I Have Something For You (Eobard Thawne X Reader)
A/N: Helloooooo. Here's a little one-shot that didn't make it into More Than He Bargained For that I thought you would all enjoy!
---------------------------------
"I have to go out of town for a couple of days," Eobard reluctantly informed you, his expression softening as he looked down at your pouting face. "What? Why?" you protested, your eyes searching his for an explanation.
Eobard couldn't resist the charm of your pout; it made him feel guilty about leaving you. A warm smile graced his lips as he reassured you, "I have to do this thing for work, but I'll be back before you know it."
"Impossible," you countered, pressing a quick, affectionate kiss on his lips before snuggling closer to him. "I always hate when you aren't here."
He sighed, his gaze fixed on you. He wished he could freeze this moment, capture it in eternity. You and him…happy, lovers. You made the stagnant existence in this time period bearable. "Why can't you take me with you?" you asked, breaking him out of his thoughts.
"You know I can't," he replied, his voice filled with a touch of regret.
You groaned in response, not happy but acceptingly. "Alright."
A comfortable silence enveloped the room as the television droned on in the background, providing background noise with its latest stock market analysis.
"I have something for you," Eobard suddenly broke the silence, his voice infused with anticipation.
Your eyes lit up, and you sat up eagerly, a smile tugging at your lips. "Oh? What is it?"
"We have to go outside, though," he teased, pressing a tender kiss on your lips. "Meet me outside," he said, his voice carrying a hint of excitement.
You giggled as you watched him almost trip on his way to your shared bedroom, his playful smile and wink leaving you with a sense of curiosity. Grabbing your shoes, you headed outside to join him.
Eobard's house was a cozy haven, nestled alongside the lake bordering Central City. The backyard was a sight to behold, with towering, lush trees adorned with delicate jar lights. A beautiful garden with a meandering stone path guided you towards the shimmering lake. From this vantage point, you could also see the dazzling cityscape, adding to the enchantment of your little piece of heaven.
"It's beautiful."
You turned around and found Eobard standing beside you, a gentle smile playing on his lips. Your heart fluttered at the sight of him. "It is," you replied, unable to contain your joy.
"Oh, I wasn't talking about the view," he sweetly retorted, his gaze filled with affection.
You couldn't help but grin, feeling the warmth spread across your cheeks.
"Before I go, I wanted to give you something, but first, I have to ask you something," Eobard began, his voice laced with nerves.
Curiosity ignited within you. "Okay," you responded, your voice soft and filled with anticipation.
He took a deep breath, his hand trembling slightly as it ran through his hair. "Is everything okay?" you asked, concern creeping into your voice.
"Yes! Yes, I just—" he stammered, his eyes meeting yours before he finally gathered his composure. Stepping forward, his voice regained strength. "Will you marry me?"
You stood frozen, unable to process the question at first.
Did he just...?
Oh my goodness..
He just asked me to marry him
"Yes, of course!" you squealed with delight as he kissed you passionately, sealing the moment. As you pulled apart, your eyes glanced down and spotted a dazzling diamond ring with your beloved gemstone nestled in the center.
Overwhelmed with joy, you looked up at him and said, "I love you."
A radiant smile graced his face as he replied, "I love you too."

Ok ok
So imagine a universe where Thawne was just more chill (honestly I don’t know how else to say it so that’s what I’m going with) and instead of trying to destroy his life, he’s just mildly antagonistic to Barry
Now imagine him going to this link and ordering hundreds of boxes to Barry’s address

role reversal AU with Barry and Iris? :)
So I've written a couple of these before - and I no doubt will again. [I Know (Do You?) and Hurry Up (To Slow Down)] I do enjoy a good role reversal for these two. :D
So in a role reversal specifically from Iris' point of view, I think she'd initially promise not to tell Barry when Joe asks, but quickly realize from Barry's interest in metahumans and the Flash that keeping him in the dark is pretty cruel. Instead of trying to gaslight him about it or talk him out of investigating, Iris would come clean. Forewarned is forearmed and Iris wants him to be safe about things.
Depending on how long it takes for Iris to tell him, Barry may or may not be upset about it. But if he's upset? He gets over it pretty fast. Iris has always been amazing and his hero and so he's so proud of her for being everyone's hero now.
Eobard is not thrilled. In retrospect he realizes that it isn't that surprising that Iris West had the right genes to become a speedster considering Wally West is destined to become a speedster. Or was destined. What does Eobard know. Maybe Linda Park will become a speedster. *he's waving hands wildly while Gideon wonders if she can get smoke to come out of his ears if she says yes*
since Iris was still in college getting her Masters degree at the time, there would be focus on her trying to maintain her GPA while juggling Flash duties and frustration with EoWells perhaps not respecting her class time, maybe her pointing out that she's not exactly getting paid for her Flash work inspires him to create an internship for her so that she does get paid and can't complain about that anymore.
Because, honestly, Iris doesn't have the Jitters job anymore. it's not her fault she couldn't work while in a coma but what are the odds a part time barista job would get held open for her that long?
There's so many ways things could play out relationship wise. I've done both the Westallen and Westhallen routes, but why not some Barriscowest? Or Snowestallen? Snowest & barrisco? Thallen and Newsvibe (is that what Iris/Cisco is called? that's what I'm going with) There are a lot of possibilities and I do enjoy so many different ships.
Iris and the pipeline... I don't know where she'd stand on that. I'd like to think she'd be against it and so that's the track I'd take writing another one of these AUs, because Iris is the voice of reason. But canon probably would have put her on the pro pipeline train if she hadn't been sidelined like she was. :/
I think Iris would probably try harder to talk things out with the metas. Not always a good idea, but she's much more likely to try to de-escalate a situation than Barry is. So she'd probably be able to talk Shawna down, but trying to empathize with Hartley would likely end with him taking advantage of her sympathy. Though she'd also be less sympathetic towards Snart since, unlike Barry, she doesn't really have the experiences Barry has that made him empathize with Len.
Iris would be tempted to go back in time to save Nora because she loves Barry and she wants him to have his mother. Whether or not she actually does it depends on how her conversation with Henry goes. He was not in favor of changing the timeline to save Nora even though he no doubt wanted her to have a chance to live, so he might be able to talk Iris out of it if he can articulate his feelings on the subject well enough.
a lot of this has focused on Iris, but I think Barry would settle well into back up. He'd probably still get a chance to be a battle couple with her similar to the incident with Tony in canon. Maybe the return of Becky Cooper turns out to be a bad thing when she turns out to be a powered stalker with a crush on Barry?
Barry's also got a pretty close friendship with Cisco and Caitlin already by the time Iris wakes up, which I think would factor into Iris ultimately deciding to tell him pretty quickly. Keeping the secret would not only be potentially putting Barry in danger but damaging his new friendships and Iris wouldn't want to do that to him.

Eowells x reader Nightcall Epilogue?
Hello, long time no see, I hope you at all doing good. I wanted to post this and say that it could be read as a stand alone but is in reality a continuation of nightcall. I hope you enjoy it and as per usual let me know what you think. This also felt like a safe space and piece to come back into writing after such an absence, I’m sorry and I hope you enjoy it.
