL ON THE SAME SIDE, WHY ARE WE GETTING AT EACH OTHER?”
“Uuuhhhgg I’m done here. She can be your fucking problem.” Felicia said as she stormed out of the room. She slammed the tv remote into Eddie’s chest as she left.
“I know you’ve just been through a whole thing and are hopped up on pain meds but not cool Angel, not cool.” He continued to mutter as he went and put the tv remote on top of a chest of draws on the other side of the room.
“I just want to know what I’ve missed and what’s going on!” Angel protested.
“What’s going on is that we’re barely hanging on by a thread right now.” Eddie said to her honestly. “The Vulture has made shit very fucking personal and also put a spotlight on everything going on making it impossible to retaliate. The cops are up our ass, Peter is trying to work out a new deal with Stacy but given their history it is not going well. I’m not gonna lie, it’s an absolute shit show and with you out for the count Pete has been working with one hand behind his back. We need everyone to work together right now, not making shit worse.”
“Did you know that he’d been fucking her?” Angel blurted out.
“I suspected but it wasn’t my place to say.” Eddie said. “But it doesn’t mean he wasn’t fucked up about you being gone. You’ve always been his everything Angel and you know that.” She rolled her eyes at him. “Look, I was coming up here because this just arrived downstairs for you.” He said handing her over a phone.
She frowned for a moment thinking it was a brand new phone that Peter had got for her, but when she clicked the power button she saw it wasn’t a new phone, it was her phone. She’d left it behind at the house when everything had happened. She hadn’t even thought about it. “One of the kids handed it in.” Eddie informed her. By kids he just meant one of the younger recruits around the same age as Miles. “Said he found it when they got sent over to the house.” The screen had a small crack across it now, but it was completely functional. “They umm charged it up, they didn’t know who’s phone it was because it was dead and of course the picture.”
The lock screen picture was an old photo of her and Peter on a beach in the Bahamas. It was where they had gone on their honeymoon all those years ago. It was the only thing that had kept her going the whole time they were apart.
“He really did miss you Angel.” Eddie reassured her before he started to back out of the room.

Don't Do Drugs, Kids
Dustin and Erica had managed to find transportation while workshopping a rescue. Luckily for you, they had found a tuk-tuk which meant all of you could fit.
Unluckily for you, Dustin was the driver.
“Jesus, slow down!” Steve yelled as he crashed into the side of the metal box.
“Yeah, what is this, like, the Indy 500?” Robin also yelled, steadying herself.
“It’s the Indy 300. Steve corrected.
You shake your head, too concerned for how Steve’s face was swelling to be amused at how out of it they both were. Judging by how bruise-less Robin looked, Steve had taken all of the punches.
“No, dingus, it’s 500!”
“It’s 300!”
“Let’s just say a million.”
They both share a look before bursting out in laughter.
You move closer to the front, dodging Robin’s leg as she kicks out over a bump.
“What is wrong with them?” Erica asks as you lean against the front of the tuk-tuk.
“I don’t know.” Dustin shakes his head.
“They’ve been drugged.” You sigh and Dustin turns to look at you with wide eyes.
“What-”
“DUSTIN, WATCH OUT!” You and Erica both scream.
In the time it takes him to realise the obstacle, he crashes into a pile of steel drums, causing the vehicle to come to a harsh stop. The crash sent you flying backwards and you fell further into the back of the truck, your landing slightly padded as Steve let out a strained ‘oof’.
“Sorry.” You apologise, slowly sitting up.
You had ended up crashing into him and were now almost led on top of him as he slumped against the wall. You look up to see Steve staring at you, blinking slowly. From this close, you could observe how badly his left eye was bruising, blood spotted around his face. It physically hurt you to see him look so beaten up.
“You are sending some real mixed signals, lady.” He commented before reaching out and touching your nose, “Boop.”
“Come on!” Dustin runs around, Erica by his side as she points back down the hallway.
You crane your neck to see Russian guards catching up to you.
“Shit, yeah. We gotta go!” You try to pull Steve up but he completely relaxes his body, making it harder for you to hold on to him. “Steve!”
He starts giggling, starting Robin off.
You angrily stand, looking at them both. “Get out of this fucking vehicle. Now.”
You didn’t shout the words but you made sure to put on your best authoritative voice. One you’ve had to use many times from babysitting duties.
They immediately shut their mouths and Robin looked like she was about to cry.
“Jeez, okay mom.” She muttered and soon enough, she starts rolling out of the tuk-tuk. Literally.
Steve mimics her movements and soon they’re laughing again.
You roll your eyes, jumping down and thrusting the keycard into Dustin’s hand.
“Open the door, we need to get out, fast.” You instruct and he runs to a wall panel, hastily swiping the card and allowing Erica to step into the elevator before aiding you in dragging Steve and Robin into the space.
“Push the button!” You yell, the Russian guards already too close for your liking.
Dustin was currently struggling with Steve so Erica ran over and slammed her hand down on the button, using the key card. The elevator doors shut just in time to stop a guard reaching you and you all breathed out sighs of relief.
Steve lets go of Dustin and climbs onto a handcart, holding his arms out.
“Surfs up!” He laughs and Robin leans on the handle of the cart, giggling.
You walk to the panel, shouts of protest from the other side.
“Which button is it?!” You scream, contemplating your choices.
“Just push any damn button!” Erica yells and you obey, slamming your hand down on the green.
Nothing happens.
Dustin shrugs, coming closer. He taps the button again. “Maybe it doesn’t-”
Suddenly, the elevator snaps into action, ascending at such a rapid speed that you and Dustin are thrown to the floor with him landing on top of you.
Erica grabs onto a box to steady herself. “This is gonna cost extra!”
“Dustin!” Your protest was muffled by his hat and he rolls off of you, panting.
“Don’t tell Suzie.” He pleads and you roll your eyes, sitting up to check on Robin and Steve. Who, to your amusement, were enjoying the fast ride a little too much.
“Hey! You look like you’re surfing!” Robin laughs as Steve stays balanced on the handcart.
“Surfing! Yeah!” The cart moves back and forth with Robin’s help and you can’t help but stare.
“They seem drunk.” Erica comments, raising a brow.
“Why would they be drunk?” Dustin shakes his head and you frown with worry.
“I’m a natural!” Steve suddenly shouts before pointing at you, “Check it out, Y/n!”
