Haha, but no, these patterns are really more like guidelines these days. Terezi already doesn’t have a lusus, and TA quit his own introduction page in a huff. We can’t be 100% sure that any of these will hold anymore.
That’s the closest thing to a ‘canon’ pronunciation of Terezi’s name as we’re going to get - although, really, it’s up to the reader.
If any class would just have things given to them, it would be the Heir. John is much more likely to react to things than be pro-active, and I think the fact that he has a class that evokes just being given things is deliberate.
This is why I don’t think GA is Vriska. She just doesn’t have that X-factor.

So I’m thinking abt watching the new td season. I’m prob gonna split it into chunks bc it’ll be my reactions to all the episodes plus pre & post thoughts of the season, so if you wanna know my thoughts, just go to the 'total drama revival episode rambles' tag
Firstly, let’s start off with some pre-watching thoughts. These are just bullet points based on the trailers and promo pics I’ve seen. (I’ve only seen part of one trailer—I forgot which one—and some of the promo pics.)
I know most of the major details of the season bc of spoilers but I’ll try to pretend like I don’t lmao though there might be some occasions when I reference smth—I’ll put those in brackets ( [ ] ).
Now onto my thoughts!!
PRE-WATCHING THE TD SEASON:
PRIYAAA!!! [ A lot of ppl on here initially brushed her off as the Nice Girl, but I was with her from the frigging start and wanted her to go far in the season! ] As a desi female, I was so so happy to see desi rep AND her name is Priya!! It’s so pretty and ties into cultural heritage, and fgdgdgdgd I’d already hc her as bi fyi (yeah it could be me projecting on her, that’s okay. That’s f i n e. She seems like such a bisexual though)
Axel should be a lesbian. It’s what she deserves
Tbh I never rlly vibed with Ripper. Sure he seemed cool and ppl kept calling him the ‘nowen child’ but he’s pretty meh to me
I didn’t rlly try to guess who the gay couple would be ngl. But I lowkey wanted one half of it to be Chase bc it would’ve been so funny if the one person most ppl labeled as The Token Straight was n o t like imagine how many mouths that would’ve shut 😂

I just hope he doesn’t end up like Dave. I adored Dave when I started PI, but then…all that happened and he’s hated so much. Genuinely hope Chase doesn’t end up like that, pls pls pls I’m counting on you buddy. Don’t fuck it up *cue that one meme I know you guys are thinking abt* ]
Chase & Priya seems like such a popular ship. Ngl their dynamic interested me too-

Geogradient Shawl is complete! I slowed down a lot at the end, but I accidentally added two extra rows between dip rows on clue 4. Looks like it blocked out alright and I honestly don’t mind how it looks so I’ve decided to keep it. I’ll add fringe once it’s dry and call it complete!
Anyway, more thoughts about this project under the cut
SO!
The pattern is.. not my favourite from Westknits, but definitely not a bad one. The pattern itself was decently written but there was a discrepancy between clues 1 and 2 regarding which colours to use. I’m not too upset about that because of the shitshow that was clue 1 but I do hope it gets updated eventually. Subsequent clues were updated, but I mostly went by the pattern and didn’t check the ravelry group all that much so I ended up using less colour C and D in the design as a result. Another part of the pattern that irked me somewhat was the right handed language used. This is pretty standard for knitting patterns but idk I was hoping a big designer like Stephen West would at least be able to use more neutral language so as to not confuse me lol. The original clue 1 was especially confusing as I had to construct it in the opposite direction.
The first two clues were a bit boring tbh. Westknits MKAL patterns always seem to be full of wacky stitches and cool colour play but this one felt like a slog until I got to clue 3. Again, I blame the part 1 shitshow for this and I do understand that it’d be a huge pain to have to rewrite an entire part of your pattern in a few hours. I adore the Granny Square alternative clue 1 and honestly wish I had seen it before deciding what to do with mine but oh well lol. Overall, pattern is ok. I already have a triangular shawl so I was hoping the would be a different shape, so clue 4 was a pleasant surprise!
Now when I got up to the horizontal floats and dip stitches, I was a bit wary because while they look pretty, I feel like this shawl is going to catch on eeeeeveeything. I don’t know how much I’ll wear it, it might be a special occasion kinda shawl.
The yarn I used was too thin. The result was nice and airy with a good drape, but it does make the floats and dips a little less impactful than I’ve seen on other finished geogradients. I didn’t buy a kit from my lys but my lys was selling kits of this yarn. Otherwise the yarn is lovely and soft. I have about 150g leftover (not including the scraps I plan to turn into fringe) so I’ll have to think of something to do with them. I don’t think they’re going to play ball with my other fingering weight scraps. It was also a bitch to frog and would get fuzzy at the drop of a hat thanks to the alpaca content.
Overall I enjoyed this project though. Would I do another MKAL? Probably not. At least not for a while. I think I’d rather wait for the design to be released first. But who knows? I am a slave to my FOMO and there was a lot of that in my geogradient shawl.
Would I make this pattern again? Honestly? Yeah. I think I’d do it with a thicker fingering weight yarn and probably with a proper merino (or merino/nylon at the very least) I’d also do the granny square variant clue 1 and probably the optional mohair part in clue 2 as well. I was a little peeved that optional mohair wasn’t listed in the initial materials but apparently that a weird unwritten rule of an MKAL- Stephen is just happy to drop this info mid project and assumes that every knitter has an extensive stash of yarn they can pull from. Especially mohair, which isn’t something that’s regularly produced in Australia (except for one farm in QLD) so it’s all imported and all expensive.
It’s a pity, because the mohair dares I saw looked gorgeous.
Anyway, I’ll add the fringe once it’s dry and probably won’t touch it again for 6 months. That’s another lesson learned: all the trendy patterns on ravelry are seasonal for the northern hemisphere so it’s not worth keeping up with them.

