me : so I have this idea with the first years in a band

@hiraya-manwari : okay but with if they had avatars

me:.....

me: opens up drafts with a sigh

This is all her fault and now everyone can reap the results of what we came up with together

I might actually make this into actual fic but if anyone wants to make their own than go wild

Basically my original idea was just the first years, including yuu, just randomly started a band together. Then the idea of them hiding their identity was pitched and now here is just the jumble of headcanons we came up with

okay so since we found out they can sing from VDC, im gonna be assuming that the rest of the first years (ie Jack and Sebek) can sing but then i started thinking of them as an actual band

sebek probably joined to impress malleus or something but ended up having fun and just stayed

considering the upbringing Sebek has, he probably has some proficiency with piano

ace and epel probably know how to play the guitar (ace had a guitar phase prove me wrong)

deuce has bassist vibes and jack on drums bc mmmmm jack on drums

we said yuu was the miku equivalent bc project sekai but lets not talk abt that

we liked to think that their singing voices would be different from their usual voices (epel doing deep vocals/screaming, sebek doing the softer vocals, jack having a raspy voice, etc etc)

then they go a step further to having a hidden identity with virtual avatars

like they can’t exactly say theyre 16 year olds from NRC for various reasons

so they went to, yes you guessed it, idia shroud

listen idia has been consuming this media for years so he knows what hes doing

so hes basically the manager at this point and does all technical stuff to it bc lets be honest who else is best to do this

this man is living his idol manager dreams and ortho is cheering him on

hes the one who creates the fanchant which both amazes and horrifies the firsy years

hes probably the one who gets the avatars at this point and gets everyones opinions on what they want but only to an extent bc no epel you wont be getting a buff avatar no matter how much you plead

Epel:nobody is going to know!!! Let me have this

Everyone else: Epel we’ve gone over this before. No.

adeuce has a matching aesthetic kind of thing bc idia knows that dynamic

jack and sebek have that well built but stoic looking disposition

yuu and epel are on the more subtle side of things

the lore is just retelling of all the things they went through at NRC

heartsabyul arc = war criminal ace and deuce with soldiers sebek and jack on the hunt but end up joining them

yuu and epel are just normal ppl who got caught in the crossfire

listen the first years were just joking around when they said they would do this but then yuu actually got idia to do this kind of thing and oh god what do you mean our video has a million views y u u

Now if we talk abt reactions from the other students

Lilia and Rook know from the start lets be honest

these guys are hidden everywhere but theyre also agents of chaos so they don’t reveal anything

Cater and Vil are the first one to notice bc of course the social media savvy ones are the first ones to find out

vil is conflicted bc on one hand this is going against everything he has taught epel

but at the same time nobody is actually seeing and knowing its epel so his image isnt tarnished????

riddle be going through it bc he wants to keep up with trends how do u do fellow kids

so when he hears ace and deuce sing he just narrows his eyes and goes “wait a minute...”

azul wants to capitalize this opportunity but no u funky octopus the whole concept is to keep the identity a secret

he actually likes the music and died inside once he found out

listen if anyone sees the lore video and ppl at nrc find it eerily familiar to events and overblots that happened that shit is going to be suspicious and ppl will figure it out

1. Good Guy

00:00 - I love that the recent comebacks have had That Sound at the beginning. Not the same sound but a distinct sound that the moment the song starts you just KNOW. They are sounds i love to imitate tbh

00:08 - okay idk why but the crescendo of the synth/strings (i dont know music words, bare with me for this) it’s so pretty and very well represents how i gradually get more excited as the song starts ( ilove this song). also i’ve watched so may stages that now my mind just immediately starts the fanchant

00:21 - okay i love all of taeyangs opening line but esp the “oh noo”

00:29 - the Slight autotune to dawon’s voice as he says “baby” is my aesthetic

they are legendary n all of their title tracks are so fucking good (my least fave is like ooh ah but the rest is *chef kiss*) i don’t stan but i watched their survival show so i know that theyre sweet girls who work really hard so if anyone tries to shit on them im gonna kick them in the face sgvfjhbg i wish they’d stop doing concepts that are geared towards twenty-something korean men (aka the guys that keep screaming while they perform,,,,learn how to do fanchants properly or shut tf up) and that the stylists would dress them better like. why make them wear miniskirts when their choreos are the way they are??? it just seems like theyre trying to make them wear the least amount of cloth possible (although that started changing with dtna) i know people shit on their vocals a lot but tbh it doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of the songs and idk they seem fine to me? oh and i also wish they’d stop making them sing way too high for them,, their songs are soo difficult to sing bc of this and yea. so far they’ve only released good music but i think it might get boring soon if they don’t evolve musically (and thats why fancy was an excellent cmb song!!!) and also jeongyeon is my wife in another dimension hehe

Immy, this is probably gonna be kinda long and it’s been a while but I just feel the need to share my experience ahhhh seeing BTS in Paris was the best experience of my life. On day 1 I had floor tickets and since it was my first concert ever I didn’t know about the madness it was tiring and everything but once the show actually started you just go to another world... Me and my friend found the GA line kinda late so we were standing in between the middle and back of the crowd but by the end I-🐥