Robin smiles mischievously before yanking the cart away from under Steve, sending him flying to the floor.
“Wipeout!” Robin laughs hysterically as you and Dustin run to Steve.
“He’s burning up.” Dustin says, checking Steve’s forehead.
“You’re burning up.” Steve retorts, batting his hand away.
“And his pupils are super dilated.”
“Yeah, did you miss the part when I said they drugged them?!” You couldn’t tear your eyes away from Steve’s.
It felt like your fault. Maybe if you hadn’t distracted them by coming down here in the first place, they would have made it out unharmed.
“Boop!” Steve touches Dustin’s nose and the boy responds with a frown.
“Steve, are you drugged?” Dustin asks him.
“How many times, Dad? I don’t do drugs. It’s only marijuana.” Steve whines, reaching out to touch your nose this time instead. “Boop.”
“I am highly offended that you mistook me for your dad.” You deadpan and Steve boops your nose again. “I might kill him.”
Dustin sent you an exasperated look. “This isn’t funny, okay? He could actually die on us if we don’t know what exactly they gave him!”
“We all die, my strange little child friend.” Robin comments with a serious face, “It’s just a matter of how… and when.”
You all stare at her before you let out a breath.
“That was morbidly poetic.” You say, looking back to Steve, “Just stay with us, okay?”
“Boop.”
“They’re gonna be looking for us when we get to the surface,” Dustin shakes his head, turning to you, “Do you have your car with you?”
You nod.
“Oh, can we make a pit stop at the food court?” Steve asks, sitting up.
“I would kill for a hot dog on a stick.” Robin smiles.
“I need to get a hold of the party.” You say, ignoring your high friends.
“Why? You think they can help?” Dustin frowns as Erica groans at the mention of her brother.
“You don’t know?” You frown.
“I’ve been off the grid for a day now.” He shakes his head in confusion.
“Billy-”
“Uh-oh.” Steve suddenly says and you both whip your heads to him.
“What?” Dustin
“The car’s off the board.”
You frown. “Why?”
“They took the keys. I saw the keys on the table, like, forever ago.” Steve says and your eyes widen as you quickly pat your pockets. He was right. “Oops.”
Robin laughs with him. Dustin stares at you, panicked. You purse your lips.
“So… we’re gonna need another plan.”
Tumblr media
You stand by the phone, impatiently tapping the base with your finger as the line rang. No answer.
You sigh in frustration, slamming the phone back down. You turn to look at the film projector currently rolling Back to The Future. Damn; you wanted to see that movie.
Erica and Dustin had been instructed to sit in the cinema and watch Steve and Robin. There was no way you could go out into the mall without one of the Russians catching you. You needed to blend in, and you needed a plan.
“I have a plan!” Dustin yells behind you, making you jump.
“Jesus, Dustin.” You sigh before looking down at the radio in his hands. “Yes.”
After a hot second, someone finally replies to the code red.
“Dustin?” Mike’s voice blared out and you and Dustin did a happy dance before focusing back on the walkie.
“Mike!” Dustin replies, “Oh, my God, you have to listen. I know I’ve been MIA, and I’m sorry, it’s not because I’m mad. I mean, I was actually mad-”
“Dustin!” You remind him and he nods rapidly.
“But- But it’s also because I was trapped in a secret Russian base with Steve and Y/n and-”
There’s some static and you frown while Dustin continues his ramble.
“I know that sounds insane, but the Russians have infiltrated Hawkins! The god damn Russians! They have a giant laser they’ve been building underground and now they’re using the damn thing to open the gate. And now they’re after us and we don’t have a way out of here, so I need you to come and get us. Can Nancy drive?”
There’s nothing but static.
“Mike?”
“Dust-- are-- there?--”
“Mike, do you copy?”
Dustin suddenly flips the walkie, staring at the red blinking light.
“Shit! Not now. Please, not now. Mike!” Dustin tries before everything goes silent. The radio ran out of batteries.
“What- No!” You yell, grabbing it, “How the hell did that happen?”
Dustin grimaces. “I may have tried contacting people when we were stuck in the elevator.”
“The one deep underground?” You deadpan before pursing your lips, hissing when it tears open your bottom lip.
“You okay?” The boy frowns, noticing the slight cut.
“Other than a bruised face and a hole in my leg?” You sigh, “I’m fucking fantastic.”
“Oh my god, your leg!” He widens his eyes as he finally notices the bandage.
“Yeah, been there, done that.” You stand up, pacing. “What the hell do we do now?”
“Without a radio, I haven’t got a clue.” He sighs, shaking his head solemnly.
An idea finally strikes your mind.
“The radio!” You say, shaking a pointed finger at him. He blinks at you.
“It’s still, still, very much dead.”
“No. My radio! I- I left it in Scoops before I came to find you guys.”
“We could use it!” Dustin catches on, jumping up before stopping. “But how do we get there without running in to one of our Commie friends?”
“You don’t.”
“What-”
“Look, I need you to take care of the others, okay? At least until Robin and Steve sober up.”
“But I want to-”
“I’m sorry.” You say, hand on his shoulder. “I’m sorry for saying all those things at Scoops. I was really scared and angry and I shouldn’t have taken it out on you. So, let me make it up to you.”
He pulls you into a tight hug, face hidden in your jumper. “Don’t die.”
“Before I meet Suzie?” You laugh, a little sadly, “No way. Now go enjoy the movie.”
You push him towards the cinema entrance and he looks back at you one last time before disappearing down the stairs.
Quickly, you walk over to the back exit, one that leads you to the delivery hallways behind the shops. It was the fastest route for you, not to mention hidden. You just prayed that the Russians hadn’t had the same thought.

This won’t be like super awesome or something but here we gooooooooo-
Good mornin- or Evening, I guess
The sunset that shines it’s last beams.
The slow ticking of the alarm clock.
The calm and breathing air that settles before the night dwellers awake.
Yuli snuggles into the pillow that they held, hoping to sleep just a little bit more before having to hear the alarm go off, signaling that it’s time to get up and work. Despite the need of wanting to sleep, their body slowly stirs, knowing that it’s an inevitable thing. They can only let out a weak groan as have this internal struggle with themselves; causing them to not notice the grasp on their waist getting tighter.
