Girl Dad! Nanami headcanons
It's soft hours for Nanami, babes <3
It's also missing Nanami hours, babes </3
Tumblr media
Nanami learns to do your little girl's hair through Youtube videos whenever you're not home to teach him how. Sometimes, they can be fussy and refuse to sit still but Kento has the patience of a saint and never, ever gets frustrated with them.
On his days off, he wakes up the girls and teaches them how to make pancakes. He smiles and laughs gently when they mess up the portions of the batter or when they accidentally burn one side of the pancake but he assures them it's okay- they're just children after all!
He understands that while he has a lot of money from his previous job as a sorcerer, he knows he can get top quality food and ingredients but sometimes he treats them to street food in markets or McDonald's when he picks them up from school because they're everyday things that every child should experience.
Speaking of his previous sorcerer job, he keeps them out of that line of life as much as possible. He's risked his life on multiple occasions before you two even got married, he's not about to lose his life or risk yours and your children's lives because of a curse.
Hates when people say things like "Wow, it must be rough living in a house with so much estrogen!" He hardly uses the word "hate" in any given circumstance but this is an exception. He calmly replies with "Loving my girls and my S/O is the best part of my life or any lives I could've lived."
As they're growing up, he can't help but feel sentimental at times. For example, at one of their birthday parties, he'll capture a picture of them surrounded by their friends and he stares at it with small tears in his eyes. Or when they walk the stage at their graduation and wave at him when they're handed their diploma. He holds a gentle and loving smile when he's swaying with them in his arms on their wedding day during a father-daughter dance- the exact same he did when they were born and he held them in his arms with tears on the verge of spilling.
And eventually when they move out, he shows up to their house holding your hand and helping you up the steps as he greets a little girl- his granddaughter- who's just as happy to see you two.

! disclaimer - This story is a work of fiction. I do not own BTS and the description of them in this story does not want to reflect nor portray them in real life.
Crystal chandeliers, shining glasses of the finest wine, and chords intoning classical melodies. Fingers intertwining as gowns kept swaying, strangers chattering about politics, war, and sometimes about passions, literature, and secrets…
Overly-dressed up women, whose make-up was classy and whose voices were soft, whispered into each other’s ears as young men passed by.
The high society, the aristocracy - the world you were fated to be born in and to live in.
The corset you wore was too tight on your abdomen since you could not eat more of the cake. You always finished dessert - and the sponge cake had strawberries inside, so this was very unlike you. You were sitting down - back straight and shoulders relaxed as your mother had taught you - while the other young women danced in the hall. You could also see your father talking to another short, long-bearded man, and you had hoped the topic was indeed not you.
That was the first, and probably the last, time you had agreed to accompany your father to a Grand Ball; he perfectly knew you didn’t fancy celebrations or big events, but he had insisted so much over the past month your mother had begged you to go with him.
“Just this once, darling. You know how men are, especially your Father!”
You had convinced yourself it was part of her plan to finally get rid of him for a night. Even the Queens needed a day off, and you were aware of your father’s antics: the King was really needy, and loved being taken care of… Just like a boy.
Nevertheless, you could no longer lie to yourself: you strongly suspected something else had led your father to this event. You had just turned twenty-one years old, so you were still too young to marry, weren’t you?
A few months before your birthday, your father had requested to speak to you about an important topic concerning the crown, and you knew that he wished for you to find a man to marry, so that you could inherit his place on the throne. However, as soon as the word arranged left his lips, you had already stormed off. You were not going to spend the rest of your days with someone you barely knew, and didn’t like.
After that discussion. your father never brought up the matter publicly, but you perfectly knew he had already informed your mother about it. To you, it wasn’t fair: they had married for love, and not for the crown. Their marriage was not decided by someone else aside from them, so you thought you deserved the same treatment they got when they were young.
What your father did not know was that you already loved someone. You knew that if he ever found out about your relationship, he would be furious, but since your teenage years, you had become cunning and knew how to lie.
Knowing how to lie and avoiding getting caught were two plus points, especially for a princess whose life got constantly suffocated by people who wanted to pry into your privacy. Not that you had one, of course.
Kim Taehyung. He was your bodyguard, the person you trusted most in the world. Just imagining his face sent shivers down your spine, certainly not with a negative implication. From the first day your father introduced you to him when you were only sixteen, you had fallen head over heels for him.
For most of your time together, your love had remained hidden, mainly because, in front of everyone's eyes, Taehyung remained formal and silent. However, when you were alone together - although it happened rarely - he revealed his true colourful identity: he talked about art, how much he loved to paint and how you, in his eyes, were the perfect subject to depict.
"If only I could, I would paint you. That way, even when we are far apart, I would be able to admire you as many times as I want."
Taehyung was an extremely gifted and articulate speaker. He always used the perfect words for every situation, and his voice, so deep it made your heart flutter, made it easy for him.
Maybe it was the way he squinted his eyes every time he laughed or the way his gaze was always focused on you. But you knew you loved him.
What you didn't know, however, was whether he loved you.
You sharply inhaled, moving the remaining piece of cake with the silver fork, debating whether to eat it and feel sick or leave it there.
“Is this not to your liking?”
A male voice suddenly awoke you from your thoughts, and you turned your head in order to connect it to a face. Your heart skipped a beat when you finally saw him: he was beautiful, really. And not the kind of beauty that intoxicates you, that weighs you down, but a beauty so delicate that it leaves you speechless for a moment.
“I hate it.”
You replied, batting your eyelashes repeatedly, as it would have been impolite not to answer him immediately. A proper young lady never stutters - you could hear your mother’s stern tone in your head.
Instantly, you noticed his dark-brown eyes, and you swore you could lose yourself in them.
His full lips curved into a heart-shaped smile - different from the ones you were used to seeing, those fake, mechanical laughs - and his eyes shrank to pretty half-moons.
“The Ball, or the cake?”
His question was innocent, yet you could hint at a spark of curiosity in his gaze. You took a brief moment to admire him: his dark hair was neatly combed back, and he wore a slightly unbuttoned white silk shirt and black trousers that seemed to fit him a little tight.
He did not let you answer, allowing himself to sit by your side without asking any permission. You were breathless for seconds that seemed to last almost too long as his hand gently grasped your wrist, with such delicacy that you seemed not to feel his touch.
His fingertips squeezed lightly, until he brought the back of your hand to his rosy lips, but without making any contact with your skin.
The only contact that never ceased, however, was that of his eyes on you. Your ears seemed to stop hearing the music and the room all around seemed to have emptied out completely as the man in front of you consumed you with his eyes.
“Jimin, Park Jimin.” He announced, and his name echoed into your head. “It is an honour to finally make your acquaintance, Princess.”
“You already knew who I was.”
You let go of your grip on your fork with the hand you still had free, before making a brief bow as you lowered your gaze.
“Oh no, Princess. I ask you not to bow to me."
You furrowed an eyebrow before a small smile appeared on your lips. You knew it was rude to smile like that, but his words reminded you of a quote in a book which your mother read to you as a child.
"You remind me of someone." You murmured, retracting the hand Jimin still held close to his lips. Thus, you remembered the gesture and your cheeks blushed.
"Someone you like?"
Your smile became bigger, but you tried hard to hide it by bringing a hand towards your lips.
"Park Jimin, did you by any chance come here to court me?"
"Would that be considered a sin, Princess?"
The air in the hall became strangely heavier. Either the presence of that unknown prince had caused a strange effect on you, or the corset was really so tight that it took your breath away.
Out of the corner of your eye, you glanced at your father who - at the same moment - looked in your direction, pointing at you with open arms.
"My daughter! My beloved child, she always precedes me in everything!"
He pronounced this aloud and, as his timbre was very deep, the words were heard by many in the audience. The man next to your father, the one he had been talking to all evening, stood a few steps behind him as they both approached the table.
"King Park, this is my beautiful daughter, Y/N." He gave the man a resounding pat on the shoulder as soon as he was close enough. "And I guess this young man is your son, Jimin."
You remained in complete silence as your eyes moved between the two men. You were confused by the situation, yet when you turned to Jimin, he did not have the same expression. He seemed... relieved, by their presence.
"It is an honour, Your Highness. I was fortunate enough to meet your daughter before the appointed meeting, I hope it is not an inconvenience."
Appointed meeting, those words echoed in your mind.
"Of course not, why should it be? That is something to celebrate!"
Still sitting far too composedly, you watched them talk as though you were not there to hear them. You felt like a ghost trying to participate in a conversation,
You parted your lips slightly, attempting to speak.
However, the dark blond-haired boy next to you interrupted your attempt. His voice was calm, and the words he used were always well thought out as if he had studied a script.
"I would be grateful, Your Highness, if you would allow me to ask your daughter for a dance."
As he said this, you couldn't help but keep your eyes locked on him. His attitude was certainly that of a prince, but there was something about him - something extremely mysterious - that you still couldn't pick up on.
"I-"
The words came out of your mouth automatically, but you still had so many questions on the tip of your tongue that remained unanswered.
"But, of course, Prince Jimin. Y/N would be pleased, wouldn't you, my daughter?"
No, you were definitely not pleased. At that very moment, you just wanted to run away. Like a lost puppy, you looked for a familiar face in the surrounding hall hoping to see Taehyung. As you looked for help that would never come, the three men kept watching you, waiting for an answer.
You had two choices: say no and disappoint your father, then endure his complaints on the long ride home, or say yes to give him five minutes of satisfaction.
Your approval wouldn't have led to consequences, would it?
"I would be delighted." You lied, batting your long eyelashes several times, something you had learned to do to show interest. You knew men liked that.
Your father gave poor King Park another resounding pat on the shoulder, inviting him to leave the two of you alone.
Jimin seemed satisfied with your response as he gave you a sincere smile. You did likewise, before rising from your chair - which had become uncomfortable - allowing your dress to regain its shape. Your thighs had gone numb from sitting for at least two hours watching the guests dance, so - as if you had suddenly forgotten how to walk - your legs gave out.
A pair of hands grabbed your hips, making sure to hold them firmly, and when you looked up, you found yourself dangerously close to the blond man's face. Your hands rested on his, grabbing his fingers to loosen their grip on you. You noticed that these were incredibly cold and not too big - not like Taehyung's.
"Forgive me, I shouldn't have. Are you alright, Princess?"
"I'm fine, I apologise, I don't know what came over me." You took a step back, moving further away from the man, as if you weren't going to be dancing together anytime soon.
An awkward silence fell between the two of you. Your face was slightly lowered and your eyes stared at the shiny floor tiles. You could not imagine the expression Jimin might have had: was he perhaps impatient? Or, like you, was he feeling embarrassed?
"Don't you think it's better to put embarrassment aside, Princess?" Of the two, Jimin was the first to break the silence. "After all, we have to get used to each other's presence."
You raised your head abruptly, and your pearl earrings tinkled from the movement. Your heart drummed in your chest and your insides twisted. Repeating the phrase in your head, you tried to understand its meaning.
"What does it mean?"
Your voice came out broken, it happened to you whenever you felt anxious.
"Come on, Princess, don't play dumb. Our wedding is only a few months away now."
Your breath began to get shorter and shorter, as if someone was tightening the strings of your corset increasingly tighter, and a hole was opening up in your chest. You felt as if your lungs were being torn from your chest and the world around you was spinning all too fast. Jimin's face contorted into a worried expression and you could see his mouth move, but every sound was muffled.
"I must… I must go and freshen up."
You didn't know what tone you had used, and you didn't even know if the prince had heard your words, but within moments you had already drifted off, disappearing into the crowd of people. To the unfamiliar eye, it would have been difficult to recognise you. But those who knew you well - on the other hand - would have found you instantly.
Regardless of your appearance or posture, you entered a hall with few light sources, the majority of which was in darkness. Your right hand was resting on your chest, clutching the hard material of your corset, and you wished you could just rip it off.
Soon, a veil of tears blurred your vision even more, causing everything around you to become less clear. You did not even apologise when your shoulder bumped into someone else, continuing undaunted on your way.
The person you had hit, however, stopped and turned their gaze, watching you flee. They continued to watch you until you turned a corner, disappearing into the darkness. Having found a quiet place, you slid down a wall until you found yourself sitting on the cold floor. The room you were in was dark - the dim light of the moon coming from the one large window. The room was empty, only for a few abandoned paintings leaning against the walls.
A thousand questions tormented your thoughts. The idea that your father had given you away to a stranger made you nauseous, and the more you thought about it, the more the cake you had eaten rose up in your stomach. You brought your hands to your mouth, choking back a sob, while your breath was still too short to allow you to think clearly.
You were alone. You felt completely abandoned to a cruel fate, a fate you had not chosen but had to undertake - whether you wanted to or not. Disbelief gave way to anger, and anger soon became disappointment.
Your father had sold you and most likely felt no remorse. You ran your hands through your hair, forgetting the fact that it had been carefully arranged, therefore ruining your hairstyle.
Breathe, Y/N, breathe. But even though you kept telling yourself to calm down, it was impossible. You wished you could escape, hide your identity and finally live the life you had dreamed of.
But your Red Thread of Fate had been tied to the Crown since your birth.
"Y/N!"
A familiar voice resounded in the room and all was silent for a few seconds until quick footsteps approached. The figure knelt right in front of you and - without hesitation - grabbed both your wrists so that your gaze focused on them. Your eyes immediately locked onto a dark-brown pair, looking at you intensely.
"Y/N, it's me, Taehyung. It's me."
Serenity. Kim Taehyung brought serenity into every place he stepped.
You watched his face fully illuminated by the moonshine, and took it all in. His black hair was slightly wavy and fell over his face, framing it perfectly.
If Hell had his face, then you were ready to burn for Eternity.
"It's all right, love. I'm here."
Taehyung didn't waste any time sitting on the ground, picking you up by the hips so that you were resting on his legs. An arm firmly wrapped around your shoulders while a hand gently caressed one of your cheeks.
The warmth of his body caused a feeling of cosiness in you, yet your chest still felt like it was about to implode. "I- I can't breathe."
He instantly seemed to realise what the problem was, because his eyes focused on your chest. Suddenly, his hand reached down all the way to your breast until he grasped some of the threads that bound your corset from the front: he pulled with such force that the seams tore and - finally - all the pressure released. Like a newborn child, you began to breathe, and after a few seconds warm tears wet your cheeks.
You were incredibly scared, still in shock. But Taehyung held you close, gently, almost fearful of breaking you like a porcelain doll. You felt his warm breath in the crook of your neck and his scent intoxicated you completely, making you forget everything.
Your breasts were partly exposed, but you could never feel embarrassed in front of him. Not in front of the man who had seen every last detail of you, not in front of the man who had explored every inch of your body.
"Please don't let me go."
Taehyung hummed and continued to hold you in his arms while giving you a concerned look. His eyebrows were furrowed and you knew he needed an explanation as soon as possible. But Taehyung was also aware that you were still unable to give it to him.
"I won't ever let you go. But now I need you to calm down, hm?" He said softly, as if he was talking to a child. His hand reached for yours, grabbing it gently, and bringing it close to his face.
"Do you remember how many moles I have? Do you want to count them?"
Serenity. Taehyung brought serenity, and every word he spoke to you came from the heart. Ever since you knew him, he had always been affectionate and attentive towards you. He knew you better than anyone else.
So, of course you knew the answer to the first question.
You smiled, heart beating fast but not out of fear. With the tip of your index finger you began to trace every spot on Taehyung's face, his skin always soft and flawless.
"One. You touched the small mole on the tip of his nose, near the right nostril.
"Two." Then it was the turn of the mole under the lid of his right eye, the spot you found most distinctive.
"Three." You murmured, as your heart beat faster and faster. You knew very well where the third mole was since it was your favourite. So you brought your face closer to his, so that your noses brushed against each other, before placing a tender kiss on his lips.
Taehyung's lips were never dry, touching them was always pleasant. Kissing him was always pleasant.
"Good girl."
His voice was hoarse as he moistened his lips and bit the lower one. You were so fragile, so exposed before him. All this delicacy, he wanted to destroy it. And Taehyung felt like a lunatic because a rarity like you was only to be protected.
But you provoked mixed feelings in him. Your bare breasts, your smooth skin, your eyes full of innocence and love for him.
Taehyung wanted to break you.
"You look so pretty right now, dove."
He hummed, almost like he had never thought such nonsense until that moment. "You would be even prettier if you told me what happened to you."
Your smile disappeared, and the perfect world that had been created began to crumble. You sat up, hiding your exposed chest with your arms.
"Taehyung, I..."
You spoke quietly, afraid of the reaction the brunette would have had. He wouldn't have blamed you, because he knew how much your position as heir to the throne made you suffer, but knowing Taehyung, he would have stepped back to make it less difficult for you.
The thought of not being able to see him again killed you.
Before you could say anything else, a man you recognised as one of your father's guards burst into the room. Your first reaction was to move away from Taehyung as quickly as possible, but the man seemed upset for a reason worse than that: his breath was short and his face completely pale.
"Princess Y/N, we've been looking everywhere for you!" He spoke without ever taking his eyes off you. That's when Taehyung removed his jacket, placing it on your shoulders.
"What's going on? Is my father looking for me?"
"Princess, I- I'm sorry…" He stammered in a slurred voice. "His Majesty, your Father, he…"
You were silent, waiting for him to finish the sentence as the man beside you loosened his grip on your shoulders.
"He… Has been assassinated, Your Highness."

