the way loki used his magic was such a serve omg

i appreciate the subtle humor, the jokes in other new mcu contents (minus the guardians of the galaxy) annoy me but here it's well balanced yet funny👍

when brad said "playing dress up" to loki idk what he fully meant but my mind wandered to teen loki switching fem presenting & borrowing [stealing] frigga's clothing to try them on for funsies n shit (i used to do that w my mom's wedding clothes as a child 2 lol)

when brad was messing w/ loki he had the opportunity to do the most suicidal thing ever and add sth like "who isn't even your real mother" after bringing up frigga (bro would have gotten ANNIHILATED Ijbol)

the slap was so funny & satisfying at the same time. i didn't saw it coming but i love this side of mobius

this ep's genuinely the most TERRIFYING loki has been in the mcu. in the chase scene and both of the interrogation. i absolutely support it idgaf !! he was more intimidating then he was in the first avengers movie which says a loooot

when loki mentioned the new york incident that was either lazy writing or babe got brain damage cuz i am pretty sure when he was mad at thor & odin that was in new mexico?? when he sent that metallic shit down or wtvt💀 to prevent thor from returning. but i forgive only because he mentioned tony lmfao

i love seeing sylvie finally being content. even if it was thru fuckass mcdonalds. i hope she won't be reduced to the "weird love interest" cuz her chara has potential and you can tell she's tired of this bs as well...

another episode of sylki being forced, toxic, keep disagreeing with & avoiding each other with rather tense chemistry instead of a romantic one they supposedly meant to have & being one sided as hell. their "romance" makes zero sense in this series' context & i could go off for longer regarding this topic but i'll save it for a seeperate post, later!

o.b & casey are so wholesome

bro i'm starting to ship lokius i think? (not in a fetishzing way i just like their dynamics and they just both happen to be dudes/male presenting) cuz i am sensing romantic & soulmate-ish undertones. sad that disney is a coward to make it canon...

overall i loved the 70s-90s vibes they seem to be going for. this show deffo has the best aesthetics we've seen in marvel phase 5 so far and i can't wait to see what's coming next.

Loki Finale - Symbols and Other Thoughts

First of all, I am insane.

2. The color of Loki's magic (and his whole aesthetic) is green, so it makes sense that his magic colors the time branches green. You know what's also green? The time stone. Fuck me.

3. The Yggdrasil symbolism! The tree from Norse mythology, Loki's source material, which holds all the nine realms, now holding the entire time in the MCU. Amazing.

4. The tree symbolism! There's no one sacred timeline anymore, no one river-shaped flow of time. It's a tree now - all the timelines have the same basis, as in the tree trunk, but then they go in different directions, into the separate tree branches. I love it.

5. I will admit that the way they chose to not make either Lokius nor Sylki the endgame ship was kind of brilliant. Loki delivering that "for you" line to both of them, and Mobius and Sylvie's last scene being together is a pretty good way to not commit to either. From a fan's point of view frustrating, but pretty good from a producer's.

6. No one died and no one's character was completely broken in the last five minutes. As someone stil traumatized by Endgame, I am choosing to see this as a happy ending. (Brain be like: Scheduling a midnight breakdown where It All Hits You right now)

7. Does this mean Loki is the timelord? (I've only seen one season of Doctor Who, this is probably a bad joke)

i’m really missing Kate Herron directing Loki because it feels like she gave so much more thought into the little details of the show that meant so much to me and she would’ve given us sylki content that didn’t make me want to hit my tv

i’m also missing the aestheticness (is this a word ?) of the cinematography in season 1, as much as i am liking that we are seeing more of the tva (so i can try and get some sense of it’s workings) i will forever love the lamentis episode because the scenes were just *chefs kiss* (it was also a living bi flag) the void was also pretty cool and i loved the little hidden details that you could see in the wide shots

types of sylki shippers :D

(disclaimer: this is not meant to offend anyone, i’m just doing this for fun an i’m basing on what I’ve seen in the sylki fandom, without further ado lets start (●'◡'●))

the analytical ones: they analize every single moment we’ve seen of loki and sylvie’s relationship and make their own interpretations about it. they focus on every little fucking detail and most of the things they say actually make a lot of sense (personally idk how they do it, is pretty impresing lol)

the fluffballs/softballs: in summary: they love sylki fluff/soft moments. probably they really enjoyed moments like the blanket scene or when they nearly die in lamentis, nearly all of their headcanons are fluff and maybe that’s what they expect most in loki s2

the creators: they are the ones who make fanart, fanfics, edits, gifsets, etc, to express how much they love the ship, their hc or stuff like that. all of them are freaking talented

the extreme headcanoners: as the name clearly says, they make A LOT of headcanons and maybe that’s what they enjoy the most about sylki, sure they (may) like what we saw in the serie but that doesn’t stop them of making loads of au’s and hc no matter how crazy and unrealistic they may seem

the aEsThEtIc ones: they’re very similar to the creators (prob a subcategory), but their main propose is to make aestheticly pleasing stuff (or just ✨a e s t h e t i c✨), they make boards of images representing the ship, edit photos and might invent sylkicore (i’m intrested on how that will could out (★‿★))

the angst lovers: same as the fluffballs, but with angst

the supportives :): they are pretty aware of the antis and their effects on the sylki fandom, so they usually post stuff to show people that sylki is actually a loved ship among the general public to make people feel better. i like you <3

the fandom clowns: they are the ones who make all sorts of jokes about sylki, maybe hillariously editing moments between them or making jokes with internet tropes lol, cool ppl :)
