The ending was adorable 🥹 Everyone is going to ask for the proposal and the wedding and all that amazing stuff… but I really want to see the Disney trip and Wayne on Its a Small World 😂
Tumblr media
Single Dad!Eddie x Fem!ReaderSeries
Summary: The whole Munson clan embarks on their first trip to Disney World; as expected, it's filled with both magic and mayhem.
WC: 1.8k
A/N: Also requested by @tvserie-s-world!
June 2002
The Munson chaos, as it turns out, is not limited to Hawkins. It tags along everywhere, including family vacations.
Especially family vacations.
“Babe, where’s the sunscreen?” “I wanna see Mickey!” “Ed, have you seen my hat?” “I’m hungry!”
Taking a deep breath, you toss Eddie the bottle of Coppertone, remind Harris that you actually had to get to the Magic Kingdom before seeing any of the characters, find Wayne’s ball cap in the bottom of his suitcase, and scrounge up a baggy of Cheerios for Hendrix.
“Okay, are we ready to go?”
Your question is met with an emphatic chorus of yeses as the five of you leave the hotel room and make a beeline for the shuttle bus.
Eddie tries to scoop Hendrix into his arms; try as he might, your two-year-old’s chubby legs just can’t carry him very far, very fast. He scrunches up his face and squirms out of Eddie’s grasp.
“Wan’ walk!” Hendrix pouts, lower lip jutting out in sheer defiance.
An exasperated sigh escapes Eddie’s lips. “There’s gonna be a lot of walking later, buddy.” But he knows there’s no sense in arguing, and he settles for holding the boy’s hand. He’s heard tales of Disney meltdowns, but he was hoping to avoid one before the day even started.
The Florida heat is no joke. It envelops you like a casing, and you’re grateful for the air conditioned bus. Everyone sits down, Hendrix on your lap, and you lean in to discuss the day’s plans.
“So,” you begin, “I really want to get a picture of all of us in front of the castle. After that, we can split up. I know Harris wants to ride Space Mountain—”
“And Splash Mountain and Big Thunder,” he interjects, a seriousness in his eyes. As though you could have forgotten—all he’s talked about for weeks are those three rides.
You nod in acknowledgment. “One thing at a time.” The reminder is gentle, a nudge to keep him focused on a single goal so he didn’t overwhelm himself. Turning back to the group, you continue the rundown. “Wayne, you’re fine taking Hendrix on a few rides by yourself?”
The older man grins. “Can’t wait to have that damn doll song stuck in my head.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you see Eddie raise his hand.
“Yes?”
“I’m actually gonna sit Space Mountain out,” he says, sheepishness seeping into his cheeks. “So I can go with Wayne and Hendrix, and then we can all meet up after.”
Harris looks at his father in bewilderment. “Dad, are you afraid?”
“N-No!” Eddie sputters, sighing when you shoot him a glare that tells him to be honest. “I mean, yeah, a little. But you and Mom should still go on it.”
“It’s just you and me, kiddo.” You smile at Harris and return to the task at hand. “And then we’ll all go on the Peter Pan ride together before we grab lunch.”
Everyone nods in agreement, though you know that actually executing the idea will be much more of a challenge. You take the win for now, climbing off of the bus with Hendrix in your arms with the rest of the family behind you.
A jovial melody surrounds you as you enter the Magic Kingdom, putting some extra pep in your step. You feel the excitement building; not just from the boys, but from the adults, too. Neither Eddie nor Wayne have been here before, and they’re just as eager to start the vacation.
Your breath hitches as you make your way down Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle finally comes into view.
“I’ll be damned,” Wayne mutters under his breath, his voice breaking slightly. “Looks just like the movie.”
You reach out and take Eddie’s hand, squeezing it gently as the five of you take in the sight. Tears blur your vision, and you can only imagine that Eddie’s experiencing the same.
We did it. We’re at Disney World with our family.
You manage to stave off the tears long enough to ask a Cast Member to snap a photo with your disposable Kodak camera.
“Say cheese!” The woman chirps with a smile of her own, and you all comply–even Wayne.
As soon as the shutter clicks, the usual pandemonium resumes. Harris is tugging on your hand and dragging you towards Tomorrowland.
“Remember, Har,” you say, “we might have to wait in line for a while.” It’s a concept you thoroughly went over prior to the trip, but it never hurts to remind him.
Since you’d started out early, the queue isn’t terribly long; nothing that can’t be handled with a few rounds of I Spy. Before you know it, you’re boarding your tiny rocketship right behind Harris. The ten-year-old is practically bouncing out of his seat, and you’re more than grateful for the lap bar holding him in place.
Harris squeals with delight at each banked turn, even putting his hands in the air as he gets braver towards the end of the ride. Adrenaline buzzes through him when the ride comes to a stop, and he darts for the exit.
“Wait for me!” You call out, and he pauses until you get your very not ten-year-old body out of the cramped vehicle. It used to be a lot easier to stand up when you were his age, but you eventually catch up with Harris to head to Fantasyland.
What you find there is the last thing you would have imagined.
Eddie walks out of one of the myriad gift shops, with Hendrix in his arms and Wayne beside both of them. Your younger son has a pair of Mickey Mouse ears on his head, and one in his hands–for Harris, you assume–but what’s out of the ordinary is what the men are wearing.
“Oh…my…god!” You cackle, and Harris joins you when he sees his dad and grandpa wearing matching tall Goofy hats, the floppy ears swaying against their cheeks.
Eddie grins, doing a small spin that proves more difficult when carrying a two-year-old. “How do we look?” He asks.
Stifling further laughter, you shake your head. “Incredible.” When you reach him, you give him a quick peck on the lips. “I’ve never been more attracted to you than I am right now.”
“I think that says more about you than it does me, Sweetheart.”
Harris takes his souvenir from his little brother and slides the string under his chin. Both of them look absolutely precious, and you snap another picture before either can protest.
“Oh, one last thing.” Eddie reaches into a mouse-printed bag and pulls out a gold plastic tiara, covered in glitter with a photo of Belle in the center. He carefully places it atop your head and you secure it against your scalp. “There,” he murmurs, “pretty like a princess.”
A warmth settles into you that is unrelated to the humidity. You swear you could gaze into his eyes for an eternity, losing yourself in the hazel flecks that accentuated the chocolate irises—
“It’s Mickey!”
You follow where Hendrix is pointing; sure enough, the world’s most famous mouse was walking to a designated spot, flanked by an entourage of handlers. It’s the opposite direction of Peter Pan’s Flight, but you’re not about to compete with Mickey Mouse himself.
Hendrix’s jubilation wanes as he gets closer to the character, chubby fingers digging into Eddie’s biceps. When he reaches the front of the line, he begins outright wailing, face buried in his dad’s shirt.
Frowning, you try to peel him away. “Hendrix, it’s our turn!” You tell him, trying to rebuild the excitement with no success. “Don’t you wanna meet Mickey?”
“Too scary!” He sobs, his little body shaking with fear.
You look at your husband, pushing away the urge to freeze up and throw a tantrum of your own. “Okay, I’ll take Hendrix; you and Wayne stay with Har—”
But Harris is faster, nudging between you and Eddie to place a hand on his brother’s back. “Hen, you don’t have to be scared. I’m gonna be right there with you.” He glances at Mickey, then back at Hendrix. “I know he’s a lot bigger than on TV, but he’s not going to hurt you.”
The crying subsides, save for a few hiccups. Hendrix sloppily wipes at his damp cheeks and holds his arms out so Harris can take him. They walk hand-in-hand, the youngest Munson glued to his big brother’s side.
Harris waves at Mickey, imploring Hendrix to do the same. He obliges, albeit timidly, but there’s no mistaking the joyful giggle that escapes him when Mickey returns the gesture.
Eddie laces his fingers with yours, metal rings warm from the summer sun. “Can you get a picture of this?” You nod and reluctantly let go of him, forever capturing the moment with the click of a button.
The rest of the day is spent waiting in line, riding attractions with colorful scenery, scarfing down Mickey-shaped food items, and taking a much-needed midday nap at the hotel. The sleep recharges you enough to head back out to the park after dinner.
The sun begins to set, though the temperature barely drops a single degree. Your group finds a bench right outside Liberty Square. Wayne sits with Hendrix on his lap, Eddie next to him, and you take a seat at the end. Harris stays standing, leaning against the wooden back only to help him get his jumps out.
“Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls!” A cheerful disembodied voice comes over the park’s sound system. “Our fireworks presentation, Fantasy in the Sky, is about to begin. Thank you!”
You dig in your bag and pull out some wax earplugs for Harris. Hendrix extends his hand for his own pair, always wanting to be just like his big brother.
Fireworks light up the sky, bright pink and blue and green hues that leave wispy trails of smoke in their wake. Harris keeps his fingers pressed to his ears to block out any additional noise, but it doesn’t detract from the smile on his face.
Perhaps the only person more enamored with the show is Wayne. The lights illuminate his awe-struck face, mouth agape, as though he’s in disbelief of the magic surrounding him.
Eddie leans down to kiss your forehead and you rest your head on his shoulder. “Havin’ a good time, Sweetheart?” he mumbles against your skin.
You nod, looking up and pressing your lips to his cheek. “Are you?”
He takes in the sight of his sons and his uncle, together in a place he’s only ever dreamed of visiting. And he has you by his side; more than that, you are the reason he’s here at all.
“I’ve never been happier.”

His Little Mermaid-Part 2
Summary: You're a mermaid, and you've wanted to see the human world all your life. Prince Eric has always wanted to explore the uncharted waters. When your two world collide, it seems like it was written in the stars.
Pairing: Prince Eric x Mermaid!Reader
Warnings: Violence (no more come to mind)
Note: This series has a mixture of both the original Little Mermaid movie and the new live action version. All rights reserved to Disney. I do not own any of these characters.
----------------
Upon the ship, there was a prince. He just turned eighteen that day, and his name was Eric. Starting from when he was little, he had such a fascination with the sea. He’s always heard the tales of the sea about Mermaids, luring sailors to their doom. But he never really believed them
“HEY! What’s going on kiddo? Quite a show eh?” Scuttle yelled.
“Shhh! Scuttle be quiet! They’ll hear you!” Y/n shushed.
“Ohhh I get it! We’re being secretive!”
“I’ve never seen a human this close before…” Y/n begins to smile, “He’s very handsome, isn’t he?”
“I don’t know about handsome but the kid does play a mean snarfblatt!”
“Silence! Silence! It is now my honor and privilege to present our esteemed Prince Eric with a very special… very expensive… very large birthday present!”
Two sailors begin to bring out the present. It was wrapped in tarp but it was very big.
“Aww Grimsby, you shouldn’t have.” The sailors pull off the tarp. Eric weakly smiles, “It’s uh… really something.”
It was a large life size statue of Prince Eric in a dramatic pose.
“I had hoped this would be a wedding present, but it’ll do for your birthday.”
Eric sighs and rolls his eyes, “C’mon Grims. Don’t Start!” He begins walking away towards the side of the bow of the ship. Y/n sees them coming towards her and she ducks down, closer to the side of the ship. Eric looks out towards the side of the ship, seeing the rolling waves pass by.
“Eric, It isn’t me alone. The entire kingdom wants to see you happily settled down with the right girl. Including your mother.”
“Oh she’s out there, somewhere. I just… I just haven’t found her yet.”
“Perhaps you haven’t been looking hard enough.” Grimsby added.
“Believe me Grim, when I find her, I’ll know. Without a doubt!” All of the sudden, lightning strikes, causing Eric to look up. He sees dark clouds forming in the sky, and a strong wind begins to blow.
“Secure the rigging men!” Eric yells and begins tightening up the ship.
Y/n sits there on the rescue boat, watching everything. Another gust of wind picks up and blows Scuttle away.
“Gosh these winds! I’ll see ya later kid!” Scuttle yells.
Another lightning strikes, causing the mass to catch on fire. Grimsby attempts to catch the statue of Eric, but he just narrowly misses it. The statue falls deep into the water down below. In the midst of all of this happening, Grimsby falls into the water with most of the other sailors. Y/n decides to untie the rope holding the rescue boat, letting it fall into the water for the sailors to use. Then, she hears a huge splash and turns around. She sees Eric falling into the water, unconscious. She immediately swims towards him, helping him keep afloat.
—-----------------
In the morning, she makes it to the shore of the nearest beach, which happens to be the beach of the island where the royal family lives.
“Is he dead?” Y/n asked Scuttle worriedly.
“Hard to say…” Scuttle goes up to Eric, and begins to inspect his body. When he gets to his foot, he raises it to his ear. “Hmmm… I can’t make out a heartbeat…”
Y/n looks at Eric sadly. But suddenly, Eric stirs slightly.
“No, look! He’s breathing!” She begins to stroke his hair, “He’s so… beautiful. I would give anything to live where you are. What would I pay to stay here beside you.” Eric begins to turn his head towards Y/n, and begins to smile while his eyes are still closed.
Castle men begin to come down the hill behind them, shouting for Eric. In a haste, Y/n dives back into the water, trying to get away from the soldiers. She hides behind a rock, secretly watching the group.
“Eric! You really enjoy straining my blood pressure, don’t you?” Grimsby yells while attempting to pick up Eric.
Eric tries to stand up in a daze, “A girl… rescued me… she was… singing. She had- she had the most beautiful voice…”
“Eric, I think you’ve swallowed a bit too much seawater. Up we go!”
“I don’t know when, I don’t know how, someday I’ll be part of your world.”
Down below, Ursula is watching from her underwater cave, plotting her newest scheme.
“My, my… the daughter of the great Sea King interacting with a human… How shocking! What would old daddy say? She rolls her eyes, “Serves him right! That miserable old tyrant! Still, this little mermaid’s situation seems ripe with possibilities. Yes, I see the most brilliant future for this lovesick girl.”
