The more sophistically attuned your psychic body becomes, the more you realise nature and the Earth have different spiritual layers and spectrums. The New Age movement told us the Earth is gentle, soft..that Mama Gaia is nourishing..this is partially true.. The Earth (think of Demeter) can give yet the Earth can eliminate as well.
If you want to understand yourself better, observe animals and nature. If you want to understand the Law of Nature (which is not always the "softest" law which is something that is not well understood by modern spirituality) , animals teach you how to be connected to your root chakra. I am not saying to look at life from a survival mode pov though (which also implies a root chakra imbalance), however I do believe many people are not connected to their primal instincts and therefore cannot properly function in society.
If you are suffering from the following problems, studying the animal kingdom may be beneficial:
Good girl syndrome? Animals are neither categorized as good or bad. Animals defend themselves because it is in their nature to survive. Sorry to say this but sometimes life is a jungle and you must act accordingly to survive. As I said, Nature can be harsh sometimes but the Law of Nature always prevails.
Sexual guilt and purity culture
Fear of nudity
Fear of being hurt, blocking your heart and staying alone because you think you'd protect yourself from being hurt, hyper independence; Most animal species live in group to protect themselves from predators because they instinctively know that they must rely on each other to survive.. Hyper-independence is a myth and do not fall in this New Age paradigm "if you desire love from others, it probably means you don't love yourself enough". It is 100% normal to desire human connections and romance. Self love does not exclude this inherent desire for human connections.

Root Chakra Pick-a-Card
For this PAC, I want to start my longtime project of launching a general reading that has the themes of Chakra development. And since we're talking about the Root Chakra, also called Muladhara, this reading will be talking about your confidence, security, stability, earth energy, and strength.
Choose the picture that calls to you the most.
Pile 1 ➡️ 2
Pile 3 ➡️ 4
Tumblr media
Pile 1
Ace of Swords • 10 of Pentacles • King of Swords • 4 of Swords
This pile is very straightforward with its message. In order for you to feel secure and safe in your life, you would need to fight for what you believe in, no matter how many people seem to be against it. Yes, there is a difference between fighting for your beliefs and being outright stubborn. But this pile isn't talking about stubbornness. It's giving the impression that a lot of people seem to knock down your ideas from the get-go. People have the tendency to nip your ideas in the bud, and this tends to affect you tremendously. You can only take so much rejection and disapproval from the people you thought had your back.
But in spite of that, you are called by the Universe — especially by your Highest Self — that you should always be at your corner even when no one else seems to be there any longer. As long as you know you're not hurting anyone and you're not committing something that will put you in harm's way, you have all the right reasons to believe in yourself and in your own voice. Part of developing our Root Chakra is creativity. So, be as creative in spearheading and executing your ideas to fruition as you can. You have the Ace of Swords with the King of Swords in this reading. Wield the sword of wisdom that you've always had inside you, and everything else will follow.
•—•—•—•—•—•—•
Pile 2
7 of Pentacles • 3 of Pentacles • The Morning • 2 of Cups
For those of you who chose this pile, you may have been doing things in your life all by yourself most of the time. It could be your upbringing that conditioned you to think that you can only rely on yourself. But Pile 2, there is absolutely nothing wrong with collaborating with people! I can see a lot of people around you who have genuine intentions of helping you achieve that security you yearn for. Allowing people to help you whenever they can won't make you a weak person. On the contrary, it makes you a self-assured kind of person because it illustrates that your ego isn't so easily damaged by people lending their hand to you.
In addition, this reading is telling you that it's okay to let your guard down. Being able to connect with people is your key to success in securing your safety and stability. I know a lot of you are the type to want to strive all by yourselves. But the old adage proves wisely: "two pairs of hands are better than one." Moreover, the 2 of Cups is signifying that you may also find safety with a romantic partner. There is a high chance that being in a relationship will actually prove to be helpful for you, and that your partner will be the one to aid you through finding security in this life. It could mean that they're very protective of you, being the one to help you with financial matters, or even just being your rock and pillar when you need them to be.
•—•—•—•—•—•—•
Pile 3
9 of Cups • The Night • 3 of Cups • The Tower
With this pile, I can see that generosity is what will bring you safety, stability, and security in this lifetime. By not being so tight-fisted about your resources, you can invite a positive energy into your life; thus, encouraging a string of good fortune and good karma. As long as you're choosing the right people to give assistance and resources to, you're bound to receive some sort of reward for your generous efforts in uplifting other people who need a helping hand from you. In addition, you would have gained alliances and connections with people in their most vulnerable state. I believe that people will remember the good deeds you have done to them, and it will come to your advantage in time.
Speaking of that, when you've given help towards the right kind of people, they will never forget it. I believe that people will remember the good deeds you have done to them, and it will come to your advantage in time. In return, you can rest assured that when the moment comes that you are the one in need of help and assistance, you will have a plethora of people to ask from, and you shall become a part of the cycle of a positive give-and-take. With that, you'll actually be more secure that you think because you have people to back you up instead of bearing your burden alone.
•—•—•—•—•—•—•
Pile 4
The Hermit • 4 of Pentacles • Judgment • The Tower
Wow, out of all the piles, this one is the most blatant in its message, and the opposite of Pile 3. If you've chosen this pile, you need to be wise and frugal with your resources. You cannot be loose with your money, time, efforts, and energy if you want to be safe and secure in this lifetime. I can see how many people prowl around you, ready to take advantage of your kindness and good-hearted nature. You need to wisen up, Pile 4! Not everyone has good intentions for you, and there are people waiting to see you fall and fail so they can pick up the pieces for themselves instead of helping you.
To aid you in this matter, you need to choose your circles very prudently. You cannot afford to be in bad company as it is a waste of time, energy, and they might just take what they can from you in the name of "friendship." Do not be flashy with your wealth or earnings because people can smell that like blood in a pool full of sharks. Avoid distributing your resources to people unless you know they will absolutely pay you back. Just keep on hustling quietly, keep your head down, and make sure that you're mingling with the right crowds.

