Made a new friend but I infodump and occasionally traumadump because I get stimmed and go straight to their DMs cuz they're always so nice and understanding and supportive. Open minded, good at listening. Closer to my age than any of my other internet friends excepting ones I also consider irl friends bc we know where each person lives and their jobs and personal struggles and just. Talk n act like friends who meet up every week to chill do. + Planned meetups (like international or interstate travel) when time and circumstances and finances allow

But like @geeseinatrenchcoat was the gem I was looking for in the wreckage of my last friend group. And honestly I feel bad for spamming and talking all the time about so many things for so long and blowing up their DMs but also I love them and default to them when I think of who to turn to in times of need or boredom outside of my fiancée.

Like uhhhhhhhh send them love cuz they are truly the best system friend we have ever made. And it was completely accidental. Just cuz I was making that server and needed help and they just so happened to know it was wanted by at least a few systems. And they liked doing the technical work while I handled aesthetic and small details.

And we put it together in three days and it went up a day ahead of schedule.

I've not clicked with somebody so fucking fast in so long and it's scary and I'm worried some part of me or opinion or secret or action will turn them away or that they'll turn against me or hurt.me or start some petty unhinged crazy shit on me but then

Then I say the things and they respond with support, even if we disagree we still accept that people disagree sometimes and it's often not a great reason to bail on a relationship. Especially a new one with lots of strength and potential.

Lol not trying to make y'all uncomfy. I just felt like expressing love and appreciation for the people I view as important to me.

I may not know much about you guys but I look forward to every nugget of knowledge I glean from our interactions.

I’ve seen a lot of explanations for young queer people being so weirdly puritan, as in the no-kink-at-pride discourse, the anti-ship people working themselves into moralistic anger paroxysms over fanfic and the frequent callouts of people over harmless consensual kinks. Like people, including myself, have attributed it to the after-effects of an evangelical Christian upbringing or the related problem of the very sheltered and isolated childhoods many of these people have had. And that’s all probably true to a certain extent.

But honestly, it’s probably boils down to a simple thing: a form of queer respectability politics. All forms of queerness in cishetnormative society are seen as freakish degenerate perversion, but some are seen as worse than others. And openly disavowing other queers with weird kinks is the most common form to buy respect from normie society, and it does have some material benefits for them. It’s common to almost all forms of oppression for there to be a dynamic of asking certain sections of the oppressed to sell out other oppressed people for their own benefit. Divide and conquer. This has gone on for literally decades. The respectable monogamous cis white gay male couple who condemn those other gays who are into leather and bondage and casual sex is almost a cliché at this point.

And let’s be honest, some people in the queer community are more privileged than others and thus able to wield this kind of respectability politics against those more oppressed than them. This is why transfems are so often targeted by TME queers for callouts over harmless kinks. There is little more disgusting to the cishetnormie mind than a transfem being sexual. And so other queers are able to wield transmisogyny to build their own respectability. What all those callouts from TME queers are actually saying, if you would do a They Live glasses style analysis, is:“I’m not a degenerate perverted sex freak, but that transfem over there is, do harm to her, not me.”

Transmisogyny is so strong that the figure of the degenerate transfem can even be used to redeem previously unacceptable figures of queer sexuality. I’ve seen multiple posts that present the aforementioned leather and bondage cis gay male kinksters as wholesome in contrast with whatever evil kink they are ascribing to transfems this week. Nothing is as evil to anti-kink moralists as two trans lesbians who do fauxcest roleplay by calling themselves sisters.

And when queers deprogram themselves from cisheteronormativity, they tend to do it in very self-serving ways. They only unlearn their bigotry and disgust against varieties of queerness that apply to them. So cis gays accept that cis gay male and cis lesbian sex is fine, various TME trans people unlearn their bigotry against tme non-binary people or taking testosterone. The queer things that are part of their identity, that they are inclined to do. But basically no variety of queer listed in this paragraph have any strong incentive to unlearn their bigotry and disgust against transfems, their transmisogyny And why would they? They can use transmisogyny to their own benefit, to raise their status within the queer community and in wider society by throwing transfems to the wolves.

you've mentioned a couple times about being perceived as a more "wholesome" artist and the complicated feelings that come with that. i just wanted to say, i've been a fan of your work for a long time, but i particularly remember being struck by lady of the shard when it was first published. it woke something really powerful in my repressed queer little brain at the time and i go back to reread it every now and again. so i've been really excited to see you venturing back into more adult work with solsov, and i'm glad you seem to be excited about it too. loic and ysme have once again rattled something around in my now much more queer much less repressed little brain and i'm looking forward to being fully blenderfied with the full game

i was actually just thinking about lady of the shard in this context recently. the response to that comic was mostly very positive, so i don't mean to mischaracterize it on the whole. but when you look it up on google, "callout" is still the first suggested search...lmao. there wasn't even really "a callout post," so the search doesn't turn up anything meaningful, but i remember a few people expressed disapproval along the lines of "the author clearly condones" so-and-so, or "the author clearly has issues with" so-and-so.

it put me in a bad place at the time, but it's honestly just bizarre to look back on now. i dunno, man. lady of the shard is tame on the grand scale. i'm not going to say it's perfect, or that it's wrong to be uncomfortable with anything depicted in it (god forbid--that's what the content warnings are for) but i think the combination of even-remotely-weird sexuality with the tendency to see every "wholesome" creator as a mother hen provoked that kind of response. as many of the same folks now breathlessly praise baldur's gate, i have decided i am just going to write whatever i want.

