Just like Jina’s long walks, movement is such a great way to process feelings or get out of our heads.

While I enjoy walks to soak in rays of sun as the days get shorter, I also love going for a drive and singing along to the radio!

Don’t underestimate the impact of the changing seasons on our brains & bodies!

It is natural to need more rest and time recovering from events as we transition into fall. Let yourself set boundaries to protect taking care of your need for rest.

🧡 Plan something to look forward to 🧡

As much as we crave more rest, seeking out connection and making memories can be a great way to feel joy even as winter approaches.

October has so many fun activities, from apple picking or pumpkin carving, to planning a costume for Halloween if you celebrate! When we have something to look forward to, we can get dopamine from the anticipation!

Labeled as "intensely addicting and crafted with a lot of love", Dave The Diver came out of early access 6/28, and the audience is head over heels for this unique RPG. This game features ocean exploration by day and running your very own sushi restaurant at night.

I've yet to play it, but the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam have persuaded me to pick it up next paycheck.

Hello, world! 🌟

Here's a hot take: maybe game reviews don't always have to be hyper-critical.

What a way to start a blog, no? But genuinely, I do feel like many reviewers/sites focus a little too much on the negative bits of a game, or refuse to give games high scores just for the sake of it. I'm here for you gamers who simply want to enjoy, and let people enjoy things. In a world that's been pretty negative lately, a little positivity doesn't hurt 💜

Anyway hi, I'm Gabi! I love love playing video games, and love sharing my gaming experiences with people. I buy and play a LOT of indie games, mostly wholesome ones, and want to talk about them + give them the recognition they deserve.

This blog is named the way it is because I have a tendency to be kind or optimistic about the games I play — if I had fun, then it's a good game, simple as that. Though I know every game has its flaws, I'm here to talk about what made me happy, and what could make you happy too! Also, I like stars 🌠

💫 A few questions to get to know me and what I plan to do here 💫

⭐What kind of games do I play? I prefer wholesome games, particularly point-and-clicks, logic puzzles, RPGs, and farm sims. I'm not afraid to step outside of this, however, and would love to try suggestions people give me!

⭐Does this mean every review I give will be positive? Not necessarily. Everyone has their own tastes, including me, so while there may be games I don't fully vibe with, I recognize that some of you might like those kind of things, and will definitely try to get that through in my writing.

⭐Why am I doing this? I originally just wanted a way to jot down my experiences with the numerous games I play, then I realized if I could get people to appreciate these games too, so much better! ✨

⭐What games am I currently playing? As of writing this, I'm in the middle of playing Fossil Corner and TOEM. Maybe one of them will be the subject of my first review! 💜
