we're finally getting some Cambridge flashbacks and I couldn't resist bringing Ossë in. He's 200% a Fluid Mechanics student.
She found Mairon and his roommate Ossë locked into what looked like an intense debate on the elemental origin source of life on Earth.
“You and water…”
“You and fire!” Ossë scoffed “Mark my word Mairon, we will find water on Mars before you manage to resolve your stupidly complicated cosmological equation!”
The redhead rolled his eyes then grabbed the notebook he had been scribbling obscure maths formulas in and almost shoved it to Ossë’s face with a frown.
“I will have it solved before you even manage to ask Uinen out.”
“Mairon, Mairon, this is a terrible gamble because I will win no matter what.”
“Care to bet?”
Ossë was fully smirking by then as he leaned back on his chair.
“Since you will lose go ahead Mai, name your price.”

For my followers who are specifically following me for Genshin content here are my plans/ideas going forward
First of all I will never ever write an imposter! AU
It doesn't interest me in the slightest. I have no desire to write my favorite characters trying to hunt me down and kill me. I'll never write it.
also I write for all my girly girls. Any genshin piece I write will always be AFAB/female reader. I write for the girly girls, the sub girls, the girls who love pink and dresses, the dainty girls. I write for you. So if you're also a high femm girly you will love my goddess reader.
and and I don't want to write a full on yandere cult au. I like the idea of all the characters being transfixed, fascinated by you. Like everybody loves you but they're not all just willing to throw their own morals away to follow your command. A nice balance is what I want. Like everyone wants your attention, wants your love but not everybody is willing to die/kill for you(expect Childe in every universe he's down bad for you)
Some scenarios I have in my head already
Um I have already in the works a really long Wanderer smut piece. You probable still wont see it for the next few weeks because I want it to be very cleaned up and polished. I want to put a lot of effort in it. Its Wanderer having some dubious intentions and trying to manipulate you into sleeping with him hehe
What I also want to do, I think it will be more organized on AO3. Is I want to just make a fic that's just titled like SAGAU: Cyno ficlets/ um something lol And it will just be out of order chapters that just focus on CynoXGoddess reader or you know insert character here XGoddess reader.

Crouching, Rudy stifled a cackle as keys clinked outside. The door swung open, and as the lights came on, he jumped out from behind the couch.
“¡Sorpresa!” he exclaimed with his hands thrown up before his grin dropped.
“Holy shit!” Your brows shot up, hand frozen on the light switch. “Who- Who are you? What are you doing here?”
“Mierda,” he muttered, reaching for the cake he’d set on the dining table. “I’m sorry, I thought this was my sister’s.”
“Uh… Rudy?”
He frowned. “How do you know my name?”
“I’m Dani’s friend. It is her place. I was going to surprise her.” You tilted the pan of warm cinnamon rolls towards him. You were glad you didn’t drop them earlier.
He let out a relieved laugh as he sat down. “For a second I thought I came to the wrong apartment. Come in, come in.”
You closed the door and made your way to the table with your gaze casted down, unwrapping the pan beside Rudy’s cake.
“Hey, I remember you. Are you her friend from university? You moved here recently, no?”
Daniela had shown you plenty of her family photos with the accompanying stories throughout your years of friendship. Even if you never told her, she picked up (too fast) that you found Rudy handsome and teased you about it.
Him recognising you made your cheeks even hotter. You wondered what else she told him.
“Yes,” you mumbled, pulling out the chair across him.
“You have any idea what time she’s coming home? I waited over an hour in the dark. It was getting really boring.”
You chuckled, looking up at him. He had a light stubble with scars on his face the photos never picked up. His loose white shirt hung perfectly from his figure as he leaned back, a shadow of his chest hair peeking over the neckline. He was much more attractive up close.
“She texted me she was heading home. Should be here in 5, 10 minutes.”
“I need payback for waiting so long.” He smiled devilishly and eyed the cinnamon rolls. He leaned in and cocked an eyebrow. “I know just how to annoy her.”
You laughed. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
He nodded in approval. “You’re a good friend. I like you.” He grabbed two forks from the kitchen drawer before carving a roll out. “Did you know she had this phase when we were teenagers? She got every kind of cinnamon soap, candle, essential oil... I hated the smell, didn’t want to go to her room for months.”
“She’s still got those candles in her room.”
He rolled his eyes. “Oh Lord.” He handed you one half on the fork.
You couldn’t wipe the delight off your face as you chewed. He smiled too, the warm gaze of his caramel eyes melted you. You looked away, heart racing. Was it from sharing a little treat or the thrill of being mischievous?
You gestured at the Yoda cake. Old you are, it said on the bottom.
“She, uh, doesn't like Star Wars... At all.”
“Exactly.” He smirked.
“You really love pranking her, huh.”
“She told you?”
“Of course. Told me when she broke your action figure one time, you took the training wheels off her bike.”
“I remember. I took them to school so she couldn't find them, but I lost them instead. Our parents got so mad at me.” He barked out a laugh. “But she ended up learning how to ride a bike properly, so I guess I didn't totally mess up.”
You smiled, finding their relationship endearing. “She misses you a lot, you know. Says she doesn't see you enough even that your base is here.”
“She does?” He sighed. “I do too. Unfortunately my deployments can get unpredictable.”
“I mean siblings are rarely as close as you both. Sometimes I even wish the same for myself,” you said wistfully.
His gaze softened. “That's true. Thanks for telling me, I'll-“
The sound of a car’s locking beep made you tear your eyes off his. “That’s her!”
“Quick, help me turn the lights off.” He stood, chucking the dirty spoons in the sink.
You did, and he guided you to the back of the couch with his phone. Crouching next to each other in the dark, you couldn’t deny his alluring presence, his warmth radiating off him. He smelt clean and fresh of soap, and you itched to lean in a touch closer.
“I hope to see you again soon," he breathed. The light from outside illuminated his sincere smile just enough. "Maybe I can show you around town.”
You bit your lip, averting your gaze. "I'd like that," you muttered.
On the floor, his fingers brushed over yours. “First one to make a noise loses,” he teased. “Then you’ll have to take the fall for the missing cinnamon roll.”
Despite the warning, you let out a chuckle, your heart thumping.
"Shhh," he said as footsteps approached, still smiling.
The door unlocked, and the both of you stood as the lights flicked on.
"Surprise!" "¡Sorpresa!"
Daniela yelped but soon grinned from ear to ear. "Oh my God, you guys!"
Rudy took his cake, wrapping his arm around her at the door. “Happy birthday to my favourite sister.”
She glanced at the cake and gave him an unamused look, shaking her head.
“Happy birthday, Dani!” You pulled her into a hug and presented your gift.
She threw her head back in laughter. "I don't need to ask who did this." She smacked Rudy's arm. "You took my favourite piece!"
He looked way too pleased with himself.
Daniela suggested the three of you go out for dinner. The Parras spoke in English to include you, but they couldn’t help slipping into Spanish here and there. You could only smile in amusement watching them tease each other, Rudy glancing over ever so often as if to ensure if you were having a good time too.
When Rudy excused himself to the bathroom, Daniela shot you a knowing look. She wrapped an arm around your shoulder, pulling you close.
“Never would have guessed this is how you were going to meet him, but I hope you enjoyed dinner.”
You gave her a bashful smile. “I did, he’s really nice.” And handsome.
“I’m happy you both finally met. Judging by the way he kept looking, I think you might have a date soon.” She raised an eyebrow, and it occurred to you who she probably picked up the habit from.
You couldn’t help stealing a glance when Rudy walked back to the table. His snug jeans accentuated the way his hips moved as he strode casually. His well-defined arms were on display with his hands in his pockets. He had no right looking so good in such a simple outfit.
“I think I’m going to call it a night,” Daniela announced. “Rudy, would you be so kind to walk her home?”
His eyes locked with yours. “It would be my pleasure.”
After exchanging your goodbyes, Daniela left after giving you one last satisfied smile. She couldn’t be more obvious in setting the both of you up. You had to bake her more cinnamon rolls.
During the walk, Rudy slowed down to your pace when he realised he was walking too fast. Like the gentleman he was, he also offered you his arm which you took with joy. He even made sure to have you walk on the inside of the pavement, keeping you away from traffic. Along the way, he told you of the few places he’d been in the area, adding that he was open to discovering more since he wasn’t very familiar with it yet.
Your feet grew heavier the closer you were to home. You enjoyed clinging onto him a little too much as you chatted. Satisfaction bubbled in your chest whenever you got him to laugh, watching the little crinkles by his kind eyes. You adored the calming silkiness of his voice and how his R’s curled.
At your door, you reluctantly let go of his arm, turning to him.
“I meant it when I said I hope to see you again.”
You beamed at him. You hesitated, but braved yourself to step in for a hug.
He gave you a squeeze and you squealed into his shoulder, making him chuckle. When he pulled away, you hoped your blush wasn’t too apparent.
“Would you like to come in for some tea?”