cw: mentions of divorce
Year: 1992
Pattie and John finalized their divorce in January of 1992. Per their lawyer, they had to try couples therapy, amongst a few other things, prior to their official split. When nothing took, they officially called it quits.
While John never came around quite like Pattie did, he still tried addressing everyone by their proper names and pronouns. He never stopped by or gave anyone the time of day, but when he remembered, he would send birthday gifts or vague holiday cards to try and act like he cared (mainly to spite Pattie, showing her she wasn’t the only involved grandparent).
But, Pattie didn’t care. She had finally connected with her son and her granddaughter—she couldn’t care less what her ex-husband did.
Pattie often found herself stopping by once every weekend to bring the boys a meal and a little gift for Bobby. Since tensions had been resolved, Pattie hadn’t misgendered Eddie or even slipped up on his deadname. She addressed and introduced him as her son’s husband and Bobby’s father. She earned strange looks from people who think the way she used to, but it was second nature to her at this point.
Her son was married to a man, who also fathered her granddaughter. Totally normal, right?
Ever since she left John, she could give two shits about what others perceived as “normal”—she loved her new, free life and she’d be damned if anyone took that from her. For the first time in her adult life, she was happy—she didn’t care about the rest.
One weekend when Pattie dropped by, Eddie was getting his belongings together to head over to The Hideout for his weekly gig. Corroded Coffin hadn’t performed nearly as much since Bobby was born, but his band mates didn’t mind—they all understood where Eddie’s priorities were.
“Alright, I’m heading out!” Eddie called.
“Good luck tonight, Ed,” Pattie chirped.
“Thanks, mama.”
That was a newer development—mama. Eddie had never been close with his own mother, so once Pattie started coming around more often, she very quickly took on a motherly role for her son-in-law. He called her mom or mama, and she had an array of pet names for him that she used interchangeably.
In all honesty, it made Steve sick to his stomach hearing how gushy they were towards each other, but he figured it was better that it was happening to Eddie rather than him.
“Do you have everything?” Steve asked.
“I think so. What would I be missing?”
“I don’t know, you’re forgetful,” Steve shrugged.
“Well, if I forget something, then I’ll just call you and make you come down to The Hideout. Sound good?”
“No.”
“Great. Love you.”
“Hate you too, stupid.”
The two quickly kissed each other as Eddie ran out the door. Bobby was put to bed about an hour ago, so Eddie had covered all his goodnight bases for the evening.
“I should probably head out, too,” Pattie sighed as she slipped her coat on. “It was a pleasure, Stevie.”
“Always nice to see you, mom. See you next weekend?”
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
Later that night, when Eddie got home from his gig, he burst into his bedroom and started bouncing on the bed, urging Steve awake. Steve grumbled to himself and hesitantly turned over to face Eddie.
“For the love of god, what, Edward?” Steve mumbled.
“Guess what!”
“No.”
“Steven Michael, guess!”
“No! Now shut up before you wake the beast down the hall.”
“Please, just one guess.”
“For the last time, no.”
“You’re no fun.”
Steve sighed and rolled back over, burying himself in their covers. Eddie straddled his husband and ripped the covers from his face. Steve hissed at the cool air and eventually gave up, caving to his spouse’s antics.
“How many guesses do I get?” Steve whined.
“Three.”
“I’m only guessing once.”
“Then why’d you ask?”
“I don’t know, Eddie, for god’s sake, I want to sleep!”
“Come on!” Eddie started bouncing up and down.
“You better behave, I swear on my life.”
“And if I don’t?”
“Regardless, I’m too tired to deal with you.”
“Come on! Guess!”
“I don’t know—you bought the bar?”
“No! We got a gig as openers at the Hoosier Dome next weekend!”
“What‽” Steve was suddenly jolted awake in excitement. “You’re bullshitting me.”
“I would never,” Eddie guffawed.
“You’re really playing at the biggest arena in the state?”
“Sure am,” he smiled proudly. “You and Bobbs get to come backstage and all that. Isn’t that exciting?”
“Won’t it be past her bed– what the fuck am I saying? Screw her bedtime—she gets to see her father perform at the dome! Ugh, I’m so proud of you, Eds! Who’re you opening for?”
“Oh, no one big—just Gun N’ Roses,” Eddie said nonchalantly.
“Eds, that’s huge!”
Steve cheered as he pulled his sweaty husband down for a kiss. Eddie held onto Steve’s face and deepened their kiss, reducing it to teeth and tongues. Eddie rutted his hips into Steve, but Steve held onto him, holding him in place.
“Sweetie, I’m sorry, but I’m so tired. Maybe tomorrow, okay?”
“But Stevie,” Eddie whined.
“What, Eds?”
“We haven’t had sex in ages… making me think you don’t find me attractive anymore.”
“Okay, first and foremost, that’s asinine. You’re literally a smoke show—always have been, always will be. Second, I know, it’s killing me too, but Bee has been running me into the ground. She’s just at that age where she has endless energy. You can understand that, can’t you?”
“Yeah, yeah… but even when she was a baby, and we were going days without sleeping, we still did stuff,” he pouted.
“Ed, ‘stuff’ was just you giving me head.”
“Yeah, and? You say that like it’s a bad thing.”
“You’re impossible.”
“Do you not like how I give head?”
“What? No, I… what?”
“It’s a simple question.”
“Eddie, there’s nothing wrong with how you suck my dick, okay?”
“So, like… can I, then?”
“Eddie, for the love of all that is holy, it is three in the morning. Please, for my sanity, let me sleep.”
“It’ll take like five minutes.”
“Hey! I don’t finish that fast.”
“Oh, Stevie,” Eddie smirked, cocking his head to the side.
“I don’t!”
“You have since we had the baby.”
“No… that can’t be true… can it?”
“It can be and it is. However, if you’re up for a challenge–”
“Okay, yeah, more so because I want to prove you wrong.”
Eddie chuckled to himself as he started shimmying Steve’s boxers down. The couple became intimate for the first time in ages and, much to Steve’s dismay, Eddie’s point had been proven right.
“Stevie, it’s okay.”
“No, it’s not. It’s infuriating. I had no idea I lost so much stamina!”
“It’s okay! Just an excuse to practice a bit more—get your times up,” Eddie teased.
“Very funny, Ed,” Steve scoffed.
“Listen, my offer with pegging still stands if you’re ever feeling lazy and just wanna lay there. Wouldn’t have to worry about anything.”
“Okay, we were talking about how I can’t last longer than five minutes. How on earth did you go from there to pegging?”
“I dunno.” Eddie shrugged as he cuddled up to Steve.
“No, you do know.”
“Didn’t you want to go to sleep?”
“Well, now I’m awake, dickhead. How long have you been thinking about this?”
“I don’t know, a few years, maybe.”
“Years?”
“Uh, yeah? You know how frustrating it is to be a dude without a dick? I just wanna do what you get to do. It’s not that deep.”
“Okay, well, let’s put that on the back burner for now.”
“Can we try it after my show next week?”
“Yeah, fine, whatever.”
“Oh, god, how I love you.” Eddie gently kissed Steve’s neck as he rubbed circles into his chest. “Get some sleep, big boy—it’s your morning with the beast tomorrow.”
As the couple fell into a deep slumber, it was soon interrupted by their daughter screaming at the top of her lungs from the end of the hall. The boys were stirred awake, trying to gain a sense of where they were and what was going on.
“Is that Bobby?” Steve grumbled.
“Yeah,” Eddie sighed. “It’s your night.”
“I know,” Steve mumbled, sitting up in bed. He trekked down to Bobby’s bedroom where he flicked on the light and knelt next to his toddler’s bed. “What’s up, Bee?”
“There’s ghosties under the bed!” She cried.
“What do they look like?”
“They don’t have faces…”
“I, um… what are they doing?”
“They have scissors and, and, and they’re cutting up the carpet. Daddy, I’m scared!”
“Okay, uh… hold on…”
Steve’s eyes were bulged out of his head as he made his way back to his bedroom. Sweat was collecting at his brow as he stood in the doorway of his room.
“You good over there, big boy?” Eddie teased.
“Nope, this one is yours.”
Eddie rolled his eyes as he climbed out of bed to tend to his daughter. As the couple walked back down the hall, Eddie was desperately trying to figure out what was going on.
“Why was she screaming?” Eddie yawned.
“She saw ghosts under the bed. She said they were cutting up her carpet.”
“Dear lord.” Once Eddie crossed the threshold, he embraced his daughter in a warm hug, gently kissing the crown of her head. “Papa’s here, baby girl.”
“Papa, daddy! Make the ghosties go!” she sobbed.
“Okay, okay.” Eddie got down on his knees and peered under her bed. “Hey, guys? I know you’re having fun under there, but it’s late, and she’s little, so you’re scaring her. So maybe calm down on the carpet cutting for tonight.” Eddie popped his head back up and smiled at Bobby. “They said they’re sorry and they’re going to bed. You should get back to sleep too, princess.”
“But papa, I’m scared!”
“Do you want me and daddy to stay until you’re asleep? Just to make sure you’re safe?” She nodded profusely. “Okay. Do you want a lullaby or a bedtime story?”
“Both…” She said with a slight lisp, clutching her bumble gum pink comforter close to her chest.
“Okay. Stevie, do you wanna grab a book?”
“Sure. What do you want, pumpkin?”
“Goodnight Moon, please.”
“Alright. Do you want story or song first?”
“Story, please.
“Okay.”
Steve crawled into the bed, pulling Bobby into his lap. He straightened out her strawberry printed nightgown and made sure she was cozy in his embrace. Bobby pushed her messy curls out of her face so she could get a better look at the pages. Steve began reading in a soft, calming voice, slowly easing his daughter’s nerves. By the end of the book, she was half-asleep.
Steve shimmied her over to Eddie’s lap where he held her close against his chest, similar to when she was younger. He rubbed small circles into her back, making her melt further into his touch. Eddie started out by quietly humming before he finally started singing.
“Once there was a way,” he started, but was quickly stopped.
“I don’t want Golden Slumbers, papa,” Bobby mumbled.
“Uh, okay… but I always sing it to you…”
“I want the other one,” she whispered. Steve and Eddie looked to each other, puzzled—they had never sung anything else to her.
“What other one, honey?”
“The one pop-pop always sings,” she said into his chest.
What does Wayne sing? Steve mouthed.
I don’t know! Eddie mouthed back, panicked.
“Do you know how it goes?” Eddie asked.
“I dunno...”
Then it hit Steve—it was the same song that brought him and his husband together all those years ago. He had heard Wayne sing it from time-to-time when he insisted on putting Bobby down for a nap.
“If I Can Dream,” Steve smiled. Tears brimmed at Eddie’s eyes—their first date; their song.
“I can sing that, pumpkin,” Eddie whispered. “There must be lights burning brighter somewhere… got to be birds flying higher in a sky more blue… if I can dream of a better land…”
Eddie sang the song in a slow, low voice until Bobby was fast asleep. He slipped out from under her, turned off her bedroom light, and the couple walked back to their bedroom for the night.
“How were you so calm?” Steve grit his teeth.
“Are you kidding‽ I fucking shit myself!”
The following days were filled with more or less the same. The boys would go through their morning routine, drop Bobby off with either Wayne or Pattie before heading off to work. Then, pick their little one up, have dinner as a family, put Bobby down for the night, then switch off who had to deal with her night terrors.
But then, finally, the fateful Saturday had come—Eddie was performing at the Hoosier Dome. He had to be at the arena for sound check around noon, which Steve and Bobby tagged along for. Once that was all set, it was Guns N’ Roses’ turn to take the stage and rehearse until the show that evening. Corroded Coffin was free to roam around Indianapolis until four or five—as long as they were back by six, management couldn’t care less what they were up to.
The Harrington’s roamed around the city, taking Bobby anywhere she wanted to go. Around three in the afternoon, Bobby started to get a bit tired, so she urged her dads to sit down and rest. Eddie found a quaint brick wall that he happily hopped onto, hauling Bobby up onto his lap shortly after.
The cool breeze brushed through each of their curls and Steve couldn’t help but stare at his beautiful family. All he could think was how he got so lucky. How he ended up with such a gorgeous, loving family.
As Steve was off in his own la la land, Eddie adjusted Bobby’s bright yellow puffer jacket and her pale pink skirt (which was layered on top of some thermal leggings to keep her from catching a cold). She insisted on dressing herself for this momentous occasion, but Eddie and Steve would be damned if she’d be left to freeze.
In protest of her warm outfit, Bobby demanded she’d bring along her heart-shaped sunglasses—while Steve thought it was ridiculous, Eddie fed into his daughter’s antics and brought along his black shades as well. Oh, how the two troublemakers were similar in endless ways.
By six, Eddie was back at the arena for a final run through with Corroded Coffin, while Steve took Bobby out for dinner. They weren’t going on until eight, so Steve figured they had time to kill. At seven forty-five on the dot, Steve brought Bobby back to the dressing rooms to wish her father good luck on his set.
Eddie held Bobby close in an embrace, hugging her so tight you’d think it would be the last time he’d ever see her. He pressed a kiss into her forehead before placing giant, noise-cancelling headphones over her ears to protect her from the booming chaos of the arena. The stage hands ushered Corroded Coffin to the stage-wings, with Steve and Bobby tailing closely behind.
At eight sharp, the band stormed the stage, screeching their instruments to get the crowd going. Shortly after, Eddie boomed into the microphone: “hello, Indianapolis!” The arena erupted with cheers—Eddie couldn’t help but smile.
“How’re we feeling tonight?” Everyone cheered again. “Love it, love it! You guys should know, you’re our first big gig. Make some noise for yourselves, come on!”
And they did—Steve did his best to clap for his husband as he held Bobby up on his hip. Bobby held her hands firmly against her headphones, stunned and overwhelmed by all the commotion. Steve gently bounced her up and down as he pointed to his husband on stage. Bobby eventually put two and two together and screamed at the top of her lungs.
“Papa’s on stage!” She cheered. “Daddy, look! Papa’s on stage!”
“I know, pumpkin, I see him,” he chuckled.
Corroded Coffin played their first few songs before Eddie decided to speak to the crowd again. It was when he stopped to take a sip of water, shortly chased with complimentary beer the arena provided.
“How’re we feeling, Indianapolis‽” Cheers erupted from the audience once more. “Good, good,” Eddie chuckled. “Before we sing our last few songs, I’d like to take a second to thank everyone who made tonight possible.” Eddie started rattling off names of managers, event coordinators, Guns N’ Roses themselves, and finally, his own family. “Last, but certainly not least, my own beautiful, supportive, amazing husband—and yes, you all did hear that correctly. He’s supported me since we met back in ‘85 and he hadn’t missed a gig until we had our gorgeous daughter, and even then, he told me to get back to performing as soon as I was able to. Everyone, please, give it up for my husband. None of this could’ve been possible without him.” The crowd applauded weakly. “Oh, come on, I know you can do better than that! Give it up for my husband, ladies and gents! Come on!” Cheers and applause flooded the arena. “Yeah, that’s more like it! Alright, I think you’ve earned this last song. Hit it!”
As the band closed out with their grand finale, Bobby started kicking at Steve’s stomach, wanting to be put down to dance. She ran over to the stairs leading up to the stage and eagerly jumped up and down to the beat.
When the song finished, and everyone went to go bow, Bobby slipped through the cracks of all the production coordinators (and Steve) and ran onto the stage to smother Eddie with hugs.
“Bobby, no!” Steve yelled.
But it was no use—she couldn’t hear him through the headphones. Eddie spotted the brightly colored girl out of the corner of his eye, dropped to his knees, gingerly setting down his guitar, and wrapped his daughter in a warm embrace. She tackled him to the ground, and Eddie couldn’t help but laugh.
He squeezed her tight, running his hands through her tight ringlets, and placed a million kisses all over her face. Tears prickled are Eddie’s eyes as the entire audience faded into the background.
At the end of the day, she was what made it all worth it.
“Papa, you did so good!” She yelled, not knowing the volume of her own voice.
“Thank you, sweet girl,” he beamed. He sat up, still hugging her, as the stage crew started setting up for the main act. “We should go before we get in trouble. C’mon.”
He stood up, hiking Bobby up onto his hip, as he handed his guitar to a random stage-hand. He held her close as he headed for the stairs, meeting Steve with a warm hug.
“You did so good, baby,” Steve said.
“Thank you,” Eddie whispered.
“And you!” Steve started, pointing sternly at his toddler. “Never run away from me like that again, do you understand? Scared me half to death, Bobby.”
“Sorry, daddy…”
“Oh, give her a break. She was just excited,” Eddie said. “I appreciated the hugs. I wouldn’t mind if it became a post-show tradition,” he teased.
“Let’s not get carried away.” Steve rolled his eyes, hand rubbing up and down Eddie’s sweaty back.
“So, Harrington…” Eddie leaned in to whisper in his husband’s ear. “Our deal still on?” Steve’s eyes widened as he blushed up to his ears—Eddie smirked proudly. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