Alucard presses his lips on the back of their neck, slowly turning into actual kisses as he himself starts to wake. Alucard carries the kisses to the smaller vampire’s cheek, making him giggle as Yuri slowly wakes up to the tenderness of their form. He looks over at Alucard and gives him a half tired smile, his sentence being cut off by a yawn: “Good morning, dearest.”
“Good evening. Slept well, pet?” Alucard answered back, a soft look in his eyes but his usual grin taking up his face.
“As well as dead can sleep. Wish we could for a few more minutes.” They stretch, sitting up from the shared bed that Alucard and Yuli slept in. They crack the joints that got stiff and stuck, making them let out a moan of relief as their spine cracks into place.
“It would be delightful, but then a few minutes would turn into an hour, and a hour would turn into the whole night.” Alucard shared, sitting up from his spot, “And that would turn into Sir Integra being rightfully furious with us, pet.” He finally add, booping Yuri’s nose. They sniffled, getting up from the bed to start getting dressed into their proper uniform.
Yuli takes a moment to put the dress and apron on, making sure each button was buttoned up and each bow was tied. He sits at the vanity, putting on their usual make up of red and black eyeshadow and blood red lipstick.
“I do not simply understand how you insist on getting ready like that. It’s so tedious and takes up time. Didn’t you learn how to manifest your own clothes?” Alucard scoffs. In a blink he’s already dressed in his usual attire; the red trench coat and shades. Yuri only smiles as they finish their makeup, moving on to putting their hair up into a white scarf.
“I have learned; I just prefer not to. What happens if I forget to keep them on? Wouldn’t want to be caught naked. Tho…” they turn their head towards him as he gets close to them, “You wouldn’t mind seeing that, I’m sure others would.”
The lanky red vampire chuckles, it coming deep from his chest. He leans down and presses his lips on their neck, covering the vampire mark, continuing his perverted laugh into their skin.
“I think people should appreciate art at it’s fullest. Who wouldn’t enjoy looking at a body like that?~” Yuli rolls their eyes and pushes him off, getting up from their seat, putting on the rest of their uniform: stockings and sliver tipped boots.
“You’re only saying that because you know what you can do to please me.”
“True… but I also know how to make you shiver for more. Make you think of nothing else. Drive you to madness. Make you beg fo-“ they stop him, their face becoming red as they try to chuckle their way out of this.
“Yes yes, we get it. Don’t need to get riled up before work, Al.” the blushing maid rolls their eyes and smirks. They give him a quick peck on his lips, having to stand on their tip-toes to reach a bit.
Yuli checks the clock one last time, acknowledging its time to head out and begin work. “I’ll be quiet busy. Dinner has to be made, some of the office rooms have to be clean, and whatever miscellaneous task Walter and Sir Integra has for me. I assume the moment you make yourself known to be a awake, you’ll be sent off to a mission or few. The possibilities of us seeing each other before sunrise might be slim.”
As Yuri explains, Alucard smirks and wraps his arms around them one last time, embracing the smaller figure. He takes in the sent and soft feeling of them, the little maid making his insides jump a bit whenever he hold them. Yuli softly moans, nuzzling their head onto the hit man’s chest, feeling a jolt of life spark through them one last time. The give each other one last kiss before Yuri takes the handle of the door, ready to open it.
“One last thing.”
“Ye-EEEAAAS!?” Yuli jumps a little bit, feeling Alucard’s large hands grab at their ass, squeezing it in the process. Yuri swears they can feel their heart beat out of their chest.
“For good luck~” Alucard laughs, watching the short vampire turn bright red at the feeling. They huff and open the door.
“H-hurry up and get going before I change my mind about being nice to you!! I swear you do this to cause me trouble.” He grumbles, rubbing their butt a little bit at the aggressive assault on their cheeks. Alucard laughs as he walks out the door, his body slowly merging with the shadows as he begins his shift at the graveyard.
“Cannot wait to see you soon, my lovely pet~”

Head Over Heels
Book 3 - Chapter Seven: The Bite
Tumblr media
Steve Harrington x gn!reader
Head Over Heels Masterlist
Summary: Steve comes to a realization while he and Robin try to figure out if the drugs have worn off.
Warnings: drugs, guns, throwing up, blood, the little monster thing in El’s leg
Steve watches all of the doors pass by from the back of the transport car, knowing that you could be behind any one of them, and he couldn’t do anything about it.
The speed of the car, and Dustin’s driving causes his stomach to turn. Whatever the Russians put in them was clearly not meant to be used before a car chase.
The car turns, making a sharp right, lurching Steve and Robin into each other.
“Jesus, slow down!” He groans.
“Yeah, what is this, like, the Indy 500?” Robin asks, rubbing her head.
“It’s the Indy 300.” Steve says, all thoughts of you leave his mind as he can only seem to focus on one thing at a time.
“No, dingus! It’s 500!”
“It’s 300!”
“Let’s say a million.” Robin shrugs.
Both start to laugh, practically laying down in the cart connected to the car.
“What is wrong with them?” Erica asks Dustin.
“I don’t know.” Dustin turns to her.
“Dustin, watch out!” Erica tries to warn him.
The car crashes into a stack of the metal canisters, coming to a sudden stop.
Steve and Robin groan as they’re thrown forward.
“You guys alright back there?” Dustin turns to them, then back to Erica. “They’re fine.”
They quickly get out of the little car, and run to the back, unclasping the door between them and Steve and Robin.
“Come on, we gotta go, now.” Dustin ushers them out.
They both just stare at the two kids, slowly moving to sit up.
“Come on! Get out!” Erica shouts.
Dustin grabs Steve, roughly pulling him forward and out of the back, Erica doing the same to Robin.
“This sucks.” Steve says as Dustin walks over to the door to the elevator, pressing buttons.
They somehow manage to push both loopy sailors into the elevator with only minimal resistance. Robin complains about possibly getting stuck inside again, while Steve laughs and trips over nothing.
They both grin when they see a wheeling cart. Steve immediately jumps on it as the elevator shoots back up to the mall. Robin grabs onto the handles, pushing and pulling him.
“Hey! You look like you’re surfing!” She shouts to him.
“They seem drunk.” Erica raises a brow at Dustin.
“Why would they be drunk?”
“I’m a natural, check it out!” Steve raises his arms up, then crashes to the ground as Robin pulls the cart out from under him.
“Wipeout!” She yells, pointing at him.
Dustin kneels down next to Steve, and lays a hand on his forehead.