—-----------------
Back at the King’s palace, Y/n’s sisters yell for her.
“Y/n dear! Time to come out! You’ve been in there all morning!” Andrina yells.
“We have to get dressed too, you know!” Adella adds.
“What is with her lately?” Aquata asks.
“I know what you mean. Mooning around with that giddy smile on her face.” Said Attina.
“I asked her what was wrong but she wouldn’t tell me anything!”
“Isn’t it obvious? The girl’s in love!”
All the sisters gasp, “She’s in love?” How- with who?”
Y/n emerges from the room with her hair brushed nicely and a flower in her hair. She hums a tune while swimming past her sisters, nearly crashing into her father.
“Morning, daddy!”
“She’s got it bad!” her sisters laugh.
“What? What has she got? Their father questioned.
“Isn’t it obvious, daddy? Y/n’s in love!”
“Y/n… in love?”
—-----------------
“Where is Eric?” The Queen, Eric’s mother, asks.
“I’m not sure. I think he is still getting ready.” Grimsby responds.
“Ugh, is he still chasing over that fantasy girl?”
“I am afraid so, your Majesty.” Just then, Eric walks into the room.
“Ah, there you are. Come, have a seat. You must be tired.”
“I’m not tired.” Eric snaps back.
“Well then, come eat some breakfast-”
“I’m not hungry. I have better things to worry about. Grimsby, have any of the boats found anything?”
“Uh, I’m afraid not sir-”
“Then I will go look for her myself-” He turns to walk away before his mother stops him.
“NO! Eric. Your duties lie here. I will not let you look for this fantasy girl that you think is real anymore.” His mother yells.
“And what is that supposed to mean?”
She sighs, “I forbid you from going on another ship. For anything.”
“What- Mother-”
“Enough. You’re not allowed to go on another ship.”
“But I am helping the island. The ship I went on the other day carried very valuable trades. Did you know in other islands they use things we have on our island to cure malaria? We brought those things to those islands and they traded with us.”
“And where is that stuff now?” She raises her eyebrows at him. “At the bottom of the sea.” Eric rolls his eyes and walks the other way, his mother catching up to him. “There have been 7 shipwrecks in the past couple months. The sea gods are against us.”
“You’re wrong.” Eric then turns away and starts running down the staircase that leads to the beach. “All I’ve ever wanted was the open sea and sky, freedom from the life I always knew. I had almost drowned, ‘til you came around and you found me. All I do is wonder who you are and where you’ll be. In my mind, your melody goes on. I will finally find you again. In uncharted waters, come find me again!” Eric sings out towards the shore, hoping the mystery woman emerges from the wild uncharted waters.

full of magic
words: 1,327 ship: austin butler x reader summary: ( @livwholikestv requested) “austin takes the reader to disney world* + proposal  notes: thank you so much for the request sweetheart, i really hope you like it!  warnings: none tag list: @killerqueenfan, @karamelcoveredolicity, @elizabethrosecresswell, @gigisworldsstuff, @stylesmendeshearted, @rairaielv, @guacala
The sun hangs low, turning the entire sky a fluffy pink and lavender purple, almost like cotton candy pieces. You expected the humidity to stay in the air, almost like breathing in swatches of fog, but it’s settled in the later parts of the day. Still present, still sticking to your skin, but manageable as day bleeds into night. Admittedly, you’re willing to put up with whatever weather you have to in order to spend this weekend with Austin—a surprise trip, somewhere he’s been wanting to take you for a while now because you’ve never been.
You feel like it’s been on your list for a long time but at the same time it’s always been just out of reach with nonstop schedules and sometimes not even a moment to breathe before you’re jumping from one project to another.
There’s this realization in the back of your head that if you don’t make time for things like this, it passes you by. You’re always waiting around for that one day where you can set aside responsibilities or get through one last thing on your checklist before it frees you up to enjoy something without concerns. But life isn’t like that, sometimes there are no perfect moments that fall into your lap—you have to figure out how to make your own.
Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.
Passing right under the bridged awning, Magic Kingdom opens up in front of you, giving you a direct line of sight down Main Street to Cinderella’s Castle. Austin’s fingers are laced with yours, leading you into the park but letting you roll to a stop every so often to take everything in. It’s busy but not too much in the sense that it’s overwhelming or uncomfortable, a thrum of people enjoying their vacations with all the magic that a place like this can offer.
You expected to feel…you’re not sure, maybe too grown to be in a place like this, or that things would feel corny, silly, but it’s the exact opposite. You can’t stop yourself from feeling overwhelmed in a good way about the sights around you—the lights, the smells of sweets, the glow that seems to come from inside the shops as you walk past them, the way the castle sits in the distance against the backdrop of the pink sky.
“Are you gonna think I’m totally cliché for wanting a Mickey balloon?” You ask Austin, mostly kidding as you pass by a street vender. They’re the typical ones you’ve seen in advertisements or posts on social media—the clear circular balloon with the colored Mickey shape in the center.
“Nah, that’s a staple.” Austin grins, “I’ll get you one—we’ll snag a popcorn bucket too, think they’re shaped like Dumbo right now.”
You smile, stepping closer so you can wrap your arm around Austin’s, holding onto him as you two stroll down Main Street. “You know me well.”
He chuckles, leaning down to plant a kiss to your forehead, “I would hope so after seven years.”
Kinda hard to imagine that you’ve been dating for that long. Well, you suppose it’s nearer to five, you’ve known Austin for seven years. Your families have always been close, it just took a while to really see that there was something there between you two. A lot of wasted time, a lot of mistakes, but you suppose you can’t regret anything—not since it’s lead you here, quite literally, to a place so full of magic.
And sometimes that’s exactly how it feels to be with Austin: magical.
You’re not sure where you’re headed exactly—you didn’t grab a map because that felt silly, Austin knows where everything is. With your minimal amount of research, you know you want to ride the Tea Cups and the Haunted Mansion, but it doesn’t matter where you start out. From the castle you can either begin walking left towards Adventureland or right towards Tomorrowland. You kinda feel stuck, not sure where you want to go first, nearly tripping over the transit tracks in the cement.
Austin reaches out to steady you with a fond chuckle, “Did you get a good look at the castle?”
You raise your eyebrows, moving to step in front of him so you can. Your nose crinkles a little in confusion, “What, does it change colors or something?” You curl your hair around your ear, staring at the castle…waiting but, you’re not sure what you’re supposed to be looking for. You know that there’s a projection show on the castle later that night but it’s tied into fireworks. So what exactly…
“What am I looking for?” You turn to ask Austin a question but your breath sharply gathers in your chest as you realize that he’s kneeling—
He’s kneeling in front of you and pulling a ring box from his pocket.
“What are you doing?”
A laugh stumbles out of Austin’s chest as he widens his eyes just slightly, gesturing with one of his hands, “Tying my shoe—c’mon, it’s fairly obvious what I’m doin’.”
And you kinda envy how nonchalant he’s being about this when your heart is close to living in your throat, ricocheting against your ribcage as he holds a ring up a little higher, with purpose.
People around you stop and stare, some grabbing their cameras or begin taking videos, others just like to watch. You wonder how often this happens, people purposing at Disney…probably more often than you think. Part of you considers the fact that they might recognize Austin but all these thoughts go right out the window as he begins speaking.
It’s funny almost, how a park full of people suddenly fade into the rearview mirror, disappear in your peripherals, until all there is, is Austin.
He lets out a slow breath, smiling up at you—he seems to take in the moment, absorb it for everything it is. As you watch him, you’re surprised to see a bit of nervousness on the edges of his blue eyes. He has to know what you’re going to say, right? An answer to his question before he even has a chance to ask it?
“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t want to spend every single moment of it with you—so the last thing I’d want to do is waste any more time. Y/N, will you marry me?”
You can’t stop the grin from breaking out on your face, nodding quickly as you take a step towards him, “Are you kidding me?” You laugh, “Of course.”
Austin slips the ring on your finger and wraps his arms around you, picking you up in a half-spinning hug. A laugh leaves your chest, tilting your head down to kiss him, the world swirling back into focus when he sets you down. Some people are clapping, others passing by and actually wishing you both congratulations—you don’t even realize you’ve got tears slipping down your cheeks until Austin is cupping your face, his thumbs brushing over the bone.
Looking down at your hand, you almost don’t believe it, even when you take a long gaze at the diamond sparkling back up at you. A wet laugh leaves your lips, sniffling as you wipe your cheek, “This is definitely a lot better than the Mickey balloon.” You tease, looking up at him.
Austin smirks, leaning down to press another series of kisses to your lips. “Well the popcorn bucket is still to come, so—” He throws back, to which you shake your head with a fond smile and wrap your arms around his waist.
You think about the moment, drawing your fingers along the back of his neck to playfully tug him down into one final kiss, trying to think about how you’re going to tell this story to your friends, family.
What other word can you use to describe it other than magic?

I’ll never let you fall.
Cordelia Goode x Mina Venable x Billie dean Howard x Reader
* Hi guys! I'm sorry it's been so long. I've been really sick. In and out of the hospital and recently had to get a biopsy done and waiting on the results. So I will try to get up some more stories soon. Hope you enjoy this one.*
Mina walks into the cozy house releasing a quiet sigh of relief that the day is done and over. She shrugs off her jacket and drops her Keyes and purse on the table before walking into the living room.
There she finds Billie reading quietly on the couch.
“Hello, darling,” Mina calls out to her.
“Hello. How was your day?”
“Ugh.” the redhead grunts as she takes a seat next to Billie.
“I’m sorry doll. At least you’re home now.” The blonde says softly caressing Mina’s arm.
The redhead hums in agreement leaning into her touch.
“Cordelia is going to be late,” Billie tells her.
“Is she still trying to find a cure for y/n?”
“Yeah…
She’s wasting time. We need to spend whatever we have left with her.”
“Don’t talk like that! She’s not going to die, Billie.”
“You don’t know that Mina! She’s sick and while Cordelia’s efforts to cure her are honorable she’s isolating herself from y/n.”
“I don’t want to talk about this anymore!” Mina says in an annoyed tone as she pulls away from Billie.
Out of the three of them, Mina was still very much in denial about everything.
“Where is she anyway?” she asked looking around the house.
“She’s in the office building the new Lego set I brought her.”
“I don't understand why she's obsessed with a toy for children and why you indulge her,” Mina said rolling her eyes.
“It makes her happy and I won’t deny her any joy.” The blonde says.
“I suppose you’re right.” Mina sighs.
Mina gets up and walks towards the back of the house to the small office down the hall. It’s typically shared by all four of you but since you’ve been sick you’ve been using it primarily to build the Lego sets Billie buys you.
The redhead stops at the doorframe as she watches you silently. It’s only been a couple of months since your diagnosis but your body is already taking a toll. Your skin was lighter almost white compared to its original color. Your body is frail and small and dark circles formed underneath your eyes. For once the redhead actually stopped at looked at you and this caused tears to prick Mina’s eyes.
You noticed her watching you in the corner and decided once you were done to look up. You flash a bright smile her way.
“Hi, Mina.”
“Hello, my love.” She says with a small smile.
“I finished it you want to see?” You asked.
The redhead nods as she walks towards you. She settles behind the chair you’re sitting in as she looks down at your project.
“It’s beautiful what is it?”
“It’s a miniature version of the castle at Disney World. Billie got it for me because she knows how much I love Disney.” You said with a smile.
“What will your next project be?”
“Hmm. I’m not sure.”
“I’m sure you will think of something,” she says kissing the top of your head.
“Are you alright today Mina? You look sad.”
“I’m fine love. Just fine. How about we go cuddle and look for your next project?” she suggested.
“Really?”
She nods.
“Okay!” You smiled getting up to stand next to her. Unfortunately, you got up too quickly causing a sudden but small state of dizziness for yourself.
“Careful my love,” Mina says as she grabs onto you.
“Sorry. Head rush.”
“It’s quite alright dear I would have caught you.”
“I know you'd never let me fall.”
“Never,” she says softly.
You both share a smile and a quiet moment together. You can tell Mina is sad and you're pretty sure you know why. All of your girlfriends have had the same look in their eyes since you've been diagnosed. However, Mina has been the only one to treat you the same as she did before and for that you were grateful.
You smile as you lean in to kiss her lips softly. “I love you, Mina.”
“I love you too little one. Come on let's go cuddle.”

Fulllmetal Alchemist (mostly bhood/manga)
All That Describes a Joyful Heart by anthrop  -- FMA -- 3k words -- Hohenheim & Trisha cook together during a winter storm & they are simply TOO ADORABLE. Features some Xerxian cultural headcanons inspired by Nowruz (Persian New Year) traditions!
And They Were ROOMMATES by Turbulent_Muse -- FMA -- 30k words -- Modern AU in which college student!Ling moves into a haunted house, but since the rent is too good to pass up, he decides to try and befriend the demon. Greedling friendship & adventure fic.
Science for People Who Hate Science by Tierfal -- FMA -- 66k words -- Royed Modern AU, but even if you dislike that ship you might want to give this one a chance; it’s really more of an origfic about two characters losely inspired by Roy & Ed. They run a goofy educational youtube channel and are two dorks in love. Al shows up to make fun of them sometimes. It’s a good time!
The Sleeping Horror of Whiskerford by Eltea -- FMA -- 3.5k words -- another modern AU, in which the gang (Ed, Al, Winry, Riza, Roy, Hughes) plays D&D. Worth it for Ed’s character sheet alone, but overall just a hilarious & fun time.
