Question?

Tell me, which of these would make a better Alpha for an Omega Izuku? Personally, I like both for different reasons.

Bakugou Katsuki: He is a typical Alpha type; strong, aggressive, confident, and passionate. He is certain of who he is and what he is going to do unless Izuku is involved. Because of his previous treatment of Izuku, he feels that he isn't worth the warmth the omega exudes constantly, but he is willing to DIE to protect it, to protect HIM. He will sound angry and cuss up a storm in the eyes of the public. He also sounds like he despises Izuku when others are within earshot, but at home, his voice softens with a hint of an edge to it. At night, in their den, Katsuki will cuddle and speak sweetly to Izuku, especially when Izuku has a nightmare (which given the war, that happens often.) NOTE: The GIF I used for Katsuki was chosen because it looks like he is looking at Izuku, then telling somebody in front of him to back off, or they will get an explosion to the groin!

Next!

Todoroki Shoto: He is not a typical Alpha. Sure, he is strong and he can be passionate, but he isn't wholly aggressive and he isn't all that confident. This comes from his past. As he was pushed to be better than the best, he was told that emotion was a weakness and that he should throw away all weaknesses. His father did his best to make an aggressive, cold-hearted powerhouse that surpasses all, and he was for a time...until Izuku came along. With that fateful fight, and Izuku convincing Shoto that he was his own person and that his quirk was his own, Shoto changed. The aggression eased off some, and his emotions started to resurface. Although confident in combat due to his training, around others, and especially around Izuku, his confidence shatters. He is afraid to hurt Izuku and will treat him gingerly. Upon Izuku accepting him, he will steadily grow more passionate; more passionate about loving him, caring for him, and protecting him. Like Katsuki, he feels less than worthy of Izuku's affection, but also like Katsuki, he is willing to die to protect and prove his love for Izuku.

Conclusion!

Both guys love and cherish Izuku in their own ways; Katsuki is more loud and edgy, while Shoto is more gentle and unsure in his affections. I can think of several stories for both of them! What do you think about what I have said? What can you add in support of them? What can you add against them? Please, I would love to know your thoughts!

hm ok fem todobaku hcs for my current fic.... these are a mix of situational psychology and completely unserious fyi hope they are somewhat interesting nonetheless

both of them are obviously #not like other girls in this but in ways that i feel reflect their standings in canon & also the way things would play out in canon if they were girls. like katsuki to me is always a fundamentally privileged and gifted individual but she doesn’t have direct family clout so in this she’s just minor nobility via mitsuki’s half-brother which still leaves them in a very comfortable position & more importantly gives her the confidence/social channel via jeanist to claim her position as an avalonian knight once she displays the required abilities. she’s Aware that she’s an exception but this does not particularly perturb her because katsuki is Always exceptional and cognisant of it. for shouto the fact she’s literal royalty & more importantly the obvious choice of heir also frees her from normal social expectation in the same breath as it traps her in the usual endeavour heritage position. she’s kind of Beyond/above the conventions and constraints of normal society by virtue of her isolation as well. it just felt impt that their positions in the world still feel true to character.

anyways because of the above both katsuki’s knights & shouto’s entourage regularly forget to treat them as the Ladies they are on paper, which they do not care abt but people around them take issue with. mitsuki in particular has thrown things at people for talking abt Her Daughter The Current Duchess of Liones like she’s a sword-brandishing simpleton amongst others. it’s a cultural thing. which also means on the flip side you have people like yoarashi who is from a very Warrior-Centric culture & post deciding to do a 180 on shouto finds it super offensive when people talk to her like she’s Not the skilled fighter she is.

on that note they have both killed people in this au, which is kind of inevitable considering they’re both army leaders, albeit at different scales. i just think making heroism circumstantial is more fun than having 1:1 values in canon and in faux medieval wartimes, + it’s sexier than P13 violence. shouto tends to be in situations where bigger numbers are involved; she does avoid killing where she can but she’s very utilitarian. katsuki usually has to handle smaller conflicts & so she’s probably quicker to go for the throat than shouto is, since there’s no dishonour in striking someone down who’s about to do the same to you.

shouto is such a horse girl in this. like they all ride horses but it just fits the vibe. she has to get across a Really Big Kingdom a lot & she shuns human connection. it’s only natural.

obv katsuki and izuku have their whole ‘izuku was katsuki’s beleaguered page boy when she went off to knight camp before getting to be the chosen one’ backstory, but the katsuki of it all is obviously that katsuki is in fact the (1) girl in knight training and she’s only there because when recruiters were passing through she pulled the whole ‘merida in brave shooting for her own hand’ schtick and embarrassed some actual knights aged like twelve. mitsuki was seethingly mad. jeanist was also not impressed by his niece’s complete lack of ladylike propriety but he knows talent when he sees it so it was off to joyous gard with her.

