Merry Little Batman has confirmed it’s release date on December 8th 2023 to begin streaming on Amazon Prime!

I’m being cautiously optimistic if DC is planning on making Damian go back to his rebirth Robin outfit (my fav)!!

I personally hated the grey robin suit yucky

Is Damian possibly going back to his old costume in a few months? I thought he wouldn't because the art they showed when they announced the new Batman and Robin book still had him in the grey costume and his new car is following the grey suits color pattern.

But the epilogue of Dark Crisis had him in his Rebirth suit in Amanda Waller's vision for the future:

Which I originally though was just the artist drawing the wrong suit, happens all the time.

But today the Dawn of DC primer came out and here we have Damian drawn in his old suit yet again:

Curiously just like in Dark Crisis this was also written by Williamson and like in the first picture Amanda Waller is talking about her plans to put a stop to the hero-community.

I think I would prefer him returning to the old suit or a new suit that goes back to the Robin color pattern at least. The only thing really making the grey suit a Robin costume is the R on the chest (plus it has way too many zigzag elements for my taste and feels generally overdesigned).

In other good news, Tim Drake: Robin is FINALLY being canceled! After just 10 issues due to low sales lmao.

I guess talking shit about the other Robins, especially Damian, at every opportunity and having the entire company hyping him up was just not enough to make the so-called world’s greatest Robin interesting enough?

At least when Damian has his books canceled its never for low sales, quit the opposite, both his short solos were one of DC’s most popular and critically claimed books during their time and they only got canceled because DC hated Damian and had horrible plans for him that involved bad things happening to his character.

Now I need them to finally give this grown ass man a new solo identity then give poor Damian, the actual current Robin, his solo back and allow him the bare minimum of appearing in Batman-related books if that wasn’t too much to ask for.