A Clowder of Cats by Batsutousai -- FMA -- 4k words -- post-canon (a more-or-less canon universe fic for once!), Al settles down and adopts a bunch of cats (AS HE DESERVES)
Teen Wolf
the butt is a gift by lazulisong -- Teen Wolf -- 1.5k words -- Stiles is pinned to the couch by cats. I think this is part of a larger AU but tbh I don’t care: Stiles, cats, relatable dilemmas, what more do I need?
When the Bough Breaks by The Feels Whale (miscellea) -- Teen Wolf -- 12k words -- A bit of a weird one, but sometimes I like my TW fic weird. post-canon-ish/canon-divergence with endgame Sterek; Stiles is on the outs with Derek’s pack until they learn that he’s adopted a baby, and then they’re suddenly all over to dote on her. I actually really mostly liked this for Stiles’ single parent struggles and (platonic) relationship with the baby’s birth mother, the werewolf stuff & romance was cute but mostly incidental.
Misc fandoms
it's a new craze by attheborder -- Good Omens -- 5k words -- Crowley & Aziraphale start an advice podcast
Hot Springs and New Beginnings by CorundumBleu -- Hollow Knight -- 3k words -- in a good ending universe, Quirrel, the Knight, and The Last Stag relax at a hot springs and discuss hopes for the future. I recommend looking through CorundumBleu’s other HK fics as well -- there’s a couple other good fluff fics in there and some most angsty but still amazing stories! (I’m biased: CB is my sister & I helped edit these, but still, I think they’re great!)
Sufficient by atheilen -- The Goblin Emperor -- 2k words -- deaged!Maia; in which everyone and particularly Beshelar shows how much they care for and cherish Maia.
Sick Day by avg (AnxiousEspada) -- The Murderbot Diaries -- 4k words -- Overse & Arada are sick; Ratthi and later Murderbot visit to help them out. “To everyone’s surprise, a feverish Overse is SecUnit approved humor-fuel.” (P.S. if you like this fic consider checking out my sequel to it!)
Thrilling Night! Romantic Adventure at the Video Rental Store! by Masu_Trout --  Undertale -- 2.5k words -- wonderful Outsider POV of an employee at a video rental store who gets the admittedly uncertain priviledge of helping Alphys and Undyne pick out a movie to rent for their date night. I’m still not over the movie they end up picking, OMG.
Gonna add a reblog with BNHA, Natsuyu, Gravity Falls, and maybe some HP recs tomorrow.
Also, if you like these fics and know of more like them, feel free to let me know! I’m always taking fic recs (I’m slow to get around to them but I WILL save your recs for later) :P

The Megumi-Is-10 Incident
General Audiences | Family fluff, Megumi being a little shit
"What do you want for your birthday, Megs?"
"Dunno."
"Books?"
"Nah."
"Toys?"
"I've already got toys."
"Trip? Maybe to the zoo, or the aquarium, or-"
"I don't wanna go anywhere with you."
"You could go with Tsumiki, if you wanted. Or Shoko, or Nanami. Anyone, really."
Megumi seemed to be thinking about it; Gojo did his best not to feel offended. No kid really liked their parents, right?
"Nah," was what Megumi settled on.
"Gumi, we only have a week. I'm begging you, tell me what you want for your birthday."
"Anything's fine."
Gojo sighed. He could feel a migraine coming on.
"Cake? Do you want chocolate or something?"
"Confetti cake."
"Aha! Now we're getting somewhere!" Gojo wracked his brain for any previous mention of confetti cake, only to come up blank. It should be fine, right? Google was free. "Alright, so what presents do you want with your confetti cake?"
"Dunno."
Back to the cycle of doom.
----------- OR: Megumi's turning ten, Gojo searches for the Ultimate Present, and we all wish we were part of the Gojo-Fushiguro house

He could feel a migraine coming on, but if he didn't get an answer now then Megumi wouldn't be getting anything for his birthday, and that was not how the Gojo-Fushiguro house worked.
Gojo was ready to get down on his hands and knees to implore this kid to give him something, anything, to work with. So far he had: 1) confetti cake, 2) dinosaurs, but only when they're pink (?) and not when they're made of plastic, and 3) Tsumiki had to be there. So, in other words, he had nothing. Nothing at all.
"Okay, well, think about it and get back to me, 'kay?"
Megumi nodded, apathetic look never leaving his face. It was almost as if he was trying to tell Gojo to give up and crawl back into his bedroom in defeat.
Well, he'd always liked a challenge.
"What do you think I should get Megumi for his birthday?"
Tsumiki looked a little like she'd been ambushed, but Gojo didn't have time to feel bad. He only had a few days left to get Megumi The Ultimate Birthday Present - and it had to be way better than the one he got last year. (To be fair, last year had been a genuine disaster, when the dude he'd hired to dress like a dinosaur and play with Megumi suddenly burst into tears halfway through Megumi's lecture on why his costume was biologically incorrect.)
"Uhhh...." Tsumiki paused to think. "Stuff for his dogs, maybe?"
"What, like dog toys?"
"Yes? Or beds or something. He's really attached to them."
Okay. That worked, but wasn't really impressive - plus, he didn't want to encourage Megumi to get too attached to the dogs in case they got destroyed later down the line.
"Anything...bigger?"
"Well, he'll like what other kids like, right? Bouncy castle? Slide? Disney princess?"
Gojo tried to imagine Megumi playing on a bouncy castle as Cinderella sang about mice and birds and stuff. It didn't really compute. He could almost see the black cloud of disappointment forming over Megumi's head as Cinderella hit the high note.
"I'll think about. Thanks, Miki."
"No problem."
A bouncy castle could work, if it was dog-claw proof, Gojo supposed. Megumi was less impressed by present worth and more impressed by present usefulness (see the time when he'd stared down a DS, and then reached for the ball of string next to it - a gag gift Gojo bought at the last minute), but a bouncy castle could be passed off as a training thing or something. That way, Gojo could take pictures of Megumi Being A Kid and he would be none the wiser until his 18th, when the photo albums would come out.
A sudden image of Megumi attacking the castle with the bread knife flashed through Gojo's mind.
On second thought, no bouncy castle.
"Why is this so hard?" he complained. Tsumiki shrugged and moved towards her bedroom, silently leaving Gojo to his despair. He considered making a list, Nanami-style, but it would be a pretty useless since he had no ideas. At all. Besides, Megumi, determined to be as unhelpful as possible, had purposely looked out every written memo of Gojo's ideas and written 'don't want it' across them in the wonky letters characteristic of a ten-year-old's handwriting.
At this point, Gojo had Questions for whoever raised that kid.
Oh, wait. He raised him.
Whoops.
It was time, Gojo decided, to call in outside help.
"What do you mean, you don't know what to get him for his birthday?" Shoko's voice echoed through the tinny speakers of Gojo's phone.
"I mean, I don't know what to get him for his birthday."
"Isn't he, like, your son?"
"What? No! He's...my ward, or something."
"And that's not the same thing?"
"The only reason I have him is to train him."
"And that's why you're panicking about what to get him for his birthday?"
"Yeah."
"God, you are so stupid. What do you think he'd like?"
"I don't know?! Everything I've thought of he's said no to!"
"What kind of thing did he get before you had him?"
"What?"
"What did he get for his birthday when he was living with Toji?"
"Oh, uh...nothing, I think, 'cause Toji's a bastard who wouldn't even get his own kid a birthday cake."
"So why's Megumi being so picky?"
"You tell me! I can't understand it! It's not like he has a lot of stuff or a lot of birthdays or anything-"
"For one, he does have a lot of stuff, because you keep buying it. Two, maybe he's just uncomfortable? If he's never had a birthday, then he doesn't want to get his hopes up? Or maybe he doesn't want you to feel like you have to get a lot of stuff? Or-"
"He has had a birthday. Two, in fact. And they were both amazing, in my opinion."
"Didn't he make that dinosaur dude cry?"
"Okay, okay, I get it. Thanks, I guess."
"You aren't welcome. I expect repayment."
"In the form of an invite to Gumi's birthday?" Gojo offered hopefully.
"In the form of alcohol. Now go buy a birthday present or whatever."
Gojo huffed as she hung up, already counting how much money he was set to lose to Shoko's expensive tastes. An invite to Megumi's birthday would have been much easier. And cheaper. And would have made him feel less bad.
"Well, that was useless," he muttered, tempted to throw his phone (still displaying Shoko's icon) across the room in frustration. "What, so he doesn't want too much? Then why'd he mention confetti or whatever it was?"
He was almost ready to just march into Megumi's room and announce you're getting a mansion for your birthday, Megs! just to prove Megumi didn't have to hold back on the presents. Could he afford a mansion? Probably not, especially not at this time of year. That wasn't the point. The point was, if Megumi asked, he could have one. Gojo would find a way.
(Was Megumi really just a ward?)
"Satoru?" a small voice interrupted his thoughts. Gojo turned, spotting Megumi in the doorway.
"Hey, Gumi. Need something?"
"Uh...."
Realising Megumi's head was craned right back to look at him, Gojo crouched down until they were face-to-face. It seemed to ease Megumi a little, who reached out to pull at one of Gojo's long fingers. "I heard your phone call."
"Oh?" Gojo inclined his head. "Any ideas?"
"I mean, I heard you say . . . I'm just here to train."
Ah.
"Oh, Megs, you know you live here. This is your home now."
"What about when you aren't training me anymore?"
"Megumi, when you are old and you go to Jujutsu Tech and you move into the dorms and make friends, you can still come hang out with me-"
"I don't mean that! You- you'll be far away then. You won't be my- my dad anymore."
Gojo's chest hurt. It was true, his legal guardianship of Megumi would terminate when Megumi passed into the Principal's hands, but Megumi didn't know that. Megumi was talking in emotional terms, and Gojo had had no idea this entire time.
"No, no, it's not like that. If you really-" he took a deep breath. "If you really see me as your- dad, then that's what I'll always be. Pinky promise."
"Pinky promise?" Megumi turned Gojo's hand to link their pinkies.
"Yeah. Pinky promise."
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIIIRTHDAY DEAR MEGUMIIIIIIII~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOOOOU!"
"Shut up," Megumi grouched, the tips of his ears turning red. Gojo cackled.
"Oh, come on, Gumi! It's your birthday! The big one-zero~"
"It's not that big of a deal." Megumi clambered into his seat at the dinner table, eyeing the single present with suspicion. "What's this? It's not a bomb, is it?"
"You ever seen a bomb shaped like this?" Gojo argued, waving the flat package at him. "Come onnnn, open itttttt-"
"I will, I will!"
Megumi started undoing the sellotape excruciatingly slowly, probably just to spite Gojo, who liked to rip the paper off fast.
"Come on, Gumi! We don't have all day!"
"It's Saturday. We do have all day."
"And you want to spend it all opening one present? You're not gonna have any time for Tsumiki's!"
Helpfully, Tsumiki rattled the box she was holding.
"Okay, okay," Megumi relented, ripping the paper a little so he could slide the present out. "What's this?" he added, staring at the pile of papers he'd unwrapped.
"Read it," Tsumiki encouraged.
"Megumi Fushiguro," Megumi read slowly. "Legal....what?"
Gojo nodded patiently and pointed to the next word. "Can you read that? It's quite difficult."
"I can," Megumi insisted. "Adop....shun.... papers. What are these?"
"Read it again."
Megumi's eyes scanned the page again, carefully sounding everything out under his breath. "Adoption?!" he breathed, eyes shining. "You're gonna be my dad?!"
"I already am, Megs, but this makes it all legal and stuff. You just have to write your name in the space, there."
"I don't have a pen!" Megumi panicked, snapping his head frantically to look at Tsumiki. "I can't sign it!"
"It's okay, Megumi," she comforted. "I have one."
Megumi grabbed it, turning back to the papers. Gojo pointed to the dotted line.
"Here, Megs."
Megumi started tracing his name, letters beginning to tilt slightly but otherwise undeniably his most careful handwriting. As he dotted the last i, Gojo popped confetti aggressively in his face.
"Congrats, Megumi! You are now a Gojo!"
"Ew," Megumi commented, but his smile gave him away. "Can I have cake now?"
"Of course, Gumi. Anything you want."

HEY! Rosa answered and debunked a lot of Life and Times things
Deadass talked to him for like 4 hours lmao but I got most of my questions answered! This is gonna be only the fact part of my talks with Rosa, I'll post the more personal interactions in another post.
Ok so number 1 is MOLLY WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A CHILD LMAOOOO. She was still very young (early 20s) and died fairly young as well, but Rosa said he just wanted to portray an overworked miner and mother. AND I THINK HE SAW MY POST FROM JUNE LMAO. He said 'A few months ago I saw someone post how Molly looks like a child and why does she look like a child! But no no no that's not what I intended at all! I don't know why other prints of the family tree make her look like a child! This is the most accurate one.' (he points to the one where Molly is older looking and has Ludwig in it was well.)
Number 2 is what happened to Hortense and Della? Apparently Della was always missing to him. He didn't clarify how exactly she was missing, but she just went missing. Hortense on the other hand, he had more details. Originally in his mind, Hortense was alive and well! She was hiding and only Matilda knew. Rosa was originally going to do a sequel to 'The Castle's Secret' where Matilda reveals that they should go reunite with Hortense.
Rosa got as far as creating a general script and some doodles but then Disney and his editors came up to him and said that he wasn't allowed to include any of the Sensational Six's parents. So treat her as if she died. So that's just what Rosa did, so yes Hortense is dead in the Life and Times.
Number 3: Would Scrooge have settled down and make Dawson his home base instead of Duckburg? Rosa actually laughed at this one cause he had never thought of it before. His first answer was that he wasn't really sure! But regarding a family and stuff, he wasn't sure either so he just said 'maybe? Who knows what would have happened.' AND BOY IS MAYBE GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME LMAO
But he did go into the whole Scrooge faking his death to go and marry Goldie, move back into the cabin, and live the rest of his days with her. Which actually he was going to get that published as well! But Disney immediately said a cold hard 'no'
Not really a number but, ROSA DOESN'T HATE DUCKTALES!!! This is the one that surprised me a bit! He laughed and asked why does everybody think he hates Ducktales! He said DT87 was one of the best shows of the 80s and DT17 is just...interesting and a bit weird to him.
