This week is Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week, so I celebrated by making an aromantic pride patch. An aromantic person experiences little to no romantic attraction, i.e. crushes, falling in love. Some may engage in romantic relationships anyway, while others perfer not to. Personally I'm aromantic asexual (aroace), meaning I don't experience sexual attraction either. I have never dated or been in a romantic/sexual relationship, and never wanted one either. I refer to myself as self-partnered, because single tends to imply that one is looking for a partner.

So I literally woke up and came downstairs to make this set of patches. @urbanprole is in the middle of like 3 other projects so these will get test-stitched and photographed when she has a hot minute, but like.

They're about 3" x 3" so you can stack up flags on your arm, backpack, w/e.

(The colors look a little wonky bc it's just a mockup for the embroidery machine, and the way it displays colors has only a passing resemblance to how those colors will look stitched out.)
