I agree with your takes AJ! Tbh, while I was disappointed we didn’t take a receiver with the 5th pick, the coaching staff had already been pretty clear that their focus will be toughening up that OL (something we def needed). Plus we did get a good receiver, and I hope we can pick up some others in free agency. All in all, we know chargers are in a rebuild/transition year so I’m just staying cautiously optimistic 🤷🏽♀️
They drafted Brenden Rice in the 7th round!! Who I actually really like I watched him play a bit this season so they definitely are beefing up their WR room!!! Like you said, cautiously optimistic but genuinely happy about this transition year we will see how it goes!!!

AJ how do you feel about how the draft went?
So glad you asked…
I was sad about the Joe Alt pick because I felt like number 5 overall was wayyyy too high for an offensive lineman especially when Malik was still available BUT…prioritizing Justin’s protection and therefore his longevity is always a plus. Both of his injuries have been due to interior o-line collapses not tackles, so I’m hoping they can figure that out.
We’ll see what Ladd is going to do I wasn’t really a Georgia watcher but he’s fast as hell and his film is promising, I would still like for them to beef up the wide receiver room before the season starts but at least there is someone to throw the ball to!!
(Joe and Justin also seem very similar so I’m sure he’s excited as well)
The last few picks have been defense which is a desperate need, I’m hearing the second corner picked Cam Hart is a steal, I don’t watch Notre Dame but I like it!
Overall not bad at all, very little complaints and I’m excited to see this new era in action. Not setting my expectations super high I’m just ready to watch football again!

Who would you say are the most popular hockey players in here?
Um probably Mat Barzal who plays for the Isles and the Hughes brothers Quinn (plays for the Canucks) and Jack mostly but Luke might be getting up there too and they both play for the Devils! When I was more on hockey tumblr Matthew Tkachuk was up there as well but I’m not too sure about now I’m sorry!!

Story time…
So I am a football junkie and I was watching the chiefs and chargers play in 2020 because it was the primetime afternoon game that was showing on tv and I heard that Justin was starting because the original starter Tyrod Taylor had a punctured lung. Naturally, I went and looked up everything there was to know about this poor man that was thrown in at the last second and when I tell you I feel in love immediately? It was a moment in history honestly😂
I was taking a break from school then but I was super interested in the fact that he was a Biology major because that’s my major as well and he just seemed so normal and kind and definitely that boy next door that you have a crush on in high school you know? He’s just so cute and phenomenal at what he does…anything he does!!!
The more I found out about him the more I liked and now it’s been four years and I’m pretty sure it’s not going to stop anytime soon…so here I am.
STUCK on this mayo man who hates being seen in public and I love everything about him

I’m so excited but like nervous for this week!!! If they trade down whatever fine we need receivers still. If they draft an o-lineman at 5 I’ll throw up because we need receivers still. And if they draft MHJ or Malik Nabers at 5 I’ll scream and run around my house because we need a receiver…still.
Definitely excited for this new era though whatever happens it can’t be much worse than the last few years of heartbreak so my hopes aren’t up but I am ready for this new era!!!

Probably bc he's an attention-seeking windbag who single-handedly tanked his career with his terrible behaviour. That's just my guess tho.
This is the same Antonio Brown who stripped shirtless and ran off back to the locker room during a game, refusing to play and ending his football career after a catalogue of scandals and bizarre fuck-ups.
The same Antonio Brown who also went on to harass a woman he didn't know in a public pool by shoving his bare ass in her face. The list continues.
This is not a man to be taken seriously by anyone and yet people still seem to afford him the time of day when he's clearly not all there anymore.
For the more sane and serious among us: Justin has a No Trade Clause in his contract extension, which he signed last summer. He cannot be traded unless he also agrees to it. Have people just forgotten this? Open the schools.
It would be insanity of the highest order for the Chargers to trade away our No. 1 player for some untested draft pick. It's not going to happen.
People just don't like the idea of the Chargers having nice shiny things.