ok i didn't really want to do this because i deleted the original posts when it had only 70 notes because i was under the assumption noone would see it but t/xttletale ended up reblogging it anyway and now i have people telling me to kill myself in my inbox so i guess i might as well give details

honestly did not know she was trans until people accused me of pedojacking her, for some reason it never registered because i guess i only see her blog when her posts pop up on my feed but you know my bad i guess

2)yes it's true the term "loliporn" never shows up but someone does say "don't say you're pro-kink and nasty gay sex if you're not supportive of ageplay, cnc, or incest shipping" and than she said "yes, and" which like. seems slightly like an endorsement? but i assume that loliporn was just kind of included with the package, because i do have evidence that toonimal would not be against that

3) i never directly called her a pedophile just that it's really fucking bizzare to have that hot take about "wholesome games" when you agreed with a take that said not liking incest porn or ageplay is "anti-kink or whatever

now did initially censor the names in the post because of reasons i'll explain later but i did realize with no context it looks like both posts were from the same person so i did end up mentioning in the tags that there were two different people before later deleting it all together. but i honestly don't feel THAT bad attributing it to her because she did both reblog the post and than also add on to it, which kind of negates the possibility she didn't fully read the post? still i did censor it again for reasons i'll explain later.

4) i kind of went out of my way to not attribute anything to her. when i talked about her weird stardew valley take i still censored them, because after being told to kill myself for having a lukewarm hot take on sex work last year i usually always censor posts when criticizng/making fun of them. i'm honestly surprised she managed to find it because i deleted it when it only had like 60 notes, and the only reason i found out she found it is because one of her followers sent be an ask telling me to kill myself. and out of curiousity i checked her blog.

i deleted this post before i post this just so her follower doesn't get harassed or whatever. but you know. not fun.

and 5) while i insist i didn't directly accuse her of being a pedophile i DID in fact accuse the person she was agreeing with of being a pedohpile. cause they are.

i'm not going to post the entire callout post cause it's honestly really fucking gross but tldr they run a "contact positive paraphilia forum" which is a basicly code for "actually fucking pedophiles" which kind of recontextualizes they entire post right? that's also why i went out of my way to censor txttletale's name and than later specify there were two different people before deleting it. because i assumed she didn't know the person she was agreeing with was an actual pedophile, but accidently agreeing with a pedophile is uh. not good. i think, someone actually informed her that toonimals was a pedophilia and she said this.

now i'm not saying you have to do a background check on every person you reblog from but if that post talks about "how pro-sex freak people need to be more supportive of people who are into incest" than actually yeah you do sort of have an obligation to make sure they aren't an actual fucking pedophile. the entire basis of that post is "people should stop being mean to actual sex freaks" and you not only reblog it but add onto that yeah that's a fucking issue because 99 percent of time the people who make those posts ARE actual fucking pedophiles, so yeah you probably should be a bit wary. because like.

this is my issue, i don't think you're a pedophile because you don't think there's anything wrong with fiction/sex acts that depict immoral things, my issue is that that logic is used and agreed upon by actual pedophiles. pedophiles are agreeing with you! that's not great! there's my issue with your logic!

ok i might get blocked by a couple ppl for saying this but the Jackson’s Diary fandom is seriously making me wanna become a proshipper out of spite (read the post before blocking me or whatever please)

like idk if u guys have checked the fandom tag on ao3 recently but theres been a bit of drama surrounding the fact that someone posted a smut-fic of Exer (an 18yo) and David (an almost 18yo, who was aged up A FEW MONTHS for the fic) and they were harassed into taking it down and making a fucking apology post ON AO3, THE PROBLEMATIC FANWORKS WEBSITE.

and this fic was tagged 100% correctly like it was very explicitly tagged as smut n stuff yet there were still a bunch of comments being like “uhm what did i just read 🤨” and when i made a comment defending the authors right to yk, not be harassed for making not even rlly problematic content someone who clearly would suffer withdrawal symptoms if they turned twitter off for too long started arguing with me abt how “erm ackhtually we should be allowed to comment harassment under ppls harmless and explicitly tagged fics cause theres no smut in this fandom and it shocked us” and u could just rlly tell they felt they were more righteous than God in their opinions and yeah so cut to tonight when i’m scrolling through the tag and i see a post titled “i’m so sorry” in which the author made a post basically being like “i’m so sorry for posting that ik it was disgusting it has been permanently deleted” which in the comments a few ppl were telling them that what happened sucked n stuff (myself included // judging by their reply they only did this to stop the harassment which yk, completely fair) and i went back to scrolling since i wanted an actual fic not fandom drama but like 2 posts down there was another post titled “please stop” or smthn like that where someone else made a post basically being like “guyssss can we please not write smut of these characters this fandom is so wholesome i dont wanna ruin it 🥺 anyways sorry this isnt a fic this just needed to be said lol” and like dude, my guy, WHAT THE FUCK?!

this is AO3, this is a fanwork archive that as far as i know was created (at least partially) due to the fact that ppl kept getting their “problematic” works taken down from other sites and the creators wanted to yk archive all fanworks. this is NOT a social media site where u can make callout posts abt how what someone else posted disturbed ur pure wholesome chaste scrolling by daring to uploaded something with *gasp* consensual sex between 2 consenting adults?! (or canonically 1 consenting adult and 1 consenting gonna-be-an-adult-in-a-few-months-but-isnt-much-younger-than-the-first-guy but u get the idea)

like guys, ao3 is not twitter. it is not tiktok, it is not tumblr, its not youtube, its not even wattpad. it is not a social media platform, it is a fanwork archive, specifically one that lets u post whatever kinda content u want (yes, even smthn depicting 2 consenting adult/almost adult participates that are in no way related having sex, ik its crazy what they allow online these days).