20. How do they comfort each other when one of them is upset? Is this method of comfort effective?
TIFFANY & NICK: Both are fundamentally helpful people and so they try their hardest to comfort the other, and are pretty intuitive about what works best, honestly. Tiffany can ease stress with her healing abilities, but even if she's not actively healing, a cool hand on his forehead will do nicely. Nick acts as a calming presence, but he's good at getting her to talk, and helping her process exactly what she's feeling.
ATLAS & ALESSIA: Alessia's natural instinct is to touch people; depending on the stage of their relationship, Atlas' immediate response to that is to tense up further (he's not used to this). Eventually, he gets used to her and her touch does what it's supposed to (calm him down). When she's upset, he will embrace her, which she greatly appreciates.
ARABELLA & SILAS: These two have known each other for decades, and even though they've been apart for twenty-five years, they still know each other better than themselves. Silas knows that Arabella needs space; Arabella knows Silas needs a simple distraction, then a long drive with someone he can talk to.
21. Do they enjoy domestic life?
TIFFANY & NICK: Nick does. He wants a house. Tiffany has a wagon, which is pretty close; she doesn't want a full house though, at least not now.
ATLAS & ALESSIA: Both Atlas and Alessia are homebodies, so they both like being at home - that said, they aren't very domestic people (especially Alessia). But home is a sanctuary for both of them.
ARABELLA & SILAS: No, not really. Vampires tend to roam around. Silas' gang has a base of operations in Agave City, but they still roam around a lot; Arabella moves from motel to motel every few months.
22. Are they comfortable joking around with each other and being silly/playful?
TIFFANY & NICK: Once they open up to each other, yes. Tiffany doesn't mind a bit of playful ribbing, and Nick finds he's a pretty amicable, playful man (once he's not under the thumb of a strangling religious cult).
ATLAS & ALESSIA: Alessia tolerates some teasing, but not much. She is free, however, to tease as much as she likes. Atlas doesn't mind, but the double-standard is a little annoying.
ARABELLA & SILAS: Neither of them are all that playful to begin with, but neither one will bat an eye at a little joke to the other, as long as it's not a sore subject (which they would never).
23. What are the defining characteristics of their relationship?
TIFFANY & NICK: Service is the strongest - they are both people with a strong desire to help others. Both are self-sacrificing and devoted, both have a need to be understood by someone like them (so it's good they found each other). There's a big theme of like, initially seeming opposite (in personality, not goal) but through opposition realizing the core of the other person is similar, if not the same.
ATLAS & ALESSIA: Safety and comfort are their primary themes. Alessia has led a very exciting life before this, but now she's looking for someone more stable and calm to ground her; meanwhile, Atlas is (albeit unconsciously) seeking more excitement in his life. Both find what they're looking for in the other, and work to keep each other safe (more Atlas' game) and comfortable (more Alessia). This is also the first time either of them have been in a real romantic relationship, so there's an air of discovery too.
ARABELLA & SILAS: Forgiveness, 100%. Forgiving yourself, forgiving each other, and accepting the other's forgiveness - especially for Arabella, who made a big mistake in the past and can't accept that he's forgiven her. :lays down:
24. How do their personalities affect their relationship? Do their characteristics compliment each other, or clash often?
TIFFANY & NICK: They compliment and clash at the same time :) He's an Aquarius, she's a Leo, but they have each other's Suns as their Risings (so Leo Sun/Aquarius Rising for Tiff and Aquarius Sun/Leo Rising for Nick), meaning there is a deep understanding and also a polar opposition working in tandem. What results is a devoted relationship punctuated by philosophical arguments, but it's okay. They love each other.
ATLAS & ALESSIA: Alessia is the dominant force in the relationship - not to say that Atlas is a pushover, but he's pretty easy-going, so doesn't mind her pulling him along. They're both very stubborn, though, so if there was ever a large disagreement they'd butt heads. They don't disagree that fiercely very often though.
ARABELLA & SILAS: Overall they compliment each other; Silas is a very, very patient man, and Arabella needs that patience.
25. Do they share a room/house? If so, what does it look like and how does it compliment their personalities?
TIFFANY & NICK: Yeah! They live in a teeny wagon together - it's her wagon so it mostly reflects her. He'll add to it, though, and Tiffany is happy to let him.
ATLAS & ALESSIA: Atlas moved in with Alessia and so far he's really only made the kitchen his own; that and his rooftop garage, but the apartment itself? Very much Alessia's.
ARABELLA & SILAS: They do not, though Arabella moves into the vampire gang's motel about halfway through. She's very spartan, no memorabilia. Silas is more sentimental and has keepsakes in a room, but they don't share.
26. What sacrifices do they make for the other?
TIFFANY & NICK: If they had their druthers all they would do is sacrifice for the other, but one major aspect is Tiffany eventually getting used to the idea of "home and family" (which is Nick's great Need). It's something she has a hard time getting used to, but she'll do it for him.
ATLAS & ALESSIA: They make small adjustments all the time, but neither sees it as a sacrifice. I mean, okay, he is willing to take Darkness Power to keep her safe, but in the day-to-day, they just adjust to each other without much fuss.
ARABELLA & SILAS: Arabella is a very independent person, and Silas doesn't impede on that. I don't think he wants to, but he does want to make sure she's safe - but, he lets her have her own life, and never forces anything. That would be cruel.

2. before they met their party, what was their main goal?
Mairen - Initially, live a low-impact reality (thank you Taliesin for that phrase) in the woods; then, heal enough people to have fulfilled her godly duty or whatever as quickly as possible so she could go back to said woods.
Eos - When Ishi Mountain monks of age they travel around for a number of years to a) see the world, b) maybe meet a partner and bring folks back to the island to expand the population, and c) hunt down and take care of any escaped shadow creatures. Eos’s mom is a leader of their people and had a lot of adventures during her journey; Eos idolizes her. SO their main goal was to a) do some really cool shit like mom!!!!!!!! and b) that’s it.
7. which party member do they understand the least?
Mairen - They’ve been together for a while and she gets them both pretty well. Least intuitive to her are Ayin’s cheerful, casual, and optimistic bearing towards most danger and Nick’s attitude towards death. (He was sort of undead for the first ten levels? Archived UA rogue subclass called Revived. Now he’s not, but he spent a long time pretty sure he was at the end of his borrowed time and is pretty blasé, in Mairen’s opinion, about the chances of dying again.)
Eos - Definitely Ursula the (previously mentioned) Bloodthirsty Paladin. They used to think they understood her and now they find her ALARMINGLY erratic.
19. what haunts them? what doesn’t?
Mairen is haunted by the feeling that if one of her friends died and she couldn’t bring them back, that would be her fault.
Eos should really be haunted by the Deep Shit they’re in with the monks right now for having blabbed state secrets all over the place but they just got the HDYWTDT on a massive shadow creature that showed up at their tribunal so they’re feeling pretty good about things. Also, even before that, they were stubbornly ignoring the haunted feelings in favor of staunchly believing they’d done the right thing so it would be fine.
21. do they follow their head, their heart, or their body?
This is interesting. I think Mairen head, Eos heart, maybe?
30. what do they seek out from others?
Eos wants attention and admiration. They’re the kind of person who, every time they do something cool in combat, looks around to make sure that people (*especially our cleric Isla) saw it.
Mairen wants other people not to need anything from her because she doesn’t want to be obligated to anyone because she’s scared of what will happen if there’s bad shit and she can’t help. At this point we’re actively in the Saving The World portion of our campaign, though, and she’s been wrestling with the idea of fate and feels like maybe it absolves her of choice in a way she finds a little comforting… so I guess I would say at this point she wants for people to not ask her to make hard decisions.