- was so close since people were leaving coz they were crying too much and pushing which I was just like yassss push me more lmao. Seeing them was just ahhh I can’t believe it i can’t explain how I feel wow... I cried after but my friend was like you’re gonna see them again calm down lol 😂 Day 2 since it was seated tix it was so chill but my throat was sore af I thought I wouldn’t be able to scream or do the fanchants for day 2 but I was somehow screeching more and louder like wtf 😂😂 I -2/?🐥

- didn’t know like seating plans and stuff so the seated tickets I got was actually almost the furthest from the stage like it was in the balcony right on top, the fans were more chilled there than floor so you could just mostly here me screeching ahhhh Even though I wasn’t that close it was still so amazing I got to see so much Jikook action right in front of my own 2 eyes and like I could just see everything from sitting there but it was still pretty far. During the ending ment- 3/? 🐥

- the boys were mostly either speaking in French or English and I was just there screaming with everyone else but then when it was Jimins turn he was speaking in Korean and there was a guy translating it into French but idk how but while Jimin was talking at some point I screamed so loud from the back of the arena “JIMIN I LOVE YOUUUUUU!!!!” And he actually heard me like I’m still freaking out about it ahhh I do feel kinda bad I interrupted him while he was talking but still holy shit, I -4/? 🐥

-I never knew I could scream so loud like wtf I was shook myself lmao I was like what octave even was that😂I tried screaming for all the other members to hear me after too since I was motivated af but that screech literally took the life out of me lmao😂😂it’s been 4 days and I can barely talk😂😂It was just such an amazing experience overall how do people survive seeing them, they look and sound 1 million times better irl wow. Also everyone should go to Paris at least once in their life lol-🐥

oh god :(((( HHH!!!!!! ok im literally gonna go through this event by event. so I WALKED INTO THE ARENA with my friend to go find my seat and there’s a moment of silence before the beginning of danger’s mv begins playing. and up on the screen is jungkook playing outro: propose, that really pretty dramatic piano part. and let me tell you i literally burst into tears AT THAT MOMENT because it was just so overwhelming to realize that i was actually there and going to see them. and then there was the vcr and they all looked. So Good! i literally said “oh my god” so many times during the concert it was unreal i mean ive told you about this but yeah on to actual performances (read more)

so all this fire starts torching into the air and the stage lights are flashing everywhere with this dramatic music with heavy drums (think mama 2016 fire-esque). ok so im rewatching the vid i took as i write this and im laughing because everyone else is like “TRAADE OFF” and from me you just hear this hysterical “CHOO CHOO” OK thats not the point. i could barely focus in the first performance because i could not believe they were real but like he’s GORGEOUS they were all so gorgeous n i wanna gush about the others too but this is a jk ask. he is So Stable and powerful i dont know how he even does it. so after they finish performing they begin their ments…. when it goes to jk he kinda looks up like “:o its my turn” but then he goes “WASSUP” and he’s so sos ofuckginfg pretty he glows and his eyes and just his face at that point i screamed “I LOVE YOU… (weakly) jungoo….” and then he also said LONG TIME NO SEE he has the cutest voice :(.

when he starts singing in save me… his voice is so beautiful. and i already said it but his dancing is so powerful. n the way he looks at the camera… you feel it in your soul. and his voice is so good in im fine!!!!!! i was not, in fact, fine. the part where he falls to the floor then suddenly looks up is so intense.

but incredibly he looks absolutely ethereal when he stands and sings. this might sound weird but like…. the way his eyes are half closed is so pretty and he looks at peace. even more so when he closes his eyes all the way. ive said it so many times but his eyes literally are so captivating. all of bts look unbelievably good in person. also there’s supposed to be a fanchant In Magic Shop During The Instrumental Break But Nobody Did It but i faithfully went through all the way anyway.

n then. THE GOLDEN DUO VCR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theyre so cuuuteekjsdhdskjfh :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( like it was just such a happy pure colorful lighthearted vcr!!!!!

ok not to be cheesy but i literally got goosebumps and started tearing up when i heard his voice say “euphoria” in the silence. the pretty guitars start coming in and he’s revealed on the stage. he looks so at home when he sings it and there’s golden light all around him and he’s smiling. but when it’s not the chorus the lights are a blue color and it reminds me of the ocean in the music video. he really puts so much into his singing and just his overall performance. and when he does the high note in euphoria and the golden confetti explodes into the air and shimmers in the lights.

he puts his hand to chest often when he sings like he’s feeling it in his soul. but he also jams out really cutely! he jumped around during run a lot (and yet is ridiculously stable still) and his hair is bouncy! he headbanged a little too :( at the end of run during hoseok’s part he took out his earpiece to listen to us. his part in dna with tae is so iconic!!! rapper jk!!!!!!!!! literally even just the way he sings “DNA”!!!!

he asked us if we were having fun!!!! babie :( (side note tae is SOO cute when he talks in english). also the army bomb ocean was so pretty it was a range of colors from yellow green to purple and it was this amazing gradient.

then. Then. 21st century girls. Came On. but i need to save this gushing about the song itself for the next ask. all of them gather together to jam out in the center of the stage! afterwards jk wanders around! YOU SAY YES OR NO YES OR NO WOOAAAHOHHH

but the transition to bst. unreal but im also saving that for the next ask. god and i keep talking about jk’s dancing but seriously him and the entirety of dance line are a serious force to be reckoned with. his voice when he sings his parts is so light and fluttery.

