I saw that post going around about what people have on their nightstands and it made me wonder what Din would keep by his bed in the cabin on Nevarro...

I think:

Pictures of Grogu (apparently picture frames are called holocubes in Star Wars!)

A weapon! Probably a blaster of some sort. I imagine it would take him a while to even place it there (he probably slept with it tucked into his waistband/under his pillow for a few months...)

Various empty bottles which he really needs to throw away but keeps forgetting because he's a Tired, Stressed Dad™

Maybe his helmet, just in case he quickly needs to grab it and put it on (he probably feels so naked without it)

A Mythosaur necklace. I know we never saw it in canon, but I feel like he acquired another one so him and Grogu match. He takes it off every night before he goes to sleep but it's always there, close by.

I love fantasising about the little details of his cabin... I really hope we get to see some of them in the movie!

2. Are you a pantser or plotter?

I am a secret third thing: a plantser 😎! I think ideas come to me randomly, so then I really do fly by the seat of my pants lol. But for longer fics, I do plot certain points. They are mainly bullet points of one sentence or so for each chapter, but I wouldn't say my fics are well planned before I start writing. Things come to me as I write. That's why I tend to finish longfics or at least have some sort of draft down before I start publishing, because I need to go back and edit my earlier chapters a loooot hehe.

19. How do you keep yourself motivated?

I think I just really need to write. I have so many ideas in my head I feel like I have to get them out there. And I think the sentiment that if you don't write down your ideas, then the universe loses out. Only you can write your fics and if you don't, that burst of creativity is gone forever. Of course kind comments are always a joy to receive and make my day, but I think my actual motivation comes from this really strong desire to get the words out!!

29. Favourite villain

Feel like I haven't written many villains to be honest! I made Axe Woves the main antagonist of my Dinbo longfic lol (sorry to him) but I should probably write more villains. There is one in a WIP I have but I feel like he's pretty tame so far and I need to make him worse hehe.

1. Do you listen to music when you write?

It honestly depends on what I'm writing! Sometimes I love it and it helps me get in the zone but I think if I really need to focus then I tend not to and play 10 hours of patio rain or whatever heheh. I also love bardcore too, because it's kind of familiar but with no lyrics it isn't too distracting!

12. Describe your perfect writing space

Somewhere with natural light, lots of books around me, maybe a crackling fire and infinite coffee. That would be a dream! I have two of those things (natural light and books) when I write at my desk in my bedroom so halfway there!

17. What writing habits or rituals do you have?

I kind of go through phases depending on what I write. But lighting my Lavender scented Yankee candle and making a mug of coffee are pretty much a constant!
