This was on SJM's Pinterest board!!!

She deleted the board in '21 but how do people flip this into anything but an Elucien endgame?? Does this look like a rejected mating bond? Does this look like he's not really her fated mate...

She recently said in an interview that her plans from the beginning haven't changed! There was no Elriel plans when she wrote acomaf. Which she finished before acotar was published.

Az was still planned to be with Mor! Before being bullied. So she added Gwyn a new character for him to still get his HEA.

"The cauldron was tampered with how can you not see that after HOFAS!"

Did you not think to consider that it was Sjm's way of explaining how the cauldron, that was created by the mother was used to destroy in general?

The night sky was a beautiful shade of sapphire. The stars above spread across it like sparkling Diamonds. Rhysand held out his hand to you. A shimmer of adventure sparkled in those beautiful violet eyes. “Ready darling?” He asked. You both stood on the railing of the balcony.

You both unfurled your wings and with a swift push, you were both soaring through the sky. To you, nothing felt more freeing or relaxing than flying. Especially at night. The wind caressing your face is always refreshing. You two flew over the night court. Nothing but the sounds of yours and Rhysand’s laughter ringing out.

“See that tower in the distance?” He asked fluttering next to you as he pointed. You nodded. “Let’s race to it,” he said “The loser gives the winner a prize”.

“You’re on” you agreed. You took positions beside each other.

“And go!” Rhysand yelled and you both took off. You were actually a little ahead of the high lord. That was until you felt him grab your foot and pull you back in order to fly ahead of you.

"HEY!" you try to catch up to him, "Cheater!" He just chuckled with that playful grin of his. Rhysand tries to throw you off flying in different patterns and behind clouds and other tall structures of the night court. You were so busy trying to catch up to him that you hadn't noticed as you neared the tower that he slowed down on purpose so you'd win.

"Well, looks like you won Y/N" he smiled like he didn't plan it to be that way all along. You looked at the royal fae and narrowed your eyes.

"Did you let me win?" you asked. Rhysand flashed that feline-like grin as he flew to you.

"Would I ever do such a thing?' he asked. His tone gave it away.

"Then you have no issue if I claim my prize?" You said.

"Fair is fair," he purred, "now I believe the bet was loser picks the winner’s prize correct?" You nodded. That classic smirk appeared on his face. "Now whatever should I give?" he said, putting his finger to his chin pretending to ponder. He gently wraps his arms around you pulling you close to him. The scent of Jasmine wafted in the air around you. He cradled your face in one hand. And then with the moon glowing down on you both, he gave you your prize as he took your lips in his.