you shouldve heard me during his rap part of boy in luv. i was like “APPAAAAAAA” “EOMMAAAAAA” “PYEONJIIII” “MWONJIII” like i think those technically aren’t his lines but that whole section. and they cut straight to the bridge instead of doing the second verse and jk’s voice there especially combined with jimin and jin. and he holds the high note!!!!!!!

but his rap part in danger. hard fucking core. he’s so talented it’s unbelievable. this man does not hesitate when it comes to bangers or when it comes to headbanging.

airplane pt2. he saunters onto the stage like nobody’s business and sits and kicks back on that damn chair with his sultry ass voice. his falsetto is gorgeous when they do that part before hoseok’s airplane rap and at the end of the song. and i know it’s only part of the studio recording but when he does the “ah ah” part i lose my mind. the way he sits with the other members surrounding him just emanates this air of power and regality but almost in a casual way like “yeah we’re royalty, what about it?”

his outfit during fake love is perfect. all of the outfits are so good i could gush about them all day but alas this is a jk ask. his sleeves are see-through and he has shiny chains going across his chest harness and i’m sure you could find pictures of it but i hadn’t looked at concert pics beforehand so i was in shock at how good the outfits were. it’s like some performing beast is unleashed from jungkook during fake love. he’s absolutely in the zone and i couldn’t take my eyes off him because his presence is so strong especially when he’s in the center. it’s like he moves his body and projects his voice perfectly to the flow and energy of the song. fake love as a whole is so captivatingly intense it’s like you’re under a spell when you watch them perform it.

ok im burning out i can only write so much DSKJHSDF but the truth untold. it’s like he transforms into full angel form at this point. his voice is incredible and his harmonies and pitch and the emotion he puts into it. also everybody say thank you stylists!

he also has such an aura during mic drop. everybody does but it seriously is honestly such a great track live because the energy is dominating and in that moment you really know that they absolutely do own the whole arena and set the stage on fire. ugh! and the strength that he has during the dance break at the end of mic drop!! unreal!

also i can’t imagine genuinely truly hating so what. like i see so many people saying they hate it but you know that when you hear it irl that shit makes you JUMP and they have so much fun on stage especially jk! we like to make fun of him for his shoot dance but seeing him go across the stage enjoying himself so much makes you feel just as much joy as him :( at this point would it really be a performance of so what if he didn’t do it?

at this point i knew that so what was one of the final performances n i was like. What. because it really passed by like a blur it didn’t feel nearly as long as it supposedly took and before i knew it they were performing anpanman so i HAD to cheer up because that song is so cute. and jk is all smiley when they perform it! nose scrunches and all! he actually gets up in a normal way during namjoon’s part. his eyes are all big and sparkly and playful and it feels very boyish!!!

N THEN DURING THE ENDING MENT JOON CALLED JUNGKOOK “MISTER COOL GUY JK” AND JK WAS LIKE “cool guy!” n then like “make some nooooiiiise!!!” n he was smiling doing his cute scrunch and rewatching this like. ive said it 50 times already but he’s seriously so pretty. his eyes are lit up and his expression is bright and there’s a blue light shining on him but his EYESSSSS :((((( he has a slight accent which is rly cute but his pronunciation is also really good and it feels like you just want to hug him really tight even though he’s sweaty but like Would I Complain.

his voice in answer: love myself is so smooth it’s like sitting in a warm patch of sun with a cool breeze looking up at the sky. ok i know i said i was burning out but am i really. rewatching the videos makes me so happy. and his harmonies were so nice. and he was moving side to side really cutely! like one of those figurines you put on the dashboard of your car and they dance side to side! n he’s so full of love. they were all moving their arms side to side and the army bombs were moving along with them i want to cry watching it again it’s so weird thinking that i was actually there it felt like everyone in the audience became one with all the members on stage jk was acting cute and he and all the members were waving to everyone in the audience in the pit and the further away and upper levels of the arena.

for a really long time i’ve never been able to pinpoint the happiest moment or memory of my life everytime ive been asked about it. for lack of a better answer i always left it vague but ever since the concert i can easily say it was the happiest i’d been in a long time and possibly ever and i wouldn’t trade that feeling for anything else in the world

BTS Love Yourself Tour LA Day 2

~basically my experience at the concert before i forget everything cause im lowkey already forgetting parts of it~

~I love all of them but my bias is Jimin & my bias wrecker is Jin~

i actually wasnt planning on going to the concert but my cousin somehow managed to get a second pair of tickets even tho she already went on Day 1. Anyways my uncle asks if i want to go with her to the thursday show & I immediately say yes. So i basically only have 2 days to mentally prepare myself to see them after stanning them for like 4 years

Thursday comes, I go pick up my cousin & we get to staples around 5PM & theres so many people w/ BTS/BT21 merch. I meet up w/ my friend & the other person she went to the concert with & we chill around for a bit. I didnt have an ARMY Bomb but the other 3 did so i kept debating on getting it or not & i somehow i reasoned myself to get one.