Nona Identity Conspiracy Theory #5098372038
I haven’t seen anyone else make this joke(?) about who Nona is - I mean, it started as a joke, at least.
But consider: we can be fairly certain Nona is in Harrow’s body, and they’re apparently trying to figure out who she is (most likely between Gideon and Harrow, all things considered, and especially with the Ass Jokes Thing lol).
Four things to consider, now:
1. They seem to be thinking of this as a definitive “either/or”. The joke tally, etc., and some comments they make, seem to make this pretty clear.
2. Pal has somehow gone from living in a skull/hand to residing in Cam’s body. He also transferred his own soul into that skull, initially. Pyrrha also was independent enough of G1deon that since his death (?) she’s got the body - probably a Gideon-And-Harrow type situation, sans lobotomy. So this lil group has the ability to keep souls independent, and transfer them back and forth into bodies AND objects, and what that’s like/how it manifests.
3. Nona’s inner monologue mentions her childhood, which is particularly interesting:
“ Palamedes had soft cool eyes of brownish grey, like bare ground in the cold mornings when Nona had been little,”
4. We have those little bits of second person poking through, as some people have pointed out. What I’ve kinda noticed about those is the nature of them: almost instructional about how to behave/consequences of mistakes, or referential to essential information about who you can trust or what people are like, etc.:
“ Her fingers fumbled a little with the vest, but she was fine pulling on the UV sand shirt, even with arranging the cuffs, which could be complicated and if you got it wrong you had to stand in the bath to take it off again in showers of yellow dirt.”
“There was a baby wailing in morning-related outrage a few apartments away, so Nona walked on the balls of her feet to not add to the noise. The people underneath hated it if you walked loudly,”
“ She could not even make out a letter, not of any alphabet she’d ever been shown, which interested everyone except herself. But you could always trust Cam.”
“[P]eople noticed your hair growing less when it was already long, Camilla said. Camilla and Pyrrha both got to have short hair, which she envied. Cam’s was dark brown and bobbed off sharply at the chin and it felt nice against your cheek,”
“Coffee, Nona?” even though she always said, “No, but thank you”—Palamedes liked giving you options—and he even waited until she said, “No, but thank you” before he poured the boiling water twice.”
“In their absence Nona considered the eggs. They were a uniform yellow colour, with dusty black flecks of pepper. You were allowed to put as much thin, fiery red sauce on them as you liked,”
So where am I going with this? I’ll use the alphabet this time so I can refer to the numbers:
A. Gideon and Harrow’s souls were maybe all...wonky? post HtN. Muddled up enough that while they were separate, it was hard to tell the difference. We at least get The Pool Scene, and what seems to be Harrow’s perspective, but there are a couple oddities, which indicate some sort of ‘scramble’ here, maybe between Gideon and Harrow?:
“I like it. I like the water, I like her hands.”
“Her hands?”
“They’re the things around me—maybe they’re my hands.”
B. Anyway. So Camillades, or whatever spelling we’re all going with, maybe opted to Science It. Split ‘em up, and just figure out one. But do we have quite enough function from this one now that it’s been isolated? Proooooobably not. Homebrew lobotomy and all.
C. So we (Camillades) need a soul that functions as a living being, but is distinct enough from Harrow or Gideon. The more distinct, the better.
D. At this point, we cannot forget the summary:
“In many ways, Nona is like other people. She lives with her family, has a job at her local school, and loves walks on the beach and meeting new dogs. But Nona’s not like other people. Six months ago she woke up in a stranger’s body, and she’s afraid she might have to give it back.”
E. And another essential individual, who we have not seen in the preview, but we know about via the cover of the book, and the Dramatis Personae:
“Noodle, king of dogs in secret, white-adjacent, small sized, six legs”
F. At this point, you may see vaguely where I am going with this. Because here is the joke theory I propose:
G. Nona is Harrow and Noodle in Harrow’s body.
H. And Gideon is in Noodle.
I. Here’s my overall logic:
A dog’s soul would be pretty damn distinct from a human soul.
“Loves walks on the beach and meeting new dogs” sounds like...well, a dog.
A dog would need a few reminders on How To Human, and What Is Expected Of A Decent Human,
And providing those? VERY Harrow, I think? I don’t know that Gideon would give a fuck lol.
One of these is, apparently, putting on clothes properly. Specifically “arranging the cuffs”, which leads me to -
“The things around me” as a description of hands? Dogs don’t have hands, so maybe the description thereof got weird when being conveyed to Camilla. And it’d explain some of the weird issues with ‘arranging the cuffs’, although that’s stretching it a bit maybe, lol.
“She could not even make out a letter, not of any alphabet she’d ever been shown, which interested everyone except herself.” Dogs, of course, cannot read, but Pyrrha and Camillades would probably have expected that whoever’s Human Soul is in there would take over for that part?
Camilla’s hair “felt nice against your cheek” - other than some of the ‘Nona has a crush on Camilla’ vibes here, this would be a brand new sensation for a dog.
As for why a dog for this specifically? If you put Harrow in a dog’s body, that would be a VERY weird dog. Very distinct from how dogs usually are, and let’s be real here, this would be a nightmare scenario combination between a dog (loves bones) and an osseo (we do bones, motherfucker)
Gideon, however, would probably fit right in as a dog.
Nona is very attached to Noodle, it seems. King Of Dogs, and all that. Why? Maybe some undercurrent of the whole “I am undone without you” thing.
Noodle has 6 legs. Maybe some Bones were used to help transplant the soul. Or maybe the world is just fucked up and we wound up with a dog with 6 whole leggys. The latter is more likely, but the other dogs seem to be perfectly ordinary 4-leggy dogs.
Dog soul: would prioritize Dogs for birthday party invite.
YOU WILL LOVE NONA, AND NONA LOVES YOU. Doggo confirmed.
But also Harrow, because of latent memories. The Pool Scene - and the thing about soil “when Nona was little”.
And we can’t forget that Harrow was pretty little when all that Wild Shit happened with her parents, and she probably didn’t really go outside in the mornings much, anymore.
(Gideon did, though, if I remember correctly. Talking to the skeletons, wondering if any of them were her mom, etc etc., plus training, etc...I don’t think she would classify cold morning soil as a “when she was little” sort of thing.)
Anyway. Like I said, this started as a joke theory, and is still a joke theory, but like...I don’t even know anymore. I’m finishing this writeup during a combat session in one of my D&D games, because that’s where my life is at.
I will leave you with a requisite “Nona loves you” - regardless of who Nona turns out to be. And feel free to rip this apart, I love all the theories, I know I’ve forgotten stuff, etc etc.

