Unless Zues made a person out of thin air Lester Papadopoulos was an actual guy, so I'm just imagining after Apollo gets sent back to godhood mind you- this random 16 year old kid from Hell's Kitchen utterly confused once he finds out that he somehow ended up in the Corycian Cave (cave of delphi) in the middle of freaking Greece, then later finds out he's wanted in several American states on multiple accounts of dangerous driving

Percy Jackson character x male!reader (gods x reader) (platonic all)
╰・゚✧☽ reader: like klaus from TUA. reader is a little oc in this, but i couldn’t help it. I needed this because I got a funny idea.
╰・゚✧☽ warnings: short , me having little knowledge of what’s to come in the books, not canon just a silly idea
Tumblr media
Camp got new campers every year so it wasn’t like they thought anything of you. The only thing is, you looked too confused to be there, everything Chiron said you would would give him the strangest look. Percy happened to be passing by, you got a tour of camp just like he did. And you were a bit to loud with your words- and let’s face it. He’s a little nosy.
“So you’re saying all the gods just drop their kids off here- or, don’t give them attention until they do something they deem worthy?” You ask like you had no care.
“Really a great idea. Half gods with daddy and mommy issues running around in the same place. Doesn’t sound dangerous at all.” You comment and continued walking with a eye roll.
Percy was interested in you right after that. You made him laugh and shared his views when he first came here, and he still thought them. He didn’t have to wait long to introduce himself since you left Hermes cabin in a rush to get away from people.
You didn’t want to talk to him at first. He tried to introduce himself but you brushed him off and said you weren’t willing to speak.
“I know it’s a lot to take in, but I’m sure you’re parent will claim you.”
You stopped in your tracks and turn around and started to flail your arms. “I am human! I have no godly parent, not like you-. Honestly I wish I was because I would be less concerned about my future.”
“That’s new.” A girl’s voice popped up from behind you and out of no where. A girl with a cap in her hands yanked down from her head, she looked intimidating to you.
“Can you all do that? Just appear out of no where?” You asked slightly scared but amazed.
“Let’s go back to the part where you’re human,” Percy stepped forward like you were a bomb of some sort ready to explode. “Why are you here?” You scuffed and shrugged your shoulders.
“So, i happened to eat a crystal I found in the woods behind my house. It was weird and it had me hypnotized, surprised I didn’t break any teeth, and the next minute I know I’m seeing the dead. And these voices are talking to me, then I’m moved off to this camp.”
“Wait the dead?”
“The gods say I need training before I came to them. Which is weird because you think they would train me themselves…do you guys know what I should do? I have no clue why they want me.” You look at both of them for help but Percy is just staring with his mouth open and shocked. Annabeth looks annoyed and looking you up and down.
“Don’t piss them off.” she was going to be great help.
Months go by and you grow closer to the trio. it was strange how you seemed to have more strength then a human, and could kept up in training with them. not once did you ever get claimed and it still surprised them to this day how you just become something out of the blue. They tried so hard to get their parents attention but you just- stumped upon something and had the gods interests?
yes, you were human. but no longer a human boy, but a god in training.
“did it have to be him? he’s more chaotic then your son Poseidon.” zues rubbed his temple as the gods watch down on you.
“fate is a funny thing brother.“
“I for one love the kid.” ares smirks as you trip percy and let out a vicious scream. nothing evil or mean behind it, just a adrenaline rush. but ares didn’t take it that why, you were going to be a monster.
“I’ll bless him soon, he should stay in my cabin.” Aphrodite smiles and played with her hair.
“We all know he’s basically my child, the dead thing? Yeah, he’ll be staying with me in the underworld when it’s time.” Hades smirks at all of them.
and just like that the gods are starting a war all over again.
Tumblr media
Reader: stumbles upon a crystal
the voices: eat me!!
Reader: No!! Let me go!!
Reader then becomes a god.

If they ever reboot Prototype, there should be a karma system as a secret, hidden mechanic. Your only clues to Alex's karma level is the military's radio chatter dialogue, and the mini-cutscenes used for highjacking vehicles. They may change depending on how much of a dick you've been.
Unlike other games with a morality system, Alex's karma rank at the beginning of of the game doesn't start at "neutral." It starts at the lowest value possible, because everyone assumes the man-eating monster is pure evil unless proven otherwise.
If you keep civilians off the menu and only fight the military in self-defense, then the military's radio chatter regarding "ZUES" will shift to a more lighthearted tone (and even get a bit silly). Hijacking a vehicle will non-lethally evict the current occupants. At really, really high karma, the military will tense up but not automatically attack if they see Alex with his claws (or any of his other powers) out.
Becoming a hero is not an option. The highest karma Alex can get is barely above "neutral" status - at which point the military barely tolerates Alex's presence, and warily accept his assistance with fighting the infected.
At the highest karma, stealing an armored vehicle is much faster, since all Alex has to do is bang on the lid and imperiously order the driver/pilot to get out of the vehicle. When the military's radio chatter speaks of Alex, they talk about him like he's an urban cryptid (or a troublemaking stray dog) instead of a walking nightmare wearing human skin. The tone dissonance is as cheesy as it is hilarious.

AYE I'm gonna ask for that yandere rom Zues falling for Nyx pla obsession
🌩Yandere Zeus w/ Platonic!Yandere!Nyx’s!Darling!Reader🌩
It would have to be by pure dumb luck that Zeus was ever able to come across you given how well protected Nyx keeps her precious darling. It may have even been due to someone else’s negligence in speaking of you in passing when Zeus was around that had his ears perked. Either way he’s intrigued.
Whether he actually knows of his darling’s ties to Nyx or not it wouldn’t stop him from pursuing them. After all, nothing has stopped him before, right? If anything his obsession would only worsen. Knowing that he wouldn’t possibly ever be able to have his darling with Nyx involved would only make him want them all the more. He’s not stupid by any means, he knows he’ll have to play smarter to get what he wants. He knows he’ll have to be patient and he’s willing to, only because he knows the prize will be much sweeter if he is. But that doesn’t mean his patience will last long.