“He’s burning up.” He sighs.
“You’re burning up.” Steve shoots back at him.
“One sec, one sec.” He tries to hold Steve’s eyes open just long enough to look at them. “Steve, Steve.”
“God, no.” Steve tries to turn away. “Ow!”
Dustin lets go of his face and turns back to Erica. “His pupils are super dilated.”
“Maybe he’s drugged.” She shrugs.
Steve boops Dustin’s nose when he turns back to face him.
He softly slaps the side of Steve’s face. “Steve, are you drugged?”
Steve scoffs. “How many times dad? I don’t do drugs. It’s only marijuana.”
“This isn’t funny, okay? I need to know what they did to you. Are you gonna die on us?”
Steve boops his nose again.
“We all die my strange little child friend.” Robin says from her corner of the elevator. “It’s just a matter of how, and when.”
Dustin shakes his head, and looks back down at Steve. “They’re gonna be looking for us up there, so I need you to tell me where you parked your car.”
Steve’s eyebrows furrow. “Oh, can we make a pit stop at the food court?”
“I would kill for a hot dog on a stick.” Robin nods.
“Alright, yeah, food. Yes, you can have as much food as you want, but only if you tell me where your car is parked.”
“Uh-oh.” Steve’s eyes widen.
“Uh-oh?”
“The car’s off the board.”
“What?”
“They took the keys.” He reaches into his pockets and turns them inside out. “The Russians, they took the keys. Like, forever ago. That’s a bummer, right?”
Steve and Robin both begin to laugh to themselves.
When the elevator stops, Steve and Robin are more than eager to get out, following behind Dustin and Erica as they walk outside. Robin sticks her tongue out of her mouth, her head tilted up towards the sky.
“Oh my god, that tastes so good! Steve, can you taste the air?”
Steve sticks his tongue out now too. “I taste it! I taste it!”
Dustin and Erica stop walking when they see the metal gate in front of them open. Russian guards walk towards them, holding guns.
“Shit! Come on! Come on!” Dustin shouts, as the two of them run back and start to push Steve and Robin towards a door.
They all run inside, Dustin closing the door behind them. They run down the hall, Erica holding Steve’s wrist, and Dustin holding Robin’s.
“Where are we going?” Erica asks as they turn a corner.
“Just trust me!” Dustin answers her.
They only run for a few minutes, stopping at a pair of doors. Dustin opens one and peeks his head inside.
“All clear.” He nods. He crouches low as he starts to jog inside and around a corner, passing a poster for a new movie, Back to the Future.
The other three follow him, Steve slowing down only slightly to grab a bag of half eaten popcorn from the trashcan. They stop again when Dustin opens the door to the theatre. He looks around, searching for any empty seats to hide in.
“Come on.” He leads the group to the front near the screen, points at the two empty seats, then looks at Steve and Robin. “You two. Sit.”
“No, no, these seats are too close.” Robin says as she and Steve sit down.
“Dude, these seats blow.” Steve says with a mouthful of popcorn.
“Then don’t watch the movie.” Dustin whispers.
“We wanna watch it!” Robin argues.
“Then watch it!” He shouts, earning shushes from various audience members. He lowers his voice again. “Whatever you do, don’t… go… anywhere.”
“Fine, dad.” Steve rolls his eyes.
The two drugged teems could only stare at the screen for so long before realizing how confusing the movie they were watching actually was. They found themselves wandering back outside the theatre, Steve pulling Robin towards a water fountain.
He gulped the water down as Robin leaned against the wall of posters.
“So like, I wasn’t totally focused in there or anything, but… I’m pretty sure… that mom was trying to bang her son.” Robin looks over at Steve.
He pulls away from the fountain just long enough to respond. “Wait, wait, the hot chick was Alex P. Keaton’s mom?”
“Yeah, I’m pretty sure.” She shrugs.
“But they’re the same age.”
“No, but he went back in time.”
“Then why is it called Back to the Future?” Steve argues.
“He has to go back to the future because he’s in the past. So the future is actually the present, which is his time.” Robin explains.
Steve stares off into space for a second, thinking. “Wh… what?”
Robin rolls her eyes, and pushes Steve away from the fountain. “No, no, it’s my turn. You’ve had enough.”
Steve stumbles as he’s pushed away, but catches his footing. He looks up at the glass ceiling twinkling above him.
“Wow. Hey, Robin. You gotta check this out.”
Robin walks over and stands beside him, now looking up at the ceiling too.
“This ceiling is beautiful.” Steve points up.
“Oh wow.” Robin turns in circles, looking at the ceiling from different angles.
They both slowly start to feel uneasy, then all of a sudden nauseous. They start to come to, running as fast as they can to the bathroom, each kneeling over a toilet in a stall.
Once their coughing and groaning has stopped, they each sit silently in their stalls.
Robin looks up. “The ceiling stopped spinning for me. Is it still spinning for you?”
Steve looks up as well. “Holy shit. No. You think we puked it all up?”
Robin shrugs. “Maybe.” She can hear Steve shuffling in the next stall. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah. Now that I’ve got that out of my system, I’m gonna go get Y/n. Should’ve never let Henderson leave without them.” Steve tries to stand, but sits back down when he feels movement in his stomach again. “Shit.”
“What?”
“I’m still dizzy.”
“Maybe you need to wait a little longer.” Robin tries to tell him.
“We shouldn’t have left Y/n in there at all, I’m not gonna wait longer to get them back.” Steve pushes himself up, but leans against the wall. “I’ll be fine.” He tries to move towards the door, but stumbles, falling against the wall near Robin’s stall.
“Will you please just sit down? You’re not gonna make it very far if you can’t even walk straight.” Robin tells him.
Steve sighs. He knows she’s right, that if he tried to get back there he’d be taken immediately. “Fine.” He grunts, sitting down in Robin’s stall. “How will we know when it’s worn off?”
“Ask me something. Interrogate me.” Robin says with a Russian accent.
Steve sighs. “Um, when was the last time you, uh, peed your pants?”
“Today.”
“What?”
“When the Russian doctor took out the bone saw. It was just a little bit though.” She laughs.
“Yeah, it’s definitely still in your system.”
Robin kicks his shoe with hers. “Alright, my turn.”
“Okay. Hit me.”
“Have you… ever been in love?” She asks. She already knows the answer, but the drug might affect how much he’s willing to share.
