Hi! Can you do a Din x F!reader where when Din is visiting Greef Karga and telling him about how he wants to redeem himself, but then Karga asks him if that's really what he truly wants? Maybe the reader takes Grogu somewhere while they talk and he asks Din something like, "Have you ever considered not going back to Mandalore? You can be happy here with her." Or something along those lines? Thanks! You have a great talent! ♡

Thank you so much sweet anon 💕 This is such a lovely idea and I had such a great time writing it. I live for soft Din who just yearns for happiness but needs a little help realising that he is deserving of it. 💗

You are sitting in the passenger seat of the cockpit with Grogu, who is softly babbling, in your lap as he cradles his beloved little silver ball with both of his tiny hands. Din is sitting in the pilot chair next to you, getting the Razor Crest ready for landing. You can’t help but stare at him as he skillfully manoeuvres the ship. You have been travelling with the Mandalorian and his foundling for a little over a standard year now and what had started out as a small crush on Din has now bloomed into so much more, even though you had tried to fight it and protect your heart you have fallen utter and deeply in love with him.
The three of you are on your way to Nevarro to talk to Din’s employer Greef Karga. You have been with him to Nevarro a few times before and you are exited to be back, but you can’t help but worry that this might be your last time on the planet, at least while travelling with Din and little Grogu.
You have tried to fight your feelings for Din, but no matter how badly you tried there was nothing you could do to stop yourself from falling. You know that you are only setting yourself up for heartache, knowing that there is no way that the two of you ever could be together, even if he reciprocated your feelings which you don’t think he does. He is Mandalorian after all and you are not…  Even though he is now an apostate. But that is why he will be travelling to Mandalore, to proclaim his creed and seek redemption and you can’t help but have a feeling that that journey won’t involve you which hurts. You know that your stay on the Crest always has been temporary. Just a job, after all. Just a needed help looking after Grogu. Staying on the ship with the little youngling while Din is out hunting bounties, but you feel like Din soon will tell you that you no longer will be needed.
That you will be parted with Din is going to hurt, but losing Groguis going to be unbearable. You have ended up caring so much for the little green kid, loving him so much, you don't think you could love him more had he been your own child. It is terrifying, the thought that you one day will have to say goodbye to him. You try not to think too much about it and you shake your head as Din is landing on the barren ground that constitutes as the spaceport of Nevarro City.
You cradle Grogu in your arms as you descend down the ramp with Din, the warm glow of the late afternoon sun is reflecting off his beskar making him look even more impressive than usual. You can’t help but feel proud to be walking by his side as you step through the pillars of the tall arch that open Nevarro City up from the spaceport. You are met by Karga that are walking towards you, arms spread in a welcoming gesture and a big wide smile lighting up his face. You can’t help but giggle when you notice that he has two small droids in tow, holding the ends of his long robe so it doesn’t drag along the ground.
“Mando, my friend! I was beginning to fear you would never return.” Karga greets him before turning his attention to you, offering you a great big smile. “And I see your beautiful travel companion hasn’t left you yet.” He lets out a friendly laugh. “You haven’t got tired of that old bucket head yet my dear?” You let out a giggle, you have missed the older man’s friendly, teasing banter.
“Not yet.” You smile at him. “Besides, this little one makes me stick around.” You say, looking lovingly down at the little child in your arms.
Grogu is shrieking with happiness at the familiar face and Karga looks at him with an even wider grin on his face than before, if that is even possible. “And would you look at that, my favourite little green baby! How are you doing kid?”
“Grogu.” Din says in a flat but not unfriendly tone, looping his thumb in his belt.
“Come again?” Karga turns towards the Mandalorian.
“His name, It’s Grogu.” Din clarifies.
“Huh, if you say so.” Karga shrugs his shoulders before taking Din’s gloved hand in his, placing his other hand on the armour of Din’s upper arm in a welcoming gesture. “Now come, come! A great deal has happened here since your last visit.”
It is true that a lot of things have happened, the city is looking amazing, many of the buildings are new and shiny, more trees and greenery than ever before, even the people on the street look more vibrant and happy.
“Yes, a lot of things have changed here. It doesn’t even look like the same place.” Din lets out.
“Yes, yes! We have a construction boom going on in the city, it is all rather exciting. But now come, come! It has been a while and I’m sure we have plenty to discuss.” Karga smiles, clearly proud of the new state of the city. “The two of you are very welcome to join us, of course, but I will not take offence if you would prefer to take a look around instead, it will probably be more exciting for the little one.” Karga addresses you, gesturing to Grogu. “I will happily offer one of my droids to give a tour of the new city if you are interested or maybe show you to the healing baths, those Twi’leks know what they’re doing, very soothing.”
“Thank you but I think we will be alright. I think we will go to the bazaar, find something nice for this one.” You smile down at Grogu who is happily cooing at your words.
“Good choice, you have to spoil the little bogwing as much as possible, being spoiled is an important part of being a youngling. And make sure you go to the fruit market. The meiloorun melons are most delectable this time of year.” Karga states before turning to Din. “Well, shall we, Mando? I’m sure we have a lot to discuss.”
Din turns his head back at you, his visor looking straight at you and you know that his eyes under his helmet must be locked with yours, it is a thought that always sends a warm rush through you and makes your heart beat a little faster.
“I’ll find you later. You have your com on you, right? ” He asks you which makes you roll your eyes with a teasing smile on your lips even though you still feel your heart beat a little faster than normal by his gaze.
“Of course.” You say, picking up the little device from your pocket to show him. “But we will be fine. You worry too much.” You say as you put the comlink back in your pocket. “I’ll call you if a reptavian is out to eat us or if we are about to be abducted by pirates or, I don’t know, maybe a kowakian is stealing Grogu’s meiloorun.” You tease him, he is always being so overprotective.
“Ah, ah. You must remember, a man is always allowed to worry about the people he loves. ” Karga chuckles while giving Din a playful pat on the back. Your smile falls at this and you feel your face heat at his comment. Din clears his throat awkwardly. You know that Din cares for you, but in what capacity you’re not sure, he is always making sure that you are safe and comfortable. He, of course, loves Grogu dearly, but Karga’s innuendo about Din loving both of you has your heart beating even faster than before.
“Shall we.” Din comments quickly, clearly flustered by Karga’s words too.
“Sure.” Karga exclaims. “It was lovely to see you again, now go and enjoy the city. I think you will find the place quite pleasant, we have built a new school too, great for the little ones.” He tells you, gesturing at Grogu, like he is trying to sell the idea of settling down here before turning to leave with Din.
You watch the backs of the two men as they walk up the stairs before they disappear into Karga’s building. You shake your head slightly before looking down at Grogu. “Shall we?” You ask him, echoing Din’s words from before. The little kid gurgles happily up at you which makes you smile widely. Maker, you love his cute little face so much.
You walk down the bustling street to the bazaar. You have to admit that the changes to the city really are very impressive, you could actually imagine living in a city like this. You start your shopping, a ration run was long overdue anyway and besides the needed basics you find a lot of other things too. A new robe for Grogu, happy to find some small enough to fit him, Maker knows he needs more, you feel like you are constantly washing the few he has. You also find a few things for yourself and you are happy when you find a booth that is selling Din’s favourite brand of nutrition packs, and in his favourite flavour too, not that he has told you that they are his favourites, but it was easy to figure out as they always are the one he picks.
“So, is it melon time now?” You ask, looking down at Grogu after you have paid for the nutrition packs. Grogu is cooing happily as if he understands and you chuckle down at him making your way to one of the fruit stands.
Karga was right, the meilooruns look perfect, ripe and mouthwatering. You smile at the elderly Twi’lek behind one of the booths, placing Grogu down on the ground before you start picking out the tastiest looking fruits, making polite conversation with the fruit seller while still keeping an eye on little Grogu. You pay for the fruits and the Twi’lek behind the booth hands you the last one. You feel Grogu tuck at your pant leg as he looks up at the fruit in your hand, clearly very interested in the orange-red melon that is almost bigger than his head. You chuckle at him, bending down to let him hold it which makes him let out an excited shriek.
“Good job!” You coo at the youngling as he proudly holds the big fruit with both hands, waddling over to the basket that you have lowered for him, where he, with a little difficulty but complete determination, lifts the fruit up to join the rest.
“Aw, what a good boy, helping mama out.” The Twi’lek coos at Grogu.
Your heart clenches at the woman’s comment and you yearn by the idea of actually being the little green kid’s mother. You smile at the fruit seller and then down at Grogu
“Yeah, he is the best.” You sigh softly.
Grogu is looking up at you with those big bright eyes of his, softly babbling before reaching his tiny arms up towards you in a gesture to tell you he wants you to lift him up. You are happy to oblige, picking him up and nuzzling your nose against his little chubby cheek before leaving a soft kiss on the same spot.
“Well, sweetheart I think that was all.” You tell him with a smile. “Your dad is probably also finishing up with Karga about now.”
“Why don’t you take some of these too, on the house, for being such a sweet boy.” The Twi’lek says, putting a few pika fruits and some jogans down a brown paper bag.
“Oh, no, that’s too kind of you.” You try to politely decline the woman's sweet offer but she just shrugs you off.
“Now, none of that. We like giving gifts here on Nevarro.” She smiles at you as she shakes her head, making her lekku’s swing from side to side, before looking at Grogu. “Why don’t you give these to your father, little one? Proof that you were nice and helpful while out shopping with mom?” She smiles at Grogu who is cooing and making grabby hands at the bag and you can’t say no to him, so you let him take it and thanking the sweet Twi’lek before going out to see if Din is finished at Karga’s. You can’t help but feel at peace here, people have been so sweet and welcoming.
—
Karga is pouring himself a glass of spotchka, offering a glass to Din, just like he always does, which Din declines, just like always does. “Hm, so today isn’t the day I’m gonna see your face either.” The older man jokes, lifting his glass to take a sip of the strong beverage. Din only scoffs at the comment.
“I came to tell that I won’t be able to take any bounties for a while.”
“Well, I am happy to hear that, Mando. Finally ready to give up that tumultuous life of yours?” Karga says with a big smile on his face. Now this was not the reaction Din had expected, confused by the man’s words.
“I have shown my face. I have to go to Mandalore to seek redemption in the living waters.” Karga’s smile falls as Din tells him this.
“Oh, Mando. Now I had hoped that you had come to tell me that you were ready to come quieten down here in Nevarro City.”
“I have taken off my helmet, I need to go to Mandalore.” Din tries to explain, but Karga does not seem to see that as a problem, waving a hand in the air as if what Din is telling him isn’t an issue in the slightest, like Din hasn’t broken the most holy of creeds, cutting him off with an unconcern look on his face.
“Well, have you considered not going?” The other man simply states.
“I am an apostate now.” Din tries again but it still doesn’t seem like an issue to Karga.
“Isn’t that just all the more reason to stay here. You might be considered an apostate among your people now, but here you will be welcomed with open arms. You could hang up your blaster, settle down and give the kid some stability, maybe even add a new little one to the family, I’m sure that lady of yours would enjoy that.” The older man says with a wink followed by a deep belly laugh before continuing. “Now, I don’t know how ugly that mug of yours is under there.” He says gesturing at Din’s helmet. “But I know that ain’t gonna scare her away, even a qartuum could see that that girl is enamoured with you.”
Din feels his face heat up under the helmet at Karga’s words. “She isn’t my lady.” Din mutters, not able to suppress how deeply he wish that you actually were.
“Hmm.” Karga hums, not sounding convinced. “If you say so. But, Mando, my friend, I have known you for a long time, since you were a young man and I don’t think I have ever seen you as happy as you are now, with her and the kid. I know you keep insisting that there is nothing going on between you and her, and that might be the truth, but you can’t convince me that you don’t want there to be.”
Din wants to protest, to tell the man that his statement is wrong, but he knows that it would fall for deaf ears, and he would give himself up anyway, Din has also always been a terrible liar. Of course he want’s something between you. His employer has seen right through him, hit the head right on the nail. Din has over the last few months started to come to terms with the fact that he has fallen completely and utterly in love with you. It is scary, completely unknown territory and Din doesn’t now what to do with these feelings he has for you, sure that you don’t feel the same - but, as little as he likes to admit it, a little hope has bloomed in his chest by Karga’s words. ‘Even a qartuum could see that that girl is enamoured with you.’ could that really be true?