Cleo: Seriously, Lauren, how many people would you have killed if we’d asked you to? Lauren: That’s not important Cleo: I DISAGREE.
Cleo: There is no future. There is no past. Don't you see? Time is simultaneous, an intricately structured jewel that humans insist on viewing one edge at a time, when the whole design is visible in every fact. Prismarina: …All I asked was if you wanted to cut your birthday cake first.
Shelby: Poison is a magic transmutation potion that turns people into corpses. Prismarina: This knife is actually a magic wand. Tiff: Meet me in the Denny’s parking lot for a wizard duel. Scott: cocks gun Magic missile. Lauren: What the fuck is wrong with you people.
The Squad when asked about their earlier confession of love Lauren: Yeah, you're lucky. I like you. Tiff: I'd understand if you didn't feel the same way… Eloise: has a panic attack What confession? Prismarina: winks I know, babe. You like me too. Cleo: So what? Are you going to date me or not? Joey: It was a dare.
Cleo: Hey, what are you reading? Eloise: This is my magic book where any ink spilled shows a scripture of the future, however it bears a curse making it broken, and as such in order to make any scripture appears, I have to do it myself. Cleo: Impressive! I must have it for myself! Prismarina: So it’s just a Notebook? Eloise: It’s just a Notebook.
Scott: What’s up? I’m back. Tiff: I literally saw you die. You died. You were dead Scott: Death is a social construct.
Prismarina: We have a problem. Scott: Let me guess, you caused it? Cleo: Gimme a sec, I'm not drunk enough to listen to this yet. Tiff: And it's another Tuesday, your point? Joey: Would shooting you solve this problem? No? Then shut up. Lauren: If you're mean the fire, that's our solution to last week's problem.

A Duck’s Dynasty
A/n: Anon requested!
This is a work of fiction so bear with me on the royal family details! Happy reading!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You didn’t grow up the way most kids do. Some people’s parents are married and raise their family in a happy home where there’s laughter and warmth and…love. Your parents were in love, but they weren’t married when you came along, quite the opposite actually. Your father had just been caught up in a messy affair with your mother, his longtime “friend.” Then he divorced his wife, the people’s princess, who passed away mere months before you were born. It was not the most ideal time for Prince Charles to give the world another reason to despise him. So you were hidden away, raised by your mother’s favorite lady-in-waiting, Georgie and her husband Oliver. They couldn’t have children of their own so they loved you with every fiber of their being, cherishing your firsts like they were miracles sent straight from heaven. But there was always a reminder that you weren’t truly theirs, you had gifts sent from your parents, every holiday without fail, extravagant toys and clothes that were painful moments of reality, just as real as the royal blood pulsing through your veins.
The queen had always known of your existence and insisted that even though you were hidden from the public eye, you would live as one of her grandchildren. You attended the finest boarding schools in the UK and became fluent in three languages by the time you had hit the third grade. Everything was falling into place to introduce you to the world as the daughter of Prince Charles of Edinburg and Camila, the Duchess of Cornwall on your 18th birthday. At age 16, your roommate Violet, who was from Seattle, Washington in the United States, introduced you to the vast world of college applications. College sounded so much better than an uncomfortable dress and shaking hands with people who had dedicated their lives to hiding your existence. You spent the next two weeks before your break gathering information to present your argument.
“What if we just postpone my introduction to society until after I graduate? If I remember correctly, you both have always said you want me to experience the wonders of the world. What better way to do that than to actually explore and see what’s out there?” You practically begged.
“I even have the perfect major picked out, journalism. I want to use my media training for good, to study the ins and outs of everything that is out there in order to be prepared for when my name is trending on Google worldwide.”
A year later, you were all moved in to begin your freshman year at the University of Oregon. College was probably the single most fun time you’d ever had in your life, the parties were legendary and you’d really built a family with your roommates. And your job on campus, going over stats and highlights, recapping Duck football games was honestly pretty fulfilling.
“Hey y/n, I know it’s short notice but I need you to cover for Bradley this afternoon. He’s got an interview with Justin Herbert but he just found out has strep so we need you to step in. We’ve got the notes and all the questions ready, you just need to ask them. Can you do that?” Your boss asked, pleading for your help.
You had to admit the opportunity was exciting. Everyone on campus wanted to talk to the starting quarterback and pick his brain so you figured, why not give it a shot. Media coverage in the PAC-12 was an institution of its own, you barely got your two questions in and the rest of the time was spent recording and taking notes in order not to miss anything. Of course when you were walking back to the office, you dropped your phone.
As you bent down to pick it up, someone swooped in and grabbed it before you had the chance.
“You might need this.” Justin says with a smile, holding out the device that looked much smaller in his hands.
“Thank you, I’m not used to carrying all this stuff. My plans kind of changed today when Tyler asked me to cover for Bradley. Got to interview the starting quarterback today, he’s kind of a big deal around here you know?”
He rolls his eyes and grabs some of the notes out of your hands. “Careful, you might make your boyfriend jealous of this quarterback guy.”
“You know…come to think of it, you kinda look like him.”
“Do I?” He asked with a smirk on his face. You loved to see the little dimple peak out.
You tilt your head, grabbing his chin to turn his face from side to side. “Yeah, you look…exactly like Justin Herbert. It’s crazy.” You let out a laugh, looking around to make sure the two of you are still alone.
He nods his head slowly, stepping forward and closing the distance between you. Softly pressing his lips against yours, he smiles into the kiss, quickly losing himself in it. He didn’t have to be anything for anyone when he was with you, he could just…be. A sense of peace washed over him as he relaxed and pursed his lips, resting his forehead against yours to catch his breath. “I um—I have to ask you something.”
“Sure, what’s up?”
“Well my parents are on this ‘final countdown’ thing before I leave and they’ve been hearing about you and want to meet you for dinner later this week. If you’re up for it?”
His face dropped when you didn’t answer. “Justin um, I think we need to talk.”
“Oh great. Just the words every guy wants to hear after telling his girlfriend that—”
You could tell where his mind was going, the plummeting confidence that he had in your relationship that very few people were aware of, especially not your “parents.”
“No it’s not about us! I would love to meet your mum and dad, but—can we just talk about this somewhere else? I really need to tell you this before we bring any more people into this.”
“Okay yeah, let’s go upstairs to the quarterback room, no one will find us there.” He digs in his pockets for the keys as you press the button on the elevator. The two of you rode in silence and you could practically hear the gears in his brain turning.
He led you over to his favorite chair, one that he’d spent countless nights with you watching film as you did your homework. This was home…and you were about to ruin this little fairy tail you’d created with your very own Prince Charming.
The tight lipped look on your face made him nervous. He knew from your accent that you were going to be heading back to the UK eventually, maybe sooner than he’d hoped and you wanted to rip the bandaid off before things got too messy and feelings were involved. Little did you know, it was way too late for him.
“Justin I—am different. I told you I’m from London, which I am technically, but it’s a bit more complicated than that. Oh bloody hell this is a lot harder than I thought. Um basically…I’m a princess. My parents had a very public affair years ago and then when Princess Diana was gone they didn’t want to bring more drama into a grieving country so I didn’t grow up with my half brothers. I was raised—”
“Wait.” He mutters out. “Your family is…the royal family? The actual royal family?”
You let out a humorless laugh, anxiously waiting for his shock to settle. “The very one. I know it’s a lot but I didn’t want to meet your family without telling you the truth. I only came here to study media and understand the ins and outs of gossip sites versus real journalism and I would never want to put you in a compromising position. I mean, you don’t even have an Instagram.”
His laugh calms you both a bit, the tension that you felt brewing was slowly melting away. Justin had always had this special ability to make the chaos seem so calm. “Thank you for telling me, but this isn’t going to scare me away, I like you a little too much to just let you go.” He held your face in his hands, peppering soft kisses anywhere he could.
“I like you too, a lot. So much that I don’t want to ruin your life by destroying your privacy. You have so much to look forward to, I don’t want your accomplishments to be overshadowed by—”
He shakes his head with a chuckle, “we’ll cross that bridge when we get there, don’t worry about it. For right now we just need to make sure that you’re ready for a Herbert family dinner. My mom will be pulling out the baby pictures, no doubt.”
“Oh I cannot wait for that,” you pinch his cheek, releasing a breath you hadn’t even noticed you were holding, “thank you for being so understanding. I know it’s a lot to take in.” Justin gave you a simple nod and welcomed you into his arms for a comforting hug.
Present day…
You always knew this day would come. The car was waiting for you outside, a life filled with countless demands, photo ops and so many decisions that would involve none of your input. Justin insisted on saying goodbye the night before, there were tearful promises not to forget the last four years and blatant lies that breaking up would be for the best. It was like you’d just lost a piece of your soul and you were signing your life away to the devil. Nothing would ever be the same.
Were you ready for this? Did you really want to give up your life in LA for your “familial duty” and “loyalty to your country?” What did that even mean? Was any of this actually worth giving up your happiness?
“I’m so sorry, can you make a quick stop before we head to the airport, please?”
The driver nods and puts in the address you provide, sending an array of butterflies in your stomach.
When he opened the door, your heart skipped a beat. It felt like you were seeing him for the first time…all over again.
“Y/n? What—what are you doing here?”
You closed the door behind you, suddenly feeling like you’re out of breath. “I have felt more joy in the last few years with you than I have in my entire life. I always felt like I wasn’t enough and had to hide but with you? There’s so much to look forward to and if you think I’m going to let some stupid little crown get in the way then you’re sadly mistaken. The only title I want is to be yours, until the wheels fall off.”
“Justin, I am not a fucking princess. I’m just me…so here I am, telling you that I love you and I’m not going anywhere. My life is here.”
“I fucking love you,” he whispers onto your lips after kissing you softly. Your hand finds it’s way into his hair as you lean in again, basking in the glow of being home. This time you knew it’s be full of laughter, warmth and so much love.

