Harry dealing with abuse trauma/people finding out about Dursley’s treatment
Ok so I didn’t know exactly how to word this particular genre of Harry Potter fanfiction, but I have been reading some fanfics where either the teachers, Sirius or the golden trio find out that Harry has been abused by the Dursley’s and how Harry deals or heals from that trauma. #cupboardreveal
so therefore below is a list of fanfics that deal with this topic, this is pretty obvious but TW for child abuse, some of these I haven’t read yet so i don’t think any of them feature active abuse, more so past abuse.

Love in Other Places by mightbewriting: It required a strangely intimate level of trust, assuming Draco wouldn’t willfully mistranslate her, that he accurately interpreted a conversational ebb and flow. If Hermione allowed herself the moment of indiscretion, she might have described it as a rush. A completely inappropriate rush, but a rush all the same. Apparently I do recs now: Borrowed Time (Dronarry)
I've never wrote a fic recommendation before but the more I read the more I feel that screaming in the comments and leaving kudos is not enough. So, here's my first rec and it couldn't be more fitting the fact that is from @the-starryknight, the first person that welcomed me into this fandom two years ago and made me feel at home.
So here we go:
Borrowed Time || E || 8k || by @the-starryknight
Harry finds himself in quite a dire situation, waking up in the wrong bed and in the arms of his best friend's lover. From there is a wonderful trip and, even when the tag says #PlotWhatPlot, I believe that there is a plot in the way Harry gets from a panic attack to extremely horny to 'I guess I could get used to this'. If you like fun, soft and sexy fanfics, this is your cup of tea.
This fic is part of the @dronarryfest and before it, I didn't know I could like Ron. I'm a Drarry girl, most specifically a Draco girl, but this fest has made me want to jump into Ron's lap and purr like a cat.
The established Dron (is it Dron? I'm new here, so I don't know what I'm supposed to be calling RonxDraco, sorry) is something I've realized I enjoy very much and if you read this, you would too. In such a small amount of words, Starry portrays a wholesome, spicy, and tender relationship between those two. The cheeky way in which they drag horny overthinking Harry into their hands is amusing.
The way Starry portrays the duality of Draco, soft and caring with Ron, and teasing and bickering with Harry is amazing, giving our beloved slytherin a dimension I always crave in his characterization. Harry is a panicking horny mess and who can blame him for that. And finally, Ron, cheeky bold Ron who's sure about himself and what he wants. I want a Ron, I need a Ron, and the way is written here is spot on.
So, folks, go read it and let me know what you think about it. Is a short, well-written piece with amazing witty comments that I assure would leave you with a big smile on your face.