I’ve received notice that there was a callout on me in the Stanley Parable Creator’s Club server and I would like to address it as I am a bit tired of people talking behind my back. I wasn't contacted by anyone from the server directly about the issue.

The specific accusations were that I openly discussed a fic with NSFW themes to a minor, shared NSFW fic online without properly warning it for minors, and encouraged a self insert ship of one of my Narrator designs with a minor.

These accusations are false, or blown entirely out of proportion. I have never intended to hurt people nor endanger minors and based on screenshots I've received, people have been spreading even more extreme misinformations, like me being a groomer. I want to tell the story with the mentioned earlier things, in hopes to clear up this matter and stop the harassment me and people received.

1) Sharing NSFW Fic Online

I have been informed that I posted a link to my fic, "A broken promise", without a proper warning.

I did put appropriate warning in the tags, however I did forget about archive warnings options and I misjudged that the T rating would suffice. I also had only mentioned the rape in tags and not in the ao3 warning. I will be more careful when publishing work in the future.

I've deleted the links on my posts and privated the work, as I do not want anyone else to get possibly harmed.

2) Filk

I was informed my never written fic was discussed in the discord as well with a completely incorrect premise and I would like to mention the idea to give people more insight into what it actually is supposed to be, despite the fact that it was never actually written.

Filk (Fernator's milk) is based on a joke someone made from another fic of mine, "Bon appetit 1.5 - Chicken soup is served " where Stanley buys milk and pickles, and we called it pilk. Somebody made a joke that this is like a pregnancy craving and I decided that that would make a funny CRACK fic premise. Again, I never have written this fic, and the only place it ever existed was in a series of messages in a private discord.

The whole point of crack fics is that it has a stupid premise. In here, it was one of my Narrator's, Fernator, telling Stanley he would make him pregnant. I know that this sounds like the problem, but that was just a premise.

What really happens in the fic is that Fernator tells Stanley about human reproduction but after that, the majority of the fic is a sfw adventure on how viruses, bacteria, and plants reproduce.

With bacteria, Stanley just gets copied, with viruses, Fernator creates a computer virus and it doesn't work so they move on, and with plant, the title filk comes in which is milk with fern spores in it. It ends up just in Stanley's foot. The end goal was for them to just get the cutout Baby as their child and then, the main fic that I talked about would end. After a while, they would realise they didn't really succeed and would try to make something, pouring filk onto Fernator and creating Pickle Rick.

The accusations of this being a non con confuse me as Stanley is happy to be brought onto this journey and there are no actual sexual activities involved in this not written project.

3) Art with minor

One person was very supportive of one of my Narrators, Jester (they drew him a bit), and even started to call him their husband. Since they're my friend, I wanted to make them happy, so I drew something I deemed wholesome and platonic. They also took my drawing this way.

In my eyes at the time, when I made the art, I never thought of this 'ship' as anything other than admiration for a design.

However, that context got lost when they reposted my art on that server with my permission.

I now see how people could think otherwise and I will be far more wary about this topic in the future.

However, while the announcement didn't use the exact word 'groomer', it highly implied it. I feel wronged for that as I received a lot of harassment in my direct messages.

I would like a statement and an apology from the announcers because their words caused a lot of harm.

4) Conclusion

I want to finish this off with being honest about the mistakes I've made of not properly checking sfw spaces - which started all this - and talking about suggestive matters within them. The fanfiction link was certainly a slip up but I will be more careful in the future of what I post.

However - I also want to say that it's not okay to harass people who got involved in this.

I myself have received false accusations already and seen my work be misinterpreted. I only learnt about this through buds giving me a notice and I do ask, if a similar situation would ever occur, which I don't plan on, to message me directly first about my mistake.

In the future, I will remember to double check where I discuss my fic ideas and I'll do everything in my power for this situation not to repeat.

I've been listening to the Hazbin Hotel soundtrack on repeat (...again), and I just can't get over the way the Hazbin haters are a self-parody. They all sound like Adam in "Hell is Forever."

Please, tell me more about how the story with a moral of "eternal punishment for perceived faults is horrific and inhumane, and the system that allows it must be changed" is a piece of irredeemable media. Tell me aaaaaaaall about how a show with a cast full of queer people and people of color is the worst thing on television right now because it's "immoral" and "problematic" and "trashy."

Like, holy shit, you don't have to love the show or be in the fandom, but Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss being tumblr's newest "if you like this, you're a Bad Person" is beyond parody.

Beginning to think The Good Place and it's "People improve when they get external love and support. How can we hold it against them when they don't?" message was only so popular on tumblr because they censored all the swears and never got too explicit about people having pleasurable sex.