 Could you really feel the same for him as he feel for you? No, of course not, Karga is just teasing like he always does, right?
“I can’t hang up my blaster. It’s not that simple.” He sighs, shaking his helmeted head.
“But it’s not that complicated either.” Karga says, taking another sip of his spotchka before continuing. “You deserve some happiness, Mando and  I think she can give you that. This is just an old man’s advice and you can do with it as you will, but I hope you believe me when I say that all I want is to see you happy.” He finishes this drink, setting the now emty glass down on the table before pulling out something from the pocket of his extravagant outfit.
“Now go back to that girl and that Grogu of yours and treat them to a nice dinner, I know how much that kid loves to eat.” He chuckles. “I have a nice prime tract set up, right over by the hot springs. You can spend the night there, I’m sure she will appreciate having somewhere nicer to sleep than that old ship of yours.” Karga says with a smile as he slides enough credits for a nice dinner and then some over the table along with a keychip and a little piece of paper with an address scribbled down. “Think about what I’ve said okay? It’s a nice place and it can be yours if you want it.” He adds, gesturing to the key that Din is now clutching in his gloved hand.
Din simply nods at the man and mumbles a quick ‘thanks’ before leaving. Karga’s words ringing in his head as he makes it down the busy street to the bazaar to find you and Grogu.
—
The house Karga has lent you is beautiful, which makes perfect sense, the High Magistrate has always struck you as the type of person with an eye for finer things, the makeover the city has gotten is proof of this. You had taken a little tour of the house, not able to stop yourself from fantasising about what it would be like to live in a place like this. It’s nice to pretend even if it’s just for a single night or two, you hope you get a chance to try out the soothing hot spring in the backyard before you have to leave again. It will probably be soon, you know how badly Din itches to travel to Mandalore to redeem himself. The thought making a tight knot form in your stomach, you and Din havent really talked much about it or talked about what was going to happen with you. You don’t even know if you would be allowed to come with him as a non-Mandalorian. Maybe the time you have been dreading so badly finally has come, Din telling you that he no longer needs your services and that he will travel to Mandalore with Grogu and reclaim his creed without you. It makes your little tour of the house feel so much more bitter sweet, the fantasy of the three of you living in a place like this seem stupid and silly.
You can’t help yourself from dragging your feet towards the open door of the room in which Din is currently putting Grogu to bed, watching them from the doorway. You are in complete awe by the sight of Din sweetly tucking Grogu in for the night, placing the warm blanket over the little kid who is placed on the soft bed. The contrast of the two is always a sight. The big brute bounty hunter, clad from head to toe in shiny, intimidating beskar, and the tiny little kid with giant shiny eyes and wobbling ears.
Even though you have known for a while that you love and care deeply for both Din and little Grogu, now as you watch them, you know that the love you have for the both of them is deeper than anything you have ever felt before. You love the little green kid as if he was your own and you have fallen deeply in love with his armour wearing dad.
Your heart yearns so bad by the sight of them, the love Din has for his little foundling is so bewitching and you find yourself stepping into the room, softly tip-toeing over to the bed, feeling yourself being pulled in like a magnet. Din looks up at you when you reach the bed. His helmet conceals his emotions but he doesn’t seem to mind that you have come over to them. Grogu has already snoozed off, Din pats the empty space of the bed next to him, encouraging you to take a seat which you do. The two of you sit there in silence for a moment looking at Grogu as he sweetly sleeps. You wonder how many more of these small moments you have left with them. You suddenly feel like you might start crying. You sigh as you stand up, stepping over to plant a soft kiss on Grogu’s forehead before turning your gaze to Din, giving the man a weak smile as he rises from the bed too. The two of you quietly stepping out of the room and towards the living area.
You sit down at the soft sofa, Din sitting down in one of the comfortable arm chairs. A silence falling over you as you both seem to be occupied with your own thoughts.
After Din had found you and Grogu at the bazaar he had taken you out to one of the nicer places to eat in the city. Fancy, but not too fancy to bring a kid. Din had, of course, not been eating, but you had made sure to get some food back with you to the house that he ate while you were out in the backyard playing with Grogu, giving him privacy to take off his helmet. He might have taken off his helmet that time for Grogu, and now is an apostate for it, but he still follows the creed.
It had been a good evening, one you wished you would have many more of, but that just seems like wishful thinking, but Din had been very quiet. Not that he has ever been a huge chatterbox or anything, but he had been quiet even for his standards. You can’t help but wonder if something is wrong, now that you also sit in silence here.
“Din?”
“Hmm?”
“You are being awfully quiet tonight, anything on your mind?” You ask in a low voice, close to a whisper, feeling a little unsure if you should even ask him this.
“Oh, Karga just said some things to me. I don’t know, I guess it just made me get stuck in my own thoughts, I’m sorry about that.” He says with a slight shake of his helmet.
You open your mouth to answer but he continues before you get to say anything.
“Do… Do you like it here?” His voice is softer than normal and slightly shaky.
“Here on Nevarro?” You ask a little confused, mirroring his soft tone.
“Yeah, here on Nevarro… Wo-would this be the kind of place you could see yourself live in?”
“If I was living in a house like this? Absolutely!” You grin at him, but Din doesn’t seem to be in on the joke, his shoulders tense as he fidgets with the leather of his gloves.
“Well, Karga he… he offered it to me, the house here... Well, to us. To uhm, to stay.” He adds.
Us… Could he mean? Your stomach does a flip until you realise what he means by ‘us’. Him and Grogu, of course, the clan of two. You look over at him, offering him a weak smile as you imagine it for a second, Din and Grogu living in a place like this, the warm blanket of domesticity covering them.
“That sounds nice.” You say, giving him a little smile. It really would be nice for them to have a quiet life, but you know that it is never going to happen. That isn’t the life of a Mandalorian.
“Yo-you really think so?” He sounds startled and you can’t help but giggle softly at him.
“Well, yeah, of course. I can imagine you preparing lunches for Grogu in the morning, lots of meriloons for snacks, of course, and then taking him to school.” You say with a playful smile on your lips, remembering Karga’s comment about the new school they had built. “And, all the other kids thinking Grogu has the coolest dad ever with all that beskar.” You laugh softly at your little fantasy.
“So I would be a cool dad, huh?” He finally chuckles along with you.
“Oh, yeah. The coolest.” You nod. “How many other parents wield the dark sabre?” You snicker.
“No one, I guess.” He chuckles again and, kriff, how you love the sound of it.
“Oh, and you would bake for all of the bake sales, obviously!”
“Pff, of course, I would!” He plays along. “I would bake all the pika cakes needed. Hell, the little one gets them for free.” He says, nodding his head in the direction of the kitchen where the bag with the fruits Grogu was gifted at the market lies. “But you would have to help me taste test them, make sure that we come with the best cakes. Can’t lose my cool dad status because I’m being outshined by another parent with better baking skills.”
Wait is he saying that you would be there too, in this hypothetical scenario?!
“Would I?” Your tone has lost all the playfulness from before, now low and unsure but also hopeful.
He stiffens, shoulders getting tense again. “Wouldn’t you?” His voice is now soft and a little shaky through the modulator.
You can’t believe the direction the conversation has taken. “I guess I would if you want me to.” You confess.
“I do. I really want you to.” He whispers your name. The visor of his helmet trained on you and you know that he is looking directly into your eyes.  “I would want that. I never thought I could have that, but with you… With you and Grogu, that is all I want.”
“Din I…” You feel how warm tears are slowly falling down your cheeks now. “I want that too. I want you.” You get up from the sofa and he rises from his chair, the two of you slowly approaching each other until you stand with only a few inches between you.
“I don’t want to go to Mandalore, not anymore.” He whispers. “I don’t…” He takes a shaky breath, like he is getting ready to tell an earth-shattering secret. “I don’t mind being an apostate.”
“Din are you sure you don’t want to go..?” You can’t believe his words. You are happy, of course you are, but this is his creed, his life, his whole identity. You need him to be sure.
He doesn’t answer you, just standing still in front of you, like a statue. You start to think that he might have regretted telling you this, that he is realising that he does want to go to Mandalore and that he just got caught in the moment for a second, but then he moves. It is like everything is going in slow motion, it takes you a second to realise what he is doing as he brings his hands up to the side of his helmet, a loud hiss sounding through the room before he removes the beskar from his head.
A little gasp escapes your mouth as you take in the sight of his unhelmed face. You are met by a pair of the most beautiful eyes you have ever seen, tender and bright, like the twin suns on the planet you grew up on. His hair, that is slightly mussed from the helmet, is a deep brown which matches the colour of his eyes. Dark stubbles are adorning his jaw and a trimmed moustache is framing his upper lip and you notice how soft, how kissable they look. There is no doubt in your heart as you stare into the his eyes, this is the man you love, reaching your hand out to softly cup his cheek, making sure to not make contact with his skin until he lean against your hand himself, not wanting to overwhelm him if he isn’t ready for your touch yet, but he does lean in, letting out a little gasp as your palm gently cups his cheek.
“Hi.” You whisper, finally breaking the silence.
“Hi.” He echoes as your palm rests against his bare skin, fingers slowly brushing over the stubbles of his cheek. A faint, sheepish smile on his lips and a slightly unsure look in his eyes, clearly not used to being looked at and not knowing how to react to your gaze without his helmet. He has nothing to be shy about though. He is so gorgeous and you are gonna let him now.
“Din, you are beautiful.”
He doesn’t answer, still taken in the feeling of being touched without the armour. You let him take all the time that he needs and a little while goes by before he finally breaks the silence.
“I kind of want to kiss you, cyar’ika.” He confesses, voice barely more than a whisper.
“You can.” You tell him your voice is soft, a mellow smile on your lips as you stare into the deep umber of his eyes. He nods slightly, giving himself a moment to let the idea of finally being able to kiss you sink in, you don’t rush him, letting him do it in his own tempo.
“I-I’ve never kissed anyone before.” The words are coming out soft and shaky, almost apologetic, as he confesses this to you. It doesn’t surprise you, it must be incredibly nerve wracking for him, after so many years behind the helmet, standing bare and exposed in front of another human being. It makes sense that he never has kissed anyone before considering the creed he has lived by. You can’t help but feel a little giddy by the idea of being the one to give him his first kiss, a soft and loving gift he can carry with him forever.
“Din, that’s okay.” You reassure him before adding with a slightly cheeky grin. “It’s not like I mind teaching you.” This makes him smile too, letting out a low sound, the ghost of a laugh, you have heard that sound before but never without the modulator of his helmet and you feel your heart flutter warmly.
“I’m glad you don’t.” He whispers gratefully as he begins to lean in closer until your lips meet in a soft, sweet kiss. His hands moves up to cradle your face, gently cupping your cheeks with his broad hands. You hum content into the kiss, your lips moving slowly in sync, a part of you wants to deepen the kiss letting your tongue explore his mouth but you hold yourself back, this will hopefully be the first kiss of many and you want this one to be sweet and soft and not overwhelm him.
You finally have to pull away to catch your breath, finding those beautiful eyes of his that you have already fallen completely for.
“I love you.” You whisper into the quietness and he smiles at you, the prettiest smile in the galaxy, before leaning in to capture your lips in another kiss.
“I love you too.” He mutters against your lips. “I have for a while.”
You let out a choked gasp, not believing that this is really happening, that Din really loves you too.
“I think I’m ready for something new.” He tells you softly, placing a sweet kiss on the top of your head before resting his forehead against yours. “A new beginning right here with you.”
“That sounds good.” You smile. “But I think you might have to kiss me again, as your official taste tester I need another sample.”
He lets out a low laugh before kissing you again. A kiss that tastes like the beginning of something beautiful.

hi spud! i remembered u did requests & was wondering if maybe u could do like a first kiss scenario w din? 🥺 something soft & yearn-y? aha. no worries if u can't but thanks anyways. 🩷
Hello Senna! Thank you so much for your request! Thinking about a first kiss with Din really inspired me (how does he hide his face from you and still kiss you? What leads up to the moment?? so many questions!!) and this was the result. There is plenty of yearning and some softness sprinkled in but a little angst too (very happy ending though aghhhdkgj). Thanks again and really hope you like it!! 🤍

Upon that fateful day on which you had entered an agreement with a bounty hunter, you had been under no illusions that there would be much unpredictability given his line of work. That there would be periods of isolation when he left you behind in his ship while he went in search of his latest bounty. You could be alone on that ship for weeks; well, save for the big-eared, bug-eyed green baby, whose care you had been entrusted with, by the mysterious man who was your employer. When agreeing to travel with The Mandalorian, you had expected the randomness of the path that you cut through the galaxy, journeying from planet to planet depending on his latest jobs. The anguish that came with wondering where he was and whether the jobs were going well as you sat in the Razor Crest and cared for his child. Despite how much it had bothered you at first, you had gradually become used to such emotions. You expected them.