Draco threw Blaise a scathing look.
“Would you like another as well, oh light of my life?” Blaise asked Draco.
“Blaise,” Draco gritted out.
“So, Potter,” Blaise said, ignoring Draco. “Are you seeing anyone at the moment?”
“Uh, no,” Potter said, cheeks flaring deliciously once again. Draco didn’t remember him being such a blusher. “Why?”
“Just curious. Who’s the last person you went out with? Ginevra Weasley? Or has there been another lucky girl—or boy!—since then?"
“Um, not—not really,” Potter said. “Not anybody worth mentioning.”
“Funny, that’s what Draco was just saying,” Blaise said, passing Potter a gin and tonic. Draco elbowed Blaise hard in the ribs, willing him to shut up. But Blaise continued speaking, entirely undeterred. “Sure, he meets plenty of fit men in clubs, but nobody special, you know?”
Draco elbowed him again and Blaise let out a soft grunt of pain.
“Oh,” Potter said, turning even redder. “Yeah.” He cleared his throat. “I hear that.” He scratched at the back of his neck. “Well. Thank you for the drink, Zabini. I’m going to go back over to…” He gestured vaguely at his friends.
“Any time, Potter,” Blaise said, giving Potter another congenial grin.
“What the bloody fuck is wrong with you?” Draco hissed as soon as Potter was out of earshot.
“He wants your cock,” Blaise said, shrugging.
“You arsehole, stop saying that!” Draco glanced over to Potter’s table. To his horror, Potter was looking his way. Again. Draco blanched when their eyes met and wanted to die. “I fucking hate you, Blaise!”
“He is blatantly ogling your arse in those trousers, old boy. Don’t hate me just yet. Wait and see how this plays out first.”
Draco looked again and met green eyes once more. He looked quickly away. “Oh, bouncing broomsticks, I’m not nearly drunk enough for this,” he said, gulping down his gin and tonic.
“Draco, I love you more than life itself, but you are a complete idiot sometimes,” Blaise said, taking him by the shoulders. “Listen. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll go to the loo right now.”
“Go to the loo? Why? What are you—”
“Stop arguing with me for one fucking minute, will you?” Blaise cried. Draco was quiet. “Good. Now, look over at Potter one more time and hold his gaze for just a little too long, and then go to the loo.”
Draco’s hand was shaking where it held his drink, threatening to splash gin all over the bar top. He set it down and wiped his palms on the sleeves of his coat. He glanced towards Potter again, and Potter was still looking at him. He felt like he might sick up, but still, he held that green stare until he couldn't bear it for a moment longer.
“Excellent. Now go,” hissed Blaise, pushing him.
Draco stiffly made his way to the loo, nerves making him light-headed. He stepped inside and let the door swing shut behind him. In the mirror, he looked pink-faced and wild-eyed, and his hands were still trembling as he fixed his hair. What in the hell was he doing? Surely, surely Blaise was off his fucking nut. There was no way—
The door to the loo swung open again, and then Harry Potter was crowding him against the sink. And then he was kissing Draco hard, his hand gesturing towards the door, which made a click as the lock slid into place.
Wandless and wordless. That son of a bitch. His cock throbbed against Potter’s thigh and Potter's tongue was in his mouth.
After a moment, Potter pulled away. “Is this okay?” he asked, his green eyes fixed on Draco’s.
Draco, at a complete loss for words and oxygen both, could only nod.
Potter smiled then, sweetly, and leaned in to kiss him again. And while the smile might have been sweet, the kiss was not. It was dirty and fierce and hungry, and Draco felt like he was floating above his body, everything taking on a surreal tint, because surely he was not here in the loo at the Leaky Cauldron, snogging Harry Potter.

@hprecfest day 19: hottest smut
I’m not going to lie, this prompt has had me struggling since I decided to take part in this fest. Now I’ve read some hot af smut. I’ve read smut so good I’ve actually fucking cried. But what is the hottest???? So hard. Instead of fics I had some authors come to mind who constantly write the filthiest shit known to mankind, and they’re doing gods work 🫡 check the tags and enjoy babes, I know I did:
Autobiography-series by @lqtraintracks 🩵 3 works, 26,996 words in total, charlie weasley et al.
Charlie doesn't think that this is his Fuck Autobiography. But it so is.
That is the summary of the first fic in this series, and these works were the first thing that came to my mind for this prompt initially. I'm so weak for these stories, they've completely rearranged every molecule in my body. The smut is really smutting, and the second and third parts bring the feels to the game as well. I just love everything about this series, I could eat these for breakfast lunch dinner and dessert. Lqt was also the first author that came to my mind thinking of the hottest smut, and everything they've written is pure gold and so inclusive and immersive and just so fucking good. Elite.

My Fic Recs
Hey guys, so after many many years of having this account and posting on it, I have decided that im finally going to post my fic recs. I've been writing fics myself for around 3 years now, and I have been reading fics for much longer. so it's fair to say I have compiled quite the list. I love all of these pieces so much, and I think the authors are just amazing. So I hope you all enjoy these are much as I do. I might even start posting these more often, monthly maybe if I have enough because I think it's a great way to bring recognition to great writers on this platform.
Some of the summaries are by me and some are just copied and pasted from the post.

Today, The Moonlit River, the Original Novel, comes out!
For some of you, that title may sound familiar. After all, my Drarry Fanfic, The Moonlit River has over 76,000 hits, so some of you may have clicked on it in the past.
Well, I couldn't get it out of my head, and now it's an original novel, the first of three in a trilogy. The Moonlit River (fanfic version) accounts for all of book one, and book two will be 100% new content, new characters, and a new story. The lore within the series is now completely original, and I am super proud of how it came out. So, if you have read the fanfic version and liked it, I encourage you to mosey on over to Amazon and give it a try if you're looking for something Harry Potter-esque, but with openly queer characters throughout the entirety of the series, and not just outed afterwards for clout.