Tumblr media
It’s been a little too long since the last time any resemblance of emotion other than hatred or pain has crossed his mind. A mind so broken over time in a race he knows he will never win no matter how much he tries to fool himself with the idea that he will. He won’t, deep down he knows this, he has prepared himself for the inevitable outcome, and yet here he is, knotting the robe that will ultimately hang him, he is a dead man walking and he knows it, its a fate he accepted even as he lives through it, playing all the chess pieces the way they are supposed to be played, even if he now knows what moves he could have done differently. Some days, when he is in the mood he likes to write them down, make a list if you will of how he could have prevented the tragedy, his ending.
1. Y/n.
Or so he tries to convince himself, trying to silence the voices of the dead that weight on what’s left of his mind. The past coming to haunt him once again through what’s left of him, telling him how he knows he would do it all over again and again and again, how he would relive every second of the agony and suffering those past few years have been for him, locked in a cell, with the constant reminder of his failure dancing through his vision. Is not like Allen has made it any easier to deal with, or Cisco for that matter, their hatred transformed into pity over the years just serves him to pick on the wounds that will never heal, living in a constant state of rawness.
He tries every night to forget, to close his eyes and pretend he doesn’t see you, he doesn’t see the ghost of you looking back at him, your eyes void of life, he swears he can smell the blood, that he can feel his body burning from the speed, the adrenaline coursing through his veins, the weight of your body as he held it, still warm, still there, your eyes still open but no life left in them.
It’s been 10 years, ten long painful years and he can still recall every damn second of that night, every moment, every mistake. The aftermath of a war that you had no business fighting, a war that belonged to him.
He remembers those first few years, when he would close his eyes almost nightly, revisiting a memory of you he had carved in his heart, the only place he had ever truly found solace, a place he no longer visited. As the years went by he visited it less and less, the solace became torture, a face he knew so well distorting into nothingness, and the more he went the less he could remember you, a final punishment for his soul, to not be able to remember what you looked like, and in the fear of never been able to see you again he opted to close that door, throw the key so far into his mind not even in death would he find it again. Or so he thought.
He doesn’t remember falling asleep, but he wakes up with a strange feeling to his chest, he can’t place his finger on what it is, maybe anxiousness or tranquility, they sometimes feel so similar is hard to distinguish them. He notices how the bed feels, too soft to be the one on his cell and when he rubs his face against the pillow he feels it, that perfume that haunted his every breathing moment, the scent of live itself. Your scent hits him so unexpectedly his eyes threaten to water, his heart flutters so harshly it hurts, and when he finally snaps out of it and lifts his head he notices where he is. His house, the one he shared with you for such a briefly period of time but a time where he can’t even remember what it was like before you even came along, as if it had always been yours and he was just the guest.
“ I didn’t hear you waking up, I would have come back to bed sooner.” His eyes water this time and his heart threatens to kill him, he doesn’t understand anything, he doesn’t understand how you are here, smiling at him, looking at him with that sparkle in your eyes as you climb over the bed to him, wearing one of his white shirts you loved so much.
His silence is so intense, his eyes so sharp on you he can see the change in your expression, the worry taking over at his quietness. Before you can ask him what’s wrong his hand is already caressing your cheek, his fingers digging in your skin, near your hair as he grabs onto you and pulls himself up to sit up, his arms wrapping themselves over your form, his face burying in your hair. He feels your hand on his bare back, caressing it as you try to free your head of his hold to look up at him, wondering with your eyes what’s gotten into him.
“ I have missed you so much.’’ He says, not caring for a second how odd or out of place it could feel for you.
“ I have been here all the time, i didn’t go anywhere.’’ Your voice resonates through his mind, bouncing around every part of his brain.
‘’ No…”
“No?’’ You interrupt him before he can continue.
He realizes this must be a dream, a cruel dream he will wake up from, he will wake up back in the cell, such a cruelty of fate to tease him like this. Hasn’t he given enough? Hasn’t he suffered enough? Paid the price of his mistakes yet he is living the worst of the punishment again, having you with him once again to be taken from him at any moment, at any point without a previous warning.
No. No, he is a logical man he knows what a dream is, he knows this is not one. He tries to pull himself together, to breathe, to feel, to think. He moves his hand and looks at his watch, it reads Saturday November 5 on the little date window. It hasn’t happened, nothing has happened.
“Eobard’’ your voice brings him back, your eyes look at him so fiercely, so determine, making the next few words that come out of your mouth all the more shocking.
“You did it, its all fine now.” And he has to wonder for a moment, it’s this death or paradise?

Seeing Red pt 2 (AU)
Tumblr media
Part 1
Seeing the message Eobard sighs' resolutely, telling the Team she is fine and they can go home. Eobard becomes a little irritated seeing her message because of the obvious implication that she already sees him as her enemy. But he keeps that out as he messages her so as not to push her further.
"I know I shouldn't want this. But I am glad you're coming back. But must know, are you sure about this? You're leading yourself down a very dark and dangerous road again..."
No response but a crackling of electricity as lightning bursts open the door and a storm rages outside. "Hello Thawne."
Tumblr media
Eobard's body immediately tenses from where he is sitting in his wheelchair in the office. As the door to the lab bursts open, as if in defense from his time as The Reverse Flash he is out of the chair in a flash.
He sees Renee standing there, she looks like a completely different person. Not just her hair, not just her all black and purple bodysuit with it's mesh top and lightning bolts down the legs, it's in the way she doesn't smile when she looks at him. Instead she looks at him with eyes that are full of pure rage. Her expression dark as the blue white lightning crackles around her.
At this point Eobard's adrenaline had started to rise. After so long of wondering and worrying where she was and if she's okay, seeing her in this state was just too much. It's like everything he feared was coming true.
Renee smirks at the fear on his face. Good, let him feel what she felt for so long. Always wondering when he was going to snap, being the bigger person, always forgiving him, always loving him. If she couldn't beat em,join em. But this time she wasn't on his side.
Eobard looks genuinely scared now, something that was a rare feeling for him. He can see that she's in that dark place where she really wants revenge. He knows that feeling, that anger. So he tries his best to calm it, to get her to come back to her senses. Still a safe distance away.
"C'mon is The Reverse Flash really cowering over me?" Obsidian laughs darkly.
At those words, Eobard stands straight and looks her straight in the eyes. "Of course not. I'm standing right here, facing off against my greatest enemy." Eobard throws her own words back at her, trying not show how emotional he really was over her transformation. Greatest Love that was what she was supposed to be...He hadn't heard her use his name like that in forever...But he tries not to let her get to him.
Obsidian scoffs, "Enemy now? Well guess it had to happen eventually."
"I know. It's a sad reality that we have to be here again, this time I'm at the receiving end...But you know I never expected this from you Renee...Storm maybe but not you. I thought we were supposed to be the ones that always found each other..." He trails, looking into her eyes trying to get her to show him,she still loved him somehow.
"So now you care? That's rich or is this another manipulation Thawne? To let my guard down? Try me." Her eyes light up in warning.
"This isn't some trick. I'm being real. But you're right after everything between us, I don't blame you for being cautious. I wouldn't believe a word of it if I were you. But I have to ask you something. Is there really nothing I can do to talk you out of this? I just want you know that I've changed too. I'm not that old Thawne anymore." Eobard's expression was as genuine as his words as he looked at her.