Until Zeus can come up with a plan to interact with his darling without Nyx finding out about it he would enlist someone to watch them for him and he would want to know everything. Especially if they’re mortal. There wouldn’t be a single piece of information he wouldn’t eagerly take in. If his darling was another deity then he would go as far as to interrogate whoever was close to them for information, particularly other gods.
If the darling is mortal then there’s more of a chance of Zeus swooping in sooner rather than later. Given the freedom Nyx allows her darling and how physically hands off she is in her obsession for the most part it wouldn’t be too much of a task for Zeus to get close to them. If he’s aware of all the watchful eyes Nyx has watching over her darling for her then Zeus wouldn’t have a problem turning himself into an animal to interact with his darling. Particularly an animal they’re fond of or something of the sort.
If his darling was another deity I think Zeus would feel like he had a little more control in the situation, more so over the darling than Nyx. He’s the King of the Gods after all, why shouldn’t you trust him? Gives him a good enough reason to interact with you too.
Now Zeus isn’t the only one who isn’t stupid, Nyx would be well aware of the sudden interest Zeus is taking in her darling. She would be very gentle in how she approached handling the situation, more so in regards towards her darling than Zeus. Nyx would prioritize protecting her darling over anything else, not just from Zeus but any other unwanted onlookers. She would be quite interested in how Zeus came to know of her darling so she wouldn’t make the same mistake again. Whether that be due to how she went about protecting them or those she trusted with knowledge of her darling to begin with.
It wouldn’t be too far of a stretch for Zeus to try and turn his darling against Nyx, mortal or not. It certainly isn’t the smartest thing to do, especially given who he’s messing with but Zeus is willing to give it a try. He’d even go as far as to make his darling paranoid of everyone and everything around them, especially a mortal darling who has no idea about Nyx’s attachment. Sure he’s not lying about you being watched 24/7 but did he maybe exaggerate a bit? Maybe. Did he possibly have a few other gods enact in his plan to further your paranoia and his claims? Possibly. Did he just start a war a with Nyx? Yes.
Now let’s not forget about Hera cause of course she’s still around. If Zeus were to somehow get his clutches on his darling he would have to keep them somewhere neither Nyx nor Hera could get to them. And that’s easier said then done, especially given how many other gods Nyx would have looking for her darling. But Zeus isn’t just going to give up. No, he’s waited long enough to have his darling he’s not just going to let them be taken away from him. He’s already come this far, why not go a little further.
Nyx may not be as physically involved as some other gods in their obsessions but she certainly isn’t letting anyone take her darling from her. The only reason she would allow for Zeus to continue testing the waters regarding her darling was to see just how much of a threat he would truly be for her. Maybe she had thought that her name alone would keep him away from you but obviously she had underestimated just how captivated he would become with you, or rather the idea of you. And that was her mistake but she wouldn’t let it go on any longer.
If you were to somehow be swindled away from her, Nyx would scour every nook and cranny looking for you. Nothing could get in her way of having you with her once again. Zeus would certainly not be safe from her wrath. No one would be.

ok so because the brain worms have completely taken over, I've been completely rotating the idea of the stranger things kids godly parents and it won't let me go so here are my headcanons for their godly parents with probably not enough thought put into them-
Dustin as a son of hephestus is probably a really low-hanging fruit, but it's low-hanging for a reason. He's constantly making all sorts of shit and he's constantly thinking about the science before his own life. Plus, I'd just love to see him with fire abilities. see how that plays out.
Stobin I bounced around with a couple ideas. I initially had them as mischief-causing children of hermes, but then I had a better idea- Daughter of Athena Robin and son of poseidon Steve. Here me out ok, her affinity for languages plus her ability to improv plans and stories really gave me those vibes and for Steve, he already spends a bunch of time in the water (swim captain, lifeguard) and he kinda gives me the vibes that he would enjoy just sitting at the bottom of the lake and just chilling (robin is so jealous he can speak in a language she can't and demands to figure out how to speak it too) (Side note I considered making steve a son of aphrodite as a close second bc of the charmspeak and such but poseidon won out)
Max I decided on as a daughter of zues. I loved the idea of giving her that much power plus the tragedy that comes with being a child of the big three. idk less thoughts and more vibes with this one, but I think it could also present some fabulous big brother steve moments with this kind of circumstance. If I were to write this I prob wouldn't follow the pjo plot exactly bc none of these characters are a 1:1 of any pjo counterparts, but I really like the idea of her turning into a tree for some time and accidentally coming back. It would kinda be reminiscent of the coma she's in right now and it could be fun to play with.
Lucas I was really vibing with as a son of apollo. Obviously, because of the ranger thing, I'd love to see him with a bow and arrow, but also because of the healing. @andiwriteordie made an excellent thought post about lucas with healing abilities in reference to him as a water bender and while I think some things would change bc atla and pjo are vastly different worlds, I think the core ideas of Lucas being a healer are still there and I rlly vibe with it. Plus, I. Really like the idea of Glowing Boyfriend. Also I think there's plenty of angst to be said with Lucas trying and trying to heal tree!max with apollo powers but that can't beat zues's spell on her.
This one I haven't had as much thought on, but I loved the idea of Erica also being a child of apollo, but specifically a roman one. It would take a bit for them to realize the difference esp bc I don't think apollo has many changes between greek and roman form and I think it could create an interesting dynamic. less thoughts here but I may have more as I continue my HOO reread. I would love to see her as an archer plus I'm obsessed with that trope of the healer talking to their patients like "you dumb motherfucker stop doing stupid shit and landing your ass here again." but on the other hand, her with plague powers would be so funny. dustin tries to give her this superhero "with great power comes great responsibility" speech and he wakes up with hay fever the next day
Speaking of something I need to reread more info on, I was kinda vibing with the idea of El as a daughter of Hecate. I think her working with magic could be really interesting, but I also don't wanna say much till I've finished my HOO reread and I've read more of Hazel's scenes.
Mike I think would make such a good son of athena. He always has a clever plan ready and things often go wrong when people don't follow his plans. Slightly less relevant but I think his creativity as a DM could really match up with this as well.