Around 5:30 they start letting people into the venue but we’re confused on where to go & as soon as we get in I get separated from my friend but it didnt matter cause we had different seats anyways. Instead of waiting in the merch line outside I bought my lightstick from the store inside Staples where there was just a wall full of them & no line so that gave me no time to convince myself I didn’t need one. (But now im hella broke （πーπ）but having one made the concert so much better)

We go buy some snacks & head to our seats. I was so shook when I found out before the concert that we had P1 seats in row 1 but when we were actually there I was even more shook cause it was basically on the left side of the main stage in the area right after the people on the floor. By then we had 2 hours left before the concert started but they kept playing their mvs from War of Hormone era until Fake Love era on the screens (I wish that they played their mvs from before WoH & from rap line’s mix tapes). Even tho the same vids kept replaying throughout those 2 hours everyone kept screaming/singing & doing the fanchants. With only 30 min left before it started my cousin wanted McDonalds so i rushed out to get some & ate basically in 10 min. Then the concert started.

Basically throughout the concert I kept debating on whether I wanted to take good pictures, good videos, or just pay attention so i did a mixture of all 3. (Kinda wish that i only took vids & gave up on taking pics cause they weren’t that good & I was too focused on pics to give them all of my attention). So basically it started w/ a VCR of all the members & then fireworks went off & they walked out w/ outfits that made them look like princes & they started doing IDOL & it was so amazing w/ everyone cheering especially when the backup dancers came out for the last chorus part.

After they did IDOL they did their individual introductions & all of them were hyped & excited & cute & unreal & just ugghhhhh. I dont remember the order they went in & what they specifically said but i’ll just go through each members intro. I dont remember what RM said specifically but he had some of the loudest screams of the night & that continued throughout the entire concert. JHope did his “I’m your Hope!!!!! I’m your angel!!!!!! I’M......” & everyone responded w/ JHOPE!!!! & i think he said something along the lines of being excited to be back in LA but i think besides RM he spoke the most English during his time to talk. Suga did his dramatic standing there for a bit & took out his ear piece to hear ARMY scream for him & then did his intro. Jin did his flying kiss again for his intro!!! (I was kind of hoping he would have a little heart event thing like he did last tour where he took out random hearts) Jungkook’s mic wasn’t working so RM lent him his mic to introduce himself & he said “it’s been awhile” which has basically been going everywhere. I don’t remember what Jimin & V did or said but they were so beautiful IRL. & since Jimin is my bias i just kept thinking he looks so good w/ his ashy brown/blonde hair & contacts. While doing their introductions Jungkook kept trying to fix his mic & eventually had to go backstage to fix & when he came back all of them were like “Are you ready Jungkook?”

Then they did Save Me & I’m Fine. Watching them do this stage on like MCountdown or any of the music shows doesn’t give these songs & choreo justice & the transition between Save Me to I’m Fine was so smooth. Everyone did the fanchants w/ all their names & everything for Save Me. I was so excited to hear I’m Fine cause it was one of my fav songs off Answer cause of Yoongi’s rap & he went in on his part & it just made my life complete hearing his rapping live. They performed Magic Shop next & that was more fan interaction. They mostly stayed on the main stage & a little bit on the runway towards the extended stage. V & Jungkook I think kept looking towards our section/area & all of them kept waving their hands towards the upper levels. & everyone responded w/ “I’ll show you” when it was the “so show me” part. & Jimin’s vocals during his high note was sooooo goood

JHope’s & Jungkook’s VCR played next as they went backstage so I was getting hyped for the all the solo stages that were gonna be happening. JHope’s solo was first & just his dancing was amazing & it just looked like he was having a good time & he kept jumping around & throwing hearts but also dancing at the same time & he was just fluid while doing everything while singing & rapping his song. Euphoria was next & of course cause it’s the golden maknae so his stage was amazing. (I was tempted to do the ‘annyeonghaseyo joneun bangtan sonyeondan hwanggeum maknae jeon jungkook imnida’ meme thing that Byron started but i was way too focused on his stage + plus i would mess it up anyways) His stage really was Euphoria for me

They all came out w/ white outfits for their I Need U + Run stage. They actually didnt do the choreo for either song. I Need U was more on the main stage & as it was ending they went towards the extended stage where they did Run. Run was so hyped & they kept jumping & spinning around the ‘Run, Run, Run’ & they kept doing fanservice towards the pit area. I really wish that i recorded during this but i just ended up taking a bunch of pics. They just seemed really happy during this part & they kept smiling & everyone was extra loud during the English parts

Then it was RM’s & Jimin’s VCR & solo stage time. Jimin was so cute during the VCR & he came out & did Serendipity (the FULL VERSION) & I lost my shit for my boy. I knew he’s a good performer but seeing his dancing & singing just made it more real. He’s so fluid while dancing & his voice is amazing & just the amount of people that were singing his song made me so proud of him. His stage also had bubbles instead of confetti like some of the other members & it just made his stage more ethereal. He also had a part in the choreo that involved the floor & everyone lost their shit when that happened. RM came out w/ this long blue jacket that he lowkey kept making it come off one his shoulders at the start of his stage like Jimin’s “accident” during BST. But again everyone was hyped & we all did the “saram, saram, saram & I live so I love” His rapping was great & then his singing part came & we just lost it...but then we lost it again when the rest of the members came to join him for the last part of the song

Then it was time for DNA & then their medley of other songs. During DNA the fanchants were on point & Jimin kept throwing hearts around when it was his part & Jin did another flying kiss. They did a diff medley from Day 1 & this was their more lit medley w/ Attack on Bangtan, Boyz with Fun, & Baepsae, & Dope, which just made them more hyped & let them more fun on stage. Honestly they’re was so much going on it was hard to focus on everything but there are so many memorable parts. Like at the end of Attack on Bangtan they were all fanning Jungkook. Jungkook was doing the shoot dance on the runway towards the extended stage. Hobi was lit the entire time & there was time where he just kept dancing towards our section. Namjoon was also feeling himself during one of the songs & kept dancing. They were all just rude during Baepsae I can’t. & Jimin did another heart at the end of Dope

After that they did Airplane pt.2 & i live for the choreo w/ the mics. I loved the mariachi part + just when they kept naming all the different cities. & then it was V’s turn for his solo & he had the VCR to himself & he did the choreo w/ the coat & masks & his deep voice got me. They performed Fake Love & Jimin had an “accident” w/ his shirt & Jungkook was rude w/ his shirt lifting part & the fanchants were sooooooo goooooddddd again.