Going to be serious for once. Tonight is Yom HaShoah. I wrote a poem about my family. It’s the Shoah, so obviously if you don’t want to read about horrible things, don’t.
My Uncle Alexander
My Uncle Alexander was murdered
The first time I said that was this year
I don’t know how long he’s been gone
(Why do we say gone? We know that he is dead)
No one knows
When I was little
I was told
How lucky!
My grandparents were
To only have been in a prison camp
But when I spoke to Russians as an adult
I was told ‘There were no prison camps. Only gulags.’
There’s a story
Because there’s always a story
When you’re us
(((Jewish)))
My grandparents fled the Warsaw Ghetto
(How? When? With who? Why only them?
No one knows)
They made it to the Russian border
(How? How long did it take? Where did they sleep? How did they eat and drink? Who was with them? No one knows)
At some point, they got married
(By a rabbi? By a minyan? How? Where? No one knows)
At the border
The gates were closed
They waited
(With how? How long? How did they stay warm? How did they eat and drink? No one knows)
And then
One night
The guard opened the gates
And turned his back
(Why? No one knows)
They were deported to Siberia
(How long before they were caught? Why Siberia? No one knows)
The prison camp
(Gulag)
Was a coal mine
And my grandfather
An electrician
Was so lucky!
Not to mine coal
He ran electricity
Without gloves or shoes
Remember how lucky he was!
My grandmother
A milliner
Was so lucky!
She knit sweaters
For the guards
In exchange for bread
One day
My grandfather asked the guard
‘Why are there no fences? No gates?’
And the guard laughed
He probably looked like me
(((Product of a pogrom)))
And pointed to the tundra and said
‘Where are you going to run?’
At some point
My grandparents had a son
(When? No one knows)
At two
My mother thinks
Though these were not her parents
That he was two
He died
Measles complications
My mother thinks
She isn’t sure
At some point
(When? Where? How? No one knows)
My grandparents made it to Schwäbisch Hall
They were so lucky!
A Displaced Persons Camp
I have my oldest item from
My grandparents
From that lucky place
A work passport
For my grandfather
On August 31, 1947
My father was born
We know this
Because the Allies recorded it
Even though they did not give him
Citizenship
To any Allied country
And they were so lucky!
Two years later
To sit in New York Harbor
On his birthday
To swelter in the late August heat
On a boat packed with people
(((Jews)))
While Americans celebrated Labor Day
And my grandparents
Were so lucky!
To sell socks
Out of a stall
In East New York
And they were truly happy
To have my uncle four years later
Named after my grandmother’s brother
Who died in the Ghetto
Because my grandmother
Was so lucky!
To know how he died
Because it was recorded on newsreels
The rest of the family
Are gone
(Why do we say gone? We know they are dead)
How? When? Where? No one knows
And then my grandmother
Was so lucky!
To see her first grandson born
My brother
A year before she died
Of breast cancer
We know
And when I was a little girl
Playing with Barbies and Kens
I loved to read the name book
And know what names meant
My name means Princess
It was my grandmother’s name
Wasn’t she lucky?
And so I saw the name
Alexander
Greek
Defender of Mankind
And I thought
As a little girl
What an awesome name!
And called my Ken that
And my mother stopped me
And said:
No
We (((Jews))) don’t name after dead children
And I asked who died
And she told me
My grandparents had a son
His name was Alexander
And he died
And then
Many years later
In therapy
Because that’s where we (((Jews))) go
I had to tell my family history
To my open setting treatment center therapist
(insane asylum shrink)
And he
A German
Looked like an extra on Mad Men
Studied German theology
Told me
My grandparents went through the Holocaust
Their son was killed
My father was the son of survivors
They weren’t so lucky
After all
And so
I started to say
My grandparents were survivors
And they lost a son
(Why do we say lost when we know they are dead?)
And then
The war began
October 7, 2023
Three days after my birthday
We are such a lucky family!
And everyone was so surprised
So shocked!
That the world was as hateful to Jews
As it had been to my grandparents
And their parents
And so on
And I joined groups
And spoke in meetings
And I said
My grandparents were survivors
And their son was killed
And then
One day
This year
In therapy
Where we (((Jews))) go
I said
My Uncle Alexander was murdered

Elouise Anderson
Tumblr media
♡ "You smell so sweet today, my love. Come on, let's get you inside before any more people get the pleasure of looking at you." ♡
She's a paranoid yandere. She's always in fear that someone better with a family that they can actually introduce you to will come along and sweep you up. She knows she's not nearly as strong as her sisters so if a competitor appeared there would be less she could do so she instead opts to lock you in her studio apartment. She really wants your love but she refuses to take things slow even if that means you hate her for a long time because she can't afford to waste time on courting you like her sister's can with their darlings. Now that you're in her home you can't say anything bad about her because you're hers and if you don't believe her then she'll bite you until you look like you belong to her. The world wants to separate the both of you and she won't let it happen!
♡ "It's Elouise but just call me Ellie, please? It's really unfair they got all the cool names and I'm stuck with this one." ♡
She's the second daughter of the Anderson family, when Skylar decided to run away from the arranged marriage, the burden was passed onto Elouise who, for the sake of her other sisters who might also be forced to marry him if she decided to run away, killed him horrifically after inviting him out on a date to get to know each other. She was aware it likely wouldn't be enough to buy them time forever but she just wanted to do something for once. Still she wasn't good at it and it took several smashes over the head before he finally went down. After that she moved to the town but pretends not to know her sisters when she sees them, she unconsciously wants to be around them but also can't stand speaking to them since they could also easily steal her darling from her.(although they never would cause they aren't jackasses.)
♡ "I'm 23, me and my sister were born back to back pretty much, let's not talk about her though." ♡
It really bothered her since her and Skylar almost share a birthday, she takes her birthday very seriously too so you better not take your eyes off of her. It's not your fault if you're paying attention to other things, it's those other things fault, don't worry baby, she'll clear all those things out of your way so your focus can go soley onto her.
♡ "I'm only interested in you, my love. And you're only interested in me right?" ♡
She's a lesbian and it's better if you just say yes so that way she'll stop squeezing your chin and smile at you instead.
♡ "I'm a software engineer, but don't worry! I'm going to get a promotion so that way you never need to worry about stepping outside, so just don't look for a job, m'kay?" ♡
She's good with numbers, she did not go to college but she luckily managed to snag a very small job and she climbed the ranks quickly since it was a natural talent of hers. They pay for any additional course she needs and she works from home, rarely if ever leaving her house, unless it's to spy on you and to break into your house. The cameras are just there to monitor her sisters, don't worry she trusts you. It everyone else she can't trust.
♡ "I only like you, my love. ONLY you make me feel any joy in my miserable life." ♡
She also likes her sisters but you'd have to be extremely talented to pry that out of her. She loves them a lot despite her intense inferiority complex and her one sided rivalry. She also really likes her apartment, especially once she gets you trapped in there with her. It has everything she needs to never have to go outside again.
♡ "I hate when people get their disgusting eyes on you, don't they know you're only dressed that cute for me? What? What do you mean it's not for me? Of course it is, you're mine! Here, let me bite you again. I'm sure you're just confused since I haven't been properly marking you lately." ♡
She hates when you deny her, please she knows she's not as good as other people but you're not even giving her a chance to prove her devotion to you, just give her a chance, she really can do better. If not, then she'll have to kill anyone else you lay eyes on although it will be a slow task.(She doesn't need to worry, Sophie stalks both of you since she wants her most fragile sister to just be happy. She's killed anyone who might hurt her sister's happiness with you.)
♡ "W-what am I good at? Oh oh oh, my love. Please I'm so sorry if I'm done anything to upset you but I promise I'll be more useful to you in the future. I'm so sorry I'm worthless at the moment, it's just I'm so busy keeping those mongrels eyes off of you. Wait, you weren't calling me useless? You just wanted to know if I had any talents you were unaware of? Oh, uhm pottery." ♡
She makes a damn good vase, you should ask her to make you one. She'll be happy to be of service.
♡ "Oh? Where do you think you're going? I never said you could leave, I know it's boring here but this is for your own good, even if you hate me now, you'll come to realize it too." ♡

My AUs in a list, with pictures and links to the AO3 if there are fics attached.
There are other designs and stories I have made that are not attached to an AU I will not be including those.
I will however include AUs I have thought about but have not made anything for under a notable mention area!
Under the cut, I have no idea how long this'll be! (Pretty fucking long)
My canon sides! (RemRom) (LoMoCeit)
AO3 Link These are for the canon Thomasphere. Note: I have since revamped Remus' design in touch his titties Tuesday and plan on doing so with Roman eventually.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On The Sidelines! (RemRom) (SleepAlity) (DeMas) (AnaLogical)
AO3 Link This is my RemRom band AU where they were separated when they were teens and by coincidence meet back up as adults because Roman's band buys the space under Remus' apartment. (Feat: Patton and Logan)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Slice of Life AU! (RemRom) (MoCeit) (AnaLogical)
AO3 Link This is what I dubbed my human AU when I first started it but it's basically just a slice of life AU of them as humans, being and doing people things. (I do have other AUs where they are human but those have more of a distinction to them.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Punk AU (RemRoMas)
AO3 Link Just as the title says, I honestly don't have much for this story wise (just yet) I just thought it would be fun (also Roman is more goth-esque) (Feat Patton & Thomas)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ghost AU (RemRomLoCeit)
I don't have any writing out for this (I did start it a long time ago though) and I only have two drawing for it. But It's what it says ghost AU! Where Remus is dead, and Roman wants to find his killer cause he knows he was killed but the police issued it a suicide. Then one day Roman finds the murder weapon! (Remus' own dagger) and now Roman can see Remus who is bound to the dagger!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Troublesome Trio AU (RemRomAlity)
Blog Link This is an ask blog about Roman, Remus and Patton owning a drive in theater, in the middle of the woods where cryptids and mythical creatures live.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Circus AU (RemRom)
Another thing that I have not exactly done anything for except started writing for it a long time ago, but it's basically Remus and Roman are fleeing from someone and they end up working at a circus!
Tumblr media
Borrower AU (RemRom)
I have... done nothing but this one picture for this AU but I love it and I do intend on doing more with it.
Tumblr media
R3 AU (RemRomRem)
I have got almost nothing for this too, except that Remus and Roman and married and they both get a crush on Remy at the same time and try to woo him. (as you can see... I kinda changed a few things between these pictures)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Murder Bros AU (RemRom)
Blog link Just a fun silly little blog about murderers, and considering I made this 4 years ago and only now started another post for it this picture, really doesn't do them justice.
Tumblr media
And Now! For The Notable Mentions!
These are AUs I have thought of doing, but sadly have not done anything for, some I have talked about some I have not.
Cryptid/Ghost Hunter Remus and Creature Roman AU! Roman is a huge fuzzy creature living in a dilapidated estate deep in the woods, when one day Remus stumbles upon it and decides it's the perfect place to investigate.
Sugar Baby Remus Big Celebrity Roman AU! Just as it says, Remus is the older brother who is the sugar baby to younger brother movie star/singer Roman.
Ghost Soulmate YouTuber Remus AU! Everyone is born with a marking of their soulmate, it turns up when you turn 18, Remus however doesn't get one, until he does a ritual in a graveyard For The Views and ends up accidentally summoning Roman -who also doesn't have a soulmark and is very salty that he died without one- but neither of them notice at first that theirs show up when Roman is awoken, and is now bound to Remus who gets Roman to do things to get him more Views.
Reaper AU! Based on the TV Show Reaper, Remus' parents sold his soul to the devil before he was born now on his 21st birthday he has to hunt down escaped souls from Hell.
Pushing Daisies AU! Again based on the TV show of the same name. Roman has the gift to bring back the dead, and if it exceeds one minute the person stays alive but something of equal value nearby dies. Remus is obviously in the role of Chuck.
Lisa Frankenstein AU! This one, kinda speaks for itself through the name, I also have not fleshed it out all the way yet, except that Remus is in the role of Lisa, Roman is in the role of The Creature and Patton is in the role of Taffy. Will update when necessary.
I have thought of an Intruality AU for this moodboard that I wanna do more of. So maybe!
If I think of any more I have missed or if I come up with more I will update!