Now, Nancy I had a bit of a hard time with. I considered Athena because she always seems to have a plan as well, though I'd take her for a different aspect than, say, Robin, since Nancy kinda blanks out whenever things go off the plan. I briefly considered Nemesis since she's the god of revenge and balance and that felt appropriate, but Athena felt a little more on target.
Eddie I'm kinda vibing as a son of Hermes, that chaotic jack of all trades kind of son of hermes. this one is also mostly vibes, but if I have more thoughts later on I'll add them.
Argyle as a son of demeter i think works well because those kids always gave me very chill vibes and I think that would work well.
Will, I actually saw this somewhere, is a clearsighted mortal. It kinda ties back into his canon true sight and lines up well. I really like the idea of him spouting prophecies, plus, he can instantly see monsters for what they truly are which is really something considering
Jonathan is a child of one of the big three, Hades. I felt it kinda fit with his loner persona and I loved the idea of him shadow traveling, plus him attracting monsters frequently leaves him immensely guilty bc his brother who can see through the mist can spot the monsters immediately and it ends up being the little brother looking out for the older brother??? then in this hypothetical au they run away from home which leaves joyce utterly crushed btw. and by they I mean Jonathan ran away and Will followed after him. Jonathan hated feeling like he was putting will in danger, but will just couldn't leave Jonathan alone with the monsters he couldn't spot 100% of the time or as accurately. it's an utterly vicious cycle. Lowkey considering having jonathan run away with the Wheeler’s, I imagine they’d have an adjacent attitude to annabeth’s stepmom in regard to the monsters. plus I think the angst of Jonathan attempting to shadowtravel them into camp and he finds himself halfway down the hill on the other side as will is banging on the magical shield around camp unable to get in as a monster advances to be utterly delicious.
If I were to write this, there’d probably be no defined main character. Certain drabbles/one shots will focus on different characters, so just bc steve’s the son of poseidon doesn’t mean he’s gonna be the main character like percy.

series masterlist
prologue:
You had been obsessed with Greek mythology when you were young.
Maybe it was the timelessness of it all, the beauty, love, tragedy. The might of the gods like Zues and Poesidon, the fierceness of Athena’s wit, the firm unforgiving curve of Hera’s brow. The constellations in the deep, inky sky called out to you.
You learned to read them, pick them out in each season. Orion and his bow, Sirius, wagging his tail at you from millions of lightyears away. You liked to talk to them sometimes, when it got tough at home. When the yelling came to be too much. You’d hole up in some corner with a book reading, or you’d look out your window and wonder. Speak to the dark and wonder if maybe they could hear you.
They had endured tragedy too, after all. And though a stepfather that hit you wasn’t a nine-headed beast or a minotaur, it might as well have been. You wondered what it would be like to walk among them; in the time of the Gods. To witness Persephone tumbling forth to the underworld as the world opened up from under her, to see Hera’s rage and wrath and pain firsthand, to feel Poseidon's breeze as Aphrodite was born of the sea-foam.
You loved them; the myths. And the fiction that followed them, books inspired by stories thought up millennia ago.
But one goddess always confused you. You always avoided her stories; the fiery goddess of warmth, of belonging. It hurt too much. The deity that controlled the two most powerful things that you could never touch; fire--the piercing, blazing, sting of it all. Beautiful to look at and just out of reach. Enchanting candles and bonfires you could never touch, lest you become another Icarus, and melt away from the heat of it. Fire, the thing only the gods could touch. And the other: Home.
Home, the word felt foreign on your tongue, bitter.
The goddess of belonging, the deity of home. Hestia smiled at you from every page she appeared on, lips curving into a wicked smirk, holding something over your head you knew you could never achieve. Never possess, never grasp.
It was said that Aphrodite was the goddess of love, that you knew. But it was something you didn’t believe; to you, Aphrodite was the goddess of passion. Of deep, rushing urges, flighty decisions. She was the goddess your mother's tumultuous relationship was born of. And though what she and your stepfather had was piercing and painful, there was no love to be found there. That you were sure of.
No, in your mind Hestia was the goddess of true love, not just the shallow illusion of it. Warmth, stability, belonging: these were all characteristics of love itself. Something you’d never known.
Your mother loved you; That much you knew to be true, but it was a tragic type of love. The type the poets and romantics wrote about. Your mother was Ophelia, sinking into the deep. She was Juliet with a dagger piercing her heart. She was Cordelia, dying of a heart broken by betrayal. A love from Aphrodite had made her like this. She had been all but ruined by your father, as you saw it. She loved you, fiercely, but as though she was trying to provide enough for a mother and a father.
She tore herself apart trying to conceal what was truly happening from you; the bruises, the broken glass, the old jeep missing from the drive-way. And when he did take it out on you, she tore herself apart trying to put you back together. And that was tragic. More tragic than the fates of Orpheus and Eurydice. More tragic than the birth of Dionysus. More than Echo’s love for Narcissus.
And so the goddess of the hearth and home taunted you.
Appalachia was a beautiful place to grow up, but for a little girl living in her own head, it could get lonely too. The mountains and foothills of the blue ridges lived in your soul; That much you knew. They spoke to you, told you stories, kept you company where there was none.
Your family had made home here for generations. You were as much a part of the land as it was a part of you. Like the West Virginia license plate said, you grew up the same way: “Wild and Wonderful.” Barefoot and wild, a true daughter of the mountains.
Where there wasn’t a father, there were the wildflowers. When your mother would shut down, go quiet and for once stop pretending that everything was alright, there was the oak tree with a tire swing. Through the fights and the screaming and the slamming, there was always this. The land. The grass beneath your feet, the wind in your hair, and the mountains above your eyes. And when it was too hot to be outside, your books were always there to welcome you back to the fold; to provide escape.
So, though your life wasn’t perfect by any means, you’d always remember your Gramma’s words. She lived miles away--to the east, in Boone County, a place you’d visited only as an infant--but she made the hours-long journey whenever your mother needed her, which was often. When she’d catch you sulking about something trivial, like a lost card game or not being allowed to have sweets before supper, she’d arch an eyebrow at you, hand on her hip and say:
“Watch your spite. Whatever attitude you put out into this world is what you gon’ get back.”