"You tried to kill me!" She shouts as she lets loose a lightning bolt but he notices it doesn't hit him. "Oh I'm sorry the negative speed force...which you didn't do anything but give up!"
Eobard tries one last time to calm her down, "The negative speed force was taking control of me. I was losing myself and I could barely stop it. But I'm sorry Renee okay? I'm sorry I know right now those words don't mean much but I really do mean them. If there's one thing I want it's for us to just talk." Shit he was starting to sound like Barry...
"No. It'll just happen again. Let him out...Fight me." Obsidian's eyes sparked as she looked at him,no emotions except anger on her features.
Eobard only hesitates for a moment before responding to her demand. He realizes that there really isn't anything else he can do, the moment he releases the negative speed force to come out again. Eobard knows he may regret this decision, but he also knows he doesn't have a choice...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The negative speed force explodes out of him as Obsidian Storm watches a completely different Eobard Thawne emerge. The Reverse Flash, clad in his yellow suit. There is no remorse in his eyes, no hesitation or feelings or remorse. This Thawne was back, no need to pretend to be Harrison Wells anymore. This Thawne doesn't even hesitate before stepping towards her, looking at her like he's hungry for a fight as his eyes glow red.
Tumblr media
This is exactly what Obsidian Storm had come looking for. She always wanted to let out her inner rage and she'd been itching for a fight, all she can think about is revenge. "You ruined everything for me."
Tumblr media
This Eobard though is completely different than who she had been with for so long. His only desire is payback and he responds sarcastically. "You ruin things all the time. Now It's my turn."
Obsidian gathers a ball of lightning in her hand and without hesitation now hits him in the chest with a scream. He may be powerful but she was a goddess, the daughter of Zeus, her powers came from the storm itself.
Eobard falls back as the lightning crashes through him, sending him flying into a wall. He gets up and immediately lunges towards her, letting out a roar of his own. His body generating more negative speed force as he prepares to unleash more powerful attacks on her. As he unleashes a massive charge of orange lightning towards her, she retaliates by charging back a massive blast of her own. The powers meet in the middle with a loud explosion. The force of it sends Thawne flying through the wall behind him. He is still recovering from the blast while she already has more lightning crackling around her.
Obsidian's eyes gleam with the desire for a fight as she looks down at him, her rage the only thing motivating her now. "I wish it could have been different."
Eobard is barely able to hold himself up now, on the verge of passing out. He lets out one last insult, an indication that he's given up trying to convince her. He's only going to fight back now. It's all he has left. "We could have been together you know. I wanted to be with you more than anything. But I guess this is our destiny, we were always destined to lose."
Obsidian lets out a cry at his words, the sound guttural, wrenching from her chest,as she channelled all the hurt, regret, disappointment, betrayal, anger and yes even love. As lightning surrounds her, exploding out her it lights up the whole room. Unable to contain it she collapses.
Eobard is able to notice the expression on her face as she collapses, Even as he sees her exhausted and unable to continue the fight, he is still unable to do anything but watch as he shields himself from the explosive lightning. His heart breaking a little as he sees her fall. All of those emotions she had channelled through the attack. All of the emotions that he had caused through the years...He feels them all. Maybe even for the first time. It's too much as the negative speed force fades and Eobard realizes just how much she'd suffered for him.
Eobard's expression changes as he starts to feel something he hadn't in a long time. Remorse. Guilt and regret that overwhelms him all at once. He wants to help her, he wants to do something for once in his life. But he doesn't even know if she would accept that now. She given him so many chances already and he's blown all of them...does he really deserve another one?
Eobard's eyes are fixated on her. He can't bear to see her like this. She is his responsibility and his alone. Eobard knows that now, he's the only one who can make it right. Even though it seems like there relationship is completely broken he still wants to make her feel safe and protected for the first time in so long. He's had enough of being selfish and cruel.
Eobard looks at her closer than noticing she's unconscious, her powers really must of took their toll. Eobard thought for a split second that he should call in Caitlin or a medical team but then shakes his head, what would he say when he's still trying to pretend to be Harrison Wells. No that would just open another can of worms he didn't want to deal with now. He was also a scientist he could figure it out.
Eobard steps over and picks her gingerly up as he zooms her to the lounge and places her onto the bed in their. His eyes scanning her to see if she was responding, when she didn't, he closed his eyes in regret and guilt. This was all his fault, how could he ever hurt someone he cared so much for? But the negative speed force had twisted his way of thinking. Lost in his thoughts and worried for Renee he sits and waits for her to wake, not sure what to do.
Just then he hears a voice whisper, "The Lightning...Be her lightning rod..."
Eobard knows just what to do now, as he runs a hand over hers, his fingers sparking with red lightning, they spark her own fingers and with a jolt , a gasp leaves her mouth and Renee's eyes shoot open. She sees him their sitting over her. Her face shows a mix of emotions he wasn't ready to process at that moment. "Eo...what happened..."
Eobard smiles in both relief and sadness as he sees her. She's alive. A tear rolls down his cheek and he doesn't bother to hide it. He doesn't say anything right away, he just wants to her to see him for who he really is. He wants this moment between them to be genuine.
"I...we fought didn't we? I let Obsidian Storm take control?" Renee asks frowning, the last few minuetes a blur.
He nods slowly, his eyes glued on her. "Did I hurt you?" She asked, concerned.
Eobard hesitates for a moment then finally nods, but lets out a small laugh at the fact that she was concerned for him, the laugh comes out strained as he tries to keep his emotions from overwhelming him.
"I'm sorry I was just so..." Renee's voice catches and she can no longer hold back the sobs that escape her.
Eobard sits closer to her now, He wants to comfort her, protect her like all those times before, yes he remembers now. But he also knows how much damage he's done to her, how much trust he'd broken. He doesn't know what to say to comfort her, all he can do is watch her as she sobs. He can see all the pain and hurt washing over her. Eobard wants so much to heal her wounds but his powers are useless in this...he just keeps looking at her,his own heart breaking, waiting for her to say something more.
Renee finally does, "I messed up," She says tearfully, "I shouldn't have told you about reality shifting, about our future. It was better when it was just you who knew what would happen in the future....I shouldn't have rushed us. I messed up the whole damn timeline. Now you'll never..."
Eobard's heart breaks when he hears this. This is what did it...he's thinking back on everything that they'd shared since she'd told him about their future. All the mistakes that had happened, the decision he had made. It was all due to her trusting him with that knowledge. Maybe it was all his fault, Eobard knew better than to talk about the future, he should have stopped her. Instead he had been selfishly optimistic that they could get rid of the negative speed force for good and let it all happen. But he wants to hear her side of things, so he sits and waits.
"I just loved you so much," Renee continued, "Like before I thought turning off my emotions was easier than being without you. Turns out it just fuels resentment. Guess we are alike."
Eobard nods slowly, his eyes still glued to her. That was alot, he had so many questions. But now wasn't the right time. Now he just wants to hear her side of things, the truth not some watered down version of her emotions or what he wanted to hear...
"I do still love you," Renee admits, not looking at him, "But I don't want this to happen again. I wish I could tell you why I have so much faith in you, in us. But maybe you shouldn't know the future. Which is ironic considering how much more you know than others."