(Long story, au so far removed from canon it might as well be ocs at this point)
AITA for cheating on my wife?
(TW child abuse, religious trauma/abuse, homophobia, death of a child, cancer)
I (34M) have been married to my wife, L (35F) for 15 years. We got married shortly after I turned 18, because that is the norm in the church we both grew up in. L has been my best friend since I was very young, we have always been part of a group within our church of people around our ages (currently 30-36, three other men and two other women). Our church is extremely conservative and restrictive, best described as a fundamentalist evangelical Christian church, and extremely tight-knit and small. I was born into it, as were most members of the church, and because of how close everyone is, there's very much an attitude of "us vs the outside world."
The home I grew up in was worse than miserable. My mother joined the church as a teenager, which is not very common, and married my father barely a few years later, as soon as she turned 18. My father is nine years older than her, and a piece of shit. Neither of them are good parents, but my father was extremely abusive to her and to his children for as long as I can remember. My mother was also abusive to myself and my little sister, but never to the physical extent that my father was, she tended much more towards emotional abuse. This is relevant because one of the reasons L became my best friend, and one of the reasons our whole group means so much to me, is that they listened to me when I said the way my parents treated us was far beyond the norm, even for other families that believed in the idea of "spare the rod, spoil the child." Every child in our church was spanked or sent to bed hungry, but not every child was held home "sick" from school for a week to hide the evidence of how bad things got when their father had a bad day at work. Whenever I tried to tell anybody who had actual power about the way my sister and I were being treated, I was brushed off as a kid who didn't understand consequences. L never did that, and neither did anybody else in our group.
My sister was born when I was eight. Her name was Kayla. When I was fifteen and she was seven, she was diagnosed with leukemia. When I was sixteen and she was eight, she passed away. L and our other friends were my rocks during that time, as my home life only got worse as my parents fed off the sympathy of others and took out their financial stress from the medical bills on me. This was when L and I first discussed the possibility of marriage once we were both eighteen and sort of started seeing each other. I say sort of because it wasn't like we dated, exactly, as boys and girls were pretty heavily discouraged from spending one-on-one time together, and things didn't really change that much between us, or in the dynamic of our group, which at that time was much smaller because a four year age gap is much larger at 12 and 16 than it is now, when the youngest of our friend group is 30 and the oldest is 36. We just knew that we were planning on getting married, and a few months before my eighteenth birthday, we talked to her parents, my parents, and the pastor of our church, and everybody agreed that we would get married once I graduated high school, a few months after I turned 18. Then I would go to college, law school, everything I had always planned to do to start a career to support my eventual family, and once I had settled into a career, she would be the housewife she had always expected to be.
Before I get to the next part of the story, let me make something extremely clear. I love L. I have loved her since we were children, and I will love her until the day I die, no matter what happens. It's a fact about me that I will never escape because she was there for me and made sure I knew that I was loved in the worst times and moments of my life, and that means everything to me.
However, that love has never been romantic.
I realized that I was gay when I was 12 years old. It was an extremely traumatic realization for me; I was physically sick to my stomach for days and experienced some of the only true panic attacks I've ever had in the days after that. I didn't tell anybody because, as you might imagine, the attitude towards gay people in our church is not exactly friendly. Quite the opposite, in fact. I knew that if I told anybody, even my best friends or the pastor of our church, that I would be an outcast and treated like garbage. I hated myself, and I was convinced that if I was a good enough Christian, God would take the burden of homosexuality away from me and make me straight like I knew I should be. I prayed for so long that my knees bled from kneeling, and I threw myself into the church like never before. I led youth groups and bible studies, volunteered to teach Sunday school, I went to both Sunday services and the mid-week service every week, I was in my pastor's office asking questions and discussing theology constantly, and still, I never had any interest in any girls and couldn't stop the random thoughts about boys from popping into my head. Puberty only made things worse.
By the time my sister died, I had convinced myself that if I found the right woman, I would eventually love her the way I was supposed to. Something in me shattered when Kayla died, and as L supported me through it, I decided that she would be the woman I loved and married.
It didn't work like that. Obviously. A few years ago, after more than a decade of marriage and still the constant prayers and begging God to "fix" me, my faith slowly died. Looking back, I almost can't believe how long it took for me to realize that if God couldn't protect me from my parents, and couldn't heal my sister, and couldn't "fix" my sexuality, then why was I spending so much of my time and effort worshipping him? Once the resentment took hold, I slowly stopped believing in everything I had been taught since I was a kid. I had always been very good at compartmentalizing, keeping the church and my faith and beliefs completely separate from the "worldly" knowledge I needed as a lawyer and to get through school. Even when I was in college and law school, there was this constant caveat of "I need to know this (ie evolution) to get a passing grade, but I know the Truth as it's found in God's word." As I very slowly started questioning things, that dichotomy started to break down in my head. If I believed in DNA, which had been proven by science, why shouldn't I believe in evolution, which was also supported by science? If I can trust archeological and geological dating on things like ancient structures in the Middle East and artifacts that support bible stories, why can't I trust those same geologists who say the Earth is billions of years old? The logic started eating away at the things I believed, and what started as resentment towards God turned into apathy, turned into agnosticism, turned into atheism. At this point in time, I would consider myself an atheist.
I didn't know how to talk about any of this with anybody. I didn't have any friends who weren't also in the church, not even at work, where I rarely talked to anybody about anything not directly work-related. I knew if I tried to talk to L about it, especially the part where one of the things it stemmed from was my being gay and lying to her about my feelings and attraction to her for years, at best, she would try to convince me to talk to the pastor about it and at worst, she would tell everyone, and I would lose every important person in my life. So I didn't. I kept acting like everything was the same, going to church and work and bible study, leading worship music on Sunday mornings. It was eating me alive, but I didn't know what else to do.
I'm not usually an impulsive person. I love planning and knowing exactly what is about to happen. It's not like me at all to do something on impulse. But one night, after work, and after months of trying to figure out what to do about my whole life being a miserable lie, I texted my wife that I had to stay late to finish some work for a case and not to wait up for me, and I went to a gay bar. It was my first time in any bar, actually, and very much my first time acting on anything when it came to my sexuality.
There was a guy there. I mean, there were many men there, but there was one I couldn't look away from. It wasn't just that he was physically attractive, though he was beautiful, it was how free he was. He was dancing and wearing makeup and had his fingernails painted, and it made my chest hurt to look at him and wonder who I would have been if I could have been so free. And he clearly liked the look of me, too, because he came up to me when I'd been inside for a few minutes and asked me to dance, and one thing led to another and I went home with him. It was the first time I had sex with somebody other than my wife, obviously, and it was also the first time I ever felt like I understood what sex was supposed to be about, because I was actually attracted to the person I was having sex with. Was it perfect? No. I had no idea what I was doing because I've never done it before, but it was fun. I smiled without faking it for the first time in a long time, and he even made me laugh.
He gave me his number before I left. I started texting him at work the next day, and never stopped. It's been around five months, and I'm a little bit scared to admit that I think I might be falling in love with him.
As far as I know, he doesn't know that I'm married. My wife obviously doesn't know, and I don't know how I would even begin to tell her. I know I have to tell him that I'm married and that I've already waited too long. He deserves better than I've given him. But I'm scared that if I tell my wife, she'll tell everyone at church, and I'll lose every semblance of a support system that I've ever had.
So, AITA for cheating on my wife with a man and having no idea how to move forward?

it’s your friendly neighborhood heroes anon! you seem to maybe kinda like the petrellis, so i’ll give you a fun ask about them.
what do you think peter and nathan were like with each other growing up? i’ve seen a bunch of different headcannons from people. in some they’re only like 8 years apart and in others it’s 14. some people think nathan was seen as more of a ‘cool cousin that gets you booze’ type by peter and they never really saw each other much, but when they did it was a fun time. but then in other fics nathan and peter are basically conjoined at the hip even after nathan graduates.
it’s all a big mess, and i don’t know who to believe lol. your thoughts? don’t be afraid to ramble on and on (and on)
Hi!!! I love to talk about the Petrellis haha so here goessss 💖💖
Ooh so first of all, I don’t rly know anything abt the supplemental stuff like the comics lol but not many ppl do anyway lmao
And secondly, in regards to their age gap we can roughly work it out from a few things: s1-s4 take place over roughly ~2 years (for instance Claire is 15-16 in s1 and 18/going to college in s4). Peter was born in December 1979 and is 26 in s1 (stated in canon), Nathan is similarly stated to be 40 in s4 (so ~38 in s1). So I’ve always interpreted them as being 12 years apart. Which yes, is a pretty sizeable age gap and means they wouldn’t have hung out in the same way that siblings of closer ages/in similar life stages would have. Peter and/or Nathan would be away at fancy boarding school, Nathan was in the military for parts of Peter’s childhood.
Their childhood is not super filled in by canon so a lot of this is my personal headcanon/interpretation (be warned for subjectivity/filling in the gaps) but I think their clinging to each other/closeness did start very young regardless of the age gap. Their father was terrifying and emotionally abusive as fuck, controlling to Nathan and at best dismissive and neglectful to Peter, Angela at least loves them in her own way but isn’t much better as a parent and is actively manipulative/gaslighting them all the time lmao and they live in an insane household that forced them together due to this (no wonder they’re Like That).
I think Nathan’s always been protective of Peter and wanted to be there for him/stand in front of him to shield him (though I think he’s later a little resentful about it, similarly Peter sometimes sees Nathan as too much of a puppet to their parents and doesn’t get why he didn’t stand up for himself more/gets frustrated with him, but Nathan was literally moulded from birth to be their obedient little attack dog who’d do whatever they wanted him to. Nathan in s3 saying his evil mind-controlling dad chose his career and even the person he married was picked out for him. There’s a reason that he seems so spineless.) but Nathan’s exception has always been Peter - the one thing he’ll defy his parents for. In s1 he goes along with what he’s meant to do until it comes time for him to pick The Plan or Peter, and he sacrifices himself for Peter. I think Angela never even considered that Nathan would choose Peter over her plan for him, which was the flaw in her machinations lol.
Peter also mentions in s4 that Nathan would rearrange his military leave to be there for Peter’s birthday, etc. i think that they were really happy to see each other every time they got to, it gave them some escape with someone who wasn’t their parents, who understood what it was like to grow up in that family. They’re hugely different people, but in part because Peter was allowed that freedom to be himself and have his own opinions that Nathan simply didn’t have, and again I think Nathan at once kind of resents this and also fiercely wanted that for Peter and is proud of him, despite the way he’s mean to him sometimes lol.
Of course I’d be remiss not to mention the infamous s2 deleted scene, where Nathan says that he and Peter used to steal Arthur’s scotch and go out to the treehouse and he ‘got him drunk for the first time’ up there. Not sure exactly when but this has to have been when Peter was a teenager, and… whew. The way Nathan delivers this with such anguish (‘why did I go back there…’) says so much about how intensely he feels about this whole thing, like, whatever really happened in that treehouse was a LOT and he’s having a LOT of feelings about it. I think when Peter was a teenager their closeness started becoming TOO much and too intense and it scared Nathan a bit as much as he wanted to hold onto Peter. But aaaaanyway….
I just love me some codependent brothers lmao so I’ve probably coloured it more towards that in my own perception. But basically I do think they were close regardless of the age gap!