The last solo stages were Suga’s & Jin’s. Suga’s song is my fav out of the Trivias & he just started his stage by lying on a couch but then he got up & did his choreo & ooooohhhhhhh boooooyyyyy HIS RAPPING & SINGING OOOHHH GODDDDDD how can people say no one cheered for his stage the first day. Before Epiphany even started everyone was chanting KIM SEOKJIN & the stage opened up to him playing the piano. Just his vocals & high notes were on point that night. How dare BigHit deprive this man of the lines he deserves. There was a part were he was walking up the stairs to an elevated stage & everyone started chanting KIM SEOKJIN as he walked up them. & then he finished out his song w/ those high notes. Honestly Jin’s solo stage might have been my fav solo stage

The rest of vocal line came out & performed The Truth Untold. This was probably my favorite stage of the whole concert cause everyone was singing the entire song. Their vocals & harmonies were unreal & they were on this raised platform where at the end petals fell down on them & made them look ethereal. Rap lines turn was next & they performed Tear. Lowkey I didn’t know the lyrics to this song that much but I was still hyped. Then they announced their last song was Mic Drop & again it was lit again especially w/ that dance break.

Their ending VCR was played & everyone kept chanting BTS as we waited for their encore stage. We had ARMY Time & took out the slogan banners that said “if we’re with BTS, even an endless maze is paradise” They came out w/ ARMY Bombs & V had these huge glasses that I didnt expect for him to have & sang So What & Anpanman & they went crazy on stage again & at the end of So What they messed w/ Jimin’s hair & V kept patting his butt/side where his Army Bomb was. Anpanman = lit & fun. Jungkook was extra & did the thing where he laid down on the floor & didnt use his hands to get up

They had their final ment. They were talking about the banners we held out for them & leaned hella close towards the pit & Jin gave a thumbs up to the crowd when he read what it said. They kept saying ARMY was the best & we are their superheros. Again, I think Hobi spoke the most English during his time to talk & he had this little bag w/ his sticker on it & he asked if we wanted it & everyone yelled out YES!!! LOL & he said he was so happy for being there & for having 2 more shows. When it was Jimin’s turn he kept doing random poses when he saw he was on the screen & he thanked us for making their album #1 on Billboard & he did more hearts. Jungkook had this cute head bobbing thing as he listened to us scream & just thanked us again. Jin & his kiss thing AGAIN. He also had 4 mini ARMY Bomb rings on his hand that he was showing off & then Suga stuck his hand near Jin’s face to show off his Suga rings that he’s so proud of. Jin is as much a fan of ARMYs as we are of him. V talked slowly so that he could pronounce everything he wanted to say right & wished everyone to have sweet dreams. Suga looked so happy just looking at the crowd. He talked about a LA Dodgers player LOL & just said thank you. RM had the loudest screams during his final ment & he was flustered with the response. & the boys kept hyping him up & Jimin & V messed w/ his face & he had to quiet us down so he could say what he wanted. He talked about back in 2014 when V, Jungkook, & Jimin were handing out invitations to random people on the street to come to their show & KCON at Staples when they were only guests but now they’re here for their own show for 4 days cause of ARMY. Then they had their actual final song Answer: Love Myself & they kept waving their ARMY Bombs around so we could follow them. Then they each walked back towards the main stage & took their final bow.

This was soooo long. I didn’t expect to go the concert at all & gave up on trying to go months ago. But I guess I’m hella lucky. This just made me love them so much more & I wish I could go to another concert day or just another concert in general. I feel like I didn’t spend that much attention on Suga & Jungkook & I REGRET IT SO MUCH BUT I LOVE ALL OF THEM BTS I LOVE YOU 💜

hey kids it’s storytime

someone sent me a message asking what it’s like attending a bts concert and god all this concert hype is making me remember the Struggle™️ of actually attending...

y’all think when you go to a concert, you’ll meet some army friends? FUCK it literally took me all my Mental Willpower not to stab a bitch because armeries can really get fucking in10se man... i remember fucking lining up for my army bomb, and this lil bitch (she was probs 10-11... definitely a tweenie bopper) shoved my hand out of the way and waved 2000 pesos in front of the seller’s face (that’s like $40 for you americans... which, by the way, is a lot of money for filipinos to be waving around) and the seller JUST TAKES IT EVEN THOUGH I HAD BEEN STANDING IN LINE FOR MAYBE 20 MINUTES

THEN!!! so okay the army bomb stand is a different line from the rest of the merch right? so i’m like “okay, that was a shitty experience but i really want the wings tour shirt so i guess i gotta die!!” but THE THING about the concert sellers, they fucking DONT ANNOUNCE IF SHIT IS SOLD OUT so y’all will just have to line up for ten million years to find out if shit is available or not. me, being the no nonsense type of person that i am, tries to go to one of the merchants who happens to just be sitting on her ass to ask if shit is available. so i’m like:

“hey ma’am, are the wings tour shirts still available?”

bitch looks me up and down (i was looking very Ugly™️ and i was essentially wearing pajamas because i had to sneak out and pretend i was sleeping at my friend’s house so i didn’t look very *conyo voice* RICH) and just says “can’t answer.”