Eobard sighs as he takes it all in, a part of him wants to know everything about the future. But he realizes he probably shouldn't know the future. So he keeps quiet while she continues to talk. Her love for him doesn't surprise him but the fact that she would still want to be with him after everything he'd done...He notices the hint of hope and optimism in her eyes. Eobard doesn't want to ruin that.
The negative speed force had clouded his judgment for so many years. He had only had one well two singular focuses, killing The Flash and getting the future you back, he had taken for granted what was right in front of him. But it was clear now her love for him was real, as was his.
Renee looked at him, "Eo, is there anything you want to say? Other than we should probably apologize for trying to kill each other..."
Eobard chuckles gently at that. He looks down at her then. What more could he possibly say? All her words had led to this moment. He'd always been a man of action rather words. But it's time he put his words where is actions truly mattered. He wants to show her how he feels.
Eobard leans down and touches his forehead to hers. His feelings intense just by touching her. He wants so badly to say he's sorry for all the pain he's caused her. He wants them to forgive each other. He wants to take her in his arms but he doesn't push it. Instead he lets her take the lead.
"Eo...I know you want to show me through actions because emotions are hard for you but...can you try anyway?" Renee asks him.
Eobard doesn't like it but he tries anyway, "I...do love you. More than anything, more than anyone else. This isn't causel to me,you know that. You are my world...I'm sorry that I tried to control you. I should have been more patient with you, instead of forcing it. All of our fights turned into ones of control instead of trust."
Renee nods in agreement. "I know...see though you always fought to keep us together, when I let go, you didn't. So when you gave up this time It hurt and confused me then I just got angry. I mean you tried to change the future to get me back..."
That was true, everything he'd ever done was to bring you back. But it was also about getting what he wanted. Even when she let go, he couldn't. Which is why when he let go the last time it was such a surprise to her. Maybe something had finally changed for the better? He was going to try everything he could to make it so.
"I did want to change the future to bring you back." Eobard tells her, "You're the most important thing in my life and I don't care if I'm selfish. I just want another second chance."
"I know. I would have done the same. But I didn't have to you kept coming back yourself." She laughed lightly.
Eobard grins and laughs along with her. His heart feels like it's going to burst, his words not enough to express how he feels. As she looks into his eyes something inside him breaks and unable to stop himself he pulls her closer, wrapping his arms around her, he squeezes her tightly. His heart bursting with emotions as he holds her never wanting to let go.
Renee sobs against him. "Eo I don't want be without you. I break everytime you leave me, idk if have anything left if..."
Tumblr media
Eobard holds her even more when he hears this. He wants to tell her that he won't, he wants to be the one who breaks the cycle. "You don't have to worry about a future without me, because I'm not going anywhere. No matter what happens. We're stuck with each other."
Renee still appears worried, "But what about the speed force? I already changed the timeline I'm not sure if events will play out how I saw them."
That is a possibility he'd have to consider....but they'll cross that bridge when it's there. He's not worried about that in the moment. He's only worried about losing her. "That maybe true...But all I care about right now is you. No matter what happens from this point on, we'll make it through together. I will always be with you. I promise."
"Can you control it though." Renee asks, meaning the negative speed force.
Eobard hesitates for a moment before responding. " I would like to say yes...I can control it. There's no more negative speed force lingering anymore. I promise." Or so he thinks...
Renee looks at him then, "I mean...you're not supposed to be a good guy this early..."
Eobard chuckles and sighs loudly. Knowing that she's right. But he can't hide the positive energy he's feeling. He just smiles back at her, saying "Well..what I can say? You changed me."
Renee shakes her head at that. "I changed you back. Into who you were."
That was very true, the negative energy that had plagued him for 15 years was finally gone now...he felt like himself again. Who he was supposed to be. Holding her, this was who he was meant to be, not some evil genius. Because he had her.
"Eobard can I request something?"
Eobard nods still holding her. "yes of course."
Renee looks around but no one is around. "Could you look like Eobard again? Not who you are pretending to be, not Harrison and not Reverse Flash."
As soon as he hears her request, he understands who she means. She wants his true self, who he was in the beginning. Eobard nods and shifts into the real version of himself. The dark blond hair, the same blue eyes as before, with that adorable smile she loved so much. It's not the Thawne she disliked but the Eobard she had fallen for all those years ago.
Tumblr media
Renee touches the lines of his face, though most of it was smooth and the stubble around his chin. "There he is..."
A sense of relief and longing washes Eobard as her fingers run along his face. This is the moment he'd been looking forward to most. His true self was back. The one who would be her everything...all he wanted right now is just to be closer to her as possible. Eobard wraps his hands around her waist, pulling her even closer to him.
"I missed you." Renee murmurs against him.
"I missed you too...so much." Eobard says softly as he continues to hold her. Every part of him feels alive now...All those feelings that were buried under the negative speed force have returned...to finally be able to let again...was almost euphoric.
"You know I had a dream once...We were married, with beautiful blond kids, everything felt perfect, normal." Renee says wistful.
Eobard smiles wistfully. The possibility of that being a reality in the near future was something he had never dared hope for. But now it felt like it was finally in reach.
Renee holds him never wanting to let go. She had been so scared, she had thought she had lost him for good. And then Eobard realized something. Their fears were the same. If he had lost her forever, he would have no idea what to do with himself. The thought made his heart sink. He wa just so thankful they were able to rebuild, and in this moment he never wanted to let her go. Eobard's fingers brushes her skin, pulling her even tighter as he closes his eyes.
The energy from earlier had left her exhausted though. Eobard opens his eyes, noticing the lack of energy, he sighs and backs off her. "You're tired aren't you?"
"I did wear myself out." Renee admitted.
"alright well let's get you comfortable then." Eobard smiles as she starts to lay down.
Renee nods than says, "Eobard? Can you stay with me? Just hold me."
He nods with an understanding smile, at the moment he had no desire to be anywhere else. "Of course...how about I lay down with you? No pressure, I'll just make you comfortable..."
Renee agrees, "That sounds good." Eobard gently lays down with her, wrapping his arms around her body, snuggling close. His fingers tracing her skin, his eyes close, hoping they both can get some rest. The two of them sleep through the night, the rhythm of their breath and heart beat ever present as they lay close to one another. In their own world, their own reality. The world could burn around them and they wouldn't even notice.
Tumblr media
In the morning Eobard's eyes dart open as he hears a message on his phone. It's from Renee she must have sent him this in the middle of the night, while he was asleep. He looked over, she was still sleeping soundly next to him.
Eobard grabbed his phone, checking the message, his previous concern turned to one of joy as he saw the image...a pregnancy test and it was positive. His second chance.
To be continued...

When Lightning Hits Ice: Ch32 (on AO3)
FULL FIC LINK HERE
The hidden room was not what Barry had expected. It had white walls with dots in patterns that bore only a passing resemblance to braille, a shiny black floor, some kind of podium, and a display area on the wall that looked suspiciously like one he’d seen before. They’d found it halfway down the hall from the Cortex to the elevator, and all he’d needed to do was vibrate his palm over part of the wall to get the door to slide open.
The team had guessed that the Reverse-Flash could travel back in time, but now Barry was starting to suspect the yellow speedster could have come from the future.
“That’s my original design for the suit displays!” Cisco exclaimed, stepping around him. “There’re these energy generators on either side of it that we’d never have needed in the Cortex, but the case looks like it came right out of my blueprints!”