I guess the thing we want to say is, would you give us a chance?" He flashed that charming smile to you, and paired with Gayatri's love-filled gaze, you almost melted

Just binge watched Lucifer on Netflix and now I present to you:
Desmond Miles survives 2012 (Desmond Miles Lives truthers, where ya at?), gets the hell outta dodge from the temple with new POE powers, and gets hired to work at Lux in LA. Meets his new boss and both of them are like, "!"
Lucifer instantly knows this boy is hella special because, damn does his soul reek of Isu Bullfuckery. (Headcanoned God and his Angels are sort of a rival interdimensional species to Isu, and God is the one who supposedly gave humans free will... idk I never paid attention to bible study anyway.)
Does the whole, "what do you desire?" schtick and Desmond, due to POE powers and Isu Bullshittery, wonders 'why the fuck is actual Satan here in LA?'
I imagine a platonic bromance relationship between these two. Y'know? 'Cause on the one hand we have the Reluctant Ruler of Hell and on the other hand the Reluctant Savior/Sacrificial Lamb of Humankind.
Lucifer could offer safety and protection from whoever Desmond is hiding from, while Des can be his bartender/bouncer/very much-needed BFF. And come on, I betcha good ole Lucy boy (and Maze) would absolutely enjoy dragging a couple a lot of Abstergo people Vidic down to Hell for multiple crimes against humanity(i.e. kidnapping and unethical human experimentation which results in mental instability.)
I’m all in for this idea. Desmond and Lucifer being bash brothers, yes please. Just imagine the chaos these two would get to because they're both morally dubious? XD
Also, just imagine how much faster Chloe would be finishing her cases with Desmond’s Eagle Vision? She would have two cheat codes with her this time.
Anyway, I’m going to focus on how we can integrate Lucifer into AC more in this one.
Before anything, just a sorta fun trivia: Lucifer has a little cameo in Crisis on Infinite Earths and he talks to John Constantine, implying they have some sort of history together. John Constantine is played by Matt Ryan who voiced and mocap’ed Edward Kenway XD
We will be keeping this contained to Lucifer though but you can totally add a John Constantine cameo and set it during the time Desmond is working in Lux (and you can totally add Desmond feeling some sort of longing and sorrow because John Constantine sounds and looks familiar to his Bleed of Haytham Kenway)
Alright, with that little trivia out of my system, let’s talk about how we can push Lucifer into AC canon.
(You might not have paid attention to bible study but my religion teacher was so boring he had to implement a rule that there should be no other notebook/books related to other subjects on our table during class because we kept doing other subjects when he’s lecturing us soooooo I was bored enough to read the bible he made us bring every class. I'm sure he'll be proud I'm using what I learned in his class for fic related things XD)
Let’s talk about God in Lucifer’s show. He’s obviously based on the Judeo-Christian God. Now, we have no confirmation if that said God does exist as an Isu in Assassin’s Creed BUT we do have a leeway we can use to make it easier to integrate the characters from Lucifer into Assassin’s Creed.
The Templar Order uses the phrase “May the Father of Understanding guide you”. Now, this is based on the Isu triad that pops up a bit.
The one we’re more familiar with is the Capitoline Triad where Tinia is known as the “Father of Understanding”.
However, there is an earlier iteration of this triad.
The Isus who created humans.
And the one to hold the title of ‘Father of Understanding’ during that time is Yaldabaoth.

