No, because truly, what was the point of killing him off? What about the ending would've been different if he had survived? Absolutely nothing, that's what. He could've survived and became captain while Ed and Stede are off living the dream. Everyone could have had their closure and happy endings.

Izzy has had such an amazing story arc this season and it was beautiful to watch. Killing him off right at the end, seemingly only for shock value because I genuinely cannot think of a good reason why they would kill him, was such a waste.

Ed and Stede are living their dream now and I desperately want to be happy for them and giggle about how cute they are, but I genuinely cannot bring myself to even smile about it. ESPECIALLY when Izzy's grave is right on their doorstep and was also the last shot of the fucking season.

Buttons can turn into a fucking bird and fly away but Izzy can't survive a fucking gun shot? Fuck off.

A friend of mine very unexpectedly got me Stede's robe as a gift. I hadn't had any thoughts of Stede cosplay, but when in robe ...

I happen to have a floofy white shirt from Ren Faires past that works well enough as a stand-in for the top half Stede's nightgown. But what to do for the rest?

Well, a few months ago @internerdionality passed along a pair of leather pants that happened to fit me exactly. And the boots I already had because I'm that sort of person.

Anyhow what you are seeing here is an a cobbled together GentleBeard cosplay, where Stede's the top and Ed's the bottom. Ahem.

BIG SPOILERS FOR S2 EPISODE 5

I feel like these past 2 episodes were highly rushed. But seeing the second kiss made me so much more emotional than the first. AND IT'S A FUCKING PARALLEL TO THE "you wear fine things well" SCENE?? HOLY SHIT? AND LOOK AT THEIR LITTLE WIGGLE AS THEY GET CLOSE. THEY KNOW EACH OTHER NOW, THIS KISS IS MORE KF A FIRSR KISS THAN THE OTHER.

This kiss is the first kiss as lovers, the first was infatuation or "a whim" as they discussed earlier is episode 4. This kiss isn't a kiss for a whim, this is the kiss for 2 men who have been through shit together.

Though I'm still pissed at Edward and I still think that he isn't off the hook, atleast he's changing. And I really hope that him and Stede change each other for the better. I love these two.