on that note precocious teen katsuki obviously wasted no time ensuring all of her fellow knights-in-training knew who was going to be ruling the roost, mostly bc of typical bakugou egomania but also so no one got any ideas about their masculine superiority. there may have been some ‘sparring accidents’ and bed-wetting involved before everyone kind of accepted the pecking order. they had some complications when puberty came around- katsuki may or may not have disfigured one or two peers before the dust settled. fantasy medieval times are rough!

shouto on a similar note doesn’t really think of herself in patriarchal terms by virtue of her position/personality but she does have some hangups of her own that feed into the general chip on her shoulder. the court obviously loves to gossip abt their queen the madwoman locked in her tower & todoroki being her spitting image as well as the heir apparent is part of the reason she stays so stone-cold in stressful situations despite the temper flaring beneath. this is also why shouto is older in this fic while still having more of a s1 shouto persona going on.

between the two of them katsuki is the one who primarily dresses in quote unquote men’s clothes despite setting bc she has a Style that is better suited by shirts / pants + she will not tolerate any frills and ruffles and constriction so most courtly dresses are no-gos. shouto as always is less cognisant of anything like a personal style so she doesnt really care what shes wearing & also she kicks ass regardless of what she’s in, esp bc she mostly handles things long-range.

in her infancy katsuki mostly got dressed by mitsuki and an army of servants so there are one or two priceless portraits of her in intensely kitsch yellow dresses with ribbons on her shoes and hatred in her eyes. despite their very distant relationship mitsuki gave jeanist one of these that he kept in his private chambers the whole time katsuki knew him and she can’t prove it was to fuck with her but she absolutely believes it.

shouto’s portraits are far more numerous and fall into 2 main categories which are 1) official portraits, featuring shouto throughout the years and styles with the exact same neutral expression or 2) unofficial portraits, which tend to fall into the romantic category and thus depict her as a sensitive maiden with wistfully languid eyes or blushing demurely at the onlooker. shouto has some strong feelings about painters as a result.

on that note katsuki prefers getting hands-on in fights; todoroki likes them to finish fast, so their choices of weaponry reflect this. yeah they can use their essence but those r less powerful than quirks so often they just go with traditional weaponry also. katsuki is a sword girl bc she likes to get up close and personal when she offs someone and todoroki goes for archery bc she likes being able to dispose of the enemy before they even approach. they both appreciate a good dagger though.

btw the fic should be read as an amv set to get another boyfriend by the backstreet boys but the girls are the ones singing it and midoriya is the hapless protagonist.

As someone who started shipping Bakudeku years ago when it was mostly hated by the fandom and was like the 3rd ship with the most fics on ao3 because Todo/deku and Kiri/baku were quite massive at the time, I honestly can't believe whatever the fuck is happening with these pining idiots. Random headcannons i have about class 1A

A/n- There's a little mha × Y/n.

Cars

When Kirishima gets his drivers license, he gets a red truck. And puts a crimson riot sticker in the back window

Bakugou, on the other hand, gets an orange sports car

Deku drives an SUV, because he likes to drive people places

Iida runs everywhere because he can

Jirou carpools with everyone, especially mina

Momo and Uraraka are roomates because one is poor and one is rich, so momo drives her around

Denki and sero are also roomates, and they have a 70 malibu because denki thinks its funny

Mineta isn't tall enough to drive bacause hes to short, so he ubers because everyone would rather be dead than be caught with him

Todo drives a skyline because his friends said they were cool, but no one could afford it, so now, he has a skyline

Training

Deku spends most of his time training when he isn't, you know, being a hero

Most of class 1A have scheduled days where all 20 of them and sometimes Shinsou and tetsutetsu because denki and Kiri but bakugo wont go unless kiri drags him

I am a full believer in kiribaku, so when their in their early 20's, they move in together. which is a custom-built modern home. And they (kiri) like to invite old classmates to their training grounds at home.

The only people Bakugou LIKES training with are you, kiri, mina, Shinsou, and (he won't admit it), deku

Todo and Momo usually train together. I AM NoT SHIPING THEM THEY ARE FRIENDS LET IT STAY THAT WAY

Off-days

On the odd chance they have an off day, almost everyone sleeps in

EXEPT FOR BAKU, TODO, AND DEKU. If anything, they wake up earlier, so they can train like the assholes they are

The girls have spa days

Iida goes on runs and tunes his mufflers

Sometimes deku goes to see his mom, same with todo

Sero, denki, jirou, mina, kirishima, momo, and sometimes deku and bakugou go to karaoke or a bar. They also try new restaurants and go to the movies,

MHA 2.12 - Todoroki vs. Bakugo - part 3

This is my first watch of MHA, so no spoilers please!

You know it is tragic when Iida starts breaking the rules. I know he is a teen, but he has the build of a full grown 30 year old man. Look at those broad shoulders.