“Yup, Nancy Wheeler. First semester senior year.” He points at his chest and makes an explosion sound.
“And now?” Robin raises her brows at him.
Steve runs a hand through his hair. “Now? I don’t know…”
“Steve-”
Steve shakes his head. “No. I know what you’re thinking. You, and Dustin, and everyone else make it very clear you think there’s something going on between me and Y/n, but there’s not, okay? We’re just friends.”
Robin opens her mouth to speak, but is stopped when Steve starts again.
“And besides, even if there was any chance that they actually liked me, it wouldn’t work out. I’m a shitty boyfriend. Hell, I’m a shitty friend. I left them down there. I couldn’t protect them.” His head hangs down, his hands covering his face. “Y/n deserves so much more than Steve Harrington.” He mumbles.
Robin frowns, moving to sit next to him, instead of across from him. “Do you remember Mrs. Click’s class? We both had her for home room.”
Steve looks up at her.
“You sat in front of me. And you’d come in late everyday, with a bagel for breakfast. You’d spill crumbs all over the floor. And you asked the stupidest questions.”
“Is this supposed to make me feel better?” Steve furrows his brows.
“Just shut up, and listen to me.” Robin takes a deep breath. “I was obsessed.”
Steve turns towards Robin now. “Uh, listen Rob, you’re amazing and all but-”
“I wasn’t obsessed with you.” She stops him. She stares at the wall ahead. “It’s just… she wouldn’t stop staring at you…”
“Mrs. Click?”
“Tammy Thompson. I wanted her to look at me. But she couldn’t pull her eyes away from you and your stupid hair. And I didn’t understand because you were a douchebag. And you didn’t even like her and… I would go home and just scream into my pillow.” Robin shakes her head.
“But, Tammy Thompson’s a girl.”
“Steve…” Robin breathes out.
“Yeah?” He watches as she sighs and raises her brows, waiting for it to click in his head. “Oh.”
Robin doesn’t let him think for too long, quickly pulling his attention back to the conversation. “What I’m trying to say is back in high school you had people lining up to date you. People were crazy about you. But now you work a minimum wage job in a mall, slinging ice cream for bratty kids, and there’s one person that, despite all of that, is still crazy about you. If I had someone that I cared about, that cared about me, the way you and Y/n do, I’d do something about it.”
“Holy shit…” Steve leans his head back, staring up at the ceiling.
“Holy shit?”
“I’m in love with Y/n L/n…”
“Yeah dingus, I could’ve told you that.” Robin scoffs.
Steve laughs, looking back down at the wall. “So, Tammy Thompson?” He asks softly, nudging Robin’s knee with his own. “I mean, she’s cute and all, but, I mean, she’s a total dud.”
Robin turns to him, a scowl on her face. “She is not.”
“Yes, she is. She wants to be, like, a singer. She wants to move to, like, Nashville and shit.”
“She has dreams.”
“She can’t even hold a tune. I mean, she’s practically tone deaf. Have you heard her?” He starts singing, pitching his voice up, making it sound nasally. “You see me now tonight, you see me more than ever.”
Robin throws her head back laughing. “She does not sound like that.”
“She sounds exactly like that. That’s a great impression of her.” Steve nods.
“You sound like a muppet.”
“She sounds like a muppet! She sounds like a muppet giving birth!” He starts singing again. “And if you can hold me tight-”
Robin joins him now too. “We’ll be holding on forever.”
“Exactly!” Steve grins.
They’re both in a fit of laughter when the door to the restroom slams open. Dustin and Erica storm in, looking displeased with the two teenagers in hysterics.
“Okay, what the hell?” Dustin looks between the two of them.
Steve and Robin share a look, then start laughing again, sinking further down against the wall.
Dustin shakes his head and sighs. “The movies almost over. Get up, we’re gonna try and sneak out of here.”
Steve stops laughing now, and sits back up. “Absolutely not. We’re going to get Y/n.”
“Steve-” Dustin starts.
“No. We’re going to get Y/n, and that’s final.” He stands up, feeling significantly better than when he tried to stand up earlier.
“He’s really in love with them.” Erica says to Robin, her hands on her hips.
Steve steps forward and nods. “Yeah, I am. So we’re not leaving this god forsaken mall without them.”
A smile quickly spreads across Dustin’s face. His friend finally accepting his obvious feelings for his crush warms his heart. “Alright, Operation: Rescue Y/n is a go.”
“Do we even have a plan? Because this sounds like more child endangerment.” Erica shakes her head.
Voices slowly start to get louder outside the door. Dustin walks over to it and opens it just enough to peek outside. Robin stands now as well, and the three huddle behind Dustin, waiting for instructions.
“Okay, blend.” He says when most of the theatre has emptied into the mall.
They all walk out into the crowd, making sure to stay in between groups.
Erica looks around, surprised. “Well shit, that worked.”
“Of course it worked.” Dustin scoffs. “Now we just have to get back to the loading area, and back in the elevator.”
Robin stops in her tracks as they get closer to the front door. “Guys.”
Men stand at the doors, checking ID’s of any teenagers that exit.
“Abort.” Dustin says.
One of the men turns to the group, making eye contact with Dustin.
“Abort! Abort!”
The four turn and run, pushing through the crowd in an attempt to get further inside the mall. They stop at the escalator that has been closed for the night, no longer moving.
“Come on, let’s go, let’s go.” Steve nudges the group forward.
Robin sits down on the middle section, sliding down. Everyone follows, then keeps running. They all duck behind a counter of one of the food kiosks, practically holding their breath to keep quiet.
Steve takes a deep breath, squeezing his eyes shut. This is it. This is how I’m gonna die. He thinks to himself. Y/n, I’m so sorry.
Gunshots fire off, three of them. Then one of the Russians grunts something, then another gunshot. They hear gun fall to the ground, then a sigh.
Steve furrows his brows. That sounded familiar? He isn’t sure, but he knows when he hears your words.
“Shit.”
He jumps up from behind the counter, his eyes locked onto your figure. You’ve got tears in your clothes, and blood coating your hands. You smile when you see him.
“Steve-”
He jumps over the counter and sprints to you, wrapping his arms around you in the tightest hug you’ve ever felt.
“I’m so sorry we didn’t find you, but Robin and I were drugged, and we only barely escaped and-” the words rush out of his mouth. He frowns when he looks down at your side. “You’re bleeding.”