“You wanted to put the Flash and Captain Cold suits in a room where anyone and everyone who comes into STAR Labs could see them?” Hartley asked incredulously.
“They would have looked cool there!” Cisco protested.
“Guys, can we focus on the important thing here?” Barry snapped, stepping between them and pulling back his cowl. He frowned when the door slid closed behind them. “The display case is empty. Which means Not-Wells is running around in his suit. We need a way to find out where he went. Or where he hid Len. And Eddie.”
“I still think we should call him Unwells,” Cisco said, squatting and peering at the podium’s plinth. “At least until we can figure out his real name. And I really want to know how he managed to fit his suit into that ring. I was thinking compressed micro—or nano—tech.”
“Tacky as your naming conventions are,” Hartley huffed, joining him and brushing the smooth white metal top, “maybe we can take his ring apart when we catch him.”
Barry turned from the empty case to tell them to hurry up, but a spark of movement at the far end of the room sent him zipping forward to shield them. He whisked them away from the podium as a large, bald hologram head materialized in front of it.
“Would you like me to pull up the schematics of the latest modifications to the Reverse-Flash ring, Mister Rathaway?” the talking head asked in a polite, feminine voice. As she spoke, a 3D diagram of said ring appeared beside her.
“Whoa, it knows your name?” Cisco exclaimed as Hartley stepped around Barry to examine the diagram more closely.
“Of course, Mister Ramon. My facial and voice recognition software can identify you and Mister Rathaway in any decade,” the head said. “My name is Gideon. How else may I assist you?”
“Do you know where the other secret rooms are in this building?” Barry asked impatiently. But Gideon didn’t respond. He waved a hand in front of her face. “Hello? Hey!”
“Do you think it’s a glitch?” Cisco mused. “Since she’s from the future?”
“My programming is flawless,” the AI spoke up.“My creators were very meticulous.”

The Flash/Reverse Flash fight came SO CLOSE to having what I've been wanting from a final fight between them when Barry said, "this is for Iris", and then followed it up with, "for everyone you've killed", but it just missed it. I wanted Barry to name names while kicking Thawne's ass, including people who the timeline brought back in one way or another.

More Than He Bargained For Part 8
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Final Part
A/N: I know I said I would post more often but I decided it was becoming a lot if I kept posting in little sections so I decided to make them a loooot longer just to move things along.
Warnings: Violence, blood mentions, injury, mild language
-----------
Eobard took a swig of water, trying to quell the anger, annoyance, and exhaustion that threatened to overwhelm him. The Earth-X situation was proving to be more of a headache than he had anticipated. The lack of patience and impulsiveness from his team was becoming a hindrance, but they were his only shot at a happy ending.
A happy ending where Barry was dead, and Eobard had you by his side. The thought brought a twisted smile to his lips, but it was short-lived as a loud beeping interrupted his thoughts.
"He's gone," the Dark Arrow announced, and Eobard tensed.
"Who? Merlyn?" he asked, unable to hide the contempt in his voice.
"The biosensor in his suit indicates his heart stopped," the Dark Arrow replied evenly, and Eobard felt a sense of resignation wash over him.
Merlyn was never strong enough to handle anything, so his demise was no surprise.
Get over it.
"He always seemed too soft to me," Eobard remarked, hoping to move past the topic and focus on the task at hand.
The room fell silent, and for a moment, Eobard thought they had moved on, but of course it was too much to hope for as the Dark Arrow spoke again.
"He died for you," he said to Overgirl with a solemn tone.
Here we go with this.
Eobard felt a wave of disgust wash over him. Merlyn's death meant nothing to him, and he couldn't understand why it would matter to anyone else.
"We will make his death worthwhile," the Dark Arrow stated with a sense of determination.
How stupid.
"That doesn't change the fact that now we're down a man," he repeated, trying to refocus the conversation on the task at hand.
Dark Arrow gave him a withering glare, clearly annoyed at the lack of respect coming from Eobard. "Keep your focus where it belongs and GET to work on locating that prism!" he growled through gritted teeth.
Oh have I hit a soft spot?
Eobard couldn't help but smile at the opportunity for confrontation. He relished the thought of punching Dark Arrow's ridiculous face. "Watch your tone," he warned, his voice laced with a dangerous edge. "Or I'll watch it for you."
Dark Arrow's anger boiled over, and he stepped forward, shoving Eobard roughly against a pillar. Eobard couldn't help but grin in satisfaction, knowing that he had hit a nerve.
This was going to be good.
"Oliver!" Overgirl called out trying to diffuse the situation, but he ignored her, focused solely on Eobard. "Did you just tell me to watch my tone?" he snarled, his eyes flashing with rage.
Eobard met his gaze without fear, his wicked smile never leaving his face. "You're angry," he said in a low voice, goading him. "And I like it."
Dark Arrow pushed him further into the pillar, his fury barely contained. "Don't you mock me!" he spat.
Eobard merely chuckled. "Then do not threaten me," he taunted. "Or have you forgotten?" He vibrated his hand menacingly. "I can end your life before you even birth your next thought."
Both men stared angrily at each other waiting for the other to move when Overgirl showed up next to them.
"Try it once," "Kara" threatened, "and I break every bone in your body."
Eobard felt his hand get crushed by Overgirl and "Oliver's" arrow was uncomfortably close to his neck.
Okay maybe not the best idea.
He rolled his eyes, "Ok, we're all a little emotional. Here what I suggest," as said feeling the arrow coming closer to his throat, "I will stop vibrating my hand," he looked at "Kara", "You will stop breaking my wrist, and you," he said exasperatedly to "Oliver", "will be 10% less brooding."
"Oliver" backed away and let his arrow fall on the floor with a clang and only then did "Kara" let go of his hand.
"We accomplish nothing by arguing," Kara stated.
Eobard was annoyed again. "It's the accomplishing nothing that has me concerned." He paused taking an annoyed breath, raising his voice, "We came here to conquer this Earth, or have you forgotten?"
"Oliver" stepped in. "Locate the prism," he paused as he saw Eobard's murderous look, "please."
That's what I thought.
"Once we have identified the location of the target I will devise a plan of attack.”
Eobard was finally in agreement as he walked out.
Time to get the party started.
------------------------------
Harry sighed, his mind heavy with thoughts of the recent encounter with you. The memory of catching you flustered replayed in his mind, intensifying the beat of his heart. Seeking a distraction, he had joined Caitlin and Jax in their work lab, hoping to shift his focus to tracking down the Nazis.
Pushing up his glasses, Harry's attention was brought back to the tool he was tinkering with as Jax shared some information. "Felicity's got her friend working on Palmer Technology's spectrometry satellites," Jax said, breaking the silence.
Why don't we just use-
Caitlin finished Harry's thought. "Okay, but what about the Waverider? I mean, a time-traveling ship must have some sort of tracking technology we can use," she suggested, her voice tinged with a hint of hope.
Harry nodded in agreement. "It would help us locate these bastards a lot faster," he remarked, his determination evident in his voice.
Jax interjected, his expression perplexed. "Well, not exactly. It's in the, uh, Stone Age," he explained, scrunching up his face.
The confusion was mirrored on both Caitlin and Harry's faces. "It's literally in the Stone Age." Jax clarified, prompting Harry to let out a frustrated sigh.