chapter twenty-six — quan estem separats
➝ distance is painful for elisabeth. however, worse than that is the uncertainty about the future.
➝ word count: 5,1k
➝ warnings: slightly smutty talk
➝ author notes: finally, a new chapter for you! I hope you are as excited as I am for the sequel to the story of toto and elisabeth. always remembering that my askbox is open for feedback and requests (btw, I apologize if you sent something and I didn't respond; it means it's on the list to be written).
JUNE, 2016
The gentle breeze made her hair flutter. Sitting on the porch floor, leaning against one of the white pillars, she watched the horizon, deep in thought. The sun was shining brightly, illuminating the lawn stretched across the backyard of the mansion and the trees that covered the hills in front of the white houses scattered along the coast, right up to where the sands dipped and bathed in the deep blue of the Mediterranean.
This was Ibiza. Most of the world knew it for electronic music festivals and parties during the summer. It was one of the most popular destinations in Europe, especially for young people looking for sun, drink, and fun on the lush beaches and nightclubs that dotted the island.
For Elisabeth, though, Ibiza was simply home.
Her affection for the island was her birthright. Her maternal grandmother, Elena, was a Spanish woman, and she loved it there. She often spent time in Ibiza with her husband, the Impressionist painter Robert Knaus. After the death of Elisabeth's grandfather in 1975, Elena decided to take up permanent residence in Ibiza with her two youngest children, Renate and Tilman, while her eldest daughter, Marlene, was building her modeling career on the mainland.
Shortly after the family moved to the island, Marlene went to visit her mother and siblings, to see how they were faring during those first few months without Robert. It was at that time that the family met Niki, who was a friend of Marlene’s — at least that’s what Marlene said. Of course, her mother did not believe a man who had traveled all the way from Vienna to Ibiza just to see her daughter was merely a friend, but she didn’t question it.
During those days under the Spanish sun, not only did Niki fall even more in love with Marlene, but he also fell in love with the island itself. Life in Ibiza moved at a different pace — everything was slower, more relaxed, warmer, tender. It was a harsh contrast to his normal schedule, driven by long bouts of travel, focusing on results, and the danger of his sport. It was as if Niki had been introduced to a whole new world, where he had found something new. It was normally something he avoided at all costs, for fear of it affecting his racing performance.
Happiness.
He and Marlene got married a few months later, in a registry office in Vienna, practically in the dead of night. A few months after that, they purchased a mansion on the island. It was built in the Balearic style and had a stunning view of the main city, with its white houses dotting the coast. Niki took refuge there after his accident at the Nürburgring. He had his children spend the first few years of each of their lives here as well, away from the spotlight and the media pressure that came with having a famous father.
Out of all of Niki’s children, Elisabeth had spent the least amount of time on the island, due to the fact that Lukas and Mathias were of school age at the time she was born, and their father insisted that they be educated in Vienna. However, this did not stop the youngest Lauda sibling from developing a special fondness for Ibiza, and making her own memories there.
Her childhood had been filled with walks on the beach, playing with Tasso and Luna on the front lawn, and riding lessons with Uncle Tilly on the pony he'd gifted her for her fifth birthday. There were escapades with her father, diving in the Mediterranean when they should’ve been at the market in Santa Eulària, running errands for Marlene. Elisabeth’s happiest memories all took place on that little piece of land, until a particular man stepped into her life and turned everything upside down.
Thinking of Toto gave Elisabeth a strange feeling in her chest, a feeling that she wasn’t used to any more after they’d been dating for nearly two years. It was the feeling of something she was lacking, like someone had stolen a piece of her.
After photos of him surfaced in Austrian tabloids with a “mystery woman”, the two of them agreed that they needed to lay low until the press lost interest in Toto, because he’d been targeted by the paparazzi more often these days. The only solution they could think of was to travel separately and to avoid appearing in public unless they were in the company of another person.
It would even have worked… But, then they were spotted walking into Toto’s penthouse late in the evening after arriving back in Vienna after the Canadian Grand Prix. It was dumb luck that Elisabeth’s face was obscured in the pictures, covered by the hood of the team jacket she’d stolen when the chill of the Viennese nighttime caught her by surprise. It was dumb luck that shit hadn’t hit the proverbial fan.
Bradley emailed them both the next morning, requesting they consider a response of some kind. They both agreed that the best thing to do would be for them to remain apart for a while, just until the press’ fervor died down. They could do anything they wanted once things calmed down. Since the season was underway, it was agreed that Toto would stay in Oxfordshire, close to the factory, and that Elisabeth would stay in her apartment in Vienna. She was glad she hadn’t sold it yet, like she was considering for a while.
She hadn’t expected their period of separation to be so difficult, though. The first few days were easy. Her flat hadn’t been inhabited in a while, and things needed to be organized. Work took up a lot of her time as well. But after a few days, she became keenly aware of Toto’s absence, and started feeling lonely… almost empty inside. Elisabeth realized, while she was away from him, how important he’d become to her. He was an essential part of her life now.
It wasn't like they didn't communicate via text and phone calls. Truthfully, they spent far too much time on the phone with each other, giving each other the most mundane updates about things that were going on. They even saw each other at the Azerbaijan GP in Baku, but they limited their contact to conversations in the garage, so other people would be around and nothing would look too suspicious. Being so close to him and so far away from him at the same time felt like torture to Elisabeth. Worst of all, there was no end to it in sight.
Niki seemed to notice Elisabeth's restlessness and suggested that his daughter come with him and Marlene to Ibiza for a chance to relax before July’s packed race schedule. It sounded wonderful, and Elisabeth would have jumped at the chance… If it weren't for the fact that her parents had invited her brothers as well.
The prospect of seeing Mathias again after everything that happened at Lenny’s birthday party gave Elisabeth pause. Since she and Toto had been kicked out of his apartment, she hadn't been in contact with her brother or sister-in-law. Even the news of the birth of her new nephew, Ellison, arrived through third parties, as Mathias did not make a point of even reading the WhatsApp messages she’d sent asking about the children. The idea of sharing a house with Mathias, even for a few days, seemed like it would be impossible.
After some jostling around a few dates and snide comments from her brother, it was agreed that Elisabeth would spend a few days on the island in June, and Mathias would come in July. That way, they could avoid any friction or fights, considering that their last argument had ended with her slapping her brother in the face.
Elisabeth’s first few days in Ibiza were filled with re-discovery. It had been almost two years since she had visited because of the frenetic routine of travel and meetings that her life had become. Visiting the places that were part of her childhood were special to her, and felt even more special when she imagined what it would be like to have Toto, Ben and Rosi there with her, exploring the island with her. It would be fun, she thought, to show them Ibiza through her eyes, telling them stories about spending time there during her youth.
The sound of something buzzing pulled her out of her thoughts. Elisabeth glanced to the table next to her and realized that her phone was ringing. She picked it up and looked at the screen, smiling when she realized who was calling her.
— Hi, honey — she said softly.
— Hola, guapa — Toto greeted, in slurred Spanish, which made Elisabeth laugh — Como estás?
— You know that they don’t really speak Spanish here in Ibiza, right?
— But isn't it part of Spain?
— Yes, but they speak Catalan here, dear, not Spanish.
— Then correct me, Professor Lauda.
— You should have said “Hola bonica, com estàs?”.
He repeated the phrase carefully, pulling out some vowels in an exaggerated way, making her laugh again.
— We’ll work on it, dear.
— What matters is that you understood my question, and I'm waiting for your answer.
— I'm fine, Toto — Elisabeth replied — I would be better if you were here, of course. What about you?
— I'm fine too, baby. Lots of meetings, trying to solve some problems that popped up here that would have been fixed in five minutes if you were here.
Elisabeth smiled.
— Are things that chaotic in my absence?
— You know, trouble seems to respect you, Liesl. It's actually very funny — Toto laughed.
— Sounds like I'm going to have to fly straight over there to help you, Toto.
— Nothing would make me happier than that, baby. I miss you here.
— At the factory?
— No — he replied, in a low voice — Well, yes, that too, but I miss you here with me. I miss you being close to me. I miss having you by my side at meetings, supporting me. I miss having you at home, laughing while sipping your coffee in the kitchen. I miss you in bed, lying on my chest, your fingertips caressing my skin.
— I miss you too, dear — Elisabeth murmured.
— I miss your kisses. I miss the way you like to nibble on my neck and ears. I miss the way you sigh and moan. I miss your body. I miss you the way you twitch all over while I make you come in every way possible — Toto continued, his voice gaining a mischievous edge to it. It caused Elisabeth to press her legs together involuntarily as a wave of heat rose through her body.
— Toto — she sighed, feeling her cheeks heat up.
— Do you miss that too, Liesl? Do you miss me making you come?
She pursed her lips the memory of the last time they'd had sex coming to the forefront of memories. The way he'd taken all the time in the world to bring her to orgasm more times than she could keep track of had etched itself in her mind, and she missed it so much.
— Yes, dear.
— What do you miss? Tell me baby. I want to hear you say it.
Elisabeth took a deep breath, trying to ignore the tingling feeling low in her belly — an impossible feat, considering that Toto Wolff was muttering obscenities on the other end of the line. She quickly looked around to make sure that nobody was nearby, and brought the phone closer to her face.
— I miss your eyes locked on me, watching me. I miss you telling me that I’m your pretty little girl. I miss your hands squeezing my breasts, your kisses between them as you move inside me. I miss you pinning my arms above my head to gain leverage. I miss the way you leave me completely at your mercy. I miss the weight of your body on top of mine after you come inside me, the way you breathe, and the way your sweat mixes with mine — Elisabeth said. She could feel her heart start to pound as the memories of those moments were making her more and more excited.
On the other end of the line, Toto sounded like he was out of breath.
— Did I go too far, dear?
— I'm seriously considering taking a flight to Ibiza right now.
— My father would say that you're crazy to show up for no reason.
— But… I have a good reason.
— You do?
— Yes. To hear you whisper in Spanish that you want me inside you.
She laughed, rolled her eyes.
— It's Catalan, honey.
— Could you tell me the difference? — he asked, his tone teasing and malicious.
— No puc esperar per sentir-te dins meu, amor meu — Elisabeth spoke, pronouncing the words carefully. However, before she even heard Toto's answer, the sound of someone clearing their throat made her whip her head around, her eyes going wide.
Leaning against the doorway behind her, arms crossed, Lukas was staring at his sister with a raised eyebrow. Considering the way his expression was now twisting into an impish, gleeful smile, he had definitely heard what Elisabeth had just said. “Fuck”, she thought, not realizing that Toto was muttering something on the other end of the line. It was probably some equally dirty phrase in one of the five languages he could speak.
— I'll have to hang up, I'll talk to you later — she said quickly, her tone cold and businesslike. She didn’t wait for a response before she pressed the “end call” button on her screen.
Lukas walked over to Elisabeth slowly, sitting down beside her on the porch. Then, after a few seconds of silence, he looked at his sister.
— I really didn't expect you to have such a foul mouth, Elschen.
Elisabeth felt her cheeks burn, her mind searching for some good excuse as to why she was saying those things that didn't require her to mention Toto's name.
— It's not what you're thinking, Lukas — she said softly. She was a little nervous. Mathias' reaction to her relationship had been bad enough that she had prevented anyone else from finding out at all costs.
Lukas chuckled.
— Do you read minds now, Elisabeth? — he asked, the corner of his lips curled into a mischievous smile.
— No, I just know you well enough to know that you must be thinking the worst of me right now.
— Not the worst, Elschen. I was just thinking about who could possibly be on the other end of the line.
Elisabeth took out her cell phone and looked at the screen, making sure the call had ended.
— It was nobody — she muttered — Nobody important, I mean.
— He seemed important to you, considering you told him you wanted him inside you.
She clenched her jaw, casting her eyes to the ground. Her brother sighed.
— I thought you trusted me — he muttered.
Something tightened inside Elisabeth's chest. Despite Lukas being seven years older than her, and having the same rebellious tendencies as their father and Mathias, it hadn’t prevented the two of them from cultivating a deep affection for each other. It was reflected in the fact that whenever somebody asked who their best friends were, they’d each give each other’s names without hesitation. They each had the same personality and the same blue eyes, and they shared a lot of life with each other. Whenever either of them had a problem, they would turn to the other for advice, to vent, or to get comfort or encouragement as needed. Lukas was the first person Elisabeth told about her first boyfriend, and Lukas sought out Elisabeth to ask about how best to surprise the girl he liked when he was in university. Even after 30 years, that bond was still strong, even if the conversations weren't as frequent as either of them would have liked because of their maddening routines, with Lukas helping Mathias in his racing career, and her helping father manage the family business and his interests at Mercedes. Elisabeth wanted to keep their relationship close, above all else, even if it meant not telling him how happy and fulfilled she was with the man of her dreams.
She didn't want to lose another brother.
— And I do, Lukas — Elisabeth murmured.
— It doesn't seem like it, Elschen.
— I know, but I trust you — she said, looking at him for the first time since he sat down next to her.
— So tell me, who's the guy?
Elisabeth raised an eyebrow.
— How do you know it's a guy?
— You've only told me about guys before now.
— I could be bisexual.
— I think you would have told me that, Elschen — he countered, giving her a wink.
Elisabeth smiled a little, looking at the horizon. As much as she tried, she could never hide her feelings from her brother. Lukas could read her like no one else.
— Is it Toto? — he asked, after a few seconds of silence.
— What makes you think it would be him?
— You didn’t answer my question.
— You didn’t answer mine.
— I asked first.
— But your answer is important to mine — Elisabeth said, looking at her brother. Lukas smiled wanly at her.
— Well, if you're so keen to know, I assumed it was him because I was with him and dad when you and Mathias were arguing in his office during Lenny’s party. As soon as we heard Mathias raise his voice, I noticed that Toto's posture changed completely. He looked worried and angry at the same time. As the two of you got louder and louder, he looked more and more irritated. His jaw got really tight, and he was gripping his glass of juice so tightly that I thought he was going to break it.
Elisabeth looked at her hands. She still didn’t say anything. She fiddled nervously with the ring Toto had given her after the Amira Air deal, the diamonds glittering in the Ibiza sun.
— Lenny started crying a few minutes later, because he got scared by the shouting. Claire asked mom to stay with him while she went to see what was going on. While all of that was happening, we heard something that sounded like a slap, and Toto dropped his glass on the table and marched straight into the office.
— I understand…
— But, I think the most obvious giveaway was when mom asked me to help her with Lenny. He was inconsolable. I tried talking to him a bit, trying to cheer him up, you know, so I took him over to the pile of his birthday presents and asked him which one he wanted to play with, and he asked for Onkel Toto’s red car book.
Elisabeth swallowed hard.
— I even asked him to repeat who the gift was from, because I didn’t think I heard him right. But, he said that Onkel Toto had given a book with a red car and that’s what he wanted.
— Did mom hear? — Elisabeth asked in a low voice.
— Did she… Hear Lenny?
— Yeah.
— No, she didn't.
She sighed, twirling the platinum circle on her right ring finger.
— So, Elschen, is it him?
— Yes.
Silence stretched for a few seconds between them as they looked at each other.
— If I said I was surprised, I'd be lying — Lukas muttered, causing Elisabeth to look at him, one eyebrow raised.
— What do you mean by that?
— When dad introduced me to Toto, during the New Year's party at his house, we talked for a while. I remember thinking that he seemed a lot like you, and that I would get along with him for that reason.
— Are we really that much alike?
— You both are focused, stubborn, and intelligent. You both have a similar sense of humor and a way of dominating an environment just by being in it — he replied, looking at the horizon — You make quite the striking pair.
— Thanks, I think — Elisabeth said, a shy smile on her lips.
— Is this a recent development?
— Not really.
— How long?
— Almost two years.
Lukas looked at his sister with wide eyes.
— Almost two years?
— Yes.
— And nobody knows?
— Very few people know.
— Who?
— His kids, his mother and sister, Bradley Lord at Mercedes… You. Mathias…
Lukas looked outraged at the mention of their brother.
— You told Mathias before you told me? I thought I was your best friend!
— I didn't tell him.
— But…
— He caught us in a… Compromising position in Toto's office last year in Spa.
Her brother was quiet for a few seconds.
— How compromising?
— Compromising enough that there was no hiding what we were actually doing.
His blue eyes widened. The impish smile returned to his face.
— Were you fucking in the motorhome?! — he asked. He was louder than Elisabeth would have liked to have been, so she slapped him on the arm.
— Lukas! — she exclaimed.
— What?
— Don't say that out loud — she scolded under her breath.
— Well, were you?
Elisabeth nodded, pressing her mouth into a thin line. Lukas laughed.
— I honestly didn't expect you to be that kind of girl, Elschen.
— Neither did Mathias, I guess — she muttered.
— Well… The thing about Mathias is that he’s completely oblivious to anything that’s not racing, Elisabeth. A few days ago he told me that Freddie Hunt asked him about you, and he didn’t understand why he would have.
— I guess you didn't tell him that Freddie and I…
— Nope.
— I’m glad. His reaction would be worse than it was when he caught me with Toto.
— What did he do when he walked in on you?
— Well, after practically dragging me by my hair to another room, he started lecturing me about how wrong it was, how I was crazy to have an affair with him, that I should be ashamed of myself for it. Oddly enough, it wasn't the worst thing he said that day.
— What else did he say?
— He threatened to tell dad about our relationship.
Lukas' jaw clenched.
— He did… What?
— Yes. He said that someone had to take dad’s side and that someone was him.
— And what did you do?
— I reminded him of when we helped him get back into karting and didn’t tell mom and dad, and that we gave him the money to do it. He couldn’t argue with that.
— So... Did he tell dad?
— I had to threaten him with his sponsors to keep him quiet.
Lukas chuckled.
— Oh, that makes sense…
— What makes sense?
— At the end of last season, he asked me to look for new sponsors and asked me to not tell you about it. I asked him why, and he said you were too busy with Mercedes things to handle it with the attention he thought it needed.
— That son of a bitch — Elisabeth muttered — Did you help him?
— I looked some things up, but you know, I don't understand finances like you do. I would have asked for your help whether he wanted me to or not.
She sighed. Things couldn’t go on like this - Elisabeth needed to find a solution to the situation she had gotten herself into with Toto.
— So, dad doesn't know? — Lukas asked after a few seconds of silence.
— No — she muttered.
— When are you going to tell him?
Elisabeth was about to respond when a female voice interrupted her.
— Tell what to whom?
Elisabeth turned her head and realized Marlene was standing behind them. Dressed in a crisp cotton summer dress, with her hair tied back in her iconic bun, she was standing in the doorway of the house, her face frozen in a serious expression. “Fuck”, Elisabeth thought.
— Nothing, mom — Lukas replied quickly when Elisabeth didn’t, realizing that his sister was completely frozen. However, the eldest son's words only served to make their mother even more suspicious.
— Nothing at all, Elisabeth? — Marlene looked at her. When her daughter didn’t answer she slowly approached where they were sitting — Lukas, could you give us a moment?
Elisabeth's brother looked at her with pity in his eyes, as if he knew that a difficult situation was about to get worse. Giving her shoulder an affectionate squeeze, as if to say “good luck”, Lukas got up and walked back into the house. Marlene sat down in the spot recently vacated by her son.
— Elschen, you know you can trust me, don't you?
— Yes, mom — she murmured.
— So are you going to tell me?
— Tell you what?
— What are you hiding from me.
Elisabeth sighed.
— I’m… Dating someone.
Marlene smiled.
— That’s nice, dear. Is it someone I know, by chance?
— Yes.
Her mother gazed thoughtfully at the horizon.
— Would this person be a coworker of your father's?
— Yes.
Marlene looked at her daughter seriously.
— It's Toto, isn't it?
Elisabeth's eyes met her mother's.
— Yes.
Elisabeth fixed her gaze on the distance.
— Look, mom, I know it's not right, but I tried to avoid it, I swear I tried to avoid it — Elisabeth started talking quickly, trying to justify herself — I wanted to keep him away as much as I wanted to be with him, but he said he wanted me and I couldn't resist...
— Elschen…
— I know he's friends with dad, I know he's older, I know he has two kids, I know all of that, but I couldn't help but fall in love with him...
— Dear…
— And I'm willing to fight for what I feel for him. I love him, I want to be with him. And I'll fight for it because I'm tired...
— Elisabeth…
— I'm tired of pretending I don't love Toto. I'm tired of not being able to hold his hand, not being able to walk with him on the street, not even being able to take a boat ride without being afraid of getting caught with him...
— Elisabeth Renate Lauda, would you be quiet and listen to me? — Marlene snapped, her voice sharp.
Elisabeth stopped mid-sentence, looking at her mother, her eyes filled with tears.
— A long time before you were born, I had come to Ibiza to help my mother and siblings settle here after your grandfather died. Then, one afternoon, I got a call from your father saying that he was leaving Vienna right then, and he was on his way here. I asked him why, and he said he would tell me when he got to the airport.
Elisabeth swallowed hard.
— He came in a Cessna 421 from Vienna to Ibiza. He got here at midnight. When he got off the plane, I walked over to greet him, and he kissed me — Marlene smiled — So I asked him why he'd come and he just said he missed me. My heart melted right away.
— I can imagine — Elisabeth muttered.
— I took him to your grandmother's house and introduced him as a friend I'd met at a party at Curd's house. She didn't question me, but I could tell that she was suspicious of both of us. The next day, I took him to see the island. After all, I grew up here. Of course, we didn't just walk around, we also hugged, kissed, even had sex once or twice on a deserted beach near Caló de s'Illa…
— Mother!
— What?
— I don't need details!
Marlene raised an eyebrow.
— You’re acting like you don't have sex, Elisabeth.
— That doesn't mean I need… Or want, for that matter, to know about your sex life with dad.
Her mother rolled her eyes.
— The point is, that night after dinner, your dad and I went out to sit on the porch, and we ended up kissing. Your grandma saw us. I will never forget the way she looked at me as she said that she knew the moment I arrived on the island that I was in love with someone.
Elisabeth immediately understood what she meant.
— Elschen, mothers know. They always know. I knew that Christmas Eve when you left the table to take a call. You, always disciplined, always toeing the line, breaking a rule? It needed to be someone very important. Someone you would drop everything for. Someone you love.
— Mom…
— Of course, I didn't immediately assume it was Toto. You know a lot of people, it could’ve been any one of them. But, you were very interested in going to the Prize Giving Gala in Qatar, and that made me realize who you were in love with. Hopelessly in love, judging by the photos I saw.
Elisabeth fixed her gaze on the trees, which were swaying slightly in the breeze.
— I will admit, I had reservations about him. I knew that he was a polite man who respected you deeply, but I wasn’t sure if he liked you as much as you liked him. But watching him run into that office after hearing you yell at your brother convinced me that he really does love you.
Elisabeth was silent, her throat tight.
— I just can't understand why you didn't say anything before, Elschen.
— I was afraid of your reaction. I was afraid you'd get mad.
— Why would I be mad, Elisabeth?
— Mathias did.
— And since when do you care about what your big-headed brother thinks?
— And there's the whole dad thing — Elisabeth replied, her fingers fiddling with the ring on her right hand — Toto is his friend, his only friend. And… I just fell in love with him. Falling in love with your dad’s only friend sort of feels off-limits.
— Do you remember how I met your father, Elschen?
— At Curd Jürgens' party —  she said.
— I was Curd's girlfriend at the time. When I met your father, I fell in love with him, even though I shouldn't have. When I realized it, I was on the edge of the cliff, with him by my side. Attraction is the path to the precipice that is love. And the moment you jump with someone, it's because the two of you trust each other enough to know you're going to fly. Your dad and I jumped. And you and your brothers are the results of this leap we've taken.
Elisabeth looked at her mother with tears in her eyes.
— I would never be mad at you for following your heart, my love —  Marlene said, putting an arm around her daughter’s shoulders — You are my daughter. My daughter, as well as your father’s. In the end, you are here because you father and I followed our hearts.
A tear rolled down her cheek as she leaned her head on her mother's shoulder. Elisabeth realized how exhausted she was from fighting the whole world to keep her relationship with Toto hidden. It was all too much — too much effort, too many lies, too many secrets, too much time. What they had was too beautiful to remain hidden within the walls of their Oxfordshire home.
— Mom — she sobbed.
— Yes, darling?
— Does dad know?
— If he does, he’s never said anything to me. I’ve never said anything to him, not least because I wasn't sure of anything, despite you two being very… Obvious, at least in my opinion.
— Do you think he'll be mad at me?
Marlene sighed.
— You won't know until you tell him, Elschen.