Gnosticism presents a distinction between the highest, unknowable God, and the Demiurge, "creator" of the material universe.
Gnostic Christians considered the Hebrew God of the Old Testament as the evil, false god and creator of the material universe, and the Unknown God of the Gospel, the father of Jesus Christ and creator of the spiritual world, as the true, good God.
If we use the statements above and the fact that Yaldabaoth is considered one of the creators of mankind, we can set up God as another Isu scientist who had an alternate idea of a workforce but his idea was pushed aside and Yaldabaoth’s project with the other two Isu scientists moved forward.
God, in anger, created his ‘children’ together with the Goddess. And, to complete the triad, we’ll add Lilith as an Isu as well instead of Adam’s first wife. The three of them (although Lilith has a more advisory role to this entire thing and is actually working on her own workforce idea) created the ‘Angels’, trying to one-up all the data they could get from Yaldabaoth’s project to make them better than humans.
They are. Unfortunately, that meant they were also… shall we say… ‘freer’ than humans as well. God knew that the Isus would see them as defective and, not only that, many would find what they have done as some form of betrayal and being stripped of their rank and status would be the lightest sentence the Isu would give them. So God and Goddess kept the Angels a secret, and passed them off as human slaves while Lilith went her merry way and continued to work on her personal workforce.
And now we come to the whole ‘gave mankind freewill’.
So many like to point at Lucifer as being the serpent that gave Eve the forbidden fruit. Let’s use it. Lucifer, being one of God’s first children, takes an Apple of Eden and presented it to Eve who used it to start the Human-Isu war. Lucifer takes up arms to join the humans.
Things get super messy when they find out about the impending Solar Flare and God and Goddess decided to add their consciousness to a device called ‘Heaven’. (In this setup, Goddess!Charlotte would be like a more ‘questionable’ setup of an Isu consciousness overwriting a human’s consciousness). Their children (who did have the kind of body that would survive a solar flare and were more or less immortal) were tasked with guarding ‘Heaven’.
Except Lucifer who, as punishment for starting the whole Human-Isu war, was tasked to guard a device called ‘Hell’. He guarded it together with Lilith’s ‘children’, the demons.
What these two devices do will be a mystery but they are connected to the Gray in some way and to the Calculations. Perhaps it’s even the actual database of all the Calculations and, by that very definition, it housed all the knowledge, memories and emotions of every living thing in the world.
What defines them as a person.
What defines their soul.
And, from there, we can just integrate all Celestial things in the show as this entirely more advanced workforce’s ‘code words’. (And the devices are connected and that’s why God could boot the Goddess into hell)
By the time 2013 rolls around, Lucifer already owned Lux for a few years now and Desmond applies as a bartender as he’s had enough of all these Assassin-Templar BS to last him a lifetime. He saved the world, this is his damn retirement plan.
Lucifer sees him and goes ‘how interesting, an actual human-POE hybrid.’ while Desmond sees him and goes ‘why does he feel… familiar?’ because his Isu genes and POE-hybridness is giving him signals that Lucifer is definitely not human BUT he ain’t an Isu too.
He’s… Isu-adjacent.
Like Maze.
So Desmond continues to work there and Lucifer finds the perfect time to do the whole “what do you desire?” and Desmond’s POE-hybridness just kicked in.
We’ll make it in this fic that all the Apples are connected to one another and they have a ‘shared memory space’ so Desmond ‘remembers’ that this is the smug bastard who gave the Apple to Eve.
And, because of his limited knowledge of religion, he goes “Why the fuck is actual Satan here in LA?!”
(side note: some count Satan and Lucifer as two different beings but, in this case, we’ll just make Satan another name for Lucifer)
So now they both showed their hands. Lucifer just blatantly showed he wasn’t human and Desmond just showed he has Isu-related knowledge.
Cue an entire night of trying to get drunk while talking about what the fuck happened to them (with special mention to their daddy issues and the whole reluctant ruler of hell and the ‘more-or-less pushed into it’ savior/sacrifice)
At the end of their heart-to-heart, Desmond becomes Lucifer’s main confidant and slowly becomes his BFF. Lucifer uses his mojos to keep Desmond hidden from both Assassins and Templars.
Also… it’s not just Abstergo’s that in his shitlist. William Miles is there as well, that’s for damn sure.
Another subplot we can add is that Lucifer ‘asking’ Chloe to look into Abstergo just so he can, you know… ask them… what they desire?
Other unorganized notes:
What do we do with Juno? I set it to 2013 so Desmond dealt with Juno before peacing out to be a random bartender. Hey, if Ubisoft can do it in the comics, we can take out Juno with one paragraph… maybe even one sentence.
Desmond could see through Maze’s shapeshifting. Whenever he uses Eagle Vision, he sees Maze’s true form.
Actually, Desmond’s Eagle Vision has been powered up by his POE-hybridness that he sees EVERYONE’s true form. His only description of Lucifer’s form? “Bright as fuck.” (this also means Desmond knows Michael by 'sight')
Also, Amenadiel? He looovvveess Desmond’s Shirley Templars.
Lucifer’s deals? He has a connection to Hell and, because of that connection, he’s connected to the Calculations as well. In this case, any deal he makes impacts the Calculations slightly so the person making the deal would get what they want.

My headcanon is Benny absolutely loves pop music, particularly boybands in the late 90s-early 2000 era. Also that he's a hopeless romantic and everything kinda fell into place with him in the "Crush" universe. Hope you enjoy this little cute piece about Benny with pop songs sprinkled in there.

There goes your best friend nervously walking up to the waitress who's been the apple of his eye for the last two months. He thinks that her memorizing his usual order is a sign she's interested. You don't want to burst his little bubble letting him know she also memorized yours.
That lover boy is the most hopelessly romantic person you've ever met - to a fault. Once he falls in love, he gets tunnel vision and obsesses over them. You blame it on pop music. He'll never publicly admit it, but the Backstreet Boys are his favorite boyband. He never learns his lesson though. His heart has been broken so many times, you're sure it has turned into sand. You gotta admire him though. All these rejections and heartaches never deters him from looking for love again. He's just a puppy. Literally. Give him head pets and treats, and he'll eat out of the palm of your hands.
You remember in the summer after sophomore year, on the last day of school, Ben worked up the courage to ask his current crush at the time, Kristina out after being the Invisible Man all year. He even got a summer job so he knew he'd have money to take her out. She said yes, and after a few dates, you both saw her getting cozy with a different blonde - Jaime Carter, who had a resemblance to Nick Carter. He would even tell girls that he's related to him, which you both knew was bullshit.
That summer, you must have heard Britney's "From the Bottom of my Broken Heart" more times than any song ever. NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" was a close second. As much as he loved "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely", the reminder of Nick Carter made it worse. Lover Boy was hurting and pop music was his way to soothe his heart.
Then a month later, Linda walked into the doors of his job and subsequently, into his life. As he described it to you, it was like a movie moment. It happened in slow motion while Savage Garden’s “I Knew I Loves You” played in the background. When summer ended, so did his time with Linda when she went back home. She was only in town to visit family. Gone.
Once school started again, and the new girl became the new object of his affection. He worked up the courage to ask her to the Junior Winter Wonderland Bash and Christmas came early for him when she said yes. Couple of months later, he felt like his death came early when she became someone else's valentine. All or Nothing.
Then there was Tina from the music store, Becky from the movie theater, Maria from Blockbuster, Vivian at the bowling alley. Rinse, recycle and repeat. This went well into adulthood.
And today? No different. You watch Benny as he makes his way back to the booth with an extra pep in his step.
"I got her number!" Benny flashes the napkin along with his teeth.
"Good job!" You high five him and tussle his hair. "You want the rest of my fries?" you offer.
"Oooh!" His eyes light up and his ears perk up as he digs in.
20 years later and still a puppy. And every time, you hope he gets his fairytale ending.