The difference is he doesn't like how the shows were executed. He said the shows really dumbed down the lessons of the comics. But for little kids, yeah it's a good show. He thinks DT doesn't do a very good at portraying everything the comics were able to convey. He doesn't like watching the show, and hasn't watched it all the way through, but he doesn't hate DT.
Also he actually gets excited when people tell him that they discovered his books through Ducktales! Because they're still managing to find and actually taking the time to read the Carl Barks comics and the Don Rosa comics.
Goldie's eye color. Now this one was interesting to me. I brought up how Goldie's eyes constantly change between blue and green. Apparently Rosa intended for her to always have blue! 'She's supposed to be this beautiful woman, so I had to give her those shining blue eyes. But Carl Barks gave her green eyes so it's always changed. I don't control the colonization of the comics.'
What happened to the chilis? So many Don Rosa fans will know that at conventions, Rosa usually brings a basket of chilis for people to eat. But the last few times he hasn't brought them. Apparently it's because in Europe he found out he could get in huge legal trouble for it, and in the US, people would touch the chilis and not eat them. So Rosa just didn't wanna deal with the hassle of that anymore.
I'm sure we talked about more regarding TLAT but I don't remember at the moment, I'll add on if I remember again 😅

Ice, Ice Baby
Yeeeeaaaahhh It’s Blacktober and although I am...14 days late! I have blacktober content! less go
L x Black!Reader
Y/N tapped their foot impatiently. In front of them, L sat crouched on the ground, a multitude of movies in front of him. Y/N shook their head, their bonnet moving as it sat perched carefully on their head. They shuffled toward L in their slippers, making a show of sitting next to him.
“Have you picked out what you wanna watch yet?” Y/N asked.
L was silent; his thumb and forefinger picking at his lower lip in thought. Y/N watched his dark eyes scan each movie, scrutinizing every detail on the cover.
“I still don’t see the merit in this activity,” L said.
“Ryuzaki, it’s fun! Let’s just relax and turn our brains off for a moment, yeah?” Y/N nudged L’s shoulder. L’s eyes shot over to Y/N before he sighed and flung a random movie at Y/N. Y/N caught the case and looked down at the title: Frozen.
“Are you absolutely sure, Ryuzaki?”
“The title art is interesting. The iterating patterns are called fractals. If my thought process is correct, maybe there will be more well researched art in the film,” Ryuzaki said from his seat on the floor. Y/N crinkled their nose and shrugged.
“Welp, hop up on the couch. I’ll pop this into the TV,” Y/N said. L obeyed, climbing up from the floor and perching himself carefully on the couch. Y/N watched the movie’s logo illuminating the screen. They stood up straight and made their way to the couch, settling in next to L.
The next ten minutes were a disaster.
“I don’t possibly understand why Elsa thought she could escape in the first place. The village was fully armed and staffed and she was just coronated as queen. Of course, they’d find her.”
“Ryuzaki,” Y/N began.
“She was only about a day’s walk from her home. In a giant ice castle. What did she expect? Especially after destroying the climate of her home in the middle of summer. It doesn’t make any sense.”
“Ryuzaki…”
“Is it normal for trolls to be the keepers of magic in this universe? If so, why are we all so concerned about the queen having magical powers? Also, where was Elsa supposed to get food? What was her plan?”
“L!” Y/N shouted.
L turned slowly to Y/N, biting his thumbnail in thought. Y/N snorted at his appearance: L’s brows were furrowed in concentration, and his bottom lip was stark white with the pressure on it from his thumb.
“Yes? What is it?” he asked.
“It’s just a movie!” Y/N said in exasperation. “It’s just supposed to be fun. Nothing to get worked up over.”
“I don’t see the merit in something that doesn’t make any logical sense.”
“It’s a Disney movie, Ryuzaki,” Y/N said.
“Even so, a chain of events in a film should make sense logically. The physics of the snow and ice is near flawless, so why can’t the motives of the characters make sense as well?”
Y/N giggled as the space in between L’s eyes wrinkled again.
“I think you’re looking too much into it. I’m sorry you’re not enjoying the movie,” Y/N said. They reached out, plucking L’s hand from his mouth. L looked down at their connected hands, pondering the contrast in in skin tone, before shrugging.
“On the contrary, I think the fallacies in logic are stimulating. They might help on a future case, you never know. Unpause the film, please,” L said, turning back to the screen.
Y/N shook their head again, taking up the remote and pressing ‘play’.

Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8
Tumblr media
Yoongi POV:
As soon as the words left Y/N’s mouth, my eyes widened and my grip on her hand tightened. This was not going to be good. For all I knew, they could yell at her and make her feel like she was unwanted, which is completely untrue.
“Jungkookie, take Y/N to the food place and get yourselves something to eat.” I said, making Jungkook frown at me in confusion. “If it is them, I don’t want her getting hurt by any argument that might happen.” I explained. “Now go and get some food, and I will meet you both there later.” I kissed Y/N’s forehead and Jungkook’s cheek before watching them walk off hand in hand. I let out a breath and readied myself for the confrontation, knowing that there was going to be arguing that we may not be able to come back from.
Jimin was pouting slightly. “Pretty boy, what’s wrong?” I asked.
“I hate all of this fighting.” Jimin admitted. “I just want all of us to go back to normal... Or as normal as we can be.”
“Well, we just need to talk to them and see if we can sort out this mess.” Jin said, rubbing Jimin’s back. “So let’s go talk.”
We approached them slowly. They didn’t realise we were behind them until I cleared my throat.
The three of them turned around, eyes wide. It was then I realised Taehyung looked awful. He had bags under his eyes that were still visible under the concealer and his lips were drawn in a small permanent pout. Whatever was going on between us had to be sorted now.
“Hyung, w-what are you doing here?” Jimin asked, playing with his fingers as he attempted to try and start the much-needed conversation.
“Fuck, Yoongi hyung, I am so sorry.” Namjoon said, looking down at his shoes in shame. “I should have never kicked you out of the dorm. I should have let you explain and let you make the decisions. I never wanted to make you feel unloved and unwanted by us, or to make our whole dynamic awkward.”
“And I should have stood up for you and said something against what Namjoon said. Fuck, hyung, I should have come to you the second I knew something was wrong and we had upset you.” Hoseok apologised, his eyes wide and pleading. I bit my lip, my eyes sliding towards Taehyung who was trembling, his eyes filling with tears.
“Hyung, we’re so sorry-” Namjoon started to speak again.
“Just shut up you two and come here!” I allowed them to come towards me and I leaned up and kissed them both. “I accept your apologies, but I don’t fully forgive you yet. I’m just going to need some time. What you said really hurt me.” I said.
“Of course, hyung. Of course. Take your time.” Hoseok said, hugging me again. He released me, going over to Jimin, who still looked unsure. “Hey baby boy.” He said, making Jimin let out a small sob and jump into his arms. Hoseok sighed in relief and held him close, his face buried in his hair.
Namjoon was embracing Jin, leaving Taehyung stood there, looking unsure of what to do.
“Taehyung, let’s go somewhere else to talk, okay?” I said, extending my hand for him to take. He gingerly reached out and took it, allowing me to lead him to a more private place.
We ended up at the food courts. I led us over to a small cafe and stopped just outside. I sat him down in a chair and sat down opposite him. “Why do you look so sad?” I asked.
“I’m a horrible, disgusting person. That’s why.” Taehyung said, not making eye contact with me.
“Taehyung...” I reached over and grabbed hold of his hand. “You said some things that were hurtful and not nice but you will never, ever be a disgusting or horrible person.”
“Yes I am, hyung! I told you to reject your soulmate, knowing full well how much pain it would cause both you and her.” He said. “I didn’t give you a chance to explain what you were going to do, and what your plan was, and I’m sure if I had, I would have heard that you had planned to do something that made both parties happy. And to make matters worse, I lost my soulmate. After I saw you both in the mall, I could suddenly see colour. Me, Joonie hyung and Hobi hyung could.”
“Tae, you know that someone can have multiple soulmates, right?” I said, making him cock his head to the side, tears dripping down his face. “That’s what happened with me, Y/N, Jiminie, Kookie and Jin. It happens when people are very close.”
“So, me, Joonie hyung and Hobi hyung could be her soulmates as well?” Taehyung asked, his voice small.
“Yes, Tae baby. We are all soulmates with her.” I said, making him slowly smile and sniffle slightly.
“I missed you calling me that.” He whispered. “I missed you so much, hyungie, I’m so sorry for what I said to you.”
“Baby, come here.” I stood up and opened my arms, allowing him to run into them.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” He said over and over again.
“Shh, baby, it’s okay.” I said, stroking his back. “It’s okay, don’t cry.”
“It’s not okay. I was jealous.” He said, his head resting against my shoulder. “I didn’t want to lose you or have less of your time.”
“Taehyung baby boy, you were my first, you are so important to me. You’re never going to lose me.” I held him away from me for a second to look at him. “You’re so beautiful.” I said, stroking his cheek. He leaned into the gesture. “My beautiful baby boy.” I leaned forward to kiss him gently. He made a noise as our lips connected, sounding like a needy whine.
As I pulled away, I wiped away his tears. “I want to apologise to Y/N.” He said. “And I want to meet her properly and let her know that I don’t hate her.”
Y/N POV:
I sighed as I stirred the straw around my empty milkshake glass, my head resting in my hand. I stared over at Jungkook, who was sat opposite me, looking equally as bored.
“Do we have to stay here?” I asked, making him look at me slightly confused. “Like we’re at Disney, let’s go on some rides. I don’t want to be stuck in a restaurant all day.”
“I don’t know, gorgeous. They might get annoyed.” Jungkook looked unsure.
“We’ll be fine, Koo.” I got up and tugged on his hand. “Please.” He still looked unsure. “Please, oppa, I will give you lots of cuddles when we get back.” I said, doing an aegyo. He chuckled.
“Okay, fine. Fine.” He allowed me to pull him up from the table. “I’ll text Jimin hyung and tell him what we are doing.” He pulled out his phone and typed out a quick text before pocketing his phone and grabbing hold of my hand. “Where to first?”
It was then I got a sneaky prank idea to pull on Yoongi, Jin and Jimin oppas. “Let’s start from right at the back of the park and ride every ride there and take our time. But don’t tell them where we are going exactly. Let’s prank them.”
Much to my surprise, a cheeky smile flooded Jungkook’s face. “That sounds like a great plan!” He said. “Let’s go!”
After we had been on a few of the rides in the Magic Kingdom, Jungkook led me to the Cinderella castle and sat down on a bench, pulling me down beside him. The sun was beginning to set, the light reflecting off his necklace that was settled just under his collar bone, between the tips of his pectorals, that were exposed from his half-buttoned shirt.
“Are you having fun?” He asked, cupping the side of my face in his hand and stroking my cheek. I smiled gently as his soft, brown doe eyes made a comfortable contact with mine.
“Yes, thank you.” I said, my voice barely a whisper.
“Good.” He said, his thumb brushing over my cheekbone. I leaned into the gesture, his hand supporting the weight of my head. “You look so pretty in the sunlight.” He took hold of my hand and pulled me up. “I’ve always wanted to do this.” He set up his phone and stood us in front of the castle. He leaned down and brushed his lips against mine before kissing me gently.
“Kookie.” I breathed as he pulled away, resting our foreheads together. My stomach felt weird, like there was a nest of butterflies living there. I cleared my throat, pulling away from him slightly, not liking the unfamiliar feeling. He frowned at me, trying to decipher what was going on with me.
“What’s wrong, carrot?” He asked, making me raise an eyebrow at the nickname.
“Nothing’s wrong. Just worried about the others.” I replied. They had been gone a long time and I knew it wasn’t because they were looking for us; they would have called us if they couldn’t find us.
“Yeah, they haven’t tried to find us. Maybe they have forgotten about us?” Jungkook shrugged.
I hummed. “What was that nickname before?” I asked him.
“I don’t know. I just wanted to call you that, because hyungs call me bunny, and bunny’s like to eat carrots, and I like to eat you out so...” My cheeks flushed red as I thought back to how he had woken me up that morning, with his head buried between my legs and his tongue inside me. He chuckled when he saw my expression. “Aww is my little carrot embarrassed?” He teased, making me slap his chest playfully. He looked at me in surprise, making me giggle.
“You look like a lost bunny.” I commented, making him laugh. I looked around for a second. “You know what I am really craving? A churro.”
“Me too.” Jungkook rubbed his stomach. “Shall we go back and get some food, we haven’t really had lunch.”
“Mhm.” I agreed. “Don’t forget your phone.” I reminded him. He grabbed it and smiled at the screen.
“We’re cute.” He said, showing me the picture of us kissing in front of the castle. “We might be the cutest pair.” I giggled and kissed his cheek before holding his hand as we walked back to the food court.
Jimin POV:
Yoongi hyung was in a state of panic. We had all met up at the food court, but Y/N and Jungkook were nowhere to be found. Yoongi had tried calling them both, but neither of them had replied.
“Where could they have gone?” Yoongi sat down on one of the chairs, pulling at his hair in frustration. I knew why he was so worried - Y/N’s abusive ex could have found out where she was and taken her, hurting Jungkook in the process.
“Maybe try calling them again?” Namjoon suggested. Yoongi opened his phone and called Jungkook again, but it went straight through to voicemail. I bit my lip as I checked my phone to see if I had any messages from either of the youngest ones.