At least he is alive. I guess this show is not the type to actually kill off characters, huh? I like that MHA has an optimistic tone (I say, staring at this poor man near death in a hospital bed).

Oooooh, we get to meet more of the family. His sister is a cutie. Todoroki really came out swinging as a major character this season. I am excited to see how he develops over the course of the rest of the show.

How must a Mom feel seeing a child after so many years apart. The last time she saw him was when she burned him. He was five, they lost so many years, and she didn’t get to see him grow up.

THE SHADE! Deku can be under-the-radar snarky sometimes. Do not sass your mother, young man.

I love that we got a mini character arc for Inko, who went from telling her son he could not be a hero to trying her best to support him.

It is no accident that we get two mother-son relationship scenes back to back. Some comparisons are being drawn between the two situations. Deku has the benefit of his Mom’s love and support. He has a secure relationship with her to the point that he is able to take it for granted a bit, with his sass about how worried she is. He is a little dismissive even (typical teen). Probably used to her fussing, lol, they are both super sweet.

Whereas, Todoroki believed his Mom did not support him (burning his face and all) until he unlocked his memories of her during the tournie. Now he is going to face his Mom and past, because he knows how important those connections are to moving forward on his own path to becoming a hero.

This is the funniest thing this show has ever done. I laughed so much I almost choked. Bakugo really is just like that.

Is that Bakugo’s Mom? They really decided this episode should mother hard.Yet, another mom-son dynamic to compare here, but we only get a tiny bit of her. She’s just yelling at him to shush it. I want to meet her, please, don’t be all we get of Bakugo’s mom.

They really decided to show us tons of family members this episode, we have Iida’s bro drama, Todo-sis and Todo-mom, Baku-mom, and good old Inko. I want to meet everybody’s family, it makes the characters feel more real and fleshed out.

It had been a week since the incident and everyday you seemed to be getting worse. If he knew the stupid bunny was going to cause you this much grief he would've never agreed to getting you it in the first place. He only caved because you always complained about being alone and he was gone most of the day doing hero work. So reluctantly he picked up the creature from the pet store one night and brought it home to you. It was probably the only time he had ever seen you genuinely smile. Some time had passed and he was honestly kinda annoyed at how much attention you paid the stupid creature. Cooing at it and cuddling it to sleep. He wished he never got you the stupid thing in the first place.

And then his wish came true.

It was just another night after work, he was exhausted coming home but looking forward to seeing you. As he approached the door to your shared prison home he froze. What should have been muffled humming, a habit you took up since getting your beloved pet, was replaced by loud sobs. A million thoughts raced through his mind. Had someone attacked you? Did you try hurting yourself again?

He practically busted down the door. Eyes wide and frantically searching until he found your form sitting on the floor, back facing him.

"Y/n?! Why the hell are you cryi-" In seconds he was by your side but abruptly stopped when he took in the scene before him. You sat there in a heap clutching the once full of life bunny in your shaking arms.

"H-h-he was just-just jumping a-around and then he-he made this h-horrible noise a-and he-he hasn't m-moved!" He could barely understand you through your choked cries but with the limp animal lying there it wasn't hard to piece together what the problem was.

Sighing he tried to get you to calm down saying crying over a stupid animal wasn't worth it and that he'd just replace it for you but for some reason that made you cry even harder.

Eventually he was able to take the thing away from you and out of the apartment. When he came back you were still on the ground in the same place.

"C'mon don't cry, I said I'd get you another one didn't I?" His tone was that of impatience and annoyance but his face said otherwise. Honestly he hated to see you upset and just wanted you to stop crying. The only reason he got you the damn thing was because you cried about being lonely. God this was such a pain in the ass...

When it seemed like you were never going to leave the ground he came over and pulled you up by the arm, surprised a little at how compliant you were.

Your sobs had turned to sniffles at least, but it was like you were in a daze as he led you to the bedroom.

After helping you wash your face he led you to the bed. Still a little shocked at how you didn't even try to resist his touches at all like usual.

As he was finally about to drift off he heard the muffled sobs again. Sighing he reached a hand over. Eyes widening in surprise when not only did you take it, but you used it to pull him closer until your head was stuffed into his chest. He didn't even care you were soaking his shirt, too stunned that you were this close to him willingly.

Hesitantly he pulled his arms around you, not wanting to ruin the moment or somehow bring you back to a reality where you loathed his touch.

But you didn't move, you just snuggled deeper into his chest, crying your heart out while he cradled you until eventually you cried yourself to sleep.

The next morning he left you in bed to go and start cooking breakfast. It was a rare day off so he had time to make pancakes and some other things. While he was at the stove he heard you shuffling into the room.

Glancing over his shoulder he saw your puffy eyes and sad pout. His thoughts drifted back to last night's moment.

