What if Wylan and Jesper were both Grisha in the second army?
Jes probably refuses to wear his Kefta right and Wy probably likes to experiment too much.
Is this just my excuse to have drawn an Alkemi Kefta for Wy and think of how badass a fully trained Jesper would be still gunslinging about? Yes. yes it it.

𓇉 use his notes? that's insane!
fandom: grishaverse (shadow and bone; six of crows)
characters: jesper fahey, kaz brekker, alina starkov, nina zenik, inej ghafa, zemeni tidemaker oc, zemeni alkemi oc
type: au; excerpt
word count: 0.45k
summary: the crows, sun summoner, and their two new-found allies brainstorm to create a plan to keep their pursuers away from them
warnings: none
author notes: hello everyone! this isn’t a genshin post but i wanted to share a scene from a grishaverse au that i made last year. enjoy!
"I have an idea-" The alkemi started.
"Well, that's a bad omen." Her sister quickly interrupted.
"And why is that?" Kaz inquired of the Zemeni tidemaker.
"Why? Are you seriously asking me that?" She said with a scoff, "I can not be the only one that's noticed that whenever a fabrikator has a 'great idea' things go horribly wrong."
Jesper made a jokingly offended face, "All of my ideas have been flawless, thank you very much."
The other crows merely glanced at him before Inej spoke up, "You sure about that?"
"I'm serious! Listen: Sankt Ilya, a Ravkan fabrikator. He decides it's a great idea to mix his abilities with merzost to create the amplifiers, and he creates the shadow summoners by accident. Then his grandson, you know.. the Darkling, uses his notes and creates the fold and those creatures that almost killed us! Or that Shu chemist, Bo Yul-Bayur! He thought it was a great idea to use jurda to hide zowa abilities, something he wouldn't have felt the need to do if it weren't for the other two, and instead he created a drug that kills everyone-" She looked at Nina who coughed to remind the group of her presence. "Almost everyone who takes it."
"And what of it?" The elder Zemeni woman replied in an annoyed tone.
"The point is, your idea is probably insane. Maybe even worse considering you thought of it conveniently after our trip to the Fold."
Kaz nodded, "She has a point. Besides, right now we should be focusing on how to stay alive with everyone trying to hunt us."
At that moment Alina stood from her seat, "We can’t rule out anything that may help us. Jendayi, what exactly is your plan?"
Jendayi sighed before speaking, "At least someone is trying to do more than sit here and hide. Though I can’t lie, there is a minor inconvenience in the plan, but hear me out. Everything that Jagrati said is true. Those guys have changed so much for Zowa throughout the continents so why can't we do the same? If I could get Morozova's notes-"
"Get his notes?! How do you expect to do that?"
"When we were in the fold, towards the center, I saw a structure barely illuminated by Alina's light. It's the only building there. I think that's where the Darkling created the Fold, meaning that must be where his notes are! If I go back in, I could get then and learn how to..." The woman trailed off, knowing that if she finished that thought the Crows and Sun Saint would be against it. "Well, I think I could come up with a solution to our current issue."

ramdom thought about Wylan
I’m back in my Six of crows and Crooked Kingdom era (I just finished watching it with my roommate and it was so much fun) and I can’t stop thinking about how cool it would be an AU where Wylan is an Alkemi. Just a thought, Wylan is perfect already.

Grisha but make it contortionist
Okay, so we know Grisha channel their power through movement (i.e. the druskelle are trained to secure a Grisha's arms during a fight), but does the range of movement add to the amount of power? For example, say a squaller forms a 90 degree angle with their hands and summons a gust of wind (something vaguely like this).
Now, what if they could bend their hands all the way back?
(This but with all fingers)
Would that increase the amount of wind funneled into the attack or would it be a whole other move? Thoughts?

So for my Kuwei cosplay, I have decided to make a Kefta (because idk I am insane or smth)
And I was going to go for an Alkemi Kefta just bc I like them a lot and I think he deserves one, howeeeever ofc Kuwei is actually an Inferni. I just really dislike the Inferni Kefta shade of blue SO therefore I have decided to make an extra Kefta for Extra Kuwei.
This is kinda my first draft. I'm flipping the dark purple of the Alkemi Kefta to dark blue to fit the Inferni one more and then I'll need to do some more studying of the Inferni and Alkemi embroidery patterns so I can come up with a proper pattern mix between the two.

2/7/24 The Aftermath
Maybe venting got some shit out that I needed to release. I got 2 good workouts in today and 1 half assed step class.
Yes, I DID A 2 A DAY! OR 3 A DAY? WHATEVER! I DID IT.
Food has been good- primarily leftovers. I have a fridge stocked with ALL the veggies. But there was a storm coming so no matter what, I have no fucking excuses! And excuses don't burn calories OR fat. They just remind me that I suck at keeping promises to myself.
You gotta be about it. In a couple months, I could be in single digit jeans sizes.
Why? Why do you you want it?
If you really wanted it, wouldn't you be doing something about it??
Yeah, 💯 exactly. Time to get after it!
And a bowl of leftover veggies from last night's dinner.
Up next- baking soda & Epsom bath. A collagen tea. More of my book, then bed.
Things I need to remember:
Use all the tools in your toolbox.
Excuses are like wishes; they don't wash dishes.
I fucking got this. I root for everyone like there is no fucking tomorrow. I deserve to root for myself the same fucking way.
Get out of your own way.
You sexy bitch!

Hey question what do Alkemi do in the grishaverse?
Like I get it, they manipulate toxins, poisons, explosives, chemicals but like what does that actually mean???
Does that mean with the right chemicals in the air they could blow someone up, do they control poisons/toxins at a more physically or at an anatomical level? Because they're chemicals in our brains could Alkemi potentially alter brain chemistry?
Like we know heartrenders can slow/speed up someone's heart to adjust someone's emotions but what if Alkemi could do that in the brain with endorphins and stuff? Could they have the potential to alter someone's emotions from the source or could they even (probably on parem) do enough damage so they have an entirely new personality.
I just hope that we get a main character who is an Alkemi eventually because I think they have so much potential and could be so badass.
