#sun and moon can make sure everyone has a safe and fun time

I need to know; In the waterpark, do Sun and Moon teach kids to swim? Just Sun? Or do they just make sure kids who can't swim wear their proper flotation devices? I feel like they'd be the most exciting swim instructors!
Oooooo thank you for the ask!!!
One of the first things sun and moon does in the morning is gather kiddos to the lazy river to learn or strengthen their ability to swim before their day in the park! (it’s closed off from teens and adults in the morning) Typically Sun leads the front, encouraging the kids, demonstrating to them what to do in a fun activity style way and Moon covers the back for the ones that need more one on one help and makes sure everyone stays together and in his sight.
Of course afterwards everyone under a certain age still is required to wear a flotation device while in the parks but the animatronics want to make sure every kid walks out of the lazy river with that skill.
Their wonderful teachers so the children learn fast while also having a fun time!

Learning to kick and stay afloat is the biggie so everyone starts with a flotation device to learn the motions :))

Bar Owner!Reader x TF 141 - Part III
Like my follower requested: Finally the final part of the Bar Owner!Reader series. I hope you all like it. It was so fun to create it all for you. I listened to the 5 centimeters per second original sountrack the whole time writing this. I've got happy tears in my eyes :)
Warnings: Curse words (like always)
Tumblr media
Captain John Price
John knows already for years that he is deeply in love with you yet he didn’t want to accept it. From day to day it gets harder to push the realization into the back of his mind. If you would feel the same you would have said something already. He assumes you are not looking for a relationship. Probably especially not with someone who is always away on missions. Someone who is always in danger to die very soon. Someone like John.
He takes another sip from his whiskey watching you how you serve your customers. It’s a warm evening and you all hang out in the garden behind your bar. You look so incredibly happy talking with everybody while Cougar trails after you like a lost puppy. Your joy radiates like a ray of sunshine. Behind you the sun is setting on the hills coloring you in a deep orange. It makes you even more breathtaking than you already are.
“I think you should tell (Y/N) what you feel”, Kate next to him says nonchalantly like she would talk about the amazing weather. “Am I that easy to look through?”, Price thought no one would know about his little secret. His ever-growing love for you.
“John, humor me for a second. I noticed how you look at (Y/N) when you think no one can see you. Don’t you think you let (Y/N) waiting long enough?”, Kate gives him an overly confident smile. “What do you know, Laswell?”, John tries not to sound too excited. His heart keeps hammering against his chest. Racing to catch up to you.
“I don’t want to give away too much, but if (Y/N) would have died the bar and Cougar would have been yours. Is that enough for you?”, Laswell lets him on your very own little secret. John stares at her in disbelief. The bar is everything you have ever loved in your life. Just like Cougar. You trust him so deeply knowing he would keep both safe and sound.
Price stands up from his chair making his way over to you. “Hey, John!”, your whole face lights up as you see him coming closer. He loves how you say his name. Your voice so full of kindness and love. It makes his knees weak.
He can’t stop himself anymore as he cups your face softly in his big hands. Surprised you look at him with a slight blush on your cheeks. “You have no idea how much I love you”, not waiting for your reaction John presses a soft kiss onto your lips.
Shocked you let go of the drinks, which splatter onto the grass. Doubts creep in John’s mind breaking away from you, but you stop them immediately as you wrap your arms around him pulling him into another kiss. “What took you so damn long?”, you lean your forehead against his.
Everyone starts to cheer loudly. Especially Kate. She is over the moon to see you happy once again. It brings the two of you back into reality. “I’m sorry for making you wait, love.”
It took John years to confess his love to you, but he makes sure to catch up all the things you two have missed. John tries literally everything to make all your dreams come true. Sometimes he forgets that he is the only thing you ever wanted in life.
He is so very thankful for the joy you bring him every single day he can be with you. You were all along his reason to come back safely from missions, but now John is allowed to drown in your love openly. You are his one and only. The ray of sunshine he needs to forget all the pain and misery he has been put through.
Even if you love to make fun of the fact he waited for years not realizing you feel the same all the time. John takes it with pride, “The best things in life take time, love.” Naming drinks that take longer to prepare after him.
Bonus
(Y/N): So, you set John up to confess finally?
Kate: Yes, it worked, right? But I might have lied to him about something…
(Y/N):  Kate… What did you say?
Kate: … I might have told him that you would give him your bar and Cougar if you would have died.
(Y/N): … Well, that’s not that much of a lie. I totally would have, but I’m not that easy to kill.
Kate: Oh, come on. Don’t act like a superhero.
(Y/N): … I took out half of the Russian military, Kate. I am a fucking superhero.
Kate: … *rolls her eyes* Damn it. That’s true.
Soap: *witnessing everything* HALF OF THE RUSSIAN MILITARY?!?
Tumblr media
Simon “Ghost” Riley
Simon keeps his love for you hidden away with the rest of his emotions. Everyone knows he has a soft spot for you, but not how much his heart yearns for you. He wants to share his life with you. He wants you to know the real Simon. The one behind the mask. He wants you to see how vulnerable he can be, because he knows you would never hurt him.
“Fucking hell”, Ghost mumbles under his breath slowly overwhelmed by his feelings and thoughts. “Hey, boys. Another round?”, you stand by the table giving everyone your best smile. Simon can’t believe how much he loves you. It almost physically hurts.
Without a word he stands up to leave the bar. The fresh air calms his racing mind, but he doesn’t even try to untangle those confusing thoughts. Every single one of them revolves around you like they always do. How long can he uphold this façade?
“Hey, you okay?”, you followed him outside pointing towards the garden chairs, “Wanna take a seat?” It’s actually too cold to sit outside yet he accepts your offer thankfully. In silence the two of you sit together. You look at the sky seeing a ton of stars this night. Ghost looks at you wondering which god has sent you his way. You don’t try to start an uncomfortable conversation. Not even once you forced him to talk to you. He’s incredibly grateful for the way you deal with his peculiarities.
“Sometimes when I get overwhelmed by my thoughts I look at the stars. I try to remember all the constellations I learned over the years. It took me years to learn that it’s actually okay not to be okay and w-“, you don’t mind holding an one-sided conversation. Simon could listen to your voice all day long yet he interrupts you, “I love you.”
Simon can’t look at you after his rather blunt confession scared to see rejection in your eyes. You take his hand in yours softly to get his full attention, “I love you too, Simon.” There is only admiration and kindness in your eyes. His heart swells with happiness.
You know it wouldn’t be easy to love Simon yet you still did it with all you had. First things first, this man has to learn to trust again. Opening up himself. He lived so long behind a mask not sure how to be a functioning human being anymore. You are always there for Simon giving him exactly what he needs. Patience, love, honesty, safety.
This man would literally die for you in an instant.
You adjust to keeping your relationship under the radar for a while. Not even his team knows about the two of you. Except for Price. He knew right away after Simon confessed his love to you during that night.
One evening in the bar Simon decides it is time to make it official. Johnny likes to flirt with you in a platonic way. “Amazing drinks as always, sweetheart”, Soap winks at you grinning like the childish boy he still is.
“That’s my partner you are flirting with, Johnny”, Simon wraps his arm around your middle as you stand next to him by the table. A few seconds no one dares to say a word. Price leans back impressed by Ghost’s openness, “Pay up, Gaz.” Kyle rolls his eyes as he hands over the money.
“You did not bet on us?!”, you throw your rag laughing at Price. He raises his hands in surrender, “Sorry, it was clear as the day. Had to take the chance to win a fine bet.” Gaz shrugs one shoulder, “I thought you two would be just friends.”
Soap stares at all of you clearly confused, “Am I the only one who did not about this at all?” Smiling you push his shoulder playfully, “Your head is always up in the clouds to notice the small things.” Cougar pushes his way forward to put his head on Ghost’s leg begging for head scratches.
“Oh, that’s why Cougar likes you more now!”, Soap puts the puzzle pieces together way later than everyone else. Simon can’t explain in words how happy he is in this moment. He finally found his very own little family.
Bonus
Soap: So… (Y/N), did you see Simon without his mask?
(Y/N): … No, not yet and that’s totally fine.
Soap: You didn’t kiss yet?! Simon! What are you waiting for?
Ghost: Fucking hell, Johnny! None of your business!
(Y/N): Don’t be so harsh, Simon. Johnny doesn’t know how to woe his partner.
Ghost: … *tries not to snicker*
Soap: That’s right! I don’t know … wait, what? HEY!
Ghost: *proud of you* (Y/N), I love you so much~
Tumblr media
John “Soap” MacTavish
Let’s be honest, everyone would know right away that this man is so in love with you. Soap is not someone who can keep things like this a secret. As soon as he lays his eyes on you his whole face lights up and nothing can bring him ever down.
“Fucking hell, Johnny, tell (Y/N) what you feel or I do it. I can’t stand you drooling over the whole table anymore”, Ghost doesn’t mean it literally, but Soap’s puppy eyes and lovesick grin the whole evening make him gag eventually.
Soap would love to tell you what he feels, but is just way too scared to lose you. “Just rip it off like a band-aid”, Gaz isn’t really the right one to give out flirt tips yet he does it anyways. Gaz and Ghost would team up against Soap; teasing him non-stop to push him to his limits so he would finally confess his undying love for you. “Boys, please, leave the poor lovesick baby alone”, Price smiles into his whiskey knowing exactly what he’s doing.
Soap stands up from his chair without a further word making his way towards the good old jukebox. He choses the first song he played over and over again to annoy you. It’s also actually the song that reminds him off you. When Soap is away from you he is always listening to this song.
You can’t help yourself from yelling out an amused “Johnny!” as you make your way towards him. A slight smile appears on his lips as he falls over and over in love with you once again. It is the first time you ever called him Johnny and it’s the most beautiful sound he has ever heard.
He grabs your hands in his to overplay how hard they are actually shaking. The nervousness is eating at him, “Just listen for a second. I really need to get this off of my chest … Then you can yell at me or whatever.”
“The first time I ever saw you has burned into my mind, because it was the best moment in my whole life. You are a ray of sunshine. Every time I’m with you I experience so much happiness and joy like I could hug the entire world. If I could I would drown in this feeling for the rest of my life… Not that I’m proposing… I mean if you want me to I-I … Oh shit…”
Everything started out so good for him, then he starts to stumble upon his own words. Still Johnny keeps pouring his heart into his one-sided speech, “I really like you, (Y/N). I’m not the best catch out there I know but I pro-…”
You cut his rambling off with a brief but meaningful kiss. “You talk way too much sometimes, Johnny”, you wink at him grinning and the whole bar interrupts your moment with cheering. Cougar makes him way in between the two of you to share some of the love.
This man worships the ground you walk on and would do everything for you. Sometimes Soap is a bit childish, but it doesn’t bother you at all. It reminds you to enjoy the life how it is and don’t worry too much. He still loves to get on your nerves with doing stupid shit. Here and there Soap even teams up with Gaz to make it double trouble.
“Sweetie, you love me, right?” – “You are god damn lucky you are cute, Johnny…”
Johnny is literally moving in with you after the two of you start dating. You can’t convince me otherwise. Being always by your side is his way of love language. Of course, you are not mad about having him around you all the time.
But the most important thing is that you bring Johnny peace and happiness. For the first time in forever he learns what being in love with someone really means. Having a reason to come back in one piece from missions. Johnny loves wrapping you up in his arms for sure being the happiest man on earth.
“I love you so damn much, (Y/N).” – “I love you too, Johnny.”
Bonus
Can’t forget about the most important fact of your relationship. Sharing your lovely Scottish man with your dog…
Johnny: Don’t look at me like that. I love you so much, Cougar. You are my number one.
You: … Do you want some alone time with my dog, Johnny?”
Johnny: No, no, you can stay if you want :)
You: … -.-
Tumblr media
Kyle “Gaz” Garrick
Gaz is quite decent hiding his growing feelings for you behind his poker face. No one knows how much it costs him to keep up his coolness. He lost completely control over his own body. You entering the room is enough for him to turn into a blushing mess How is he supposed to tell you what he feels without making a fool out of himself?
Silently sighing Gaz downs his drink in one single sip. He hates how easy everyone seems to interact with you. Soap always makes you laugh with his jokes, while he can’t even make a conversation without starting to ramble or stutter.
Gaz only wants to let you know how much you mean to him. That you make his life so much better. You are literally perfection and out of his league. Why does he even bother to try? His desperation reaches another level.
Only alcohol can help him now. He downs another drink earning a concerned glance from Price, “You okay?” With a slight smile on his lips Gaz stands up, “Never have been better, Cap.” John just witnessed him downing two handful of drinks within an hour. He is clearly not okay, but maybe Gaz reached finally the level where he will confess his love to you. Price will keep an eye on him from afar.
“Hey there”, you greet Gaz with a smile that lights his whole world up. He hops onto the bar stool almost falling over with the whole thing trying to be cool. “Are you drunk?”, you have never seen him like that before ever again. Gaz usually knows his limits.
“No, not drunk. Only a bit tipsy”, an overly confident grin is plastered on his face. Knowing what an effect you have on him you lean forward pulling him closer towards you by his shirt collar, “Then proof it.” His eyes widen full of panic for a second, while his heart skips a beat just to double up the speed afterwards.
“If I would be drunk I would tell you how perfect you are. I would tell you how much love I have in my heart for you. There is a space in there that is shaped exactly like you. Being near you makes me so damn happy I have never been before. I could drown in your lovely eyes. This must be true love…. But I’m not drunk so therefore I’m not telling you all of this.”
His truthful words leave you shocked. A slight blush appears on your cheeks.
“Well, you just said it out loud, buddy”, Soap just stands a few centimeters away from the two of you witnessing everything. Realization hits Gaz like a baseball bat in his face. His drunk ass just confessed not knowing he spoke all of his thoughts out loud?!
“Soap!”, you throw your rag at him. Without a further word Gaz stands up bailing out completely sober now and makes his way out of the bar. “Oh no, for sure not!”, Price grabs him by his shoulders and guides Gaz back to the counter, where you are still standing.
“Don’t you dare to run away from me ever again”, you grab his chin to place a kiss onto his lips. Soap giggles in the background, Ghost makes fake gag sounds and Price just rolls his eyes, “Get a room, kids.”
Gaz still can’t believe his luck even after weeks of dating. You are the only good thing in his life and he would give everything to make you happy. Which means he lives his romantic side to its fullest. Planning out dates like almost every week. Burying you under a wave of presents he thinks you might like. Writing you pages and pages of meaningful words hoping you can understand what you mean to him.
But as soon as his ass is planted in the bar he turns into a literal child. Bickering with Soap about the jukebox. Making bets with him who can annoy you the worst. Sneaking drinks behind your back and so on. He even teams up with Soap AND Cougar singing songs from the jukebox. Well, Cougar only barks away happily having a blast with Gaz by his side.
“You are all grounded for the rest of the week!” – “No, baby! I love you! You know that, right? RIGHT?! BABY!”
Bonus
Gaz: … Thank you, Captain, for giving me the push I needed.
Price: You are welcome, kid… but please stay away from the alcohol.
Soap: … What about me? I helped too!
Gaz: You made everything worse!
Soap: I did not! You wanted to run away!
Gaz and Soap: *start pushing each other*
Price: Boys, behave.
(Y/N): … I love all of you, but bloody hell what did I get myself into?

i hate to be the one to say it, but... DCA sans Au. Red is the daytime protocol, Sans is nighttime, and Skull is what happens when Eclipse comes out. im sorry but i had to think it and now so do you
cringe culture is dead, on god, i will make what i want.
For those not in the know, the DA (daycare attendant) is a robot in FNAF Security Breach that takes care of kids. The bot has multiple personalities inside it- one for the day, one for the night, and a third Spooky Mode that we all want to kiss
Mc would be an assistant, hired to help the DA manage his responsibilities... especially since he’s recently been exhibiting some slightly worrying quirks.
Red (sun): Red is the daytime personality. You can tell its him when the eyelights are red. He’s the fun one, the one with the smiles and personality to keep the children engaged all day, the one with the energy to play for hours and the attention to make sure everyone’s safe. He’s generally charming enough to make parents feel alright handing over their kids despite the company’s strained history with childcare, but on top of everything he comes with top-of-the-range security features.
He and Mc get along like a house on fire. Usually the daycare assistants are annoying and obviously would rather be anywhere else, but she clearly cares about the kids as much as he does, and he likes how her presence adds to the atmosphere. Something Mc wasn’t expecting is Red is quite... different when the children are gone- as soon as the daycare closes, he has no need to inhibit his language or behaviour anymore. He can have fun catching her off guard with his touchy, almost inappropriate flirting.
(A small quirk- he can’t swear during daycare hours, but he certainly tries. The words come out automatically censored, so if Mc hears him yell “FUDGE!” after dropping a box on his foot she knows what he meant.)
Sans (moon): A slightly more softspoken personality that only comes out when the lights are off, in charge of sleepovers and naptime. He’s around when the robot eyelights are a gentle blue. ‘Mischievous’ is an understatement, he’s an absolute menace to staff, regularly stealing from and mocking anyone who gets in his line of sight or on his nerve. Sometimes he’s difficult to understand, he doesn’t like talking to adults and has a very short temper with them- he can get surprisingly violent with human staff if they aggravate him. But he always, always remains gentle and caring with the children. He’s best with small kids and babies, they seem to adore him, and it’s not unusual to see him moving around the darkened play area in set loops to rock a child tucked in his arms to sleep. The kids affectionately call him ‘blue’.
At first, he was just as much of a nuisance to Mc as he had been to all other previous daycare assistants. He steals anything she has on hand, makes fun of her, knocks things off her desk, etc etc. But over time, it becomes clear he’s not doing it to be malicious- it’s because he wants her attention. He’s jealous of the amount of time she spends with Red and wants her eyes on him.
Skull (eclipse): A hidden, third personality, powerful and always present but deeply unstable and actively restrained by both Red and Sans. He rarely ever gets out, and he doesn’t often try to be in control anymore, accustomed to being held down by the other two. He gets quiet during daycare hours, when the kids are around... he’s content to just watch them play, soothed by the sounds of tiny laughter.
... But when the daycare is closed, he becomes harder to restrain. And he gets even more erratic when emotions run particularly high... for example, perhaps he’s instantly fallen in love with the cute new daycare assistant, and when Red flirts with/gets very close to her, Skull gets excited and wants a turn to touch. Perhaps he gets angry at Sans for upsetting her, and his frustration surges through before Red or Sans can stop him, managing to blurt out a furious “stop talking!” before being wrangled away from the wheel again.
On the rare occasion when he’s in control, he has four arms and one bright purple eyelight, plus a noticeable size boost. He moves and talks slowly, half his focus is always on keeping the other two from regaining control. But the damage he can do while he’s got the reigns can’t be understated.
... It’s been a long time since he was in control. Red and Sans don’t trust him to be free. Not after what happened.