What you had never expected was the fondness you had developed for the man.
The first few times that Mando had headed off the ship for a job, you had been almost nonchalant about his absence, barely noticing the passage of time. You passed your days playing with The Child when you were not fast asleep in your bunk. But slowly and surely, he had begun to mean something more to you. You noticed it in his absence most of all. The ship felt empty without his deep voice and you missed his calm, reassuring presence.
It was strange really, considering that you had never laid eyes upon him. In fact, you had rarely seen him dressed in anything less than his full armour, complete with all the weapons he attached to himself almost ritualistically, without fail, every single day. Even if you were merely hurtling through hyperspace, he was still armed to the teeth. Mando had explained that weapons were part of his religion and his armour was like a second skin to him. You were curious, but not judgmental, about his way of life. It was vastly different to your own and entirely contradictory to anything you had ever heard about Mandalorians before. Even the scant information you had overheard about the formidable warriors in the miserable Cantina where you had once been employed had never included anything about Mandalorians being forbidden from removing their helmets in the presence of others.
Mando had made it abundantly clear, before you ever stepped foot aboard the Razor Crest, that wearing his helmet was a definitive boundary, never to be questioned or pushed. It was his ultimate line in the sand that you were never to cross. You were respectful of his Creed, asking questions with a curious rather than invasive intention which he seemed to appreciate. In fact, rather than driving a wedge between you, his Way had provoked many thoughtful conversations between the two of you.
There were nights you would sit in the cockpit as the brilliant blue trails of hyperspace surrounded you, bonding over your similar pasts. Sometimes, you would wake up in the bunk underneath the tiny hammock that belonged to The Child with no memory of clambering in the previous night. He never admitted it, but you were almost certain that Mando had carried you there himself, putting his impressive physique to use for something other than hauling bounties back to the Razor Crest.
Amongst it all, you had learned his habits and quirks. You learned the way he liked his caf in the morning. How meticulous he was with polishing his armour until it gleamed so brightly, even in the dark of hyperspace, that you could see every detail of your reflection, right down to your pores. You discovered that he cleaned his weapons, taking them apart and checking every inch of them when he was particularly stressed or his bounties were not as straightforward as he had hoped.
Most of all, you discovered how incredibly kind and caring the man beneath the hard, intimidating armour truly was.
Although he had weapons strapped to every inch of his body, Mando could be impossibly gentle. You had witnessed evidence of his ruthless efficiency when he returned to the ship laden with several bounties. Sometimes alive, sometimes dead, though he usually prevented you from seeing the more grisly sights. Yet the man you saw most often of all, moving around the Razor Crest with you as you hurtled around the galaxy, amongst the stars was different to reconcile with the violent nature of his profession.
It was difficult to believe that the hands that had earned him the reputation as the most formidable bounty hunter in the parsec due to their proficiency in neutralising even elusive targets were the very same hands that were impossibly gentle when placing The Child in his hammock. The same hands that had extinguished countless lives had been used to rock the little one after he awoke from the nightmares that frequently plagued him. Nightmares that plagued Mando, too. But you had never been bold enough to bring up the tossing and turning you had heard from his bunk pretty much every night since you had started travelling with him. Despite the relatively personal conversations and information you had gleaned from him, it still felt a step too far. You didn’t want to cause him to shut down by prying, especially not after he had seemed to become genuinely comfortable in your presence and show you the gentler side of his nature.
You felt so privileged to see such a side to him. It was a side that you had never expected to witness. After all, you had been utterly terrified the first time you encountered him, when he strutted into the run-down Cantina you worked in. He was impossible not to stare at, clad in that unpainted armour that glinted when the light hit it in just the right spot. You had never seen a Mandalorian in the flesh before, but you had heard plenty of legends about them. Mandalorians were famed across the galaxy for their ruthless, lethal accuracy and formidable fighting skills.
That feeling of gratitude had soon developed into something else, though. A feeling that you would class as affection, albeit affection that was veering dangerously close into the territory of a four-letter word that your mind could not even contemplate. A feeling that would be all too dangerous to harbour for a man who you still felt you knew so little about.
You were certain that your feelings for Mando were doing untold damage to your health. Living in such proximity to a man you harboured a devastatingly intense crush towards would one day succeed in suffocating you. Your chest ached whenever he was near, knowing that there was no possibility he could ever reciprocate your feelings. You knew that your love would remain unrequited. Above all, you knew that he must never, ever discover the depths of your affection towards him.
There were more than a few times you had dissolved into tears during a few moments of solitude in the ‘fresher; your salty tears mixing with the hot jets of water from the Razor Crest’s shower. One particular occasion, when your feelings had left you particularly devastated, was the evening when Mando had returned from his latest job, during which he had to terminate the asset after one escape attempt too many. The asset’s termination would result in a lower fee and you knew that was partially the reason for Mando’s frustration. Yet, despite his reputation, you also knew that he did not relish killing bounties, much preferring to lure them back to the ship and freeze them in carbonite. In everything you knew about him, it appeared that Mando did not get a particular thrill from killing people that he, personally, had no qualms with. Although you knew that if anyone ever threatened even one white hair on the wrinkled little head of The Child, Mando would not hesitate to cut them down where they stood.
That evening, The Mandalorian’s exasperation had been evident from the second he had returned to the Razor Crest, ordering you and The Child to hide in the cockpit while he stored the remains so you would not have to witness such a gruesome sight. You knew immediately that the job had not been easy and your heart ached for him. When Mando had given you the all-clear, you had descended the ladder down to the main hull of the ship with shaky hands and legs. Your trembling limbs did not come from the fact you were descending the rungs one-handed and carefully cradling The Child in your other arm, you were well used to that. No, you were dreading seeing Mando so frustrated… because of the way it made you feel. Seeing him so wound up, knowing that you were the one to put his pieces back together in your own subtle way thrilled you. It was a dangerous prospect.
“I take it the job wasn’t successful?” You questioned, tone neutral. You attempted to appear as nonchalant as possible as you handed The Child to him. You hoped that taking the little one in his arms would go some way to calming him down.
“No,” Mando responded, definitively. His tone of voice made it abundantly clear that he did not want to discuss the matter further with you.
“Perhaps I could put The Child to bed, while you take a shower?” You offered, wanting to do anything to soothe his frayed nerves.
Mando shook his head.
“I’ll do it, thanks,” he added gruffly.
You nodded before turning your back and climbing the ladder back up to the cockpit to give them their space. There was hardly any privacy in a ship so compact. Sometimes it could feel slightly claustrophobic aboard the Razor Crest, but you and Mando had worked a pretty good system out by now so you did not feel as though you were constantly on top of each other. You learned that he was a surprisingly patient man and did not express his anger in the way one might have expected from one capable of so much violence.
It was no surprise when you descended the rungs a while later to find him standing in front of the weapons cabinet, broad shoulders tensed as he examined his impressively-stocked armoury. You didn’t say a word, wondering whether he was about to tell you to return to the cockpit and leave him alone. Though you hoped that he would interpret your presence as a comforting one, not an invasive one.
“Could you pass me the cleaning cloth, please?” Mando asked.
“Of course,” you replied, opening the crate where he kept his cleaning equipment. You selected the cloth that you knew he favoured and handed it to him, the corners of your lips curving upwards in a slight, shy smile.
“Thank you,” Mando said appreciatively as his gloved hand rested on your upper arm and squeezed it gently. You sensed that he was thanking you for much more than passing him the cloth. Something about his touch and the way he said it had sickened you to your core.
“I‘m gonna take a shower,” was all you managed to say, before you turned away from him.
You had practically sprinted to the ‘fresher then, needing privacy more than anything as you crumbled. As tears streamed down your cheeks, you tortured yourself over and over asking the same question:
How could a man capable of such violence be so gentle with you?
Your soul was truly tortured by the feelings that you held for this man.
It was that moment you thought of now. A moment amongst many others, as you sat and waited for Mando to return from his latest assignment. You were accustomed to days turning to weeks and weeks even turning to months on the rare occasion. It was a solitary experience, just you and The Child in the Razor Crest. You would not see another life form for weeks. Nor would you speak to anyone other than The Child. You weren't always certain whether he understood you. Mando always left a comlink with you, but it was reachable only by him. It was strictly for emergencies. In all the months that you had travelled with him, it had never once sounded when he was off on a mission. It had led you to wonder whether it even worked at all.
Occasionally, Mando would permit you to leave the ship but on particularly hostile planets, you were confined to the silver hull of his home, with just your ration packs and the mysterious green child for company.
This particular planet was one of such peril. Thus, Mando had forbidden you from leaving the ship. Although you always respected his demands, for The Child’s as much as your own sake, you adored the little guy, the loneliness was beginning to eat into your gut and make you feel grouchy after such a long period of isolation. Mando had told you that he expected the job to last no more than three days, but it was ten since he had crept out in the dead of night, armed to the teeth in pursuit of a crime lord who had made one enemy too many.
As you lay back on the bunk, thinking of the man who had unexpectedly left such a deep impression on your heart, The Child began mewling. You instantly sat up, sighing softly as you reached into his hammock and stroked the end of one of his large green ears between your thumb and forefinger.
“What’s up, buddy?” You questioned, rocking him gently and hoping that you had prevented him from dissolving into gut-wrenching sobs.
The Child just gazed at you with his big brown eyes, expression unreadable.
“Do you want something to eat?” You asked, often knowing that the way to soothe his heart was through his stomach.
The Child finally gave some indication of what was wrong with a small nod and you opened the door to the bunk and made your way towards the fortunately still well-stocked cupboards. Fortunately, Mando was fastidious in always ensuring there was enough food for the two of you. You appreciated that all the more as you gave The Child a bar which he wolfed down in only a couple of bites, despite his tiny frame. He had been fed barely an hour ago, but the little guy had a voracious appetite.
With a newly full stomach, you hoped that the little womp rat would finally get some sleep when you returned him to his hammock. Yet, as you lay back on your own bunk, you found that you could not settle.
Time became an illusion after so many days cooped up in the Razor Crest and despite the late hour, according to your chrono, you found that you were wide awake. There was nothing to do except pace around the Crest.
You must have paced around the Crest enough times to cover the circumference of the planet when you were finally on when a sound caused you to stop in your tracks. It sounded like a faint crackle from where your comlink rested on some crates, forgotten and discarded. Until now. You barely had time to react before it chirped into life, with the sound of a familiar deep voice crackling slightly suddenly blaring from it.
Mando was calling your name.
You darted across the hull and scooped up the comlink from its position on top of the very crate from which you had fished out cleaning supplies. You were startled by the fact that Mando was actually using it.
“It’s Mando,” he panted, tone desperate. “Listen, things aren’t looking good. If I’m not back by sunrise, take The Child and run. Promise me, you’ll get out of there. Promise m–”
Before Mando could finish and much less, could you even respond, the line went dead.
You stood there, startled by the turn of events. Your mind racing with thoughts. Where would you go? Which supplies should you pack? How far away was sunrise from now? Could you even use a blaster to shoot an enemy down, if needed? What were you going to do without Mando? How would you take care of The Child alone?
You wanted to sink to your knees, shout and scream. That was not an option. You knew that you had to keep going. Mando had wanted you to vow to him, which you would have done in a heartbeat had the line not first been cruelly cut. Even if he could not hear you, you still wanted to pledge your word to him.
“I promise I’ll protect The Child, Mando,” you whispered, clutching the comlink to your chest as tears streamed down your cheeks silently and the realisation that you could find yourself alone in the galaxy once more dawned upon you.
You spent the next couple of hours packing and then repacking as many bags as you could manage to carry and pathetically practising gripping a blaster. Mando had demonstrated once or twice, in case you ever found yourself in a bind. You were certainly in one now, but the adrenaline coursing through your body made it near impossible to remember such careful, deliberate instructions. You contemplated the fact that he had chosen you for a reason, to care for The Child. Whatever such a reason was, it seemed futile now. You were in no fit state to care for anyone.
