The months following Steve's fight with Billy and the excursion through the Mind Flayer’s tunnels found Steve at a bit of a loss. The animosity between him and Hargrove had only grown exponentially, but it didn’t bother him as much as it used to. Sure, Hargrove sucked ass, and he had definitely taken over as the newest reigning douchebag, but that kind of stuff just didn’t matter to Steve anymore.
So at school, he found himself sitting with Nancy and Jonathan during lunch. It was a bit awkward considering Nancy and Jon were dating, but he didn’t exactly have any other friends, and he really didn't want to sit alone.
It was early February, and Steve was picking at his cafeteria food, barely listening to the conversation Nancy and Jonathan were having. He was lost in his own thoughts, staring into space blankly.
Across the cafeteria, Eddie Munson was jumping onto a table and taunting several different cliques as he went on a long monologue about society and social norms that most students tended to tune out. Steve watched him with a small smile, pushing his food around his tray. Then, Eddie was throwing barbs at Hargrove, Tommy H, and Carol. Steve winced slightly, knowing the words probably applied to him too, but he couldn't help feeling that Eddie wasn’t exactly saying anything untrue about them.
Before he could tear his attention away, Eddie was turning to face him. Steve's eyes widened. He hadn't even said anything! He’d been laying low ever since their last run-in with the Upside Down, just trying to graduate. So why was Eddie putting his attention on him now?
Eddie jumped down from the table and sauntered over to where Steve was sitting, throwing a leg over the bench to straddle the spot next to him. “Harrington.”
Now that Eddie was so close, Steve could see a slight red tint to his eyes, and he relaxed a little. He was just high.
“Hey, Munson,” Steve replied, giving him a weak smile in response.
Most of the attention on Eddie had dispersed, but Steve could still feel the piercing gaze of Hargrove on the side of his face. That jackass just would not leave him alone, even if he was trying to avoid altercations for Max's sake.
Eddie leaned an elbow on the table to hold his head up with his hand. “How's the fall from grace treating you, my liege?”
Steve blinked. “Huh?”
Jonathan leaned over from where he was chatting with Nancy. “He’s calling you a king. Asking about how you're doing after everyone dropped you for Billy.”
Rolling his eyes, Eddie smirked. “With more dramatic flair than that, but yeah, essentially.”
“Oh.” Steve floundered, looking between Nancy and Jon as he tried to think of an answer. “Well, it’s been nice not having as much attention, I guess. Nothing all that interesting has happened to me.”
Nancy hid a snort behind her hand, turning to bury her face into Jonathan’s shoulder. Eddie raised a curious eyebrow but didn’t comment on her reaction.
“Surely the life of a king has to have some frivolities. Raging parties, swooning ladies, the like…”
Steve scrunched his nose. “Nah, man. My parents cut off my allowance after my last concussion, so I don’t exactly have the funds for that kind of thing anymore.” He didn’t know why he was confiding that kind of information in Eddie, but it wasn’t like he cared that much about what people thought of him anymore. Eddie could spread it around if he really wanted to. “I just babysit Nancy and Jon’s little brothers and their friends. I promise it’s nothing interesting.”
Smirking, Eddie tilted his head to the side. “I'm sure you could make anything interesting, Harrington. Especially looking like that.”
Steve blushed bright red from the tips of his ears to the base of his neck. Oh god. Was Eddie flirting with him? “Oh. Um, thank you! I'm sure you're pretty interesting too.”
That seemed to snap Eddie out of whatever weird flirty persona he had let settle over him. “Right. Good talk. I'm gonna go now. Have a good lunch, Steve.”
And then Eddie was gone, back to his table as he ranted at his friends with increasingly frantic gestures. Steve stared after him for a bit, biting his lip and trying to make sense of the feelings stirring in his chest. On the other side of the table, Nancy let out a pointed cough with a smug smirk.
“So…” She started. “Wanna tell us what that was all about?”
Steve furrowed his eyebrows. “You witnessed the exact same thing that I did, Nance. I don't have any insider information.”
Nancy giggled. “No, not that. I’m talking about how you blushed like a little schoolgirl when Eddie called you interesting. You wanna tell us about it?”
Shooting another look at Eddie’s table, Steve started to reply before he noticed that some of Eddie’s friends were looking at him. His eyes widened and he whipped back around. “I have no clue what you're talking about. Jon, back me up here.”
“Sorry, dude.” Jonathan winced with a sheepish shrug. “You were pretty red. I mean he did call you hot, so I guess I get it…”
Steve sighed and let his head drop to the table. “I really don’t appreciate the psychoanalysis, Nance. He came over here, talked to us, called the way I look interesting, and left. Sure, I may have gotten a little red, but he was leaning really close.”
Smirking, Nancy leaned over the table to flick the back of Steve’s head. “You’re wrong about one thing. He didn’t come over to talk to us. He only talked to you. I think he finds you more than just interesting.”
Standing up from the table abruptly, Steve shook his head. “We’re not talking about this. It’s not like it matters that much anyway. He was probably just trying to mess with me. I’ll see you guys later.” Steve grabbed his tray and walked off, trying and failing to stop himself from sneaking a glance at Eddie’s table.
Much to Steve’s surprise, Eddie was looking right back at him. When their eyes met, he smirked and waggled his fingers at Steve in a wave. Steve blushed, his eyes wide, and he stumbled, almost bumping into another student in the process.