Heya! Just saw your post so I hope you don't mind my fluff related somewhat crossover of Batman and Moon Knight:
In this random AU, Bruce Wayne witnessing the death of his parents was such a traumatic moment that it would spiral to give him DID (his extra personalities being Steven Grant and Jake Lockley from Moon Knight).
Now in present time, each character of the batfamily (of your choice) while doing something together (maybe training perhaps) can't help but each remember fondly about the first time meeting Bruce and eventually finding out and meeting his other personalities as well and how much it was quite a surprise. They even each tell their most fondest memories with Bruce, Steven or Jake, by the end, they don't realize that Bruce Wayne has came back, smiling with Steven Grant and Jake Lockley also feeling happy.
Hope that's okay, thanks and have a great day
Hey! Okay I think I understand the request but in case I don't, feel free to ask again. I have never done cross over stuff before but I love both batman and moonknight so I'm excited to try. They really feel like they fit together so well. I can totally imagine the wild interactions between these men. Anyway without further or do here you go! 😄
The kids were used to Bruce's changes. Most of them thought of Steven as a second dad. Jake only came out when needed but having a family seemed to mello him out almost like he felt safe with them.
It had been a rough night for everyone. Gotham just seemed to be falling deeper into the hands of crime lords and maniacs. Dick, Jason, and Tim made their way to the kitchen for a snack before bed.
“Any of you catch Jake and Bruce arguing again?” Tim asked as Dick grabbed them all some cereal.
“Nah I got real good at tuning out their bickering. Don't take them so seriously. They will work it out.” Jason says as he shoves a whole huge spoonful cereal into his mouth.
“Do you guys remember a few Christmases ago when Steven and Alfred worked all morning to set up the living room for a Christmas card photo and Damien puked all over the rug?” Dick said as he finally made himself a bowl. He smiled as he remembered the look on everyone's face. There they all were dressed in their finest and poor Damien just couldn't keep it down.
“All I remember was the smell. I told him not to eat the ancient candy canes in the decoration box.” Tim said with a chuckle. “I thought you were going to bring up when Jake bought that bike and tried to park it in the greenhouse. I thought Bruce was going to throw that thing in the pool for a second.” Tim added.
“Oh my God I forgot about that!” Jason interjected as he choked down another large spoonful. “That bike was great. I think that was the first bike I ever rode. Jake can be a pain but he taught me everything I know about bikes. I hope Bruce wasn't jumping down his throat too much tonight. The guy really has a knack for taking the fun out of vigilante work.”
Everyone knew Jason and Jake were close. When Jason first came back from the dead Jake was the only person he'd let near him. They just understood each other. Jake was the father Jason thought he needed.
“Jake's alright but Steven will let me talk his ear off all day if Bruce isn't busy. I even got him into RPGs and he helped me rebuild my computer.” Tim commented finishing his bowl of cereal first.
The boys continued talking about their shared experiences with Bruce, Steven, and Jake. It's an unconventional set up for a family but they all manage to make it work together.
At some point Bruce realized they hadn't gotten around for bed yet so he looked in the one place he knew he'd find three teen boys, the kitchen. Sure enough they were there all sat on stools, cereal long finished. They were boisterously recounting their favorite moments with their surrogate fathers. If Steven had been in control a tear might have come to Bruce's eye.
The sun started to rise and eventually they all went to bed. Bruce couldn't help but sleep a little sounder knowing Steven and Jake were loved by his adopted sons. He couldn't ask for a better family.
It got a little sappy near the end but I hope you enjoyed. It was a really fun AU to write. The idea is super creative and sweet. I hope I did it justice. 💕

Hello! Can you do a request, Platonic or Friendship of Transformers (Prime, RID 2015, Animated, and others) Autobot kids, of your choice, w/ Reader as a Bot (or Animatronic) who's based on Daycare attendant (Sun/Moon/Eclipse) from Fnaf?
(if its okay add a reactions of the Autobots on Platonic relationship or Friendship between Autobots' kids and Daycare attendant! Reader?)
(Thank you and Hope you doing well!)
A/n: I'm having a wonderful day anon and i hope you do as well! Decided to add everyone's reaction so it's a big post! (I literally love sun and moon, the silly jester's)
Warnings: Fluff, Platonic Care, Friendship/ Guardian Care, Angst
Tfp:
Jack
He was more amazed by your design, how gracefully you moved compared to the other bots
You often would invite him to join you into some activities but he'd brush it off saying that he was too old for that kinda stuff (but you did make it look fun)
Then there was your moon form, the switch from you bubbly and exciting personality to a more docile yet protective one was quite baffling to him (also talk about a makeover)
Poor him if you hear about a messed up sleep schedule from being a teenager. Even his mom hasn't been able to get him to bed (he was obviously grumpy about it, but deep down was moved by your care for him.)
When he meets eclipse when he's in danger he feels so shocked but safe. What happened to you?
Has seen and understood the protection protocols you have and just how much you care about their safety.
Miko
Definitely still rebellious. If you think she called people her parents as an insult you definitely fit the parental role in her life.
She was at first very outspoken about not wanting you watching over them. (Babysitting her)
And when she tried to show you heavy metal by playing it, you happily supported her by playing a tiny xylophone. (You were trying your best but being excessively loud wasn't your deal)
You'd try to give her the space she needed but you obviously cared about her.
She did think your moon form was awesome. (Especially when she heard about you protection protocols)
You were unsuccessful to get her to sleep at reasonable hours but she ended up growing fond of you. You actually cared and supported her while her parents wanted her to be perfect. And you liked her the way she was.
Would more often than not join the activities you had planned out for them, learning that you were actually loads of fun behind your safety protocols (and human care files)
When she meets eclipse she thinks you're so cool! Yeah kick the cons ass! Definitely tells you that you're like a weapon which makes you feel bad, you worked so hard making sure that would never happen again. She clarifies that she just thinks that you being able to fight makes you awesome in her eyes.
Raf
Beyond delighted to meet you! Most bots are busy and don't often have time to chat but you're more than happy to talk to your hearts content with him
He allows your personality to shine, letting you both make fun activities and just hanging out with you
Definitely sees you as a Guardian because his family often overlooks him/ pressures him. But you can give him your undivided attention and compassion. He is still a growing boy
Is practically beaming when he sees your Moon form! "How did you do that!?"
Sometimes he overworks himself on what he's doing and you can always persuade him to rest
You can tell him stories and even play from your built in music box. You definitely help him feel safe and rest easy.
Definitely shows you morning cartoons and you sit happily with him and watch him. He also teaches you about videogames.
When he meets eclipse he's honestly worried about you but also sees that you're not some defenseless bot and you're willing to risk spark and limb to keep them all safe
Optimus
He knew a bit about your past and he trusts you with the kids. He has no problem believing that you excel at entertaining and protecting them
He knows about your protective protocols and about eclipse and how that came to be
You were a caregiver on cybertron, watching over new bots and keeping them happy and healthy. You took absolute happiness in caring and playing with them, until the war. He knows how you tragically lost all of those under your care, seeing them all perish without being able to stop anything
He knows how that affected you eventually causing a split in your personality. Eclipse was more or less who you were, sun and moon were what you were left with after all the heartbreak.
He's seen how despite not wanting to be on the battlefield, you can definitely kick ass. Seeing you attack ferociously almost in a rampage when he first met you on cybertron
He treats you with much respect and feels easy around you. With how serious the war has been having you around is like a breath of fresh air
Ratchet
Man is a doctor, not a babysitter and he appreciates you
Hes always on edge and his patience is thin so he could never properly take care of the kids, even if he's grown on them (with some favoritism to raf)
At first he didn't really think you had it in you to be an Autobot or watching over the kids but you've shown him just how much you're capable of your work
You can work with the kids, having so much patience and just care for them. He realizes your strength and grows to truly appreciate the care you put into them
He definitely notices when you sometimes grow anxious around the kids but you prioritize them.
He doesn't know why until he asks optimus. His view on you definitely changes, he wonders if you see pieces of the young bots under your care in the kids
Arcee
Definitely didn't believe in your capabilities in fighting until there came a moment when the kids were in danger. You turned into eclipse, swiftly taking care of the problem before frantically checking over the kids
She was FLABBERGASTED. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN KICK ASS, YOU'RE A BABYSITTER??
She finds it funny when Jack comes and complains about your caring nature to her. She cares about him and also nags him, so she bonds with you over that care
Asks more about eclipse while all you can do is politely decline answering her questions. Its a sore spot for you and eclipse is strange to you
She also asks about your past and relates to you. She also had to deal with grief over the war, and she sympathizes with you. She stops pushing for answers and understands what you do and who you are better
Definitely happy to have you stay in base watching over the kids if an emergency happens. She trusts you and is grateful for you.
She finds your music box relaxing.
Bumblebee
He loves your personality, he's always happy to see you. But he's even happier to participate in your activities.
He also has fun watching over the kids but you do a stellar job!
He thinks it's cute how you take care of the kids, you just radiate lively energy
Then he sees your moon form and he's pleasantly surprised by the shift. Especially if the kids are staying over for the night. The way you carry yourself with serenity and care is so different but wonderful.
You often ask for them to keep quiet if the kids are sleeping.
He's heard about eclipse but hasn't met them yet.
Bulkhead
He's just happy that someone more careful with their feet are taking care of the kids
Hes a big guy with great strength. He tries to be gentle but he can fail, so having you watch over the kids is like taking a sigh if relief.
He may find your switching from sun to moon a bit uncanny but he just doesn't know how to interact with you. (He's nervous and doesn't truly understand how it works)
Sees you try to take care of miko and sometimes apologies for her, even when you told him that this reaction is natural in growing kids
He often overlooks your activities because he doesn't want to accidentally break anything you've set up.
Learns about your past and can't help but feel bad for you. The war has harmed alot of people but how could it rip such a vibrant bot like you.
Happy to have someone that knows what they're doing taking care of the kids.
Tfa:
Sari
She enjoys your company when she's more younger. She's always wanted to hangout with the bots more but sometimes she has to sit out certain missions. Luckily you're there to watch over her.
She definitely is happy that you actually know how to take care of humans and understand them. (You downloaded your information)
She was happy to count on you when her father was missing. You definitely made it easier for her and she appreciates you.
When she turns into a teenager that's where some changes happen. She thinks you might watch over her as babysitting and she can take care of herself!
She also puts a bit of a front with your moon form. She's not a little kid and she can stay up longer. (In her opinion, she tends to knockout early thanks to you)
She adores how your personality changes like the sun and the moon.
They day she saw you turn into eclipse she was shocked. "YOU KEPT A SECRET THIS BIG FROM ME???"
She'd love to see eclipse more often but usually gets told to not push it.
Optimus
Doesn't fully understand humans or taking care of younger ones. He does end up learning by asking Sari and you. He picks up some stuff pretty quickly
He doesn't understand why you were added onto their team from the beginning. They were maintenance bots and you were??? Well, not that.
Your long limbs did prove to be helpful on more than one occasion and you were quite flexible.
He met eclipse when you had saved Sari from getting taken by the Cons. You singlehandedly scared them off and he was frozen in place. You were so quick and fierce getting her back and away from them, yet so gentle at handling her and looking her over for any injuries. He couldn't quite process it for a minute.
He asked you about eclipse and you nervously told him that it was something of mindset that combined both your personalities and it only ever appeared on cybertron. He respected your boundaries and made sure to remember them.
He feels relaxed around your moon form, but your footsteps are so light he forgets that you can still be walking around. (Has to listen closely to pick up on your bells)
Ratchet
At first he was deeply annoyed by you. Especially when you were Sun. He thought he had gotten another energetic and unruly young bot that he'd have to watch over like bumblebee.
Then when you all arrived on earth he saw just how patient you are. You would answer Saris questions, keep her entertained and safe.
He was also caught off guard by your moon form. He's grown more used to your Sun form and gets a bit spooked out at first. He ends up liking how you remind them to rest and just how calm you are. What freaks him out more is when you play your music box.
When he saw eclipse he was more cautious and even a bit frightened at what had just happened. He knew that your personalities weren't a common occurrence, not even on Cybertron, especially when it appeared in a time of high stress.
He became more fascinated in wether eclipse was some way you coped with emergencies or as a fight or flight response. He definitely thought it was a fight response on how you maneuvered yourself against the cons to get Sari back.
He was worried about leaving Sari in your care after that, scared that you could potentially hurt her.
He did some digging through the ship and learned about your past. You were tasked to look after young bots, not necessarily a teacher. He learned that you've been around from before the war and how you were sent to evacuate the young ones to an area away from the fighting only for the Cons to lay siege on the area, thinking it was an Autobot hideout.
He saw that you were basically rehabilitated after being eclipse for so long, but you couldn't go back to your original job because of it.
He saw that you truly cared about Sari and you would protect her and he trusted you again. He just hoped that reverting to eclipse didn't cause any psychological episodes on you. It's hard to read you when you always act like everything is okay.
Prowl
He didn't think much of you like Ratchet. Already having a taste of another energetic personality (bumblebee) he wasn't exactly excited to work with you.
When you had arrived on earth, much like him, you were curious and open about this planet to the point of downloading just about any information you could find.
Then he saw you watching over Sari and learned that you were also observant and clever. You were sometimes able to get Sari to do things that she would refuse to do (like sleeping early)
He sometimes talks to you about his observations, seeing how you light up and are interested in mundane things like nature with him.
Then he sees your moon from and he greatly enjoys your company. You're much more relaxed and quiet, you seem more docile. Some night he enjoys quietly talking to you.
And then theres eclipse. He didn't even know you could fight. Despite his initial shock his gut feeling tells him to trust you. Especially when you held Sari and were practically all over her asking if she was scared and if she was hurt.
He did want to talk more about eclipse, he knew you would get a bit uncomfortable, but he reasoned that getting better control of eclipse could prove more helpful for you. Eventually he'd get eclipse to come out again, making sure to help you grow accustomed to them.
He learned that Eclipse was more silent and more alert, almost on guard. He'd end up talking to you getting told small bits of your past but he was okay with it. He's more happy that you don't pose a threat to yourself and others
Bumblebee
He got along with you! You were so much fun and so active! You weren't reckless like he was but he still enjoyed time with you.
And going to earth didn't change much, except he thinks you became a bit of a buzz kill. It was mostly because he always let Sari tag along and you didn't want her to get hurt.
He knows it comes from a good place at heart but he feels like you nag him a bit.
He wasn't too fond of your moon form. You were quite and usually wanted to talk in a hushed tone (because you had already put Sari to sleep)
He gets to learn more about humans when you and Sari are talking or making a fun activity together. He often joins in on the fun (usually to escape s boring task)
When he met your eclipse form he was bewildered and awkward honestly. "So we're not going to talk about your crazy orange side?"
More blunt about the subject, he wanted answers! But luckily ratchet just told him that when you were ready you'd explain it.
Bulkhead
He definitely gets along really well with you. You tend to keep things safe and fun, and he appreciates it
He has grown used to seeing you watch over Sari but he also gets his time to spend with her
You have both actually bonded over art! He makes paintings while you tend to draw adorable stick figures, that you sometimes deck out with glitter glue. Everytime you show him your work he's always positive about it.
As well as bumblebee he's liked you before landing on earth.
At first your moon form caught him off guard, especially when you'd walk around ay night, but he's used to it now.
When he saw Eclipse he was taken aback and frightened. It looked like you but it wasn't quite you. You were defensive and just worried about Sari.
He kept a close eye on the two of you for a while, trying to ease his own nerves.
He confronts you about it, bringing it up gently and you tell him that it's complicated but you didn't intend on scaring anyone. He doesn't judge you and is just happy to have you back.
RID 2015:
Russle
He was at first trying to be distant from you. To be fair he saw you like a babysitter and he was trying to act more mature.
He at first would be dismissive at first at your attempts to befriend him but he'd eventually give in with some pressure from his dad.
Eventually he'd find the activities you set up to be actually fun, heck, even his dad would take part in them with him and they'd have a great bonding experience
He'd find your sun colors to be bright but not too oversaturated. You reminded him of a carnival.
When he met your moon form one of the Decepticons managed to break free from his pod at night. Russell was taking a walk with his father and they were about to be trampled until you practically flung the Decepticon away.
And that's when he looked up and saw you. You were so different like this, you changed color and personality, at first he called out to you nervously not sure if you were alright. Luckily after dealing with the Decepticon you leaned down and comforted the two (his dad practically froze on instinct)
Then after getting used to your moon form, being more quiet and peaceful he met your eclipse from. This was probably his favorite form of yours because you were still fun but you were more relaxed
He enjoyed introducing you to new things on earth and answering your questions, you were just so wholesome and excited about it.
Overall he enjoys the time he spends with you, well except when they leave him out of missions and leave him in your care (he's just salty he doesn't get included)
Bumblebee
Was concerned when you had also traveled the space bridge with them. Him and strongarm were at least police, sideswipe got dragged along, but you weren't exactly what he'd call cut out for the job.
He struggled to understand where you fit in, sure you had juvenile tendencies but you weren't a handful to deal with like sideswipe. You also tended to follow along but not all to the book like strongarm. You were like your own middle space. When you first arrived on earth you were definitely spending more time looking around and learning about the planet.
He grew fond of your personality, you were optimistic and energetic, which is why it surprised him to see your moon form. Sure you saved Russell from getting stomped but you also took down a whole con. Alone.
He was curious about your moon form, noticing how quieter you were, especially your footsteps, it was harder to hear where you were if it weren't from the bells decorating you.
He overall tried talking to you about it, in which you assured him that this was just how you were, but you didn't think you'd change while on earth. Speaking of changes when you turned into eclipse he thought you broke or something.
It was a high stress situation and you weren't taking it too well but he was walking you through it (to the best of his ability) until he saw you change. In this form you were more grounded and put together and you ended up helping alot like this.
He enjoys watching you interact with Russel and the others, reminds him of when he didn't have the responsibility of a leader. That and too often humored him more than the others. He knows he doesn't have to worry too much about you (especially seeing how capable you were at handling yourself) but sometimes worries when you change between forms. He wonders if it's painful for you.
Strongarm
She was definitely more harsh on you when you first met. As far as she was concerned you were just a civilian that got dragged into this mess, but she didn't dislike you as much as she did with sideswipe.
She thought you were gullible and slowing them down until she realized how crafty you were. She often watched how you partook in "arts and crafts" while watching over Russel but didn't bother to think how clever you were (at least in the situations you were actually in)
She grew more fond of you, especially after you got lost in the forest trying to find her and sideswipe after they had another disagreement. After they both cooled down and returned to base they realized that you've still been gone and it was already nightfall.
Eventually she went out to look for you but was shocked when she found you. You looked different, she almost confused you for a con in the dark. She noticed the change in your body language and voice, you sounded more quiet. You told her to keep your little change a secret and she did.
She honestly prefers your sun to your moon form. You were always cheerful and lively that seeing you so docile and quiet made her nervous. That and when she saw the way you had practically flipped a con like it was nothing.
When she met your eclipse form she approached you with more curiosity, asking if you were feeling well. You explained that you were okay but your heightened stress would often have you revert back to this.
She's understanding of your personalities and has enjoyed having you as her friend, especially when you talk to her about something new from earth.
Sideswipe
Oh boy where to begin. He didn't mind your presence but didn't seem interested to get to know you. He was all about action but he knew you weren't a total buzzkill.
After a while you ended up becoming his voice of reason, like a friend that was watching out over him and Russel if they were getting into more dangerous activities.
He enjoyed hanging out with you a ton, finding himself participating in any activities you were doing with Russel and Denny. He warmed up to you easily with your enthusiasm yet caring personality.
His jaw practically hit the floor when he saw your moon from, the way you threw that Decepticon like they were nothing had him flabbergasted. "Since when can you do that!?"
He was freaked out at first but then was practically beaming at how awesome you were. He found your moon form more calming to be around especially at night. He was more than happy to give your form a chance but he also wanted you to take down more cons (he wanted to see you go berserk again)
Then he saw your eclipse form and he couldn't decide how he was feeling about you, on one hand, this was another one of your surprises but on the other you were more sure of yourself and also helping out more in this form.
He's happy to call you his friend, especially when he convinces you to do something reckless with him. bumblebee always scolds him for being a bad influence, but in his opinion a little fun never hurt anyone.
Grimlock
When he first saw you he thought you were funny looking, in a good way! He loved the way your personality reflected the way you looked. You were like a little sun!
He was definitely 100% on board with anything you wanted to do. You always made up new ways to have fun. He did feel bad about arts and crafts though, he wasn't too careful and he'd more often than that break his creation, but you always comforted him and encouraged him forward.
The night the con had escaped its pod he practically had a heart attack as he saw you charge at the con, before sighing in relief when you successfully knocked them out. He was cheering loudly for you as you were attacking the con, telling you to go all out.
Other than that he liked your moon form, not only were you great at fighting but you became more caring and calm. He was actually the one that discovered your music box and at night would often ask for you to play it. (It helps him relax a lot, especially because it's also with you)
This man was so shocked seeing your eclipse form. He would often joke around with you about how you kept it a secret. You were amazing in your eclipse form, you kept your knowledge and strength in fighting but you were also a great teammate, he'd love to go on missions more with you.
He's honestly a sweetheart with you and gets along well with any form you're in.
Fixit
He was more amazed at your appearance. He wasn't used to seeing many bots but you were so different and stylized.
You were more understanding with his glitching, more often than not laughing to yourself at his mix up. You also were happy to befriend him more than the others. He believed it was because you didn't have much experience seeing a minicon.
Then he saw your moon from and was practically gushing at you. He had never seen another bot do whatever you just did! The personality changes gave it away that you were different from any regular bot.
He ended up trying to do some research, it's not that you were a different bot entirely. His conclusions led him to believe that something in your past caused this spilt in your personality.
He felt more safe around you whenever you stayed behind to look after the base when bumblebee had left for a mission, trusting that your moon side could protect them.
When he saw eclipse he was practically speechless. It made him ask all sorts of questions on why you were like this. You ended up being a bit vulnerable and explaining that you weren't sure why you were made like this and that you were sorry if this all made him upset.
He reassured you that he didn't think any less of you because of it, he actually compared it to his glitching. It wasn't regular but it made you both unique.
He's very warm and friendly towards you, he likes having you around, especially when you include him in whatever you're working on. He always ends up having a blast and he feels lucky to have a friend like you!