it really is a mental health dip kind of a month i swear seasonal depression is mf real 😔💔 but while you take a backseat on writing etc (idk how you guys write so often like burn out would hit me after the second sentence 😭💀) here's some insane brainrot and perhaps inspo but mainly just blurb like comfort to think ab bc honestly why lie matthew may be a headache but he really is the best of distractions in such times <3 (here's to hoping some serotonin will roll its way over to both of us)

- matty singing his songs to baby annie and absolutely dying when she'd giggle to it
- babysitting annie mid studio sessions like can you just imagine the boys producing and recording and annie taking turns sleeping in each of their laps etc 😭😭
- matty calling adam at the randomest times to ask for parenting advice (crying)
- the very idea of matty holding a sleeping annie in his arms as they both doze off will actually kill me i swear
- any thought remotely related to dad matty doing dad things honestly
- like imagine him packing her school lunches etc and including little notes for her kms

YES BFF HI!!!! seasonal depression is EARLY this year!! honestly, I don't get it either. Some writers literally write every day... if I did that, I'd die. I don't even write that much, and I still burn out so quickly
okay I don't have the mental capacity rn to discuss each idea in depth but let me just say; YES YES YES YES YES I LOVE IT.
(not very) brief comments on each one below the cut;
- matty singing people to baby Annie and she is just laughing like crazy... yes.
- do not even put this into my head. the idea of baby Annie sitting in Ross' lap while he plays bass. Or Adam takes her from matty when he needs to record a little vocal take, and he and Annie wave from the other side. Matty promptly messes up that take because he's busy making heart eyes at his beautiful baby (and after much pressure, he reluctantly says he was making heart eyes at hann too...) Or she's sitting in George as he produces something, she giggles and presses a button. at first George is like, "No!" But then he plays it, and he's like, "...wait that kinda bangs, " and annie gets a producer credit!!!!
(side note imagine them including an accidental take at the end of a song of Annie babbling or laughing... people are like "what is that cute laughter at the end?" and matty is like "💞❤️💖my baby girl💖❤️💞")
- it's like 12am, and Adam is just getting into bed when he gets a facetime from matty who is PANICKING. Adam is immediately like "bro, what's up", all he can hear in the background is SCREAMING bc Annie is clearly unhappy. matty is freaking tf out because "I can't find her stuffed rabbit Adam. it's been 2 hours. she won't stop crying. I don't know what to do and -" and Adam cuts him off like "matty, calm down, it's okay. didn't you put it in that weird pocket of your bag in the studio today?" and matty looks like he could literally cry of joy and just is like "YES I LOVE YOU BRO. BYE. SLEEP WELL." and abruptly hangs up, leaving Adam laughing and carly asking."oh god, what did matty need"
- perhaps a long day in the studio and matty is like "I'll just rock Annie to sleep on the sofa in the other room, be back in 10" and he simply... does not return. George comes in prepared to have a go at matty for being a helicopter dad when he sees them both open mouth snoring on the sofa lol.
- the idea of messy hair 3am matty trying to test the temperature of the milk on his wrist but getting confused at what it's meant to feel like. simultaneously rocking a screaming Annie and just trying not to also scream.
- OHMYGODDDD. like she's a little older, and it starts with a little note explaining something in her lunch, and she comes home SO EXCITED because "it was a note from you, Daddy!!! it's like we're spies sending secret letters!!!" And obviously, matty is now in full spy mode. they create a secret code, and he decorates them to say "top secret" on the outside. the notes are always things like "love you peanut! have a good day!" But we can play pretend okay.
- maybe Annie has become obsessed with penguins recently (Ross is obviously encouraging this and loves her giggles whenever he shows her his tattoo) and matty wants to show her irl penguins. matty offhandedly mentions him and Annie are going to the zoo tomorrow for the first time and the other boys are like "HMM??? WITHOUT US???" especially Ross bc like... hello he got her into penguins... the audacity from matty to be silent??? so they all are like "we're coming." thus a group trip to the zoo happens, and hann brings his little one and its just a family affair. sooo many pictures, especially Annie seeing her very first penguin and a group shot that a very confused old woman took for them (seriously, why are there 4 grown tattooed men with two children crying at penguins???)
these thoughts became much less concise as time went on...