Let’s Talk About: The Root Chakra
The root chakra is the first chakra, associated with the color red, and rules your tailbone, feet and glutes (the part of you that touches the ground when you walk or sit).
The root chakra governs your groundedness and feeling safe in your body and environment. It’s what helps you feel rooted and stabilized. It quite literally roots your energy into the planetary grid. Think of your root chakra as the metal conductors on a plug and how when you connect it to the wall socket a flow of energy is formed. That’s how the root chakra works with your own energy.
Root Chakra Blockages
Blockages can occur when your safety is threatened—abuse, physical assaults, being stalked, living around unstable people or in unstable conditions, to name a few. Or when your space, autonomy, or rights are violated—sexual assault or similar things.
You may also struggle with root chakra imbalances if you struggle to ground your energy through your full system, ie your energy is sort of stuck in the crown. That’s why spiritual people say it’s important to ground yourself. You can get so crown heavy you disconnect from your body and struggle to move or operate it. This has happened to me.
As a naturally spiritual person, I actually struggle to move my energy down to my root. Especially because my way of dealing with not feeling safe was to escape into daydreams or to go find somewhere to hide alone. I’m used to keeping my energy up higher, in my crown and third eye, where it’s safer. As I’ve been healing I’ve consciously been pushing my energy down. It usually gets blocked starting at throat chakra then down.
Signs of Root Chakra Imbalances:
— feeling spacy or unable to focus (struggling to ground the energy from your mind)
— feeling separate from your body or dissociation (struggling to ground due to a disconnect in your flow of energy through your energetic field)
— feeling paranoid about your safety, or like thinking people are out to get you, being so worried about someone breaking into your house, etc. (not grounding into the safety of this now moment via your mental body)
— shutting down, if you freeze or shut down in response to conflict or other triggering, this is a sign of root chakra imbalance at the point of entry of the root chakra
— anxiety, aka excessive fear about things outside of your now moment
— lower back pain or feet and ankle issues
How to Heal Your Root Chakra:
— somatic exercise, specifically yoga around hip opening exercises, and thigh stretching, stretching of the glutes, this can carry a lot of trauma associated with the root chakra
— eating root vegetables
— walking barefoot on the ground
— sitting and meditating on the ground, connect the palms of your hands to the ground and imagine energy flowing up through you from all the skin contact you make with the ground, lying down will be the most contact
— spending time outside
— eating heavy food or wearing heavy clothes (since root chakra imbalances struggle to ground you, eating things or wearing things that add weight can force you down too—that’s how weighted blankets work. They weigh the person down so they can feel more safe when they are having anxiety aka a root chakra imbalance because anxiety is rooted in fears that are usually not present at the moment
— building muscle, again adds weight and can make you feel more grounded in your body
— surround yourself with the color red and things that light you up with passion

