A/N: Hey! This turned out to be really hard to write and I was kind of lost with it, but I hope it’s good enough for you. I wrote this a while ago but it's quite similar to this one.

Marcus loves to be close to you. There will rarely be a moment when he isn’t touching you in one way or another.

Marcus also loves it when you initiate any type of closeness. It shows him your trust and care that you have from him.

Caius and Aro have yelled at Marcus once or twice for not doing his work. I mean it’s not his fault that staying in bed with you is so much better.

Marcus is very honest with his feelings so any misunderstandings that you may have will be resolved very quickly.

And if you aren’t feeling okay, for whatever reason Marcus will be by your side in a second to comfort you.

It doesn’t matter if you are talking or not, Marcus enjoys just being with you.

If you ever ended up hurt or something, Marcus will be very emotional, and his main priority is helping you to get better. He hates seeing you hurt and if he could have stopped it, he will blame himself for it.

I’m of the opinion that Marcus’s love language is all. He accepts all the forms of love and is ready to show his love and care for you as you would like it the most.

Bella Swan is Autistic: An Analysis

(Disclaimers: I enjoy Twilight in spite of its problematic elements, not because of them or in ignorance of them. There are as many different ways to be autistic as there are autistic people. Many allistic people will relate on some level to some aspects of the autistic experience; this does not make them autistic. This is all just my opinion, based on my experience as a late-diagnosed, low-support-needs autistic woman. I am aware this is not a brand-new original idea.)

I reread Twilight (I think for the first time since getting diagnosed 4 years ago) and I found a bunch of things I relate to Bella about. Below the cut is a list of some of her autism-related character traits with quotes for textual evidence. The links lead to articles explaining how these traits relate to autism. The list is ordered chronologically based on page number of the accompanied quotes. Page numbers are based on the paperback edition with ISBN-13: 9780316015844. A backslash in a quote signifies a paragraph break. I’ll update if I read any of the other books or rewatch the movies and anything new comes up.

Bella has trouble regulating her emotional expressions: she has to put conscious effort into how she presents herself

"I'd always been a bad liar" (p. 4). "For some reason, my temper was hardwired to my tear ducts. I usually cried when I was angry, a humiliating tendency" (p. 25). "I had never been enormously tactful" (p. 31). "'My face is so easy to read -- my mother always calls me her open book'" (p. 50).

Bella is shy and a bit socially awkward: she avoids attention for fear of embarrassment

"Charlie wasn't comfortable with expressing his emotions out loud. I inherited that from him" (p. 7). "Mr. Varner... was the only one who made me stand in front of the class and introduce myself. I stammered, blushed, and tripped over my own boots on the way to my seat" (p. 17). "To my dismay, I found myself the center of attention for the rest of the week" (pp. 68-69).

Bella feels different from other people: she doesn’t know how to connect with others and feels pressure to fit in

"I didn't relate well to people my age. Maybe the truth was that I didn't relate well to people, period. Even my mother, who I was closer to than anyone else on the planet, was never in harmony with me, never on exactly the same page. Sometimes I wondered if I was seeing the same things through my eyes that the rest of the world was seeing through theirs. Maybe there was a glitch in my brain" (pp. 10-11). "I answered honestly, instead of pretending to be normal like everyone else" (p. 47). “'My mind doesn't work right? I'm a freak?' The words bothered me more than they should -- probably because his speculation hit home. I'd always suspected as much, and it embarrassed me to have it confirmed" (p. 181).

Bella has a unique sense of humor: other people don’t get her jokes and she doesn’t get other peoples’ jokes

"'You don't look very tan.' / 'My mother is part albino.' / He studied my face apprehensively, and I sighed. It looked like clouds and a sense of humor didn't mix. A few months of this and I'd forget how to use sarcasm" (p. 16). “Bella was being unintentionally funny” (p. 367).

Bella finds comfort in routine: the change in routine from moving was difficult for her, and she felt better once the new routine became familiar

"I fell into the pattern of the familiar task gladly" (p. 33).

Bella is academically gifted: she finds assignments easier than her peers do, she has already read the books assigned in her English course

"'Were you in an advanced placement program in Phoenix?' / 'Yes'" (p. 47).