Caitlin's disappointment was visible as she spoke, "Okay, well, parallel Earth jumping is kind of Cisco's specialty," her voice trailed off.
"Unfortunately, he's too busy being unconscious right now," Harry replied gruffly, his frustration seeping into his words. "I guess we're on our own.”
Just then, Professor Stein entered the lab, and Jax's face lit up. "Oh, perfect timing, man. We're trying to find the guys from Earth-X, but we're coming up with nothing," Jax shared, hoping for a breakthrough.
However, Professor Stein's expression revealed a hint of sadness as he glanced at Caitlin and Harry. "I'm sorry, could you excuse us a moment?" he requested, his tone conveying a need for privacy.
Caught in the intrigue of the unfolding situation, Harry exchanged a curious glance with Jax before focusing his attention on the professor. Something was about to transpire, and Harry couldn't help but smile curiously.
Carelessly tossing his tool aside, he remarked, "Happily. We don't want to interrupt whatever... awkward, awkward thing-," he said with an amused expression.
Caitlin, rolling her eyes in annoyance, her voice laced with exasperation. "Come on, Harry, it's not about you," she scolded, as she dragged him away from the unfolding conversation.
Yet, Harry's curiosity lingered. "-that is," he continued, his voice trailing off as Caitlin pulled him away.
---------------------------
One sheep, two sheep, three sheep...
Sitting in the cortex with Iris, you spun in the chair as Felicity frantically tried to uncover the Nazis' hiding place. Frustrated, Iris blew out a breath and questioned, "How long until you brainiacs find these Nazis?"
Felicity, visibly exasperated and annoyed, let out a sigh. "My answer hasn't changed in the two minutes since you last asked me."
You and Iris exchanged a concerned glance, sensing something was bothering Felicity. Iris quickly apologized, sitting up straighter in her chair.
Noticing the impact of her own tone, Felicity sighed and admitted, "I'm sorry. I'm dealing with some Oliver stuff," she paused, "not 'Nazis ruined the happiest day of our life' stuff, but... stuff."
You approached Felicity, sensing her distress. Memories of your earlier conversation this morning flooded back.
"Stuff. Like you're unsure about marrying him?" you asked gently, drawing closer to Felicity.
"I thought you guys said you were good?" Iris chimed in, scooting her chair closer to Felicity.
Felicity glanced at you, her eyes reflecting the vulnerability within.
"What if I lose him? I couldn't bear it. I love him too much."
You remembered your heart-to-heart talk earlier, and instinctively spoke up for her, saying, "You don't want to jeopardize the happiness you've fought so hard to build."
Felicity nodded, tears welling up. "We're just as good as we were the last time we got engaged and I got shot. That was the beginning of the end for us."
Iris let out a sigh, struggling to fully comprehend Felicity's situation, because her own relationship with Barry seemed so perfect and secure. You, on the other hand, painfully understood the complexity of Felicity's emotions, as you longed for the same sense of security with Eobard, free from worries about him or the constraints of time that seemingly never escaped you.
"I don't want to tempt fate again," Felicity's voice cracked, "you know?"
Both you and Iris enveloped Felicity in a comforting hug. In that moment, a beeping sound emerged from the computer, drawing your attention. Huddling around the screen, you asked, puzzled, "A break-in at Dayton Optical Systems?"
Iris, seemingly weary, suggested, "I know this may sound terrible, but maybe we should let the police handle it. We need our team focused on the Nazis."
Casting her a sideways glance, you couldn't help but disagree. At this point, anything could be connected to the unwelcome visitors from Earth-X
Felicity pulled up security footage and looked up, her gaze intense. "This is the Nazis."
Sighing, you swiftly began pressing buttons on the computer. "We need to inform the others. Now."
-----------------
Eobard observed with amusement as Barry walked toward Dayton Optical Systems, reveling in the sight of his confusion and apparent stupidity in trying to piece together the puzzle.
What a moron.
"Why are the Earth-Xers targeting this place?" Barry asked Arrow and Supergirl, unaware of Eobard, Dark Arrow, and Overgirl emerging from the shadows. They stood in front of them, nodding evilly.
"Because," came Dark Arrow's distorted voice, "they had something we need."
Eobard smirked as he carried the box and stood across from the Flash, slowly setting it down. Despite being mere feet away, Barry still couldn't figure out his true identity. How stupid was he? Even with his phasing abilities, was Flash really that pathetic in not being able to recognize him?
"Whatever you stole," Arrow started menacingly.
"We're gonna need it back," Barry finished, determination in his voice.
We're gonna need it back. Eobard snorted at the Flash and his pathetic group of do-gooders.
"Your confidence is predictable," Dark Arrow said, clearly amused.
I'll say.
"You've faced some of the greatest evils known to man," Dark Arrow continued, "and you've defeated them. But if you think so highly of yourselves, that you can defeat any threat that comes your way..."
There was a delicious pause as they removed their intricate gas masks, revealing themselves to Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl.
"How do you feel about us?" Dark Arrow said to his doppelgänger, wearing an evil smirk.
To say they were shocked was an understatement. Eobard relished in the stupid look of confusion on Flash's face as he glanced uncertainly at his partners.
Arrow spoke first, his disgust evident. "This is sick."
"Do you mean looking at your reflection and seeing only weakness? I agree," Dark Arrow responded.
"Thawne?" Flash said, attempting to sound unfazed, but Eobard knew the anger boiled inside him.
"Direct from Earth-1," Eobard answered with glee. "Do you like my face?" He gestured, "I was told this was much handsomer than that stupid face of Harrison Wells."
"You're demented," Flash seethed. "I watched you die."
Eobard shook his head and laughed. "Or did you? It's time travel, Barry. So very confusing. I always seem to be saying that to you, don't I?"
It was a hypocritical statement, really. Time travel was the very thing that had brought him to you, that had saved you. Why couldn't you understand that? Everything he did was for you. But he always seemed to mess it up, unable to be careful. You made him forget everything else. But that would change. He just needed to settle things with Flash first.
"Last chance," Green Arrow growled, bringing him back to the present. "Go. Home."
"And stay there," Kara said, her tone cold and resolute.
"All of you," Barry added, his expression hardened as he stared at Eobard.
Eobard smirked at him before putting his cowl back on, fully focused on going after Barry.
Oh no, Barry. Not this time.
Unfortunately, his moment of enjoyment was cut short when Overgirl was struck by a kryptonite arrow. Dark Arrow rushed to her side and yelled at Eobard, "Get the prism out of here now!"
He paused, throwing them a look. He knew the stupid man's love would get in the way. And for a brief moment, he saw you in his arms instead of Overgirl, causing him to freeze before shaking his head to clear the distraction.
He couldn't lose his focus. Not now.
---------------------
"No! Eddie! Oh my..." You heard Iris wail, her voice filled with anguish and despair, as she ran out of the cortex. Without a second thought, you chased after her, your heart pounding in your chest. What had just happened? The world around you felt hazy and disorienting as you reached Iris, who was cradling Eddie's lifeless body, tears streaming down her face. Joe, visibly shaken, repeated in disbelief, "Eddie, what did you do? What did you do?"
A heavy silence hung in the air as you locked eyes with the Reverse Flash, Eobard, the love of your life. Anger surged through your veins, a tempest of emotions ready to be unleashed. You wanted to scream at him, to slap him, to blame him for all of this.