A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
✨ Loves the idea of going for long rides with their S/O. He likes the idea of having you hugging him from behind, leaning your head on his shoulder.
✨ He also really enjoys going vinyl record shopping with you, and loves hanging around indie music stores debating what is the best underrated music with you. He also loves dancing with you to music, whether it be punk rock or something much slower.
B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?
✨ David really admires a partner who has a large imagination. He loves that your head is in the clouds and always coming up with interesting and unique ideas for activities or adventures.
✨ Visually David is really into S/O's who have shorter hair and love wearing leather jackets as much as he and his gang does. More on the punk side then any other side.
C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
✨ David has a bit of difficulty with emotions. His own and others. He's more likely to let you have space unless you purposefully want him to sit with you.
✨ He won't really know how to comfort you, but if you tell him how your feeling, he can be a pretty great listener.
✨ His initial reaction might be to assume someone has hurt you and he'll want revenge more then maybe even listening to you.
D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
✨ David is someone who thinks a lot about the future. He wants to be with his S/O forever. So he's going to want to turn you into a vampire at some point.
✨ He doesn't really believe in traditional marriage, but would be open to doing so if that's something you want.
✨ However, he will want to give you something which would represent your love, similar to a promise ring or a small piece of jewelry.
E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?
✨ David is a very dominant person. He likes to command conversations be in control (massive control freak).
✨ He would probably want to plan out most the dates and know all the details. So if your someone who doesn't mind what you do, he'll be happy because he loves having complete control on stuff like that.
✨ You'll have to have a conversation about boundaries and finding balance so that he isn't controlling everything. But if your in a deep enough relationship, he will be a lot more willing to work on that with you.
F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
✨ David is an asshole. That's just a part of who he is. So fighting with him is going to be a real pain.
✨ He can be manipulative when arguing with you and a little bit childish. He'll try to excuse his behavior or blame it on something/someone else before admitting fault.
✨ David also has the nasty habit of wanting to be right or "win" the argument, which can make things escalate from a small issue into a full-blown argument.
✨ The best way to deal with this, especially if the argument escalates is to either have a mediator (Dwayne) or take a break to let him, and you cool off.
✨ You'll have to work through these issues together if you want to stay with him, as David has a lot of toxic traits he's still working on.
G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?
✨ David may not always say "thank you" immediately, but he will once he realises he'd forgotten.
✨ He does so by hugging you close and whispering so in your ear, or by showing so through physical affection like cuddling or kisses.
H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
✨ David is a pretty closed book on stuff that's super personal to him, or would make him look bad/like an idiot. He has an ego and its pretty big.
✨ However, if you to have gotten very close he'll be more willing to open up and share his more personal failures, insecurities and past. This will take a while though.
I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?
✨ If you to are together long enough it is inevitable that you will learn something from being together and grow.
✨ David will probably learn from you to let his guard down more and be less of a control freak.
✨ He might even admit when he’s wrong and concede in certain arguments.
J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
✨ David is the pinnacle of the jealous boyfriend type.
✨ If anyone tries to flirt with you or even side-eyes you in a way he finds inappropriate, that person is bound to be another name on a milk carton.
✨He won’t ever blame you for his jealousy or get mad at you thinking your flirting back (unless you actually are), he’ll just deal with the offending person he thinks is flirting with you and get rid of the competition
K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
✨ David thinks he’s a great kisser and he really is most of the time. But he can get a bit carried away sometimes, so you’ll have to let him know when he does.
✨ Your first kiss was very electric, or that’s what you would describe it as. Very mixed with sexual tension and romantic tension.
✨ David is a perfectionist when it comes to romantic stuff, so he’s going to want to really set everything up for the perfect first kiss. Mostly likely on the Ferris wheel when your stopped at the top looking out over Santa Carla.
L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
✨After Michael and Star, David is going to be pretty wary of putting his heart on the line again
✨ He’s a hopeless romantic at heart even if he won’t admit it to anyone.
✨ Most likely you will have to be the one to confess any kind of love before he feels safe letting his feelings be known. However once you do he’ll put all his hidden emotions and feelings for you out in the open.
M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?
✨ Once again, David is not really interested in tradition or traditional marriage/wedding situation.
✨ However, he is the kind of ham to make a deeply romantic confession and ask you to stay with him forever (most likely in the form of turning you).
N icknames - What do they call their s/o?
✨ Doesn’t really do pet names or nicknames.
✨ If you consider a short form of your name (if it’s a longer name) to be a nickname then he’ll do that.
O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
✨ David is a very attached partner when he’s in love. It will be hard to get him to leave your side.
✨ He likes to make his love and affection known to all as a way to make sure that none of them even think of trying to steal you away. He’s been through that already and isn’t going to let it happen again.
✨ Likes to express his feelings in a physically affectionate way. He likes holding you close and stroking your hair. Gives a really good shoulder massage if you ask.
P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?
✨ David is pretty big on hand holding, romantic embraces and generally hanging off you/you hanging off him in public. He will also kiss you in public, but if he’s going to get hot and heavy it’s going to be in a less public or private setting.
✨ He doesn’t verbally brag about his physical relationship with you, but just having you close to him either holding you or having you on the back of his motorcycle feels like bragging and of itself to David.
Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
✨ As a result of being a leader he’s a pretty organized guy, so when you have a technical problem with needing to set up a party or complete a project he’s a really good partner to have as a helping hand.
R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?
✨ David is a pretty classic romantic. He likes to get you roses and take you out on long walks or rides on the beach.
✨ He likes doing things together that you enjoy and watching movies together.
✨ He can be a bit of a cliche at times, but that’s part of why you love him.
S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?
✨ David is pretty supportive, not a cheerleader but he’s there for you to help whenever you need an extra hand with your hobbies
✨ He gives some pretty good motivational pep talks which get you in the right headspace to do whatever creative, hobby or work related thing that is your passion.
T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?
✨ David is open to trying new things to spice up your relationship within certain boundaries.
✨ He’s a control freak still, so he’s going to want to try new things that don’t take away that sense of control. He won’t be doing any skydiving for instance.
U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
✨ David needs to work on being less of an egotist and more empathetic in some aspects. That being said, he does try to be empathetic.
✨ He wants to know his partner and be able to be a better guy for his S/O. There is just a lot of work to be done.
V alue - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?
✨ David throws his all into romantic relationships. To him your relationship is one of the most important things besides his little found family of the TLB group.
✨ He’d even go as far to say his relationship with you means more to him then feeding.

✨ Will sing to you when your just chilling relaxing. He likes when you smile at him as he softly sings a offtune punk rock song to you.
X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
✨ David loves a good cuddle or embrace. Just being close to you warms him up and makes him feel all fuzzy on the inside. Although I don’t think he’d want to say it out loud to anyone but you.
Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
✨ David is a lot like Spike from (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) when it come to expressing missing or loss of a partner.
✨ He’ll brood and wallow for a while and doesn’t like being apart from you at all. This is if you’ve either been separated for a long time or are on a break.
✨ If you’ve been separated for a short amount of time he’ll mostly be fine if not distracted wanting to know when he’ll see you next.
Z eal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
✨ The dark side of David is willing to do anything to keep you together, even if it means that some people have to go missing in order for that to happen.
✨ He’s also willing to work on his personal flaws as well if they become a big issue. Reigning in his ego and being more communicative are things which will take some time but he’s willing to work on if it means you two can stay together.