Bella enjoys being alone: she is introverted and enjoys solitary activities

"In a lot of ways, living with Charlie was like having my own place, and I found myself reveling in the aloneness instead of being lonely" (p. 54). "I've never minded being alone" (p. 241).

Bella has motor difficulties: she is clumsy, uncoordinated, accident-prone, and bad at sports

"Possibly my crippling clumsiness was seen as endearing rather than pathetic, casting me as a damsel in distress" (p. 55). "My sense of direction was hopeless; I could get lost in much less helpful surroundings" (p. 136).

Bella has special interests: Edward and books

"... no one else was as aware of Edward as I always was. No one else watched him the way I did" (p. 69). "I was sitting in my room, researching vampires. What was wrong with me" (p. 135)? "... they didn't know how preoccupied I could get when surrounded by books; it was something that I preferred to do alone" (p. 156).

Bella is perceived as different by others: a history of social exclusion is hinted at, Edward’s mind-reading doesn’t work on her

"'It's better if we're not friends,' he explained. 'Trust me.' / My eyes narrowed. I'd heard that before” (pp. 74-75). "He enunciated every syllable, as if he were talking to someone mentally handicapped" (p. 83). "'My mom always says I was born thirty-five years old and that I get more middle-aged every year'" (p. 106). ".'.. maybe your mind doesn't work the same way the rest of theirs do. Like your thoughts are on the AM frequency and I'm only getting FM'” (p. 181). "'You're not like anyone I've ever known. ... / ... 'I have a better than average grasp of human nature. People are predictable. But you ... you never do what I expect. You always take me by surprise'" (p. 245).

Bella has sensory differences: she notices and is bothered by things others don’t and aren’t, she engages in sensory-seeking and sensory-avoiding behavior when stressed

"'People can't smell blood,' he contradicted. / 'Well, I can -- that's what makes me sick. It smells like rust ... and salt" (p. 100). "I put in my headphones, hit Play, and turned up the volume until it hurt my ears. I closed my eyes, but the light still intruded, so I added a pillow over the top of my face" (pp. 129-130). "'You're always crabbier when your eyes are black ... I expect it then' ... 'I have a theory about that'" (p. 171). “For three and a half hours I stared at the wall, curled in a ball, rocking” (p. 425).

i think all you have to do to gain leah’s trust is to just be honest with her

if you have moments where you just feel like not talking and she tried to talk to you, literally just let her know that

if you don’t feel like talking about something, tell her

just be open and honest with her

i think her love language might be words of affirmation (receiving) and acts of service (giving)

thats not to say that she won’t be physically affectionate, its probably just secondary to the ones mentioned

i think she wouldn’t really be a big fan of pda, especially around the pack bc they would probably tease her (watching the movies it just pisses me off that all the other wolves seem annoyed with leah bc of the sam/emily/leah situation while they aren’t annoyed at sam or emily. like they should be annoyed by any of them bc if any of them were in the same situation, they would be acting the same as leah or worse)

anyway, just font hide shit, like let her know that you’ll talk about something when your ready to if you aren’t at the moment

also give her space when she needs it but still let her know that you’ll be there if she needs you

About Amun and Kebi(the egyptian coven), what are your thoughts on their relationship? Amun chose Kebi for her obedience and beauty😬, but is Kebi a person at all? Did she had a choice in turning? Does she really love Amun(back in the day Amun and other vampires pretend to be gods🙄)? Does she knows about feminism? Why can't she leave Amun? Stockholm syndrome? I am willing to bet a lot of money that Amun has cheated on her and was planning to make a harem before he was dethroned by the Volturi.

Given the fact that Kebi was a slave, I highly doubt she was given a choice about turning. As to whether she has any genuine affection for him/why she can't or won't leave him...the Twilight wiki states that "[t]hey seem to love each other[;] however their relationship is one more of master and slave, with Kebi barely having a voice and following Amun's commands without question."

If I had to guess, Kebi's slavery-altered (i.e. unnaturally submissive or "loyal") human brain was frozen like that when she became a vampire, and thus she's never had the impulse to rebel against Amun (even if he's cheated on her) because "rebellion" is no longer even a word in her vocabulary at this point. Even if she wasn't a slave for the entirety of her human life, it's very likely--considering that vampires canonically forget much of their human lives, and that she's thousands of years old--that she has no memory of not being a slave. Which is absolutely Terrible.