The guilt threatened to overwhelm you as you spent a few precious minutes watching The Child sleep, blissfully unaware of the anguished state his caregiver was currently in. Your heart ached for him. The bond he shared with Mando was something beyond words and you knew he would be devastated. How could you manage to take care of a distraught child and keep him safe from the same evil forces that had taken his father?
You checked your chrono, heart sinking as you realised how close sunrise now was. Your heart thundered in your ears as you ascended the ladder for what was almost certainly the last time, your head peeking over the floor of the cockpit as you saw the pitch blackness of night gradually giving way to the lighter shade of blue that indicated that sunrise was imminent. As soon as the sky was flecked with oranges and pinks, you knew you had to obey Mando’s command and leave.
You imagined him, frightened and injured, stumbling his way through the thick trees you could just about see from the cockpit, desperately fighting to return to you. You willed him on, hoping against all odds that he would make it back to you, safe and sound. You would berate him for putting himself into such a dangerous position. Then, you would piece him back together and prepare him to do it all over again. You were hopelessly devoted to him. Now, such devotion had placed you in this position. Alone, once again.
Alas, despite a valiant effort, Mando's return was not to be. He had tried his best, but it was not good enough. When the sky blazed brilliant bronze, you knew it was time to go.
You descended the rungs for the last time, bidding a silent farewell to the ship where you had found so much happiness with such an unlikely companion and his even unlikelier son. You felt a lump in your throat, your eyes filling with tears as the finality of the moment dawned on you. Then, you exhaled and pushed your shoulders back, imagining yourself wearing armour like Mando. You had to do it, for him. You had to grant his dying wish. You had to be brave for The Child.
You were only two paces from the bunk when you heard it. The unmistakable whirring of the Razor Crest’s door opening. It was a sound that usually signified Mando's return. This time, though, it signified your imminent demise.
You were frozen to the spot, then. You were certain that the forces that had gotten to Mando were now here to finish you and The Child off, too. You contemplated reaching for the blaster that was in the bags just a few steps away, but you knew it was futile, given your inexperience. The forces that had murdered your Mandalorian would make short work of someone as inept as you. The best you could do was give yourself up, so that The Child may live. Hopefully, he would be undetected in his bunk, sleeping soundly despite the bloodshed just a few paces away.
You shut your eyes and thought of Mando, wondering if you were about to join him. You braced yourself for a blaster shot that never came. For it was not the alien sounds of a mysterious, threatening entity that your ears detected emanating approaching your position. No, it was not that at all.
Instead, you stood there, aghast as the familiar heavy, even thuds and slight clinking of armour echoed with every step up the ramp of the Razor Crest. The reassuring sound finally reached through your frayed nerves and your eyes flew open as you spun around in disbelief. This was not the end. There was no threat. Instead, there was an instantly familiar sound, one that you had feared you would never hear again. The noise signalled to you that somehow, against all odds, he had returned to you.
“Mando?” You questioned, momentarily terrified that an enemy holding a blaster would appear into view behind him.
“Sorry about that,” Mando huffed and you realised that particular fear was unfounded. “Job got a bit messier than I anticipated.”
The only indication of the gravity of his situation that had necessitated his desperate message was the evidence of numerous blaster shots that his armour had clearly taken, given the black marks on its otherwise pristine surface. The corners of your lips curled up in a knowing smirk. You knew he would spend most of your journey to the next planet cleaning every single plate with painstaking attention to detail.
“But th-the you used the comlink?” You stuttered, aghast at his sudden appearance in the Razor Crest.
“I did,” he confirmed. “And were you about to leave?” Mando asked as he entered the ship and approached you. You were unable to reply with words, suddenly feeling incredibly choked up. You nodded and gestured towards the bags you had hurriedly packed.
“Good,” Mando nodded approvingly.
“I thought you were…” you shook your head, unable to finish that sentence and vocalise the dark places your mind had travelled.
“Dead.” Mando finished for you.
You nodded again. You would almost be amused by his familiar bluntness were you not still so shocked by his presence.
“I had sharper reflexes,” he shrugged cockily, a simple explanation for events that you were sure were far more complex than he was letting on.
“I thought I was alone. I thought I… I thought I’d have to leave here and never see you again,” you stammered, voice cracking at the thought. “Did you at least complete the job?”
“Yes,” Mando nodded. “Proof of termination was sufficient and I acquired it,” he explained, deep voice slightly hoarse thanks to the force that he had undoubtedly exerted in completing such a perilous job.
“I don’t know if I want to kill you, or kiss you right now,” you sighed, shaking your head in disbelief at his accomplishment. Then, the realisation that you had finally given voice to your most intimate thoughts dawned on you. You clapped your hand over your mouth, eyes widening in horror. You were utterly mortified.
Mando was unmoving, which only added to your panic. You noticed the way his hands clenched into fists briefly and he sighed deeply. Then he tilted his head slightly and unclenched his fists.
“Close your eyes,” Mando commanded.
Although his voice was quiet, something about the way he said it struck fear into your heart. There was a darkness to his voice, to his tone that terrified you. You were certain that he was going to punish you for such a remark. You had always been slightly afraid of him despite the gentleness he had shown you. Now, it appeared that those lingering fears were well-founded. He was probably disgusted by you. He had taken you in when you were at your lowest, given you a job, a bunk and a purpose.
Yet, he had unknowingly given you so much more than that. It didn’t matter anymore, though. Especially not now that you had let your feelings get the better of you. You were convinced that he was going to kick you out, convinced that there was absolutely no possibility that he reciprocated your feelings for him. Mando hated you. You were certain of that.
“Mando, I’m sorry. I didn’t mea–” you stammered, eyes still widened in horror.
The presence of soft leather against your skin abruptly cut your frantic apologies off, mid-utterance. His glove was warm across your forehead, nose and cheeks as his hand dwarfed your features. The loss of vision that came with his gloved hand covering your eyes stopped all coherent thoughts in your brain. The hiss of his helmet depressurising, a sound you had previously heard only through the door of the ‘fresher, made your heart quicken until it was beating with alarming speed. Then, the feeling of his soft lips moving gently against yours caused it to stop completely.
You were struck by two things. Firstly, the fact that the man you had been certain was dead, was not only very much alive but was presently moving his lips against yours. Secondly, underneath his helmet, Mando apparently kept a moustache. You could feel the bristles of his facial hair tickling slightly as his lips claimed yours in a tender kiss.
You were certain that your heart was going to give out if your knees did not first, momentarily fearful that you would send the pair of you crashing in a tangle of limbs to the hard, metallic surface of the Razor Crest’s floor with a thud. Fortunately, you happened to be kissing the most formidable bounty hunter in the parsec, who soon wrapped his spare arm around your waist and demonstrated, in the way that he held you, all the strength and certainty that had gained him such a reputation. You smirked against his lips as the hand that was not currently covering your eyes trailed up your back, travelling across your body over the coat that you had pulled on in preparation for your imminent departure from the Razor Crest.
The movement of your lips together was electrifying. It confirmed that the connection you were certain had been building between the two of you was real. It felt so natural, as though you had always been destined to be pulled into each other’s orbits in this way. You felt chills traverse your skin as your brain perceived the scent of his glove, given its proximity to your nose. At once, you could smell the story of his perilous brush with death. There was the distinctive smoky scent of explosions, the sharp metallic smell from his ever-steady grip on his blaster, the earthy undertones – no doubt thanks to days of traipsing through undergrowth, – the musky smell that was unmistakably masculine, unmistakably him and finally, the faint hints of leather. As you registered each scent, you were reminded, once again, of the lethality this man was capable of. A man who was currently kissing you with such fondness and affection.
When your lungs started to burn – from the exhilaration or oxygen deprivation, you weren’t sure – Mando finally pulled away, leaving you breathless and dizzy from the events which had just transpired between the two of you. You smiled and bit your lip in glee, as the realisation of the monumental shift in your relationship that had just occurred hit you. You hoped it had not been a one-off, a fleeting moment of carelessness on his part that he would come to regret.
“You couldn’t kill me anyway,” Mando whispered, his breath hot against the shell of your ear. You were stunned. Clearly, that was not the case. This had been a deliberate, measured action on his part.
Then, the tell-tale hissing sound indicated that Mando had replaced his helmet. You couldn’t help the fact that your heart dropped a little at the sound. After all, despite how much you respected his devotion to The Way, there was always a simmering curiosity about his appearance. Especially having just kissed him. You could still feel the slight scratchiness that lingered on your skin from the bristles of his facial hair, a ghost of the kiss you had just shared; a reminder that it had happened.
Mando removed his hand from your eyes and you mourned the loss of contact, having relished the way that his hand had engulfed your face with its enormous size as it drowned your features. He always seemed to be everywhere, a looming presence over you.
“Mando, I –” you began, but he raised the same gloved hand that had just rested against your forehead, cutting you off once again.
“My name is Din,” he said quietly before he lowered his hand again.
“Oh,” you breathed, stunned that he had entrusted you with such a precious piece of information.
Although, given the fact that he had just kissed you, perhaps it was a logical step. Nevertheless, you appreciated the fact that you finally had a name to put to the deep voice you adored. Din, not Mando, was the man who had just stolen all rational thought from your mind with the gentle touch of his lips.
You smiled then, the first genuine smile that had graced your features since Din had left the Razor Crest ten days previously. Only a few minutes ago, you had feared that he would never return. Now, just when you had been certain your life with him was over, it appeared that it was just beginning.
As the sun rose over the Razor Crest, still surrounded by the trees of the forest planet you had been certain would be the location of an ending, it was clear that a new dawn was here for you and Din. A beginning was upon you, the start of something beautiful.
It was the first kiss you had shared with Din. But you were certain that it would not be your last.

“Stay still.”
You couldn’t help it, it wasn’t exactly comfortable sitting in the lap of someone with full armor on. His deep, slightly crackled voice in your ear was another reason you couldn’t sit still. The cool beskar was pressing on your skin as you heard him let out a deep sigh, causing you to shiver slightly. “You said you wanted to try this with someone... Why not me?” He asked softly. You could feel his eyes burning through your skin, staring into your soul. You hesitated to answer as your eyes wandered over to the blaster on the floor and the Amban sniper rifle still attached to his back. This man was indeed dangerous, your brain scrambled with thoughts of how many ways this man could kill you. But instead, he chose to grab you by the hips and put you in his lap. Another sigh, this one a sigh of comfort, comes from his voice filter, his gloved hands rubbing your hips with a gentleness you never knew Mandalorians had.
“You won’t be trying this with anyone else.” He ordered, his voice still soft as not to wake the Child.

ABUELA DJARIN???
I'm sorry, WHERE is the fic of Din Djarin hiring a granny (60+) as a babysitter and her becoming like an abuela to him? WHERE? THERES GOTTA BE ONE OR THERE SHOULD BE.
Making kick-ass food, teaching songs and life lessons, making knitted things for grogu and Din (a knitted headscarf for under the helmet, knitted gun holsters and sitchings in the ripped cape, embroidered flowers?!)
And, oh yeah, maybe being a sharpshooter or some secret badass shit like that but using her granny appearance to her advantage? What if she's secretly a really old widowed mandalorian?! Maybe she's an apostate so she shows her face, maybe she did it for something important?!
"You think he's scary, you should see the woman."
"What, his wife?"
"No...his ma"
Forget SMUT, WHERE IS ABUELA DJARIN?!
HOLT SHIT SOMEBODY WRITE THIS I BEG OF YOU.

Batting your eyelashes wouldn’t melt his heart or expose his soft side for you, not this time. Especially as he practically dragged you back to the Crest from the village you’d settled in for the day, his tight grip rubbing your arm raw. You stumbled over your own feet through the brush of the forest, trying to keep up with him. You’d teased him one too many times today, and he’d had enough. Biting your lip in anticipation, you could only fantasize of how bad he wanted to use you.
Din didn’t even make it inside the ship before he turned to you, and pushed you down to your knees, right into the damp grass.
“Someone’s eager today, hm?” You smirked, finding so much arousal and amusement in his body language.
“Enough” He scolded, his frantic hands working to unfasten the clasp of his pants. You tried to help, but his stiffened cock was already freed by the time you’d raised your hands.