Giving the Pretty Little Liars characters a Big Three... Pt. 1
"Friends share secrets. That's what keeps us close."
Tumblr media
MATURITY RATING: 18+
SPOILER WARNING: If you haven't watched most of the show then this post may not be for you!
Hi all, this is my first post on Tumblr and I wanted to do something silly. I'm an astrology enthusiast but by no means a professional. Yes, some of my opinions or observations may be wrong or some people might not like them at all, but that won't stop me from making the fun posts I want to make.
Pretty Little Liars has always been my go-to comfort show when I want to watch a drama. I'm always happy to dive back into the PLL universe any time of the year, and I usually watch it during the fall/winter season when it's cold and I can bundle up and binge-watch many episodes at a time.
I will be including the less popular characters in part two as well, not just the main characters because I've rewatched the show over five times now and I've come to have an opinion on everyone. I'll also include some little tidbits in some character sections that don't pertain to astrology, so if you're here just for the big three, kindly disregard them!
WARNING: Really long post, with lots of gifs and pictures - read at your own risk!

And now, without further ado, the first little Liar we will be analyzing is...
Tumblr media
Aria Montgomery
“When you love someone, it's worth fighting for. No matter what the odds are.”
Tumblr media
In my opinion, Aria is the quietest personality of the Liars and understandably also the most controversial of the bunch because of Ezra being a thing (oh brother…), and I have observed that many fans of the show generally don't like her for a multitude of reasons. That aside, I think every character on the show had their personal charm even if they were all problematic. The only time I really liked Aria was when she was with anyone but Ezra. And after the time jump, her character was less annoying (until she got with Ezra) and I thought it was neat that she had worked in publishing. I also liked her moments with Spencer (team Sparia!) and I always thought she was much better when she was with her friends.
I remember when I thought Aria was A at some point because she would do the "SHH" in the intro and it had sent me and my mom into a frenzy trying to come up with a believable theory that she was betraying the girls the whole time! Aria is my least favorite, but I still appreciate her because I can see a lot of myself in her, she and I share the same hobbies and some personality traits as well. I think Aria might either be a Venus or Neptune dominant because of the artistic and dreamy persona she has. Her appearance also reminds me of the moon.
Cancer Sun
Tumblr media
Much like a Cancer, Aria cares a whole lot about her family and I think she's particularly close with her mother. Throughout the show, she displays lots of Cancerian traits and acts very maternal around her loved ones especially with Ezra (ugh), for example: bringing them food, making sure they're taken care of emotionally, giving them a safe space to talk about their feelings (I noticed she's usually the one that the rest of the Liars go to when they need to have an emotional conversation). She's also very bright and has many creative hobbies that act like a protective blanket for her when she's feeling emotional, e.g. reading, writing, drawing, and photography. I also noted that she's very protective of her friends and family and she acts like an angry mama bear when her loved ones are threatened.
Libra Moon
Tumblr media
From what I've read, Libra moons thrive in partnerships, whether romantic or platonic, and they always try to keep everything balanced/harmonious. And for Aria, that sometimes means keeping secrets or telling little white lies (or even big ones) to keep the peace between her and her loved ones. There've been multiple times when Aria has lied for her friends and for herself to keep everything balanced between the group. She's also very intelligent and open-minded, made evident by her consistent interest in learning.
Libra moons also have trouble making decisions or making up their mind about things, and they often need a little nudge or push from their loved ones to make a decision and I think that matches up with attributes of Aria's personality as well. She's also very warm, friendly, and sociable and really just wants the best for her loved ones. And if I remember correctly Aria has had a looooot of relationships/flings throughout the show and I read somewhere that Libra moons are almost always in a partnership. And sometimes (this isn't every Libra moon, don't come for me) might start a new romance in the middle of their current one!
Okay, moving on to her Ascendant, I will go with...
Gemini Rising
Tumblr media
I put Gemini rising for Aria because I read somewhere that mercurial risings or mercury contacting the ascendant can make someone look very youthful and bright. Also because she is a very mercurial coded person imo. She is very intellectual and has very quick wits about her. She's also very curious and excitable when speaking to others, and is actually very talkative when you get her going. Sometimes Gemini risings also get overwhelmed with the feeling of wanting or needing to do everything at once, and often have two personalities much like I observed with Aria. They also tend to like traveling and are usually very active and thrive on change, fast pace, and variety.
Okay, we're done with Aria, I hope the placements I gave her also make sense for you guys too - now the next little Liar we're moving on to is... *drumroll*
Tumblr media
Spencer Hastings “Why enjoy today when you could be worrying about tomorrow?”
Tumblr media
Spencer is one of my favorite characters on the show because every time I watch the show she constantly inspires me to be brave and more confident in my opinions. I also appreciate the actress, Troian Bellisario because she's so underrated, I think she and Ashley Benson (Hanna) carried the show with their comedic timing and great acting and should be more recognized. Spencer's character also really satisfies the wannabe detective in me and I looove that she's like a mini Sherlock Holmes. I like that she wasn't just a preppy rich girl and was actually very smart and investigative; she would've made a great detective if she went into the line of policework like Toby did. She's also very headstrong and sometimes a bit hardheaded.
Spencer is such a caffeine addict and I love it lmao but I don't see how some people drink just straight black coffee, I hate how bitter it is. I love Spoby (Spencer and Toby) with all my heart but I feel like she would've been a better match with Caleb or Alex (if they kept him on the show). She was also very cute with Wren (rip...) even though he was a little older than her. Toby is a great guy but I just never saw the chemistry with those two like I did with her other romances. Spencer being Mars and Mercury dominant makes a ton of sense to me. I think her having a fire grand trine in her fictional birth chart would explain how restless she is. From what I've read the keywords for fire grand trines are vital, bursting with energy, restless, enthusiastic, and prideful.
Aries Sun
Tumblr media
Spencer being an Aries sun makes a lot of sense to me partially because of how hard she works to be the very best and is always charging headfirst into everything that she does whether it be schoolwork, playing detective, or protecting her friends. She's also very impulsive from what I've noticed and it often gets her into trouble or sometimes accidents. Aries placements are prone to accidents or injuries due to their impulsiveness. She never really thinks much before she does something and that's gotten her into some very embarrassing situations on the show (but we love her for it). She's very competitive and witty and also loves debating and is usually the one starting confrontations with people alongside Hanna. I also think it's cute that she is very energetic and an adrenaline junkie, I think she loves the thrill of dangerous situations, and that screams Aries to me. Overall a very chaotic and smart cookie, it's very easy to see why Toby fell in love with her.
For her moon sign, it was a tough decision to make but I'm going to have to go with...
Scorpio Moon
Tumblr media
Scorpio Moons are so alluring, mysterious, and unbelievably smart. Spencer can be very intense. On multiple occasions, she's gotten called out for being a control freak by the other Liars in the group. As a fixed moon sign she can be very stubborn and assertive (I almost gave her Taurus for this one). She has an insatiable need to know everything at all times and often presses for more information any chance she can get. She also displayed exceptional intuition and was almost a little psychic at times which is why she was so good at being the detective of the group and also figured Mona out. She's a suspicious girlie and finds it hard to trust anyone that she doesn't already know. As a Scorpio moon and just a water moon in general, Spencer often experiences intense emotions and is prone to having breakdowns or self-destructing when things get hard. To people outside of her close circle of friends and family, she can seem very intimidating and hard to approach and even sometimes a bit snappy.
For her rising sign, we're giving her a...
Sagittarius Rising
Tumblr media
I was going to give Spencer a Capricorn or Virgo Rising, but I decided that her being perceived as a Sagittarius would make more sense. She has a love for new adventures and exploration (prob why she snoops into places where she doesn't belong smh), and is quite curious. She also has a love for languages and I think it was pretty cute that she offered to tutor Toby in French, it reminded me of someone saying that Sagittarius loves learning different languages and teaching as well. Spencer is also very honest and direct in her communication though she has been known to be very humorous and sarcastic when it's called for. She speaks her mind freely and doesn't care what other people think about her opinions and she loves taking risks like they're a piece of candy or something. Also isn't afraid to call someone out on their bullshit or correct them if she feels the need to do so. She is skilled in verbal combat and isn't afraid to whip out some badass comebacks!
With Spencer out of the way, we have three more main characters to go, so let's get into...
Tumblr media
Emily Fields
“Ruin one of us, ruin all of us.”
Tumblr media
Emily is such a sweetheart omg. I loved how soft she was compared to the other girls even though she saw it as a weakness. I see a lot of myself in her character and she helped me become a little more confident in who I was. She was always in my top three for favorite characters for this show because I could see myself being really close friends with her. She didn't deserve all the trauma she got from Alison constantly toying around with her but I do think it made her somewhat stronger in the end. I am however still a little salty that despite all that, she and Alison still ended up being together but it looks like they might've been in a rocky situation if we go off with what The Perfectionists (what even was that show anyway) told us about the original couples of PLL.
I was so sad when Wayne died. RIP. He was such a great father figure for her and I liked that he was accepting of her. Her mom on the other hand was a mess for a while but I think she became better as the seasons went on too.
Emily and Maya were the sweetest couple and I was so sad when we got the news that Maya died. I feel like they were truly soulmates and even though Emily found other girls, I don't think she ever loved anyone as much as she loved Maya. Except maybe Alison.
I wish we got more of Emily dancing or doing more activities besides just swimming. It didn't make sense to me that she was the "jock" character but the only thing she really did was swim and that was about it. I could see Emmy doing soccer or tennis imo.
Pisces Sun
Tumblr media
Emily is shy and soft-spoken and she almost reminds me of a mermaid which is really funny since she's known for being the swimmer of the group. She's very romantic, compassionate, friendly, artistic, and intensely empathetic which is why her being a Pisces sun fits the bill perfectly. A kind and gentle soul, I think her soft disposition is very valuable to the Liars and she is often there to provide emotional or moral support when the girls need it. She's also the most likely of them to cry if she saw a cute animal or something that reminded her of her childhood. I know that's sort of specific but still it's true. She also loves to dance and is pretty good at it imo (even though no one knew until that fateful episode with Hanna's pageant training...).
Taurus Moon
Tumblr media
Emily's emotions are honestly very stable and fixed; and when she is in partnerships she is able to stick to them (usually). She loves connections and is able to charm anyone she sets her eyes on. Em is very trustworthy and loyal to her loved ones and honestly has very good taste when it comes to style and decoration. She is very persistent and determined with anything she takes on and doesn't appear to have a lot of patience for flaky, or people who create a lot of drama in her life. She is almost always very patient with her friends, family, as well as herself and I think that's a very admirable quality to have. I think the Liars needed her because she can be very dependable and loyal. Taurus moons can also be more responsive than active and that's sometimes why they can come off as passive or immovable.
Emily's ascendant is...
Cancer Rising
Tumblr media
I gave her a Cancer rising because Emily's aura is so soft and angelic and she gives the best hugs. If PLL was a supernatural drama, I think Emily would definitely have healing powers or be a literal angel with how sweet she is. Everyone always views Emily as the weakest link or the least likely to do any harm to anyone and I think that's because she has such a soft disposition to the point where people think she's a pushover. As a Cancer rising she sometimes takes things personal and does have a bit of a mean streak but I think her Taurus moon helps keep her grounded most of the time when it comes to her emotions. I see Emily as very supportive and tenacious, the girl's been through a lot and she still shines as brightly as she did in the first few episodes of PLL. Also her skin sometimes appears to be moon-kissed and she looks so good in silvers and blues so that's another reason why I gave her a Cancer ascendant.
Woo, that was a doozy. Stealing the show is...
Tumblr media
Hanna Marin
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool my best friend, you're dead freakin' meat."
Tumblr media
Hanna Banana is also another character that is very near and dear to my heart. I appreciated her character so much and I'm glad she wasn't just a "dumb blonde" like some characters thought she was. She was actually very smart and if Spencer wasn't the brainiac of the group I think Hanna would've at least been runner-up. I have so much in common with Hanna's character and I appreciate her so much - she's definitely one of the most memorable characters on the show and I also think she had some of the best lines. From saying, "Please, Jenna can't hear us, she's blind," to "Read her boobs, the girl loves Christmas." She's always cracked me up and I think she's so entertaining to watch. I also loved her character development throughout the seasons but got a little disappointed with the Caleb x Hanna x Spencer triangle that happened in the later season and it kind of annoyed me.
Hanna and Caleb are my favorite couple in the series although I really liked Spencer and Caleb too. I was torn apart with that whole love triangle storyline and it broke me. I like that Hanna decided to become a fashion designer. I guess her love for shoes, pretty dresses and fashion really paid off lmao. A part of me kind of wonders what kind of couple Hanna and Lucas would've been although I really loved their friendship, too.
Leo Sun
Tumblr media
Hanna is definitely a fire sign through and through, and I almost gave her Sagittarius because her actress, Ashley Benson is one, but I think Hanna's personality and overall character fits a Leo more than anything. She definitely has a very bright and sunny disposition and radiates a confident aura to those she is around. Hanna loves shopping and she loves sparklies; good shoes, pretty dresses, eye-catching jewelry that reflects the bold, charismatic and fierce personality she has. It's no reason why she was known as the popular queen bee of the school after Alison's disappearance. Leo suns love to be admired and they bask in the compliments when they look and feel good. On the negative side they can be very self-absorbed or narcissistic and Hanna's definitely had her moments. While she is usually confident and well put together, Hanna is a soft and sensitive person deep down and can have some insecurity issues. I also believe that past Hanna (when Alison was still around) embodied a undeveloped Leo sun and after Alison she started gradually shifting into a more developed Leo sun and I think that's made more evident when Caleb rolled around.
Hanna's moon sign is...
Cancer Moon
Tumblr media
This is so generalized and cliche but since Hanna has a beautiful, unbreakable bond with her mother and I wholeheartedly believe Hanna would do anything for her mother, just as Ashley (her mom) has shown that she'd do anything for her. Hanna cares a lot about her loved ones and seems to turn into this bright ball of sunshine whenever she is around them. I think she's an amazing friend to have and anyone that knows her is very lucky to have her. As a lunar Cancer she can be a little moody and sometimes snaps at people when she feels overwhelmed, but on the other side she can be very empathetic and has a reliable intuition or "gut feeling" which has helped her on multiple occasions. In relationships and friendships she can lean towards being maternal and sometimes unintentionally smothers the people she's closest to. I think Hanna is generally very sweet and her helping Caleb come into his own was a very beautiful story and really spoke to her character. She also has a strong lifeline to her past, like all Cancer placements, and her past often haunted her - but I think talking about it with Dr. Sullivan really helped her get over a lot of things that happened with Alison.
Aries Ascendant
Tumblr media
Hanna has always given me Aries vibes. She sometimes acts before she thoroughly thinks things through and that's definitely gotten her into a lot of trouble. Like any other fire placement, her temper can go from zero to one hundred pretty quickly and it can be scary when she's mad. It's often hard for Hanna to sit still or contain her emotions; it's usually written all over her face. She's always moving around and if others get left in the dust, that's their problem. Part of the reason why she worked so well with Caleb was because they balanced each other out. He was more calm and a little more rational and always had to talk her out of being rash or talk her out of doing something completely stupid due to her emotions being high. I think she's also pretty clumsy and her bumping into people (and sometimes impulsively kissing them lmao) or things a lot is an Aries or Mars conjunct ascendant type motif for me. I think her and Spencer sometimes butt heads because of the sun - rising connection and them being a little too similar in that way.
And now for the OG queen bee herself. We'll be analyzing...
Tumblr media
Alison DiLaurentis
"It's immortality, my darlings."
Tumblr media
Alison, Alison, Alison. She was such a problematic character but I loved her in the flashbacks. I think when she came back her character and charm really started declining and it's kinda sad. But nonetheless, Alison was obviously the big talk of the show for a reason. She was the kind of person you loved to hate or hated that you loved her and I think Sasha Pieterse really slayed her role. Alison had everyone in the town wrapped around her little finger and it took the girls quite a while to get away from her grip. I think Alison would definitely destroy Regina George in a battle and probably some other popular mean girls too. I enjoyed watching PLL because I was so obsessed with finding out what happened to Alison, and when we finally found her and got to know what really happened that night I started sympathizing with her character. I think deep down, she was probably a very sweet person but over time became corrupted and tucked her soft side away where no one would ever find it because all of the trauma and terrible situations she went through. This is probably gonna be a longer analyzation, we'll see.
Alison and Emily were not my favorite couple at all but I appreciated how Emily was a very evident soft spot for her and it showed a bit of her emotional, human side. I think Mona and Alison would've made pretty good friends if they didn't get off to such a rocky start. They're honestly so much alike and I feel like if Alison wasn't such a bitch to Mona in the beginning she would've had no reason to run away from Rosewood in the beginning like girl.
I don't really think Alison had one decent romantic interest besides that one cop that everyone forgot about. And I guess Emily.
Scorpio Sun
Tumblr media
Being a water sign, Scorpios can be very intense and have a magnetic aura around them as well. Everyone either wanted to be with Alison or be Alison herself. Despite Alison always being the center of attention and the apple of everyone's eye, no one really knew that much about her, not even her friends. Scorpios are known to be extremely private, or even secretive about what they truly think or feel. A developed Scorpio can be known to be creative, healing, transformational, loyal, determined, intimate, and overall very passionate in everything that they put their mind to. Alison spent most of her teenage years being an underdeveloped Scorpio; constantly manipulating and cruelly criticizing people, even her friends. She also had a very sharp tongue and wasn't afraid to bring out her claws.
She knew everyone's secrets and had no problem using those secrets against them and boy did she do a hell of a lot of blackmailing. Alison was very vindictive and quite destructive as well, and I believe she had what could only be called the opposite of a Midas touch; everything she touched always became cold and she would often suck the life out of the people closest to her so she could feel better about herself. She only became more developed as the seasons went on, and I'm sure in a world where Marlene King didn't write that horrible storyline between Ali and Emi we would've seen more of that character development from Alison.
Capricorn Moon
Tumblr media
I've put a lot of thought into this and I think Alison may or may not be a Capricorn moon. With all the trauma and obstacles she had to endure, she always found a way to get right back up and try, try again. She strove to be successful in everything that she tried to do with her life and actually acquired a mass amount of wisdom from all of her experiences which I think would've made her a great counselor if they had went that route with her instead of just making her a teacher. Having the moon in detriment, where Cancer is one of the most sensitive and responsive, Capricorn is usually more controlled, disciplined, and strategic. Sometimes they can even be unemotional, and it often looks like Alison turned her humanity off like the vampires do in The Vampire Diaries. Dry humor and sarcasm are often the go-to deflection mechanism for Capricorn moons when they are dealing with uncomfortable feelings from themselves or other people.
Alison was a bit of a pessimist and often slipped into moods where she was very hard on herself and felt like she was stuck or had to be the person everyone remembered her to be. But I think Emily (and her friends, but especially her) was the light at the end of the tunnel for Alison with how nurturing and patient she was. Emily might've gotten mad at Alison and there were times where she couldn't deal with her anymore but I don't think Emily ever gave up on Alison and that probably meant a lot to her as a Cap moon and I think their relationship was a good example of a Capricorn-Cancer connection. Also put Capricorn moon because of Alison's mother being very strict and not very nurturing at all - often a very karmic connection.
Aquarius Rising
Tumblr media
Aquarius risings are known for being unique, intellectual, individualistic and having a "freaky" or weird personal quality about them that just makes them stand out. Ali definitely had a thing for books and seemed to be very knowledgeable even though it appeared she never cared that much for school. Aquarius placements are unapologetic for the way that they are and are confident in themselves. Cliché, but where the crowd goes left, Aquarius risings go right - they walk to the beat of their own drum and some of them might even have a god complex. As a fixed air sign ruled by Saturn, they can be aloof like Aquarius moons and self-righteous like some Aquarius suns. Alison had a very hard time admitting when she was wrong and having a predominantly fixed chart she was also very stubborn and controlling as well. On a lighter note, Alison did always constantly show up her friends and Aquarius risings are known for being committed to community and being humanitarians - but only to the people that they choose. Even while she had been on the run from Mona, she came back to Rosewood to see her friends and even save them on multiple occasions. It seemed to everyone that Alison didn't have a heart, but I think her friends eventually brought out the warm and caring person she actually was deep down.