“Ah hyung!” I said, waving my phone around. “Jungkookie texted me about an hour ago. He and Y/N have gone on some rides because princess was bored.” I said, reading the message aloud.
“Did he say where?” Yoongi asked. I scanned the message again and shook my head. “Of course he wouldn’t.” He rolled his eyes and tried Y/N again. Still no answer. “Well, at least we know they are safe...” He blew some air out through his mouth. “I’m going to go and find them.” He said.
“I’ll come with you.” I volunteered, standing up and taking hold of his hand. Yoongi nodded and together we walked out of the food area to try and find the missing two.
We didn’t have to go very far as we found them walking together, hand in hand, laughing with each other. They froze when they saw us, knowing that they were in trouble from the look on Yoongi’s face.
“And what do you two think you have been doing?” He asked, his voice deep and dangerously calm.
“Going on rides...” Jungkook said slowly, knowing that he was going to get punished for this. Y/N looked between the two of them, her throat bobbing as she swallowed.
“And what is the rule about answering your phones?” Yoongi folded his arms across his chest.
“Always answer them when they ring, but hyung, our phones didn’t ring, so I really don’t understand why you are so mad.” Jungkook said, shrugging.
“You don’t understand why...” Yoongi scoffed. “Both of you take out your phones now and check them.” They both did it, shaking their heads.
“No calls from you to either of us.” Y/N replied. “Oppa, really, I don’t understand what’s going on.”
“Yoongi hyung has been calling you for the past hour.” I replied, making her frown at her phone.
“Then there is something wrong with my phone.” She said. “I have signal, I’m connected to the park wifi, but it’s not picking up your calls or texts...” She frowned as she tapped the screen a few times. “Or your contact...” She tapped and scrolled a few more times before she started shaking her head and murmuring no under her breath.
“Princess, what’s wrong?” I asked, rushing to her side. I saw that it was open on a contact who had sent a picture of her getting buckled into a ride. She was smiling and the sun was giving a golden hue to her skin. She looked beautiful. But I knew it wasn’t Jungkook who had taken the picture because I could see his hand on her thigh.
“What’s going on?” Yoongi asked, walking over to us. “What the hell? Who is this?” He looked at Y/N, his eyes softening once he saw how traumatized she looked.
“It’s my ex.” She said, her voice shaking. Yoongi’s jaw set in anger. “I think he was here in the park. Yoongi he has my number and my location. I’m scared.”
Yoongi wrapped an arm around her waist protectively. He turned off her phone’s location and blocked the number. “Jimin, go tell the others that we will meet them back at my apartment. We’ll talk to them there. Jungkook go with him, make sure he’s okay.” As Jungkook and I walked away, I heard Yoongi talking to Y/N to comfort her. “I promise you, jagiya, no one is ever going to hurt you again, I promise. Not while I’m around.”

A/n: I didn’t pick a specific princess, so everyone can feel included :)) feel free to imagine whichever one lol, go wild!
Tumblr media
“Are you sure you don’t want me to pick you up?”, he asked, leaving a trail of kisses on your neck.
You scratched at his scalp, smiling down at him. “I get what you’re trying to do”, you chuckle.
“What? Bull-shit! Me, a secret agenda?”, he jested, lying his absolute ass off.
“You jerk! Pretending to care about my safety huh?”, you continued to taunt.
He poked your sides, burying his scruff in your neck. “Can you blame me? You work in ‘entertainment’ that could literally be anything, I just want to knowwww”, he whined.
“Patience, my dear, is the greatest virtue of all. Now unhand me, I have entertainment business to attend tomorrow.”
He pouted, tightening his strong arms around you. “Why can’t you just stay the night, princesa?”
“Because I have a lot of getting ready to do”, you answered, wiggling out of his iron grip.
“Alright, alright, fair enough, but let me come see you after”, he bargained, handing you your shirt off the floor.
You put it on, standing up to button your jeans. “I’ll text you, okay? I love you Frankie.”
He kissed you goodnight, walking you to your car and waving as you drive past. Luckily he had something to preoccupy his mind tomorrow, it was one of Redfly’s girls’ birthday. Tom had invited all the guys to help him out, a bunch of seven year-olds not exactly something he was equipped for.
The two of you had been dating for about half a year now, though you’d only gone public in your fourth month. Frankie had introduced you to some of the guys already, Redly and Ironhead being the ones you had yet to meet. So when you got an e-mail seeing if you could attend a seven year-old’s birthday tomorrow as a Disney princess. The one big mystery had been your job, you’d roughly told Frankie what you did without ever telling him what you did. It had been a big deal to you, some of your exes either breaking up over it or being really creepy about it. Everything had gone so smoothly with Frankie, as if it was always meant to be, and the longer you were dating, the more the talk about your job stressed you out.
The next morning you were up early, showering while trying to think of a way to tell Frankie. Too bad you weren’t allowed to drink on the job, you could use a shot for courage right about now, at ten am in the morning. Getting out of the shower you made your way to your wardrobe, pulling out the drycleaner’s bag with your dress for the day. You put on all the layers, trotting back to the bathroom to do your make-up and put on that damned wig. They really didn’t pay you enough for this, more than once had you nearly passed out from the heat, the wig and excessive uniform nothing short of restricting and suffocating in summer.
You sat down in the kitchen, eating a quick lunch and checking up on your work e-mails before heading off. The drive was supposed to be just under two hours, so you had time to rehearse your little act in the car, singing along to the karaoke version of the assigned princess’ song. You loved it though, seeing those kids’ faces light up as you walked into the room, tugging on the skirt of your dress, singing along with you. It was a very fulfilling job, but a tough industry nonetheless, more than once had a father taken you aside, asking you if you did anything else on the side. It was downright inappropriate and having to walk it off and smile hadn’t always proved easy. You had a good feeling about today though, humming along to the music as you drove, waving at kids and parents in passing.
As per usual you parked a couple houses down the road, not wanting to blow your cover of being a mundane girl rather than a glorified princess. You texted the father of the kid, communicating that you were ready to go. He texted you the OK, telling you to just come around the back. You took a deep breath, putting on your trademark smile as you opened the fence, walking into the garden.
“Look kids, the princess is here!”, somebody announced.
About a dozen of little heads turned your way, some squealing and screaming went along with it, as per usual. You waved excitedly, making a reverence to the birthday girl.
“Tessa! Happy birthday darling!”, you cooed, engulfing the little girl in a hug.
Some of the kids gathered around you, immediately starting the crossfire of interrogation, asking where your prince was, if the other princesses would be coming too, where your castle was, and so on and on. You answered each and every one of their questions, giggling and chuckling as they grew more and more excited.
Frankie was in the kitchen when you arrived, flipping pancakes with Santiago. “Think the princess is here”, he sighed.
“Think she’s hot?”, Pope asked.
“Hope not, Benny won’t be able to keep his hands off”, he chuckled.
Will walked in with some empty bottles. “Those kids are gonna sleep well tonight.”
“Ironhead”, Santi called, “she hot?”
He wolf-whistled, fervently nodding. “Drop-dead-gorgeous is what she is! Go have a look, I’ll take over.”
The two of them went outside with some new bottles of soda and water, setting them down on the table before looking in the direction of all the commotion. Frankie was sipping on some coke as he followed Santi, nearly choking on his drink as he spotted you.
“No way, Fish!”, Santi laughed, doubling over in his enthusiasm.
“That your girl?”, Tom asked with a confused look on his face.
He was rendered speechless, just slowly nodding as he looked at you. This was your “entertainment” job you refused to tell him about? So you weren’t like a private dancer? Just a.. princess for hire? He didn’t know whether to be relieved or not, feeling bewildered more than anything. When the initial shock settled he could actually take a good look at you. Will was right, you did look gorgeous, beaming like that. The dress was beautiful too, making you look regal, if not divine. It was a sight Frankie could get used to, you were adorable. You looked up from where you were crouched, talking to some kid and locked eyes with him.
A fucking deer in headlights. You felt your heart drop, blood rushing to your face. You cleared your throat, trying to regain your composure, not wanting any of the kids to suspect anything was off. But fuck, this wasn’t the plan at all.
He disappeared back into the kitchen, a mischievous smirk plastered on his face. At least Benny would keep his hands off. Will clasped his shoulder, grinning wickedly. “Goddamn Fish, you got yourself a whole princess, huh?”
Normally you felt rather comfortable in your role, singing and dancing for and with the kids as they please, but now, knowing that your boyfriend was here.. it was gonna be a long two hours. Everything was fine until Tessa tugged on your corset, beckoning you to bend down a little.
“Yes, dear?”, you asked.
“My uncles are staring at you”, she whispered, “maybe you should dance with them.”
Your lips curled up involuntarily, your bashfulness gaining the upper hand. “Is that what you really want, Tessa?”
The little girl nodded, twisting some of your locks around her tiny finger. “But uncle Frankie has a girlfriend, so you can’t dance with him”, she explained.
“Of course, that would not be very ladylike”, you assured her, placing a hand on her shoulder, “Your pick, love.”
She hauled you over to Santiago of all guys, giggling as she ran away, leaving the two of you just awkwardly standing there. “Tessa wants us to dance”, you sighed, picking at your fingers.
“Did she now?”, he humoured, “Well who am I to turn a princess down.”
He extended his hand, motioning for you to take it. And so you did. The two of you walked back over to the improvised dance floor. Everyone’s eyes were on you now, as Santiago placed a hand on your waist, the other one holding onto your palm. It was one simple waltz, where he learned this you didn’t know, but as you spun around you caught a glimpse of your surroundings. All the way in the back stood Frankie, leaning against a doorpost.
“Don’t worry about him, he can take it”, Pope soothed you, circling around once more.
You twirled out of his grasp, only to come back in four counts later. “I just feel bad that I didn’t tell him.”
“He’ll understand, but for now, let’s annoy him a bit more.”
You couldn’t help but huff out a laugh at this, nodding before you devoted all your attention to the dance again. At the end you curtsied, as did he, pressing a tender kiss to your palm. You saw Frankie shift in the corner of your eye, Benny already making his way over to you.
“Got one more for me?”, he asked, clearly wanting to play along.
You made another reverence, accepting yet again. “How pissed is he gonna be?”, you questioned as he laid his hands on you.
“Fuming”, Benny chuckled, starting to sway along to the music.
It became clear that he was an inexperienced dancer when he stepped on your toes for the fourth time. You just smiled at him, despite wanting to curse him out. He wasn’t doing it on purpose though, offering a mumbled apology each time it happened. That was until he stepped on your foot mid, twirl, making you bend it at an awkward angle. You heard somewhat of a crack before losing your balance. Because he was so close he had no issue steadying you.
“I think I just sprained my ankle”, you whispered, smile faltering due to your discomfort.
“Can you stand on it?”
You get tried to put some more weight on it, nearly falling in your attempt. Benny caught you yet again, putting your arm around his shoulder, guiding you towards one of the chairs.
Frankie was by your side before you could so much as blink, crouching down next to your chair. “Everything alright?”
“Her ankle’s fu- not good”, Benny informed him, grabbing the nearest bottle of water.
“We should take this inside, away from the kids”, you whispered, noticing the little heads turned in your direction.
Frankie nodded, sliding an arm under the backs of your knees, swiftly picking you up. He carried you into the house without a word, setting you down on the couch. You bent over to slide your heel off, whining at the sensitivity.
“What happened out there?”, he asked from the kitchen.
You lifted your skirt to get a good look. “He stepped on my foot and I bent it.”
“Shit – think it’s broken?” He knelt down again, resting your foot on his thigh as he carefully laid some ice on it.
You flinched at the touch, pursing your lips as you nodded rather frantically. “Yep, yep, yep. That’s never a good sign.”
“Okay, I’m taking you to the ER, c’mon”, he announced, once again picking you up. “I know my truck is no carriage but..”
You playfully hit his shoulder. “Don’t you dare make fun of me now.”
He sat with you the entire time you were in the ER. Since you weren’t injured that badly you mostly were just stuck in the waiting room, in pure agony. You got some strange looks in your dress, but you’d abandoned the wig and corset. Frankie stuck by your side the entire time, kissing you forehead and holding your hand when he felt like it.
“I think you’re up, princesa”, he murmured, pointing towards the doctor approaching you.
You had indeed fractured your ankle. The x-rays proved as much, a clean break on the bone. The doctor gave you some advice as to how to treat it and what not to do and left you in a small room with Frankie, waiting for a nurse to come apply your cast.
“Are you mad?”, you asked quietly.
He quirked a brow at you, trying to read you. “What?”
“Well.. the dancing and just not telling you and-“
He kissed you, shushing you with his mouth. “Honey, you were doing your job and the guys were just playing around. Why would I be mad?”
“It’s just that.. well in the past my job has.. you know, put an end to things…”, you said with a trembling lip.
He cupped your face, making you look up at him. “I don’t care about what you do for a living, baby, princess or not, you’ll always be my princesa.”
You blinked away a few tears, leaning back in to close the gap once again. “I love you so much, Frankie.”
“Te quiero mucho, mi amor. But.. you do owe me a dance.”

Hi there.... I know its been an absolute age and a half but I finally wrote your request!  I'm so sorry it took so long, but I hope you enjoy @k4jdesu
It was that time of the year again, the yearly Lord’s movie day.  Moreau decided that it would be a great idea for family bonding, and so he would have someone to enjoy his favorite films with.  Alcina vehemently refused to spend time in the reservoir, but at the dejected look on Sal’s face, she reluctantly said that they could use her opera room as a makeshift theater.  That had been years ago, now she was just as excited for the day as Moreau, even if she never let anyone know.
“Alright friends, I brought a bunch of Disney films for today!  We need something fun and lighthearted!” Sal said hobbling into the opera room arms full of tapes and DVDs.  Alcina stepped over to him and lightened his load.