CW UNDER THE CUT: Implied Verbal Abuse

Trying to get you to open up was like trying to penetrate Fort Knox.
Kuroo desperately tried to though.
The day you came into Chemistry, and practically melted onto the lab table beneath the two of you, gave him his initial thought.
‘Something is clearly wrong’
“Hey (Y/N) what’s-“
He peered into your opened planner that was placed your messily thrown belongings.
His breath hitched when he saw the lists upon lists of bulleted assignments and tests you had to worry about.
Kuroo sighed fondly however upon noticing the a doodle of a dog in a Christmas hat.
“Hey” he whispered as the students continued to file in.
“Mm?”
“Will you take notes for me today, (Y/N)? That way, I can work on this.” He finished by grabbing your planner, folder of papers, and a bulky math packet that you were yet to start on.
“Oh? An honor code violation? For widdle ol’ me?”
“Hey nothing’s illegal till you get caught. But please. Let me help you out, you have so much on your plate. I’d be ready to explode at this point.”
“That’s a negative, ghost rider. You gotta focus on class, boss man.”
He chuckled slightly at your witty remark and took out his calculator.
“I don’t have a choice do I?”
“Nope!” He cooed with a beaming smile, glancing at the math packet, “You know how I like my notes, highlights and colors, if you would.”
You released a breath of air in amusement, silently thanking whatever deity was up there (if you atheist idk who you thank LMAO).
After chem, you made your way to a bench in a more lesser known area of the school, ready to make an attempt to study for your tests.
What was supposed to be a relaxing time turned into something awful.
You glanced down to look at your phone to see a deluge of texts and missed calls from your mother.
As it turns out, your teachers had called your mom to tell her about all of your missing assignments and that you were “choosing to not pay attention in class”
The words you read from her were words that a mother should never say to her baby. You were so frustrated that she didn’t believe you, and now your teachers don’t even either.
Thank goodness you were in a secluded area, or else everyone would’ve seen you throw your head in your hands and sob.
But... best friends always seem to know where you are and Kuroo found you. He didn’t even hesitate, dropping his schoolbooks to the floor and wrapping you tightly in his arms.
“You’re okay, love-bug. You’re safe. It’s just me. I’m here for you.” He whispered as he rocked you back in forth in his arms. “Everything is going to be okay, love.”
“I- K-Kuroo- shit I cant-“
“What’s going on? Please tell me.”
“N-no I- I c-can’t. d-don’ wan’ b-bother you.”
“(Y/N) you have to let me help you.” He sounded desperate, as if almost on the verge of tears himself.
“I-“ you sighed through your staggering breath, “J-jus need a m-minute.”
When you’ve cooled off enough to speak, you still found yourself quaking in his grip. Apologizing profusely, you attempt to squirm out of it.
“Hey. Don’t worry about it, take whatever time you need.” He laces his fingers in between your own and squeezes firmly. “I’m here and whatever you need I’ll get it for you.”
“Heh...” you mumble “I need all of my homework and essays to automatically be done so I can focus on studying.”
Kuroo’s eyes sparkled as he smiled brightly “Wait here for me, yeah?” He squeezes your hand and went to his hastily discarded schoolbooks, picking up familiar items...
Your folder and planner.
When he hands them to you, you glance down and become overwhelmed with joy. You immediately set them aside as you wrap your arms around his neck, beginning to cry again.
What had happened?
The numerous assignments had been scratched off down to two, and each empty packet and assignment had the solutions paper clipped to them, so you could fill them in with your own handwriting.
You remembered how Kuroo made you vow to tell him when you need help. You knew he would never be upset to assist you. You just always felt it to be so burdening that you chose not to.
Maybe this time helped to open your eyes.

Only thing I know about X Men Evolution is that Wolverine's costume has tasteful sideboob lol. tbh I didn't know anything about X-Men until 2020, when I was in a fandom discussion and someone mentioned Magneto and Charles Xavier and I had no clue who they were talking about. Then my best friend (she and her fiance love X-Men, especially Wolverine) convinced me to watch the 90s X-Men cartoon

I can’t speak to the 90s xmen stuff because my taste in animated shows is like. specifically that early 2000s era, with xmen evo and the animated justice league (unlimited) cartoons etc etc but the reason I love scott in evolution is because a) he’s a fucking dork. just a complete and total nerd who manages to say the weirdest shit imaginable with a straight face (I’m not sure if you’ve seen the “THEN TAKE IT RAW” scene but I’ve rb’d it several times on this blog so I encourage you to take a look if you haven’t already), b) hes very morally uptight but that doesnt always mean he agrees with his teammates (specifically there’s this scene where they’re doing a virtual training sequence and they programmed rogue to be the villain and he was Not Cool With It, even though at this specific time she was technically ‘The Bad Guy’) and seeing the contrast between what he thinks is Good or Right vs what Xavier and the others think is okay was really interesting, c) his relationships with the others? *chefs kiss* perfect. he’s a big brother in this show (can’t remember if he was older or younger than Alex in the movies or any other versions) and even though he believes Alex is dead for a good while in this show you can still tell he’s used to being a big bro cause he acts like it, especially w Kurt and kitty. It’s kinda sad to think about sometimes, yknow, that he had to grow up fast bc he lost his entire family at 10 yrs old so he’s Major Serious now but the younger members tend to bring out the kid in him and those moments have a special place in my heart. He’s incredibly loyal to the people he cares about and while it’s not always warranted & kind of stupid sometimes (cough cough, letting Alex convince him to trust magneto that one time, cough cough) it’s an admirable trait and it works in his favour a lot of the time, specifically when the xmen are trying to win over rogue (even though sometimes he tends to bulldoze over others in an effort to save his friends, regardless of whether or not they need it, he’s not an amazing listener at first but that changes with time lol), and d) it’s so much less annoying because he’s a teenager. the whole premise of this show is basically just the xmen but as kids except for Xavier, Storm & Wolverine, so all the stupid and/or annoying shit he does can be chalked up to him just being a dumbass kid. And it’s not as if he doesn’t learn from his mistakes or admit his faults because he does! He’s definitely bullheaded and he fucks up but he’s usually pretty good at admitting fault and moving on from it, which I was veryyyy relieved by. Like specifically his relationship with Rogue & Lance Alvers from the Brotherhood of Evil (yes that’s the actual name, I know it’s a ridiculously over-the-top, looney toons-esque kind of crazy, I still love it) is really interesting because you get the impression that Scott’s very set in this idea that people are (mostly) incapable of changing and so he’s very skeptical when Lance tries to initiate this whole courtship with Kitty, but when there’s inevitably a team up with the xmen and the brotherhood of dramatic names it ends with a sense of mutual respect from both scott and Lance… at least for that episode. With rogue it’s a bit different bc she’s not like looking to do harm, which scott recognizes (and I think he sees a bit of himself in her bc rogue is so lost when we’re first introduce to her and I can only imagine how he felt after losing his family & discovering he can shoot uncontrollable lasers from his eyes in the span of 24 hours) butttttt this is way too long already so I digress lol.
Again, don’t know much about the 90s cartoons but evo scott summers is wonderful, I loved the show when I was a kid and I still like it a lot even now :)

Pran came clean to them after a couple of years, when he felt secure enough that it wouldn’t ruin the relationship. The Kings were a little embarrassed, the dad more than the mom, but they’re quite good at brushing past those kind of mistakes so it was all water under the bridge pretty fast.
hi! i know you’ve answered a question about alterations in the our life moments by playing them in different orders, but i was wondering if there was a canon order that the moments for each step happen in? i figure with such a customizable game the “canon” timeline for the moments is whatever order the player completes them in, for example in step 1, i like playing the runaway moment pretty early, since cove trying to run away early in summer makes more sense to me personally. thanks!
Yeah, there’s no canon order we’d insist on. Whatever you like can be the official route for you! And that’s a neat way to look at that event.
What if your character isn’t that into physical contact but still wants to be in a relationship with Cove? Would he be offended if you shy away or something along those lines?
He wouldn’t be. Cove knows how hard that can be and is very understanding. If you set his initiative to low, the game always checks to make sure if you want to be touched or not rather than assuming that you do. And if you do choose that you don’t want to, there’s no stress or drama about it. Cove will just say that’s okay!