Tell me how Mindy St. Clair's kinky sex and drug use is any different than Angel Dust's. How Charlie's hotel plan is any different than the system the Soul Squad comes up with. Tell me why enjoying one of these shows is good, wholesome entertainment, while enjoying the other is grounds for an instant block and a callout post.

Tell me how Hazbin Hotel is somehow more "irredeemable" than The Good Place when they have the exact same fucking message.

Never thought I'd make this kinds post tbh

I first have to say please do not witch hunt, harass any of these individuals nor my account, I am only looking to inform you about the situation at hand.

If you try to witch hunt, dox or harass me you will be blocked. I do not condone any if that shit.

First of all must say this callout is about the recent AU appearing in the Pizza Tower Fandom called Asylum tower.

The AU compromises of peppino in a straight jacket commonly used to detain violent, unpredictable or malicious intending mentally unstable people, which on record has been used last in 1956. Peppino has a unamed mental illness similar to schizophrenia, psychosis and delusionry (despite the creator claiming he has none/unspecified*)

* which causes confusion with the straight jacket since if he wasn't mentally unstable why would he need a straight jacket

As someone who has experienced/ has had family who've experienced psychosis, delusionry and schizophrenia this is highly disrespectful and glorifying the aspect of Asylums and mental illness.

The creator has been harassed for these reasons exactly *either in a constructive or harsh way* but has either deleted all claims or come back in a non professional manner.

One of their posts which has now of today been deleted from their account had an untasteful way of handling the situation along with a disrespectful PTSD joke at the bottom.

I find it highly suspicious that someone would delete this covering up their distasteful way of handling things. And not actually point out the AUs many many problems

1. The term asylum isn't used anymore and is often associated with torturous conditions, unhealthy ways of coping and treatment and is only used in serious films/serious TV series and is glorified by hollywood. The term used now is mental clinic or just hospital in general.

The way they treat patients now is much better but from personal experience than I share with others and my family is it still torturous and brutal and half the time you end up worse or , worse case scenario the end doing suicide. So using this theming must be treaded lightly.

2. Straight jackets are no common place anymore and are mostly used In Hollywood as a way of dramatization of a scene in general and is a very unethical way of treatment. Using it for simple means like psychosis, delusionry or schizophrenia is like killing a thief for taking an apple. Unethical and a ill stereotype. In general not a fun cute wholesome thing and shouldn't be bounced around.

3. White padded rooms are are the stuff of movies and really padded rooms are torturous and not a fun thing at all that is not funny in a comic light that they re trying to portray.

4. The handling of this situation on the creators part is fishy at best, as I said one of their explanation posts was unprofessional and made a half baked joke that is honestly offensive. It seems like they are really try to play up the victim card here. I understand the feeling of being harassed since I have been under that light as well, I understand the stress but these posts/way of handling things from all parties has been a mess.

The creator has stated that some traits that the pulled are meant to be funny but they simply don't line up.

Claiming that a character isn't crazy but your clearly making them crazy in a straight jacket doesn't look good and is honestly doing the opposite for you.

Honestly these feel like cover up lies as well as dismissing the criticism given.

There's is nothing comedic about this au in its current stage, and honestly it should stay that way. The AU is distasteful all round.

People are dancing around this and making fanart similar to the clover kit situation. Only no one is acknowledging the larger image and only think at base value.

I'm pulling myself away now and anyone involved in the Asylum AU/ fanart chain please do some research/ please pull yourself away as well. This is not a quirky thing and never will be. If you condone this I'm not gonna block you but i will raise an eyebrow.

As a simp I played that game solely for him and ended up hitting the wall running to fast to his desk. So I'm asking for something like that where the reader is like ya know always happy to see him. Maybe even buys him monsters often, watches him play his game and quietly cheers for him. Ya know like a little wife who just wants him happy. (And obviously that he kills ofc)

In the form of Hcs unfortunately, I just pulled a whole fic earlier and I needa break. Also I’m writing this as pre extension demo, where Josiah works as an IT alongside you (mc).

Josiah is always delighted to see you whenever you turn from the corner straight to his desk. Sometimes you clumsily run too fast and hit the walls that surround his desk, which leads you to double down in pain once you smack your entire body into it. He always makes sure to crouch besides you and rub your back, making fun of you while doing it but also making sure you’re okay.

He always pulls a chair out for you to sit next him whenever you have time. It’ll be much more comfortable than his, most likely snagged from your manager. He makes sure it has extendable options for height.

When you sit with him, he always leaves options open on what to do without ever saying them. He waits for your lead.

Sometimes you talk, mundane things like that. Or maybe deeper conversations that make you both think. If you were feeling bold, talks about romantic stuff like dates would make him feel flustered. Not in a bad way of course, he truly wants to do a lot with you.

Maybe you’ve gone out together once or twice before becoming an item, but this is different.

If you choose to watch him play games, he happily agrees. He’ll boot up his computer and start up CS:GO while you sit patiently.

When he starts matching, he’ll give you a lil glance and smile.

You watch intensely, looking at everything he’s doing.

He’s really good, you notice. Probably the best in the game honestly.