AND I’M ALL LIKE!! BTICNDSNJ I’LL FUCKING DECK YOU

in the end, i don’t get my shirt because the concert is gonna start in like 40 minutes and i wasn’t gonna risk MISSING THE FUCKING NOT TODAY INTRO so i yeet outta there right

ANYWAY so i get to my seat and so the ph army fanbase arranged a purple/green ocean thing + banner for my concert right? OKAY so i get to my seat. and this bitch beside me stole my fucking banner and im just like!! why the fuck do you need two!! luckily, one of the ph army fanbase helpers (?) was walking around so i asked for another one. besides, ms. bitch who sat beside me didn’t even fucking know the fanchant she just kept screaming JEON JUNGKOOK at the end of the chant smh

tl;dr everything was shit but i got to see bts so it was highkey worth it. the end!!

#HSAJDHJA just needed to rant sorry #ANYWAY ask me for concert tips if u want i got plenty of those #attending kpop concerts... is a different Experience from normal concerts okay #i attended an exo concert before too... and lets just say... im not going back... HAJSDHJASHD #zee talks

summary of monsta x in sf: year 2!!

no one asked for this but it’s for the Memories!

my friend and i waited in line since 10 and met this lady who explained the whole wristband and stupid lottery thing to us

we later found out neither of those applied to us bc we were p3

also met a couple girls in front of us who also had p3 and we basically lost our positions in line bc we thought we had to go through the wristband process too bc we had p3 ga

also met a few girls behind us who were SO SWEET AND COOL AND FRIENDLY and good dancers too like wow go off sisters

and lots of mbbs were giving out free stuff! i would look at them again but it’s gonna make me sad :’)

anyway the whole line thing was such a process but eventually we get inside!! and got a pretty decent spot where i could still kinda see (i’m 5′2) and my friend could escape if she needed air (she’s claustrophobic)

started with jealousy, be quiet, and beautiful!! so hype!!

our fanchants - strong!!

their stage presence - everything!!

the tech effects - AMAZING

they introduced themselves after those first few songs (their english!!! so good!!!!!) and they were like we saw u guys waiting outside weren’t u cold?? like sis,,, yes i was but it’s WORTH IT

and jooheon said when he first came here he said he could imagine himself living here :’((( i guess he likes our cold ass weather

they also asked who came last year and who’s here for the first time and hyungwon raised his hand bc he was in the hospital last year and OOF girly almost teared up!! so glad he was able to make it this year :’)

then they went into gravity (sooooooo soft) and tropical night and OOF

they talked again in groups after this so that the others could change

first was kihyun jooheon and im and they were talking about mbb’s groove during tropical night so they tried to match our groove and jooheon was beatboxing and kihyun got embarrassed and ran off the stage to change LMAO

and then wonho shownu hyungwon and minhyuk came on and they were like,,, i think they were talking about groove?? so they danced too!! and hyungwon beatboxed but it was so cute bc he turned around facing upstage to do it i think he was shy LMAO

hyungwon also like mimicked wonho flexing in front of the mirror he’s so funny

he spoke a lot of english!! it was really cute!! (can you tell he’s my bias LMAOOO)

anyway everyone came back and then they performed crazy in love and all in and BITCH!!!! SO FUCKING HYPE!!!!

and then they played a video while they changed for their performance stages!!

kihyun wonho and minhyuk’s stage was the cutest fucking shit and i’m gonna ignore that someone dryfired an arrow bc omf my heart gave its biggest uwu during their song

and then shownu and jooheon did versace on the floor and,,, sister was NOT READY

SHOWNU WENT OFF

JOOHEON’S SINGING WAS SO BEAUTIFUL

SHOWNU’S SHIRT WAS LIKE HALF BUTTONED

AND THEY BOTH RIPPED THEIR JACKETS OFF FOR THE DANCE BREAK AND JOOHEON WAS WEARING A TANK TOP AND SISTER WAS NOT READY FOR THE GUN SHOW

he also said sf mbb know how to act (smh that’s right we do this is a PSA to all the creepy disrespectful mbb who follow them and don’t give them space during their free time and also to those fake ass hoes at the wild 949 event who tried to make them touch their boobs - LET THEM LIVE, SHOW SOME RESPECT, DON’T BE GROSS. that is all)