“I dont know, Mando, you seemed pretty frustrated with me earlier. You sure you want me to suck your cock?” You raised your brows, hesitating to touch him, starving him even further.
“Don’t argue, just do it” He growled coldly, commanding you to take him into your mouth, “and I don’t want to hear another word from you. Make good use of that mouth of yours”
Happily, you obeyed, but still teased him with the pace, moving slowly to wrap your lips around the tip of his throbbing length. He clenched his fist, which you only noticed from your peripheral vision. The frustration was evident, but you only found it to be more fun.
“Kriff, Y/N, stop teasing” He groaned.
Deciding to release him from such frustration, you suddenly pushed him to the back of your throat, feeling his cock fill every inch of your mouth. Din threw his head back, a gruff, low, animalistic moan escaped him, which gave you butterflies. You moaned around him in response, feeling an ache form suddenly between your legs.
To tend to your ache, your hand found it way to your arousal, and began rubbing yourself to find relief.
“Look at you, can’t even help touching yourself can you?” He condescendingly scoffed, a smirk coming through in his tone, “does my cock in your mouth really turn you on that much, sweetheart?”
Looking up the length of his body as you kneeled in front of him, your eyes pierced his visor, wanting to stare deep into his soul as you moved your mouth up and down his entire length. His size was impressive, and tears began slowly forming in your eyes with every time you had him fully fitted against your tongue, the tip pressing your throat.
“Fuck, just like that” He praised, finally letting you know that you were doing good.
His hand weaved into your hair, subtly pushing on the back of your head, giving you no choice to stop as you brought him close to his orgasm. You savored the feeling of being used by him, and feeling as though you existed just to please him turned you on.
As you increased your pace, his grip on your head tightened, and he groaned deeply and breathlessly, letting you know he was getting close.
“I’m going to fill that pretty little mouth of yours, cyar’ika” Din whimpered, his hold on you began to falter.
The motions you created against your own pleasure picked up now, tipping yourself closer and closer to the edge. Delicate noises came from deep within you as your orgasm burst open, sending vibrations over his cock as he reached his climax. Your pleasure made you slow down only slightly, and in response, Din pressed your head back down, overwhelming your senses while you rode out your high.
You felt his release coat your tongue as he spat profanities through his modulator, working through the peak of his pleasure and the relief of his pent up frustration. You choked on him, another tear now falling from your eye as you obediently swallowed all of his cum.
“You tease me like that again, and I’ll show you a real punishment” Din promised, taking hold of your chin and pushing your face up to meet his gaze. You shivered in excitement.

And the new season was wonderful, I loved the ending so much, so thank you for requesting this fluffy, angsty thing! (P.S. I am very aware of the fact that we just learned the mandalorian’s first name is not actually his first name however, I am a woman who is set in her ways and this was written before finding that fact out. He’s "Din" throughout this, I’m sorry.)

"You’re sure you’re going to be okay?" He asked you for what felt like the millionth time. You had to force yourself to stop rolling your eyes as you finished packing your supplies.
When you came back to the make-shift base you two had set up and told Din you picked up an easy job while in town, you had expected him to maybe ask a couple of questions, just so he knew where you’d be. What you hadn’t expected was for him to practically pester you. Not to mention, he’d already offered to come with about a dozen times now.
"Honey, I was working alone way before I ever met you," you replied, "I think I’m going to be able to handle myself."
He sighed. "I know, but this planet… Can you at least tell me what the job is?"
You shook your head. "I was paid extra for my discretion and the last thing we need is to lose a couple of credits, right? Besides, there’s worse in the galaxy, I’m sure of it. It’ll be fine, I’ll be back before you know it."
Din peaked up at the dimming sky. It would be getting dark soon.
"This still doesn’t feel right to me. Can you be back before nightfall?" He asked.
You shrugged. "Maybe." You felt his hard stare from behind his helmet. You sighed. "I’ll try."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
****
When you two make promises, you kept them. There were no if ands or buts about it. You both had demanding, dangerous lives, and promises were a foundation you thrived on. It kept you whole, loyal.
So, when night fell on the planet and the only thing he could make out was the fluttering nocturnal bugs, Din grew worried beyond belief. The night was ticking on and he was still alone. You had promised. He shouldn’t have this worry in him right now. He should be holding you tight, hearing you give a recap of the job while you two lay snuggled up, slowly drifting off to sleep.
He should be listening to your dream about what you’d want to use the credits for. Realistically, you always put it toward food and medical aid, but he knew you liked to save just some to the side for when you two found little markets throughout your journeys. You liked buying textiles for crafts in your downtime, jewelry from the local women…
Din was losing his mind. His head spun with thoughts and worries about you. Unable to do much else, he grabbed some supplies and made his way back into town, hoping on the off chance he’d be able to find whoever offered you the job. He decided he’d do whatever was necessary to get them to tell him where you were. He didn’t care what it would take or who he’d have to hurt.
This was you. His other half. His adorable, fearless, bright, charming, funny, caring significant other. And now you were gone…
Well, everyone was gone. In the pitch black of the night, just the faint hint of stars now guiding his path, Din found the town to be completely closed up for the night. It was a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the afternoon. It was like everyone just up and left but he knew better than that.
Most of the dusty buildings were used as shops, he remembered, but the flickering glow from some windows on the taller buildings points him toward some of the residents.
Din didn’t hesitate to knock on some doors. It would’ve been more powerful had it ended up working. He pounded on them. Kicked. Yelled. But all of his fits fell on deaf ears. He had half the mind to start breaking in through windows and backdoors but he had to reel himself back. It would do neither of you any good if he was restrained.
When it was growing more and more evident no one in the town would cater to him, Din forced himself to give up. He had to put some faith in you, he knew that. You were incredibly skilled—almost as much as him—and if you weren’t worried about something, he should be trusting of that.
And yet, he couldn’t help himself. Worry and defeat overcame him as he made his way back to where you two were staying. Din decided he’d make himself comfortable and then just wait for you to come back. Surely, that wouldn’t be so bad. He could keep himself awake. You’d probably be back any minute, he tried telling himself. It’d be fine. It’d be easy, right?
Nope. Wrong. So very wrong. Din only realized how foolish he had been when he felt a hint of warmth on his body and light trying to break through the visor of his helmet. Slowly, he blinked his eyes open, forcing himself awake.
It was morning. The next day. It was the morning of the next day…and he was alone. The realization hit Din like a ton of bricks. He shot up from his slouched position, and a new kind of worry came over him. Not only had he fallen asleep, but he had also done so without you, and it still didn’t appear like you were here. Worry shifted into guilty. He thought was going to be sick—
"Over here, darling." Your voice rang out in a scratchy tone from behind Din. He whipped his head around and your slumped, exhausted form came into focus. You were sitting in just your undergarments next to the nearby, splashing water over what appeared to be fresh wounds. A stack of wraps and aid supplies sat next to you. Most of your clothes were tossed to the side and turning brown from dried blood. Din felt every part of him seize up.
"Cyra’ika, what…" Din’s throat felt like it was on fire as he slowly stepped toward you. He knew he should’ve rushed to your side, gave you all the attention and care you absolutely needed, but he had never seen you in this state before. "What happened?"
You shrugged. "Mission was a little bit rougher than anticipate but don’t worry, I finished it and we were paid."
You had the nerve to flash a smirk at him. Din thought he was about to lose it all over again, maybe even worse, as he had the previous night.
"I’m not worried about the funds," he snapped. His sudden and typically unusual harsh tone made you flinch but he didn’t seem to care. "You’re… You’re bleeding. You’re pale. Oh my… You need— We need—,"
"To calm down," you snapped back. "We need to calm down. Honey, I’m okay, really. It was just a bit more difficult than the employer had made it out to be. That was probably my fault, I guess I didn’t ask the right questions, but it’s alright. Brought them in warm and everything. It just took slightly longer than anticipated."
Din groaned. "You said you’d be back by nightfall."
"Well, that didn’t happen."
"I’m very aware that that didn’t happen."
You rolled your eyes and turned your attention back onto your injuries. You patted one of the wounds dry and began trying to wrap it gently but firmly. Every movement made you flinch. "
"I don’t understand what the big fuss is about," you muttered. "I still returned and the mission was complete. What’s the big deal?"
"The big deal is I thought you were dead," Din replied harshly.
"Well, I’m not!" You yelled back, your own fuse nearly at its end. But losing your temper wasn’t the smartest idea you realized as a sharp pain tore through your side. You let out a frightened yelp. You had expected bruises but the one that covered more torso was a ridiculous one.
"Cyra’ika…" Din sighed as he rushed to kneel at your side. He inspected the bruised skin you were gripping. "You need to rest. Let me bandage the rest."
"No, I’m fine," you gritted. Your anger still simmered within you despite Din’s gentle words.
"No, you’re not," he replied. "And… And I’m sorry for being upset with you instead of helping." He pulled at the wrap you were holding in your hands. You forced yourself to give in. You leaned into his touch as he finished drying your wounds and began bandaging them.
"I tried coming back by nightfall," you murmured. "I really did but it was harder than I intended."
"I don’t doubt that for a second," Din said. "You promised and we try to keep our promises but I was… I was so scared." His helmet-distorted voice cracked slightly and that was more painful than any wound some bounty could ever inflict upon you.
"I was scared, too," you admitted, "but I didn’t want to make a big deal of it because I’m finally back here, safe, with you. That’s all that matters." Slowly, you raised a bruised hand to his helmet. You wanted nothing more than to cup his face and promise him you were okay but you knew this was as close as you were going to get.
"You’re right," he agreed, "and that’s what I’m trying to remind myself as I wrap your injuries."
You shook your head. "They’re not that bad, really. I’m sure you’ve had worse."
"This isn’t about me."
"Okay," you sighed. "But the next time you come back all bruised and beaten, I get to reprimand you."
Din hummed. "Maybe we should just start taking jobs together."
"Yeah?" You chuckled. "Wanna be my partner in crime?"
"I think I just want to be wherever you are."
"Good because I want you there with me," you said with a wide smile creeping up on your face. You knew if you saw Din’s face he would be blushing. "Hey, do you think one day we’ll be able to leave all this behind and just live a…normal life together?"
Din’s focus stayed on the bandages. "Is that what you would want?"
"Of course," you replied with no hesitation.
"Then, yes." Din nodded. "I’ll make sure of it."
A good kind of warmth spread throughout your face and down your body. "I love you."
"I love you, too," Din responded. "Always."

HELLO! If you’re open for request I’d like to ask for something with Mando helping/comforting the reader on their period (if thats ok with you). Like I imagine him being kinda clueless and lowkey panicked but he’s trying his best to take care of us and Grogu
this is so cute🥹I imagine a clueless Din because let's face it, they don't hold biology lessons when they train you to be a Mandalorian, but he's trying his best!
a little tender—Din Djarin x f!reader

You had a feeling this would happen, and yet here you are, still flabbergasted that you were right.
The conditions are far from ideal to be having this sort of situation; you’ve always managed, but being aboard a Mandalorian’ ship with a magical green baby who needs attention and maintenance as well is surely a challenge. Grogu curled in your lap a while ago and remained there, cooing sweetly once in a while, which, in a bizarre way, helped with your cramps.
When Din arrived back on the ship and saw you and Grogu curled together like that, he cocked his head to the side, thus revealing his confusion.
“He’s been sitting here with me for the past hour,” you giggle. “He’s really cute.”
“Are you okay?”
It still takes you by surprise whenever Din proves himself to be this receptive. You have to remind yourself over and over that, as a Mandalorian, his observation skills should be more than keen. And perhaps caring for you isn’t above that.
“I’m fine. Just some cramps.”
“Cramps? What’s wrong?”
Din kneels down, inspecting you like you’re in need of repair. Truthfully, the whole idea and situation makes you laugh a little bit because he’s adorably clueless. But then it hits you that he probably didn’t get the 101 on women while training to be a Mandalorian, so periods are most likely not something he’s familiar with.
“I got my period,” you explain to him. “Basically… I’m bleeding out of parts you wouldn’t want to bleed from.”
He looks at you and you just know he has a terrified face under the helmet.
“It happens every month,” you continue to explain.
“Every month? How do you—function this way?”
You chuckle, taking his gloved hands into yours. “Lots of practice.”
“Are you in pain now?”
“Moderate. Grogu being here helps. And you.”
