Calling all Dead Boy Detectives, Good Omens, Umbrella Academy, OMFD, and Lockwood and Co Fans!!

As most of us know, the viewership is low and the show is gradually being removed from the top 10 series in States so, tell a friend, tell your family, tell your fish, to binge the entire show on Sunday and Monday around 12 pm to raise the viewership and to place it a bit higher on the top 10!

Spellbound ... available to stream on Hulu... is fine. 🔮

The writing skewed a bit younger than I thought it would (it's along the lines of Free Rein) but it's nice to have a Black female lead plus the cast has good chemistry with each other. I still have a bunch of eps left to watch.

I like to support shows with Black female leads esp young Black women, hence my tuning in to check out this show. (Emily in Paris doesn't even believe Black women exist in Paris so it's nice to have Spellbound throw tomatoes at that bit of misogynoir 🍵)

I haven't seen much chatter about this new show, maybe due to the holiday weekend, but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.

This epic lgbtqia fantasy is absolutely everything I wanted! The descriptions, the politics, the characters, and the representation are incredible.

Rosy is a shifter who winds up going to a very prestigious school. For Rosy, this is a different experience than what she is used to, tending horses with her grandmother. With this huge change, Rosy finds herself even getting attention from the princess. This story takes some interesting twists and turns that leave me anticipating the next book bc yes (!!!!) This is a series!!!

I'm so excited about this one and recommend it.

Popular ya book series that got live action remakes which in itself aren't bad but miss/mess up minor but important minor details that fundamentally make up the heart/morals of the series

#like in sge they missed out sophies like performative goodness which proves she belonged in evil #or in sb when the darkling reveals his name so casually instead of moments before his demise and alina reflects on how common a name it is #or in sge again when they removed the whole ive always been beautiful scene and removed agathas insecurity which made her protective #layer of mean/rudeness seem unnecessary #idk man #theyre still good adaptations vut just... lacking #sge #school for good and evil #shadow and bone #sb #ya #ya series #soman chainani

If you enjoy the absolute stupidity of twilight and need something to fill your stupid scifi fantasy love triangle void consider watching the Shannara Chronicles. Its what outsiders *think* twilight is except its 1000% worse and very entertaining. The acting is terrible, it looks absolutely atrocious and it has some pretty problematic writing choices but man i cant look away. 10/10 stimulates the twilight part of my brain