but yeah,,, just like that,,, the best night of my life was over

BUYING TICKETS

each venue has different official ticket distributors. for example, the concert for staples center LA has AXS as their official ticket distributor, meanwhile oracle arena has ticketmaster. ITS ALWAYS JUST THE TWO: AXS and Ticketmaster. tbh i really don’t know whats better at first since i’ve never bought one. many armys prefer ticketmaster and vice versa but let me tell you!! before the ticket selling for oracle arena, I tried practicing buying tickets for the LA concert dates thru AXS and actually got sumn! i think it was a p3 seat that costs only like $120 with tax but i didn’t got it cause i’m from north cali and LA is too far for me so i really did set my mind on the oakland concert only and let me tell you sis, that was a dumb move!! the date for the ticket selling for oakland came and i didn’t snag any ticket from ticketmaster and i was actually pissed. but i’ve had plan B and that is to buy from stubhub. yes, stubhub which is another ticket reseller but sells ticket at an expensive price. when the sold out sign went out for oakland i quickly went to stubhub and got a p6 ticket with a price thats 4x more expensive than the original price (which is only $60) and i lowkey cried cause i didn’t got p1 (which is my planned seat) but actually thankful cause i’m still gonna see them anyways but just far away. there’s many tutorials about buying tickets made by armys on yt and tbh i didn’t follow any of them lmao. i guess its just bad luck to me that day. it’s really chaos during ticket selling so stay strong and be patient with the process. some armys on twitter are selling tickets but of course it would be better if you could buy on your own with the official price and not the overpriced ones. there’s also lot of scammers during ticket selling period cause they know some fans are desperate and those are the type of peeps you wanna be careful with.

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE CONCERT

finally its tomorrow!!! i was kinda nervous and excited at the same time but kinda relieved cause i had a friend (shoutout to jaja 💜 ) whos going with me too. we only just met at twitter and its gonna be our first meeting too on the day of the concert lmao. i didn’t mind going with her cause its her first time also so i have someone with me who is on the same boat as I am. it would be nice if you had a friend/s with you whos going also. if not, its alright.

on the night i did some beauty preparations. of course i wanna look stress-free on the concert day lol. i did prepare the bag that i’m gonna use (which was a drawstring bag) and some essentials. i was gonna prepare on the morning on the concert day cause i don’t wanna be stressed yet. make sure you know the venue map (bighit posts it at twitter the day before the concert) so you can know where will be the merchandise line will be located, where to buy the lightstick, and the photo booths and stuff. plan ahead the merchs you’re gonna buy tomorrow and have extra money in case. planning really helps. plan merchs that you want in case the merch you want got sold out.

memorize fanchants if you can. tbh i didn’t memorized all the fanchants and i’m a little guilty lol. it would be really appreciated on the concert day i promise you.

have a good sleep and relax. excitements gonna keep you awake but if you can’t sleep try taking sleeping pills. it works for me when i can’t sleep the night when i’m super excited on the next day event lmao.

CONCERT DAY

this is it! the day i’m looking forward all my life lol. its such a good day to wake up to as I think that i’m gonna meet bts at night. i woke up at like 6:30 am cause i had to drop my brother at his school. i did some errands at the morning and didn’t have the opportunity to sleep again which made me worried cause its gonna be a busy day but i’m confident cause i got 8 hours of sleep at night. i got home at 9:30 and started preparing my stuffs.

WHATS IN MY BAG?

-plastic water bottles (not the hard containers like hydroflask, they don’t allow it at the venue)

-binoculars (an essential for me cause i’m gonna seat at the very back TT)

-army bomb ver.3 (i’m planning to pair it at the venue booth so i won’t have any problem in case i didn’t do the right steps to pair it for concert mode)

-gum

(this is all whats in my bag that day. i didn’t bring any banners but you can if you want but there’s a limit on the size. see the venue rules for the allowed banner dimensions)

OUTFIT

check the weather before wearing anything. if its very hot, wear light clothing and if its cold, wear appropriate clothes. it was 60 degrees that day so i just wore a pink sweatshirt and pants with pockets. i was originally planning to wear leggings cause it looks more better with the sweatshirt but i can’t tolerate bottoms without pockets LOL. so i just decided on simple pants. i thought about this outfit cause i wanna be comfortable as possible. i don’t recommend high heels but if you’re used to it why not but its not really recommendable. everybody wants to slay and there’s nothing wrong with that but make sure you’re also comfortable so you can really enjoy the show :) i did wore RJ headband to show support to jin and it really looks adorable! many armys complimented me about it when i arrived on the venue hehe

TRANSPORTATION

i just live near oakland (30-45 minutes away) so the transportation was pretty easy for me. i do have a driver’s license but my parents didn’t allowed me to drive to oakland cause they told me its not safe lol which is i kinda understand plus i don’t wanna worry about the parking. i went to oracle by uber and it was really pricey but it just depends on everyone. my parents didn’t have the opportunity to drop me off there cause they have work that day. i left the house at like 12:40pm and arrived at oracle after an hour. the traffic wasn’t that bad yet but i left home early cause i didn’t want to get stuck at the traffic plus i’m still gonna line up for the merch.

