I am simultaneously deliriously in love with the ending of Loki season 2 and absolutely loathe it

On one hand…Shakespearean tragedy at its finest, essentially circling back to Loki’s original Thor 2011 character arc by reversing it, and Loki has literally ascended to godhood. In the end, Loki’s ultimate selfless sacrifice was to sit upon the highest throne in the multiverse, and that to me is tragically ironically beautiful

On the other hand…Loki being alone makes me want to burn Marvel studios to the ground and do other unspeakable things

Do you think that GRRM goofed up by killing off Jaehaera? Had she lived and been the mother of Aegon III's kids it would have been so much more satisfying an end to the Dance. Plus that way the Blackfyres would have descended from the Greens (through Daena), and all the Blackfyre-Targaryen conflicts could have been seen as a continuation of the Dance. I get mad at it, it was such a good conclusion thrown away for shock value.

Absolutely he did not. George gave the Dance a clear winner: the Blacks. The side that remained. At the same time he ended the other, the Greens.

This to me was the perfect conclusion after everything that happened during the war. How each side behaved. Who started the war and who started the bloodshed. The line of a man who fed his sister to his dragon while her son watched could not go on, and neither would her son ever be happy marrying his daughter in my opinion.

I also have a lot of thoughts regarding Jaehaera and I will agree that given how George made her, he had no need to kill her off in childhood. I don’t believe this little girl would have ever had children so the Greens’ line would have still ended. But I do understand he got rid of her so Aegon III could marry Daenaera. It’s honestly a sacrifice I’m willing to make and I wouldn’t have written it differently if I could.

Also I do enjoy the commentary that it was most likely a former green - Unwin Peake - arranging it. Sorry I’m petty like that.

Again sorry if I sound insensitive but I just don’t care about the Greens. I just established no emotional connection reading about them.

Also I cannot stand arranged marriages. Baby Aegon chose Daenaera so the Lord has spoken. It is Daenaera we want him with 🧜🏻‍♀️ his mermaid.

Like I know I’m sounding mean because Jaehaera was already born a green, Aegon’s daughter and Alicent’s granddaughter but it makes me too happy their line ended to care.

So I’ve been joking for a while about how Inko manages to afford all of Izuku’s AM merch

But I decided to nerd out and look closer, and I’m pretty sure the only expensive piece Izuku owns is the poster he got from Sir

You might think his dorm looks absolutely stacked

but that’s only because it’s a very small room and he brought every piece he owns

If you look in his old room it’s all the same posters

so he’s owned it all for at least a few years, he’s been working up to this for god knows how many years, just to be the proud owner of 5 posters so basic even he would put tape on them

All of his figures are less than 50$

One of which he’s had since he was a child

And it doesn’t look like the other unidentified figures are anything special either(except maybe AM in his yellow suit)

Izuku only has generic fanboy shit, like maybe one of the posters is a custom but I honestly I don’t think he owns a single special anything

The dead guy poster is 100% the coolest thing he has, no wonder he’s so reverent about it 💀

As for fits this is all we’ve really seen is

So yeah Inko isn’t dropping stacks on merch, I’m pretty sure those sweaters were a 2 for 1 deal because they’re almost identical 💀

There was a teen in the cave.

A teen no one knows and looks like he could be a wayne, stands in the cave.

"Actually, I'm a wayne." He says with a shrug.

Bruce, Batman, carefully thinks of the implication.

"Not yet," The teen, Danny, doesn't say anything. Simple smiles. "You're not a wayne, yet. You will be. But not yet."

Then Bruce sighs, dropping the batman mask in order to take in the teen.

"Does future me know of the time travel?"

Dannys smile grows into a grin, deciding to take pity on the man. "You, grandbat, have..." He makes a vague gesture. "Theories, which none of your children ever confirmed."

The bat's mind short-circuits at the choice of words

Dick is sputtering incomprehensibly, there are Baffled expression all around.

Because.

Because that child isn't Bruce's, but one of theirs.

"Who is it?" Jason demands, hand clenching his gun uselessly.

Danny continues to smile, a hint of mischief now peeking out.

The cave is filled with theories, some yell, some sob, yet all eyes leave danny.

All but one pair.

She had known the moment his body language switched just enough for her to read.

She had known the moment he disappeared before the clan.

Had known when his hand found hers, shoulders bumping.

Her heart clenches, throat dry and memories of her childhood flooding to mind.

So she asks, voice soft and hesitant.

"Am I a good mother?"

And danny looks up at cass, adoration and pride laid out plain for her to see and accept.

"You're the best."

And so they both watch the clan together, silent and comfortable.

(Cass doesn't question when she finds him, how and why. All she knows is that she's more attentive when out on patrol, looking and waiting.)

(This is how Cassandra Cain-Wayne returns one night from patrol, a child, barely out of toddler stage and clinging to her form.)

(This is how the Batclan officially meets one Daniel James Cain-Wayne, freshly washed and clothed, a cookie in hand and hiding shyly behind Cass.)

(When they meet, all they say is "Welcome home, danny," and "Good to see you again.", Danny doesn't necessarily get it, but that's okay. Maybe his new mom will explain it one day when he's bigger.)