Din huffs. “I’m not really sure what to do, how I can help you…”
Seeing him make such a fuss over you is probably more endearing than it should be, but you can’t help it. You know Din to be a practical man, someone of labor who fixes visible, hard issues. Fixing something he can’t see or feel… an entirely different story.
But he’s there, and he’s trying. And that’s what matters.
“Usually keeping warm on the belly helps,” you explain, gently stroking Grogu’s ear. “But this little guy helped with that.”
There’s something so domestic about that image that manages to take Din aback. He never truly thought he’d settle down, at least not while he still has some good fighting years. Then Grogu came along, entered his life abruptly, and yet the prospect of settling down still hadn’t occurred to him, not fully.
Now, however…
“Anything else I can help you with?” Din asks with a lump in his throat. “Are you in any pain? I can go out, see if I can find something that—“
“Din, I’m fine now. If you want to help, why don’t you sit here with us?”
Grogu coos, apparently excited by the prospect of having Din around. The latter curls his legs next to you and simply watches you and Grogu play. For a moment, he forgets the piece of information you just shared with him, and it’s remarkable to him that you don’t even look like you’re in pain.
“So this happens every month?” he asks. “You… bleed out every month?”
Normally you’d laugh at someone’s lack of knowledge in this area, maybe offer a coy response, but the way Din is so keen on finding out more information and admits his gap in knowledge is simply so endearing.
“Yes,” you respond. “Unfortunately, we don’t get a break from this.”
“I’m sorry.”
You can’t help the chuckle that escapes your lips. “For what?”
“That you have to go through this.”
Oh, sweet Din. He’s probably the first man you’ve ever heard mutter such words and truly mean them. You reach for his hand, squeezing it lightly.
“I appreciate you being here with me,” you tell him. “And being so sweet.”
Din blushes, thankful you don’t see him.
But maybe one day you will. Maybe one day you will get to see his skin turn auburn with flattery and desire for you.

l need Luke Skywalker x Jedi!reader x Din djarin imagine Please
Hello dear love,
I'm so sorry it took so long to have this written for you. But I hope I did it justice.
______________________________________
CHOICE
SUMMARY: Your past and your future collide, what decision will you make?
A/N: Hello lovelies,
It's been a while since I have posted. Life has been one blow after another. Good news is that my mother is doing very well. I had COVID for two weeks almost, thankfully it wasn't too bad, but it did drain me quite a bit.
I don't write poly-ships, but I hope I did this request justice; also it's not necessarily a Jedi reader, but a reader who is force sensitive.
Thank you to the lovely @firstofficerwiggles for beta reading.
This will be a 7-parter. Updated weekly.
Love oo

Luke wiped the sweat from his face as he ran through his drills, he couldn’t help but think back to his time on Dagobah, running through that humid and dense forest with Yoda on his back. The jokes his old master would share with him, the conversations they would have, and the wisdom he could impart.
Now, he was alone.
Sure he had his twin sister, Han, Chewie, and R2 but it wasn’t the same. They didn’t understand the responsibility of becoming a Jedi, and Leia all but decided she didn’t want this life. She wanted to raise a family with Han.
A family.
His eyes focused on the stars overhead as he lay down on the grassy field, the breeze cooling his body, as he wondered what would happen if he did have a family.
Someone to love.
Who was he kidding, it would be a pipe dream. Who would he even have a family with?
It’s not like he couldn’t find some random person to start a family with, but he didn’t want just someone he could pick up at a bar. He wanted to have a deeper connection. Someone who would understand the responsibility of being with a Jedi, and the issues a long distance relationship could have.
Family.
That one word kept him up unsettled. Not because of the responsibility but because of you.
He tried to push you out of his mind, clearing his thoughts so he could focus on his meditation, however now whenever he mediated and that word kept popping up, there was one face he saw. It was yours, and all the firsts you two had shared.
His heart began to ache when he thought of the last time he saw you.
The music from the Ewok’s impromptu party still filled the night air, he looked around to find you, he hadn’t seen you since he told Leia he was turning himself in to the Empire, only to walk right into you waiting on the next catwalk.
You tried to stop him, told him you’d overheard his conversation with Leia, that he was crazy and out of his mind for going to face Vader. He did his best to reassure you, but you weren’t hearing it. He did the only thing he could think of, he leaned in and gently kissed your cheek lingering for a few seconds longer than necessary. It was the sure fire way of making sure you stopped talking, he’d used once or twice to win an argument between the two of you. As you stood there, tears in your eyes, he wished you the best and left you standing as tears streamed down your face.
He spent a good portion of the night trying to find you, and now that he had found you standing away from the party, looking out into the forest of Endor, all the words in that moment flew out of his mind as he remember the first time you two kissed.
Turned out it was both your first kiss, you were both clumsy and awkward, however, it was special. A special moment that started the both of you through a journey of friendship and love that neither of you had expected.
You looked beautiful, standing there with a drink in your hand, your eyes shined even though they seemed lost and sad. He was glad he made it back. He didn’t want to have any regrets about leaving things the way they had before he went to meet Vader, but he also knew things might never be the same between the two of you.
He took a deep breath, calming down his racing heart, taking one step towards you, “I’m surprised you’re here” Luke’s voice called over, he could see how you flinched at hearing his voice, “I thought you would’ve been having a drinking contest with Chewie by now.”
You simply hummed an acknowledgement not bothering to turn to look at him.
He ran his hand through his hair, letting out a sigh, he could sense your annoyance at having him stand beside you. He leaned on the balcony doing his best to keep his distance without looking like he was keeping his distance, he just needed to appear casual “Still mad at me?”
Your hand clenched around the mug that contained some obscure liquor the Ewok’s made, it wasn’t the tastiest thing but it certainly had a kick, you took a sip trying to calm the annoyance in your heart. Taking in a deep breath, you closed your eyes and exhaled doing your best to let your frustration go. “Let me ask you, what would you do if it had been me?”
“But it wasn’t you”
You squeezed the mug, “So because it wasn’t me, I have no right to feel anything?”
“That’s not what I said”
“Then what did you mean? I’m asking you to put yourself in my shoes, my friend … my partner or someone I thought loved me, goes to sacrifice himself, and the last thing you said to me was ‘I’m glad you’re my friend.’ Then you walked away. You didn’t turn back, you didn’t falter, you just left. If it had been me, wouldn’t you still be mad at me?”
Luke rubbed the back of his neck, “Yeah, I probably would be” he felt bad for leaving you standing there, “If there had been another way to save Vader, if it was possible for me to do it any other way, don’t you think I would’ve tried?” He looked over to you, hoping you’d understand his predicament.
A defeated sigh left you, you knew how much saving Vader meant to Luke. It was his father after all, what would you do for your family?
“I’m sorry. I know, I shouldn’t hold it against you. I know what you went through with Vader, and how much it meant for you to save him, it’s just …” You ran your hand down your face, “It just … you scared me. I thought I’d never see you again.” Tears began to well-up, “Do you know how much I love you?”
Luke stepped closer to you, resting his hand on your elbow, turning you to face him, “I know how much you care for me; it’s because I had your support I was able to do what I needed” his hand cupped your cheek, “I appreciate you more than you can possibly imagine.”
“Appreciate?” You clarified, as you stepped away from him, “You appreciate me?” You felt a nervousness rising, as your stomach fluttered, you could feel your heart breaking, “You don’t love me, do you?”
Maker how he wished he didn’t have to have this conversation, how he wished thing didn’t have to be this way.
“I … I'm the last Jedi, and with that comes a responsibility. If things were different, if I wasn’t my father’s child, if …” Luke took in a shaky breath, as he stepped closer to you again, “If I had the freedom to say what is pressing on my heart to say, what you are wanting to hear …” his hand caressed your cheek, “However, I can’t tell you what you want to hear. It’d be unfair and cruel, especially since I’m not able to give you the life you want. It’s my responsibility to train the future generations, to pass on the knowledge I have gained.”
You couldn’t believe what you were hearing, “What are you trying to say?”
His hand dropped to his side, as he took a minute to steady his nerves, he closed his eyes using the force to give him the strength of what he needed to do. He took in a deep breath before looking into your eyes, as resolve settled within his heart.
“We need to be honest about our future”
“Our future?”
“We’re heading in different directions, love. I can’t …” he cleared his throat, forcing the words to come out, “I'm not able to dedicate myself you. I am a Jedi Knight, like my father before me, my will is the will of the force, and you deserve someone who will focus on you completely”
“I don’t care what you think I deserve, I want you.” He could see how your mind was racing a million miles a minute to keep this from happening, “I can … I can help with training. I can provide support. I … I can’t …” your bottom lip started to tremble, as your eyes welled up, “I can’t walk away from you. I can’t …”
Luke wiped the tears that had slipped down your cheek, “I’m sorry. I wished things were different, but I can’t turn my back on the legacy that has been placed before me.”
You took another step back, you closed your eyes steading your nerves as much as possible, “I understand.” You did your best to fight back the tears, you were sure he could hear your heart breaking, “I know you’ll do an amazing job. I wish you all the best.”
His eyes opened as the rocks floating around him plummeted to the floor, maker how he regretted walking away from you. The next day you had left without so much as a goodbye, he didn’t blame you, after all it was his fault for making you leave.
Now, however, all he really wanted, was to see you again, to tell you he did love you. He never stopped loving you. Walking away, was the hardest and most painful thing he had to do.
He realized his mistake, especially after Grogu decided to go back to his Mandalorian, to have his family.

Din Djarin Masterlist
Summary: you and Din have been together for awhile. You know he loves you, you just need some reassurance.
Warnings: helmetless Din Djarin, oral sex (f receiving), first kiss, large c*ck, unprotected p in v sex (let me know if I missed any)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You both knew why you did it. You were both lonely, touch starved travelers. Being around each other helped, obviously. But there was something about physical contact with him that really made your heart melt.
Lately, you’d been wondering where you stand with Din. What he truly feels for you.
He’d just collected a bounty on Coruscant and was putting you in hyperspace to Nevarro before he came down into the cargo hold.
You smile softly at him and lay back in the bed compartment. He crawls in next to you, his bulky armor taking up at least half the space of the compartment. It was a cozy but good fit.
You laid your head down, facing him, as he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. Your breath shook and you felt tears pricking your eyes.
“What’s wrong, cyar’ika?” He notices your eyes welling up.
“Do you… do you love me, Din?” You look into his visor.
“Very much.” He breathes.
“Then, please… please kiss me.”
He stares at you for a second before nodding softly. He reaches up to lift his helmet slowly. You hear it decompress and then you can see his neck, his jaw, chin, lips. He paused there for only a second. He had facial hair, something you hadn’t really expected, but from what you could see it looked great. His jaw was sharp, lips full.
He continues taking off his helmet, finally revealing himself to you. You smile in disbelief, looking into his beautiful brown eyes.
He stares back at you and you know it’s true. He does love you.
He leans in slow, one hand cradling your jaw. And finally…
Finally.
He presses his lips to yours, his nose gently pushing against your cheek.
You shiver when he puts a hand on your waist to bring you closer. You moan softly and kiss him harder.
He reciprocates, lips parting to capture yours a little rougher. You throw a leg over his hips and he groans into your mouth, rolling forward against you.
“Are you-?” You swear you feel something against your thigh.
Din nods and you whine, kissing him again. He rolls onto his back and pulls you on top of him to straddle him.
“I love you.” You breathe out as you grind down against him.
“F- fuck… love you too.” He stutters, holding your hips.
“I need you.” You whimper as he bucks his hips against yours.
He swiftly holds your back as he flips you over so that he’s now on top of you. You start to pull off your shirt as he backs up and takes your pants and panties with him, tossing them behind himself.
You lay your shirt over his helmet next to your head. You were now naked for him, needy.
He crawls up between your legs, dipping his head down to kiss your vulva. You feel yourself get wetter at the touch. He runs his hands up your thighs, grabbing your hips and pulling you down against his mouth.
“Ah- Din!” You gasp, reaching down to tangle your fingers in his wavy hair.
He attaches his mouth to your clit as he expertly licks at it in circles.
“Fffuck.” Your legs quiver as pleasure builds inside you.
He slowly pushes a finger into your wetness until it’s all the way inside you. He pulls it back out and thrusts it back in. You arch up as your eyes roll back in your head.
Soon, he’s got two thick fingers inside you, working you open. His free hand is squeezing the fat of your thigh, keeping your legs open for him.