I also think it's Terrible that we don't hear a peep about this from any of our "Good Guys"--but since they're secondary characters & pretty much everything that doesn't have overt implications for Bella/Edward/Renesmee in Breaking Dawn gets filtered out; and since Stephenie Meyer casually throws out in an earlier book that one of the Cullens literally fought to defend slavery in the United States & then never meaningfully addresses it again ( 🙃🙃🙃), I can't exactly say that I'm surprised.

Continuiations of the one I did for earth ponies! Here’s my headcannons on unicorns, featuring twilight (pre-ascension) and rarity <3

Text reads:

- The color of a unicorn’s magic is determined by their ‘aura’ color. This color glows from the ‘rings’ of their horn while performing magic.

- unicorn ears are more similar to a zebra’s in size and shape.

- The superstitious believe that the shape and length of a unicorn’s horn is indicative of different proficiencies, power, and even personality.

- Long, curved horns are widely seen as the most desirable/attractive. - It’s not uncommon for unicorns to dock their tails, however it is most commonly seen in blue collar workers.

A unicorn’s potential power is largely genetic. However, proper education, magical exercise, and type of magic use is the largest factor in a unicorn’s functional power.

"Darlin'?" his country accent rings out through your dark and empty room,his vampire eyes easily letting him locate you hurried in the covers on your bed where you sniffle quietly.

He watches in the reflection of your mirror as you squeeze your eyes shut, almost af if it would hide you from the world. If he wasn't so worried about you right now he'd chuckle at the sincerity and childishness at it.

"Bad day, Darlin?" he tries again, and you hum back in response - unable to get your voice to work right now.

At that, he's kicking off his shoes and climbing into bed with you, turning your lamp on as he goes so you can see him. Her pulls you close to him and holds you tight.

"want to talk about it?"

You shake your head no.

"want me to use my gift?"

You hesitate, but ultimately shake your head no.

"... want me to leave?"

You shake your head no.

His thumb rubs soothing circles into your side and the sniffles die down eventually. "I'll let you have tonight, but I want you to talk to me tomorrow. Is that okay, sugar?" his accent becomes a bit thicker in the vulnerable moment.

You nod, turning over and hugging him tightly. Face buried in his neck and arms holding him tight, you mumble a small "thank you, Jasper" before you fall asleep in his icy warm embrace.

The Mane 6 all going after their go to creative activity! This was directly inspired by the MLP Art/Creative Discord server we set up, since it got me wondering what each would enjoy and share of their own.

AJ making adorable little wood creatures. Rarity obviously doing some creative sketching. Pinkie doing some art - which I imagine as falling into expressionism. Fluttershy composing melodies and songs, possibly with lyrics. Rainbow doing art as well, though pure chaos and just letting out all her emotions, going for abstract until it feels right. And finally, Twilight being a writer (she will absolutely deny writing fanfiction while being completely red faced).

have no mlp hc so far! going with main six from fsim

Twilight Sparkle when the reader has a panic attack

a bit taken ack at first she's used to being the one having panic attacks due to stress not used to seeing others panic too much

thankfully though, because of this, she knows plenty of tips to help she'll make a mental list of things to try help you calm down

starts with breathing and counting getting your breathing on track is a top priority and counting is a pretty useful trick could be counting your breathing or taking deep breaths while counting anything else

if your thoughts are a mess and spiraling she'll try helping you rationalize giving reason to irratic thoughts can also help someone relax reassurance is one of the best ways to ease worries

if you want a hug afterwards, she'd be more than happy to give you one with a wing over you too

she'll ask if theres anything she can do to help you feel safe and tries not to overwhelm you with anything