Money & The Lower Chakras
Money is connecting to our 3 lower chakras:
Root
Sacral
Solar
The root chakra deals with our security and stability. Are ability to feel safe and confident in our environment.
Sacral deals with our emotions, our creativity, passion, sexuality/sensuality. Creative ideas flow from this area in our lives and how we choose to express them.
Solar is our ego, our expression and how we use our raw power to get what we want.
Money flows to these 3 chakras the most. If these chakras are not in good condition, this usually shows that there is a blockage when it comes to the flow of money.
When it comes to your root chakra, do you not feel like you have enough money? do you not feel secure in your position or safe to have money?
With the sacral you most likely arent surrending to your emotions, could be uncomfortable with expressing your creativity, sensuality & sexuality. Out of all the chakras i mentioned, this is THE one you should focus on to know how to flow so that money can flow to YOU and not away from you.
Now with the solar, are you allowing yourself to be confident and fully in your power? You must reflect on why you arent allowing yourself to be who you are suppose to be because that helps KEEPS the money!
Now we understand the root chakra helps sustain it and make it last longer, the sacral is what keeps it flowing towards us, and the solar is what drives us to receive more !
So when these chakras are out of whack, it prevents us from allowing the universe to give us more. All 3 have a lot to do with what we want and how we go about it so its keep to allow yourself to have the desires you want without feeling like you cant get them in some way.
i hope this helps! i made this short sweet and simple for anyone who wants an idea on the chakras and how they work with us!

Root Chakra
The Root Chakra controls instincts, basic needs, safety and stability. Being the first chakra starting from below, it anchors the soul to the physical body, giving the individual a physical form and physical awareness. Groundedness and trust are sourced from this chakra.
Once open, the individual will be asked to re-examine their perception of and approach to safety and stability, in order to release trauma, self-esteem issues and fears. A new self will emerge in this process, with increased passion and courage.
The key to unlock the Root Chakra is CONFIDENCE ⭐
The vibration of this chakra resonates with the BODY 🤸
The fastest way to block this chakra is through FEAR 😨
The wisdom hidden in this chakra is of INDEPENDENCE 💪

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Continuing with the series on the 7 Chakras, today I felt guided to post about Root. This is one of the hardest chakras to balance because most of what the Root Chakra manages is caused by external circumstances and/or people, which may cause a great amount of psychological damage if the situations persist for long periods of time. One of the interesting paradoxes of the Root is that it resonates with the body yet the damage shows in the mind. However, not everything is tragic about it. Since this is the simplest chakra, the solution is also relatively simple (theoretically): need nothing, fear nothing, let nothing define (affect) you.

𖣔 Chakras 𖣔
Mythology, Association with zodiac , shadow work .
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mythology
In Hinduism, the continuous flow of energy throughout the chakras is referred to as “Shakti”. The concept of chakra was first mentioned in the ancient sacred Hindu text, The Vedas, but also plays an important role in Tibetan Buddhism.
Chakras are located along the spine and influence different nerve systems, organs and glands with their energy. These vortexes of energy are originated from Brahman, according to Hindu beliefs. It is presumed that as Shakti flows from one chakra point to another it exhausts the body and soul. The energy that becomes coiled in the base of the spine (root chakra) is called Kundalini. The spiritual goal is to awaken and release the Kundalini in order to attain a greater consciousness and merge it with the Infinite consciousness of Brahman. Through meditation and Kundalini yoga, the energy can pass back up the spine until it reaches the top of the head (crown chakra), producing a mystical experience.
“Kundalini yoga consists of active and passive asana-based kriyas, pranayama, and meditations which target the whole body system (nervous system, glands, mental faculties, and chakras) to develop awareness, consciousness and spiritual strength.” –Yogi Bhajan
(the above part of mythology extracted from a website )
۞If you are able to balance all the seven chakras it leads to the rise of your kundalini , which enhances creativity and spirituality , most people have some of their chakras blocked .
۞Underactive chakras work Below their efficiency and over active work so much they overshadow the influence of other chakras .
۞Underactive chakras are better than overactive chakras because imagine having an overactive root chakra and working day and night sacrificing your sleep .
۞Chakras can be balanced using shadow work , meditation , reiki healing , yoga etc.

Mantras :
You can also recognise your best chakra by chanting the mantra associated with it , the mantra which you feel most consciously is the mantra of your best chakra.
Tumblr media
Note : the yogis suggest that for crown chakra activation , you can either chant the mantra or just listen to your surroundings .
Shadow work:
Though there are various methods for activation of the chakras , i think starting with shadow work is the most efficient one , the journal promots given here are taken via Pinterest , so the credits go to the original makers .

ROOT CHAKRA - Meanings, what can balance, what can unbalance

• Grounding, focus
• Practicality
• Physical energy
• Balance between matter and who you are

Exaggerated focus on material life
Work too much
Fear of change - Comfort zone
Constant procrastination
Self-sabotage
Making fun of people, sense of superiority

Corporal conscience
Balance between work/busyness and rest
