Suffering for Art

I’ve never been one to believe in suffering for my art. Not that “my art” is actually art — it’s more in the line of pretty photos I’ve taken to memorialize some flowers I’ve grown. And if art isn’t worth suffering for, then pretty photos — no matter how attractive — definitely are not worth suffering for. Actually, there wasn’t much pain or suffering involved, and it was a silly thing anyway…

#twisted wonderland #twst #treyjade #trey clover #jade leech #80% this is trey jade to me #the peaceful vibe between them #i enjoy it very much #but of course i too enjoy very much when jade turns stupid fshdh #the balance of those both sides are the best #yea i come back again no surprises here #i still need to study for that test #since coming to this different country i too take photo of this and that flower and leaf that reminds me of something else #like flowers that looks like cluster of bean sprouts #green pods that looks like sleeping pod for fairies #flowers with paper like petals that makes crinkly sound when u touch them #those kind of stuff #i also took photo of dried leaf and flowers that seem to make shape of an animal #i think trey even suspicious trey would trust jade at this moment #because he speaks of the things he was fond of with much sincerity from his heart #trey could be using this chance to analyze jade and gets to his good side in case he needs it later #but whatever his reason at that moment it brings both of them closer together in the end #and i thank him for that #floyd leech

#it's obvious who's is who's since they match their outfits HOWEVER.. consider if they were switched lol #evil villain looking man carrying around pressed flowers in a cutesy lacy pouch #fantasy costume #what's in my bag #actualyl that would have been funny to make a video. I should make a video #I'm sure someone else has already done this #but like.. lifestyle vlogger type content however I'm dressed in fully costume as some weird elf or something #pulling things out of my bag and showing them to the camera and talking about how they're useful for whatever #but it's all fantasy scenarios and talking like it's very common #'and of course. i know it's a bit cliche #EVERY traveler has one of these. but you know. theyre just useful! thats why everyone has one!' *pulls out a completely unrecognizable item #thats like some weird fantasy world prop and doesn't even explain it because In-world it's normal and wouldnt need to be talked about*#'room tour' video and it's just like 'yeah I sleep on this mat under a bunch of trees uh.. over here by these rocks. at least right now. I #kind of wander around a bit. so'#Like a clothing haul but it's a potions shop haul or something and they ramble about some obscure drama in the potions community and how the #y hard to barter and steal and entire flock of sheep or something just to get one of them. etc. etc.#I could do ones for different characters too like. multiple people from different walks of life showing what they carry around with them.#just like this but more interview sort of vlog format instead of photos #This is where not having much money and not having my own house with land becomes an issue though #I think it would take you out of the illusion if the background was always the same. I can make small sets because there's one blank wall in #a room that it's easy to move all the stuff away from in front of and clear a spot and like hang up fabrics or whatever but still.. hmms #So one of those 'fun idea but dubious about handling the execution' things. also One Of Those Things where without looking it up you're 100%#sure it's already been done and you don't want to look weird since it's vaguely niche. Like if 100 people have done something it's fine but #if only like 3 other people have then you look weird maybe ghhjbj.. or only one other person gods forbid. looks even weirder potentially #Or do people not care about ''copying'' anymore?? idk. I'm not updated with the internet's changing culture. I just have a fear of accidenta #lly doing something like that and then people getting mad even though it's really just that I competely had no idea it had been done because #again.. I live under a rock and am unaware of everything lol. ANYWAY. also would require my face being on video which I don't like. Though I #would be in costume so that helps. I think to be fully comfortable I'd need light modifications to make my face look different. which isn't #hard but is more effort when it has to be translatable in multiple angles. ANYWAY. ghjbhj... Now I think it would be funny actually. maybe #one day. I haven't made any videos (aside from on the gameplay/sims channel) in a long long time actually. hmm'st

Whew look at you go! Had a small problem with aphids a lil while back, but after a whole lot of diligence they were banished. Still have some of the damaged leaves visible but look at all the healthy new growth!

You may be trying to take over my desk, but I couldn’t ask for a better art companion. The moss in the planter is happy with the frequent watering and shade, but the impatiens is trying to devoir the terrarium moss now too

My oxalis is thriving still, too. But it has its own space above me and isn’t trying to reach out and say hello as much.

Okay, this has been your semi annual habitat update. Back to painting.

#photos #plants #witchy vibes #skulls #rats need hobbies too #gonna plant some violets soon since it’s time #wish my impatiens bby didn’t still have some visible damage signs but i’m overjoyed at all the healthy new growth #more blooms moooore #“Why do you have a whole ass impatiens as a house plant. on your desk no less”#well you see #it's because it started as a grass and moss planter and every single plant from my housemate's parents yard decided to hitchhike #and somehow in all of that a wayward impatiens sprouted #I feel very fortunate for my accidental pet #it's beautiful and requires a lot of tidy-maintenence due to how fast it grows and how it just throws leaves/flowers down #the very second it's done with them #so it gives me something relaxing to take care of that rewards me with a pretty but unintentional desktop companion #plus all my other plants are toxic to cats and have to be kept away from them #this one I can keep without fear #even if it does grow like crazy and wants to be a large plant #I should name it #we've been together for a while now and i've never named it