No! I very rarely respond to comments. Right now, it's because I don't have time, but it's also because every comment will be 'aaaah thank you <3' and that feels like artificially inflating my comment count sometimes. Having said that, if people have questions, I tend to answer them.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
It was gonna be Ghosted before @clottedcreamfudge talked me out of it. Maybe When a Dancer Dies, because the 'happy ending' is massively open to interpretation.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Either Henry Fox: All-American Hero or Red, White and Royal Ballet. I mean, I'm writing for a novel with a strong romantic element - it's unusual NOT to write happy endings.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I haven't yet, but hey! I probably will! And when that happens I will specifically write them into my next fics and make them suffer horrible fates!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I have written explicit stuff before, but not yet for RWRB. However, @dumbpeachjuice left a comment on All-American Hero that has me considering an expansion/missing scene in that world.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
The only crossover I have is Alien Magic, which is two worlds by the same author, Tamora Pierce, and me crossing over characters from one into the universe of the other, but they're aware that the other world exists, it's just on the other side of the globe from them.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
If I have, I don't know about it! Doubtful, though.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but I did receive my first comment in Spanish yesterday which made me very happy.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
YES and I have also co-written a book with my BFF.
14. What’s your all time favourite ship?
Fun fact: my fiance and I almost had 'fictional couples' as the theme for our wedding tables but abandoned it because two bridesmaids (u know who u are) would have wanted to sit at different tables.
Top three: Frank and Sadie Doyle, Mel Beeby and Brice de Winter (thoroughly not canon) and, of course, Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor and Alex Claremont-Diaz.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Henry as a contestant on a pottery show, Alex as the kiln assistant who became a much bigger part in season 2 and has a lot to say.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Punctuality. Does that count? Errr, okay, I can write a banger of a sentence now and then and I'm good at description.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Em-dashes, and trying to be funny. The funniness comes in when I'm not trying too hard.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
It's difficult and I haven't done it yet! I'm learning Swedish (445 days in a row so far) and what gets me is sentence structure. Sometimes it's structured like English, sometimes it's structured like Early Modern English, sometimes the structure is specifically foreign and I fuck it up. However, I really liked what Junot Diaz did in Oscar Wao, which is not italicising words in other languages because that's not how the character thinks.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
The very very very first fanfic published somewhere was LoTR. It was about the Entwives and it was dull.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Ghosted. Or Cold Cases, Lost Causes. Sometimes you want to chew on some PLOT, and Ghosted deals with death, and Cold Cases deals with the ethics of podcasts covering true crime. I can't wait to release the last 3 chapters because I'm proud of how I've ended it!

Cute, cozy ways to survive winter
- buy a winter-ish tea to warm you up in the morning and the evening. You can also make your own mix (I love cranberry and elderberry)
- take vitamin D3 to boost your mood and prevent seasonal depression
- take beta carotin to have a glowy, tanned skin even without the sunlight
- get a good quality jacket from a material like wool or hemp (eco), and yes, it will cost a lot, but it's worth it. It keeps your warmer than any cheaper jacket and will last longer. A tip from a broke girl: I started to save up money in June. Also I search only in second-hand stores. I also recommend a faux fur. You can already find nice finds for 90€
- few times a week, make yourself a little bath for your feet. After a cold day, pour hot water into a bowl and put some nice bathing salts or etheric oils, I usually do smth that smells like pine trees. Super relaxing and warms your feet ^^
- read winter-ish books. They help to romanticize the cold time and make the season much more special
- get yourself a nice thick pair of socks that you will enjoy wearing during the winter
- dress warm. I have a special thermal set that I always put under my clothes. Avoid wearing jeans, for they will only make you freeze. Wear thick sweaters (I love cashmere, I bought one cheap in a second hand store), or long warm skirts or dresses (they make me feel girly and special during the cold time) remember, when you buy expensive, good quality clothes keep them in natural colors so they're universal and timeless. Remember: the time of cute outfits is over, now we're in the survival mode
- you can add yourself some color with pretty gloves and hats. I love wearing slavic scarves during the winter to honor my heritage
- when buying a shower gel, perfume, shampoo or body lotion peak smells that remind you of winter. I go for mandarine/ orange scents 😊🍊
- drink vitamin c in the morning!!!
- choose a thicker cream for your face, nothing water-based. Your skin needs special care and protection during the winter. I have an acne prone, oily skin, and I still choose thicker creams, so don't be afraid to do the same. My go-to for winter is a levera cream for sensitive skin and a black cumin seed oil. I also like products from PinusVital.
- uv still exists during winter so don't forget a sunscreen!
- decorate your apartment, room or house with winter decor. I'd defiently focus more on winter related things since they will last until March. Christmas things tend to be thrown away much quicker after Christmas. There's so many cute ideas!
- get yourself a sun clock. It's a lamp you put by your bed, which imitates the sunshine. It's especially useful in early mornings since we humans aren't programmed to be waking up in full darkness. It helps to wake up your body :)
- get yourself a bunch of candles and light them in the evening. Element of fire has always been crucial for our ancestors during these trying times
- every single week plan to do something new. It can be finding a new song or new album, going to a restaurant or a coffee shop you've never been to before, learning something new, visiting a place you haven't seen yet, trying out a new recipe, even taking a different rode back from work/school, write a new poem, start a new book, watch a new movie, keep yourself entertained by little things
- out of the same principle, try to redecorate or change placement of furniture from time to time. Our brains get easily bored and especially during winter it can be very depressing. Brains need the change to stay healthy and fit
- especially during cold times, a community is really important. Even if you're an introverted person, it doesn't mean you should stay alone all the time. Humans are social beings, and we need contacts to one another. During winter months and long evenings, loneliness can be very hard. Try looking for a local book club or knitting club or any other club you'd enjoy. Download Bumble BFF it's an app that helps you to find friends! Volunteer at your local senior house or even your local dog shelter. Being constantly alone has literally never done anyone any good.
- burn incenses to boost energies in your household (any time it's needed, of course if you believe in stuff like this :) ) I recommend orange incense (brings luck and happiness)
- spend time outside. During the week I barely have time but every weekend I try to go on a walk possibly out in the nature. Your mental state regulates this way. Just 15 minutes of walk outside each day can boost your mood. Believe me, it comes from a person who struggled a lot with depressions.
- don't forget to eat well. You burn more calories during the winter because your body uses lots of energy to keep itself warm. Eat regular, well-balanced food portions. I love vegetarian food magazines that offer amazing seasonal recipes, so you cook with vegetables and fruits that actually grow during the winter. I think it adds more magic and meaning to the season to cook with seasonal food.
- wake up early. And early can be different for every person, but sleeping in every day is not proven to be healthy. Sleeping in causes chronic diseases, slows down your metabolism, and can cause social problems. Of course, there's nothing wrong with having one slower day, but having a crazy sleeping schedule can get you in sleep debt that will not result in anything productive.
- pick projects you want to accomplish during winter like for example my projects are: learn about local birds and mammals, make a little house in my local forest, learn how to diy fairy houses, learn how to knit :)
❄️Remember that winter time is the time to slow down and relax. Look around at nature and see how everything is seemingly dead and waiting for the spring. Don't worry if you're not being great all the time or constantly achieving new milestones because it's totally fine to calm down after many months of work. I know that the capitalism convinced us that we should always work, no matter what, but I just want you to remember that nature intended otherwise and of you're more tired and sleepy during these months that's totally normal. Just be kind to yourself.❄️