MERCH LINE

i automatically lined up to the merch section as soon as the uber driver dropped me off at the gate lmao. the line was long when i arrived but to my relief its moving fast. if i mean fast, i’m not kidding. kudos to the bts crew and staffs. before you line up a staff is gonna give you a paper, more like a merch list where you will check up the merch you want along with the quantity (theres a limit quantity on each item). i think its a really good idea so that the line wouldn’t take too long. once its your turn you’re gonna give the paper to them and they would bring the item and calculate the price overall. i think my overall transaction was less than a minute. it was really fast but many of the items i want are sold out already :( but its alright, still thankful i got some.

also shoutout to kathy! 💜 i met her on the merch line. it was awkward at first but she was really friendly. she told me she was going to the concert alone cause her friends didn’t got a ticket which is kinda sad cause who tf wants to go alone to the concert right? plus she was wearing a mang headband while im wearing rj so our combination looks really cute 💜 too bad we don’t have a photo together but i got her twitter username. were still communicating till today which is kind of adorable hehe~

HOURS BEFORE THE CONCERT

after buying merchs, me and my friend Jaja got to meet for the first time! it was crazy finding each other but it was really fun haha. here’s our photo together when we met:

after meeting we went straight to the army bomb pairing booth and got our army bomb ready for the concert which took less than 5 minutes. the staff who paired ours was very friendly (she was korean).

after that that’s the time when we were both curious on where to go. we decided to line up to the bts studio but backed out cause it took long plus were kinda worried where we will eat for dinner.

we tried asking some security guards on which was the nearest fastfood place that we can walk over but he was rude. really rude lmao. that’s what i also noticed on the guard gates on oracle, they were all hella rude. and since the guard’s answer was useless all i did was just to google map instead and found panda express and in-n-out as the nearest fastfood on the venue but we need to ride on uber cause its not really safe to walk around oakland. we got uber and arrived and ate at in-n-out. thanks jaja for treating me <3

we just told each other our stories and got to know each other. we also talked how we found out about bts and became an army and stuffs like that. i’m really glad i met her cause her life is very similar to mine so we both can relate to each other’s stories.

before 5 pm we went back to oracle again, rode uber and arrived safe. after that we went to the north entrance wherein all entrances will open at 5:30pm. it was a smart move that we went there early so we can just chill and won’t have to worry about the time.

BAG INSPECTION and SCANNING OF TICKETS

the line became long after 3 minutes when we arrived in the line. the line was fast enough. my 2 sealed bottled water got confiscated TT but everything went on smoothly. we went straight to another line again which is the last line for the ticket scanning and that’s where it really hit me that i’m gonna see BTS!!! i started taking photos and my heart was really beating so fast. when the venue was letting people in the line was fast too. after that me and jaja got in, we both screamed and jumped together. she was almost crying and i was just there still silent at the fact that it really is the day that i’m gonna see my inspirations hours later.

after we came inside we went straight to the food section and bought water bottles which costs $7 per bottle lmao. always prepare for expensive stuff inside the arena cause i’m not joking, it really is expensive. we had our bathroom breaks and went to our seats!! jaja and i had different seats so we separated our ways and went to our sections. her ticket was on the left side of the arena while i’m on the right side.

it was easy finding my seat plus there’s gonna be a banner on each seat so be careful not to touch those cause i accidentally brushed through a seat and the banner dropped and almost got lost (clumsy me) but good thing i found it and returned it. the armys inside the arena wasn’t full yet when i got to my seat. here’s the view while i was waiting:

the vcr was playing some bts music videos on repeat. its in your preference if you would sing along or do the fanchants but i stayed quiet while waiting cause i was reserving my voice for the real show later. i charged my phone with my power bank to make sure my phone will stay good while recording some videos. it was really fun and you can feel the excitement in the air. my seatmate was kinda cool but i didn’t talk to her that much (sorry i’m awkward hahaha)

the show was getting nearer and nearer and the crowd started to get louder too. when 8:00 pm hit the clock everyone was hfskjdhfskjdfhsjbfkjsdgfdskbnglksfgbksjgns including me! the last mv that showed before the show was DNA and everyone sang. when the lights went out, we all went MBDJSGDKJHFJSGFKJHGFSJFDGHAJKFGSHFGKSJ

THE SHOW

this is the part i’m not gonna explain that much LOL. i had my army bomb ready, my binocular on my neck, my phone on my other hand and my voice on full volume to cheer my babies. when idol came i thought i was gonna have a heart attack LMAO. i quickly grabbed my binocular and damn they don’t look real. they’re too perfect to look real OJO angels indeed.

be careful of your neighbors when your cheering, you might not notice your hitting them. as namjoon say, be mindful of your neighbors so everyone can enjoy the show :)

also, stay hydrated! i drink water from time to time so my throat wouldn’t be that dry.

AFTER THE SHOW

i was a lil sad when the show ended but it was literally the best night of my life. i knew i had to deal with pcd (post concert depression) after but i just stayed happy throughout the night even after the show. jaja and i went out the stadium and got an uber ride. i was thankful cause even if its late they were still uber drivers around there.

HOME

when i got home my dad was waiting at the parking and he greeted me happily. he asked about my experience and the merchs i bought and i quickly told him about the overall experience. he told me he was happy cause i got to be really genuine happy for once in my life and i’m glad he supports me regarding my fangirling life. after i showed him the merchs and videos i went to my room and THAT’S WHEN I REALLY REALIZE ITS ALL OVER NOW TT. i got emotional but i didn’t really cry. i can’t cry cause i still have work the next day LMFAO i don’t want my eyes to be puffy af. work was ok the next day. i was a little blank but good thing it wasn’t that busy at work but i feel really tired.

OVERALL, the concert experience was truly amazing. words weren’t enough to describe how amazing it was. if only i can time travel i would repeat it without a doubt but of course, life must go on. the only thing that sucks is that you have to deal with PCD but i believe everyone will carry on. i hope every army will get to experience bts concerts atleast once cause believe me sis, its really an amazing experience and you only live once~