This, you’d think. I can be content with this. And the West Virginia wind was always there to answer you with its gentle swaying, older than the trees.
-
The first thing your mind registered on the day that you ran was the cold hand on your shoulder as you bolted awake, gasping.
It was still dark outside, the sun hadn’t even begun to peek over the horizon beyond the trailer that you’d only called home for a few weeks now. Your room was bathed in darkness, and your eyes adjusted, only being able to make out the rough shapes of the objects in your room.
You opened your mouth to scream, too scared to look beside you at who had grabbed you. You’d heard some girls in your class talking about a girl getting kidnapped only two weeks ago one county over. When her hand closed over your mouth to stop you, you visibly relaxed. You could smell the lemon perfume still splashed across her wrist, faint after what must have been a long shift at the diner. Mommy.
“Shh, shh,” She soothed, her other hand stroking your pajama-clad back, “it’s me, sweetie, it’s mama. It’s just me.”
Your little fists rubbed your eyes groggily, taking in your surroundings. You brushed your crazy bed head away from your eyes. It was dark, and the digital mermaid clock on your nightstand read 3:32 am. At the foot of your bed, there were two suitcases; ones you’d only seen when Kieth, your mom’s boyfriend, had gone away for work trips. You’d looked forward to those times; It was when the house was calmest, when you were allowed to have the windows open (Kieth didn’t like it when you’d leave the windows open; it meant people could “see too much”). Your mom would put on her old Fleetwood Mac records and tell you stories about your daddy--How they met and how they found out they were pregnant with you.
You weren’t allowed to talk about your daddy when Kieth was home. He didn’t like it and he’d get that mean look on his face. The kind that made your mom freeze. You were scared of Kieth. Which was why you didn’t know what his suitcase was doing here instead of tucked away where it belonged. He’d be angry about that, and everyone knew what happened when he got angry.
Your mom smoothed your hair behind your ears, whispering with careful purpose, “Time to get up, sweetie. It’s time to go.”
You furrowed your eyebrows. Go? Go where? It was still nighttime, as far as your seven-year-old brain could tell, and you were tired.
Swallowing a yawn you began, “Mommy--”
“Shh!” She whisper-yelled, hand coming over your mouth once again. In her eyes was a look you’d never seen before. Your mom was scared. Your eyes widened, not fully understanding what was going on, but understanding that something was going on, and whatever it was, it was bad. She inhaled through her nose and through her mouth, slowly lowering her hand.
“I’m gonna explain the best I can, sweetie, but you’re gonna have to be real, real quiet, ok? We gotta hurry.”
You frantically nodded, eyes drawn together in what could’ve only looked like complete terror.
“You and I are leavin’, lovebug. I got all we need here,” she patted the suitcase, “and in the car. We’re goin’.” She explained, looking over her shoulder at the cracked door. You could hear Kieth’s loud snoring from the other room.
“Like on vacation?” You asked in a tiny voice, confused. You’d never been on vacation before; Not a real one anyway. Only weekend trips to Atlantic City with your cousins every now and then. Your mom closed her eyes for a moment before shaking her head.
“No. Not like vacation,” she sighed, reaching up to grab your cheek. “I’m sorry honey, really I am. I’m sorry it took me this long to realize we have to go. But we do.”
You wouldn’t know what she was referring to until years later, not really grasping what she was saying in a half-awake, eight-year-old brain. Years later, you’d realize she was referring to Kieth: how sorry she was that it had taken this long for her to leave him. Still, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, you nodded at her. You hadn’t realized she was crying until she reached up to wipe under her eyes, sniffling.
She hugged you then, tight. Tighter than you think she’d ever held you before. In that moment, you’d thought that it was more for her than you. You hugged her back.
She sighed, “c’mon, baby. Get your shoes on.”
“Where are we gonna go, mama?”
“Gramma’s, honey. She’s got a room all ready for us.” By now she was busying herself with getting your pink tennis shoes on your feet. Standing up, you let her pull your sweatshirt over your arms.
She looked younger like this, you thought. Like a Princess, here in the moonlight under the cover of nighttime. Here the darkness hid the dark circles and worry lines that made her look older than she actually was. She grabbed your hands.
“Okay, now we’ve gotta walk really quietly, honey. You’re gonna have to put your feet where mine were, do you think you can do that?”
You nodded, peeking around the door, half expecting Kieth to be standing there, hand raised. You silently thanked whatever god was out there that Kieth had never let you get a dog—you didn’t know if you’d have been able to take it with you.
With careful, slow steps you creeped down the dark hallway, dodging the floorboards you knew to be creaky.
After ten minutes of careful precision—well, as much precision as a half-asleep ten-year-old can have—you made it to the old pick-up that had belonged to your father. The gravel crunching beneath her feet, your mother lifted you up into the back seat. After jumping into the front seat herself, she took a deep shuddering breath before slowly turning the ignition, eyes squeezed shut. The gear moved into drive, and head leaned against the window, you slept soundly, without fear, for the first time in years.
By the time you woke up, it was almost five o’clock. The sun was slowly beginning to show its rays, the sky fading from a deep indigo into a light yellow. You looked out the windows at the mountains, thankful that at least one thing felt familiar. The blue ridges always did.
Your mother turned back, smiling at you. A real smile. It made your heart stutter a bit.
Maybe Hestia hasn’t abandoned me, you thought, thinking back to the days when you’d curse the name of the goddess of fire. Back when you actually believed in the goddess of fire.
“Well look who decided to wake up,” your mother smiled, her eyes crinkling. You stifled a yawn, stretching.
“What’s going on?” You asked apprehensively. “Why did we just leave like that? Mama, when we get back he’s gonna be—“
“We aren’t going back.”