Barry stood nearby, a mix of confusion and shock etched on his face. His voice trembled as he asked, barely able to catch his breath, "What's happening?"
"Cisco, help me," came Eobard's distorted voice, a sickening feeling spreading within you. Deep down, you already knew the truth, the devastating reality that was unfolding before your eyes.
Cisco's voice broke through the tension, his words heavy with realization. "Eddie is his ancestor. If Eddie dies, he'll never be born, and..." His voice trailed off as the weight of the situation settled in.
"He's being erased from the timeline," you whispered, tears welling up in your eyes. The man who professed his love to you was being wiped from existence. You looked at Eobard, a mixture of sadness and disbelief in your gaze.
Why?
Why wasn't I enough?
Eobard locked eyes with you, tears glistening in your eyes as they spilled down your cheeks. The depth of his remorse was evident in his face. He desperately tried to reach out to you, but he was met your tear-filled eyes.
"I'm sorry," he said, his voice filled with regret and sorrow. The transformation on his face from Wells' features to the one you had fallen in love with only intensified your pain. "I'm so sorry."
Your legs gave way beneath you, and you collapsed to your knees, the sound of Iris screaming Eddie's name echoing in your ears.
Eddie was gone.
Eobard watched your trembling form, consumed by sobs, unable to face him, and something within him shattered. He had never wanted to inflict such heartache upon you. He realized he was the cause of your pain, your suffering. It was a burden he could never forgive himself for carrying.
Turning his gaze toward Barry, who was still in a state of shock, Eobard's eyes filled with a burning intensity. Barry would pay for this. He would pay for this irreparable pain that he had caused. Eobard vowed to find a way back, a path to end Barry's life and find a way back to you.
But for now, he would leave haunting parting words. "I've controlled your life for so long, Barry. How will you get along without me?"
------------------
Your head throbbed with a pulsating ache, each beat echoing the chaos that had consumed your life. Nazis, doppelgängers, the unsettling sight of Kara and Oliver united in marriage on Earth-X, kryptonite arrows, the looming threat of neutron bombs... It was an overwhelming torrent of events that battered your senses relentlessly.
Make it stop.
Please, make it all stop.
Amidst the chaos, Harry attempted to explain the mind-boggling vastness of the multiverse to Alex. His voice carried a weight of solemnity as he delved into the intricate web of parallel worlds and the existence of countless doppelgängers.
"There are 53 Karas out there, just as there are 53 Kryptons and 53 Earths," Harry explained, his words hanging in the air like an enigmatic puzzle waiting to be solved.
Weary and drained, you glanced up at Harry, and in that moment, your eyes met his. His comforting smile offered a flicker of comfort. He could see the fatigue etched on your face, the weariness that clung to you.
"The Thawne from our Earth is working with them," Barry said, frustrated.
Time froze, and your gaze locked onto Harry hoping that it was all a terrible misunderstanding.
No. He wouldn't... would he?
But deep down, a gnawing sense of dread whispered the truth to your heart.
You turned towards Harry, your eyes filled with a mix of desperation and disbelief. The weight of the revelation threatened to suffocate you as you heard Harry's voice. "Well, he's an idiot."
It was too much to bear, the betrayal cutting deep into your soul. Excusing yourself from the conversation, you rose from your seat. Harry instinctively moved to follow, concern etched on his face, but you shook your head, silently telling him you needed time alone.
You walked up the stairs, your footsteps heavy with the weight of confusion and frustration, until you reached the rooftop of Star Labs. The sprawling city lay below, its lights flickering like distant stars in the night sky.
Why did this have to be so complicated?
It felt like every twist and turn led to an even more twisted mess. And of all the things that could have happened, Eobard had gone and joined the freaking Nazis. Just when you thought Eobard wouldn't dare, he proved you wrong.
Leaning against the ledge, you let out a weary sigh, the sound mingling with the city's distant hum. The cool breeze caressed your face, offering a brief respite from the chaos that had consumed your thoughts. You knew that there was only one way to get answers.
And you hoped it would work.
--------------------
"Will it work?"
Eobard sighed, feeling a mix of annoyance and superiority. It was a familiar sensation, as if he were constantly surrounded by people who underestimated his intellect.
"It will, with a few adjustments and a significant power source," he replied, his tone laced with a touch of arrogance.
Overgirl stood beside him, radiating confidence and pride as she said, "My husband's on his way to handle that as we speak."
Eobard paused his tinkering with the prism, casting a quick glance at Overgirl. "Your husband has a choice to make," he warned, irritation creeping into his voice.
Overgirl let out an exasperated sigh, knowing exactly where this conversation was heading. "Me or the Reich?" she responded, her confidence unshaken.
"That's right," Eobard retorted, a hint of annoyance evident in his tone. He pointed a finger towards her, his frustration mounting. "Because we have two goals, and my worry is if we can't accomplish both, he's going to choose you," he emphasized, "over a second Earth flying under our banner."
Overgirl shook her head defiantly, her confidence unwavering. "Oliver will not abandon our mission," she declared firmly.
Oh please.
Eobard rolled his eyes, his irritation growing. "I've seen this before. In 1945, Hitler and his men were equally short-sighted," he retorted, his voice laced with annoyance.
"Hitler was driven by passion and childish need. Oliver," Overgirl's voice dripped with disgust, "is twice the man Hitler ever was."
I could just strangle her.
The sheer absurdity of the comparison made Eobard want to scoff. "Not when he's blinded by his love for you," he shot back, slamming his fist on the table in frustration.
A heavy silence filled the room as Overgirl finally realized the truth in Eobard's words. The weight of the situation settled upon her.
"If it comes to Oliver choosing between me and the Reich," she said, her voice determined and resolute, "I'll make sure he chooses the Fatherland."
Eobard couldn't help but roll his eyes again, finding her declaration somewhat delusional. "How?" he challenged, his tone skeptical.
"If it comes to it," Overgirl replied defiantly, her resolve unwavering, "by taking the choice out of his hands."
Eobard watched her as she left the room, grateful for the silence accompanied by her departure. However, the silence was short-lived, as his watch suddenly beeped frantically. With a frown etched on his face, he glanced down at it and he could have sworn his heart stopped as he harshly threw the prism onto the table and swiftly made his way out of the room, running towards Star Labs.
---------------
^^^Flashback^^^
Oh my head...
Intense pain throbbed through your head, causing you to instinctively clutch your temples. The searing agony made it difficult to focus, but a chilling voice cut through the haze, jolting you awake from your disoriented state. The realization hit you like a bolt of lightning—you were bound to a chair, trapped.
"Where am I?" you mustered the courage to ask, futilely struggling against your restraints.
The voice, dripping with malevolence, responded with a sinister laugh. "Don't concern yourself with your location, my dear. You're the bait in my grand scheme."
"Release me!" you screamed, desperation and fear coursing through your veins.
Before you could comprehend what was happening, a forceful blow struck your face, silencing your pleas. The taste of blood tainted your mouth, leaving you dizzy and disoriented. Glimpsing a shadowy figure ready to strike again, you braced yourself for the impending pain. However, in an instant, a rush of wind and a streak of lightning disrupted the scene, heralding the arrival of an unexpected savior.