Note
Because a lot of people did so, here my contribution to the Walker kids (also shamelessly to just talk about one of my OCs that i never manage to talk about):
Grace, born right in the middle of David and Logan, in April 2000, tho to a different mom, which is all fine and well, they all three were together for awhile and happy about the kid. Grace was a papa's girl, she loved Elias a lot
Tho when Grace was 8, they split up and Grace went with her mum to her home country of Germany (why? I'm german it's the only reason) There she still grew up around military, because her step dad also was a soldier, just in the german airforce.
She started growing resentful to Elias, because she thought that he didn't want anything to do with her anymore, because there were no calls, no letters, nothing from him. Eventhough she wrote him countless times, til she was 14 and gave up.
After ODIN took place she used her us-citizenship (cause she was born there) to join the us army too, given that she never really lost her sense of home to the US and also partly to see if she can manage to run across Elias or her brothers along the way and see if they even remember her.
She worked her ass of, becomming one of the best and coming on Merricks radar and getting pulled into the ghosts, where she for the first time again sees Elias, who does not seem to recognise her (she isn't running under the name Walker, but her Step dads name that she took when her mum and him got married). She plays along, staying distant to Elias, because she doesn't wanna get close to him again, not if he doesn't remember her.
She does tell him or rather everyone, in a fit, when she couldn't hold it down anymore. She basically turns to scream everything she had in her since she was 9/10 and started thinking her dad forgot her. Everyone is perplex, because Elias did say that he has a daughter out there somewhere, they all still thought she was (more or less) safe in Europe. Hesh and Logan are stunned that ther sister is back, without anyone knowing, especially because they thought that she left them, never to be heard from again.
Elias is just hurt and angry, not at Grace tho, he lets her scream everything out, before hugging her and apologizing that she felt that way and that he could never forget her, before telling her his side. Because what Grace and the boys didn't know was that the split wasn't nice behind the scene, that's why Grace's mum took her onto a whole different continent and that she left without an address or a number that he can call to keep in contact, he wanted to but he couldn't. (Also he did write letters for her birthdays and other stuff, had them in a drawer for the day that they actually either meet again or he finds an address to send them to, but they got lost in the destruction of ODIN) Basically her mother cut off all ties and the letters that Grace wrote, seemed to never have been sent out to Elias in the first place. Which obviously leads to a whole other sort of anger, but they decide to try to contact her mother, when the shit around them dies down a little bit.
When the shock dies down the boys get excited that they got their lost sister back. And they all do grow closer againm and start to catch up about how life went while they were apart.
That's it for now, also don't ask how that worked with custody and everything, in my head basically Elias gave up his, because it all would've been difficult with Grace being on a diffrent continent, but i don't know, not my area of expertise. And to the fact that he couldn't find them, if you don't manually agree to be put into the telephone book here in Germany, no-one can find out your address without illegal methods (unless you post it somewhere else yourself, we take privacy very serious)
-🐑
That's some well thought out lore! Nice. Points for tragedy, everybody got hurt here. Dang. Poor girl, just wanted her dad.
Ngl tho she funny as hell for not telling them. Undercover until she get's pissed enough, lmaoooo.
I was gonna make a joke about needing to make my own Walker but I think I already did lmao, I forget his name tho. Roger? Call sign was dumb too. I should make like actual notes on him, it'd be fun.