You blanked. Not going back? What? The amount of times you’d wished for this exact scenario were too many to count. You should be happy. But what would you do? Would you live with grandma? Where were your things? You only packed one suitcase and your friend Emma had borrowed your Mulan TShirt—oh and school! Where would you go to school—
Your mother said your name. Your eyes snapped to hers in the rear view.
“It’s gonna be okay. I've got a plan, we’ll be fine.”
She paused and you turned to look at the trees passing by. She sighed before speaking again, “okay?”
“Okay.”
“Good. Oh look!” She gasped, pointing to her right, at a bright green sign.
Now Entering Boone County
“We’re here!” She sighed. “I haven’t been back here since your daddy…” She trailed off, but you knew what she meant. She hadn’t been back here since your daddy had died. Keith wouldn’t let her.
Gazing out of the window at the moving trees, you only thought of what lie ahead. You’d moved enough times in your life, first for your dad’s military postings, and then because Kieth never liked to stay in one place for too long. This wasn’t new, but something about it felt that way. You’d like to stay in one place for a while after this one, you thought. As you watched the hills and farms and houses, the sun began to rise, coloring it all gold. You could get used to this.
As you entered the town, you felt it in your chest: this was going to be home. You were sure of it.

Omg please hades son Oscar is what I need. He’s friends with Lando and they are the duo that everyone is scared of in camp cause they are children of the big three but in reality Oscar is really calm and very self-aware when it comes to his powers. Well Lando not so much because he likes the fact he’s so powerful, unlike Oscar. But Oscar always tries to control him as much as he can and it works. I can so see Max coming into camp later and he’s super insecure and guarded because of that. But the two warm their way into his heart eventually and now kids worry not only about Hades’ and Poseidon’s sons but also Zeus’. They are the new big three however their father don’t like it.
Oscar would date Demeter’s daughter and they are the perfect balance to each other. She’s life and he’s death and it’s just the way it was always supposed to be. I can see Lando dating Hades’ daughter so well basically Oscar’ sister and when Oscar finds out it’s the only time he looses control and maybe they have this epic fight that ends in half of the camp destroyed and them hugging each other in the end because it’s stupid to fight they can just talk it out (they can’t. Oscar just has to deal with it). Who would Max date??? I can maybe see Athena’s daughter? It fits I think.
Or well Charles. Charles is always a good idea
tbh i kinda want the big 3 kids to be only children like in the percy jackson series bc it adds a lil extra drama to be forbidden children, plus w lando as a poseidon kid i kinda want him w an athena daughter to keep up w the stupid boy/smart girl dynamic that percy and annabeth have because its sooo cute. my fav
if oscar had a sister, and lando dated her, there wouldn't even be a chance a fight, oscar would open the ground up and send him straight down to daddy. gf standing off to the side like 😦 did you just- did you just send my bf to hell? and oscar’s like oops sorry, i passively thought that i wished the ground would swallow him whole when i saw you holding hands but i didn’t expect it to happen? everyone in camp is staring down the ravine going through camp and then looking to oscar with fear in their eyes and he’s just like ): dont look at me like that im sure he’ll be back soon. my dad will get sick of him real quick.
lando’s in hades's realm playing fetch with cerebus and chatting up old spirits. hades pissed because some idiot is distracting his guard dog again. few hours goes by and lando appears in the middle of camp, a little dirty from his impromptu dive underground, but okay. gf doting on him and oscar's sick of it but doesn't make the world eat him again.
could also work w a lil love triangle/thrupple moment where oscar and her are best friends and he's hopelessly in love w her but thinks he has no shot and then he sees her and lando flirting and next thing you know a hole is opening under lando's feet and he's got a one way ticket to visit hades.
i could see max with a daughter of aphrodite, he’s normally very confident bc he’s so strong, once he settles into the camp all the girls are crushing on him and he flirts w them all so easily except for her. any other child of aphrodite yea sure pretty or whatever. but he sees her like picking berries with oscar’s gf from demeter and just stops and stares and oscar is like “y’know my girl can put in a good word for you!” and max gets all flustered and is like “im a son of zues, i don’t need help picking up girls.” oscar daring him to go talk to her if he doesn’t need help, and max doesn’t back down from any challenge so he goes to talk to her. he gets a few steps away and forgets how to speak, the rehearsed lines fade away and he’s turning around just before he gets to them. he rushes back to oscar like, okay yeah. maybe ask her to put in a good word. he goes so stupid around her and all he can think ab is how pretty she is, how nice the sound of her voice is, how pillowy her lips look.
or we talked about a nemesis child, max could date a child of nemesis and she’s sooo protective over him and will fuck w anyone who bothers him. someone makes an offhand remark about him and they have bad luck for a week. injures him sparring and they get hurt twice as bad by their next opponent. her and him flying together, holding hands and zipping through the clouds, her with actual wings and him just using the wind.

🥰🥰🥰
Wearing my new shawls is my favorite thing! @nestingtendencies sent me my new true loves, my lovely Evia and my darling Rhubarb n Cream!
I love styling my outfits to try and find a matching color coordinated outfit with the gradients. Blues are so hard to come close and I have some other outfits I want to try it with. But I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Rhubarb the best, the edges are my favorite part, and the gradient of creams to reds and pinks so delicate and lovely!!!
Also, I’ve been having a lot of fun wearing them in different ways! I love having the point of it draped over my shoulder to showcase the shape and pattern, but having it around my neck with the tails in front is so chic tbh 👀 there really is so many ways to wear it!
Tumblr media
even on a bright pink sweater, still rhubarb and cream is like a cherry on top!
I feel so fancy 🥰🥰🥰 wearing the most pretty shawls in the world 🥰🥰

hello, i would like to hear about the titans fantasy au O.O
Oh man, you really shouldn't enable me like this... but if you insist!!
Alright, here's the setting: We're in some weird Lord of Rings/DnD fantasy setting with various magical creatures and inconsistent technological developments. Were tunics worn at the same time as ball gowns? Were carriages used at the same time as broad swords? I don't know! And I'm not doing any historical research! It's just haphazardly medieval!