The Russian guards had left you to your own devices as soon as the alarms started blaring. They made it quite easy to patch yourself up and escape, most of them running around like headless chickens.
You lift a hand to his face, softly brushing your thumb over his cheek. “So are you. You’re gonna have some serious vision problems in your left eye.”
He laughs, leaning into your touch. He leans his forehead against yours, closing his eyes, taking in this moment with you.
“You guys are cute and all, but I think it’s time we find a way out of here.” Erica says.
The other three have made their way out from behind the counter. They all stand together watching you and Steve reunite, with small smiles on their faces.
Your moment is cut short when you hear more voices. A new group of Russian guards, all holding guns, runs towards you.
You take Steve’s hand, holding it tightly in your own. You’re about to take off running when you hear the sound of a car alarm.
Everyone, the Russians included, all stop, and turn to the car that sits in the hub of the mall. It was put there for some sort of promotion, behind velvet ropes. You slowly step back, pulling the group with you.
The Russians all talk to each other, shrugging and shaking their heads.
You glance up at the second floor for a moment, and see El. You sigh in relief. Her hand is held up in the direction of the car. She throws the car at the group of Russians, and into the wall behind them.
El drops her hand as Nancy, Jonathan, Mike, Lucas, Will, and Max step forward. They run down the stairs as the four of you run to them.
Dustin crashes into Mike and El in a hug. “You flung that thing like a hot wheel!”
You let go of Steve’s hand and pull Nancy and Jonathan into a hug. They both wrap an arm around you tightly.
“Where have you been? I’ve been trying to call you!” Nancy says when she and Jonathan pull away.
“Sorry, I was a little occupied.” You laugh.
“Lucas!” Erica exclaims.
“What are you doing here?” He asks.
Erica nods to the four of you. “Ask them. It’s their fault.”
“True, yeah. Totally true. It’s absolutely our fault.” Steve nods.
“I don’t understand what happened to that car.” Robin looks back at the now wrecked car.
“El has superpowers.” Dustin points at El.
“I’m sorry?”
“Superpowers. She threw it with her mind. Come on, catch up.” Steve says.
“That’s El?” Erica asks.
“I’m sorry, who are you?” Nancy asks Robin.
“I’m Robin, I work with Steve. Y/n and I cracked the top secret code.”
“Yeah, which is how we found out about the Russians in the first place.” Steve nods.
“Russians? Wait, what Russians?” Jonathan asks, looking at you.
“The Russians.” You gesture to the men laying on the ground.
“Those were Russians?” Max’s eyes widen.
“Didn’t you guys hear the code red?” Dustin looks at Lucas.
“Yeah, and I couldn’t understand half of what you were saying.” Mike answers.
“God damn low battery!” Dustin groans.
“How many times do I have to tell you with the low battery?” Steve snaps.
“Okay, well, everything worked out, didn’t it Steve?”
“Worked out?” Erica turns to Dustin, a look of anger on her face. “We almost died!”
“Yeah, but we didn’t, did we?”
“It was pretty damn close.” Steve eyes wander back to you.
You want to calm the group down, but see El move away out of the corner of your eye. She slowly lifts her hands to her ears.
“El?” You step away from the arguing, towards El.
She groans, before falling to the ground.
“El!” You run over to her and kneel down, lifting her head to rest on your lap.
Everyone gathers around, kneeling down next to you.
“What’s wrong? What’s wrong? What’s wrong?” Mike’s hands hover over her, ready to do anything he can.
“My leg!” She groans.
“Her leg, her leg, okay.” Jonathan slowly peels a bloody bandage off of her calf, revealing a large lump in her leg.
It slowly starts moving around, causing El to wail. Mike keeps asking if she’s okay. You wrack your brain, trying to think of anything to do.
El screams in pain as it travels around in her leg.

I know what’s going on here. I know what’s going on here. Okay? I do. And if you want me to wander backstage to spill the boops... I’m the only one out of the boop loop, it would seem... and if we check my boop total here— I don’t NEED to walk to the counter, because I know what it is. It’s a big ol’ KITTEN, GANG. It’s a FAT BOP. HELLO!! A little LATE ADDITION to the numerical symbol chart brought to us from our friends in Booprabia, a little bit of trivia that I happen to know about the history of Booping. That kind of little tidbit would serve me well in most April fools booping scenarios, unless it had been RIGGED FROM THE BEGINNING! Oh, I’ve only just BEGUN to pull the thread on this sweater, friends. You would THINK in a website where there is only ONE thing to do on April Fool's, that one would STUMBLE INTO the boop button every so often, wouldn’t you? In fact, the probability of NEVER booping whilst scrolling is a STATISTICAL WONDER, and yet, HERE WE ARE. Introduced at the top of the day as a B.O.O.P., what do you think that means? Icarus, booping too close to the sun. But it seems Daedalus, our little master crafter over here, had some wax boopers of his own, didn’t he? Wanted to see his son be booped. Fall from the sky. Oh, how CLOSE TO THE BOOPS he flew! Well I’m NOT HAVING IT. I solved your labyrinth, puzzle master! The minotaur‘s escaped and you’re gonna get the horns, buddy! I CANNOT BE BOOPED!

Blanket Trap!
Day 3 for my lee!Tommy week! link for the prompts: https://fizzthelee.tumblr.com/post/690344255616663552/ah-why-ello-there-what-is-this-a-lee-tommy-week
Lee!Tommy, Ler!Ranboo, Ler!Tubbo, CC’s :D
Warnings: pinning, tickling, swearing
NOT A SHIP! SHIPPERS LEAVE
Tubbo was just trying to figure out what to make him, Ranboo and Tommy for dinner. In peace. But it was hard to focus as Tommy and Ranboo’s high pitched giggling from the other room. He went to the room they were in, and that was certainly a sight to see.
Ranboo crouched above Tommy, rolling Tommy up in a blanket, and both boys giggling their heads off. It only increased once Tommy was completely trapped, unable to get out on his own.
“What the hell are you two doing?” Tubbo couldnt help but smile at their antics.
“Tuhuhuboho! Hehelp! I’ve been trahahapped!” Tommy squirmed as much as he could in the blanket trap.
“Yohou’re a blahankehet buhurrihitoho!” Ranboo pointed at Tommy, and Tubbo started giggling along with them.