Every kill he gets, you mutter a “Ooh! Nice!” Which boosts his ego, especially if it was a tricky kill. You might even throw a few more words in to show how much you really pay attention and it makes him smile a little.

When he gets killed though, your quick to comfort him or come to his defense.

If you feel spiteful, you’re going to be quick with calling it an unfair kill. They camped? SMH, they should have been a good sport and played fairly (biased because if Josiah camped you wouldn’t bat an eye).

If Josiah doesn’t make a comment after his character gets killed you’ll fill in the silence.

If you feel chill, you’re quick to comfort him in a softer way. Not in a “You’ll get it next time” way, you already know he’ll go after his killer the moment he respawns.

“Cmon! You got this! He’s at that corner right there!” If you turn into his callout partner, he’ll be immensely happy. Usually he gets distracted when other people disturb him but when it comes to you and your voice, it becomes a guide for him.

He reacts fast regardless, but appreciates your efforts. Every time you tell him there’s a person at the window, near the courtyard, etc, he downs them immediately. Even if you don’t finish your sentences he’ll give you a high five for the teamwork.

He’ll also pat you on the head since your head is most likely chest level for him. How well you both did will show when he’s done ruffling up your hair.

Side thought that might be ooc, but I dare you to poke him when he’s gaming. He might think it’s an accident at first but when you keep doing it he knows it’s to throw him off. His sides are the weakest.

When you poke his waist it does a C curve and you laugh at that. If he dies he will most certainly poke you back in the same spot or any other known sensitive spots tenfold. Don’t mention this to him, but you know entirely that he’s pouting.

If you keep adjusting the chair in order to avoid him while he’s trying to poke you, he’ll set the chair down with both of his hands at the handles to keep you in place. This is your chance to poke him again but at both sides. Or this could be your chance to rizz him up and seduce him out from poking you everywhere.

Good luck soldier, just letting you know that he won’t stop until you’re crying and begging for mercy, which you’ll most likely do if there are other people around. (A/n: help I just realized this sounds suggestive, I assure you it’s all fun and games 😭)

Monsters are his go to. Always. How his digestives aren’t failing is a story for another day.

You always make sure to buy monsters whenever you have time in the morning. There’s almost always a quick trip to the mart just to get them everyday. When you round up the corner with a monster and smile, Josiah always makes sure to return the sentiment as soon as he can.

You’ll get a monster for his morning schedule, afternoon schedule, so on and so forth. Maybe you’ll even take a sip from his can to celebrate whenever he wins a game.

Now for general, many of your co-workers have to look from the side or tip toe and peek over the walls just to see if you’re there. Josiah on the other hand will make crude paper airplanes and send them over your walls. If you ignore his first initial airplane, he’ll make another one and aim for the center just so it can hit you. If you ignore that one as well, he’ll keep making them and wait until you finally come over to him and talk to him. (He will especially do this if you’re mad at him).

When you go to the archives to retrieve something, he always has to accompany you. Even with a ladder, you can’t reach most sections. Josiah, in his petty ways, would use his powers to hide or get rid of the ladder just so you can ask him for help. “Whom, moi?” He would innocently ask.

When you get confused on something during work, you can always ask him. He’s an expert after all.

He’ll explain to you what you need to know with total patience. With his chin resting on your head of course. His body will completely envelop yours while he’s explaining btw.

Show any visible awkwardness and it’s over. (Endless teasing and just to egg you into to saying something to him, he will get even closer).

Remember that Josiah is not a man of organized words. Teasing is his love language but, yeah. That’s all he’s confident in.

When he’s slightly annoyed with you (or jealous) he will stand over you, casting a long shadow and blocking your path. His face is definitely menacing. However you can just laugh with love at his attempt and he’ll laugh with you too, not taking anything he did before seriously.

Sometimes when you work overtime in the dark, he’s either your personal protector or personal devil. Just rest assured that he will never go home without you.

There isn’t a lot to go on about his actual person, but just letting you all know that I write him slightly influenced from Benrey from half life.

I'm tired of seeing my mailbox filled with rude anonymous messages. I want to stand up for myself even. I never felt like I have the right to justify myself, so this is rather a vent post than a response. I'm probably going to be yelled at for this post... but this is simply my genuine feeling. The line of morality has been blurred and I don't know what I'm doing is right or wrong anymore.

It really confuses me how people are so offended by Asylum Tower. I do feel bad about it but to this day, I still don't understand what has gone wrong.

I'm not the first one to make asylum-related au. There were multiple times where asylum aus were created. For example, Asylumtale from the Undertale fanbase is a pretty well-known au. I haven't seen people complaining about it.

I said I wanted to keep the content wholesome, doesn't mean that I'm trying to make asylums look friendly or whatsoever. I never had the intention of making Asylum Tower Peppino a "soft uwu boy".

I acknowledge Asylum Tower is fiction. Just because I'm drawing Asylum Tower, doesn't mean I support mental hospitals that treat their patients badly. Like... if I am to draw a killer, does that make me someone who supports murders? Absolutely not!

I feel like you're choosing to look at my artworks, waiting to get angry at this point.

I saw a "callout post" accusing me to be a manipulator. God I... I don't even know what to say. I feel sad, angry, paranoid, but whatever I say are all "words for manipulation" now. I can't even have feelings?