Pantalone's Backstory

note: welcome to "I give my favorite character a very depressing backstory before we get one in canon". suffer with me. these are some headcanons I made up for what might have happened in pantalone's life. I cried writing this, I am in pain
contains: angst, general headcanons about his backstory, me making up stuff about his family tree, the ✨ baizhu ✨ conspiracy
warnings: mentions of death and illness of loved ones, exploitation by the rich, prostitution, terrible working conditions, miscarriage, descriptions of bullying and abuse (most of these things do not happen to pantalone himself but his family members)

Pantalone has been loved before but he's learnt that without money, love was not able to thrive nor last.
The first instance in which he notices this was his mother.
Pantalone was born into a rather poor family, with his dad being the one to bring home all the earnings for the family. They lived in a worn-down old house near the city and his dad owned a little restaurant that the locals would frequently visit.
When a wealthy business man opened a restaurant chain in the city, Pantalone's father was "in the way" and thus the man caused the little restaurant and its owner to go bankrupt. Left with a mountain of debt and no source of income to reasonably pay it off with, Pantalone's father along with the whole family was catapulted into poverty and having to fight for enough resources to keep all family members alive and healthy.
The business man eventually married Pantalone's mother after she had left the family to be with him. Pantalone was very young at the time and did not understand why his mother had just abandoned them. Why he couldn't have all the things they did. Why she turned him away when he showed up at their doorstep wanting to see her. Why he never got any special gifts like the other kids his age
While the other children would often come to school with brand new, shiny toys that their parents bought them for their birthday or other holidays, the most Pantalone had was wooden figures handmade by his dad. Which he appreciated of course. He knew his father could not afford anything else. The other kids however did not.
They'd often make fun of him for his second-hand clothing that came from cheap merchant stands or donations and for being poor and very thin. There were times Pantalone was malnourished because his family didn't always have enough food. The other kids would break the toys his dad made for him, calling them pathetic.
When Pantalone tried to fight back he was reprimanded by his teachers because "violence is not the answer" despite the fact that Pantalone was a very weak child who couldn't seriously injure anyone nor was he at fault for the conflicts that had occured.
When times were particularly bad, his father would have to beg for money on the streets. Pantalone remembers being 10 and coming to see his dad only to watch him be beaten up and spat at by the drunk heir to a wealthy family. Pantalone remembers asking his father what happened and him just trying to smile, pat his head an tell him not to worry about it. Pantalone remembers what he felt like when he knelt down beside his father to fish the Mora out of the dirt and puddles where the man had tossed his father's hat in which he collected the money people had given him.
When Pantalone was 14, his sister who was ten years older than him became pregnant from a man who had left her upon finding out about the baby.
Because she feared not having enough Mora to care for both herself and her son, Pantalone's sister turned to prostitution to be able to feed her kid once he was born, as no other workplace had agreed to hire her.
Due to complications with the pregnancy and the lack of necessary financial aid to pay for the medical support, Pantalone's sister lost her child before it was even born.
Not long after, she herself passed away in what was framed as "an unfortunate work accident".
Pantalone had held his sister's hand on the hospital bed during her final moments
Over and over again Pantalone had to watch the rich enjoy themselves at the expense of his family. He had to watch them bring ruin upon the people he cared about. He witnessed them pray to the gods and thank them for blessing them with the wealth they had. And all the while Pantalone asked himself why the gods hated him and his family. What his dad and his sister had done to deserve the hand they were dealt.
That's what Pantalone internalized. That the gods despised him and that he would despise the gods in return. That they deserved to be destroyed.
Pantalone's father eventually took on a mining job. The miners would gather precious gems in harsh conditions that would later be used to craft fine jewelry for the rich and entitled. His dad already suffered from health issues due to the bad work environment and often came home with injuries, but the job paid enough for him to be able to provide for his son somewhat properly.
But when his father was caught trying to steal some gems to free them from the poverty they lived in, he was forced to work for even longer each day in order to not be fined and forced into even more debt. While his father was at work for 13 hours each day, Pantalone would take care of the household.
In his youth he often took on simple jobs to help out his dad.
The terrible working conditions have left Pantalone's father in bad health conditions and he's also in a wheelchair now and cannot speak anymore after an accident while mining in the mountains.
Pantalone has learnt sign language to communicate with his father.
The reason why he and Dottore are rather close is because Pantalone provides the funding for Dottores experiments while Dottore uses his medical knowledge to make sure Pantalone's father is kept in stable condition and is able to live for longer than the doctors had expected him to.
After becoming the richest Fatui Harbinger, Pantalone had met his mother again on the street. The woman did not recognize him anymore as she hadn't seen him in decades and now she was ready to engage in idle chit-chat with the man she thought was a stranger. He had asked her questions about her life with the false, polite smile he always wore on his face and she'd happily answer them, bragging about her life that was filled with nothing she had ever truly earnt. Pantalone looked at her face and remembered how he rang her doorbell in the pouring rain when he was 6. How he saw her glimpse through the curtains and pretend that she wasn't home. How her husband eventually sent him away and threatened to call the authorities if Pantalone wouldn't leave their property.
Pantalone remembered everyone who had brought ruin upon him and his family. He abandoned his given name, became "Pantalone", bought out their businesses and sent them spiraling into financial debt just as they had once done with his father. He made sure their shadiest deals and their crimes would become public to remove any chance for them to exit the poverty they were now forced to live in. The tables had turned for Pantalone.
As for his mother's husband....well, the man eventually died under "mysterious circumstances" after Pantalone had hired an assassin to take care of the matter.
Pantalone's mother was now a rich widow and the wealth of her late husband belonged to her and the son she had with him. The golden child who was given every support he ever needed. Who grew up in luxury and was able to study medicine due to his parents' funding of his studies. Pantalone had never held a conversation with his half-brother, but the intel he had on him was enough for him to despise that pharmacist with every fiber of his being.
Now that he had taken care of the wealthy, the gods would be next.

I love thinking about fresh permissions and all of the unspoken things that have happened off-screen or have the potential to happen!!
I always think about how one of my older sister's best friends got pregnant while she was on the birth control shots bc they're actually not as reliable as you might think, especially if you aren't consistent with them (so I imagine Bruce does a lot of the taking care of the shots bit, and Tim just lets him, so one day Bruce gets injured maybe and they forget to do Tim's shot for a few days. They remember eventually but little do they know it's a case of too little too late, and Tim is pregnant again before too long)
I also love to think about Tim's pregnancy, like how often do he and Bruce sneak away to fuck, where do they do it, what is it like? Who likes pregnancy sex better, Bruce or Tim? Does Tim prefer to ride Bruce or let Bruce mount him from behind? There's so much to think about lmao have you thought about writing a one shot about Bruce and Tim fucking throughout Tim's pregnancy with Tommy?
Also love to think about the future based off of what Dick says about how he sees Jason look at Tim, and how he wants to fuck a baby into his perfect baby brother. So three years down the line, maybe, Tommy is coming up on his fourth birthday, he has a two year old sister (Dick's daughter) and a one year old brother (Bruce's son) and his mommy is pregnant again with twins maybe (Jason's). And Tim is the prettiest mommy any of the others have ever seen, so when he isn't busy being the best mom ever to his babies, he's busy being fucked full by his brothers and Bruce (who promise they'll keep Tim nice and pregnant for as long as he wants, as often as he wants, bc it turns out Tim loves being full and heavy with his family's babies)
What's the future look like for Tim in fresh permissions, when you think about it?
fresh persimmons has such a special place in my heart because it was originally supposed to be something else with dick kind of just yearning for what bruce and tim had but instead it became dick getting on the path to living this fulfilling life that he always fantasized but never really believed he'd get.
i purposefully left a few ambiguous details because it's from the point of view of dick and what he saw and interpreted may not necessarily be correct. so tim going out and being 'eager' to get back out as a vigilante isn't wholly accurates it's just something he feels he should do because that's how he and bruce are at their best: being together and being out in gotham together. bruce in the scene where dick sees him comforting tim on the couch is assuring tim that he doesn't need to be his robin and bruce won't love him any less. but dick thinks it has to do with tim wanting to go back to WE and the streets.
so when dick confesses to bruce and tim that he knows tommy is their son and that they're together and he's seen how happy they are together and how tommy has brought life into their eyes and he just- he wants something like that too. dick has known for a long time that he may never get to be a father, may never get to be a family. too much of his time and energy and life is tied into being nightwing. his friends are other capes, his romantic partners are part of the community- if he ever decided to leave, which he doesn't see himself doing, he'd be...alone. there's very little of him that indulges in the normalcy that he's seen in other people his own age. sometimes dick depresses himself further by looking up old classmates from high school. married, married, promoted, expecting their third child, traveling, expecting their first child, happy, happy, happy.
when tommy had been born dick had cried at the sight of a tiny little scrunched up face in tim's arms. something empty in his chest had just 'clicked'. a little part of dick ached everytime tommy was tugged out of his arms in favor of his parents because well...they were tommy's parents and dick was just the uncle.
he can't hide his attraction to tim as he confesses to what he wants. as he tells tim about how his body is dying for this so please please please- can he, could he, would they let him-?
dick does get what he wants but not immediatly. tim is still on birth control shots and there are a few other things to get clear. but that doesn't mean tim doesn't let dick indulge in his attraction.
dick gets to sit in on tim and bruce's intimate moments. he watches with pronounced interest as bruce kisses tim, slipping his tongue into a plush mouth and letting his hands grope all down tim's sweet sides. dick swallows thickly watching bruce's cock slide into tim's little hole, length parting the lips of his cunt and letting him sink all the way in with a grunt and sigh from both of them.
bruce is showing dick how to do it "right" and dick really has no way to question bruce's expertise considering that so far he's the only one who's gotten tim pregnant.
bruce has a fascination with the idea of impregnating tim, fantasizing about getting him knocked up while fucking him. it's a kink. something that hits dick with startling realization as he watches bruce fuck into tim, eyes locked on where they're joined as he mumurs soft words about making tim a mama again.
dick can't say the words don't have an effect on him. the way tim squirms and pants, the way his sweet eyes get bright and the way he pants 'yes yes yes yes' to all of bruce's words.
dick is very invested in the thoughts of his baby, already buying up little outfits and toys he spots in windows while shopping. it's all he thinks about most days and especially while having sex with tim. he revels over tim's sweet body and the plushness that came with pregnancy.
a few months later when tim confirms his pregnancy with a blood test dick can't stop crying while hugging him. bruce offers his sincere congratulations while rocking a fussing tommy, the most content expression on his face.
that same week tim officially retires from the field and submits his letter of resignation to WE.
dick fusses over tim in every way possible as he's pregnant. tim allows him to coddle and baby him, taking pleasure in dick massaging his sore feet. the only thing that dick is concerned about is sex. he gets too nervous being rough with tim which is unfortunate because tim's sex drive goes through the roof when he'd pregnant, something he learned while having tommy.
but it's alright because bruce is there to help take care of him and bruce is more than happy to fuck tim while he's full with child. just another step up in the breeding kink he so clearly has but refuses to acknowledge.
jason is around more with tim's second pregnancy. it's almost adorable how curious he gets, asking tim questions about babies and how he feels and whether something is normal. he does this while sliding tommy out of bruce's grip at every oppertunity. tommy stops crying for only two people: his mama and jason. jason appears to be very touched at the realization.
damian is furiously at work with stitching together a new set of feeding bibs with the sewing machine tim got him for christmas.
the family is so much lighter together, happier. in the last year and a half since tim first announced he was pregnant the anor has been filled with more laughter and happiness than it has in the last decade.
by the end of the next year and a half dick hasn't been able to go a day without smiling. his sweet baby mary is practically part of his body from how often people see her in his arms. she wears the sweetest little headband with cute flowers stitched on and little puffy-sleeved dresses that dick can't help cooing over. she's so perfect and sweet and round and cute. nobody even makes fun of him for it or gives him grief. not even tim who dick knows gets a little annoyed at his hovering when he's nursing baby mary.
but dick can't help it! there's something so sweet about the closed-eyed- contentness on his baby's face as she's drinking milk from her mama's tit.
dick can feel the eyes of the family linger on the sight of him and sweet baby mary whenever dick starts little daddy-daughter dances in the middle of the room. bruce's eyes are soft, alfred's amused.
both jason and damian roll their eyes but dick can still feel a sort of warmness from them as they watch.
by the next year there's another addition to the family. a sweet little boy courtesy of bruce who hasn't been able to keep his hands off tim ever since tim fully pulled away from the vigilante scene and settled into motherhood.
with every year that passes that dark storm cloud that always lingered over the family, those stained souls that became heavier to carry- all of it lightened and eased.
as the years pass in their home, everything and everyone slowly begins glowing with an emotion they'd all thought they'd lost. happiness.

I just realized today is my late granny's birthday, so y'all are gonna get some fun facts about her
she was born in the 1910s (she was already almost 80 by the time i was born, so most of this is either from her stories or stories from various relatives)
she was half native american, her father was a wealthy merchant who fell in love, this was not super normal for the time so for my granny's protection he paid off the records keeper to change her birth cert.
her father was wealthy as i mentioned so she lived a posh life, (until the money ran out), when she was 17 she drove a fancy car into a ditch and she didn't drive again for the rest of her life (she may have been drunk) again this was the early 1900s
She was married to 7 or 8 different men (the number is fuzzy)
She had between 14-24 pregnancies, 13 of those made it to adulthood, the youngest of which is my father
my favorite photo of her is her two oldest daughters holding their babies and her holding my father, my father has nieces and nephews that are in fact older than him, they sarcastically call him uncle
she got into a bar fight and ended up hooking one of the guys in the holding cell up with her oldest daughter (they were married for 60ish years before he passed, great guy, he was older than my mother's father lmao)
her and my grandfather (and possibly some other relatives) used to go to ummmm those shows that are x rated, peep shows, i think they're called,
she firmly believed in fairies, (perfect timing with the whole walrus thing) and most things supernatural, a lot of my family has carried that on, myself included (maybe not fairies but ghosts and some other stuff like El Chupacabra)
she was an expert seamstress, all the grandkids have cool dolls she made us, still have mine
She and my grandfather were divorced and remarried 3 different times, they died married
ironically both my grandparents were raised wealthy but all of the money dried up before they were adults (i'm talking generational wealth)
She was very pious, church was important, but she also wasn't judgmental, had no problem with her gay grandkids (again this is hearsay she was extremely old by the time i knew her)
she drank a glass of whiskey a night (sometimes more lmao), she took it neat, lived to be in her 90s! she didn't smoke but my grandfather was a notorious chain smoker, he was in his late 80s when he died (2 months after her)
Extra fun fact, my grandfather was a code breaker during ww2, he wouldn't speak around this certain part of houston where there are a bunch of phone lines and power lines, like he would just go silent, when asked about it he'd say classified soooooo idk, he also believed in aliens something that rubbed off on a bunch of us, he had 2 kids with granny, and adopted one of hers who didn't find out she was adopted by him until his funeral, she thought he was her bio dad
ALSO they both died in a house that is still owned by family, i have 100% heard them talking in the room they died in, the dogs (new ones that weren't around for them i was a teen when they died) refuse to go in that room, and other people have reported hearing them or seeing things in the room