"You've made a profoundly foolish choice," reverberated the distorted voice of the Reverse Flash, his presence commanding.
"Who... who are you?" your captor stuttered, consumed by fear.
"Death," the Reverse Flash declared with a chilling finality, before the dark room flashed with another streak of lightning. The room fell silent, and he approached you, delicately touching your injured face, causing you to wince in pain. As he surveyed your injured state, his gaze flickered with a mix of frustration and concern. Every line etched on his face betrayed the worry he felt within, the furrowed brows and clenched jaw giving away how he felt. Intense fury and worry coursed through Eobard's veins, the sight of you, bound and defenseless, ignited a burning anger within him.
"Did you... kill him?" you whispered, your voice laced with a mix of apprehension and relief.
Eobard scoffed in response, his annoyance palpable. "You could have lost your life, and you're concerned about his well-being?"
A defiant glare met his exasperated expression, silently demanding an answer.
With a resigned sigh, Eobard admitted, "No."
As you stood beside the motionless body of your captor, you realized something. No one had known where you were.
You turned to him, a mixture of curiosity and disbelief on your face. "How did you know I was here?"
Eobard's gaze drifted to the chain that held your ring, his eyes filled with a mix of concern and affection. "How else could I know that you were safe?"
A mixture of incredulity and amusement washed over you. "Seriously? That's how you track me?"
He sighed, a tinge of annoyance still lingering. "Thank you, Eobard, for saving my life," he said, imitating you. "Oh, you're welcome, darling," he replied, feigning annoyance.
A smile tugged at the corners of your lips. "Thank you, Eobard, for rescuing me. I love you, you dork."
His lips curled into a genuine smile, his eyes reflecting the depth of his emotions. "I love you too."

It's interesting how slow time seems to move...
Especially when you falling.
Falling off a very very tall building to be precise.
The rush of wind whipped against your face, mingling with the bitter taste of regret that clung to your tongue. Panic tightened its grip around your heart as you peered downward, witnessing the ground drawing nearer with a terrifying certainty.
Dread swelled within you.
Maybe this wasn't the best idea...
As the ground loomed closer, your fear erupted into a frenzied scream, a desperate plea for salvation. And then, in a bewildering instant, you felt a sudden jolt, a force wrapping around you, pulling you back the threat of the hard cement floor. The world snapped back into focus as you found yourself once again on the safety of the balcony, gasping for breath, your heart pounding in your chest.
Eobard, stood before you, his cowl removed, a mixture of concern and confusion etched upon his face. A tremor of vulnerability ran through his touch as his finger grazed your cheek, his worry visible. But the proximity between you felt suffocating, and you pushed him away angrily.
"You're working with the freaking Nazis?" The words exploded from your lips, fueled by a righteous anger that surged within you. The accusation flew like venom, the incredulity in your voice reverberated through the air.
Eobard was left dumbfounded, struggling to comprehend the whirlwind of events that had just happened. "Did you really just throw yourself off the roof to ask me that?" he incredulously questioned, his disbelief barely concealed.
"You're unbelievable," you felt anger surging through your body, your voice crescendoing with every word, "Unbelievable!"
Eobard's composure shattered, his own emotions surging forth in a torrent of words. "I'm unbelievable? Really?" he shot back, his voice rising in intensity. "I have given up everything for you, for our happiness," he declared, his voice tinged with a mixture of defiance and hurt. "And you're unhappy?"
The dam of pent-up emotions burst forth as you both unleashed, the air crackling with the force of your heated exchange. "Bullshit, Eobard," you retorted, your voice trembling with a mix of anger and vulnerability. "Everything you have ever done is for yourself. That's all you do—think about yourself!"
"I'm never the priority. I'm never enough for you," you cried out, the words raw. "I'm sick of sacrificing my own happiness, constantly playing second fiddle to your inability to confront your past and be with me in the present. It's time for you to man up and let go of this foolish fixation on Barry and time!"
There was silence as you both looked at each other.
"I'm sor-" Eobard tried to reach for your hand but you pushed him away.
"Sorry?" you spat, your voice laced with frustration. "I'm sick of hearing that. Every. Single. Time. I'm done, Eobard."
Panic seized Eobard's gaze, his eyes widening with disbelief as the weight of your words settled upon him. "What?" he uttered softly, his voice tinged with a mix of desperation and disbelief.
"I'm done," you repeated, your voice breaking. With a swift motion, you tore the necklace from your neck, the ring glinting in the air before throwing it at him. "Get out."
His protests faltered as he met your gaze, your eyes brimming with a blend of sorrow, pain, and regret. In that moment, the reality of what he had caused sunk in, the shattered fragments of your heart that he had caused.
As tears cascaded down your cheeks, you quietly said again, “Get out,” but this time with a brokenness lacing your voice.
Eobard sighed, his resolve crumbling. He approached you one last time, pressing a bittersweet kiss upon your lips, a final farewell. There was a sudden noise coming from below. You recognized it as the emergency alarm. You glanced up at Eobard and saw that his eyes were filled with sadness.
"I have to go," he said softly, "Go hide. Stay safe."
And with a surge of speed, he vanished, leaving you behind, broken and alone. You wiped your tears away, knowing that you had bigger worries now.
As you came back down you saw men with masks and swastikas on their sleeves walking to the containment area of the lab. Further away you saw Iris and Felicity standing on the other side of the hall, worried. You looked back up, trying to contain the overwhelming emotions you were feeling, before making your way towards Iris and Felicity.
Something told you that things were about to get ugly.

An excerpt from a Reverse Batbrothers Zombie fanfic
Check it out and leave a comment
(Only Batfamily is age reversed/ Wally and Damian are freinds)
Wally slowly got up and walked over to Damian, his movements were clumsy and he was breathing heavily.
"You okay?" Damian asked studying the speedster.
"Yeah just a little tired" Wally responded sitting down next to him "something wrong big bird?"
     "Nothing" Damian replied looking away.
"Okay let me rephrase that" Wally leaned in front of him "I know somethings wrong so can we skip the whole lone bat thing and you just tell me what's troubling you"
"Just thinking about Tim and Jason" Damian sighed.
"I'm sure their all fine" Wally gave him a reassuring smile "after all their robins"
"Tim was a Robin and it got him blown up in a warehouse" Damian responded grimly.
"And he came back" Wally pointed out "besides Tim's got Rose now and Rose won't let anything happen to her 'Undead Nerd' "
"I suppose you're right" Damian nodded. Rose may be a manipulative psychopath but she was also very protective.
"Besides both Tim and Jason grew up on zombie shooter games" Wally added.
"Tim cheated at those games" Damian narrowed his eyes.
"Your just mad because he beat you" Wally chuckled.
"It's my turn for watch you two get some sleep" Steph ordered. Wally responded by sticking out his tongue.
"Real mature West" Damian rolled his eyes unable to suppress a small smile.

A canon divergence fic where Eobard tried to erase Barry's existence using the Spear of Destiny, needless to say it didn't work as he intended.

So Eowells kinda voluntarily changes his younger version's life by marrying Nina and making Eobard hate the both of them for this. So now I'm facing the consequences of my own actions by having a headache from trying to figure out how it would affect Eowells' life. Would things change and would he slowly forget he ever loved her? I'm an idiot. But whatever, I'll use the shows inconsistent logic and bullshit my way through this.