I’m afraid not. That’d be unfair to those who get it on Steam. Plus, Steam isn’t super cool with giving out thousands of keys to be handed out for free on other sites anymore. They can refuse to give us the keys if they feel we’re trying to take advantage of their system.

You can confess to him, yeah. But Cove won’t ever try confessing again if the MC turns him down in Step 3.

You can’t do what Lizzie or Baxter does to make Cove dislike them. You can play the game and try, but it doesn’t work out. The MC is just too compatible with Cove if you’re fond/crush/love, haha.

The Derek DLC adds events in Step 2 and Step 4. It’s part of his story that you don’t really get to be around him in Step 3. But you don’t need to apologize for wondering!
hello! i'd like to ask if it's possible to play the android version of the game with the dlcs after buying the dlcs from steam. i wasn't expecting my android version to have my dlcs since i bought them from steam, but it had my step 2 dlc for some reason. is this a glitch or does the apk actually detect what dlcs you already have on your pc? if so, how come i don't have the step 1 dlc appearing on android? thanks!
That is some kind of glitch. It isn’t possible for the Android DLCs to be unlocked by having them on PC. Maybe in one of the old builds we accidentally didn’t lock the Step 2 DLC properly. Sorry for the confusion!

That’s a really sweet thought to have. Cliff stays single, but he’s graysexual and not-particularly romantically inclined. He only dated when he was really young ‘cause that’s what everyone did. Family and friend relationships are more important to him, and he has plenty of that in his life ^^.

They’d definitely have a lot of friction growing up and they’d likely avoid each other as much as possible. Once they were both older, I imagine they’d be decent neighbor acquaintances. But they still wouldn’t be nearly as close as they are with the MC bringing Cove into things.
What do the customizable eyes look like in the game? Do they look as they are in the creating avatar section? Or do they look different when actually playing the game?
That’s up to you! The doll is just meant to be a general idea. You can apply it to your imagined MC as much or as little as you prefer.

The church is treated as a historic building rather than anything actively religious, but it’s not the only option like that. There’s a historic synagogue and stuff too! And that’s really nice of you to say <3.

They wouldn’t have been happy and would’ve been far more skeptical of Cliff, aha. But they wouldn’t want to keep Cove away from the MC, so it wouldn’t have been too different in the long run.

Hello,I recently started playing lake of voices (I put it off for a long while since I’m usually not very good with horror) and I’m really happy I did!I’m a big fan of your games in general and lake of voices was absolutely great as well.I loved the characters and the dark setting of it,I adored the beautiful art and music and the story was great too,sometimes unsettling and sometimes very sweet.My favorite Route in the game was definitely Lu,I liked his character and was really shocked and distraught by his Route at least two times.I didn’t see the plot twist(s) coming at all!

DATING EXO HEADCANON A⇴Z ⇴ Byun Baekhyun
A ⇴ AFFECTION
Cuddles are very important to Baekhyun, whilst he might try to play things cool a lot of the time, behind closed doors, he finds hugs very reassuring and comforting in amongst the chaos that his lifestyle brings.
B ⇴ BEFORE DATING
The two of you had met through a mutual friend, and instantly gravitated towards each other. His bright personality caught your attention quickly, Baekhyun made you feel safe and comfortable whenever he was around. He also loved having your company and talked to you a lot about anything that came to mind.
C ⇴ CONFESSION
Baekhyun was terrified to confess his feelings to you, he didn’t want to frighten you off or read the wrong signals. With Minseok’s backing especially, he was encouraged into confessing to you one night when you were visiting. You were able to tell straight away that something wasn’t quite right, pushing Baekhyun until he told you what it was. As soon as he did, you were there to assure him he’d read your signals perfectly.
D ⇴ DATES
He’s another member who often prefers to be at home rather than going out. Dates out of his apartment are rare, but Baekhyun will make sure that they’re special. Instead, he’ll try and arrange plenty of fun things for the two of you to do at his place. They tend to involve games and food, occasions where the two of you can just kick back and relax and be yourselves. Baekhyun is big on special occasions though, anniversaries and birthdays always have to be celebrated by doing something neither of you will forget.
E ⇴ EXPERIENCE
It’s well known that Baekhyun has been in a relationship before, he knows the mistakes he made and is determined not to make the same mistakes with you. He’s nervous to begin with, taking the step back into a relationship is huge, but with your reassurance, he knows it’s what he wants and the right thing to do. It takes a while for Baekhyun to open up publicly about your relationship as he doesn’t want to hurt you, but once he gets the backing of the fans, he’s more than happy to tell them all about you and brag endlessly.
F ⇴ FIGHTING
One of the biggest bonuses of dating Baekhyun is his ability to read a room. If things begin to turn sour between the two of you, he can tell instantly, and will quickly put a stop to whatever it is that is causing the tension. At times it frustrates you how good he is at stopping an argument from happening, but you’re also well aware how much better it is for you both not to start shouting at each other. He will sit and talk through a problem rather than shout, but again, if he senses things are not going well, then he’ll give you a bit of space before trying again when the two of you can talk a bit more easily with each other.
G ⇴ GETTING TO KNOW HIS FAMILY
You heard many stories about his family when you started dating, so you were very excited to mee them, as they were with you. Baekhyun was stunned at how well you all got along, somehow, he ended up being the one pushed aside so that his family could find out as much as they possibly could about you.
H ⇴ HOME
As much as he loved having his own place, he definitely missed the company. Baekhyun was worried about moving you in as he was very tidy and neat. Days slowly turned into weeks when it came to easing you into living with him, before eventually those weeks turned into a permanent fixture of you living with him.
I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”
You were actually the first to say ‘I love you’ when you noticed Baekhyun having a difficult day. He was unusually quiet, and you were struggling to know what to do to make him feel better, so you decided to open up your heart and tell him how you felt. Best of all, doing that, certainly put the smile back on his face.
J ⇴ JEALOUSY
Baekhyun tended to get jealous quite often if someone else had your attention. He would be able to tell pretty quickly when someone was trying to get close to you or push him out of the equation, quickly putting a stop to it. He’d often be able to tell before you even noticed, so he’d grab your hand and pull you out of the situation. He was a very good judge of character and would be able to warn you about what was going on before you’d even clicked, which was a trait of his that you were very grateful for indeed.
K ⇴ KIDS
He was still very much a big kid at heart, he loved messing around and joking with you. Baekhyun couldn’t wait for the day when he had little ones to entertain and play with. You knew he would make a great dad one day too, it was just about finding the right time. When Baekhyun began talking about kids, it was difficult to get him to stop, he’d often lose himself in deep thought and talk about all his dreams.
L ⇴ LAUGHTER
His playful nature meant you were often laughing around Baekhyun. He loved to try and make you laugh and mess around with you. Tickle attacks were very common from him, if you were having a bad day, the moment he could grab onto your hips he’d attack them. He loved to prank you too, he’d often set traps around the house to catch you out, collapsing to the floor every time one paid off and you began chasing him around the house, promising that one day you’d eventually get payback for all that he did.
M ⇴ MISSING
He’d try hard to not make you worry when he was away and not show you that he missed you, but it was hard on him. At nights, he’d sit for hours with you on the phone and offload about all his worries, and you’d sit and listen. If time zones stopped him from talking to you, he’d turn to one of his members for a shoulder of support whilst he tried to get in contact with you. If the mood between you both got down, he’d quickly try and tell a joke to pick things up again, he hated seeing you struggle with him being away, even though he struggled himself, he’d try hard not to show that side of himself to you, and only allow you to see him smile.
N ⇴ NICKNAMES
Baekhyun loved to call you ‘jagi’ it was a word you heard many times throughout the day, at the start of texts, when he wanted your attention, he’d call it out all of the time so that he was able to find where you were.
O ⇴ OBSESSION
Your laughter was what Baekhyun was most obsessed with. He loved to know that you were happy and enjoying yourself, if you weren’t laughing, he wouldn’t stop until you were.
P ⇴ PDA
He tended to get a bit shy when it came to affection in public, he’d usually hold your hand or the small of your back, but that would usually be it. It was the same in interviews too, he’d answer questions about you, but would never gush about you too much out of fear of doing or saying the wrong thing in response.