And I saw Recovery Tower recently. It makes me uncomfortable how it's claimed to be less offensive and friendly to the people who has past experiences with asylums, but the core of the idea is no different compared to mine. Even the creator said that they liked Asylum Tower.

I feel hurt and confused.

Ramattra x Omnic Reader (gen)

Word count: 1544

Word on the street claimed that there was an old visitor returning to the Monastery, one who originally sought peace who then brought chaos to the cities and villages around the world. Humans feared him, and rightly so as he didn’t stop his attacks, no matter the casualties from both ends. Why he was coming back was unknown - some speculated that he realised his mistakes and wanted to fix it, others thought he was going to use the Shambali to whatever advantage he could think of, while a small number of villagers believed he just wanted to come home.

Having been away for years, Ramattra knew that his presence was going to be anything but kind, but after multiple failed attacks, he only wanted to go back to a place where he originally sought peace, wanting to clear his mind from endless errors. It was a final attempt before he would end his battle. If he manages to clear his systems, then he would go back to fighting, wanting nothing more than to see the human race end and omnics rise. Afterall, that was what he was programmed to do.

He had a strong hatred coursing through his wires as he stumbled onwards, staff being used as a crutch while he entered the village. Many humans and omnics alike stepped back, watching on as the ravager walk ahead, seeking the one place he called home many years ago. It was slightly unnerving to him, all these eyes and optics watching his move, but he dismissed their gaze, head held somewhat high as he walked the steps into the Monastery.

Upon entering, some old familiar faces greeted him, others thanked him for his attempts at bringing peace while the rest carried on about their day and not paying him any interaction whatsoever. He shrugged at the thought, making his way back to a familiar room. His room. A place he stayed in for years, silent meditations on his own, old and scrapped blueprints littering the desk. His room had been untouched and he was grateful for that. He made a promise that he would return, however when he would was a different story, until today.

Ramattra stayed within his own quarters for the remainder of the day as he worked on repairing himself. First it was the stiff wrists, joints grinding whenever he moved them, now finally oiled up and back to how they originally were. With his wrists now moving smoothly, it was his arms next. Scratches were ever present, scars from his battles, but he working within his chassis, fixing the frayed wires and tubing so that he was able to function.

He worked for most of the night and early morning before he started to reset his systems, wanting to clear any and all error files from appearing again. His senses were the first to shut off, optics slowly going dark and all information glitching before disappearing. Eventually, he entered a form of rest mode whilst his systems updated, the lights on his forehead slowly glowing orange.

He was at peace for awhile.

When everything came back online a few hours later, his apertures adjusting against the light, he spots a smaller shadow move beside him. He pays it no mind at first until he fully comes online, orange lights now red.

His neck twists, looking over at the figure beside him who was placing a small bottle down, the liquid inside black and quite viscous. His visitor was that of another omnic, although the appearance was nothing like he had seen before. He looks down at the bottle, oil, the larger omnic thought. He feels his vocaliser click before he speaks.

“Thank you.”

The sudden callout catches this smaller omnic off guard as they stand up straight and quickly nod before quickly leaving the room.

Peculiar… Ramattra shakes it off, looking off in the direction the other omnic ran. He releases a sigh as he plans the rest of his day.

Your robotic heart was racing. The fear was ever climbing inside of you as you hid away in your own room, wanting to calm down. You had seen him when he first arrived, but he didn’t notice you and you were glad for that fact. He was terrifying. You had heard the stories about him, the way he was fighting for your kind, for omnics, but you didn’t want to be anywhere near him in fear he would tear you apart.

It was conflicting. You were an omnic, much like him, but you felt more human. Being around them for most of your life so far, you had only ever been treated with kindness. In fact, you had never seen a human act so evil around you. Of course, there were always the news stories that stung, but the ones you were around were ever so kind. It made you wonder why the ravager was killing them when not all of them were evil.

You stayed in your room for a moment longer, internally planning your day, hoping to whatever god was out there that you didn’t bump into him.

He noticed you avoiding him when he went about his schedule. An omnic afraid of another omnic. A part of him wanted to challenge you, to ask why you hated him, but he refrained from doing so. He knew he wouldn’t be staying long anyway and this entire thing would be over the moment he left.

Ramattra would watch on, noticing how well you interacted with the humans who’d pass by the Monastery. He could hear your vocaliser rising in pitch as you’d laugh, the way their gestures made your circuits warm, and Ramattra could only scoff at the notion of an omnic and human being friends. Yet, something inside of him yearned to be around you…

The more you looked at him though, your own optics scanning him, the fear would only continue to grow. He is planning something, you thought, processors going through any and all scenarios of what could happen in the coming days.

You were too deep into your own thoughts that you didn’t watch where you were walking, colliding into something and falling back against the floor. A few errors popped up in your vision, but you dismissed them, looking up and instantly freezing.

Ramattra looked down at you, optics scanning over your body for any injuries. He cocks his head to the side slightly, moving his arm to offer you a hand up, but when you flinch, hiding your petrified gaze from him, he tenses.

“P-please… don’t hurt me…” Your vocals were quiet, systems working to try and calm you down.

“Hurt you?” The larger omnic questioned.

When met with silence, Ramattra knelt down, looking over you. “I do not want to harm you.”

You shuffle back a little, metal scratching against the stone floor as you keep your head turned away from him.