“I do hope you have some of the classics, they are clearly superior to anything these new age ‘animators’ could come up with.” She says placing the movies down next to the projector set up.
“Oh yeah of course you’d say that!  Just because you saw it at the ‘picture show’ doesn’t mean they are the best.  Not everyone likes those sappy princess movies. We have to watch one of the live action movies like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or the Davy Crocket movies.” Heisenberg argued back relaxing into one of the chairs.  They continued to argue over the validity of their movie choices.
While they argued, Donna moved silently next to Sal, “Could we watch a musical?  I always loved those.” She asked meekly.  Sal thought for a few seconds before snapping his fingers and pushing Alcina away from the stack of films.
“This is the perfect film for everyone!  It fits everyone’s desires and its amazing!” Sal proclaimed holding up a tape.  The three other Lords looked closely at the cover.
“Mary Poppins?” Alcina questioned, “I haven’t heard of it, but I have no objections to this pick.”
“Yeah, same here at least it isn’t some ridiculous princess cartoon.  Looks interesting, great pick Sal.” Heisenberg agreed.
Donna simply nodded her agreement with his choice and took a seat removing her veil so she could see better. Sal beamed at the others and did a small happy dance placing the film in the player and settling in to watch the film with his family.
After the film was done, Sal cautiously looked around at his siblings to judge their reactions.  All of them had happy faces.
“That was quite a good choice Salvatore.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.”  Alcina said smiling at him and patting him on the head.
“For once the big lady and I agree, great choice.” Heisenberg said standing and stretching his back before grasping Sal’s shoulder and leaving for home.
Donna moved to hug Sal, “Thank you, it was amazing.” She whispered to him, leaving the room with a bow back to her hostess.
Sal was ecstatic that his family loved his movie, he bounced happily as he collected his films. Alcina handed him a basket for him to carry them with, “so they don’t get damaged.  Also, would you mind if I kept Mary Poppins for a short time?  I’d love to show my girls.”
Sal shook his head furiously, “Of course not! I would love for you to show the girls!  I hope they enjoy it; this is one of my favorites.”
Alcina chuckled at his enthusiasm, “Thank you Salvatore.  I’ll be sure to take good care of it for you.”
Sal skipped out of the castle and back to his reservoir happier than he has been in a very long time.

Could you possibly write some dark Bucky Barnes ? Maybe the reader is super innocent and he takes advantage of it?
party princess | bucky barnes
[Warnings] dark bucky barnes x innocent reader, natasha x reader (sort of), nanny reader, manipulation, affair, drunk consent (dubcon?), little editing
A/N: I’m gonna be honest and say that I basically DNF’d this one-shot after working on it for awhile. I liked the idea at first but then towards the middle my interests in it got a little iffy. anyways, I hope you can still enjoy it for what it is. I’ll def try to write more stories like this in the future!
In which married Bucky takes advantage of the birthday party princess.
word count: 2.5k
“Okay, let’s see, who wants to have their wish granted?”
The crowd of first graders erupted but you quickly held up your hands to shush them, “Before I can use my magic on any of my little friends, I have to make sure you’re all good little girls and boys. How many of you are kind to your friends and listen to your Mommies and Daddies?”
Hands raised and you smiled, “That’s very good, my friends. If you want to be a princess like me or a prince, then are certain things you have to do. Princess’s are polite, kind, and most important of all …” A hush fell over the crowd as they listened patiently before you suddenly exploded with giddiness, “They like to sing and dance! Will you sing a song with me, friends?”
Bucky watched from behind the glass door as you twirled around on the terrace. He sipped at his bottle of beer, noting how your eyes lit up as the group of children gather around you. They wanted to touch your ball gown and have you tap them with your fairy wand so you could grant their wishes. You seemed to be in your element and you hadn’t fallen out of character once as you pranced around in your fairy princess costume. It was a character from the latest Disney junior show that his daughter had recently fallen in love with and Natasha had the idea of hiring a party princess for her fifth birthday party.
Both Natasha and Bucky were surprised when you volunteered to do it. You loved makeup and the idea of making their daughter’s birthday spectacular seemed like fun. Besides, you had only been nannying with the Barnes family for a couple of weeks and you wanted to make even more of a good impression.
“I’m starting to think she actually has magic,” Natasha commented, and Bucky turned to see her placing candles on their daughter’s birthday cake, “I can barely handle our baby girl alone and yet she’s tamed fifteen of them.”
“She’s really something, isn’t she?” Bucky smirked and Natasha grinned, lighting the candles.
“Keep it in your pants for now,” Natasha stated slyly, “C’mon Daddy, let’s sing happy birthday.”
As he opened the sliding door for Natasha, she rolled out the cake and the entire terrace erupted with singing. Bucky joined along, of course, watching as his daughter grabbed your hand and dragged you over to the cake. You sang happily, encouraging her to blow out the candles and make a wish when the song had ended.
Natasha took a million pictures of you and, out of the corner of your eyes, you could feel Mr. Barnes’ gaze on you. You hoped that meant you were doing a good job. Keeping a smile on your face for that long was quite a lot of work. You watched as the birthday girl ran up to her father and he swung her in his arms.
You had already noticed what a beautiful family they were and how incredibly lucky they were to live in such a nice part of town. You hoped to have something like this one day and to find someone as attentive as Mr. Barnes. You were holding a little girl in your lap as she was asking if you personally knew Mulan before you heard a gagging noise.
Before you knew it, icing colored vomit was dripping down the bottom of your dress.
Her mother came quickly, swooping the little girl from your arms, “I’m so so so sorry! She must’ve had too much cake,” You only smiled, trying to hide any disgust that you felt.
“It’s okay,” You stood, making sure the little girl wasn’t embarrassed, “Even princess’s get tummy aches. Besides, I have lots of dresses in my castle.”
You felt a hand on the small of your back and turned to see Mr. Barnes, “The princess will be back in just a moment,” He spoke to the crowd of first graders as if to say that he’d personally help out with your accident.
“I’m just going to return to my castle for a moment, friends” You assured the little ones with a smile, as Bucky helped you with the long train of your dress. Natasha had spent a fortune on the dress just to make sure it was realistic. He helped you inside, and as the sliding glass door closed, you let out a breath of air.
Your smile fell a little though you didn’t want to appear completely tired in front of Mr. Barnes. One hand carrying your train and the metal one on your back, he led you towards the master bedroom. At first, you blushed but then you realized that was probably where the most room was.
“You looked like you were having fun out there,” Bucky commented.
“It’s nice making them smile,” You spoke earnestly and part of Bucky told him to beware. You were too pure for him to dip his fingers into yet he still wanted to taste you.
“Do you want to take off your dress?” Bucky smiled evilly as your eyes widened and your cheeks heated with embarrassment.
It took a minute for you to realize what he was actually asking, “W-Well, the show must go on, right? I think I can just try to wipe it with a wet washcloth and hope for the best. I don’t want to let this ruin the party.”
Bucky nodded though he added, “My daughter loves you so I doubt you could ever ruin anything.” That made you genuinely smile because you knew then that the impression you were trying so hard to make was definitely good. Natasha had even said you deserved a raise before you’d gotten thrown upon.
Bucky led you into the bathroom before he retrieved a washcloth and ran in under the sinkwater for you. You couldn’t help but admire the luxury of it all, the tall ceilings and the chandelier that hung. You could fit the size of your entire apartment in their bathroom.
You sat down on the tub and began to scrub at your dress, “I really appreciate you guys giving me a chance. I know I didn’t have as many qualifications as the other girls,” Bucky knew you’d be grateful for that. Your interview with them was good and Natasha liked your personality but Bucky wanted you because of your beauty and youth.
“You’re a hard worker, Y/N,” You liked the way your name rolled off his tongue like you could hear the satisfaction in each syllable. “Natasha and I were thinking … I’m not sure she’d want me to mention it yet-”
“What were you thinking?” You looked up with curious eyes, “I mean, of course, you don’t have to tell me, sorry.”
Be patient with her, Natasha had told him. But looking down at how the heart shape neckline of your dress exposed your breasts, patience was the last thing on his mind.
“We wanted you to stay with us, join our staff full time. Nat wants to start working more and it’s hard for both of us to keep up with things around the house.”
“Really?” You perked up, your eyes wide with excitement, “I’d love that. I’d love that so much, Mr. Barnes.”
Bucky admired the light in your eyes and knew the power he held over your life. You wanted this job desperately since it was probably the best you were going to do. You’d probably do a lot to keep it as well.
“I’m sure Nat will be glad to hear it …. and you can call me Bucky, Y/N. Might as well drop the formalities if we’re going to be getting closer.”
Closer in proximity is what you thought he meant, “Sounds good, Bucky.”
+
It had been a few weeks since you’d moved into their luxurious home. It had been a complete dream especially with the huge pay raise that it had earned you.
“Do you have a boyfriend, Y/N?” You looked up abruptly from where you were wiping down the kitchen counter. Natasha was sitting down at the island, typing away at her laptop, while she looked you over. You still had paint on your hands and on your cheek from the painting session you had with her daughter. Now the little girl was down for her night and Natasha thought it was the perfect time to get some information, “I mean, you just never mention anyone.”
“I-I don’t,” Your cheeks heated from embarrassment, “Dating isn’t really … my thing.”
“Why’s that? You’re a lovely girl, Y/N.”
Why was she saying all this? Why the sudden curiosity? Was she worried you’d bring someone around her daughter?
“I-It’s just hard. With kids, I’m confident but, with adults, not so much.”
“Bucky used to be that way,” You weren’t expecting to hear about him, “When I met him, he was very closed off. He thought dating was still like it is in the ’40s. Sure, it’s nice to settle down but everyone these days is so … open. You know what I mean?”
You tilted your head to the side, “But you and Bucky settled down?”
“Yes, we love each other and I wanted kids so it made sense. But we still like to keep things interesting. We want to make sure each of us happy.”
“How … How do you do that?”
Natasha bit down on her lip as she thought for a moment, “Let’s have a glass of wine,” She spoke, getting up from her seat.
“Oh, I don’t drink,” You rushed out nervously, “I mean, I’ve never done it before.”
She was still moving towards the wine cabinet, “There’s a first time for everything, right? C’mon have a drink with your boss.” Your boss, right. She was speaking so casually that you had almost forgotten the line between you.
“Are you sure? What about-”
“Bucky won’t be home until late and the little one is fast asleep. We can have some girl talk, it’ll be fun. One glass won’t do any harm,” Natasha sat the two glasses on the counter before she started to pour you some red wine.
You’d probably be good after one glass but the universe didn’t work in your favor that night. There was a second after the first glass and now you were a giggling mess.
Natasha managed to reach into the deepest parts of your past and had you laughing at the same time. You were exactly as she had previously predicted. You had a sheltered life, you grew up disadvantaged but had religious parents. They shamed you into not doing a lot of things but Natasha manages to drill into you that “you shouldn’t be ashamed of anything you do”.
When Bucky strolled in later that night, he found you and Nat sprawled on the couch in the living room. Whatever plan Nat had was working on, it was clearly successful, “Bucky, honey, come sit with us!”
You set your glass down, realizing how comfortable you had gotten, “Don’t be shy now, Y/N,” Nat said to you as Bucky took a seat beside her, “Y/N was telling me about her love life.”
You stared at Nat in disbelief. You understood talking about this stuff with her because she was a girl but with Bucky? “It’s exciting, I hope. There are lots of people in New York.”
“A-Actually, I-”
Natasha placed a hand on Bucky’s leg, taking another sip of wine before saying, “She’s a virgin.”
Bucky looked you over with a smirk, “And I thought the fairy princess stuff was an act ... “
You weren’t sure if you should be offended so you only said, “It’s not like that. I still know things ... “
Natasha handed her glass of wine to Bucky before standing and walking to where you were sitting on the couch. She held her hands out to you and you took them hesitantly. She pulled you up so you were standing impossibly close to her, “How much do you know, honey?”
“I … “
“Don’t you want to learn some things? So you can please the man in your life?”
“You won’t be much use to your future boyfriend if you don’t know how to please him,” Bucky interjected, leaning forward.
You hadn’t even thought of it that way …Maybe it was the wine or something because you didn’t object to their words. “I don’t think I can ... “
Natasha still held your hands as she guided you over to where Bucky was sitting, “Of course you can,” Before you knew it, she was pushing you into his lap. You felt his hands tightening on your waist and you began to panic.
“Mr. and Mrs. Barnes-”
“It’s okay,” Natasha grabbed your chin, forcing you to look up at her as his cold hand roamed over your thigh, “We’re gonna help each other out. You can’t go the rest of your life without knowing how to please a man. How I please Bucky is with girls like you, understand?”
It was so far from anything you had ever experienced that you weren’t sure if you did understand. That didn’t stop Bucky from pressing his front to you, grabbing at your breast and rubbing circles against your nipples through your top, “Let me teach you, Y/N, I promise I won’t bite” He whispered into your ear and it must’ve been the wine that makes you whisper back, “O-Okay.”
You’d be lying if you said you never thought about Bucky in that way but the thoughts had never gone far because of Natasha.
Natasha stepped away from a small grin on her face. After Bucky got his hands on one of the innocent dolls like you, it seemed to turn him into a complete animal in bed, and Natasha loved dealing with the consequences, “Bucky’s going to be very gentle with you, honey. Just give a shout if you need anything.”
Bucky watched as his wife stepped away, knowing he liked to watch her go. He turned his head back to you, dipping his face into your neck, starting to kiss the sensitive area there. It sent fire through you, not only to your cheeks but all over your body, “What do you know about kissing, Y/N?” Again, he could tell you were only pretending as you stuttered over your response, “Then I’m your first?”