It’s tough enough to get through the day while keeping up as much of the old Jamie as he possibly can before he’s just ready to collapse into bed and sleep for twelve hours. He just needs everyone to see that he’s okay. Maybe somewhere deep down he thinks if they believe it, he’ll start believing it. Maybe he just wants to be left alone. He doesn’t really know anymore.
chemistry til it blows up, til there's no us by instantcaramel (Rating: Mature | Chapters: 1/1 | Words: 6,555 | Setting: Post-Season 2 Canon Divergence | POV: Roy | Tropes: Angst with a Happy Ending, Getting Together | Warnings: N/A)
“Did you think you were the only person who thought Marbella was a good holiday spot?” Jamie grins. “Nah, I talked to Keeley. She said she dumped you and thought you might need company after I asked her where I should go.” or, jamie and roy fall in love in marbella, get married, split up, and figure out their shit.

"Keeley mentioned you had a spare ticket to Marbs. Said I should come and keep you company." "How did you-" "Top bird, that Kathy of yours. She had the tickets changed into my name in no time at all." Or, what happens when Jamie joins Roy for the trip to Marbella.
Underlying Sentiment by nottonyharrison (Rating: Teen and Up | Chapters: 1/1 | Words: 3,195 | Setting: Post-Season 2 Canon Divergence | POV: Jamie | Tropes: Getting Together | Warnings: Minor Homophobia)
Jamie’s been sitting in the BA lounge for half an hour when he starts to wonder if it’s all a stupid idea. Keeley’s, of course. Jamie had no part in it other than nodding and agreeing that yes, a few weeks of Spanish sun would do him well, and no, no he wouldn’t have to see Roy all that much because the villa’s huge, and okay he’ll let Keeley sort it all out for him, maybe if he could just flick Roy a wee text when he gets there that would be great, yeah? Roy gets some company for the summer. Insert shocked Pikachu.
we'll be a fine line by howdyrowdypartner (Rating: Explicit | Chapters: 13/13 | Words: 72,815 | Setting: Post-Season 2 Canon Divergence | POV: Alternating | Tropes: Angst with a Happy Ending, Getting Together, Hurt/Comfort | Warnings: Abuse/Domestic Violence)
When Keeley breaks up with Roy after his spontaneous plans to whisk her away to Marbella for the summer, he makes the trip by himself, intent on forgetting about the break up as best he can through as much booze, tapas, and sunshine as one person can manage during one miserable summer. The last thing he expects is for his car to break down during a road trip up the Spanish coast, where he finds none other than Jamie fucking Tartt - who fell off the face of the Earth after his stint on Lust Conquers All - working in a seaside bar. Post-season 2 AU where, after getting kicked off of Lust Conquers All, Jamie decides not to return to England or football.

Hiiiii, I’m posting chapter 4 again because chapter 5 is coming very soon (using the long Eastern weekend for that yay) ^^
Details are below but it’s basically my idea of what season 3 could be, with a depressed Crowley and a frustrated Aziraphale who have to come together at some point (perhaps now hehe). Lots of Muriel, and other familiar faces. Some gender talk, it’s important to me. Some flashbacks (1941 shhhhh). Hopefully epic (especially starting chapter 4) but also funny, sweet and beautiful.
Thanks for reading and if you ever like it, share etc.! :)
~
Chapters: 4/6 Fandom: Good Omens (TV) Rating: General Audiences Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens), Maggie/Nina (Good Omens), Crowley/Nina (Good Omens), Crowley/Muriel (Good Omens), And many more I'm too lazy for this Characters: Crowley (Good Omens), Aziraphale (Good Omens), Muriel (Good Omens), Nina (Good Omens), Maggie (Good Omens), Who knows who else, Michael (Good Omens), Uriel (Good Omens), Saraqael (Good Omens), The Bentley (Good Omens), St James's Park Ducks (Good Omens), more but don't want to spoil Additional Tags: Post-Season/Series 02, I love spoilers but would never impose this insane lifestyle to anyone else, just read and find out, probably no graphic violence, No Sex, Whump, mostly emotional, The Second Coming (Good Omens), cuz well that's announced, They/Them Pronouns for Muriel (Good Omens), for the well-deserved representation, okay that's enough lol, (chapter 3 has a 1941 flashback just saying just saying), Shh Summary:
After Aziraphale leaves, Crowley realises he has nothing to do, no hobby. All he has really, is a broken heart. Thankfully, the people he knows on earth are not doing so well either. (And don't get me started on Heaven and Hell...)