CHAPTER 4
The last trek towards Greymoon is completed in silence, injured soldiers clutching their shoulders and minor wounds, while others stay on high alert. The 99th legion leads the way at the front and flanks your back in case there’s another ambush. Though it is an unlikely event, according to Sergeant Hunter; him and Hardcase scouted the area ahead minutes ago and made sure there were no threats waiting for you. After forty tense minutes in the woods, Greymoon finally comes to view, and everyone lets out a collective breath of relief. You made it, not as a peacefully as you hoped, but you made it nonetheless, and the people of Liana are one step closer to receiving aid.
Greymoon is a picturesque village surrounded by flowers and quaint houses left and right –something one wouldn’t think of when hearing the villages’ name. You can see a big building in the middle of the village; it has a dome-like ceiling in the middle and two towers on each side resembling a chapel. In the distance, alongside the main cobblestone road leading up to the chapel you catch a glimpse of a school, a street market, and an eatery, each with a different paint colour covering their building and front door. There are pines and bushes with orange and red leaves around the main gates, dandelions and green grass growing between the stones of pillars that support the gates. The sun is starting to rise in the distance, making the flowers bloom, as if welcoming all of you to town after your long journey. It makes the village look even more comforting for all of you.
“It's so colourful,” You mention with a smile, the various plants by the gates reminding you of your garden back home.
“It is only called Greymoon because of the way the moon looks in the winter. The fog and cold makes it look grey, not white.” The knight walking next to your horse speaks up suddenly after catching your words. It’s Tech from the 99th legion. “It’s a common question among visitors.”
“Well, that is good to know. Thank you, Sir Tech.” You chuckle; when the knight offers you a nod, you decide to ask him another question. “How long have the four of you been here in Greymoon?”
“1830 days, your Highness.” He tells you, removing his helmet and staring ahead in concentration. “Therefore around 5 years since we volunteered to be protectors.”
“Oh, then it’s like the 412th legion and the 5–” You begin until Tech turns and nods his head in agreement.
“The 501st, yes.” Tech says, meeting your eyes for the first time. He wears glasses and behind them are a pair of brown eyes that gaze away from you after a second in favour of looking ahead. “Led by captain Rex, your protector.”
Your breath catches in your throat, and you sputter out a response, words tumbling over each other.  You hear Nathalia giggling next to you. “M-my protec- protector?”
“Why yes.” The knight asserts, “The 501st is the princess’ legion, is it not? For your protection. Thus, the captain is your protector.”
You let out a deep breath discreetly and nod your head calmly. “Certainly. I trust him with my life.”
You’re about to speak up again when another voice does so first. “Your highness, welcome to Greymoon! We are so happy you’re here.”
Right at the gates there’s a short, white-haired man; he’s dressed in beige pants, white collared shirt, and a brown pinstripe vest. He smiles widely as he sees you and the 501st arrive, opening his arms as he says Welcome! to the soldiers surrounding your horse. Sir Hardcase gets off his horse and offers his hand to you so you can dismount yours; he does the same with Nathalia who, along with Lieutenant Echo, joins you by your side as you approach the Major.
“Mister Major.” You say with a smile, and hold out your hand in greeting. The Major shakes it enthusiastically and inclines his head as he says hello. “Thank you for sending the 99th legion to our aid.”
“Please call me Mr. Hugh.” He smiles back, the wrinkles by his eyes becoming more prominent as his mouth pushes his cheeks upwards. “No need to thank me, your Highness, it’s us that should apologize for not scouting the river prior to your arrival.”
You shake your head. “That’s alright, Mr. Hugh. Allow me to introduce Lieutenant Echo, and Miss Nathalia.”
The three of them exchange greetings, and you introduce the rest of the 501st accompanying you before the voices of several children interrupt you. Princess! Princess! Young boys and girls exclaim as they run towards the gates, many of them still in their sleep garments. You kneel closer to the ground, holding out your hand to greet each one of them.
“Good morning.” You smile, chuckling as they scramble to curtesy and incline their head in greeting.
Their words jumble together as they talk over each other, their eyes shining with excitement, and their toothy grins melting your heart. You’re so pretty! Your horse is amazing! What’s his name! Your dress is so beautiful! You have a sword! I didn’t know princesses could have swords. You smile bashfully at their words, heart doubling its size inside your chest as you do. You’re certain you look closer to a mess than beautiful after the fight with the pirates, but their kind words feel much like a warm hug. You try to answer their questions as best as you can before their parents call them back to their side and you rise to your feet.
“Now,” Major Hugh speaks up as soon as the children leave, clapping his hands in front of him. “The knights you sent ahead mentioned you need supplies, your Highness. Am I correct in assuming they are for the people of Liana?”
“You’re correct.” You tell him with a nod. “We have a list of things we’d like to purchase from you. We leave for Liana tomorrow morning.”
“Very well,” Hugh agrees. “Though, I must reject your gold, Princess. Think of our supplies as a donation to our neighbours in need. I’ve already spread the word around Greymoon and everyone is already gathering donations of their own for Liana.”
The smile that comes to your face hurts your cheeks; Khalmians are so generous. “That is very kind of you Mr. Hugh. Thank you.”
“It is very kind, thank you Mr. Major.” Sir Echo nods his head in thanks, then motions towards you with his hand. “If it’s alright with you, might we have an hour to get settled down and tend to our wounded? Her Highness included.”
“Of course!” The Major hurries to say, looking distraught as gazes towards the bloodied bandage on your hand. “I’ll show you to the Inn where you’ll be staying; we can meet again at the dining hall for breakfast and continue our conversation then.”
“Perfect.” You smile at him; just then, your hand starts to ache again as a reminder that you need to rest no matter how short the time.
“We’ll be ready when you need us, your Highness.” Sergeant Hunter speaks up from where he’s settled by one of your carriages. “Wrecker here can help the 501st load the carriages.” He gives his fellow knight a pat on the back.
“That’d be much appreciated. Thank you, Sergeant.” You nod your head before Sir Echo does so as well, offering his own thanks.
Nathalia grabs your uninjured hand and all but drags you behind her as she follows the Major to the Inn and your assigned room. Sir Hardcase and Sir Kix trail behind both of you with your luggage and medical supplies respectively. The Inn is a tall building with 5 floors; its wooden structure is made from oak that’s been stained dark enough to look almost black. Though its interior is as dark as the outside and illuminated only by certain oil lamps hanging from the ceiling, it manages to be welcoming. There are enough windows to provide clarity, and both the hallways and staircases are covered by a long turquoise rug that provides a much-needed pop of colour. Your assigned room ends up being on the 5th floor, a large suite with two beds –one for you and one for Nathalia– an adjacent bathing chamber and a large window with white curtains that match the embroidered bedding. The Major points to the room from the end of the hallway and bids all of you farewell until breakfast in an hour. You thank him before Nathalia urges you into the room to sit down on the bed.
The next ten minutes are a blur. Nathalia helps you out of your chainmail and boots as soon as you sit down, while Sir Kix brings a small bowl with water from the bathing chamber to clean and tend to your newest cut. Pushing your sleeve upwards until it settles on your elbow, you offer your hand to Sir Kix. He is quick to apologize, as he always does, before he takes off the bandage you’d been wearing. He cleans your wound with a wet gauze and a stinging clear liquid that makes you hiss in pain.
“The good thing, is that you don’t need stitches.”  He tells you once the pain fades and he begins to cover the wound with a healing ointment and a new bandage. “That would have been more painful.”
You hear Sir Hardcase chuckle as he waits by the closed door. “The good thing is she still has her hand, Kix.”
Nathalia grimaces and shakes her head. “Not a nice picture, Hardcase.”
The knight laughs and moves away from the door as Sir Kix packs up his supplies in a hurry, anxious to help his fellow soldiers who also sustained injuries.
“Thank you, Sir Kix. Thank you too, Sir Hardcase.” You smile gratefully at them. “I’ll see you in an hour in the dining hall.”
“No need to thank us, your Highness. Always happy to help.” Sir Kix shakes his head before inclining it in farewell.
“See you later, Princess. You too, Miss Nathalia.” Sir Hardcase follows the medic after he waves his hand goodbye at the two of you.
“Here, your Highness.” Nathalia says, shoving a bowl full of seasonal fruit in your hands as soon as the door is closed and locked. “Eat something while I sort out this mess.”
She points to your hair with a shake of her head, and it makes a laugh escape you. “I’m sure it’s fine.”
“Oh no, it’s a disaster.” Your friend tells you in all seriousness.
You shrug and pick a delicious looking apricot from the bowl before setting the rest aside. The fruit is juicy and sweet, and you feel better by the third bite. Its sweetness comforting you enough to not feel at the brink of exhaustion anymore. Nathalia works on your hair silently, undoing braids and pushing all your hair up in a ponytail. She then proceeds to braid different strands of hair and wrap them around intricately into a bun. When she’s done, she moves towards the closet and takes out a new dress —a beautiful one in a light blue color with silver, gold and pale pink rhinestones embroidered along the neckline, sleeves, and hem— that is surprisingly free of wrinkles.  She must have unpacked it while Sir Kix cleaned your cut.
You open your mouth to ask her how that’s even possible after it being in your luggage for a day, but she smiles proudly and cuts you off. “It’s a secret, your Highness.”
You laugh and shake your head, standing up and walking towards the bathing chamber where Nathalia helps you out of your dress and into a new one. The bathing chamber is vastly different from the main room as its floors and walls are covered in white marble; the white stone has gold and brown veins running along it, matching the porcelain bathtub in the middle of the room. Nathalia ties the back of your dress, cinching it at the waist and securing the ribbon with a final knot at the top, between your shoulder blades. With no chainmail to hide your dress this time, you run your hands over the bodice and feel the small rhinestones that decorate it. It seems silly in your mind, but the dress brings you much needed comfort after the turbulent journey you’ve had so far; it reminds you of who you are, the person you’ve grown to become. Not a princess, no, but a capable woman who's taking the reins of the Kingdom for this one time –hopefully it’s not the last. Turning around and stepping towards the mirror, you look at your reflection and smile when you catch Nathalia’s eyes.
“Thank you, Nat.” You smile softly at her. “You were right, I was a disaster.”
“If I’d known you would hurt yourself again, I would have packed a long-sleeved dress to hide that bandage.” She chuckles, pointing at your hand. “But you’re welcome, your Highness.”
“You should change too, Nat.” You tell her as you step away from the bathing chamber and towards the bedroom. “That way, you can rest for a while. I sense we have a long day ahead of us.”
Nathalia nods and closes the door dividing the room and the bathing chamber for privacy; you make your way towards the bed. You can’t help the sigh that leaves you when you lie down, your head hitting the soft pillow and body settling on the comfortable mattress. Not a moment later you fall asleep, then proceed to wake up what feels like two seconds later to someone knocking on the door.
“What?!” Nathalia sits up with a gasp, having fallen asleep on the other bed beside yours.
You laugh as you sit up to go open the door, “Just a moment please!”
Nathalia, however, rushes to the door before you can, stopping short when she opens it. “Sir Echo, h-hello.” She greets him, flustered?
Why would Nathalia be flustered? You wonder, before shrugging it off as Sir Echo speaks up and you walk towards the door.
“Miss Nathalia, your Highness.” The lieutenant nods at each of you then motions towards the hall. “I was making sure the two of you were ready to meet with the Major again.”
“Oh no, what time is it?” You ask worried, hurrying to slip on your boots again; you have no time to look for your other shoes. Besides, your dress is long enough to cover them well so no one will be able to see them.
“We have ten minutes until the agreed time.” Sir Echo says and when Nathalia sighs with relief he chuckles. “No rush, the dining hall is right here at the Inn.”
You shake your head and look at Nathalia, “You’re ready to go? I can’t believe we fell asleep.”
“Lead the way your highness.” She smiles, following you after she closes and locks the bedroom door.
Three pair of footsteps can be heard faintly on the dark carpet before Nathalia breaks the silence with a question. “Sir Echo, might I ask you something?”
“Of course.” He glances her way as the three of you begin to descend the staircase towards the first floor.
“What do you make of the 99th legion?” Nathalia asks, curiosity in her hushed tone. You don’t miss the glance she sends your way.
“I have heard of them but never met them.” Sir Echo says after mulling over your friend’s words. “I talked to them shortly after arriving and they seem like cunning warriors. Honorable too.  Everyone in town feels safe with them here.”
“Just like we feel safe with the 501st, Echo.” You add with a smile as Sir Echo motions for both of you to lead the way to the dining hall.
“I’m very glad, your Highness.” The lieutenant offers you a nod, the three of you turning a corner on the first floor.
“Do you still have the list of supplies we’re going to need?” You ask him over your shoulder.
“I do,” Sir Echo opens a small pouch on his belt and takes out a folded piece of paper that he hands to you. “I’m sure the Major will make sure we find every item on the list.”
You’re about to speak up again when the three of you make it to the main entrance of the dining hall; it’s a big space with walls and floors made from black stained oak like the rest of the Inn. There’s a big round table in the middle, and two long tables with various foods on display to the sides of the room. Boiled eggs, three kinds of bread, an assortment of pastries and many fruits are presented in silver platters to choose from. There are also cheeses and cold cuts of meat next to some grilled vegetables, ale, tea and coffee. You walk through the door with your two friends in tow and feel your face burn when everyone rises from their seats despite your protest.
“Please, it’s fine. No need to stand.”  You assure the knights and the Major with a smile, holding both of your hands in front of you.
The Major shakes his head and laughs. “Nonsense! We were expecting you. Please grab some breakfast and join us, there’s plenty for everyone.”
You nod your head in thanks and approach him to shake his hand. “Mr. Hugh thank you for your hospitality and generosity. You’ve offered a very comfortable room, and I’m sure the 501st is more than happy with the food you’ve provided.”
“There are no thanks needed, your Highness.” He dismisses your words with another wave of his hand. “Now please, help yourselves before we begin. I imagine you and your crew need a good meal after the tumultuous trip you’ve had.”
The pace of the day picks up after breakfast, when you’re shown around town while gathering the supplies Liana is in need for. Right outside of the Inn, the road splits into two smaller walkways. They round the chapel and meet towards the back of it, snaking around the village until it reaches the villagers’ cottages and farms. Major Hugh leads the way followed by Nathalia and yourself. Behind you, Sir Echo talks to Sergeant Hunter as him and the rest of his legion accompany you on your journey across the village.
You can’t help your smile as you walk around Greymoon’s streets; their village is a colourful wonder of pastel storefronts and hand-painted murals. Everywhere you go, you get yet further proof of the village’s hospitality and easygoing nature. There are lovely stores, some displaying clothes, others displaying antiques and you can’t help yourself from stopping by each one. Not to get anything for yourself though, you merely peruse their beautiful goods and compliment the owners on their job. Maybe one day, in the future, you’ll come back to the dressmaker’s shop and indulge her into making the dress she tried to convince you to get. You come across a lovely small street market that’s been set up by a bookshop with a yellow front door. There are several stands selling various goods –jewelry, paintings, accessories, and pastries are on display for anyone who passes by to see. You greet the vendors, who are more than happy to show you the goods of their own making.
“Made all of these myself!” A dark-haired woman named Laura tells you proudly; she owns a knitwear stand. “Please, your Highness, take whichever scarf you’d like. Winter’s coming and any of these would look lovely on you.”
Her eyes shine with excitement, and you can see how proud she is of her handiwork. Thus, not wanting to insult her by refusing her kind offer, you nod your head and smile at her. “Alright, Laura. If you insist, I’ll take whichever one you like best.”
She laughs in delight and nods her head enthusiastically. “Of course, Princess. This one would look lovely on you.”
Laura hands you a deep burgundy scarf, it has with pink and gold details resembling a bed of roses. Flowers, perfect. You smile and clutch the scarf to your chest. “I love it and shall wear it all through winter.”
“I’m honoured, your Highness.” She offers you her hand which you shake. “Thank you for stopping by.”
“Thank you, Laura.” You say as you let go of her hand, knowing you need to keep going towards your next stop. “Have a lovely day.”
The next stop turns into another, and another, until sunset comes, and you’ve crossed out all the items on the list. Both carriages you brought from the palace are loaded with the help of the 501st and Sir Wrecker from the 99th legion and put in one of Greymoon’s stables. Sir Echo then stations five of his men to keep guard of the supplies despite the Major and Sergeant Hunter’s reassurances to him that it’s not necessary. Echo became lieutenant under Rex’s tutelage though, so just like your captain, he’s not one to leave anything to chance. The thought brings a wave of emotion straight towards your chest that you push away until later –there is not time to deal with it right now. Crosshair from the 99th legion stays behind as well, his bow and arrows ready should he need them. You hope it won’t come to that though, the first part of your journey was arduous enough, the last thing you need is an ambush or more trouble.
You’re just finishing talking to the knights who are staying at the stables, letting them know you’ll send dinner their way in a moment when someone clears their throat behind you.
“Your Highness.” Sergeant Hunter inclines his head briefly in greeting. “If you’d like more protection in your journey to Liana, my squad would be more than happy to join the 501st.”
“That is very kind of you.” You smile, moved by his offering. However, you know that taking him and his squad away from Greymoon would be a mistake. So you tell him them the same thing you told Rex before the mission. “But they need you here, Sergeant. With the way things are, it is important that the people of Greymoon are well protected.”
The Sergeant nods, looking back at his team that continues to talk animatedly with the knights from the palace. “I guess you’re right.” He says after a pause, his eyes going back to yours. “We’ll be here if you need us though, your Highness. You can count on us.”
“I’m sure I can, Sergeant.” You nod.
You feel someone tap your shoulder and turn to find Nathalia waiting to speak to you. “The Major is expecting us in the meeting hall, your Highness, they’ve served dinner already.”
“Here, I’ll show you to the meeting hall.” The Sergeant speaks up before leading the way, his back towards both of you. “It’s not far.”
The walk towards the meeting hall is relatively short, only a couple of blocks from the stables and next to the chapel in the middle of the village. It is a two-story building made from concrete, with floor-to-ceiling wooden doors that are already open when you arrive. Inside, there are three long wooden tables in the middle of the room with various dishes displayed in silverware; the people of Greymoon talk animatedly across each table, waiting for the moment they can start feasting on the food. Towards the back of the room there’s a big chimney where a large fire has been lit to warm up the room in the cold night. Major Hugh sits in the middle table and stands when he spots you, Nathalia, his own legion, and the 501st arrive. Everyone follows his lead and stands too, smiling and greeting you again as you pass by.
“We’ve prepared a delicious feast for you and your knights, your Highness.” Mr. Hugh tells you, gesturing towards the food that’s been placed on each table. “Help yourselves, please.”
“Thank you, Mr. Hugh.” You smile, full of gratefulness. “Might we have some of it sent to the knights who stayed behind in the stables?”
“Why of course.” He reassures you quickly, motioning towards two men to approach the table. They greet you when they step closer, smiling amiably. “Joseph, Michael, would you mind taking some food to the men guarding the stables? Some ale as well.”
“Certainly Mr. Hugh.” One of the men, Joseph, nods before he leaves with his friend towards the table next to yours; they gather plates, utensils and food with the help of another gentleman before they make their way out of the hall.
“Now, your Highness.” The Major says, settling down on his seat. “It’s been a long day, you should sit and enjoy dinner.”
Nathalia smiles at the Major. “I must say I agree with you Mr. Hugh.”
You hold back an eye-roll –a fond one– towards Nathalia and nod. You know her care, and that of Sir Echo, during this trip has doubled in its intensity most likely as a result of Rex’s emphasis on it. You wonder when he spoke to them both; you’ll have to ask him when you’re able. Who knows when that’ll be. With a shake of your head, you wipe off the frown that wants to settle on your face and sit down, looking at Greymoon’s local food with a newly opened appetite.
There are three kinds of roasted meats in front of you, and various side dishes and finger foods. Some of them you recognize from the palace, being Khalmian staples for every meal, but others are intricate savory pastries. There are small pockets of fried dough, that after cutting them in half you discovered have either cheese or a mixture of spices and vegetables inside. There’s a green leaves salad with edible flowers, walnuts and a dark but sweet dressing. Next there’s a big bowl of rice that’s been mixed with sweet corn and cheese, giving it a soft and almost creamy texture. Lastly, there’s a long silver tray full of miniature desserts of which Nathalia takes about three of each. There are bite-sized chocolate cakes, fruit tarts, pistachio and chocolate madeleines, and apricot ice cream that everyone grabs a helping of despite the chilly weather of the night.
The copious amount of food disappears after an hour with lively conversation and laughter in between bites. Your heart soars at the sight of all the knights enjoying themselves despite their bandages and cuts they brandish on their faces and hands. It’s a merry sight, one you haven’t seen often as it is only the third time you’ve shared a meal with so many of the 501st. The Queen will certainly object, but nevertheless you’ll invite them to dine with you when you’re back at the palace. Rex will be ecstatic when he hears your idea. As the food disappears and conversations are had, the loud chatter of the meeting hall slowly turns into a low hum. The satisfying meal makes way for drowsiness to kick in, and you find yourself pressing your lips together to hold back a yawn.
Thus, knowing your fellow companions must be all the more tired than yourself, you thank the Major and bid him goodnight. After all, everyone has a big day ahead of them in the morning.
“It was a lovely day, and an even lovelier evening, Mr. Hugh.” You smile warmly at him as everyone rises from the tables and begin to walk out of the meeting hall.
“I’m glad it was to your liking, your Highness.” The Major presses a hand to his chest. “It truly means the world to us that you’ve visited us.”
“Then I hope you’re okay with me returning in the future.” You tell him with a hand on his shoulder. “Have a good night.”
“Your Highness.” The Major inclines his head once more before leaving the hall as well.
Sir Echo and Nathalia are back by your side a moment later. “We will reach Liana by early afternoon, tomorrow.” The Lieutenant says.
You nod, pleased that things are going just as planned. “Right on schedule then. You should get some rest Sir Echo; you’ve worked very hard today.”
“You need some sleep too, your Highness.” Nathalia says as she links her arm with yours. She smiles at Sir Echo so briefly you almost miss it, though the red tint to her cheeks remains as evidence that the smile did in fact happen. “Goodnight, Lieutenant. We’ll see you in the morning.”
“Until morning then.” Sir Echo tells you, though you don’t get to say anything in return as Nathalia whisks you off towards the Inn with hurried steps.
✧☆★✧☆★
“You’ve made all the village fall in love with you.” Nathalia says happily, helping you loosen your braids and ponytail after you’re done taking a short bath. Refreshed and comfortable in your sleeping gown, you can feel the exhaustion of the day makes an appearance with a heaviness to your body.
You chuckle softly and shake your head. “That’s not true, Nat. Everyone was just happy to help Liana, and I was getting to know them.”
“And that is my point, your Highness.” Nathalia insists, brushing your hair with a wide-tooth comb and twisting it into a simple braid for you to sleep in. “Not many people get to know the villages in their kingdom, but you did. You cared because you are kind and gentle with everyone and it is that what won their hearts.”
You look away and shrug your shoulder, it seems like such a simple thing to you, and it causes a subdued sort of pain to surface on your chest. The bare minimum shouldn’t be surprising or ground-breaking to this village, but sadly it is and the only thing you can do is begin to break this habit the moment you’re back at the palace. For now, your priority is Liana and finishing the mission. “Of course, I care about them. I hope I can get to visit and know all the villages around us when the war with the pirates is over.”
“And we can’t forget to mention your beauty, your Highness, yet another reason for them to fall in love.” Nathalia smiles as she ties up the braid with a ribbon at the bottom. “I saw Sergeant Hunter’s eyes never leaving you.”
Despite Nathalia mentioning the Sergeant, your mind goes to Rex. It makes a smile appear on your face as you look down at your lap. Flashes of all the instances you’ve caught him looking at you from afar come to mind; he’d been so flustered at the beginning. But now his demeanour is entirely different. Now he looks at you openly when it’s just the two of you, not a bit of bashfulness in sight. “The Sergeant wasn’t looking at me.” You shake your head, sending a look at Nathalia in the mirror. “If he did, then it was only because he doesn’t know my heart’s already spoken for.”
“I’m sure Sir Echo will tell him something along those lines without giving you and captain Rex away.” Nathalia chuckles and steps away from your chair, moving to blow out some of the candles lit around the room. There’s a full moon outside, and its white glow is enough to keep the room illuminated.
You smile as you stand; Nathalia just handed you the perfect opportunity to tease her right back. “Speaking of Lieutenant Echo…”
Nathalia pauses her steps towards the candelabra by the window and glances at you over her shoulder. You wiggle your eyebrows at her and smile teasingly as she turns a deep shade of red. “I saw that smile earlier tonight, and you’re so flustered around him. I don’t know how I’ve never noticed how smitten you’re with him!”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about your Highness.” Nathalia looks away with a shrug, then looks back at you out of the corner of her eye. She knows you’re not fooled by her dismissal.
You merely raise an eyebrow, a knowing smile on your face. She teased you so much when you were falling for Rex. Thus, now as her best friend, it is only fair that you do the same.
“Alright, I like Sir Echo.” She confesses, fighting back a smile. “A lot. More than a lot.”
“So, a lot-a lot.” You smile widely at her, sitting on your bed as delight shoves whatever sleepiness you were feeling away for a moment. Your heart feels like it’s bursting as you observe Nat looking so bashful, so happy. “Have you talked to him? Casual conversation? Anything?”
She frowns. “No, I get too nervous.”
You smile, maybe you’ll talk to Sir Echo….
“You should! Sir Echo is very approachable, so you have nothing to be worried about.” You reassure her, hoping she’ll take the leap. Perhaps this is the beginning of her own fairy-tale, the thought alone makes your smile widen.
Nathalia is quick to shake her head, and you frown. “He’s one to follow rules your Highness. I doubt talking to me about his day is part of protocol.”
“Nathalia.” You raise your eyebrow at her again. “There’s no one stricter about protocol than Rex and he kissed me like he couldn’t bear not to, 2 days ago!”
When your friend remains looking unsure, you continue. “Sir Echo isn’t even that strict to begin with. I’m sure he’d be more than happy to talk to you.”
“You really think so?” She whispers, hopefulness slowly beginning to shine in her eyes.
“Of course! You’re a ray of sunshine and a delight to be around Nat.”
Nathalia flushes again then looks away shyly. “I guess you’re right. I will try to tomorrow, while we head to Liana.”
“He’ll appreciate your conversation.” You nod your head before you move towards the center of the bed to lie down. “But right now, we need some rest.”
Nathalia nods and remains deep in thought even as she gets on the other bed beside yours. “Thank you, your Highness.”
“That’s what friends are for, Nat” You tell her, getting comfortable on the bed before blowing out the candles on your bedside table. “Sleep well.”

