Mechanic!Mammon has been living in my head rent free ever since I saw your og posts! I love it so much.
I can just imagine him rag sticking out of his back pocket, hands dirtied with grease, and a smile on his face as he leans over the engine, wrench in hand. He's got music playing over a stereo or radio he brought outside as he hums along with the tunes as he works.
Then you come out and bring him a drink cause you know this man hasn't paid attention to how much time has passed and really needs to take a break to eat, but hydration first. And he take it, wiping the sweat off his brow with the back of his hand, leaving a streak of black grease across it and gives you the biggest smile as he grabs the glass and nearly downs the whole thing.
And you stay, watching him, handing him a tool occasionally as he works. You climb into the driver's seat and press on the brakes for him when he asks so he can check that it's working right. You toy with the car radio that he finally got wired back up correctly and make sure to save your favorite channel (and his too, if you're feeling generous) so it's all ready to go. And then dinner rolls around, so you help him put away his tools and parts and help him pull the cover over the car for the night. And just before you both enter the house again, you reach up and wipe that grease mark that's been resting on his forehead, which he gives you shit for not telling him earlier, but you just smile.

I'd say I'm sorry, but you seem to be enjoying it, and I'm enjoying talking/thinking about it too!

Yeah, because Mammon isn't afraid to get dirty with using his hands (example in Accessories in Abundance and Christmas Tree), he probably wouldn't mind getting a bit of oil and grease and whatnot on him, but my thoughts go to what he would wear. Like, an unzipped mechanic suit revealing his chesticles is hot, but he isn't exactly going to have that kinda outfit at home. Plus, his other clothes are super expensive brand-named things, so he wouldn't casually wear those. So, I've thought of something as a stand-in: baggy jeans with a tank top and an open, kinda oversized button-up shirt with the sleeves messily rolled up. Maybe he even has something to keep his hair back! Like a headband so you can see his sweaty forehead, but him having a forehead matted with wet hair is also very appreciated.
He would definitely be playing metal music or something of that variation or maybe R&B that fits the mood for working on a car and getting amped up. He would definitely be humming to the music. He would also probably hit a high and use a wrench or something as drum sticks if he's listening to metal music!
Like, just give the man a gallon of water or hell lemonade, because if I know one thing about working on cars is that people get sweaty.
I would like to think that Mammon is handy with tools because I believe canonically he works on his own car, but I find it immensely funnier if he doesn't know the technical names for all the tools besides a wrench and the standard screwdrivers and stuff. So, he's telling you he needs that tool that looks like a wrench and functions like a wrench but isn't a wrench, and you're guessing what the hell he's talking about because there are standard wrenches of various sizes and different looks. You hand him what you think he's talking about, but he'll tell you no, no, it's the one that's bigger, the one that's got little, like, teeth in the opening, it's got an adjustable piece that helps it widen or close for the bolts and nuts. It's a spanner, btw.
Lmaooo, imagine as you're sitting in the car waiting on him to tell you to tap the breaks and you accidentally hit the accelerator pedal and scare the shit out of him because the engine revs super loudly but makes a choked noise and some clanking. You both think you just choked the car to death but it was just the engine having loose parts and not having been used in a while. He fusses at you because you scared him, but you remember his face too hilarious from being startled to really listen beyond being more careful.

Irl we have a broken car that doesn't work at all, and now I'm picturing MC telling Mammon about their broken down car, and when Mammon asks what the problem is with the car and MC can't explain, they just take him to the car, and now Mammon has a project he works on. Also, what if he works part time as a mechanic, and when he works on cars, he's totally focused. As in so focused, he doesn't realize if MC visits him at his job as a surprise. Similarly, my dad used to have an old Chevy truck that he had for a couple years and tried to spruce up, and he was massively into racing cars (we had so many racing video games and he had built a track table for track sets and we'd go to car shows), so I have some knowledge here
I can't remember when it was stated in-game, but Mammon has mentioned getting car parts for his Demonio, and I do enjoy Mammon having something to do outside of greed-related stuff and his relationship with MC, but what if we take this passion project a little further?
Mammon has mentioned liking convertibles and potentially getting one later.
So, maybe MC was looking at used cars, and they stumble across this beautiful convertible. Something about it strikes their fancy, and they tell Mammon about it. Well, turns out the body is the only thing working on it, so the car is selling for cheap. Apparently, something strikes a chord with Mammon as well, and he decides to get it
Next thing you know Mammon has this car, and he has parts and pieces scattered around the area of the yard the car is parked in at the HoL. He's working really diligently on it, and it kinda becomes his hyperfixation for a bit.
Also, Mammon does have a habit of really concentrating and getting absorbed in what he's working on (an example in his card Abundant Accessories), so this is definitely possible, and MC has a habit of staring at Mammon when he gets into a certain state of mind (examples in Abundant Accessories and You Always Ride Shotgun). I think they like watching him when he gets like this, and I do believe they would enjoy watching Mammon, even if their surprise visit does get ignored.

Dick grayson has gone undercover as a drag queen at least two times. Both times there were other disguise options but he Batman glared every time someone mentioned it (He slayed so hard)
this reminds me of this fic on ao3 kind of. him, jason, and tim abandon their usual undercover roles and go undercover as queens at a bar to find the perpetrator of repeated attacks on patrons. (it's a very good fic, definitely check it out).
i don't think he'd be the type to fuss over the undercover identity he has to take on missions, if that means he ends up crossdressing (whether it be as a queen, or just going undercover as a regular woman) so be it.
if the bats are trailing a high-status criminal, and their plan needs an 'inside woman' to chat the guy up at the iceberg lounge for intel or a distraction, i can 100% see dick offering himself up for that role, to spare one of the girls from doing it (not that he thinks they're incapable, he'd just rather spare them the weirdness of interacting with middle-aged socialite criminals).

Thinking about how Reiner's decision-making as a leader is influenced by a need to a) fulfill a mission; and b) for the sake of someone else.
So when it comes to making decisions that are solely from himself he's lost and unsure of what to do, because his mind spirals back to how those decisions will affect the people around him.
You tell him that it's fine to be scared; but he needs to take the first step of truly deciding things for himself.
He understand you, but it doesn't make it easier.
"You can hold my hand until you feel it's safe enough to let go. And even if you do, I'll be behind you to push you up when you feel like you'll fall back."
That's what you promise him.
He is overwhelmed with emotion; never having felt this kind of support. It was different from they type of support he received. Different from his mother's who had expectations for him beyond himself, different from the military who had expectations for him to be the perfect warrior, different from Zeke who had expectations for him to remember that his failure was the reason everything happened in the first place, different from his friends whose expectations of him were slowly being rebuilt after the shared experiences of both loss and gain, different from the kids whose expectations were for him to be the role model that could be followed...
You didn't have any other expectations of him other than for him to be himself.
And that was what scared him. What if who he was, who he REALLY was, was something irredeemable... with damage too broken and shattered to be fixed. Once he puts down his mask of being a soldier... of being a warrior... of being the Armor... what the hell was he left with other than the child who he had chosen to cast away for the sake of what his mission needed?
"I... can you—"
He was struggling to say what he wanted. Not knowing where to start and fearing how it would end.
"I want you to stay by my side." He blurted it out. Selfishly. Greedily. As firm as he can be, letting his heart and every fiber of his being bleed out the last remnants of courage that he could muster.
His expression's filled with guilt and apprehension. What was he going to put you through? He knew it won't be easy being with him. But he wanted you there.
It was his first big decisions that he made solely for himself.
And that decision was to have you in his life.
