Me: "Hey, is it ok if I can change my name on my info from [DEADNAME] to Sai?"

Random woman that I wasn't even talking to in the chair next to me: "Honey, if that's the name you had at birth, [DEADNAME] is your only name."

My dentist, very slowly turning her rolley chair towards the woman: "Shush."

Random woman: "Excuse me?"

Destist: *closes privacy curtain while staring bullets at the lady*

Me: *pissing myself laughing*

My dentist while changing my name in my info (reminder that English is not her first language, she immigrated from Russia): "There, Sai, you have pretty boy teeth. Smile and make all girls swoon."

Me not having the heart to tell her I'm not transmasc but I'm Agender, and still pissing myself laughing: "Thank you [DENTIST NAME]."

Saturday Six (Stuff)

We finished up recovering some bench seats for a local pizza restaurant here in town, and lemme tell you, we'll never be eating there ever again. I don't think, other than swiping off the parts where people actually sit, did these things ever get cleaned. And they never pulled them out to clean underneath them or anything either. Not to even go into the condition of the kitchen (I had to walk through in the mornings to get to the dining room). Idk how the health dept cleared them.∑(O_O；)

Got to love when you tell a customer the wrong amount of money to pay you. Oopsie.(゜▽゜;)

We thought Reggie might have got lost again the other night. Nope. He just snuck in when we weren't looking. Damn sneaky black cat.✩⃛( ͒ ु•·̫• ू ͒)

Re: the bench job - I hate when you're trying to finish up and everything falls to shit. We had to remake a part because the old one was too far gone to reuse. Ugh. Annoying, and a little bit expensive. No worries, the customer paid.✩⃛˞(๑ꆨ৺ꉺ๑)

Caught some person taking pictures of the back of my car now that I've put my left leaning stickers all over it. Idk if it was a compliment or not but OH WELL!ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ

I really don't know how to explain to people that supporting gender liberation (liberation for trans people, liberation for gnc people, liberation from all oppressive gender roles) means you have to be able to see someone you think is cis "crossdressing" and be cool about it. You have to be able to see someone presenting in a way that doesn't make sense to you and not interrogate them about their identity. You have to be able to hear someone express a gender identity you don't understand and go "Huh! Neat," and go about your business. If you truly want gender liberation for all then you have to stop trying to exert control over other people's genders, period.