The next day you wake up bright and early to get ready. A deep burgundy dress that you picked out the night before is your attire for the day. It has pale blue and gold details embroidered on the fabric, though most of them get lost under the chainmail blouse that you wear over your dress. Your boots and a pair of black pants hidden underneath your dress complete your look, and soon you’re helping Nathalia and Sir Dogma carry the luggage downstairs and towards the main road where the rest of the 501st awaits. The four carriages stocked full of supplies the night before have been attached to two horses each, with one soldier taking the reins and another flanking the back. As you approach you notice Sir Echo taking inventory of the supplies and counting his men before he lets everyone know you’re ready to leave. Fifteen minutes later, after you’ve said goodbye to the Major, the villagers, and the 99th legion, you put on your helmet and get on your horse.
Greymoon’s gates close as you leave; the colourful village stays behind while your carriages head south, ready to deliver some much-needed aid.
Most of the day is spent on horseback, with only a short break for a meal, for everyone is set on arriving to Liana before sundown to avoid another ambush, if any. This time though, there is no worry or nervous anticipation, not like upon your arrival to Greymoon a day ago. As you did the day before, two riders are sent ahead of you once more to let the Major of Liana know you’re on your way; they were also instructed to scout the area. An unnecessary precaution, but one Sir Echo insisted on despite the terrain you’ll be traversing through. They don’t give you much to worry about this time around, as most of the eastern road towards Liana –the one you’ve selected for the journey– crosses through hills and plains and nothing more. There are no forests or rivers, for attackers to hide in. If an attack were to occur, you’d see it coming in the distance, giving you enough time to react.
Thus, you decide to the enjoy the beautiful journey and take in the breathtaking landscape to your left and right. Midnight trots steadily next to Sir Kix’s horse as you ask him about his medical studies, to give Nathalia the necessary push to converse with the Lieutenant. They talk amiably behind you as Sir Kix recalls anecdotes from his early days as a medic –I wasn’t good under pressure at the beginning, your Highness, he says, it has taken years of practice. You nod and ask him yet another question, and the conversation keeps going for a couple of hours. Then, when the sun slowly begins to advance west, a comforting calmness settles over the group. You’re bordering two mountains that stand next to Green Lake, a majestic body of water –with water so deep-a-blue that it looks a dark green colour. The silence is almost reverent as everyone stares in awe at the nature that surrounds you; the tall mountains, the expansive lake, and the hills full of lavender up ahead. You cross the latter, surrounded by the lilac flowers, until at long last you see the Khalmian sea in the distance and the village you’re on your way to aid, both bathed in orange light.
Liana stands beautifully at the bottom of a hill next to the sea, it’s topography vastly different from the village you just visited. Where Greymoon had its chapel and meeting hall in the middle of their village, Liana –despite being small– has its chapel at the very top of the hill. Its streets and many other buildings expand downhill towards the sea, its streets connected by staircases. In the distance you can see the slender pine trees surrounding the village, as well as bushes and more lavender around its perimeter. Most of the buildings are made of gold-yellow stone and clay, with terracotta roofs and white shutters on their windows. It looks rustic but elegant at the same time, and you’re sure the three colours must stand out beautifully next to the sea when it’s not time for the sun to set. Now, however, in the orange light of the fading afternoon the Khalmian sea looks like it’s turned a shade close to red while Liana looks like it’s burning with the sun –warm, beautiful, and welcoming.
The village greets you with a small celebration as you arrive. There are villagers lining the streets, waving and cheering as you pass, and you take off your helmet to smile at all of them in return. You continue down the main road until you reach the village’s courtyard, where the Major is waiting for you. She’s a woman in her mid-forties with gorgeous brown skin and chestnut coloured hair that’s been pulled up in an intricate updo. The wrinkles around the woman’s eyes deepen as she smiles, and the details of the green dress she wears shines in the orange light of the setting sun. There are tears in her eyes that she dries gently as you get off your horse and approach her.
“Madame Major.” You smile, offering her your hand.
“Thank you, your Highness, for your kind heart.” She pulls you into a hug shortly after shaking your it, her words whispered by your shoulder. The emotion in her voice as she continues to speak makes your throat tighten and your eyes sting with unshed tears. “Thank you for helping us; we are overjoyed and overwhelmed with gratefulness.”
You shake your head and dab at your eyes as you step back and look at her. These lovely people have been through so much; their possessions stolen, many of them injured from attempting to defend what’s theirs. All resulting from the selfishness and cruelty of the pirates who want things the easy way. Those who think these people’s sacrifice and hard work is worth nothing and inconsiderately steal from them. “Don’t thank me, this is the least I could do for all of you. I’m sorry we took this long.”
“The important thing is you’re here your Highness.” She grabs both of your hands in hers and smiles widely, it lights up her face. “Come, the town has been looking forward to your arrival all day.”
The smile you give back is just as big as you nod. “We’ve been excited to arrive and meet all of you.”
“Everyone is impatient to meet you.” She lets one of your hands go as she begins to walk towards the people who line the streets. “And with these supplies we can make a lovely dinner to welcome you.”
You look back a Nathalia who smiles at you and takes the hand you offer as the Major leads you further into the village. The sun sets as you walk around the streets, happily greeting the people of Liana even as your heart feels like it’ll burst from the overwhelming emotion you feel when you see the gratefulness in their eyes. Music begins playing from the meeting hall then, as blue hour strikes and lavender blue haze falls over the joyous town.
At one point a cheerful old lady leads you to the back of the meeting hall, where a large communal kitchen’s been set up and shows you and Nathalia the many goods they’re beginning to prepare for the night. The soldiers from the 501st helping around to place the vegetables and grains you’ve brought from Greymoon inside the pantry. You smile and wave at them as they pass and they smile back, elated with the energy around the town. The soldiers leave after a moment, content with the promise of a delicious meal prepared by the local cooks in the next hour. The same old lady who grabbed your hand earlier gestures for you to join them at a big wooden table.
There are various types of doughs and fillings, as well as breads and vegetables, all ready to be part of the local dishes they wish to show you how to make. So, after washing your hands, you learn how to make local finger food with Nathalia by your side. Most of the dishes are straight forward: rolled dough closed around a feeling and set aside to fry later. The women around the table are more skilled than you though, and you can’t help but laugh at the time it takes you to make a simple snack while they’ve already made close to ten. Still, you relax and listen carefully to their instructions and funny stories from when they started to cook. A sense of warmth and calmness settles over you, and a glance to your right shows you Nathalia is feeling the same way. The two of you smile and continue to work.
Once dinner arrives, the bustling crowd, music and chatter threaten to drown every conversation you begin to have but your smile never falters, you merely raise your voice and lean closer to the person you’re speaking to –the Major in this case. The finger food you helped prepare is passed around as everyone serves some of the dinner into plates and settles on any table to eat. The 501st talk and laugh animatedly with the town and Nathalia engages in easy conversation with Sir Echo next to you.
“The Princess and I made these!” Nathalia’s eyes light up as she spots a platter with the fried dough you struggled with earlier. “Lieutenant you’ve got to try them.”
“Everyone is so cheerful.” You tell the Major as you look around. “And your village is so beautiful, Madame. I’m speechless.”
The Major smiles and takes a sip from her goblet of wine. “They’re people with a strong spirit. Despite everything that happened, they managed to stay uplifted.”
You hum and look around, seeing the sparkle in the eyes of every villager. “That’s beautiful.”
“It’s not an easy thing to do.” The Major continues. “It is so easy to let ourselves be beaten down after something terrible that happens, but sometimes looking at what’s gone right is all it takes to change one’s mood.”
“Well, I certainly need to learn from them.” You chuckle and sip from your own goblet before a little girl approaches your table.
“H–Hi Princess.” She smiles shyly at you, and you instantly smile back.
“Hey baby girl, what’s your name?”
“Anna.” Her cheeks flush as she looks down at her hands. “Would you like to play with us?”
Your heart squeezes, and a quick glance behind her back shows you there are about a dozen children waiting for your answer. “Why, of course I’d love to!”
Anna’s face lights up, her shyness forgotten at your welcoming tone. She quickly grabs your hand. “Let’s go! You can invite your friends if you’d like.”
You laugh softly and rise from the table, calling out to Nathalia and the 501st as you do. “If anyone would like to join us for a game outside, feel free to come!”
Nathalia stands up and follows you, an excited skip to her step, before Hardcase, Echo, Dogma, Mixer, Kix, and Fox follow her lead. Outside, the kids have set up two goal posts and proceed to divide everyone into two teams. The goal? Kick the ball and score a point, the team who scores 5 goals wins. Little Anna ends up in your team and her contagious laugh trails everyone in your team as she follows you while you try to evade your rivals to reach the other goal post. Laughter, screaming and wrestling ensues –though you don’t participate in the latter, instead letting Hardcase and Fox engage in friendly roughhousing every time the other wins– until Sir Echo’s team wins and the kids are called to bed.
Madame Major, amused by the game she just witnessed and reading the exhaustion on both yours and Nathalia’s faces, leads you to the cottage you’ll be staying at. It is a lovely white house with climbing pink hydrangeas on the front. The house itself is two stories tall; it has two bedrooms upstairs and a living room and kitchen on the ground floor. Sir Echo stations three soldiers to protect you and they make themselves comfortable in the living room, lounging on the couch and taking off some of their heavy armour. Your luggage is carried to your room as well as Nathalia’s on the other side of the hallway. There’s an adjacent bathing chamber in each bedroom, with its private door and closet to place your clothes in, as well as a mirror and a small furnace for hot water supply. You thank the knights who carried your luggage upstairs before taking in the room.
It is a rustic chamber with contrasting delicate decorations. There are pale blue curtains framing the floor-to-ceiling window, and floral embroidered blankets and throw pillows on the bed. The bed itself is tall with four posters and a soft mattress, and to its left stands a small balcony overlooking the Khalmian sea illuminated by moonlight. It’s cozy, private, and the prospect of resting after the events of the evening makes you rush to open your luggage and look for your clothes.
You move towards the bathroom after picking out your clothes for the night; the chamber’s colour is the same as the one in the bedroom with golden yellow walls and light blue decorations. A moment later, once you make sure the furnace is working, you fill up the porcelain tub and undress not before taking off the bandage covering your injury. The cold evening air makes your naked body shiver for a few seconds before you step on the tub and sink into the water. A sigh escapes you as your muscles begin to relax and your achy feet thank you for the warm water. Heaven, you think.
Closing your eyes, you lean your head back and begin washing your hair —hissing at the pain in your hand— as you think about the events of the day. There’s deep regret in your heart at not visiting Liana before the attack happened and missing out on all its beautiful and welcoming people. It isn’t something you’re going to miss out on anymore, you decide; you’re more than sure other villages in the kingdom that haven’t been visited by your father in a while either. Though you always look after their best interests you’ve never been to many of them, now you’re determined to travel around Khalmia and listen to the people to provide whatever aid they may need that’s been lost in paperwork or mail. After the war is over, you’ll ask Rex to accompany you so both of you can visit and know more about Khalmia together. You’re certain he’ll be more than happy to and that he will love Liana most of all. Bringing your thoughts back to the village you’re, you feel a smile appear on your face again at the memory of the warm welcome you received. Not to mention the beautiful view of the sea and the delicious food you’d tried. Wouldn’t this village profit from more visitors; you know they had an Inn before the attack and given what you saw today you can only assume the boardwalk was beautiful as well. You haven’t seen the destruction the pirates left behind, but once you do you will ask the Major why Liana hasn’t been a holiday site for the Kingdom.
Wrapping a towel around your hair and drying your body once the soapy water has gone from hot to lukewarm, you get dressed in your night gown, followed by a purple dressing gown you tie around your waist. You brush your teeth in front of the mirror before going back to the bedroom where Nathalia’s already waiting for you in her own nightgown and robe. She looks refreshed and happy.
“You were wonderful with the children, your Highness.” Nat smiles at your reflection once you sit down at the vanity in front of the bed. Your friend helps you dry your hair with your towel before combing through it.
You look down in embarrassment, grabbing some of your nightly pomade and applying it to your face that burns at her words. “They were very amiable don’t you think? There are barely any children in the family, or in the Estates we visit sometimes. It was nice to have that kind of genuine happiness around don’t you think?”
“Yes, it was. Even though we lost to the opposing team –the knights won’t let us forget it.” Nathalia agrees, grabbing her mixture of coconut and argan oil to apply to your hair while you wrap a new bandage around the cut in your hand. “I also think you and Rex will be the best parents when you have children of your own. You are perfect for each other, a good team.”
“We need to get our relationship approved first, Nat.” You smile at her enthusiasm and look away as you go over Natalia’s words.
It’s not something you’ve discussed with Rex, as your relationship doesn’t have any approval yet to make such kinds of plans. But you wonder if your father will share Nathalia’s sentiments towards the two of you. Will he see you as a good team as well, or will he object? You see truth to Nathalia’s words yourself; you and Rex provide each other a perfect kind of balance. He, a man of duty and protocol and strength, and you, an equally strong but more emotional counterpart. He teaches you what you need to face the tough world you live in while you teach him to slow down and enjoy the little things and fleeting moments that will mean so much in the future.
Nathalia’s yawn brings you back to the present and you chuckle at the sleepy look on her face. “It’s been a long day, Nat. Why don’t you go rest? I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Are you sure you don’t need anything else, your Highness?” She asks after wrapping your hair in a cotton cloth for it to dry overnight.
With a shake of your head, you reassure her that you’re okay and she smiles before bidding you goodnight. After standing from your seat, you walk over to the small balcony in your room and look across towards the Khalmian sea, allowing the breeze to soothe a wave of anxiety that floods your chest. You wonder how your father is right now, how Rex is too. Have the pirates attacked yet? Did the other kingdoms arrive in time with their aid?
They are okay, you decide. Rex is okay. There’s no reason to believe otherwise, you don’t need to send such negativity his way. No, he’ll be fine, he’s a great warrior, the most cunning one you know. Brave and strong, fearless, and smart. You’ve seen him train for years, first from afar when he wasn’t looking and later front and center in the courtyard when it was useless to hide your affection for him; he’d read it all in your letters. He’s trained his men just as fiercely, even when there was no danger to prepare for.
We need to be ready to defend you and the palace, my lady, no time to lose, He’d said when you asked him why they trained every day; you’d passed him a glass of water and tried very hard not to look at the open collar of his shirt that day. Every knight in the 501st is trained to do their best and think of the best strategy for success, so you have nothing to worry about. Your father, Rex, and your friends fighting in the Turquoise Sea will be more than alright.
A strong breeze makes you shiver, and a wave of homesickness seems to make its way to you from the sea. On the one hand, it’s good that you’ve been too tired and too busy lately to be alone with your thoughts. But on the other hand, you’ve only delayed the inevitable. It isn’t the first time you’ve been away from home, and you’ve never been alone –Nat is always by your side– but for the first time, there is too much uncertainty upon your return. The palace will be mostly empty, the King will be away, your captain too. Most of the anxiety you felt days ago had more to do with being apart from each other than the danger you could potentially face in the journey. You’ve never been apart for so long and now your heart is begging for you to acknowledge your feelings. You miss Rex. You miss him so much that you’d rather stay busy than let yourself think about his absence and be overwhelmed by sadness.
He’s been your constant for years; the one person that even from across the room, can bring you comfort like no other. His eyes know you, understand you, they bring you home. A home that’s him. Which makes thinking about going back to the palace –without Rex– sad and not comforting at all. No, the homesickness you’re feeling is tied more to the one you love than to a specific place, not even the garden would soothe it. There’s really nothing you want more –and it’s foolish to even think about it– than to have Rex wrap his arms around you and hold you while your tired body falls asleep.
Soon. Not the falling asleep next to him, but knowing his presence is near you. The war will be over one way or another, and you trust your captain to come back to you unharmed. You’ll have your strolls around the garden, he’ll join you for tea and any affairs you might have to attend to. You’ll engage in deep conversation, you’ll laugh, you’ll be happy. He’d told you he would come back, and Rex is a man of his word. Thus, with that peace of mind, you close and lock the balcony’s door before moving to lie on the bed; the soft mattress and duvet welcome you as you sigh in relief. Sleep takes you hostage almost immediately, bringing you to a blurry dream of a white gown, a garden and a familiar face smiling at you.
The next day, after everyone has breakfast, the major shows you to the site where all the destruction happened. Most of the damage took place along the boardwalk, which was set on fire that night, and the adjacent houses and buildings. Just like Commander Cody had reported during the King’s meeting, two houses, the barn, and the bank suffered terrible damage. Your mind supplies the memory of the kids you played with the night before, and an overwhelming sense of relief goes through you at once. At least no one was gravely hurt or killed. At least the kids weren’t around.
It tears your heart in half, looking the scorch marks left by the fire, the ashes lying on the floor where the barn used to stand, the empty space where the boardwalk should be. All the pirates’ targets where buildings made from wood, unlike the rest of the village that’s made from cobblestone. How can there be people so vile? So cruel as to plan something that would make this village’s efforts disappear in an instant? You wonder as you brush away your tears, eyebrows meeting in the middle as anger threatens to take over you. Why are there people so evil in this world that harm innocents out of mere spite? Your thoughts are bitter, you can’t deny it, but looking at the destruction first-hand lights up a flame of protectiveness in your heart.
A protectiveness that quickly upsets you, until you spot the people of Liana who are still cleaning up the ashes and debris of the boardwalk. Further up the road there are three locksmiths setting up a workshop in front of the bank to make a new door for the vault. It soothes your incensed emotions until slowly the crease between your eyebrows disappears. The anger you felt fades, and though your heartache stays, you feel more hopeful than a few moments ago. People can be cruel but there are also good, kind-hearted, and generous people. People who like to help. Those who balance out the world. With a deep breath, you bring yourself back to the present moment, and voice the question you asked to yourself the night before.
“If I may ask,” you begin with a glance to the Major who walks alongside you and Nathalia. She smiles and urges you to continue. “Why isn’t Liana a main village visitors go to in Khalmia?  Your village is absolutely beautiful, the Khalmian sea is right in front of you. Your people and your gastronomy are wonderful. Yet it’s not a village most people visit.”
The Major sighs and points to the western side of the village. “That’s the road you took to the village yesterday. It is the longest, and it’s not often used. There is another one on the eastern side, and visitors used to like it because you don’t have to camp on the way, and it has direct access to the main road between the kingdoms. However… it hasn’t been safe for a while. There are bandits who like to scout the area and rob anyone who would like to visit; they think the visitors will have wealthy possessions because they’re on holiday.”
At your frown she shrugs her shoulders. “The road has been neglected for a long time because of this, and everyone is afraid to go and fix it.”
You sigh, shake your head; out of the corner of your eye you see Nathalia do the same next to you. It is no wonder Greymoon is frequented more often, they have the 99th legion who protect the roads and the people from instances like this one. The memory of the five knights is all you need to come up with a plan of action.
“When I go back and the captains and commanders are back from the war, I will ask them to create a legion of knights for Liana, just like the one they have in Greymoon.” You tell the Major, pausing your walk to reassure her. “It can include palace knights as well as any men who would like to be a knight for your village. Does that sound like something you’d be interested in?”
The Majors eyes light up as she nods. “That sound like a wonderful idea, your Highness. I’m certain that with more protection, things would be much different here for us. Especially the children.”
“You will have the safety you need; I promise.” You offer your hand for her to shake. “And those bandits will be taken care of.”
It’ll be your first order of business when you get back home, King’s approval or not, the bandits will be the first to be stopped. Afterwards, once Captain Rex is back, you’ll tell him about your idea for a Legion to protect Liana. You’re sure he’ll be more than happy to help you.
The three of you continue walking in silence, greeting the people and the knights who are helping to clean up the debris before you turn to the Major again. “What would you like to see in your village to make it more comfortable for visitors?”
“I think the Inn is what needs the most adjustments.” She tells you, pointing up at the street above to show you the three-story stone building. It’s been painted white with turquoise and yellow details, but the paint is chipping, the windows aren’t in good condition and a part of the roof looks like it’s seen better days.
“It’s expensive to maintain,” The Major explains, “But with more visitors it wouldn’t be. As you can see, it needs repairs and some refurbishments to the bedrooms and bathing chambers.”
You nod and turn, looking back at the boardwalk. “I imagine the boardwalk too, as it needs to be completely redone.”
“Maybe we’ll build it in cobblestone this time, like the rest of the village.” The Major smiles.
“It’ll definitely be fireproof then.” Nathalia pitches in, making both of you laugh.
“I think stone is a good idea,” You nod.
“If you think it’ll attract visitors when the road is patrolled.” The Major replies. “With the gold you’ve brought for the bank, I’m sure we can get it done.”
“It will most definitely attract visitors; I’ll make sure of it!” You tell her with enthusiasm, with the gossiping going around many of the events you attend it is only a matter of time before this village increases its popularity. That and… “I’m also planning on coming back.”
When the Major sees the honestly in your smile, her eyes light up. “Really, your Highness?”
“Of course.” You nod. “Nathalia, you’d love to come back here, right?”
“Absolutely, your Highness.” Nathalia sighs looking around. “I don’t even want to leave.”
You chuckle as you continue along Main Street and see the jolly mood everyone is in. Happiness makes its way to your heart at the thought that with the supplies you’ve brought for them, the Major will be able to undo the harm the pirates did to them. You don’t tell her though, that you’ll send a team to renovate the Inn, the boardwalk, and the barn as soon as possible. But you will. They were caught in a crossfire between the Kingdom and the pirates; they didn’t deserve this. So you’ll fix whatever needs to, and make this right. You also know you must visit the other villages in the Kingdom. It is imperative that you know what issues and safety concerns aren’t being seen –what your father might have neglected. Though your mother criticizes your emotions and how they sometimes drive your decisions, you don’t feel any shame about it. You need love and empathy when looking at certain things, especially if you want to be of any help.
“Might I see your chapel?” You ask before you can think twice, love taking the reins of your decisions for a split second. Nathalia gasps behind you, shooting you a look of barely contained excitement that makes you laugh.
“Why of course,” The Major smiles. “Right this way. Although I must warn you, we must climb many stairs to get there.”
You laugh at Nathalia’s frown and link your arm with hers. “We can manage that with no problem.”
✧☆★✧☆★
“Okay, I’ll admit this view is worth the climb.” Nathalia says, wiping some sweat from her forehead, and trying to catch her breath.
The early afternoon sun is high in the sky, bathing everything in sunlight, and making the clear water of the Khalmian sea shimmer below. From where you stand, right at the doorstep of the chapel, you have an unobstructed view at the city below, red roofed buildings with their black iron balconies and ceramic pots on windowsills. Pine trees so big the very top is right below the balcony you stand on. You run your hand over the stone; flowers and vines have been carved delicately into it, and there are empty spaces between them that allow light to sneak through. It makes the flowers’ pattern paint the cobblestones with light underneath your shoes. You smile then turn towards the chapel, it’s yellow and orange stone exterior shining with the sun and slowly becoming the home of deep green vines that snake their way from the ground up, halfway to the very top of the building. You’re sure that when spring comes, these vines will be covered in flowers; the thought cements your determination to return to Liana after winter comes and goes.
“Oh.”
Your words are followed by another gasp coming from Nathalia behind you, and you nod in agreement. The cobblestone floor outside, transitions into white polished marble with brown and ochre veining that makes your footsteps echo as you walk. The pillars have golden detailing, intricate vines, flowers, and leaves weaving together under light blue painted stone. The golden detailing settles at the top of each column from which the coved ceiling expands upwards. The dome-like structure above has cherubs, gardens, the Khalmian sea, and the sun all depicted in a breathtaking mural; being biased towards gardens, you decide this mural is more beautiful than the one in your father’s wing back at the palace. Everyone is silent as you take in the rest of the room, the white benches, the light blue carpet extending towards the center of the room and the golden detailing of the altar and big windows on the eastern and western walls –perfect for a sunrise and a sunset. You let your mind wander, putting white carnations, blue delphiums and hydrangeas in around the place, lighting up the candelabra by the walls and in the altar, white and light blue lace decorating the sides of the benches and a long veil with embroidered white flowers dragging along the carpet. A shuddering breath leaves you and you shake those thoughts out of your head –there’s no point in thinking about it. Not when you haven’t talked to your father yet.
So you clear your throat and smile at the Major. “It’s beautiful.”
She nods when she turns to you. “We’re very proud of it. It’s been kept this way for one hundred years.”
“Yet another reason for Liana to have more visitors.” You tell her with a nod. “Don’t you think, Nat?”
“Yes, your Highness.” Your friend smiles at you, a knowing look in her eyes that you ignore for the sake of your heart. “I imagine once people visit Liana, they’re sure to want to get married here.”
You smile and shoot her an amused look before shaking your head; like you said before, those thoughts have no room in your mind right now –you shouldn’t have entertained the idea to begin with. The mission isn’t over yet, and that’s where you must settle your focus on.  “Shall we return to the boardwalk, Madame Mayor? Your people need all the help they can get.”
“Of course,” She motions with her hand for you and Nathalia to go ahead. “The journey down is much easier.”
The rest of the day is spent looking at some of the reparations being made, then you go to the store where the farmers usually bought their supplies –before they were looted by the pirates– and begin distributing the seeds to re-plant the crops ruined by the pirates and farming supplies they will need to tend to them until the next harvest. About half of the supplies have been distributed when your heart is moved to tears by a particular farmer, Peter, who brings a small basket with a couple of apples to you, tears in his eyes as he gives you his thanks.
“The only ones left in a lonely tree.” He says wiping his eyes. “They stayed there for you, I’m sure, Princess; to thank you for your kindness to us today.”
You shake your head and give the farmer a hug after taking the basket from him. “There are no thanks needed, this is the least I can do for all of you.”
You let him go and hand him knapsack with supplies, like you’ve done to everyone else in the queue. Tears sting your eyes, but you blink them back, putting a smile on your face instead. “I hope the next harvest is even better than the one you’ve lost.”
With a smile of his own and a nod, Peter says goodbye and walks out the door holding the knapsack to his chest. Next to you Nathalia tries to dry her eyes discreetly with the back of her hand before a white handkerchief is handed to her. You don’t overlook the gentle look on Sir Echo’s face when Nathalia thanks him quietly, or the way her eyes shine as she looks up at him. The display next to you warms your heart even as you look away promptly and pretend you’ve not noticed anything. A discreet smile makes its way to your face though; you’ll have to ask Rex if he’s noticed any feelings the Lieutenant might have towards Nat. You certainly haven’t seen Nat blush in front of Sir Echo before these last couple of days.
What happened that’s made their feelings surface? Perhaps you and your captain will play cupid once he’s back, to see if your friends’ feelings are requited or not. Once he’s back, you tell yourself with a shake your head. With a deep breath and one last glance at Nathalia, you bring your focus back to the matter at hand and the distribution of the necessary supplies to the farmers still queuing in front of you. There’s still much to do until your departure in the morning, you have no time to waste.
✧☆★✧☆★
After almost 30 days at sea, the war with the pirates finally has an end in sight and Rex is thankful. It has a been a brutal fight —the still aching wound on his side a painful reminder— but thanks to Khalmia’s strategy and carefully planned attacks, most of the casualties were on the enemies’ side. The help received by the Kingdoms of Mezeron, Amarant and Chelsia became of utmost importance and allowed Khalmia to turn the tide in their favour, bringing the pirates to their knees. Literally, as the pirates on the ships they are currently surrounding kneel and raise their hands in surrender. All of them abandoning the fight and leaving their leader –pirate captain Thorne– defenseless for the arrival of commander Cody, Wolffe and Rex himself to ambush his ship. Fives, Jesse and 10 more soldiers who accompany Rex are quick to climb aboard the enemy ship and arrest what little remaining crew Thorne has left. The crew fights through their arrest but Rex can tell their heart is not in it, they have given up.
Glancing away from them, Rex looks at the Turquoise sea that extends left and right. He also spots the King’s ship anchored close to the shore, where he awaits the pirate captain for his sentence. Rex knows it won’t be a light one, as the life of the princess was endangered by the pirate’s plan. Give him hell, your Majesty, Rex thinks to himself, no one hurts the princess. My princess. Cody and Wolffe raise their blades the moment the pirate steps out of his study, bringing Rex back to the present. Captain Thorne is a short man with a strong build and a balding spot in the middle his head. Like the other pirates, there are two braids on his beard, each of them showing off a tooth that Rex still isn’t if they’re his own. The pirate dresses in all black –except for his red vest and matching utility belt– the clothes made from a leathery material and covered in steel studs. Thorne’s face, which is sunburnt and flaking– remains calm and confident despite the situation he’s in, and for some reason it makes Rex and his two friends bristle with anger.
“On your knees.” Rex orders, his voice almost a growl as his hatred towards the man in front of him comes to the forefront of his mind. “We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Your choice.”
Thorne chuckles and unsheathes his blade, charging at the three of them without a moment of thought. Rex takes his own two blades out and readies his stance as the two commanders intercept the pirate before him The sound of blades clashing together –metal colliding with metal– floods the deck. Thorne strikes high and low at Wolffe, then turns and blocks Cody’s blade just in time. A moment later he ducks to dodge Wolffe’s blade and kicks Cody’s legs from under him. In an instant, Rex steps in to block his strikes, having the advantage of being trained with two blades, something Thorne doesn’t know what to do with. Rex should have known that the pirate would choose to go the hard way; what pirates lack in morals and virtue they make up on ego. Thorne recovers quick enough to turn and block every strike sent his way –fighting even though he is a lost cause– but Rex, Wolffe and Cody have fought beside each other for so long that their fight ends very shortly after it starts. The pirate’s sword is knocked out of his hand before the wind gets knocked out of him by Cody’s fist and he’s shoved to his knees by Wolffe’s strength.
Rex cuffs Thorne’s hands in front of him, tight enough that they’re uncomfortable, before he rises and looks down at the pirate through the gap in his helmet. “You’re under arrest for pillaging, assault, treason to the Kingdom, attempted kidnapping, looting, and murder. The King will decide your sentence.”
“So, you’re captain Rex, of the 501st legion.” The pirate chuckles and tilts his head to the right, unfazed by all the charges and what they mean for him. For his life. “You’re the one who thwarted my plan of abducting the princess.”
“The princess thwarted your plans herself.” Rex tells him curtly, sheathing one of his swords and tightening the grip on the other one. He remembers your sprained wrist, the cut in your arm, your bruised hand and your body shaking out of fear; his frown deepens. You’d been so hurt and so afraid, and the man in front of Rex is the one responsible for it.
“But you trained her.” Thorne narrows his eyes at him, searching for something, before shrugging and looking away. “It’s a shame though, she would’ve been a real asset.”
Rex feels his blood boil at the word asset. To everyone else I’m the King’s fortune and land in a pretty dress, you said to him one day at the garden. It had upset him beyond words despite your request to ignore other people’s thoughts. To hear this pirate, have the same thoughts you’ve had to grow comfortable with, fans a flame of anger inside Rex’s chest before he can help it. He raises his sword and places the sharp blade under Thorne’s chin.
“You will not talk about her Highness in such a way.” Rex growls, “You’re lucky we’re bringing you to the King alive.” He turns and begins walking ahead without another word, as Cody and Wolffe manhandle the pirate into a standing position and follow.
“Ah yes, the King of Khalmia. He would have done my bidding if I managed to get my hands on his daughter.” The pirate chuckles, then clicks his tongue. His tone is calculated when he speaks again. “The Princess would have done my bidding too if you know what I mean.”
“He’s baiting you, Rex.” Cody notices the way Rex is gripping his sword and warns him. “Don’t react.”
“Shut it.” Wolffe hits Thorne on his side with the hilt of his sword, making the pirate huff out a pained breath.
Still Thorne pays Wolffe no mind as he continues, raising his voice for Rex to hear him loud and clear. “If she’s as beautiful as everyone say she is, I wouldn’t have helped myself. I would have made sure to have my fun.”
Rex shakes his head. He tries not to engage, he really does, but no one talks about you like that. No one. He turns around in an instant, one of his swords ready in his hand to threaten the pirate back into silence. But Thorne, clearly having planned for this, uses Cody’s and Wolffe’s distracted state to steal Wolffe’s sword and charge at Rex. However, he underestimates the captain of the 501st, who had his whole focus set on him from the moment he turned around; he saw him steal the sword just in time. Rex blocks the blow, having more mobility than Thorne who’s handcuffed, and with one calculated move, he disarms and pierces the pirate’s flesh. The wound lies on the left side of his torso, not lethal but painful, nonetheless.
“I trained her on doing this too.” Rex seethes, his hand on Thorne’s shoulder as he looks down at him. “She would have done more than this, I can assure you that. But she’s safe at home so this is in her name.”
“She’s not safe.” The pirate looks up at Rex and a chill goes down his back at the bloody smile sent his way. “She’s dead. She’s been dead for weeks.”
Rex forces himself not to have a reaction and remains silent, but as he takes his sword out of the pirate –who curses loudly in pain– and sheathes it once more, his hands start to shake. No, Thorne is taunting you, the princess is well protected. But he can’t be sure. He’s been so wrapped in the battle, in defeating the enemy as quick as he can to get home to you, that he hasn’t had time to check if any mail had arrived for him. If something happened –it couldn’t have– Echo would be the first to send word to him. The King would have heard the news too, but so far nothing has been said in land or at sea. Still, despite trying to reassure himself this way, Rex feels panic rise inside his chest and the sounds around him turn into white noise.
“Let’s bring him to the King.” Rex tells his fellow soldiers after clearing his throat. “His majesty will give him the punishment he deserves.”
Cody and Wolffe nod their heads and follow Rex’s lead, while his mind reels with worse case scenarios as vast as the sea stretching around him. He must check his mail, it’s the only way he’ll know for sure. If his friends notice his hurry on the way back to their ship, they don’t mention it.  Instead, they share a worried glance and pick up their pace as well.
To be continued