“Hehelp mehee!” Tommy whined and tried to kick his legs out. Tubbo smirked at him.
“Ah, don’t worry, bossman! I’ll help you!” He exclaimed as he walked towards Tommy.
Tubbo crouched beside him with a smirk, and Tommy quickly realized what Tubbo meant by ‘help,’ and anticipatory giggles flowed from him. Ranboo was now confused.
“Wahahait- Tuhuhubohoho noho! I chahanged my mihind, I dohon’t neheheed your hehehEHELP-“ Tubbo began poking and prodding at Tommy’s stomach, and Ranboo then smiled.
“Oh, no! I insist, Tommy. You need to get out of there, right? Say, Ranboo, mind helping out a bit?” Tubbo was acting like he wasn’t doing anything and Tommy was not very happy about it!!
“Nohoho! RahaHAHANbohoo, heHEHELP MEHehe! Nohot hiHIHIHIM!! RAHAHANBOHOHOO!” Tommy cackled as Ranboo smiled evilly yet playfully, squeezing up and down Tommy’s side.
“I think I’ll help Tubbo, it’s a perfect opportunity to get you back! You can’t do anything!” Ranboo brought his other hand up to Tommy’s neck, and Tommy tried to scrunch up his shoulders to prevent it. Key word; tried.
“Awww~! Poor Tommy, so helpless. I guess you’re stuck until we decide you’ve had enough~!” Tubbo teased, booping Tommy’s nose after finishing that final sentence. Tommy scrunched up his nose and turned away as a pink hue appeared on his face.
“ShuhuHUHUt uhup TUHUHbboHOhoho!”
Ranboo leaned his head down to whisper in Tommy’s ear, “tktktktktktktktk~!” Tommy flinched away and his laughter raised an ovtave.
“NahAHAHA! RAHAhanbohOHOO! QUHIHIT IHIHIT!” Ranboo vibrated his fingers into Tommy’s ribs, and he giggled along with Tommy. His laughter was too contagious!
Then Tubbo ended up finding Tommy’s tum button. “Uh ohh~! I think I’ve found the giggle button~!” Tubbo cooed and Tommy suddenly panicked.
“Nohoho- Tuhuhubohoho! Nohoho! Nahahat thehe behehelly buhuhUHUHUTTOHOHON! TOHOHOHOBYHEHE!” Tubbo wiggled his pointer finger into Tommy’s belly button, and the blanket being in the way just made it so much worse.
“I’m gonna getcha Tommy~! Tickletickletickle!” Tubbo teased.
“FUHUHUHUCK! TUHUHUBBOHOHO! MAHAHAHAKE IHIT STOHOHAHAHAP!” Tommy shrieked in laughter, and Ranboo ended up stopping his tickling from laughing at Tommy’s reactions.
“OHOH FUHUHUCK OHOHOFF RAHAHANBOOB!” Tommy tried to hit Ranboo with his head, and Ranboo gasped.
“Tommy! Did you just hit me!?” Tubbo paused as well to look at Tommy with a smirk.
“Yeheheah! Ihihi dihihid!” Tommy hit Ranboo with his head, successfully this time.
“Oh that’s it, Tubbo, move over for me, will you?” Ranboo said to Tubbo, and Tubbo complied.
Ranboo unwrapped Tommy from the blanket, but he sat on his upper thighs before he could get up and run.
“Hold his arms up, Tubbo,” Ranboo gestured at Tommy’s arms, which were only free for a matter of 10 seconds before being pinned above his head. Tommy could only lie down and watch as this happened, nervous giggles flowing freely.
“Plehehease guhuys- wehehe cahahan tahahalk abohohout thihis?”
“Mm.. nope! Now, here comes the tickle monsters!~” Tubbo exclaimed, and then Ranboo immediately blew a long, fat raspberry right on Tommy’s belly button right after the tease.
“AAAHAHAHA! RAHAHAHAN! NOHOHAHAHA!” Ranboo couldn’t help but giggle a bit into Tommy’s stomach, before blowing a second raspberry. Then a third. And a fourth. And a fifth.
“This is what you get for hitting me, and constantly wrecking me!” Ranboo exclaimed before blowing a 6th raspberry.
“RAHAHAHANBOHOHOO! CUHUHUT IHIT OHOHOUT!” Tommy cackled loudly as he squirmed on the floor, bucking his hips wildly. He didn’t really want this to stop, yet.
“Ranboo? Who’s Ranboo? I’m the tickle monster~!” Ranboo smirked as Tommy’s laughter raised in pitch at the tease.
“FUHUCK OHOHOFF!”
Tuhbo then pinned Tommy’s hand’s under his knees. “Oh, Tommy~! There’s another tickle monster who’d like to play~”
Tubbo then vibrated his fingers into the hollows of Tommy’s armpits, and the beeduo swore they’ve never heard the blonde scream so loud, ever.
“Tickle tickle, Tommy~!” Tubbo and Ranboo sang in unsion.
Ranboo blew another raspberry like the first one, and Tommy finally had enough.
“OHOHOHKAHAHAY! OKHAHAAHY! EHEHENOHOHOUGH! PLEHEHEASE STAHAHAP!” Tommy screamed, and the second the word ‘enough’ left his mouth, Ranboo and Tubbo stopped and got off of him.
“Ihihi.. eheheheh..” Tommy melted into the floor, still giggling his lil head off.
“You alright, bossman?” Tubbo asked, sitting to the left of him.
“Ihit stihill tihickles..” Tommy muttered through his giggles.
“Tommy’s feelin’ ghost tickles,” Ranboo cooed at the teen, and Tubbo giggled a bit.
“Shuhut ihit,” Tommy said to the older men lightheartedly.
“Would you like to lay on the couch instead of the floor? I’d say the couch is a lot comfier,” Tubbo suggested, and Tommy immediately lifted up his arms. “Carry me.”
“I’ve got ya, Toms,” Ranboo said before picking up Tommy bridal style, and Tommy giggled at the way he was held.
“Careful, Tom! I’ll drop ya!” Ranboo teased, pretending to drop Tommy, causing Tommy to flail.
“Rahanboo, what the hehell!” Tommy exclaimed, Ranboo giggling a bit with him.
Ranboo did the same fake-out a few times, making little “ohh!” sounds everytime, before setting Tommy onto the couch.