To be fair even if the bts content dropped to almost zero (live twetting, lives and marina stuff on SM included) I feel like some people created a paralell universe were S&D used to be attached to the hip in a context different to when they were creating content for the fans-series or during the lockdown and their bubble. Yes, they used to post more together or to post when they were together but now besides those events and certain stuff we barely get to see what they're doing on their free time. They went to an event together a while ago and then it was more like hanging out a little, take a selfie or nothing lol in other events. The only way we know that they hang out and danced together at the last wrap party is because Stef decided to post her film pics haha. To be honest I feel like since Stef started hanging out more with Merle, the fandom doubled the drama about D&S. The drama grows if she's with someone else from the cast other than D. Last night from the vids/pics I got that everyone had their little group of people and at certain times they mixed, talked and took pics with different people (you can see Boris talking to Macey and Daniele, Stef with Merle and Emily). It was a bunch of cast and crew to talk with, lots of people they are not gonna see again soon.
What I mean if that you ever saw them as bffs that used to be together all the time you are gonna freak out at "differences", this discourse on twitter that they are bffs, that they are the eachother's person is what causes drama. They even had to say at a m&g "we don't hang out together much after the show" and I believe they tried to make sure we get how much they love and respect the other, how much they enjoy working together and that they cherish a friendship but that's far from being sisters or even soulmates as some fans claim lol.
Yes, exactly. I said a little bit of this too but this fandom loves to project their own things and have expectations and then get upset when it doesn't happen and then it creates unnecessary drama. Of course we all love to see the actresses of our favorite ships interacting but you would think that wlw fandoms would learn their lesson because the same pattern happens every time. The actresses are so open and involved at first, the fandom takes advantage of that, crosses boundaries/make assumptions and then the actresses start to pull away in public. I don't know why people can't just be normal and respectful so that it's not ruined every single time.