You nodded. Nat had really hit the jackpot. He was going to thank her really well later.
Bucky’s hand stroked your bottom lips for a moment, “Just relax,” You did your best but you couldn’t help but tense as he leaned into you and pressed his lips against yours. You thought it would be a short moment but his hands roamed over your bare legs as the tip of his tongue began to pry open your mouth.
You let him and soon you were trying to copy his movements by moving your mouth against his. When he finally did pull away, you thought you might have totally embarrassed yourself, “Was that bad?”
Bucky immediately shook his head, “You’re a natural, baby.”

summary: [apart of the seventeen stars to the right series] jeonghan figures babysitting his niece at disneyland can’t be that bad, but it definitely gets better when he finds out you’re the cast member assisting his niece’s favorite princess, cinderella.
genre: fluff, cutie uncle!jeonghan || wc: 2.3k
a/n: yes I did take too long to post this and yes I did go overboard... i’m sorry
Tumblr media
I’m definitely the only college kid that has to spend their Saturdays like this, Jeonghan thinks to himself for the second time that month. When he had spent all those nights in high school imagining the crazy parties and wild events he’d attend on his Saturdays in college, there was never any 4 year old niece involved, and definitely no Disneyland either. Yet here he was, his right pointer and middle fingers wrapped tightly around his niece’s hand as she tugs him towards the opening gates of the amusement park. Despite the fact that he did want to go out day drinking with his friends like normal college students did, he also couldn’t complain too much. A free year pass to Disneyland and getting paid just to spend the day with his niece every week? There’s worse things to do on a Saturday.
Still, Jeonghan curses his need for money in the back of his head when a mere 15 seconds after stepping into the park his niece won’t stop begging him to go to the Royal Hall, of all places. “Uncle Hannie pleaseee you told me last time that you’d let me meet Cinderella!” He tries not to groan at the way his niece looks up at him, eyes pleading and much too big for his dwindling resolve.
“Why do you want to go there?! Don’t you want to, like, ride Space Mountain or something?” Jeonghan complains to her as they walk down Main Street, wearing matching Mickey and Minnie Disney ears while weaving through the overwhelming crowds of families and couples.
His niece lets out a whine just as they pass some teenager asking her parents for pictures in front of the castle, “I want to meet Cinderella! She’s my favorite! Uncle Hannie pleaseee!” Her walking halts and she begins to stomp her feet in protest. “You’re such a meanie, you told me last time we came that we would see Cinderella and the time before that and the first time and-”
“Fine!” Jeonghan thought he was first at a lot of things in life, but his niece definitely has him beat in the whining and persistence departments, “We can go see Cinderella at the Royal Hall, but only once today okay? We’re not going over and over again.”
His niece pouts, but doesn’t complain further as she makes her way to the left where the hall was located. Disneyland was always fun - it was Disneyland - but Jeonghan wishes he could enjoy it to it’s full potential rather than being dragged around to visit people in costumes and watching the same shows over and over again.
-----
The boy watches as his niece makes small conversation with the cast member dressed as Ariel. They had to wait in line for 45 minutes to get into the meet and greet and his niece only looks half amused when the princess asks her if she’s met any new fish friends lately. Jeonghan doesn’t say much during their interaction aside from taking a few pictures to show his aunt later and thanking the cast members for their time.
Almost immediately after Ariel bids her goodbyes, the little girl goes taking off around the corner, calling out a, “Cinderelly Cinderelly!” in excitement. Jeonghan rushes to keep up, and right as he rounds the corner himself he sees his niece happily jumping into the arms of the woman dressed in blue.
He already knows this is going to take twice as long as Ariel’s meet and greet did; his niece is already spewing off about how she wants her own castle with a mouse named Gus Gus and a carriage shaped like a pumpkin. With a slight puff Jeonghan makes his way to stand next to the cast attendant with Cinderella and for the first time today it’s his heart that goes pumping with excitement.
You stand next to the pillar with a smile watching the interaction between the princess and Jeonghan’s niece. You loved your job of attending to the princesses at the Royal Hall - the way a few magical minutes in someone’s day always makes the tiring hours more than worth it. You beam as Jeonghan’s niece claps her hands while speaking to Cinderella, questioning her on whether or not the King and Queen of the kingdom forced her to eat broccoli, too.
Since starting your job at Disneyland, there were many days where you and your favorite coworker would talk after a shift to discuss the cute guys that would funnel in and out of the parks. Turning to look at the man who came into your area with the little girl, you knew today would be one of those days. “Is she your sister?” You decide to ask, you know, for good measure. He technically looked old enough to have a child around the girl’s age, but you learned the hard way it’s better not to assume.
“Niece,” He answers with a small smile once he settles next to you. Jeonghan lets a few moments pass as he watches his niece happily bounce next to the princess, but in the corner of his eye he’s watching you. You were probably one of the cutest people he’s ever seen - if not the cutest. Knowing he only has a limited amount of time before the family on the other side of the wall moves on to get their meeting with Cinderella, the man attempts to strike up a conversation, “My sister makes me bring her to Disneyland every Saturday.”
“Every Saturday?!” Your eyes get wide, turning to fully face the man, “Did you have to buy an annual pass for that?”
“Nah, they pay for it.” The boy decides to face you completely in response while rubbing his fingers together, “My sister married well.” For a split second he wonders if he should’ve lied and said he did pay for it all himself - to impress you or something.
Your mouth opens to reply, but you’re quickly distracted when you catch the two girls posing for a picture. Despite your desire to talk to the cute guy, you know you’re technically still on the clock, so you cut the conversation in favor of taking pictures of his niece with her favorite princess. Jeonghan decides to do the same and pulls out his phone for pictures, but really, his attention is on you the entire time.
-----
When his niece first begged to meet Cinderella, Jeonghan fully prepared to tell her every week following that they can’t go the Royal Hall for whatever made up reason and somehow convince her to go on a ride instead.
However, with the thought of you, the cute cast member replaying on his mind like a loop, he doesn’t complain for a second when his niece asks to see the princess in blue. In fact, it’s become a habit to head straight to the left whenever they enter the parks. Sometimes Jeonghan even takes his niece through the meet and greet twice if she behaves well (but she doesn’t really have to do anything. He just wants an excuse to see you again).
With their new routine in play, you and Jeonghan become more and more familiar with each other. You learn each other’s names, where the two of you go to school, and even things as in depth as Jeonghan’s love for basketball and the story of how you came to work for Disney. He figures out that your shift ends at 3pm every Saturday and he always seems to make it at least once before you’re off. Coming to Disneyland goes from babysitting his niece to borderline using the little girl as an excuse to talk to you. The bond you two create is simple, and definitely unexpected from your job of working with families and couples more often than not, but it’s special; even magical in a way.
So when Jeonghan’s niece makes a move to go right instead of left one Spring Saturday, Jeonghan nearly gets whiplash, “What are you doing? Don’t you want to go to the Royal Hall?”
To his surprise, the little girl shakes her head and points towards Tomorrowland, “Can we try Space Mountain instead?”
For once in his life, Jeonghan is rendered speechless. His niece never turned down an opportunity to go see her favorite princess. He does nothing but blink at her for a bit, trying to understand her sudden fixation with the opposite end of the park, until he’s pulled back to reality by her tugging on his hand again, “Do you want to see Cinderella later, then?”
Jeonghan’s okay with going on the ride first - as long as they get into the Royal Hall by 3pm. “No,” His niece suddenly answers and the boy can only imagine how high his eyebrows raise, “I don’t really like Cinderella anymore.”
“You what?!” Jeonghan drops down to the girl’s eye level to shake her shoulders dramatically, “What do you mean you don’t like Cinderella?! She’s your favorite!”
“Not anymore, I watched Frozen yesterday and Elsa’s dress is prettier. She’s my favorite now!” He’s sure this could go in a Youtube compilation of Top 10 Anime Betrayals, “I wanna go see Elsa today instead!”
“Screw Elsa!” Jeonghan forgets for a second just where he is, catching a middle aged mom in the corner of his eye covering her daughter’s ears. Clearing his throat and bringing his tone down, he continues, “You like Cinderella, okay? When we get back to your house later tonight we can watch all the Cinderella movies and I’ll even buy you a doll today! But we're not going to see Elsa! We’re seeing Cinderella!”
The small girl, as expected, isn’t very happy with his demands. She begins to stomp and whine like that first day he took her to meet the princess, and although she got the best of him that time, it’s not happening today. “Why can’t we see Elsa?!”
“Because-” Jeonghan pauses to bring his voice down once again, “Cinderella’s friend is really, really cute, okay? And Uncle Hannie really wants to get their phone number. So, we’re going to see Cinderella and later on when Cinderella’s cute friend doesn’t have to work anymore we can go see Elsa, I promise.” With his pinky stretched out, he’s hoping his explanation suffices. His niece was young and maybe she won’t understand just how desperately he wants those two or three minutes with you every week; but it’s worth a shot.
For a second, she does nothing but stare at his outstretched hand, almost as if she’s weighing her options. Then, with a small smile, she lifts her small hand to meet his and hooks their pinkies together, “Okay.”
-----
Today, Cinderella is placed at the end of the Royal Hall, and Jeonghan’s sure that his niece knows exactly what she’s doing when she nearly flies through the first two princesses with little to no conversation. He decides not to point it out though, and just goes through the routine of taking a picture and thanking the workers.
Jeonghan wonders how the interaction between his niece and Cinderella will go; will she pretend to be interested? Will she tell Cinderella that she’s found a new favorite? Or, worst of all: will she take nearly no time with the princess, and Jeonghan will be forced to talk to you for less than a second before having to leave?
Surprisingly, his niece does none of the three. Without even sparing Cinderella a glance, she immediately marches over to you standing in your usual spot against the pillar and says, “My Uncle thinks you’re cute.”
Silence. Jeonghan, despite being a naturally confident guy, doesn’t know what to do when you look up from his niece with an amused smile. Even Cinderella seems to lose character for a few moments when she slaps her hand over her mouth to conceal her laugh. Before Jeonghan can open his mouth to redeem himself, you look back down at his niece, “Oh? Does he?”
“Yes! I told Uncle Hannie I wanted to meet Elsa today but he made me come here because he said you’re really cute and he wants your phone number,” The girl replies and Jeonghan wonders where kids learn this stuff. “Can you give him your phone number so I can see Elsa now?”
Jeonghan sighs. This would happen to him. It’s probably karma for using his innocent niece as a way to talk to you. What is he even supposed to say now? Breaking into an awkward smile, he grabs his niece by the shoulder and shrugs, “Uh, kids, right?” Damn kids.
You laugh for a few seconds before lowering down to his niece’s level and grinning at the girl, “Tell your Uncle, that I think he’s really, really cute,” You spare a glance at the man briefly, “And that I’m flattered he’d like to get my phone number. But it’s against the Disneyland rules for me to give it to him.”
Of course it is, he thinks to himself. Leave it to the happiest place on Earth to ruin his chances with you. Jeonghan’s about to nod in understanding and motion for his niece to (very quickly) finish her meet and greet and he can stuff his face with churros for the rest of the day. But before he can make any sort of moves you continue, “However… If you and your Uncle were to see me at the castle around 3:30 after my shift today… I’m sure Mickey wouldn’t mind, right?”
“He wouldn’t!” His niece answers happily before jumping up and down, facing Jeonghan to say, “Can we see Elsa before then?!”
Chuckling (mostly to mask his sigh of relief and excitement), Jeonghan nods and points to Cinderella across the room, “Finish saying hi to Cinderella and I’ll take you to meet Elsa right after this.”
The little girl squeals in happiness before running over to the woman in blue, who he knows is giving him a knowing look. Jeonghan fits into his spot next to you, whispering through a smile, “So… churros at 3:30 then?”
You beam at him, nodding, “It’s a date.”

Unloved and Unwanted?
Tumblr media
Word Count: 3,395 Felix x Reader Part One. Warnings: Fluff Angst
Y/N was 17 years old when her entire life changed; her mother Molly died in a car accident and she found herself in Forks living with her father Charlie Swan, who she had never met.  Charlie was shocked when he got a phone call from Child Services advising him about Y/N as he didn’t know she even existed. This made it hard for Charlie to accept her; as a result he struggled to build relationship with Y/N once she arrived in Forks. Charlie and Sue were busy working and planning their wedding; leaving little time to help Y/N settle in.
Bella had already moved out as she was married to Edward Cullen and they had a daughter Renesmee. Bella did not make an effort to meet her younger half-sister, choosing to ignore her.
Y/N didn’t make any friends at her new school either, she went almost unnoticed there. She felt truly alone and it only made her miss her mom even more, especially as they had been very close before the accident.
One Saturday morning Bella dropped Renesmee off at Charlie’s for a visit but didn’t stay herself as she had things to do. After a few hours Charlie was called into the station due to an emergency and as Y/N was home he asked her to keep an eye on Renesmee. This surprised Y/N as she had only met Renesmee briefly a few times as she was not included in ‘family time’ during Renesmee’s visits. This led to Y/N staying in her room during Renesmee’s visits as to not be in the way. In fact Y/N stayed in her room even when Renesmee wasn’t around for the same reason.
Y/N and Renesmee baked chocolate chips cookies and watched a few Disney films together, before Charlie came home with take out. Y/N had dinner with them that night but only because Renesmee asked her to join them. Charlie did not engage Y/N in conversation other than to ask about what she and Renesmee did whilst he was at work.
That night when Renesmee got home she told her family about the time she spent with Y/N; how much she liked her and that she felt sorry for her as she had lost her mom. This conversation prompted Bella to finally decide to meet Y/N; six months after she had moved to Forks.