It takes a moment for Ramattra to come to his senses and he sighs. “Are you… Frightened of me?”

You could hear the curiosity in his voice, a slight pained tone mixed within. You nod, not being able to speak as you feel your vocaliser reset a few times, only a static noise escaping each time.

Ramattra seems taken aback. It was surely a first for him, an omnic afraid of another omnic… He seemed a little curious as to why you felt this way, but then he remembered the way you were acting with the humans and it suddenly made sense. He couldn’t help himself when he chuckles, slowly standing back up. He raises his hand again, a little more slowly than the last time.

“I do not wish to harm you.” He repeats.

Looking up at him, sensors scanning for any form of hostility, you release a shaky sigh, a puff of steam escaping from your back. You hesitate before taking his hand.

Ramattra pulls you up, grip firm in your hand before he lets go.

“I… I am sorry.” You mutter, looking off to the side.

“Mistakes happen. How about we clear the air?” He offers, optics looking at you, unfocussing before focusing back onto you. “Ramattra.” He offers his hand once more.

You look back at him and then down at his hand. “[y/n].” You shake his hand, the servos connecting with a pleasant hum. Ramattra felt this, a gentle like feeling flowing through him as your hand warms his up.

“Perhaps we can meditate together?” Ramattra asks. “Or talk.”

You nod sheepishly, feeling slightly trapped into the situation. “Sure…”

The larger omnic places a hand on your shoulder, wanting to reassure you before he chuckles, pulling you along with him as he talks about his stories from when he was first present in the Monastery. He keeps the conversation light, wanting to make sure you were comfortable.

Though the fear was still there, never knowing if he would snap at any moment, you were somewhat glad he was taking time out of his day to befriend you, to put your qualms at ease. Ramattra wanted the dust to settle, and perhaps, he thought, going back to fight was beginning to feel like the wrong idea… Especially if he made his own kind fear him.

Many of you may know of my mutual draculagerard, probably for the "im not projecting i AM that character" post Sam has gained a considerable amount of popularity recently, and that's why I find it necessary to make this CALLOUT post. What follows is a list of TOXIC behavior from Sam in recent months including links to posts.

draculgerard has a consistent record of PARASOCIAL interactions with fans. See here and here. These SICKENINGLY WHOLESOME exchanges are proof of his willingness to establish friendships with mutuals, making him a DANGEROUS individual!!!!

You all have seen draculagerard's SPN posts, whether you know it or not. While I understand that the idea of promoting s*pern*tural is a hotly debated moral question, it's clear that Jon takes it to an unacceptable level.

He has been known to MANIPULATE fans into watching the hit show, and encouraging them to share their thoughts on episodes . This OBSESSION with the show borders on ABSURD. Our YOUNG, IMPRESSIONABLE mutuals should not be subjected to such content!!!!!!

Not only are they rabid about the ghost show, they've supported other problematic fandom things like RPF. I won't go into detail here, but you can read it for yourself here.

Finally, Jon's MCR posts must be addressed. Jon often makes serious comments about Gerard Way and other My Chemical Romance band members, saying he "loves them" is "made insane by them", etc. This has even gone so far as MISGENDER CISHET ICON GERARD WAY, referring to HIM as a "girl"?!?1?!

The year is 2025. RWBY may or may not still be in hiatus, or cancelled, or still ongoing.

At least 50 more useless side characters have been added to the cast.

Maria and Pietro are still missing. Ruby comments by saying "Huh, I wonder where Maria and Pietro are". Yang replies "Maybe they're off on a date", Blake replies "Oddly wholesome" and they all laugh together.

The current villain is a dark-skinned male Faunus who happens to be a working-class family man who is fighting for a social issue that is oddly relevant to some real-life events in 2025. But it's okay guys, bad people corrupting noble causes is still totally a valid way to write villains.

Bumbleby is still not canon. Yes, they are still calling it a slow burn.

Cinder is still fucking alive, oh god why

Rooster Teeth has officially exhausted their entire supply of bright-eyed creators who aspired to work on RWBY. They finally hit their goal of either firing or expiring the contract of every last one. That'll teach them for having dreams.

The merch now consists of $500 shirts with RQBY sewn in microscopic fibre on the inside of the fabric. The show name was misspelled in the first print run, but enough people complained about it that RT just went "alright, fuck you guys" and didn't bother to change it since.

About half of RT's legacy staff have confirmed to be in some sort of really fucked up scandal. The other half made callout docs and tweets, which caused the fandom to be angry for a week before they went back to sharing fanart as usual.

RT is now currently using a new production pipeline, where every single animator's contract only lasts for a single episode, before they leave and they find new people to animate the next one. They're hoping to further optimise this process next year by making it per scene instead.

There is a new RWBY side anime coming out, animated by prestigious animation studio Cocomelon.

An entire team of four unambiguously queer Hunters were killed onscreen. CRWBY has blamed the first death on a team of rogue, disobedient animators accidentally drawing her kissing a girl and confessing her undying sapphic love for her - she wasn't meant to be seen as a lesbian. The second death was blamed on the fans, the crew saying "this was supposed to be a side character, but you all started liking her and demanding more screentime for her, so fuck you" in the Volume commentary. The third was a monkey Faunus with comically yellow skin, squinted eyes and a long moustache named Mu Fanchu whose Semblance involves him making monkey noises and his weapon is a giant banana - surprisingly, he turned out to be secretly evil. The fourth just died offscreen because she was a fan character who won an OC fan design contest, but they had no time to include her in the show - in fact, the time her death was mentioned was the very first and only time the character was introduced.