Laura Kinney (Marvel Comics) - I started reading superhero comics at 16, when a friend at school gave me access to her collection. I have also, since I was too young to articulate it, been drawn to stories about "human weapons," particularly women. (Literally only a couple of years ago it occurred to me that perhaps growing up in fundiegelical culture, which is prone to calling its congregants "warriors for Christ" and using a lot of rhetoric about "God's soldiers," might have had an influence on this preference! I May Be Stupid etc.) Laura Kinney is the female clone of Wolverine, but she has two claws on each hand and a foot claw (yes it’s the kid in Logan, though they changed some stupid shit in that version). I first met her at 16, randomly picking up X-23: Innocence Lost at a Borders one evening and immediately being sucked into the story of a teenager who knows nothing but violence, except for the sole person who sees her as human (Sarah, her surrogate mother). Laura’s comic backstory is fucked-up in a way Marvel really leaned into with their 00s characters - she was forced to slaughter her own mother! then she was a victim of child sex trafficking! then she tried to have a normal life but her past came back to haunt her and she was forced to leave behind everyone she loved to keep them safe! - and I don’t think most of it holds up great, except for Target X which is cute because she and her cousin skip school and steal a car to be normal kids for a day. Anyway! I loved her immediately because in my teen brain, this character was one I could truly read EVERYTHING about, and ever since she has been my daughter. Marjorie Liu wrote an amazing series for her in 2011-12 which had her become Gambit’s little sister and Jubilee’s girlfriend bff, and Liu is to this day the writer I have seen do the most interesting stuff with her. She at one point was using Wolverine as a code name and she got a little sister, Gabby, and that was also good. Anyway, she’s the ur-example of “child weapon learns how to be a person” and also she’s angry and sad and doing her best and I love her the most.
Princess Amelia "Mia" Mignonette Thermopolis Grimaldi Renaldo (The Princess Diaries) - While I very much enjoy and am fond of the films, my Mia Thermopolis is the one in the book series. I first read these at 13, and immediately I recognized Mia as a kindred spirit. Mia in the books is riddled with anxiety and self-doubt, prone to people-pleasing but will push back if she reaches her limits, passionate and loyal to sometimes self-sabotaging degrees, and a connoisseur of pop culture. Every time I open a Princess Diaries book, I feel like I’m hanging out with my best friend, and to me she is. A dream of mine is to make a character that feels as real and dear to readers as Mia feels to me. I am not and never have been great at doing “girl” (hi, butch), but Mia was and is a glimpse into a world that I always felt on the outside of. The books are certainly not perfect but I will never get tired of hanging out with Mia.
Elizabeth Swann-Turner King of Pirates (Pirates of the Caribbean) - I got into these movies kind of late, just before the third one came out, but Pirates was one of the most significant fandoms I have ever been in. It taught me about meta, how to analyze subtext, and how to multiship. Elizabeth was a big part of that, being a cool bitch who got to fight and did not take shit from anyone and was also part of a ship full of Yearning. I used to think I had a crush on Will and that’s why I was so into the ship but…no it was Elizabeth. I wanted to be in Will’s place so I could kiss Elizabeth! She’s smart and capable and passionate, and when you’re 16 that corset line sounds really cool, sorry. And she’s the Pirate King and gets a badass rallying speech. Also she gets to wear a sick pirate coat in At World’s End, which is less questionable for me, a Chinese person, to be wearing, and my mother-in-law made a dream come true and made it for me. As far as I’m concerned she was only stationed on that island for as long as it took for baby Liam to be transportable, and then she put him in a sling and ran around being a fucking awesome pirate king again. (Movie 5 does not exist to me, nor does “Henry,” his name is Liam, thank you for understanding.)
Myka Bering (Warehouse 13) - I actually did NOT start watching this show for the gay content, I started because one of my college roommates/best friends was enjoying it and we both found it deeply charming. I actually thought Claudia was going to be my favorite, but Myka quickly took that spot in my heart. I found her deeply relatable, as someone who tends to keep myself pretty emotionally distant until I trust someone, and as a fellow Bad at Being a Girl sufferer. Myka starts the show wary of everyone, but wanting to do her best, and she slowly begins to let her new team in and start to trust them. One of my favorite Myka things is how well she knows herself and what she wants. And of course there's the HG of it all - her insistence on saving and trusting HG even after she betrayed them the first time is so indicative of how much she wants to believe in people. I really hate what this show did to her by the end, because to me it was devastating to watch this incredible, self-assured woman turn into somebody who apparently had feelings for her self-admitted brother figure and whose entire arc was about that now?? It sucked!! But anyway, that's not what I think of when I think of Myka. I think of her hitting Pete with a snowball and then doing a little hop of joy.
Bennett Halverson (Dollhouse) - Bennett is the reason I met my wife, and she is also played by Summer Glau, who I rarely post about anymore but who is involved in multiple shows that are part of my heart, so Bennett had to go on this list. She was one of the most significant characters that fell into my "angry and sad" women niche, as her whole thing is that she's out for revenge against the girl who broke her heart. AND YES SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH CAROLINE I HAVE RECEIPTS. (god this essay is TWELVE years old?? nobody @ me if it's bad) I love Bennett because she's me, or at least, a really stark portrait of the kind of person I could have become in a similar situation. Bennett feels like an outcast and Caroline seems to be the first person who ever showed her positive attention, to a degree that clearly turned romantic on Bennett's side. She's also devoted to Caroline to a degree that is objectively unhealthy ("You're not pissed because I used you?" "I'm hurt that you wont") and her memories of Caroline leaving her are colored by her misunderstanding of why she did it; Caroline was trying to protect her and take the fall for what happened, but Bennett didn't see it that way at all. I am very...dramatic...in my head and 1000% I would've been like that in a similar situation. It's really good B and I met each other and are obsessed with each other exactly the same amount because we would be terrible partners for anybody else. Anyway, Bennett's fucked up and I love her so much and Bennett/Caroline is why I'm like this now.
Daisy "Skye" Johnson (Agents of SHIELD) - If I were pressed to pick one favorite character, period, it would almost certainly be Daisy. SHIELD and I have had a special relationship from the moment it was first announced; if you look I still have a few posts tagged "s.h.i.e.l.d." and a minor regret of my life is that I was too late to get into the pilot screening at SDCC '13. Anyway, similarly to Myka, Daisy wasn't my immediate pic for favorite, but she quickly became my favorite, especially when I found out Chloe Bennet is also a "Chinese dad white mom" girl like me. I called it from the first character bio that she would be divisive, and she was, because fandom is horrible, but to me she is the best character. I wrote an entire essay about how much it means to me that she's biracial, even if I do not love the Inhumans stuff necessarily. But I remember spending the first season and a half desperately wishing for her to be biracial, and then she was! And she's also so funny and brave and kind and angry and sad and good above all else, she does her best to be a good person. I recognize a lot of my worst tendencies in some of hers; B and I joke that sometimes I will "drive off in emotional van" when I try to shut down and process big shit by myself. But I also relate to her in a lot of positive ways as well: we're both deeply loyal, passionate and hopeful. When they teased someone being killed off in the s3 finale, I literally had a panic attack the morning of the finale at the thought of losing her. When the show finally ended, I was happy she survived and even happier that they had her reconcile with her mom and her surprise sister, and now she and Kora and Danny are hanging out in space and sometimes Daisy goes home to hang out with her girlfriend Jemma. If she never comes back in MCU canon, I'll take that ending for her.
Natasha Romanov (Marvel Comics / Marvel Cinematic Universe) - WELL SPEAKING OF CHARACTERS WHO GOT FUCKED OVER LOL. Never mind the Scarlett Johansson of it all, I love Natasha with a tenacity approaching lunacy. (Not as much as my friend Amy, because Nat is her most special blorbo, but almost that much, I think!) Once again: Natasha is a living weapon character who is emotionally closed off and snarky and also very angry and sad, and also she was one of like 3 women in the MCU in the beginning so of course I became obsessed with her. Her comic counterpart is a little different, of course, but the same notes are there, and once again Marjorie Liu wrote the best arc for her (The Name of the Rose, which deals with themes of motherhood and infertility way better than some films I could name). Some of my love for her is me truly putting my hard-earned fandom analysis skills to work with the pittance of canon information I have to work with, and some of it is the five months I spent writing an AU where she didn't die in Endgame and also she and Laura Barton were polyamorous that whole time. (I did a lot of sobbing in the car when I found out about her death, and I'm resolved to never watch Endgame again.) That fic is my tribute to her, so I guess if you want to know all my feelings, go read it.
Rogue (X-Men / Marvel Comics) - Rogue was the X-Men character I imprinted on when I watched the movies at 16 (hey is that a pattern I see here?) because she was sad and emo and, although I didn't know it at the time, I wanted to kiss it better. I affectionately refer to Anna Paquin Rogue as "Diet Coke Rogue" because she's a very bad interpretation of the character, but also I love her. My favorite version of Rogue is actually in the X-Men: Evolution cartoon, where they made her an angry and sad goth (again: pattern) but with her usual reserve and level of sass. But I love every version of her, and I can't wait to watch the new cartoon because I have been sorely lacking in Rogue lately and I miss her. If I can't pick Laura, Rogue is my favorite X-Men character always and forever. Also, I felt so strongly about her and Gambit that I made a 40-part powerpoint presentation to explain their love story to B, while I was on a road trip with my family. This was one of our notable courtship gifts because she had also imprinted on Diet Coke Rogue and I needed her to understand how epic Rogue and Gambit's relationship is. Someday we will cosplay as them.
Gideon Nav (The Locked Tomb series) - The newest entry, but she made it on here by dint of being, well, so intensely relatable. I too am an awkward butch with a praise kink raised in a weird dead-end religion who falls to pieces in the presence of a pretty girl, whose brain is completely full of jokes and memes to cover up my various damages, and who is so bad at expressing my feelings to the object of my affection that I spent literal years pining after them only to do something exceedingly reckless to try and prove my love (I did not kill myself so they could use my corpse, but it was equally stupid and dramatic, and I have a 1/2 success rate - one of them was a guy, long story). Gideon Nav is Weird Girl turned up to 1000 and I love her for it. I am very short and chubby and not at all muscly, but I love cosplaying as her because in our souls we are the same. If we never see her again I will not recover.
Cinderpelt (Warriors) - I am genuinely not sure if I've ever explained Cinderpelt on this blog, so here's a quick summary: Cinderpelt is the first apprentice of the POV character Fireheart, and quickly endears herself to everyone by being enthusiastic and clever. She wants to be the best warrior ever. As an apprentice, she is hit by a car and survives, but her leg is injured severely enough that she is unable to continue warrior training, so she pivots to becoming a medicine cat. (Yes, Warriors is very ableist and this is not even in the top 5 worst examples.) We don't get a ton of insight from Cinderpelt on her thoughts about this until she's a bit older, but basically she determines that she will ensure the Clan is protected and cared for just as valiantly as she would have as a warrior. She becomes one of Fireheart/star's closest friends, and a constant source of comfort and wisdom throughout the first two series. Somewhere in there, I decided she was my favorite character. Enter series 2 book 5, Twilight (I am almost 15 when it comes out), which features a climactic battle as badgers invade the ThunderClan camp while Cinderpelt's best friend Sorreltail goes into labor. The way I remember it is Cinderpelt kicking absolute ass to protect her friend and maybe killing at least one badger, but I think I may have edited this to be more epic in my mind. ANYWAY she dies from her wounds and I cry for like an hour. In the next book, it is revealed that StarClan (cat heaven) thought Cinderpelt was so cool that they wanted her to have a second chance, and she got reincarnated as Cinderkit. I think this is maybe where the mythology really went off the rails objectively, but you won't convince me it was anything but beautiful. Now she lives as Cinderheart, who had her own journey through rehabilitating an injury but has become a badass and respected warrior herself. (There is also some bullshit about Cinderpelt having been in love with Fireheart lalalala I do not care she is a cool bitch and more than her relationships!)