Donna, for the most part, is relatively unchanged. She fits into this setting rather well. She is the demigod daughter of Zues, warrior in training, third in line to be Queen of the Amazons. At 13 years old she is a new arrival from her island nation and she is hoping to learn monster hunting (she's hoping to learn by doing). The one condition of her joining Diana was that she was supposed to stay with Diana at all times. Both of them nodded and smiled in agreement when their mother, the Queen, said this. Both immediately parted ways once their boat hit the shores of this new and exciting world.
Speaking of new and exciting, the King of Atlantis' ward is tagging along for the first time to see the surface world. Garth is fascinated (and a little terrified) and he's hoping to learn new types of magic! The Crown Prince (his older brother) Koryak says that he will make a fearsome mage one day and he really doesn't want to let him down. Garth imagines that one day his brother will rule as King and Garth will be there at his side as the Head Mage. He really has to work on his skills to get to that point though! Hence studying abroad. He's also... maybe... looking to meet some friends. Or any friends, really. He doesn't have any and he's heard good things.
Lord Richard of Gotham is so tired of politics. His... 'father' is the Crown Prince, next in line for the throne of Gotham. Not that anyone, including Bruce, is happy about it. The Kane family has had the crown for centuries and now, because the King only had daughters and Bruce's mom had the audacity to marry a Wayne (their rival house), they stand to lose it all. Thankfully, Bruce's status as Crown Prince is only temporary. As soon as Princess Kate Kane is married off, her husband will automatically be next in line. (Although they've sure been taking their time with that. What's the hold up?) So Bruce doesn't have to ever worry about being King and Dick (as Bruce's totally legitimate love child that Bruce didn't make up to make sure Dick could inherit everything if he ever died, don't do the math on their ages) doesn't ever have to worry about the throne at all. Sure, he's technically second in line but it's as far away from reality as a nightmare and just as scary. For right now all Dick has to worry about is being a squire, going on adventures and learning how to be a great knight! What could go wrong!?
Crown Prince Elroy is fucked. Seriously fucked. The old Crown Prince Oliver saw Roy at an archery competition and decided 'Yeah, that one.' Ollie offered him a room, food and all the arrows he could ever want. When Roy found out that Ollie was taking a page out of Robin Hood's book, Roy was overjoyed. The two of them had a blast stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. It was great! And then Ollie's father, the King, found out. He disowned Ollie, not that Ollie cared, and life went on as normal with one major giant exception. The King didn't have any other children (legitimate children anyway) and Ollie was now disowned. So the King legitimized Roy as Oliver's bastard child and heir. Or, sorry, Elroy because apparently 'Roy' wasn't fancy enough. Now Elroy is the Crown Prince. Elroy is under lock and key so that Ollie can't influence him. Elroy is being forced to study. (The King promised him that this was just to make Ollie see reason but Roy isn't so sure... the King is putting a lot of effort into his training...) The only saving grace is that Roy is being sent away this summer to learn sword fighting. Archery is 'a cowards sport' apparently and Roy 'needs to expand his horizons'. Well.. they certainly agree on that last one. Roy is making a break for it and he's not coming back.
Wally is a young apprentice working for his Uncle Barry. He's learning how to make medicine and treat wounds and find useful herbs. At least, he's learning that sometimes. A lot of his time is spent being a delivery boy. Uncle Barry says that's an important part of any medical treatment, actually delivering the medicine. Wally thinks that he just wants him to burn off energy. Regardless, Wally spends most of his time delivering medicine and he does it well. It helps that he can cross the continent before most people can blink their eyes. He can't tell anyone that though. Barry has made that part extremely clear. As far as their patients are concerned, Barry is a local doctor who just lives outside of whichever town they're in. There's a lot of things Wally can't tell people. Like how his eyes glow and magic lights up on his fingertips when he's excited. Or how he doesn't really like hats, he just has to wear them to hide his slightly too pointy ears. He gets it. He does. He's heard the whispered stories of fae, the hushed talk of changelings, he's read the old cracked tomes on the Elven Folk. He knows what people will think he is. But he isn't. He really isn't. He's just... Wally. And sure, he might be a little bit odd but he's just as human as the next guy, he swears!
Donna finds herself left on the doorstep of the greatest monster hunters in this new world. Garth is accepted to shadow some of the best defense mages ever. Dick finds himself stopping in with some fellow Knights (he is soon to be one after all) on his way home after a particularly hard mission. Roy finds himself shipped off to learn sword fighting from some 'trusted experts'. Wally is on a routine delivery run to drop off some supplies for his Uncle's good friends. Whether it's fate or something far more sinister, they all find themselves at the temple of the Knights of the Emerald Flame. Sir Hal Jordan, who was not ready for the sudden onslaught of children, panics and gives them a mission to get them out of his hair.
The rest, as they say, is history.

You know what I want to see a lot more of? Cultural meshing or whatever the hell you call it. I want to see how human and na'vi culture (among other things) could be learned and respected by both sides. For so long, all the Na'vi have really experienced is the war side of humans, and though I agree that we as a species can be pieces of shit (especially to our planet, etc) I also want to see the highlighting of all of the culture and stuff we've created over the thousands of years we've existed. I want someone to continue what Grace started and could have continued to grow until it flourished if it weren't for that fateful day.
I want to see two friends, one human and one na'vi, speaking to eachother. Only the human is a language nerd/polyglot and is enthusiastically trying to find out everything they can about the Na'vi language and its various dialects while at the same time excitedly introducing their na'vi friend to words in not just English but Spanish, Greek, etc. They're so excited to be teaching their Na'vi friend English while at the same time learning Na'vi and showing them all the cool language families back on Earth. I want them to explain the concept of a dead language, how things can fade with time, how without our ancestors voices there is a constant shift generation after generation, slow but sure. ("Oh, so you guys say herwìva! That's so cool, we call them snowflakes in English. Oh, and look: in French they're called flocon de neige.")
I want to see a bright-eyed young religion/other enthusiast chatting away about Eywa and all of the Na'vi stories all the while having no problem showing their na'vi friend the absolutely ridiculous amount of books on mythology, demonology, christianity, and all that other stuff. Folklore, fairytales, you name it! ("Yeah, and then Zues banged another lady! I know, he never learns!")