Jaune says onscreen "Somehow, Ironwood has returned."

Green Dust is now Fire Dust, which Eddy confirms in a Reddit post - not in r/RWBY, but in an obscure reply in r/fantasygeology. No one found that post until 2 months later and when asked, the reply was "Green fire exists, I can see how you can get them confused".

Ozpin has now reincarnated into Oswald Pint, one of eight new boys currently with RWBY's group and for some reason have more screentime and agency than the girls. Oscar died in Volume 11 Episode 3 in a sickeningly distressing torture scene - that's the episode, the whole episode was the torture scene.

The fandom is abuzz over the newest queer rep in the show: a talking glass of water named Clear, who is genderfluid.

RT releases a RWBY mobile game only available in two postcodes, is not written in English and discontinues it after 3 months due to "stupid fucking fans not engaging with our products". Fans continue to insist that somehow, this must still be either WayForward or SHAFT's fault.

Jaune Vs. Aquaboy is slated to release next year. In fact, Volume 11 stopped in the middle of Episode 4 and will be on hiatus for the next 3 years until the crossover is out.

Speaking of Jaune, he just killed Nora. In fact, he did it just as I was posting this. Oh, he's killed Ruby too. And Clear our genderfluid queen, and Aquaboy as well. Oh god, he's looking this way, help me

The year is 2025, and if one thing hasn't changed, it's that hardcore RWBY stans are still around. When asked about the state of RWBY, they had this to say:

"RWBY is still amazing, and CRWBY is still amazing. Shame about those queer and PoC employees... oh well! I'm supporting manufactured fictional minorities so same thing, really."

You've completely summed it up, he is finally a non-derogatory representation of an effeminate queer man and straight fans burnt his canon to the ground so they can make their dream masculine babyboy shy twink.

God it fucking stings doesn't it? It literally hurts just to think about how much Larian risked by even putting Astarion in the game. A western game at that too where forum after forum are full of incels complaining about women not being inflatable sex objects in their game.

Baldur's gate 2 and 1 never was this inclusive, it was strictly hetro except for the remastered npcs. Astarion by himself probably made them lose half their "old-school" homophonic demographic.

And the fandom takes all of that and makes him another fucking joke of a character? All the people who have never played the game would search up the Astarion tag and get a completely wrong impression of him.

Not once did a character before him made me leave a game because I was disgusted with myself. His storyline and writing is phenomenal because I too objectified him at the start then the game called me out for it in act 3 and it changed my world view so much.

God did you know early access had Gale and Wyll be awkward if a male Tav hits on them? That only Astarion was the always accepting person regardless of gender?

Even now he is still the only male character between the two who openly expresses his interest in men! Who embraces being flamboyant and doesn't try to fit into a narrative.

I completely understand anon, and I know how much bpd and autism highlights these feelings and make them dig like nails at your brain. Yes I have them too. And I'm glad you feel comfortable enough to share your thoughts with me.

It must be more frustrating for you tho, for liking Astarion and being lumped in with the rest of his weird fans without your consent. You can't even filter their posts out because they treat their takes as "normal" and how it's not them belittling a queer character no! They're just being "wholesome"

Fuck the batstarion shit still gets on my nerves. I saw one with a baby bottle feeding him??? It just feels so infantilising because he isn't some cute animal he is a fully grown and matured person. If it's just a kink then sure idc but please tag it at least.

Then they make him "shy" around women. You know why that god awful take was probably born? Because most of his straight fans picked women and went into his romance. So they think that his clumsy personality in act 2 is because they're a woman and he is so used to men.

It's fucking disgusting, Astarion would treat both men and women with the same clumsy romance, all my Tavs were nonbinary and he never treated them differently.

You have every right to feel this way, you have every right to be furious at this. Especially with a character you care about so much.

But people will take advantage of that, people who want to start fights for the sake of fights or drama blogs who are itching to make a callout post. People don't like others poking holes in their logic no matter how good your intentions are.

Homophobia exists, racism too, look at how ignored Wyll is by these supposed fans. Look at how popular Gale x Astarion is than x Wyll because both of them are white.

It's okay to vent and it's okay to feel frustrated and stuck. God knows during some bpd episodes I come very close to deleting this blog bc of the smallest of reasons, so Imagine actually having a valid reason to be mad like you.

Take a step back, fuck those people honestly. Fuck anyone who ever did this shit just for their own self indulgence, who left all the media that panders to straight people and came and took Astarion too just to strip him of all of his traits and put him in the hetro box.

So leave them be, they suck, they're shitty and never willing to listen. Don't waste your frustration on them, it's better to yell at a wall, at least, unlike them, it might reply back with something productive one of those days.

Again, I hope you feel better soon. I genuinely do, these feelings suck beyond words can describe. Do something you like or revisit your favourite works that stay true to Asterion's character. Ground yourself with anything that might help.

Don't feed them or reply to their arguments, please. hopefully, they leave the fandom once the new manufactured tumblr sexyman is released and the Asterion tag.