This decision prompted Alice to have a vision;
Y/N was in Italy with the Volturi; more specifically with Felix, one of the elite guards. They didn’t look happy together either with Felix leaving Y/N alone in her room and making his way to the throne room for guard duty.
Felix spending his evenings with Demetri and Santiago playing cards or playing on his computer console with other members of the guard when not on guard duty at night.
Y/N’s room was not very big and was barely decorated and the only visitors she got other than Felix was Gianna, who bought her meals every day, Heidi and Demetri who check in on her.
Edward saw the vision as it happened and knew what he had to; for this solved a problem for everyone, Y/N would leave Forks and live in Volterra. He filled his siblings and Bella in on the plan and they all agreed. “She’ll be someone’s else’s problem soon, Charlie still isn’t warming to the idea of having another daughter around” Edward told them, having read Charlie’s mind the last time he was over there “Bella, you need to befriend Y/N and bring her over so we can inform her about Vampires; the Volturi and her mate” Bella agreed instantly.
Bella met with Y/N at Charlie’s a few days later “Hello Y/N, I’m Bella. I’m sorry for not coming over sooner to meet you” “Hi Bella, that’s ok. It’s nice to finally meet you” Y/N replied “Yeah you too. How are you settling in?” Bella asked “I’m settling in ok, thanks” Y/N lied.
They spent the afternoon talking to each other attempting to get to know one another. Y/N couldn’t help feeling suspicious of Bella; wondering why she came over to meet her and why she was being nice to her after ignoring her the last six months.
The following Friday Bella called and invited Y/N over to the Cullen house “Hello Y/N, I hope you are ok. I’m calling to invite you over tomorrow. I think it would be nice for you to meet Edwards’s siblings” “Err, ok thanks. Sounds nice, thank you” Y/N relied. The following morning Bella drove to Charlie’s and picked up Y/N and bought her back to the main house. When they arrived Bella introduced her to everyone “Y/N this is my husband Edward” She said pointing to Edward “Hello Edward, it’s nice to meet you” Y/N greeted “You too Y/N” Edward smiled “These are my siblings Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, Alice” He continued; they all smiled and said hello to Y/N and she did the same in return. “My father Carlisle is at the hospital and my mother Esme has taken Renesmee out for the day. Hopefully you’ll meet them next time” Edward added.
Neither Carlisle nor Esme knew of Edward’s plan or the other’s involvement as they all knew that they wouldn’t agree with or support their plan.
They all sat down in the family room and explained to Y/N that they were vampires and that they feed off of animals instead of humans; hence their golden eyes. They explained that vampires have something called a ‘mate’; one person they would love, protect and spend an eternity with. They also explained that Rose and Emmett were mates; as were Jasper and Alice, Edward and Bella and lastly Carlisle and Esme. Alice explained that her, Jasper, Edward and Bella had ‘gifts’ and explained which each one was. Y/N nodded trying to take in the information so far
Emmett went onto explain about the Volturi who lived in Italy; how they were the rulers of the vampire world enforcing the laws, one of which was that humans were not allowed to know of their existence. “Why have you told me then?” Y/N asked confused. “We have told you about vampires because Alice has had a vision and it showed you with your mate; who is an elite Volturi guard” Edward answered. “What does that mean for me?” She asked “It means that you would need to go to Volterra to be with him. If they came here to check on Renesmee and found out that we knew you were the mate of one of their guards and we didn’t tell them; they would kill us and take you to Italy forcibly” Edward continued. “What is the guard I’m mated to like?” She asked. The Cullen siblings and Bella looked at each other before Rosalie answered her “He is known for being the strongest vampire in the world and has killed many vampires and humans alike” Shock flashed across Y/N’s face at hearing this “The Volturi do not like humans much; seeing them as not much more than their food source. So the news of one of their elite guards being mated to a human will not go down well” Rosalie continued. “He will likely reject you as his mate as you’re human” Bella added “I-If he is to reject me…why does he need to know about me?” Y/N asked. Noone answered her straight away, again looking at each other silently deciding who would answer her.
“As I said before, they would kill us if they found out we kept you from your mate. We can’t and won’t risk our lives for you” Edward replied rather matter of factly; Y/N said nothing. “You need to know more about your mate” Bella added and Y/N nodded, waiting for someone to continue.
“The Volturi do not usually allow newborns in the castle; however, they will make an exception for you…” “What do you mean newborns?” Y/N cut Edward off sounding confused “Newborns are what newly turned vampires are called” Bella answered her, Y/N nodded “You’ll spend your newborn years in the dungeon and provided your mate remembers you’re down there; you’ll more than likely be taken to a room in one of the towers…where you will spend your eternity once you’re no longer a newborn” Edward informed her “W-Why did you say if he remembered I was in the dungeon?” She asked a little worried “Edward means there are vampires that have been down in the dungeons for decades if not centuries. They kinda get forgotten about” Alice replied quickly “So if I am to be rejected, why would he keep me in the castle?” Y/N asked feeling confused. Jasper answered her this time “Once he meets you the mate bond will kick in and he will feel protective of you and will need to know that you are safe. If a vampire loses their mate they become heartbroken and overtime they fall into a deep depression and he won’t want that; the Volturi leaders won’t want that either as he is too valuable to them. This will still apply even after his rejection of you” “Oh” Was all Y/N could say.
“Some of the Volturi are gifted too, so you won’t be able to run and hide either as they have the world’s best tracker and they will send him after you and he will find you and drag you back to Volterra kicking and screaming if he has to. You’ll also see the cruel side of your mate too if you were to run from him” Emmett added; all of them being careful not to reveal Y/N’s mate’s name. “You leave for Volterra in three days. We have already bought you a ticket and to ensure you actually get there I will accompany you” Edward says. “So I don’t have a choice in this?” Y/N asked “No you don’t!” Bella said sharply. “Edward I don’t think going to Volterra with another human is a good idea. We have letters for her and Aro; I think it’s best if she goes alone” Alice says looking at Edward, who nods “Fine, but I’m taking her to the airport regardless. I’ll pick you up at 8pm Tuesday Y/N” Y/N just nods in response. Y/N made sure to not think about how she felt about this around Edward knowing that he may be able to read her mind.
Later that night Y/N started packing a few things for her trip and couldn’t help her thoughts ‘I find out I have a soulmate; someone who’s supposed to love me forever, only to find out that he won’t want me. He’ll just reject me and lock me away forever. I don’t know why I’m so surprised that someone else who is supposed to love me doesn’t. It’s the story of my life recently, being unwanted and unloved. It’s bad enough I have to stay here with Charlie who doesn’t want me around.’ Tears slipped down her cheeks at the thought of being unloved, unwanted and locked away forever, just to be forgotten about. She cried herself to sleep that night.
The following morning Charlie opens a letter informing him that Y/N has been accepted into an Art college in Italy and that she is due there in a few days. Alice had put the letter together as a cover story for Y/N to leave Forks. “Morning, Y/N. This came yesterday after I left for work; it’s an acceptance letter for an Art college in Italy. They need you there in a few days so you should get packing” Charlie said smiling as Y/N entered the kitchen “Oh ok, I’ll-I’ll do that” Y/N couldn’t believe the Cullens had faked a letter to get her to Italy; clearly they wanted her gone and soon.
A few days later Edward dropped Y/N off at the airport “Here this is a letter for Aro; make sure to give it to him when you arrive at the castle. This letter is for you to read on the plane, it’s basically tells you what we told you the other night. When you arrive a car will be waiting to take you Volterra. Safe flight” He gets back in the car and drives away leaving Y/N at the airport alone.
Y/N sits on the plane reading the letter addressed to her; and it’s a repeat of the information she was told a few days ago. She thought about not going to Italy but figured the Cullens will know if she doesn’t arrive or they’ll call Aro to check that she arrived so it’s probably just easier to go voluntarily rather than be chased down by the Volturi’s tracker and incur the wrath of her mate.
The plane lands and Y/N makes her way through to the airport to the waiting car “Miss Y/S/N?” The man asks “Yes, you’re taking me to Volterra?” Y/N replies “Yes miss. Get in the car please” The man says placing her case in the trunk. Y/N is dropped off just outside of the town square “The castle is just up there; you can’t miss it as there’s a huge fountain in the middle of the square” “Thank you” Y/N said taking her case from the driver.
Y/N made her way to the town square and sat down on the fountain trying to get the courage up to walk into a castle full of vampires; knowing that once she’s inside she’ll never be allowed to leave. Unknown to Y/N she is being watched by Heidi who has stepped outside of the castle to see if there are any tourists around that she can add to the ‘castle tour’ scheduled for tomorrow. With her enhanced sight Heidi notices that Y/N holding an envelope in her hands whilst looking at the castle and after about an hour Heidi makes her way over to Y/N “Are you ok?” She asks sitting beside her “I think so” Y/N replies sounding unsure. “I’m Heidi by the way, so what brings you to Volterra?” Y/N notices Heidi’s eyes are a lilac colour and her skin is pale but looks perfect, just like the Cullens “I’m Y/N. I’ve been sent here to meet my mate, not that he’s going to happy about it. In fact I’ve been told that…he won’t want me” Y/N says looking down handing Heidi her letter “It’s all explained in here”
Heidi takes the letter reading it and it explains that Y/N is mated to one of the elite guards and as soon as she reads ‘he is the strongest vampire in the world’ she knows who Y/N’s mate is. Heidi frowns as she continues to read the letter as she doesn’t like what she is reading. It is depicting Felix as cruel when he is actually kind despite him coming across as intimidating due to his physical appearance. She also knows that Felix would his love his mate whether she be human or vampire as he has been waiting a long time to meet her and would be hurt if he knew that his mate thought of him this way. “Who gave you this letter?” Heidi asks sounding a little upset “Edward Cullen handed me this letter at the airport for me to read to remind me about what awaits me upon landing here. I also have another letter for Aro” She tells Heidi “How come you showed me this letter?” Heidi asks “You are a vampire and I’m guessing you live in the castle” Y/N replies “How did you…” Y/N cuts Heidi off “You have pale skin like the Cullens and you came from the direction of the castle and you didn’t seem surprised when I mentioned the word ‘mate’ nor when you were reading the letter” “Huh, very true. Would you like me to take you inside to meet Aro?” Heidi asks “I’m not sure if I’m ready to go in just yet” Y/N replies quietly “Ok I’ll wait with you until you’re ready” “Thank you Heidi.” Y/N gives Heidi a small smile. After an hour of sitting on the fountain making small talk Heidi and Y/N make their way into the castle; Heidi taking Y/N’s hand in hers “Do not let go of my hand Y/N” “Ok” Y/N nods.
Once inside the castle Heidi heads straight to the reception desk “Hi Gianna, this is Y/N. I need you to take this to Aro for me please” Heidi says handing her a quick note asking to meet with him, Caius and Marcus and minimal guards as she has a delicate matter to discuss. Heidi and Y/N wait in reception for Gianna to return “Heidi, Y/N, Aro is ready for you and the guards have been dismissed except for Jane and Demetri” Heidi was pleased Felix wouldn’t be in the room during this conversation.
They arrive at throne room “Good afternoon masters” Heidi greets them with a smile “Heidi so good to see you and you have bought a human with you” Aro replies curious. “There is a very good reason for that. This is Y/N and she has a letter for you from the Cullens” Caius’ attention is piqued when he hears the Cullens name mentioned. “May I see the letter please my dear?” Aro asks “Of course” Y/N responds handing the letter over. Y/N and Heidi watch Aro’s facial expressions as he reads the letter and he doesn’t seem happy. “What’s in the letter brother?” Caius asks impatiently; Aro extends his arm holding out the letter for him. “Y/N my dear, when did you learn about us?” Aro asks “A few days ago, I was invited to the Cullen’s house and Edward, his siblings and Bella informed me about vampires, the Volturi and…mates” She answered “Do you know who your mate is?” Caius interjects “Not exactly. I only know that he is one of the elite guards…and is known for being the strongest vampire in the world. Also that he along with the rest of you don’t like humans much…there-therefore he won’t want meas his mate. I’ve been told that I will be rejected and locked away” Y/N replies not looking at Caius “WHAT?!” Caius screams; Heidi and Y/N flinch at this, Heidi grips Y/N’s hand in a comforting gesture. Y/N’s comment also gains Marcus’ attention whilst Jane and Demetri look on curiously.
Caius storms down the steps to stand beside Aro “If you know you are to be rejected why did you come here?” Aro asks gently “Edward told me if you found out that they knew I was the mate of one of your guards and they didn’t tell you; you would kill them…and bring me here by force. He said they wouldn’t risk their lives for me. They also said that if I were to run and hide…you-you would send the world’s best tracker after me; who would find me and…bring me here…kicking and screaming if needed and…I would incur the wrath of my mate…who can be rather cruel. I-I figured it was just easier to come here willingly” She replied quietly looking down. Demetri felt himself get a little angry hearing that the Cullens had used him to threaten the human girl into coming to Volterra. “You mentioned being locked away, what do you mean by this?” Caius asked confusion clearly showing on his face “Edward told me that you do not usually allow newborns in the castle; however, you will make an exception for me…that I’d spend my newborn years in the dungeon and…provided my mate remembers I’m down there; he’ll come and get me… lock me away in the tower where I’ll spend eternity once I’m no longer a newborn”
A look of shock crossed the faces of the three kings as well as Jane’s and Demetri’s upon hearing this. “I want you know that I don’t intend to object to the rejection” Y/N added. “Why would you accept the rejection child?” Marcus asks curiously joining his brothers at the bottom of the steps “Not being wanted is not a new thing for me. I’m not going to make someone be with me if they don’t want to be. I have no intention of messing up his life just because I’m not wanted back home either” Y/N replied looking at Marcus, who gave her a small smile.
‘Poor beautiful, broken girl.’ Heidi thought to herself listening to this last part.