I want some random tree-lover fighting for what little trees are still left on Earth to get so excited that he makes entire slideshows about all of the trees they had back on Earth and are fighting to bring back and what so many of them symbolize, etc. ("What's that? Oh, no, you can't really build a home inside a redwood tree. Uh. . . maybe a treehouse? Wait, you guys don't have treehouses? Omg we have to build one! We'll only use fallen branches, I promise! Pretty please!")
I want to see a poet or writer roll up onto Pandora with their ungodly amount of literature who loves reading to the na'vi children and teaching them how to write fun little poems, etc, all while at the same time paying close attention to the na'vi stories and writing them down, compiling them and even memorizing some of them to connect more with her students. ("I am sam, am I am, do you like green eggs and ham?" "And then the brave Entu snook up behind the might Toruk. . ."
I want games of London bridge and ring-around-the-rosie played right alongside traditional na'vi child games, young children connecting with young na'vi. ("And then you bring your arms down around him and boom! He's out!" "Ooh, what's that you're doing? I wanna try! Do all na'vi play this game?")
I want fun cooking/food classes where they alternate between learning about na'vi food culture and human food culture and they get to truly see how rich the na'vi food culture is while at the same time seeing the same thing about people on Earth. ("I promise you, ice cream is man's best fucking invention ever! And there's so many different kinds and so many different ways of making it, too! Hey, what do you guys do for dessert? Are they fruit based?")
I want trips to places like the beach where a sweet instructor brings pictures of beaches on Earth in the past and shows the others where crabs would have been or some other oceanic shit all while the na'vi instructor teaches them about Pandora's beaches. (no reason in particular for this one, I've just been wanting to go to the beach recently 🤷)
I want people who rode horses (both for equestrian sports and pleasure) to be in awe of the pa'li and to show the na'vi various different moves, games, etc, that they did on their horses via pa'li through things such as videos, pictures, all that fun stuff. ("And this right here is called puissance. You have no idea how long me and my horse had to train to make it safely over that jump!")
I want humans explaining the sheer amount of effort it takes in bonding with an animal. Months, years. And even then you can never be too sure. There is no tsaheylu, no "becoming one". We have to work hard, so hard, for every skill. Every trick. Everything. And even when all is done, there is always the chance of miscommunication. Of you making one wrong move and a horse you've known since you were four bucking you off, or your dog biting you if not trained properly. We are never one, always separate, no matter how close we get. Understanding only goes so deep, and yet we take risks day in and day out because we love our dogs and horses and any other animal we may have conflicts with.
I want humans explaining the fear. And yes, everyone feels fear (especially when colonial idiots pull up *cough* Quaritch *cough*), but for humans? It has always been a constant. There is no Eywa. Our perception of everything is completely different from a na'vi, who spends their whole life connected to their planet. We are alone in our minds, in our perception. When we die, there is only death. Our ancestors are lost in the wind. We are each left to interpret everything in the ways we know how, and we are so weak. Killed so easily. Everything is a threat. The ocean, a tree, animals, mountains, nature. Everything that gives us life takes it away, only there is no Eywa telling us that it is alright. That there is balance. For us, there is just panic and pain and fear, as we are attacked from all sides, begging for answers we'll never get. So we protect ourselves in the only ways we know how. Houses. Machines. And the fear, over time, our justification. (Not sure if what I'm trying to say made any sense at all lol.)
And I want na'vi taking this in, not forgiving us for our wrongdoings (because we have no right to ask that of them) but for them to just see us the way they claim to see so much. For them to see us and us to see them and for there to be understanding. No "demons". No "savages". Because that's not how it is. It's just two different mindsets brought on by two very different planets.
But what I want most of all?
A slushy tbh. Gonna go drive to my local 7/11 now. That's enough depression for one day.
Wow what a very emotional ask! I really love this! My favorite human things that fics tend to have Jake bring to the Omaticaya are small but meaningful I think. Curse words, photos and videos, children's games (the marking their height on the wood!!), high fives and pinky swears, flipping people off, books, and slang for sure.
In regards to most of this I think Norm is your GUY. I refuse to believe he doesn't teach his 50 million adopted children to read and write along with history and culture and biology, Earth and Pandora. The rest of the village kids TOTALLY get in on these lessons they all want to learn, they get jealous of their friends. Norm taking over and restructuring Grace's school is my FAVORITE headcanon, I love the idea that Spider joins him in lessons after he gets older if he never gets an avatar or gets Eywa blessed.

Percy jackson x F! Zues!reader
Warning!: Kissing, Hickeys,Violence, and thats it!
Have fun!! ♡:)
Summary: you and percy are frenemies. And you have feelings for each other, and you guys were teamed up in capture the flag.
It was the afternoon, and you and percy were at training, and you two had to work as a team against two hermes kids, But there were two little problems..You two didn't like each other that much, You two had...differences..I mean you had lightning and he had water, water and lightning don't mix, at all! And you were a little shorter than him just by an inch and he always made fun of it, But over the past few months you grew to his height. So when he found out he didn't like it, when you two were sitting on a rock waiting for the hermes kids to attack, he looked at you and said, "Hey, Y/n, are we the same height? ' 'Cuz were are looking at each other without struggle", "Yeah, We are, Seaweed brain" you said to him, "That's good i guess.., now i can do this." He leaned towards you trying to kiss you, but you put your hand on his face pushing him away, "Not a chance, Seaweed brain"you said to him, "Oh, Come on! Just one little kiss? PLEASE?" He begged, you shook your head, but he continued asking, you were getting annoyed,"If i kiss you will you be quiet?"You asked, he nodded. Ypu rolled your eyes,"Fine" you kissed him on the lips and then pulled away, "Happy no-" you got cut off by percy smashing his lips into yours, he quickly pulled away, Smiling "Percy!" You yelled, "What- What was that?!"You asked, "Just me kissing you"he grinned. You pushed him off the rock. "Worth it!"He grunted. While putting a thumbs up in the air. He got up and sat back down. You rolled your eyes, "Come on, I know you liked it." He teased, you looked away trying to hide your smile, "Maybe i did.." you said, "I knew it!"He said proud of himself, "Shut up, Seaweed brain." You rolled you eyes and looked at him," and by the way, If you're gonna kiss me, Then Kiss me somewhere thats not used to speak." You said to him, He smirked, "okay." He moved closer to you and started kissing your neck "percy!" you said, he sucked on your neck leaving a hickey and did the same on another spot on your neck, leaving another one, "Percy!"you said,"Thalia is gonna ask me who did it!" You said, "oh, come on just sat that it's from the campfire or lightning!" Percy said "that's not gonna work and you know it!"you said, "Shh!" You told him, you heard noises in the bushes....