The Noceda House
Chapter 1: Illusions of Home
As much as Human Rain was better than Boiling Rain, Gus realized that it wasn’t just not boiling, it was cold. Even as they stepped into Mrs. Noceda’s living room, he was still shivering. The only warmth he felt, if it could be called that, was Hunter’s hand on his shoulder.
Mrs. Noceda ushered them inside, instructing Vee to fetch the towels. Mrs. Noceda was all over them, trying to do too many things at the same time. Disinfecting scratches, asking questions, rushing to turn off the fire before it burned the food in the kitchen. They were instructed to sit and wait. To shower and eat dinner. To get some rest.
Gus was only half listening to all the commotion.
What was going to happen back home? How was his dad? How were they getting back? Tears prickled at his eyes again. He didn’t want to be thinking these things, but there was this overwhelming sense of doom. Like it was all over. Like there might be nothing to go back to. Like home was gone.
“Hey,” Hunter shook his shoulder. Gus looked up from his hands, where his nails had been digging into his thighs. “You’re getting that look.”
Gus frowned at that, but Hunter just held up a finger, breathing in and counting up. Gus followed his lead as they let out a breath and Hunter’s fingers counted back again.
“Thanks.”
“Don’t mention it,” Hunter said with a reassuring squeeze. “I think it’s your turn to shower.”
Willow was walking down the hall, looking a lot better than before. She smiled at Gus and nodded toward the bathroom.
The warmth of the shower seeped into his bones, his cold skin contrasting sharply with the humidity around him. There, his tears mixed with the water, so he couldn’t feel them. But he knew they were there. His chest hiccupped as he leaned against the cold tiles. He wasn’t sure how long he stood there, letting the water warm his body and wash away the horrible feeling that had nestled in his chest.
He felt a little better after the shower, but just barely.
The food in the Human Realm was…odd. Some of the flavors made his mouth water, somehow different from the food at home. It wasn’t terrible, but the meat didn’t sit well in his stomach.
The table was mostly quiet, even Mrs. Noceda had run out of things to say.
“Why don't you girls head up to Luz’s room? Get some rest. I’ll make up the couch for the boys.”
“Do we have enough air mattresses?” Luz asked. “The couch isn’t big enough for them.”
“You can share,” Mrs. Noceda said, not noticing how red Amity’s face got. It almost made Gus smile. Almost. “We can make do for now.”
“Right,” Luz said at her plate, trying to hide her blush.
“Tomorrow will look better,” Mrs. Noceda said, reaching out to hold her daughter’s hand. The sight tugged at Gus’s heart. He really wanted to hug his dad right now.
He didn’t think he’d be getting a good night’s sleep anytime soon.
Gus woke up in his bed. His bed.
Home.
Everything was in order. His scroll on his nightstand, his treasures were in their place on his dresser, Emmiline was in her staff form leaning against his bedframe, the sun was shining. He was home.
Gus rushed to his window, leaning on the ledge—that his hands went through. He fell forward, losing his balance, but caught himself.
It was an illusion.
He heard a distant scream, like it was coming from above.
“Luz! ¡Luz, mija! What is all this!?”
It was Mrs. Noceda.
Gus had to calm down, he didn’t want to scare the human to death. Luz would never forgive him.
Hunter stood beside him, Gus hadn’t heard his steps coming. He was looking out the illusion’s window, his expression unreadable.
Hunter sighed. “Looks pretty ding-dang convincing.” He nudged Gus with his elbow, a small smile on his lips.
“Thanks,” Gus said, his tone somehow defeated. “I need to dispel it.”
“Could you, um, leave it a few more minutes?”
“Yeah…okay. Just a few more.”
“Thanks.”
Life in the Human Realm, he began to realize, was really fast paced. The first days were general chaos in the Noceda house, too many people suddenly together in a small space. Then, as they learned to live around each other, the days just started speeding by.
Hunter seemed more reserved than usual, Amity was a ball of nerves, and Willow…Willow seemed her usual self. Luz acted different under her mother’s watch, acted like she wasn’t eager to get back home—to the Demon Realm. Every time Mrs. Noceda left for work, Luz would hurry to her room and pull out all her research from under her bed. Sightings of Eda in Gravesfield, newspaper clippings, old books from the library, anything that had any connection to magic. Gus didn’t think Luz was getting any sleep either.
It was driving everyone a little crazy, being cooped up in the same rooms for days on end.
“Okay!” Willow announced one day, barging into Luz’s room, scaring her half to death. “We’re getting out of here today.”
“I think that’s what we’ve been trying to do all this time,” Gus said from Luz’s bed. He’d been reading a report on how Eda had gotten banned from a French restaurant.
“No, I mean out of the house,” Willow said, stepping over Luz to sit on her bed.
“What are we supposed to do?”
“Get some fresh air?” Willow suggested. “We’re in the Human Realm, Gus. Live a little.”
The Human Realm. She was right! This was supposed to be exciting. Gus had always wanted to come here. But it didn’t feel right.
It felt like they were suffocating without the guarantee of magic. It was scary. It was like breathing without air. He had no idea how they were still doing it, but each breath felt like their last.
He never thought he’d be scared of the Human Realm, of getting stuck there. He thought of how Luz had decided to stay in the Demon Realm. She never seemed scared, but she always had the option to go back home. But that was before the portal had been destroyed. She was frantic to find a way over the moment her safety net had been removed.
It was a matter of security. And Gus got it. He really wanted to feel that security right now.
“Hey,” Willow nudged him out of his thoughts. “We could try to find some giraffes.”
Gus immediately lit up at that. “Titan, you’re right! Luz! Where can we find them?”
Luz rubbed at her eye, leaning her head back against the side of her bed. “The zoo, probably.”
“Can we go? Please?”
Luz checked the time on her phone. “They’re closing soon. We could go with Mami tomorrow. I’ll ask tonight.”
It was a little disappointing, but it was something. Gus thought that this was probably the first time he’d smiled since they got stranded in the Human Realm.
Tomorrow. Yeah, okay. That worked.

