Kit's Jesper thoughts: "Oh gosh this better be the tailored Wylan."
That is all I said to him when I went to take this pic, bc we had to be quick and I had spoken to him the same day and the other days before when I was cosplaying Kuwei.
For a second he thought I wanted him to fix smth on his collar bc I pointed at mine before finishing the sentence but he got it quick as usual, did the pose and when we were done he gave me a sly acknowledging smile going "That was good." cause I did just ask as if I would have asked anyone else for a favor just with a little nod to my voice. I love how it turned out, I could totally see a scene like that happening in universe XD
I wanted to go for untwisting the backpack strap first of fixing the collar but figured both would look awkward on photo and I think I made the right decision going with this version.

The Crows dressed up in Halloween as this meme:
Headcanon where they dress up as the quality they wanted to have EXCEPT they have to choose one member of the group which is more identified with that quality;
Wylan: dresses up as Inej, the most loved crow (even for Kaz). Seems difficult, but you're forgetting this kiddo's amazing art skills and they are both small and dangerous and that gives extra points. He's surprisingly good at make up and when he enters in the room with his costume no one (except Kaz, who, of course, memoryzed every detail of Inej herself) can recognize him.
Matthias: decides to cosplay Kaz, obviusly the most respected crow. Inej, never missing ocation, steals one of Kaz's suits and even his cane (Kaz got MAD searching it) to help him. The most difficult part was doing his hair, but Matthias, who is kinda good at haircutting (I mean-LOOK AT HIS HAIR HE'S BETTER THAN BRAD PITT IN A ZOMBIE MOVIE) mades an accurate retort (AND he wears demjin horns, of course). Everyone's impressed.
Jesper: dresses up as Wylan, the most appreciated crow (it was actually an excuse to cosplay him, but he's not wrong). Like the fashion king he is, his outfit is PERFECT and PERFECTLY GLAM. Wylan thinks he actually stole clothes from him, but Jesper LIKE THE FASHION KING HE IS made his own accurate replique. He doesn't lose ocation to flirt with Wylan, who litterally. Blushes. All. The. Time.
Inej: dresses up as Jesper, the most happy crow. Steals lime green pants and a bright pink tie (Jesper has always one in his pocket, FIGHT ME). She's great at knife-cutting, so she kinda personalyzes Jesper's clothes and the result is awesome. (Also, he almost kills him for saying she's too short to wear his clothes). No one recognizes her (except Kaz, OF COURSE).
Kaz: dresses up as Matthias (spoiler) the most...dead crow. Ignores both Inej and Nina's dissapointed looks. He just puts a sheet on himself and says 'I'm Matthias Helvar'. No one recognizes him. Iconic.
Nina: obviusly, she's a cat. But she's not a normal cat (DO YOU EVEN KNOW NINA??) she's a #dramaqueen #glamdream cat. She gets a fashionable furry coat (of course, synthetic-everyone's animalist here) and cat ears (covered in glitter btw). She does her hair and it's EVEN more STUNNING that usuallly (Matthias faints). Her make up is just amazing, and she's voted as the best Halloween costume.

Ready for MagicCon ! (Kuwei Kefta DONE)
My custom Kuwei Kefta is finallllly finished ! After 2 months of embroidery, about 1100m of thread used and many attempts to get the lining and so many other things somewhat right. I am very happy with how it turned out and I'll wear it this weekend (29.10. - 1.11.23) for MagicCon where I once again paid a for my ungodly amount of money just to get some more pics with the cast.
This time I'll not just have pics with Kit but also Freddy and Paddy.
Needsles to say this project was the major reason I haven't made much fanart recently amongst other projects needing my attention too. I will for sure post some art soon (I hope q-q, I do miss drawing Jes and Wy so much)

Kuwei Kefta WIP
Custom headcanon Kefta for Kuwei is coming along so well !! 1.1 km of thread embroidered by hand
I went for a pattern and colour mix between the Inferni and Alkemi Kefta (it is more blue irl than it looks like here)
This is mostly pined together here but once I'm finished with the closing hooks I can add the lining and fur. Belt also still needs to be made.
I can't wait to wear the full cos at MagicCon soon !

Kuwei Kefta actually coming along !!! (all held together by needles rn) and the actual colour is way more blue than it looks here. My phone just can not deal with my light -_-

So for my Kuwei cosplay, I have decided to make a Kefta (because idk I am insane or smth)
And I was going to go for an Alkemi Kefta just bc I like them a lot and I think he deserves one, howeeeever ofc Kuwei is actually an Inferni. I just really dislike the Inferni Kefta shade of blue SO therefore I have decided to make an extra Kefta for Extra Kuwei.
This is kinda my first draft. I'm flipping the dark purple of the Alkemi Kefta to dark blue to fit the Inferni one more and then I'll need to do some more studying of the Inferni and Alkemi embroidery patterns so I can come up with a proper pattern mix between the two.

Officially started working on my custom Kuwei Kefta yesterday. Hope that today I can finish the patern. Will need to make at least one more mockup before I start using the intended fabric... I am tiny but still nutorious for making my patterns too small. This can't be happening here, so idc how often I need to try first °^°