Anything that came to mind, Baekhyun would ask you about. He loved to talk about the most random things with you, just to initiate a bit of conversation. It would drive you crazy sometimes the random things that he came out with.

For special occasions, Baekhyun loves to write songs for you. They’ll never be released, as he loves to keep them between the two of you. He’ll spend hours sat at his piano trying to come up with the perfect song just for you. He’ll always turn red as soon as he shows them to you, his cheeks will be bright red throughout the whole song, but when it’s done, you’ll definitely show him how appreciative you are of it.
S ⇴ SEX
He’s a mess during intimate moments, whilst he loves being close and affectionate with you, it also makes him super shy. He likes to dominate, but it often ends with you being a little more of the dominate one as Baekhyun hides his flushed cheeks in the crook of your neck. Afterwards, he’ll let you know exactly how he feels once the butterflies have disappeared and he can go back to being his usual self.

Baekhyun isn’t a big fan of a text, he much prefers to call you and hear the sound of your voice. If he texts, it will usually be something quick and unimportant, he doesn’t worry too much about you responding quickly either.

I have noticed some particular rhetorical patterns in the recent Tumblr drama, so I made an FAQ because I’m salty.
Q: There is an Elite and Popular group of OC Creators who always reblog each other’s content and interact with each other. This is exclusive and cliquey.
A: What you are describing is people who are friends. Do not be alarmed: this is normal! And the great thing is that you too can have friends if you interact with people instead of insulting them behind anon. You can even be friends with Elite and Popular people. I’m not exactly sure that I’m Elite—I have been accused of being both Elite and a Groupie (an Elite Groupie?), so who the fuck knows—but you can message me if you want to chat and be friends. Current saltiness aside, I’m actually pretty nice when you’re not anonymously accusing me of being a witch or whatever. I have found this to be true for pretty much every person who has been accused of being Elite.
Q: Certain creators are always hogging the spotlight.
A: I mean this sincerely: what spotlight? This is a social media site. There are a lot of conversations happening simultaneously—that’s how it’s supposed to work. If I reblog a post, it doesn’t take away anything from your post and you reblogging another post doesn’t take away from my post. If Tumblr could only focus on one thing at a time, there would be no Tumblr. It’s not a zero sum game.
Q: Someone made a graphic for another creator. This is suspicious.
A: You are describing someone being nice. This is a good thing.
Q: There is a Discord server that is highly Exclusive and Elite.
A: I just joined that Discord. Here was my experience of that process:
I asked @materialkii if I could join because I thought it sounded fun.

This entire process took about 5 minutes from start to finish.
Q: Some people were nice to a person who got a bunch of really ugly reviews. They don’t deserve your sympathy and you are a fool for being nice to them.
A: Okay, let’s unpack a few things. One, if people want to be nice to someone, they do not actually have to clear it with you. Two: literally, what impact does this have on you and your life? You’re hiding on anon. Three, people can see the reviews that were left on this user’s account and make their own judgments about whether this person deserves sympathy. They can also make their own judgments about whether the so called “constructive criticism” was in fact constructive (spoiler: I saw the reviews. They were not constructive). Four, you have made it abundantly clear that you have no respect for the people you are attacking, so why do you care so much about who they are nice to?
Q: The OC community is cliquey and has problems.
A: I don’t know that I can take this argument seriously when it is coming from someone on anon who:
A) has yet to offer literally any solution other than “people should only post, write, and interact in ways that I, an anonymous user who cannot be contacted, personally approve of.” That’s not a solution, that’s a temper tantrum.
B) does not seem to recognize concepts such as friendship or being nice.
C) repeatedly attacks or demeans community building and positive initiatives led by people like @ocfairygodmother as “charity.”
D) has not, to my knowledge, made any effort to interact with the people they accuse of being exclusive.
Q: I did not personally say [statement], that was a different anon.
A: Literally, how the fuck is anyone supposed to tell you all apart if you stay on anon.
Q: There are actually many of us who feel this way.
A: Please see the previous answer.
Q: People have been rude responding to my anonymous asks.
A: That’ll happen when you send multiple anonymous messages insulting people and their friends or going after their followers. Have you tried being nice? Have you tried not hiding behind anon? What efforts have you made to participate respectfully in this conversation like a grownup?
Also, I can only speak for myself, but the longer this goes on, the less tolerance I have for bullshit. I was pretty restrained in the beginning, but my patience has worn thin.
Q: The Darkling is toxic and people are promoting toxicity by writing romances about him, what if young girls read this and think this is normal?
A: You are not responsible for curating someone else’s internet experience, especially if that person is hypothetical.