Brotherband Sleep Headcanons
Source(s): Bro trust me
Edvin sleeps unreliably - sometimes he gets to bed late, often he wakes up early, because of the work he does for the crew making meals. However, his hardline is that he cannot be woken up between midnight and 4am. He is not a naturally grumpy person but if you wake him up at 3am for any reason less than his life is in imminent danger he will bite your head off (your life doesn't count. your life your problem he still has an hour of sleep left) That's not to say that he only sleeps four hours a night but those are the only four hours he will consistently sleep every night.
Ulf's favourite time to take watch is in the middle of the night. He loves how serene it is, and tracking his time by watching the moon set over the ocean. Also, nothing really happens in the middle of the night because all the potential enemies are also asleep. Has a symbiotic relationship with Edvin.
Wulf's favourite time to take watch is the last watch, in the morning. It means he gets a block of uninterrupted sleep earlier in the night, and he loves watching the sun rise while everyone stirs and wakes. He's memorised who tends to wake in what order, and he enjoys the feeling of being the first one up.
Hal tends to sleep very little on board ship, since he's either steering or subconsciously paying attention to the ship's movements. So when they're on land for whatever reason, he sleeps a lot. Unless he's in the grip of some idea, he might sleep twelve hours in one night (and then go back to sleeping two hours a night for the next three weeks 😬). Thankfully, he doesn't need a lot of sleep to function.
Stig needs a reasonably high amount of sleep to function well. He can live life on a little bit of sleep, but he won't really be having a lot of fun unless he's had eight hours at least. It doesn't all need to be taken during the night though - Stig is a big napper. He also sleeps in really weird positions, since he's quite flexible. A favourite of his is scrunched up on his side in a rowing well with his back against the side of the ship and his head halfway under his knee. It's a bit creepy.
Jesper sleeps all. the. time. He loves to sleep it's his favourite activity <3 It's because he's never sure when the next time he'll get to sleep somewhere safe is
Stefan remembers nearly every one of his dreams. He doesn't dream every night, but he remembers them all. They're mostly a bit mundane, but once every year or so he has a mildly prophetic dream. However, he doesn't usually realise it until after the event has happened - he looks back at his dreams in the few months beforehand and goes ahhh.
Ingvar takes a really long time to fall asleep but he doesn't mind because it's really calming and restful just to listen to the waves and everyone around him sleeping.
Lydia naturally goes to bed really late and loves the feeling of being awake when no one else is. Like Stig, she's also a big napper to make up the sleep she loses during the night. (They are nap buddies.) However, if she's tired enough she will go to bed and fall asleep Instantly.
Thorn must have 12 hours of sleep per night or he starts killing (this is why he is such a deadly warrior he's Sleepy)