“D- Din… I’m gonna cum.” You look down at him, meeting his eyes.
He hums affirmatively against your clit, fingering you faster and faster until-
“Oh, fuck!” You gasp and pull Din’s hair as your orgasm washes over you and fills your body with electricity.
You would’ve squeezed your thighs around his head if it hadn’t been for his hand keeping you spread.
You watched him in slow motion as his face pulled back, his fingers pull out of your pussy and go straight into his mouth. He was fucking gorgeous like this.
He crawls back up the bed to you, kissing you softly. You moan at the taste of yourself on his tongue, reaching down to cup his erection through his pants.
He rolls his hips forward for more friction against your hand before you’re reaching down with your other hand too, to get his buckle, button and zipper undone.
He helps you shove the front of his pants down until his cock springs free.
“Maker.” You gawk at it for a moment, he was big, and fuck, he was going to feel so good.
He kisses you hard, pulling your bottom lip between his teeth as he slowly pushes his hardness into your velvet center.
“Oh, my- fuck-“ you let out a moan as he fills you up.
Once he’s all the way inside, you can almost feel him in your stomach. It’s driving you mad how well he fit inside you.
“Feel so good, cyar’ika.” He breathes against your lips.
You nod and kiss him, rolling your hips as a signal for him to start moving. He took it, pulling out of you before pushing back in. He started with a slow pace until you were well adjusted, until your breathing had evened out a little.
He speeds up and starts getting you riled up again, kissing you repeatedly, quickly, passionately. You’re whining with each thrust in, gasping with each draw out.
You’re getting close again, and you can tell he is too, his hips beginning to stutter as he gets faster.
“Baby, I need-“ you start.
“I know, sweet girl. Almost there.” He grunts as he fucks you into the mattress, pressing his lips to your jaw.
Your eyes slip closed as you focus on keeping your orgasm at bay until he says so. When he starts rubbing your clit, you know that he’s ready.
“Fuck, fuck.” Din whines as he finishes inside of you, working faster on your clit.
You tip over the edge with him, pussy contracting around his thick cock. He fucked you through it, fingers and hips slowing until he stops and pulls out of you.
He lays down next to you, you’re facing each other, and he wraps an arm around you and pulls you in.
“I love you.” Din whispers against your forehead before planting a kiss.
You smile wide. “I love you, too.”
Hiiiii can you please do a din djarin fic where he is helping the reader with her injuries and she is nervous and insecure
Hello there, dear anon. It would be my pleasure! I started off writing Din tending to your wounds and an actual plot sort of developed out of it. Might've gotten a little carried away, but I hope this is something like what you were looking for.
Hope that you enjoyed it and thank you for sending me a request! ♡
Word Count: 2398 Rating: General Summary: You have spent the last few months caring for the son of a mysterious Mandalorian who moved to Nevarro. Along the way, you found yourself developing a crush on him. However, when you arrive for your latest shift, you are stunned to discover that rather than caring for Grogu, Din wants to spend the day with you. Although it doesn't go entirely as planned, you both end up with a little more than you bargained for. Content Warnings: Brief descriptions of bloody injuries to reader's hands and knees.
Tumblr media
The touch on your throbbing hand was so achingly gentle that it was difficult to believe the man currently tending to your injuries once had such a notorious reputation for violence and destruction throughout the galaxy, thanks to his time in the Guild. The Mandalorian that you so admired had assumed many roles throughout his life: first he was a son, then a Mandalorian foundling. During adulthood, he had been a mercenary and a Bounty Hunter long before he was a father. There was even a brief time where he was technically Mand’alor, before his current role working with the New Republic. But today, Din Djarin took on a new role: nurse.
The day had started off promisingly enough. You arrived at Din’s cabin on the outskirts of Nevarro for your usual shift, expecting to take care of Grogu while Din ran some errands in town. But instead of answering the door like he usually did, clad in a full suit of armour and holding Grogu in his arms, Din's appearance was noticeably different. While he wore his usual helmet and gloves, everything else was unrecognisable. Instead of his unpainted Beskar, Din wore a form-fitting brown shirt with matching brown shorts and what appeared to be hiking boots. You were instantly curious, fearing you had perhaps gotten the time for your shift confused.
But even more intriguing than Din’s appearance was that Grogu was nowhere to be seen. Before you could question Din on his son’s whereabouts, he explained that he had already left Grogu in the care of High Magistrate Karga. You turned to leave, realising that, clearly, your services would not be required today. But Din gently grabbed your wrist to prevent you from walking away so that he could explain his actions. It transpired that Din wanted to spend the day with you and that leaving Grogu had been the first step of his plan. Now, it was time for the two of you to spend the day exploring the volcanic planet you both inhabited.
As the two of you had set out on a hike across the lava flats of Nevarro, you found your head was spinning with questions. Why in Maker’s name did Din want to spend time with you? What had you done to be worthy of his time? After all, you were initially employed to look after Grogu because Din was often so busy during the brief time he spent between missions that he wanted to enjoy his time and run errands that could be difficult with a child tagging along. Why would he waste a day on you?
Despite the questions spinning around in your mind, you were too shy to vocalise a single one of them. It was to be expected, as you found that you were always nervous in Din’s presence. You found him equal parts intimidating and mesmerising with his hulking, looming presence as he shimmered in all of his unpainted Beskar glory. You loved his deep, raspy voice and the way he held himself so confidently.
After so many months of getting to know him and caring for Grogu, you found that you had developed somewhat of a crush on the mysterious Mandalorian who you had taken on childcare duties for. Although some of your nerves had dissipated the more time you had spent with Din, there was still a feeling whenever you were around him that you could not quite explain. You just knew that whenever you left him, you ached to be in his presence. Any amount of time with him would never be enough.
Was it a possibility, given his sudden desire to spend time with you, that Din reciprocated such feelings? It was a thought that had caused you to almost fall over your own feet several times, so giddy were you at such a prospect. You had mentally chastised yourself each time, reminding yourself that you needed to focus and keep your balance. There would be nothing more embarrassing than tripping over yourself because you were too busy daydreaming about what being on the receiving end of Din Djarin’s affections would feel like.
So, instead, as you followed Din across the planet’s surface, you tried to focus on the purposeful, even steps that he was taking by staring at his weathered brown boots. But even that proved difficult, given the fact that above his boots were his legs, which were, for once, bare. You found yourself unable to tear your gaze away from his muscular calves as he strode along Nevarro’s grey-black volcanic surface. The firmness of his skin and how tanned it appeared fascinated you. You wondered what such skin would feel like beneath your hands. Would it be soft and smooth or weathered like the leather of his boots? You wondered, too, whether the smattering of dark hair on his legs was any indication about the hair on top of his head. You knew that removing his helmet in your presence would violate his creed, but you wouldn't lie and say that you weren't curious about what he looked like. You often wondered whether Din's face matched his gorgeous voice.
You watched in awe as Din's muscular arms reached up to adjust the bag that was slung across his broad shoulders. You were just appreciating being in his presence as much as you were his physicality. Ever since you had first met Din, you had felt inexplicably drawn to him. You would follow him anywhere in the galaxy, should he only ask.
As it happened, today he was asking you to join him on a hike up one of the volcanos that littered the Nevarrian surface. You had been a little daunted at the prospect of such an endeavour, but Din promised you that the views would be worth it. So despite your reservations, you began to follow him to the top of the volcano.
Things had been progressing nicely for the most part. Although you had struggled to keep up with Din at first with the long strides he took, he had adjusted his pace and the two of you had fallen into step at each other’s side.
Your heart felt as though it was beating out of your chest. You weren’t sure if it was because of the exertion from hiking up a volcano or at the realisation of how close the man you harboured a crush for was to you. Although the temperature was beginning to rise as it approached the afternoon, you were actually starting to enjoy the hike. The frequent water breaks that you took were welcome, too. You and Din would sit for a few minutes and share sips from the canteen of water he had brought. Din used a long straw to take his sips, a sight that you found impossibly adorable. There he was, such a mountain of a man, using a small straw to take small sips of his drink.
As you set off from your most recent water break, it appeared that the path ahead of you narrowed. You and Din resumed walking in single file, treading a careful path across the surface. Din warned you to mind your step as there were rocks up ahead, but in the couple of seconds you took your gaze off the path to look at what lay ahead, your foot snagged something.
Everything which followed seemed to happen in slow motion, you put your hands out to brace yourself, which proved to be a painful mistake.
“Din!” You screamed as you tumbled to the ground.
For a few moments, you thought that you had avoided any injury. Your pulse was racing, your heart pounding in your head as you lay there disorientated. The first thing you heard once your senses returned was the crunch of the gravel underneath Din’s boots as he raced to your aid. Then, the T-visor of his helmet came into view. Din placed his hands underneath your shoulders and gently helped you into a seated position. It was only then, with him in front of you, that you finally felt the extent of your injuries.
You howled in pain as Din held your left hand carefully in his. Finally, you felt the way it stung. Your palm throbbed, it felt as though you had just been cut by shards of glass. Although the cuts weren’t deep and, luckily, you had avoided any stones getting stuck in your skin, blood was seeping from the cuts on the palm of your hand.
“Oh dear. That looks painful,” Din offered sympathetically as he assessed the extent of your injuries. “Hold on, I have a medkit in this bag.”
As Din swung the bag over his shoulder, you looked down at the rest of your body to check for further injuries. You felt your stomach drop as you noticed more blood oozing from your leg.
“Din, it’s my knee, too,” You whined, as your left knee joined your hands throbbing with pain.
“It’s okay, I have some Bacta patches and spray. I’ll have you patched up in no time,” Din said softly.
You sat back and watched as this enormous, hulking man removed his gloves and began to tend ever-so gently to your wounds. Perhaps, if you weren’t in so much pain, you would have appreciated the fact that the two of you were touching skin-to-skin, with no barriers between you.
Din's broad shoulders hunched over as he carefully examined the damage and began to apply the Bacta spray to your hands. You had been privileged enough to witness the softer, caring side of Din Djarin on multiple occasions since you had met him during the time the two of you had spent together in his cabin. However, the caring side of him was usually reserved for his interactions with Grogu. But today, it was your turn to experience this tender side of the Mandalorian that you had once been so intimidated by.
Now the Bacta spray was beginning to take effect and lessen the thrumming pain in your hand, you found that nerves overtook you. Your heart raced with anxiety. You were so nervous that being in such close proximity would reveal the extent of your feelings for Din.
But you were distracted by such thoughts as Din applied the Bacta patches to your injured hands. You bit your lip to stop the tears that threatened to fall down your cheeks, moved by how much care he took with his ministrations. With your hands successfully cared for, Din moved to address your injured knee.
“You probably think I’m a clumsy fool,” You scoffed as Din tended to your knee, suddenly embarrassed at how careless you had been in his presence. The man just wanted to spend his day off hiking up a volcano, he had invited you to join him and you had ruined those plans by being such a bumbling idiot.
“Never,” Din shook his head with absolute conviction in his voice. Din raised his helmet to look at you and softly added: “I could never think such a thing about you, cyare.”
The tears you had been holding back then flowed freely down your cheeks. You found yourself so moved by his reassuring words and the kindness and warmth in his voice. The word Din had used meant nothing to you but you supposed it was from his native tongue.
“Come here,” Din sighed as he inched his way to sit closer towards you. He moved his hands to cup your jaw gently, wiping the tears that began to feel with his thumbs.
The comforting words and actions had the opposite effect, however, as more tears trailed hot paths down your cheeks.
“I’m sorry for ruining your day, Din,” You sniffled apologetically as you struggled to meet his helmeted gaze.
“Ruin it?!” Din exclaimed, incredulous at such a notion. “Never.” He asserted. “Any day I spend with you is a day to be treasured. I enjoy your company.”
“Really?” You asked, stunned at his admission, wiping your cheeks with the backs of your hands as the tears finally began to subside.
“Of course,” Din nodded. “I’m sorry today didn’t work out. I wanted to show you the most gorgeous view on Nevarro. As it turns out, it appears it was right here in front of me all along…”
Your mouth hung open and your eyebrows shot up your face as you stared at the Mandalorian by your side in stunned silence.
“Oh, Din…” You whispered, voice full of emotion. But you were still a little confused. You furrowed your brow and sought clarity: “Do you… I mean…” You stammered, unable to form coherent thoughts following the implication of his words.