SFW Alphabet-Hiei
Word Count: 2125
A/N: Warning in advance, i’m in a fluffy mood and I want there to be more yyh fanfics so i’ll be writing some for the next few days. I’ll try and sprinkle in some other content but for now, it is what it is. Also I changed some of the prompt options so there’s that. Also I’m going to be posting content for more obscure/dead/forgotten fandoms in general so if you have any ideas lmk!
A: Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Hiei isn’t super affectionate in the traditional sense. Like if you want a boyfriend who’ll hold your hand and kiss your cheek and what not, Hiei is not that person at all. His affection is moreso bickering, especially in public, he’ll act like you’re such a nuisance but like he’s still looking out for you. In private, he’s a bit more affectionate. He really does trust you with his life, he’s just a little emotionally repressed so he shows his affection by sleeping and truly relaxing around you. In his most vulnerable moments, he’ll lay his head in your lap and let you rub his hair while he falls asleep.
B: Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
The closest thing we see to Hiei having a best friend is Kurama and maybe Yusuke. As a best friend Hiei is very blunt, he shows his care for you by being upfront, it can honestly come off as a little callous but if you know him well (which you should as his best friend) you know that he means well, he just wants to protect his pride while still showing he cares about you. Your friendship probably starts after one of you saves the other.
C: Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Hiei likes cuddles but he absolutely refuses to ask for them. He doesn’t like to be too close at first and will initially only hold your hand when he knows for sure that you’re asleep. Eventually though, he gets more comfortable with you and your relationship and allows you to hold him even when you’re awake.
D: Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Hiei and domestic don’t really go together in the same sentence. His version of domesticity is protecting each other and then coming home and being near each other. He doesn’t want to settle down in the traditional “human” sense but he does like the idea of having somewhere permanent to come back to with you. He isn’t the best at cooking but he will try his best to help clean, he often uses his speed to get them done faster, all the while teasing you at how slow you’re going. Like okay buddy, you’re doing what I want anyways so who’s really losing?
E: Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
If you and Hiei ever broke up, he’d be silently devastated. It took a lot out of him to open up to you and the fact that you were able to leave that (at least for him) is devastating. If Hiei ever does get with another person, it’ll be long after you’ve both broken up and moved on.
F: Fiance(e) (How would they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Hiei has sort of already made a commitment to you by the time you’ve even entered your relationship, regardless of how long you’ve known each other, he entered the relationship because of how deep his connection with you is. He wouldn’t want to/care to get married by “human” standards, in his mind you’re already married/mated. Plus he couldn’t legally marry you because of the fact that he doesn’t have any governmental documentation.
G: Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
Hiei isn’t emotionally gentle at all at least outwardly. He’s very grumpy to protect his pride and image but he’s secretly a big ol softie. He always keeps track of you with his Jagan and if you’re ever in danger, Hiei is never far. When it comes to your emotional needs, he tries his best, he usually just positions himself in the best spot to be there should you need anything from him.
H: Hugs( Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?
Hiei during the course of his relationship with you tries to become more and more affectionate with you, becoming more and more open with giving and receiving it. He ofc isn’t into PDA at all but he will reciprocate your hugs if you give. At the beginning of your relationship he just stands there awkwardly but later on in your relationship he’ll wrap his arms around you and awkwardly start to pat your back. His hugs are pretty awkward but the fact that he even lets you hold him means more than his awkwardness with affection.
I: I love you (How fast do they say the L-word)
Hiei thinks that the fact he “puts up with you” is evidence enough and that he shouldn’t have to say it. He maintains that until one day you just break and tell him you love him and would like to hear him say it back, he just blushes and turns mumbling out a rushed, ‘I love you too.’
J: Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous)
He gets jealous and also not jealous if that makes sense. Like he knows that no other could ever measure up to him and as such isn’t threatened by anyone even if they are flirting with you. But other times he sees you smiling with some stranger or laughing at a joke your co worker said and he wonders if maybe you’d be happier with someone better than him.
K: Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
Hiei’s kisses are rough and warm and passionate. He gives you kisses usually to just straight up fluster you, he loves the dreamy expression you get and the little wobble in your knees when he kisses with you and it fills him with a sense of pride to elicit such a reaction from you.
L: Little ones (How are they around children)
Oh goodness. Please do not let Hiei loose around children unsupervised. He will just stare at them and watch as they get into whatever mischief they want and just still be staring at them. He’ll only intervene if they bother him or are in life-threatening danger.
M: Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
In the rare mornings that Hiei hasn’t completely disappeared after waking up earlier than you, he likes to just look at you. It’s a little odd but he likes to just bask in your presence, he enjoys being with you and it’s the second softest you’ll see him throughout the day.
N: Night (How are nights spent with them?)
Nights with Hiei are incredibly tender, you spend the night in each others arms and you’ll want for naught in terms of warmth. As a fire demon, Hiei tends to give off a lot more heat than most so if you get cold at night he’ll just move closer to you and let you put your cold hands and feet on him.
O: Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
Hiei is a incredibly private and mysterious person. He reveals things about himself very slowly, most things are unsaid, revealed through his actions and reactions.
P: Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Hiei is somewhat brash, impulsive, and grumpy which can lead to fights between the two of you. Given the fact that he is not at all patient, fights can get heated rather quickly. However, Hiei is also able to tell when he’s getting too worked up so he often ends up leaving mid-fight to walk away and cool down .
Q: Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He remembers the smallest things about you like the way you prefer to part your hair but fails at remembering things like your anniversary. Although, he is a telepath so in that aspect, he’s lucky. No, he doesn’t read your mind, he respects your privacy too much to do that, Botan on the other hand...
R: Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
His favorite moments in your relationship both occurred during the Dark Tournament:
1) Was when he passed out from using his Dark Dragon technique and woke up to see you asleep at his bedside. The fact that you were there for him and stood by his side at his most vulnerable it... it meant a lot.
2) Was when you all exited the stadium and in all your excitement you kissed him yelling “You guys did it!”, he was very much embarrassed afterwards but even now just thinking about how happy you were brings a smile to his face.
S: Security (How protective are they? How would they like to be protected?)
Hiei loves to play the role of a silent protector, please let him lol. Even if you can see or sense him, pretend you can’t for his sake, it makes him feel cool. As for how he likes to be protected, he fully expects you to be reliant on him for protection if you’re a non-fighter, and he’s ok w that but if you like protect him from someone who’s trying to attack from behind, he might just admit he’s in L-word with you.
T: Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Hiei admittedly doesn’t put effort into dates or anniversaries. It’s one of the biggest challenges in your relationship, how he’d rather keep his pride than make an effort to be with you. You end up planning most dates as Hiei is perfectly content for you both to just stare off into space in the middle of the countryside. He will go along with whatever plans you have though, and he’ll steal you anything you want. In fact, the only thing Hiei’s actually bought you was a sword, you assume it was very expensive based on the sheer quality and amount of detail but he never says where he got it from.
U: Ugly (What are some bad habits of theirs?)
A bad habit that Hiei has are his aforementioned pride. The man is stubborn and will maintain said stubbornness until proved wrong beyond deniability, at which point he’ll avert his eyes and apologize. Another bad habit he has is that he won’t tell you if he’s struggling until he’s in so much shit that not telling you would be a matter of life or death. Like he’ll be dictating his will to you randomly one day while you’re just mindin your business, it’s terrible. His pride and secretive nature tend to be the cause of your most serious disagreements.
V: Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
He’s not concerned with his looks beyond the bare minimum. Hiei never really tries with his look whether it’s his clothes or general attitude/way he presents himself. He does keep clean of course, but in terms of fashion... he’ll wear whatever he’s got until it’s nothing more than rags.
W: Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Hiei never feels incomplete without you, he’s much too independent and self-reliant to ever feel incomplete because of one person even if that is you. However, he does feel different, considering the fact that you are 90% of his impulse control and kindness, he does find himself getting irritated and acting much more brashly whenever you aren’t around.
X: (E)xes (Any previous relationship experience. How does that factor into your current relationship?)
You are quite literally the only relationship he’s ever been in, coincidentally you are also one of four people he can consistently tolerate.
Y: Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner)
Hiei gets a bad taste in his mouth at people who lack honor and integrity. He thinks that above all, whether you live or die, you should do so with honor. As such, he dislikes traitors or sycophants or the like, he doesn’t care if you’re an ass, as long as you’re honest about it.
Z: Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)
Hiei in general doesn’t sleep regularly and when he does it isn’t really good, restful sleep. Maybe very once in a while, he’ll get a decent night’s rest with you but overall, the man sleeps when his body forces him to.Also like to think that he can sleep with his eyes open, or at least with his Jagan open if he isn’t completely depleted of energy.
