WORKOUT DIARY
It's back!!
Bigger and better and more goal oriented than ever!!!!
I have a plan:
Workout every other day
(That makes two weeks segments for it to 'reset')
Take measurements when cycle 'resets' to see results
Fix eating habits at the same time; use eating diary apps
Reserve two hours for workout + stretching + shower
I did my go-to workout and I'm feeling the good burn on my arms and thighs 👍

have a wicked back pumpy from today’s workout but cannot photograph it for the life of me. single arm lat pulldowns and db rows felt so good today, for the first time in a while. and no pain!!! well outside the normal muscle soreness/fatigue. no sciatic, shoulder, knee, etc pain. legs destroyed me, I barely hit rep range for split squats lol. overall a great workout tho ❣️

5/29/22 - idk but at least i went to the gym 🐸
Had a really hard time walking in today but I'm glad I did. I thought I would just stick to a treadmill and walk for a bit but I worked up the courage to lift like I wanted to :)
I'm socially anxious so this was a good day for me. I'll try to remember it when I'm feeling down again. I wrote this in my phone:
"Learn to give a fuck about me, nobody else"
[workout below]
Front Squat
WU: 95lbsx1 (lol it was way too heavy)
3 sets: 85x6
CD: 75x6
Bench
WU: 60% 45lbsx10
3 sets: 85-90% 65x5
CD: 55x8

Lots of lessons learned in the past two days so I'll just list them below
I can't workout on the same day I have to coach a meet. I'll overexert myself and need extra time to rest. (NOTE: I think I can do both someday when I'm more used to training but since its such a shock to my body right now, that's the rule)
I can't force myself into a workout schedule right away. I'm getting burnt out and was slightly sick by Wednesday morning so I have to change things up to stay sustainable and keep it fun
I can't workout unless I plan on fueling myself properly. I was extremely tired after I ran on Tuesday and basically was falling asleep while doing other things. I didn't eat enough nutrient rich foods and I think that was definitely part of it. I have to be able to live my life after I workout that day lol I can't be set back this much
I can't put my workouts/fitness over the health of my pet (which is a new thing for me). I've only had my guinea pig for a month and already my schedule for him is slipping since I started working out. He needs to be my first priority even if my workouts are thrown off
I NEED TO START JOURNALING AGAIN to improve my sleep, stress, and mood overall. Sleep keeps me sane (ie. I don't have to take meds because I get so much sleep) but when that slips, I go off the rails so much in terms of mental health. That needs to be a priority again
I can't prioritize everything at once. That is impossible to do in the 8 free hours I have in my day. Once coaching is done I'll have more free time but to be quite honest I don't think everything in my life will be perfect but it might be better than it was at least