He turned back flipping a pancake, "Breakfast is almost ready, go on and get out the plates"

Instead of shuffling towards the cabinet like he expected he felt your presence behind him.

"Huh what is it?" He turned again seeing your head downcast. Confused, he raised a brow watching as you raised a single hand to his shirt and secured it there like a safety pin.

Like a child you clutched onto him. He stood there dumbfounded, frozen by your actions until the smell of burning batter got his attention.

"Ah Shit" he dumped the burned cakes into the trash and continued to cook all while you held onto him.

Even when he set the plates down he noticed how your chair was scooted just a bit closer than before.

Was he dreaming? How did you go from despising him and his touch to...being needy? Clingy even?

He wondered how long until you snapped out of it but he found he didn't really mind. After breakfast he sat in his office doing some paper work but found you hovering near the doorway soon after. So he gave up and asked you what you wanted to do.

Cut to half an hour later he was watching some sappy cartoon movie while you lay your head on his shoulder. He'd sneak glances your way every now and then. Your eyes glued to the screen but hand near his.

If he knew all it was gonna take was that stupid pet dying for you to want to be near him he would've killed the damn thing himself.

He swung an arm around your shoulder and smirked when you snuggled closer.

Yeah, he could get used to this...

Deku

"Please don't cry! It's ok! I'll get you a new one ok?!"

"But-but I don't want a new one! I want him!"

Izuku sat helplessly on the ground beside you trying to get you to calm down. He had been sleeping peacefully when your yells had him shooting out of bed.

"Y/n?! What is it?!?What's wrong?!?!" He was by your side in an instant. Frantically he looked you over for injuries but didn't see any.

"H-hes g-gone!! You pointed to the boarded window and he squinted seeing a small rip in one of the screens. Finally he pieced together what must've happened.

"Oh Bunny I'm so sorry..." he sighed relieved that nothing was wrong with you but upset that you were crying.

Hesitantly he reached an arm around you but practically jumped when you threw yourself on him, sobbing into his chest like a baby.

He froze for a moment, not believing what was happening but then wrapped his arms around you, patting your hair softly.

"Its ok, everything's going to be ok honey, how about we get you washed up and put on that new movie you like until you fall asleep?" he practically melted when you offered a tiny nod into his chest.

Carefully he helped you up and to the bathroom. Several minutes later you were tucked back in bed together.

About halfway through the movie he heard the sniffles begin again. He moved to go grab a box of tissues from the bathroom but froze when he felt your hand pulling at his arm.

"D-don't go..." your eyes sparkled with unshed tears as you quietly begged him to stay by your side.

He nodded eagerly and cuddled beside you, taking advantage of this rare opportunity and pulling you closer to him.

Todoroki

He didn't mean too. He really didn't mean to. But it had been an impossiblely long day and everything that could go wrong had gone wrong.

So when he came home in the middle of the night to the stupid creature growling at him he only got more irritated.

If it wasn't for how much you loved the stupid thing he would've gotten rid of it ages ago. He didn't understand why it loved you so much but practically bit his head off whenever he approached.

"What are you growling at mutt?" He glared at the creature standing protectively by the door to the bedroom.

He tried side stepping it but the damn thing lunged for his leg instead.

He didn't mean to kick it so hard...truly he just reacted. But when he looked over and realized the mutt wasn't moving he knew he messed up big.

Quietly so as to not wake you he removed the animal from the house and came back inside. Not knowing how he was even going to explain this one to you in the morning.

He sighed looking at your form under the covers sleeping soundly. He felt horrible.

The next morning he was awoken by a hand on his shoulder. He was startled at the contact but quickly memories of the night before flooded his mind. His vision focused to a worried looking you standing by his bed.

"What's wrong?" He asked as if he didn't already know.

"I-I can't find him, I think he got out somehow, can you please go out and look for him Shoto?"

He didn't even know what he was doing, but somehow he found himself outside for an hour looking for something he knew damn well was gone.

He could have told you the truth but honestly this was better.

You had cried when he came back empty handed. Even though it killed him he offered you another pet but you refused, too heartbroken to even consider another companion.

He became more worried as the days went on but you remained just as sorrowful. You barely touched your food and he could count the number of times you spoke on one hand.

He tried cooking your favorite meals, renting your favorite movies, even letting you go on a walk (at night and with him holding onto you of course) but nothing seemed to snap you out of this sadness.

Then one morning as he was slipping on his boots for work he found you hovering near him, shyly looking down.

"Y/n? Is something wrong?"

Your eyes met his and his own widened at your teary expression.

"S-stay..."

"Huh?"

"Please Shoto" you pulled onto his arm.

"I don't want to be alone...please?" And how could he say no when this was the first time since he'd taken you that you'd willingly wanted his company.

He should've killed that Mutt months ago...