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: The Mandalorian (TV), Star Wars - All Media Types Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: Din Djarin/Bo-Katan Kryze, Din Djarin & Bo-Katan Kryze Characters: Din Djarin, Bo-Katan Kryze Additional Tags: Post-Season 2, but pre-season 3, also pre bobf, Angst Series: Part 1 of Lonely Summary:
It was one of those nights where she had mistakenly longed for some company, opening herself up to this conversation with the galaxy’s most awful man. She wasn’t sure if it was the way he was losing control of his ability to form a sentence because he’d drunk so much, or if it was the fact that he had spent who knows how long explaining to her why she should invest in casinos at Canto Bight.
Of all the cowboy-esque smugglers in this bar, she’d clearly chosen the worst one to have a conversation with.

the way some people reacted to David Jenkins and Neil Gaiman saying their shows would only have 3 seasons is so funny because I saw so many feeling devastated while I am so relieved and relaxed about it. don’t get me wrong I love getting more content with the characters I love but… normalize cohesive storytelling. normalize ENDINGS. do you REALLY want another s*pernatural????

It should come as a surprise to no one that I have binged The Owl House and am frantically writing away so I can, once again, sleep easy.
I have one fic in the works centered around the gang and the post-season 2 Human Realm aftermath they face (or how I think they would face it) [this fic is gonna be soo dated if season 3 gets renewed] and I have the idea for the most domestic, grandiosely fluffy fic for Raine and Eda (naturally; I adore them).
Stay tuned for the first chapter of The Noceda House (the first fic)! Each one of the chapters will be from one of the kids’ perspective, so it’s a total of five. This will be light work after having worked on the corivan one for so long.
See you then!

These two idiots kill me because what Crowley is hearing from Aziraphale is, “I am able to look past your demonic nature because I love you so much, but if there was a way, I would change that part of you” and what Crowley wants to hear is, “I look at all of you and I love all of you”

Meanwhile Aziraphale’s actually saying, “I love every version of you that I’ve known, but I miss the smile you had when I met you and I would give anything to bring that joy back”

I am simultaneously deliriously in love with the ending of Loki season 2 and absolutely loathe it
On one hand…Shakespearean tragedy at its finest, essentially circling back to Loki’s original Thor 2011 character arc by reversing it, and Loki has literally ascended to godhood. In the end, Loki’s ultimate selfless sacrifice was to sit upon the highest throne in the multiverse, and that to me is tragically ironically beautiful
On the other hand…Loki being alone makes me want to burn Marvel studios to the ground and do other unspeakable things
Best and worst ending of all time f u Eric Martin