hey! hey caeley!! i have a qastion for u if u don’t mind. i see you posting about fear and hunger a lot and i’m like 👀 cuz i do be liking rpgs and i do be liking horror…. could you tell me more about it without any spoilers? like, a bit about the gameplay, story, whether i need to get the first one to play… i googled a bit but i’m already running into spoilers so i was wondering if you could help out here since it seems to be an interest of yours?
Oooo you've come to the right place, I could talk about these games for hours dbsjsj
I'll be breaking this question down into two parts because the first and second games are sort of different beasts that appeal to different sensibilities? (Idk if that makes any sense)
Fear and hunger
f&h1 is a dungeon crawler rpg set in medieval England(?), Centering around the eponymous Dungeons of Fear and Hunger.
There are four playable characters which sort of fit into the classic "adventuring party" setup (a knight, a mercenary, a dark priest and an outlander) all of which have different reasons for coming to the dungeons. They all have vastly different play styles and that combined with the fact that nearly all the items in the game are found through rng AND the fact that rooms in the dungeon are randomly generated mean two people's playthoughs can look extremely different.
Gameplay wise, f&h forces the player to manage an ever dwindling sanity and health meter whilst fighting off various monsters with a j-rpg boss battle amputation mechanic. (Really though, every fight in this game is just as capable of killing you as the next, nothing is safe.)
I personally can't speak too much about the plot of the first game because I've never actually played it. But without spoiling anything, all the player characters are in the dungeon to find a man called Le'garde, the head of a mercenary group called the knights of the midnight sun who's trying to ascend into godhood.
Everyone has varying motives with what they want to do to Le'garde once they find him, the knight wants to smooch him, the outlander wants to kill him, the dark priest wants to know why Le'garde gets to ascend to godhood and not HIM (the vastly cooler, sexier, more religious person), and the mercenary just wants to get some cash to feed his family (I guess? I'm not totally sure)
Fear and hunger: Termina
Termina is the sequel to f&h1. It's set 700 years after the first game in post WW2 Prague. Which is a wild jump in time and space. But anyway.
In termina, you play as one of 8 playable characters: A doctor, a journalist, a boxer, a botanist, an occultist, a runaway soldier, a mage and a mechanic. The game starts with the player on a train to the city of Prehevil after having weird dreams about the moon forcing them into a battle royale style death game over the course of 3 days. When the player awakens, they find that their train is stranded in the forest on the outskirts of town and that the other passengers have had the same dream. Just when things couldn't get worse, the players find that the towns people have been struck by some weird illness, causing them to mutate into... Well. Several things? It's a surprise.
Gameplay functions very similarly to the first game, except without the randomly generated rooms. In fact, termina is pretty much devoid of dungeons all together. It's mostly just exploring a really fucked up city. It's kind of like if pathologic and silent hill had a j-rpg baby.
General recomendations and closing thoughts
1) read up on the warnings before you play the game, I'm pretty desensitized to horror but these games don't pull any punches and some of the more triggering content makes them uh... Sort of hard to recomend? Which is a shame because if you can look past it, they're insanely fun.
2) don't be afraid to pull up a guide, sometimes it's worth getting a little spoiled over.
3) I personally don't think you need to play the first game if dungeon crawlers don't appeal to you, but that's just me.
4) if you haven't already, check out zuldim's video on the games. It's pretty much spoiler free and does a way better job of explaining what's going on with these games than I ever could. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the gods, rituals and religions this game basically runs on.

Time to use tumblr as a page to put my thoughts down again!
So everybody is always talking about the ship dynamic sun+moon and its many versions, but what about the moon and the sea? Or the sun and the star? The following split is used to keep this post shorter for those who aren’t interested (I’m honestly not even sure if I used it correctly but whatever it’s there now)
The moon and the sea:
The sea would be social and outgoing, exuding a calming aura, but because the sea, like in real life, also exudes an aura of mystery and uncertainty, nobody dares approaches them, or tries to interact with them every time they interact with another person. This causes the sea to become apathetic and antisocial, always breaking rules and doing graffiti, to try and get the attention they want, even if it’s the wrong attention
Bonus points if the sea comes from an abusive and/or neglectful home and just wants to be loved. Extra bonus point if the sea, despite seeming always fine with their living conditions, just really wants a shoulder to cry on because they hide what they really feel about their life
The moon, on the other hand, is shy, lost, scared of everybody, and avoids social interactions with everyone but the sea, keeping them company, except the sea rarely interacts with them. The moon then takes on a hobby of some sort to healthily express their pain and how they feel, but preferably with nobody watching them. The moon is a great listener and makes comments here and there when appropriate.
Bonus points if the moon is an amazing hugger, and extra bonus points if the moon also comes from a bad household, but is capable of coping. Bonus points on both sides if fate keeps pulling them apart like gravity, but they still get together against all odds after slow, slow burn and a couple of impatient fans
The sun and the star:
The sun is aggressive and apathetic towards the world, always cussing everybody out and seemingly doesn’t have a soft spot for anyone. The sun is arrogant, and although they act like they think so highly of themselves, they actually just have raging insecurities and turned their despair of themselves into anger, believing that nobody is angry enough. The sun doesn’t have any friends, and is considered an angry loner that’s easy to make fun of, and because of this the sun decides to start breaking rules and egg houses.
Bonus points if the sun gets both manic and inferiority complexes because of their conflicting feelings about their rage and their insecurities. Extra bonus points if the sun comes from a degrading home, and the sun has never really known true love until the star.
The star, on the other side of the spectrum, is kind and loving, has many friends and loves them all. The star takes a special liking to the sun, but is waiting for the perfect time. The star is a perfectionist and is very academically smart, and can read anybody like a book. If the star happens to question anything about themselves and who they are, instead of talking to someone about it they bottle it all up, and won’t do anything about it until they explode.
Bonus points if the star comes from a rich family but isn’t necessarily paid attention to because their parents are always out doing things without them. Extra bonus points if the star has never had an outburst in front of people, but their room is absolutely decimated because of it. Bonus points on both parts if after a long year or two of attempts of getting closer with each other, that they are finally friends and slowly after, a couple because they’ve found closure and a safe space in each other.
And there it is!! My rant and ideas over these dynamics are finally finished! I find these dynamics oddly underrated, so I decided to shed some light on them as well as incorporating my own ideas into them :))

Yandere Liam Headcanons!
Tumblr media
TW: manipulation, potential gaslighting
I've been in the mood to write something, so why don't I write about my latest game obsession, Sun Haven? Despite all the bugs, it's such an amazing game, and I hope that it only gets better from here on out! Anyway, apologies if this is OOC, and enjoy!
Just like with his sisters, Liam will do everything in his power to make sure that you taken care of, safe, and happy. (Though, his sisters, being the mischievous little matchmakers that they are, coax him to do this more with you than with them. They’re already grown up, and Liam is so lonely!)
Unable to make it to your home in time because you were too absorbed in fishing? Well, you can gladly stay the night at his house! Just know that you and him with have to share a bed, as Emma insists that Mr. Dinosaur sleeps on the couch. Hopefully you don't mind, but if you can't fall asleep, then you should have some of Liam's specialty hot chocolate. It'll make you fall right to sleep!
You like cookies? He’ll personally deliver a dozen to your door every day because he just so happened to make too many, again, for the nth time. They're even you're favorite kind of cookies too! What a coincidence!
Need to vent about draccoons eating everything on your farm? Just let him make sure Emma and Elizabeth are content in their room and then he’ll be all yours to talk to. (Though Liam wishes the best for your farm, he can't help but feel a bit thankful for the ravenous creatures.)
Of course, you don’t have to do anything in return, but if you really want to, would you mind going on a date with him for a day?
While he can’t monitor you 24/7 due to the fact that he has both his sisters to take care of as well as a bakery to manage, he’d ask Nathaniel to pay extra attention to you and update him on anything that happens to you under the guise of simply being a concerned friend and neighbor (and possible boyfriend). Plus, he’d bribe the captain with free hearty pie to make sure that he puts his all into watching you.
Should Liam be notified of an increase in your adventures out of Sun Haven, he would simply tell the airheaded captain that he thought he’d seen you exhausted to the point of fainting one afternoon from working on your farm, regardless of whether or not it’s true.
(Worried about his fellow friend, Nathaniel would attempt to stop you if you tried to leave Sun Haven. He knows better than anyone that, while pushing yourself is good, there is a limit to which one should do so. In other words, you need to rest!)
Occasionally some nights, when his sisters are asleep and everyone has returned home to turn in for the day, he quietly heads to the beach and stares longingly at the moon, dreaming about a future in which the two of you can be together. Imagine, him waking up in the morning and seeing your face first thing in the morning; the two of you laughing and having fun in the kitchen as you two bake a cake; a ring around your finger for all to see, warding off any potential enemies; an intimate day in bed spent not doing work when it rains.
Unfortunately, for all his longing, he is still quite shy, so you'll have to be the first one to make a move. Otherwise, he will simply pine for you at a distance (unless he happens to snap due to certain circumstances). Don't worry though, after you get the ball rolling, he'll take it from there. You just relax while he takes care of all the work; the only thing you have to do is to accept him wholeheartedly and completely.
And you bet that, once you're in a relationship, Liam becomes more vocal in his stances towards your lifestyle. Healthy relationships require communication and both parties to listen to each other's concerns, you know! (Though, if your concerns interfere with his, they'll go through one ear and out the other.)
There are only few professions that Liam would be fine with and, for the record, explorer, mage, fighter, and miner aren’t some of them. And, among those four, a mage profession is the only one you’d have a chance in convincing him to let you continue in. Though, you’d definitely be doing more miscellaneous or utilitarian magic rather than combat magic.
Just because I'm feeling a bit devious, I'll include some NSFW headcanons too (`艸´)
TW: bodily fluids in food, food kink, implied suffocation
You might have already guessed, but Liam enjoys putting his bodily fluids into the baked goods he gives to you, particularly his cum. Something about watching you eat the cupcakes he made so happily, cupcakes that had white icing containing his semen, makes him melt inside.
He's also good at hiding the salty taste too, so you'd be none the wiser to how he jacks off to you, thinking about how tight and wet and loving you'd feel around his cock, before mixing his release into the icing.
If you manage to catch him on a day where he's feeling more sensual than normal, or if you just seduce him, his food kink might surface. Depending on how he feels, it might be you eating him or him eating you. (He prefers you eating him—savoring every inch of his body while he's practically begging you for release, only for you to softly push him down and be a good boy while you enjoy your dessert.)
Speaking of, do feel free to take control in the bedroom. A part of Liam loves to submit to you and experience pleasure at your hands, turning his brain off and letting it turn to mush. However, please be gentle with him. He likes to be loved ♡
(He's totally a guy who refuses to say he's "fucking" you or any other crude verb. Instead, he's making love to you.)
Should you make him jealous, then he'd make you choke on his cock. It's the only punishment fitting for you, enchanting anyone with your kind words and charming personality. With his dick preoccupying your mouth, you won't be able to make him worry about some random person who doesn't love you nearly as much as he does. Seeing you cry as your throat spasms around him is also a major ego boost that only serves to motivate Liam as he fucks your mouth. Don't think that he'll stop at blowing his load once, though. It's only until his balls are emptied that he considers stopping.
In the end, Liam is a simple man. He appreciates a nice ass. Tight pants that accentuate the delicious curve of your assets (hehe) will always make a tent form in his pants. Hopefully, his apron will cover most of it up. (It doesn't, and Wornhardt has half a mind to call him out on it.) Just be weary of the consequences because you will be spending the rest of the day with him once he catches once glimpse of your butt, and maybe the next day too if you manage to wear something extremely scandalous.
Well, that's all I got for my yandere Liam headcanons! All in all, I think he's a mild yandere since he seems too sweet to do anything drastic. Hope you liked it, and feel free to give me some suggestions!