Yess Talk Shop Tuesday! I deeply apologize that this came in after I had shut my laptop for the night so I could focus on The Familiar (so far, not as good as Ninth House but I'm still enjoying it I think) so I am just now answering it, BUT this is a FANTASTIC question and one I have gotten VERY excited about omg! Here are some of my personal headcanons for On a Friday pertaining to Fictional!Matty's relationship with Fictional!Carly, Fictional!Adam and Christopher!
Fictional!Matty and Fictional!Carly were actually friends long before Fictional!Matty met the boys
Everyone thought Fictional!Matty and Fictional!Carly were going to end up together before they both ended up presenting as omegas as teenagers and then it was like ah yes they are platonic life partners / BFFs forever
Fictional!Matty's parents are both betas, where as Fictional!Carly's are an Alpha/Omega pairing, meaning that Fictional!Matty spent a lot of time at Fictional!Carly's house growing up, and her parents were the ones that gave him a lot of the initial omega talks
Fictional!Matty was initially a little apprehensive when Fictional!Carly and Fictional!Adam started dating even though he was the one that set them up, like that was HIS Fictional!Carly but then he ended up becoming the biggest supporter of their relationship when he saw how happy they both were
Fictional!Matty and Fictional!Carly did one of those weird not recommended blood pact things when they were teenagers and consider each other the closest of family / pack
Fictional!Matty was there every step of the way when Fictional!Carly got pregnant (even though it stirred up some weird feelings for him) and Fictional!Carly couldn't have imagined making it through without Fictional!Matty at her side
As far as Christopher is concerned, Fictional!Matty is "Uncle Matty" and he fully doesn't realize that Fictional!Matty and Fictional!Carly aren't actually brother and sister - he basically has three parents
When Christopher was first born, a small section of the internet was convinced that he was actually Fictional!Matty's (that small section of the internet is still convinced that) and just assumed he had gotten pregnant and had him during lockdown
Fictional!Matty and Fictional!George are VERY close obviously, but Fictional!Matty is much closer to Fictional!Carly and therefore by default Fictional!Adam

Nancy and Chrissy have more in common than they think at first! It starts slowly, something like ‘Hawkins High royalty at some point', Nancy finds it easy to trust her, but then they bond over their interest for true crime and the rest is history. nancy is the first one to find out chrissy weird side and she encourages so much to come out of her shell and be herself, and all the while chrissy makes nancy feel just a little lighter? like she doesn't have to take herself so seriously? if she didn't love it, robin would be jealous of the way chrissy makes nancy laugh so easily
I believe in Robin and Vickie as besties supremacy!!! like Robin's #1 bestie will always be Steve, sure. but vickie is just something else. they share one braincell and only use it to play their favorite songs at all times. nancy isn't god's strongest soldier and she does get jealous of the seamless way robin and vickie fit together, they finish each other's sentences, they'll show up wearing accidentally the same outfit, they laugh at the same parts in movies, they're so in sync, and they never stop talking to each other! they text each other from different rooms of the house
I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to ignore the possibilites of Nancy and Vickie as enemies to reluctant friends to ride or die partners in crime. after all, vickie is even more of a band geek than robin, she firmly believed nancy wheeler was a priss and she wasn't afraid to let her know. meanwhile there's nancy holding a gun every time vickie gets close to robin. but, jokes on them! because the universe decided they were meant to be in each other's lives. at first it's accidental, they just happened to have the same schedule and go the same route to work. or robin and chrissy forced to sit side by side during movies. but eventually they realized they worked well together, the silence between them was blissful, they liked things done around the house the exact same way
I'll run out of space before I run out of thoughts about band nerd x head cheerleader bffs, Robin and Chrissy!!!! i'm a firm supporter of these two as childhood friends that unfortunately got separated by the claws of high school before finally getting in touch again and letting their inner childs go wild whenever they are together. they are the two most physically affectionate of the group. they are the perfect tall x small combo. meaning robin is constantly giving piggy back rides to chrissy or holding her up to reach the high shelves instead of picking things for her. they love the same movies, they play pranks on each other, they are in charge of getting all the sweets and snacks of the apartment, i could go on and on

every panel of kon getting hurt tbh (and for fellow kon whumpers. its a fucking FEAST.) <3 but also - that post going around that says ttk cant deflect energy, this is delightful acknowledgement of that. all my homies love when the ttk shatters like an old coke bottle.

intergalactic cloning lore!!! kon finding people who share shocking similarities with him!! i dont often like random characters but i'll admit i'm a fan of these guys. i'm even bothering to remember their names unlike how i treat most side characters (sorry. im a bad comic fan. however. there are so many fucking side characters. do you really expect me to remember everyones name who stays in a comic for less than 3 issues). anyways go pira! these guys are already bonding, i love them and want the best for them. thats right babes you take down that empire. maybe listen to kon about uhhhhhh not letting everyday civilians die in the property damage though. pls.
also there seem to be similarities with some of starfire's backstory? what is it with these alien races who want to clone, splice dna, and/or genetically alter existing races fr. kon and kory should bond over this i think.

overall i REALLY like this issue! i don't usually love the whole, "solo series in space" thing because it seems like an excuse to separate characters from the main cast and isolate them and make any growth happen outside of their friendships on earth, which often ends up pretty meh. however. this is fun and engaging and kon references his friends enough that i'm cautiously optimistic.
i do hope kon runs into other mainline characters at some point in this series though; anything to ground this more into main canon and make sure character development ties back to the main series.