Rarity when the reader has a panic attack

she's very quick to try and console you

she'll see you start to panic and take you aside to help you get a hang of your breathing if youre anywhere near a crowd, loud space or other ponies in general she'll take you aside to the closest spot thats quieter or offer to go on a walk with you so that you arent overwhelmed and find it easier to calm down and focus on breathing

she'll offer words of affirmation and something textured you like if you need it

rarity will gladly set things aside to help you relax possibly even close the boutique early and either take you on a spa day or style your mane while giving you some affirmation and reassurance

she'll attempt at quelling your irrational thoughts and/or doubts by reasoning with them and attempting a bit of humor pinkie may have rubbed off on her a bit, she picked up more of the "cheer up through a laugh" approach because of pinkie

you will get a lot of her big sister side she more than likely helped sweetiebelle out with her own panics especially before the cutie mark crusaters so she would probably default to her gentle older sister tone ever now and then while consoling you

Pinkie Pie when the reader has a panic attack

at first will just tell you "hey its okay" and possibly say something on accident that might make your panic worse depending what you panic over she's not the best at reading people or 'reading the room' when it comes to things outside her usual domain of expertise

if it persists (and it likely will), she'll be unsure what to do and feel bad until she gets an idea

might give you either a paper bag or more probable a balloon to help you focus your breathing somewhere you might end up just making balloons with her if this trick really helps you

pinkie will try and distract you from the scary thoughts anyway she can she'll find a way to make you laugh, make faces or tell jokes she'll ask you about your interests she'll offer to tell you about her day, about gummy or share a silly story or even ask you about your day to recount how it went before the panic attack

she'll offer to let you hold gummy if he's close by and if you think that might help

if you have any comfort food or like sweets and eating might help in any way you better expect pinkie to be getting you some snacks

Rainbow Dash when the reader has a panic attack

rainbow will bring you a cloud, or multiple if youre a pegasus, she'll either get you to fly around, through or up to clouds with her or bring the fluffiest one she ca find over to you if you cant or dont want to fly if youre a unicorn and youre able to, you could use twilight's spell for walking on clouds and get to play with a cloud she brings over if not she can just bring you enough clouds to give you a cool mist

she might try creating a small cool breaze for you with her wings she's not sure if it'll help or anything but she'll try

she'll try distracting you by showing off some tricks maybe even attempt another sonic rainboom just for you

early seasons dash would have brushed it off, told you everythings fine, that youre overthinking and need to just "be cool" but later seasons dash does less of that and would be a little more compassionate she'll try hard to come up with things that might help but she'll still argue that some of your thoughts are just you overthinking

pretty quick to be realistic about a situation if youre panicked over a test or an event she'll tell you you'll do fine and you'll breaze past it, even tell you the jist of what you'll expect so youre prepared on top of being realistic she can be really reassuring if she tries

she knows what its like to panic over a crowd or competition she can have some pretty good tips that she's learned instead of stalling and avoiding like using your imagination to make things less scary and intimidating

Apple Jack when the reader has a panic attack

aj is the most likely to offer to just talk things through, aside from fluttershy she'll help you face what's causing you to panic and listen to you get it off your chest she knows talking about your thoughts out loud can help you see how irrational they might be and make it easier to disprove them

aj will give you reassurance and reasoning but also any advice you might need now or for future panic attacks

she'll get you to count something like "how many apples is a bushel?....and how many can fit in a pie?" while youre taking some deep breaths

if taking a walk or stretching your legs helps she'll offer to walk it out with you, maybe while you talk or she'll offer to go for a run around the orchard with you to help get the panic energy out

will get you a cold glass of apple juice if you'd like

might even give you her hat untill you feel better

Fluttershy when the reader has a panic attack

she will ask any animals of your preference if theyre okay with you petting them especially if petting something soft helps you relax

if you'd like she can ask birds to sing a song and you two can just sit quietly and listen

fluttershy will gladly offer hugs and forehead bonks

she's an amazing listener and her soft and quiet approach can be really comforting

she knows what its like to be overwhelmed and often has panic attacks herself especially related to social anxiety she she'll offer to try any of the tricks and things that normally help her

she will try to offer reassurance and reasoning after listening to you however shes much better at offering reassurance than reasoning

if counting helps she'll get you to count critters with her taking deep breaths and counting all the critters around the area or her place or even just count breaths alongside you

she knows the best quiet spots to relax and get way from stressors around ponyville she'll take you to the closest one if youre okay with walking she'll even tell you all about the animals and plants around that spot