Dino in a Relationship Based on His Birth Chart
this is a revised repost of my previous analysis of dino's birth chart as i accidentally used the wrong birth year in the first one! this post uses the correct placements for dino <3
The overall vibe I'm getting from Dino's chart is that he likes to appear cool and unbothered to everyone except for the person he's chosen. For that person, he is S O F T.
Starting with Dino's type, I don't think physical appearance is all that important to him. He's more likely to be attracted to someone based on character traits--specifically things like passion, creativity, and anything humanitarian by nature. When choosing a long-term partner, he will probably like someone that is quite different from himself. His chart is mostly free and energetic, but he'd like to settle down with someone that is more lowkey and consistent. He won't consider people with abrasive or over-the-top personalities serious options unless they have something really special about them. I say this because his pisces venus ideally desires a partner that cares about others, is warm hearted, romantic, and someone he can always count on for love and comfort. However, pisces venus placements are prone to falling for people that are not good for them because they tend to see the best in people :( So while I described his type one way above, he could easily end up with the opposite because he has his blinders on. I'll choose to focus on Dino choosing a proper partner for this analysis.
Alllll of that being said, Dino has a scorpio mars that is highly sexual in nature and loves all things desire, so the chances of him having casual hook ups are higher than you'd expect. Not what we're talking about in this post though lmao.
When pursuing someone Dino likes, he is unstoppable. He doesn't wait for them to come to him. He will chase. His sagittarius moon goes after what it wants and his scorpio mars will make sure he gets it at any cost. He won't be shy to tell you what he wants for the most part. His sagittarius moon doesn't see a reason for not just saying what's on his mind. His scorpio mars, however, likes to play his cards close to the chest. Both of these placements tend to keep their feelings to themselves. So he will likely pursue in non-emotional ways first. This could be just going on a lot of fun dates or even starting from a sexual relationship. He doesn't want to feel vulnerable until he's sure you're what he wants for the long-term. He would rather you see him as this smart, sexy, carefree guy that you can't get enough of than let you know that he's crazy about you. He'd rather be desired than emotionally open. A man of many contradictions, though, his pisces venus is the softest ever. It might be hard for him to keep up the façade he wants at times, accidentally looking at you a little too starry-eyed or texting you something a little too sweet to be accidental.
In a relationship, Dino is quite literally obsessed with you lmao. You can do no wrong as far as he's concerned... except for not giving him enough love and attention when he's craving it :( He needs to be reassured often that you love him whole-heartedly (pisces venus) and that he's the only one you want (scorpio mars). As long as you're doing that, he is so so so so happy. He's pretty low maintenance otherwise. He likes to have time to do his own things (aqua sun, sag moon) so he doesn't demand all of your time. He's an explorer, a traveler, an ever-moving and ever-learning human being that can easily busy himself in these ways. He loves being able to count on coming home to you after all of these things though. So cuddly and affectionate when he's with you. You're the one place that he can truly take off his outer shell and reveal himself completely. He can't imagine a life without you. To him, you are perfection. Even still, he can be emotionally explosive. When I said he likes to keep his emotions to himself, I meant it. He'll do this much less with his partner because he will feel safe with them, but he will also worry that his emotions might cause friction sometimes and repress them anyway. These emotions can build up until he can't keep them down anymore and that's not a pretty sight. His sagittarius moon is brutally honest, his scorpio mars is sharp-tongued and vengeful, and his aquarius mercury believes that he always knows best. Arguing with him won't be fun. The upside is that his sagittarius moon can move on pretty quickly from things once they've been addressed and his pisces venus wants to be in harmony with you. He'll get himself in check when he needs to. That scorpio mars won't forget, though, so be careful what you say. A tip: have makeup sex with him. Make sure you tell him how much you love him. That's all he really needs to hear. 98% of the time, you and Dino live in a dream world together. The other 2% of the time can be intense, but it's a small blip compared to how many happy days you have together.
Ooooookay, let's talk about sex last. Dino's mars is in scorpio and, as I touched on earlier, this is a highly sexual placement (I have this placement I know all too well lmaoskfsdjf). Dino loves all things sex and desire. He likes to seduce and be seduced. He likes to talk about sex. He likes to have a lot of sex. He likes to have all different kinds of sex. He's kinky. He's a teaaaase omg. King of saying or doing something just to see the way you react to him. Just that is so satisfying to him. It makes him feel sexy and that goes hand in hand with his love for being desired and seduction. Regular sex will be very important in a relationship with Dino. If he's not having sex, he's not happy. It's that simple. His pisces venus needs to feel all the soft and fuzzy love feelings in order to truly enjoy sex, but that does not mean sex itself is soft with him by any means. Sometimes, maybe, but certainly not all the time. He'll want to have rough sex, soft sex, in-between sex. He'll try any and everything in the bedroom with you and be excited about it every time. Keep him stimulated!
In summation, I feel that Dino is a ride-or-die partner that will love you without condition and fuck the life out of you without hesitation.

NPC Dialogue for L, my polyamorous builder
I saw people doing this meme in the tags, and decided to try it out. Inspired specifically by @pepperonibread's post.
L:
Intro: “Howdy! Welcome to Sandrock. I'm new, too! Got kind of burnt out at building school, and at first kind of regretted coming here where there's so much work to do. But have you noticed how hot everyone is? Maybe it's the dry desert air making me so thirsty.”
Acquaintance:
Hey! How are you settling in? Make sure you don't go out too far - monsters can get pretty scary the further you get from town.
How's it hanging? You tried sandfishing yet? I used to love regular fishing, so it's kind of wild!
So I looked into it, and apparently there are a lot of policies in the Church of the Light that are determined by chapter. Like, how we can have guns here. I wonder what else is different?
I stayed out too late the other night, and when I passed out, I had a dream about...well, never mind.
Buddy:
Howdy! Caught any fish yet? Any big ones? Sometimes I see them swimming through the sand and wonder if I could do that.
Sometimes I get so tired, I just have to sit down and stare into space, and it always ends up I was staring at someone. Kind of embarrassing, but, oh well! So if I do that to you - sorry?
You know, you should stop by the Blue Moon sometimes and relax. A hot meal, a cold drink, and good conversation - you gotta set down the pickhammer and remember what it's all about.
How did Rian land such a great catch? Maybe I need to take a page out of his book...oh, sorry! Howdy! I'm off in my own world again, huh.
How's it hanging? Remember to let the air flow, my friend, or you'll regret it later.
Good Friend:
Howdy, pal! You ever get jealous? I saw Amirah making some pots the other day, and started wishing I was clay. At people? Nah.
Hey! Don't wear yourself out working too hard. Remember! I busted my butt in school, and now look at me.
Caught any big ones recently? I went out a bit too far to check out a new sandfishing hole, and got my ass kicked by the locals. You should've seen me! Running full tilt away clutching a giant fish to my chest like it was made of solid gold.
Howdy. You speak to Heidi lately? She's been so busy...I get it, really, but...never mind.
Sandstorm: I know it's stressful getting behind on work, but take my advice - there's no better chance to stay home and cuddle. Stay safe!
Rain:  I never knew I could miss this so much. I wonder if the sandfish around here care about rain? Does it awaken some evolutionary memory in them, or are they just oblivious?
Player has a new haircut: I wonder who you're trying to impress. Well, you're impressing me!
Player has panda eyes: I hoped you stayed up doing something fun, at least.
Player cuts a tree in front of L: Hooooboy. If you like getting berated by Burgess, good job, I guess.
Player attacks L with a weapon: Uh, watch out! Let's take it to the ring. I guess. Or, better yet, let's talk it out over dinner.
Day of the Bright Sun: I don't really need more stuff, but I love seeing the kinds of things people give as gifts. I really love days like this. Holidays were one of the brief times I wasn't studying in school. I felt guilty the entire time, but it was still worth it getting out.
Showdown at High Noon:  I guess it's good for everyone to practice fighting. Have you heard that there are places where they have a holiday to celebrate love, too? I wish we had that, to balance things out a bit.
Day of Memories: The games are fun, but I always sort of wished the fun parts and the memorial were separated. I guess that's how life is, though? You can't ever entirely separate feelings.
Tour de Rock: I feel like Unsuur should win this by default. But maybe if I win, he'll think I'm even cooler.
Running of the Yakmel:  This must be a real romantic holiday for Cooper and Mabel. Food and yakmel? I actually have no idea what this holiday's about, sorry.
Winter Solstice: Hey, don't miss out on the bonfire dancing! I'll save a spot next to me if I can!
Loved gifts:
Any kind of King Fish:  Holy! Look at that whopper! Are you seriously giving this to me?
Any of Amirah's pottery, or the character figures: Everyone accuses me of being shallow, but it was the craftsmanship of her work that really made me fall in love with her. Amirah, you're amazing.
Liked gifts:
Storage: Oh, thank the Light! And thank you! Maybe I can finally get organized.
Fishing gear:  Babe. You know me too well. Sorry, did I call you babe? Sorry, sorry. I was actually talking your gift.
Any fish other than King:  Ahaha! Howdy, little guy! You'll make a fine dinner or pet, tonight!
Neutral gifts: Wow, thanks! You don't really need to give me gifts to impress me, but I'll take 'em.
Disliked gifts: Huh. Thanks.
Hated gifts: Did I upset you? Sorry.
Complimenting appearance: Wow, thank you! The hair color's not natural, except in the sense that everything that is possible to exist is natural.
Complimenting appearance 2: I think you're pretty, too.
Complimenting work: Well, thanks! I do try! I know I'm easily distracted by a pretty face, but love just gives me the energy to make all my work feel worth it.
Complimenting personality: You catch more fish if you got the right bait.
Asked about her past:
Oh, well. Studying, work, rinse, repeat. After a while, I couldn't remember why I even wanted to be a builder. I'm starting to remember, I think.
The first time I fell in love, there was this big drama when she wanted to see someone else. I remember pretending that I was so upset, but not getting why I should care that much. I was a lot older when I realized other people aren't playing when they're upset about that stuff.
I always thought me and Nia would get married and ride off into the sunset on our gliders. Of course, life doesn't turn out how you imagine. We both had different dreams. But I missed her so much when we went our separate ways.
I think my Ma worries that she and Pa somehow pushed me into working too hard. I keep telling them that I made my own decisions, and thinking about the two of them was the big thing that pulled me off the edge, when it got real bad. I have to do better. I will do better. Even if I don't work as fast as I used to and people think I'm a flake.
Asked about work:
Most of the time people don't really need stuff as soon as they say. I still try, of course, to get it to them in time. But I've had to learn that if I end up running late, it's not the end of the world, you know?
Asked what she likes to do:
Sometimes I look at old books about fish, and then I look at the fish we've got around here - I think fish were always just really weird!
I hate eating alone, you know? Eating is when people really connect - we all gotta do it! It doesn't have to be a date, even if that's what people think I'm all about. I just want to hear about your day.
The more efficient the tools, the more time I have to keep myself sane without disappointing my commissioners. I love seeing things done quickly, and well.
Romance -
Confession response:
Accepted: Oh! You're quite the catch, so of course I accept!
Rejected: Oh...do you know what that means? Do you really want to be with me? I can't change who I am, you know. Maybe I need to think a little, and maybe you do too.
Regular lines:
Don't forget date night! It's easy to forget when we're busy, but spending time together makes everything else worthwhile!
There are always more fish in the sea, but I'm so glad I caught this one. And you caught me.
Do you see us together in twenty years? Time feels so blurry, one commission blending into the next, but no matter how far I try to look, I see you there with me.

I wish you luck with your endeavors with the Sleuths- all I'm gonna say is that I ended up simping for/ releating heavily to Y/N in that story-
Okay okay back to THE MEAT-
I don't wanna ruin any plot peices however, the idea that Y/N shows the boys how people are supposed to treat them seems like a important peice of the pie.
I can fully imagine this super shy Y/N learn about how shittily their current "handler" is being and get Sun to talk about said treatment giving him a safe space. Mind you maybe this comes up in casual conversation and Sun says it like it's no big deal.
Do you this this Y/N would be proactive in their want to help Sun/Moon? (Of course once they get to know them more cuz anxiety is fun)
*Deep breath* As an anxiety riddled idiot myself... I will absolutely bend over backwards and go out of my way and basically ruin myself to help someone in need I'm even slightly close to? It is a problem lol. BUT that said, I DO feel like this YN would be an absolute bleeding heart, and while they aren't really 'well off' themself, especially if we go the artist route (ordering out that much just for a chance to talk to this dude would hurt their wallet -oh god is this a crush or just the crippling loneliness theyd didn't realize they had???-) learning even a bit about how they're doing this job for some other human thats basically forcing them to or they'll kick them to the curb would light a blind rage inside. It would take a bit to actually manifest into action though. Don't wanna overstep or push too hard cause what if saying something about that would push them away from you? What if one day you said the wrong thing, and then the next time they made a delivery they just... Handed the food off and left. Like they're supposed to. What if they DIDN'T sit around and talk for fifteen-twenty minutes, or make sure that your delivery was the last stop so they could make some excuse to stay over for the night(Moons introduction pending???)
What if you lost your currently only local... friend? Are you friends? Becuase YOU thought something that's working for them is bad and YOU want them to change their whole life just cause YOU're reading too much into a situation? But talking more, realizing they're actually unhappy about it, cause this human is NOT their friend as much as they claim them to be(realizing they call them their friend to be polite but it always lacks the same bounce and energy as when he calls YOU friend, or sunshine, or any other cute little pet name he's picked out for the day).  It always falls flat. Like it's forced. Like the lines of his smile strain when he dips into discussing his personal life... No, that's too heartbreaking, for such a wonderful sweet PERSON like him to have to deal with. They have their freedom now, but they're still being treated like a tool? Not on your watch. You start making the effort of inviting him to stay over, and it starts to become second nature, even on days when you havent ordered food, to hear the soft knock on your front door, different patterns but always the same tone, that you have a visitor for the night. CUE MOON REVEAL. Because everyone loves a sudden power outage. He's WELL aware of how friendly you've been with Sun, casually commenting in the back of his mind, convinced there's something wrong with you and teasing constantly BUT he also is under the full belief that you're full of shit and using him somehow. There's an ulterior motive. There has to be. So far out of every human they've interacted with, you're the only one that treats them THIS different. Yeah some are nice enough, but the interactions are short and dismissive. The guy they work for now is a complete dick and insists Moon not be let out at all. He's scared of him, and for good reason. He's tired of being cooped up though, so when you and Sun were sitting in the livingroom, something queued up on the TV, you working on a commission on the couch with the golden animatronic crosslegged on the floor and leaning back against the seat next to you.. Well. Lights out, and time for an introduction. He had a hunch you were considering asking about him staying with you, but you still had no idea there was this other side to sun. And Moon is about to push ALL of the buttons that should make you abort. He's very good at that. He knows better than to kill you, though. Sun wouldn't forgive him. But if he can make you show off your true colors, how you'd handle Moon, if you'd make the same cruel decision to keep him locked away and missing his half of this new freedom, well. That's one thing he and Sun had talked about in the past. Something that always made him hesitate to mention Moon existing. He was scared Moon would be right. (tune in next time for 'how unhinged and dangerous is moon currently? who fucking knows!')

I’ve been incredibly artblocked but…here’s some fun facts about Dimensional Disaster!
Bill is released by these portals opening: the portal of unity from the Boiling Isles, the Calamity Box, the Time Trampoline, the Ring Portal, The Tesseract being used, and the Watch. The Watch is our main catalyst of the events of DD.
Sun/Moon gets stranded in the Underground, specifically in those caves with the glimmering stones that look like stars that monsters like to gaze at. It’s a great way to pass the time while waiting to be found.
Luz is able to use her drawn symbols in other universes for magic, but the Hexside kids in the WK universe? No magic there.
Sonic actually has a lot of fun in the Cuphead universe and even makes some friends! Sure, the debtors are pretty aggressive, but Mugman makes a great combat buddy!
Anne and Sprig end up in The Unknown in their lil dimensional remix. The forest almost reminds them of Frog Valley, but less frogs and lots more weird here. Lots of strange little villages with vegetables and odd people. But it’s safe there. They can hold out there…right?
Kailani, or L, has had…experiences…with Bill Cipher before. Though it may not be obvious, but she poses a great threat to his plans to rule the universe and plunge it into chaos.
The villains of most universes side with Bill and his quest to conquer with chaos, but not everyone is blinded by his promises of power. Donita and Gourmand, Alcina Dimitrescu, Bierce, the LOV, the Diamonds, and other villains rebel against the new order alongside our protagonists.
Creature Power Suit malfunctions are possibly in different dimensions. Chris knows.
Zach gets on incredibly well with his new villain buddies. He’s been using his whiny child voice less, and actually being mentored into using his inventions for more than filthy varmints? And teaming with the two most powerful people he’s ever met in his life? He’s living the dream! Maybe…that’s why his friends feel so betrayed…