“Let me be clear: I intended for us to hike to the top of the volcano so that we could finally have some time alone,” Din took a deep, steadying breath before he continued: “And once up there… I could tell you that ever since I met you, I haven’t been able to shake you from my mind. I think you’re an incredible person and, if you’d allow me to, I’d like to get to know you better.”
“I’d love that, Din,” You practically squealed. “Although, perhaps for our first proper date, we should do something indoors,” You joked, the pain from your fall already subsiding after the rush of excitement that coursed through your body after Din had confessed his feelings for you.
Din laughed at that and wrapped his arm around you. The two of you shifted to a more comfortable position on the ground, swinging your legs out over the side of the rocky path and facing out to the rest of Nevarro. Even though you hadn’t made it to the top due to your unfortunate accident, you reasoned that it couldn’t possibly be as incredible as this. You were sure the view was even better from down here, especially with Din’s strong arm slung around your shoulders. You smiled as his hand rubbed the top of your arm gently as you leaned against his firm, warm chest.
You sighed in contentment as you gazed across the volcanic planet before you. It may have taken you falling flat on your face to finally force the two of you to address your feelings for each other, but it was undoubtedly a price you were willing to pay.
Námo x reader - 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖
Tumblr media
Author's Note: Suggested by @singleteapot. Thank you so much! Hope you like what I came up with♡
Tumblr media
☯ For the most part, Námo lets you do your thing. He trusts that you are smart and competent and usually doesn't consider it necessary to interfere
☯ But he soon notices your bad habits, sees how tired you are, how you sometimes forget to eat or don't get as much rest as you need to stay happy and healthy and it worries him
☯ Námo starts by asking if you're alright and if you need anything and will accept it if you decline, though he may be a bit more careful and gentle with you than normal, trying to be supportive and subtly show you that he cares
☯ If your condition doesn't improve, he'll soon get more blunt, telling you what he's been observing and that he's worried about you. Being the strict judge that he is, he won't hear excuses forever
☯ Regardless of what your answer is, Námo decides to take charge, his protective instincts kicking in. Many in Valinor have forgotten about it over the years, but he practically raised Irmo when they were young, so he developed strong feelings of responsibility for his loved ones
☯ Námo consults with Irmo and Estë to figure out what he should do. He proceeds to carry you to your shared bed, bring you your favourite food and drinks and make sure you're warm and comfortable
☯ If work was troubling you, he'll have it taken care of, and if someone was bothering you or causing problems, they'll get a stern warning from the Doomsman himself
☯ You get to experience his soft, affectionate side more than ever before. Námo sometimes has trouble expressing his feelings, but you can see how his face softens when he's around you, hear the tone of his voice changing and feel the affection in his touch
☯ Námo loves to reward your for good behaviour and progress, but he won't do so until you've earned it. He watches over you with loving strictness, making sure that his little raven recovers and feels better soon
. . . . . ◟੭. . . . . ◟੭. . . . . ◟੭
"I'm fine," you insist, squirming on his lap in an attempt to turn around and glare at your lover. "I can go to work tomorrow -"
"Mmh..." Námo muses, pulling you closer and kissing your parting. "As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, I am not convinced."
"But the work is just going to pile up -"
"It won't. I will see to that, little raven; do not concern yourself with these things now."
"But I want -"
"Motion denied." A low chuckle rumbles in Námo's chest after he utters his final verdict, and you can't help smiling as well. It's rare for him to make jokes, and you appreciate seeing this side of him, one reserved only for his loved ones.
You lean back and snuggle up to him, finally admitting defeat. "Can I have a kiss at least?"
Námo smiles when he leans in to grant your request. "You may."
Din had been so resistant to the idea of having a partner on a hunt, but Greef refused to take no for an answer. He agreed in the end; he figured he owed the man a favor because Greef had set aside a puck for Din that had a big payout. After he got the credits, he’d been able to afford not only refueling the Crest, but a few thermal detonators, a new vibroblade, and a fresh bar of soap—all luxuries he rarely indulged unless absolutely necessary. So, Din had sighed and nodded, Greef introduced Din to his partner, and then they were off.
He hadn’t expected his unwanted accomplice to be as—if not more—capable than him. They’d boarded the Crest with an overstuffed backpack and a long duffel bag, a wry smile on their face, and an attractive body that made Din gulp and blush. How could he not notice their looks when they carried themselves with the confidence of a skilled and seasoned hunter? Karga had told Din how many years they’d been in the Guild after he asked the question for a third time, and Din had groaned at the answer. The person was still an amateur compared to him.
It certainly didn’t appear that way when Din descended the ladder from the cockpit to the cargo hold and saw them sitting on the floor taking apart their sniper rifle. It was a model Din had seen before in a couple shady, back-alley shops on Coruscant and slung over the backs of one or two other Guild members, but the one his partner was dissembling had a few modifications Din didn’t recognize. Din watched their hands deftly take it apart, moving with a level of precision only acquired by years of practice and experience he knew didn’t match the number Karga had told him. It was hypnotizing to watch them pull and twist the pieces apart and gently place them on the black canvas pad in front of their legs. The corner of his mouth twitched upwards when he saw the way their brow was furrowed with focus and their lips set in a hard line.
“Are you going to stand there all the way to Jakku?”
Their curt voice snapped Din out of his trance, and he crossed his arms. “No, I—um,” he got flustered when they looked up at him with questioning eyes and cleared his throat. “That rifle. How did—”
“How did I get it?” they finished his question with a tired sigh and a roll of their eyes. Their thumb tapped the piece in their hand, and Din watched it with eager eyes. “I bought it, that’s how,” they snapped, looking back down at the pieces in front of them.
There was a pause, Din’s helmet trained on them as they set the piece back down. Their hands were still for only a few seconds before they reached to the right and grabbed a can of oil with a thin spray nozzle. Irritation painted their face as they picked up a sleek black piece, inspecting it before shaking the can and giving a part of the piece a quick blast of oil.
“It’s a 773—”
“773 Firepuncher,” they snapped, their voice overlapping Din’s. They picked up its scope. “I bought it after my first hunt. I’m not a fan of getting too close to my quarries. This guy—” they gave Din a quick smile— “is my best friend.”
He crossed his arms. “Those aren’t easy to come by.”
“They are when you have a network, but I doubt you talk enough to have one.”
Din tilted his head at the snide remark, almost letting it slide because of the way they bit their lip and smiled to themselves. Their shoulders jumped with a suppressed laugh that should have made Din mad, but it only made his cheeks and ears turn red under the beskar. Clearly, they knew their way around their weapon—but any good hunter should. As they set down the scope and picked up the rag on their left, wiping off their fingers, he shifted and thought of something smart to say.
“So, you don’t like getting your hands dirty?” he probed.
“Oh, I will, I just think it’s…” They looked up at the ceiling and waved their hands around, searching for a word in the air. “Unproductive.” They hummed and picked up a part of the barrel. “Yeah, that’s the word. Unproductive.”
“You can just be honest and say you’ve broken your hand throwing a punch,” he shrugged.
They laughed mirthfully. “I learned how to fight before I started hunting, Mando. Not all of us can hide underneath beskar.”
Din’s skin went hot under his.
They looked up at him with mischievous eyes and an endearing smirk. They looked back down at their occupied hands and shrugged, tracing a finger over the barrel’s ridges and lines.
“I just thought it’d be idiotic to start hunting while still training. Luckily, I started young—way too young, I think,” they added, eyebrows knitting together, something hard settling across their attractive features.
Din cleared his throat and leaned back against the ladder, hoping to relate on some level with them. “I began my training as a child after I was rescued by my covert.”
“I held a blaster for the first time when I was 13,” they stated.
“I think I was 11.”
They shook their head and exhaled with wide eyes. “Damn, Mando,” they chuckled, giving him a smile. “You’ve got me beat there.”
They looked back down at their work and gave the barrel a few more moments of consideration before setting it down and fiddling with the stand. Din kept quiet, observing them in silence once again. He couldn’t decide if his heart was racing from their smart quips pushing his buttons or from shy nerves. He wasn’t inclined to find out, but he did know that he’d changed his mind about them. They weren’t the incompetent, young hunter Din had thought them to be; no, it was quite the opposite. They were hardened from experiences they shouldn’t have had to go through, tough as nails, and wittier than anyone Din had ever met. They made his gloved palms clammy and left him flustered. But he didn’t hate it. Maybe he liked it. Maybe he liked them, or maybe he just envied them. But he had time to decide—their hunt hadn’t even started yet.
“Have you ever used a 773?” they asked, something in their voice wavering. They looked up at him with expectant eyes, hoping for a certain answer. What that answer was, Din couldn’t tell; he just hoped he’d give them the right one.
“Can’t say I have.”
Din waited on edge, hoping he’d answered them correctly. They nodded and their eyes darted to the black canvas, fingers tapping against the piece in front of them. When they looked back up at Din, they gave him a soft smile that he didn’t think they were capable of. Even more surprising was that he liked it.
“Would you, um,” they bit their lip and cleared their throat. “Would you like to learn more about it? Maybe try it out when we land?”
Din was…flattered. All the hunters he knew were incredibly protective of their weapons, only sharing when absolutely necessary and always asking for everything back once the job was done. Yet here they were, offering him a piece of themselves. It threw him for a loop, but then again, this hunter was full of surprises.
When he silently nodded, they gave him an excited smile. Din dragged over a light cargo box—kriff, he needed more rations—and plopped down in front of them, leaning forward and urging them to start talking with a wave of his hands. They eagerly began, their sentences sprinkled with nervous stutters and awkward glances. Din enjoyed it, smiling under his helmet at how their face lit up while describing an impressive shot they’d made with the rifle. For once, Din was glad he’d made a misjudgment. Maybe a partnership with them wouldn’t be that bad. Who knows—maybe he’d want to keep them around for more than this hunt.
Tumblr media
Months later, after finishing their sixth consecutive hunt together, he told them how that moment lit a small flame inside his chest. Din held their hand in his as he told them that he’d smiled.
“You actually smile under that thing?” they teased, earning a shake of Din’s head.
“I only smile at you,” he clarified.
They pulled their hand away and raised their arms over their head, stretching their body with a cute grimace. They’d been occupied with their rifle for a good while now; it was an anxious habit of theirs. So, he’d decided to keep them company. It would be a while before they got to Nevarro, and Din enjoyed talking to them anyways.
“That’s—mm—good, Din.”
Their comment was interrupted with a tiny groan from their stretch that tickled Din’s heart. Their eyes met Din’s visor and their hands dropped to the metal floor before picking up a piece of their rifle. He leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees, drinking them in with thirsty eyes.
Din could never get enough of them. He was forever parched now that he’d had a taste of them after their third hunt. They’d been forced to drop their rifle and engage the quarry in a fight, and Din had found them with their knee on top of the Trandoshan quarry. As they put the cuffs on the quarry, they gave Din a coy smile, shrugging their shoulder to try and rub sweat off their cheek. In that moment, Din knew he wanted them, knew that the way they made him blush and stutter wasn’t due to him feeling insecure. No, he was attracted to them, and he needed them.
Later, they both came together on the floor of the Crest, their voices harmonizing in ecstasy, chests heaving in unison. Din was sweating under the helmet, the rest of his body bare and hot under their touch.
He didn’t even have to ask if they’d stay with him a little bit longer. The look in their gorgeous eyes told him all that he needed to know.
So here he sat, watching them grease their rifle yet again. Din would never get tired of watching it. Every time he saw them make a clean shot or save his ass on a hunt with quick thinking and excellent aim, his heart hammered in his chest and made him want them even more. Din’s knees went weak for them, and words failed him.
But he couldn’t tell them all of that just yet. He’d tell them later in bed after they brought in the quarry from their most recent hunt. Din hoped they didn’t hate the room he’d booked at Nevarro’s small inn. Din hoped he wasn’t misjudging their feelings, too. They were the only person in the galaxy who could make Din care enough to feel his heart hammering in his chest.
“Din? You here with me?” they asked, smiling.
He nodded. “Yeah, yeah. I’m here, I promise.”
“Good, you went all stiff and silent. I was nervous for a second there,” they admitted.
“Don’t worry,” he said softly. “I’m not going anywhere.”
They beamed at him, making his heart skip a beat. Kriff, he loved the way they made him feel. How could he ever leave someone as incredible as them?