Tommy was squished in between Ranboo and Tubbo, and he really wasn’t complaining. They let Tommy choose the movie for that night, and he chose ‘Up.’
“I hope you two know I will be getting you back,” Tommy suddenly said about 7 miniutes into the movie.
The beeduo flinched and blushed slightly, but then Ranboo only retorted back. “Then we’ll just get you back for that, Toms~.”
“Then it’s just a cycle of revenge,” Tubbo pointed out.
“Oh well,” Ranboo and Tommy stated.
None of them would really mind, tickling helped the three bond, and they enjoyed making eachother laugh.

Snowmen | Kiara Carrera
Tumblr media
Warnings: none pure fluff
Pairings: Kiara Carrera x Female Reader
Summary: In which Y/N and Kiara decide to go outside and build snowmen together since it was the first snow.
© Honeybear-Yammy, please do not steal, translate, copy, or transfer my work.
Tumblr media
You looked out the window and gasped. It was finally snowing. It was the first snow this year and you were so happy. You loved the snow. You also loved Christmas and Kiara found it so cute how you loved Christmas and Winter so much. Kiara was kinda the opposite. She loved the Summer because she loved to surf but, she says having you around during the cold Winter nights made it so much better. You giggled and ran to Kiara. She smiled and chuckled when she saw how happy you were.
“Kie! Can we pleaseeeeee go outside?!” You giggled. “What has you so excited baby?” She laughed. “It’s the first snow of the year! You know how I feel about the snow. I really just want to go outside and do something and I want you to come with me!” You giggled. She loved how innocent and cute you always acted. “If it will make you happy then sure.” She chuckled and kissed your forehead.
“Yay!” You giggled and kissed Kiara’s nose making her smile. “You’re such a goofball.” She chuckled. You giggled and ran to the closet grabbing your winter gear. Kiara followed you grabbed her coat, mittens, and hat. The two of you bundled up and then headed outside. You smiled watching the fluffy snowflakes fall from the sky. You giggled and stuck your tongue out trying to catch some on your tongue. Kiara watched you and laughed. “You are so cute.” Kie chuckled. “And you are adorable!” You said with a giggle and poked her nose gentle. “Boop!” You giggled. Kiara laughed and shook her head.
“So, what did you want to do?” She asked. “Hmm..” You hummed tapping your finger to your chin. Kiara chuckled watching you, waiting for a reply. “Why don’t we make a snowman?” You giggled. “Sure.” She chuckled. “I’ll go inside and get everything we need.” She said with a smile as she walked inside. You smiled and felt so happy. Today was a perfect day for you. The first snow happened and you got to share it with your amazing girlfriend Kiara.
A few minutes later Kie came back out with all the things you would need to make a snowman. You smiled and clapped your hands happily. “Yay! Okay we should start with the bottom of the snowman first.” You said. “Well duh.” Kiara laughed making you chuckle. You and Kiara began to roll some snow around. The ball of snow slowly got bigger the more you rolled it around. You kept pushing it even after Kiara stopped.
“Jesus y/n, how big do you want this snowman to be?” She laughed. “Like… 7 feet tall.” You giggled. “I- how about we go a little shorter.” Kiara laughed. “Okay fine.” You chuckled and stopped rolling the now big ball of snow around. “Okay now we need the middle part.” You said. “Why doesn’t one of us do the middle and the other do the head?” She asked. “Sure.” You chuckled. “I could do the middle and you could do the head?” You asked.
“Sounds good.” She said with a chuckle and began to roll some snow around to make the head. You rolled your snow around as well to make the middle. After a few minutes of doing that you both finished your parts. “I’m done the middle.” You chuckled. “Ok good because I am done the head.” Kiara laughed. You put the middle ball on top of the bottom one then Kiara put the head on top. “Okay how about you go find some rocks for the buttons and I can go find some sticks for the arms.” You said.
“Alright.” Kiara smiled and walked out. You both began to look around for the things you were assigned to find. You found two sticks and tried to make them look like stick arms as best you could then put them on the snowman. Kiara came back with the rocks and you helped her put them on for buttons, eyes, and a mouth. “Okay did you get a carrot?” You asked. “Yup I got a carrot, a hat, and a scarf.” She said.
“Ok good!” You smiled. You stuck the carrot on the snowman for his nose then Kiara put the hat on. Then the two of you put the scarf on the snowman. “He looks great!” You smiled. “Yeah he does.” Kie said smiling back. “What should we name him?” She asked. You tapped your finger against your chin thinking.
“How about… Freezy?” You laughed. “Freezy? That’s a cute name. I like it.” She laughed. “Okay! Freezy the Snowman it is!” You giggled. “This was fun.” You giggled. “It was.” Kiara chuckled. “I love you baby.” She said. “I love you too baby.” You giggled and she pulled you in for a kiss. You smiled into the kiss. Today really was the perfect day.

***** minor spoilers for Stray *****
Everyone talks about missing some closure for wanting to see our cat clan again in the ending cutscene of Stray, but what about other tiny additions?
I kinda want to just chill with Morusque in the slums. We don’t have the option to ask them to replay the songs we’ve given them, and they only play the song for its set duration. I know there’ll probably be a playlist on YouTube for the OSTs, but just having the music/visual on repeat would be soothing to work to.
Ending conversations. Just make it one button. Please.
It was probably just my play style at the time, but it felt like I was in the slums for a long time vs. the rest of the game, especially the Antvillage. To be fair, I was trying to 100% the slums, moved on, and panicked in the sewers trying not to die. Didn’t have the motivation after that to 100% during the play through, but double backed to get (most of. I still need to get the two that you can only get during the Neco mission) the memories and the badges (I think I’m 3 or 4 of 6).
When showing the companions certain things, they repeated the same dialogue over and over. ‘Only a nerd would know what this is.’ ‘The outside isn’t real.’ Etc. Etc.
I know there’s already a lot of cat interactions, but please let them pick us up. 😭 I want to meow at Momo until they finally get annoyed, pick me up, and just… walk around. LET ME PURR AT THEM. ❤️ Let me jump on granny’s lap and boop her! Or more interactions where we sit and cuddle with them. I just wanna show more affection to my robotic friends.
AND ANOTHER THING. Let 👏 me 👏 carry 👏 B-12 👏 through 👏 the 👏 ending 👏 cutscene! I don’t want to leave my friend behind!