To be continued..
I'll make a part 2 soon!

i’m going in depth about each of the first 10 cabins, how i feel their portrayed through the series, and powers i feel they should have. starting with zues and ending with aphrodite (minus hera and artemis)
zues: i think that the zues cabin had really good representation with jason and thalia (two pretty main characters with their respective series’s) in my opinion they were seen as a power cabin, extremely strong, a leader when fit, very powerful over others (intimidation) and just powerful in general. they should have defined had more powers that just naturally happened and they didn’t have to make happen, like static electricity is much stronger than it should be, sparks when their very happy (that one’s my personal favorite), they become attracted to people a lot easier than other people, but they should have some extremely strong powers sense zues is literally the god of olympus, like they (thalia in this case sense her powers are more lightning based) can summon bolts of lightning that are strong enough to set fire in a 5 ft radius, or they (jason) can make the wind form a tornado that can rip houses to shreds.
poseidon, i skipped hera cuz she has no kids: poseidon has very, very good representation in the series (the main character) and again this cabin is definitely seen as a very powerful cabin (all of the big three ones are) seeing as percy is the only one in this cabin we won’t really ever know if there is a different set of powers that he doesn’t have (like how hazel has gems and nico has necromancy or how jason has wind and thalia has lightning) so i’m going to just say all of the powers i think they could have. obviously a lot of people have established blood bending as a power he probably does have and i have to agree, and pee bending but that’s a whole different story. like this man could probably make someone’s bladder explode. another power could be the power to summon earthquakes, like they could control how bad it is, there could be ones so inefficient that maybe bother but an empty solo cup or a paper plate would shake, but there could be ones that could destroy entire cities and kill millions. also they can talk to horses
demeter: i have stated several times before that i think demeter cabin is extremely underrepresented throughout all of the series’s, yes there’s meg, who was a main character in toa but she was in the last book series that has been writen. before that there was little to no representation at all. this cabin is definitely seen as a very peaceful cabin, maybe not as much as hypnos but definitely close. they need a lot more ability’s that happen naturally (just like zues), like flowers naturally sprout or whither depending on their emotions, whenever they’re near plants they grow a little bit faster. demeter is also an underworld goddess so not only can they grow plants but they can kill them too (and probably control the mist). they can fertilize and/or compost soil within seconds.
ares: i think that area got pretty good representation (clarisse, frank) ares isn’t seen as a cabin that is necessarily powerful but more of a cabin the craves power and do what ever it takes to get it, that’s why they have so much, people are scared of them. i think that they should be able to summon weapons and armor at will, they should have a power like charm speak but instead of people being charmed into doing the speakers bidding their scared shitless and have no choice but to. they think their above everyone and think their powers are exceeding everyone else’s.
athena: athena’s caning got good representation just really shitty abilities, like what can they even do? their seen ad a leader cabin, like no matter what that’s the cabin you should take instruction from, no matter the situation. again they should have a power like charmspeak that they can only use in a life or death situation or when in dire need to use it, like to give orders to an incorporative soldier or to make it so a monster doesn’t kill them. everywhere they go people feel beneath them. they should be able to intake the knowledge of a book by just touching it, fiction or nonfiction but only in a language they are fluent in. also they can read in almost every language just they can’t speak or write in that language. they, like ares, can summon any weapon or price of armor at will.
apollo: apollo cabin got pretty decent representation, i say that because of apollos role in toa but the other series’s they were maybe mentioned for a chapter of two. they’re seen as a neutral cabin, but it varies depending on what they’re doing, like if it’s archery or health related, then they’re seen as more powerful than the average demigod. but if it’s music related they’re just seen as average even though they’d be better, it’s just because it isn’t battle related. they’d definitely have some really cool powers sense apollo is the god of so many things, like they can make people tell the truth or detect when they’re lying, or they can cause plagues. apollos also a god of agriculture so they could have abilities much like the demeter kids just not as good, like maybe they can help plant growth . he is ALSO the god or order and beauty (he isn’t the only one, adonis is the official) so maybe they have a better understanding of the law than a normal person, or they can charmspeak like the aphrodite cabin. and they should be able to speak italian
i am not going over artemis because while yes her cabin is in use sometimes, she doesn’t have demigod children.
hephaestus: they have really shitty representation in the pjo books, i can’t think of them being mentioned at all besides charles , then in hoo when leo (can’t remember if harley was hoo) comes in it gets gradually better. they’re seen as a needed cabin, as they make all the weapons and technology that’s in camp, but the demigods themselves aren’t seen as very powerful or authoritative. they need better abilities, like i can’t think of many that they actually have besides leo’s fire thing. being able to build something really well isn’t an ability. they should be able to weld things with their hands or work with extremely hot things (like glass) without the need for gloves. their bodies should be able to survive in fire for a short amount of time, they should be able to feed a fire without actually putting anything in it.
aphrodite: this cabin gets pretty good representation through pjo with selena but it gets a lot better in hoo with drew and piper. they’re also seen as a peaceful cabin, which makes sense because they don’t have many combat related abilities, their charmspeak could be used in combat but probably isn’t. they should be able to make two people fall in love, it doesn’t matter if the two want to or not. they should also be able to make people fertile, it wouldn’t mess up that persons cycle at all. they can heal people who have any sort of sexual difficulties (not being able to cûm or not being able to feel sexual pleasure in general)
